Logan was our sales representative and he was absolutely AMAZING!! He know all about the lift chairs that we were test driving. Logan is very personable and just great to talk with. He took his time with us and never once rushed us to make a decision on which lift chairs we liked. He gave us a GREAT deal. Logan was just AMAZING. I spent a lot of money on a sofa/love seat set and originally asked if could pick it up with a truck and trailor. I was told i wouldnt want to do that because if I damaged anything during the move, I would be respnsible for that. So I paid the delivery fee of $250. When the couch was delivered, the delivery guys damaged my door frame and pulled the screws out of one of the hinges on the door. I did not realize this until after they left. They left my door open, so when i realized that, i went to close it and it wouldnt close. I was able to re-install the hinge and the door now closes but the frame still has knicks in it. I completed the survey that was texted to me and i was contacted by someone through that advising me Ashley Furniture is not liable for damages during delivery because its a 3rd party delivery service, so they said i had to speak with the delivery company, even though Ashley Furniture hired them. I spoke to the dekivery company and they originally offered me $200. That was 5 days ago. I politely sent a counter offer 4 days ago. No response. I sent another email over 24 hours ago and still no response. This store should be hiring better delivery companies and not making the customer deal with the property damage claim when I wasnt the one who hired the company

Had a great experience here buying a couch. Josh was extremely helpful and friendly, while also not pushy in the least. I'm very picky and he helped my husband and I with a variety of options. He gave us time alone to discuss things which was very nice. He also explained all of the pricing and costs and how they worked in a clear and friendly manner. Will definitely choose Ashley again in the future for more furniture needs!

horrible customer service. they overcharged me on a mattress when I told them my budget when shopping for a new mattress. they kept giving me the runaround and still will not correct the issue so now i’m stuck with a bill over 4k. never coming back here

Javier met us at the door, let us know what specials were in place at the time, and said he would check in with us. He checked in as we were looking, answered questions, helped with dimensions of furniture we were interested in and put together a competitive cost proposal. We made changes along the way via email and text over the next several days. Javier was quick to respond and met me early at the store to finalize the purchase.

When shopping for furniture I am looking for quality, price and sales people who are knowledgeable and are not pushy. Today I shopped at Ashley Furniture on State street in Rockford. I was very pleased to find exactly what I wanted in my price range. A young lady, Victoria, whose demeanor was friendly and pleasant helped me complete my purchase. Thanks Victoria for giving me time to look around today and helping me to complete the paperwork to have my new items delivered to my home. I look forward to shopping again at Ashley’s in Rockford.

The delivery chat bot is not only useless - it is non-responsive and bothersome. It plain and simple doesn’t work while constantly texting you.

My husband loved this couch we looked at 3 years ago so we decided he was due. We went to Slumberland 1st because they had an advertised sale. They did not have the couch we wanted on the floor, the salesman had a demeaning attitude and tried to upsell us and finally showed us a cheap couch that was completely inappropriate. We walked out and came to Ashley. We found the sectional we had wanted 3 years ago and because we wanted the lighter color, they will deliver on Thursday! Next time we will come here first.

I cannot even give it a one star. Worst experience in purchasing instore in my life. Horrible customer service. We’re only interested when I gave them 5000. After that they would never answer emails or calls. Everything was late. One item was 3 months later than when they originally told us the delivery date. Absolutely worst experience. I will never shop at Ashley furniture again!!!!

We bought a couch and love seat at Ashley’s in Rockford. The delivery people left before my wife was given time to review furniture. She found a shipping sticker that was left on the side of the couch. She removed it and found a one inch hole in the fabric. We call the store who could not help. We contacted customer service and they said the first step is to do a repair, before they would replace. We told them it was obviously damaged before it was delivered and someone cover it up. I requested multiple times for them to replace since it was delivered damaged and don’t understand why they are not backing up their product and dishonest conduct by their employees. This is very poor customer service and satisfaction!

We were held hostage from the time we walked in, by a salesman pushing a sell on us. When me and my fiance wanted a private minute to discuss outside of the store, the manager told us “go to the back of the store instead of the front” because the store “counts customers”. It felt like a tactic to avoid us leaving. When I said I’d be back another day, the sales man said “aren’t we closing the deal today?” Not only that but they continued to disregard me as far as price goes and speak only to my fiancé about costs.

Found what we needed. Sales person was very helpful. Delivery was on time and thanks to the regular delivery updates I was able to go about my day and be home to accept delivery.

We thought they were going out of business so stopped in for a deal or 2. We talked to Lillian and she took my wife on a tour while I sat on the couch by the front door. I broke my ankle and in a cast so walking is limited. She came up several times mentioning they have a wheelchair and willing to push me. Wife found something and here once again comes Lillian. Took me to a clearance sofa and I said nice but 2 other furniture stores within a 3 block radious. She said clearance furniture sell quick so don't wait to long. I'm a 58 year old man and a hard sell. She gave us her phone number and off we go. Turns out Ashley was the best deal. Called her, and she said she left but will call the manager on duty. Turned out they worked with us, and because of the great service and time spent, we actually had a great time shopping with no pressure. I know couches and furniture vary by quality, but the 2nd store we went to is known for low quality, but it's not everyday furniture. Turned out we actually spent less at Ashley's for a complete living room set the a couch and chair at the discount store. True we gave up a recliner but gained a lounger, a pop up top coffee table and a end table and saved $200 on a $1900 sale. We will be back when it time for the recroom in the fall.. it's time for all new furniture..

my experience was nice, the person who helped me was well experience, acknowledged, kind and patient. the only issue i had was pricing with my financing and i hope next time i go back i will get the appropriate amount that i qualify for. i did like my furniture and hope the quality is what i expected. i haven’t received it yet and the timing was great as well.

I purchased a mattress and bed frame on president's day and was told the price on the bed frame was half price for the holiday. They charged me full price for the frame and now won't return my phone calls. I advise you to go elsewhere to find a better deal and get better customer service. It's April 7th now and I've called and called Brendon several times to correct this issue and he has made no attempts to correct the pricing at all. I'm so glad I decided to wait on buying my sofa because now I know not to ever come here again. Don't get pulled in by these thugs with bow ties and clown makeup they will literally say anything to get your signatures and furniture out the door and charge you more later along the way. They claim they're delivery service is very professional but WRONG!!

Got a delivery yesterday was very disappointed with out come my head board on the top was scratched and the delivery guys that put together our bed put it on the wrong side of our bedroom after we told them what side to put on they scuffed up our kitchen floors we told the seller at the store selling us the bed that we needed our old bed to be taken away as well and they claimed it wasn't in the notes so now our old bed is sitting on the side of our house and my husband had to take it out himself and the delivery guys was in a rush the whole just to get it done and be gone never received a phone to let us know that they were going to be at our house and didn't get paper work saying that it was delivered

The staff is absolutely great. I received my furniture on 3/19/25. The sofa back seat cushion has some damage to the stitching about 3/4 across it. I have been dealing with Customer Care for a week now. Pictures, more pictures, emails, texts etc. I now am getting replacement parts, then have to call for a texh to come fix. I'm perplexed- tge back seat cushion is attached to the back of the sofa. So, I have to wait 2-4 weeks for parts, then 1-2 weeks for tech. It was delivered damaged, just send a new sofa. You delivered it damaged FIX the problem.

I went into the store and purchased two cadenza‘s. I also purchased two lamps. The Salesperson told me that they would be delivered with the credenza. I got a call from the delivery people for the date. They said that the lamps will not be delivered and I had to come pick them up When trying to reach anyone at the store. You can’t get anything but a recording next purchases for furniture will be elsewhere. Do not recommend.

Anna and Javier are wonderful! I had done everything online and just needed to finish the paperwork in store. They had trouble finding it so they had to start over. They ensured everything was exactly how I wanted it and still made that part easy in a very timely manner! All of my questions were answered and I walked out a happy customer! I'll be back 😀

The salesgirl that wound up helping me Ana, was great however when I walked in straight to the desk the 3 men literally ignored me. One was just on his phone . None of them made eye contact with me. I was there to make a purchase , she saw me from across the room and came over. You may want to re evaluate the people you hire!

We have visited this Ashley a few times and had our eye on the Stupendous sectional. When we arrived today Logan greeted us and the experience was amazing. Nice furniture. Good price but they don’t deliver the furniture to the store. So unless you live next to a distribution center, you can tack on delivery fees. I live 80 miles from a distribution center. I spent $550 to have my pieces delivered and set up.

Good furniture, good deals. The sales lady sucked. She was very unfriendly, she didn't want to deal with me, just my fiance. When I disagreed with something she was trying to sell him she immediately cut me off and raised her voice with me. She was very rude about me needing to attend to my toddlers needs. When I was taking him outside to prevent a meltdown, she followed me saying to stop. I told her I needed to take my son to the car and she proceeded to loudly speak over him and myself. She watched me struggle out the door while another customer ran over to help me. What an awful person.

Our sales person, and the manager did a great job of getting us the pricing and the type of furniture we wanted. Sales experience was pleasant.

The shopping experience wasn't terrible at this place. The real issue was the delivery and customer service. The people who delivered our couch wore their shoes in our house on a wet winter day. When the couch was delivered, there was a cushion missing. We were told it was already ordered and should arrive in 5-7 business days. A week later we called and they said it was never ordered and we will have to go on the website and post pictures of the couch and S/N tag (which would require us to disassemble the couch) to submit a claim.

I have pets and although I went there with an idea, I purchased something that better fit my needs and wants with the help of their expertise. I was also give a great deal along with a monthly payment that perfectly fit my budget. Thanks guys!

Our sales person, Karin, was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. The compliments stop here. We’ve had 3 different delivery dates. They keep changing dates on us. We received our coaches 4 weeks ago. We were waiting on two side chairs that we bought and paid for with the coaches. We finally get delivery today, after changing the delivery dates 3 times on us. BOTH chairs arrived damaged. One of the chairs had both front metal legs bent back at a 45 degree angle. The other chair gad one metal leg bent back at a 15 degree angle with the black paint torn right off. You mean to tell me NO ONE noticed this before delivery today??? I’m sure plenty of employees noticed this and didn’t care. They are just worried about dumping the furniture off at the customers door and taking it off their hands. I’ll never shop here again and I’ll be sure to let everyone know my experience. I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and the State and requesting a refund of these chairs.

If I didn’t need this chair immediately I would have gone literally anywhere else. It was extremely disheartening as she made such a wonderful event very upsetting. 0/10 do not recommend.

Ana was a great salesperson. She was patient and able to answer all of our questions. Ashley store hours make buying furniture after work possible. Edit review: while Ana was fine to sell the furniture, there is absolutely no help getting the furniture delivered in a timely manner. We have only 1/2 a couch, as 3 pieces of the sectional were unavailable for delivery. I have been given 4 different possible dates for delivery. The store does not stand by promises made for delivery. The sales people claim they have nothing to do with delivery. They do not return calls. The call center for delivery does not return calls. This is NOT the place to shop if you are in need of timely delivery or accurate delivery information. I am disgusted with this company!

Update: Purchased power couch and loveseat with the extended warranty. It was delivered damage and they replaced it with a new loveseat. Now the loveseat is broken the same way the original one was. Not honored under warranty due to “frame damage”. Nowhere in the warranty does it state frame damage is excluded. DO NOT SHOP HERE AND DON’T WASTE MONEY ON THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. Will never buy a piece of Ashley furniture again. Never been in a furniture store where you had to practically track down someone to help you. Went looking for a basic, non power recliner. The selection was poor and the lady who did help us pretty much laughed us out of the showroom because it’s all power. Went to Slumberland and had a much better experience with larger selection and lower prices.

I was very disappointed with the recent contact with Ashley Furniture. On April 24, 2020 I bought a couch with a reclining chair attached. I live part time in Illinois and was part time in Arizona. I am a widow and live alone. When I reclined, the other night I heard a loud pop. When I turned the chair part over of the Davenport, I saw that one of the metal pieces had broke since I’ve four years and part of that time I was gone and have no other person using this recliner, I was very To say the least when I went to the store, the salesman could see all the furniture I have bought from Ashley, but said they only deal with sales. So I called customer service. The first call was disconnected halfway through. The second call I was on the line for over 30 minutes while the lady kept going back-and-forth saying she was trying to help me. She said she couldn’t figure it out and my phone number was correct. I told her yes this was the right phone number. That was days ago and I have heard nothing. Very disappointed in the customer service I received after all of the products that I have purchased from Ashley.

Not pleased at all. The same chair was 400 less on Ashley’s website. I found that out after the fact. Plus the same protection plan through the store was twice as much as it was if I ordered online. Logan also offered to not charge the white glove delivery fee, but they snuck it into the price on the back end anyway. Don’t use the Rockford store other than to check out furniture first then buy online and save a ton of money

It was good, the only thing that threw me off a bit was me and my husband were shopping for a king size bed and it took us 3 hours to get done. I personally think it shouldn’t have taken them so long to get this process going.. I also found one of the employees a bit pushy when she was offering the warranty money back guarantee after I told her no thanks over 4 times.. if a customer says no they mean no lol. Delivery process is a bit weird too.. I’m getting my mattress first before the panel part.. and I understand some orders are back ordered but I’d prefer the panel first then the mattress. Overall, it wasn’t that bad the guy who works for Aceima was lovely and very helpful when we had questions. Definitely recommend people to go to Aceima in the store! 5 stars go to Noey! Thank you.

Store has cheaply mades furniture. An example of their sale tags- states that the price is $13. You have to look close to see that it's $13 a month for 60 months. It's cheaper to pay cash than do a payment plan. And the employees are vultures circling around you like you're about to expire.

Sales Rep and Manager were very knowledgeable and accommodating and made the whole process very easy.

Lillian was a great help and patient with us as we were looking several pieces trying mix and match. Only issue we had was a mistake in pricing but was rectified quickly.

Service was great, the two people that helped my husband and I were awesome, but problem is, they ruin your credit even when they have signs all over the store that they don’t, they try to tell us that a couch and loveseat were 14 grand a piece and then when I asked about if they came as a set got told “ no you have to buy separately” when in reality you can buy it as a set since the back of the sign for the future saids you can.

Did not like a $1299 mattress. Didn't feel the same as the one tried in the store. Slept on it 1 night and was not comfortable. Went back to the store. And they said no refund or exchange. Once it was delivered. Was told it was in the contract signed before delivery. This should have been pointed out by the salesman or the manager. And it wasn't. So I am stuck with a mattress I can't use.

Worst customer service I have experienced in years. Apparently my table that I paid for was discontinued but the chairs were delivered. When I called to speak to someone at the store I was treated very poorly. Chris would not help me at all, refusing to let me talk. Put me on hold twice to the point I had to hang up. Message were sent to the manager Jonny for 3 days who never called me back. I took a day off work to go down there & he met me with an attitude that he could care less about his employees rude attitude’s because he has one as well. I have bought tons of furniture in my life, never had such a horrible experience as this Ashley Furniture. It’s a shame because I love Ashley items. I would suggest customer service videos be ran day and night for Chris & Jonny !

Ordered a couch in January that I was told would come in three weeks. It took three months. When it was delivered, the delivery guys had me inspect it upside down and told me about a tear on the back which I saw. They said they’d have a tech call me to fix it - they called and the call dropped. Never called back. I’ve since noticed the arm on the couch was broken. Conveniently, the inspection was w the couch upside down. I have texted and left messages and have not heard back. Just notifying anyone- I haven’t had this experience elsewhere. Meanwhile, I have a broken couch that took 3 months to get !

On January 6, 2023 I bought a dining room set and it was delivered Jan 16. A couple days later I noticed masking tape around one of the legs. I started pulling the tape away to reveal a crack. You can see the tape and crack in the photo. Called Ashley’s, they sent a replacement part and schedule a tech to fix it February 29. Tech was supposed to contact the day before with a time window, never heard anything. When I called on the 29 they said the appointment was pushed to March 1 and that someone would call that night for another time window. Never heard anything. Called today to see about a time and they say the appointment was never made. So now I have another appointment for March 14. I regret shopping here. Use to love my new table now I just feel bitter when I look at it.

I called early last week about a living room set. It wasn't available, though it was in my cart. I spoke with Angel, and we talked about coming in to do a price match on something else. I got an alert that i could get the love seat. So, im like screw it. Let me see how long the wait was for the sofa. My heart was set on this sofa set. I called back today and spoke with Angel again. So, I'm explaining to him what I see online. He tells me he's going to call me, just let him look at it. He calls back and informs me that there is also an ottoman to the set. I say no to it. He say OK just wanted to make sure. Let me call you right back. The next call was to inform me that my order was ready. All I had to do was pay online. If you in the Rockford area looking ask for Angel.

I was shopping for loveseat n I wanted one in sales add. So didn't have any I asked about. I purchased one n wanted recliner to match and I was folded it was priced wrong. So I didn't get it. The insurance plan was almost same price as the love seat. I sure hope quality is good. Saleman was polite

I went into the store to purchase an item with a gift card I had received from Ashley Furniture (a reimbursement for an item they lost when it was being delivered to my home). This is the THIRD time I've come to this store and it honestly gets worse each visit. This time I was told I'd have to wait until their manager was available to do the quick sale (since no one in the store was able to assist me). I waited a while and realized the care of their customers is irrelevant to the salesperson they simply want a sale. I do NOT recommend this establishment to anyone and hope when I finally am able to redeem my gift card the process goes smoothly. Especially since I have been trying to redeem it since 2023!

Had a letter stating that the furniture I wanted I could get for $699.00 - ended up with being charged $980.00. Brought it to thei attention and got the run around about being the wrong couch and I would have to change payment plan and then told I received a 20% discount which I never did and then told I received a 5% discount, which I never did. I think they totally try to deceive their customers. Not shopping at a place you can’t trust.They automatically added in a protection plan for $230.00. Told them I didn’t need it and then the manager comes over to try and talk me into taking it. Said again do not need-total mess!!!!

Beautiful store! Salesman was very kind and helpful! He was also new on the job. The issue I have is while the salesman was struggling with the flawed computer system the management and senior sales reps found it fitting to watch him crash and burn rather than help. The salesman did very well and should be proud, his peers should be ashamed. Their desire to make him suffer wasted my time. Very disappointed from a customer point of view. They threw him and us under the bus.

3/12/24- Received generic email. No acknowledgment of my specific case requesting delivery fee refund. Looks like AI. 3/12/24-AI voicemails daily with same recording. No one picks up or calls me back. I am being harassed. 3/8/24-Received another VM from a Sharon H in escalation department, but they will not pick up phone or return my 5 return phone calls. Another example of one-way communication only, as you cannot reach this LLC company. I still have not received contact regarding letter from my attorney which included my request for refund of my $200 delivery fee. DON’T GET DELIVERY. DON’T BUY HERE!! NO REFUNDS. Damaged furniture, no customer service (only outsourced delivery). Sales reps will send you back out of the door saying they can’t help you because delivery & customer service (which doesn’t exist) are separate department. Sales rep won’t answer emails, store manager never created ticket as promised. I will be going back to day one and posting individual reviews sharing each step I’ve taken (over 6), with whom, including the status of the no response to my attorney’s letter. Will do this without end date until someone confirms refund of my $209.99 delivery fee before replacing this bloodied, ripped and marked furniture. Will consider removing this review when delivery fee refunded and furniture replaced.

Grant and staff were great but after purchasing couch they force you to either pay for $500 delivery fee or pickup from warehouse in romeoville. An option for pickup at the actual Rockford store would be nice.

Absolutely the worst furniture store ever. Buyer beware and take caution as they can't figure out how to deliver furniture on time and the left doesn't talk to the right. We were well prepared to spend over 10k at this store but glad we found out they don't know what they are doing. We will be taking our business somewhere else.

Staff is friendly and approachable. However, they are super expensive for quality of their furniture. Only upside is that they have affordable finance plans. For someone not looking to finance, you might want to save your time.

No one asked to help me the whole 40min there. Prices on high end

In store service was absolutely great for ordering! Delivery was great until our driver pointed out that 2 out of 4 of our barstools were delivered in a condition other than brand new with rips/flaking in the leather. He stated to call customer service within 72 hours which I’ve called twice now and they are trying to send a technician out to repair the bar stools. We want these replaced, not repaired. We ordered new and expect new condition. We haven’t even had these for 2 days and it’s already a hassle. We may have to rethink ordering anything in the future if customer service does not make this right. Super disappointing this is how customer service is choosing to handle as it is making this purchase experience less than desirable.

This is the 2nd time we purchased furniture and were promised a delivery time only to be delivered 10 days late. We even told the salesman to not promise a date just to get the sale. He checked the schedule and promised us it was in stock and gave us a delivery date - again, 10 days late - (just to get the sale). Then when it arrived the frame was bent - so disappointing. We’ll see how fast they respond. UPDATE; We finally received a replacement and the new furniture has issues as well . It took almost two months but they did replace one of the two pieces. I really believe the issue is a quality problem at the manufacturer and would like a full refund including the extra warranty that we purchased. So disappointed.
