We purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture on 11/25/2025. We arrived and were greeted by sales team member/manager Mason. After discussing what we were looking for (a recliner sofa) he stated he had an extra one in stock for us that we could take home that day ourselves. We paid, and went back home to trade out my SUV for my boyfriend's pickup truck and he went to get it. On pickup arrival, the couch was wrapped and ready and was brought home. Upon opening the couch in our living room we immediately noticed pizza sauce smeared inside the cup holders, glitter, scratches, stitching unraveled, and pet hair- obviously we were sold a USED couch. As any customer would we called in immediately to inform the Peru IL store. They said they would give us a call back that day which they failed to do. Next day we get a text message offering that WE bring the couch in and they will fix the stitching. We declined, and requested we get a new couch. After calling and getting the run around (we were told they were busy and couldn't speak at the moment) my boyfriend decided to drive there and speak in person (hour round trip) and when he arrived there were maybe 3 cars there and our sales team member was standing at the desk - obviously not busy just avoiding the issue it seemed. After a long talk and phone call they admitted that they gave us a floor model/possible return couch. We paid for a NEW COUCH. We requested that they get a brand new couch delivered to our home and take the used couch they gave us. They told us no, and that we had to bring the old couch in and get the new one. (Mind you I'm 6 days out from knee surgery and my boyfriend already did the unloading himself with the first mistake couch and they knew that). As a company and customer service, I'd be ashamed of myself. As a resolution, we want this mistake fixed and our new couch delivered which is a very reasonable request as Ashley Furniture should be accountable. Otherwise, a full refund after this whole mess.

If you hate sales guys, then Tony is the guy for you. I think he hates them too. He was very friendly and considerate with how we felt. Seeing how uncomfortable we were on some mattresses then having us get up to find the perfect match. He has really good input and is super down to earth. I wish I could have Tony sell me anything I want. He can reason with you and tell you that maybe some things just aren’t worth it. He is very driven, and absolutely loves his job. WE LOVED TONY!

Taking stuff out of your home is extremely expensive so I will not get a couch here because to take it out it will be about $260 so you lost a customer there but I did get a dining room table which we will enjoy they're not taking me all the way because it costs too much but we can break it up and put it in the garbage

I went in looking for a very specific dining room set for my new home. I wanted to sit in the chair to confirm it was comfortable and see the color in person. Eve showed me exactly what I wanted to see. Despite my showing up near closing time, Eve was very accomodating. Thanks to her, I had my dining set ordered within a half hour.

Mason was a great help with picking out the right pieces of furniture. He was very transparent with the quality of each piece and delivery wait time, but it came a lot earlier than anticipated. He is very friendly as well and everyone was helpful with loading the furniture into the vehicle.

I had been looking for a table for several weeks and finally found one online at Ashley Furniture. I drove about 40 minutes thinking it was a warehouse. They had the table and chairs but usually you have to have it delivered. I souk a lot so I'm literally hardly ever home and needed a table. Mason was able to get approval for me to take it and helped me load it. That's the service I remember and there was no high pressure. Plus, Ashley Furniture has some very nice merchandise. I'll be back! Any doubts you might have about shipping there, lose them. This was my first experience. It won't be my last. Thank you!

The sales staff was beyond great!! The young lady who initially started with us still had a customer she was working with and immediately referred us to someone else, who happened to be the manager. He didn’t miss a beat!! He was able to match our table (from a picture) with a great set of chairs and was even able to apply a veteran discount. We are scheduled to receive the chairs on the 11th. It’ll be really nice to see how they work together with the table.

Mason from the store in Peru went way above anything you could ask from a sales representative. Not only did we get what we wanted at the end of the night, he also stayed 2 hours after closing to make sure the sale was handled as discussed. That team is incredible. Gold stars across the board.

Been over a year and still waiting on hardware. Paid to have it installed and ended up getting the wrong hardware and never got reimbursed for the payment to have them install it and still have never received the hardware. Called multiple times, got threatened, got made fun of based on the assumption I was poor by Jamie, just relentlessly passed off and now its been over a year and I still dont have what I paid for.

They had exactly what I was looking for and at a very good price. This is a wonderful store in which to shop. We received help from Wade who did not apply any pressure to our decision-making but was just hopeful that he would have what we were looking for. My husband also found a fabulous, classy table/stand for our TV at an amzing price!!. We are excited about the quality and comfort we found at this store with the terrific help of the friendly furniture experts who helped us find just what we were looking for. I absolutely know it’s not the staffs fault for how long it takes an item to come in, the staff was great to work with and they kept me informed with whatever info they knew. Ashley furniture could do a better job at giving more accurate dates for items, I would’ve bought the chair somewhere else if I knew it was going to take that long

Shopping at Ashley Furniture in Peru, Il has been such a great experience. Mason worked with us almost daily for a good week or 2. We were very undecided on a few pieces. While we visited a few Ashley stores to see options in person, Mason was the one who helped us make our final decisions. From measurements to prices to availability he was very informative. I would give Ashley a 9/10 only because I have to wait a Couple weeks for my items. I would give Mason a 10/10 for his impeccable knowledge and dedication to making sure his customers were satisfied. Would return, in fact I’m already eyeing something even though we already purchased bedroom, dining and living room furniture. Their prices were great also and we got some Great deals. My family and I visited the store and Mason helped us, he was very kind and helpful, all the employees were so kind! There was some misunderstanding about a credit card I was going to use for the purchase of new furniture, and it was my fault for not showing them up front what credit card I was planning to use for the purchase and I felt terrible about the whole situation and we ended up not making the purchase but Mason and his employees that helped us were very kind and understanding. Definitely will plan on going back to make future purchases.

We recently visited the Ashley Furniture store in search of a new couch, and we had a fantastic experience. We were greeted by Mason, who immediately made us feel welcome. I had done some research beforehand and mentioned that we were interested in the Larce sectional with performance fabric. Mason took us straight to it, answered all our questions, and even helped us measure to ensure it would fit our space. He went above and beyond by rearranging pieces of the sectional so we could visualize different configurations, which was incredibly helpful. What really sealed the deal for us was when he demonstrated the fabric's durability by pouring ketchup and mustard on a swatch to show how easily it cleaned up, impressive and exactly what we were looking for! Mason gave us space to discuss our options without hovering, which we appreciated. He was professional, friendly, and never pushy, making the entire purchasing process smooth and enjoyable. Went in a few weeks ago and feel in love with the Larce sectional Tony helped us we came back a few days ago and Tony was a great sales person and helped us get the sofa we wanted very friendly and helpful thank you

Tony was great! He listened to what I was looking for and made recommendations based on what I wanted.

We went into the store to look for bookshelves, and it must have been a slow day. At least 5 employees were sitting around up front and one of them pounced on us the second we walked in the door. Nate was too much the "intense used car salesman" and it rubbed us the wrong way immediately. There were no bookshelves in the store so we decided to leave pretty quickly. Nate asked if he could give us his card in case we were interested in something else, so we said sure, why not. He then gets out a tablet and asks us for our names, emails, and phone numbers. We didn't provide that information and asked "But do you have a card?" And the salesman said "Well no..." Why offer to give us your card when you don't even have one? We didn't want to sign up for a bunch of promotional email and text messages. The store is beautiful but we couldn't wait to get out of there.

We went into the store just to look and fell in love with our now sofa and loveseat. If you need a good salesman, who will fight for you and get you the best deal, request Tony! He worked with us and got us a great deal and explained everything so we could actually understand all the sales lingo. It helps that the couch is stain resistant and super easy to put together too, even our dog loves it!

Brandi followed up every week with updates on my couch and mattress from there Tony has been diligently working on my new bed frame and dresser to make sure it made it straight from production (real mango wood) to my doorstep. I have to change my review since receiving my furniture.The people in store are very helpful. Once I received my furniture customer service isn’t great. Realized after the delivery people left that hardware to install the shelves on my book shelf was missing. Customer service ordered the parts but I was told it may be a few days or a few weeks to receive the hardware. They can’t give you any kind of time frame on when the parts will be received.

The service was great! Very helpful when we had questions and needed it, but allowed to shop and look on our own. Was an easy and friendly shopping experience

We went there to look at couches, mainly a sectional because we saw a new one on Ashley’s website. It was near closing time, so we weren’t sure if we’d be buying anything or not, but we talked to Wesley, even though it was close to closing time he still went, got prices to compare theirs to Ashely’s online store, and he beat their price. Not only was he and the other staff knowledgeable but also friendly. On top of that they are genuine people, they don’t just try to sell you because it’s their job(I mean it is) but they inform you about your purchase, so you can make the best decision for you and not just selling the most expensive item to you. Their protection plan too is great since it’s in house, so you don’t have to deal with all the waiting and not knowing when the fix is coming. Overall I’d definitely recommend coming here, 5/5 10/10. Wesley and everyone else are awesome.

I had a very pleasant experience and ended up buying a beautiful living room set.

Bought a couch from the floor (with an extended warranty) and did not get explained to that it voids the mfg warranty. When driving home from picking up the couch, got a call that they did not give me the power cord. Got the power cord a week later, plugged it in and none of the 3 recliners worked. Tried to call and text my “salesman” and received nothing back so finally got a hold of the store which they made me file a warranty claim which took multiple days to be pushed through and finally got a call back in which they then told me that they would not send someone out to look at it because it was not delivered, they told me i needed to bring the couch back to their store to “look” at it. Instead their solution was to send me new parts that they “think” is the problem. Been 3 weeks after paying over 3k for the couch and 2 recliners do not work and 1 is stuck open. Very disappointed.

Wesley and Tony were great Tony explained everything in the different style of beds he also had one of the beds in a position that my pain went away I tried trading the wife dogs and my wallet for the bed we are also looking at couches and sofa and Wesley helped us as well showing us different couches and sofas really explaining the differences of each one they were both really patient with us these two really but my faith back into Ashley home stores because we had a horrible experience at a Ashley home store in Mississippi But Wesley and tony really are Rockstars and definitely will be buying furniture from them and will be telling friends and family to visit this store

Amy was very friendly and helpful. She greeted us shortly after walking in and let us know she would be happy to help us if needed. She left us to shop without repeatedly checking in. I love this. Too often sales people check in to the point of annoyance. When we did need her help she was right there. The transaction was made smoothly and she was perfectly accommodating when helping us get our chair home. I was very pleased with our service.

I bought a mattress, foundation, headboard & footboard, & 2 mattress pad covers from Ashley for my sister in Illinois. They were delivered & setup yesterday. The delivery guys did a wonderful job & were very friendly. Katrina, our salesperson & one of the managers at Ashley, was absolutely amazing! She helped me pick out the mattress & foundation; and assured me of the quality of the headboard & footboard I picked out. I'm in Texas, so this was all done over the phone. My sister is older and has several health issues. She wasn't able to put the mattress pad covers onto the mattress & foundation. Katrina jumped to the rescue, drove about 10 minutes to my sister's place, and put the mattress pads on for her! Truly a life saver and this was definitely above & beyond customer service!!! I highly recommend Ashley furniture for all of your furniture needs! Such a great experience!

I went to Ashley outlet with the measurements I had for a couch. They didn’t have a sectional that would fit my space. Tony searched the store and system for something that would work. We ended up going with Ashley’s version of the love sack couch that would work for my weird layout living room. I work m-f and my hours fell outside their delivery times. They made an exception and allowed a Saturday delivery. Jerry and coworker delivered my couch and were very gentle bringing it in. They put the feet on and set it up for me. They even took my old couch to the curb for me which was a lifesaver and above and beyond. Great experience.

OMG!! This place doesn’t deserve a STAR! I had ordered a mattress and frame on Feb.27th, said it wasn’t gonna be here till April 13th. Went back in there 5 days later to cancel my order (March 3rd), they wanted $900 to cancel, they said it was on the truck coming this way! Guess what! I didn’t and wasn’t going to pay that! I get a call yesterday saying it wasn’t coming till May 11th now! lol! I had wrote a comment on their Peru Outlet Page on Facebook and they blocked me🤣🤣 Amy your fake and Katrina you have no clue what your talking about for being a manager, and Justin you tried to pull one over my head, nice try though! As of today I don’t have to deal with these fake people and their lies! My order is Cancelled! P.S. tell the Mexican kid that works there to go work with his brother at Mattress Firm! This place doesn’t even deserve one star. Liars from the start and terrible experience all the way around. Two months later for delivery just for the guys to claim it won’t fit and not even try. After that experience I did not want store credit. They refused to do anything to handle the situation and kept directing me to another store who would not talk. Terrible people there: Jerry, Ashley, Kate, Katrina, and Amy. That’s who we dealt with. Refused to give corporate number to find a solution to help their customers. Oh and over a week later they have yet to refund my couch they refused to put in my home.. even with the 30% fee they have yet to refund it. Please save yourself the heartbreak!

Paid for assembly due to being an hour away. We just moved to Illinois so we wanted to have our furniture assembled and ready for the new home but when we arrived to pick up, the furniture was still boxed. Mistakes happened and a refund was issued for the assembly charge but we rented a trailer and blankets due to the fact it would be much larger assembled. Unassembled, we could have just put the box in our vehicle. Very frustrating.
