We stopped in to look for a few different things, Kyle the salesman greeted us and was very pleasant letting us know of the sales going on, he was very informative and let us browse the store without bothering us,but was nearby when we did have a question. Dan the store manager introduced himself and answered any of our concerns. Great experience, we will be back.
The delivery team was polite, respectful of our property. They were prompt and efficient.
Terrible customer service. Sold us a base without the proper legs, which damaged our bed, manager promised me he would handle it and ignored my emails. Still haven’t been able to get it returned 3 months later as they apparently don’t take returns when its been their fault. Expect that they will never take a return even if it wasn’t because you changed your mind!! Definitely feel like we got duped/taken advantage of with our purchase.

Customer service is horrible. Bought a power base for our mattress from them, it damaged our bed frame. Customer service or management has not helped at all. Do you want to return something? Be prepared to be on the phone for hours with no results. We also bought a mattress from them that is eligible to be “swapped” within 90 days, bought a matress cover and everything. We are on the phone with the partner company that does the swaps and they are now telling us that our mattress is not eligible… over $9,000 spent on Ashley Furniture, and we will never shop there again. Stay away. Edit: When you call the number they provided below, you get put on hold for 45 min. They did not help what so ever.
Ashley has the best selection of furniture and our sales person was helpful and not pushy at all. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes with 2 rooms of furniture!

I bought a bed frame and mattress at this location. When my bed frame was delivered it was missing legs. I called this location multiple times and then called corporate. I then received a call that the legs of the bed frame would be delivered. Almost two months later I never received the legs to the bed and after calling multiple times and multiple voicemails my calls have been ignored and never returned. Also, when waiting for the furniture to be delivered the driver was 6 hours late.
Had the pleasure of working with Luis and David. Exceptional customer service. Made the process of buying new furniture easy. Would definitely recommend the Joliet store to friends and family.

I am completely disappointed with the customer service for Ashley Furniture. We purchased a couch back in January of this year was told that my concerns about the couch I was interested in purchasing had been resolved. Two months after owning this couch my concerns were realized and the cushions began to fray badly. Fast forward several months now of battling with customer care and store, they have refused to rectify my issue and have left me with a $3,000 couch that looks to be 10 years old. Be very wary of purchasing furniture from Ashley. Do your homework and don’t take their word for it. The response below is false. They do absolutely nothing when you text or call. This reply is a ploy to make you think they care. Don't believe it!

I had a good experience until the delivery day. We were told anywhere from 9:15-12:15. They didn’t arrive until 1:20. They were quick to put things together, and were ready to leave when I noticed that three of my four living room pieces had mud or some sort of stain on them. The guy asked me to get a wet rag and see if it would come out. If I hadn’t checked, they would have left without a word about it. Luckily, it came out (with help from my husband and some cleaning agent we weren’t even sure we should have been using on them). They need to take better care of customers as we are spending good money on furniture. Unacceptable.
Our experience was wonderful at the Joliet location. The assistant manager was terrific, very engaging, we told her what we were looking for and she found many options for us to choose from. We have always bought all our furniture from your location and have never been dissapointed.
If you purchase any furniture from here be careful on buying the protection plan.. they will make your life difficult. We’re having that experience even when paperwork says covers everything ! 👎🏽
I went in looking for sectional and found that Ashley’s had so many different options (more options then Bob’s Furniture, Room Place and some other furniture stores I went to). The sales associate was super sweet and helpful (not harassing at all). It was his 1st day off orientation so he was not able to answer all my questions but he immediately found the answers by either looking it up himself or asking his manager. Overall my experience was great and both the sales associate and store manager were super nice.
The assistant manager V made our whole experience seamless, quick and pleasant with 2 small kids! We will definitely be repeat customers!
Great Customer Service by, Kyle Kielma proceeded my order through the phone and was really helpful and kind.
We went in with the intentions of just browsing through some couches to see what they had. When we were approached by Mustafa, he was very informative and said if we had any questions to come see him. He never followed us around or hovered (like most sale places do) and never pressured us into buying anything. When we did show interest in a certain sofa, he showed us the quality of it and we were sold! We did leave to double check measurements but we made sure to return and get helped by him. Overall, had a very good experience there.

We bought an online item from the store itself. They were really helpful however when we put the item together the wheels were broken and we were instructed to call another number. No help from their customer service. Do not buy anything online because they don't backup their products.

Do not purchase from Ashley. They sold me a table and carpet at a "discount". Table was originally $799. The "sale" included the discount, which ended up being $40 higher than the price on their website--and another Ashley store. When I called for assistance, the Ashley operator told me, "Yes, the prices are cheaper on line then in the store. She also said they can't refund the difference. Seems like you would match your own price, when the purchase was made only two days prior. I will be taking my furniture needs to another company.
Called and left a voicemail inquiry about a dresser. The manager called me back within 2 minutes stating that it was in stock and offered delivery free of charge. Clear, concise, personable, done. That’s all a customer ever wants!

Nothing but a great experience, as David Watts (store manager) worked extensively with us to remedy a mattress choice that originally would not work for my wife with chronic medical and pain needs. He helped to arrange in-store trialing of various alternative options, and eventually setup a return/exchange. What could have been a very disappointing purchase situation was made “right” by his personal above-and-beyond customer service. Thank you!
Poor quality furniture lately. Our living room set didn’t even last 2 years with normal use. Both our sofa frames cracked/broke. Not good quality at all.

The bedroom set we ordered was later found on 1stopbedrooms. So I went in and they wouldnt price match! Same exact set offer as their own. Most likely never to shop Ashley again! A little disappointing!
Great selection, their credit card approval was easy and I was able to get a good deal, met with the manager and they were able to meet the free shipping and other discounts. We knew exactly what we were looking for so can’t say much on the sales associate. We got a sectional that is on back order, however it’s worth the wait.
Bought new couches and a bed from here yesterday. Tom was super helpful and accommodating. He was very patient with me (I wanted to sit on everything..twice 😂😂😂). Management was awesome! The couches were AMAZINGLY comfortable. Will be coming back soon for those rocking recliners that I reallllly wanted but had no idea what I was going to do with them. 🥰

I was pleasantly surprised with such great service. Everything went perfect . We went to Ashley picked out furniture with no issues or surprises. That's not common. Our salesman was Luis. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I really liked his sweet personality. The manager Michael was cleary paying attention to what was happening in his store. He was also very nice.

I bought a sectional at the Ashley in Naperville a few years back. Wanted to add a piece. Ordering pieces separately was not an option online. I went to the Ashley in Joliet as it is a bit closer. I watched as all 3 salesmen greeted and handed flyers to everyone who walked in the door. I walked around for half hour hoping for any kind of acknowledgement. I let the salesman know before walking out that I had been ignored. Not one apologized. The piece I needed was only $1600 but it took the Naperville store less than 10 min to order when I called.

If there is a negative number for rating I would give that but unfortunately 1 is lowest I had to give that. I had the worst experience with Ashely. Firstly they don’t have standard procedure to address customers issues and second of all they delay the process. They delivered a dinning table set in the month of December 2022 and I should call that product as refurbished NOT A NEW PRODUCT at all. Ever since till date that product issues were not addressed at all. The chair legs are unstable, material is poor quality, table latch is missing and many more to describe. Till date they did not address my issues and upon that they expect for the complete payment!? I highly don’t recommend their product at all!

Everything they said they had on Sale in the newspaper and online. They did not have any in store for you to look at all. They had was all sets. About $4000 are over and they were all very bad quality to go along with the bad customer service. I would never shop here.
The experience at Ashley Store was great! I had the pleasure of working with the store manager and he was very helpful with helping me decide on the perfect kitchen table set and furniture for my basement. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. My delivery is scheduled only a week and half out. I’m hoping I’ll be pleased when everything arrives.

Awful, Donna is rude and I believe because we are black she decided we were not important enough to assist. She needs to work on her communication and customer service skills.
The actual in store purchase was good. I was told in store to refuse the shipment for any pieces I may not want when the items arrived for set up. One piece needed to go back to the size. The salesman said that was the easiest process to receive a refund. I did exactly what I was told and the return process has been terrible. Customer service says they never received the item back. Then said it was lost in their warehouse or possibly never returned in general. Delivery drivers didn’t speak much English unfortunately and didn’t even want to take the item back when they arrived. They didn’t have me sign for anything. It’s been about 6 weeks and still haven’t received my refund back and even though I returned the pieces. Everytime I call customer service it’s a different story how the last representative didn’t fully fill out a form or there was miscommunication. I called this store directly multiple times spoke to a manager and he was no help. He told me he’d take care of it and never heard from him again even though he took my number down and told me he’d call me back.
I was honored to work with V. She was very professional and knowledgeable. The one thing that really sticks out to me is that she didn't follow me around the store. She gave me space to wander around a little and answered all the questions that I had. I will definitely be going back to the Joliet store!
The manager and someone else (maybe finance or assistant manager was very helpful. Salesperson was horrible. Maybe she just started but needed more supervision then. She said she asked someone else to help me as she was placing an order for another customer and I that salesperson knew nothing about it which leads me to believe she never told them. I would recommend your store but would tell them to stay away from salesperson.

I recently visited Ashley furniture in Joliet and was very pleased! I came in looking for a sectional, I found one that I absolutely loved but the price range was too high. I had a quote from another location and was upset because at the other location it was a different price. My sales associate Nicole Harvey did everything she could to help me be able to afford the couch. Nicole and the manager David went above and beyond! I was able to get the sectional that I was in love with! I will definitely be back when I’m in the market for new furniture. I can't say bad service since there was NO SERVICE AT ALL! There were several employees in the center of the store talking, we walked around for 30 minutes and not one single person ever said hi, hello, get the hell out, nothing! The exterior of the store was disgusting, the windows haven't been cleaned in years, the parking lot was in horrible disrepair and the landscaping was. Nothing but dirt. Horrible

My furniture was in stock when we ordered and scheduled the delivery, then they reached out a week before delivery to notify me my order was NOT in stock. I am still currently trying to schedule my furniture do be delivered and it’s a week past delivery date now. The communication issue is a problem because Ashley Furniture uses an automated text system to communicate with you, NOT a customer service associate. I chose Ashley because I THOUGHT they were a more respectable brand name than Bobs furniture, which I had this same problem with 3 yrs ago and would never go back. Guess I’ll be adding Ashley Furniture to that list as well.

We have Very bad experience. Once we will get our furniture they don’t reply us for our issue. Our sectional doesn’t attached. And there is one damage but no one follow up for that I complain about that on March 9 th still no reply.

Staff isn’t reliable. 2 years ago, my purchase invoice had an outdoor only furniture protection plan when I purchased a bedroom set at that time. Didn’t know this until I had to call in a claim and found out nothing was covered. It’s been over a month and they still haven’t resolved the issue. I’ve had more help with the phone customer service team than the managers in this store. Not once have they ever called me for a follow up on my issue. If you’re going to choose Ashley, go to another location.

Salesperson-Mac- was very 'salespersony'; hearing what he wanted to hear. Misleading in his communication. Not really answering my specific questions; just giving rote, unrelated answers. After we got past that and I was all set to get my items the same day-as I was told-the manager advised that the items were not available for couple months! Then when I agreed to that, under the impression that if I happened to change my mind between now and then, the cancelation request would be "no problem". Ptuh! It's been less so thus far- as, of course (wanting something sooner) I found something on their website- an online only item- that I preferred and ordered and should supposedly arrive sooner. Now, after calling the "store's phone number" and speaking to someone who is probably not even in the U.S....my request is "under review" and I should get contacted within 3days. Definitely not happy with this sneaky approach. I have furniture from other Ashley stores. Will not be returning to the Joliet location-unless my "refund request" (huge eyeroll) is not honored.
You can't order directly online, you have to call the store. Disconnected first call, second call placed order with Doug. Only way to order online with agent is layaway where they invoice via email to pay online. Check invoice, my address is wrong, I had stated it correctly twice. Called back to get it fixed and Alejandro says they can't, I'd have to go to the store with an ID to fix their mistake. I said to cancel it. He told me to hold because he needs approval to cancel my order. I told him I have stated I want it canceled and I'm not paying the invoice but I'm done holding and hung up. Go elsewhere.
My experience was amazing. My sales agent Craig Franco was so awesome, he listened to what I was looking for and my budget. I plan on going back for my Kitchen table.
We have been trying to get in touch with the manager, John, at the Romeoville store since our furniture was delivered at the beginning of March this year, to no avail. The store sent us the wrong chairs and we have been trying to get these returned to pick out other ones, which should have been a simple process, according to several customer service reps we have spoken to over the course of a month. E-mails never get responded to and phone calls to the store never result in a call back. We even visited the store and left our contact information for John, who was unavailable, to get in touch with us, but he never did. Calling corporate is useless as well, since they open tickets and escalate your complaint, but no one ever responds. Over 10 calls to customer service, corporate, and the Romeoville store, and no one seems to want to deal with the issue we are having. Our suggestion is do not purchase anything from Ashley Furniture because their customer service is non-existent. We are so disappointed in how we have been treated throughout the whole ordeal. They keep escalating your complaint to a "supervisor" or "manager", but no one ever follows up with the customer. We were past customers of Ashley and never had a problem, but we will never purchase another item from them again because, clearly, they could care less about their customers.

Always transferring you to the next agent, or placing you on holds so long you want to hang up. Usually, I dread going into a furniture store because the sales people refuse to leave you alone. This was our 3rd store today and our patience and our hope was almost on empty. The quality of the dressers had been less than impressive and the customer service had been even worse. We walked into Ashley not expecting to find either. Then enters Cory. He was friendly and engaging and gave us our space when we let him know that we were just looking. Once we made our decision, he was right there to assist us. He was professional and knowledgeable without being ridiculous like the other sales guy that was so loud and obnoxious! He was so much fun to talk with and he gave us the information we asked for and got us set up with a super quick delivery date. The girls at the check out were so friendly and warm to us that we felt like we had known them for years. We will absolutely be back to buy from Cory!!

Love how the internet works, i began receiving ads for the same table from other companies at a much lower price. It got me to look to see what the price was on Ashley's website. The website pricing is much lower than what I paid in store, by $300. I called customer service and was told to go to the store, went to the store and they said that because I have already gotten the furniture there is nothing they can do. They did send a request to corporate but I have not heard anything. I was going to be purchasing a bedroom set and living room furniture in the near future but won't be getting it from Ashley. All our other furniture has been purchased from them, so this is very disappointing. If you buy anything double check the online pricing first.

I was approved for a line of credit but had issues making a purchase online after speaking with at least 4 representatives. We decided to go into the home store to see if we could make the purchase. Although the purchase was a success, I was not treated like a valued customer but felt more like an inconvenience. I was made to feel like I was doing something illegal. They wouldn’t honor the online discount or free shipping even though the online purchase kept failing. I had a better, quicker experience at Bob’s online.
Go buy wholesale or better. Don’t buy from Ashley. The insurance a short term jive. Third party only covers limited features. Pretty much a used car salesman experience once you walk in. Weak company with a dying name.

Horribly unprofessional. I purchased furniture from this store and purchased the "protection plan." I call the protection plan people, get nowhere. I call the Ashley store in Joliet and request a refund for the protection plan. I am told someone will call me back. They never do. I get a hold of "Doug" who is a sales manager. Horribly unprofessional... won't even give out his last name. I ask who is the store manager. He won't even give me that individual's name. So here I am with broken furniture and Ashley furniture won't hold up their end of the deal by repairing the furniture. All I want is a refund for the "protection plan" and I will fix the furniture myself. I will never buy from Ashley furniture again over $280 of a scam "protection plan."UPDATE:-I don't know who "db" is, but here is the update. Everyone can see the game going on here. I have already reached out to the "protection plan" people and Ashley furniture three times, but you want me to provide my information yet again. Here it is; I emailed this information to the provided email address at 6:32PM CST on 1/2/23. All I want is a refund of the $279.99 for the scam"protection plan" and I'll fix my furniture myself.UPDATE: I emailed the info per the request on 1/2. 11 days later.... BUYER BEWARE!!!!!…Absolutely dishonest people our house caught fire and had to replace everything and needed furniture by December 1st so instead of buying what we wanted we bought a couple things that they said were available and assured us they would deliver by our move in date December 1st like bedroom sets for our kids and my wife and i and 2 couches. Needless to say they lied just to get a sale and the stuff was on back order . Luckily we didn’t purchase more and get screwed even more . They ended up screwing them selves out of us buying more furniture. The only thing good about this experience is we learned to never shop there and get what we want now not what’s available and spend the rest of the 80k insurance check somewhere else

The first delivery set up never showed. After many conversations I was told that I would get a better discount and free delivery. I had to wait another 2 weeks to get my furniture to find out tat I never received my extra discount and I had to pay for delivery. Which thile delivery guy put a big scratch in my foot. Where do I even begin!? Worst experience ever. We thought all was well at first. Briana seemed super helpful and knowledgeable in the store. Ordered furniture based on what we wanted and her recommendations for what would work in our space. Delivery time was faster than expected. This is where it all goes downhill. The Delivery guys put the wrong legs on the right arm sofa so it sits an inch lower than the wedge but didn't know why the two didn't line up. I discovered this after they left. The wedge is unfinished on the faces and we were never told this in the store despite saying repeatedly it would be open and showing our Floorplan to Briana about how everything would be situated. This was how the lengths would work and she simply agreed it would be fine. Not a word about it being unfinished. Our old sectional is finished on all sides so we never dreamed this would be an issue. Then the separate sofa she recommended that "matched" is a different fabric than the sectional so it doesn't even match. Everything looks atrocious. Then I called customer service because the delivery people say their hands are tied (which I get) and they say they don't accept returns at all. They will schedule to fix the legs but basically we can swap out for a different piece if there's a defect but that's it. Then you Tru to call the store and cannot talk to anyone. Nobody answers the phone you just get automated machines. What a nightmare. I'm going to have to drive to the store to try to remedy this. And there's a nice big black scuff on one of the white ottomans.

Very poor customer service. They deliver damaged furniture and it is taking months to get an exchange. I have been waiting almost 5 months now for an exchange for the damaged piece of crap that was delivered. Lesson learned to make sure to fully inspect items before delivery team leaves your house regardless of how many other deliveries they have.

Worst furniture store ever, they should shut down all their stores. First of all we bought a bedroom set that they claim it’s one of their best they got.We ordered it since June and finally we got our bed set today, it was all damaged with scratches everywhere and it also seemed like they tried to glued a piece of the headboard. I’m just so disappointed with their customer service and their warehouse workers they just seemed that they don’t care for any of the furniture. Also our mirror was damaged.

I purchased a recliner and waited 6 weeks for delivery. The chair was delivered defective and I called immediately to report it. I waited another 6 weeks for a replacement. The replacement was also defective, in fact it looks exactly like the first chair did and has the same defects. One arm is not fully stuffed and has a large place with no stuffing. The foot rest does not lock in when I push the lever so I can get out of the chair. That is very dangerous and can rise up and cause a person to fall. When reclining the back does not fully recline. When I reported the defects to the store I was told they would send a repairman to my home to fix it. Oh yes, I must wait again for the parts and let them REPAIR IT IN MY HOME!!! No stars

I purchased the Charmond King Upholstered sleigh bedroom set, which is advertised as wood on the website and in the store. Upon deliver about 6 months ago after inspecting the dresser, I noticed several damaged areas at the bottom which had been colored in with dark red marker. I immediately contacted customer service, whom stated a replacement dresser was ordered; however, it was not currently in stock. I recently received a call stating the dresser was in stock and would be delivered 8/26/22. I took the day off of work awaiting the delivery for the delivery team to arrive at my home, with another damaged dresser. I paid 3500 upfront, and my clothes are back in a tote, UNACCEPTABLE! I asked the driver can I inspect the dresser, prior to him bringing it in my home, then he reported the Ashley distribution team inspected the dresser, saw the damage but thought I my accept it like that, UNBELIEVABLE! I refused the delivery & proceed to contact the customer care line. All of the customer service reps were rude, the call center manager Rob was the worst. He was very nonchalant, arrogant and dismissive. I called Ashley Corporate Office and was informed, Ashley Furniture in Romeoville is out of their Jurisdiction and they were unable to help me. I was informed by Ashley furniture call center that the escalation team was out of the office. Absolutely no one has tried to rectify the situation or accommodate me on any level. I can't even get a guarantee that I'll receive another dresser this year in a good condition. The manager Rob explanation was, "The distribution center takes the items out the box to inspect them". My response, "Yet they saw the dresser was damaged, and sent it out anyway unboxed on a truck with other furniture, which probably caused more damage. I want my money back or a brand new dresser and need some legal assistance. I rate Ashley furniture zero stars. Update- Ashley furniture contacted me in an attempt to exchange my damage dresser. They arrived on 9/14/22 with another damaged dresser, see pic below and absolutely no one from the company has reached out regarding another delivery date, nor refund. I requested a call from the supervisor and as of 9/19/22, I haven't heard from anyone I’ve reported them to the BBB. Their services don’t deserve one star
THEY LIE ABOUT THEIR INVENTORY TO GET THE SALE. Purchased almost $6k worth of furniture 7/23/22. We were told during the purchase the sectional & recliner was cureently in-stock and should be delivered in a week or two. The end tables and coffee table were on back order 4-6wks. It is now 9/7/22 no sectional no recliner no phone calls from Ashley. We've had to call weekly for updates and today we we're informed the sectional and recliner are on backorder until 12/20/22.

I had looked online for dining chairs my husband wanted to replace ours with and knew he needed to sit in them to make sure for such a large change. We walked into Ashley in Joliet and saw Adam sitting in chairs like we were looking for, Adam said they were the most comfortable for him to work in, after sitting in the options available in thr store hubby agreed. Adam was able to get us a great price with the current Labor Day sale promotions.
By far the worst experience I've had buying furniture. I bought a couch and was told it would be ready in 3 weeks. As the 3 week mark was approaching, I called to check on the status of my order. The sales associate never added my phone number to the order so not only was I unable to check the status, but I also had to call the customer service number and wait an hour to have it added. Once added, I was told my order was delayed an additional week. It is now the week that it's supposed to be available and when I called to check the status again, I was told it's delayed another 2-4 weeks. I called the customer service number again and asked the reasoning for the delay. I was told that the couch was put on back order, yet no one from the store called to let me know. The customer service rep told me that they attempted to call me but the number didn't work--I confirmed the number on file, gave her an additional number to add to my account, and told her I had no missed calls on the day they supposedly called me. The cherry on top is that the sales associate told me when I bought the couch, "it will be available 8/21 but things have been coming in earlier so I would anticipate it being ready before then!" I do not appreciate her giving me false hope as I am still waiting for my couch with no confirmed date of when it will be available. I would not recommend shopping at this location.
Delivery was terrible after waiting 5 months. Dresser was broken. Chest draw was broke by installer. Furniture was set on driveway to assemble no padding was put on driveway. Drawers on bed don't open all the way. We sent Dresser and chest back, whish we would have sent it all back. Installers had dirty shoes and didn't cover them.
We bought furnitures from this store and they are not honest at all on the availability of their products. They would tell you that the furnitures you are interested in will be available a certain date in order to make a sale. And then, suddenly the shipment was delayed. They did it to us twice. It takes months for them to deliver our furnitures. Do not buy from this store if you need your furnitures at a certain date. Their sales rep are not truthful. Their customer service will make excuses. And it’s hard to reach them. They will just ignore you once they got your money. So be careful when you buy from Ashley’s.
You have beautiful furniture but your customer service needs help. I was told furniture was in stock and delivery in 2 weeks. 2 months later and all I am getting is a run around. Each week I am told the next week is approx delivery date. Obviously, this furniture is NOT in stock. Honesty from the beginning would have been nice.

My calls to Ashley got disconnected several times. I just came into the store. Got very good service in the store. Phone contact was not good.
Ordered a kitchen table on April 14th and was told it would be here mid June. June came and went. Still no table. I called the call center and was told it would be here by July 27th. That date came and went and still no table. I went to the store to ask about my delivery date. I was assured by the agent it would be here on August 5th. The agent gave me back my delivery fee (my delivery still hasn’t happened) and nothing else but a promise it would be here. It’s still not here. I’ll be coming into the the store soon to speak with an agent in person.

I called and was told repeatedly that I would have to go through the store. Don’t come here if you look young?? Unless you’re fine with staff members coming up to you every couple minutes to ask you if you’re with anyone and how old you are. Went in today to look for new mattress and bed frame for our new apartment and three separate staff members came up to me and my boyfriend to bother us about our age appearance. The one older lady even felt the need to make a comment about how young we look. And on our way out there were several staff members gathered around a desk and they all stared us down as we left the building. Definitely a very uncomfortable experience. So if you don’t clearly look like you’re almost 30 then prepare to be harassed for your entire time there.

Worst furniture store in Joliet I bought a 1500$ bed frame first time the "delivery drivers" came, which is a 3rd party by the way the frame was damaged so they left half of the frame in my living room. 2 weeks later they came again it was damaged. Third time finally everything was good but no screws???? Absolutely trash if a store management is a joke don't buy your furniture here at all unless u want to be scammed and there is no refunds which they never told me about.
After being aggregated with another stores 4month delivery delay that then turned into 6months Adam at the Joliet store was extremely helpful and in less than 5 days I’ll be sleeping soundly!!!!! Excellent service everything was smooth start to finish!
I’m totally disappointed. A week ago Friday I received a text to choose a date for my sectional delivery. I picked today April 30. Yesterday I called because I had not received my delivery window timeframe and was told there was a glitch and my sectional will not be in the warehouse for another 2 weeks. Knowing I had a delivery date I disposed of my sectional. Now here my family sits on lawn chairs in my family room for the next few weeks 😡

Very upset about my furniture bought in November 21 still not delivered and telling me it's going to be another 8 to 10 weeks we are talking end of May or June
We purchased a dining table with the bench and as soon as they delivered it, we noticed it was peeling. We called the guys maybe 5 minutes after they left told us they would send us a phone number never did. We then called the store and told us to call customer service, a couple days later we noticed the bench was like bent and broken. We called customer service told us we had to go to the store where we purchased it. We went back to Ashley Furniture in Joliet and told us to call customer service. We again called and told us the same thing. They’ve had us back and forth for almost 2 weeks. The table is cheap and the service at this point is terrible and unprofessional. We want to return it or change it but it doesn’t seem possible because we have not been able to reach anyone to find a solution. Same thing happened when we purchased our last furniture. We had warranty but we’re never able to reach anyone to fix it.
I knew what I wanted I stopped and I paid for it I got a delivery date couldn’t be happier.

Their refund takes forever! We cancelled an order in 24h of placing an order on 22nd Jan. Today is Mar 19, and we still haven’t received the full refund! Besides, the store manager, Greg, is absolutely discourteous towards customers. However, some of the other store members are really nice, especially Alisha Kyles!
Luis was very friendly and helpful. Made the process quick and easy. We surprised on how readily available the furniture was we ordered considering a lot of things are back ordered these days. *Update as of 4/13/22* This 5 star review is now a 1 star. We have had nothing but issues with delivery, setup and install of this product. 1st delivery - footboard was damaged so it needs to be replaced. Installers put the queen bed back together, which was nice of them, but I believe they did this because they didn't want me to know they forgot to install the slats. First time sitting on the bed the box spring slid off the tiny wood rails because the slats were not installed. Broke the box spring. Customer service did nothing and said "sorry about that". 2nd delivery - which I thought was for the footboard actually turned out to be the slats. Someone came to install the slats almost a week after the first install crew came. Again "sorry about that" is all that was said. 3rd delivery - was the footboard but turns out they couldn't install it because the first installer stripped the screws so the 3rd delivery crew could not take the bed apart to install the new footboard. Having to schedule a 4th delivery to get the furniture we ordered. When I called the store they said they could give me 10% the footboard. When I asked if there was anything else that could be done they said no. This has been nothing short of a nightmare to have to schedule these deliveries around working hours. When I asked to return the entire order I was told I could not do that because it was 72 hours since the 1st delivery. Ashley Furniture does not return damaged furniture and takes no responsibilty for the installers. Do not trust these installers. They are sending out a "supervisor" with a tool to remove the stripped screws. I will NEVER buy another product from Ashley Furniture.

My experience with Ashley has been a nightmare, admittedly not the stores fault completely. When I went in though to sort it out, the only person (feels like in the entire company) to actually LISTEN and FIX it was Alyisha. She was understanding and took action. She was professional yet very personal at the same time. If you’re not working with her, best of luck to you.

This Ashley store particularly has the worst worker policies than any employer I’ve ever seen before. They hold against you the things that you may do during your personal time. A long time employee was fired due to a YouTube video he posted that neither slandered nor make the company look bad in any way.The store makes up policies as they go. Just before being fired from that store, he represented Ashley Furniture by selling a whole apartment of Ashley furniture to a I lose friend. DO NOY SHOP AT THIS ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!

We went to buy a bed and mattress. Our salesperson was a great wonderful lady until the manager came and took over. His name is Greg and we completely felt pushed and shamed that we left to another store to buy the mattress. We did return to purchase only the bed and he said, "you probably bought a knock off mattress." "How much did you pay?" INSULTING WHAT I GOT MY FAMILY and trying to know our expense. No manager should behave this way, very unprofessional. We are never coming back again simply because of Greg. Other employees seemed pretty friendly and helpful. We are going to buy a couch in a few weeks, just not here.
They have bad customer service. My order was wrong and they tried to make me responsible of the situation.
Called them over ten times and they never answered their phone. Also, their warranty company's customer service never answered my calls either. The sofa I purchased developed a gap between each section of the sofa seats, which is a defect...I guess high price doesn't equate to high quality.
Briana was amazing. The prices and sales are clear and the selection is great. Don't waste your time at value city. Where they are rude and include in 5 piece bedroom sets that the bed itself is 3 pieces🙄🙄. Ashley furniture is where to go!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Not only will your order not come, but you also will not get refund when you request it. We purchased a table in September and it kept getting delayed so we decided to cancel. I understand everything is on backorder but 8 months is a long time to wait for a table. I purchased from Bob's and Value City and already received my order and while I was waiting, if it was delayed for any reason, I would get a call or email notifying me of the delay. With Ashley I had to continue to reach out to THEM for updates. I called to cancel my order and was told I would receive a call in 3 days and a refund in 7-10 days. I waited a week and no call so I decided to call again. The person I spoke to said she'd fill out a second refund request and that someone would call me. I asked her to please make sure someone called me and she said someone had tried to call me (as if caller-ID didn't exist :/ and/or email) It has now been an additional week and no one has called nor issued a refund. Calling them a third time to see what excuse they come up with.

Briana was awesome to work with! She was very knowledgeable about the store and the promotions that were running at the time. She broke down all of our pricing options and allowed us to see what would work best for us. Briana was also very personable and easy to talk too. We stopped by today to check on a dining table set . We loved one bedroom set and we found the dinning table set as well , but thanks to Briana we purchased everything and paintings as well! She was very polite and professional, she welcomed us right from the beginning and assisted us with everything we were interested in . Donna was so nice and helpful. Honesty is the best policy, she was up front about the time frame on getting my furniture before I really started looking. Donna alone got 5 stars, the store however, got 4 because while I was waiting to ask questions the staff at the desk didn't look up until I started making noise. And they left the previous person's information laying out for anyone to walk up and see. That made me nervous to finance, but Donna took my paperwork and put it in a folder immediately. Tempurpedic Mattress was purchased on 09/08/21 at Ashley Homestore in Joliet IL. During mattress selection process We we’re only shown Tempurpedic mattresses, we ended up choosing the pro breeze medium hybrid. During payment and filling out paperwork I asked about the comfort guarantee specifically the part about equal or grater value. I asked the manager about it and told him I was worried about it due to the temperpedic brand being the most expensive in the store and that we’ve never had a memory foam mattress. He said not to worry about it and if we had issues with the mattress and would like to go back to a innerspring mattress, just to come into the store and they would work out something with a refund of the difference. Now 70 days latter we have decided we cannot get a good night sleep on the mattress and wake up sore every morning. So we have decided to go back to the innerspring mattress. We went in the store to do the exchange and they told us that the only thing they can do is exchange the mattress for something more expensive or equal value. The problem is there is not an equal or more expensive innerspring mattress. Also that is not what was told to me by the manager who no longer works at the store on the day of purchase. The mattress we originally purchased was $3799 and the new selected mattress is $2099 for a difference of $1700 that the store refuses to refund. Even though the original manager said they would. I also spoke to the regional manager John and all he did was say there is nothing he can do. When I asked to speak to his manager he told me customer service is his manager, and to call them. Customer service said they have nothing to do with the stores or billing and that I need to work it out with them. Do not let them take advantage of you as I did and do not take them on their word. It seems they are only out for sales and do not care about customer service.

The Romeoville, IL location is SO bad. They don't honor prices quoted and the merchandise is delivered damaged. I tried to get these issues fixed and Ricardo, who claimed to be a manager sad would not do a thing. I asked for the District Manager name and he would not give me it. I showed him the facts shown on line and he said "that location was a franchise and not a true Ashley store." Whatever you do don't shop here. With everything so expensive you deserve a company that stands behind their products.
David did a great job explaining the type of mattresses and the adjustable base we could go with to enable us stay within our budget. He helped us pick sofas and was nice. Reason I didn’t give 5 star was because we first stated that we wanted items that were in stock even before we started to look around but we only found out after making payment that some of our items weren’t available and will be delivered in a few weeks. Hope they get delivered on time without delay.

A+ service and patience from Adam at Ashley HomeStore Joliet. My wife and I took weeks deciding on which sofa (or sectional or chaises sofa) would be the best fit for our loft. In fact we’ve taken less time to buy a car. Adam was super understanding and helpful. As far as delivery… we’ll see. The supply chain is effecting many businesses. Hopefully the sofa and table comes when expected. Ashley has high quality furniture that’s meant to last and hold up to whatever life throws at it. Love the people and the furniture.

Terrible customer service. The salesman messed up the order and an extra piece in the couch was delivered making it too large for the living room. They refuse to give me a refund for a mistake they made. I was on the phone with both the Joliet store and customer service, and they will only give me store credit when I'd rather never go back to a store like this again.

Staff is not helpful at all. I was told, after placing my order in early October, that some of the ordered furniture would arrive in the middle of October. I was told once the first items were available they could be delivered and the remainder of the furniture would ship when it became available. October came and went and then I was told the furniture would be available to ship November 16. Today, November 15, I was told nothing is available until the end of the month and some items are not even in stock. I understand the dates provided are an estimate but when I called customer service and questioned why customers would be given an estimated day if the items are clearly not in shipment to the warehouse, I was given attitude and spoken to as though I did not understand what estimate meant. If from the beginning of my purchase I was given a realistic time frame I would not be so disappointed. Also, no one answers the phone at the store and you are unable to leave a message requesting a call back. I feel my concerns have not been heard nor taken seriously. Had I know it would have been such a wait from the time of the order, I would have waited to set my move-in date. I have now been living in an apartment without furniture for over a month. This has been a big inconvenience and overall, an extremely poor experience. I will never shop at or recommend Ashley Furniture again. I would recommend shopping though Bob’s Furniture who was clear and honest about estimated delivery wait time and reached out various times to keep me updated on the status of my order (after only buying an entertainment center).

Donna was completely rude. I went in looking for a bed frame. I went to the front desk because I had some questions about one that I was interested in. Donna acted like she was being bothered when I asked for help. When I showed her the bed frame I asked how long it takes to deliver. I had a mattress on the floor. Her answer was so completely rude. I told her I would need it as soon as possible. She had an attitude in her response and said “it’s going to take longer than that”. I understand that things are crazy right now but she didn’t have to respond to me like that. Then when she was asking which one I wanted I pointed but then saw that there was an option to not have drawers. Donna snarked at me like I was the one irritating her. Then I said “let me shop around other places to see if I could have it delivered sooner”. She was snobbish in her answer to this as well and said “you won’t”. She acted like she couldn’t be bothered. Her attitude and demeanor was so rude and I won’t be shopping there again. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Very unhappy with the lies that the sales person told me to make the sale which is probably why he is no longer employed there. Also very unhappy with my experience with the customer service department. I am going into the store later today to talk with the manager to let them know how disappointed I was with my whole experience at Ashley Furniture and I to let them know that I will never shop there again.

We just moved to Joliet from Jacksonville and need to furnish our new home. We'll, it won't come from Ashley in Joliet. Worst customer service experience ever. We were tired, rushed and driving from an airb&b in Wetseka. Took forever to get someone to answer questions. They seemed put out and inconvenienced. I guess we didn't look like we could spend money. Our hard earned money will go to a company that actually wants it.

Really satisfied with the experience shopping in store here and working with TJ! He was friendly greeting us at the door and was very helpful in finding the perfect kitchen table for us and sofas. What really impressed me was how patient he was while I was back and forth between tables and communicating with my husband on the phone trying to decide. To add it was getting close to my two year olds nap time and her tiredness was starting to show. He kept a smile and was understanding and I liked how he gave me space when trying to decide but was close when I had questions. I definitely plan to return to this store for some of our future pieces we will need!!! Thanks guys!
A certain Manager is a very rude, angry person. She treats people poorly. She is very judgmental. Makes comments about customers in front of customers. Not only that, she talks badly about other Ashley Furniture employees and managers. She is an assistant manager. No one deserves this treatment. Will not be returning. My wife felt very uncomfortable afterwards.

If 0 was an option, they'd get it. Ordered a bed for my daughter in FEBRUARY 2021, the wrong item was delivered in a massive box, to my door. Only after the delivery truck was well down the street, was I able to unpack it enough to realize they delivered the bed in the wrong color. BLACK instead of WHITE. They delivery people refused to say so I could confirm the order was the right bed, despite me asking. Weeks of calls to fix this resulted in a return pickup, and no refund. I was told I would have to wait until MAY or JUNE for the refund to process. Here we are SEPTEMBER 3, STILL NO REFUND! Trying to get anyone on the phone who knows anything about this is impossible. They do not do reference numbers for phone calls to customer service, instead they INSIST that they have notes in the computer. You can be sure, NOTHING you talk about on the phone to them will be able to be referenced by the next customer service person who answers the phone. This company is a complete joke, and as of now, they have STOLEN $400.00 from me. Do not waste your time and money on their subpar products, terrible attitudes, and absolute no care at all. One last reason to not deal with this joke of a company, they CAN take you money in store when you buy something, but they ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO REFUND YOUR MONEY IN STORE! This alone tells you it is not a reputable company. Shop anywhere else than Ashley Furniture.

Have always purchased furniture at Ashley. Recently bought my daughter a new bedroom set that was supposed to come in 2-3 weeks. Went back to buy a mattress to find out it was pushed back another week. Not a big issue. Just got a phone call over the weekend and they said another 5-6 weeks! With this time table it will be almost 3 months before it shows up at best. I asked for a call back and three days later still nothing. I doubt I will do business with Ashley again.

We came in after a horrible experience with a competitor. The sales personnel were friendly, attentive, and gave us plenty of room to look for ourselves. Only when we requested more information did the sale actually start, which was great as the furniture is of such great quality it does sell itself! Will recommend to others! So happy with our purchase!

8 months later and horrible experiences later. Our merchandise came from Ashley's warehouse damaged and not matching parts. The delivery company rudely pointed out the wrong item but failed to mention the damaged item to me. I noticed it as soon as the truck sped away from my home. After a few calls to "customer service" they arranged a "swap" for the damaged item and the incorrect item and offered a small credit to cover some of the delivery charges. The replacement delivery of the incorrect item yielded ANOTHER incorrect item and more hassle from the delivery company. Another 3 phone calls to "customer service manager" and complaints filed on the delivery company led to us NOT being able to return any of the merchandise (because their return policy) and no other further help or advice besides for "there are no other credits available to give to you for your experience". So, 5 calls to "customer service" and three to the local store to get exchange items ordered we're still waiting for our item to be delivered and assembled. Their "customer service" couldn't even issue any replacement orders for these incorrect and damaged items. I had to call the local store to replace! We WILL NOT be going back to Ashley for any further furniture. Their "customer service" is very rude and did not care that my child has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor of her room because they can't send the correct and undamaged items to our home. This experience has been a hassle since the first delivery and the horrid attitude of their phone "customer DIS-SERVICE" cost them a customer. (8 months prior to the above edit) Maria was very helpful and right there to answer all of our questions. Love Ashley Furniture and I'm glad to be a repeat customer.

I ordered my sectional couch black Friday weekend of 2020. I was supposed to receive it in March. March came and went with ZERO contact from the rep we worked with. At this point, my husband and myself made a visit to the store. Then we received an email from the rep, maybe in April, saying some of your couch will be delivered while the rest of the couch is on back order until June 1st. After asking her a few questions and saying keep it at June 1st for now, she didn't answer any of my questions and just said she will keep the delivery for June 1st. This made it seem like she wasn't actually interested in helping us, but just wanted to sell a couch. Since mid March, I have been making frequent visits to ensure my couch is going to be delivered some time this year. With every visit or email that went back and forth between the manager and myself, the delivery day kept changing. The most recent visit I was told by the manager it will be delivered June 1st. I also mentioned I am not willing to wait any longer than this because it's already been a long time and I can probably order from another company and get a couch delivered around the same time they are offering. I received the confirmation text, responded, and thought everything was set in place. Now I get a call saying there was a glitch in the system over the weekend and my couch isn't being delivered today. I will never be shopping here again. The only reason I continued with my order was because the manager was honest and very understanding. I'm very upset that this happened as this was one of our first home buys and it's been a disaster. We also ordered furniture from another store in February and had it delivered early May. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

I originally rated a 4 but we are having the worst customer service experience. No transparency in communicating dates. Changes in delivery dates and what furniture will be delivered when. Sales people point the finger at delivery and vice versa. It’s a mess. I cannot tell you to run fast enough!

I was greeted and shown suitable items for me to pick from. I was in need of a new bed too but had no idea they carried them. Emily demonstrated several beds until I found the perfect one for me. Between Adam and Emily my time was optimized! Thank you!!
They are selling used furniture. They are selling the display furniture that several peolpe have sat on and worn out. It would be reasonable if a price and agreement had been worked out for used furniture.

I have been a long term customer with Ashley Furniture in Joliet, IL. I recently purchased a dinette set and leather reclining couch and love seat. My dinette set was delivered to me as used furniture after paying thousands of dollars for it.. The chairs are dirty and the cushions are already worn out. This seem to possibly be the display that was on the floor although I waited three months for delivery. Four months for the couch and love seat which is brand new in great conditon. Ashley Furniture it is bad business to sell used furniture to your customers when they are expecting new items. I was told by management to take pictures and bring them in but how can one take pics of worn out cushions. If I don't get what was paid for we will meet in court Ashley Furniture. And you have definitely gotten enough money out of me over the years.
My husband & I were very surprised when this store was still open at 10:30 pm! They were having a midnight madness sale...never did we think we would be in there until 12:20 am! We have been talking about getting a new bed for months. We decided to check out their selection. Our service was great. Linda was so helpful in talking us through the various types of mattresses. We placed our order at midnight! Never once did they pressure us into buying extra items. We are repeat customers to Ashley furniture. (Most of our living room is from this store!)

We purchased a sectional sofa, two accent chairs, stationary sofa and 3 coffee tables.. on March 27 (and today is APR 20). 1. The stationary sofa and TWO accent chairs were supposed to be delivered on Apr 14, BUT ONLY ONE WAS DELIVERED (without even telling us ahead of time). They said there was a warehouse issue, and they’ll schedule on Apr.20 (today) delivery, so I said ok. 2. Here comes today (Apr 20), scheduled delivery between 10:15am - 1:15pm... this morning at 8:40am the delivery guy called and said they’ll arrive in 20mins. So i was like wow it’s early, YAY! But, it’s already 2:31pm, no one came, no one reached out. Called customer service, jusy escalated the issue and told to wait 12-24hrs to get a response. WOW. Just WOW. Unbelievable. 3. The sectional sofa and 3 coffee tables were initially scheduled for delivery on end of May, then someone called us and said it’s gonna be Mid June. Then after a few days we tried calling customer service, and said it’s changed to JULY. Now, we dont know who to believe coz all yhe reps say different dates. Now it’s making my blood boil. We bought it MARCH 27. Paid it in FULL. And theyre saying tentative delivery is July. Wow. Im not gonna be surprised if they call again and tell us it’ll be moved to August, or september, or Christmas?! 3 months of wait and counting. seriously? SO GUYS, IF YOU’RE WILLING TO WAIT FOR MORE THAN 3 MONTHS, THEN GO FOR ASHLEY. IF NOT, THEN LOOK FOR OTHERS. THERE’S ALOT OUT THERE. SORRY THIS POST IS LONG. I’M JUST DISAPPOINTED W/ THE TIMELINE. **NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL**
They tell you that their furniture is in stock and it never is. They don't return phone calls. You will be waiting at least a year for your furniture and that's if it doesn't come damaged

Everything went smoothly Donna worked with me to be able to purchase the could and recliner i wanted. Went in on Saturday looked around and got the measurements so i could go home and see how it will fit in my home. Donna had suggested to take pictures with my phone which worked out great for me to remember the measurements. Went back on Sunday and purchased my stuff. Excited for delivery.
Kurt was our salesman for today and it was quite the experience. Kurt was knowledgable about the product we were interested in and frankly saved us a tone of money had we gone with what we thought was a good deal. The experience was refreshing and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this location for future purchases. Even in the mist of Covid-19 we didn't feel pressured or annoyed to walk through the store. We weren't given a delivery date due to Covid so I'll be sure to come back to this comment was our purchase is delivered. So far so good!

The store was clean and well lit. The furniture was great. The staff really shined, especially our sales rep, Maria. However the order process was too convoluted. We had to wait to price our different items. The ordering platform kept freezing. I don’t understand why it’s not as easy as ordering online and getting down to an accurate total. Please give your stores the capability or ordering with the same ease as ordering by online.

Do not buy from this company! They have terrible customer service. The delivery guy swore at me. They didn’t show up to the delivery they scheduled. They give you phone numbers to contact but those numbers state they don’t accept calls.
My experience was surprisingly poor. I spent 4 hours trying to contact the store and sales rep, the rep was poor at math, the call centers(I called 5 times) can’t make the store answer phones nor contact them directly, the regional manager( believe it or not) was at the store and after an additional 45 minutes told me he could and would not make any accommodations for my lost time and frustration because his margins are only 5%, and “ I could have avoided these issues if my wife and I made our decision the night previously when we were in the store for over an hour. I can’t believe the decision making of this company.

Horrible experience, we ordered our new sectional in November 2020. Our delivery date was rescheduled multiple times, when it was finally delivered the wrong couch was ordered by the sales person, I sent it back then three weeks later another delivery came with the same exact couch as the first time which again is WRONG, was told they had to leave it in my house until the new one is delivered. The new delivery date was set for today which is now being rescheduled due to the weather. I have tried to be patient throughout this whole process. Was told today they cannot cancel my order entirely due to all sales being final. The store sales people are all very nice and helpful but the customer service number you call everyone is insanely rude and not helpful at all.
This place is a joke. Donna at this store is a scammer. She tried to tell me a furniture set went up over $300 the next day. They did sell it to me for the price I was first told the day before. Still waiting for the complete set, it was delivered three times so far every time we had a damaged piece. Was supposed to get the couch yesterday to find out when the guy opened the truck rear door it was not even on the truck. Idiots run this company. Save yourself the headache and stress go elsewhere to buy.

I purchased a sofa and accent chair back in September or October. I was told it would be delayed due to COVID which I understood and was fine with. My furniture finally got Delivered this last Wednesday February 3. The guys delivered it to my living room, I signed for it and they left all within less than 10 minutes. As I started to set up my entryway space, I realized that I couldn’t fit both the sofa and chair because the space is narrow and it wouldn’t fit properly. I went to the store here in Joliet about two hrs later and asked if I could return the accent chair because I don’t have room for it and was told they don’t accept returns and should’ve refused it before it was unloaded. How was I supposed to refuse it unless I knew it wouldn’t fit? Also, what type of store sells you something and doesn’t accept returns? I then asked the lady if I could at least exchange it for a coffee table or something that would actually go with the sofa and she said they couldn’t do that either!! So I asked her, what am I supposed to do with a $500 chair that I have no room for? put it in my garage?? c’mon! I have always bought my furniture from Ashley and never had any issues but now they can’t do anything for me? The lady said she would see what she could do for me and would call me! She did call me the next day and said she’s still waiting for a response and as of today I have not heard anything! Although not her fault, I cannot believe a company as big as Ashley can’t take care of their customers, especially when they have been returning customers! I have to say this is the last time I buy from Ashley whether they care about one customer or not! So disappointing! Oh and by the way I just made a payment yesterday! 😡😡🤦🏻♂️👎🏽👎🏽 Israel!
I thought this was supposed to be a slightly higher end furniture store. That is definitely not the case. Is nothing made with real wood or leather anymore? This store is full of junk that looks like wood from 10 feet away. Once you get close its obvious that it is laminated cardboard or plastic.... yes literally plastic. $800 for a plastic console table..?! $2000 for a fake leather sofa that will peel and crack just after the 1 year warranty expires?! Nope.

Made a purchase in October 2020, with the anticipation of a delivery date in February 2021. When I called to request for an update in late January, no one answered the phone. Sent numerous email messages directly the salesperson only to be ignored. Fed up with no one responding, I was forced to make a trip to the store only to hear numerous excuses from the sales person and the store manager. Upset with how this issue was handled by both, I decided to cancel the order. After 2-3 weeks of waiting, I returned to the store again since no one answers or responds to any of my emails. I discovered that I didn’t get a full refund. Now I have to wait for 2 billing cycles (2 more months) to receive a refund from the store which should have been refunded correctly the first time. Terrible customer service! I will never return to this store or any other Ashley Furniture Store again. The customer service is great when you’re trying to make a purchase but once you do, you have no value anymore!!! I would rate this store a zero if I could have.

Why can't this store have a phone number that you can call and talk to someone? For 3 days now I have been trying to call and talk to a salesperson. Yesterday, was a voicemail with a message that hadn't been changed since April, stating the store was closed. Um, update maybe? Today when you call the number and select sales, all it does is ring and hang up. Shop by phone they say......yeah, not working!

This was honestly a frustrating experience when it was all said and done. The person helping us was trying her best but seemed like she had no idea what was going on and what we wanted. We had to call the manager over twice and then we were told after we had ordered everything that our stuff wouldn't be here until March at the earliest. Why wouldn't you tell us that before? Now I have to wait for 3 months to have a couch to sit on. Very upset with the whole process.

Zero follow up, phones still say unavailable until April. We have been waiting for a cushion for two months that we ordered and were told would be delivered to our home. One was delivered the second had to be picked up, we never were informed until we stopped by in person and were given the picking number. After waiting nearly two month, we received the cushion with no cover. The manager is unable to assist in any way, she couldn’t even forward or respond to an email almost a month prior.
Wish I would have read the negative reviews on this place first. Customer service in the beginning SUCKED. Don’t remember the guys name there but both of them need to find another career. Store need to be grateful for Rachel or they would have lost a sale. Being in retail for over 35 years the only way I will shop this location again is if she is there.
Well, this store is offering a nice 6 years 0% interest rate offer. This is a sensible offer during COVID times if your budget is not allocated yet for furniture but you have plans to buy in near future. Attached are some photos of what items they have, the prices on them. The store staff is pretty helpful, they check on you every 30 minutes to see if you need any assistance . They explain you there offers more in detail.They also have 25% off for bill over 3000 dollars ( but you don’t get 6years 0% interest if you choose to take 25% off but you still get 12 months 0% interest). They are also willing to do delivery within 1hr distance of their store. Which they generally are not used to do before.
I bought furniture on 11/8/20 and was promised a delivery of the bed on 11/19/20. After clearing the old furniture out of the room and having the delivery rescheduled several times I was finally told that the bed will be available 12/3/20 and that I will have the rest of the bedroom set delivered today. I had half of the bed delivered today. No other pieces were delivered. I called the store and no one answers. My daughter has been sleeping on the floor because of this.

I am really so disappointed in Ashley Furniture here in Joliet on Mall Loop Drive. I purchased a couch in August . I paid it in full. They did tell me it was on backorder but I should expect to receive it around October 13th. Well October 13th came and went no delivery, no text message, no phone calls, no email. When I tried to call them, the phone rang and rang with no answer. I finally got a hold of them last weekend and I was told that it was on backorder now until December. But they couldn't guarantee when it would be delivered. I understand the times we are going thru and that the couch most is on backorder. But what I don't get is their lack of customer service. For the amount of money I spent, I think I deserved at least some type of update. They have all my information, I really feel I should have been contacted! Once I get this couch I will never buy from them again. P.S. I sent the email as requested on Saturday 11/21 and as of today 11/24 no one has responded
I ordered $3000 in furniture from Ashley home store in Joliet. Coffee table doors are not functional, the shelf on the TV stand is broken, the delivery guy smashed into the corner of my brand new refrigerator door and dented it, and I can’t get them to resolve any of this. I have called, emailed, sent pictures three times, without resolution. They keep canceling my tickets for whatever random reasons they make up, like I didn’t send pictures, or I didn’t notify them in time. I called them the very next day and sent pictures. That’s within their guidelines so I don’t know what their issue is. They won’t even acknowledge the cancellation of the rest of my order that I absolutely don’t want now. Their delivery guys were not even wearing masks during a pandemic when they entered my home! This place is really, really bad.
I give zero stars again! This place is a joke. So I was promised that my table would be here this Friday 11/27 by corporate. Got all excited because yesterday I got the confirmation. Nope no table coming this wk. Just got the call they pushed me back til Dec 3.. Are you kidding me. No one will call me back and they want me to pay for a table that is not in my home. Yup they billed me! So I see exactly what they did. When I went in a wk and half ago they told me Dec 3 and I said no that will be three months. UNACCEPTABLE. Then they changed it to 11/27 when they new dawn we&'ll I was not getting my table. Your people broke my first take not me. I should of been put on the top of the list for this table. At least when I called other furniture stores they are honest and up front with me because I am searching for a different table. But no one can get me a table til Jan. At least they were honest with me and didn&'t just brush me off. I even had another furniture store search to find me a table ASAP. But what is Ashley doing? NOT A DAMN THING. Give me the floor model.. I don&'t care but find me a table I am tired of my family of four eating on my couch. You are not a number 1 furniture store! Then I just hung up with corporate and they are telling me that the person that email me LANE R more or less is not a real person. I am shock that this store has fallen apart this bad. Everything in my house is Ashley and I am ashamed to even have any furniture from Ashley.

I am LIVID!!! We have bought 3 rooms of furniture in the beginning of sept. We paid the entire amount for all of it as per Ashley’s request. They said we could expect delivery in October or possibly November which was disappointing but we understood because the warehouse was closed due to the corona virus. We know are being jerked around about when and if we will get delivery of our furniture that has been paid in full for 2 months. The staff seems very uniformed as it applies to inventory and delivery dates. I will be going to the store and demanding a refund...this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

I will never shop with Ashley's again. Poor product quality and customer service. I was informed that there's no formal format to make a complaint. I brought beds, it was delivered on a Monday and by Tuesday it broke. The guys that assembled my children bed didn't even secure it with bolts ands screws. I am still awaiting response regarding repairs. If you go to the store regarding a concern they going give you customer service number. Once you call customer service you will have to wait almost hr before you get a live person. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!!

My son paid cash for a new Bed and mattress that was supposed to be delivered 2wks ago! Now it’s supposed to be delivered this coming Tuesday and but I’ve been on hold for 45 min! That’s just to talk to someone about my sons order! If I could giver “0” star I would!! My sons girlfriend has also gone directly to the store only to get the same run around!! Well I can guarantee that I will NEVER shop at an Ashley store EVER!

Had an amazing experience yesterday we had Dona as our sales associate and Melissa was the manager also helping us and they couldn’t have been more helpful with the whole process of our first furniture buying experience. They both were very informative about everything and both had great customer service. I highly recommend visiting them for your furniture needs.
So I ordered a chair back in July and was given a date of mid August for delivery. They ended up delaying me to August 25th only to delay me again until sep 3rd. Sadly I am once again delayed but if not for 2 outstanding sales managers I would have just returned my purchase and never looked back. Store manager melissa did a great job in assisting and tracking down what the issue was. What really shined as well was sales manager Malay franchini. She personally called me today (day of my 3rd time delayed delivery date) with a ton of info and personally called the warehouse and made sure to have my item attached and ready for delivery for this upcoming Tuesday. As I stated if not for the attention to detail abd excellent guest service I would have saved myself 1300$. This is the kinda guess service I wanted so having to wait until Tuesday now and reschedule my work days to be home is less annoying and frustrating. It still is inconvenient but I'm still giving my buisness to Ashley because of these 2 standout people.

I needed a dresser for my son. Best the entrance we found one he liked. The store attendant have us a price and said she could take 20% off today. So we looked around and my son really liked the first one. When we decided to get that one she said she made a mistake and it was a hundred dollars more. For the mistake she knocked off another $10 and that's it. It's upsetting when there is no price on the item. I'm still rethinking this purchase. I don't like being quoted one price then told it's actually more.

We ended up leaving to check out other stores and ended up right back at Ashley. In the end the quality and style that we saw at Ashley couldn’t be matched. Good service without the hard sell
Store was clean, and associate Adam helped us out was very friendly. He was not pushy. Also had pretty good knowledge of where pieces of furniture were in the store for suggestions on what we were looking for. Ashley Homestore has good quality furniture. Bought a sectional from them 3+ years ago and I have 4 large dogs that jump around off of it and the stitching has held up on it. So when we moved to a new home, we knew we wanted to come back to Ashley to get a few pieces.

We've been scheduled for delivery 4 times, taken off work and adjusted our schedules to have furniture NOT SHOW UP every time. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone in customer service they were unhelpful and "rescheduled" our delivery. NOT ONCE has anyone from the store called to check on how delivery went or to apologize for the lack of it. We finally received part of our sectional sofa and were told that we the other half was now delayed until September -- we ordered back in June. We will never shop here again!

Sorry for the long review. My review is for an online purchase. It should be noted that when I made a purchase through the actual store I had a much better experience. I recently bought my first home and had nothing as far as furniture goes. I ordered a kitchen table, a mattress, and recliner, and a tv stand. I was told my delivery day for the table and recliner was about a month out (normal) and my tv stand and mattress were going to ship via ups. My mattress had a ship date of july 7th. It's now july 21st and I reached out to ashley and they said that there must have been a glitch because they dont see a mattress in the system for me. I then asked about my tv stand that was supposed to ship this week ( I have email confirmation the tv stand is supposed to ship). They responded with "it's on backorder until 9/1. Finally my kitchen table and recliner were supposed to be delivered today. They called my girlfriend (shes not associated with the purchase at all, not sure how they got her number) 10 minutes before arriving to tell her they damaged my table during delivery and we will have to wait another month for a new one. I contacted Ashley furniture again and they gave me a very generous 15% off my table purchase alone which came out to approximately 90 dollars....every aspect of this purchase and delivery was absolutely awful. I still have no idea when or if anything I order will show up or not.
My saleswoman was wonderful. She was very patient and answered all my questions and concerns. I had a wonderful experience and will be back soon for more furniture.
Ashley has great customer service It’s always a fun experience just browsing at furniture or actually shopping. The furniture is great quality and fair prices. Definitely our first stop when we want new furniture

I went to Ashley Furniture Store to purchase a mattress with my 87 year old mother. Melissa, the manager (In my opinion was condescending). Here’s my experience. We selected a Sterns and Foster mattress. We asked what was the return policy should my mother determined the mattress was not a good fit. Melissa explained the return policy. During the conversation she and the sales person Cedric stated we would need to purchase a mattress pad cover. The mattress pads covers range from $80 (clearance price up to $200. I explained to Melissa that I had a very good mattress pad and additional pad to protect the mattress. She replied well if you need to return within the timeframe it can’t have any stains of any kind on the mattress. The warranty would be voided. I totally understand that. Makes sense to the average person. At that point that should have been the end of the discussion. She then went on say about a year or so I had a customer who wanted to return a mattress and it had a cat pee on it.. I immediately became irritated by her comment. What did that customer’s situation have to do with me???? You tried to get me to purchase a mattress pad that I did not want or need and then you bring up some other customer issue. To the Dufresne Spenser Group DBA Ashley Furniture you all need to send your Sales Manager and Associates to Emotional Intelligence Training. They need to ensure that every customer experience is above and beyond expectations. They also make you feel like your being investigated for a crime. I was asked for Drivers License, Ashley Credit Card and a bank or credit card. If you verify that the name and address matches on my drivers license matches the name and address on my account. Why is this necessary. I will be sending a official letter to the company regarding my customer experience. I would hope that Dufresne Spenser Group DBA Ashley Furniture will look at best practices to improve your customer service.

Are salesman was Adam from the Joliet Ashley’s he got us a decent deal and was very attentive but you need to have some coffee and cookies like Bobs Furniture does !!
Adam was wonderful! He helped us find the perfect dining room table. He was patient with our 21 questions and even stuck with us through the sale (including our 4 seperate trips we made because we couldn't decide). He even went the extra mile of measuring the table adding feet on each side to tell us if it would fit appropriately in our dining area. Delivery options were open during this Covid crisis. And let's no forget to mention how clean the store and restrooms were. Staff were constantly walking around and sanitizing. Will definitely visit this location in the future.

The customer service was great. My salesman listened to what I had already chosen online but explained to me why I should invest in the correct mattress. When I was done, I was so happy that I did not choose what I initially wanted. My nights is so much nicer now with the right mattress. I convinced my son to buy him one. He got a better one than mine.

We visited your store on 2/24/20 to purchase new bedroom furniture during the evening. We were never approached by an associate until we had asked where all the bedroom sets were located. She gave us a flier for a sale and proceeded to sit back down. We walked by a few more times to ask questions but no one approached us, as your female associate was sitting on a couch scrolling through her personal social media. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service we received.

Which is why Ashley's is one of the first places I went when looking at getting a new mattress and bedroom set. After shopping around at several stores, I decided on the set from Ashleys. Originally, I had looked at the Bolingbrook store and had a great experience. When I was ready to purchase, I went to the Joliet store as it's closer to my house. I picked out the mattress and bedroom set and everything was going fine.... until the lady came back with the breakdown of charges and the different financing options. I saw there was a $995 charge on there... I asked her what the was and she said it's the warranty. Oh ok well I don't do warranties so please remove it. FOR THE FIRST TIME LITERALLY EVER I was told "Oh no, we can't remove the warranty. You have to get it when financing for 36 months". I'm sorry WHAT?!?!? So I asked to speak with the manager who told me the same. I asked for her reasoning. She goes "Well,if you're still making payments and something breaks, you need to be covered." I laughed and asked how this sale was any different than my mortgage payments or my car payments. Something breaks, that sucks but it's on me. She gave me a blank stare in return. By this time I had been going round and round with them for about 25 minutes and was about to walk out of the store and go elsewhere. Magically, they were all of a sudden able to remove it. I've never had a bad experience anywhere as I did that night. Shame on those associates for trying to trick customers into warranties. Not cool.

Very poor customer service! Two separate deliveries for one couch? First delivery: Delivery drivers would not take damaged couch back to truck when questioned about damage. Proceeded to &"take pics to send to customer service&" and lied to get a signature. When calling customer service and the store location, I was met with &"there&'s nothing we can do&". Second delivery: the other half came filthy with hand prints all over it and the drivers refused to take it back to the truck & left! Again calls were made, I was told to wait 24 hours for a call back and never received one? When calling again, I was told that they franchise their stores and they can&'t control what they do from their corporate offices. When given the information for the store owners to speak with them directly, no one at the store knew of them? And when asking to speak to a manager they&'re at lunch no matter what time of day it is? This is how Ashley home furniture runs their business and gives their clients the run around. Will not be returning ever.

Pertaining to the Joliet store but corporate has been impossible to get a hold of as well. We have been purchasing furniture every year from Ashley for the last few years on Black Friday.. we found a couch we liked and found someone to help us place the order. We went over MANY times what way we needed the couch & Chase to face with the sales associate, she seemed to finally understand and wrote it up. Next she said it would be delivered the following Wednesday (which was awesome because we were hosting a party and would have loved to have our new couch at it but if not no biggie because we had an older couch already we just were looking for bigger one. So as soon as we heard it was coming Wednesday we made arrangements to get rid of our existing one early Wednesday am to make room for the new one. Next thing I know the guys are here and I notice the couch has the chase on the wrong side.. so I spoke up & they didn’t seem to know what to do- so they encouraged me to keep it and call and let Ashley know, so I said I wasn’t comfortable with that! Then because it wasn’t being figured out and I didn’t want to make the wrong decision I had to wake my husband up who was on 2 hours of sleep to deal with this. They wanted us to keep it and call Ashley ourselves and we said no, we want the couch out because we dont want to chance signing off on it and being stuck since we signed the paper. So the delivery guys went ahead and called and let them know that the woman who placed our order wrote it down wrong. So they must have explained to the delivery guys to leave the pieces that were right and take what wasn’t, So they left. Next we had to wait to be called... 8 hours later someone called my husband and left a voicemail just stating that now the couch will be here the 16th.. TWO WEEKS FROM NOW after we already got rid of our couch and have no where to sit. First of all, someone should have insisted in the voicemail that he please call back when he could to discuss that we now would have to wait a long time to get this couch that was promised to us Wednesday & If that was okay for us. So the next day my husband called, which took an hour for someone to answer and let them know this would not work and we need another option to get it sooner. The woman who answered was very unfriendly and careless about it all, we then asked to speak to a manager so she then went on to tell us that there’s nothing they can do and avoided offering to speak to the manger. Eventually my husband was very stern that he wanted to speak to a manager so she put us on hold and eventually came back and said the manager was busy- but that they can offer us $50 giftcard.. WHY would we want to invest even more money into a store that already has our 2800 dollars invested in them with no couch in our house and absolutely no apologies about it. So my husband said yet again I want to speak to the manager.. and the girl then got an attitude and said “ I mean what would you like us to do?!” So then she took his number down and said goodbye. Well what do you know.. over 24 hours have gone by and absolutely no phone calls from the manager. This is absolutely poor poor poor customer service. Your sales associate is responsible for an error (not us) and not a single person has a care in the world about It. I can almost guarantee there is a way to receive this couch sooner but they probably don’t want to eat the cost of whatever it would take to get it to the store quickly & they should considering this was their wrong doing. And if it’s so impossible to do anything else like the sales girl claims- why is the manager avoiding calling us back, she/ he should have absolutely no problem just explaining the situation. Wether something could be done or not the manger should have absolutely called us back to discuss the situation esp because none of this was our fault. We will never ever spend another dime in this store as they clearly do not value us as customers. We both work and/or have worked in the customer service industry and this is totally unacceptable to get no return phone call from management. Save yourself the money or at least triple check your paper work before you leave because we were unaware we had to make sure she placed the order correctly after we said 5 times which way it needed to face to work in our home. Accidents happen but the service from there on out has been absolutely pitiful.Had the manger taken the time to call us back we would have never left this review but we gave a more then fair chance to give us a call and since everyone shrugged it off we feel it was very necessary.
We have now completed another room with Ashley furniture. They stand by their products and we get so many compliments from friends and family, who now shop at Ashley.
I went to get a full size headboard with a frame. I ask specifically if I can get the bolts and nuts to attached. The sales rep said yes, that is the only way I will take it. He said yes. The bed was delivered without them. I went to the Joliet store explained what is needed and was told I needed to spend another 130 dollars to get rails as it is not sold that way. Asked for compensation and said no, asked to speak to general manager and was told no. Asked them to pick up the furniture and they said ok. 2 days later I called their customer service and was told the local store is to call you as it was denied. I have yet to hear from them. I have now called their customer service and they are trying to clean this up. This location has been the worst for customer service. 3 weeks still waiting for hardware.

Found a nice table, but wow they have the worst delivery service ever. You can’t even get a hold of these people. They called the wrong number to set up delivery and I’ve tried maybe 7x to call back, to no avail. Very time consuming, frustrating ordeal.

My husband and I purchased the King sized Temper-Pedic mattress from the Mattress Doctor Rachel Eskridge at the Joliet store. Rachel was very pleasant and thorough. We left the store extremely pleased that we had purchased an amazing bed. We both enjoy the features of the bed which are plentiful and great. We push a button for a complete body massage. We push a button that has a tv on it and it lifts our head and feet. We push a button that has a sleep mode, and another button for the night light. I was experiencing a lot of pain before I got this bed and I am so much improved now. I thank God that my husband was able to purchase this bed for us. It's one of the best purchases of my life.

Update to my original review posted 9/6/19: The extended warranty company won&'t fix my dining room table because they said it is too damaged. Yeah, you heard that right. Glad I spent the extra $100 on that useless warranty. Also, Ashley&'s Escalation team got in touch with me and gave me hope, false it turned out, that my table would be repaired. They said the damage was my fault because I put hot items and wet items on the table! Imagine that, using a table like everyone does and having it damaged after just 4 months! And yes, I used hot pads to divert the direct heat from dishes that were hot. So, once again, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE! Unless you like poorly manufactured furniture.
Once again I am forced to take my complaint about a company to social media! First it was AT&T Uverse, now it's Ashley HomeStores. If you dont like your furniture to crack, bubble and the finish to peel off 2 months after you buy it, then DO NOT buy furniture from Ashley! They said it was normal wear and tear from use! Technician tried to repair it but now the table is sticky and the the finish looks terrible. They flat-out refused to send another tech to look at it again. It was the Haddigan table if anyone is interested in looking up the reviews on the Ashley furniture website.
Great staff and furniture
Very disappointed with our tv entertainment center. When it was delivered the cabinet door would not line up . I immediately called Ashly before the delivery people drove away. I was told they would have to send a repair man out. The repairman came out a week later worked on it for several hours and could not get it to align. And for me that the shelf that was going again in the warehouse was crooked and even with the level it showed it was not even which prevented the cabinet door from closing properly. Ashley again scheduled a delivery to replace it. Again it came with the same problem they rescheduled for another one to come out. On the third one It still was defected. I informed Ashley I was not going to take another day off of work for them to deliver another defective cabinet I would just keep the defected one but wanted at least a discount. Ashley , JOLIET team member called back only to offer $50 gift card. What a joke . Not only did I pay 1,000 for a defected item but I lost over $700.00 for the days I had to take off of work. Their products are garbage and I would not recommend them to anyone. This is not my first purchase of something for Ashley that was absolutely garbage. I definitely learned my lesson this Time
Visited yesterday (July 21st) with my boyfriend to purchase a sofa. Shortly after arriving found one that we liked and asked one sales consultant about pricing for delivery and if they were able to deliver out of state. She came back and told us that they offer next day delivery so I could get the couch delivered in Orland before I moved and therefore didn&'t need to ship it out of state. She also said that they had the couch in stock at the warehouse so I could pick it up if I didn&'t want to get it delivered. She stepped away and another sales consultant came over,who had greeted us at the door. He told us they don&'t offer one day shipping and that it wasn&'t in stock at the warehouse and the earliest date I could have it delivered was July 27th. I asked how much delivery would be out of state since I would be moved out by the 27th and he said $199. At this point I was getting frustrated and confused why nobody seemed to know what was going on. After pointing out that both of them told me two completely different things within a matter of 5 minutes, I was treated rudely and decided to leave as I did not want to give them my business. I visited the Ashley in Orland and had a much better experience there and decided to place my order with them. The manager at Orland mentioned that they don&'t ship out of state and that he&'s not sure why the other sales consultant would have told me that. Bottom line: the sales consultants all need to be on the same page!! There&'s no reason that 2 consultants should be giving me different information literally minutes apart. And not to mention how rude they were when I started asking questions about the disparities in what they were each telling me. Will never visit this location again!
Started with the salesperson who was new. He was kind and did his best. However, when he had a question, the manager was rude and impatient with him in front of us which is very unprofessional. I kept telling our sales person that he is doing a great job and that things happen when you&'re new and you ask questions and that&'s how you learn. His boss could have learned from him how to treat customers. When our order was supposed To be delivered, they came and over an hour BEFORE their scheduled 4 hour window. Normally this would be a good thing, but arriving so early without a courtesy call lead to a chaotic morning.
If I could give this store 0 stars I would. The customer service is absolutely terrible. While you're getting a great deal on "okay" quality furniture, dealing with the leadership of this store is not worth the savings. Then when you try to climb up the ladder you are given the general customer service number and you'll be on hold for 45 minutes plus. Save your sanity and go to Bob's.

Very disappointed to pick up an extremely light table and employee in the store would not help me get it to my car. Table was lighter than a card table. Receptionist stated "I don't know why you would pick up today. There is no one in Warehouse". I was instructed someone could help because the object was light. Poor customer service upon pick up of items.
Manager Starr was an AMAZING help from begining to end of my experience. I would like to add that there was a wonderful sales rep that helped me out a week prior before I came in for my final purchases. There a store that are quality driven with the up most REPSECT for their customers. If you have even a slightest issue they are there to fix anything to make the sale 100% win and make sure your getting quality products. Prices are perfect and quality is amazing. I've done many places and searched many stores but this store suits honestly any picky buyer. Great products, great people and best of all GREAT EXPERIENCE & THANKS TO THE HELP OF STARR I was 100% pleased on all levels!
Just sat at home a WHOLE DAY waiting for them to come out. At 5pm i called and they said they didn't have their people in my area and was SORRY that they scheduled a tech when none was available. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars and will no longer EVER shop at a Ashley store ever again. Their products are nice but the customer service (Technical support / warranty fix people) is worse than Cable/Satellite hell they are worse than used car salesmen. 1 star because i cant give 0. Oh and partical board for part of the recliner not cool.

Gary was very knowledgeable and thorough when preparing our orders. He spent time answering our questions and doing all he could to get the best price for is. It took a while to break our order up for different delivery dates, but we are pleased. My eye caught a bedroom suite as we were leaving so I may be back very soon. Good experience. Thanks Gary!

Nice selection of furniture. My only issue was I was in the store basically by myself and never had anyone offer assistance or ask me if I had questions. I was surprised as I had such a great experience at the Ashley Outlet.

I went into ashley furniture looking for a very specific mattress. I was greeted by a salesman named Gary he took me back to the mattresses when I asked about the one I had in mind he advised me they did not have those at that store. He was very polite and never tried to push me on something I didn’t want. Although I was not Able to make a sale with Gary I very much appreciated his time and patience! It took 4 attempts to get a full bedroom set delivered without any defects. When trying to reach the Joliet Store, they were nothing but rude. The only thing I got was a $50 giftcard in the mail and the delivery fee taken out.4 Deliveries which meant 4 days sitting 4 hours waiting for them to come on a Sunday. I felt bad being upset with the delivery guys because it&'s not their fault. The 2nd time they came to put up the mirror on the long dresser and the guys who came didn&'t have the right tools/equipment....so that was another date to be scheduled.The reason why I chose Ashley Furniture was because the Delivery Date was the soonest and the bedroom deal was great but the Customer Service at the Joliet store was horrrrrrible!!! The whole set should have been free with all the time I had to take off to wait for the delivery. Why would I want to use a $50 giftcard to go back? What am I going to possibly use it on. They don&'t own up to the fact that they made a mistake, instead they made me feel crazy. Not even Corporate was any help. I understand once or twice but 4 times!!! Never again.

Have never been to a store that allows a sale over $4000 wall out the door because the purchase was going to be a house warming gift purchased by someone out of state for our new house in Plainfield. They Insisted that they physically needed the credit card in order to proceed with the purchase, or, open a line of credit and have the people who were purchasing the items pay us back. Thing is, to open a line of credit is to take a chance of our financing for our home financing to fall through. Negative star review.

We got a great deal on the furniture. Though it took over 2 hours from start to finish since we got financing.
Update: They did right by us and we now have a complete couch as we ordered. I am happy with our purchase and after the initial bumps in the delivery process it all went down smoothly in the end. Thank you! We will be happy to shop here again. Older: DO NOT BELIEVE THE DELIVERY DAYS. We were told two weeks. Scheduled a day, the warehouse called and had to push back the date two more weeks. Then two weeks later they called again (leaving a voicemail that was completely unintelligible due to fast talking). After some supersleuthing my way into a phone number I deciphered that yet AGAIN we will be delayed another two weeks. We could have kept shopping and found something somewhere else. I wouldn't have even minded had they been up front about a longer delay. Don't tell me 2 weeks, then delay it by 2 weeks twice more. Math bro. That is 6 weeks, and we aren't even actually sure if we can believe that. Here is a pictue of me on my new couch. Our actual store experience was WAY better than the past, however. But now, in hindsight, it just feels like a lie. **updating: two days after posting this they made a very kind gesture to let me have most of my couch delivered in a few days (since we are only waiting on one piece). I am very appreciative of this, and am starting to feel better about this. Fingers crossed this happens. Old review from 2019: I think the main reason I don't go furniture shopping is because of the furniture sales people. Look, if I'm going to buy a couch I'll buy a couch I don't need you to harass me to do so. Actually, I'll do the exact opposite just to prove a point.
Still keeping this a 3 star rating , but here's why... My purchase was made with the help of Briana, who's an absolute 5 🌟 employee. She went above and beyond on all measures involved. If I could separate my rating between Brianas help ( 5 stars all day ) and the P&D department ( 1 Star ) , I would. I had to wait a month past my scheduled pick up date , and never got an answer as to why . They never even called me to tell me I'm not getting my purchase on the agreed upon date . No updates on any part of this transaction for a month. But Briana being the Rockstar that she is stepped in , got it handled, and 1 week later got my furniture 💪.
