I placed an order for a leather furniture set at the Naperville store approximately 5 weeks ago which consisted of a couch, loveseat, and chair-- over $6,000. I was not informed that the loveseat had been discontinued until ONE DAY BEFORE DELIVERY FIVE WEEKS LATER! Very upset and disappointed to say the least! Definitely not the way to conduct business! Of course I canceled my order and am awaiting a full refund [expedited] to my credit card...since I now have to start from square one in my furniture search. I moved into new construction as well, so was depending on having this furniture since i have none currently! I've had to continually follow up with Ashley Furniture about this myself. They have not been proactive whatsoever and i do not recommend using them for any purchases, especially special orders! Highly dissatisfied overall!! I am furnishing a new home but will be shopping elsewhere for all of my furniture needs.

It was ok, but Ashley makes it difficult to use any promotion you signed up for. I bought a couch and was using the warranty for 5 years. First they said I could add it to the credit card when I initially bought it, then they changed the rules on if I could use it for in-store credit and when I tried to use it, all of a sudden the system didn't work. I've spent so much money with Ashley, what about customer agreements? I'm still waiting on a call about using my store credit and how it goes, I doubt I'll get that call. I signed the sheet stating I'm using my 399.99 in-store credit, but I feel like they'll say I used it even though I didn't get anything. I just don't trust Ashley anymore because I feel like they're just saying things to sell you something.

Malika is a pro! She took a lot of time and was patient with us to select the perfect sofa for our basement. Her communication was exceptional. She texted options, measurement and prices to get us the best deal. The best thing I can say is she stayed with us all the way to the finish. We had a little snag with the delivery (this was bc of the warehouse and third party); Malika took time to call, text, explain the situation and help with a quick solution. That is the best quality in a salesperson; jumping up to help in a tough situation. We would highly recommend and definitely work with her in the future!

I was taken care of so well by Malika; she was so insightful, knew Ashley’s products well, and was able to match me with exactly what I was looking for based on my taste. We were TOLD that is going to be delivered to us in no more than 2 weeks!!!! Today is June 19th and we STILL have to wait one more month for our bed to be delivered!!!!! Ridiculous !!!!! Needless to say that the SA that was assigned to help us, was so pushy with us,forcing /propsing to us to buy more stuff ! No, we knew exactly what we came there for. I need to mention it was our 1st and last time there!!!! Update: I called them yesterday at this provided number , they had no idea who’s responsible for the person that wrote me here the “helpful “ message!!!! I called the both numbers, NOBODY helped! I will go to the store today and just cancel my order! No, I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company! 0 , absolutely 0 in customers service! They just want your business, once they made you pay for the furniture, it is up to them to decide when it will be delivered to you! Money on hold, frustration, and NO furniture in the house! I was told it takes a WEEK to be delivered. We even paid the 180$ for delivery fees!!!!

I was not pleased with my recent purchase at Ashley Furniture in Naperville, IL. I an strongly considering cancelling my order. They advertised 0% interest for 72 months, but state that the offer is only valid for in-store purchases. I picked out the items that I wanted to purchase prior to going to the store in Naperville. I get to the store and tell them that I already know what I want, we just need to process the order. They tell me that the pricing advertised online is discounted pricing and that I can have the 72 month interest free financing unless I pay what calculated to $1500 more than the purchase price of my order. I refuse to pay more than the cost of the items I want to purchase. The Ashley website stated that I could get 24 months interest free financing based on the items in my cart. The salesman and female manager in the store took 20 minutes to confirm that Ashley was offering 24 months interest free. The entire process felt like a scam and an attempt to get a much money out of my purchase as possible. They offered me drop off delivery at $300; I told them that I will pick up the furniture at their warehouse in Romeoville as their delivery fee is double the $150 delivery fee shown on the Ashley website. I haven't purchased anything from Ashley since 2017. Based on their new sales practices, I will never purchase anything from Ashley again. They have misleading advertising regarding finance offers and pricing, and they intentionally attempt to take advantage of the consumer with regard to overcharging. My recommendation is to shop somewhere else. If you decide to shop with Ashley Furniture, check the pricing on the Ashley website before you go into the store. I guarantee you will notice the pricing in the store is significantly higher. They will try to convince you that you are getting a deal, yet you will be offered a price higher than the pricing on the website. This is my 100% honest experience. The choice is yours at this point.

Malika at Ashley's Furniture in Naperville provided exceptional service. My wife and I came in looking for a new mattress and were overwhelmed by the choices. Malika patiently explained the features of each mattress, including the different fillings and technologies. She helped us find the perfect Tempur-Pedic mattress, which we hadn't even considered before. Malika also helped us understand the different financing options and find one that fit our budget. She stayed late to ensure we found exactly what we needed, even though the store closed at 9 pm. We left around 10 pm, and she was helpful and patient throughout the entire process. Bad customer service, never again there i,just was talking to one of sakes lady to finalizing order quotes that should be over 7000$, suddenly the rude manager ask here to leave me abd go great other customers ???? I was shocked looking around it's never ever happened to me before, after standing I was looking around, then the weird manager said we'll I send here to get other people, I was shocked I just left ,I am not sure if your headquarter will be happy about that! You could move from your fancy chair and do you work men.

I was told that all the items that I'm ordering are in stock and will be delivered within 10 days. But after placing the order, I received an online notification saying that items are in back order and will not be delivered by the date promised by the store staff. Unpleasant experience.

Lady was great who helped up

Customer service is lacking. The employees are super territorial so if you ask the nearest person a simple question because your greeter employee is busy with someone else, they refuse to help you or your original employee stomps over and makes passive aggressive comments to the other employee, which is really uncomfortable. Secondly, don’t expect a call back in a timely manner. Thirdly, once you give them your money, all employees magically disappear and leave you to navigate out the door after saying they would at least hold doors for you, minus of course the one woman who stood back hiding behind a different couch watching us customers struggle. At least some of the doors were propped open before the disappearing act but after we came back in to return their equipment, we found the doors were shut right behind us. I would’ve let the rest go and not bothered with a review if this purchase hadn’t ended so poorly.

I spent 6+ months talking with, emailing texting and being given the run around with Ashley DSG after purchasing several pieces of furniture from Ashley Homestore at 1584 South Rt. 59, Naperville, Illinois. The 3 seat sofa recliner does not work properly. I’ve asked and nearly begged for a Technician to come out and repair but Ashley will not cooperate. Had I known Ashley produces inferior products and refuse to stand behind that product(s), I absolutely would not have purchased. The Better Business Bureau was involved, to no avail. Two thumbs down 👎👎 on the durability of your products, your poor customer service and customer satisfaction.

Prices are reasonable , products are cool. Manager and sales representative are kind and helpfull.i stopped by just to have a look and purchased all my furniture for a new house in 2 hours total including paper work. The pictures show my purchases. 😊

I went into Ashley’s for the first time and I had an amazing experience and it was all thanks to Maria! From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I was looking for the perfect sectional, and she took the time to understand my style, space, and budget without ever making me feel rushed or pressured.

Ordered a 2 piece sectional. They delivered half and never alerted me the 2nd half was discontinued. They then claimed they would not take back the half they shipped without telling me would be incomplete. What a hassle and poor service all around.

Frank was so helpful and not pushy, which I appreciate. He gave me great customer service and wasn’t just concerned about making a sale. He was friendly, honest, and efficient.

sale lady was great but when I came home, I don't know what happen but I'm not sure if they clean their beds display but ever since I lay on some, I came home and found lice in my hair, I have never had this experience before till I came back from their store... please clean the beds or check if theirs bugs because seriously I got ptsd from this, so paranoid that I can't sleep. I make sure to kill it instantly once it happened.

The saleswoman in the store was great. The rest of the experience was terrible. The first part of my order was delivered a month later, but a key piece of my couch has not come yet making it useless. The delivery team damaged my home, and Ashley pawned the problem off of their contractor. They are denying the damage claim, so if I want to pursue it, I have to go to court. I can't afford court costs. So now I have to fix the home damage myself. Ashley billed me for the pieces they delivered, but useable because I'm missing a key middle piece of the couch. Two months later, called again and they "apologized for the delay" multiple times, but still no furniture. Supposedly they are supposed to deliver more on Thursday, we'll see what I get. I won't be ordering from them again. I tried to cancel my incomplete order and was told all sales were final. It's not final until I receive my products.

I normally don’t post many reviews unless I’ve a really good or really bad experience. Unfortunately we wanted it to work with Ashley here in Naperville but it just did not. We purchased two expensive sofa sets for our new home. We worked with Maria who by the way was amazing to work with. She really spent time with us to figure out what to buy and was patient and helpful. After we got one of the sofa sets delivered to our home, it looked very big and bulky. We knew the Ashley policy is no exchanges or refunds, however sometimes they would make branch dependent exceptions. We called to see if our sofa set could be exchanged, and the manager Wally Hassan told us we could if we made other purchases as well (we needed two bed sets and a dining table.) We came back a week later (we were out of town for my brothers wedding) to find what we wanted to buy so we could get the sofa set that was delivered exchanged. The manager was not there so we worked with Maria to see what we liked and wrote it down. We returned the next day. The manager Wally Hassan who had originally promised us we could do the return said he did not remember promising us that, kept repeating the policy of “no returns and no exchanges” and ultimately said he could not help us and walked away. Maria apologized and said he had told her if it was a few days after the purchase, the exchange would be possible but not 2 weeks after, and she didn’t know that herself, and wish he had told her so she could’ve communicated that to us. We appreciated Maria’s transparency with us and kindness throughout the process, but unfortunately the manger was very rude and did not fulfill his promise. If we had known originally that there was a timeline, we would’ve expedited the process of exchange as well. Ashley Naperville has lost future business with us. The only reason I’m giving them two stars instead of one is Maria.

The staff that we encountered were courteous and professional. I would give it a five star with exception that our sales rep (Maria Ramirez) left out a small detail that relates to the 5yr protection coverage for the furniture which is, and I quote: "If you do not make a claim in five years, you will receive a refund." She said this to me twice alone, and when my wife returned from the ladies room, she told us that, "You will get your money back. It wasn't until my purchase was approved that she mentioned that the refund will be a store credit. Not that I mind having a store credit, but it's principle of not mentioning it up front and the possibility of having a cash refund if a claim is not made. I felt deceived after my purchase.

Also can’t file with the Better Business Bureau after one year. I’m starting a class action law suit with several attorneys…. Very bad experience and product. We bought a dining table back 2 months ago. Arrived broke! 2 attempts to replace, another broken table. Still waiting for a solution.

We were greeted immediately by Melissa who took great care of us. She allowed us to walk around the store and answered all of our questions throughout the whole process.

Lana was a great sales person. She was informative, but not at all pushy. I really appreciated her attitude and her knowledge.

We were ready to purchase a couch and loveseat and extra chair and coffee table and end tables, I ask the sale person if they have free delivery she was so rude and no they don't. Don't go there.Fyi TV ad state free delivery.

I am giving 1 star because there is no option to give 0 stars. What kind of furniture store denies you return option after making same mistake twice?? They delivered the couch in severely beaten up condition.. that itself raises red flags. Then they delivered it again with stains on it. The quality is lacking in the newly bought furniture itself. We have zero trust in Ashley now. Combined with the bad experience with customer service who deny all your requests to return because “ you accepted it “ and there is no communication between delivery guys, store , warehouse so the customer doesn’t know what they are supposed to do .

I came yesterday to look at mattresses. Definitely wanted to be left alone because I hate being pressured into buying stuff!!!!! Of course the sales lady came to find us. She ran to grab pillows or something and came back in a tempurpedic t shirt. I was dying!!! Anyways she continued to follow me and pressure me into each mattress. I lost it when she kept trying to put me into a taco form and put the “massage” feature on their base. I told her multiple times I was not interested in these features. Anyways, we were trying to leave when she got on her little walkie talkie and called the “sleep expert” who appeared in a lab coat and wanted us to stay even longer to explain more things to us. The end result is we left and went to another store and bought a very expensive mattress with someone who did not pressure us and let us figure out what we wanted.

I given a higher star allowed. February/24 I bought a nice Sofa bed. It was totally destroyed at delivery. Even though I call right away at Naperville store , they denied me the right to return it (protection under manufacture warranty), allegedly because I was using financial from Synchrony Bank, my only option was exchange, after many months of waiting . They finally figured out how to do an exchange and delivered a less value , used , dirty and spring damaged sofa ,with not a chance to return or exchange , only the promise to order parts and reaching out to me for repairs. That never happened, Today, almost a year after . Synchrony Bank always refused to evaluate the situation ignoring my claims and Ashley Furniture acted dishonest and deceptive at all times , promising things just to get rid of me every time I reached out in person or over the phone. Be careful! They don’t even care about Bette Business Bureau, best practices.

Made the mistake of walking into this Ashley Store after swearing them off years ago bc their quality and customer service are terrible. Found a couch I liked. Not on sale. Wanted the loveseat too. No bundle disc. $4k if you want it. Oh but since it’s over 3900, free delivery and 0% interest. The manager comes over and tells me that they (Ashley Furn) have to pay the interest to the credit card company if I do 0% bc “nobody loans money for free” so that’s why nothing is on sale. Then he says I’m being mean by asking for a discount bc they are going to be out hundreds of dollars by paying my interest. That is NOT how that works lmao. So I start to walk out and the manager literally grabs the arm of our salesgirl (who was great btw) and says “let them walk out”. Guess they didn’t need my 4k today…or ever…it’s cool…other people sell couches.

Went in last Saturday and was greeted/talked to by Noelle right away. She was very informative and helpful. Not pushy at all. I loved how she spoke to both me and my boyfriend- it's nice to be treated equally. She got our sale, and our couch arrived today. It's great, and we loved that location and staff. We'll be back I'm sure :) ***EDIT*** I'm so sad the Ashley store posted an automated response instead of actually reading my good review. They wouldn't have confused their own employee with me if that was the case. In any event, Naperville is a good store, and corporate just outed themselves using an automated message to a new client that expressed their appreciation. Wasn't what I was expecting.

We have received the worst customer service. It is truly horrible. The lack of communication and many mistakes have been made. Still no furniture months after purchase and no idea when it will be delivered. Save yourself this frustration and shop elsewhere.

Run don't walk away from this store. If you want to buy furniture this is NOT the place for you. We ordered a sectional over 2 months ago, told it was in stock and to choose a delivery date, which we did. Never came, called the store there was never a delivery date put in for our order. We set a new date, they said it was on backorder. We waited until that date, they then delivered the wrong color. Told us correct color was to be delivered tomorrow. Went today to confirm since we received no confirmation. Turns out yet again we were not scheduled to be delivered to. Now we are told it is n backorder once again. They never bothered with communicating any of this to us. Not to mention many other mistakes were made. It has been told to me twice the district manager will contact me still haven't heard from him. The customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Would never shop there again.

Could not get a person on the phone about my order. Completely impossible. My pregnant wife had to go to the store to get any customer service. Stay away. They also do the classic slimy sales move of making you wait after you tell them what you want, just like a car dealership.

My initial experience was not good. The manager, I'm assuming ( she had a long white coat) was not so kind. She never greeted me and when she noticed I may need help, she asked which door I entered and made a point to make an excuse why no one greeted me. She said the entrance I came through was for employees only. However, there are no signs or locking doors for any patron to be told otherwise. Now after that poor encounter, I was pleasantly greeted by Melissa. Melissa was very friendly, kind, and helpful. She helped me choose a nice piece of furniture. I wasn't able to decide at first, but I came back on a Sunday and Melissa was there to help me. She remembered my name and the piece of furniture I was interested in. Melissa made up for the very rude manager who could take a few pointers from Melissa in customer service.

Terrible experience. Frank was fine but halfway through he left and palmed me off to Ben. I had to make changes to my order and had given him a heads up that I would call. Needless to say he did not take my call. Messaged me saying he’d call. Finally I had to go back in person. Anyway long story short I finally had to call the head office.

If you like to buy Tempur-Pedic mattress Please do not buy from them!The return and exchange policy is extremely opaque. They said 90 days guarantee, but just for exchange, not return!! even if the mattress is not suitable for me. I spent more than $6000, just got the thing I don’t like. Their attitude changed immediately after I bought it!

Worked with a friendly salesman to order a new bed and mattress. Unfortunately he made a mistake in the sales form, and forgot to add a part of the bed to the sales order. When the delivery occurred several weeks later, the delivery guys told us that Ashley had failed to include all the correct pieces for the bed so they left the bed unassembled. When trying to call the store for support, you can never reach the actual store or speak to the salesperson. You are simply routed to their customer service dept. which is a long wait. Pretty unfortunate and inconvenient, as we'd already disassembled and disposed of our old bed the day prior to delivery.

Edited to 1 star. Close to 3 months and I’ve finally received the furniture but we need a technician out because the condition of the product received. Our recliner makes weird noises and there’s no stability in it. Trying to arrange the technician to come in is incredibly difficult. Ashley Furniture makes everything more complicated and frustrating. I just want resolution. Coran was extremely helpful and kind. We were not pressured and felt very confident in our purchase. Edited to add, be prepared to wait forever and receive no valid updates. Trying to get ahold of any live agent with Ashley is impossible. Better off cancelling the rest of my order than wait for this to continue to be delayed, going on close to 2 months delayed now. Removed 2 stars for that, people in store are friendly but be prepared to wait.

Terrible experience at this store. Despite informing the salesman, Ben, that we were not interested, he slipped in a $1,200 protection plan to our $6,500 purchase after we had gone over all the numbers several times. This led to me having to return to the store the next day to resolve the issue. Ultimately decided to cancel the entire purchase due to the clear and blatant overcharge. If there had been any possibility of misunderstanding, we wouldn’t have pulled the business. Plus, their $500 delivery charge is price gouging at its best. We ended up getting an honest and much better deal at Macy’s.

Although we didn’t try to negotiate and were ready to pay whatever was the original price, the manager still told us that we are haggling. Unpleasant experience in all. Never going back there again.

The sofa purchased from Ashley looks beautiful, but upon closer inspection, all the flaws in the assembly become obvious. After two months of use, I discovered that the upholstery fasteners had come loose. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that half of the fastenings come off with a simple touch (photos attached). The sleeping mechanism leaves much to be desired; specifically, you sleep head down due to a 2-inch height difference in the sleeping area. The attitude of Ashley's sellers changes dramatically immediately after the sale; Our manager didn't even listen to our complaint, interrupted us rudely and said that he was not involved in this. Moreover, the return, exchange and repair policy is extremely opaque. The store refers you to the manufacturer, who, in turn, refuses to return the money for the sofa, but agrees to replace the sleeper mechanism. However, nothing was replaced in 4 months. My advice: Never, under any circumstances, contact Ashley's store. The furniture is of poor quality, there is no decent service after purchase.

Couch was delivered with multiple tears, it has been weeks and it has still not been repaired. Every time I call they 'cannot find the notes' I wait on hold 30 minutes and regularly disconnected. No end in sight for getting this fixed.

What a refreshing experience my wife and I had at the Ashley Home Furnishings store in Naperville. We walked in looking for a dining room set and were met with a friendly no pressure sales lady. (Lana) She steered us in the correct direction after asking what we were looking for and then left us alone to make a decision. She didn’t hover or pester us. Once we decided on what we wanted she came back over and gave us some options to choose from and we ended up purchasing a new dining room set. We both had a wonderful experience. We will return when we start looking for our next purchase.

If you’re looking for a smooth experience buying your next furniture piece, I do NOT suggest working with Kyle from the Naperville store. Everything was fantastic at first. Extremely attentive, a willingness to help us find a piece that really fit our needs, provided his cell phone as an extra buffer in case things didn’t go smoothly. It was short lived after the sale was closed. My furniture was delivered on time, however, we had one arm chair pillow missing. I reached out to Kyle for an update on how to proceed and he said we needed to reach out to customer service, which we did. A week later and they sent the wrong pillow (color, size, texture) and at this point it gets a little annoying having to deal with something so small and I reach back out to Kyle to get another run around that “the store manager is going to handle it as soon as she’s back from PTO”. I spoke to the store manager a few days after I was told I would hear from her and she apologized and said she submitted a ticket for a new pillow. Fast forward two weeks and Kyle blocked my phone number and when confronted in the store his response was “nothing I can do man, sorry”. Thankful for Michaelene the ASM who was diligent in getting the correct ticket submitted for the PILLOW to be sent to my house. Kyle was happy to have our business to get that commission check and as soon as we became “too needy” he decided we’re gonna be someone else’s problem. Extremely disappointed because he initially handled himself like a true professional. I will not be a returning customer and will make sure my referrals go elsewhere. Couch was purchased on the 2nd and here we are on the 30th still waiting.

We walked into the store looking for something we saw online. My wife and I will most definitely make the small trip to buy from Mr. Kyle again. Excellent service.

I bought a $4000 couch last year and spent a lot of money on the insurance. 1 year later my cushions are shot, absolutely brutal condition. Apparently this is “standard” for a couch to feel the wood between the cushions. Ashley is a joke and I wouldn’t buy so much as a pillow from them. Shout out to Malika for lying to us during the sales process about the fantastic warranty!

Went to Ashley furniture to buy a bedroom set. Our salesperson who went by the name of Scooby. Was terrific. Answered all our questions. Made sure we were buying the correct mattress for ourselves . He just made it all around easy so if You're ever in the need ask for Scooby.

We were attended by Frank Alonso. As soon as we walked in he came to greet us and showed us what we were looking for and filled us in with their promotions. He was very professional and helpful about our furniture needs. We actually went there three times before we finalized our purchase. Please look for prices on their website before you go physically to the store and buy the furniture. In store prices are much higher than web prices. Do your research before you buy.

I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable base from the Naperville Ashley Homestore. My experience dealing with Ashley Homestore representatives can only be described as a nightmare. They lack customer service and have poor delivery service. I confirmed with the sales representative from this store that the delivery people would not be from a third-party company, however, deliverymen from URLO (a third-party company) ended up delivering my mattress and adjustable base. I no longer had my bed & had already made accommodations for that specific day. WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO!?! The delivery men were reckless with my furniture and in the process damaged my hardwood floor. I attempted to resolve this issue with Ashley Homestore. If you must deal with Ashley Homestore’s customer service department, expect to get the RUN-AROUND. I attempted to communicate with the manager Bridget at the Ashley Homestore in Naperville, but was greeted several times with their phone system. When I was eventually able to get ahold of someone, they directed me to contact the customer service phone number which I already had tried. I was assured that Ashley Homestore would be able to assist me; however, over the span of two months and after several email communications, a Guest Response Team Agent had me restate my concern and resubmit photos for the fourth time. Ashley Homestore ultimately put the blame on their third-party service (URLO) and told me I would have to deal with them to resolve this issue. I don’t understand why Ashley Homestore wouldn’t provide some sort of resolution to this issue and have a customer JUMP THROUGH HOOPS to communicate with them. They are not customer service oriented and will PASS-THE-BUCK when it comes to dealing with customer issues or concerns!

Save your money, make a drive to Elgin and go to Big Lots same quality for a fraction of the price. Went in Oct. got told our couches were gonna be here Nov. 1st. They were not. Its now Nov.17 and the delivery guy had to inform me the salesman put in for 2 left pieces instead of left and right for our sectional. So another waiting game until Ashley's inept customer service comes around to (hopefully) solve this. If we're lucky we'll get it before the new year because it sure wont be for thanksgiving or Christmas with their track record!

Never buy your furniture from this location and NEVER GET ASSISTANCE BY A MAN NAMED “Scooby”. I purchased a $5000 sectional couch. And that’s not including the almost $700 delivery fees. The delivery drivers broke almost all of the equipment and then had the nerve to be disrespectful about it when my wife and I were saying that this was unacceptable. You would think spending that much money the business would actually care, but they don’t.

I was looking for a black microfiber side chair. I decided to visit Ashley Homestore in Naperville. What a grate place to shop for furniture. I was greeted by Kyle, one of the Selling Sales Managers. What a pleasant experience. Kyle, along with other members of the Ashley Store team, worked together to find the black microfiber side chair I was looking for. It had been discontinued. Working together the team found that there was only one black microfiber chair left in stock. Kyle made arrangements to have that chair delivered to my home. I commend Kyle and each member of Ashley's management team that helped me get the chair that completed my existing living room set. If I was able to give negative stars I would. My son purchased furniture from the Naperville store. He was moving to Texas. He was sent an email on the morning of the delivery that his furniture would be delivered and he would be the third stop. He then received a call from the delivery man that he was there early. My son was still traveling from Chicago and he was 45 minutes away still. The delivery driver said he couldn’t wait. This was at 830am it is now 430pm and he still can’t get a response to when his furniture will be delivered. He had to go out and buy something to sleep on. The manager at the Naperville store didn’t do anything to help when I called several times. Frank Alonzo at the Naperville store was very rude and acted like it was our fault for missing the delivery. DO NOT BUY Anything from Ashley Homestore! They have no customer service and will not help you if you have an issue and they will not call you back!

Terrible Support after Purchase !! Extremely poor customer experience, They make you feel like they will take care of you but the sales person has raised their hands. I have been a very loyal customer for years and recently I have made a purchase of around $15,000 and during the furniture delivery (Aug 16) we received a faulty dinning table and 4 wobbly chairs and got assurance from the delivery team that it will be fixed soon. I have shared the defect pictures with Ashley and after me reaching out to them again after a week, got a call from “Saw enterprise furniture Repair” after 2 weeks, who scheduled the appointment to Sept 13 to fix the issue, I have received a call from them today saying that they have to reschedule the appointment to October 13th. I have reached out to Ashley and they are not helping, Seems like I have to wait 2 month after my initial delivery to get my furniture fixed, I feel like a tennis ball going back and forth with Ashley and SAW furniture repair. Dont buy anything from here. If you receive faulty furniture they will not help you post purchase. Everything is handled remotely by Ashley and the sales personnel who were so nice during the purchase won't even bother to help. If you receive faulty furniture then I wish you luck in resolving the issue with their 3 rd part technician support. Ashley has lost a loyal customer !

Dont buy anything from here. Very poor quality and furnitures come with defects. They will not help you when you call post purchase and if you reported any defects. Purchased a recliner from them and I see paint wearing off already from the leather. The recliner has become a junk piece already from its looks. The GBS all protection which is almost $800 will not cover any manufacturing defects. The GBS agency will ask you contact Ashley store and Ashely store will ask you to contact GBS and you as a customer will be the tennis ball. Its a $6000 recliner. Dont waste your time shopping here!! As mentioned in the reply below I reached out to the sales team. No one was happy to help.

Any point in these reviews you read "We’re sorry to hear that your experience was not up to our own standards." Truth of the matter is this IS their standards. Expect faulty furniture with no exchange. The in-store experience was great! Employees were wonderful. Our couch and ottoman are great! Delivered quickly and has been great additions to our home. The TV stand however, came in rough with several quality issues. Built with cheap materials that were not used on the piece in the stores' floor display. It's like target quality but much more expensive. We've gotten approval for an exchange and yet no one will actually process it. Called the center several times in addition to going in-store within 24 hours of delivery to finalize details for an exchange. In-store we were told to call. The best they could do was put in ANOTHER order and that we will be contacted. Now about to hit the 72 hour mark from delivery, still nothing. Feels safe to assume we're stuck with what we got.

I ordered a bed for my daughter’s bedroom almost two months ago. Twice they came to deliver bed with broken pieces and I’m really upset about it!! How can’t they check if all is in perfect and good condition to deliver.?! I’m not happy missing two Saturdays of work waiting for them and not able to have my daughter’s bed yet. Please Ashley take this seriously and make customer happy. I bought all my furniture from you guys and now see that things are changing and not for good. Thanks

The worst, will never ever buy anything. Bought recliner and living room couches worth close to $3000. The recliner came faulty and did not recline. For over 3 weeks, I have been told, the technician will call to schedule to fix. Didn't happen and the store is not helping at all. Apparently, everything is handled remotely by warehouse and the sales personnel (who were so nice until the credit card swiped) won't even bother to help. I am taking this to BBB but just wanted to caution if you get anything that is not what you expect, then I wish you luck. Wanted to support local businesses but with this experience, will be better off buying online and having a handyman to put it together which is likely less expensive than their delivery charge. So NEVER EVER again.

Furniture buying is becoming like a car buying 😩 inflate the prices and then bargain. Dishonesty is at its Supreme. Online prices are cheaper than store prices, and constatly trying to sell warranty, service and finance plans. On the top of this after completing buying process I have been directed to pickup dinning table from Romeoville location with only address given to me, no phone number to check if the store is open or not. I have to Google it and still no one was picking up the phone at either store, so as per sales reps direction I decided to drive up 20 miles to pickup the dining table and found the store was open and pickup is only possible on Tuesdays and one otherday which was bummer. Now I cant cancel my order as all sales are final. Oveall very disappointing experience

Computers were down, so they couldn't schedule delivery when we were in store, still waiting on a call 2 days later to schedule delivery. Would think since they figured out how to take my money already that they can figure out how to schedule delivery. Disappointed overall

I purchased a sectional sofa for our home a little over a year ago. At this time I signed up for an Ashley credit card which was incentivized to assist in the purchase, toting the 0% APR for one year. However, in this time span we received monthly e-statements (which I don't recall ever signing up for.) Each month I would receive an email stating the minimum balance would be paid on X date, however, nothing stating the balance due. I wasn't sure when the year was up and tried multiple times to access my account online. However, synchrony is set-up in order to recover your username or password the full account number must be provided. Without the physical credit card, I was never able to access the account. I never received a paper statement and did not have the full account number. Needless to say just a few days ago I found the physical credit card, was able to recover my account and to my surprise see that the year was up a few months ago and now I had ~29% interest for the year tacked on. Nearly $1200 on a $2100 something balance. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I could have paid the balance when it was due. No one at synchrony nor the store will help me. They say I had 30 days to dispute it. The issue is I didn't know it was placed on. I believe this is intentionally misleading. I am well aware this is how synchrony makes its money, and how Ashley ropes people into making large purchases. Make it impossible to access your account and never provide you with financial information that would make someone call to question. I can't fathom after the thousands we've spent through your store that nothing can be done to remove it. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Horrendous experience with Ashley call center customer service. I’ve spent hours on the phone with numerous representatives for a refund that has been approved for over 4 months, but hasn’t been released. The Naperville store was great, god help you if you have to deal with anyone else.

Very pathetic experience with Ashley stores especially with their manager Monica. I ordered a sofa bed (set along with chairs and tables). After 4 weeks they delivered only the chairs and next day I got a call from their manager that they discontinued sofa bed and asked me to come store and reselect. I told them that they got to take the chairs from my home which i purchased as a set but Monica said she can’t do that and asked me to talk to customer care. She didn’t have any respect to listen to the customer concerns. Today she called and said I got to do Reseletion by tomorrow else I won’t get option. I said I am out of town but she doesn’t care. One of my worst ever experiences and I don’t recommend any of you to purchase anything in Ashley. If management is reading this comment / review you have to take action against Monica ( Ashley manager) otherwise you are going to continue losing business.

Melissa was a pleasure to work with as we shopped for our new mattress and bed at Ashley Furniture in Naperville. She was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to answering all of our questions and helping us find the right one for us. All of the staff at this store seemed very friendly and I would definitely recommend Melissa!

Palvi was the best couldn’t have had a better sales person ,she was nice extremely helpful . She was also very knowledgeable of every piece of furniture we saw we bought more items after we had purchased some and she helped again and added it to our order was very patient coming back to buy more stuff because of her and how great she was

Online price is ~40% cheaper than in store price Sales person was rude! Don’t remember the name but it starts with Melisha/ similar! Funny story- online price is $900, store price $1600 + 25% off 😂; when it was confronted to the sales person, she was ready to price match! When I mentioned I do have a $50 gift card from Ashley, she was not ready to apply the coupon to the total! When I said, on this scenario I will buy online itself, with the very rude tone she stated she was wasting her time on us! Ashley team: if your sales person is so busy, please don’t send them behind the customer & then complain we wasted their time; also, please don’t fool the people with huge difference in online / in store prices.

Melissa was great, my first time at Ashley home store and I feel as if everything was explained great can't wait to get my new bed.

Great selection and quality. Not pushy and was able to shop at my own pace ! Very pleasant salesperson greeted me at door.

We had a wonderful experience at Ashley furniture. And we owe all that to Malika Clark. She was very kind and sweet and on top of that she was very helpful and knew her product really well. I will highly recommend Ashley home store but more specifically Malika Clark.

The in-store experience was excellent. However, the delivery experience is poor 5 times now trying to get delivery scheduled and each time we find out some pieces are on back order or my delivery date was messed up or scheduled incorrectly. There was only one person who contacted me that I could even fully understand and did a good job initially resolving to find out later on the delivery had to be canceled yet again, due to a piece on back order. It’s getting exhausting. Trying to rearrange my work schedule to make sure I’m available for delivery that keeps getting canceled. If you are going to shop here, I would get some reassurances on delivery upfront especially when they’re charging you a tremendous amount for delivery I’m sure I’m going to get the canned answer of email me or text me your concerns at a specific number. I’m just on the fence of canceling this order and going with somebody else. It’s sad because we bought a lot of furniture here over the years.

Never purchase furniture from this store! Ordered a sectional to be delivered to my home did all my measurements delivery guys refused to use balcony to deliver furniture. No sectional out a days work have to wait 2 weeks for refund. Horrible experience!!!!

I loved how we weren't hounded the minute we walked in. It was busy so I'm not sure if it was because there were so many people or because it's now their policy not to hound. Regardless, I appreciated the time to wander freely and discuss different pieces privately with my husband. The woman who completed our sale was kind, quick, and efficient. My favorite part about Ashley was the protection plan! That was the best offer we had seen after shopping at other stores.

I have to give this one star in spite of the fact that the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. I bought the king size Porter bed, it was delivered and everything appeared to be ok. I didn't sleep in the bed the day it was delivered but the following day when I was putting on the sheets, the bed collapsed. When I went to the store, they told me there's nothing they can do since I accepted delivery (there was nothing obviously wrong the bed when I accepted delivery. I had no idea just lying on it to put sheets on would cause it to break. Otherwise, I would have never accepted the delivery). I asked for store credit, so I can get another bed, because I had no confidence in the bed I bought, but I was told that once delivery is accepted, it's out of their hands. They will send someone to fix it in 1-3 days. In the meantime, I moved into a new house and I have no bed. In spite of the good service I received while purchasing the bed, I won't be making any future purchases at Ashley Furniture.

Ashley had an awesome president's day sale-the storage ottoman I wanted was $219 instead of $300, and there was no delivery fee. Even though the store was quite busy, a manager helped me place the order ( had to go to the store to use a $100 visa card towards the purchase). I was finished in less than 30 min.

We came in looking for a specific sofa/chair combo, dining room table and bedroom set. We left with the chair/ sofa We wanted at a great price and dining room table that they honored the online price. Frank Alonzo was our sales representative. Nice guy, friendly and wouldn't hesitate to go back in the future.

Malika made our experience. We generally prefer sales people to leave us alone but Malika was able to strike the perfect balance of letting us browse but also providing service when we did need it. The sales rep did a good job in helping me find the furniture I wanted. Her manager pressured me into buying the protection plan after I told her NO several times.

We couldn't have had a more terrible experience. Not just with the store, but with the distribution center as well. It took 5 times for our furniture to be delivered. It was always one thing or another. So much miss communication with the store and the DC. The store would blame the DC & vice versa. To top it all off the delivery team was so incredibly rude! Tracking snow in and out our house. Any questions we had they seemed annoyed by. Left wrapping and boxes outside our door. Just a very horrible experience over all. We will seriously have to consider shopping here again because we were definitely not pleased at all.

Good quality furniture and sales people. However, when we got the furniture it didn't fit as well as we liked. We felt like a sectional would do better. Unfortunately they don't do returns at all (it's still unused with tags still on it.) I thought maybe they would but we would still have to pay for delivery. Admittedly partly our fault but disappointing they don't do returns at all.

I bought two recliners last month and from the first day it started to discolor and leave stains on shirts and pants , and now i am having a hard time to bring in the service to solve the defect and no one is giving me a clear answer on when they will show up, I know for sure that the store has nothing to do about it and i could say the staff is so kind and supportive , but the whole after sale service is truly frustrating !

Our in store experience was great. When it came time for delivery we kept having to call to check status, no one ever reached out. It took a long time to actually speak to a person. Finally 3 months after we ordered, we called they said our counter height table was ready but the stools were on back order but they would be coming soon. We went ahead and accepted delivery of the table after returning the first one due to scratches. We then called to check on the stools the day after we received the table and were told they were discontinued and we would have to pick something else out. We went into the store but could not find any other stools we liked. While in the store we asked them to cancel the stools and we were told they could not, had to be done through customer service. Since we had taken delivery of the table they said we could not return it. I made the case that had they been honest with us and informed us about the stools, we would have had the opportunity to cancel the table. At least we felt canceling the delivery charge we paid would be the least they could do. After at least 3-4 conversations they agreed to waive the delivery. But they only waived part of it. We found a table we like better elsewhere so this brand new table we are paying for is in 2 parts in our garage collecting dust. My advice is if you are getting items from different furniture lines, make sure they are all delivered together so they cannot do to you what happened to us and don't expect them to tell you any information, as we always reached out to them, they never called us to give us status.

I worked with Malika with my first couch purchase. She did a phenomenal job with making sure I felt comfortable and satisfied with not only the product, but also her great customer service. She most certainly went above and beyond for me and her efforts do not go unnoticed. Ashley Homestore has a leg-up compared to other furniture companies. Customer service is awful, sales is only there to take your money and the warranty is a total scam, do not buy! This is the first poor review I have ever posted - We had significant issues with a previous order that we purchased from the Homestore in Naperville, IL but after exhausting other options, we decided to try Ashley one more time. Big mistake. We were quoted an 8-16 week lead time for our table and chairs, it took 8 months. My sales rep was non-existent unless I reached out to her and the only updates I received were to tell me my order was available for delivery, only have them not show up for the scheduled delivery FOUR times! Claiming they hadn't received the product in yet, except for the one time that they said they decided to fulfil someone else's order with the product that was reserved for me. Their explanation. One of the chairs arrived broken, but I didn't notice until the next day. I contacted the Homestore I purchased from, but they told me they couldn't help and that I needed to contact customer service. CS told me to contact the warranty company and they told me to contact the manufacturer. After 11 calls, I was finally given a case number and I received a text asking for pictures stating "I am only here for 10 more minutes, then I am off for a couple days". Flash forward 3 months, a dozen phone calls and a missed repair order that was scheduled for today, I received phone call that said they would not be coming and they would send me a piece (wrong piece, not what's broken) that will arrive in "weeks to months, who knows" and I can call for repair then. I contacted the store again and finally got in touch with the GM, who is as unprofessional as they come. I asked for help, he denied, "not my concern, I'm in sales". I asked for a refund on the SCAM warranty, he again denied. I asked why he has never returned a single one of my phone calls and he replied, "I'm too popular to deal with a just a single person". These are all real quotes for Ashley Furniture. Stay clear, buy elsewhere!

Frank Alonso was great. I was in earlier in the week. He gave me the promotional information and told me to roam around a let him know if I had any questions. No pressure which I appreciate. Came back today and purchased a couch set from him. Great experience

Horrible customer service. These people just tell you what you want to hear and make promises they can’t follow through with. We’ve had so many complications with our furniture being delivered, multiple times they’ve PROMISED us a date and almost every single time it never came on the date promised and was pushed back every time. Also there was missing furniture with almost every delivery we’ve had. very frustrating, will never shop here for furniture again…

this is for online order....not store.....Worst company ever.... No customer service. If Products are defective.. they will ask for you to donate and then they will provide replacement..... So you need run around for their faulty product... also replacement takes months....BIG NO.

UPDATE. I received the comment from ashley(owner) and was asked text or email my contact info and order info to there service department. Haven't heard any response yet. Be careful when buying a mattress. Make sure you spend a couple of hours on it 4 or 5 times before buying it. We bought a sealy mattress and after 3 weeks or so it was hurting my wife's back. We called Ashley and they didn't have a 30 day comfort warrenty. We went to the store and talked to a manager and she contacted their customer service department to see what if anything could be done. After a week I received a call from them and there wasn't anything they were going to do about it. So we have to go buy another mattress and it WILL NOT be from Ashley. We will by from a reputable company that stands behind their products and offers a trial period for a mattress. Mattresses last ten years. You really need to take your time when buying one and make sure they have a 30 or sometimes a 90 day comfort warrenty.

Very DISAPPOINTED in Ashley furniture and sales team .. they lie to close a sale when they know the items aren’t in stock .Also sales rep and manager are deceptive.. you will not be able to return any merchandise when it says online you have a option too if items was damaged or not as description .. I WOULD AND WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN .. there are to many other place with good quality furniture.. this place is abt to go out of business look at the high prices and compare to others .. it’s all greed .. good luck

Absolutely the worst company I have ever purchased furniture from. Waited weeks for my bed, delivered was scheduled for 12/14/22 between 8:30-11:30. No one showed up. Called many times spoke to many different people no one was able to do anything other than tell me wait some more. Driver shows up at 2:45 I was not home at that point as he wal almost 3 hours late. I asked him to wait 15 min for me to be able to drive home and was told company policy is that they only wait 10 minutes. So we customers get to wait hours passed they window but they can only wait 10 minutes. Called dispatch and customer service and one person more unprofessional than the other. Actually had the one of them tell me she was in bed in her pajamas in tears as and she didn’t care. The absolute disrespect for peoples time and disregard for their responsibility was just so frustrating that after talking to about 10 different people in the company all they could do is reschedule me for another 2 weeks out. I refuse to give my money to a company like that so I canceled my order. I would rather wait longer and buy from a company that cares and takes responsibility for their mistakes than to give my money to this horrible company

Was treated with respect & was given professional service.

We spent a couple of hours in store shopping for our new place. We found the store extremely welcoming and staff pretty helpful. Particularly Frank helped us get a decent price and walked us through the whole shopping process with patience and smile. I highly recommend this place for anything furniture.

Sales person, Malika Clark. had an attitude. Seemed irritated when asked certain questions. We decided not to purchase from this location. We went to Highland Indiana and was treated well. We felt great about or purchase. We purchased set of Jeanette dining room chairs and bench. Also, Home theater leather power recliner and power sofa. Nice.
