Reggie was our sales rep today and he was great! Knowledgeable, efficient and made the process super easy. Gave us a few laughs too which made it a fun experience!

The sales associate, Jackie, was great! She was friendly and very helpful, she listened to what I wanted and provided great options and feedback. She made the purchasing process completely stress free!

We went in and knew what we were looking for. Worked with Melissa who was very nice and helpful and did not pressure us. We did not buy that day but she helped in our decision to return. We came back following week and worked with Reggie since Melissa was off. He was great! Very helpful, easy to chat with, no pressure and got us the best price possible. We ere very happy with this store and their staff. Will go back!

Reggie gave us the time we needed to decide on the chairs we wanted. We had been there a free weeks ago and were back to buy. Reggie recognized that and sold us with the right price .

I brought a bed it’s been 3 weeks the bed and the mattress is very stinky. Their customer service are very poor and unprofessional. They supposed to send someone 3 weeks ago to inspect the bed and no one ever came or called me very unorganized and poor customer service. Stay away from that stupid store.

We walked in and usually salespeople would politely guide us to the right direction of our purpose. Nothing. We went to the mattress section and I’d say we were trying different mattresses for about 10-12 minutes, still nobody. My wife had to snag someone and then from then it was smooth sailing, Reggie was very informative and we purchased a mattress and box spring and were out in about 45 minutes. So other than salespeople ignoring us and the store pretty much empty, once we were taken care of, pretty good. Showroom is exceptional with lighting and spacious walking room. Joe

We bought a table from them and at home we realized the quality is horrible. We couldn’t put it together because of poor design and quality. I understand everything but the way how they handled it was horrible. The manager store just gave us a number and left. His answer was that “ I am selling the furniture not designed it “ and left us literally alone in the shop.

Melissa was hands on one of the best salespeople, friendly and very professional. After talking with her I purchased an awesome sectional couch and are very happy with the whole experience.

Beautiful furniture, HORRIBLE quality. We previously bought furniture and within a couple months it broke. Like the nieve people we are we decided to buy a couch from them that reclined, as we really liked it. We are 8 days post delivery and one recliner is already broken and we are being refused a refund as “all sales are final, it’s on the contract you signed.” I’m not sure how we can just stick with an item 8 days in, with a mechanical default but here we are. Avoid them as all they do is try and lock you in with crappy quality furniture and take your money.

Well it would have been 5-Stars, had I not in retrospect feel like I just dealt with a used car sales tactic. Salesman gave me a “deal” by knocking $200 of the price to $799 and reducing the 5-year warranty from $269 to $199. Interestingly those are the exact prices for that item on your website!! So there was no deal at all. I further did a SKU search and found the same chair made by Ashley on SIX reseller websites for less, namely: $779, 569, 731, 573, 589 & 749. So in essence the “deal” was a screw job. First & last purchase at Ashley.

This place is an absolute joke. I bought a sectional and recliner from the Naperville Ashley location and it’s been nothing but an issue trying to get it fixed. I bought an extended 5 year warranty and you cannot contact the local store and they decided to use the worst possible warranty provider. I’ve been waiting months to get my couch fixed and have taking numerous days off work for scheduling of fixing the couch only to find out that the wrong repair part was sent to me on the 3rd reschedule. Now 4 months in and nobody can seem to figure this situation out whether it’s Ashley customer service or Extend warranty service. Save yourself the time and hassle and do not purchase from Ashley!

The service that we received from Jackie was excellent. The selection of available dining table and chairs sets were impressive and the prices were very fair.

We had such a great experience with Malika. She was super friendly and answered all of our questions without being aggressive or making us feel pressured. She gave us space to shop but was attentive and checked in with us while we shopped. We love the bed and mattress we chose. It feels solid and very well made. Wally the store manager worked with us on the price to make to make the whole process run smoothly. We have almost an entire house full of Ashley furniture that we’ve purchased at various locations but this location was by far our favorite one because of the customer service we received!

We purchased a whole bedroom set and rug back in June of 2025 and the rug has never been delivered and when we have tried to contact anyone, we have been ghosted and nothing has been done to rectify the issue. They have also been charging us for the rug we don’t have. On top of that, the bed frame we purchased, the drawer completely broke and we have called and called to get this fixed and no one has returned our calls to fix it. The manager of this store has been no help. This has been a horrible experience purchasing from this store.

The sales person was OK, the manager kind of pushy, but OK too. The furniture we bought is junk, I'll never buy from this chain again. Call center customer service people are nice (after long waiting time) but they solve anything, we tried to escalete and the supervisor who called back 2 times in odd timing, and left message with no contact info to call back. After only 3 months of use of an L shaped sofa is already all saggy on the seating foam pads. Is Just poor quality, plain and simple. They washed their hands by sending unsolicited foam replacement, which would be the same outcome since they do not assure is a better quality or foam type. Months waiting for a technician to come and assess the problem. This was the 2d chance for Ashley, we aquirered a sofa few years back, and I don't know why I gave them a second chance, I regret buying here. The previos purchase, a powered sectional did not last even the 2d year mark of normal use without a failing mechanism. Aslo, we bought this last time a TV stand which came with a broken shelve, is already 6 months, and they are not been able to deliver the replacement part yet. Avoid to all means buying here.

Biggest mistake I ever made in my life by buying bedroom set from this store. Bedroom set was delivered in October 2025 and there's is issue with the headboard ( I did notice this issue at the time of purchase and showed to my salesperson and she told me once it sits along the wall in the bedroom at your home then I will not have this issue so I trusted her) then I called my salesperson told her about the issue she told me she can't help me and I was provided number to call. The problem with this store is there is no live person you can talk to only way to communicate is texting. First technician came to look at it told me yes the headboard is shaking I will let the store knows few hours later after the technician left I got after visit summary email stating our technician found no issues with the headboard( different statement what tech told me). Second tech Chadley came and only thing he did took couple pictures and said yes its manufacturing defect they should have used nut and bolts instead of clamps and will let store know. Hour later he left again got after visit summary email saying our technician fixed the issue by fixing the mattress( He did not even touch anything except taking couple pictures) Third time they sent tech Chadley again rang the door bell and my wife opened the door and told him that let me call my husband he said that's ok and left without even going inside the house and then this time also I received after visit summary email saying tech was there at your house found no issue with the headboard ( I just can't believe technicians say something different when they are at customers home and tell something different whoever they report to and especially third time after after visit summary says tech found no issue even though he didn't even entered my home.

I would not recommend this store—even if the furniture were free—due to extremely poor customer service. I was assured a sofa was available, only to be told by the Romeoville warehouse that it was not. Despite this, the Naperville store sold it to me and scheduled delivery for December 26. Twice, on December 26 and December 30, I received messages saying the item was damaged and delivery was delayed. When I went to the store for answers, the manager, Chris, was rude and dismissive, repeatedly saying he could not help. Customer service sent me back to the store, while the store refused to take responsibility. After weeks of follow-ups, I was told the sofa was no longer available, and then communication stopped entirely. The general manager, Wally, promised a callback but never followed through. My issue remains unresolved after significant time, effort, and frustration. The only helpful person was Melissa. Otherwise, this store shows little regard for its customers. Stay away. Stay away.

Wasn’t happy with my recent experience here and I’d recommend trying a different store. Quality furniture, but the customer service this time wasn’t very good.

Updates with initial review...... Frank was absolutely incredible. Came in. Picked out what I wanted. The priced matched a better price I found online and done. They were fast and kind and helpful. Can't wait to shop here again. Well after going to get my item. I'm dropping my five stars to three. So far I have been sitting here waiting to pick up my item for an hour and 15 minutes. There's no instructions on what to do when you get here. apparently only one man working In the warehouse. The 800 number goes to a call center so you can't even get in touch with anyone here. Further update. I just tried to call my salesperson to share with him the experience. It goes to a call center and they have no way of transferring the call. I asked how I get in touch with my salesperson and they said that I need to go back to the store. If I hadn't of already purchased an item and had it in my car right now. I would not order through Ashley. I could have gotten the same item at had a better price at home Depot. You had me, Ashley. And then you lost me. Big time. I will be updating my other review as well. Wally? The manager at the route 59 Ashley store. Is quite the piece of work. His response was you can't return the piece after you buy it anyway. Wow. Update. First one returned with faulty cheap plastic casters on this heavy table. New one now has broken knob. Bent and loose. Cannot tighten. What the heck. Would never order from here again. Let's see how a third one goes. So the representative didn't articulate any words that I could understand. When I asked for a manager I was apparently hung up on and sent to a survey I tried to punch in the proper things for the survey and it won't let me. Then it says to leave a comment I barely got one sentence out and it said thank you. What an absolute horrible company this is. Update. Table Broken AGAIN.

The absolute worse experience I’ve ever had buying furniture. Been waiting almost 4 months for my furniture and still nothing. Store manager is rude and their sales people don’t answer. I’ve called and went in multiple times and have no answer. Phones never work. Customer service says they will call me back but never does. Someone needs to call me and tell me what is going on and where my furniture is!!??? Will never recommend anyone to buy from Ashley ever.

Only ordered from Ashley because the sectional we liked was in stock & I could get it delivered for Christmas (6 weeks after order was placed). Scheduled delivery with all sections of the couch ready to go, only to get a call days before delivery telling me part of the sectional is back ordered & asking if I wanted to reschedule my delivery for January. Um no, I wouldn’t have ordered this item or from Ashley at all if it wasn’t going to be here on time. Will never come here again.

Purchased a loveseat recliner with warranty a tear showed its face less than a year of having it they refused to come out look at saying it's not covered under the warranty that purchased at this store never again will I buy anything from this store sells you false warrantys that just deny claims as u can tell this this was caused by something internal on the chair from factory!!!!!!

My wife and I came with minimal expectations in getting a furniture set. Soon after being greeted by Ariel Pendalton those fears were relieved! We got more than we could bargin for in customer service and PRICE! The whole team was just amazing! WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND ANYONE. I purchased a dining set from the Naperville store. The same set was available at lower price online while i ended up paying more. On top I was charged $200 delivery fee even if I live in the same area as the store. When the delivery arrived, there was a broken piece that holds the table, even if we called it out, still Ashley furniture tried to hide and still set it up. I had to call support twice to have a technician visit scheduled. I am still waiting for technician and the dining table not very stable.

For two months, they kept telling me that “someone will contact you within 72 hours,” but no one ever reached out. I had to call again and again, and still received nothing but empty promises. Their customer service is completely unreliable, and they do not stand behind their products. I strongly recommend that everyone avoid buying furniture from Ashley — the after-sales service has absolutely no credibility.

This is my families first large furniture purchase after buying our first home. We spent a lot of time going from furniture store to furniture store and sitting on the samples at stores (we were being really picky considering the price tag). We ended up purchasing a couch in store for delivery. We left thinking that we got a really good deal because the saleswoman took $1000 off the pricetag at the store. Later the next day we were sending a family member the link to the couch online and realized we could get it cheaper online (overall price, delivery and better financing months at 0% interest). We felt like we got scammed :( So I called the customer service line ready to cancel the order and got an amazzziingg woman, Maria Benjamin (I really really hope she hears this review because she 100% saved our sale). She understood immediately why we felt duped and not only met the price online, she knocked off the delivery price, extended our financing, and assured our upcoming delivery. I was in absolute awe of her customer service. She was kind, easy to chat with, so accommodating, and changed my whole vision on the company from when I called in the first place. I really hope she gets accolades for this review and her overall excellence of service because she is the reason I am writing this review! We look forward to the delivery of our couch in a couple weeks, hopefully no issues come up during delivery but we are optimistic considering how quick Ashley was to make it right for us when we had an issue the last time. We decided to go to a smaller family own furniture store that only showcase furniture they ACTUALLY have IN STOCK. It's obvious that ashley furniture spends tons of money on marketing and SEO (search engine optimization) because they come up first when you search for furniture. However their customer service and delivery of furniture SUCKS. IF THEY WOULD JUST EQUALLY PUT AS MUCH EFFORT AND MONEY IN ACTUALLY DELIVERING FURNITURE, they would do great. But I am here to tell you RUN FROM THESE Folks. They tell lies and deliver nothing. Read Ashley furniture delivery reviews. See for yourself. They kept lying to us about our furniture. It wasn't even in stock. But yet they took our money and wasted our time. I canceled my order, got my refund and less than two weeks of dealing with Ashley, I have everything I wanted FROM ANOTHER COMPANY. You are welcome Update: Not sorry enough because I am still being tossed around like salad. Ridiculous. Please provide a number where I can speak directly to someone in the Leadership department. If you truly care. Run the other way!!!!!!! No way to talk to anyone AFTER you've purchased furniture. If you call the listed "store" number it's linked to their call center. They will butter you up and make you feel like you are in the right place to purchase furniture, once they get your money, it's downhill from there. I do not know how these folks stay in business. All I am being told is that their line is busy which is why I keep getting the call center. No way on earth those folks is selling that much furniture that their line is always busy. No way!!!! I came into the store and about bought a small painting. Shortly after that someone stole my Ashley Credit Card information and charged over $ 4,513 to my Ashley Credit Card. July 1st $ 435.84, July 3rd $ 334.74, July 6th $799.42, July 15th $ 1,588.78, July 16th $ 126.78, July 16th $ 303.29, July 17th $ 121.25 They made all of these charges online to my account. I did not make any of these charges. I called to dispute the charges and they will not take them off of my account. Do not buy anything from Ashley Homestore or use Synchrony Financial. I cannot believe they would let someone make these purchases and not refund our money. I came into the store to discuss the situation and the lady in the store was super rude and said well sometimes these things happen. I called the corporate store as well and no one will call us back.

We ended up at this location by chance, but it was def meant to be. As soon as we walked in, Malika warmly greeted us. We browsed and the inventory was by far the best we have seen, compared to other Ashley locations (we went to 4). The store manager came to greet us too, very nice man and informative. We ended up finding what we wanted and Malika answered all our questions. She truly has such a positive energy and aura to her. She made us feel at ease, especially with a big purchase. She gave us our space, but was always nearby and so easy to talk to. The staff at this location definitely give this store a personal touch and energy that is unmatched, glad we walked in and finally found what we wanted after months of searching. Very pleased and grateful for the positive experience.

Visited ASHLEY Furniture Store at Naperville, Chicago with Wife, Daughter and Son in law to do shopping for sofa and Dinning set . The store is very big having various furniture/ accessories/ art/ TV/ Beds/ table/ many others. In USA vibrant colours not there/ few options for wooden carving sets as India. Still the store has many designs/ options to suit American people. Enjoyed the store tour. Must visit .

I placed an order for a leather furniture set at the Naperville store approximately 5 weeks ago which consisted of a couch, loveseat, and chair-- over $6,000. I was not informed that the loveseat had been discontinued until ONE DAY BEFORE DELIVERY FIVE WEEKS LATER! Very upset and disappointed to say the least! Definitely not the way to conduct business! Of course I canceled my order and am awaiting a full refund [expedited] to my credit card...since I now have to start from square one in my furniture search. I moved into new construction as well, so was depending on having this furniture since i have none currently! I've had to continually follow up with Ashley Furniture about this myself. They have not been proactive whatsoever and i do not recommend using them for any purchases, especially special orders! Highly dissatisfied overall!! I am furnishing a new home but will be shopping elsewhere for all of my furniture needs.

It was ok, but Ashley makes it difficult to use any promotion you signed up for. I bought a couch and was using the warranty for 5 years. First they said I could add it to the credit card when I initially bought it, then they changed the rules on if I could use it for in-store credit and when I tried to use it, all of a sudden the system didn't work. I've spent so much money with Ashley, what about customer agreements? I'm still waiting on a call about using my store credit and how it goes, I doubt I'll get that call. I signed the sheet stating I'm using my 399.99 in-store credit, but I feel like they'll say I used it even though I didn't get anything. I just don't trust Ashley anymore because I feel like they're just saying things to sell you something.

Malika is a pro! She took a lot of time and was patient with us to select the perfect sofa for our basement. Her communication was exceptional. She texted options, measurement and prices to get us the best deal. The best thing I can say is she stayed with us all the way to the finish. We had a little snag with the delivery (this was bc of the warehouse and third party); Malika took time to call, text, explain the situation and help with a quick solution. That is the best quality in a salesperson; jumping up to help in a tough situation. We would highly recommend and definitely work with her in the future!

When I first visited Ashley, I was really impressed — they had a great selection, and the in-store experience was wonderful. Palvi and Chris were both kind, funny, and made the shopping experience enjoyable. I left feeling confident about my purchase — a sectional and a swivel chair — and even added extra coverage for additional peace of mind. Unfortunately, what followed has been the most frustrating retail experience I’ve ever had. TICKET #1: The Sectional Nightmare Within just a few weeks, the sectional lost its shape completely — the cushions sank in, and it became very uncomfortable. I had purchased extended coverage expecting quick help, but what I received was endless frustration. For over five months, I have been following up on Ticket #1, trying to get a proper replacement. Each time I call, I’m routed to a new representative who knows nothing about my case, forcing me to repeat the entire story and resend all the photos and documents. Every time, without resolution, the ticket somehow gets closed. In December, they finally placed an order for replacement cushions — but forgot the chaise. After several more calls, explanations, and delays, I was told in January that I’d need to pick up the missing parts from their warehouse myself because delivery wasn’t available. So much for the extra warranty coverage I paid for! This level of service is completely unacceptable. TICKET #2: The Swivel Chair Disaster Then came Ticket #2 for my swivel chair. It was rescheduled not once, but twice because of “availability issues.” Soon after, I received an email saying it had been “delivered” — to a location that wasn’t even mine. When I called, customer service seemed absolutely clueless. Their system apparently couldn’t even track where my order went! At that point, I had no choice but to cancel the order. I did receive a refund, but only after wasting time and energy dealing with one issue after another. Final Thoughts After this entire ordeal, I can confidently say: do not spend extra on their warranty or protection plans. The service is not worth it. The communication between their warehouse, store, and customer support is a complete mess. Cases are closed without resolution, and no one takes responsibility for follow-up. I truly regret my purchase with Ashley. A once delightful buying experience turned into months of stress, repeated explanations, and unfulfilled promises. I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision — save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

We received a great service from Frank and the store manager at this store. Frank was very considerate about our budget and worked with us very patiently while looking for sectional. He valued our request and gave us time to consider all the options available which made our purchase very easy. Best store we have been to so far.

I paid for an extended warranty, and I call the warranty location and they said Ashley Furniture did not registered my “extended warranty “. SMH Ashley furniture is stealing peoples warranty money! So someone has my “extended Warranty “. Money that I paid for. The management team sucks! Not one manager is in charge and is able to assist me to refund my money they stole. Each manager has to call 100 other different managers for approval and not one can take charge! So I warn you about purchasing furniture and especially warranties! I have called the number you responded and asked me to call and still no one has the authority to help. So again I’ve been given the run around ! SAD! And your store has stolen my money! Anyone deciding to by an extended warranty please make sure they don’t steal your money! And the number you gave me to get this resolved sends me to another number! Ashley Furniture you are stealing peoples money and it’s a crime! And the customer service is great until they get your money, after that there customer service a big run around! No one knows nothing! So store owner don’t respond with BS! And a BS phone number! And most of all STOP stealing peoples money!

We were TOLD that is going to be delivered to us in no more than 2 weeks!!!! Today is June 19th and we STILL have to wait one more month for our bed to be delivered!!!!! Ridiculous !!!!! Needless to say that the SA that was assigned to help us, was so pushy with us,forcing /propsing to us to buy more stuff ! No, we knew exactly what we came there for. I need to mention it was our 1st and last time there!!!! Update: I called them yesterday at this provided number , they had no idea who’s responsible for the person that wrote me here the “helpful “ message!!!! I called the both numbers, NOBODY helped! I will go to the store today and just cancel my order! No, I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company! 0 , absolutely 0 in customers service! They just want your business, once they made you pay for the furniture, it is up to them to decide when it will be delivered to you! Money on hold, frustration, and NO furniture in the house! I was told it takes a WEEK to be delivered. We even paid the 180$ for delivery fees!!!!

I was not pleased with my recent purchase at Ashley Furniture in Naperville, IL. I an strongly considering cancelling my order. They advertised 0% interest for 72 months, but state that the offer is only valid for in-store purchases. I picked out the items that I wanted to purchase prior to going to the store in Naperville. I get to the store and tell them that I already know what I want, we just need to process the order. They tell me that the pricing advertised online is discounted pricing and that I can have the 72 month interest free financing unless I pay what calculated to $1500 more than the purchase price of my order. I refuse to pay more than the cost of the items I want to purchase. The Ashley website stated that I could get 24 months interest free financing based on the items in my cart. The salesman and female manager in the store took 20 minutes to confirm that Ashley was offering 24 months interest free. The entire process felt like a scam and an attempt to get a much money out of my purchase as possible. They offered me drop off delivery at $300; I told them that I will pick up the furniture at their warehouse in Romeoville as their delivery fee is double the $150 delivery fee shown on the Ashley website. I haven't purchased anything from Ashley since 2017. Based on their new sales practices, I will never purchase anything from Ashley again. They have misleading advertising regarding finance offers and pricing, and they intentionally attempt to take advantage of the consumer with regard to overcharging. My recommendation is to shop somewhere else. If you decide to shop with Ashley Furniture, check the pricing on the Ashley website before you go into the store. I guarantee you will notice the pricing in the store is significantly higher. They will try to convince you that you are getting a deal, yet you will be offered a price higher than the pricing on the website. This is my 100% honest experience. The choice is yours at this point.

Malika at Ashley's Furniture in Naperville provided exceptional service. My wife and I came in looking for a new mattress and were overwhelmed by the choices. Malika patiently explained the features of each mattress, including the different fillings and technologies. She helped us find the perfect Tempur-Pedic mattress, which we hadn't even considered before. Malika also helped us understand the different financing options and find one that fit our budget. Bad customer service, never again there i,just was talking to one of sakes lady to finalizing order quotes that should be over 7000$, suddenly the rude manager ask here to leave me abd go great other customers ???? I was shocked looking around it's never ever happened to me before, after standing I was looking around, then the weird manager said we'll I send here to get other people, I was shocked I just left ,I am not sure if your headquarter will be happy about that! You could move from your fancy chair and do you work men.

I was told that all the items that I'm ordering are in stock and will be delivered within 10 days. But after placing the order, I received an online notification saying that items are in back order and will not be delivered by the date promised by the store staff. Unpleasant experience.

Customer service is lacking. The employees are super territorial so if you ask the nearest person a simple question because your greeter employee is busy with someone else, they refuse to help you or your original employee stomps over and makes passive aggressive comments to the other employee, which is really uncomfortable. Secondly, don’t expect a call back in a timely manner. Thirdly, once you give them your money, all employees magically disappear and leave you to navigate out the door after saying they would at least hold doors for you, minus of course the one woman who stood back hiding behind a different couch watching us customers struggle. At least some of the doors were propped open before the disappearing act but after we came back in to return their equipment, we found the doors were shut right behind us. I would’ve let the rest go and not bothered with a review if this purchase hadn’t ended so poorly.

Everyone was very helpful and patient with me. I appreciate them not pressuring me into any as well. The buying process went smoothly.

Made a sudden stop in as I was headed elsewhere for patio furniture. Greeted by salesman Frank. Asked about patio furniture and was told only a few prices were on the floor. I spent 6+ months talking with, emailing texting and being given the run around with Ashley DSG after purchasing several pieces of furniture from Ashley Homestore at 1584 South Rt. 59, Naperville, Illinois. The 3 seat sofa recliner does not work properly. I’ve asked and nearly begged for a Technician to come out and repair but Ashley will not cooperate. Had I known Ashley produces inferior products and refuse to stand behind that product(s), I absolutely would not have purchased. The Better Business Bureau was involved, to no avail. Two thumbs down 👎👎 on the durability of your products, your poor customer service and customer satisfaction.

Prices are reasonable , products are cool. Manager and sales representative are kind and helpfull.i stopped by just to have a look and purchased all my furniture for a new house in 2 hours total including paper work. The pictures show my purchases. 😊

I knew exactly what I wanted to buy and Scooby was very professional and knew his product! My mattress is scheduled for delivery on the 11th and hopefully it will come on time!!

Ordered a 2 piece sectional. They delivered half and never alerted me the 2nd half was discontinued. They then claimed they would not take back the half they shipped without telling me would be incomplete. What a hassle and poor service all around.

Frank was so helpful and not pushy, which I appreciate. He gave me great customer service and wasn’t just concerned about making a sale. He was friendly, honest, and efficient.

sale lady was great but when I came home, I don't know what happen but I'm not sure if they clean their beds display but ever since I lay on some, I came home and found lice in my hair, I have never had this experience before till I came back from their store... please clean the beds or check if theirs bugs because seriously I got ptsd from this, so paranoid that I can't sleep. I make sure to kill it instantly once it happened.

I was looking for dining room chairs.

The saleswoman in the store was great. The rest of the experience was terrible. The first part of my order was delivered a month later, but a key piece of my couch has not come yet making it useless. The delivery team damaged my home, and Ashley pawned the problem off of their contractor. They are denying the damage claim, so if I want to pursue it, I have to go to court. I can't afford court costs. So now I have to fix the home damage myself. Ashley billed me for the pieces they delivered, but useable because I'm missing a key middle piece of the couch. Two months later, called again and they "apologized for the delay" multiple times, but still no furniture. Supposedly they are supposed to deliver more on Thursday, we'll see what I get. I won't be ordering from them again. I tried to cancel my incomplete order and was told all sales were final. It's not final until I receive my products.

I normally don’t post many reviews unless I’ve a really good or really bad experience. Unfortunately we wanted it to work with Ashley here in Naperville but it just did not. We purchased two expensive sofa sets for our new home. We worked with Maria who by the way was amazing to work with. She really spent time with us to figure out what to buy and was patient and helpful. After we got one of the sofa sets delivered to our home, it looked very big and bulky. We knew the Ashley policy is no exchanges or refunds, however sometimes they would make branch dependent exceptions. We called to see if our sofa set could be exchanged, and the manager Wally Hassan told us we could if we made other purchases as well (we needed two bed sets and a dining table.) We came back a week later (we were out of town for my brothers wedding) to find what we wanted to buy so we could get the sofa set that was delivered exchanged. The manager was not there so we worked with Maria to see what we liked and wrote it down. We returned the next day. The manager Wally Hassan who had originally promised us we could do the return said he did not remember promising us that, kept repeating the policy of “no returns and no exchanges” and ultimately said he could not help us and walked away. Maria apologized and said he had told her if it was a few days after the purchase, the exchange would be possible but not 2 weeks after, and she didn’t know that herself, and wish he had told her so she could’ve communicated that to us. We appreciated Maria’s transparency with us and kindness throughout the process, but unfortunately the manger was very rude and did not fulfill his promise. If we had known originally that there was a timeline, we would’ve expedited the process of exchange as well. Ashley Naperville has lost future business with us. The only reason I’m giving them two stars instead of one is Maria.

The staff that we encountered were courteous and professional. I would give it a five star with exception that our sales rep (Maria Ramirez) left out a small detail that relates to the 5yr protection coverage for the furniture which is, and I quote: "If you do not make a claim in five years, you will receive a refund." She said this to me twice alone, and when my wife returned from the ladies room, she told us that, "You will get your money back. It wasn't until my purchase was approved that she mentioned that the refund will be a store credit. Not that I mind having a store credit, but it's principle of not mentioning it up front and the possibility of having a cash refund if a claim is not made. I felt deceived after my purchase.

Great shopping experience, came to buy an office desk that I saw on the website. It was available in the shop, Melissa was very helpful in the store and in the end we purchased it with the home delivery which was complementary free of charge.

Very bad experience and product. We bought a dining table back 2 months ago. Arrived broke! 2 attempts to replace, another broken table. Still waiting for a solution.

We were greeted immediately by Melissa who took great care of us. She allowed us to walk around the store and answered all of our questions throughout the whole process.

Lana was a great sales person. She was informative, but not at all pushy. I really appreciated her attitude and her knowledge.

We were ready to purchase a couch and loveseat and extra chair and coffee table and end tables, I ask the sale person if they have free delivery she was so rude and no they don't. Don't go there.Fyi TV ad state free delivery.

I am giving 1 star because there is no option to give 0 stars. What kind of furniture store denies you return option after making same mistake twice?? They delivered the couch in severely beaten up condition.. that itself raises red flags. Then they delivered it again with stains on it. The quality is lacking in the newly bought furniture itself. We have zero trust in Ashley now. Combined with the bad experience with customer service who deny all your requests to return because “ you accepted it “ and there is no communication between delivery guys, store , warehouse so the customer doesn’t know what they are supposed to do .

I was in and out in less than a hour and bought literally everything and Ms. Palvi was a great help finding exactly what I needed. And at the end the Manager treated me with a surprise. I was very delighted with my purchase at this location.

I came yesterday to look at mattresses. Definitely wanted to be left alone because I hate being pressured into buying stuff!!!!! Of course the sales lady came to find us. She ran to grab pillows or something and came back in a tempurpedic t shirt. I was dying!!! Anyways she continued to follow me and pressure me into each mattress. I lost it when she kept trying to put me into a taco form and put the “massage” feature on their base. I told her multiple times I was not interested in these features. Anyways, we were trying to leave when she got on her little walkie talkie and called the “sleep expert” who appeared in a lab coat and wanted us to stay even longer to explain more things to us. The end result is we left and went to another store and bought a very expensive mattress with someone who did not pressure us and let us figure out what we wanted.

I given a higher star allowed. February/24 I bought a nice Sofa bed. It was totally destroyed at delivery. Even though I call right away at Naperville store , they denied me the right to return it (protection under manufacture warranty), allegedly because I was using financial from Synchrony Bank, my only option was exchange, after many months of waiting . They finally figured out how to do an exchange and delivered a less value , used , dirty and spring damaged sofa ,with not a chance to return or exchange , only the promise to order parts and reaching out to me for repairs. That never happened, Today, almost a year after . Synchrony Bank always refused to evaluate the situation ignoring my claims and Ashley Furniture acted dishonest and deceptive at all times , promising things just to get rid of me every time I reached out in person or over the phone. Be careful! They don’t even care about Bette Business Bureau, best practices.

Made the mistake of walking into this Ashley Store after swearing them off years ago bc their quality and customer service are terrible. Found a couch I liked. Not on sale. Wanted the loveseat too. No bundle disc. $4k if you want it. Oh but since it’s over 3900, free delivery and 0% interest. The manager comes over and tells me that they (Ashley Furn) have to pay the interest to the credit card company if I do 0% bc “nobody loans money for free” so that’s why nothing is on sale. Then he says I’m being mean by asking for a discount bc they are going to be out hundreds of dollars by paying my interest. That is NOT how that works lmao. So I start to walk out and the manager literally grabs the arm of our salesgirl (who was great btw) and says “let them walk out”. Guess they didn’t need my 4k today…or ever…it’s cool…other people sell couches.

The collection was great and very good service!

Went in last Saturday and was greeted/talked to by Noelle right away. She was very informative and helpful. Not pushy at all. I loved how she spoke to both me and my boyfriend- it's nice to be treated equally. She got our sale, and our couch arrived today. It's great, and we loved that location and staff. We'll be back I'm sure :) ***EDIT*** I'm so sad the Ashley store posted an automated response instead of actually reading my good review. They wouldn't have confused their own employee with me if that was the case. In any event, Naperville is a good store, and corporate just outed themselves using an automated message to a new client that expressed their appreciation. Wasn't what I was expecting.

We have received the worst customer service. It is truly horrible. The lack of communication and many mistakes have been made. Still no furniture months after purchase and no idea when it will be delivered. Save yourself this frustration and shop elsewhere.

Run don't walk away from this store. If you want to buy furniture this is NOT the place for you. We ordered a sectional over 2 months ago, told it was in stock and to choose a delivery date, which we did. Never came, called the store there was never a delivery date put in for our order. We set a new date, they said it was on backorder. We waited until that date, they then delivered the wrong color. Told us correct color was to be delivered tomorrow. Went today to confirm since we received no confirmation. Turns out yet again we were not scheduled to be delivered to. Now we are told it is n backorder once again. They never bothered with communicating any of this to us. Not to mention many other mistakes were made. It has been told to me twice the district manager will contact me still haven't heard from him. The customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Would never shop there again.

I read some reviews that they were honor the coupons,it probably was different manager. I received a call from head quarters that they were trying get hold of management but not respond their calls. I feel like Ashley discrimination me because I have disability. Now I received the couch but they won't honor the price match or my coupons when they supposed honor it. . Please keep readingto the bottom. I keeping other customers from going through same thing I went through.This issues starting on 8/29/24. When the employee stated they will do price match and they don't or stated we will work with you. False. My whole furniture I wanted come out with the price match. I was happy than manager came stated we can't. I was upset, so I this getting one furniture, instead the whole set I wanted. Plus they don't take the coupon but they stated Ashley will. I wanted other customers know this. Plus special when you stated how much you have to spend at Ashley and they pull that on me , no coupons or price match. FALSE ADVERTISING. Could not get a person on the phone about my order. Completely impossible. My pregnant wife had to go to the store to get any customer service. Stay away. They also do the classic slimy sales move of making you wait after you tell them what you want, just like a car dealership.

My initial experience was not good. The manager, I'm assuming ( she had a long white coat) was not so kind. She never greeted me and when she noticed I may need help, she asked which door I entered and made a point to make an excuse why no one greeted me. She said the entrance I came through was for employees only. However, there are no signs or locking doors for any patron to be told otherwise. Now after that poor encounter, I was pleasantly greeted by Melissa. Melissa was very friendly, kind, and helpful. She helped me choose a nice piece of furniture. I wasn't able to decide at first, but I came back on a Sunday and Melissa was there to help me. She remembered my name and the piece of furniture I was interested in. Melissa made up for the very rude manager who could take a few pointers from Melissa in customer service.

Terrible experience. Frank was fine but halfway through he left and palmed me off to Ben. I had to make changes to my order and had given him a heads up that I would call. Needless to say he did not take my call. Messaged me saying he’d call. Finally I had to go back in person. Anyway long story short I finally had to call the head office.

If you like to buy Tempur-Pedic mattress Please do not buy from them!The return and exchange policy is extremely opaque. They said 90 days guarantee, but just for exchange, not return!! even if the mattress is not suitable for me. I spent more than $6000, just got the thing I don’t like. Their attitude changed immediately after I bought it!

Worked with a friendly salesman to order a new bed and mattress. Unfortunately he made a mistake in the sales form, and forgot to add a part of the bed to the sales order. When the delivery occurred several weeks later, the delivery guys told us that Ashley had failed to include all the correct pieces for the bed so they left the bed unassembled. When trying to call the store for support, you can never reach the actual store or speak to the salesperson. You are simply routed to their customer service dept. which is a long wait. Pretty unfortunate and inconvenient, as we'd already disassembled and disposed of our old bed the day prior to delivery.

Edited to 1 star. Close to 3 months and I’ve finally received the furniture but we need a technician out because the condition of the product received. Our recliner makes weird noises and there’s no stability in it. Trying to arrange the technician to come in is incredibly difficult. Ashley Furniture makes everything more complicated and frustrating. I just want resolution. Coran was extremely helpful and kind. We were not pressured and felt very confident in our purchase. Edited to add, be prepared to wait forever and receive no valid updates. Trying to get ahold of any live agent with Ashley is impossible. Better off cancelling the rest of my order than wait for this to continue to be delayed, going on close to 2 months delayed now. Removed 2 stars for that, people in store are friendly but be prepared to wait.

Terrible experience at this store. Despite informing the salesman, Ben, that we were not interested, he slipped in a $1,200 protection plan to our $6,500 purchase after we had gone over all the numbers several times. This led to me having to return to the store the next day to resolve the issue. Ultimately decided to cancel the entire purchase due to the clear and blatant overcharge. If there had been any possibility of misunderstanding, we wouldn’t have pulled the business. Plus, their $500 delivery charge is price gouging at its best. We ended up getting an honest and much better deal at Macy’s.

The sales guy was pushing to sell their stuff by quoting prices way below the tags on the name of discounts and when we agreed to buy, none of the discounts worked. It was all false claim. Although we didn’t try to negotiate and were ready to pay whatever was the original price, the manager still told us that we are haggling. Unpleasant experience in all. Never going back there again.

We had a wonderful experience shopping at Ashley today. We worked with Coran who was do wonderful and helpful. He took the time to help us pick out a living room and bedroom and helped us measure everything out to make sure it fits in our new home. The managers also came to speak with us and help us out. Everything would have gone perfect except my sales people were out of town and 2 others were covering for them. I planned to return Friday when my sales person was back but after I left the showroom I received a call to come back as they had figured out the sale. For my inconvenience they gave me a 20.00 credit

Melissa, the salesperson, greeted me with a smile and helped me get the recliner ordered and a pick up time set up at the Romeoville warehouse the following day. Our dad is happy to have a good old fashioned recliner back. No mimics or fancy buttons.

We interacted at the Ashley store on Route 59, Naperville with Ms. Palvi Julka. Ms. Palvi was kind enough to spend time with me and my wife, taking us around the store showcasing different options (design, decor and price). We were very happy and satisfied with the outcome in terms of variety, design and Palki's patience as we went thru a multitude of options.

Scooby was are sales person and was honest about the mattress that we went in Ashley for. He up sold us but to a much better mattress.

The sofa purchased from Ashley looks beautiful, but upon closer inspection, all the flaws in the assembly become obvious. After two months of use, I discovered that the upholstery fasteners had come loose. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that half of the fastenings come off with a simple touch (photos attached). The sleeping mechanism leaves much to be desired; specifically, you sleep head down due to a 2-inch height difference in the sleeping area. The attitude of Ashley's sellers changes dramatically immediately after the sale; Our manager didn't even listen to our complaint, interrupted us rudely and said that he was not involved in this. Moreover, the return, exchange and repair policy is extremely opaque. The store refers you to the manufacturer, who, in turn, refuses to return the money for the sofa, but agrees to replace the sleeper mechanism. However, nothing was replaced in 4 months. My advice: Never, under any circumstances, contact Ashley's store. The furniture is of poor quality, there is no decent service after purchase.

Couch was delivered with multiple tears, it has been weeks and it has still not been repaired. Every time I call they 'cannot find the notes' I wait on hold 30 minutes and regularly disconnected. No end in sight for getting this fixed.

What a refreshing experience my wife and I had at the Ashley Home Furnishings store in Naperville. We walked in looking for a dining room set and were met with a friendly no pressure sales lady. (Lana) She steered us in the correct direction after asking what we were looking for and then left us alone to make a decision. She didn’t hover or pester us. Once we decided on what we wanted she came back over and gave us some options to choose from and we ended up purchasing a new dining room set. We both had a wonderful experience. We will return when we start looking for our next purchase.

If you’re looking for a smooth experience buying your next furniture piece, I do NOT suggest working with Kyle from the Naperville store. Everything was fantastic at first. Extremely attentive, a willingness to help us find a piece that really fit our needs, provided his cell phone as an extra buffer in case things didn’t go smoothly. It was short lived after the sale was closed. My furniture was delivered on time, however, we had one arm chair pillow missing. I reached out to Kyle for an update on how to proceed and he said we needed to reach out to customer service, which we did. A week later and they sent the wrong pillow (color, size, texture) and at this point it gets a little annoying having to deal with something so small and I reach back out to Kyle to get another run around that “the store manager is going to handle it as soon as she’s back from PTO”. I spoke to the store manager a few days after I was told I would hear from her and she apologized and said she submitted a ticket for a new pillow. Fast forward two weeks and Kyle blocked my phone number and when confronted in the store his response was “nothing I can do man, sorry”. Thankful for Michaelene the ASM who was diligent in getting the correct ticket submitted for the PILLOW to be sent to my house. Kyle was happy to have our business to get that commission check and as soon as we became “too needy” he decided we’re gonna be someone else’s problem. Extremely disappointed because he initially handled himself like a true professional. I will not be a returning customer and will make sure my referrals go elsewhere. Couch was purchased on the 2nd and here we are on the 30th still waiting.

My wife and I were greeted by Mr. Kyle Lackner. He’s a no pressure salesman. He answered all of our questions and then he would let us continue browsing the store. Needless to say, we purchased a product that we wanted not something that was pushed on us. We’re not from the area we went to another store nearby. We walked into the store looking for something we saw online. My wife and I will most definitely make the small trip to buy from Mr. Kyle again. Excellent service.

I bought a $4000 couch last year and spent a lot of money on the insurance. 1 year later my cushions are shot, absolutely brutal condition. Apparently this is “standard” for a couch to feel the wood between the cushions. Ashley is a joke and I wouldn’t buy so much as a pillow from them. Shout out to Malika for lying to us during the sales process about the fantastic warranty!

Went to Ashley furniture to buy a bedroom set. Our salesperson who went by the name of Scooby. Was terrific. Answered all our questions. Made sure we were buying the correct mattress for ourselves . He just made it all around easy so if You're ever in the need ask for Scooby.

We were attended by Frank Alonso. As soon as we walked in he came to greet us and showed us what we were looking for and filled us in with their promotions. He was very professional and helpful about our furniture needs. We actually went there three times before we finalized our purchase. Please look for prices on their website before you go physically to the store and buy the furniture. In store prices are much higher than web prices. Do your research before you buy.

I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable base from the Naperville Ashley Homestore. My experience dealing with Ashley Homestore representatives can only be described as a nightmare. They lack customer service and have poor delivery service. I confirmed with the sales representative from this store that the delivery people would not be from a third-party company, however, deliverymen from URLO (a third-party company) ended up delivering my mattress and adjustable base. I no longer had my bed & had already made accommodations for that specific day. WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO!?! The delivery men were reckless with my furniture and in the process damaged my hardwood floor. I attempted to resolve this issue with Ashley Homestore. If you must deal with Ashley Homestore’s customer service department, expect to get the RUN-AROUND. I attempted to communicate with the manager Bridget at the Ashley Homestore in Naperville, but was greeted several times with their phone system. When I was eventually able to get ahold of someone, they directed me to contact the customer service phone number which I already had tried. I was assured that Ashley Homestore would be able to assist me; however, over the span of two months and after several email communications, a Guest Response Team Agent had me restate my concern and resubmit photos for the fourth time. Ashley Homestore ultimately put the blame on their third-party service (URLO) and told me I would have to deal with them to resolve this issue. I don’t understand why Ashley Homestore wouldn’t provide some sort of resolution to this issue and have a customer JUMP THROUGH HOOPS to communicate with them. They are not customer service oriented and will PASS-THE-BUCK when it comes to dealing with customer issues or concerns!

Save your money, make a drive to Elgin and go to Big Lots same quality for a fraction of the price. Went in Oct. got told our couches were gonna be here Nov. 1st. They were not. Its now Nov.17 and the delivery guy had to inform me the salesman put in for 2 left pieces instead of left and right for our sectional. So another waiting game until Ashley's inept customer service comes around to (hopefully) solve this. If we're lucky we'll get it before the new year because it sure wont be for thanksgiving or Christmas with their track record!

Never buy your furniture from this location and NEVER GET ASSISTANCE BY A MAN NAMED “Scooby”. I purchased a $5000 sectional couch. And that’s not including the almost $700 delivery fees. The delivery drivers broke almost all of the equipment and then had the nerve to be disrespectful about it when my wife and I were saying that this was unacceptable. You would think spending that much money the business would actually care, but they don’t.

Terrible all around experience, poor quality, lack of communication, and even worse protection plan. Their partner GBS Enterprise is the worst to deal with and will not cover anything. Avoid this extra charge and go elsewhere.
