Ashley Store Naperville, IL

Made the mistake of walking into this Ashley Store after swearing them off years ago bc their quality and customer service are terrible. Found a couch I liked. Not on sale. Wanted the loveseat too. No bundle disc. $4k if you want it. Oh but since it’s over 3900, free delivery and 0% interest. The manager comes over and tells me that they (Ashley Furn) have to pay the interest to the credit card company if I do 0% bc “nobody loans money for free” so that’s why nothing is on sale. Then he says I’m being mean by asking for a discount bc they are going to be out hundreds of dollars by paying my interest. That is NOT how that works lmao. So I start to walk out and the manager literally grabs the arm of our salesgirl (who was great btw) and says “let them walk out”. Guess they didn’t need my 4k today…or ever…it’s cool…other people sell couches.

The collection was great and very good service!

Went in last Saturday and was greeted/talked to by Noelle right away. She was very informative and helpful. Not pushy at all. I loved how she spoke to both me and my boyfriend- it's nice to be treated equally. She got our sale, and our couch arrived today. It's great, and we loved that location and staff. We'll be back I'm sure :) ***EDIT*** I'm so sad the Ashley store posted an automated response instead of actually reading my good review. They wouldn't have confused their own employee with me if that was the case. In any event, Naperville is a good store, and corporate just outed themselves using an automated message to a new client that expressed their appreciation. Wasn't what I was expecting.

We have received the worst customer service. It is truly horrible. The lack of communication and many mistakes have been made. Still no furniture months after purchase and no idea when it will be delivered. Save yourself this frustration and shop elsewhere.

Run don't walk away from this store. If you want to buy furniture this is NOT the place for you. We ordered a sectional over 2 months ago, told it was in stock and to choose a delivery date, which we did. Never came, called the store there was never a delivery date put in for our order. We set a new date, they said it was on backorder. We waited until that date, they then delivered the wrong color. Told us correct color was to be delivered tomorrow. Went today to confirm since we received no confirmation. Turns out yet again we were not scheduled to be delivered to. Now we are told it is n backorder once again. They never bothered with communicating any of this to us. Not to mention many other mistakes were made. It has been told to me twice the district manager will contact me still haven't heard from him. The customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Would never shop there again.

I read some reviews that they were honor the coupons,it probably was different manager. I received a call from head quarters that they were trying get hold of management but not respond their calls. I feel like Ashley discrimination me because I have disability. Now I received the couch but they won't honor the price match or my coupons when they supposed honor it. . Please keep readingto the bottom. I keeping other customers from going through same thing I went through.This issues starting on 8/29/24. When the employee stated they will do price match and they don't or stated we will work with you. False. My whole furniture I wanted come out with the price match. I was happy than manager came stated we can't. I was upset, so I this getting one furniture, instead the whole set I wanted. Plus they don't take the coupon but they stated Ashley will. I wanted other customers know this. Plus special when you stated how much you have to spend at Ashley and they pull that on me , no coupons or price match. FALSE ADVERTISING. Thanks yes I text the lady on reply, I text to them what I went through at Ashley in Naperville. I text the lady I will like to call the headquarters to give a compliment but in text she'll have someone will call. Well I received the call yesterday, let her know what going on. She said they go check into it. And funny I'm getting more coupons, like Ashley will honor it. I even went on Amazon and I received my ottoman, for same price on Ashley website. I don't know what the issues was at Ashley in Naperville.well I haven't nothing more about my issues. So i had to give them a star but i don't think what i went through they should not get a star. Just received my last piece of furniture and couldn't be happier. This is not my first time ordering from Ashley but it is from this location, Palvi was extremely helpful and provided great customer service, had to text her a few times after the purchase and before my delivery and she always kept great communication, helped with all my questions. The last delivery guy was awesome too Juan.

Could not get a person on the phone about my order. Completely impossible. My pregnant wife had to go to the store to get any customer service. Stay away. They also do the classic slimy sales move of making you wait after you tell them what you want, just like a car dealership.

Overall it was fine. One complaint I have is I was expected to pay the full amount even though my couch will not be delivered for 4 weeks. I was expecting to pay 25% down and the balance upon delivery had that been the case I would have give 5 stars

My initial experience was not good. The manager, I'm assuming ( she had a long white coat) was not so kind. She never greeted me and when she noticed I may need help, she asked which door I entered and made a point to make an excuse why no one greeted me. She said the entrance I came through was for employees only. However, there are no signs or locking doors for any patron to be told otherwise. Now after that poor encounter, I was pleasantly greeted by Melissa. Melissa was very friendly, kind, and helpful. She helped me choose a nice piece of furniture. I wasn't able to decide at first, but I came back on a Sunday and Melissa was there to help me. She remembered my name and the piece of furniture I was interested in. Melissa made up for the very rude manager who could take a few pointers from Melissa in customer service.

It was experience, I did make a purchase. However the sectional I did not purchase due lack of styles to choose from.

We had a very nice experience at Ashley shopping for a bedroom set and mattress. We had Lana as our sales associate and she was very professional and knowledgeable especially when it came to the mattresses. She was not pushy, gave us our space, let us have our time while we walked around looking at different sets. Answered our questions and worked with us and we bought a beautiful bedroom set and upgraded to a very nice and comfortable mattress. A lot of our furniture is from Ashley. All around great experience. Definitely would recommend looking there.

Terrible experience. Frank was fine but halfway through he left and palmed me off to Ben. I had to make changes to my order and had given him a heads up that I would call. Needless to say he did not take my call. Messaged me saying he’d call. Finally I had to go back in person. Anyway long story short I finally had to call the head office.

If you like to buy Tempur-Pedic mattress Please do not buy from them!The return and exchange policy is extremely opaque. They said 90 days guarantee, but just for exchange, not return!! even if the mattress is not suitable for me. I spent more than $6000, just got the thing I don’t like. Their attitude changed immediately after I bought it!

Worked with a friendly salesman to order a new bed and mattress. Unfortunately he made a mistake in the sales form, and forgot to add a part of the bed to the sales order. When the delivery occurred several weeks later, the delivery guys told us that Ashley had failed to include all the correct pieces for the bed so they left the bed unassembled. When trying to call the store for support, you can never reach the actual store or speak to the salesperson. You are simply routed to their customer service dept. which is a long wait. Pretty unfortunate and inconvenient, as we'd already disassembled and disposed of our old bed the day prior to delivery.

Edited to 1 star. Close to 3 months and I’ve finally received the furniture but we need a technician out because the condition of the product received. Our recliner makes weird noises and there’s no stability in it. Trying to arrange the technician to come in is incredibly difficult. Ashley Furniture makes everything more complicated and frustrating. I just want resolution. Coran was extremely helpful and kind. We were not pressured and felt very confident in our purchase. Edited to add, be prepared to wait forever and receive no valid updates. Trying to get ahold of any live agent with Ashley is impossible. Better off cancelling the rest of my order than wait for this to continue to be delayed, going on close to 2 months delayed now. Removed 2 stars for that, people in store are friendly but be prepared to wait.

Terrible experience at this store. Despite informing the salesman, Ben, that we were not interested, he slipped in a $1,200 protection plan to our $6,500 purchase after we had gone over all the numbers several times. This led to me having to return to the store the next day to resolve the issue. Ultimately decided to cancel the entire purchase due to the clear and blatant overcharge. If there had been any possibility of misunderstanding, we wouldn’t have pulled the business. Plus, their $500 delivery charge is price gouging at its best. We ended up getting an honest and much better deal at Macy’s.

Frank A was super helpful. He told us where the recliners were and let us look on our own. He was right there when it was time to ask questions. Ordered the best leather recliner!

The sales guy was pushing to sell their stuff by quoting prices way below the tags on the name of discounts and when we agreed to buy, none of the discounts worked. It was all false claim. Although we didn’t try to negotiate and were ready to pay whatever was the original price, the manager still told us that we are haggling. Unpleasant experience in all. Never going back there again.

We had a wonderful experience shopping at Ashley today. We worked with Coran who was do wonderful and helpful. Everything would have gone perfect except my sales people were out of town and 2 others were covering for them. Pretty wide selection of furniture and most prices were fair. But I wanted to write a review on the gentleman who helped us in our search. Coran was patient and helped us immensely. He seemed genuine in wanting to help rather than most sales men and women who just want the commission. I highly recommend requesting Coran, he made the experience stress-free!

Very easy shopping experience. They had a great selection of furniture and the salespeople were not pushy. We bought a couch and will definitely buy more from them in the future.

The sofa purchased from Ashley looks beautiful, but upon closer inspection, all the flaws in the assembly become obvious. After two months of use, I discovered that the upholstery fasteners had come loose. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that half of the fastenings come off with a simple touch (photos attached). The sleeping mechanism leaves much to be desired; specifically, you sleep head down due to a 2-inch height difference in the sleeping area. The attitude of Ashley's sellers changes dramatically immediately after the sale; Our manager didn't even listen to our complaint, interrupted us rudely and said that he was not involved in this. Moreover, the return, exchange and repair policy is extremely opaque. The store refers you to the manufacturer, who, in turn, refuses to return the money for the sofa, but agrees to replace the sleeper mechanism. However, nothing was replaced in 4 months. My advice: Never, under any circumstances, contact Ashley's store. The furniture is of poor quality, there is no decent service after purchase.

Couch was delivered with multiple tears, it has been weeks and it has still not been repaired. Every time I call they 'cannot find the notes' I wait on hold 30 minutes and regularly disconnected. No end in sight for getting this fixed.

I recommend Ashley Furniture in Naperville! The selection was great and we felt comfortable browsing yet totally looked after by many associates. Frank was our guy - very knowledgeable and helpful!

What a refreshing experience my wife and I had at the Ashley Home Furnishings store in Naperville. We walked in looking for a dining room set and were met with a friendly no pressure sales lady. (Lana) She steered us in the correct direction after asking what we were looking for and then left us alone to make a decision. She didn’t hover or pester us. Once we decided on what we wanted she came back over and gave us some options to choose from and we ended up purchasing a new dining room set. We both had a wonderful experience. We will return when we start looking for our next purchase.

I just called the bank Symphony- which works with Ashley Furniture to get my $30 late fee waived because of an error in billing because of a damaged item. The person on the phone wanted me to sign up for some recurring charge for a special order. This is a scam and I am infuriated that I was put through this ridiculous phone call. I kept telling the person on the phone that I wanted to speak about my bill or be transferred to a manager and he said I had to enroll in this offer. If I get mailed that offer and charged anything, I will be going to the BBB. I will no longer be shopping at Ashley given this is the bank and the service they provided today.

Everything was just great! Great value, great look! The only thing that didn't work were the Paris chairs which were a bit too much. I tried to return those after receiving but they wouldn't take those back after delivery. We had Frank help us out. He was very helpful but not the classic used car salesman feel. It was nice to not feel stalked while shopping for furniture. He let us be to look around and figure out what worked. We opted for their white glove delivery which they bring everything inside and set up accordingly.

If you’re looking for a smooth experience buying your next furniture piece, I do NOT suggest working with Kyle from the Naperville store. Everything was fantastic at first. Extremely attentive, a willingness to help us find a piece that really fit our needs, provided his cell phone as an extra buffer in case things didn’t go smoothly. It was short lived after the sale was closed. My furniture was delivered on time, however, we had one arm chair pillow missing. I reached out to Kyle for an update on how to proceed and he said we needed to reach out to customer service, which we did. A week later and they sent the wrong pillow (color, size, texture) and at this point it gets a little annoying having to deal with something so small and I reach back out to Kyle to get another run around that “the store manager is going to handle it as soon as she’s back from PTO”. I spoke to the store manager a few days after I was told I would hear from her and she apologized and said she submitted a ticket for a new pillow. Fast forward two weeks and Kyle blocked my phone number and when confronted in the store his response was “nothing I can do man, sorry”. Thankful for Michaelene the ASM who was diligent in getting the correct ticket submitted for the PILLOW to be sent to my house. Kyle was happy to have our business to get that commission check and as soon as we became “too needy” he decided we’re gonna be someone else’s problem. Extremely disappointed because he initially handled himself like a true professional. I will not be a returning customer and will make sure my referrals go elsewhere. Couch was purchased on the 2nd and here we are on the 30th still waiting.

A week later and they sent the wrong pillow (color, size, texture) and at this point it gets a little annoying having to deal with something so small and I reach back out to Kyle to get another run around that "the store manager is going to handle it as soon as she's back from PTO". I spoke to the store manager a few days after I was told I would hear from her and she apologized and said she submitted a ticket for a new pillow. Fast forward two weeks and Kyle blocked my phone number and when confronted in the store his response was "nothing I can do man, sorry". Thankful for Michaelene the ASM who was diligent in getting the correct ticket submitted for the PILLOW to be sent to my house. Kyle was happy to have our business to get that commission check and as soon as we became "too needy" he decided we're gonna be someone else's problem. Extremely disappointed because he initially handled himself like a true professional. I will not be a returning customer and will make sure my referrals go elsewhere.Couch was purchased on the 2nd and here we are on the 30th still waiting.

Yesterday I went to Ashley store on Rte 59 Naperville and was assisted by Frank and he was very kind and helpful. He gave us space to look for the couches as we needed time to look around the store . Once we were kind of done he came to check and see if we have questions . He assisted us with our questions and concerns . He was very thorough and explained the product very well. We ended up purchasing the sectional reclining couch and will definitely be back for few more items as promised . Great customer service and awesome collection.

Needless to say, we purchased a product that we wanted not something that was pushed on us. We’re not from the area we went to another store nearby. I bought a $4000 couch last year and spent a lot of money on the insurance. 1 year later my cushions are shot, absolutely brutal condition. Apparently this is “standard” for a couch to feel the wood between the cushions. Ashley is a joke and I wouldn’t buy so much as a pillow from them. Shout out to Malika for lying to us during the sales process about the fantastic warranty!

I am very disappointed that I shopped here for my furniture. I was been helped by John Weiland in the store, first I waited almost 40 minutes for someone to help out than I came up to John and asked if he can help, because I’m in a hurry for a meeting. The purchase went smooth, but when I got home and looked at the invoice purchase. I noticed the delivery fee was overpriced and I felt like it was a ripoff. My husband called John directly to make a complaint and John was not helpful at all. He even hanged up the phone!! I would like a call back from the store manager, if possible. This is so unprofessional and I don’t want other customers to go through what I just did. We customers come in and make purchases but we don’t want to be ripped off either.

Went to Ashley furniture to buy a bedroom set. Our salesperson who went by the name of Scooby. Was terrific. Answered all our questions. Made sure we were buying the correct mattress for ourselves . He just made it all around easy so if You're ever in the need ask for Scooby.

We were attended by Frank Alonso. As soon as we walked in he came to greet us and showed us what we were looking for and filled us in with their promotions. He was very professional and helpful about our furniture needs. We actually went there three times before we finalized our purchase. Please look for prices on their website before you go physically to the store and buy the furniture. In store prices are much higher than web prices. Do your research before you buy.

If i could give Ashley Furniture no stars i would. We spent $4,000 on a bed frame, matress & box springs in May 2023. Come November 2023 the pegs are coming off the bed frame and the side rail is falling off. I called to have someone come fix / replace the bed frame and they're saying because i moved 4 months ago they're denying my claim. We moved with professional movers and did not take apart the bed frame. We moved in July of 2023 so for 4 months after the move the bed was perfectly fine. This is a 6 month old bed that's falling apart. I will never shop here again and i encourage everyone to find another place to get your furniture. You'll be over charged and left with faulty furniture and no customer service help at Ashley Furniture.

Frank helped us, and he was friendly. They have a lot of options, but they don't have a lot of variety within each option.

I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable base from the Naperville Ashley Homestore. My experience dealing with Ashley Homestore representatives can only be described as a nightmare. They lack customer service and have poor delivery service. I confirmed with the sales representative from this store that the delivery people would not be from a third-party company, however, deliverymen from URLO (a third-party company) ended up delivering my mattress and adjustable base. I no longer had my bed & had already made accommodations for that specific day. WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO!?! The delivery men were reckless with my furniture and in the process damaged my hardwood floor. I attempted to resolve this issue with Ashley Homestore. If you must deal with Ashley Homestore’s customer service department, expect to get the RUN-AROUND. I attempted to communicate with the manager Bridget at the Ashley Homestore in Naperville, but was greeted several times with their phone system. When I was eventually able to get ahold of someone, they directed me to contact the customer service phone number which I already had tried. I was assured that Ashley Homestore would be able to assist me; however, over the span of two months and after several email communications, a Guest Response Team Agent had me restate my concern and resubmit photos for the fourth time. Ashley Homestore ultimately put the blame on their third-party service (URLO) and told me I would have to deal with them to resolve this issue. I don’t understand why Ashley Homestore wouldn’t provide some sort of resolution to this issue and have a customer JUMP THROUGH HOOPS to communicate with them. They are not customer service oriented and will PASS-THE-BUCK when it comes to dealing with customer issues or concerns!

Save your money, make a drive to Elgin and go to Big Lots same quality for a fraction of the price. Went in Oct. got told our couches were gonna be here Nov. 1st. They were not. Its now Nov.17 and the delivery guy had to inform me the salesman put in for 2 left pieces instead of left and right for our sectional. So another waiting game until Ashley's inept customer service comes around to (hopefully) solve this. If we're lucky we'll get it before the new year because it sure wont be for thanksgiving or Christmas with their track record!

I purchased sectional 10/24. delivered 11/03/2023 with two pieces broken. I reported immediately to store manager Bridget. after 11 days two replacement pieces were delivered today. 11/14/23 delivery driver stated first recliner piece delivered was broken as well and refused to connect two pieces delivered today for fear of damaging motor. he argued with my son and my son called customer service to file a complaint , at this point I do nit have an operating sectional, I am extremely upset am going to call news to report.

Never buy your furniture from this location and NEVER GET ASSISTANCE BY A MAN NAMED “Scooby”. I purchased a $5000 sectional couch. And that’s not including the almost $700 delivery fees. The delivery drivers broke almost all of the equipment and then had the nerve to be disrespectful about it when my wife and I were saying that this was unacceptable. You would think spending that much money the business would actually care, but they don’t.

During my recent visit to Ashley Furniture (Naperville), I encountered a disheartening situation. Upon entering the store, the bald white salesman (Frank) chose not to acknowledge or assist me, despite making eye contact. However, when a white family entered just a few steps behind me, he immediately extended a warm welcome and even provided them with promotional information on the week's discounts. I raised this issue with the manager, who offered her apologies and connected me with Maria, a minority employee. Maria went above and beyond to assist me, resulting in my purchase of two sofas from Ashley Furniture. Thank you Maria! Continue to do great things!

Less than a year ago. I purchased a large sectional with an ottoman. Ottoman is collapsing and I am being told it is normal wear. Even as a foot rest. They are not willing to repair or replace. While to some my cost was not much. To me it was. I paid $3000 for it in a package deal. Junk furniture. Do not buy from them. To start with they wanted me to drive 2.5 hours to drop it off to them. Sales was great but the after service is poor and they will find an excuse. A foot rest should not be breaking down in less than a year. It is sagging in the middle and is even visible in pictures. Mind you I work all day. The foot rest might get 10 hours of use in a 7 day week.

My family had a great experience here. Our sales person Malika was great! She gave us space to look around and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Once we purchased the sectional we liked she kept us up to date with it arriving at their warehouse. All pieces were there in 5 days when I was told 7! If you come here ask for Malika!

I was looking for a black microfiber side chair. I decided to visit Ashley Homestore in Naperville. What a grate place to shop for furniture. I was greeted by Kyle, one of the Selling Sales Managers. What a pleasant experience. Kyle, along with other members of the Ashley Store team, worked together to find the black microfiber side chair I was looking for. It had been discontinued. Working together the team found that there was only one black microfiber chair left in stock. Kyle made arrangements to have that chair delivered to my home. I commend Kyle and each member of Ashley's management team that helped me get the chair that completed my existing living room set. If I was able to give negative stars I would. My son purchased furniture from the Naperville store. He was moving to Texas. He was sent an email on the morning of the delivery that his furniture would be delivered and he would be the third stop. He then received a call from the delivery man that he was there early. My son was still traveling from Chicago and he was 45 minutes away still. The delivery driver said he couldn’t wait. This was at 830am it is now 430pm and he still can’t get a response to when his furniture will be delivered. He had to go out and buy something to sleep on. The manager at the Naperville store didn’t do anything to help when I called several times. Frank Alonzo at the Naperville store was very rude and acted like it was our fault for missing the delivery. DO NOT BUY Anything from Ashley Homestore! They have no customer service and will not help you if you have an issue and they will not call you back!

She told me that the cost for in-store purchase is different than what is offered online, and she could "give me a discount" but was not able to give it to me for the online price.I then canceled my order. I was told that a check would have to be mailed to me for the $1,500 cash payment. By June I had not received the refund check and continuously called and texted through their online chat. I was told numerous times that a manager would call me back to give me an update. I never received a call. I was told that the check was issued on three different occasions, yet I never received my refund. It has been FOUR MONTHS and I have NOT RECEIVED MY $1,500 REFUND. I went into the store on 9/7/23 and spoke with Kyle Lackner who is also a store manager. He told me he would speak with Michalene about refunding my money and they would call me back by 9/11/23. As of 9/17/21, I still have not received a call back or my refund.This Naperville location is family owned and operated. The "managers" at this store take advantage of people, rip them off and don't even follow up to resolve issues. I plan on filing a Notice of Dispute and taking them to arbitration to get my money back. Terrible Support after Purchase !! Extremely poor customer experience, They make you feel like they will take care of you but the sales person has raised their hands. I have been a very loyal customer for years and recently I have made a purchase of around $15,000 and during the furniture delivery (Aug 16) we received a faulty dinning table and 4 wobbly chairs and got assurance from the delivery team that it will be fixed soon. I have shared the defect pictures with Ashley and after me reaching out to them again after a week, got a call from “Saw enterprise furniture Repair” after 2 weeks, who scheduled the appointment to Sept 13 to fix the issue, I have received a call from them today saying that they have to reschedule the appointment to October 13th. I have reached out to Ashley and they are not helping, Seems like I have to wait 2 month after my initial delivery to get my furniture fixed, I feel like a tennis ball going back and forth with Ashley and SAW furniture repair. Dont buy anything from here. If you receive faulty furniture they will not help you post purchase. Everything is handled remotely by Ashley and the sales personnel who were so nice during the purchase won't even bother to help. If you receive faulty furniture then I wish you luck in resolving the issue with their 3 rd part technician support. Ashley has lost a loyal customer !

Great sales experience with Lana when buying our temperpedic bed last weekend. Lana is very knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to temperpedic beds. She was very courteous, personable and patient during our sales experience, giving us all the time we needed to address our individual needs before making up our minds. Absolutely no pressure to complete the sale from Lana or the store manager. Lama has continued to be helpful after the sale. She’s simply wonderful!

BUYERS BE CAREFUL!!!!! Horrible experience with Ashley Furniture Store! I spend $25,057.73 and I had nothing but problems. Those all other reviews about having a bad experience with delivery and the quality of their furniture are all real!!Now, my furniture was delivered on August 9, 2023. I ordered the following:-1.) Queen bedroom set (two night stands, dresser with mirror, bed frame)2.) King bedroom set (two night stands, dresser with mirror, bed frame and five drawer chest)3.) Living room sofa , love seat, two end tables along with a cocktail table)4.) One round table 5.) Six side chairs for the round table6.) One side chair in addition to the six chair for the round table7.) Two leather three-seater power recliners8.) Two leather single seat power recliner Problems: 08/9/231.) The king bed was delivered without box spring support, I was told by the delivery team someone would reach out and come and deliver the support. Next week the the delivery team came out with the support planks and did not bring the legs to support the planks. They said "oh we were told that the legs were here and just bring the planks..amigo just call warehouse they will set it" I called the customer service and till this date 08/23 I am waiting for the legs"2.) The love seat was brought into my living room and it was damaged, I told the delivery team to take it back since it was damaged, and this was the response " amigo, the tech will come and fix it ..its okay" I said "how can you fix this damage, please take it back and send me a new one". I was delivered a new loveseat the following week but with the wrong 3.) When they brought the leather 3 seater recliner sofa, they could not attach the sofa together since the piece was damaged. They asked for a wrench from me which I did not have, so they told me a tech will come out to fix the problem. I called customer service and told them about the problem and they said "someone will call and schedule an appointment to come and fix it" On 08/10 I called Lana and she said she is working on it with her manager to fix this issue. 08/11, I called customer service to see when will they come out, and they asked my to send a picture of the couch said someone will call me . 08/14 I called customer service and told them about the issues, they said they have no records regarding the leather sofa, and now they will create a ticket. 08/16 I called Lana, no update, I called customer service, they said "oh we need to order a part and once you get the part, call us and then we will schedule a tech visit" from 08/16 - 08/23 no communication from Ashley. I called 08/17, 08/18, 08/21, 08/22 each time they would say a tech will call back to schedule a visit, NO ONE CALLED! Then I got a text message on 8/23/23 "we need to order some replacement parts to get these connected. When you receive the parts let us know and we will send a tech." at this point I lost my mind and texted back saying I had received the parts 08/16 and I have been calling to get an appt. 08/23, STILL NO UPDATE!

Dont buy anything from here. Very poor quality and furnitures come with defects. They will not help you when you call post purchase and if you reported any defects. Purchased a recliner from them and I see paint wearing off already from the leather. The recliner has become a junk piece already from its looks. The GBS all protection which is almost $800 will not cover any manufacturing defects. The GBS agency will ask you contact Ashley store and Ashely store will ask you to contact GBS and you as a customer will be the tennis ball. Its a $6000 recliner. Dont waste your time shopping here!! As mentioned in the reply below I reached out to the sales team. No one was happy to help.

Update: The third repair man in 6 months came to install a part on our defective love seat that we bought In February. When he arrived he looked at the part and told us that it would not correct the problem. He said that another part would need to be ordered. What? We now have had 3 repair men order three different parts in the last 6 months. I asked for a replacement love seat and he said that Ashley's policy is not to replace but to repair even if they delivered a defective piece of furniture. I have called customer service numerous times and only get a script about Ashley's policies. No customer service whatsoever. I now have a defective love seat, three big boxes of parts that the repairman can't take back (policy) and customer service department that is totally ineffective. To say I am frustrated is an understatement.

TERRIBLE SUPPORT post-purchase. In the store is a great experience. They make you feel like they will take care of you. Furniture is nice, but pray you don’t have a problem. Literally WEEKS working with four different support people.

Any point in these reviews you read "We’re sorry to hear that your experience was not up to our own standards." Truth of the matter is this IS their standards. Expect faulty furniture with no exchange. The in-store experience was great! Employees were wonderful. Our couch and ottoman are great! Delivered quickly and has been great additions to our home. The TV stand however, came in rough with several quality issues. Built with cheap materials that were not used on the piece in the stores' floor display. It's like target quality but much more expensive. We've gotten approval for an exchange and yet no one will actually process it. Called the center several times in addition to going in-store within 24 hours of delivery to finalize details for an exchange. In-store we were told to call. The best they could do was put in ANOTHER order and that we will be contacted. Now about to hit the 72 hour mark from delivery, still nothing. Feels safe to assume we're stuck with what we got.

Great selection of couches to try in the store and the staff was really helpful. Can’t wait to get our furniture next week!

Very poor experience, ordered multiple items worth $10000 and many were delivered with defects. Got the assurance from the delivery person that it will be replaced and someone will call to replace. No feedback yet . It’s been 1 month. I would not suggest anyone buying from Ashley. Also the sales person has raised their hand and said they can’t do anything from their ends.

I ordered a bed for my daughter’s bedroom almost two months ago. Twice they came to deliver bed with broken pieces and I’m really upset about it!! How can’t they check if all is in perfect and good condition to deliver.?! I’m not happy missing two Saturdays of work waiting for them and not able to have my daughter’s bed yet. Please Ashley take this seriously and make customer happy. I bought all my furniture from you guys and now see that things are changing and not for good. Thanks

Bought a wonderful set of mid century modern living room furniture. Kyle helped me and he was fantastic! He was very helpful, incredibly nice and took his time to explain everything without being pushy. it was a pleasure working with him!

The worst, will never ever buy anything. Bought recliner and living room couches worth close to $3000. The recliner came faulty and did not recline. For over 3 weeks, I have been told, the technician will call to schedule to fix. Didn't happen and the store is not helping at all. Apparently, everything is handled remotely by warehouse and the sales personnel (who were so nice until the credit card swiped) won't even bother to help. I am taking this to BBB but just wanted to caution if you get anything that is not what you expect, then I wish you luck. Wanted to support local businesses but with this experience, will be better off buying online and having a handyman to put it together which is likely less expensive than their delivery charge. So NEVER EVER again.

I had a great service today. I went just to check some recliner. I was welcome in properly. Marc expend time with me and give me the time I needed. He is very professional. I finally decided to get a new sofa and new chair. I recommend Marc 100%.

Furniture buying is becoming like a car buying 😩 inflate the prices and then bargain. Dishonesty is at its Supreme. Online prices are cheaper than store prices, and constatly trying to sell warranty, service and finance plans. On the top of this after completing buying process I have been directed to pickup dinning table from Romeoville location with only address given to me, no phone number to check if the store is open or not. I have to Google it and still no one was picking up the phone at either store, so as per sales reps direction I decided to drive up 20 miles to pickup the dining table and found the store was open and pickup is only possible on Tuesdays and one otherday which was bummer. Now I cant cancel my order as all sales are final. Oveall very disappointing experience

I purchased a sectional sofa for our home a little over a year ago. At this time I signed up for an Ashley credit card which was incentivized to assist in the purchase, toting the 0% APR for one year. However, in this time span we received monthly e-statements (which I don't recall ever signing up for.) Each month I would receive an email stating the minimum balance would be paid on X date, however, nothing stating the balance due. I wasn't sure when the year was up and tried multiple times to access my account online. However, synchrony is set-up in order to recover your username or password the full account number must be provided. Without the physical credit card, I was never able to access the account. I never received a paper statement and did not have the full account number. Needless to say just a few days ago I found the physical credit card, was able to recover my account and to my surprise see that the year was up a few months ago and now I had ~29% interest for the year tacked on. Nearly $1200 on a $2100 something balance. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I could have paid the balance when it was due. No one at synchrony nor the store will help me. They say I had 30 days to dispute it. The issue is I didn't know it was placed on. I believe this is intentionally misleading. I am well aware this is how synchrony makes its money, and how Ashley ropes people into making large purchases. Make it impossible to access your account and never provide you with financial information that would make someone call to question. I can't fathom after the thousands we've spent through your store that nothing can be done to remove it. Absolutely terrible customer service.

On March 31, 2023 I went to the Ashley Home Store in Downers Grove, IL to purchase a specific mattress and bed frame. I was going to purchase the tempurpedic adjustable base to go with my tempurpedic mattress but the employee suggested a cheaper bed frame So I went with that one. I spent approximately $4000 between both items. Once the purchase was completed she then told me it would be 7 days until I could get them delivered. I called 8 days later and said I still haven't received a call to schedule delivery. The same employee said it's going to be another 7 days. I wasn't happy but I was understanding. On April 18, 2023 I called and left a message for the employee who helped me and left a message. She never called me back. April 19, 2023 I called the store and went into an automated system where I was told my order will be shipping to their store on May 10, 2023. So I requested to speak with a manager and I spoke with Randy just 1 minute after the automated system told me May 10th and he told me it's not being shipped to their store until May 12th. Randy was useless and did not offer any help or suggestions. So at this time I emailed corporate who said they would try to find the frame at another store. 2 days later I was advised, via email, that she could not locate it. I informed corporate that for the inconvenience they should upgrade me to the tempurpedic adjustable base. Corporate told me no because it's more money. They did not offer me anything at all got the inconvenience. This was my first experience with Ashley Home Store and I will never shop there again!

It's a very welcoming and comfortable space for everyone. I interacted with two furnishing professionals, namely, Melissa Patel and Jim Passantino, about two months apart, and we decided to buy furniture thereafter. Melissa and Jim were knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I recommend the store on Route 59 in Naperville, Illinois.

Very pathetic experience with Ashley stores especially with their manager Monica. I ordered a sofa bed (set along with chairs and tables). After 4 weeks they delivered only the chairs and next day I got a call from their manager that they discontinued sofa bed and asked me to come store and reselect. I told them that they got to take the chairs from my home which i purchased as a set but Monica said she can’t do that and asked me to talk to customer care. She didn’t have any respect to listen to the customer concerns. Today she called and said I got to do Reseletion by tomorrow else I won’t get option. I said I am out of town but she doesn’t care. One of my worst ever experiences and I don’t recommend any of you to purchase anything in Ashley. If management is reading this comment / review you have to take action against Monica ( Ashley manager) otherwise you are going to continue losing business.

Melissa was a pleasure to work with as we shopped for our new mattress and bed at Ashley Furniture in Naperville. She was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to answering all of our questions and helping us find the right one for us. All of the staff at this store seemed very friendly and I would definitely recommend Melissa!

I have purchased, furniture for my basement, living room, dinning room and bedroom and they have always been very good to deal with. I recently purchased another living room set and kitchen table. After the delivery, I did not want to make the drivers wait on me as I was stop 8 of 15 and they let me know this several times. long story short the table a high top looks amazing and we really liked it, however, with the chairs it is just to big for the room. I Immediately (within the hour) to share my desire for an exchange.I asked if we can exchange it for an even more expensive table and chairs. The store referred me to customer service who then told me that the store would have to do this, it was a mere exchange. She said once it is sold they could not take it back. well that's not true. I had an issue with my bed I purchased there and it was replaced.I was hung up on twice and was told I would receive a call back which never happened. As you can se by their rating they do not stand by their product and should not even state that they have customer service. We all know the feeling how you are jumped on when walking into a store to get a sale, once something goes wrong, they act like you don't exists. just horrible customer service and I will never go back.

Funny story- online price is $900, store price $1600 + 25% off 😂; when it was confronted to the sales person, she was ready to price match! When I mentioned I do have a $50 gift card from Ashley, she was not ready to apply the coupon to the total! When I said, on this scenario I will buy online itself, with the very rude tone she stated she was wasting her time on us! Ashley team: if your sales person is so busy, please don’t send them behind the customer & then complain we wasted their time; also, please don’t fool the people with huge difference in online / in store prices.

Just got furniture delivered. Our new table was damaged so I am waiting to hear from someone on when the replacement will come, so we are now without a kitchen table AND we are missing pillows that are supposed to come with the couch set we just spent thousands on. Called the store 20 times to try and get a hold of someone right away. I would have gladly called the driver/delivery guy if they provided a work phone number for him as I realized the couch pillows were missing as he was pulling off and had no way to get a hold of him. I called the store and an 866 number so many times to not have anyone pick up is absurd. Also just realized the delivery team didnt connect the chais to the loveseat before leaving. Awful experience.

The in-store experience was excellent. However, the delivery experience is poor 5 times now trying to get delivery scheduled and each time we find out some pieces are on back order or my delivery date was messed up or scheduled incorrectly. There was only one person who contacted me that I could even fully understand and did a good job initially resolving to find out later on the delivery had to be canceled yet again, due to a piece on back order. It’s getting exhausting. Trying to rearrange my work schedule to make sure I’m available for delivery that keeps getting canceled. If you are going to shop here, I would get some reassurances on delivery upfront especially when they’re charging you a tremendous amount for delivery I’m sure I’m going to get the canned answer of email me or text me your concerns at a specific number. I’m just on the fence of canceling this order and going with somebody else. It’s sad because we bought a lot of furniture here over the years.

Never purchase furniture from this store! Ordered a sectional to be delivered to my home did all my measurements delivery guys refused to use balcony to deliver furniture. No sectional out a days work have to wait 2 weeks for refund. Horrible experience!!!!

Researched a few options but end up coming back to Ashley. Happy with my choices & my store rep, Malika. She was very patient with me, very professional and not pushy at all! loved her recommendations too. Even my deliver guys were great. Very efficient and quick. But when I found my coffee table, base had been broken, and call to report it, instead of sending out a new one, they plan to send someone out to fix this. Not sure I like that approach. I had bought new and expected unbroken furniture, but we shall see how the repair goes. That is my only complaint. Otherwise everything else was fabulous.

I loved how we weren't hounded the minute we walked in. It was busy so I'm not sure if it was because there were so many people or because it's now their policy not to hound. Regardless, I appreciated the time to wander freely and discuss different pieces privately with my husband. The woman who completed our sale was kind, quick, and efficient. My favorite part about Ashley was the protection plan! That was the best offer we had seen after shopping at other stores.

I have to give this one star in spite of the fact that the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. I bought the king size Porter bed, it was delivered and everything appeared to be ok. I didn't sleep in the bed the day it was delivered but the following day when I was putting on the sheets, the bed collapsed. When I went to the store, they told me there's nothing they can do since I accepted delivery (there was nothing obviously wrong the bed when I accepted delivery. I had no idea just lying on it to put sheets on would cause it to break. Otherwise, I would have never accepted the delivery). I asked for store credit, so I can get another bed, because I had no confidence in the bed I bought, but I was told that once delivery is accepted, it's out of their hands. They will send someone to fix it in 1-3 days. In the meantime, I moved into a new house and I have no bed. In spite of the good service I received while purchasing the bed, I won't be making any future purchases at Ashley Furniture.

Update 2/25...just refused piece 3,that has same problems as the original. Apparently they don't understand the concept of pre inspected. What should have been handled in a week it's now 49 days of emails, calls, going into the store and talking with the manager, I still have the original piece of garbage in my house.

Ashley had an awesome president's day sale-the storage ottoman I wanted was $219 instead of $300, and there was no delivery fee. Even though the store was quite busy, a manager helped me place the order ( had to go to the store to use a $100 visa card towards the purchase). I was finished in less than 30 min.

The sales rep did a good job in helping me find the furniture I wanted. Her manager pressured me into buying the protection plan after I told her NO several times.

We couldn't have had a more terrible experience. Not just with the store, but with the distribution center as well. It took 5 times for our furniture to be delivered. It was always one thing or another. So much miss communication with the store and the DC. The store would blame the DC & vice versa. To top it all off the delivery team was so incredibly rude! Tracking snow in and out our house. Any questions we had they seemed annoyed by. Left wrapping and boxes outside our door. Just a very horrible experience over all. We will seriously have to consider shopping here again because we were definitely not pleased at all.

Good quality furniture and sales people. However, when we got the furniture it didn't fit as well as we liked. We felt like a sectional would do better. Unfortunately they don't do returns at all (it's still unused with tags still on it.) I thought maybe they would but we would still have to pay for delivery. Admittedly partly our fault but disappointing they don't do returns at all.

I bought two recliners last month and from the first day it started to discolor and leave stains on shirts and pants , and now i am having a hard time to bring in the service to solve the defect and no one is giving me a clear answer on when they will show up, I know for sure that the store has nothing to do about it and i could say the staff is so kind and supportive , but the whole after sale service is truly frustrating !

Our in store experience was great. When it came time for delivery we kept having to call to check status, no one ever reached out. It took a long time to actually speak to a person. Finally 3 months after we ordered, we called they said our counter height table was ready but the stools were on back order but they would be coming soon. We went ahead and accepted delivery of the table after returning the first one due to scratches. We then called to check on the stools the day after we received the table and were told they were discontinued and we would have to pick something else out. We went into the store but could not find any other stools we liked. While in the store we asked them to cancel the stools and we were told they could not, had to be done through customer service. Since we had taken delivery of the table they said we could not return it. I made the case that had they been honest with us and informed us about the stools, we would have had the opportunity to cancel the table. At least we felt canceling the delivery charge we paid would be the least they could do. After at least 3-4 conversations they agreed to waive the delivery. But they only waived part of it. We found a table we like better elsewhere so this brand new table we are paying for is in 2 parts in our garage collecting dust. My advice is if you are getting items from different furniture lines, make sure they are all delivered together so they cannot do to you what happened to us and don't expect them to tell you any information, as we always reached out to them, they never called us to give us status.

I worked with Malika with my first couch purchase. She did a phenomenal job with making sure I felt comfortable and satisfied with not only the product, but also her great customer service. She most certainly went above and beyond for me and her efforts do not go unnoticed. Ashley Homestore has a leg-up compared to other furniture companies. I just had kitchen chair’s delivered and they are wobbly and about to fall apart. I was told the chairs would be delivered in 2 weeks and after almost 2 months, I finally received these sub par chairs. I called customer service and they said my ticket is still open so they can’t do anything yet. So my little kids have to sit on unsteady chairs and who knows when this will be resolved. This is my last purchase from Ashley.

had a TV stand/cabinet delivered today and all over the top surface is black specks, paint, tar like substance. went to pick one off which caused the finish to come up with it which left a scar.how does something like that even leave the warehouse without being inspected first, especially for something so obvious.

Customer service is awful, sales is only there to take your money and the warranty is a total scam, do not buy! This is the first poor review I have ever posted - We had significant issues with a previous order that we purchased from the Homestore in Naperville, IL but after exhausting other options, we decided to try Ashley one more time. Big mistake. We were quoted an 8-16 week lead time for our table and chairs, it took 8 months. My sales rep was non-existent unless I reached out to her and the only updates I received were to tell me my order was available for delivery, only have them not show up for the scheduled delivery FOUR times! Claiming they hadn't received the product in yet, except for the one time that they said they decided to fulfil someone else's order with the product that was reserved for me. Their explanation. One of the chairs arrived broken, but I didn't notice until the next day. I contacted the Homestore I purchased from, but they told me they couldn't help and that I needed to contact customer service. CS told me to contact the warranty company and they told me to contact the manufacturer. After 11 calls, I was finally given a case number and I received a text asking for pictures stating "I am only here for 10 more minutes, then I am off for a couple days". Flash forward 3 months, a dozen phone calls and a missed repair order that was scheduled for today, I received phone call that said they would not be coming and they would send me a piece (wrong piece, not what's broken) that will arrive in "weeks to months, who knows" and I can call for repair then. I contacted the store again and finally got in touch with the GM, who is as unprofessional as they come. I asked for help, he denied, "not my concern, I'm in sales". I asked for a refund on the SCAM warranty, he again denied. I asked why he has never returned a single one of my phone calls and he replied, "I'm too popular to deal with a just a single person". These are all real quotes for Ashley Furniture. Stay clear, buy elsewhere!

Horrible customer service. These people just tell you what you want to hear and make promises they can’t follow through with. We’ve had so many complications with our furniture being delivered, multiple times they’ve PROMISED us a date and almost every single time it never came on the date promised and was pushed back every time. Also there was missing furniture with almost every delivery we’ve had. very frustrating, will never shop here for furniture again…

this is for online order....not store.....Worst company ever.... No customer service. If Products are defective.. they will ask for you to donate and then they will provide replacement..... So you need run around for their faulty product... also replacement takes months....BIG NO.

UPDATE. I received the comment from ashley(owner) and was asked text or email my contact info and order info to there service department. Haven't heard any response yet. Be careful when buying a mattress. Make sure you spend a couple of hours on it 4 or 5 times before buying it. We bought a sealy mattress and after 3 weeks or so it was hurting my wife's back. We called Ashley and they didn't have a 30 day comfort warrenty. We went to the store and talked to a manager and she contacted their customer service department to see what if anything could be done. After a week I received a call from them and there wasn't anything they were going to do about it. So we have to go buy another mattress and it WILL NOT be from Ashley. We will by from a reputable company that stands behind their products and offers a trial period for a mattress. Mattresses last ten years. You really need to take your time when buying one and make sure they have a 30 or sometimes a 90 day comfort warrenty.

Very DISAPPOINTED in Ashley furniture and sales team .. they lie to close a sale when they know the items aren’t in stock .Also sales rep and manager are deceptive.. you will not be able to return any merchandise when it says online you have a option too if items was damaged or not as description .. I WOULD AND WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN .. there are to many other place with good quality furniture.. this place is abt to go out of business look at the high prices and compare to others .. it’s all greed .. good luck

We went to the Ashley Furniture in Naperville off 75th & Rte 59. Maria is an awesome Sales person. She greeted us as soon as we walked in and assisted us every step of the way. We will seek her assistance whenever we return.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever purchased furniture from. Waited weeks for my bed, delivered was scheduled for 12/14/22 between 8:30-11:30. No one showed up. Called many times spoke to many different people no one was able to do anything other than tell me wait some more. Driver shows up at 2:45 I was not home at that point as he wal almost 3 hours late. I asked him to wait 15 min for me to be able to drive home and was told company policy is that they only wait 10 minutes. So we customers get to wait hours passed they window but they can only wait 10 minutes. Called dispatch and customer service and one person more unprofessional than the other. Actually had the one of them tell me she was in bed in her pajamas in tears as and she didn’t care. The absolute disrespect for peoples time and disregard for their responsibility was just so frustrating that after talking to about 10 different people in the company all they could do is reschedule me for another 2 weeks out. I refuse to give my money to a company like that so I canceled my order. I would rather wait longer and buy from a company that cares and takes responsibility for their mistakes than to give my money to this horrible company

Particularly Frank helped us get a decent price and walked us through the whole shopping process with patience and smile. I highly recommend this place for anything furniture.

We felt great about or purchase. We purchased set of Jeanette dining room chairs and bench. Also, Home theater leather power recliner and power sofa. Nice.

STAY FAR AWAY!! I ordered furniture in July 2021 and I am still waiting! Ashley keeps cancelling my order and saying they issued me a refund for the furniture because when I reply to their automated delivery texts, they do not get my response so they just decide to cancel the order (not just the delivery, but the entire order!) On top of that, the refunds that they say they issue are non-existent. So I currently have a bedroom chest that I paid for in July 2021 that I cannot get delivered to me and did not get a refund for. I also had a dresser delivered damaged in July 2022 and called immediately to get it replaced. It is December 2022 and I am still waiting for the replacement because they keep cancelling my order because of their automated delivery text system. I also returned a loveseat in July 2021 and was never issued a refund! I cannot get ahold of anyone in Customer Service and when I do they tell me I have to go into the store because they cannot help me. This is by far the worst store I have ever dealt with! I ordered furniture from Bob's Furniture at the same time and I had absolutely no issues and got everything delivered quickly and without damage. I will NEVER order from Ashley again!

It was a very good experience shopping for mattress at Ashley Naperville. Maria was very helpful. I want to add that I am a loyal customer of Ashley now, their furnitures are great for the price. During my latest visit, Pallavi helped me with my order and she went above and beyond and helped me resolve my delivery requirements.

Ashley furniture is a great place to shop. They’ve stopped using chemicals and flame retardants in their cushions in 2015 (as soon as California firefighters won their case). Their furniture has great details and they stand behind their products. I worked with Maria and had a great experience!

She also didn’t over feature us she answered questions and guides us to make a decision. It’s very rare we spend that kind of money the same day we start looking but she made it easy. She also explained new mattresses and zero gravity frames for our future needs. She did well!

At time of purchasing our two couches we purchased a warranty. We discover now that it does not cover the couches less than 6 months later when the threads are unraveling in the stitching. It covers punctures and stains buit not the actual quality of the furniture built. If you read the warranty you find out that very little to nothing is covered. Ashley does provide a 1 year warranty for the manufature defect and has stated they will contact me to arrange for a technician to come out and make the repairs.

Shopping at Ashley was such a positive experience. We were greeted by Marcus at front door. He wasn't a pushy sales person. He told us about the sale that was going on and said if we needed help he would find us. We knew what we were looking for Marcus found us and the sale was done within a half hour. He was fabulous!

Never buying anything from Ashley again. Bed frame broke down after 6 months and been waiting for part replacement for 5 months. It’s a piece of wood and taking them more than 5 months to replace? Bed frame is unusable and they cannot offer anything but to wait for replacement part.

I'll definitely never have anything from Ashley picked up again. Had a bad experience with their last delivery so I opted to pick it up what a mistake. First they call to say it's ready then you call back and it's not going g to be ready for 2-4 weeks. Then told it'll be ready by Monday forget to mention they're closed on Mondays. Then I call to confirm the order and I'm told to expect it in two weeks. Then I get a text that the order is ready for pick up between 10-6 Tuesday (today) I've been waiting over an hour...

We had such an incredible experience at the Naperville location! I called Thursday with questions regarding some items I saw online. I was connected with Lana, a sales specialist there. She was very patient with me on the phone and kind. We decided to go in yesterday and meet with Lana. I wanted to take a look at the items in person and look around in general. It was wonderful working with her because she gave is space, she didn't hound us either and when we has questions she was very helpful. Aside from the furniture we purchsde, she even helped us pick out a mattress that accommodated the needs of my Husband and I. We will definitely be going back to this location for future purchase and will certainly request Lana.

we had 2 sofas delivered on Sept 7 (about month after order placed) one was good and one was defective. we were contacted by the warehouse getting a replacement and setup a delivery for Oct 18. no delivery happened and no one called or emailed or texted that there was a delay. when you have to be at home and no advance notification of delays it is very frustrating and inconsiderate. we called them about it and they said warehouse wont get it until Oct 28. and maybe deliver the next week at earliest. that says we will have a min wait of 2 months ( maybe more since Oct 28 is only an estimate) for a replacement. the sales are good, but their customer support is terrible. if everything goes well it is all good. but if there is any issue, then they do not care about the customer because they already have your money. bottom line you need to contact them continuously because they will not contact you. also dont take a day off work or a delivery until you contact them the day before to ensure they are delivering because they dont care if you waste vacation days for nothing.

Terrible customer service! Had a piece of furniture that broke and received the run around between store and GBS protection that we spent $400 on. Operations Manger at Naperville was awful. Lost a good customer.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS ASHLEY STORE. All the negative reviews are accurate. Sales people over promise, and once the order is placed they do not care how miserable your experience is. From delays, to cancellations, to damaged products. ALL IN ONE ORDER. Store manager yelled at me because I asked for them to waive the shipping fee. I offered a sofa, loveseat, chair, king bed, dresser, chest, and two nightstands. They cancelled half my bedroom furniture for some reason. They will not return it bacause the first half has been delivered. I've been waiting a week to know when the rest will be re-ordered, and nothing. I paid in full, so they have my money, and I do not have my furniture. Their people really don't seem to care that they've essentially stolen thousands of dollars from me. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY AGAIN. they have the worst customer servic. Their people take no pride in their work, and lack complete decency.

I was so excited to receive my bedroom set... which I spent a lot of money on. Upon arrival one of the main pieces broke. They said that they will order me a new one. Okay I understand accidents happen! Then after they left and assembled everything I noticed this on one of the drawers of the dresser. It looks like the piece broke off and someone tried to glue it back together. This is extremely upsetting to me that someone at the company would let a customer receive an item like this. This is very dishonest and sneaky in my opinion... acting like I would not notice that. I will never be purchasing from Ashley furniture ever again. Extremely disappointed.Update: they offered me 5% off...... ridiculous. Do not purchase from this company. It is awful. Beware.

We've waited for our furniture since over a month. When the delivery men started unloading the truck today, they've realized a part was missing, so it didn't even make to our apartment and was taken back right from the street. No one called us to provide updates after they've left. I had to contact them by myself. I will spread the word to everyone: never ever do business with Ashley Furniture. They really don't care about customers.

I purchased patio furniture from Ashley as well as the protection plan. I was sold weak faulty cushions and they are all ripped up. I contacted GBS, the protection company and they told it was not covered even thought it clearly states that accidents, rips and stains are all covered! It’s so disappointing to purchase “nice” furniture set and I’m sold absolute garbage. It is an absolute SCAM! Save your money and purchase your indoor and outdoor furniture else where. I will absolutely never shop here again And I truly hope no one else does either!

very poor service, very disappointed by the response either from the store or from the customer support. I order a king size bed and it was supposed to be delivered in 3 weeks time frame. When i enquired about the order after 3 weeks, they mentioned that someone will call back for sure. When i consistently followed up than i was asked to call the store from where the furniture is purchased. when i called the store the sales people tells that the order is already delivered. Now after 6 weeks of continuous chasing and continuous calling still no one knows where the order is - in the system it is delivered. After 3 consecutive days of calling the store, i am still not able to talk to the customer service person Monika. the person is only available between 10am to 5pm and when i call before 5 pm the person has left, when i called after 10am, the customer person is in some other meeting. So, i am only talking to sales person who has no interest given the order is already sold and all the money is already given. Extremely poor service, if you have time and patience and want to forgot about your item once you have placed the order, so go to Ashley. Also, the sales person mentioned that since last 10 days no one has called because the customer person is very busy. This review is of the experience in Ashley Naperville store.

We placed an order for a sofa set and a dining table set before a month and we have not received anything yet, when we visited the staff promised us everything will be delivered in 15 days and now they are saying that we will be receiving everything in another months time, very disappointing

I brought my mother and sisters to this store and was instantly greeted by Cesar at the door. From start to finish, he remained patient and displayed his exemplary knowledge of each item. After hours of deliberation, we finally made a decision and Cesar walked us through the purchasing, delivery and warranty processes. I recommend this location and its manager Cesar for your future furniture purchases.

UPDATE 09/21/22: I should have canceled it the first time they canceled my delivery. They scheduled delivery for 09/07/22. Then pushed it for 09/14, then 09/27. Just checked a few minutes ago to confirm and well, now it’s scheduled for the week of 10/03. Representative said they’re still waiting to receive our furniture. However, I was told weeks ago that it’s been at the warehouse and they were just waiting on one item, which is a bench. We can wait on that. I was asked if partial delivery was okay and we said yes. Stop wasting your time, money, and energy. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY! Save yourself a headache and stress. I wish I would have read the reviews before going in the store. They make it difficult for you to cancel an order as well. Went to Macy’s and we got our media console less than one week. Customer service called to schedule delivery. I called them back to schedule it for 09/07. The representative I spoke to asked if we would mind a partial delivery (Bridget asked me via-text just a few days before as well) and I said, we wouldn't mind partial delivery because we need our furniture. Here's what we ordered: Sofa: ready for delivery on 09/07 Dresser: ready for delivery on 09/07 Dining table: ready for delivery on 09/07 Bench: estimated delivery 09/14 I took the day off to stay home and wait for our delivery. I called customer service to check the status and they said we were no longer on their schedule. They didn't even care to contact us to let us know. We paid extra fees for delivery so this very upsetting. Now they said the estimated delivery is on the week of 09/23. This is very stressful. Buy furniture elsewhere and be happy.

This is no reflection of staff at store. I called yesterday to speak with sales to see if an item was on display. I got a call center instead not at the Naperville location. Website says the item was in store. (Rosewood Accent cabinet). Went to store today to see cabinet. Sales says they don’t have one. The phones have been erratic for 3 weeks. Obviously not to concerned that 2 great sources of communication and of sales are screwed up. Get your act together Ashley of Naperville. I went to Darvin in Orland and found what I liked after calling and verifying they had it after seeing on their website stating it was at store

Bad experience, they offered me a 5-year guarantee, when I went to pick up my living room set it was defective and they told me that it had no guarantee and that they couldn't do anything. I lost money renting the truck.

This has been a nightmare experience. I don’t think it’s store specific, I think that this entire company does an awful job training their employees. I have been trying to set up delivery for a part I ordered and no one has been able to assist me. The third party warranty is useless. Do yourself a favor a just pay the extra money instead of buying this garbage furniture with garbage customer service.

My mom and I bought a living room set from this store and with in a year springs in the couch, chair and love seat have broken. We bought the 5 year warranty and when we call to have them fix the furniture they tell us there is nothing they will do we have to pay someone else out of pocket to fix it. Definitely a shady company for doing this to people. Just cheating people out of money on a warranty that covers nothing.

If there was 0 rating, that's what I would rate this company. Their customer service is terrible and most of their workers don't know what they are doing. We had ordered twin beds for our girls in May, this is August 30th and we still haven't had the bed fully installed properly. First, I had to be on them to have the beds delivered, then I had to call several times to get the beds installed, then they had delivered the wrong slab. The delivery team delivered a wrong color and then re-selection process was so complex. Now basically I am stuck with the wrong color and now have to the store again for selecting the right one.

We made a big purchase working with John Beem and all I can say is that it was a pleasure working with him! We made our choices, we took our time, and he was super helpful, friendly, patient and professional! His manager, Wally, also stepped in and they gave us the best deals! Very disappointed to be writing this review today. My fiancé and I recently bought a dining set along with some patio chairs from the Naperville location. Admittedly, the shopping and sales process was rather smooth, Sandra helped us and wasn't over-bearing as some furniture sales reps can be. We were told delivery for our dining set would be August 6th - which we were very happy about considering we were moving into our into our first home on the 5th. I received no notification of a delivery window in the days leading up to the 6th, so I called Ashley's customer service line to get an update on the order on 8/5. I was then told the order was delayed by one week and the new estimated delivery date would be the 13th. Look, I like to think I'm a reasonable guy, and had notification been made prior to me calling I wouldn't have been nearly as frustrated - but why do I need to sit on hold for an hour at the expense of my personal time to find out something that should be proactively communicated in the first place? I called back again around 8/10 to confirm that we would receive the order on 8/13 as we were told, only to be advised that 8/13 was now looking more like 8/23. Again, frustrated that I have to spend my time to find this out but it's 2022, delays happen right? I called again today, now the first week of September is what "customer service" is telling me. At this rate, each time I have called, it gets pushed back by at least 1 week. Each time i have had to call to find the updated timeframes, i have received not one piece of proactive communication from Ashley. It is starting to seem like my fiancé and I were lied to by the salesperson just so they could make the sale and get the commission, knowing full well no one intended to deliver our table on 8/6 and just leaving us to deal w/ customer service on the back end. We went with Ashley financing here and had full intentions of furnishing the rest of our new home from Ashley but at this point....? If you're going to shop here, I'd suggest planning on adding a couple months to their "estimated" delivery for good measure, but my better piece of advice is shop somewhere else.

I have order a bed , dining table with 4 chairs in April 2022. The dining table has been attempted for delivery 3 times and everytime the delivery folks come in and realize some parts are missing , it has been 5 months and still don't have the dining table delivered. None of the customer service calls are helping in solving this situation. I must say poor customer service

Keep the customer informed of their order. My bed was delivered last week the rails had serious manufacturing defect. Delivery person said he will reorder them. No call, no update. I called store several times, on hold over 30 minutes . Will never go back to Ashley furniture again

After spending all my time and money to purchase the furniture at Ashley on Jun 17, 2022 and patiently waiting until Aug 8 for delivery, I discovered on my own follow up with the customer service that no shipment is scheduled for delivery. It was so frustrating - the Ashley team didn’t even bother to inform me about the delayed shipment until I called. So un professional that I will never visit any Ashley store in my life and share my experience with as many of my contacts as I can

After we placed the order they continue to call me and delayed the delivery dates for one or other items. They split my delivery and even then on the delivery day for one of the items (that was delayed too) they just simply didn’t show up. Calling on their help line is useless, they always say you can discuss with sales for your concern. Sales will say, we don’t have control on delivery. They show you the moon while selling the stuff only to blame it all on delivery, supply chain, and availability.

Worst experience of my life. [Update]: Ashley customer service replied to this message. I reached out to them. No one responded. We bought a bed and nightstand exactly a year ago. We were told they ship in 60-90 days due to supply chain constraints. After a year we went to the store to cancel the order. But somehow store manager told our furniture is ready to deliver in 2 weeks. But on the day of the delivery they left a voicemail saying delivery is cancelled because it was back ordered. We bought the bed on ~40% off and Ashley significantly increased original pricing of the furniture we ordered. I am not sure if they are delivering the furniture to the people who paid more or they are just taking money from the customer knowing they can’t deliver. I am cancelling my order today and will never go to Ashley again.

I was calling customer service to ask for a part that was damaged by the delivery team . And I was “being helped “ by the worst customer service person ever . I asked to have a call from a manager will see if what happen .

We had a great experience! Marc Nelson was amazing to work with. He helped us tremendously throughout the entire process from order to delivery. Only hiccup was delayed delivery, which I feel is typical nowadays and Marc did let us know this is possible. I had been to the store and decided on the sofa that I wanted. My sales person had given me her personal phone number, so I called her after I had gone home and measured. I left a message and didn't receive a call back that day. That evening I called the store and completed the purchase in order to receive the sale price. I am anxious to receive my sofa, as it has had mixed reviews. Delivery is still 10 days away. So far the transaction has been smooth.

They brought the wrong dresser.

The sales person was very helpful. He found an item that would satisfy my needs and it was affordable for me to purchase. If I need anything in the future, I’ll be sure to come back to Ashley’s.

I used to love Ashley store and their furniture. In January I bought bedroom set, kitchen table with chairs, couch and love seat. Promised delivery March, then changed..when delivered boys scratched the couches, table and chairs. Then you through complaining. Never got their attention til we disputed. Even after that they came to fix offered chairs and table in the worst condition than one originally brought. For couches they never showed up to do the touch up. Think 5 times before buying here.

Terrible service!!! Stay miles away!!! Or prepared to be bombarded with delayed unkept promise!!! By mistake I placed an order for living room set on 05/21/22. I was promised that a part of order will be delivered on promised date. I had to take off and wait for the furniture to arrive. When I called Cesar Rosa of AHS Naperville, only then he remembered about my order!!! He was some how about deliver it next day. To make it more worse the remaining order was assured to be delivered on 21st June. I took off again from work. Nothing happend!! No calls or text messages from AHS!!! I had to call again to find out what is happening. They said as always sorry and assured me it will be delivered on 28th June. Again I had to take off from work and waited. Nothing happened. When I called AHS, I was told it is ready for delivery via automated system. However, when I called customer care, I was told the delivery 'might' take place on 6th July!!! Terrible service!!! I feel humiliated!!!This is going to be my first and last purchase ever from AHS!!!

Cesar at the Naperville IL location was an amazing help. Not only was he informative, but he was kind and personable. UPDATE: After 3 months of waiting for our couch after being promised shipment a week after purchase, no one reaching out to us but having to call weekly to get told the shipment is pushed back a week, and the associates being dodgy, we finally received the couch. The couch is fantastic but unfortunately the experience and communication was not and we will be taking our business elsewhere in the future.

Horrible my delivery came broken, fire place had inside wall paper falling , cabinet doors falling off. They left TV stand until they can get a new one. Beautiful, easy-to-navigate store with a great selection of classy furniture, that doesn't feel cheaply-made or cost a fortune. We came in on 5/10/22 and were helped by the amazing Scooby. He told us about their sales, gave us ample time & space to shop (unlike some other furniture stores where they follow you around and try to pressure you), and then checked us out—making sure we got the best deals they were currently offering. The store is extremely well-lit, with massive windows surrounding the entire building, making it easy to see all the pieces and colors. I will absolutely be coming back here for my future furniture needs, and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

2 views in 2 years? Stop censoring your reviews I previously wrote a review, and just noticed it had three views compared to hundreds or thousands of use on the other reviews I written. So it seems they are screening reviews. I also reviewed a piece of furniture online and they did not post the review. If that doesn’t tell you enough about the company and their ethics (stay away!) then read on. One of the slides on my dresser broke and the finish was cracking. I had purchased the extended warranty and tried to file a claim. They had me jumping through hoops filing multiple claims with multiple companies, one that didn’t even service Illinois where I live. After talking to probably 20 different people over four months they said that the extended warranty that they sold me, did not cover my dresser. Months later they finally agreed to send me a refund for the remainder of the warranty, and that check bounced. Thanks for the $19 fee on top of the dishonestly! There are hundreds of other details about this story and why you should not go to Ashley furniture, but you probably wouldn’t even believe it if I wrote it all out. 36 emails back-and-forth and no one could help me. To top it all off, we did order one additional piece to complete our set and that arrived damaged! Stay away! There is literally a Facebook group with 300,000 people who have tried to get customer service to help them and they wouldn’t. Now let’s see if they remove this review like my other one.

Purchased a bedroom set, upon delivery the drawers would not properly close. Called customer service and was told they would ship out parts, then a tech. 10-15 days. After 2 months was told within a month. After 3 months they could not find the order and would not accept a return. Junk company.

I purchased a bedroom suit in June of 2021 and still haven’t received my bed. I was told the rails are on back order and they have not come in as of yet. I have gone into the store I purchased the set from and each time they say, we will check on it and someone will call you tomorrow! On each instance, my concerns went unanswered and there was no return phone call. I would not recommend the Ashley store located at 1584 IL-59 N, Naperville IL 60564. I’m still waiting on my bed and once I get it I will NEVER shop at Ashley furniture again!!!! Update… my bed finally was delivered on July 12, 2022. The hooks on one of the rails was bent, but the installer fixed it and assembled my bed, however screws to attach the bed slats were missing, so someone from the warehouse will be delivering them within the next 24 hrs. After the installation I noticed the foot board was cracked and now I have to schedule an appointment to switch the piece out. As I previously stated, I will NEVER shop at Ashley Furniture again!

Nice selection at this store, but it's all about the sales and not the service. I ordered a bedroom set that wasn't due to arrive for a few months. The following day I found out I was having visitors and could no longer wait for stock to come in. I call Sandra, my sales rep and explained I needed to cancel the order I just placed, and received an unfriendly response it would be cancelled. Three weeks later, still no credit on my card. I visited the store to request the refund to my card. The manager was unapologetic and questioned why I was cancelling after I told him the situation. He told me it would take 3-7 days for the refund - really? It took less than 24 hrs to charge me. I won't be shopping there in the future.

Updating my review to 5 star - went in the store and talked with two very nice front desk personnel who helped me and my husband regarding some of our concerns on delivery dates. They were kind and truly a blessing. We will now be getting our furniture next week. It is important to me to acknowledge the work that they did for us. If you are having issues with your order, please go in the store and consult them for potential solution. I promise you they will help you!

I purchased a coffee table and four chairs in February 2/28/22. My table was delivered and it was delivered damaged and when I called to request a exchange of the table I was told I had to keep it damaged. After several calls I finally received a new table. Fast forward to 4/21/22, I called to get an update on the 4 accent chairs and was told I might receive them in July way past the 16 weeks I was told so I requested a refund and cancel my order. I was told in one to two business days I would get from the appeals department and it is now the third business day and I have not received a phone call. I did receive and email within a couple of hours stating my refund would be. I have tried calling to check on my refund status and the phone ring twice and I get disconnected. So not only wont they delivered a product I ordered they wont refund my money. Next step is reporting to the BBB. Never again will I do business with this horrible company.

Similar to experiences many had with furniture stores during the pandemic, we had challenges after we purchased a substantial amount of furniture at Ashley’s in 2020, which was eventually delivered in batches over the next 9 to 12 months. Aside from simply delays in delivery, there was a lot of miscommunication, waisted time in the phone, and unhonored promises by customer service team, to go along with multiple pieces of furniture that would eventually need to be replaced/exchanged. Although we experienced a lot of difficulties, we have purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley’s over the years and usually have not been disappointed, so I returned to their Naperville store with hopes of a better experience. I worked with John C and he did an exceptional job of taking care of me, listening to my concerns, and ultimately making things right. I left the store after purchasing a desk and I am confident that I will return to the store in the near future as we look to update our living room. Thanks John for your assistance.

Initially a great experience in the store. We "loved" our couches so much we waited 3 months to get them.. Was sold the extra warranty because it would "cover any issues we might have and if not used we were guaranteed to get the money back". From the second we got the couches we had issues. The cushion covers were all fraying near the seams. Called the store and got the run around but eventually was able to get new cushions. Fast forward a couple months later we had issues again with the cushions fraying. Called again to complain and got the run around with customer service again and finally after a few calls of being told different stuff got new covers. And sure enough. ..it happened again. But now our couches were no longer being made--- "Surprise surprise" and were discontinued. Spoke to the company and once again got the run around. It's like they tried to get me to stop calling by giving me all different answers. Could not get people to help me out despite being told that the couches were discontinued and we could pick out new ones. Then we ended up moving but I continued to try to get them to keep their word and replace our couches. Now their excuse is it can't be done because we moved. Since then the feet of our couch broke and the wood frame on one of them broke also. I have continued to call the Naperville store with no help and keep getting the run around from their "customer service" who tells you something different every single time. And their resolution after everything was that they were going "to do nothing". I have continued to call for the past 4 months trying to get help. Spoke with manager who said I need to stop calling there and need to deal with their customer service only. Well, I want you guys to keep your word. These couches clearly had manufacturing issues-- we were told we would get replacements---if you can't coordinate that with our local Ashleys then we should be given a refund-- oh and on a side note that extra warranty that we were sold did nothing for any of our issues. Nothing. A complete waste of money. Where is my refund for that? Please stop wasting my time --keep your word --and refund or replace our couches. We have 2 Ashley stores nearby. Please help.

At the Naperville location, once they found out I was there to choose another couch because the one I had wanted previous didn't fit into my building, not one other person who worked there even asked me if I needed any help. No one spoke to me, no one came up to me to help me.

Very disappointed with their customer service. We bought a sectional 11/20 and after several times of changing their delivery date, we finally received our couch on 3/24/21. I noticed while vacuuming under the cushions, that the zipper on our cushion case was broken. We bought the protection plan and they do not cover broken zippers. They recommended I call Ashley. Called the Ashley store in Naperville, IL and because we are 11 days past a year, they will not replace the cushion case. After we waited several months past when they said they would deliver, they couldn’t honor just a little over a week? Poor customer service.

We purchased furniture at this store two years ago (2020) along with a protection plan that was supposed to cover everything from Stains and hardware to frame damage. Now that we needed to submit a claim on the furniture we purchased, we get stonewalled and continuously get the run around from store managers. The store tells us to call Ashley customer service, CS tells us to go to the store, the store flips and says we need to contact the warranty company. All in all, poor customer service experience and don’t recommend buying furniture here.

I had a sofa and loveseat delivered. The delivery team was very rude especially the shorter guy. He must've been having a bad day but he didn't like nothing I had to say. I have to say customer service stinks. Delivery team stinks. The only person I really appreciate it Ashley was my salesman Marcus. But then again to instead of saying two months waiting for delivery time it was actually 3 1/2 months. The sales people and Ashley should express that instead of misguiding the public.. Again I hate that delivery team and customer service. Customer service last time told me they had my schedule delivery in but they did not I had to call my salesman and he Scheduled it. I hope management reads this and does something about delivery customer service skills and better customer service skills on the phone.

The shopping experience was good, found what we were looking for but everything went downhill once it came to delivery. To begin, the delivery was 4 hours late and they showed up with the wrong furniture. We refused the delivery and were told to contact customer service and work the issue out with them. It’s practically impossible to get through to customer service. I keep receiving text messages to schedule my delivery with no confirmation if the correct items will show up. I tried to get help from the store but the sales reps and store mgmt said they can’t help in any way. Per the store, “my only option is to resolve this with customer service.” I even asked to cancel my order and the store said “only customer service can do that.” I just don’t understand how an organization can operate like this and continue to stay in business. At this point in time I’ll be contacting my credit card company, filing a fraud complaint and have them cancel the order. I should’ve read all the reviews before walking in and getting trapped. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY HOME STORES!

Came in just to take a looksy and I started trying the beds with my wife. The sleep expert suggested us we try some beds and they were life changing. I appreciated the excellent service and honesty of the staff. Anyway I'm a new bed owner now.

Frank is one of the best sales associates I ever worked with! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but he is also so kind and truly cares about his clients! We don’t live in the area and stopped at this store just to look around, but after working with Frank on our living room furniture purchase, I will definitely make the drive back to this store when furnishing other rooms in our home.

After purchase was subscribed to their advertising emails. I unsubscribed multiple times and continue to receive. This is illegal or manipulation of laws through use different domains and still wrong. The company is manipulative. I won't buy furniture from here again.

I had a really great experience at the Naperville location. Particularly due to Malika, she was amazing! She greeted us within a minute of being at the store and 100% read the vibe, did not crowd space but made sure she was available to answer any questions and that we knew about the current promotion going on. She was patient and helped provide necessary insight to each couch and mattress I looked at. She didn't try to push anything or entice me to spend outside of my budget. This was my first furniture purchase from Ashley specifically, but I'd go back in a heartbeat and work with Malika again (and mostly likely will later this year because I have my eye on a chair + ottoman to match my couch). Definitely recommend looking for your pieces here!

Purchased Great Room furniture and found the ideal pieces that we wanted. Our sales lady Lana was amazing ! She was there to help us but also gave us space to shop with out hounding us. She was energetic but also down to earth! Lana helped us so much and exsplained how we could rearrange the couch and how we had options! Lana was very helpful and honest is about the delivery time . I'm so glad she helped us to realize we did need the warranty and wasn't to pushy with it ! She was the type of sales person I would love to have every time . Was greeted right away by Frank Alonso and told him I was interested in a loveseat. He asked if I wanted him to show me loveseats or look on my own. I told him I would look on my own. I found the Dorsten sofa chaise and he told me the chaise part could be switched to the left or right side.Purchasing was a quick and easy process. I can’t wait for delivery day!

We had a great experience and found a couch we love. Malika (our sales associate) really connected with us and helped us out so much! We are about to get married and this is our first large purchase together and she really set us at ease.

We went in having an idea of what we wanted and was greeted by a extremely polite women. We explained what we were looking for and Melissa went above and beyond with answering our questions and providing us with a extremely helpful information about their products, insurance and warranty policies and how the products work. She made us feel very welcomed and never made us feel like she was trying to up-sell. After we had made our choice Melissa again went above and beyond with showing us other products for possible future purchases. And demonstrated a product that I was curious about. We visited Ashley this morning to purchase a new bed frame and mattress. We had the pleasure of working with Marc, and he was great. When we entered the store he greeted us with kindness, introduced himself, and let us explore without being overbearing. We were able to walk the entire showroom on our own, seeing and feeling out what fits our style best without any added pressure from Marc. He was always in site if we had questions but never too close to keep us from enjoying our shopping experience.

Wouldn’t recommend buying from here as once I purchased, I have been trying to call the store since 4 days at different times of day and literally no one would ever pick your call!! Worst service. The least they have to do is answer the phone. Have tried calling atleast 10 times per day at different times but no luck.

Found furniture for frontroom and kitchen, unfortunately was there for almost 2 hours and not one employee asked if we needed help. I even purposely walked and stood where they were all sitting at dining room tables...nothing. Finally asked a young lady if someone could help me, she said she could. Told her what happened at 2 of the other Ashley stores, and well needless to say started getting the information on the dining room furniture and she also makes a rude comment about my disability. Really didn't like it, said Really! I'm done and walked away from her, asked another sales lady for a manager, she giggled and I was just standing there starring at her. Sje said Oh you joking right? I looked at her and said, No I'm quite serious I would like a manager. She finally got one. The lady manager apologized for the employee and wanted to just brush it off it seemed. I asked why no one greeted us? I was asked what door did you come in? I said the front of the store after all that's where the handicapped parking is. She said no one faces that door, they face the side entrance. I said why? Handicapped people buy furniture too. You have more than one entance employee's should be looking at all entrances no just sitting at tables talking with other associates or whatever. Manager wanted to sell me the 2 rooms of furniture, I declined. No because I didn't have the cash, cause I did but she herself insulted me without even thinking about it. I will not do business with Ashley any longer. To many of their stores within a 2 week period made really bad choices by laughing at my disability and commenting on it rudely. I do not support anyone or any business who thinks it's okay to make fun of another person, disability or not! Just bad service.

Horrendous customer service. We have been buying furniture here for years but not anymore. 1 damaged delivery, the next one missing parts and nobody in this company wants to help.

My husband and I had such a great experience shopping at Ashley, especially after looking at other stores in the area. Malika was just amazing. She was so helpful, kind, patient, and understanding when we were working through our decision. She really went above and beyond to help us. We will be back to make more purchases here, and we only want to work with her! We were happy with the selection, quality, and price at Ashley. Also, we only had to wait two weeks for delivery!

Purchased a sectional and an oversized ottoman on 07/31/2021, Salesperson Frank Alonso helped us and gave an estimated timeframe of 12-16 weeks. We were fine with this. November checked in on the order, was advised still back ordered due to supply chain issues and customer service rep provided December 18th as the day the order will be stocked up in warehouse. Checked in early December via emails with Frank, was advised part of sectional available and remaining pieces will be in stock in the next few weeks. Dec 18th, no call or message received. Called in to check up, customer rep stated all parts of sectional in stock and waiting on ottoman. Everything could be shipped out in the first 2 weeks of January. Understanding the holiday time and all, I waited patiently. January 9th, after no response called and emailed, was provided an update stating ottoman is still pending. Constantly being given the same response, I wanted to escalate the issue with customer service. They pacified and scheduled me for 01/21/2022. I requested a confirmation or a reference for this, was provided none. The Customer Rep stated delivery will call in 1-2 days prior to day of delivery. Received none. Emailed Frank, received a response this morning now stating that part of sectional is back ordered and won’t be available until month end. This is just ridiculous and an endless cycle of waiting. It has already been 24+ weeks since I placed an order. Just false promises and no transparency.

As soon as we walked in, we were not bombarded with sales people like a car dealership. Anthony was who helped us, and he was extremely easy to talk to and informative. He showed us exactly what we needed! Will definitely ask for Anthony next time we return.

They have a great selection, but I don't understand why they make promises they can't keep. Why have a selection that you can't fulfill? I bought a king bed in August and was given a shipping date of September. In September, my shipping date changed to January because ONE part couldn't be made until then. This month (December), I called to double check the delivery date because the money was already taken from my account, I'd been quite patient, and I liked what I bought. I was told at least another 2-3 months. WHY? I asked for compensation in return and they said we can offer you $24 or up to $50. Lol what? I said I'd rather have you do free assembly for me and they said can't do that. Ended up cancelling the order altogether. Waste of 6 months. The customer service rep won't even guarantee it's a full refund (it better be) until the refund department calls me after 48 hours. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a full refund... This isn't the first time I've had to wait so long for something I ordered. It's been happening since the pandemic began. Hey, if you can't fulfill an order, don't take my money and promise me it'll be fulfilled.

Visited this location after countless other furniture stores and were immediately greeted by a huge, clean showroom and super helpful (but not pushy) staff…thanks Scooby! We had been striking out so many times and couldn’t find the style we were looking for but found several contenders right away. The selection was far better than the other stores we visited and the prices were super competitive. We didn’t think we’d find anything, so we were pleasantly surprised when we did. We can’t wait to use our sectional! I would highly recommend the Naperville location to other furniture shoppers.

Had some friends tell me that they’d had issues with Ashley but figured I’d try them because they’re close. Ordered in October with 8-12 week lead time.. received end of March, which I could look past if the products weren’t damaged when I got them. I waited 6 months for the replacements, which also arrived damaged. They offered 10% discount which is laughable. I now have to wait for an unknown eta for new ones, which who knows if/when they’ll arrive. This company is a scam, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Side note - your BS “replies” to these reviews mean nothing.

Very unpleasant experience. I have yet to receive a refund. Yusuf greeted us and was available every step of the way. He made selection easier and the purchase a breeze. We’ve been buying our furnitures with Ashley for quite sometime now. We’ve been in the stores located at Romeoville, Joliet and most recently in Naperville. Frank (from Naperville) was able to help us find what we want. He even remembered us when we came back and once again took care of us. Thanks.

We had bought some furniture’s in Ashley store on IL Rt 59, Naperville, on start of Sep 2021, we were concerned about the delivery date and asked the salesperson Lealand Anderson multiple times, and he said we would get the furniture by 6 weeks from date of purchase or at the latest from 8 to 12 weeks. We waited the entire max duration of 12 weeks and still the furniture have not arrived as of Dec 2021. We had called customers service multiple times and went to the store multiple times during this period, but there had been no proper response. Every time we ask, they keep postponing the delivery date by telling they will deliver by 4 weeks and none of them even cared to put the notes in the system that we had followed up. Finally in Dec 2021 the store on duty manager Rose Sulima only did make the notes and she also admitted that that there were no previous notes regarding the enquiry. She even said that the sales person who sold the furniture’s to us was aware that the delivery was in Jan 2022 when we purchased in Sept 2021 but was not communicated rather, they promised will be delivered in 8 to 12 weeks. Initially when I talked, Rose Sulima said the dining table was available and will be delivered in Dec, but while talking with her in 15 min she said the dinning table is not available till Jan 2022. Its quite weird how a furniture that was available 15 min before could become unavailable after 15 min. Finally, Rose sent an email to supply chain Dept. on Thursday asking on the status and she promised to call and give me an update by Monday. And even after four days there had been no call, so I went back to enquire at the store, and she said she still hasn’t received any response from the supply chain department. This is ridiculous when they say they can’t even get a reply in four days for an email. Once the sales are done, they are very reckless they say they don’t get reply for emails for a week. After paying the money we must follow up with them every time. They don’t even care to respond and even when they respond they say it will be another 8 to 10 weeks every time. Totally reckless, why do I have to give the money and be at the back of them. Isn’t it them who have to treat the customers with good respect? We haven’t experienced this kind of customer service anywhere… We are very annoyed when they said the delivery date now will be Feb 2022 which still, they can’t guarantee.

I have waited months for my furniture. I had a scheduled delivery date of Wed 11/24 between 9-12pm. I took the day off to be here. At 8:22 I received a text saying they will be here in 10minutes. I was so excited that it would be done nice and early. No one showed up. At 11:45, I called and the call is so choppy, you can’t even hardly hear the person. They assured me that someone would be here by 345pm. I asked them to have someone text me to with confirmation of that. NOTHING!!! At 645 pm I called again and they assured me that the guy was in my town and we were the next stop. Guess what? NOTHING!! Skip Thursday for Thanksgiving. Friday morning, I wait a few hours to hear from them. NOTHING!! I call them again! They tell me oh yes they are coming today. It’s 630pm and NOTHING. I have wasted 20 minutes x 4 to get, straight lied to, over and over!! Never again will I order from Ashley Furniture!!

Ordered a bunch of different furniture from this store the first week of August and was told my dining room furniture would arrive towards the end of October and my couch + coffee table would arrive this week. The last time I called I found out the dining room set was pushed back to mid-November and I specifically asked if there was any chance the items would get pushed back again due to the supply chain constraints that I know are occurring everywhere. I was assured that my dining room set and couch/coffee table would all arrive in mid-November and there were no concerns of delay again. Just got off the phone with them and now they're telling me my furniture won't arrive until the second week of January. I understand there are issues like this occurring at all retailers, but why lie and promise me my items would arrive on time if that wasn't true? Terrible customer service and now I wasted almost 4 months waiting on furniture that won't arrive for another 2 months - all while trying to get settled into a new build. So we have been completely furniture-less for all 4 months we've been waiting.

Great selections! I got a very impressive living room sofa and loveseat and I love it! Special delivery is superb! Why only 4 star?-customer service too pushy. I specifically said I needed a set for small space LR and I kept repeating we are little people but he got me into buying large set. On my way home, I realized I was being tricked. So I called same afternoon to cancel the order but that’s when I realized that there’s an unexplained10% fee for cancellation. Same salesman insisted that he will deliver 2 loveseats then. See how pushy he is? He just wanted to sell not thinking how 2 big loveseats look tacky in a small LR. To make him happy, I gave in again into getting a replacement set which is now the right size and a better product which made me think why he did not offer it in the first place. Anyways, I’m happy for this. But again there’s something in him, he texted me for a tip. Do I need to feel guilty for making him worked hard?

Very impressed with the overall store layout, furniture designs, and aesthetic appeal of the display items. We had the assistance of Lana, who was terrific with recommendations and design assistance. She is a most effective sales person with great personality and strong sales acumen. We were somewhat leary about Ashley, as years ago we were told the quality was suspect. Lana dismissed that notion very effectively. I give both your store and Lana the highest marks.

Scooby was super helpful and was no nonsense dealing with us so we appreciated knowing exactly what were going for. The couch we purchased was mostly in stock and was at a lower price than we found elsewhere. Overall we did not feel pressured or rushed during our purchase and Scooby answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond sharing his expertise as a sleep expert that was helpful in our unrelated research for a mattress. Based on the service I received from Scooby I am definitely going back to Ashley's for any future furniture purchases.

I am updating my review. I have been waiting on my furniture since 12/2021. Almost a year. My furniture has been delayed and nobody has an answer for anything. Customer service says to call the store, the store says to call customer service. Furniture was supposed to be delivered today, and guess what? Customer service says they don't know what happened. Excuses kept pouring in. From it never left the warehouse, to its on the truck, to they accidentally skipped your house. I've been patient, I've been understanding. I understand that covid has delayed things. The manager at the store straight out admitted that the ball was dropped on our order. Now I can't even reach the store due to their phones not working. Please, save your time and money and spend it elsewhere.

Great store, Lana was very helpful. We really liked their dinning table collection. Overall we had an excellent shopping experience!

New to the furniture buying game as a young home owner. Shopped for a while and was never thrilled with how expensive good quality furniture was. Avoided Ashley home furniture because I thought it would be more of the same expensive furniture. Walked in, very nice and presentable. Was not instantly questioned by an over eager salesperson. After looking around for a few minutes Jared approached us and asked what we were looking for and how he could help, he was very relatable and friendly. Told Jared what we were looking for and he pointed us in the right direction. We narrowed down to a few that we liked and met our needs and Jared told us some differences and benefits of the pieces. Ended up purchasing and overall had a great experience and very happy with the final total for the purchase.

Great customer service from Lana she is awesome very helpful , ASHLEY Furniture has a great selection on beautiful furniture I recommend you go there first if you’re looking for furniture you won’t want to go any where else!

Our salesman was Scooby and he was amazing!! He was very knowledgeable and personable throughout our whole experience. He knew we needed furniture for our new home and worked with us so we could afford all the pieces we needed. We are very happy with the furniture we purchased and couldn’t be more excited for it to come in.

I was told that the order will take four weeks to be here. Six weeks later not even a call to say that the order is delayed or anything. Everything in the store is peachy but once they sell you a piece of furniture you are on your own. I called customer service and the representative told me its going to be another 2-4weeks . I have no idea why they promise you dates that they cannot fulfill. DISAPPOINTED!!!

I came to Ashley homestore in Naperville 10/05/21 a day before my birthday I was hoping my purchase would arrive before my birthday 😞. But never the less Frank Alonso made the shopping experience hassle free unlike others🤔 their. He even measure for accurate fix to size of my bedroom by floor plan layout. Never the less I will be making another purchase for my kitchen counter top stools that depends how fast bedroom pieces come soon. Ashley furniture is so classy and well put together thanks again "Frank".

Was looking for a bed and mattress for a guest bedroom.The sales person who helped me listened to my needs.He recommended several options in my price range and did not try to talk me into pricier items.I was very satisfied with my shopping experience.

This store has great collection, especially the living room and dining furniture is good and diverse. The staff is good. They can do a better job at customer service and have a transparency on the actual delivery dates of the items, rather than keeping the customer waiting on false dates .

At salesman was very knowledgeable and found us the best sofa and loveseat. I can’t wait to get it.

I highly recommend avoiding this store and especially "Scooby" if you plan to use them. They have horrible customer service and the sales rep is completely unresponsive when there's an issue. Avoid this company at all costs.

The service and people that work there are really positive and nice. Really detailed. Definitely will be coming here more often.

I saw the same options they show online but it pays to have the prices with you and the credit line approved before you go to get the best prices. They quote quite a bit higher in person.

High priced and pushy salesman

My fiancé and I bought a bunch of furniture in June. Scooby, the sales manager knew the sectional that we selected was going in our basement. We even showed him pictures of the basement and the vision that we had. He said, this would fit, no problem. We just received our couch, which we knew would take some time because everything was on back order. When the delivery guys came, they looked at the basement stairs and said, this couch wouldn’t fit. We were confused as to why it wouldn’t make it down the stairs. They then said, it would fit in the family room, so we decided after waiting 4 months for this day to come that we would put it in our family room. They placed it in the family room and it didn’t fit correctly and they said, they can’t take it back. I immediately called customer service and spoke to a representatives and explained the situation. They said, I had two options, I can get a refund or reselect a new couch. They even noted it in their system. We then went to the store and explained our situation to them. The sales lady we were dealing with asked us to show her the couch we purchased on the floor and she said she would have never sold this couch to someone that wanted to put it in their basement. She said, It would never fit! WE HAD A TEMP STORE MANAGER (SCOOBY) TELL US THIS COUCH WOULD FIT KNOWING IT WOULD GO INTO OUR BASEMENT. WE’VE WAITED 4 MONTHS TO FIND OUT THAT A MANAGER SOLD US SOMETHING THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIT. We called customer service again while in the store and the gentleman said, there are no refunds!!! I then asked to speak to the customer service supervisor and he also told me they don’t do refunds!! If we wanted to do a reselect, we would have to wait until the new couch came in for them to take the old couch back out of our home, which potentially could take MONTHS!!! We now have to wait 24-48 hours for the supervisor to review the recorded phone calls to make sure the rep said refunds. Even though it’s in the notes. Ashley furniture doesn’t put their customers first!! I’ve never dealt with such horrible customer service!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO HAVE SCOOBY AS YOUR SALESMAN. WE EVEN REACHED OUT TO HIM ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND NO RESPONSE. IT STARTED WITH HIM AND WE CAN’T EVEN GET A RESPONDS BACK FROM HIM. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else!!

Fast and great customer service.

Horrible experience! I received damaged furniture full of dents and scratches! Don’t shop here .. horrible customer service. .. they sent a guy to repair new furniture.. what a joke! First and last time shopping here! Plus very delayed delivery ! 2 months after the date they promised! Save the hassle and hard time! Read all the horrible reviews before you put your money here !

Our sales associate Jared at the Naperville location was outstanding! He was super-attentive and answered all questions I had. He went over all payment options in great detail and was so patient and gave me space and time to make my decision. Great furniture at reasonable prices plus they are not backordered like other places I have visited!! I highly recommend this store, you will not be disappointed. Great experience and looking forward to receive my furniture!

Scooby was great, awesome customer service.

Our shopping experience was very great, we were greeted by Yusuf Galaria he was very professional and attentive to all our concerns. A week prior we were at the Joliet store and walk around for over an hour we were ready to buy just like today and we were ignored for some reason can not explain why nor assume a reason, but they made a real big mistake. That was not the case today, as soon as we step into your store we were shown attention and care. We were left alone to shop without interruption and distraction from sales persons and when we were ready with our decision Yusuf was on point with our decision making process we were offered great discounts and we walked out with our purchase in cash. We bought a full living set and full bedroom set. Will make a nice addition to our home. Thank Yusuf for not ignoring us and being professional and attentive to us, we will see you again soon.
