New to the furniture buying game as a young home owner. Shopped for a while and was never thrilled with how expensive good quality furniture was. Avoided Ashley home furniture because I thought it would be more of the same expensive furniture. Walked in, very nice and presentable. Was not instantly questioned by an over eager salesperson. After looking around for a few minutes Jared approached us and asked what we were looking for and how he could help, he was very relatable and friendly. Told Jared what we were looking for and he pointed us in the right direction. We narrowed down to a few that we liked and met our needs and Jared told us some differences and benefits of the pieces. Ended up purchasing and overall had a great experience and very happy with the final total for the purchase.

I came to Ashley homestore in Naperville 10/05/21 a day before my birthday I was hoping my purchase would arrive before my birthday 😞. But never the less Frank Alonso made the shopping experience hassle free unlike others🤔 their. He even measure for accurate fix to size of my bedroom by floor plan layout. Never the less I will be making another purchase for my kitchen counter top stools that depends how fast bedroom pieces come soon. Our sales associate Jared at the Naperville location was outstanding! He was super-attentive and answered all questions I had. He went over all payment options in great detail and was so patient and gave me space and time to make my decision. Great furniture at reasonable prices plus they are not backordered like other places I have visited!! I highly recommend this store, you will not be disappointed. Great experience and looking forward to receive my furniture!

This store has great collection, especially the living room and dining furniture is good and diverse. The staff is good. They can do a better job at customer service and have a transparency on the actual delivery dates of the items, rather than keeping the customer waiting on false dates .

I saw the same options they show online but it pays to have the prices with you and the credit line approved before you go to get the best prices. They quote quite a bit higher in person.

Do not buy from here. They lied to us about when the couch would be delivered. It was supposed to take 8 weeks and it is now 6 months later. They delivered us half a sectional with an exposed edge. Then was supposed to deliver the other half a month later. They just told us 3 more months when I called. They never called me to tell me they were yet again delayed. I don’t believe I will ever get the other half of the couch. Now I have this hideous half a sectional in my living room.

I highly recommend avoiding this store and especially "Scooby" if you plan to use them. They have horrible customer service and the sales rep is completely unresponsive when there's an issue. Avoid this company at all costs.

My fiancé and I bought a bunch of furniture in June. Scooby, the sales manager knew the sectional that we selected was going in our basement. We even showed him pictures of the basement and the vision that we had. He said, this would fit, no problem. We just received our couch, which we knew would take some time because everything was on back order. When the delivery guys came, they looked at the basement stairs and said, this couch wouldn’t fit. We were confused as to why it wouldn’t make it down the stairs. They then said, it would fit in the family room, so we decided after waiting 4 months for this day to come that we would put it in our family room. They placed it in the family room and it didn’t fit correctly and they said, they can’t take it back. I immediately called customer service and spoke to a representatives and explained the situation. They said, I had two options, I can get a refund or reselect a new couch. They even noted it in their system. We then went to the store and explained our situation to them. The sales lady we were dealing with asked us to show her the couch we purchased on the floor and she said she would have never sold this couch to someone that wanted to put it in their basement. She said, It would never fit! WE HAD A TEMP STORE MANAGER (SCOOBY) TELL US THIS COUCH WOULD FIT KNOWING IT WOULD GO INTO OUR BASEMENT. WE’VE WAITED 4 MONTHS TO FIND OUT THAT A MANAGER SOLD US SOMETHING THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIT. We called customer service again while in the store and the gentleman said, there are no refunds!!! I then asked to speak to the customer service supervisor and he also told me they don’t do refunds!! If we wanted to do a reselect, we would have to wait until the new couch came in for them to take the old couch back out of our home, which potentially could take MONTHS!!! We now have to wait 24-48 hours for the supervisor to review the recorded phone calls to make sure the rep said refunds. Even though it’s in the notes. Ashley furniture doesn’t put their customers first!! I’ve never dealt with such horrible customer service!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO HAVE SCOOBY AS YOUR SALESMAN. WE EVEN REACHED OUT TO HIM ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND NO RESPONSE. IT STARTED WITH HIM AND WE CAN’T EVEN GET A RESPONDS BACK FROM HIM. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else!!

Horrible experience! I received damaged furniture full of dents and scratches! Don’t shop here .. horrible customer service. .. they sent a guy to repair new furniture.. what a joke! First and last time shopping here! Plus very delayed delivery ! 2 months after the date they promised! Save the hassle and hard time! Read all the horrible reviews before you put your money here !
