Excellent service and impressive range of products
STAY AWAY! These people are crooks who pray on the elderly and then continue to extort them after the sale to get their orders. Delivery people continue to extort and steal from the residence if not watched! When k called the store, they continue to lie and refuse to fix the situation! I will be filing a police report and talking to a lawyer.
Wonderful buying experience the staff was extremely well informed on all the furniture technical specs. Very patient. No pressure at all. I was pleasantly surprised.

The people were nice, and we actually bought a beautiful reclining sofa and oversized chair. It's all good, till something breaks. We have an extended warranty, and called the beginning of January to get the couch fixed....one of the parts that allows it to recline broke. We've been getting the royal runaround, including promises of follow-up calls. It's almost April, and our couch is still broken, and no return call. It's very disappointing.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! They sell furniture they do not have in warehouse and when they realize this they give you constant delays as a tactic to frustrate you to cancel. You can try to contact the 800 number to get someone in Asia or India who gives you inaccurate information and eventually tells you too bad. Sales staff at this store is your best friend until you make the purchase - after that you are treated like dirt. Please look for proof of this deception on FB where I will provide proof as I can’t do so on this platform . I want to save others from being ripped off!
Greta was wonderful at helping me pick out the perfect peices for our living room. From the sofa to the tables. She is very easy to talk to and you can tell she really cares about making the customers happy.

Im not much of a shopper. I know what i wanted when I went in, and explained what I wanted, and they brought me right to it. It was great, I got what I wanted and was in and out. No waiting onoaperwork and my purchase was in stock. Not like other places where you have to wait 3 to 6 weeks. I was very happy.

I purchase a Power Lift Recliner Saturday for my dad, who just had surgery and couldn't come into the store. It won't meet his needs unfortanelty. Ashley refused a return on the item after just one day which I drove to the warehouse to pick up. I will not be recommending anyone buy here. Update: It's just an auto response from Ashley. After to contact which two people. Issue will not be addressed.
Malika was amazing!! We took a long time deciding on the living room set we wanted and she was so patient and helpful with everything! Make sure to ask for her at either the Geneva or Naperville location if she is there! Will be buying all of my furniture from her in the future!

Would give zero stars if I could absolute worst shopping experience I have ever had. Promised to get the furniture there faster than other companies and then cancel your delivery and push it back 3 weeks. Added extra furniture onto our order that I said in store would not fit in our house which we then got charged and they tried to deliver it. They email and call you 50 times to schedule deliveries that are already scheduled and then will call you put you on hold for several minutes then hang up on you without saying a word. Their customer service is non existent and you have to call to figure out when your deliveries will be because they sure as hell won't be on time and they sure as hell won't inform you of it. Good luck getting someone on the phone. Awful company darvin sells the same stuff and actually has accurate info on when they can deliver it. This place has wasted my money and hours of my time with their incompetence.

Malika was awesome. She found a bunch that I’ve been searching for for a day and a half and helped me out quickly. She was awesome.
We’ve gotten multiple pieces of furniture from here and it’s overall a great experience. My only issue with them is the false advertising marketing tactics for financing. They have a price listed on the furniture but there’s always some catch to that price that’s only revealed to you once you’re about to sign for the furniture. So just know when you're going in that you need to fight to get the posted price or else you’ll end up paying more than you think.
Ask for Paria! She was extremely patient with my family and I and helped furnish my entire house at a more than affordable price! She even made a few suggestions that really helped with my decision making. 10/10 recommend!!!

I've been thrilled with Ashley furniture for many years. I bought a recliner today. Seemed expensive but 25% off brought it down right where I needed it to be pricewise. My sales professional, Sania, met me at the door and guided me right to the power recliners. Being handicapped, not having to navigate the huge store to find things was wonderful. Great place!!

I was greeted by a sales person and then was left to ‘meander’ the store (perfect- no high pressure sales pitches). She was nearby when I had questions and helped me find what I wanted. Not my first experience with Ashley and all have been excellent. Quality product, professional staff, great value.
Horrible customer service. A storage bench that was on sale due to being a floor item was marked almost 200% from the price online (priced at $649.99 and online the price was only $349.99). Then they provided a 50% floor discount on the item, so I basically ended up paying close to the online price after the so called "50%". I spoke with corporate and corporate customer service was top notch. However, the customer service at the store was horrible - the person that picked up told me the manager was not available, then 2 minutes into the call, the manager miraculously jumped in the call and she indicated she was listening to our conversation. I cancelled 2 out of the 3 items purchased and will be repurchasing either online or through a different location. Pictures attached shows the price difference explained above.
Low pressure sales folks but very helpful. Nice selection, I had a list of about 5 or 6 things I wanted/needed to finish up a room and I was in and out of there in about an hour. Sania assisted me, she was kind and efficient.
Malika was absolutely amazing! From the second we called to inquire about what we were looking for she was so sweet and helpful I came back twice more to her! When we came back to purchase she noticed us IMMEDIATELY and jumped up to welcome us with excitement. She was the sweetest thing ever and she lights up the room with her kindness and customer service. We really felt as she was trying to help us find what we were looking for rather than feeling like it was a transaction. So far, so good. Need a sofa bed, for house guests. Checked out Ashley, as I'm on a tight budget. Called my local store and got great ordering assistance. Now. I just hope the leather couch is as good as the service!
I wish I could give them 0 stars. My last purchase with this store was the single worst retail customer service experience in my life. I purchased a table and chairs and had told the salesperson I wanted the 60 month payment plan being advertised by the store at the time. The salesperson told me with that payment plan the table would be full price and I would be required to put 10% down at the time of purchase. I agreed to both of these terms and the salesperson went over what my monthly payments would be on this financing plan. Weeks after the table was delivered I received my billing statement that showed I had a 6 month financing plan. My monthly payment went for $16 to almost $160 per month. I called the salesperson to have it adjusted to the plan I was told I was signing for and they told me the store manager would accommodate this. However, when I called back and talked to the store manager I was told they could not and would not honor my request since I already signed for the furniture. I have talked to multiple agents from Ashley corporate and all of them have told me that according to their corporate policy the store manager has the ability to adjust the payment plan, even after the furniture has been signed for. I am not sure why the store manager is determined to go against their corporate policy to not help a customer. I will never step foot in an Ashley Furniture store again.
We are so pleased with Ashley Furniture Store in Geneva, IL. Our associate, Sania Ali, was simply amazing. She went over and above what was expected. She listened to our needs, made valuable suggestions and was very patient with our specific needs. Her communication with my husband and I was excellent. Sania at the Geneva store was great. Very personable and knowledgeable. She made our furniture shopping very pleasant.
I bought a sectional, the table in the picture and a cabinet from Ashley Furniture in Geneva. My sales person Sania was wonderful she helped us in picking out the set and was very informative. I would have rated this 5 stars but when they delivered my sectional one of the recliners was manufactured incorrectly and the delivery driver insisted we keep it and the would send a technician to examine it. Well I got the distributor on the phone and let them know my issue they were no help. Then I got Sania and her manager involved and they were wonderful the got the distributor to exchange to part that was wrong and it was resolved quickly. My next issue was the cabinet we ordered it kept getting rescheduled for 6 weeks after the last time they want to reschedule I went back to the store and spoke to the Manager and she was able to cancel the cabinet order. Thanks to the staff at Ashley Furniture for all their help. They are the reason I rated this above average. See pictures attached you can see the one that was manufactured incorrectly and the other is the corrected final delivery all replaced.

Only 4 stars because the item I really needed is on backorder for weeks! I’ve never had to wait this long for furniture from Ashley! That being said my sales girl did a fantastic job helping me and was very patient and kind.
Furniture was delivered on the day it was scheduled. Delivery team handled the furniture well and didn't damage anything in the house. My driveway now has a three oil stains from the delivery truck however. That's not great.
We worked with Malika to find the perfect dining room set, along with bedroom furniture. She helped bring our vision to life and also showed us different options that helped tie different pieces together. We liked the dining room set so much that we got the bedroom furniture from the same product family! Malika was extremely helpful, energetic, and positive and made our experience at Ashley amazing. We can’t wait to work with Malika again in the future!

Very helpful saleperson in the beginning and thru the sale. Day of delivery the loveseat looked very good. Later looked at it more closely and noticed 1 cushions did not matchup properly against the other one. The 1 cushion was overstuffed and did not sit properly, and the cushions were rock hard which hurt our backs. Went back to the salesperson ( the next day ) and informed her about this and the only things she would say is I told you to not accept the delivery. Said this 3 or 4 times and refused to help us further. Also gave us a phone number for repair service.

Michaelena Majestic was very helpful on choosing a non-traditional living room. We had an idea, but didn’t know the configuration possibilities. The website was not as helpful plus slow. She helped with that and the color scheme as well. We are very happy with the results. Now just waiting for the delivery.

My wife and I went to the location on Randall Road for their labor day sale. We were greeted by Jamie. We wanted a dresser that was listed for $499 online. It was listed at $599 in store. So the $100 off "in store only" coupon was useless, there was truly no sale. It was a complete waste of gas and time. I felt as if Jamie did nothing to leviate the situation and she had a poor attitude. Overall it was a terrible experience.
Poor experience - don't bother going to the store for their mail coupons bc they jack up the prices in store vs online so it doesn't end up being a deal with their mailers "In store only." When I called to complain about the experience I had last week (having to drive all the way to store thinking I could use a coupon vs just doing it online) the managers response was "well you're keeping families fed by coming to the store vs going online" ... bc I am paying their commission. I have a family to feed too and wasting gas and time over a scam is ridiculous.

Only because my son told her we were not making a big purchase. So, we prefer to pay cash. Frankly, it's rude to assume that everyone needs credit to buy. Some customers make good $$ Geta!!! And can actually afford to pay cash. Rude salesperson indeed. It's sad that you lost out on a sale. Didn't give us an opportunity to finish looking at furniture. Won't ever visit your store again. We did not go that day to buy, just wanted to look but the service we received convinced us to buy the same day. We ended up buying mattress. Sania also helped us understanding terms and conditions. Since the service we received made us go next day again to look more furniture, next day Jamie greeted us and she gladly helped us and made us comfortable and said Paria is not here but she will assist us with any questions we have. We had such a great experience at Ashley! Our sales rep - Greta - was amazing! She let no us know about the sales when we walked in and let us be while we looked around, only checking on us once. It was so nice to look around at our own pace without any pressure to buy. We’ll definitely be shopping there again. The store was very clean and organized as well.
Came back ready to make a purchase. Asked twice for sales associate who had originally assisted us. Woman who “paged” her was apathetic at best. Did not tell us that the associate was busy loading truck. We waited a very long time and almost walked out. Then sales associate did not apply discount and my husband had to show her online price because she said price was correct. Next time we will place the order online. However, in the end the furniture was beautiful and the actual delivery was great.

Paid for an overpriced computer desk that doesn’t even work (sit stand functionality doesn’t work). Delivery was over $100 and they didn’t assemble the desk, leaving us to sign for it before we knew if it worked or not. We can’t return it or replace it now that we signed for it and customer service told us there’s nothing they will do. Stay away they do not care about you
Greta was very nice and helpful. My husband is handicapped and has trouble getting up from a couch or chair. She saw that he was struggling and suggested a much better option for him. Best experience with Ashley so far ( we have purchased many times mea).
We had heard good things about Ashley Furniture as a whole, but our last experience was far from stellar. When we ordered our couch, we had confirmed a delivery time 4 weeks away. This automated system confirmed the delivery time and then two days before the day occurred, we got a note that the couch was not going to be ready for another month (8 weeks total). The Ashley system then confirmed a 2nd delivery date, a full month later than expected and just one day before that delivery we got a notification that the couch was still not ready and was delayed another 4 weeks (12 weeks from ordering total). It was really strange that the system would tell us the couch was not available just a day or two before delivery each time, you would have thought they'd have known sooner. The sales rep who sold our account did credit some of the cost back to serve. Overall the couch did finally arrive today and it is the product we expected, however, the communication lapses on the delivery were indeed challenging.

I have shopped and made two purchases over the last 3 years with very positive experiences. Unfortunately, my recent purchase last weekend will be my last with Ashley as their customer service is unaccommodating when dealing with an issue. I went in and purchased a queen sized mattress and mattress protector. The protector was $120, which seemed expensive for what it was, but I mentally justified the price tag as high quality. Upon getting home and opening the package, I realized the protector was really a glorified fitted sheet with a thin "barrier layer" on top. I was disappointed and decided I would return it and purchase a protector elsewhere. Upon entering the store I was greeted by an associate who immediately told me returns were not accepted. I was surprised to hear this as I was never told during my purchase that sales were final and I would not be able to return anything. I was told I could speak with the manager if I would like which I agreed to. After waiting 15 minutes, I was informed by the manager that a notice about the sale being final should have been on my receipt. I informed them I was never informed that this was a policy nor did I realize it was a part of my contract. I was then fed what felt like a cop out excuse that "bedding cannot be returned new or used due to hygiene policies because it cannot be resold to another customer" I was told this was a "strict policy in the state". This is a ridiculous statement considering plenty of online mattress companies will sell you a whole mattress and allow return if you are unhappy with the product. At the end of the day, I accept and understand that the customer's responsibility is understanding what you are agreeing to when making a purchase, but I also feel it is incredibly deceptive to be rushed through a purchase and not be told what you are signing. Responsibility goes both ways and I don't feel Ashley is holding up their end of the deal. I'm glad to know there are so many stores in the area just like Ashley where I can spend my money, because another dollar will never be spent here by me.

I knew better and only went in to redeem a $300.00 store credit. My intention was to not spend anymore than the credit so we searched and searched until we found 2 items that would be less than $300.00. When we went to check out the person could not process the sale because their system showed a credit card dispute from a disastrous experience over a year ago. The dispute has long been resolved. Of course, “ their hands were tied and it was out of their control.” We went to lunch to allow them time to correct their error and when we returned the still had not corrected their issue, they had no time frame for when it would be corrected and offered the same excuse as before. At this point my history with Ashley told me they would never resolve the matter so I left them the store credit paper and forfeited the poor quality overpriced items we’d selected. I cannot say anything nice about Ashley furniture. Their products are inferior, their service is the worst and literally no one has the ability to resolve any issue. Check the BBB who currently has them at 1.08 out of 5 stars.

Well start off storing Batavia has rude salesperson I went in for some couches a recliner and some end tables which we're supposed to be on sale but because you didn't have them in your store you charged me full price plus he added on another almost $500 for the end tables when they were $299 on line basically I was overcharged for everything so today I will be canceling my order came home and thought about it and thought he shouldn't have overcharged me that much money it was 25% discount but when I got there he only would give me 15 very rude I won't be going there again mind you he was also rude to my two friends that went with me he told them to be quiet and sit there and eat popcorn he was being really rude could have been that maybe I'm Hispanic because I did notice a little different than how they treated everybody else I'm just as good as anybody else that walked in that place but felt discriminated thank you

That's rude! That's not professional 😐 She had a mad face since the begging and no personality at all. I looked at the Ashley website earlier today and identified several sofas which met my needs. Upon arriving at the Geneva store I was greeted by Brianna who was very helpful. I was directed to floor models of sofas which I then sat on, tested and found one that was suitable for my needs. It was on sale which was another plus as well as available for delivery. I made the purchase and arranged for delivery on a date of my choosing. Thus far it was a very satisfying experience.

We cannot get it repaired or replaced and cannot get a return call after multiple calls and hours on hold. Now we are stuck with damaged furniture and no resolution in sight. Months and months waiting for repairs or help. Notice they respond to the positive reviews, but add a negative review, and they quickly solicit positive reviews to bury the negative comments. A lot of "thanks for the positive review" but none on how they can help with the problems in the poor reviews. How about providing a phone number or email to a real person that can help besides sending you into a call center or a text bot. Buyers should take time to read the negative reviews. Most of them center on quality and poor customer service. Better yet, go look at the reviews on the corporate website. Nice stuff in the store, but good luck if you have a problem. You are SOL. We had such a great experience with our sales professional, Sania. She was very helpful with helping us find the perfect sofa set.
We purchased a couch in March and they damaged it during installation. We have been waiting, emailing and calling to get it repaired but we cannot talk to a live person. Emails or automated text messages are all you will get. I have tried multiple times to talk to someone but they do not call you back or you are left on hold forever. We finally received a replacement piece in September to repair the couch but the first available appointment was in December, remember this started in March! Today the repair team shows up takes one look at the job and says it was a two hour repair job and they only scheduled them for 45 minutes so they packed up and left. I am now on hold again for the last 42 minutes so I resort to writing this review which will probably never get a sincere response. I am to the point of calling our credit card company to reverse payment. They can come pick this couch up and we will go somewhere else where they care about customer service.

Ashley has beautiful products, the staff can be helpful but not always super knowledgeable. Delivery is always on time, accurate, and quick. But once again, one item has slight issues. Last time it was the bedframe that had a giant big gash in the wood and this time it was my cream colored ottoman having a dark black spot on it. I was told someone would call me today to come out and clean it, but never heard from anyone. Hoping they will call tomorrow otherwise I will once again be chasing Ashley furniture down after a delivery

There is no return policy when ordering a seating piece. NO WAY TO RETURN A COUCH THAT YOU BUY. After you buy it, if you don't like it, you're stuck with it. The piece we were interested in was not in the showroom, so we couldn't try it out. The sales person said it could be ordered and delivered to the home or local warehouse for pickup. If you don't like it, you're stuck with it as NOTHING IS RETURNABLE, according to the salesperson. Would you buy something that can't be returned? We didn't.

Briana Harris is the best and I wish she was the salesperson everywhere I needed to buy anything. Our Black Friday experience at Ashley did not disappoint. My wife and I were shopping with her parents for a new living room furniture set for their home and secondarily for a new sofa for ourselves. Upon entering the store, we were approached by Briana Harris who was immediately welcoming and friendly. She provided us with all of the information for the days sales and discounts, let us know where to find her, and encouraged us to look around at our own pace. We moved all over the store testing pieces and Briana was great about checking in on us. Once a decision had been made, Briana was incredible about working with us and negotiating the best deal for multiple pieces to be sent to separate homes. The sales prices were more than fair to begin with but I did not feel as if we were surprised with any hidden fees. The warranties seemed fair and also include a clause where if they are not used, the cost can be applied to your next piece. In the end, we had a great experience with excellent, personable service and got what we were looking for at a great price. Thank you again, Briana!!!

Posting as an FYI Buyer Beware when shopping at Ashley Furniture in Geneva. Ashley Furniture HomeStore They got me, and it was partly my fault. There’s the usual, “If you buy today, I can take $2000 off.” Whatever. Ok, so what is my TOTAL cost? $#####. Does that include tax? Well, no. Ok. Again. What is my total cost? &#####+. Ok. And they said, “You will have white glove delivery service. That means they will bring the furniture in and set it up for you.” Sort of an expected, but ok, thanks. I paid by check and I had stuff to sign. I was literally directed AWAY from the page that had the breakout on costs. “Just initial this, we’ve already gone through it all.” (Here’s MY ERROR! Trust no one!) After the fact, I realized there was an undisclosed $500 charge for delivery of one loveseat and two recliners. WHAT????? Snuck it right past me. I would have picked the furniture up myself. But it gets worse! The delivery was split between two drivers. First team did great and said you are not to sign off until the second truck gets here and you are satisfied. Truck should be here in 30 minutes. Two hours later, they show up. We were looking over the recliner, saw that it wasn’t assembled correctly. Went out to talk to the driver and they were GONE!!! 5 minutes later I get an email indicating that I signed off and accepted the entire order. The driver FORGED my signature! Follow this with two weeks of text and email with “customer service.” Not sure if it was AI responding or complete idiots. No email trail of conversations, not even a company logo. I asked about contacting the delivery company (who Ashley says is a subcontractor) and was told there was ZERO contact info for them. They do business in “tickets” therefor claim they have no address or phone number for them. I tried to do business locally. Should have went to Darvin in Orland Park as we always have. I won’t give them my business again, but if you do…double check everything!

I asked about cancelling and she replied 48 hrs BUT didn't say anything about the $200 mattress protector she sold me. She said it was not returnable because I walked out of the store with it. It never got opened. I told her I will return it tomorrow and speak to the manager. Ashley, how low are you ??? Won't step foot in a business that trains employees to be deceptive. If I could give 0 stars, I would. My experience with Ashley Furniture in Geneva, IL was horrible, that includes interactions with store manager Jennifer. The store manager was very unprofessional wouldn’t return calls when stated she would and most of the time not at all. For the reputation and prices, Ashley has very poor quality furniture not worth it. Our dining room set was delivered 6-7 times, and all times they were damage. Issues were ongoing for 3-4 months with very little done, never an expedited delivery. Also, furniture never came in a box despite requesting it too. First and last time purchasing from them, and will recommend any one I know to stay far away from their furniture.
My sales guy was the easiest to work with! Smooth experience from start to finish. The dining table I purchased was excellent quality. Have already recommended the Geneva Ashley to others.

We stopped in to take a look at various pieces of furniture. We recently moved and wanted to replace some things. We ended up buying a new recliner, TV stand, desk, and dinette set and caught everthing on sale. Our salesman, Dan, was very helpful, without hovering over us and being overly aggressive. We will definitely be back in the future for any more furniture needs or wants.

What I thought would be a speedy experience took multiple calls. I still could not enter my payment after 5 attempts. Was told I would have to come in and pay. I Asked to speak to the supervisor, Brianna, and instead of offering any compensation, she choose to lose 700$!!!

We bought a queen size bedroom set in April 2023 but received it with broken drawers and damaged headboard. Reported at delivery of goods. Even after a repair person came, the drawers and headboard are still damaged as the parts delivered were incorrect. Ashley's policy is to repair or replace damaged items, however, they did not replace them and the repairs are taking too long. The salesperson and store manager are not helpful. We want you to be aware of our experience before making a purchase decision at this store. I responded to the text address and your AI responder did not resolve. I have now sent information via email as requested. My review of Ashely store should now indicate Owner as unresponsive as well.

I came in today and ordered a dining room table and chairs. Greta took care of me. Three years ago Greta sold me my sectional and ottoman. She was very professional and helpful. She even remembered me from three years prior. I would definitely recommend Ashley and ask for Greta.

I bought a sectional couch, dining table and chairs, and kitchen table and chairs. The materials themselves are decent, but the communication was absolutely horrendous. Our delivery was postponed twice and they had delivered incorrect materials. The delivery men said we had 72 hours to exchange or return, so we left the incorrect materials in the home. They then refused to exchange or return the incorrect items because they said “It is against company policy to take furniture that was in someone’s home.” This is after 2 separate employees at the store said we can exchange the materials. So now we have incorrect items that we had to pay for and have no way of returning. What an awful experience and such poor customer service. The manager on the phone was named Jennifer, and did not care at all. We will never shop from this store again.

I had an amazing experience here. This was my first time buying a couch and it was for my first place by myself and Gretta made me feel so welcomed and she really knew her stuff! All my questions were answered and her advice about couch layouts and suggestions on what pieces would fit made me feel so much more confident in buying something I’ll have long term. I will definitely be returning once I move in for more furniture and decor it was a great experience. If you do come here I recommend asking for Gretta she will help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
The sales person started out nice and friendly; however, while checking out and trying to process using the preapproval I had from Progressive she began rude as well as frustrated due to the length of time it was taking. We ended up walking out of the store without continuing with our purchase due to her. She was mumbling about how long it was taking on “such a busy” day when it wasn’t busy at all in the store. We ended up not even purchasing the furniture we had picked out. I will never go to Ashely Furniture Store again.

Brianna is one of the most, if not best sales manager we ever encounter. We actually had a bad incident in the past where we wanting to purchases a furniture piece from a sales lady. The young lady left and she never came back. I seen alot of people just standing around, so I politely told them that we are not happy with the service being that we wanted to buy something. Turned out the young lady was helping someone else and didn't come back and didn't even apologize. The area manager was there and let us get a free small item for our troubles. We didn't come back to the store in over 4 years even after the area manager made it up with the free item. We decided to come back and give it another try because things changes over time. This is where we met Brianna. She was so great and accommodating and with a sense of humor. We was so undecided on what we wanted but she really was so helpful and let us test out the couches. She is the reason we will be returning to the store. Please give her a raise and promote her. 😁

I hate the fact you can't return furniture after it has been delivered. You should be given at least 30 days. I don't care what other furniture companies do but I think Ashley could consider taking returns. The furniture is ok.

We ended up canceling the order because many of the details of the transaction were not shared with us before the actual purchase, and the person doing the financing should not be working in customer service. Also I had to rearrange Work to come in on a Monday night because the sales person was leaving to go on vacation, as it turns out, she was not even there when we got there we were left to this one person to take care of us and it was a very bad experience coupled with the fact that we already had a bad experience several years ago we will probably never shop at any Ashley store Again. I wish I was wearing a body cam so you can see the disconnect this person had while servicing us.

I know people who have had a negative experience with furniture stores and delivery recently. We previously had good luck with Ashley furniture, so when looking for a new sectional I went there to look. Our experience was great from beginning to end. The sales rep was knowledgeable, friendly, and very thorough. We were able to schedule delivery quickly because our item was in stock. The delivery process was extremely smooth, with email and text notifications throughout the process. The delivery men were polite, quick, cleaned everything up before they left, and set up our furniture perfectly. Great experience all around .
Greta was awesome. She met me, offered her assistance, and then let me roam/look on my own per my request. She ch caked in on me, then gave me a copy of an out-the-door quote on what I selected. When I went back with my husband for him to see my selection, she was very friendly. I showed her a lower price I found and she gave us he price match. We were very pleased with her and the job she did.
We worked with someone on the floor to order a bed online. We were very clear that we needed a platform bed as we did not have a box spring. We received a bed 12 days later as that was the first day they could have it delivered. After the bed was set up the delivery drivers asked us where the box spring was and informed us the bed required one. I have been unable to reach the store to correct this mistake, it is now 1 week later. Corporate has given me several numbers that do not work for this location. The agents on the chat have informed me that I would need to speak to the store directly as they are unable to assist. The location is not near to my house so driving in would be more than inconvenient if necessary. This has been a very frustrating process. We paid for our item in full with no financing and now we are unable to get any servicing.
After Christmas we were sitting on our old recliner sofa. Both my husband and I commented it was hard to get out of because the seat cushions had sunk.. Off we went on a hunt.. He sat in MANY different types. We went to Ashley and were greated by Greta. She directed us to the recliner section. She was so helpful and listened to our concerns. Voila we found just the perfect one. It has a firm seat and a headrest which adjusts to help my husband's back and neck problem. And I can adjust the foot rest to accommodate my bad knees. The delivery was very good. So far we are very happy with our purchase from Ashley. Thank you for your kindness and good service.

Third post I am posting, as someone keeps flagging my posts so they cant be seen??? Bought new living room furniture 11/2022. Paid a handsome penny. Found serious manufacturing defects with the couch when it was delivered on 12/5/2022 . I wanted the couch replaced as it stated because I purchased new and I wanted new. They said they had to send out service first. Another few weeks went by and service finally came out and he informed us "the cardboard collapsed in the arm" Cardboard? He also found other defects with the couch and ottoman we purchased that we did not know about. Again, we told him that we did not want the furniture repaired, we wanted new. He actually took our side and sent us a copy of his report noting the defects which is included. Ashley got back to us today and will not replace the less than 1 month old furniture. During the course of looking into this further, we found out that others complained that what Ashley shows in the showroom is not the same as what they ship the consumer. I have saved every conversation I have had with Ashley as well as screen shots of texts from Ashley on various numbers. This was just a readers digest version. I have a growing paper trail of the poor customer service, not to mention photos of the floor model vs what was delivered. Not manufactured the same at all, as floor model is built better.

First I want to say I called this store 2- times and the Naperville Illinois store 2- times and know one ever picked up and when you push a different option it just hangs up on you. So I got on chat and asked them if they went out of business or if the is closed and they said rest assure that the stores were still open. So me and my wife decided to go to the Geneva store and when we got there the store looked like it was closed there was only 4 car's in the lot that was never plowed or even salted I guess they really care about their customers like they say they do not

Awful delivery experience. They did not want to take a dresser, night stands to second floor because it was not in their schedule. They are suppose to do that. And they said that they cannot take the old mattress. That's not true. It was such a fiasco.
My husband and I headed into the store on a Sunday evening, after a few days of running holiday season errands with twin four-year olds. We were greeted by a very nice sales rep named Briana (Bri) and she was helpful and knowledgeable without hovering- and the rest of the team was great about NOT sending six reps to sneak attack us while we browsed. The store was clean and merchandised well, we found several pieces we like, and completing our order with Bri was simple and quick. This particular location is not the closest one to our home but we’ll return when we purchase more furniture for the rest of the house just to have Bri’s help again. I highly recommend shopping here, and ask for her!

Ordered furniture that was promised to be delivered before holidays. They scheduled delivery date for Tuesday before Thanksgiving, then called and told me item was damaged. I specifically ordered these pieces because I was told they were IN STOCK and I needed them right away.. Did they really only have only ONE of that damaged item in stock?. Now I still have not heard from them as to when/if I will have my furniture soon! NOT happy at all.
This has been the worst experience. We’ve been waiting 7 months for our furniture. Just keeps getting delayed and delayed. Furniture was supposed to be delivered tomorrow and it’s delayed AGAIN. If it’s not delivered by the new date again we’re canceling our order and never returning to Ashley again. Do not order from here ever.

Unacceptable Bad Customer Service. Me and my family came in looking to buy a new couch. We were looking around in hopes that someone would greet us and answer our questions as the prices were confusing for me and my whole family. 20 minutes after we arrive still without no help, mind you we had passed multiple representatives but yet they seemed to busy to help us. By now we had already walked around the whole store and someone did stop and ask us if we were being helped and I told the person that we had not yet gotten a sales person and that we had been here for 20 minutes already. The person said that there would be someone with us, but 10 minutes after that there was no one with us yet. You would think there was a lot of people but there was certainly not many we saw around 2-3 shoppers. After being there for 35 minutes we decided to leave even though we loved one of the couches but we did not proceed to purchase this item because we first of all were not being helped and we were still a little confused with the prices. So that being said we will not return to this location and decided to go to another store and seek what we are looking for, with of course just a simple greeting and help.
Raquel helped us navigate pricing and delivery time for a bedroom set that we wanted. She gave us space when needed and did a great job communicating with us and answered every question we had. It was only her third day as a salesman for Ashley. Thank you!
If I could give 0 stars I would. We found a set of chairs in the store, but couldn’t find the price in store. We looked them up online so we had an idea of the price. We found the sales associate that greeted us upon entry and started placing an order. She read us the subtotal and we were SHOCKED. The price in store was 81% higher than online. We asked if they would price match, which they were willing to do, but they could not include the in store coupon. Fine, it was still cheaper. She read our subtotal again and it still sounded high. The bill included shipping. I let her know that online included free shipping and she said “that is only for orders under $400.” We said fine and proceeded to go up to the register. From my phone, I continued to try to go through with the online sale and sure enough, the free shipping worked. Of course this was after I had already swiped my card for an in-store purchase. They ended up refunding $40 of the $100 shipping fee. I should have canceled the order, but we need the chairs in a timely manner. I won’t be returning to purchase furniture in-store and I would encourage anyone who enters this store to consider using it as a showroom and then place the order online.

All 5 pieces (couches discolored, leg screw inserts missing, bent tables) damaged. Customer service not helpful at all. Told because I took receipt of products, they could not return couches and tables. Said my 8 month pregnant wife should have shut the door and not let them leave and be stern? WHAT!!! White glove delivery is a scam, set couches inside wrapped in plastic. I unwrapped and assembled and found every piece damaged and told I could not return them. Have pictures of damaged couches and tables, nasty text messages (sales rep couldn't even answer the phone) from the rep but they didn't care. Rep walked away mid conversation in frustration after revisiting the store. Online purchases have much quicker delivery times. Online orders could be returned within 14 days no questions asked due to consumer act of 2015. Items purchased in store and they left me out to dry. Saved pictures and text messages, yes, text messages since the rep couldn't answer or call back and decided to only text with me (saved all of them). Wrote a long review of my experience but was too many characters to post. For the "No. 1 furniture retailer in the US" this has been the worst experience ever purchasing furniture at Ashlely in Geneva, Il. Overall, this has been the single worst experience purchasing couches in my life from a company who clearly doesn't stand behind the product. I would have given a higher rating, but it is difficult to trust the sales people at this store. This was my second purchase at this location. We asked about the warranty, and we were told 5 years. HOWEVER, the warranty is only ONE year and then you can PURCHASE an additional warranty to extend to 5 years. Be honest with your customers and tell them the ACTUAL manufacturers warranty, but you also have the option to PURCHASE an extended warranty.

Smelly furniture. Purchased bed and 2 night stands. Night stands smell of chemical odor. Entire rooms smells from odor. Contents placed in night stands has absorbed odors. Furniture was manufactured overseas. This is second bedroom set we purchased from Ashley over past 10 years. Service call was met with no solution to cure, replace or refund. Guess we will not be purchasing from Ashley in the future.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. We have waited over a year for a bed to be delivered. We've been given multiple time lines that have come and gone and various excuses for the delays. Yesterday was to be delivery day. Delivery men were very nice however the headboard and footboard were the correct size but the rails were for a smaller bed! Now we wait yet again. Told Saturday will be redelivery day however it won't be til late afternoon which ruins our weekend plans. Our sales person Greta Davis has been wonderful to work with and has been very helpful in trying to get answers from customer service. The customer service department is the worst and needs a complete overhaul and training in how to work with customers. The rudeness is unbelievable. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience and we will never patronize Ashley again.
Update: Wrote a lengthy email to the reply listed, company never responded or reached out further as of 2 months later. Had a wonderful consultation 2 or so months prior. Returned last week and asked for the person who helped us before. Everyone we talked to made a face and told us he didn't work there, even though we had a business card and paperwork filled out by them. After selecting the items from our consultation, we were then denied for financing. Fair, it happens. But what wasn't fair was then we were met with the response,"why did you even apply if you knew your credit was bad???". Excuse me? I actually have decent credit, I just switched jobs. Then the associate turns to my partner, "we should have used you instead, you look like you have better credit." My partner defended me and told her again, my credit is way better than his. To which that associate slammed her laptop shut, snatched the finance paper away, I tried to ask for an itemized list because I really liked the products and would like to still try again, she printed a paper and tossed it at me. while we asked if we had any other options, she snapped back and laughed, "oh no, you have no options" and walked away. We were then followed out by another associate. I am never recommending Ashley after this experience.
We purchased a bedroom set for our son on February 20,2022. We were told that it would be delivered in late July. We waited patiently. It finally came today, August 11th. The headboard was badly damaged and the nightstand was scratched. No info as to resolution.....wait some more.

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! We purchased a sectional couch from the Ashley Home store in Geneva Illinois in February 2022. When we selected and purchased this couch from the showroom the couch was manufactured with springs included under the cushions. When we received our couch 2 months later, we found that they had sent us a cheaper version of the couch that contained no springs under the cushions and even had black material instead of tan. Ashley told us they stopped manufacturing couches with springs after we made our purchase. We called Ashley within the 72 hour period (specified in our contract) to tell them we are unsatisfied and they still will not let us return the couch. Look at the pictures attached. It is obviously a different product. We have had to seek legal representation just to return a couch... Unless you have unlimited money, and don't mind wasting it, do not shop here!

Delivery in customer service are both awful outside the store. It's been weeks, and I haven't been able to get my items. One because items take way way longer than expected to be made another one is the awful delivery service they have. They won't help accommodate a delivery time when I call and explain I'm only available in the evening I was told that wasn’t their problem and then it would need to figure it out myself. It’s been 3 weeks and I still have no idea when I’m getting my items. I’ve never experienced something like this companies always accommodate times and they done it before so I don’t understand what the problem is… Don’t waste your time here!! 7/6 once again a week later the Ashley’s delivery team has fail….still have no further

I made a mistake buying here, paint came off immediately so I requested the exchange and after a huge drama they sent me some refurbished stuff which I didn't accepted and it's been 10 unsuccessful attempts to exchange because they keep sending me dirty pre own used stuff frfromooothersotherspeople.
Order has now been pushed back 5 times. I was never contacted about this and have to contact them every time.
Update: Yes, the sales staff was nice. Our couch and chair are two years old and already sunken down to nothing. I don’t want either piece of furniture, but we cannot afford a replacement right now. Jake helped us with the sale. We was very informative, not pushy at all, and very friendly. He came across as honest and professional.
Greta was very helpful! She had multiple customers that she was working with, including myself, and she still made sure to check on me when she could. She was very knowledgeable about the product in the store as well as the promotions going on.
Jake was great. He knew the product well and advised us on the best possible product. The check out time was short and very easy. All in all it was a great experience. The only criticism I have is that Jake couldn’t/wouldn’t take the tip I was trying to give him. I can only assume it’s a company policy. I’ve never understood that policy by companies. They've got the nicest looking furniture around but I ordered my bedroom set and the highboy was damaged. Now it's been months and five high boys later. Still all damaged. A pleasure to deal with Nancy. What a coincidence that I bought a mattress from her in 2017 when she worked at Carson's. That was for a different room.
This store is not honest with their delivery dates. We purchased a table, chairs, and a server. The table was delayed a month, so they said it would be best to ship all three once the table comes in. So we said okay. A month later on delivery date, they only delivered the table and server. We asked where the chairs are and the guy said it shows they are delayed, you have to call our call center. Once we called them, they informed us that another customer bought the chairs we already paid for and now the chairs are on a 2 month delay. Be begrudgingly accepted this. We call 2 months later asking where our chairs are and the lady said they are another 2 months delayed and she has no idea why they originally told us 2 months. We call again 2 months later and they said again, wait another 2 months for the chairs... Finally 2 months later, 7 total months after payment, our chairs finally arrive. On top of that, the server came damaged. They sent the technician out, and he said it was unrepairable. And we should expect a call to schedule a new delivery for a replacement the next day. We never got this call, we had to call them for them to open a new ticket. They said the server is a month delayed and we said that's okay. We call back a month later and they said they never received a ticket from us on a replacement but they will open a new ticket now. Again we call a few weeks later and find out there still is no ticket. I have no idea where to go from here, but we still have this broken server that we've paid for. I would not recommend doing business with this company, they have outsourced their call center and given very limited information to those employees. Do not expect your purchase to be delivered in a timely manner, even if an employee promises a specific date. Employees at the store don't have any idea when the actual item will arrive, they are only guessing. And we still don't have a working server after 10 months.

The store has a nice layout with a wide variety of middle quality furniture. Sales reps are commission based. Nothing wrong with that. I've employed many myself. We've purchased from here before. Had a encounter at Ashley in Geneva today that very much discouraged me from returning. I was chased down from a distance and was basically not allowed to walk the store without answering questions. The sales rep was rude. The store felt unsafe. Felt like a religious person who knocked on my front door encounter. She claimed to "only be doing her job". I think management would appreciate this rep to be a little more tactful.

I bought the Savesto sectional from here and it's complete garbage. I asked about the protection plan and was told this couch didn't need it. It absorbs every stain. The cushions get hard and flat so you have to fluff up the cushions 3 times a day, which then makes them lumpy. This happened about 2 months after I bought it. The salesperson would not leave me alone to look at the furniture. Ill never shop there ever Again.

I do not normally write reviews but feel this very negative experience warrants one. I ordered my bed October 6th, 2021 and was told it was going to be 3 months. I understand global supply chain delays at the time and accepted. In January 2022 I called the Ashley Furniture main line to inquire and was told that my bed was on back order until June. At that point I requested to cancel my order since the lead time was too long. The next day I received a call from the store saying that it wasn't going to be 6 months, but 6 weeks and was offered not to cancel my order in exchange for free delivery, which I accepted. 6 weeks later I received a call that they my bed was available, which I was really excited for. This bed was for our AirBnB home 90 minutes away from our home. I received the notice a few days before to prepare for delivery, which included dismantling the current bed, which I did. THE NIGHT BEFORE delivery I received a call from Ashley that they do not have my bed and it was on back order until June. I was very distraught since not only would I not receive the bed, but I had to travel 90 minutes away to reassemble the old bed since we had guests the next day. The store called saying the 'headboard was broken.' I understand supply chain delays. I understand shipments being damaged. What I cannot accept is the very poor communication that the night before delivery to receive a call that delivery is not coming after over 5 months of waiting. Just tell me you do not have the bed beforehand and let me cancel the order. The store also did not adequately try to compensate for this very big mistake. In summary I would not recommend Ashley or this store. Please take your well earned money elsewhere. I waited over 5 months with no bed and wasted time. Thanks for listening.
Very good customer service. The process of finding wanted we wanted was very smooth.
They made continued mistakes regarding delivery of a mattress and refused to deal with it. It took three full months to end up with a working bed setup, and it required me to drive an hour back to the store to pick up the last piece that they forgot on their redelivery and refused to ship out. Once they have your money, they do not care what happens, and my pregnant wife suffered because of it.
Gretta did an AMAZING job showing me the various options they offer. She made sure to emphasize the “in stock” option. Will surely come back here for my next purchase. Thank you!

My husband and myself ordered a beautiful living room set from Ashley furniture in Geneva il. I can't tell you how much we love it! The sales staff at this store were very attentive to all of our needs in every way. I had to do an exchange, because, the coffee table we picked out was to big for the area we wanted to use it in. The office manager Jenn, went the extra mile to help us find one for our needs and she was very patient with finding one that would fit perfectly. We were very pleased, and we will go back again when we need to replace any of the furniture in house in the near future.
I needed a dresser for a guest room. When I told Greta I needed it soon she showed me some floor samples. One was perfect. And a great price! It was delivered the next day. I couldn’t be happier.

I was looking for a family room furniture for quite some time and purchased a set at my first trip there. The store layout, the sales associates assistance, the light... everything was just right. I even lucked out and got the price that I was looking for. I am taking one star off just because the store doesn't offer delivery on floor models. The sales associate was able to provide me with a third party contact at a reasonable price, but that would not be a free delivery that was arranged for me. If I was buying a rug, it wouldn't be a great deal. Buying a set of couches turns out to be more involved. I can't tell whether this is a common practice at all furniture stores, but this was my experience at Ashley's. Other than that, I am a satisfied customer. Thank you

For a long time, I was anxious to stop in. Sadly, after seeing two sets of furniture displays, it was enough. Same design throughout the store. Sadly, there was nothing to grab your eye or interest. They need a design consultant! Staff member was very nice and helpful (that is the only reason I gave a star in the rating.) Not planning to return soon.
We always shop at Ashley for all our furniture. We bought from them 5 years ago when we bought our first home, to now when we built our first home! Lauren at the Geneva store was awesome and also helped to make sure everything would match based on our descriptions.

I don’t like to be followed around when I’m shopping for furniture and the laid back approach is what helped me feel comfortable with my purchase. I can’t wait to get our living room and kitchen sets soon!!

He gave us space to shop without making us feel overwhelmed and was always available to honestly answer any questions we had. He went the extra mile to secure some additional savings for us and gave his opinion on some of the sizing options that the store offers, which we very much appreciated. My experience with Ashley is not going very well. I ordered dining table from them in Jul 2021 delivery confirmation was in Aug 21 and it was on time I’m very happy about it. But after that I found out they send us the wrong item that my disappointment started. I called customer service which is very hard to reach out. I try to call about 2 days nobody picked up the phone then I decided to go to the store. At the store I went directly to counter asking someone for help but what I got is business card and they told me to call that number which is I try for a couple day. At the end of visit I didn’t get any help just sale guy check the order online and see it exactly wrong. I went home very upset and try to call customer service finally someone picked up. I asking for return wrong item and get money back but as per they policy it can’t. They can do exchange and they said someone will contact me in a week to confirm delivery date and he will submit exchange order. Nobody call me back after a week. And the same customer service very difficult to contact. So I decided to contact sale guy his name is Jacob. This is only one good experience with Ashley that why I gave 1 star for them. He very supported, he offered me that I can use the item which is wrong and Ashley will respond for all damages until I receive the right one, he check exchange order it show no exchange order submitted. What the h***? Finally Jacob help everything and confirm exchange delivery in December. I just call them and ask if delivery still Dec. They said no it will be Jan 2022. I’ll call again in Jan hopefully I will get my table.

They matched the online sale price and will deliver within a week. Great deal..... So it showed up damaged and it took 60 days to send the replacement part. When I called to have the replacement part installed I was told it would take 2 more months to have someone come out and there was nothing they could do about it. Unreal. I do not recommend purchasing from Ashley HomeStore. It may SEEM like a deal but the hassle isn't worth it.

After researching for days and visiting nearly every furniture store in my area, I finally found what I was looking for at Ashley Furniture. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and gave me the space and time I needed to look around. Beyond that, the prices were actually unbeatable during the Black Friday sale. Better than the liquidation shops, but without any of the risky deals! When I was ready to buy, it only took 10 minutes and I was out the door. Can’t wait to get my sofa!

I'm taking my good review back and I just out things that were NEVER mentored at the time of purchase such as, that there is no return policy. I called because the price online and the price at the store were completely different over $500 at the store. I was told because I picked up the furniture the day prior that no price match could be done anymore. Again something that was not mentored by Jake. The cost of the "5 yeat" protection plan is also more at the store than online. The lack of customer service is upsetting. This is all within 4 days of my purchase. If you go shop at this store please please make sure to check the online pricing before you commit and continue to check it until the day you pick up your items or get the items delivered to you. This can save you hundreds of dollars. It would have saved me almost $1000.

Worse experience ever - been waiting over 6 months for a couch and some chairs - delivery date has been changed 7 times - no one ever bothers to call to let me know the date changed, I have to call and call and call just to be told there is nothing they can do -- horrible bickering sales people and very poor customer service -- not to mention when my table was delivered they scratched up my walls and the bottom bar fell off after 2 months of use -- will never shop here again
We walked in not knowing what to expect from the sales group, but knowing the couch we wanted. The sales team was friendly and informed us of the couches that were similar to the ones we came there for. They then let us explore on our own and we ended up loving one of the recommendations. So glad to have a sales team that was not overbearing the second we walked in and that would make recommendations and give you and your spouse time to think privately about them. They were happy to help anytime we had questions and would check in occasionally while we were trying out the couches. We will gladly go back!

Their home delivery service was about as unprofessional as it could get. After waiting 8 months to receive our bed frame the day finally arrived for delivery. Once here the two gentlemen (who worked for a delivery company separate from Ashleys) began to unload and install the frame. They banged the products carelessly through the house. The installation process sounded rough from the room next door. They managed to damage the frame itself (which was documented with them immediately) and above all the also damanged my bedroom ceiling fan. When confronting the workers they had no reaponse. The fan is inoperable and the $1,000 frame is damaged and THIS is what we waited 8 months for? Unpleased. Dissatisfied. Planning to follow-up with corporate to replace the bed AND cover damages for a new fan. Buyers beware, you've been warned. Kevin K

Terrible, terrible, terrible. When I bought a bed frame from Ashley it was poorly assembled which led to multiple problems in the future. From that multiple parts were broken, luckily I had the warranty. Ashley HomeStore is so unorganized and have no idea what is happening in terms of when parts were to come in and when it can be reassembled. They would always tell me different things on the phone. Finally they said the parts are going to come in and it never showed up. They told me then technicians were going to come with parts and reassemble the bed and they never showed up. This is a joke of a company and I hope no one buys furniture from this place again. My bedframe is still broke and Ashley is terrible to work with. Wish I can give them negative stars
If I could rate no stars I would. The worst experience I have ever come across when it comes to buying any type of furniture. The employees were not much help. Starting with my application they entered in my address incorrectly. My name was entered in wrong. Nothing matched when I got my paperwork after it being processed. I was promised a delivery date of 2 weeks before Christmas. Didn’t get my furniture till about 2 months after Christmas. My furniture was broken 3 times when they attempted to deliver. I refused to take in broken furniture and get charged for it. When I tried contacting the store they would not answer my calls after noticing it was me calling. I called from a different phone number and they picked up right away. Not very professional on their end. Couldn’t give me answers till this day. Worst part is they never even tried to reach out and make the situation a bit easier or even offer some type of help. I was left to figure it out and argue with the delivery people and the staff at this store. When I asked to be set up for auto pay they said new customers couldn’t be enrolled. What kind of system do they have? Not a very useful one. Overall no one knew what they were doing. I would avoid this store. Sorry to bash this location but they need new staff. Only person that was of great help was Greta. Thank you!

To long to receive a purchased item
I'll keep it simple. Went last week, asked what would be in stock in a reasonable amount of time, was given two options. Picked one. Ordered it 7/12 to be delivered 8/6. Got a call on 7/23, that it won't be delivered until end of September due to MANUFACTURER delay. I was told they ARE THE MANUFACTURER, so what was the delay? It wasn't in the notes...from themselves. Asked for refund, told I have to go to the store. Called store, no answer. I'll just be filing a chargeback because something that was promised to be delivered won't be. I shouldn't have to go to the store. I'm leaving a 1 star review because I can't reach the store and was told I would have my couch in August.
We have really bad experience with Ashley. We ordered sofa set last year whatever we ordered we missed lot of items what been told to us when we went to buy sofa set. Right now I got deliver after 3 month first time broken stuff we got. We returned back to them. Second time another sofa. Now they are not accepting all returns back . I called technician to come check my mattress now they are telling me to make another appointment after 30 days.
I have been waiting 5 MONTHS for bed rails. I have had my order rescheduled EIGHT times. The best part, they set up a delivery time and when they are supposed to be at my home, I get a TEXT message saying "your order is ready for delivery" NEXT WEEK. It's been confirmed NUMEROUS times, but nope. No furniture. The regional manager Mr. J. Ortiz does not respond to emails, the owners Chad and Jeff Spencer (father/son duo who reside in TN) are apparently untouchable and cannot be bothered (store would not allow me to get into touch with them), the sales team keeps giving me the same old line "let me see what we can do," and still nothing! Let me not forget this part... the Spencer's who own this Ashley Store work under the DuFresne Spencer Group, do a little digging and see what you find. I found A LOT of very unhappy people having the same issues. I have no idea how this store is allowed to have its doors open! They are crooks and they have no intention of making right what they do wrong. They just want your money. I have contacted NBC 5 News Investigates to help me get my money back and am currently in correspondence with them. Maybe now this store and its owners will get the exposure it deserves and hardworking people who TRUST that they are going to have a positive experience with them can be saved from the trouble and misfortune MANY of us have faced. I encourage others to reach out to NBC 5 news as well, it is a great way for us to be heard and HELPED! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! I

I wish it were an option to leave no stars. If you're thinking about purchasing anything from this company, don't! I placed an order for a sectional back in March of this year; I was originally told that it would take about 2 months for the furniture to be ready (not a problem at first). After waiting almost 4 months I took it upon myself to finally take this issue up with the store manager after getting nowhere with customer service after numerous phone calls where I was told something different each time. Miraculously as soon as I did that my sectional was then ready to be picked up, funny how that works. I picked up my furniture on June 30th, brought it home, and as I was taking it out of the packaging noticed that every single piece had a defect. One piece came with a black stain on it, another had discoloration, there was another that had a hole in it, and the rest had strings hanging off of them from the seams as if it were coming apart. I did what anyone else would do and called the number to report it, I was told that nothing could be done unit it had been in my home until 72 hours which seemed odd to me so I asked why they wouldn't want to know this right away so they knew that there was no foul play from customers? I was told that that was their company policy and to call back after that time frame, so that same day I took pictures of everything (which thankfully I still have and they show the date as well of the phone record for that day). I called back after 72 hours and finally thought we were getting somewhere; Veronica (the customer service rep) worked efficiently and had me email her the pictures so that she could process the claim. She called me back a couple of hours later and said that the claim was denied for an exchange because the furniture had been in my home for over 72 hours...what? I explained to her why I waited so long and then asked her how I can process the return, she told me to go into the store. I went in yesterday and was told that they can't process a return in the store because the furniture was already in my home and they gave me another number to call. I got into my vehicle and made the call. After speaking with Jerzain (another customer service rep.) and explaining everything to him, he told me that he had escalated the issue and that management was going to look through their phone records for June 30th to ensure that I actually called that day (not an issue with me because I have proof that I did) and that they would call me within 24 hours. Well here we are today, never got the call so I called the number AGAIN and had to explain everything all over again because you can never get ahold of the same person and the representative actually chuckled and told me that I was not going to get a return because they couldn't do that and that I had to go into the store to do so. Now I am waiting to hear back from a manager as I requested to speak to someone higher up because at this point I am absolutely infuriated with this company and their lack of customer service and professionalism. I will never be doing business with this company ever again nor will I be recommending them to anyone that I know.
Only drawback is delivery timeframe - however love the products that we chose! And price points! Going back once I clear a room for my plus size chair!
I am changing my review to 1 star! Ashley Furniture sucks. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I literally asked what couch I could get within 3 months they showed me the options promised it would not get delayed and here I am months later and every time I call it gets pushed backed another month. They lie to get your money and then don’t care about you anymore. I ended up canceling all furniture! You’ve been warned.
So we purchased a sectional couch and a theater loveseat/reclining and the sectional was delivered 2 months later missing a center connecting cushion. Was noted and then never called us. 2 weeks we called them and they order the missing cushion. One Month later we received the fabric and what looked like an armrest cushion that has no use for us. So we called again waited another month nothing. Called again was told its ordered were good and to goto the store. We went to the store they said there's not honey can do and to call the customer service number. Which we did once again. They said the last order was still pending from over a month ago. I ask to get a display cushion and.let them deal with the replacement and was denied. We spent over $3000 and I can't even use my new couch. I'm very disappointed with my customer service and realize once again they only want your money in the end! ......so I was able to go through the number they posted on my review and actually get someone directly who I could explain exactly what I have gone through. They expedited my cushion and even sent a tech to put together. With all that being said it took another month to complete but now I'm very happy to have my couch together and in use! Ps the tech gentleman was amazing and very professional. I'm going to add a few stars now that we have everything!

Changing my review to 1 star. If I could go lower, I would. Jake LIED to us promising our mattress and box spring by a certain date. 1 month later we are still waiting! I spoke with a manager today and he said it would be at least a month longer!!!! I will never purchase from them again! I am notifying the BBB about this!

What a joke this store is. Bought furniture 6 months ago, first delivery included a desk and book shelf, they damage the desk when they put it together, since then they have sent 3 different deliveries with the exact same hardware thus not able to do the exchange. all other furniture they have failed to deliver as they had estimated. First delivery was scheduled for August, pushed to October, pushed to December pushed to February. Customer service is a Joke, they FAILED to do their job CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNABLE to provide resolutions, adhering to store policy as opposed to provide customer satisfaction. I can go on and on, WILL NEVER purchase anything from this STORE. Don't believe what you read in advertising for ASHLEY.
Ordered bedroom furniture in June from Greta. Told Sept due to Pandemic. I waited til Dec with no follow up call from them.Told today could get it in Feb Which is odd since online if i ordered today it says feb. Would never go back and canceling card.
I was there yesterday and had a quick, pain-free experience as always. The selection is really good, the furniture is very well made, and the prices are fair. I buy most of my furniture from Ashley.
I told myself that my order would arrive for two months and it arrived at 3 and incomplete and they gave me another two months for the rest to arrive

Never again. If there was a way I would give Zero stars. Sad thing our sales person was phenomenal (Greta). This is twice we have ordered 1000’s of dollars of furniture. Paid cash. No finance. Both times they lie and use the pandemic for delivery delays. Every day you call you get a different person. Every day you get a different story. One time told everything but one last piece in. Then the next two weeks nothing in. I would buy and sleep or sit on a dollar tree lawn chair before ever buying another thing from Ashley . They are horrible. And “couldn’t give a you know what attitude “ no customer service recovery , take it or leave it. Absolutely the worst of the worst. Spend your time and money elsewhere
This was our first time going to Ashley HomeStore and I love that you can find everything you would need for your first home or if your wanting to redecorate every room! Where most places you have to wait at almost a year to get your furniture (due to the epidemic we had last year) we will be able to enjoy ours the next month! Greta has very nice and professional, gaves us time to look around and explain what promotional sale they were having. She came back to check on us to see if we had questions and took the time to answer all our questions or concerns we may have. I will definitely be returning and asking for Greta!

Wanted to hold off on writing a review to give Ashley the benefit of the doubt. Just had a replacement table delivered for the 2nd time and the experience solidifies my initial inkling - absolutely terrible experience. Originally bought a table, bench and chairs. The first table on the scheduled delivery date did not pass inspection, so we had to set up a 2nd table for delivery. When the 2nd table was delivered it was damaged as well as the bench. We scheduled an exchange for both (which in and of itself was a mess dealing with Ashley's customer service team - told me the exchange was all set up and when I called back to verify they had no record of the request). When the 2nd exchange table finally got delivered today it was damaged as well. Now we have to request another exchange! Whats even better is the fact you have to wait 24 hours after attempted delivery set up the exchange, since the order is still "on the truck" (if the customer service team is even able to correctly set up the process, which tbh is a stretch). Very poor company to deal with delivering furniture of poor quality with terrible customer service. *Update - two weeks later Table was suppose to be re-delivered today, with another piece of furniture (which was also an exchange because of course, the original piece was damaged) . I called twice to confirm that it would be and assured that it was. Surprise, it wasn't. When the delivery driver called customer support when they arrived, they were told it had not arrived in the warehouse (although I was told on two separate occasions it had been delivered). When I called customer support, I was literally told, "It's in the warehouse, but I don't know why it wasn't on the truck, I just work in the call center in Tennessee." Literally the single worst experience with customer service I've experienced in my life. There is no accountability, and no consistency. You call one day and are told one thing, then that doesn't happen, call back and are told something totally different. I am literally at a loss for words, the experience with Ashley was so bad.
Was shopping for a love sit for my mom who is 80 years old store was closing in 30min fastest shopping have ever did. Sales lady was wonder picked out bought and being delever ex in one weeks time. So happy with every thing thank you

We are very happy with Ashley home Store. The furniture is good quality and prices are reasonable. The sales staff are helpful, but also give you time and space to browse. We'll go back next time we need furniture.
Update: The in-store experience was good, but it took 10 weeks to receive our furniture after being told it was in stock. It also arrived damaged so we are waiting on replacement pieces on top of the already long wait time. Great shopping experience with Diego. He was very knowledgeable about the products and a big help in picking out a bedroom set with mattress that worked for us and our budget.

Visited store to confirm measurements for a new bedroom set and review the quality of the furniture. Ended up purchasing a new primary bedroom set with new mattress and a kitchen table. Ryan and Jake did a fantastic job explaining all buying options and helped us make a well informed, quick decision. Very pleased with the level of service provided. Highly recommend this store to everyone.

I do not understand how this place is in business. Ordered a couch on February 5th. The couch was not in stock and was estimated to be in for delivery early April. I called to follow up at the end of March and was told that everything would be here on April 9th (the exact estimated delivery date). I called back a few days later because I was excited about getting these couches. The guy I spoke to told me my couches would be in the next day which was a Saturday. I called on Monday and was told that my couches would be here may 27th. So 3 different answers in one week. THEN I called the store directly. They proceeded to tell me that they wouldn’t have that couch until JUNE and that the couches all came in damaged. So now I think we are on 4 different answered within a week? Unbelievably unprofessional all around. No one can seem to help or provide any sort of solution. I cancelled my order and will never be shopping with this awful company again. I suggest you do the same.

BUYER BEWARE! I placed an order for sectional sofa and power recliner in October of 2020 finally received it early March. With the recliner coming the 30th of March. Only to receive the sectional with the center piece the armless loveseat with a broken frame. Call the store to see if I would need to wait another 5 months for the piece. Was told they found 1 and I had it in less than 2. When the second piece was delivered that also had a broken frame. I was asked if I would allow them to repair it to showroom new condition if not satisfied, I could wait for the replacement. Since approving the attempt to repair I have not received 1 call from service to schedule a appointment. Every time I call I was told the would create a ticket and I would receive a call within 24 - 48 hours. Never happens. For Ashley to say the stand behind what they sell is a joke. When it comes to service they hide behind what they sell. A true test of a company is how they rise to problems. Ashley Failed The Test!!!
Ordered desk on 9/4/20. Received in March of 2021. Unfortunately, I was asleep when it was delivered because the window for delivery was 2 to six and it came at 10:30pm. Severely damaged, my husband didn’t bother to check because he was barely awake. Delivery crew threw out all of their food boxes and drink containers in our driveway. Worst experience ever.desk was so smashed up; had to go into store three times and still no replacement.

We had an AMAZING experience at the Ashley Furniture HomeStore. The selection available is VAST and they have great deals and most importantly incredible financing offers which is great for lower income families who are in need of furniture but cannot pay thousands of dollars out of pocket. We received assistance from Jacob Westhoff almost immediately upon entering the store. He was not pushy and allowed us to roam at our leisure whilst ensuring us that he would be around to help us in any way and answer any questions we would have. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the products, and was able to help us understand what exactly we would be getting if we decided to purchase with Ashley Homestore. Needless to say, we made that purchase! We are super excited to receive our new furniture soon!!! Special thanks to Jake for his help in finding a new piece of our home. This was the best furniture shopping experience I’ve ever had. Greta greeted me as soon as I came through the door and stayed with me throughout my entire experience. I already had a good idea of what I wanted, but Greta was there to answer any questions I may have and provide alternative solutions. I was in and out in less than an hour and that was WITH three little kiddos laying on mattresses.
We had an extremely pleasant experience at Ashley HomeStore. We went in to look at sectionals and the sales staff made themselves known, but weren't the slightest bit pushy and let us do our own shopping. I have never been in a furniture store where I wasn't hounded, until now. Diego was extremely helpful and polite. Highly recommended.

Terrible experience. Purchased a dinette set for $1800. One of the chairs arrived broken and within 2-days a second one broke. I was told to email pictures and someone would contact me in 48-hours. After 5-days I called back and they asked for more pictures by the way I purchased the protection plan. After being on the phone for nearly an hour they told me they are mailing me the parts to fix it.
Very professional assistance, helpful, no pressure. This is our 2nd purchase at this store in the past year, very pleased with service, price and product.

We are extremely disappointed and disgusted by the service we reviewed at the Geneva Ashely Store..Extremely rude customer service, unethical management and staff with no regards for their customers. We have had a terrible experience at Ashley furniture. We ordered our furniture beginning of November and we’re told it will be delivered in 8 weeks. After 8 weeks when we didn’t get a status update, we called them and they told us that the furniture is on back order and won’t be here till February. When we called in February, they pushed it back to March. When we finally went to the store, they told us that it’s not being manufactured anymore. No one had the courtesy to call us, the manager at the Geneva Ashley store is extremely rude and couldn’t cate less that we were left in a pickle. We got No apologies and they didn’t do anything to retain us as their customers. No willingness to help us pick any available pieces at all!!

Bought a couch, love seat, oversized chair and ottoman, table, 2 side tables and a king mattress. The couch and love seat have both broke twice in one year. They will not back their product. Their furniture is cheaply made. Buyer beware!! Spent thousands of dollars at this store, and they will do nothing to help us. Horrible, just horrible.

Shopping during the current covid pandemic is unique experience in itself. I stopped by the Geneva location and was promptly greeted by Greta. I was in the market for new living room furniture. I appreciated Greta's patience and listening skills. After exploring my options I decided on a sectional and recliner. She was up front with the supply chain delays due to covid and kept me informed on the status of my order. It took longer than expected, but was of no fault of store or Greta. I would reccomend stopping in and working with Greta.
I went in today to just go with my parents so they can buy there furniture & I ended up buying a new mattress & new bed set from Jake, he was wonderful sales men. He was the best. He helped me find the best mattress for me & bed set for me I am beyond happy. I can’t wait to sleep in style thanks to Jake. Go see Jake when you go to Ashley’s furniture store in Geneva, IL. My husband and I were shopping for a new couch during the President's day weekend sale. We were approached as we entered the store by a nice young man named Dawson. He was very helpful without being pushy. He let us browse the store and periodically checked on us and answered the few questions we had. We ended up purchasing a sectional and a dining room table and chairs from Dawson. There was never any pressure or expectation to buy buy and I’m so glad we did since Dawson works on commission. I would definitely buy more furniture from Ashley, but only if Dawson is there to seal the deal!
Geneva store is without a doubt the best location I have purchased from. I generally buy furniture from Ashley because the selections are great, quality is good and it is reasonably priced. I had a horrible weekend shopping at another Ashley location for family room furniture. The sales people were like vultures. Within five minutes of walking on the store three different people were trying to be my best buddy and ask the same questions the previous one did. Really made us uncomfortable. Decided to go to Geneva to see if a couch was on the floor to look at. It was night and day in comparison. Friendly knowledgeable staff that didn't pressure you. They let me shop and if I had questions were there to answer them. That's what I like when I shop for furniture. Not someone that makes me feel like they are trying to sell me a 1974 Chevelle on a lemon lot. Will definitely shop at this location from now on. Got a great deal on the furniture and it was pain free. Very happy with Geneva.

I thought my nightmares would be over after waiting months and months for delivery, but they weren’t. My piece came damaged from delivery and customer service will do just about anything to brush off the burden onto someone else. Ridiculous.

UPDATE: For anyone looking to buy something from here, I highly recommend against it. Even though they have responded to this review, the customer service will send you one email a day and does not refer to previous emails, so they end up asking the same questions over and over and now it's been 3 days with no response. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. The in store experience was pretty bad. It was obvious half the people did not know what they were talking about or doing. When setting up delivery, I was told everything would come the same day, when that day came, only the bed was delivered. I called to ask why and was told the recliner was out of stock and I could set up delivery for the following Monday. That Monday came around and nothing. Turns out that was the day it came into the warehouse and they took it upon themselves to reschedule the delivery day for a day I was going to be out of town. When changing the date AGAIN, I was told the person who did it would call me, never received a call. During this purchase I was told I would get rebates I could use on my bill, after jumping through multiple hoops to get those rebates, I'm now being told that I can't apply them to my bill. That was the only reason I bought from Ashley. I will never be buying from them again. The entire experience was terrible. I also didn't find out until my first bill that they added a protection plan that I was not told or even asked about and I definitely did not want.
Friendly and helpful service. No one hovering but there when we had a question. Can't wait to get our chairs. Great sale price!

When we arrived we were approached immediately by a kind lady(Nancy K.). She directed us to the children’s section since we were in the market for a full bed frame and mattress for my son. I found exactly what I was looking for. The purchase and delivery set up was painless. Highly recommend!
ZERO STARS - THEY OWE ME STARS!!! We had a wonderful sales experience with Greta at the Geneva, IL location. HOWEVER, our delivery and customer service experience on the receiving end were HORRIFIC. After 12 weeks we received 2 BROKEN peices. The chest of drawers was scratched up and had a broken drawer rendering it unusable. The other dresser had loose hardware that was stripped and unable to tighten. It took another week for the delivery of the replacement chest of drawers and it was broken upon arrival - they didn't even bother bringing it in. Also, the tech never showed to fix the hardware. We called back and made 2 more appts which we were told would be confirmed. The confirmation for the replacement peice is another 2 weeks out. We never recieved a confirmation for the tech so we called back and they have no record of the request. When I addressed how terrible this experience was, I was hung up on. Then, we mysteriously received a singluar drawer, with no hardware, in the mail. We have zero need for this drawer. I'm never shopping at Ashley again (Sorry Greta, you were great)!!

Horrible management within customer service. I scheduled for delivery to be on 1/11 and got told the warehouse forgot to load my furniture so I needed to reschedule for 1/19 date. I already sold my current set seeing that my new one was supposed to be delivered on the date scheduled. Got told that they could request an earlier date but it’s not guaranteed. Absolutely ridiculous since it was not my error and was completely the warehouse’s issue.

The selection is good but our sales associate forgot to take our discount off. The difference was refunded to us but then we found that the price was even cheaper online. We went back to the store and another refund for the difference was issued. Do your research before walking in there!
We were in the market for some barstools and a new headboard. Ryan greeted us at the door and directed us throughout the store. We found what we were looking for and a few extras. Ryan checked us out and got us on our way. We got home and had a question about our purchase. We called Ryans phone and left a message. He called us a couple of hours later. He said that he had gotten off of work right after we left the store and he just wanted to make sure we didn’t have a problem. Dedicated employees like Ryan, are far and few between.

I appreciate he introduced himself and then let us look around a bit before we were ready to settle on the couch we wanted. Ashley furniture is by far the worst store I have done business with. Not even at a store level but a customer service level. I cancelled an order I paid cash for, and was told I would have to wait for a check in the mail. First check was lost, was advised a second check was mailed. Still no check in the mail! Refund was processed October 10th it’s now December 30th and I still am out $561 from these crooks at Ashley furniture I have contacted Derek the manager and multiple people at the corporate level and no one has any idea what happened and where my money is. May be time to get an attorney Worst Worst place I have done business with
Went to the Geneva location today and Greta Davis is the absolute best!! She helped me find great furniture for my new townhouse within my budget. The variety and quality at Ashley was also very nice!! I had a lot of options for my price range!
Service was great, Dan was helpful and got us a great deal. Store was clean, and making a purchase was easy and there was no pressure to buy anything that wasn't needed.

I will never shop at Ashley furniture again. I ordered a couch in June, which they told me would take 3-4 weeks to be delivered. It’s almost January and I still don’t have a couch. After time and time again of contacting and going to the store, this couch was actually on backorder and there was no delivery date in sight or date of when it will be in stock. Customer service and communication is terrible and I can’t seem to get a clear answer from anyone, and if I do, I have to sit on hold for an hour before I can talk to someone. I have lost my trust in Ashley furniture. They seem to have no issue taking my money, but can’t provide me a clear answer on when my furniture can be delivered.
Saleswoman was wonderful, but delivery has been delayed month after month. I purchased back in September and they just told me I’m not getting my couches until February 2021!!!! Had to sit on lawn chairs for thanksgiving and Christmas...
Great experience, very helpful staff. Blake was very kind and accommodating with helping me find my new couch! -- My initial review was hopeful and excited. After waiting months with no updates or contact with Ashley furniture store about my order except when I finally contacted them I've changed my feelings about them. I eventually contacted them to cancel my order then finally got a shipping update. I was told they would drop it off outside my door on the third floor of my apartment- that was a lie. Then today I only received one piece of my sectional which I wasn't told would be the case. I will never order from Ashley furniture store again. Very disappointing. Hopefully I get the other piece eventually...
We did purchase our new mattresses here. Several issues processing our payment finally the temperpedic expert was able to help. Although we purchased from here was a much longer process than it needed to be. Staff needs better training but it’s a pandemic so gave them a break

Very nice place to shop. When there and got everything i needed for my new home. Update: i don't know was is going on with your delivery department but you have to get it right. I received a call 2 days ago that my mattress and adjustable base will be delivered today between 1.30pm and 4.30 pm. Today i receive a message saying my delivery is on its way. At 4pm i check the status and it said delivered. I call customer service and they told me they place a request and i will receive a call. No body call me. I called again and the lady told me i will receive a call tomorrow and was laughing over the phone. I spent a whole day at home although i could have gone to work. This store has great stuff but when it came for delivery is a nightmare. I still have 4 other furniture that im expecting from them but I'm thinking of going there and cancel everything.
Don’t buy from Ashley, my grandma urgently needed a bedroom set, this was back in Memorial Day, pay in advance, the sales woman verbally said they only had 2 parts of the set in stock which they can delivery in 2 week but she had to wait for the rest because of “COVID” they give her a date for November and nothing, now they say to wait until February, come on we understand delays, but then don’t take money first, they are selling something they don’t have. Really disappointing.

Customer service was excellent. 30% off all items purchased for Black Friday. Edit: We didn’t receive our furniture for 7 Months after purchase. We bought a nice couch, love seat, ottoman, dining bar table with stools, and a large mirror that leans against the wall. The ottoman cushion was semi lopsided when we received it, but we didn’t think anything of it and thought that it would be fine after some time. Fast forward a year, this cushion is extremely lopsided after normal use. I’ve included a picture. We submit a claim to the service department and we’re told that this would never happen unless we were misusing the piece of furniture. They suggested we had been sitting on the ottoman for extended periods of time. The service department said there was nothing they are able to do as this would NEVER happen by just using your feet on it. Granted I’m 220 lbs and don’t just sit with my feet flat across the ottoman. Hands down, one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Thankfully we got 30% off though!! You get what you pay for. Avoid Ashley Furniture at all costs!! Edit: I filed a complaint through the better business bureau (BBB) and was contacted immediately by an Ashley representative. After explaining the whole story, they were magically able to replace the ottoman.

First, I have to say how amazing Greta Davis is from the Geneva, IL location is, she is so personable and kind! I have never felt so helped and welcome as she made me feel! It was my very first time buying any furniture and I have to say I couldn’t have done it without her. And I love the fact that she didn’t try to pressure me into anything, was just happy to help me when I needed her! The store in general has such a great feel! We all need this with the world we are loving in right now! Words can not explain on how happy I am right now and it’s because of this company and the wonderful people they employ. I will definitely be referring her and this store to others!
We ordered a couch at the beginning of July and was told it would be here in 6-8 weeks. I get a notification that it will be delivered Sept 15. But the couch never comes. I call and they give me a date of Oct 15. Oct 15 comes and no couch. I call and they guarantee it will be there Oct 21. Date comes and no couch. I call back and they once again guarantee it will be there Oct 27. I call on Oct 28 and they say they are missing one piece of the couch but it should be in by Nov 11. Nov 10 I get an email confirming delivery for Nov 12 with a delivery time frame. The morning of Nov 12 comes and I get a tracking link. I look at the link and one piece of the couch is not listed in being a part of the delivery. I call and they tell me that one of the pieces is still missing and they usually don’t deliver partial orders unless they get an okay (which we never said it was okay). They have no idea where the other piece of our couch is or when it will come. Each time I called it was a call center that took 20 min for someone to answer and half the time I would get disconnected and no one would call me back. Everyone I spoke to said they were writing in our notes the details of what was going on and we would be refunded shipping and someone would be in contact with us regarding our order. We have not been refunded and no one has contacted us. I understand covid is slowing things down but the promises and lack of communication is unacceptable and unprofessional. I tried calling the store but it goes to a call center. The fact that my couch is just missing and no one contacts me or seems to know what is going on is not okay.
Staff was very polite and not pushy at all. Answered all our questions and when it came time to purchase they made sure to get us the best price.
Greta was AMAZING!! She was attentive, understanding, patient, and very knowledgeable for what my wife and I were shopping for and what parameters we were putting out there. She knew what we were looking for, and didn’t try and “push” any items or themes that we were definitely not interested in. Her professionalism and personal approach to being focused on her customers will keep us coming back again and again. The furniture Ashley sells is great! It’s not a Walter E. Smith, but neither is the price tag! Very realistic and reasonable for all levels of budget.
Furniture was really nice but you have to be vigilante about calling and checking and confirming and checking your delivery date. Never received my order on the date I was told when I called to track it. Found out it was on back order for months ( no one had called to let us know that ) when I asked who had dropped the ball the manager matter of factly let me know he couldn’t go back in time to see who I had spoken to since they get soooo many orders a day. I expressed how livid I was that as a manager he wouldn’t want to know who had confirmed my order as recent as 3 days ago, and that I’d like to come to the store for a full refund. At that point I was told that he’d be happy to give me a full refund on the phone but me coming to the store just so I could yell and Scream was me being petty. I get it. I’m just one customer that they can’t be bothered with after messing up my order but that’s one customer that’s going to think twice before going to any of their stores. That’s just my personal experience. I’m sure In the future if I do shop there and my delivery is on time and the customer service is great and I don’t get called petty, on that day I’ll give them 5 stars and write a raving review. That day is not today
We ordered a couch and were told 4-6 weeks for delivery. It's 4 weeks later and I've heard nothing. When I finally called today, I was on hold for 16 minutes and finally told oopsies they won't deliver it for maybe 4 extra weeks. A couch-less Thanksgiving. Customer service is garbage here.
Avoid by all means unless you want to put down a full price for your expensive purchase and wait forever for it to be delivered.
I went in yesterday to look for furniture (of course!) The showroom was so clean. We were greeted upon entering and had Ryan, a salesman come over right away. He gave us time to look around, told us the deals going on and gave plenty of suggestions. Would definitely recommend buying from this location.

Our experience has been very frustrating. We ordered a coffee table and end table a month ago. We understand there are delays, but no one had informed us that our pieces were on back order. In fact the first time I called, the person at the store told me they were in stock, just did not make the truck. I called back again, and I was now told they were not even in the warehouse. Very frustrating! Don’t think I will be going back again. Also, don’t even bother using the option to call about a delivery. The phone just rings until it hangs up. You always have to dial 3 to get someone in the store. What’s the purpose of even directing customers to try another number?
We had a very pleasant experience!! We walked in the store and were not swarmed by a group of sales associates! We walked around the store looking at love seats in various fabrics!! In our mind we knew what we wanted, but felt it was time to ask for the help of an associates. She showed us fabrics and explained their durability!!! She was honest and told us it would probably take 8 weeks for delivery because of the pandemic! The associate told us the different financing options and politely answered our questions and rang up our purchase!! No pressure!! Just helpfulness!!!

I went in the store today just to browse not really thinking I would be placing an order. Nancy was a big help and helped me find a sofa that feels like a big fluffy sweater with delivery in just two weeks! Which is amazing because we ordered from another store in June and the delivery keeps getting pushed back a month, so frustrating. I cancelled that order, and I am excited for the new sofa to be delivered we have been without furniture since June! ( I understand delivery is slow because of COVID, but still frustrating) So excited Nancy was able to help us out!
Our salesperson, Nancy, was excellent! We no doubt will be back when we need a new couch. Update 9/26/2020: Ashley's Customer service phone numbers are awful. I have called the local store number and the toll free number a total of 10 times this morning and 7 of the times I was disconnected by them without talking to anyone and the other 3 I hung up after 10+ minutes of waiting. All I wanted to know was the status of our mattresses that we purchased on 8/19. The last time I was able to get through on their customer service line, which was 9/17, they said both mattresses should be arriving in their warehouse on 9/23. I gave them the next two days to call me to set up a delivery time, but I have not heard from them. They need a way for the customer to be able to check the status of their in store order online if they refuse to answer the phone.
WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM THE THIEVES AT ASHLEY! We purchased and paid for a bedroom set on 7/5/2020, promised delivery was the end of July. We received all pieces as scheduled except the bed. After the delivery men left we discovered one drawer of the dresser was damaged. No big deal we have 48 hours to report any damage. So, 30 minutes after the delivery I called customer service and told the "agent" that a drawer was damaged, she implied that we must have damaged the drawer, strike 1. After I sent her photos of the drawerful r only then did she agree to replace it. Then she told me "I dint know when you will get a replacement and I should call back in two weeks to find out", strike 2. The bed was scheduled to be delivered on 8/8/20 and was confirmed by their delivery department the day before. That day we waited for the delivery and guess what, no show, no call, strike 3. After several attempts we finally got someone in customer service and they told us that the bed was “on backorder”. How could that be when just the day before they confirmed the delivery? The “agent” said, "Oh, parts of the bed were damaged". We asked, were the phone lines damaged at the same time because no one called to inform us that the delivery had been canceled, strike 4. Still, we gave them one last chance...now the bed to be delivered on 8/15/2020. Meanwhile we received a replacement drawer for the dresser, guess what, doesn't fit, strike 5. Cancelled order 8/8/2020, the manager at the Geneva store hung up on us when we called to cancel! Still waiting for our refund more than a month later. Filed BBB complaint. Salesman was Blake Timze, good for nothing and lied to us, horrible customer service reps, rude and disrespectful manager of the store, her name is Jennifer. Don't buy from these thieves!

I visited the Ashley furniture store in Geneva, or Batavia.. I had the most pleasant experience.. I was approached by the most outstanding friendly sale person name Blake,.. Blake, personality is impeccable you can’t help but to purchase.. He is very friendly, knowledgeable as a store sales associate with furniture updates of the in’s and out of the store and what’s in stock and what need to be ordered. Blake informs you when there’s a special sale that will be offered to customers.. as well as offering you to apply for the Ashley credit card with 0% interest for a year. Amazing sale guy! 👏🏽 Blake, communicate with me for about a week assisting me on the right bedroom set that was perfect for me base on what I mentioned I was searching for, Blake pulled it up instantly! I purchased a beautiful king size bedroom set that had amazing price with a percentage off! Thanks Blake for your wonderful sales knowledge and services! Ella
We have purchased furniture twice from the Ashley store in Geneva. They have an amazing showroom with knowledgeable staff who always answer our questions and make sure we get the best pieces. Their prices are reasonable and I love the quality. I’m happy with the selection and almost always find what I’m looking for. We will most likely continue to purchase from them in the future.

Our salesman, Blake, was amazing. His knowledge of each furniture line, details, what may or may not work in our home (pets), was spot on. What nearly lost the sale was his co-worker (Nancy?) who had to be reminded more than once, to put her mask up over her face. As a customer that works in a medical clinic, I spend 8 plus hours a day trying not to be infected by COVID -19. Shopping for furniture shouldn’t make me worry that I might die. She did not even enforce her customer contact, letting her potential customer try his recliner with his mask around his chin. I am so completely disgusted that Blake had to tell her more than once (thank you Blake!) to put her mask over her face. Hmmm... I’m a customer being required to make an appointment AND wear a mask during my visit, but sales people are not monitored.
Worst service ever!!! I will never shop here again. I wasn’t told that my bed furniture would be sent separately it took over a month for each item to come and I still don’t have everything. Also I could never get a hold of anyone from customer service and when I finally did they would give me a later date I’m done I’m canceling my order.

I ordered two couches and a bed frame from Ashley home furniture on July 7th 2020 and when I ordered I was given an estimate time of delivery to be six weeks. Fast forward to today September 11th 2020, 66 days since I ordered and about two weeks since I moved out they finally delivered a bed frame and only one couch. After calling and being on hold for half an hour they told me the other couch will come October third. If I knew the customer service and the wait time for basically almost essential furniture I would’ve never ordered from here and rather got those things somewhere else.
Our trip to Ashley furniture was great. We were greeted at the door but not stalked around the store like so many other furniture stores where they just follow you. Employees were very nice and helpful and the prices seem reasonable. We will definitely return in the future.

We were shopping for a new kitchen table and chairs and chose Ashley because we've bought furniture from the company several years ago. Blake was our salesperson and gave us our space as we tried to decide between a few choices. He is very knowledgeable about the products and very personable. We found what we wanted and are happy with it. Very nice store in Geneva, bright and well laid out. An 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.

My sister and I were shopping for a new non rocking power recliner for our Mom and we found one at the store in Geneva IL. Dawson was conscious of our time frame and was able to accommodate our dilemma, we ran into a bit of a snag and Dawson even contacted me in the evening after store hours on his dime to fill me in on the situation with options. I for one know Dawson went above and beyond, I will plan to go there very soon to purchase our livingroom set. Great Customer Service is hard to find these days so treat him good. If I could give it negative stars I would. People at this location were great to work with, Ashley overall was horrible. We ordered and paid upfront for 6 items and ALL were delivered damaged and 1 came out of the box damaged. Even the replacement item for the desk that came out of the box damaged was damaged. Absolutely horrible to work with in resolving any of it. Will never buy from Ashley again and will spread the word about our experience. Hate that we spent money on items that were damaged and no resolution because they have our money. You've been warned!!!

Clearly, it was not a team atmosphere and the lady behind the sales desk seemed put off by his questions. Many others sales people were just standing around and this was very disappointing while he was trying to do his best. This made the process was very slow and throughout the application, many times my personal information was left on a kitchen table in the middle of the sales floor and on his tablet. At one point I had to remove the paper application from the table and keep it with me. In this day and age, it should not take 45 minutes to receive approval for credit and having a paper application seems very archaic. I would suggest moving to a more private online internal process. This is also another training opportunity and management should be reviewing the process during the process. This is very concerning due to privacy laws and my own personal reasons. I am looking forward to receiving the great furniture that I purchased. It was a great price. Update.... After my review, I received a call from a representative from Ashley right away and he was very nice and was able to coordinate some of the furniture to be shipped. I received it about 2 weeks later. Unfortunately, they only delivered half my bed, so I cannot put my mattress on it yet. Today I received a text that the rest of my furniture will be arriving Sept 1. Yet, I have receive multiple text messages that my furniture would be here August 17, August 25th and now Sept 1. I called the delivery customer service asking if there was any possibility to get it sooner and I was told no. I understand delays with Covid, but I purchased this on July 3. I was hoping to enjoy it while family was in town. I have since bought other furniture elsewhere and have received it within the time frame specified. Disappointing.
Clean, friendly staff. Not over bearing or pushy. Very quick check out. Helped me find the best price. Wasn’t happy that the lady behind the counter that was helping my sales associate wouldn’t keep her mask up. And if it was, she didn’t cover her nose with it.

This has been the WORST couch purchase I have ever experienced! The couch that was delivered had the wrong pieces and needed to be exchanged for the correct one, that was 3 months ago. I've had 2/3 of couch and horrible customer service. I have to contact the representative to get an update on when it will be delivered and this keeps getting pushed back to no available date. I finally got a hold of manager after hours upon hours of wasted time on hold and was given the option to return. The return/pick up request still has not been submitted and everyone I speak with tells me that someone will get ahold of me and no one ever does. While I write this I just spent 27 minutes on hold to speak with a customer service agent who said please hold after explaining my situation and she sent me back to the main menu. Giving this one star because there's nothing less to choose from.
Our experience was not good. After getting 3 different couches delivered, because each one had multiple issues, from broken frames, to sectionals that won't connect, to over and under stuffed cushions. It was all a mess. 3 months, 3 couches, no luck. Ashley furniture is quick to sell and helpful when buying but if you have any issues you can't get anyone to pick up a phone, call you back, nothing. Even tried calling their corporate store, who after 1.25 hours on hold, hung up on me. Going to sell this couch through private sale at this point since they refuse to just give us our money back and will be sure to never go to Ashley furniture again.
I purchased a sectional from Ashley HomeStore on Randall Rd Geneva, IL on 7/22/2020. My saleswoman was Greta. The sectional I wanted was being offered from Nick's furniture / Curly's Furniture for about $400 cheaper and with a 8 week stock time due to COVID-19. I let Ashley HS know that stocking time was the most important factor of my purchase, as I have just bought a new home and have no furniture. I presented this information to my saleswoman Greta, who offered to price match and promised that they could have in stock within 4 weeks. (Text message proof), as long as I came in that day and made the purchase. (which I did). 2 weeks have gone by, and I reached out to Ashley Homestore to see if I could get a tracking number or update on my sectional. I was then told my sectional is expected to be stocked mid October to early November. (12-16 weeks) from my purchase date. 4X the amount of time I was PROMISED by my saleswoman Greta. I reached back out to Greta, who then tried to tell me that she never said 4 weeks and that would never happen. After I presented her the text in which SHE offered the 4 weeks, she told me that she must have "misread" the stocking time or that it must have changed after my purchase...(yeah, ok). This company and the sales group at this store are taking advantage of customers by making empty promises on things they have no intention of backing up. They will lie to you solely to get a sale and are taking advantage of COVID excuses to get out of the promises they made, fully knowing that COVID is going on, yet they will charge you and accept your money within moments. Unless this is made right, or solved, I will never be purchasing Ashley furniture again, ESPECIALLY from the Geneva store, or from their sales team. UPDATE: The reply below asked me to send an email with my order info. I did that. Then I received a call, that I unfortunately missed from the Ashley Homestore response team. The woman (Sharon), left a voicemail asking me to call back so that we can straighten this mess out. I have since called back 6+ times and have left 2 voicemails over the course of 6 days since I received the first call. WITH NO RESPONSE!!!! After complaining AGAIN, the response team reached out and said they pinged (Sharon?) and the response team. That was last Friday. All I can say is that this company continues to make me feel like a moron for paying them in full and believing they would come through with their end of the purchase. Even getting support through this company is a joke. I WOULD ADVISE YOU ALL TO TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO A DIFFERENT FURNITURE STORE! Unless you enjoy being walked over and taken advantage of from the Sales team/Support Team/Inventory Stocking team.

Purchased (2) bar stools from this location in Geneva on July 24.. I have never had such a difficult time reaching a business in my life. I have called the store number directly and sat on hold for more 30+ minutes, just trying to reach someone about a text sent to me that my order was delayed indefinitely due to COVID. I am still on hold trying to reach someone, now approaching 45 minutes listening to recorded message. I have also been disconnected 3 times by their system while on hold, very frustrating and poor customer service. This is a bad experience for sure!
The service in store was excellent. I would have given 5 stars. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the estimate of delivery has more than doubled. I was informed that I will not have delivery until three months after order. Really disappointed.

Do not waste your money here. Early June2020 we walked into the store and purchased a couch. We were told 2-3week delivery. 3 weeks go by and I call and they say the earliest delivery date is 28July2020 so I agree to this understanding COVID. But the employees are promising the product well knowing the delivery date is way off! About 17July2020 I receive another text from Ashley furniture stating September2020 will be when I can set another delivery so they didn’t have it ready for the 28July2020 and now telling us another two months!! I call Ashley furniture immediately after receiving that text and they hung up the phone twice and third time I got someone on the line and then she tried to explain to me only half the couch is ready and the other half won’t be ready until Sept2021!!!! Another year wait and I asked how does that make sense to you??? She put me on hold and came back and I said I want to cancel the order and get my money back. She put me on hold again then said someone will contact you in 24-48hrs for cancellation then hung up! Nobody called me in that time and then I got a text saying due to COVID we are not sure when your couch will be ready! I went to the store to cancel in person and get my money and I was told 5-6 days. It has been 6 days now and I still have not received my money back! Do not go here! I found the same couch at half the price at a different store!!! I have already been redirecting others not to buy from here. Complete waste of time and very unprofessional. This company is a scam and should be shut down... Feel free to contact me Ashley furniture and I will provide you with all the texts your company sent me and failed to deliver the product and you still have my money..
The store has a tremendous selection and our Salesperson (Dan) was very helpful, not pushy when pointing out all available options including 12-36 months free financing currently available.

Worst experience ever! The female manager was extremely rude as she was challenged on pricing that they messed up on, calling us days later to tell us that it was more then the sale price, she got angry and hung up after her boss had to be contacted to let us know they would honor the price that we were given. We were told that we would get the furniture July 3rd, then got pushed back to the end of July, pushed back again to beginning of August, to now just got a text that we will get it August 28th. No one has answers, we keep getting the run around or hung up on. We had come into the store location a few days prior to pick everything out as we were closing on a house. Jake the salesman put everything into the computer and saved it so that when we came into the store to purchase everything (over $4,000) he said it would be a 10min process because we were approved for your zero percent interest card. That 10min process turned into an hour and a half as he kept going back to ask questions to his colleagues that were all standing around along with his boss. Not to mention they left out some paperwork we had to sign so we had to go back again to sign. Here about 2 months later still no furniture. Customer service is terrible, we will never shop here ever again!

Great experience, been to this location multiple times within the last month to make sure we picked out the right furniture, we worked with Greta she was very efficient and got us the best deal on a whole ton of furniture, they have taken all measure for the safety of there employees and customer with proper PPE and hand sanitizer. A year and a half after I spent a lot of money, I have a power recliner that quit working and I am getting the absolute runaround with different parties pointing fingers at someone else. It's quite astounding that a company of this size could have such poor after sale support when repair is needed. I won't spend money here again. Shameful. You would think they would want to provide good service to keep customers. Apparently I have been mistaken. UPDATE (August 2023). Same issue popped up. The local store refuses to help and again points fingers at others. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ashley Home Store is always a great place to shop. I say "always" because I've bought multiple pieces of furniture from them (dressers, chairs, bedroom sets, etc) at different points in time. The sales people are pleasant, knowledgeable and honest. There is no shady sales games at Ashley. Prices are reasonable. It is my go-to place for my family's furniture needs.

Never again! Do not order from this company! Paid for outdoor sofa and was told at time of purchase delivery would be June 9th, three days before, they cancelled and said it's now not in stock! Two weeks after ordering! They told me delivery is rescheduled for today...never heard from anyone. I've called the customer service line, delivery line and our local store...no one will answer the phone!! But local from Walter E...way better customer service! This company is garbage!

I took the day off work today for our bedroom delivery. I called to see what time would arrive only to find out they were not coming. The furniture was not in stock (but it sure was on the website to purchase a month ago!). They said they called on June 16 and left a voice mail that they would deliver it on July 21. We never got that call, voice mail, or confirmed that was a day that would work for delivery. My day off was for nothing. They lied. And that date that they randomly chose for us is extremely inconvenient. When I asked what they would do to fix the problem they said there was nothing they could do. I will never give them our service again. Run the other way!

I was issued $225 of in store credit gift cards that expire in July of 2020. I called in May of 2020 to redeem them towards a purchase and was told by the associate that Ashley is under new management and does not accept those cards any longer. He stated he check with management on how they could make this right for me and never followed up with me even after I contacted him a second time asking for a follow-up.
Sales people were great but pray you never need service. 4 phone calls and passed around. I will NEVER buy from them again.... customers need full support not sales support. This is less then 2 months old

Very nice. Good prices and nice selection. We were not looking for a new couch but we wound up buying one! Very pleased with the place since it was the first time I had really been in there since they opened at that location.
We went to buy multiple pieces for our new house and were reassured that our furniture would be delivered the following week. We signed up for the credit card to waive the $300 shipping ($300!) and purchased all of the items we needed. Our delivery date came and the morning of, reflected all of our pieces. An hour before, some how it changed and two accent chairs were somehow no longer available. No notice, no phone call, nothing. We discovered it on our own which was aggravating but we let it go because the call center promised it would be delivered a few days later, on Saturday. Delivery guys came and walked through my house and all over my brand new white rug with their shoes on. How disrespectful and rude is that? For a $300 delivery, they should be in booties and everything. Then, they brought in a piece of furniture that was so beat up, it looked like they threw it in the back of the truck. After refusing to accept it, the customer service told us we could have it delivered on Saturday as well and to call in the morning. We call today to be told that delivery was being pushed back yet another week for all three pieces. My husband called to talk to the manager of this store, Asia, and she LAUGHED at him before canceling the order. I’m sorry but how unprofessional can you be? What a terrible way to represent your company and store. We won’t be returning and I encourage everyone else to do the same. There’s a reason it was always dead inside.

Nancy K. was amazing! I have bought from Ashley HomeStore in Naperville before so I decided to go again. The service was horrible. Long story short we sat around for an hour before even being helped. I was told a price for a couch that we agreed on. I asked about the price three times just to make sure I knew exactly what I was going to spend. Our rep had to leave so they set us up with another rep. When I'm ready to give them my debit card the price of the couch went up $500. They were rude so I walked out. I will not be going to that location again. I decided to try the Geneva location before I gave up on Ashley altogether. I walked in, Nancy came right up to me and got me what I wanted at the original price (that was listed online!) and had me out of there in a half hour. She's a gem. Very knowledgeable. Very helpful. Understanding. And fast. I will for sure be going back to the Geneva location in the future. Thanks Nancy!!!

The couch we purchased was a great deal but, the sales staff and manager were unbelievably rude. If the price hadn't been so good, we would have left. I'm thinking about getting the loveseat to match the couch, but will be making that purchase online so that we don't have to deal with the staff at this store. I normally don't level negative reviews, but when I shared this story with friends they told me they had similar treatment at the Geneva store too. I hope the store takes an honest look at how they work with folks.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who is disabled. She purchased a bed frame from Ashley furniture on 11/29/19. She realized that the footboard comes out too far and the drawers are not covered. This is a hazard for her as she is disabled. She scheduled a service call for 12/2/19. The service technician came and did not do anything to fix even temporarily the problem, but told my mom the store would be in contact with information. Over a month later they still had not contacted her. She called and spoke to the "store manager" Asia. Asia told her that she did not have clearance to fix the issue so she would have to call her back. When she called my mom back she essentially told her there is nothing she can do, and that she could not even return the bed frame because it had been in her home, even though my mom called as soon as she realized the issue and it is not her fault that they did not call her as they said they would for over a month. My mom then asked to speak to her supervisor and Asia told her that he would "maybe be in the store on Thursday, but it was not guaranteed." She refused to give her a phone number to call or offer to have him call her. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience for my mom who just wants to be able to sleep in a bed without worrying she may get caught in and hurt herself. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to report this and will be letting any and all disabled persons we know that Ashley Homestore is not disabled friendly.
Needed a new bed and mattress and decided to give Ashley a try. I was astonished at the collection of styles they had on the showroom floor. The sales staff was attentive (Dan) and did not rush or pursue me. Since this was my first time here and also my start of bed shopping I was not in a hurry. Found exactly what I wanted in a queen bed and sealy hybrid mattress. Since this was a substantial purchase I left and decided to make a decision over lunch. Went back....and am now the recipient of a BEAUTIFUL, stylish, and most comfortable bed! I recommend Ashley Furniture and Dan the sales rep.

I normally dont leave reviews but I had to make an exception in this case. If I could take away stars I would. I bought a couch through their black Friday sale in November! Over a month and a half ago and I still haven't recieved the couch yet. I waited a month for the first delivery date and it was delayed, the customer rep wouldn't tell me why. The next delivery date was scheduled for the following friday which means I had to take time off of work for it to arrive. It was delayed AGAIN until the follow sat. December 28th. Now I'm being told they screwed up the delivery date and it's now arriving on the 30th on a monday which means I have to take time off work for a second time!!! I finally went into the store and they told me that the shipping department damaged the couch twice. This is an absolute joke at this point and I'm starting to feel like I'm being targeted. Do not buy from these people, go anywhere else. This place is an absolute joke.
I would give 0 stars if this were an option. Since Ashley has sold to a Private equity their Custmer Service is terrible. Just passing me off to the store and the store passing me off to their Customer Service. I have left messages and emails with no response with the manager. I will not be making any future purchases with Ashley in the future.

Purchase a sectional spend $3700 told we would get the couch in 3 days except the arm less chair and the wedge got the wedge a month after and still waiting for the one arm less chair 2 months later we called and ask and they can’t even give us a date should’ve told us they didn’t have it before we bought it also they never called and told us it was going to take longer we had to call when they deliver the wedge and nthe arm less chair was missing so unprofessional currently in the market for a bedroom set and I won’t buy from them ever again
Worst experience I have ever had buying furniture. Late delivery’s, damaged furniture, incorrect orders, Bridget and store manager Jennifer are basically useless. Couldn’t even get the return worked out correctly. Had to file a dispute with the cc company to get anything done. Won’t ever buy Ashley again.
The worst experience I have ever had in my life buying furniture, and I have bought a lot in my life. Nothing but awful, from the salesperson to still trying to get something replaced since August 1 headache after another. TERRIBLE customer service, and worse quality. I have been treated terribly from the beginning through today. This started Iin August, and has been ongoing since then. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney general since not 1 person from the store to corporate cares at all. The corporate office did not even care that I was filing a complaint I will never step.foot in an Ashley store again. I would give them negative stars but it's not possible.

Our first visit to Ashley in Geneva, IL. Veterans Day Sale, many items huge store and displays. Spent the evening looking at Dining Sets, enjoyed meeting Jake Mayon and Blake also looked at future purchases living room sets, recliners, lamps and end tables. Very nice store and staff. If you need quality furniture at competitive prices make sure you visit Ashley. They alos have a lot of financing options available some specials 48 month interest free.

It's been over a month since we ordered a bench that was supposed to take a week to be delivered. It has taken 5 phone calls and another visit to determine that they still have no idea where it is or when it will be delivered. Here's a fun fact, upon trying to cancel the order we were told that this could not be done until we actually received the item at which point we would then have to return it.... Which is still missing..smh

My fiance and I recently bought furniture from this store, and could not be happier with the service, pricing and quality! We previously owned a couch from another Ashley that was over 10 years old (still really in great condition, but it was definitely time for a swap). Everyone we worked with was super informative of their products. No one pressured us into buying anything, and they even gave us space to discuss what we wanted to do. They had a really great financing option available (5 years, interest-free), and the manager cut us a really great bundling deal for the items we bought. While we were able to pay for everything without financing, but it was really nice to be able to span out payments, not use a chunk of money up front, and will eventually just pay it off early. The delivery service was quite active in telling us when our furniture would arrive, and everything arrived on time and unscathed! The service techs put everything together for us swiftly and without issues. They definitely are kept busy, as we were their 10th stop on their route! I appreciate their effort and due diligence in providing top notch service, especially when they're piled up with work. We absolutely love our furniture and thank the staff at the Geneva Ashley Home Store for a wonderful, smooth experience. This place will be our #1 stop for all of our future home needs.

My experience with this store was excellent!!! I have to say after shopping around at several other furniture stores walking into Ashley in Geneva I felt a whole different energy! The salesperson did not pressure me or make me feel uncomfortable. I was given options that were actually printed out with my choices of payments-nothing shady or hidden like the other store. I felt the honesty and that they were there for me. The manager joined us and just "wanted to say hi and make sure our experience was review worthy"!!!! Great store, Great products, lousy customer service. I was told my shipment would arrive Friday. The shipment came missing my area rug. I was told the area rug would arrive the next Friday, nobody showed up. I was then told the area rug would arrive the following Friday, the wrong rug came. A 5x7 rug I didn't order showed up anyway. Every time I called (six times so far) the customer rep says they have taken care of the problem. I still haven't received my rug yet, it's been about one month and counting. I have spent hours on the phone and am at my wits end. Avoid this place.
Purchased a couch, dresser, bed frame, and two end tables. We have received all but one of the items in three separate deliveries. Deliveries have been delayed on two occasions. Today I found out that our dresser was left at the warehouse and there is nothing they can really do about it. We were supposed to receive this dresser on August 18, 2019. It is now August 31, 2019. Their customer service is on par with your average cable company. Insert scene from South Park. Edit Oct 1, 2019: We were contacted and received a new date for our dresser. The dresser came damaged. Still haven't received a new dresser. Going on 2 months without the dresser we were promised. Really recommend going somewhere else for your furniture needs.

The last time I was in the one by Route 59 in Naperville, no one acknowledged that I was even there, they lost a sale from me. My feedback to the staff there will be to be more aware of the people that walks in your store to provide a great customer experience, this is how you will earn there loyalty to your business.

Quality of furniture is wonderful. The process of receiving the furniture was very frustrating. Took over a month to receive our furniture, twice we had to have pieces be rescheduled due to manufacturer issues. Just overall not happy with our experience. Update: 08/31/19 I'm changing my review because this is just absolutely rediculous. I was supposed to finally receive the rest of my order only to receive one piece out of two. I now have to reschedule all over again, wait an additional week for my furniture. The representative told me that since the missing piece had not officially arrived but they had scheduled the delivery anyway that they went ahead and delivered the other piece regardless. I will never be purchasing from Ashley again.
I hope ashley furniture corporate is ok with store managers no longer being able to help customers. I ordered a table, waited two weeks for my table, took a day off of work having received confirmation that it was going to be delivered to find out at 1pm that day that the table will not be delivered because it wasnt even at the warehouse. All they could do was setup a new delivery date a week later. No refund or discount could even be discussed with the manager until the table was delivered. Table delivered, and now two weeks later i hear from the manager she has not heard back from her "ops manager" that she hopes to get the delivery fee back. $70 whopping dollars (after paying nearly $850 for the table and wasting a vacation day not to mention so many phone calls). so many promises made by this store none of which were met. Not even once did anyone from the store call me with an update. I only received an update when I called. all blamed on corporate rules. I'll never shop here again and at this point can't recommend this store to any of my friends as this experience was nothing but miserable. customer service is clearly not important to you or your store managers.
The girls working were absolutely no help. The only good thing was that they had a tape measure I could borrow. They seemed put off that I asked questions and that my son was playing with a fake spilled soda display. I was willing to spend $5k tonight, I took my business elsewhere where I spent more for the exact same furniture but had better customer service. I won't come back to the Geneva store.

What a wonderful store! My husband and I went in to buy a sectional and had a great experience. Not only did we find the perfect sectional, we received exceptional customer service. Dan was super helpful and knowledgeable, but best of all, not pushy or greedy. They have a great selection and great sales. We will definitely be back!

I am absolutely livid. My wife and I purchased a sofa from this store roughly 6 months ago. Around a month ago I sat on the middle cushion, and the support underneath broke. We purchased the extended warranty, so I wasn’t concerned. I called Ashley furniture and they sent out a technician to take a look at our couch. Apparently the technician determined the cause of our couch breaking was “customer misuse”. They couldn’t offer me an explanation as to HOW sitting on a couch is misuse. Now thanks to Ashley and their shotty furniture we have a pile of garbage in our living room that cost thousands of dollars. Oh, and to make the matter worse the technician removed the entire middle section of our couch, and didn’t even put it back! Don’t waste your money with this garbage company or their garbage products.

We walked around the store for 20 mins before anyone acknowledged us. But thats besides the point. We were looking to buy a new couch. Seeing as we moved from a small apartment to a house. The selection was drab and dark. The quality was on par with ikea.
Bought a couple items. Wanted to exchange NOT return one item because the color we needed ended up being different. Basically I'm stuck with it. Terrible customer service. I was willing to pay MORE to get the item I needed but that didn't matter to them. Needed another sofa, which I am getting elsewhere.
We would like to describe a pleasant experience we had at the Ashley Furniture Store in Geneva, Illinois. We are old people (80+) looking for furniture. We had looked at several other stores before shopping at Ashley. We met Deidre Petrik when we entered the store. We found a sofa/loveseat that we liked. Deidra took her time explaining the fabric and comfort of the pieces. We showed her pictures of the room where the set would go. She sketched a picture of the possible layout of the furniture. We were not sure if an additional chair would fit, but decided to order one anyway. She said if it didn’t work we could decline it at delivery. After the furniture arrived we called Deidre because we had questions. That night after work Deidre came over to check on the position of the furniture giving us help with the layout. With her professional eye for decorating the room turned into perfection. Since her visit we have ordered a second chair. When returning to her store she showed us a beautiful one of a kind end table that looks magnificent in the room. We have never had an experience this nice shopping for furniture. If you are in the market for furniture we highly recommend asking for Deidre. She is truly a decorator with lots of experience who is smart, patient, and honest. We purchased a queen mattress with adjustable height pad to go on our Ashley brand Porter Bed. The sales person measured everything and assured us it would work. We were treated horribly when the Ashley brand mattress and frame didn't work - by Jennifer the store manager. She refused to take the mattress back as a return unless we spent $150 to have a third party "pay by cash" driver pick it up and return it to the store from our home in North Aurora. Be careful with anything you buy there and make certain you spend a long time reading the fine print. Some of the **** reviews are written by our sales person below.
Linda Scott was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so patient as I went back and forth struggling to decide on which mattress I wanted. She was also very knowledgeable about the available products as well. I would highly recommend working with her for anything you are looking o purchase from the Geneva location.

Exceptionally happy to have an Ashley HomeStore closer to us! Even better is a sales consultant who doesn't hover or suggest unless asked. Mari was incredible! She knew right away that we would need little assistance, introduced herself and explained the what sales were currently going on. (President's Day!! Definitely a good time to hit up Ashley!) We almost immediately spotted the Marsilona island and dining set that was perfect for our farm house and Mari was on it! Literally, the quickest we have been rung up, set up for pick up and happily out the door- she even made sure to double check that a 7ft table with 8 chairs would fit in our home (which could understandably be overlooked in the moment and was awesome for her to double check so were weren't in a pinch come set up!) Over all, Mari has a great, fun personality with no a mumbo jumbo attitude (my favorite!!) We appreciate working with her and are very excited to receive our purchase!!!

I would give them zero stars if I could. Absolutely worst service and they couldn't care less about their customers. Never got the furniture we ordered after 4 delivery attempts, the wrong furniture is still sitting at my house, and still waiting for my refund.

Buyer beware. Just had a couch delivered an hour ago. It looks and feels different from store model. I also discovered a dirty handprint. Immediately called store only to be told I cannot return or exchange the item. Not even for a restocking fee. I will never do business with this company ever again and I will be sure to tell friends and family about the terrible customer service.

They listen to what I had to say about what I was looking for.. I was shown the types of recliner I was looking for. No pressure or up selling at time. Once I picked out the Furniture I wanted, they completed the sales paperwork and set up delivery for me. Ashley called to confirm delivery date and location. A few days after delivery I received a call from Ashley Furniture checking on delivery, sales staff and how I liked my purchase. I would highly recommend Ashley Furniture.

From greeter to salesmen to manager, I could not have been treated better from the moment I walked in. I never felt like I was being followed or harassed but when I had a question there was always someone available to grab my salesmen. The selection of sofas to choose from was far better than any other store we visited. I had to make a return trip to the store since I jumped the gun and purchased a sectional too big for the room and I have never had a return/exchange go so smoothly, in any store. Thank you to the entire store for a great experience and we will be returning next time we are in need of furniture.

If you go don't ask for Jessica she will sell you the wrong thing then argue about how your wrong. Ask for Ozzy he was great very insightful. The delivery process was garbage they put a whole in my wall then covered it with my new vanity mirror. Four tries it took to get my order right in deliver and my mirror was brought twice damaged. Jennifer was the manager who took care of us she was very helpful and did a great job trying to compensate for her sales rep (Jessica's) mistake.

The customer service is horrible. They called and gave me a 4 hour window and then called back and changed it. They time they changed it to was not right , they said it was a different time. I called and complained and the lady was rude she said she would get a hold of the driver and see if he could move my time. She called me back and said she talked to them and they would try and come later. When she went to say goodbye she started laughing on the phone. I was upset she was laughing at me. The driver called me and said he was at my house, I asked him if they called him to tell him to come later and he said no. So the lady on the phone lied to me. Luckily my neighbor came over and let them in. He told the driver there was a scratch in the leg of the table and he said it is supposed to be like that. He noted it and now I have to call and find out what they can do for me. The whole experience was horrible. I will never buy anything there again. If I could I would give them a 0 rating.
