Don’t shop here, unprofessional, have no concept of customer service. Bought a piece of furniture, sales person gave us a delivery date, never heard anything. Called the store on delivery date for a status, was told only a manager could set a delivery and we should have called the delivery service to schedule. Made no sense, obviously we cancelled the order, they aren’t in business to make sales, not sure what they do there but not furniture sales. Stay away.

My fiancé & I stopped in to price furniture. We didn’t plan on buying, but our sectional was getting a little run down. Shelly greeted us at the door, let us know about current promotions, & left us to browse at our own pace. Generally, we try to avoid places like Ashley, because we have had bad experiences with high pressure sales people at similar establishments, so it was very refreshing to be greeted, but left to browse on our own terms. I realize that some people need extra guidance, but it turns us off when we get pushed to make decisions. We took our time & found some options, & eventually found a mangers special that we couldn’t turn down. Shelly talked us through protection plans & delivery options. Even though we told her we intended to pay in full for the sectional we chose, she took the extra couple of minutes to show us what financing looked like if we wanted to take advantage. Even though we did not take her up on it, we still appreciated the extra effort she put in to making our purchase as painless as possible. Something else we really appreciated, was that Shelly talked to us both throughout the process. We have had experiences in the past with other large purchases, where the sales person spoke directly to me when it came to the final decisions & didn’t take my fiancé’s opinion in to consideration. While we do have the “traditional” dynamic, with myself as the main breadwinner, we still make all of these decisions together & Shelly made sure we were both a part of the process. We truly appreciated her service!

They sold us a bad mattress. We called and they said to come and we could choose a new one on them. We went back and they tried to convince us to spend an additional $800. When we refused to spend more and opted for one that would be covered by the credit, they told us they made a mistake and we actually didn’t qualify for a replacement. It was all a big game. We had moved from the area and had drove back for the free replacement. Absolutely disgusting sales behavior. Opt for Big Lots across the street.

We purchased floor model ottoman/end tables set and were told it would be wrapped before we picked it up. When we arrived to pickup, none of the items were wrapped. When I asked the store manager about it, he didn't even acknowledge I asked the question. We didn't live locally and had to drive 250+ miles with the furniture completely unprotected. We were so thrilled to find this set, but service after the sale isn't good. Store manager seemed uninterested. Bryce was a good salesperson.

Gladly took my money and even financed with them all to find out they never even scheduled the delivery of my items… $5000 later and no furniture. I have a guest coming and I’m without my furniture because I sold them thinking I’d have my new items in time… and the best they could do was get my furniture delivered five days after the date they said they would. Now my guests have nowhere to sit and they gave me nothing in return for the inconvenience except for “I apologize”. How do you take someone’s money and not schedule a time to deliver their purchase? The store manager was the one who made the sales. Not okay. Let me not forget, I have to make a separate trip to the store to pick up my”free” items (perk of buying an expensive mattress), because the store manager Eric doesn’t trust that I will do my part and return it if I’m not satisfied with the mattress. Funny, given the situation.

So over this store! Our sales person was good but our bedroom set was missing the phone charger 8 weeks later we finally got it. Now we are waiting on our couch so we r sitting on the floor because it was suppose to be delivered today 3/25/23 I even called yesterday to verify it was in and would b delivered with the weather. The lady said yes it’s been here for a week and we deliver rain shine or snow. Now we get a call and can’t have our delivery as it snowed and they already have the truck for tomorrow booked. Now I have to wait longer Monday or Tuesday for my furniture. They need to get it together. Such an inconvenience and no one even called to say our furniture was here!

I ordered the “Bolanburg Dining Table and 4 Chairs and Bench Set” the bench came damaged and I called customer support they said they will replace it. I waited over a year for the new bench and it came damaged again. That set is 1,400$ and this is what I get? I never contacted them again because I figured it was useless at this point. Deff do not recommend buying from Ashley furniture.

I visited here at 7:00 p.m., on 11/29/22. I walked in and there were three workers, all on their phones, one female asked how I was, after she put her phone down and I was about 10 feet past her. As I walked through the store, I noticed at least two other employees, get off couches, while on their phones, and go directly to the back, out of sight. I knew then, I would not give this business a penny of my money. As I was leaving the store, the only people visible was a female, on her phone, at a desk in the middle of the store, and an employee at the front, who hadn't budged, moved his feet out of the way, or gotten off his phone. Spend your money elsewhere.

We had some slight damage from our last delivery & even though it did take a little while to get the repair scheduled, the repair & the guy who did it were top notch & left our wall in better shape than before the damage! We ended up needing a couple exchanges also & that couldn't have been simpler either.

Their furniture is nice I bought from them before but I had to take 2 stars off because they don't take your old furniture away but they do go through Once Again Furniture but you have to pay for it & that place will not take it if it's marked up so before you purchase something from Ashley make sure you can get rid of your old furniture first.

I really don’t think I will ever buy anything from them again. Terrible customer service! I bought 4 bar stools from them and about 4-5 months later they started falling apart. Have had 2 service calls to put them back together BUT that didn’t help! Fell apart and fell off of one! Then dealing with them for MONTHS AND MONTHS and with corporate also. Here we are 6 months later and still nothing! Yes I have talked to the manager in Moline, more than once and corporate many times and still nothing. This is a very bad way to run a business!! And won’t give me my money back! I guess the next step is my lawyer! They can also pay for my Dr bill from when I fell!

He went back and forth checking prices and items for us in the storage and making sure everything we wanted would be available. Our only complaint about the couch is that the ottoman has been slouching off the edge of the stand. We love the couches and loved the experience.
Shelley was a very good salesperson, very patient and concerned with her customer. They did not have their office employee and the printer was down. She powered on, did the paperwork, ran to the desk answering the phone, back again to sell me a sofa on the floor.

I think their stuff is really cute, but I've walked through the store twice this week trying to find new furniture for the house I'm purchasing next month, and wasn't assisted by a single person. Saw plenty of salespeople sitting around and talking on their phones, but everyone was apparently too busy to help me. Looks like I'll have to go somewhere else where the sales people are helpful.

There's a saying: "Quality, Price, Speed, you can pick two." At most businesses it's normally true, but somehow I got all three at Ashley. I was able to get a great couch at an amazingly low price. It looked like it was going to take a while to get it in stock, but thanks to Shelly's diligence and an almost imperceptible color change I was able to get it in a week (it actually could have been faster, had I been available to receive it). Besides walking in and not being greeted until it was obvious I was there to buy a couch they did a great job on the front end of business..the couch purchased however had not even held up after 1 year. Couch cushions have torn repeatedly. We finally caved and used our warranty to get it fixed and 2 DAYS LATER the couch is fraying again. The quality of this furniture has diminished substantially from what everyone had always wanted and raved about. Me, I'm having trouble seeing what the hype was about.

I left the below review on Slumberland’s home site and I do not recommend Ashley Furniture!!! The sales staff was excellent (RJ Scherbarth). Upon entering the store we were greeted by RJ with a big smile and a welcome to our store and if there’s anything I can do just let me know. ( Now having just left Ashley across the street who had 4 people standing behind the counter BS-ing and not a one of them looked up to even acknowledge us and than we waited several minutes for one of them to come over to our area so we could ask questions about a product however that never happened as they were to busy visiting with each other so we left) With that being said we were over joyed by the way we were greeted by RJ. Then he was very knowledgeable of the item we were looking at and very helpful in getting us the best deal, in fact he matched a competitors price on one item.. Ashley Furniture - Moline IL Makayla - Assistant store manager Lexi - customer service repeat customer - furnished living room, dining and bedroom only giving 1 star to make this post otherwise it would be negative ⭐️ Worked with Makayla on several different purchases and ended with a good experience. Purchased a king size mattress that was defective. I was given store credit to replace the defective mattress. after receiving the replacement within a week I knew it was not a good fit comfort wise. I requested to exchange and was asked if I had purchased a mattress cover for the replacement mattress. I explained that a mattress cover had already been purchased for the first defective mattress which was less than a year old. I was told that because I did not purchase a 2nd mattress cover with the replacement mattress I was unable to do an exchange. the reason for this is because if I had bought their meaning Ashley’s mattress cover then Ashley would be able to resell the mattress! please help me understand how in the world would that be ok to resell a mattress in these times with Covid, 2nd of all what if I had bought the cover but didn’t put it on how would you know??? but you would still resell it! that’s wrong in every way! this was just an excuse not to except it back. we lost out on money spent but ashley lost out too because I would not spend another dime in that store again. my other issue is the poor customer service Lexi provided. your customer service is as only good as the organization. the CSR was rude, did not listen too one concern and over talked me the entire time. I asked to speak to a manager and waited for 15 minutes on hold then transferred back to the store. I then requested a call from the DM to get a call and be told that they do not do the “he said, she said thing” called the store to come to the conclusion that excepting the mattress back would not be a win for Ashley. this was the short version and I tried to explain the best I could for reviewers to get the gist of the complaint. unfortunately there are not many furniture store options in my area. I will be glad to shop online or visit the neighboring state and spend my money there.
Ashley did it again. We revieve a coupon in the mail for $50.00 off any order over $100.00. No whwre on the coupon does it state excludes anything, just $50.00 off a $100.00 purchase. We arrive atvthe store with cpupon in hand, with the goal of purchasing lamps for our new home. Salesperson comes up and asks us how she can help. We explain to her we have a coupon and would like to use it on some lighting for our home. We know we can not use the coupon online as that is clearly stated on the coupon. She allows us to look we find a set of lamps we like we tell the salesperson we would like to purchase them. She takes them to the counter rings us up after 10 minutes of having log in issues with the computer. She tells us our total, we remind her of our coupon, she pjones someone asking if we cannuse the coupon. The person on the other side of the phone line states we can not use it on accessories. I ask for the coupon back. I read and reread the coupon inform the salesperson no where on the coupon does it state that. She asks if we still want the lamps and i say no and walk out. Final draw for Ashley furniture, after having no customer service again. We have a house to fill with furniture, we have spent a couple of grand thus far with Ashley, after this no thank you. Lazyboy will continue to get our business, a bit higher pricing but great quality furniture, on time delivery and overall great customer service.

She allows us to look we find a set of lamps we like we tell the salesperson we would like to purchase them. She takes them to the counter rings us up after 10 minutes of having log in issues with the computer. She tells us our total, we remind her of our coupon, she pjones someone asking if we cannuse the coupon. The person on the other side of the phone line states we can not use it on accessories. I ask for the coupon back. I read and reread the coupon inform the salesperson no where on the coupon does it state that. She asks if we still want the lamps and i say no and walk out. Final draw for Ashley furniture, after having no customer service again. We have a house to fill with furniture, we have spent a couple of grand thus far with Ashley, after this no thank you. Lazyboy will continue to get our business, a bit higher pricing but great quality furniture, on time delivery and overall great customer service.

We purchased a sectional from here last year, and I’ve never experienced such poor communication, customer support, and to top it off poor quality. We first ordered our sectional and ottoman in the beginning of November and were told that we would have it in two weeks. Two weeks go by with no word from them. I call to check on the status of our order and they then tell us that the order will take an additional two weeks to come in because multiple pieces of the sectional were on back order. They schedule the delivery and on the day of delivery we receive a call stating that they are unable to deliver a piece of our sectional because they forgot to attach the feet and were unable to order just the feet separately. They delivered the other pieces of the sectional covered in styrofoam pieces and one piece did not have the fabric stapled down properly on the under side. We had to wait an additional month for the last remaining piece of the sectional and for a new piece to replace the piece with the poorly stapled backing. Now here we are not even 1 year of owning this sectional and the fabric is so cheap that our dog’s nails have gotten caught on it in three different places and has ripped the material. A complete communication nightmare, and clearly not the quality furniture that they claim. Save yourself the headache and shop for furniture elsewhere.
Great prices and great salesman, however overall communication has been poor to nothing. Ordered many pieecs for our new home. We were told a date when the furniture would arrive, with the understannding of CoVid, we knew it would be longer. 6 weeks tovthe date we were suppsoed to get the furniture, no phone call or returned calls to the messages we left. Went to the store confronted the salesman and he was very apologetic. Returned our delivery fee and delivered the pieces of furniture that were in. We were given another date to when the rest of our furniture would be in. Delivery robo called stating furniture would be dleivered in 10 15 minutes.....Delivery guys show up with only 2 of the 4 pieces, delivery guys give info stating we should have received a call. Bottom line, Ashley will take your money and forget about the customer, they provide no communciation or keep u informed as a customer to what is going on with your furnitute. We understand there are back orders and with the pandemic deliveries will be slow, with thatbin mind do not give delivery dates and assurance furniture will be there.Goingnon 10 weeeks and still dont have our complete sets.
I purchased a Tempur-Pedic flat low-profile (5") queen foundation from Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Moline. The product was in stock and the delivery was quick. I would not hesitate to order furniture from this location in the future. The salesman (Brandon) was very helpful and professional. He even recommended a bed frame manufactured by Glideaway in St. Louis. I had never heard of Glideaway before and am very pleased with the product. Thank you, Ashley !!

Finally, about to receive my couch tomorrow so I cannot speak about the delivery process. However, my time with Ashley has been frustrating. I went into the Ashley store about 7 weeks ago and they had great deals on their couches (almost all of them were 40% off) so I purchased one. The salesman gives me a 2-4 week ETA and all was well. 4 weeks pass, and I haven't heard anything from Ashley. So I have to call THEM and they tell me they have no idea why the salesman told me 2-4 weeks it should have been 3-5. Another week goes by so its the end of the 5th week. Guess what? Once again didn't hear anything so I call them. Turns out that the manufacturing facility is bottle necked and they tell me Mid-July, but there is a shipment coming in later that week so it could be in soon. Just to segway off of that statement, it was almost as if they had no idea what was coming in on their delivery trucks, like it was a guessing game and a surprise to what furniture they were getting. In this day and age I don't see how they couldn't know what furniture they are receiving on a delivery. Turns out my couch was on that delivery and I should get it tomorrow.My main issue is that Ashley never once reached out to me to let me know that the ETA is going to be longer than what I was told and that I always had to reach out to them. Not good customer relations if you ask me. I also understand a pandemic is going on and that wait times are longer, but instead of just repeatedly telling me one more week I would have been happier being told a longer wait time from the start rather than just telling me one more week.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever had. Have been trying to get our 4 month old bedframe fixed or replaced for a week and have not been able to find a resolution. Any level of communication would be an upgrade to what you guys have offered.
For a WHOLE WEEK at this point we have been dealing with a broken bed frame. When I finally had someone call me back earlier today they were going to get the parts to fix from the warehouse and call me back to schedule a time for a tech to come out. I was under the impression that I would hear back shortly. It is now 5 hours later and I have had no further contact. This has been the absolute worst customer service I have ever received. How is it so hard to have communication? This has been beyond frustrating. After this sort of treatment I will be looking to make future purchases elsewhere.
We just recently purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture. Mikaela Schmidt was our salesperson and she couldn’t have been better. She was polite, friendly and very helpful! Very patient, answered all our questions. When we came back to finish our application for financing with Synchrony Bank, Angelina Martinez helped us. Synchrony said it was ready to be approved but we had to go to a website, make a short video and scan his drivers license. They kept making him do it over and over. Angelina called them back and did everything but stand on her head to get them to cooperate. She had the patience of a saint. We ended up telling Synchrony we were not going to do business with them. What a nightmare. Angelina then did an application to Wells Fargo and in less than 5 minutes had it all approved! .

Sales person Megan was awesome but communication as a company is lacking. We were suppose to have a sectional, ottoman, a couch, and another ottoman delivered. All were in stock (which was a big deal and didnt order a different couch because it was back ordered) and spoke to a delivery scheduler while in store. Scheduled delivery for 5 days later as it was the soonest they could deliver. No worries right?... come Wednesday we get a call. One of the ottomans is not in stock and wouldn&'t come in until the following week. Okay... that&'s fine I guess as long as we get our couch. Well, delivery truck showed up and there were two ottomans and one couch. The other couch (sectional) not on the truck. When questioning the delivery guys (one in particular) he said &"you can call them when we are done-we are a long way from home and want to finish&". The other two gentlemen were very nice but Father Time (as he will be known) was rude. Get a different job if you don&'t like it. They showed up in a enterprise truck and basically contracted out by Ashley Furniture. We called the store and customer service to get an answer as to what happened. One person said it was damaged upon arrival and another person said it missed the transfer. We called both Friday and Saturday and was told the person that knew what happened would return Monday. I am surprised for Ashley being such a big company that they rely on ONE person to know anything. God forbid if they were sick or quit, then they would really be in a pickle!We get a call today and the couch is getting transferred from the warehouse but the earliest delivery is Saturday-- so it takes almost two weeks for an &"in stock&" item to be delivered. Each person we spoke to were nice enough but there was no resolution-- spending thousands of dollars in a store that will happily take your money but not deliver on their promise. My wife and I stopped into the Moline store to price bedroom sets and mattresses. We were approached by salesman James Brooks. He asked if we were looking for anything in particular and we said we were just looking at bedroom sets to see if we liked anything. We noticed a sale of 20% .He told us that there was also another 20% off that. We thanked him and he left us to our looking. We liked that he didnt hover and pressure us. We left the store to do some additional shopping. On our way out to head home we stopped back to look at the mattresses and James greeted us and asked if we had any questions about the mattresses. We asked if he could quote a set for us and he did and told us to try out a few to see which we were interested in. James is not pushy. He is very friendly and after spending some time with him we decided to go back and look at a couple bedroom sets and ended up picking one and a mattress. Would highly recommend James to anyone looking to buy furniture. The paperwork didnt take long either and the girl helping with the paperwork and the manager were really nice too. We will definitely buy here again!

I found an Ashley mattress on amazon that I liked and decided to go into the local store (Moline) to buy it instead of on amazon to support local business. But they didn’t have that one in stock. The salesman then said there was one at another store. I asked if they could get one and they didn’t seem like they wanted to make the effort so looks like I'll be buying something else on amazon.

Let's start with my experience with James. He was my first salesman I worked with. I walk in in literally some SpongeBob pajama pants, a cut off t-shirt and some bad bed head. I don't look like I can afford a a chair much less 3 sofas. That didn't stop James from approaching me as soon as I get in the door. He attended to me like I was wearing a Versace Suit. He got me the best pricing anyone has ever given me at Ashley Furniture (mind you I've been buying from Ashley for 8 years from Virginia to Iowa to Illinois). He was able to secure me three sofas (amazing condition) for under $1000 with free shipping. I came back in a little over a month later to furnish my 4 bedroom house I just closed on. James wasn't there so Bobby helped get a furniture package together for me. Great guy, very helpful and very understanding. James wrapped up the same with his trademark great pricing and I was out the door with a plan for delivery of over $5000 in furniture. We've had a few issues with delivery (contractors they have no control over) and Young the manager has gone to great lengths to correct and even compensate for any and all issues I encountered. Two months ago I bought an Chime 8" Twin Mattress in a box. James Brooks is the best salesman I've had a pleasure to deal with, I came knowing what I wanted and we got the sales order made and me out the door pretty fast. I'm starting to wish I would have let him sell me on a 10" instead because of what I ended up with. Unfortunately I had to pick up my 8" Twin Mattress in Davenport since they didn't have it in stock at the Moline store. I figured it wouldn't be any big deal and it wasn't until I got home and followed the mattress guidelines in getting it set up only to find out that something wasn't quite right about it. No matter how much time passed the mattress didn't fully expand like my brother's mattress and they were supposed to be the exact same mattress. It doesn't even feel like it has the correct amount of springs in it, I'm pretty sure it's a defective mattress because my brother supposedly has the same mattress but his feels like it has two layers of springs in it and mine feels like it only has one even though they're the same model number and everything. I was told when picking my mattress up that if there was any issues with the bed I'd have to pay to have it shipped somewhere for them to look at it and all this complicated nonsense. So I guess I'm stuck with a lemon because I can't be without a bed and I'm not paying to have it shipped anywhere.
I am blown away by the service I received today. This is the first set of furniture that I have bought brand new and I had a lot of questions. Luckily my sales person, Alissa, answered all of my questions that I had. She was very knowledgeable about the products they had in the store, the delivery dates and the whole process. I wasn't planning on buying today but the sale they had was too good to pass up. I then went over to the mattress section and started talking with Young, who is the store manager. Even though I didn't end up buying a mattress, I feel like I left with the knowledge I will need when I decide to make that purchase. I felt well taken care of. Thanks Alissa and Young! Inflexible delivery schedules, with no solution or resolution. I ended up getting a refund because they became too hard to work with getting an acceptable delivery day/time slot. Management at the store and delivery service failed to adjust a delivery even after promising me they could make my schedule work when I bought the furniture. Just be aware of this if you’re having furniture delivered.
Had a problem that accrued at a diffrent store and chose to take my business to thr moline store and i was empressed in james smiths customer service. Will go there from now on

We didn't expect to buy anything but we were blown away! We were over an hour from home, our local store didn't have what we wanted, and the minute we walked in the door, it was like Bobby Died read my mind! We found the perfect set in minutes!! Plus, he got us a great deal, financing and shipment in just a few days! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back to see Bobby in the future for our furniture needs!
Funny when I go in wearing my suit and tie every sales person in the store talks to me and has sold me couch love seat and bed.. but when I come in wearing work clothes they stare and follow like I'm gonna rob the place and won't speak... Won't spend another dime there.. sad part is went to buy a new 2300 dining set!
Walked in and was immediately hounded for my information. When you say you want to purchase something, it is the sales representative's job to make sure they write down the correct model number and other information. But because they did not deem it necessary to check to make sure, they ticketed the incorrect item. Now I did not think that I needed to double check that the correct item was ticketed (BECAUSE IT IS NOT MY JOB TO MAKE SURE YOU DO YOURS CORRECTLY), I purchased the table and picked it up myself. After carrying it up 2 flights of stairs, opening the box and realizing that it was not the table that I had wanted, I called the store and requested that they pick up the table that I hauled up myself. The store manager Jim, informed me that he cannot have someone out to pick up the table for almost 2 weeks (Having a table sitting in the box blocking the path is not acceptable). Not only that, but the table that I had originally wanted to purchase will not be delivered for 4-5 WEEKS. Jim had the audacity to assume that it would be okay to have a table in a box sitting there for that long. After refusing to send someone to pick up the table ASAP, I have resorted to hauling this table back piece by piece. After which he directed me to call their support line because (They can deal with this further) I was informed by the help line that they are not able to do any of which the MANAGER said they could. Needless to say, I will be receiving a full refund, I am going to have an extremely frank discussion with the "Manager" (Jim). I will also be contacting the store manager. Do not under any circumstances shop at this location. And if you do, please check to make sure that the sales representatives actually do their job and not jump the gun. Update: The store manager stepped in and offered a discounted price on the table I had originally requested. He went above and beyond to ensure that I received the correct table in a short amount of time.
Amy Emery at the Davenport IA store was terrific to work with (adjustable bed)! In addition, the delivery fellows, Jamie and Rob, were awesome! Another store in town couldn&'t get the same type of bed into my apartment so they took it back. Wouldn&'t even try to turn it around so they could get it in. It took them over an hour to decide they weren&'t going to bring it in. The district manager even came over to check out the situation as they had 2 others they couldn&'t get into homes that day. Something is wrong with this picture! Anyway, Ashley Furniture people are the best! A big thank you to them! PS. They were on time and very courteous!
I haven't done any furniture shopping in years. Walked into the store mostly just to look. Ended up buying several pieces. Found the sales person Bobby Dowd to be patient and helpful overall a very good experience.
Jim was fantastic. He listened to all of our concerns and suggested many great options that we loved. He gave us space when needed and when we finally decided on the couch/love seat we wanted, the sale process was quick and painless. Very knowledgable. 10/10 will go to Jim again. Went in to look around to see if I could find a bed for our guest bedroom. They didn't have what I was looking for on the floor and I was talking to one of the employees and told them what I was looking for and he was able to find the exact frame and order it for me. My husband has had 3 back surgeries and we were looking for a new recliner. Enter awesome salesman James Smith. 👍❤️ This guy was sooooooo dang helpful and tireless in finding him the correct chair. He worked with us for a good 2 hours. AND then I found a recliner ……… then my husband decided he wanted a new bed……… well then I wanted a new bed😂😂😂. Nobody likes pushy sale people and I found Jim a breath of fresh air. He understood our needs and pointed us in the correct direction. Wasn’t in a hurry and was actually quite entertaining!!👍👍. In comparison we bought a chair 2 years ago from Slumberland and that experience had me seeing red!🤬. I would refer anyone to this store; especially to seek out Jim. My boyfriend and I went in the store to look at purchasing a new matress and boxspring set....we walked into the front of store was immediately greeted at front of store asked if we needed any assistance we told the front person we didnt we was just going to look through mattress section they replied no problem right through there....we walked into the other room we was immediately greeted by the assistant manager of the store (very friendly) introduced himself shook both our hands asked our names then asked if we knew what we was looking for, our budget, what size mattress, and what firmness level we wanted we told him our price range, king, and soft also made the comment that we both have been having back pain and trouble sleeping (I've personally had 4 back surgeries) so he showed us the mattresses he had in our price range we tried a couple asking questions as we went him completely knowledgeable and answering every one we then told him we would have to shop around he told us good luck and Hope's to see us back he never once tried to pressure us into something we weren't comfortable buying.....We then went to the Davenport Ashley's store because Davenport one is closer to where we live we went into the mattress section wasn't greeted by anyone the store manager comes over after 10 mins of us looking around asked what we was looking for but doesn't really wait for an answer then takes us over to his most expensive mattress doesnt ask our names or budget or anything so we told him what one we liked at the Moline store he then proceeds to say oh I dont think I have that one (we had already found it even though wasn't a floor model) i pointed it out and he said oh wow I guess we do my boyfriend then asked how much it would be all together for one we liked he said I guess I can go check for you he then starts typeing on the computer says only have 1 in stock then quotes us a price more than what we was quoted at Moline then proceeds to say the warehouse closes in 12 mins so if you want it then u better hurry so I told the man we will be going elsewhere and we high tailed it back over to Moline where we was greeted with open arms and the manger walked us through everything we proceeded to pay and left with a new soft king mattress and box spring set that was in our budget so I highly recommend MOLINE ASHLEYS OVER DAVENPORT

I had a wonderful experience at Moline, Illinois Home Store. My salesman was Dave Dowell. He was great. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought living room furniture and a TV stand. He was very patient while I looked around and answered all my questions without hesitation. When I entered the store, Dave Dowell, greeted me at the door and immediately offered to help me. What great customer service, by Mr. Dowell. I highly recommend this store and be sure and ask for Dave Dowell to assist you. You won't regret it. I was 100% satisfied.

My husband and I came in looking for a sectional for our new home. We had quite a few questions and ended up working with a gentleman named Young. He was extremely helpful, respectful, and gave us our space as we navigated through the store. As he began to see our style, he did a great job giving us recommendations on what he thought we would be interested in. We ended up purchasing a sectional for our living room as well as a dining room table. Very great experience. Definitely will come back in the future.

This store was absolutely everything I really liked how well they worked with my budget and how they explained everything to me James was a big help he helped me with my style and was really polite and he’s just an amazing guy.

This is my second piece of furniture that I have bought from Ashley and I have yet to be disappointed . Scott was great. We had went to two other furniture stores prior and was constantly hounded to raise our price or to switch what we had in mind. I’m glad Scott wasn’t that way because we were gonna give up. He had our best interest in mind.

Bought a bed frame from them. Waited three weeks (which was expected) we got a call last Friday saying pick up days were Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. So me and my husband were planning for this Thursday no big deal right? Well we got a call from someone yesterday stating that our things are sitting in their warehouse and we need to pick up immediately. Excuse me? People have jobs and lots of things going on in life if I don’t pick up the same day it gets delivered who cares?! I will never do business here again if this is the way you speak to your customers that have already paid you!

I had the WORST experience with Ashley. If I could give them negative stars I would. I was supposed to get my furniture delivered this last Saturday. My allotted time slot was 8-11 AM. I received a call at 7:40 AM that I would be the 2nd stop. Then I received a call at 11AM that they were on the way. I then watched the truck drive by and got a call saying there wasn&'t a spot so they&'d be back at 2PM. Then I heard NOTHING- no call and they never showed up. I could not believe it. I notified my sales associate at 7:45PM and he said he&'d see what he could find out. The next day Sunday, I was told they &"forgot&" to call me back after they spoke to the police who said they couldn&'t park on the street which was a LIE. Cars were parked on the street all day and night. Every time I talked to the associate I had to call myself and it was apparent that they weren&'t very concerned about this. I expected that I would get information on Monday. After I heard nothing I called the store and asked to speak to the manager but was told he was busy. Then my sales associate called and actually said to me: I know you want to talk to the manager but there&'s nothing we can do for you and you just have to wait for delivery to call you to let you know your options. I asked what my options were because I wanted my furniture immediately and he said that isn&'t possible because delivery won&'t be able to deliver it for several days. I was furious- I should have a had a call from the manager saying how sorry they were and a resolution to how they would make this better. I ended up canceling the entire order. Even that didn&'t seem to phase them. They clearly do not care about their customers. I then got a passive aggressive voicemail from the store manager saying that he&'s sorry I was having so much trouble but there&'s really nothing he can do but to call back if I wanted. This company is so unprofessional and inappropriate. I will be filing a claim with the BBB as well as telling every single person about their horrible customer service. I wasted so much time on them- first about 4 hours when I ordered the furniture, 12 hours waiting for them on Saturday and the all day Sunday and Monday trying to figure out how to fix their mistake.

When I returned, Julisa made the ordering process easy and quick. Explained the warranty very well. The delivery was great and took just minutes to bring into my house. I will be back when I need more furniture...and will ask for Julisa. Everyone there was very nice too.

I went into the store on Jan 5th. At this time, I selected my living room furniture, which had to be shipped from another location. To initiate the transfer I made a down payment and was told I would hear from them on the 9th regarding delivery availability. I did not hear from them and called them on the 10th. The representative I spoke to informed me that the order was never placed and that the salesman entered the information wrong. Because of this, I was unable to have a weekend delivery (which was specifically what I asked for and was assured would happen). I let that slide and scheduled for delivery on the 16th (today) and had to make arrangements for someone to be home because I work during the 3-hour window that was provided, but I was not going to risk another delay. Today, HALF of my couch was delivered. They forgot an entire piece of the couch. I called the store AGAIN and absolutely no remorse or apology. In fact, the rep tried blaming me for confirming the delivery at a specific time. I am absolutely at a loss for words. So now they tell me I will have the rest of my couch in a week. So for an ENTIRE WEEK, I will be living with half of a couch that I paid for IN FULL. Someone needs to make this right.
Ray Drown was so helpful and went above and beyond with helping locate a piece for a desk I wanted to purchase. He even went to the other store to pick it up to expedite the process. Hands down best customer service I’ve ever had. Thank you!
