Everything was great until the delivery. A night stand was broke and trying to get ahold of someone to replace it was ridiculous. I've called different numbers , I keep getting pushed off to another division and then finally had to do a live chat that didn't have a live person but AI and they said they couldn't find my order. I've only had the furniture for an hour, I should get a replacement right away not file a claim and wait for a service person. I've spent alot of money and really feel like I'm now pushed to the side with no one to help me

I came into the store on Sunday looking for a new couch for my new apartment, and right away, Izzy was amazing at helping me and guiding me through the process. She answered any questions I had, made sure I understood all of the logistics regarding the financing, and I was very happy with my puchase. Akram, the manager, is amazing as well! :)

My experience was short, I knew what I wanted. The salesman, Aris showed me what I asked, I sat , relaxed and walked out with sofa sleeper and reclining rocker to be delivered this week😊

After waiting 2 weeks for my delivery, on delivery date they did not show up. No call nothing. I call and ask where is my delivery? After 3 calls and apparent untrue statements by delivery team who said I refused delivery because it was in pieces. How would that be when no one talked to me and I paid for delivery and setup! Now the only thing they offered to do is just reschedule the delivery. Now I have to wait another week!!! I hope it shows up this time. Very disappointed!!!

After posting such a nice review the other day when i purchased my bed, I had to come back on here and tell what I experienced today at this location. After taking off a full day of work for my delivery that never came, nor did I receive a phone call that my bed was not going to be delivered. I was on the phone with someone from the main office who clearly had no knowledge of what was going on with my delivery. I ended up going up to the store to speak to the manager Cesar who informed me at that time that I was not going to receive my bed and that the bed never should have been sold to me separately, because it was a set. Well why the hell did i not receive a call? Why did i have to come up there to find this information out? All he kept saying was sorry sorry sorry. I should have gotten more then just a sorry. I felt Cesar was very insensitive to the situation and not helpful enough to rectify the problem. That's no way to treat a person who has spent their money in your store, I left highly upset. I will never in life come back to this location and do business with Ashley furniture chain. Just bad business. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

I have a great experience picking out furniture. The Associates were very helpful and made sure I say visually how it would look in my property. Kelisha and Sam helpful me from beginning to end and their manager Cesar was very helpful as well.

Sam was very kind and knowledgeable. He was willing to help us and even gave us an additional discount to help us stay in our budget.

Our sales rep, Chris, who was just recently employed by Ashley Furniture, was absolutely the best!! Greeted us at the door, politely asked us what we were interested in seeing, pointed out the areas of the store where those items were displayed and left us alone to look, feel, sit, etc. checked in on us once when I had a question, and we continued to like at the rest of their displays. When we wanted to get pricing, he was very quick to explain the pricing, discounts, taxes, delivery charges, etc. I asked about another suite of furniture, and gave me pricing for that one, it was then that we decided because of the pricing, discounts, etc. that were available, we bought 3 rooms of furniture!! Chris was extremely helpful!!

We had chuffed around at a few different stores in the area, including Darvin, Bob’s furniture, Ashley furniture, and others. The products that we purchased from Ashley we Immediately loved, and are very excited for them! We worked with Sam at the Orland Park office, he was absolutely wonderful to work with. The next time we are shopping for furniture, he is going to be our first call! He made everything seamless, entered all of our questions, and we didn’t feel like he was crowding us like it other stores. We would give him a sixth star if we could!

He showed us a couple of options that were exactly what we were looking for. And we decided on one very quickly. Whereas at the other store they walk us around endlessly showing us sofas that were not what we wanted. It was so nice to be able to work with someone who listens to what you tell them! The customer service Aris provided was outstanding. A little disappointed that the offers online were not available in store. The 5 year protection plan online was not available for $59.99, I was asked to pay $179.99 protection plan for a $349.99 table. Did not make sense to me. Also, the web said free delivery. Your store only made delivery to the front door available. I gave 4 stars because of the service Aris provided.

As soon as I walked into the store, I noticed the most comfortable couch and couldn't resist sitting on it! Joe, who works there, came over and had a friendly chat with my partner and me. He was incredibly helpful and patient as we looked for a couch, end tables, and a coffee table. His professionalism made our shopping experience thoroughly enjoyable

We had a very bad experience. 1. The store nor customer service return your calls. 2. When issues arise no help from Managers or sales people. 3. Completely unprofessional from start to finish. 4. I called the 800 number and can never speak with a supervisor to try and fix the problems we were having. Very poor communication on their part..

Kaci was brand new employee and was Awesome!!!! I never would have guessed she was new! She showed us around and then when we made a decision she got some help from a co worker to do the paperwork is all. Otherwise she’s didn’t need anything- she was a pro! The co worker she had help her was slow. Was not understanding to the fact I had a time crunch and needed to leave store for a dr appt by a certain time. Made a few mistakes and took a long time to process everything causing me to have to leave mid way through and then come all the way back jsut to sign two forms. Kaci kept apologizing but he seemed oblivious to my inconvenience. Overall was a good experience.

Kelisha, was friendly, knowledgeable she went above and beyond to make sure I found the right mattress for me and my husband needs. The financing process was smooth and easy, and I never felt pressured to make a decision. Thanks Kelisha

It was okay

I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give zero. I Only ordered a bedroom set with 2 nightstands a dresser bed and bed frame. I was told it could be delivered 4 days after purchase at the time of purchase, which is acceptable. Then find out it’s pushed a week later than that and I start to get annoyed. Then have to miss 4 hours of work to meet the delivery guys that tell me the wrong equipment or hardware was put into the system to put the bed together. Then an another attempt was made to put the bed together only to find out no hardware was even brought and the wooden slats that were in my condo aren’t for this bed. So then have to order a box spring for a bed that I thought didn’t need a box spring. So a 3rd attempt is made and the railings and box spring that were brought have no hardware with them to assemble the bed. So after paying for delivery and assembly Miss Ashley says they can mail us the hardware to put the bed together myself in 3 days. Luckily another team was available to come for a fourth time to put the bed together but now I’m stuck with these wooden slats. After trying to return these wooden slats Miss Ashley tells me that all sales are final and I can’t return the wooden slats that I bought for no reason. To sum it up Ashley stinks, they’re delivery people did not do anything wrong I appreciate them, but the people clicking the iPads to order what the purchaser wants are incompetent and apparently don’t know what goes with a bed set and the customer service makes false promises to try and cover themselves, and apparently make you buy something useless that you can’t return. They made an experience that I thought great into something horrible.

My husband and I ordered a living room set back at the beginning of January 2024. Though the paperwork stated up to 16 weeks for a delivery timeframe, the salesperson said it should be more like 6 weeks. Well 16 weeks later and no furniture. We have called and inquired and were told a supervisor would call us back. Three times we’ve called and were told we’d get a call back and have not yet received a call back. Not to mentioned delivery had been scheduled three different times and had to take time off of work. THREE times they scheduled and time was taken off of work. They clearly do not care about their customers. This is inexcusable. Buyer beware!

The effort and friendliness was above and beyond expectations. He worked well getting us size, color and delivery options of the furniture.We were very happy when we walked out of the store.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley’s today! Within 5 minutes Aaron had the perfect sleeper couch that I had in mind with exact measurements/color I preferred with the best deals around! The prices were so great I proceeded to purchase a matching ottoman, gorgeous bed frame, and the comfiest mattress! I can’t wait to go back to furnish the rest of my new place! Would recommend any customer to ask for Aaron too! He was very knowledgeable, personable, and made our experience 10/10!

If you are looking to get help don’t go here. Customer service and assistance lacks here. Plus they don’t care unless they know you will buy something. I also want to point out a lot of the items sold ant Ashley furniture are available on Amazon for a cheaper price. Even though they say they will price match they won’t. Do your homework before buying here.

I love my recliner not happy I tried calling store three times for a delivery time no one picks up the phone very disappointed in that finally the next day I got through to customer service and was able to get the number for my delivery 🚚. I called the guy he was super good kept me up to date on his eta.

On Tuesday, February 20th, 2024, I purchased a living room set and dinning table with chairs at the Ashley Furniture store located Orland Park, IL. The sales man specifically told me I had 72 hours to return the item if i am unhappy with them for whatever reason. Upon delivery of my items, i noticed the items were too big for my living area. I told the delivery team I needed to return the items but they refused to take them saying that i should contact the store for them to schedule a pick up. Few minutes after the delivery team left, i called the customer care team and i was told all deliveries are final that i will not be able to return them. I am now frustrated with items that are too big for my living space after spending so much money. I hope the corporate team reads this and expedite my return.

We used to always go to Darvin (decades.... yes) but their customer service was the worst I've ever encountered. That last time was so bad we don't ever plan on going back. So we tried Ashley and were pleasantly suprised. The manager joe, that got us our new couches, was not pushy. He treated us fair, let my wife and i discuss our options privately for a bit, and just gave us a relaxing sales experience. (We literally sat in the couches we were buying while discussing features lol) thanks, you're our "new darvin"... see you next time!

The people at Ashley in Orland Park are great! Saul was our salesman. I appreciated that he gave me the time & space to check out all the sofas. He never pushed a sale; I even left and came back later in the week! I was able to set up a convenient appointment time to receive my sofa & chair. The delivery team were on time and quick to set up. They cleaned up after themselves and acted very professional.

If I could give a 0 I would. Salesman smelled of weed and had to have his manager come do his sale for him. Manager tried to charge us 800 more than the advertised price of the couch and told us nothing about door openings needing to be a certain size which turned out to be crucial. Delivery guys came (they were nice) but they didn't have any info on how we get our money back and tried to get us to keep the couch when we had no other place to put it. All in all it was a terrible experience and I would never go in for anything besides just looking at a piece I want to get online. Sleezy salesmen tactics, zero important information given and all around horrifically disappointing.

Cheaper furniture. Not quality anymore. Big difference in what they used to sell.

I was supposed to have delivery on Thursday 2/15 which never happen because it wasn’t put in system. It was then rescheduled for Tuesday 2/20 and I was the 19th delivery, from 4:15-8:15 which didn’t work with my schedule as I informed them. I should have been one of the first. Then I was then told I couldn’t schedule it until Wednesday for a new delivery. I paid for delivery with white glove treatment. I would not call this white glove treatment and feel I should be refunded partially for me having to change my plans around on several days for their screw ups. When I was told it would be here a week ago. Very unhappy with the service I received and the help I received over the phone. When I called in I was disconnected more than once before getting this matter resolved. Still do not have a delivery date but they have my money!!!!

Very disappointed . First I was overcharged 160.00 more than the total sales order. Received my furniture today and every piece is soiled only 2 had tags on them. Several had hair on them. None were factory wrapped all had been taped up. Clearly did not receive NEW furniture I ordered. They tell me they will not take it back and give me what I paid for. Waiting for call back to have them send someone to clean totally not acceptable. Buyer beware they take your money and give you used furniture. Also you cannot get through to the store you purchase from all numbers go to corporate.

Do not purchase a bed frame and mattress here! I purchased a bed frame and mattress last month and was told when it would be delivered. A day before delivery I was told that the frame was delayed and would take another a couple of weeks. So I waited… never heard anything except for their automated system trying to make me schedule a delivery for just the mattress. Tried calling the store, my salesperson, and customer service and only got an automated response and could never get through to a real person to talk to. Finally yesterday they scheduled a delivery of the mattress for me when I did not approve the date. Called customer service and finally got through to a live person who told me that my bed frame was back ordered and they did not know if they would ever get so I had to select a new product.I was never made aware of any of this. I cancelled my whole order because of the lack of communication and bad customer service. The worst part is that in order to get an extended warranty on the mattress, I had to purchase a $100 mattress cover with which I took home on the day of sale. I went in to return it today and was greeted by a rude salesman who told me that the cover is non refundable simply because it left their store and was already billed out (never was told this when I purchased it). The manager just told me I should’ve just called the store to which I explained I tried several times and never got any responses or could even talk to a person. Needless to say, I’m thankful I didn’t pay a dime on the $5,000 furniture yet (due to financing) because who knows if I would’ve seen that money ever again. I also heard from a friend that had the exact same experience. I went elsewhere to another store who had almost the same products that I got from Ashely in stock and at less than half the cost. Needless to say I will not be back ever again and will not recommend this store to anyone. Their customer service at the store and over the phone is absolutely terrible and all they care about is making the sale with no follow-through.

I have been a Ashley customer for many years, the furniture is well made and durable. I was looking for a good sectional and Luna in Texas was running a 50% sale on Ashley Furniture. Ashley does not price match but, I called Ashley furniture in Orland Park Illinois and spoke to Megan. Megan was very professional, met, exceeded my expectations in price and delivery. The only problem was color, while we did not purchase I highly recommend Megan at Ashley in Orland Park

The variety of furniture is great! Delivery times are fast. Prices, you can’t beat anywhere else. Customer service… terrible! Gentleman helping us kept messing up the order, putting in our address wrong. When I asked him for an updated receipt with the correct information, he rolled his eyes, attempted to fix it and said he couldn’t print the corrected receipt but promised it would be right. I was going to pay cash and he said they don’t have a cash drawer… totally fine. So I paid with card. Tim (sales guy) had the nerve to ask for a tip when I was putting my cash back in my pocket. In addition to that, he sat us down at the table to complete paperwork and another sales rep was sitting in the chair, vaping and blowing big smoke clouds IN THE STORE!! They were more interested in high fiving each other over the sale than providing good customer service and making sure all our questions were answered. Overall, customer service was absolute trash!

He was very helpful in helping us determine the best pricing package for our needs. My overall experience was wonderful. The manger of the store and Savannah were fantastic with helping me finalize everything.

At first the experience was great. And I ordered my furniture in May and wouldn't need until November. But as I got to my delivery date, I couldn't get in touch with my sales person nor get my calls returned. It made me so mad I was going to refuse the delivery. But my delivery guys Antonio and Dontrelle were so nice they changed my mind. Between the waiting period and the delivery date "ROTTEN."

Last week, I went to the Ashley store in Orland Park in hopes of finding some home theater chairs for my home. After having discussions with the sales person, she told me that if I purchased the chairs, the delivery would be free. After shopping around and comparing prices, I decided that I would buy the chairs from the Ashley store. Today, I reached out to the sales person and explained that I was ready to move forward with the purchase. The sales person apparently reached out to the General Manager and was told that the free delivery was no longer being offered. I was surprised to hear that since the free delivery was a condition of the sale. The sales person went on to say that since the free delivery wasn’t available, the General Manager would work with me on the price. So I went to the store to purchase the chairs. I met with the General Manager and was expecting him to “work with me on the price”. That did not happen! He proceeded to tell me that the price of the chairs are normally much higher than they are now, and that the current price reflects what they would have been on clearance?? He also mentioned that there was some type of price glitch??? These chairs were previously re-called due to problems with the LED lights overheating. So the bottom line is this, I purchased the chairs thinking that the delivery would be free. That wasn’t the case. The salesperson told me that the General Manager would work with me on the price. That did not happen. Ashley didn’t stand behind their words. I won’t be doing any future business with this company.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE……. I went inside the store at the orland park location on Black Friday. Ordered a couch WITH THE SALE PERSON and the MANAGER and they STILL SENT THE WRONG COUCH….. ALSO. They delivered my mirror thru a third party which they left sitting out in the rain!!!! Please shop else where I spent over 3K for them to not be professional and I’m HAVING TO DO OTHER PEOPLE JOB……. So do not recommend at all.

Cheap furniture and terrible customer service. It took over 2 weeks of back and fourth with customer service to get someone to approve my furniture orientation change. Someone from the store had to call me back and no one ever did. It wasn't until I called to just cancel my whole order to shop elsewhere, ALL OF A SUDDEN customer service had the override to make changes to my order. What a joke! I don't understand why they couldn't just do that from the get go and not waste my time! I had to turn away a delivery and wait over a month to finally get changes made. Just threaten to cancel your order if you cant get your issues taken care of over the phone. Never shopping from this company again.

If I could give a score of a zero I definitely would. This is based of my experience and the issues I have with the stuff of the Ashley furniture employees. This issue has started in 2021 and continue till now November of 2023. The management of Orland Park Illinois store is horrible and very unprofessional. The sales people aren't completely honest and adding extra protection products to the purchases without customers knowledge. Shortly after you find out about this situation and when the purchase amount is higher then it suppose to be a while attempting to cancel the item, they portend they don't know anything about it and have very rude attitude and don't want to help at all to resolve this problem. When you ask for the manager of the customer service assistance in a hope to get help, he is never available but then suddenly he appears and threats the customers with police call because he is fed up with the customer frustrations. The amount of disrespect at this place is unbelievable. The furniture delivery its a nightmare itself. Pieces of the furniture are very often broken and scratched. When the customer call to report this issue they not willing to help and put you on hold for hours or simply hang up on you. I'm not the only one who has this problem because few of my friends bought from them and had similar issues and actually worn me about their unprofessional service but I didn't believe them at the time. Well, now I do!!!! Stay away from this place and their employees!!! I will never purchase anything from them again!!! they only nice when they take your money. Ashley Furniture isn't the same store then it was many years ago when quality and exceptional customer service was a top notch and priority. :(

Do not buy from Ashley Furniture. Their furniture is damaged, very overpriced, and the customer service is a nightmare to deal with (no customer service really). Our sectional cushions are already worn out despite us not using it everyday - you're better off buying off of Amazon (probably from same vendor in China). We bought a rawcliffe sectional sofa almost 2 years ago with a warranty and have had nothing but problems with our order. First, it was delivered damaged with missing cushions. Cushions were then sent to wrong address. A month later, the cushions went completely flat. We called and complained about it and they agreed to replace because the sofa was already damaged and made us reselect another one. When we received our reselection, we received another damaged sectional on top of missing an extra wedge. Almost a year later, we are still trying to get this one replaced as we've had nothing but problems with their customer service and always get directed to the customer number with 2 hour + wait times. When we got someone on the phone, they directed us back to the store we bought from. So we ask Diego (Store manager) for a reselection as instructed by the corporate rep and he said he had to look into our order and get back to us to see what he can do. I've called him numerous times as I have not heard back in weeks - he has no clue what he is doing and just blows us off every time we try to get in contact with the store through other associates. We can literally hear him in the background asking who it is and he tells them to say that 'he's busy' when he's not. When we try to get any other alternatives for resolution, we get re-directed to their customers service or corporate number which are both equally horrendous. We still have not gotten our issues resolved on top of our warranty being cancelled randomly by this store for no reason. Their associates do not care, their store manager does not care, and all they want to do is put customers in a loop whenever they come into the store to avoid their issues (google Ashley Furniture customer service, nothing but terrible experiences).

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE from this company! If it’s DAMAGE they will NOT return or give you a refund unless a technician comes to your home to review the item. This takes 7 days for a tech to review your case, then contact you, make an appointment, then you wait another week or so to get an exchange or refund. This company does not provide you how the process works if your items arrive damage. There’s no information on their website, the salesperson does not give you a heads up. There’s no paperwork or receipts with small print that say “no refunds or exchanges on damages items.” Completely unethical and a SCAM! Manager and Claims department “this is the process” “did you ask” - unhelpful and blame it on the customer bc it’s the easiest thing to do. The only furniture store who does not provide return/exchange/refund policy information. AVOID and SHOP elsewhere!

Furniture is not worth it! Paid 1700 for a set and purchased a 5 year warranty, screws are coming out from everywhere including the bed frame my mattress is completely sinking on one side of the bed I call to file an insurance claim they told me it’s not covered, so I call Ashley and now they want me to pay out of pocket for a technician to come out and look at everything. What is the point of the insurance then? What did I pay for? The furniture I’ve had since 2019 and honest to god it’s horrible it scratches easily and screws are just flying out everywhere. I will never purchase another thing from that dump!

Furniture is beautiful and comfortable however the customer service is terrible on the phone. My husband and I got our couch delivered on a Saturday.. Monday we noticed a nail poking through -called them expecting no issues and a replacement to be sent- however I was met with a rude customer service gentlemen who basically did not care and was not helpful at all. He couldn’t tell me if or when it could be replaced. He made passive aggressive remarks and was rude. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone who knew anything. Once you leave the store good luck trying to talk to someone who is actually nice and can help you. Unacceptable to pay that much money and get a product not to your standards AND rude customer service agents who make it no easier. P

If I could give lower than 1 I would. Second time purchasing from this store 1st time problems with delivery and we were told we would get a $100 gift card that never showed up. This time we had to goto this store because the couch we purchased broke and the warranty gave us a credit towards a new one. Picked something out Sam and Diego said the had to put on layaway and corporate had to apply the credit and should only take 2-3 days. 2-3days went past and nothing called corporate they said that they don’t handle this the store does call the store the customer service girl responds with and what’s your problem with an attitude and says corporate has to do that. Several unreturned calls to the store several different corporate phone numbers and answers on what needs to happen a face book complaint and 3 weeks and rude comments from the sales girl when I went to pay for it we got our sofa. And after reviewing the bill again I think the removed the discount from it. Go down the street to Darvin a couple people we know said they have never had a problem with them and their furniture is nice.

I walked in with mom who doesn’t like to be approached, but Sam had a demeanor about him that put us at ease. We told him what we wanted to buy and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. No wasted time trying to sell us something we didn’t want. Was very happy with the sofa bed and loveseat. The quality and feel was just what we wanted and Sam made the experience actually so great that we will be returning customers! Great customer service!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased this table back in September and a few weeks later there was discoloration. I called the number Ashley provided for warranty etc. The first call they set up a technician to come out restore the paint job on the table. The technician was inadequately prepared and said he was not able to restore and recommend a exchange. I contacted customer on Tuesday, November the 16th to which to Camilo to which I spent an hour on the phone with him doing research promising a call back. One week later, with no returned call I again called Ashley this time to speak w/Javier. He was confused and kept stating that a tech had been called. I informed him on multiple occasions that the records should reflect a conversation previous. Again on the phone for over an hour to again to be told I would receive another call back. After a 3rd in speaking Hector I was informed that the tech was assigned to come with out ever contacting me. I was informed the date for service again, no knowledge of this no communication. The staff is confused, helpless and uninformed. Ashley needs to do better with their training. I will never patronize another store of Ashley I have requested, I am forced to wait for another unprepared technician. It was already indicated it couldn't be restored

Screwed up our delivery then wanted us to pay an extra $300 for quick delivey or wait 10 days. I canceled my order. Not recommended.

Two salesmen independently gave conflicting prices on the same item, and then almost doubled the price when I was ready to buy. Management claimed they could not honor the original price because both salesmen were fairly new and did not know what they were doing. They simply apologized but would not honor the quoted prices. l made a separate purchase of a poster queen headboard for delivery and setup. Only the two end posts were brought, missing the middle board. I rejected the incomplete delivery. No one from Ashley has contacted me regarding this issue. I would not recommend making purchases from this company. TOO MANY MISTAKES are made on orders and worst of all, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and POOR or NO PROBLEM RESOLUTION attempts. Still waiting to have my issue resolved!!

I have purchased several couches/sectionals from Ashley and was always pleased HOWEVER my latest purchase was a huge disappointment. My furniture arrived damaged and I was told it would be resolved by the deliver team. I was lead to believe that new furniture would be provided. I was told several days later by texts-no phone call- that resolution was repair not replacement. To date no one has called. And it will be a month before anyone comes out. I asked for a new couch and was flat out told via text no. The person texting me mocked and insulted me. I am disgusted and disappointed. UPDATE 9/8/23: I am still with damaged furniture and absolutely NO resolution. The 3rd party company SAW Enterprise did not show up on 8/10, 9/8 and now says they can’t come out until 10/24/23. Ashley Furniture will do nothing until there 3rd party vendor SAW comes to look at the furniture. The manager at the store in Orland says they can’t assist. Customer Service is doing nothing. I have had furniture since July that I am paying for but can’t use. This is horrible.

I needed a new bed and was shown one that I absolutely fell in love with. Sam was great at describing what the bed is capable of.

Wide selection. Good quality furniture. Marcus went above and beyond with furniture selection. He took his time to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my choices. 100%satisfied! Unfortunately, one of the chairs was damaged and I worked with the customer service to replace it and they tried several times but brought the wrong chair both times. Marcus did tell me to inspect my furniture on delivery and the mistake of not seeing it right away was my fault. After 2 unsuccessful deliveries and a ton of frustration on my part, I contacted Marcus again and he went out of his way to correct the issue with his manager. This young man went above and beyond to make sure that I was fully satisfied. He apologized for the trouble I went through even though it was not his fault. If you ever want furniture from Ashley, make sure you ask for Marcus because he really does care about the customer. I think the corporate leaders should give this man a big raise! He stands by his commitment to support the products he sells and totally cares about the customers he serves. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Marcus for caring about me and my happiness.

Terrible experience. They kept trying to get us to use their store card despite politely declining multiple times. Kept promising to only give us discounts if we agreed to use their card after that, even though the store had a sale going on for the items we purchased. Confirmed a delivery date and then refused to honor it. Couldn’t speak to their automated service because we purchased in store and they wanted us to call the store. Called the store 4 times yesterday, left 2 “urgent” voicemails, nothing. Called 6 times this morning, left 1 additional “urgent” voicemail and still haven’t heard from them. For the price I paid (6 thousand) I would at least expect a phone call

So you can’t look up and order but you can run an invoice and do credit card authorizations?! So the system really isn’t down. Something is up. I wish I had read reviews. This organization has a history of this type of behavior. If they rectify the issue ASAP perhaps I will change my view. For now, my advice is stay clear away from this store.

I called to place an order for a table and the sales woman was really nice, capable and took care of my order very efficiently. I don't know why the order has to take a week to be fulfilled but other than that all went very well. I got the email, paid and next Friday it'll get delivered. She price matched it online without being asked and was very courteous.

We had purchased a patio sectional and chair. 1st time there we were given a price of $1600 for the sectional. We went home to measure and came back to the store and decided to purchase the chair. Getting into the financials we learned the price was actually $2800. The salesman gave us the discount on the online price which they didn't honor. Then a lot of confusion with giving us the online price or discount on the in store price. Then online it said purchases over $899 was free shipping. That was also not honored and we had to pay $300 for delivery and set up because just delivery was $250. The one manager on duty was the only helpful one but even his help was not much. This company needs more clarity between their online and in store purchases. Pretty terrible experience but hopefully the furniture is made better than the company is run.

Our experience with Marcus at Ashley Furniture was Excellent. Marcus greeted us at the door and was friendly, patient and simply helpful gave us our own space while shopping for our Sofas and worked with his manager to give us a Good Deal. We picked up our sofas the next day he had everything ready, We were in and out in less than an hour. Marcus was extremely nice and helped us all the way out with our purchase. I will definitely return and recommend this location!

My biggest regret was trusting this company! Id been looking into purchasing a new couch to fit a new aesthetic I was enjoying. The seller did not know anything about the couch and I’ve seen been left with the damage. Do NOT purchase the McLain couch. From the delivery drivers scratching the cushions from day 1, and the seller Sam not disclosing how horrible this fabric for families. It’s absolutely awful. Looks cute in pictures if you’re into modern boho, but if you even just gently rub against it, you’ll be left with damage. This was slightly under 4K, take your money elsewhere. A big investment and an ever bigger headache. It’s become the biggest eyesore in my home. If you’re in customer service, do your clients/customers a service by actually studying your items you’re selling to better suit their vision.

Ashley furniture is the biggest disappointment we ever had to deal with lately. I highly recommend to anyone, save yourself energy and shop anywhere else! Customer service at Ashley is awful, and if you ll need to deal with theme, your issue will most likely be never resolved. People ll point fingers at each other, then at different departments, at call centers they r not even in USA. Our retail nightmare started in January 27 2023 and still continues til today without any solution and solid response, being in the middle of May. We went to the store in January, purchased sofa, paid full price right at that moment and left the store waiting for delivery. Went back to the store around March 15 while not hearing anything from the store. We were told that our purchased sofa was discontinued but noone ever called or informed us, of course noone ever refunded our money. After asking for refund, they tried all ways possible to not proceed with our refund. Later that week being stuck with no sofa in a new house we decided to choose other item from the same store. After delivery, we have issues with the chosen product being very poor quality but even worst having a skin rush every single time, my skin touches the fabric.I tried to sit on the sofa couple times until we were sure that’s the cause. We made multiple trips to Orland store seeking for help, refund, exchange, or anything they could help us with in this situation We end up talking maybe to 4 different people at the store and in the end, end up talking to manager Joe, who told us that Ashley furniture corporate/management took all the responsibilities from theme at the store to resolve issues with customers handing us paper with number for GUEST RESPONSE TEAM. Don’t even waste your energy and times to talk to theme. Those people are call centers outside of United States. No one really cares and no one is responsible to solve the problem. We talked with 5 different people so far from that team the past two weeks.They always give us ticket number they issued and tell us we ll receive call back in 24-48 hours. NEVER HAPPENED!! Not even once. When we call back they ll inform us that the ticket was canceled or closed. HOW WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW what’s the solution is. We are in hopeless circle and I wish every single day that we never step a foot in this store in a first place. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WE EVER DEALT WITH IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Unacceptable!

When my daughter buys a new couch and it arrives like this. They haven’t done anything. Call customer service, they say call store, go into store, call delivery company, just blaming everyone but themselves. Very sad and they don’t deserve anyone’s business. Wish we would have looked up reviews beforehand. Nothing but compliments, I see why!

Less than a month, very cheap quality it looks nice if it’s not used ( service team “ Heather “ ) in a very in a very rude way ( pilling is not covered ) really…. We bought this brand new , we we barely sat on it, or used it. How it’s going to look after 6 months? Why do Ashley store carry cheap products? And it’s expensive to buy!!!! So disappointed. First we ordered online and after more than 2 months waiting for them to call , we went to the store to ask ( they said it’s discontinued!!! How come no one call to let us know. …. And then we looked at this gray nice sectional sofa with a lot of pillows, looks nice ( but not after 3 weeks ) looks terrible very very cheap . Pillows are stuffed without anything just like that

Absolutley some of the worst customer service experience. Purchased a couch, a year later the couch had a faulty piece causing the inner layer to tear. Customer service said it was not covered even though we paid $400+ for a extended warranty. Went through numerous calls with the store manager, coporate, escalation team, you name it. I was told I would recieve a refund on my warranty based on my situation with the problem. Its been over 3 months, no check or refund. Will be filing formal complaint to BBB and contact the Illinois fraud organization...seems to be a very common issue based on reviews.

I advise you not to shop with them. Once that furniture has been brought to your house you own it no matter the problem. I was delivered a dirty sofa that was also discolored. The delivery men would not take it back and management has assured me that I am stuck with the furniture. Whatever happened to buyers remorse. Also, the salesman told me I had 72 hours to return the furniture. This is not true. I spent a lot of money to be unhappy and stuck. So I followed all of the steps. I waited 3 weeks for a technician who told me today that the sofa needs a total cleaning and he cannot do that, he can only spot clean. He also notice the front leg is missing and that someone previously tried to clean the sofa before I received it which has caused discoloration. Additionally, the stitching in the sofa does not line up indicating that the middle section of the sofa is taller than the 2 end pieces. Ashley furniture store - you need to refund my money or send me a new sofa. My next step is to get an attorney involved. Update: So it turns out I have to keep the sofa. It's in their policy. People please read very carefully before buying from them. If there is a problem or defect in the delivered product, they will attempt to fix it - never replace it. I just want the rest of the world to know what they are getting in to with this company. Side note: this will be their second attempt for "fix" it. The first technician they sent could not do it. So more waiting - and more dirty filthy couch with a missing leg. I have posted a pic of the dirt on front of sofa. It's supposed to be a white sofa. Also notice there is no front leg on this dirty sofa.

I had a great experience. I worked with a salesperson named Susan and she was so helpful. I saw the bookshelf that I wanted at Ashley online for over $100 cheaper. And she helped me get a price match and I was able to get it for that price in the store. I am a woman of a certain age and I tend to get ignored, but Susan was very attentive and she made me feel valued as a customer. And I would definitely shop at Ashley's again!!

STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!! The managers are super lazy and dismissive as if they have something better they need to do. I think the manager at the time name was Greg or something? My girlfriend had a problem with her order being picked up. Was given the run around of “call this number” to the point I had to go up to the store to get the issue resolved. These people are thieves, scammers, and snakes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! Also if there is a generic response by “Ashley” then I just want it to be clear that you are admitting to all the shady business practices you guys do and how terrible of a company you are.

I bought furniture for an entire level of my house last May. They delivered a chipped dinner table and promised to replace the table but nothing happened. I called to follow up and still not available. In addition the table I bought for my kitchenette has chairs that require my consistent attention to stabilize screws so my family doesn't fall at dinner. I spent somewhere over $2000 for this treatment and I'm frankly dissatisfied and will not be going back!

We had a great experience shopping for a couch. Our salesman, Mac, showed us plenty of options without being pushy. He helped us find just what we were looking for at a very reasonable price.

My initial experience purchasing my furniture with Ashley Furniture was great. I purchased a sectional with financing with expected delivery in 2 weeks after purchase. Here's where things went horribly wrong. Two days before my delivery date I did not receive any notifications on a timeframe for delivery. I called customer service and was told my item was delayed and now was pushed back another week. No email, no notification regarding the delay and had to find this out on my own. Initially two days before this I was notified that one of the chaises was delayed and it would be a partial delivery, which was untrue per the information I was given from the warehouse staff. The communication between the warehouse and the actual store is very poor. I spoke to the assistant sales manager, who sold me the couch, and wasn't given any solutions or even a waived delivery fee (which by the way is around $200). I sold my couches already and could not wait another week (if not delayed AGAIN). I ended up cancelling and going to another Ashley in Highland, IN and purchased a clearance couch that was able to be delivered next day. The sales person from Highland had to call this Orland Park store to cancel my order after I already spoke to someone 15 minutes prior and was told they would cancel. The assistant sales manager said he was refusing to cancel my order at that time (for unknown reason). Then another worker stated I needed to come into the store to cancel my order personally, which was untrue. While the staff was on the phone on speaker trying to get this sorted out, the assistant manager made the unprofessional comment mentioning that I was the girl he spent 2 hours with and wasted his time. The funny part is I spent two hours purchasing the couch because of their technology issues. Why would I want to be there for 2 hours wasting my own time? The customer service at this location is very poor and unprofessional. The staff are more concerned with sales numbers than with customer service.

My Sofa was Not in the Store, Sooooo Big Mac took my Photo from Ashley Furn. Online AND made sure I got Exactly what I wanted!! Also, he did not Rush me. Today's Service was Excellent. THANK YOU!!

Purchased a $3,200+ sectional from here. Bought the extended warranty...total waste. One year in, the threading holding the cushions up ripped apart. Contacted customer service and the store both said this was NOT covered under warranty. How is this not!? Absolutley insane...we were sold this warranty promised that it would cover any issues including damage. Needless to say don't trust these people and definitley will not be referring anyone here. Going to be pursuing this one, just wait.

I bought an accent bench from here over a year ago. It arrived broken. I waited months for the new one that never came. I finally decided to take the bench back to the store bc I couldn’t store it in my garage anymore (also not my responsibility to hold items they delivered broken). Any other company would have sent me a shipping label to send it back but according to Ashley I need to keep it until the new one arrives. Um no. I said I can no longer keep it, brought it to the store and the employee told me I could leave it. Next day I get a call stating if I don’t pick up the bench she will “delete” my order. I cannot keep their broken furniture. Now when I call there is no order associated with my phone number. I’ll never get my bench or a refund. There is a reason there is a buyer beware Facebook page against Ashley furniture. Do not deal with this store or any Ashley store. I am still amazed they can get away with this. Read reviews and beware.

I went in to buy a bed frame and I knew what I wanted as soon as I walked in! Everything worked out well.

I just had the worst experience with one of the salesmen he was pressuring me about the insurance so I told him if I have to add the insurance by force I don’t want the furniture he said to me, I know your not interested in anything like if I was just there to waist his time. He made me feel horrible I would never go back he wasn’t just rude he was very ignorant when I walked away I said thank you and he mumbled behind my back I didn’t want to argue with him so I just left.

Bargain for deal

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE— I was supposed to receive my sectional in October and it’s about to be January!! (Still no idea when I’m going to receive my sectional) Terrible customer service…they make you run in circles calling multiple numbers in order to contact anyone.

If i could do ZERO stars i would!!! ABSOLUTELY the WORST experience I have EVER had in my 39 yrs of life. Sales person ordered the wrong stuff, even though the EXACT stuff wanted was on display and I had the Ashley site pulled up on my phone. NOW because i work 48 hrs and am off 24 and just opened it 7 days later, it cant be returned and the correct stuff ordered!! Sales person claims its all because he is “new”. Then disclose that and have a manager double check it!!! Now i have to pay for the correct stuff and am having to keep the wrong stuff!! NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!

We walked into Ashley Home Store with some idea of what type of couch we were going to purchase. The Home Furnishing Specialist Shady Awad was there to greet us and answered our initial questions with a smile. We were looking around the store and finally made a decision on which couch to get. However it's with his clear detail and explanation of our questions and options each couch had was what impressed me. He truly was very friendly and very patient with us. We were truly satisfied not only with our purchase but with the very friendly and also business like customer service from Shady Awad. Highly recommend this place for purchase of any home furnishing.

Just bought new furniture from there.

I called the store around 3-4pm on Black Friday asking about their sales and was told they had a 30% off storewide. I told the woman exactly what I was looking for and that I was coming from an hour away so really wanted to be sure first. She put me on hold to check with someone else and came back and confirmed that yes that would be 30% off. When we got there I was given the price with no discount. When I asked about applying the 30% off I was told the ‘sale’ was only from 6am-12pm. I explained that I had called and was told only 2 hours ago and that she had also checked with someone else and that was the only reason we came so far or I would have just ordered online and saved the time and gas. He didn’t really seem bothered and I don’t think even apologized for what happened. I was hoping after hearing that I was told wrong I could get a store applied discount, even 10% would have made me happier at that point because I know we all make mistakes. They didn’t want to even try and fix their mistake. I wish I didn’t want this piece as much as I did or I would have walked out. Not very happy with the experience at this store.

Avoid ordering anything from Ashley Furniture. That is the advice I give. Unless you want to take the gamble that everything will go 100% smoothly with your purchase & delivery and you won't need to speak to anyone about anything, because their customer service is absolutely horrible to deal with. We ordered a table from Ashley Furniture. The table arrived broken. They sent us a replacement table. They told us FedEx would not pick up our old, broken table, and we had to donate it to a non-profit. Okay, no problem. The very next day, FedEx showed up at our door to pick up our return... Because this was unbeknownst to us, we didn't have the 145lb table properly taped to give it to them. Had we known they were coming we would've been prepared. I get on the phone with their "customer service" representatives. They tell us FedEx will actually come and pick up our return. Oh, okay. So FedEx shows up again. Asks us if we have a return label. Nope. I get on the phone with their "customer service" representatives again. Back and forth. I must've been on the phone with them 10 separate times. They tell us FedEx is supposed to provide the return label. FedEx is telling us Ashley is supposed to send it to us. Ashley Furniture tells me they will email me the return label. They never did. Another "customer service" representative tells again to just donate it. The three donation centers in my area either tell me they aren't accepting furniture at this time, or they aren't doing residential pick ups. Nice. So now we're stuck with a broken table. Still never received a return label. Around the same time, we had also ordered a couch. We received a phone call from someone at Ashley Furniture asking us if 11/25 is an okay delivery date. We agreed. 11/25 comes and we receive a text message that our delivery driver has arrived. There is no driver in sight. Minutes later, we receive a confirmation text, and a confirmation email that our couch has been delivered. There is even a squiggly mark as my signature stating "I have received my package." AND, a picture that the driver took of his dirty dashboard in his vehicle as confirmation our couch has been delivered. Upon speaking to another genius service representative, they cannot explain to us why we have received all the confirmation our couch has been delivered, all they can tell us is our delivery date is 12/9. First time we have ever heard of the 12/9 date. They tell us 11/25 was never our delivery date. So then how, or why have we received multiple forms of confirmation, on 11/25? I doubt the couch will be here 12/9. After this huge stressful hassle I will never order anything from Ashley Furniture again. Save yourself the headache!

The first gentleman that was helping us showed us three couches while we were sitting on one walked away and never came back. It took 20 minutes for someone else to come help. If I didn’t have an Ashley card already and plan to buy a cheep couch to get me through till I move I would have left! I will not be recommending this location to anyone- anytime!!

Never, ever again. Sales associate told us the chair we wanted was available without some detailing we didn’t like. He ordered us a totally different chair, different color, and different list price. The chair color is fine, but it’s $200 cheaper on the website AND has free home delivery! Could’ve avoided driving all the way to Bolingbrook to pick them up. I tried to get a price adjustment and customer service told me to call the store. The store said I have to call customer service. Then customer service said I have to call the store, but somehow put in a request for a price adjustment? Only for the store manager to call me back and say they don’t do price adjustments - I’d have to call customer service. I tried the chat on their site and after being transferred twice, the last person had a horrible attitude and closed the chat on me! If I could, I’d return the chairs and order them cheaper online, but “all sales are final” at this store (idk about others, they’re independently owned, something else I wish I would’ve known). If you *must* buy, just order through their website and save yourself the headache. I feel so cheated and will be closing my Ashley card. Shady, overpriced, and horrible business practices.

I have been buying furniture over the last two years. This is the first time I have ever been charged 400.00 for delivery. Just for a tv stain, and a table and six chairs. I have gotten thing from you before. I know that everything comes from the same Warehouse.400.00 thats crazy.

The Ashley salesperson was great. The problem we had is we were rejected for the twelve months interest free program. My husband’s credit rating is 825 and mine is 828. Hard to believe this program is real. We loved the couch and Ciera was very helpful so we bought it anyway. We will look for alternatives to Ashley in the future.

Our experience with delivery was very bad, incomplete order missing furniture. They failed to complete the setup and insure that everything works, which in fact we received broken furniture. We plugged our chair in after the delivery guys left and it did not work, plus the same chair had previously been repaired from a tear.!!!!!! I am seriously considering to return my entire 6,000 purchase!!!!!!!!

The sales associate in orland park was very nice, however, the delivery experience was the worst I’ve ever encountered. Dates communicated for delivery with no shows and cancellations without notice. Called customer service on 2 occasions to rectify and was hung up on. If it was accidental they could have called back since my account number was looked up by my PHONE NUMBER. Went to the store and they were not helpful at all. The sales regional manager sent an email on my behalf however no ever reached out to me. It’s a shame because I like their furniture, but because of the lack of customer service, care and concern from the employees I am a detractor and was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Just a huge mess and I will NEVER EVER spend my hard earned money at Ashley furniture again.

Horrible horrible horrible service!! Delivery was supposed to take place 4 times on an order placed in December 2021! Yesterday kitchen table came and was missing pieces! Bed had a cracked foot board, went back! Horrible customer service! Spoke with Rob in Texas, he said he’s the highest person I could speak too! No embarrassment, no sympathy, no apologies….I’m ashamed to say I shopped there and always thought it was a good store! Never ever again!

The store manager Joe, was such a pleasant guy. Our sales person Alex, took his time and explained everything to me and was very pleasant as well.

Our couch and chairs ordered 8/27 came with a receipt that stated we had 7 days to arrange a moving van. We called 3 days later to explain we needed till outlet day off on Saturday to organize a delivery truck. Unbelievably without an email, text or phone call the Orland Park manager gave our paid for couch to another customer on Wednesday. Our Saturday moving van arrived and was told it was cancelled and sold the 31st. Even the manager who we complained to states her policy was 5 days even though she impetuously sold it 3.5 days later. Our whole 3 days of browsing and selecting was a total waste of time. The manager didn’t even apologize, she was confidently claiming she cancelled it without even waiting 7 or even 5 days. Ironically, I wasn’t that interested in Ashley quality. Our other furniture is from West Elm and and Art Van where customer service was superior. This was a horrible shopping experience where you can’t even trust the sales team to say a single accurate thing regarding policy and then dismiss you with some military attitude customer service.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I've been waiting for my furniture 4 months and finally tell me they have it all for delivery. Then 3 days prior they only have partial but will still deliver it. 3 times now they just haven't showed up to deliver anything. So today for the 4th time trying to push my delivery back ago I canceled my bedroom set and will take my chances somewhere else. Worst customer service and manager Orland Park store.

Akram Samara was one of the best salesperson I have ever encountered! His calm, polite, and friendly demeanor is indeed rare! Akram had extensive knowledge about Ashley including manufacturing thus being able to quickly answer my questions and address my concerns about the company, product, warranty, costs, purchase, etc.. Akram also accurately detected my hesitancy, more than once, and made it worth my while to move forward. He is smart with the numbers as well! He was relaxed, humorous, and polite which caused me, a retired teacher, to feel as if I had gone to lunch with a friend. The store inventory was very nice.

Wow! I wish I would’ve read all of the bad reviews before I made a purchase. I too will add a review about this bad experience. I made a purchase and was told a date and didn’t get what I purchased on the promised date. Now it looks like I’m going to be waiting for a month. I called customer service and they said they often get calls about people not receiving their items as promised on the date. They don’t answer the phone at the store! I’ve called 10 times over the last few weeks and was only answered once. I left a message for the sales manager and I haven’t received a call back. This has been an absolutely horrible experience.

Well it’s almost September and I still don’t have what I ordered! Every time I call they give me a new “estimated” date that just keeps getting pushed out! I could have just ordered custom built furniture from the Amish and had it already! It’s unacceptable I paid thousands for the furniture I wanted and can’t get it but I see other people getting their products right away! The chair we bought from Ashley broke and we called to have it repaired. Ashley told us to call another number for a part and yet another number to then schedule the repair. We jumped through those hoops only to find out the chair actually couldn't be repaired. So we called Ashley again and we were told to talk to the sales department about a replacement chair. They told us that since we paid for a warranty on the chair, we qualified for the replacement. That was in March of 2022. It is now August and after literally hundreds of calls, still do not have a replacement chair. We will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley ever again. The worst service we've ever received and we are stuck with a broken chair.

Kiersten T who claims to be the store manager has poor communication skills, especially for a returning customer, our last order is delayed 2 weeks and counting, even after confirming multiple times that the order will be delivered on time, or we can pick another style in stock. Order never arrived, and no details provided on when to expect the new beds, also left her multiple emails and called delivery team and was on hold for 30min with no response from either one.

I have been waiti g for delivery of the bed since 10/15/2021. There were four previous deliveries of the wrong and damaged parts. Finally the bed was delivered again with several unnessary parts slats and rails that the delivery drivers did nit use and did not removed them from my home. I now have to spend time trying to get my bill corrected for unused parts and over charges on some parts. This has been a horrible experience.

Overall good, Amal was great. However multiple times I had to tell the “mattress guy” to basically leave me alone. Also be sure to double and triple check you orders, twice I had to correct what they were going to order.. don’t think it was on purpose, but she added 2 additional items. My only real issue was when I went to pay, with a certified cashiers check, I was there for 30 minutes while they “verified” it. They push the financing hard, yet cash paying customers leave feeling like criminals. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Update AFTER delivery: Quality control is terrible. Multiple pieces arrived damaged or poorly stitched or put together.. but was undetected until after they left. Tried calling but literally was just hung up on. Don’t see this furniture lasting a year at this point, wish me luck in getting these items replaced or fixed :-(

Delivery was good 7/5/22. Wrong color dining room table and damage couch. When we first arrived to the Orland Park, IL location in April no one spoke/ greeted and it took an hour to get help. I get it you busy but customer sevice is everything(Take two second to say hello ill be right with you). On top of that I had the guy move a table a want to go with a couch I was getting.. Come to find out it was never on the receipt and now its sold out. Also I had to call twice to get my order correct. Please do better!!!!!

UPDATE! I had to go into the store, over 30 min drive, to get someone to actually speak to me. I was told the pieces I needed were in stock and I should have them 6/28. I got my confirmation text. I confirmed delivery with a text and via phone call (2-5p time frame) at 6p still no furniture. Contacted customer service “oh sorry it’s delayed” THEY WILL NOT REACH OUT TO YOU WITH INFORMATION. Please do not ever buy from Ashley. My order was then supposed to be in 6/28 then 7/02 then 7/06 and now I just had to call and ask where it is and oh my goodness, now it won’t be in until 7/13. Terrible people to do business with. Spend the extra money and get your furniture elsewhere. I’ve heard good things about Bobs Discount Furniture. Waited two months for my sectional only to unwrap it and partially assemble the legs and find the sales guy ordered the wrong pieces, I asked multiple questions on layout and was assured what was ordered was what was shown to me in a photo, and the couch has no way of fitting together. Reached out to Alex in sales, no response. Call the store who told me to call customer service. Called the number given and it was the call center who told me to call the store. Called the store again and was given another number to call. Called them it was a call center who told me only the store can issue a refund. Currently waiting for the manager who is "busy" to call me back. Terrible experience and will never buy from here again. Delivery people were cool.

Horrible customer service. I purchased a basics bed and received an upcharge $750 bed. It took over 3 months to receive my correct bed and I’m still paying for the up charged bed until they correctly credit my account. Horrible experience and nothing was ever done about my inconvenience even though the sales associate made an error. I will never shop here again and highly recommend you all doing the same

I ordered a bed set. The first time it was delivered with no footboard or bed rails. I went into Ashley in Orland Park specifically said I need bed rails and the footboard. It was delivered a second time still no bed rails. I moved and my bed has been on the floor for weeks now because I’ve been waiting for rails. I call the Orland Park location they won’t answer after saying they will call me back! So I took my business to Ashley in highland Indiana guess what? I got my bed rails! What was so hard about getting me the item I neeeded? Thank you Ashley in Highland for your great service. Orland Park was frustrating.

Brandon and James were very helpful and professional in helping us make our purchase. Both the mattress set and couch are very nice. They gave us good insight in what to look for while making our decision.

I went to order a bedroom set and when it was delivered the first time they said I never bought the side railings so they couldn't install the bed because I only had the foot and head boards but not the side boards. I asked when I go to the store and say I want to buy a bed I expect that all 4 parts to make a bed are ordered. They ordered the 2 side boards had to wait a month to get them, and now today I had the bed delivered again and they were missing screws so they could not install the top rails and I have to wait for the screws to come in. They also installed the bottom of the bed incorrectly to the point that my mattress will not even fit.

The sales team was very kind and knowledgeable I would recommend anyone to go there. If you're not sure what you should get there there to help. Five stars from me

This store’s management and customer service is some of the worst I’ve experienced. I spent a lot of money at the store after moving to a new home and despite assurances the furniture would arrive at specific dates it took 11 months. I was then given a credit for my troubles but when I went into the store to use the credit they said that it expired. I had to call customer service to get a new credit and once I received that credit I went into the store to finally buy additional furniture. It was at this time they said that I can’t use the credit on the item I wanted to buy because it was on sale. I could use the credit on the non-sale price… except even with the credit it would cost more than the sale price. This store and corporate office doesn’t care at all about their customers. BTW, 2 pieces of furniture showed up with holes in them but since I waited 11 months to receive them it seemed pointless to get a replacement. UPDATE: I visited another Ashley store in a neighboring town and they were able to order the item I needed and apply the gift card without any issue. The other store didn’t argue with me but instead helped me to do everything in less than 10 minutes. This is continued proof that the management at the Orland Park store is not good.

What a horrible experience. I purchased a bedroom set in November/December of 2021. The sales rep told me that it would take approximately 4 months to receive the furniture. It was understandable with all the shortages of everything else in the country. When they finally came to deliver the set in April the bed frame was damaged to the point the installation crew couldn't assemble the frame. They took the frame back and 2 weeks later I set an appointment to receive a new frame. When delivery arrived and the installation crew pointed out to me that it was the same defective bed frame. Fast forward a month when they attempted to deliver the frame for the 3rd time. I asked the installation crew to open the box outside as to not waste their time and effort to carry the same frame inside. Fortunately it was not the same bed frame, but unfortunately 3 of the 4 corners for one side of the frame were severely dented and frayed. I called Ashley to voice my frustration with their service and I was told the best they could do was offer me $45 off. I paid nearly $1000 for the set, took 3 days off work for the delivery and the best they could do was off me 5% off.

I made a large order and given a delivery date of 5/25/22 and also told on 5/17/22 I would receive a call in three days. I didn't receive a call in three days, I called to check on the delivery on the 24th and was told delivery is now June 8th. In the meantime my living room and dining room is empty also. 2 hours after leaving the store I called the store five times the phone rang 5-6 times and then disconnected each time.

Service in store was phenomenal BUT now that they have ran one of ours credit and we've spent $20,000 in store with them it's been a hassle to get the furniture nothing but run arounds, out of everything only the mattress has been delivered they keep changing the delivery date then blaming it on us. Literally have missed almost a week worths of work because we keep constantly being lied to about the furniture delivery, will never shop at and Ashley's again nobody cares once they have your money like I said $20,000 was spent after that all the nice ness goes out of the door this experience has frustrated us both beyond all end.

At the store receive excellent service from Kandace. But then after paying for all in Feb. still a nightmare at end of April. Communication at all levels, customer, service, corporate, and distribution/ delivery all have different information, no answers and no concern for disruption. And I still don’t have the correct furniture. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. Communication, logistics, and responsibility is out the window. My time is of no concern and blame seems to be the go to across services.until they fix this I’m stuck with furniture I did not order for as long as it may take. Now I have May 4, May 7, and 2-4 weeks as answers to the question of when. I will add that Willie @ GBS, their insurance company was the best as well. Let’s see if my refunds ever get applied at the store. I hate writing, but this constitutes a true evaluation. They need a serious root cause analysis. Problems go well beyond “the pandemic” this is systemic. For now I suggest you stay away. I will offer my services to maybe help them correct. But for now, incompetency reigns. Ps Jason at corporate at least handled my refund due. The rest, paid for in full, but not seen yet. Ashley has fallen a far way from what their voicemails declare. No more patience. It is what it is.

This is a horrible place, I have been fighting with them legally since August of last year, I only wanted a soft bed that you can sink your body in. I explained that the Sales Doctor Martin lied to me. I am 69yrs old, I have a left knee replacement, I explained that to him, I also told him that I have hip problems. All I wanted was a soft comfortable Mattress, and Box Spring. He lied to me, I got a Sealy plus top Mattress and a base, that I can't use, I can't plug it in because it bothers me knee. I have been sleeping in my recycling chairs since I got this bed in May 2021. I have been lied to, I was told that they have a NO RETURN and aa NO REFUND POLICY that I never knew anything about. Number 1, I don't purchase anything from any Store that I can't return or get a refund. I was told that they have some document that I was supposed to have signed, but I don't have a copy of this document? This Base that goes up and down is $1299.00. They are doing everything not to take this thing back ?? I asked them to take all of it back and they won't even do that. I am so upset with them. They want to only give me a Mattress and they are trying to force me to keep a base I can't use. I am paying a loan for $2400 for nothing. Be aware of what you buy.

I would give Ashley Furniture a "0" rating if I could . But unfortunately google will not post my review with out clicking on at least 1 star. I bought a bed, mattress & foundation back in Aug/Sep. It took months for the 1st delivery. The 1st delivery they had the wrong color side rails for the bed. The 2nd delivery attempt months after the 1st attempt they again had the wrong color side rails. At least 2 months after that they attempted a 3rd delivery and the service men were supposedly a 3rd party had the correct color side rails but refused to put the bed together. Months after that they have ashley team come out put the bed together and find the medal frame that connects to the wood bed were for another style bed. Then they send another team out a different time and day get the bed together i sleep on it not even 2 wks to find the bed starts shaking when i get on and get off the bolts come off and the whole medal frame 3 parts are defected bed has a warrwnty but ashley refuses to come out . 2 months ago they set an apt up for march 29 i call to find out the time frame they are coming and ashley cancelled the apt back in feb the 15th. Claiming they reached out to me wanting photos . I never got a call i just emaild them my phone records to show proof they never contacted me and I still have a bed I can not sleep on . This is not the way customers should be treated nor are you a #1 furniture store. This is awful and unacceptable!

Ordered furniture in this store at the beginning of February, because was told estimated ready time will be 03/15, witch latter on got changed to 03/30 however latter found out that got pushed back to 04/30, and latter on that got pushed back to 04/13.

My sales girl was very helpful and polite. Found just the right couch with the rolled arms. Exactly what I was looking for. The price was perfect.

I ordered a table, chairs, and bar stools November 18. I received notice that the table would arrive before Christmas. It came with no chairs. Who ships a table with no chairs for starters? So my table has been sitting unused with no chairs since then. I received notice weeks ago that my chairs were in, but they won’t deliver them until the bar stools come in and it wouldn’t be for months. Last week, I finally got them to agree to split the order and deliver the chairs today. My mother sat at my home all day to receive these chairs that were never delivered. When I called, they told me that nobody split the order and no delivery was scheduled. This is my lonely table. Still waiting for chairs!!!!

We hadn't visited an Ashley store in a long time. Well.... we had a really great experience. Our salesperson Lola amd Star were awesome. They were very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It truly made our shopping experience a great one. I highly recommend these two ladies and this Ashley store for your home needs. I had an amazing experience at Ashley. The sales associate Javon and manager Starr were exceptionally helpful in purchasing a mattress. Javon helped me test a few different mattresses, gauging my comfort levels and sleep needs. Starr then helped finalize the sales experience in a quick and efficient fashion. Granted, there was a certain amount of upselling that happened as can be expected, but I was okay with it. For what I wanted, and what I was getting, added on to the customer experience, I absolutely recommend Ashley Home Furnishings in Orland Park.

My experience with Ashley Furniture was horrible. I ordered a bed in September and I was told I would receive my order in 12 weeks. However, 20 weeks later and I didn’t receive my order. After that time I was so frustrated that I decided to cancel my order. I went to the store and they refused to refund me my whole amount, they deduced the delivery fees when nothing was delivered. I just find it very unprofessional that they didn’t fulfill my order and refuse to refund the whole amount. Darvin Furniture across the street has way better customer service!!

My Home Furnishing Specialist today was Javon Boyd. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he listened very well and directed me to the mattress that he felt from my description would meet my needs. He was right!!

REVISED: Sadly I have to change my review to 1 star because I received my bed with missing bed rails and roll slats. They ordered the bed without adding all the parts. I have been back to the store multiple times and the manager has no idea how to handle it. I have called customer service and they say I need to deal with the store because they did not order the bed properly. This is a simple fix but it has been painful and is still not resolved. You cannot reach anyone at the store without going there. This has been going on for over 2 weeks. I had planned on ordering more furniture from them because initially my experience was good however I would not recommend doing business with this store. (previous review)XXX was my sales rep and he did a good job not being pushy but making me aware of special deals and showed me what I was looking for. He also was super responsive on giving me the best deal available and responding to my calls even after I left. I had a great experience and would definitely shop there again.

Our order was canceled by a store “manager” who was extremely unprofessional. His behavior toward my wife and myself was shocking and unacceptable. There were at least 4 employees who witnessed the manager's offensive and hostile behavior including waving his hands as he yelled at my wife to be quiet. This was done because my wife had a question on the delivery charge added to the order. Our sales person Corey Adams went out of his way trying to accommodate our dining room selection to purchase. Unfortunately, the manager ruined it for him. He needs customer service ethics. This store manager needs to be fired.

I love the Ashley Store in OrlandPark, Illinois. Over a short period of time, I have purchased two leather sofas, 2 lamps, rugs and I purchased another 2 lamp tonight. Isaiah has assisted me many times and he also privided assistance with my purchase tonight. I also met another sales person named Curtis. Isaiah also introduced me to the manager of the Orland Park Store. This is a well furnished store where you can find the right furniture and accessories to model or upgrade your home.

DO NOT SHOP HERE AT ALL!! Terrible help at store managers and customer service! Jake as manager does not return calls and have not resolved my returns and credit issues. I’m billed for items I did not receive and was forced to cancel orders because they failed to mention everything in their store back ordered and can take a year to get. I have been dealing with Orland Park store problem since April 2021 and yet here again now having billing dispute with this store. Never will I shop or recommend this store to anyone. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! If anyone else has similar issues please let me know. I had enough from this place

UPDATE 9-15-2022 absolutely the worst experience ever I still have NOT got all my furniture. Its going on 7 months now. I've had a dresser mirror since March 2022 and still no hardware to install it BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE or you'll end up being lied to like they do to us.

I am updating my review because I am frustrated at the customer service who is in charge of updating my address. I have called 3 times to have them correct the SAME delivery address. They somehow are messing it up and everytime I get a confirmation the WRONG address is written on it. I even asked the customer service to repeat the address back to me to make sure that it is correct but it still somehow ended up wrong.

Fantastic buying experience with no pressure from our sales associate and general manager Starr. From the moment she introduced herself, up to signing paperwork, Starr and her team were nothing but professional and fully engaged in making sure we were happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back in the future and will definitely recommend our family and friends. Thanks again and keep up the great customer service!

Worst Ashley furniture I’ve ever been to they have canceled my orders due there mess up with paperwork the women in there have no customer service the manager Star is extremely rude. I’ve been going here for years and never experienced this. They have changed managers 3 times in 2 months I’m at a lost 😡

Ordered 4 pieces of furniture in August with an expected delivery date of November and December. In November I called one a week and each week it stated the pieces were not ready to be scheduled for delivery and the time frame got longer and longer. Now when I call the automated system says 16-18 weeks. After many attempts to get someone on hold I was told one of the pieces would be ready to be scheduled by December 9. That date came and went so I called again. Now they said one piece on December 17, two in January and one in March. I explained how the dates keep being pushed back and questioned the rep if the one piece would really be ready by the 17 and she legitimately told me no it’s still in production. So in one breath she said by the 17 and when I pressed the issue a little more that statement was a flat out lie. I was told since they are at fault for the delays I could cancel and receive a full refund. After taking a day to think about it I called back and they claimed they would, “put in a request” and someone from the store would call me that day or the next. It’s now been 4 days, no call and no one answers the phone at store. We also purchased a dining room table here it’s less than a year old and already falling apart and wobbly. Never again will I spend my hard earned dollars with this company and I will make sure everyone I know gets pointed in a different direction as well.

Oh, my goodness! The sales rep was attentive from the time I walked into the store! He made suggestions for what I was looking for, and then accommodated me when I insisted that I did not want to wait six weeks for the pieces to come in. He checked his warehouse and discovered that they had some in stock. I was so excited! I can have my furniture in less than a week! The service was amazing! I was in and out of the store within 30 minutes—- AND happy as a lark! I recommend this store to anyone who is looking for good quality furniture, excellent service, and a good shopping experience .

Made a purchase in June as a wedding gift for my son & daughter-in-law still to this day still waiting for delivery. They keep giving false delivery dates and they no follow-up call as to why the delivery didn't happen!!!!

I have made two separate purchases from this location it’s the sales representatives that keep me coming back, JB was my sales associate each time. Everyone is friendly and seem to genuinely want to help. The furniture is not cheap and it takes a little while to get the furniture but the quality makes it so worthwhile. Even when I wasn’t ready to buy something right then, they weren’t dismissive of me. I definitely recommend this location but just to manage expectations, because of COVID, add an extra month to your estimated delivery lol

I ordered a couch in September : paying cash . They told me my couch would b delivered by thanksgiving and I call today and they say another 4-6 weeks .. hopefully b4 Christmas. Not only that I’m on hold over an hour just to speak to someone at the store . Poor , ridiculous customer service . Then when an agent picks up he don’t want to let me speak to the store manager .

Emanuel (sales rep) and JB (the manager) were extremely helpful. They did everything in their power to make sure I got the best deal and were taken care of. No stone was unturned and no question was unanswered. I was finally able to completely furnish my bedroom and living room at an affordable price. As a college student on a limited income, I couldn’t be any happier. Thank you !!

This was our second time purchasing furniture from Ashley Homestore and the experience was nothing short of amazing. We bought a bedroom set, living room set, and dining room set on our previous visit, and were so impressed; we already knew we would be coming back for our other bedroom. We purchased a master bedroom King set on this round which we are waiting for delivery on. The woman who helped us out was great. Thanks Kolisha for all your help! We will definitely be returning for our future furniture needs, and will be recommending this store to anyone in need of furniture.

One thing with shopping at any retail store I sometimes do not want to be followed by a sales associate. If I have a question I'll ask especially after say we are just browsing. That is exactly how it was. An associate greeted us and told us their promotions and let us shop around until we were ready to purchase. Our sales associate was helpful as well and got us their best deal possible.

The customer service number is terrible, the delivery times are not accurate also only received half my bed. And all they could do was give me $11 back for the inconvenience. I Would not recommend to anyone.

11/15 Edit: so I contacted the number below. It's for orders--doesn't have anything to do with customer service. I emailed the address below. The literal reply: "So sorry. I'll forward this to the management." No invitation to come back. Nothing. Why even reply if you don't intend to fix your customer service issues? Bad customer service experience start to finish. Booked an appointment. When I walked in, no one acknowledged me. Salesperson didn't even look up to say, "Hi, someone will be with you soon." After making eye contact and waving, a salesperson came over and said they were short staffed and asked us to wait 10 minutes. I mentioned that I'd booked my appointment with the gift card promotion. He said they'd have info and walked away. We looked around and 15 minutes later, no help. I caught another salesperson and asked about appointment and information on promotion. He talked to another salesperson, handeded me a sheet on the reward card and walked away. We decided to walk the store and see what we could find ourselves. 30 minutes later, a salesperson asked us what we were looking for. I was specific, gave him dimensions and a description of the pieces. His response, "I've only been here 6 weeks and don't really know where things are, but you can look on the floor." Was ready to go at that point, as it was very clear they didn't want our business. On the way out, we saw a couple of salespeople just chatting by the register. We stopped to ask a question about a particular piece. He answered, but it was almost like he couldn't be bothered to look up from his computer. We left and went right across the street to Darvin.

Let me start off by saying the sales associates at the orland Park store are friendly and this review has nothing to do with them. I am beyond disappointed with my recent to experience and will no longer buy from Ashley Furniture. In July I went to buy living room furniture. Once I found what I liked I inquired about a time frame. Said good news everything was available except the ottoman and will be delivered by August 31st. I left happy! August came and went and I heard nothing. So I called and was told it was pushed to the beginning of October. Now normally I wouldn’t be irritated but I was bc between July and august I received no updates. I had to call to get any information. In the meantime I also purchased bedroom furniture for my daughter. Was told will be here in November. I decided to call every week on both orders. Every week I got a new estimated delivery. Everyone I talked to had a different date for me. I decided to call twice in one day and got a delivery date of February 2022 for my daughters furniture snd then November 6th 2021 for her furniture IN THE SAME DAY! This leads me to believe no one knows what they are doing. I’m so disappointed in the lack of communication throughout this process. They take your money and you are left in the dark unless you call relentlessly which even that does not help. My living room furniture is still not here and I called again today and I got a new date of November 12th. We shall see if I get anything by Christmas. I ended up canceling the bedroom furniture. I’m done with the inconsistency and no communication. For a company that has been around for a long time they don’t know how to keep lines of communication open via even email like other companies do. Overall I just feel defeated by this whole process.

I've been purchasing items from Ashley's for some time now. I have always had wonderful customer service experiences. Never have I felt pressured or dissatisfied with any item. Beyond great quality.

Walked in ready to purchase several items. No acknowledgement from 4 staff members. Asked for help as one rep appeared to be free. No hello. Nothing Waited 20 mins and left. Even if you are busy, you can acknowledge a customer. Thats ok. Quality seems to have gone down on the sofas anyway. Will take my business elsewhere.

First of all, I am a firm believer on greeting people, no matter WHO or WHERE and Joe from the Orland Park store did just that. His presence was warm and he appeared to be mentally available for us as a customer without judging our pockets. Little did he know that we were first time home buyers and newly weds. He also didn't know that we were cash buyers. He treated us like people. He was very knowledgeable about the products we asked about and he also was comfortable about giving us his background in sales. We are not a younger couple and sometimes younger salesman tend to not understand our needs instead they want to sale us things we do not need. My wife told Joe that we both had bad knees and backs so he automatically took us to the mattress of our dreams to fit both of our needs. We then explained to him that our bed we are giving up is to high now that we have aged so he showed us a bedroom set that sits low enough for us to get in and out of and not to flashy but not cheap. We LOVED everything he showed us even the pillows, so we bought it all. He really helped us out as we move in our first home in 3 weeks. I am definitely coming back for more things he showed us. My stance with Joe is "Happy wife equals a happy life " and he made my wife very happy and I'd pay anything to keep her happy.

Isaiah at the Orland Park location was great! Didn't pressure me to buy anything, just told me about the current promotion going on and only asked if I needed help a couple times. That is exactly what I want when I walk into a furniture place, no pressure at all! He told me he has been there for only a couple weeks, seemed like he has been there for awhile with the professionalism he showed. Thank you Isaiah again, you got a good one there!

We placed our $5,500+ order worth of furniture for our new home back in early May 2021. Our order was financed and we were told we would receive the credit card in the mail a few weeks after placing the order. The credit card never came, so I called the finance company to have a new one sent. The finance company said they would send a new card and close the old account. It sounded like everything was good to go; now it was just time to wait for our furniture to be ready. After calling customer service several times to check on our order, we finally had a delivery appointment set up for Sept 29th. After 5 months of waiting, we were very excited for our furniture to arrive. My fiancé made arrangements to come home from his business trip early to be at our house to accept the furniture delivery. Ashley HomeStore was supposed to call/ text us the day before to confirm the delivery time. The day before, my fiancé received a text from Ashley saying our furniture was on back order, no delivery could be made. What?! That didn’t make any sense because I had been calling Customer Service every few weeks to check on the status of the order. Here I go back on the phone again to see what is wrong with my account. The call center said they were unable to help and I needed to go the store where I purchased the furniture for help. Frustrated, I head to the store for answers. It turns out that the finance company never closed the original line of credit on my order. The manager spent a considerable time on the phone with the credit company trying to resolve this issue. To make a very long story somewhat shorter, I spent the next few weeks at Ashley HomeStore trying to resolve this issue. The managers, Jake, DeShaun, and Santago all separately tried calling the finance company to remove the hold. Each time, they told me the issue was fixed. (It wasn’t) Finally, the regional manager, Bridget got on the phone with the finance company, confident that she could get them to remove the hold. I waited there for 2 hours while she was on the phone and still no resolution. She said Santago would call me once they got the hold removed. ( a week passed and no one called.) My fiancé and I went to the store to check on the status. Apparently the hold had been removed and we could start scheduling delivery. No one bothered to let us know. Given the situation, DeShawn said he would try to expedite our furniture to get everything delivered ASAP. He was only able to schedule a delivery for 1 love seat for early November. The rest of our furniture will not be ready until January 2022. I honestly question if the furniture will ever be delivered at this point. Needless to say I will never be ordering for Ashley again. Their poor communication and lack of follow through does not make me feel like a valued customer. Even through all of this, the management made little effort to make the experience “right” for me as the customer.

Pleasant experience and David was such a great help! Fair pricing complimented by their competitive sale offerings. Good quality pieces through out the store.

Lola from the Orland Park store took care of us, and she was amazing! She explained everything and had an answer already waiting for any questions we had, she was very detailed in the way she gave her responses and had no issue repeating something if me or my wife couldn’t understand, not to mention me and my wife where going back and forth with what we wanted and she had so much patience with us. We appreciate it! Honestly, a great review comes down to customer service and both me and my wife agreed that it was an outstanding experience, Would shop there again 👍🏻👍🏻

Unfortunately I will not be returning to Ashley furniture. So far over the course of 4 orders, I have had good customer service BUYING the furniture but forget about when its supposed to be delivered. The most recent experience has been similar to the first in that they cancel deliveries without calls and cancel reschedules. Starting, they call you to set up delivery and when that delivery date comes.,They no call no show! YOU then have to call them to see what happened. I did this however they say they have no record of any such delivery and that I couldn't have possibly set up a date. Since I wasn't getting any help, went to the physical AHS where I purchased other pieces to ask what was going on and behold, the in person sales rep said that the customer service rep that I had talked to on the phone LIED about my delivery not being on record and that not only was my furniture on the truck set for delivery but someone made them take it back off and into the warehouse cancelling my delivery. On top of this the customer service rep that lied also put notes into their system labeling me as EXTREMELY RUDE after I had called asking what was going on with nobody showing up or calling when I asked how can we make everything back on track and her gaslighting me saying no appointment could have ever been made adding to this my in person sales rep showed me that the call center rep had put our expected delivery date to almost a YEAR later!!! Just to spite! Your in house crew great! Your phone reps teach them to do better!

The sales person a very nice man, was very professional, yet personal, engaging and showed a true interest in helping to find what I was looking to purchase. Few years ago I spent about $6,500 on a brand new dining set. I was so pleased. So I continued to do business with them. But today, I'm ending my relationship with them. We bought a dresser and bed for my son. Because of COVID it took 7 months for us to get the furniture. 2 weeks they delivered a bed set with broken rails. Today, the brought the parts of the bed, with the wrong screws. Now my son is waiting again, after he has been sleeping on the floor in his room He is really sad about all if the waiting. Do not waste your time with these folks. There is no sense of urgency. There's a lot of sorry with no.one doing anything to exceed our expectations! The worst!

This was the first time in an Ashley Store and I have to say is was a very pleasurable experience. They don’t follow you around like other stores but are always available if you need someone. We were fortunate enough to get Martin E. who was extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed doing business with him. He wasn’t pushy and couldn’t do enough for us. I will definitely be back when I need any more furniture and will be asking for Martin.

After visiting 3 other furniture stores we were so excited that we found a new living room set. From the second we walked in we found employees to be very unenthusiastic. I made our purchase that took an hour to finalize. Very long process that easily could have been handled in a more timely manner. After wanting to make a change to our order the next day after the purchase I tried calling the store, salesperson and his boss, not a single person returned a phone call, email and I could not get through for 7 days. Finally had to drive to the store to get my matter handled.

I was not that impressed by their kitchen table selections. However, they did have nice sofas to choose from.

I had (and always have) an exceptional customer service experience at this particular Ashely Furniture. I’ve had a terrible and degrading experience at the Ashley Furniture in the South Loop and vowed to never step foot in there again. The owner of that store treated me with extreme contempt and disrespect and it was very upsetting. But enough about that location. This location in Orland is the exact opposite, every time I visit. I am the type of customer that really takes her time with purchases like furniture and therefore require a certain level of patience and customer service to get through my buying process. Martin Esparza provided just that. He’s polite, personable but not overly pushy and “salesman-y”. I recognize there’s a level of salesmanship needed but I much prefer being treated like a person and not just a sale. I finally settled on one of maybe three furniture purchases I plan to make over the next 6 months and he was helpful and polite per usual. He didn’t necessarily remember working with me last year bc I never ended up completing the sale last year, and that was ok with me bc it gave me a chance to see that his overall rapport with his customers is consistent based on his own customer service values and not based on him recognizing my face and trying to finally land a sale. That means a lot. I will be choosing this location over any other Ashely for any future furniture needs.

Found a beautiful table and chairs, was able to get the Labor Day sale. Was originally told that it would be 8-10 weeks for delivery and was shocked to find out that the table will be delivered in 10 days! :) very excited!

This location is “independently owned” and not under the other location! BE AWARE when buying from them. It is a headache and this place is a joke! Awful customer service, sales reps are liars, delivery team is unprofessional, customer service is no help! There is no penalty for people dropping the ball! There isn’t a number to reach management to file a complaint. I was charged a restocking fee and a delivery fee for items I didn’t even see that were on back order and still is on back order! I was penalized because I have been waiting since June 30th and I cancelled two items off of my order so that I can receive the rest of the items. The delivery drivers lied and said they’ve been sitting outside and drove off with my furniture while I was literally screaming asking them to stop the truck so I can get my items that I’ve been waiting for since June! I have been waiting on a manager to call me back for 3 weeks! This whole company screws you around from the sales rep all the way to customer service!

If I could give it a zero I would! Never will I walk into a ashley furniture store. I advise you to do the same worst company ever. Unprofessional ,save yourself the hassle and the headache of trying to get what you really ordered unbelievable!

This is ridiculous first this location has us wait 2 MONTHS for our couches and dining set. One because they weren’t in stock then because the kitchen table got damaged. I called to cancel then a miracle they had everything in stock. But we didn’t even get the kitchen table we wanted. Ours included a bench plus four chairs. Apparently you have to choose between just the chair or with the bench as well which we were NEVER told. Till this day we are getting the run around from this location and the salesperson. If you want to get the run around and wait months for your product and not be told things clearly then I guess this place is for you. Save your money, save your credit

My brother, mom and I bought mattresses 3 months ago. My mom got hers, but my brother and I have not. Every time we call to ask when the mattresses would be delivered they give us a date and by the time the date rolls around, it doesn't arrive. We call again and get a different date and it still doesn't arrive. If I could I would give ashley furniture zero stars. I would like the mattresses to arrive soon if not then I'm going to ask for a refund and go somewhere else.

Katie was a fantastic help with my Fiancé and I choosing the right couch to fit our needs. Great selection, at reasonable prices, and an absolutely wonderful financing option. There were many other pieces we were considering but ultimately decided to wait on. But we know right where we will be coming to finish furnishing our new home, with the wonderful assistance from Katie.

This is the worst place to shop. My mom was given a delivery date back in May. A personnel from Ashley Home store reached out to her to inform her the cutler was on back order & it wouldn’t make it until June. June came & the piece was still on back order. July 3rd they contacted her & informed her that the piece would be there. The delivery date was scheduled for today August 10, 2021. 15 mins prior to delivery they called to tell her they didn’t have the cutler. She instructed them to bring what they had but when they arrived they didn’t even have the correct furniture. This has been the worst experience of a lifetime. Very inconvenient. I wouldn’t recommend doing business with these lousy folks.

My boyfriend and I had been looking for a couch for some time and everything is so backed up and over priced, it was a little discouraging. We decided to go to Ashley home store to look around and we were able to find something in our price range, comfortable, and we didn’t have to wait until the holiday season to get it either. Jim Castro helped us out with the process and was very kind. We will definitely be back!

Ashley Homestore customer service is absolutely pathetic. We bought a recliner from them in April and were told it would be delivered in early June. The delivery date came and passed and no one called us so we called them and were told our chair was damaged and that the new delivery would be expedited and was to be delivered July 9th....ok fine, but then that day came and no one called so we called again and we were told they would put a ticket in and expedite delivery and would arrive July 24th, now that day has passed....now we call again and are told august 9th and that no tickets have been put in....would never buy from them again for lack of communication and also extremely poor follow up and sticking to their word. I can be reasonable but a 2 month delay on top of 2 months orginally is unacceptable.

We loved the living room set the moment we saw it. We went around to multiple stores and kept coming back to it. It was unfortunate that the salesclerk we were working with wasn’t there when we purchased it because the new salesclerk working with us did not apply the discount and tried charging us more. Once we made her aware of it, she immediately changed it. Overall, good experience, however.

I really love this store. People are helpfull without being pushy, and they sell a great product, which I'm told is made here in the states. Both James and Katie are fun to work with Update 11/202021 well I wrote this too soon. Promised furniture end of Oct. If lucky I will receive 12/03. I know about supply issues but no one keeps you updated. After spending close to 10 000 I canceled bedroom set yesterday. They did a partial delivery in Oct without alerting me until it came off the truck. Chest slightly damaged with a dead cockroach in one drawer. I called about another order I made, that they changed the date on, and I asked about the rest of the bedroom set and I was told March! My issue is non communication with customer, told them to come and get the bedroom pieces I had and return my money! I will Not shop there again!

This business does not even deserve 1 star. Our experience with Ashley Home store was the worst experience we've ever had making a big purchase and I regret purchasing furniture from them. We ordered a lounge chair to go with a couch we purchased and they delivered the same chair twice. It was not the chair we had picked out. Our salesman used the wrong item number for a chair that wasn't even on display in their store. They were unable to compensate us for this other than waiving the cancellation fee after we cancelled the order. Trying to speak with the correct person with this issue was also a hassle. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere for furniture purchases.

Don’t trust!!! This store really screw up the customers with price. I ordered the recliner from Orland Park store. The guy charged me more for protection plan. Actual cost of sofa is 3500$, but the guy charged me the protection plan for 10,000$. Protection plan- For 3500$ value- Furniture $349.99 But they charged me- $749.99 First do some research before you buy anything at this store. Don’t trust them at all. We had a very pleasant experience shopping for a new mattress and bedroom set. Martin was very helpful and energetic.

I ordered tables from the Orland location in May. The man told me it's gonna be a 3-4 weeks estimate maybe sooner. I called 1st week of June the 866 # and was told mid July and when I insisted that was too long and would like to get refunded the lady told me that I needed to pay a 20% restocking fee, I said why should I have to do that who waits 2-3 months for tables? I want a manager please, she said well call the store directly and hung up on me!! In awe, because I wasn't rude or disrespectful, I called local store and never got anyone! Here today at the local store because they had emailed saying they would be delivering my stuff on June 6th, they never showed. I called and was told by a gentleman it was in error but they do have the tables and could deliver Saturday June 10th. I said great I'll be off work he said between 8:30-11:30am. Did they arrive? NO!! I called and would be on hold listening to their advertisement then it eventually rings. Then....dead air!! This happens several times until the last time I held listening to dead air for 30 minutes waiting on local store!! I'm over Ashley Furniture don't waste your TIME!!

Worst place to shop at. Bed came scratched and cracked... rejected delivery. Called store... delivery was suppose to be waved and a new bed would be sent in two weeks. Delivery was never waved and two weeks later I'm still sleeping on a air mattress. They will refunded my money but it takes 7-10 business days to issue a check and now I have to start the process all over on ordering a bedroom set. Unprofessional!

Amal seemed very nice via phone offering to order a couch for me that was sold out online. She stated that if I came in store she could place my order, after giving her specific about what I wanted. Fast forward I get to the store and she’s showing me everything under the sun but what I asked for. When it finally came to my purchase she goes “ it’s sold out”. Typical salesman BS. I loaded up the kids on my off day only to be apart of her pun!! I don’t appreciate my time being wasted.

The actual shopping experience was satisfactory. Jorian Harris, our sales rep, was polite, professional, and did not hound us. He was able to direct me to the exact item I wanted. The major problem and hassle, came when it was time to check out. The receipt they provided did not match the price I was told I was paying. In fact, it was $100 more than the agreed upon price. A $99.99 protection plan was included (I didn't want it) and the $100 coupon I provided was not taken off the price.. When I asked for an accurate statement, I was told the prices will be adjusted at a later date. I said I was not comfortable signing anything that was not accurate...especially when the incorrect information was not in my favor. Time and time again I was told "it will work out in the end". This is a completely unprofessional way to conduct business. The customer should get an ACCURATE and detailed receipt...not a "trust us" statement.

Go see my guy Jim. He was helpful and showed much patience. Found some cute kitchen tables at a reasonable price and great Quality.

Jaycee was the greatest sales person I've ever encountered. She was knowledgeable, professional, creative coordinating my choices. She was not the least bit pushy and patiently worked with my husband and I with our differences over which items we each liked. She was very considerate and made sure I didn’t personally carry some of my items to the car snd she took it upon herself to carry them with a coworker to my car and set up a delivery schedule for large items Best of all she was fun to work with and gave me every discount she could apply. My overall experience was delightful and I’d request her again if i was awarded a store gift certificate Good job Jaycee!

I enjoyed my shopping experience at Ashley Furniture. Our salesperson Andrew gave us good information and knew when to let us shop on our own and when to check on us so we could ask questions. He is what I call an excellent salesperson. The Furniture was good quality and the prices were comparable. I will be purchasing more from this store in the future.
