I arrived at the Ashley Outlet store located in Mt.Vernon, IL looking for King size bed with adjustable base. I was greeted by salesman Mike Gosnell. I have never been one to care for a salesman helping me, The approach , and help I received from Mike Gosnell was inviting, and very helpful. He was very knowledgeable of the products, and various brands of bedding available in the store that I was interested in. He worked with me over two hours. He never got discouraged at me taking so long before making my final decision on a split Tempur base and mattresses. He after two hours in bedding, he walked me through the store for a recliner chair, as well. I would highly recommend this young man if you visit the Ashley outlet store in Mt .Vernon, Illinois. Went in expecting the typical experience but Grahm was the opposite. He went above and beyond. My girlfriend and I had a discontinued bed style that we wanted a current dresser for. He found a current version of the color. When it showed one in stock but not on the floor he didn’t give up and he found it! It was extremely satisfying to not have to wait for a new one to be ordered. Price was also much lower than I was expecting. Couldn’t be happier

When we were in the store the guy we worked with seemed nice enough, it was after ordering that we had so many problems. Rude employees, broken pieces, missing pieces, and one bed was completely wrong size. I tried to be polite and work with them to fix the situation. But all they could tell me is I would be waiting another 4-6 weeks for a reorder. They didn’t even offer any type of solution to all of the issues we have experienced since ordering. After that experience I was upset and wanted to file a complaint, after reaching out to management I was told they would contact me in 3-4 business days to hear my complaint. It’s a good thing we already had furniture and weren’t having to go with out because of their mess-ups.

I received an email about a sale on the table we have been wanting , we went to the mt vernon ashley outlet and they had it in stock , after talking with Jamie we discovered that it was not priced as in the email so After Jamie worked things out with her manager we were able to get it for the price advertised andcwe loaded it up and brought it home . It was simple to put it all together and in one evening it went from box to our dining room. It is very sturdy furniture and hopefully we will get years of use out of it .

I just want to share my experience that I had at Ashley’s Outlet furniture store in Mount Vernon, Il For about a month I had been looking for new living room furniture. I had been to several furniture stores in several different places only to be disappointed that I couldn’t find what I wanted. I came across Ashley outlet furniture store in Mount Vernon through my Facebook feed. I immediately reached out to them and they quickly responded back to me by answering all my questions and giving me prices. I drove to Mount Vernon to check out the furniture, and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the beautiful furniture that they had, but also very pleased with the customer service that I received by Jamie. This girl was completely professional but yet very personal and also gave me my personal space to look around which I greatly appreciated! There’s nothing worse than having somebody follow you around in a furniture store when you’re trying to make a decision.lol. Jamie was so good at helping me pick out colors to match the furniture plus also bringing a few rugs over to see if it would match the sofa. Never purchase there again! Was charged $221. For protection warranty that I was NOT even told about or asked if I wanted! When I went back in ask sales clerk about the charge she told me EVERYONE gets that charged! But I didn't sign or Initial on my receipt! Clerk said, "don't worry you'll get your money back in 4 years!" My daughter ask on bf page about this and MtVernon's reply was I'd get INSTORE CREDIT! I DONT WANT INSTORE CREDIT! NOT GOOD BUSINESS!

I recently had neck surgery and went into the store on Monday afternoon to find a reclining chair and needed it ASAP. Jaime help me find a chair but the soonest delivery was going to be Thursday. The store manager Jerry came over and heard why I needed it and offered to personally deliver it to me that night. He showed up with Blake and got my chair set up and ready to go. Thanks you all for your compassion and excellent customer service and going way above your job to help a customer!

Took me a month to get a pillow that I was told I would have in a week the lady I talked to was super nice and apologized and hated that it was happening because it made her look bad. Before this incident I ordered furniture and was told when I paid for delivery that they would take the old furniture with that price the day comes and they tell me I'm sorry we don't do that we will only take your mattress after talking with the owner and him telling I was lieing and everything pretty much a few weeks later I get a $200 gift certificate in the mail so I went to give them a second chance and use the gift certificates and the above incident happened. Probably will never shop there agian or send anyone I know.

We just bought a new house needed all new furniture for the living room bedroom not too bad on the living room furniture that’s bedroom furniture that I showed him that I found online on the Ashley store website. They said they would price match it then come find out they ordered the same brand bed, but the headboard was different. We told him we wanted under bed storage. What a price matched me for the under bed storage with everything else that came with the whole said Yet we got it picked up today. No wonder the bed storage that’s not counting a couple of the female workers. There were very rude and disrespectful on multiple occasions rather be over the phone or in person. This is been one of the most horrible experiences I’ve ever had to endure in my life do you spend $10,000 on furniture , and it’s not even what you wanted. What a joke. The place is a joke. I really wish I went somewhere else very unhappy.

Outstanding service! I had dealt with another location that left me feeling like I wouldn’t do business with “Ashley” in the future. When I saw this particular location opened in Mt Vernon, I decided to look it over. The staff was phenomenal! This location resolved an issue I had lingering for more than a year, with the “previous location;” OH and on a Saturday!!!! This location WANTS to SERVE customers! I learned this location is a separate franchise and their leadership is growing (other locations) in Illinois etc! They have my support!!!!

Yesterday we went inside Ashley Furniture just to look to get an idea of what we would like. Salesman Tyler approached us but didn’t respond very professional when asked questions about financing/pricing etc. He acted like the questions I was asking were common sense and was just not the type of person I would like to buy from. So my husband and I left to think more on if we would like to move forward, leaving and knowing we did not want Tyler to be our sales person. This morning, we walked in ready to purchase a mattress and a new sales person named John approached us who was very professional and welcoming. After John got us approved and ready to go, Tyler approached me and said “John doesn’t know what he is talking about, he didn’t tell you that the mattress you are looking at is discontinued, but you can buy a 14 inch for more money” shrugged his shoulders laughed and said “back to square one I guess” John was a very good salesman and one we would prefer over Tyler. Thanks so much to John for helping us walk out happy! Tyler on the other hand, be better.

I'm very disappointed it will take 6-8 weeks to get my 1 purchase and 4-6 weeks to get other purchase. Purchase made 1st week of Dec 2022. HOWEVER, all other aspects were beyond great! Selection, service,pricing are awesome. John H. Was amazing sales associate. Update: Jan 2023-- called corporate Ashley today. Now says my purchases at the earliest will be end of Jan/1st half of Feb! Not acceptable! Wouldn't have purchased it here if wanted it 2-3 months later!

The store won't make it and don't buy your extended warranty. Be sure to price match everything because they will rip you off. Paid twice what Ashley sold it for online. Don't buy here you have been warned

I went to the new Ashley Outlet in Mt. Vernon to get furniture and T. R. Buck was the salesperson who helped me. He was very knowledgeable about the products and helped me pick out something perfect for my needs. I appreciate his kindness and expertise!

Thank you for being so nice. I was disappointed not getting to color I wanted. The customer service out weighed the disappointment. Online is ok, but I'm old school customer service still rules. I appreciate that!

The store is clean and easily navigated. We had to search the store for help in purchasing a sectional. No one approached us in the 30 minutes we shopped. We purchased a brand new sectional and had it loaded in our trailer. It was completely wrapped in cardboard and shrink wrapped. Turns out one of the pieces was broken and instead of replacing the broken section they are sending someone to repair it. Unacceptable business practice for a brand new, very expensive piece of furniture.

The sales experience was quick and effortless. The staff are friendly, casually professional and knowledgeable. Cassie was not only patient, but went above and beyond to make sure we left the store satisfied with our experience. I highly recommend her!!!

This location is great! Very clean and the staff is extremely helpful. Super refreshing to visit somewhere that is being run well and is focused on the customers first.

We paid over $1000 for our stuff on Sunday. The guy said they don't usually have people pick up on Sundays. My husband had to work Monday so they set it up for between 4pm and 6pm. Everything was supposed to be together and ready to pick up. He got there a few minutes after 4 and nothing was ready. The couch ended up having a tear in it and they gave us the floor model of coffee table instead of the boxed one in back room. They were rude and told my husband and his friend couldn't wait in the showroom so they had to wait outside. Might have helped if they were even a little apologetic,they were not. Never again and I won't recommend

Cassie was a great salesman. She was patient and knowledgeable on all your products. We knew the color sceam we were going for and she showed us all the options and knew exactly where things were. She was very patient with all our changes and helped us get the best value. We had some issues with financing and she went above and beyond helping us.

Cassie, our sales consultant, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the bed and recliner we were interested in. She gave us fast, courteous service and we were pleased with our store visit. We highly recommend asking for Cassie when you check out the Mt. Vernon store. Also, I recently had hip replacement surgery and do not walk very well. Cassie provided a wheelchair and pushed me around the store much to the happiness of my wife who has bad knees and could not do as much pushing of the wheelchair as Cassie did. We will definitely return to the Mt. Vernon store when we have additional furniture needs and ask for Cassie!

We visited the store and even though they are technically under a soft start, they seem fully stocked and the staff was extremely helpful. We are currently looking for a new mattress and Cassie patiently went through each of the different models and brands they had, which was an impressive amount. She wasn’t pushy towards the more costly models and extremely friendly and patient with all the questions we had, including: “how many cats do you think we can fit in this one without them attacking our feet?”. Jokes aside, I would highly recommend both the store and Cassie.
