Sales was great customer service after the sale terrible. They would rather send text messages that do nothing but continually loop and never get an answer. Try to call and once again get a looped around they do NOT want to talk to the customers.

Never been in a furniture store where you had to practically track down someone to help you. Went looking for a basic, non power recliner. The selection was poor and the lady who did help us pretty much laughed us out of the showroom because it’s all power. Went to Slumberland and had a much better experience with larger selection and lower prices.
It was a wonderful experience. Found exactly what we wanted after having to cancel an order from another store for delivery issues. I highly recommend Mousur for sales.

I was very disappointed with the recent contact with Ashley Furniture. On April 24, 2020 I bought a couch with a reclining chair attached. I live part time in Illinois and was part time in Arizona. I am a widow and live alone. When I reclined, the other night I heard a loud pop. When I turned the chair part over of the Davenport, I saw that one of the metal pieces had broke since I’ve four years and part of that time I was gone and have no other person using this recliner, I was very To say the least when I went to the store, the salesman could see all the furniture I have bought from Ashley, but said they only deal with sales. So I called customer service. The first call was disconnected halfway through. The second call I was on the line for over 30 minutes while the lady kept going back-and-forth saying she was trying to help me. She said she couldn’t figure it out and my phone number was correct. I told her yes this was the right phone number. That was days ago and I have heard nothing. Very disappointed in the customer service I received after all of the products that I have purchased from Ashley.

Not pleased at all. The same chair was 400 less on Ashley’s website. I found that out after the fact. Plus the same protection plan through the store was twice as much as it was if I ordered online. Logan also offered to not charge the white glove delivery fee, but they snuck it into the price on the back end anyway. Don’t use the Rockford store other than to check out furniture first then buy online and save a ton of money

It was good, the only thing that threw me off a bit was me and my husband were shopping for a king size bed and it took us 3 hours to get done. I personally think it shouldn’t have taken them so long to get this process going.. I also found one of the employees a bit pushy when she was offering the warranty money back guarantee after I told her no thanks over 4 times.. if a customer says no they mean no lol. Delivery process is a bit weird too.. I’m getting my mattress first before the panel part.. and I understand some orders are back ordered but I’d prefer the panel first then the mattress. Overall, it wasn’t that bad the guy who works for Aceima was lovely and very helpful when we had questions. Definitely recommend people to go to Aceima in the store! 5 stars go to Noey! Thank you.

Store has cheaply mades furniture. An example of their sale tags- states that the price is $13. You have to look close to see that it's $13 a month for 60 months. It's cheaper to pay cash than do a payment plan. And the employees are vultures circling around you like you're about to expire.
Sales Rep and Manager were very knowledgeable and accommodating and made the whole process very easy.
Lillian was a great help and patient with us as we were looking several pieces trying mix and match. Only issue we had was a mistake in pricing but was rectified quickly.

Service was great, the two people that helped my husband and I were awesome, but problem is, they ruin your credit even when they have signs all over the store that they don’t, they try to tell us that a couch and loveseat were 14 grand a piece and then when I asked about if they came as a set got told “ no you have to buy separately” when in reality you can buy it as a set since the back of the sign for the future saids you can.

Did not like a $1299 mattress. Didn't feel the same as the one tried in the store. Slept on it 1 night and was not comfortable. Went back to the store. And they said no refund or exchange. Once it was delivered. Was told it was in the contract signed before delivery. This should have been pointed out by the salesman or the manager. And it wasn't. So I am stuck with a mattress I can't use.

Worst customer service I have experienced in years. Apparently my table that I paid for was discontinued but the chairs were delivered. When I called to speak to someone at the store I was treated very poorly. Chris would not help me at all, refusing to let me talk. Put me on hold twice to the point I had to hang up. Message were sent to the manager Jonny for 3 days who never called me back. I took a day off work to go down there & he met me with an attitude that he could care less about his employees rude attitude’s because he has one as well. I have bought tons of furniture in my life, never had such a horrible experience as this Ashley Furniture. It’s a shame because I love Ashley items. I would suggest customer service videos be ran day and night for Chris & Jonny !

I found what I was looking for in Ashley only that the person who attended me was not so kind he thought that why I was wearing work clothes I couldn't buy or pay for something from the store he was rude and left me there for a while because a beautiful girl appeared even my wife got upset eh we were going to complain to the manager for what we were going through in the store in the end we bought what we wanted another very friendly boy arrived nothing to do with the first boy bad experience in the store

Ordered a couch in January that I was told would come in three weeks. It took three months. When it was delivered, the delivery guys had me inspect it upside down and told me about a tear on the back which I saw. They said they’d have a tech call me to fix it - they called and the call dropped. Never called back. I’ve since noticed the arm on the couch was broken. Conveniently, the inspection was w the couch upside down. I have texted and left messages and have not heard back. Just notifying anyone- I haven’t had this experience elsewhere. Meanwhile, I have a broken couch that took 3 months to get !

I purchased a four piece modular couch and two of the pieces were damaged either before they were delivered or while they were being brought into my home. It took a month for the repair tech to come out to my house to fix the issue. They didn’t bring replacement modular pieces, they sent replacement fabric and tore the couch apart and put new fabric on In my home. The tech that arrived did not appear to know what he was doing. He brought a blanket with him, which I assumed he was going to rest the pieces on as he worked on them, but instead the blanket stayed balled up in a corner while he flipped the pieces onto my hardwood floor, which caused more damage to other parts of the fabric on the Modular Pieces. When he was done, he left a pile of garbage in my living room, as well as roughly 2 dozen staples strewn across the hardwood floor that my dogs could’ve easily ingested which would’ve caused untold internal injuries for them. I don’t ever want these people back in my house ever again, and I will never ever buy anything from them ever again. Steer clear of this place. You will be happy that you did.

On January 6, 2023 I bought a dining room set and it was delivered Jan 16. A couple days later I noticed masking tape around one of the legs. I started pulling the tape away to reveal a crack. You can see the tape and crack in the photo. Called Ashley’s, they sent a replacement part and schedule a tech to fix it February 29. Tech was supposed to contact the day before with a time window, never heard anything. When I called on the 29 they said the appointment was pushed to March 1 and that someone would call that night for another time window. Never heard anything. Called today to see about a time and they say the appointment was never made. So now I have another appointment for March 14. I regret shopping here. Use to love my new table now I just feel bitter when I look at it.

I called early last week about a living room set. It wasn't available, though it was in my cart. I spoke with Angel, and we talked about coming in to do a price match on something else. I got an alert that i could get the love seat. So, im like screw it. Let me see how long the wait was for the sofa. My heart was set on this sofa set. I called back today and spoke with Angel again. So, I'm explaining to him what I see online. He tells me he's going to call me, just let him look at it. He calls back and informs me that there is also an ottoman to the set. I say no to it. He say OK just wanted to make sure. Let me call you right back. The next call was to inform me that my order was ready. All I had to do was pay online. I was shopping for loveseat n I wanted one in sales add. So didn't have any I asked about. I purchased one n wanted recliner to match and I was folded it was priced wrong. So I didn't get it. The insurance plan was almost same price as the love seat. I sure hope quality is good. Saleman was polite

My salesman was fantastic and explained everything in detail. However even after I scheduled the delivery with the store I was called at 8am twice and 3 more times in the evening instructing me to schedule the delivery I had already scheduled

I went into the store to purchase an item with a gift card I had received from Ashley Furniture (a reimbursement for an item they lost when it was being delivered to my home). This is the THIRD time I've come to this store and it honestly gets worse each visit. This time I was told I'd have to wait until their manager was available to do the quick sale (since no one in the store was able to assist me). I waited a while and realized the care of their customers is irrelevant to the salesperson they simply want a sale. I do NOT recommend this establishment to anyone and hope when I finally am able to redeem my gift card the process goes smoothly. Especially since I have been trying to redeem it since 2023!

Had a letter stating that the furniture I wanted I could get for $699.00 - ended up with being charged $980.00. Brought it to thei attention and got the run around about being the wrong couch and I would have to change payment plan and then told I received a 20% discount which I never did and then told I received a 5% discount, which I never did. I think they totally try to deceive their customers. Not shopping at a place you can’t trust.They automatically added in a protection plan for $230.00. Told them I didn’t need it and then the manager comes over to try and talk me into taking it. Said again do not need-total mess!!!!

Beautiful store! Salesman was very kind and helpful! He was also new on the job. The issue I have is while the salesman was struggling with the flawed computer system the management and senior sales reps found it fitting to watch him crash and burn rather than help. The salesman did very well and should be proud, his peers should be ashamed. Their desire to make him suffer wasted my time. Very disappointed from a customer point of view. They threw him and us under the bus.

3/12/24- Received generic email. No acknowledgment of my specific case requesting delivery fee refund. Looks like AI. 3/12/24-AI voicemails daily with same recording. No one picks up or calls me back. I am being harassed. 3/8/24-Received another VM from a Sharon H in escalation department, but they will not pick up phone or return my 5 return phone calls. Another example of one-way communication only, as you cannot reach this LLC company. I still have not received contact regarding letter from my attorney which included my request for refund of my $200 delivery fee. DON’T GET DELIVERY. DON’T BUY HERE!! NO REFUNDS. Damaged furniture, no customer service (only outsourced delivery). Sales reps will send you back out of the door saying they can’t help you because delivery & customer service (which doesn’t exist) are separate department. Sales rep won’t answer emails, store manager never created ticket as promised. I will be going back to day one and posting individual reviews sharing each step I’ve taken (over 6), with whom, including the status of the no response to my attorney’s letter. Will do this without end date until someone confirms refund of my $209.99 delivery fee before replacing this bloodied, ripped and marked furniture. Will consider removing this review when delivery fee refunded and furniture replaced.

Absolutely the worst furniture store ever. Buyer beware and take caution as they can't figure out how to deliver furniture on time and the left doesn't talk to the right. In store service was absolutely great for ordering! Delivery was great until our driver pointed out that 2 out of 4 of our barstools were delivered in a condition other than brand new with rips/flaking in the leather. He stated to call customer service within 72 hours which I’ve called twice now and they are trying to send a technician out to repair the bar stools. We want these replaced, not repaired. We ordered new and expect new condition. We haven’t even had these for 2 days and it’s already a hassle. We may have to rethink ordering anything in the future if customer service does not make this right. Super disappointing this is how customer service is choosing to handle as it is making this purchase experience less than desirable.

This is the 2nd time we purchased furniture and were promised a delivery time only to be delivered 10 days late. We even told the salesman to not promise a date just to get the sale. He checked the schedule and promised us it was in stock and gave us a delivery date - again, 10 days late - (just to get the sale). Then when it arrived the frame was bent - so disappointing. We’ll see how fast they respond. UPDATE; We finally received a replacement and the new furniture has issues as well . It took almost two months but they did replace one of the two pieces. I really believe the issue is a quality problem at the manufacturer and would like a full refund including the extra warranty that we purchased. So disappointed.

Bought a sleep number bed over Labor Day weekend and there was supposedly giving away with purchase a $300 gift card or a water cooler! I got neither one and they keep telling me to wait before I can get anything? Well it’s November and I keep getting the run around 😡 I gave it a two star because the guy who delivered my bed was so helpful (Carlos) as for the gal that’s supposed to help isn’t! I will not buy there again !!

The sales part of things was fine. Unfortunately it seems that is where all the focus is. We purchased a floor model and we’re assured that the merchandise would be ready for us to pick up the next day in the loading areas. 1 hour before we arrived we called to remind them of our arrival(as we were advised to do). Once we arrived the warehouse staff had no idea who we were or why we were there. Even though the sales individual assured us the items would be moved to the warehouse, we located them still sitting on the showroom floor. Warehouse advised we would need to wait for them to get to them or come back. This was the time we made arrangements for having a truck and this had to sit for nearly an hour. No apology. No apology call the next day. We will not be back to this location based on the follow through customer service.
We bought a couch here and they talked us into the extended warranty. When they dropped it off it was broken and I called to tell them and they said it looks like we broke it so the warranty wont cover it but to contact the extended warranty we bought. I contacted them and they said Ashley furniture never turned over any information that we bought the extended warranty despite it being on my receipt. I have called multiple times and ashley furniture keeps referring me back to a number that is supposed to help me figure out why I paid for extended warranty and they cant find it, and the number after saying they have looked into it hasnt bothered to text me back or respond to any of my other texts asking what they found. Just seems like a huge scam. Go somewhere where customer service lines can actually help you and dont have to refer you out to every other place that you cant get in touch with. They clearly dont care about customer service only getting your money.

Gabby was our sales associate and she was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We liked her especially because she was not a high pressure or pushy sales person. She gave us her business card and said when your ready give me a call. We left the store and came back within an hour after we had time to think about it. Gabby was very pleasant and friendly.
I had the worst experience of my life, I bought the full bedroom set, two chairs and a recliner for almost $4200 everything came after 4 months waiting, first they brought the wrong color bed, for that I had to wait another 3 weeks which was fine but the dresser's drawer were not closing properly and Chester drawer's back was broken when I complained l was told they will replace the items, they sure did but when the bed came it has storages drawers underneath and there is a 6" inches gap between the foot board and the mattress, if I push the mattress towards the headboard than I can see my bottom drawers from top, either the mattress is way small or the bed is bigger than the mattress even though I ordered both in queen size also the drawer under the bed was not closing because the railing came broken, they have sent me new drawer and railing but no one came to fix it.I am so disgusted with their service, every time I call their customer service I hear a voicemail saying they are temporarily out of service.I bought everything on 12 months no interest on September of 2022 and it's been 13 months, the bank wants their money and I am stuck with broken pieces of furniture which the customer service is supposed to fix it.There logo of 100% customer guarantee is rubbish, I wanted to return everything but I was told once the items are delivered we don't ever take it back but we can fix it, after complaint after complaint I am on their mercy I have been getting calls from the bank to pay the full amount otherwise they will charge interest on it.When I complain about the bed issue to the customer service I was told this is how it supposed to be even though their store display's doesn't show anything like that at all. I ordered a bedroom set from them and the mattress I got gave me an allergic reaction. I’m breaking out in hives. I had to go to the doctor. They want even exchanged the mattress because I didn’t have a warranty . I’ve had the bed 2 weeks. I will never shop at this place again. The customer service lady sucks she was pretty much calling me a liar.
Outstanding!!!! Best customer service available! Why? Needed to buy a low profile Sterns mattress foundation quickly to replace high profile! I initially called 1 800 number and then realized they had a Rockford store - hung up and called them. Gabriella answered the phone and within 5 minutes she listened to my need and processed my order. It just kept getting better! They had a foundation in the distribution center and it would be delivered in a few days. Other stores in area were quoting weeks - months or didn’t know! Simply put- very apparent they were not interested or wanting to waste their time on a mere $350 sale!!! Gabrielle explained how to pay with the link she was sending. She called me back to confirm the store received payment and we were good to go and proceeded to thank me for shopping with Ashley! Truth be known I could not thank her enough. Just when u think this is best customer service business you have ever encountered - I get a call from a friendly voice saying this is Ashley Furniture on line representative and we are sorry we missed your recent call. It took a minute for me to realize this was the 800 call that I hung up after deciding to call Rockford directly. I apologized and explained what happened! The experience with the people at the location was great, I just have a problem with the quality of my furniture. I don't expect them to last forever, that would be inexpensive but quite boring. What I do expect is for them to not rip while I'm sitting down on my couch. Then while trying to make an accidental claim they say it is a wear problem problem not an accidental problem so they can fix it or help me with it. Thanks guys!

Wow. I had to take my own bed base home the next day because they had to get brought in from Chicago burbs. Got it home and it wasn't wired correctly which was the point of getting it home . Took 3 days for delivery of the mattress not to bad but they wouldn't deliver the base with it. 3200. For just a singleXL MATRESS ALONE. TEMPERPEDIC CAME and fixed the base wiring that was totally screwed up. Ashley should have both bed and base together!!! I had to pay for delivery. I will not shop there again.

There isn't a button for ZERO stars so I had to choose 1 ..My grandparents and family members recently bought a recliner over 700$ for my grandpa's birthday ....we live an hour away as well ..When they recieved the recliner at home they realized it was broken the actual structure of the recliner making it inoperable ...So of course they wanted to return it and they wouldn't let them return it saying it was As is ! Disgusting way to do business ... taking advantage of the elderly ...DO NOT SHOP HERE ! Unless you enjoy being screwed out of your money ..My grandparents are in their mid 70's and are on a tight budget only to be screwed over ...Not sure how the people in charge there sleep at night or look in themselves in the mirror ...Sickening ! Called for 3 weeks now and the manager just messages my grandma back ill get back to you and never does!

FRUSTRATING! Spent over 4,000 on a mattress.. took a day off work for the delivery & it NEVER came. No call regarding it.. tried calling the store & it’s all automated.. can’t get through to a real person from the location.

The absolute worst place to do business with! The associates at the Rockford location are only interested in selling, they don't care about your comfort, affordability or time! Went there to purchase a sofa and ottoman ONLY, i found 1 that i liked so i told guy my budget and how much I had to spend, he tried to sell me everything besides what I wanted and kept trying to get me to add on more things. However I end up putting him in his place and setting the tone for what I came for got everything set up for delivery and all & they changed the delivery date 3 times. I got fed up I just canceled the whole thing don't play with my money or my time. I'll go somewhere else. Also the 5 star views has to be from the corporate office cause this location in Rockford illinois is a joke! Zero stars if I could. & the robotic responses to text a number for assistance is hilarious & ridiculous!

I purchased a mattress, bed frame and night stands. Spent several thousand dollars on them. My delivery was backed up by 1 week. No big deal. But when the delivery team arrived they came in with a broken headboard with no intention of telling us. Actually tried hard to hide it. They didn't have the hardware with them and my "white glove service" of set up was obviously not completed. When I refused to sign, they forged my signature and left! On their way out, peed in my driveway!!!!!! I had to drive 2.5 hours to get the hardware from the distribution center, to get home and WAS NOT GIVEN ALL THE HARDWARE! So here I sit with a broken bed, not all the hardware and still can't get confirmation of when my bed will be delivered and set up properly. Not to mention where is the monitory refund? This is horrible horrible customer service

NEVER GO HERE. FRAUD AND TERRIBLE SERVICE. went here to get a couch the staff was very nice and helpful. I made the purchase. Little did I know they had signed me up for a credit card without my consent. Woah…called corporate and they reviewed this with me and agreed and immediately helped me file the fraudulent claims as they agreed with me on every point. FURTHERMORE, upon delivery of the couch(prior to me realizing the fraud claims) the people setting up and delivering opened the couch outside and drug it in one handed into the house ripping some of the seams. Then once they got it inside they stripped the screws while drilling in the legs of the couch (crooked! Not even straight). I called Ashley corporate to come fix this and they made an appointment but then NO CALLED NO SHOWED. Have not been able to get them to come out to fix the product that I paid for. As for the fraudulent credit card the company is investigating this store and has advised to stay away.

Don't waste your time, not worth the headache! Everything is great up until you walk out of the store, and then talking to an actual person is impossible. Texting is the method of communication for their warehouse. Very unprofessional! 7-5-23 Update Finally received last of furniture and one is damaged. Do you think you can talk to an actual person. Nope, message saying phone lines are currently busy, call back later, or we are having technical issues... I'm telling you to save yourself the headache and buy somewhere else!

Ashley's furniture has good furniture however theirs staff is horrible. Lillian helped us and I use that very loosely. You can tell they get commission from sales. She judged my husband and I when we asked for help and was completely rude to us. Once we said we actually want to purchase the bed set her attitude changed a little. The computer system was messed up and caused more delayed service. Once I went back to pay she set it up under my maiden name because of a purchase 7years ago. Then tried to lie to my husband that I signed my papers wrong. She never corrected the information in the computer to match. I even informed her I would be out of the country,contact my husband.she still was calling me for delivery. Furniture still hasn't been delivered because of Ashley's. Issues. Also you shouldn't hire mother and son it's a really bad conflict of interest when they both don't do their job right.

Ashley Furniture has THE WORST Customer Service Support I have ever seen. Also great tip for all those who are looking to buy there - the Salespeople are average age 20 or less, and have no clue what they are doing; Negotiate the hell out of them and/or walk out - their managers are equally as clueless and most likely will beg for the sale.
Went in thinking if If I find what I like it could be weeks b4 delivery. I was wrong. Found what I really liked and a 30% discount didn't hurt either. Going back to get it in about 3 hours. Thank You Trevor. A fine young man and honest as the day is long.

We went and looking for a small table and a couple chairs for our house we just bought. Was in the store for 20 minutes before somebody had asked us if we needed help. This person then called a sales rep over to help us. We were assigned somebody to help us that was on the job for 3 days. He tried to do the best that he could and was showing us different items that would work for what we were looking for. However, every time that we would focus on a particular table it was not available. When we found a table however, we had trouble finding chairs that we were comfortable with that fit our criteria. Once we found chairs that worked, there was not enough of them in inventory or company-wide. This happened 4 times. We wanted to keep the chairs and switch the tables but again the same issue happened. The salesman kept trying to do research and help us as much as he could. We finally settled on the products we wanted and we're ready to purchase. On the way to the table where the checkout was my wife had tripped and fallen on a cable matt that was running across the floor. Myself and the sales rep had quickly attended to my wife that had some injury to her knee, shoulder, and wrist. The salesman asked and showed genuine concern for her to make sure that she was okay. After my wife was sitting in a chair resting she had asked me why the store manager had saw her fall and did not ask how she was doing or inquired about the fall. I brought it up to the salesman what my wife told me about the store manager and his response was" the store manager likes to have the sales reps deal with the customers directly and not get too involved" . I mentioned to him that I do understand about giving the sales rep room to grow and learn. However, when there is a particular incident that goes beyond the learning process I believe that the store manager should have gotten involved and made sure that my wife was okay and if there was anything additionally that needed to be done to make sure that she was not seriously injured. We don't agree with the management policy to have the sales reps deal with a possible serious issue like this. We're hoping that you review this and address any possible issues in the future.

Selected a recliner to find out it’s not available when setting up taking the floor model no deal given and would require procuring shipping within 3 days very inconvenient. Decided to get pillows after purchasing was told they are out of stock and can come back later to get them.

We waited 5 months for our furniture. I posted a review back in 2020 saying how great our experience was and I have since deleted it as none of that is true anymore. We have now owned our furniture for barely 2 years and our couch is broken already. We have not done anything out of the ordinary to the couch. Just used it in our daily life and the entire wood frame is snapped due to bad quality. We paid for the warranty only to find out it does nothing for us. Shop somewhere else if you want furniture to last you a long time!

I had a small issue with another Ashley store and decided to give the Rockford store a call as they had their large Orange sale Active for this weekend. The Rockford store did a wonderful job of addressing our family with the purchase of new living room furniture as well as making the transaction crisp and clean. I would like to note that the other Ashley store did follow up to make sure that everything was taken care of.
I will never order from Ashley Furniture again. The lack of concern and customer service I received is disgusting and that is saying that nicely. What I have gone through just to get my furniture delivered is to long for 1000 characters but I promise I will do everything in my power to kick this issue up as high as I can. I will literally find a news station that will air what has been said and done to me. You all sit in your react circles in store and the managers complain how your not making enough sales and that people are cancelling deliveries with the warehouse and now I understand why! The only nice thing I have to say is I hope my sales rep, Austin, finds a better job because he is too good to be working for a place that does not value their customers time or money! Within an hour of making a purchase I canceled because purchasing online gives you free delivery. Rep in the phone told me he issued a refund and it will show on my card within a few days. Item was Delivered so I called to see what happened. Now, since the item is in my house it is non refundable. Shady company. Now I have two mattresses and I will no longer use Ashley Furniture.

We went in not really sure what we were looking for. Mousur was great! Not pushy at all! Explained all the different materials to us. We have a dog at home and he showed us which on he recommended for pets. The couch set that we went with we love! 10/10 recommend! When you go in ask for Mousur! He will help you find the best selection for your price range!

Ordered atound the 19th of December. bedset arrived in January 9th? headboard was damaged called Ashley to let them know and still thing done about it finally on the 15th of February we got a date confirmation for them to just come out and see if they can repair for March 20th still a long way which is not repairable, and I would still have to wait for the new one to arrive , we been calling all this time, bad service on that end
This was the worst experience I've ever had! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Will Smith (salesman) lied over and over and overcharged us! Promised us a "discount" that we didn't receive, then asked us for a tip!! We were credited back what we were over charged, realizing then that we were missing pieces we thought were ordered. Very poor experience! We will shop elsewhere from this point forward!

im sad been a big fan of ashley. But when u go into a store and 2 salespeople are sitting at a table both on their phones not talking on them & you walk by them 3 xs & are ignored. Then a another salesperson a lady walks right by me & also doesnt even acknowledge me & same for 1 at the desk i wasted an hr of my time & never asked if i needed help. I wont be back til you can get people who realize what their there to do is offer help/ service. U just lost a long time customer. We used to live in Memphis & the Ashley store NEVER was like this. ive got 6 pieces from Ashley because i had real salespeople.

I bought a sofa on September 16, 2022 and I just got it on January 14 2023. Always scheduled an appointment for delivery and never came giving the excuse that I did not have a delivery scheduled. I spoke with various of the sellers in the store, and I even spoke with a manager in the store and she was disrespectful. I will never recommend Ashley Furniture Store. Very irresponsible.

While looking up My Ashley credit account to pay for our purchase he allowed an another customer to interrupt our transaction and proceeded to help her resolve her issue for the next 15 minutes or so. Another sales representative eventually completed our purchase with no apology from your store manager.

Furniture was damaged during "white glove delevery", they said they would repair or replace it with some Texas furniture repair company that won't answer the phone since I'm in Illinois. We'll that was weeks ago and I still can't get my bedroom together. For I'm still waiting for replacement/repairs or even an appointment day. After 5k and paying for "white glove" this is very disappointing and I will not be shopping here again especially since I made them aware of the damage that same hour they brought it.
Frankie was amazing!! Such a wonderful person to work with- was very accommodating to my situation and attentive to what worked best for us. Frankie made sure I left with a great mattress within my price range. Felt like I left with a friend after my experience at Ashley. We paid for the “White Glove” service, which as I understood it, would mean the chairs would be delivered to our home and put together, checking to make sure they were level. They were delivered already put together and it was obvious that no one had checked to see if they were level as 3 of the 6 chairs delivered were not.
The sales rep Lillian Peoples did very well assisting me with choosing the proper bed and furniture. She was also very accommodating with my physical disability. She explained in detail about all.

Not good been over a month and a half just about where I haven't received my mattresses yet so please look into it and try to get back to me on it I'm not all that bad but it's hard to sleep without a bed especially at our age so please look into my order and find out where it's at it should be two single mattresses that I've been waiting on I spent close to $10,000 there so if I have to it's not good just not good it's really Swanson bye
No complaint with the store itself, great selection and we’ll shop there again. The poor star rating is all about our experience with the salesperson Paul C, he was harsh and responded rudely to most of my questions. For example, after asking him the for the total with out the protection plan, he told me to, “ just subtract the $399”. I can list at least 3 or 4 more quotes, but it’s too much. When spending $$$$ I don’t appreciate hearing his complaints and negative comments about his customers before us that day, “she was a know it all, mother in law, well you know what I’m talking about” and more…I can only imagine what was said about us after we left. We walked out the door with a heavy/negative feeling, a $2000.00 negative feeling. We really wish we had a different salesperson ring up our purchase! Oh! And after selling us the full service delivery package, he instructed us to tip the delivery team well (as he rubbed his fingers together) to get the job done. I’ll say it again, we just wish we had our experience with someone else! He just was not professional.
I ordered a sectional from Ashley in July of 2022. It took 10 weeks to arrive and one piece of it came with the wrong feet and several cushions had snags in the fabric. Since delivery, it's been HELL to get my replacement parts. The sales team at the local store is completely hands off and does not assist in troubleshooting after your order is placed. Apparently they're just in it for the commission and don't guarantee quality product once they take your money. Absolutely terrible service from beginning to end. Buy elsewhere.

Drove all over central and northern illinois looking at at least ten stores, found the best customer service and value at Ashley of Rockford. You need to congratulate the man they call monster there. After checking out things on their site I decided to go to the store and check some things out. I was met by Evey as soon as I got in the door. I told her my budget and she show me some items and I ended leaving there with what I wanted. She worked a great deal for me that was less than I wanted to pay. Very polite and knowledgeable and not pushy. I hate pushy sales people. I will definitely talk to Evey at Ashley Furniture next time I need something. Great experience. Great prices.

My family and I recently orders furniture from here and the most terrible experience ever I will never shop here again. All of my furniture came defected, missing parts, horrible delivery services, the customer service didn’t do anything for my exchanges and delivery dates where never accurate. I will never shop here again.

Bought a living room set, God Bob's furniture has better quality, the set they delivered was not the same as I ordered, my husband received it and he didn't know so when I came back to town it was too late to return it, I had this for about 3 months now and they are already linty and they sank, I'm definitely not buying from them ever again.

What a joke we checked online and found it $50 cheaper. We will never go back there!!

Worst experience with one problem after the other. Purchased a mattress and a pillow. After being told I could walk out the door with the pillow, I was promised I could pick up the pillow the following day because it was not in the computer. Apparently there was no one available to enter any information while I was in the store. Salesperson told me it would be available first thing in the morning. When I stopped by the next day, several hours after the store was open, they still hadn't entered it into the computer and told me I had to come back again. Even though it was sitting right there and then there were plenty of people around doing nothing. The salesperson, Will, was a fast talker and tended to say "let me slow things down for you" if I asked him to repeat something, which was extremely condescending and rude. I don't need things mansplained to me, I needed you to speak slowly and clearly, not over promise, or try to rush me through a sale. Somehow instead of opening one Ashley's store account, which was what I agreed to at 0% interest, I ended up with two credit cards. So again a month later I have to return to the store to try to fix this problem. No one in the store could really explain why this happened or what to do about it. The fact that it impacts my credit isn't their problem, so they were not willing to help resolve the issue. Thoroughly disgusted with my experience here. The only good thing was that the mattress was delivered on time and communication was good regarding delivery. Ironically, the pillow that was in the store was far more difficult to obtain than the mattress.

I typically do not leave negative reviews, only positive ones, but my recent experience was my worst ever in shopping for furniture. The only positive thing to say was the salesperson named Will. Everything else was terrible. Not sure where to begin; incorrect items were ordered, promise of ship dates were completely inaccurate, purchased items I never received and the time I spent on the phone with the shipping and delivery warehouse took hours of my time. I have purchased from this store in the past and the furniture has always seemed to be good quality, but I will never shop here again based on my most recent experience.

Horrible buyer beware. They fail in every way of customer service. Shipped wrong stuff wasted an entire day of ours after thay where called the day before telling them what was noted as shipping was wrong, the call center told us that it was most likely a clerical issue...not. Every number and email goes to a call center and you get someone who can not answer any questions. I will never do buisness here again. We got about half our order sent the other half went back do to damage. Salesman now won't even answer his phone. We are going down today to cancel the rest of the order. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
Ordered our dinning & bedroom set in August of 2021. It is now over a year later and we are still waiting. They had our table and were waiting on chairs, but now the table went missing too! They finally got the bedroom set in, but when they delivered it this weekend, the head board was dented and they took the whole bed back. We spent almost $8,000 with Ashley's and feel like we are constantly being brushed off! We have called over 10 times and every time someone is supposed to call us back, no one does! At this point we will never do business with Ashley's again!

My purchase was actually in stock so my experience was great. Very fast, delivery within days. I was updated by text and delivery team arrived as text. Delivery persons were courteous and efficient.
Went from Hero to Zero. We bought our furniture many years ago from Ashley and it has been durable and we've long promoted them as the "go to" furniture place. So when we were talking with my parents about getting a full bedroom set, I was surprised to hear about their disappointing experience. Separately, my sister told me she had a horrible time with her order and would not go there again. In the face of all this evidence, I pushed on, thinking those were odd coincidences. Unfortunately, I was wrong. It's been more than a YEAR since we've ordered our bedroom set, and we are still waiting on part of the order. Every step of the way has been an uphill battle to get information. Worst of all they do not keep us in the loop when there is a change. Setting expectations is a weak point at Ashley, delivering on promises is a dismal endeavor, and suffering through their order/delivery process is something we will never do again. I could have grown the trees, chopped them down and built my own bedroom set by now. It might not be pretty, but its better than nothing. As is usually the case, my parents were right. Props pops! Update: The email/number provided by the owner goes directly to Customer Service. I thought we had a real chance to get something done after reading their response. And in true fashion, when we finally got through to someone they told us they had to push the date out another week. Of course they did. Why expect anything less than the least from Ashley?
This is the worst outfit to get your furniture or office furniture! DO NOT GO HERE! Please choose another outfit before even considering this outfit. Honestly it has been a terrible experience for me I ordered 6 items and three of those items got to me and are in great shape, however my cocktail table had to be canceled because I never received it, the bunk bed I bought didn't even have all the parts for the frame nor any of the hardware to assemble it, my daughters have been sleeping on the floor on a mattress for 7 months now despite the fact calling in several times to order those parts and not reaching me. Even stopping into my local ashley home store to be told that they don't know what to do and you should deal with it so now I'm paying for items that are not being serviced as contracted on thier end.
Promised delivery date of 2 weeks from date of order. Now that the order has been book and payment received the order cannot be scheduled, maybe it will arrive in the distribution center in another 2 additional weeks; maybe is the operative word. Not a good way to treat returning customers!

My gf and I were in search of a nice bed frame to match the furniture in my room. We found a piece we liked and after talking to a salesman (Ben, I believe) I got it at a good price. It’s getting delivered in less than a week. I’m quite happy with my experience here and will likely shop here again when I have the room for more furniture.
I love the way the sales team works. They are there to answer any questions and but give you the space you need to look around. No heavy sales pitch. And when you need them they are very helpful. It’s a very comfortable relaxing buying experience. I also like that they have quality products to find and look at.
We ordered our GREY sofa/loveseat in March & were told it would be here the end of May. We asked our sales rep about it and all he said was he didn’t know and the delivery date kept getting pushed back and back. It is August 10 and our sofa/loveseat finally got delivered… one grey sofa & one TAN loveseat. They sent us the wrong color and we’re just going to leave it until I talked to the warehouse who finally agreed to take it back. They told us to call our sales rep because he was the one who ordered the wrong loveseat. We called him and talked to him and he said that he’d talk to his manager before he can give us an answer. He called back and said that they are working to try to get us our loveseat asap but it would probably be 6-8 weeks! We got rid of our old chair & couch we had before so now we just have one little couch to use for the next few weeks. SO disappointing that they couldn’t even give us a little discount — we paid A LOT for the sofa/loveseat.
this is the worst place ive ever had the displeasure of shopping. these guys screwed up shipping on every order we had. stuff was broken time after time it was delivered for a replacement. Now i guess they ate tired of dealing with is because noone will answer our calls or call us back. Thanks for the crappiest service ive ever had. Will never set foot in that store again and I suggest noone else does either. Thanks for my misery

Stop selling items that are out of stock, tells you one delivery date then they change the delivery date without even telling you, will be waiting a total of 6 weeks for my item now when they originally said 2 and that's only if they don't change the delivery date again. Smh never again.
We purchased a sectional and ottoman from Ashley furniture and were promised delivery on June 25th, when we didn't receive confirmation of the delivery we called and were told it would be available on July 5, then on the 5th they told us July 13, this continued to happen every time the delivery date came around. It then moved to the 19th and now tentatively July 26th. If you purchase furniture from Ashley just make sure you have the time to wait many weeks after the initial delivery date and don't have any travel plans.
I'm giving one star because zero stars was not an option... I will never order from Ashley ever again. We were told 12 weeks for delivery. We ordered over labor day and just now (July 19th) received the last of our order. We were promised delivery dates multiples times... day would come and go with no delivery and no communication from Ashley. Id call and they'd tell me it was delayed with a new guaranteed delivery date. This happened about a dozen times. At one point I had to physically go into the store to just get an answer out of them. The day of the first delivery we were given a specific window for when the technicians would arrive to install the furniture. They missed that window by hours. Then delivered only part of our furniture that we were expecting. The rest was delayed "somehow." This issue recurred with each of the numerous subsequent deliveries (it took 4 deliveries to complete the order). Ashley has the worst customer service and by far the worst overall customer experience. We also bought items from Bobs Furniture. They have weekly updates and delivered on the day they promised.. . zero issues, and same quality as Ashley. I cannot express how dissatisfied I am. My requests were reasonable... regular communication, and accurate information so I could plan accordingly. That's all. If they informed me upfront about a 10month ETA there would have been no issue. Except, even when they finally get a delivery date they fall short in every other aspect of the delivery itself. Good luck... Id never shop with them again

Will Smith was very helpful he greeted us at the door and and offered a wheel chair once he seen I was having trouble moving around. He pushed the wheelchair around the store showing me all the tables until I found the one for me. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He also gave me his suit jacket once I got cold. It's was an amazing shopping experience and his service was above and beyond. Love the table and service.
We were treated very well and felt no pressure to purchase more than what we came in for. We liked that we were presented 3 different prices on an item and we decided what was best for us. We felt very good and comfortable with our salesperson, Will Smith. We highly recommend him.

Very pleasant experience buying 2 sofas at Ashley Furniture in Rockford, IL. Salesman Will Smith (not that one) was very patient in helping us make our selections, and we felt no pressure. They matched prices we found online. Totally pleased with the experience.
My husband and I came to Ashley to purchase a living room set where we meet Will our sales man, he was very knowledgeable about inventory on the sales floor and availability on line as well. Will helped us to find the perfect set in our price point. He was very personable and pleasant not pushy at all! We very please with the customer service we received today!
We ordered several pieces of furniture for our living room and kitchen in July of 2021 and was told it could take 6-8 weeks and here it is a year later and have not gotten any of it!! Every time I call I get a different story and it should be ready next month for the last year!! Just called today and says 4-6 weeks which I hear every time I call!! Do not believe the time frame they say cause it will likely not happen
If you shop at Ashley furniture, expect long, long, very long delivery, and no costumer support will pick up your phone calls.
Can’t say enough good things about our sales rep Marcos L. Rockford location. Genuinely got to know us and didn’t feel like he was trying to corner us- harass us - or otherwise try to hurry us into buying whatever. Talked with my husband while I wandered the store. Then when I was ready to ask questions about the items that interested me, he took his time to find out what our situation was, offered information about the products and suggestions without feeling like he was pushing to sell. Genuine in that when other customers came in the store and we offered to wait and have him go to them, he honestly didn’t seem like he wanted to cut us off and was happy to have his coworkers assist the new customers even though by then we hadn’t stated we would be purchasing anything. Honestly at that point we had just been looking but after that is when we decided to purchase. Gave us an honest estimate for the amount of time it would take for the furniture to come with all the delays and he was spot on. He was professional, knowledgeable and yet didn’t try to come off and fake being an “expert” as so many sales people do. Sometimes, you just get that one person who is just a good, honest person that makes shopping fun again. Ashleys is lucky to have him as if it weren’t for him we would have left without buying anything from them after the experience my inlaws had with the store in their county.

I will never shop at Ashley again. The customer service is terrible. I had to call 4 times and chat with 4 different people to even request to cancel my order. One of the agents hung up on me and 2 lied to me about why they could not submit my cancellation request. Very bad business practices. Do not shop here.

We were told our couch would arrive June 10th it’s now pushed back to the 17th. Our table was suppose to arrive July 22nd & now it’s pushed back to OCTOBER. Do NOT purchase furniture here unless it’s in the warehouse, or else you will be waiting a long time. I wish I knew this information before purchasing but the sales associate nor the manager will tell you this. Incredibly frustrating when you can’t get honesty from these people. Again do not purchase unless it’s in the warehouse!
WARNING:ORDER AT ANOTHER PLACE! I ordered a bedroom set at this location February 2022 now the issue is not this store specifically but Ashley Furniture itself. I received my order in parts when I received my dresser and chest it was delivered damaged sense then they have tried replacing it four times. Three of those times the replacement items were damaged also.. today June 7th they were scheduled to be replaced they showed up and I did not review a call that they were here or on the way as they have done the last 3 times. (They claim they did but I have 0 calls & no one is going to call off a day of work to maybe or maybe not receive damaged items) So they moved on to the next order, I called Ashley and they have “no way of contact”with the delivery team they hired. Now I wait to reschedule again to only god knows when. & Tomorrow finally my head/foot board come in. Let’s hope it’s not damaged. I know everywhere is backed up in orders but if you are looking to pay cash for a big order DO NOT come to Ashley’s Furniture. They have made it a stressful 6 months. Meanwhile I ordered a couch and a dining table at Curlys discount furniture this past Thursday.. paid cash and received it Saturday.
Bought a recliner love seat $2000 leather wore out after 6 months started a claim but they never call back. I got the parts but they won't install them because my warranty ran out a few days sago.
I'd rather buy from Walmart! I got $8,000 in furniture and the headboard was cracked twice and the hardware missing the 3rd time! I've already been waiting a month, who knows how much longer it will be!!!!!!! I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Update!!!!! We had a 4th attempt on delivery of our bed! We paid $279 for delivery and set up to be told we have to move the bed we purchased from Ashley out of the room before they could assemble it!!!! What did we pay for??? The very very rude delivery guy lied through his teeth and drove away with the rest of our bed!!!!!!

I was greeted by Lionel as soon as I walked in the store. I told him what I was looking for and he took me right to them. He didn’t try to change my mind, pressure me or try to get me to order more than I wanted. The same was handled quickly and professionally with all of my questions answered.
Nagi made our experience more enjoyable because of his patience, his kindness and knowledge. Patience was a biggie with me because of my back issues and he was always there to lend a hand to help me up. I think I tried every mattress they had! But it had to be perfect and he understood. This was the most frustrating experience shopping that I have had. Took over a week to hear back from a representative after calling several times to get an update on our furniture that was supposed to be delivered weeks ago. The prices are also marked much higher than online- so whatever “promotions” they have going on, actually just discount the furniture to the online price and they refuse to match the online price. Better off shopping online so that you don’t have to deal with the store.

Terrible store! I purchased furniture on Feb 19, 2022. I was told the furniture would be receive in April on the 25 well the furniture never came I called the store and they gave me a different date and stated the furniture was on back order and said it would be June. So I went to the store on April the 26 to speak with the manager he check led the system to see why I didn’t I didn’t receive the furniture and why it was late and he stated it was on back order and that I wouldn’t receive the furniture until July. The sales person who sold me the furniture was suppose to contact me after two weeks to give me updates that never happen, no called, I had to call them. I had to go to customer service to get any assistance when I visit the store for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd time. On April the 26 I went to the store and requested a refund and told them I couldn’t wait to July, I asked them to just sale me the showroom floor couch set they said they couldn’t but they tried to sale me a clearance set from the showroom floor and i didn’t think that was fair, they wanted to sell me something other than what I request. The refund on my bank debit card was issued two days later which is okay but the refund on my Ashley synchrony Card was never put in the system to be refunded and deleted. Me and my wife had a terrible experience with Ashley furniture and will never do business with this store ever again. This is not the Ashley store I remember 2-3 years ago, this store is slowly falling about and it’s sad because they really have great furniture at a reasonable price and it’s sad they have terrible customer service and the delivery time is bad who wants to wait 3-6 months for furniture especially when they don’t have furniture in a new house. It’s pointless!

Tonia at the Rockford store made my nightmare of an experience a little more bearable. She was kind and helpful and helped get me a gift card for my troubles. I had several issues with my order that I placed and then when it finally came 5 months later, my bed slats came without supports so I couldn’t even sleep on my bed. The person who sold me my items is no longer employed there and the day I bought my things was his last day so he obviously didn’t care to make sure my order was correct. I’ve been shopping with Ashley for over 10 years and have never had such a bad experience. I hope if I choose to shop here again that the next experience is better than this.
The one star is being kind. The person who helped us was kind and not pushy. The problem with the experience you will have is with the store. We were willing to wait 8 weeks for the couches we really wanted. 8 weeks is almost here and we are told at least 10 more weeks No one answers the phones except the corporate office automated system. I really wish I would have read the reviews before trying this store for furniture.

My friends couch was delivered torn and worn to their house. How does this happen? Was this a display or a used couch? Ashley is refusing to swap out the couch for a new one or reimburse them. What kind of business practice is this? Certainly, not an ethical one. Last year my husband and I bought a new mattress, we slept on it for one night and it wasn’t for us. The Room Place came out picked it up for free when they delivered the new one. That is outstanding customer service. Is this a problem with ineptitude in your customer service department or poor business ethics. I know I have heard of other furniture stores doing the bait and switch with furniture. I didn’t think Ashley was like that. Please rectify this situation.
Purchased a new couch when delivered it was messed up. When I called them they would not do anything about it. Poor customer service.
Purchased a brand new couch from Ashley Furniture. The couch is ripped, has used cushions, is sunken in, and has no feet. I was told they would send someone out to reupholster it. I’ve called several times and get a new excuse every time why they can’t replace it. They are refusing to replace it. Sending someone to reupholster won’t fix it being a used couch with missing parts. I didn’t buy a brand new couch to have it reupholstered.
I would have chosen 0 stars if it was an option. The couch that was delivered was damaged, ripped and worn and they REFUSE to replace it. As you can see in the pictures the plastic is still on. I am appalled by the lack of customer service and would highly recommend NOT EVER SHOPPING HERE.

I have NEVER been one to complain about an experience, until last week. My husband and I purchased a “new” sectional from Ashley and were VERY DISAPPOINTED when half of our sectional was delivered in excellent shape, and the other half was USED. Arm rest is ripped, cushions are warn, frayed, and sunken in, and there were no feet. When I contacted customer service (4 times) I was told someone would be out sometime to see what needs to be ordered to fix it. I will NEVER purchase from this store again as I have been talked to like I am the bad guy, even though I was just trying to purchase a NEW couch for our new home.

We have bought furniture from multiple different places over the years but this was the first time we have used Ashley Furnace. We were greeted upon arrival by Sami. We told her what we were searching for and she took us straight to the couch we eventually settled on. Yes we looked at several other ones but kept returning to that one. We made an appointment with her for a return visit after thinking about the couch for a few days prior to making the final decision. We walked out after the quick process of obtaining credit and purchasing the couch and love seat saying to each other that was a great experience. All of the employees made us feel at home. I almost didn't want to leave because we were having so much fun joking around etc. And as for our salesperson Sami she was very personable and considerate of our decision making process. She did not try to push anything else on us in the process of buying. Again thank you Rockford Ashley Furniture for your hospitality and ease of buying new furniture.
My review is in progress as items have yet to be delivered. Thus far the staff was great, a couple of pushy sales rep but we got one that wasn't too pushy so that worked for us. We bought a zero gravity sectional, king bedroom set and sitting room furniture for a decent price. We spent quite a bit so I hope it all turns out well. We are aware of the March/April timeframe so I will complete the review at that time. So far so good.... I can't give 2.5 so 3 for now and will update according. Cheers! Update - Half the order has been delivered to the Ashley store. This is such an unbelievable debacle of a purchase. When I ordered I told them I live out of state, they called to say they have half the order and are ready to deliver. LOL I said I am not even in the same state, where were all the notes of availability I gave you? Oh man, if there was only a Living Spaces near my home. I will never do Ashley again. No one has a clue what is going on. UPDATE II - Finally had the items delivered. The armless portion of the sectional was broken, the staples were off and the wood inside was broken, you could run your hand down the side and feel the splintered wood. 7 month wait time on this..... :-/
We visited Ashley Furniture in Rockford this morning. We were looking to buy a rocker recliner. We were immediately greeted by a sales lady named Sam. We told her what we were looking for and she showed us lots of recliners. We found a very nice one we decided to buy. The sale went very smooth and in a short time we were done. My wife and I purchased a new tempurpedic mattress, a bedroom set including bed frame, headboard with lights, nightstand, and a dresser with a mirror. We had to wait 2 months for the bedroom set which we were aware of delays when made purchase. When they set up our sons bedroom set they didn't hook up the lights, all the drawer handles were loose, and they brought the wrong mirror for dresser. A month later they scheduled to bring the right mirror. This time they left it at the door and left without setting it up when we paid for white glove installation. They have given us problems about coming back to set up mirror because no one in the area. We were about to get more furniture to furnish our entire house. But after over $6,000 and the poor services received we will be going elsewhere. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!

Ordered in May, have been given 3 dates to be delivered and do not show up. Now our last delivery date it will not be here again. The communication is the worst between the warehouse, store and delivery.
Took my furniture WAY longer than expected to be delivered & it comes broken. I reached out to the salesman and was told to call the warranty. But if I use my warranty I don’t get money back at the end. I shouldn’t have to use my warranty towards what was delivered broken.

I wasn’t even mad about the 6 month wait we have had but the constant calls to deliver furniture when they didn’t have everything. Then calling my husbands work so much he got in trouble. We finally caved and told them it was fine then a date was set and they said we never confirmed, ok fine. But then we set another date today and confirmed and they send over a list for items to be delivered and it was not delivered . At this point I have no furniture in my house waiting for pretty much a whole house of furniture. This is such a joke and of course no answers on the phone because they don’t have it in the system even though we have it on our end. At this point I want to cancel our order. Now to wait 7 more days and who knows if that’s even accurate. Don’t get rid of any of your furniture the date they let you know there is a delivery. Also 12 weeks is about 6 months. Worst furniture purchase experience ever.
Bought our first furniture for our living room as a married couple . Went in with a pre approval letter for 3500. Walked out with an Ashley Card for almost 6 grand, furniture with no interest for a year, and they went with whatever price we could find that was the lowest for our items. We saved almost a thousand dollars between discounts and price matching.

We walked in and the guy asked our name. Don’t know why that’s relevant. We came LOOKING for desks and we asked where they would be. The guy said that they are all around the store. Obviously a tactic for us to look around. Then while we were walking around, he was following us from afar and watching what we were doing. I hate that whole stalking thing. He followed us mostly the whole time. We tried to sneak out so he wouldn’t talk to us but he still got to us fast enough. Not going back ever again.

Purchased a dining room set in July looking for delivery mid Sept. Knowing the current delivery issues we asked the salesman if the set was a problem. The rep looked us in the eye and assured us this particular set was not an issue receiving. With that assurance we ordered and were required to pay in full for the set and delivery charges. That assurance turns out was an out & out lie! I've yet to be contacted by anyone from Ashley. I've checked twice on my own and received two different dates. First and last purchase from Ashley. Buyer beware!

We’ven without living room furniture for a few months because the set we ordered got too delayed. Stopped here because of sale. Jeff’s first question was if I only wanted to look at things available which saved oodles of time. I found what we wanted. My only bump was being available didn’t mean immediate delivery. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience.

The Salesman and the furniture store was fantastic. Ordered our furniture at the beginning of July now it's going to be possibly delivered in December outrageous. Never received a call for delays I've checked 4 times .Every time I check it's further and further out.
Can't rate the furniture because I have not yet received it and won't since I'm canceling my order. Bought and paid for it mid-June with a promise of delivery mid-August. Then a promise of mid-September. Today they had no clue of a date but said it was looking like 2022. You only find this out if you call. No heads up from them that they won't meet their delivery time. If they give you a potential delivery date, you might as well assume an additional 6 months. Of course they don't tell you this when you are buying it. They claim you get a full refund. Hopefully at least this is true.

We ordered new furniture in early May. We were told that it would be delivered in late July...then September 7...then September 11...now December 10! They required all money up front. So, for 7 months they have our $ and we have nothing!

First the bad: I tried to call multiple times and no one answered. I talked someone not with this location and they told me Ashley didn’t have the piece of the sectional I wanted anymore. I am stubborn and went to the store to find out. The Good: the person at the store was super helpful, found the piece I needed, and ordered it. Quick efficient process. No fifth star for the bad. No answer on 4 phone calls almost had me buying elsewhere.
Found a great selection of mattresses at Ashley Home Store today. They beat the local competition for price, with great service. I hadn’t been in there before, but I’ll definitely be back when I’m ready to make another furniture purchase.

I went into Ashley store today seeking decorating items to give my house some additional style! Yes I love to just walk through the store looking at the furniture as well as pieces that add style to the tables , shelves etc. The way the store is decorated gives me additional ideas to make my home unique. I had to buy the bookends that were displayed on a shelf. They were exquisite! Additionally I had to buy another object that was too tempting to not miss. Both customer service representatives were very helpful. I was told both items were on sale which made them more exquisite. When I got home, I told a couple of friends about Ashley Homestore!
I went to the store to look for a couch. I was greeted by a associate who was very helpful and showed me where they were. I found what I was looking for. My questions were answered and sale went through.

Wasn’t sure what I was looking for in a living room sectional because of all the great variety they have in the show room. Definitely going back this afternoon with my measurements in hand to decide on my new LR sectional.

I have tried calling this store for weeks and no one answers! It rings probably 10 times then sounds like someone hangs up because I hear a click. I live out of town a good 30 minutes. I had some questions about an item that is not online and before I drove all the way in to town to verify my questions I had I thought I would save myself time and gas. Poor poor customer service if you can't even pick up the phone!

If I could give zero stars I would. Placed my order in December of 2021, considering the circumstances I understood it would take a while to get it. Finally in July I get a call that my furniture is ready to be delivered, well I move into my new house August 11th so I asked to push it. They told me it was no problem. Next thing you know I get a call that it won't be delivered till October at the earliest because I denied the delivery?! No I didnt, I moved it with permission!!! You can't get a hold of this store no matter how many times you call, no one answers, customer service can't do anything. I have spent so much money here in the past, I will NEVER buy anything from you again and I will let everyone know how terrible of a company you are. Do not recommend.
Disappointment can’t even begin to explain our experience. We moved to the area, needed quite a lot of new furniture and spent a SUBSTANTIAL amount of money here to furnish our whole house. The rep told us Ashley makes their own furniture, therefore they don’t suffer from the same delays other than maybe 5-8 weeks. That was back in April. Now after having everything delayed for a 3rd time and some pieces pushed back to September and October. Do you think the rep would communicate with us? Nope, just dodges our emails and let’s their customer service team handle it. Blatantly, we were lied to, in order to make a sale. If I could give this experience 0 stars I would.
Ally helped us find just what we wanted. She was extremely helpful even though she knew we weren't going to buy the furniture from her. (We are from out if state so we have to go to a more local store). She wrote everything down for us so we can find what we picked out when we are ready. There was a huge selection and it is quality furniture.

The customer rep told us to go in store to cancel a item. Go into older man only cared about us picking a new item. We stated nothing from that store would fit. The old man stated Male Manager would cancel the item Monday! Tuesday get email about delivery and I followed the steps of e-mail. An female csr stated she didn't see a cancel. Take place and we called store and personal number given no answer! They want our money so bad they are willing lie to keep it!
If you are looking to purchase furniture and take reviews seriously; do NOT purchase furniture from Ashley‘s. We had anything but a positive experience. I wish I would have listened to others when they warned me to not purchase from Ashley‘s. Unfortunately, I am now aware as to why they have received multiple negative reviews. We ordered furniture and the timeframe for delivery has been anything but consistent. They are a dishonest company and will do whatever it takes to get a sale. After a few months, we are still waiting for our furniture and have had a horrible time with communication from customer service. It is also extremely difficult to get a hold of anybody in the store via phone. I am nervous about the quality of the furniture and the service we will receive whenever it is delivered. Save yourself some time and visit other furniture stores.
DO NOT even step foot in the store. You will receive dishonest service just so they can get a sale. Worst retail experience I have ever had. We have been waiting for pieces of our furniture for a few months. We have been given many different answers. No one in customer service is on the same page and no one will answer the phone in the store. We were warned by many to not purchase from Ashley's and I quickly found out why. It is unfortunate, but the only thing I can do now is to provide my review wherever possible and warn others of the experience they'll receive. I'm not looking forward to the generic/scripted reply that they will provide below.

Good selection, poor customer service. We walked through the entire store and were not even greeted by one single employee. It was almost like we were judged by our casual dress, like our money was not good there. We will never go back. Shame on them.
We went in looking for just couches but ended up buying a sectional, 2 smaller sofas, a bed and a dresser. Sandra in Rockford helped us and did an amazing job. She made it all so easy.
Super friendly staff, they know their stock. Unfortunately, the wait time for furniture is at least 12 weeks out, but they are able to schedule dates for delivery up to 14 days.

Been waiting 12 weeks for an entertainment center that I paid cash for 12 weeks ago.... I had originally gone into the store 3 separate times in the same day. Not once was told that they basically had nothing in the store immediately available until in the process of purchasing. I was told it would be 3-6 weeks tops, waited and called at week 8 and was told it would be an additional 4 weeks which is today June 18th. I received a text about my order being ready for scheduled delivery and told me choose the day that was best for me but had no options. They gave me a number to call to Schedule if there weren't any visible dates. Once I called I was once again told it would be an additional 3-5 weeks and I'm over it, I'm about to just cancel my order all together it's been a completely ridiculous process every step of the way and I'm not happy.
The sales department has not been trained very well when it comes to beds. They should be able to explain everything about a bed in detail when the price is almost $9,000! They also should be able to knock a substantial amount of money off of a bed that cost that much! How can anyone justify a bed at the cost of $9,000??? They were also told that we wanted all the items delivered at the same time, but they still keep trying to deliver just the bed without the furniture.

Update to my review: Ordered a living room set on April 11, 2021. Estimated delivery of 2nd week of June. Heard nothing up to July 6. Emailed person who responded to this review. Was told everything was going to be delivered except the end tables on July 27. Got rid of living room furniture on July 24. July 27....no call saying what time furniture was coming. I called customer service first thing in the morning. Was told it was scheduled for that day. Had to leave for a family emergency but wife was home. Still nothing by mid-afternoon. Wife calls and customer service said it was scheduled but now is cancelled. Went to store and showed all the emails. Update I got today is Sofa will be here Aug 2nd. Recliner - Aug 31, Loveseat - Sept 17, Coffee Table - Sept 21, and End tables - Nov 2. So now I have NO FURNITURE in my living room and it is going to take another 4 months on top of the 4 months we have already been waiting. And knowing Ashley Furniture at this point.....these dates I am sure are not guaranteed. Covid is no longer a valid excuse. My wife worked in the furniture industry up to 2 weeks ago and there is not THAT much of a back log. DO NOT get furniture from Ashley. They are the biggest fraud of a furniture company there is.
Even though it will be a while before I receive my furniture, I’m so excited to say that the price never changed,they had my color, my sales lady was also me.
In 2015 we purchased our home and partnered with Ashley for our furnishings. We were initially impressed by Ashley's standards, quality, and marksmanship products. When we initially purchased through Ashley we ran into order delays and logistic challenges. We regrettably passed it as one offs, especially because we leveraged Ashley synchrony credit. Through 6 years of our relationship, we purchased, living room sets with tables, dining room set, server set, master bedroom set with nightstands and hanging lamps. We spent thousands of dollars with Ashley, yet continuously ran into delayed orders, orders not delivered when scheduled, damaged items delivered, damaging our items when coming to fix their damage items, issues taking the damage items back or not picking them up in a timely manner, calls not being answered or returned, incorrect information being provided in communications, negative attitudes from folks including management when requesting follow ups. We continuously worked with Ashley through the issues, partially because we had a longer term vision, and partly because we expected the issues to get resolved. The wishful thinking has come to an end, as Ashley has now delayed our 6yr old birthday bed and even worse, when communicating about this, Ashley has inadvertantly, in 3 communications sent us other customers personal and confidential information, including credit application details, financial history, social security and address details and much more. Our confidence in this business and in our personal information with this business is completely shot. We are shocked with our experience, and that our relationship will end this way, but more disappointing was our attempts to communicate with management, and their intent to minimize the criticality of this issue. Luckily we were able to escalate through headquarters a case, which was finally getting more visibility, however we will no longer shop with Ashley after our order is fulfilled, our confidence and trust has been breached and destroyed. This is not a customer centric or customer focused organization. They are more interested in getting the sale on paper work and can care less of the process or people in place to deliver afterwards. Their entire staff needs retraining and their logistic partners need a complete revamp. The customer experience, once you have left the store and signed paperwork is a nightmare. The floor staff, selling, are friendly and knowledgeable but we just wished they would have warned us to walk out, the moment we entered. This was a mistake and will not be our partner going forward. We still have an entire second floor of our almost 4000sqft home to remodel. Ashley has officially lost out.

I have been to the store 3 times now and on the phone with customer care and email over trying to order a replacement couch cushion. Just left the store after the 3 time and them saying they have no idea when customer care told me to go in to the store with the ticket#. Now just got off the phone with customer care and was told that store obviously does not know what they are doing I would recommend trying another store if possible. Pretty bad when their customer care says try another store because that one doesn't know what they are doing. Finally after emailing the store manager of the Rockford store he was able to get it and email me a bill and pay online so I didn't have to drive back to the store. Can't believe how long and stressful of a process it has been to get a couch cushion ordered and who knows how long it will take to come in.

Wish I could give it zero stars. I went in to look at couches and the sales guy (didn't get his name) was pushy and being very rude. He asked me what my spending limit was and told us that I will never find anything in their store unless I make payments on it. I could have gone higher on my budget but he didn't even give me the chance to say anything. He told me that building up my credit was for making monthly payments on their furniture and I won't find any other quality furniture like theirs. Glad I went elsewhere and gave my business to someone else.

Was a good service and was attended to by a representative right away and it felt very personable. Only one flaw my furniture is still in process stage and wait time for it can be up to 2 months more or less. Ordered on 3-27-21 the Sales Representative Vanera Lordkipani was very helpful even put in the 25% off that was coming on that weekend for me as a discount and wasn't pushy at all, had some suggestions,(I knew exactly what I wanted) but not pushy. The dates of coming into warehouse will fluctuate according to new updates and was last informed as on 4-28-21 that it would be in the warehouse on 5-4-21. Trying to give benefit of doubt and when my furniture arrives (I'm old school and don't leave alot of reviews and this decision was after reading other 1 star recent post) to my apartment and if it's damaged and I'm not taken care of immediately (within one week) I will ask for a refund. 4 stars will be 1 if it's that route.

Such a great selection at this Ashley's. I bought a couch and loveseat over 3rys ago. Now my girlfriend and I bought a whole new couch set, cocktail table and end tables. Vicki and the other sales people helped so much. Vicki was such a delight to work with. They work with you on finances and they have great promotions too!

We honestly have visited the Rockford Ashley store a dozen times before we finally made a decision. We Made the decision to return because we bought our dining room table from there almost 5 years ago and it is still in great shape. The furniture is great quality and very chic.

Don't order from here. I was delivered a tv stand that had broken parts. A month later I get no apology and still haven't been sent the correct parts to even fix it. I even got lied to about a refund I would be getting in the mail so I wouldn't cancel my couch order. Needless to say I called back and the couch is canceled. Won't ever go here again

I went in looking for couches and counter height chairs. I was able to roam the store and not get harassed by sales people which was phenomenal. Cindi S. who was really kind and asked what i was looking for she showed a few couches and let me roam the store a bit in piece. I loved it. All the furniture stores ive been at they would either harrass you or take me for a joke and ignore me. After roaming the store i noticed that Ashleys had the same counter height chairs that matched my table and i was able to buy them $300 cheaper than gufstasons. I love my experience and i loved how Cindi S. And the entire staff for that matter were all down to earth and let you shop and not stress out as you shop! I would definitely recommend at the very least stopping by talk to cindi and check the place out i saved a lot of money by doing so

Love the show room and how things are moved around . Brings light to something you may have missed. My experience was smooth, no hasels. I had visited the store several times to continue to look for what I wanted. The employees where very helpful and easy to talk to. Alos , the manager was also very helpful. The salesperson I had was horribly pushy, which I had the expectation when I went in there, but on top of that he was making sexual advances, which were incredibly unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Even when I came back with my fiance he continued to do so. It was sickening and kind of makes me not want to go back even though I need to.
I’m in the store trying to get An explanation and the mAneger is allegedly in and interview...Ive been waiting for 2 hrs and no body wants to help me...Ive been getting the run around since November 25...Ive never experienced such...I JUST WANT A REFUND 3k THAT I PAIDED IN NOVEMBER AND MARCH 10 th.. Terrible terrible terrible!! I Will never shop here again! Never told us our couch would take so long we ordered back in November 2020 everytime I called they gave me 2 week date of when it will all be there and when we heard nothing they would push it another 2 weeks.finally all the pieces came in. The guys came spent maybe 5 minutes at the most trying to get it in the building gave up and they took everything back to the store told us just to wait for a call. When they did call they just said we will get our money back and pick a different couch. Never shop with this company!
We were just going to look at furniture and shop around different stores for what we wanted. We liked what we saw and that the sale person was extremely great at showing the best of what we wanted.

We purchased two leather sofas with recliners from Ashley furniture. We were encouraged to purchase protection plan due to the cost of sofas (2400). We did so and have never been more disappointed in a company. We have tried many times to contact warranty company and no one answers. Called Ashley Furniture for help and was told nothing they could do. Have only had these sofas for a little over two years and have been well taken care of. There is no reason for sofa to be needing repair already. I will never recommend buying from Ashley Furniture, their product lacks quality.
If I could give it no stars I would. With everything going on with covid it’s INSANE how difficult they have made this process. I will not nor will ever be recommending purchasing or leasing furniture from this establishment. The stigma around Ashley’s which I thought was an exaggeration was CORRECT.
My boyfriend and I came into the store around 2 in the afternoon and we walked the store for around 20 minutes before we finally asked someone to help us. Employees and management walked passed us several times and never even said hello or really acknowledged us. Once we finally got someone to help us she was awesome! Thank you Allie M for all the help we really appreciate you!
The service was well. Only complaint it that we walked around for twenty minutes without anyone helping us. After we got helped the service was good and they helped us out a lot with problems that the online version of the store caused us. The store layout was very neat everything was broken up into sections and easy to shop.
We bought a bed frame that completely broke in less than a month and the guy simply tossed a number and said it wasn’t their problem. Bad furniture Bad service
Absolute worst store. Doesn’t answer phone, warranty desperate to doesn’t respond. Replaced my couch with another broken couch. Was told “I can keep accepting replacements and hope I get a decent one of choose something (that I DONT want) within the month”. Even got a second opinion that said the furniture was crap.

***UPDATE: This is more of a reflection on the company, not the Rockford location. If you're going to buy from Ashley, you should plan on waiting a long time before you get your furniture delivered. It's been 65 days since I purchased a sectional from Ashley HomeStore. I was told 6-8 weeks for delivery, and it's been 10. Talked with an online rep a week and a half ago, and was told that it would be delivered to the local warehouse on the 14th of April. It's the 19th, and I was just told again via online rep (after waiting a half hour on "chat hold") that it was now possibly the 24th before the warehouse would see it, and they didn't really know. This isn't a "build to my exact specs" sectional, and I am BEYOND disappointed that it is taking this long to get a piece of furniture delivered. At this point I am not loving the fact that I had to pay for delivery. The last time I bought furniture (from a different business in Rockford) it was delivered for free, and also in about a week's time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Very helpful staff, friendly and not "pushy"

I at first gave this store a 5 star review for the great customer service I had when placing an order in person in the store. What a mistake it was ordering from here. I got a tv stand and coffee table delivered. After the delivery guys left I noticed part of my TV stand was broken. I called that night and complained. I was told it was to early to open a ticket on the item and to call back tomorrow. I called back the next day and was told someone would have to come look at the TV stand. A week later a guy comes and says that no one from Ashley's even told him what was broken and he had no parts to fix it. He said new parts needed to be ordered. Here we are weeks later and I've been sent 2 incorrect parts. I also tried to cancel my couch order and was told I woke be mailed a $200 check to keep the rest of my order. Tonight I'm told no one was ever mailing me a check and I was lied to. So I'm stuck once again waiting for a part to fix my TV stand and no real apology from the store. Needless to say I cancelled my couch order and will never buy from this company again.

If I could rate Ashley HomeStore a 0, I would. I am moving for a job to the St. Louis area. My parents and I went into the Rockford store on Jan 22, purchased a bed frame, box spring, and mattress. We were told by the salesman, Marco, and the manager on that date (not sure of the name) that it could be shipped out of the O’Fallon, MO store no problem. It would take 4-6 weeks which was perfect timing, and when I found an apartment to move into, I could call and they would update the address and everything would be fine. On January 27, I received a text message telling me my order was in and ready for delivery. I had my mom call since I had not gone and found a place to live yet. The woman at the calling center in TX was super helpful, left notes in the file, and said it was not an issue. On Jan 30, I found an apartment and signed a lease, called the customer care line to schedule delivery for feb 6. that night and they told me my items would not be in until Feb 8 and 10. That confused me due to my text message I received. I pushed my move in date to the 13th. The man at the calling center in TX said he updated my shipping address and delivery/setup would be happening that day. He told me I would receive an email or text message with the time block the delivery team would be coming to set up everything for me. Today, feb 10, I still had not received an email or text message so I called the same phone number that I had called before. Ciara, the customer care rep, told me my box spring was back ordered to the 22 and my mattress the 16. None of this makes sense. She said I would have to talk to the store and would not help me any further. So my mom and I called the Rockford, IL and O’Fallon, MO store a total of 43 times and it would ring 9 times, then hang up. I called 3 different corporate numbers I found and did not get any help from them either. It took me searching the internet, finding a previous employers LinkedIn profile, finding them on Facebook, and messaging them for my information to get forwarded on. This is absolutely ridiculous. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Information was never consistent. Working in the customer service business, I am embarrassed for the owner and managers of both of those stores. I will NEVER be ordering anything from Ashley HomeStore ever again, and my parents will be going to the store tonight to fix this issue and get our money back.
We went in just to look and ended up with a new bet set. Will Smith and Marcos López were so helpful, personable and kind. We can't wait to sleep in our new bed.
The sales representative was very kind and considerate and took her time to make sure all of our questions were fully answered. She was patient with us as we debated what would work best for our family and she was knowledgeable with all the specs of each piece. She was also able to help recommend which pieces would be best for us having little children that would last with the wear and tear.

I originally gave this store 5 stars, based upon the buying experience we had there. However, the delivery of our furniture, did not go well. We bought a motion bed and mattress set, and paid for delivery and setup. They delivered the bed, but said the guys who delivered the mattress would set the bed up. Two weeks later, the mattress was delivered, and the guys refused to set the furniture up, saying the guys who delivered the bed should have set it all up, despite the mattresses not being present - which made no sense. We bought a split king motion bed - and it did not function at all. Further, one of the movable foundations was USED - the box had been re-taped, the foundation had cat hair all over it (we don't have any cats, my wife is allergic), and again, it did not function. The manager REFUSED to take responsibility, blaming the delivery guys. As of right now, we have no functioning bed, and no answers from anyone at Ashly. AVOID BUYING FURNITURE HERE, unless you don't wish to receive what you've paid for.

We spend 8 grand in this store the sales person was great but after that it fell apart After 6 weeks they started calling us saying our mattress was in we told them we asked for everything to be delivered on the same day (this happened 3 different times)a few weeks later we stopped into the store because we had gotten a call says our items were in to set up a delivery time we were on hold for 45 minutes no one answered we go to the store to find out only half of the order was in still missing the dresser & the mattress 😜 we didn’t here from them until last we everything was in they would deliver on Wednesday between 3-6 6 came nothing 630 we called they said 645 so 645 came we called at a7 15 no one picked up until 730 they said the truck broke down things happened we understand that but not one time did they call us to say they were running late or broke down if week don’t get out complete order in perfect condition we will cancel it 8 grand to us if a lot of money but they don’t seem to care the store didn’t help because they just seek the furniture but you can’t call unless you want to be on hold for a hour Update we got our bedroom set the delivery guy spit on our floor didn’t wear a mask the rails were damaged they left the mattress out in the snow saying it would not fit they didn’t take the boxes had to reorder the rails My husband & I got the mattress into the garage Then him & my son got the mattress into the house so now we wait again for the rails so if u are reading this CANCEL your order
If I could give zero stars, I would.. They literally took money out of my account, said my mattress was coming, and then cancelled my order.. without notification. So, I went to a different bank account I have, and ordered it again. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that it could have been a system error. Now I have placed an order for my mattress for the second time, this time, I paid for the bed twice in the same transaction but different days, and they also put holds on my account every 6 days for the amount of the mattress.. then they would remove it and do it again. THEN, one day they didn't remove the charges, after consulting with my bank we left the financial situation on hold until my mattress was received. We did that because Ashley Furniture kept insisting that they didn't take out the money twice and I got tired of arguing with them. 2 months later my bank is now filing a dispute to get my money back, which can take up to 10 days.. This has been time wasted speaking with people that can't help you and they are always right and the customer is wrong. I will never order anything online from Ashleys Furniture again. I suggest to anyone who is looking into purchasing from online that they take the time to read the fine print and watch your bank account closely so you don't pay for what you purchased more than ONCE, and don't get me going about how long you have to wait on hold to speak with a representative, only to be told you're wrong.. please read the fine print..

Horrible service. Took over 16 weeks for all my furniture to be delivered. When delivered they left a random piece that didn’t even belong to my order and took another 6 weeks to come back and pick it up Didn’t even remove the plastic from the furniture and trying to get a hold of the store is impossible.

On September 23rd my son and I went into Ashley furniture because he needed a bedroom set and I wanted a sectional and dining room table. It took us about an hour to make our decisions on the items we wanted. I paid cash for mine. My son did his own thing. Our salesman took 2.5 hours writing up our sales because he insisted on telling us his whole life story and continuously answered his personal phone calls while we were sitting there! Our blood pressures were so high, we just literally sat there, sweating bullets under those hot lights....anxious to leave! He tried adding on furniture protection ($300 more) after I clearly told him there was no need for that since I live alone. (Thank goodness my son caught onto that.) Toward the end, the sales guy told me it would be 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Since then, I've been told several times that there are pieces of the sectional in the warehouse now, but they're waiting for the other two pieces to come! (Same excuse I've seen in these other reviews) Every 2 weeks they tack on more time! January will be 4 months with no sectional! Ashley, your apologies and excuses are stale. I've read a lot of the reviews and so many complaints are just like mine! I'm sick of it and will get a refund if I'm put off one more time. Don't sell the stuff if you don't have normal access to it!!!! I'm so glad I was talked out of the dining room table! I would've straight snapped out spending all of that money and receiving nothing!!!!
Terrible service & customer service I ordered a Queen size bed back in September was told it would be here the 2nd of Jan. Now Im being told the 6th of Jan. When I never set that date up. These guys are a total waste of $ I wouldnt waste my time with them. None of there merchandise is in stock. Overall theyre just pure unprofessional

Just had a wonderful experience after a visit to two other stores in Rockford. Eve was awesome when we first arrived and showed us what we asked for. Told her we had an appointment at another store down the street so she gave me her card. Went to other store and was treated like we were a burden. Got back in car and headed back to finish up with Eve. When back at store Eve was busy with another customer so Alex stepped in to cover. Alex completed the sale for Eve. Wonderful service and customer appreciation.

Three weeks after delivery I am still waiting for my furniture to be assembled together. The company keeps insisting my phone number is wrong on the account and they have no record of me calling them when I did call almost every three days, because I let them resolve the issue every 72 hours which I was told to do. Further action will be taken to the company if this issue is not completed for incompleteness of a product provided by a company that the customer, myself, paid for and yet not received services.My mom and I have been calling nonstop with Ashley Furniture HomeStore to assemble this last piece of furniture that the movers refused to put together based upon delivery. As of today, my mom called them again as they promised to call us back within 24 hours, the woman was brutally honest that Ashley Furniture HomeStore will not be coming out to put this together and will not be holding any responsibility. I was told that I would get a refund of $1,100 for my delivery fee, but instead I get $100. Any advice how to take action against the company or even legal advice for not doing their service for the customer, myself, that I paid for. Blow this up to Ashley Furniture HomeStore, because they are not the 1 Mattress and Furniture Store they claim to be.

I like the mechanisms in the recliners and the salesman wasn't high pressure. The prices were nice compared with other stores. the value for the price was much better at this store compared with a high-priced store that I went to. this was not cheaply made Furniture either.
Terrible customer service! Spent lots of money here over the years and just tried to purchase a new couch. Well 6 months to get a couch is insane after they told us 8 to 9 weeks! They have been nothing but rude and will not talk to us, and their corporate office has been passing our phone calls around then hanging up. Managers in the Rockford store stated that they would talk to corporate and iron out dates because everything kept changing and that never happened either. I would not buy a dog bed from this company if it was an option.
Ongoing excuses and delays in getting our furniture. we are approaching 3 months - crazy. And the worst part is that not one person I have spoken with cares to resolve the problem or think through options. And when I called the store directly, I was on hold for and extended period of time and then it just hangs up on you.
Marcos was so knowledgeable, helpful and fun to work with. We are so excited to receive our new Tempur-Pedic mattresses. He took the guess work out of what we needed.

Carbon copy of the other horror stories about Ashley... Purchased in August, zero communication from the store, multiple calls to the store and never an answer, always on hold for 20+ minutes before giving up. Multiple delivery dates for various pieces of our sectional, dates changing each time we emailed or went in to inquire. After emailing the “feedback” address there was finally some movement and commitment concerning delivery days. Now a few weeks after receiving we noticed a tear in the back of one of the pieces, may have happened during the late evening delivery which was in the dark because the crew was overbooked and running 6+ hours past the latest time of our delivery window. Since we purchased the protection plan we figured no big deal and we would just file the claim for repair. Tried accessing our claim account online and none of our information was recognized so called, again none of our information was anywhere to be found for the protection plan we purchased. The gentleman was very helpful on the phone and took all of my information and the claim information, saying he would get it entered and follow up with us soon. That was two weeks ago, reached out to the last Sunday and no response. Now reaching out to both Ashley and the person from the “feedback” email that previously helped with the delivery issues. At this point I just want a refund on the protection plan so that I can have it repaired myself and never have to deal with Ashley again. I cannot believe this company is still in business.
Associates were very helpful, many options to choose from. We walk out happy with our purchase! Store comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines . Just have to wait for manufacturers to deliver it! 😝Hopefully soon!
Came in with a plan and thanks to an amazing offer and incentive and the salesmanshio of Jeff mybfamiky and I will have new living room furniture right after Christmas. Jeff was thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable. You may be my knew first choice in furniture shopping. One draw back is the hefty delivery fee, that really should be free.
Great customer service. I totally recommend everybody to buy the warranty. My dog "accidentally" ripped one of the corners of my couch and they fixed it.

My delivery experience with Ashley Furniture was the worst experience I&'ve ever had than any other company. First off, I ordered my items in the beginning of August and did not receive them until November 19th, 2020. Although, my items are incomplete. Where to begin. Once they arrived, they brought most of the boxes upstairs without being professional, because they were yelling at each other while I have elders living downstairs. Once they brought up the majority of the items, they told me that they are done for the day with boxes everywhere. I said what&'s your supervisors name and they told me to call Ashley Furniture customer support. Next thing, they are telling me they do not have the tools for putting the items together. Once I got on the phone with Jason, he said that every order comes with its own tools for everything to be complete. They completed everything with the exception of the TV Stand with the fireplace insert, and the handles of the bed storage which they told me I&'m responsible to put together. The other photo consists of my accent chair sitting outside, opened while they were working inside. I had to watch it during night time just to make sure there were no damages or inconsistencies that could happen since we do have wild animals at night time. Another photo consists of trash left at my condo that I had to clean up after they left. During this whole time, one of the movers did not follow the CDC Guidelines of Ashley Furniture and did the wear his mask, but the other mover did. Both my parents are victims of COVID-19 and my mom is currently hospitalized. I explained this situation to the guy who did not wear the mask, and he did not seem to care. I went to Ashleys Furniture in Rockford, IL, to speak with the manager of the situation and created a report of what happened. He was very kind and understanding. This morning, November 20th, 2020, I called Ashley Furniture to talk to a lady who was very rude to me over the phone and told me just to submit the photos to <a href="mailto:grtphotos@ashleyhc.com">grtphotos@ashleyhc.com</a>. So I did, then in called corporate to explain the situation and the lady was very kind and understanding and was able to answer my questions and even give a reimbursement of my delivery fee. Overall, I cannot believe I experienced this horrible service from Ashleys Furniture since we have always went there. They have lost this customer and my family will not return. From now on I will stick with Gustafson Furniture.
I will never order from Ashley furniture again! I ordered my living Room furniture Labor Day weekend promised to be here middle of November. Spoke to an unhelpful girl on Tuesday of this week who didn't want to be bothered with questions she stated they would be calling today to setup time for Saturday delivery. I just called for delivery time because I hadn't heard from anyone sat on hold for over 20 minutes again!! They don't even have my furniture yet!!! Now tentatively a partial of my furniture Dec 1st and December 16th. No furniture for Thanksgiving!! My son ordered from Furniture Row he received his in 3 weeks
My husband and I were planning to build a house and went into Ashley to purchase furniture for our new home. Venera Lordkipani was who we worked with and she was fabulous. She showed us many options once she heard what we were looking for. In the end she got us a great deal. After a couple months we found out the price to build our home Increased by $250,000 more then what we were originally told 3 months earlier due to Covid. So we made the difficult decision to not build and purchase a home. We ended up needing half the furniture we had purchased due to purchasing a furnished home. I went in and worked with Brian Binek to “return” the purchase we didn’t need and get a credit since our furniture had not been delivered it was a very easy thing to do. Venera came by during my conversation with Brian and wished us luck with our new plans. I would recommend the Rockford Ashley Furniture store to everyone! Thank you for all you did for us during this stressful time! It was a pleasure to work with all of you!
UPDATE: If I could do zero stars I would. Got a response back from the feedback department saying we would have both missing pieces on November 17. I emailed back to confirm, twice, and got no response. My husband called customer service to confirm and was told they only had one piece and would not schedule a delivery for the separate pieces. Now they tell us December 2. I'm not holding my breath. This has been an absolute horrendous experience. We ordered this sectional in July. Sales associate at the Rockford store was fantastic. That's where the satisfaction ends. We ordered our sectional mid July. We were told delivery end of September. Told in September delivery would be October 22nd. Called the store October 21st because we hadn't gotten a confirmation call and they told us the chaise was not in the warehouse, so no delivery was set. Called back the next week and was told the chaise was in but not the corner piece or ottoman. Funny how that is not what they said the week before. My husband requested delivery of all pieces that they had in the warehouse and they were delivered November 2nd. My husband called the store today inquiring about delivery for the last 2 pieces today and he was told the status on the order was that there was no status. What does that even mean? We will NEVER order from Ashley again. We understand COVID has put a damper on everything, but our friends ordered a similar sectional from a competitor, special order, around the same time and they received the whole order over a month ago. We do like what we have received so far, but if we do not get the other 2 pieces soon, we will want to return for a full refund.

It has been a seamless process throughout from start to finish. The salesperson was happy to greet us and let us shop throughout the store, and found us whenever we needed to be accommodated. It was a deal we couldn’t pass up based on how the competition was offering. Plus, during this time in COVID, they are still able to ship to our house in a reasonable amount of time - within 3 weeks! Instead of months out from competitors. We qualified to have 25% off our purchase, and it was thanks to the help from the manager there. At first, there was some disagreement with our purchase but she was able to address our concerns, explained things clearly and made the process easy while being calm, collected and sympathetic. We recommend Ashley HomeStore and this particular location in Rockford, IL if anyone is in the market for furniture. The company has the infrastructure in place to be the leader in the market to make the shopping experience seamless, no matter the economic environment. Thanks to those at this store that made it fun!
Worst experience I've had at a furniture store. I purchased a bed frame and I have been contacted to schedule delivery dates. They have come to deliver 3x in 2 months and every time is incorrect or damaged. 1st time, the deliver guy said it was the wrong bed. 2nd time, the delivery guy said the box it came in was damaged and so was the parts. 3rd time, delivery guy says "I'm sorry they send the same damaged boxed from last time. There is some badly broken parts." Are you kidding me, do damage parts not get put aside?. I continue loosing hours at work to waste my time to wait for deliveries. Does no one verify what is being loaded into the trucks? Obviously no one cares about customers satisfaction, as I did called 2 weeks ago and requested a note to be placed on my account to please verify the items, yet again someone is not doing their job. I want a refund now, I'm tired of being lied to and the supposed manager can't even give me a call back to have it resolved.

We order a living room on September 04, 2020 they told us it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get my sectional. They didn't provide any tracking number or any information on how can we contact to get status of my order, later on i was told it would take 8 to 10 weeks to get delivered. And today i called the store and they told me it might get deliver at the end of December. Seriously if they've told me ot wold take that long i would've gone to a different store.

I went into the store looking for a new sectional and walked out purchasing a new sectional and mattress. The store associate was very knowledgeable and took the time to fully explain the intricacies of the tempur pedic mattresses. I will be back in the future the next time I am in need of home furnishings.

I walked in to Ashley furniture home store and found all the things that I needed to make my home beautiful. I picked out a living Room set coffee table And end tables. I also bought A kitchen table set plus a bedroom set I used the same sales representative every time I went back to the store she was right there to help me in my decisions I really enjoyed myself and had a good time picking everything out. The Associate Sarah as well as the Store Manager were amazing . I purchased furniture for three rooms. My dining room set arrived in a week, however the rest are still on back order. I have called 3 times because I was given false dates. Today I continue to get untrue dates. It’s been 2 months now and have not gotten the truth yet. I’m tired of sitting on the floor. A co worker purchased furniture from a competitor after I purchased my furniture. She got hers in 3 weeks. My question is , why continue to have these huge sales when you can’t keep up with your orders. I give it another week , if not I’m going to move on. Worse experience ever. I understand the shutdown but other companies shut down as well. Never again will purchase anything from Ashley Furniture.

I want my order cancelled and my money back! I was PROMISED my order no later than September 19th! I understand it got delayed due to Covid-19 so don’t even use that excuse anymore!!! Then I was told October 12. Then October 26. Then October 28th. NOW IM BEING TOLD ONLY 2 pieces that they don’t even know what they are will be estimated NOVEMBER 24th!!! I ORDERED MY FURNITURE BACK IN JULY! Ashley furniture is horrible! My sales rep demanded I apply for financing when I told her I was paying cash for all of it! YES $3800 ! She said I could not reserve with applying for financing! That’s bull crap! But I get it she gets a kick back for it... well she only lasted another week before quitting so not sure what happened there! When I tried to cancel before they told me well good luck no one will deliver furniture right now. So I kept the order. Now I just want to be done with you guys! I’d rather go to Goodwin then deal with a company who clearly is just out for the money!
Wish I could give a 0 star. We ordered furniture for our new home August 7th, and told it would be here by Sept 4th. Then told it would be pushed back until The first week of October. Then pushed back to October 29th again to November 14, and now the 20th it’s been an absolute nightmare especially with a new baby coming any day now. Beyond frustrated 🥺
On August 4th I bought two small tables at the Rockford store. I was told that "due to COVID" they would be delivered in six weeks. Last week (7 weeks later) I began to try to track down information about my order delivery having received NO communication whatsoever from Ashley about my order. After 28 minutes on hold I was told that the order status could not be checked because the system was "down" . I was told to call back. I said that it would be better customer service to call me so that I did not again sit on hold. The person promised to call me back. Five days later...no call back. I am now "on hold" again with the store 40 minutes and counting. I tried the overall Ashley help number and the online chat feature and was transferred multiple times in both systems waiting on hold several times as well - no help. I tried Facebook chat. Someone did give me a case number and promised a call back in 48 hours. No call back. I am in disbelief regarding this complete lack of customer service and lack of concern about helping a customer who has questions as a result of no communication from the company. Ashley has had my money for two months and I cannot even get information as to the delivery of my items. I have sent an email to the email addresses I see in these responses to reviews - no responses. Honestly, what else does a customer have to do? This is beyond disappointing. UPDATE: 10 weeks in and still no merchandise - did get a voicemail from a "escalation department" team member indicating that the items would be shipped October 29th (that's 12 weeks from purchase), but then got another vmail from another "team" member indicating that these items would "not be available anytime soon". A third "team" member called and indicated that they were "working hard" on this "situation". I'd like a refund. Ashley - you've had my money for 10 weeks and I still have no items or information as to when they might arrive. Please do not offer me "store credit" as this terrible experience will be not only my first, but my last with this company. Please send a check or money order to the address on my invoice. FINAL UPDATE: At 11 weeks I finally received a refund - now the merchandise is unavailable. I don't even know what to say. This type of business practice is dishonest and deceptive. BUYER BEWARE - the lack of communication from the company and the extremes a customer has to go to in trying to get help are red flags. Why doesn't the store have staff to answer the phone and help customers?

What a pleasant experience! Eve greeted us and asked us if we needed help, we told her what we were looking for and wanted to look around. She headed us in the right direction and said she’s available for questions. We found what we wanted, I then went to Eve and she told me about the BOGO. Well, I was very happy about that, no high pressure. I really wanted this other piece and when she told me it was a no brainer. Eve was wonderful she explained everything and we were in and out in no time flat had extremely happy with our purchases. Thank-you Eve, you made this a great experience.
I ordered a couch in June and it was supposed to be delivered in August. It is now October and I still won’t be getting it for another few weeks. The communication is absolutely terrible. I have tried to call the Rockford location multiple times to talk to them but no one picks up. I have called the corporate line a few times and each time i was on hold for over 30 minutes and nothing was resolved. They told me the Rockford location would give me a call within 24-48 hours and that was 3 weeks ago. 0/10 experience.

My husband and I got great service while visiting the store. We did not feel pressure into buying anything and was told about all the benefits like the 5 year warranty they have! We were helped by Jeff and he made the buying progress easy and fast. Would go again in the future to buy more furniture.

Unfortunately we had a really bad experience. We purchased our sectional at the beginning of June, we were told due to covid that it would be 4 weeks for delivery. Our delivery date changed 4+ times. We confirmed a delivery date for 8/14 and we took off work to be here for the delivery and no one showed up. Tried calling the store multiple times with no representative to speak to. We finally drive 25 minutes to the store for them to tell us they had to change the delivery date AGAIN to the 26th. We mentioned that now one called and told us this and that we took off work to be here for the delivery. The guy we talked to said there wasn’t anything he can do. So we finally get our delivery. Guy dropped one part of it, cracking the wood on the bottom. There are staples falling out all over the place. We are not happy and will not be going back again. Very bad service.
Terrible customer service. Ordered furniture in June. Was told everything would be delivered by August at the latest. Today, we received dining chairs with stains, an entertainment center with knicks on all sides, and they delivered a wedge of our sectional and the rest of the couch won’t be here until NOVEMBER! Still waiting for our replacement dining room table that came with scratches and a big dent on one of the leaves. I understand we are in a pandemic but this quality and service is ridiculous and unprofessional. And furniture that comes all beat up!? Can’t ever reach a manager at the store and wait on hold for customer service for over 30 min and no answer . Inexcusable.

I ordered furniture over 3 months ago with the first estimated time of delivery for 7/21. The delivery date has been pushed back over and over again. Finally had received a text saying 1-3 weeks.. that was 5 weeks ago. I talked to someone one the phone in store last week and the said this Tuesday it would be delivered and someone would contact me to set up a time. NO ONE tried to contact me like she had said so I called again... now they JUST told me the new estimated time is 9/22 but not all the pieces of my order will be here. First I heard of that. I understand these are crazy times but being lied to over and over is so disheartening. Preparing over and over again To move in our new furniture with the dates we were given so many times. I am 36 weeks pregnant and was hoping my furniture would be here by the time he’s here but who knows. It has definitely been a very stressful experience.
Great customer service, reasonable prices. Only downfall is the delivery fee. I’d rather be able to pick up product at the store I purchased it. Instead I have to pay a hefty fee to have it delivered from 2 hrs away. Just purchased a kitchen table with 150.00 fee and getting ready to purchase living room furniture and that’s a 200.00 fee.

Ashley contacted me back after my last update and offered me a $175 credit. As my couch cost approximately $700 and I&'ve done nothing but sit on it, I can only conclude, despite their claims to the contrary, that there was faulty construction on my couch. I believe it&'s only right that Ashley stand by their product and their warranty. As a result I&'ve declined their offered credit and going forward will be purchasing furniture elsewhere.

Well my entire house is Ashley furnished. After 14yrs of filling my house with this company. I have always went in knowing what I wanted to buy/get. Makes it a lot easier. The staff has always been very nice and knowing of the products on the floor. After this purchase I will have one room left in the house to fill (young boys room) that will wait a couple more years. I look forward to getting future furnishings as to start over again as the kids get older.

My wife and I stopped in to look at some furniture while we were in town visiting family. While we were there, we decided to look at the mattresses. Our sales associate Mr Lopez showed us all the different features and helped us decide what would work best for us. Since we were from out of state, they had to check to see if they could deliver to us. The manager spoke with the closest distribution center to our home town and was able to work out delivery for us at an amazing price. We are very pleased with our service.

I have been attempting to have a couch repaired that is broken for the past 2 months! it is finally sechdeuled for another 3 weeks from now. apparently that is the soonest anyone an show up. almost 3 months of having a broken couch! UNACCEPTABLE! I will not purchase from this company again. Apparently I cannot unrecommend so I have deleted and redone this. Incredibly happy with our experience today. There was a messed up order and Brian (office manager) and Sandra (sales) did a wonderful job making it work out for us! This was painless and a wonderful experience today...Thank you!!

Our experience was wonderful at the Rockford Ashley Store. We were greeted by salesperson, Allie who was so knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. She was not pushy or overbearing at all, which my husband hates and she had his attention right away. She showed us all the options and never once over sold anything to us. Then she brought salesman, Jeff onboard to explain the more about benefits of mattresses. Jeff was also very knowledgeable and helpful and most of not pushy or overbearing selling. Thanks to both Allie and Jeff we bought a beautiful king bed and Sealy adjustable cooling mattress.
I went to Ashley looking for a new dining room table and serve. The first time I visited no one bothered me, I walked the store and got ideas just like I wanted to. I went back on Saturday and the service I received was top notch. ViVi was patient and knowledgeable and she helped me get a great price on the set I purchased. She showed me a few other sets but I ended up with the set I had my eye on. Vivi was helpful and not pushy at all. I highly recommend this store.

This store is very warm and welcoming, even during the midst of this pandemic. The selection is vast in all fields from furniture to decor to art to even bedding and throws. I will explain why I did... not...provide a 5 star review... 1- this is a very large store and you can easily spend several hour’s browsing... and yet they offer zero refreshments... understandable that the water fountain was turned off... but having bottled water at minimum she be a must. 2-my sales representative portrayed obvious frustrations with me as I bounced back and forth on which bed I purchased, and the throw blankets pillows side tables lamps chair and ottoman. 3- I ended up spending $1300.00 and there was no appreciation even though the absolutely work on commission. 4-two items went home with me, one being a clear acrylic and gold side table. I requested from the very start... as I picked this 15 minutes of being in the store... to be wrapped in paper or bubble wrap or some form of protection... and had to request that several time’s... before the sales representative sighed heavily stating that all he had was some small plastic bags. 5.- 3 different times... corrections had to be made to my prices as he was over charging me on 3 separate items. Had I not demanded to see his tablet personally to review each item... I would have been over charged over $150! It was very obvious that he was very displeased with me. 6- When it was time for me to initial and sign everything after my credit card had been charged... the sales rep was again... frustrated that I wanted to actually...read... everything on these 3 sheets before signing and initialing. So in ending... id really wanted to potentially... cancel buying anything due to everything... and I learned that I would have to lose a 10% restocking/service charge.
Allie was a breath of fresh air! She moved the furniture around so that we could see what it would look like with a section of the sofa out. She was very sweet and personable. We bought the sofa because we loved it and we loved working with her! We are so excited to get our couch!!!

We went in to look for a new mattress. Ashley was our first stop of the day to check out mattresses. We were pleasantly surprised that the store manager (Tyler) came to help us with our questions. He offered a lot of help in the way of his knowledge of all the mattresses (how they are made, different levels of support, memory foam as opposed to traditional springs, warranty, etc.). He helped us find the correct mattress for our sleeping styles and made the entire process so easy. We ordered and have delivery set up and only had to visit one place! Wonderful experience! Well done!
When I walked into Ashley Home Store A staff greeted me. I was asked what I was looking for? I told her I was looking at a couch I saw online. She sent Mario over to help me. Mario was very polite and professional. I was able to purchase the couches I saw online and the color I wanted. I had a very good experience and I'll recommend my family and friends to go to Ashley Home Store when they need furniture.

Overall everything went very well and we're looking forward to getting our furniture soon. They have a ton of selection to choose from, but no prices on any of their tags. This makes it so you have to talk with a sales person. We had a nice guy that didn't check in on us too much as we walked around. Make sure you ask for delivery to the store, otherwise you pay $250 for delivery to your house. Lastly, the current wait is 6-8 weeks. Not the store's fault, Covid's fault, but unfortunately a long wait. We'll be back again, hopefully next time there won't be such a long wait.

Placed an order for a set and paid in full. We were told that 2/3 of our pieces were IN STOCK (which was a very large part of why we bought from here!). During the time frame that I had scheduled for delivery of the sofa, my sales person calls me and says it actually is not in stock and someone will get ahold of me in regards to my order..... that is ALL I got! I called the number on the paperwork that I received and all I could get out of the person on the line was that we are now looking at the end of OCTOBER for the sofa I already paid for and was promised to have YESTERDAY. I received a text from my sales person yesterday stating that someone from some department would call me yesterday.... still heard nothing!!! I’m beyond furious as I have a family of 5 sitting on the floor because I sold my old couch because we had a scheduled delivery date for the one we just bought. I posted my experience on my profile and this seems to be a common theme with Ashley! This situation is NOT OK
I called to make an appointment because of the COVID restrictions. I was greeted at the door at the appointed time. There was no waiting for a sales person. I was interested in purchasing a mattresses. Venera introduced herself as my salesperson. She was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all my questions. What I liked best about her was that she was not pushy. Venera provided me options and allowed me the time to make decisions that met my needs. I would definitely return to Ashley for my next furniture needs. Don’t forget to ask for Venera, she’s awesome.
The representative that helped us, Donovan, Was absolutely wonderful. He was patient & understanding & super helpful. I am very particular with my taste & he understood exactly what I was looking for & found it! He gave us different options & really tried hard to find something specific & even give options to modify it. Not only was he very efficient, but also very friendly & charismatic. I went into the Rockford store on Saturday 8/1/2020 and no one would help me. My wife and I were ignored when we walked in and the entire time we walked around. I have an Ashley card and was looking to buy a living set. Well because no one helped us we left and I didn’t my money at Bobs discount furniture. I will be canceling my Ashley card and will never shop there again

We purchased a sectional over the phone through an Aaron Brown in early July. We were told over the phone as well as through email confirmation that all of our pieces would be delivered on July 18th. We paid someone to be at our house to accept the delivery as we were on vacation. The only piece that showed up was the wedge. The person declined the wedge as this was not agreed upon. We spent four business days trying to get a hold of someone at ashley to talk to about the issue, but were passed around from department to department without answers. Finally after writing a poor review on BBB we were contacted by a Sharon Harris who told us our sectional would be delivered in its entirety on July 28th. We cancelled our camping trip in order to be here for the delivery. On July 27th we received the delivery confirmation for 11:15-2:15. At 2:45 on July 27th we were contacted by phone stating that all the pieces except the right couch would be delivered. We accepted the delivery confirmation. On July 28th, today, we are waiting for our pieces to arrive to which they never did. We are now being told that the delivery date is August 4th, only because we reached out to Ashley to figure out why our order was never delivered. This is completely unacceptable from a large company such as Ashley. We have contacted your online support, phone support, CARES support and Facebook messenger support without any avail. Once this sectional is delivered we will NEVER being doing business with Ashley again. They are a company whose word cannot be trusted time and time again.

I went to Ashley Furniture after having horrible experience with another store in the surrounding area. After speaking with the manager on the phone and Sandra in person I am so happy we chose to go to Ashley Furniture. Sandra helped me with everything I needed and she truly cares about her customers. I felt very comfortable and after I made my purchase I got a call letting me know it should be delivered in 5 days when originally it was possibly sometime in August due to COVID. I am so happy we chose to go with Ashley Furniture. We will be back to see Sandra to purchase bedroom furniture sometime soon. Thank you for all your help!

I give the score of 4. My wife and I arrived and noticed covid 19 signage and current sale info. Walked around for 20 minutes w/o being approached by any of the approximately 4 obvious salespeople. Eventually asked for help from two people working at a counter who summoned a salesperson. The person was knowledgeable and helpful. Completed a sale and offered a warranty through GBS Enterprises. I did a quick internet check and learned they are rated 1 star out of 5. Lots of nightmarish horrible reviews. Many over the same issues our salesperson warned us about ( animal urine, timely claims, etc ). I declined purchasing the warranty. Overall the items we purchased were quality and the 20% off sale made us happy customers.

Bought kitchen table and chairs 3 months ago, Bar stools actually. They are terrible. 2 broke, they don’t stay level on ceramic tiles. Can’t return them, even tho the sales lady said we could, must be bad training. we get the runaround from local store all the way to corporate as far as repairing or replacing. Not to mention all this happens during lockdown. Sent emails to have investigated 2 months ago and haven’t heard a thing. Bad experience from beginning to end.

If I could give them 0/5 stars I would. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience in every aspect. 1) we tried to order furniture online due to the COVID pandemic, and it was horrible using the App and also the online website. It would delete our cart multiple times and we would have to add everything back in. 2) we were unable to complete our online order-it said it would not accept our payment after we called our bank stating there was no issue-so we called customer service and were on hold for over an hour and they told us they could not help us place the order over the phone and the reason it wouldn’t work was because we used Apple devices and they could not help us out 3) the 3 attempted times we tried to submit the order online it said the order “failed” yet charged our credit card upwards of $5,000 and these charges finally fell off 5 days later 4) we also tried to get an Ashley Furniture credit card-Synchrony Bank sent the cards to the wrong house, then they put my wife’s maiden name on her card instead of her married name and we received TERRIBLE customer service from Synchrony as well-we could barely understand anyone on the line and they were extremely RUDE. My wife has used Ashley Furniture in the past, and due to this, we thought it would be a good experience again. However, it was awful, and I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to buy furniture from there. We went to the RoomPlace and had absolutely no issues, great customer service and better quality furniture. Ashley lost out on a sale and I’m sure it won’t be their last sale loss. I’m sure we weren’t first, and won’t be the last. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
i will never order furniture from you guys. i paid over 1700 for a bed dresser and night stand...the dresser came with no legs and they didn't even bring the bed. i been on the phone with customer service all day and everyone is giving me the run around. i was given mis information by sales agent kyle just to make a sale. no one told me that i wasn't gonna get the bed. no call from the agent, warehouse or no email from anyone. i am disabled and had my bed thrown out today cause my new bed was to be delivered today..you guys drop the ball with this one. i will never support you again. i am very disappointed.
I purchased a sectional three months ago, before the stores had to be closed for the covid 19 and here I am with ONE piece of my sectional 🤷 The other two pieces were the WRONG color, therefore had to go back and now I'm being told there's NOTHING no one can do for me until the store opens because they can't change the SKU #. This is ridiculous , I paid for furniture that I don't have and won't have for a while more It isn't the stores fault that they had to close BUT these issues began before the store closed and continued since they had to close. I've spoken to SEVERAL people and told SORRY nothing we can do , we can't even refund you your money 🤔 Beyond frustrating
WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I went in about 2 weeks ago with my 3 children looking to buy them some beds. I went in the evening at a non busy hour there were like 3 people in the store with at least 10 employees. We walked in without being greeted and there were two staff bear the entrance. We walked all around until we found the children's beds and looked around for about 5-10 minutes I was looking around for someone to help and all the staff kept far away pretending to be so busy. I then walked away and looked around at other furniture and then I finally decided I didn't want to give my money to a place where nobody even greeted me, let alone attempted to help me find what I came there for. So sad
We looked all over town and found a few couches we loved. Marcos was so helpful with our very specific tastes. very knowledgeable with stock, he didn't show us anything not in the criteria we asked for and no pressure. even though we didnt buy first time we returned to buy from him. great savings also

This store location has the rudest customer service I've ever dealt with. The manager doesnt have a clue what he's doing. I've spent over 10k at this store within 3 years and have been treated like a nobody. They constantly mess up your order. They've sent deliveries to the wrong address. They've delivered damaged items. They've forgot to deliver part of my order. I purchased their protection plan and had to file a claim. I've still never heard back from their protection plan company. We will no longer shop at this store and I wouldn't recommend it.

Hey gave us the freedom to try out the couches for ourself and then we were able to go to him once we made our decision. The workers were great!

Asked us if we'd purchased from Ashley Furniture before and we said no we hadn't. He then told us what first time buyers receive. Gave us an application to fill out if we decided to purchase anything. Looked around the store and found a livingroom set we liked. He seen us checking it out and came right over and told us information on the set. We purchased the three peice leather livingroom set. He was very professional and explained thoroughly the application process. He's got a great personality and a real pleasure to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone of my friends to ask for him personally if they were looking to make a purchase. After trying to get in touch with the store for several Months, and getting no where in return. I’ll no longer purchase from Ashley. And I have been a repeat buyer for several years. We bought a couch more than a year ago. And bought the protection plan to go along with it. Well our claims for our couch were repeatedly denied. So cancelled it and asked for a refund. It’s been 3 months and still no refund. You absolutely can NOT get through to the store via phone. It’s just rings and rings. It’s Covid outside, and I’m going to have to drag my 4 kids up there and cause a Karen. This isn’t customer service at all. It’s borderline theft!

Horrible delivery and even worse customer service. I had a sectional to be delivered to my house last Saturday, the delivery driver came 40 minutes late. Once in my home he told me I was wrong what I ordered was incorrect to what they have he said it was opposite. He then called customer service which was less than a joke. I was asked if I wanted to have the incorrect (from what they said) love seat part set up. I asked the delivery driver to bring the whole order in because even if it were backwards it would still actually work in my house. That’s when the fun started.... the delivery driver told me no, then began to talk about me with the customer service rep while standing on my porch and I could hear them both as the customer service rep was on speaker and obviously didn’t know she was. I left and went straight to the store where I spoke with a manager who advised me there was some miscommunication when I purchased the sectional that the way it was sold to me is not the way it would be able to come, so I advised her it would work the way it came but her delivery driver refused to bring it in my house because “if it doesn’t work I don’t want to have to take it back out” so the manager called to have them drop it back off and surprise... they couldn’t Saturday, they couldn’t Sunday. It is now Monday and my furniture won’t be here until Wednesday all because the delivery driver refused to bring it into my house. So I am here furniture less (my husband had already moved and got rid of our old furniture) until Wednesday. So needless to say it has been an all together horrible experience.

Ashley Furniture is the worse furniture store! We went on December 23, 2019 and paid cash for a new sectional living room set. They said it would be delivered on January 17th. I was a little surprised by the long delivery time but I was ok with it. Then they brought 2 pieces of the sectional on the 17th and told my husband the remaining sections were on backorder and would be delivered on February 12th. By now we were both getting irritated with it. We paid them $2100 cash for the furniture and thought it was ridiculous for it to take that long to receive our furniture. Then they called and told us that no it would not be delivered on the 12th because again it was on back order. And now they were telling my husband it would be delivered on March 4th!! By then I was extremely mad and called them to tell them I wanted a refund and they could come get the 2 pieces they delivered. They said that wasn’t possible because my husband let them leave the partial delivery!! This company is the WORSE furniture store!!

What I loved about shipping at Ashley Homestore today was their respect of our privacy as we did our shopping. We weren't immediately approached right when we entered, but just the right amount after. After that, some check-ins here and there while we browsed everything they had at our own pace until we were ready to buy. Once we were, the folks that helped us were personable and took the stress out of a large purchase like we were making. A lot of hidden deal finds, fun exploration and a painless purchase process. Won't be the last time we visit this location.

IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. My wife and I bought a dining room set and purchased the extended warranty. Found an issue with cracking of one of the chairs. Ashley states that since its not under their 1 year warranty that there is nothing they can do about it. The extended warranty company states that it is not covered, while the paperwork definitely states that it is. Called the store and no manager is available to speak to. Great Customer Service......fixing this would be a small issue a lot less than the money i forked out for the extended warranty. Sad that a company would rather make money and have disgruntled customers......

I purchased a recliner and love seat in the month of december and was promised with delivery date of 9th January. I just got my recliner and yet to receive love seat. My delivery dates have been 9th Jan, 15th Jan, 22th Jan and currently 28th Jan. I spoke to customer service now and they said it is postponed to 31st January. This is one of the worst companies i have come across. They are just cheaters and nothing else. Never buy from this store.

Was lied to on delivery and I had to keep calling the office and call scheduling. The communication was very poor and still waiting for rest of things.Coming middle of February bought November black friday. Pretty terrible service I could get going but why bother they don't care..Would like to talk to owner or a general manager would be appreciated
Seemed like a huge selection of home furnishings, we went in only to check out a new mattress. Staff was very friendly and quite knowledgeable about the diff mattresses which helped alot.
This store was great to us. They had a great selection of furniture. Dean and Shawn were excellent to work with. I ended up leaving the store with what I wanted at a very reasonable price. All and all it was a wonderful experience.

Wouldn&'t you think a direct ship would take less time, it&'s cuts out the middle man. Then, to get a manager or anyone on the customer service line to help you, is a joke! My husband and I recently purchased a bedroom set from Ashley Furniture in Rockford and we love it. Marcos helped us find exactly what we needed and was so friendly and helpful. The pieces we selected were being discontinued, so delivery was not available. When we arrived to pick-up our items, Josh was such a huge help! We've purchased furniture from Ashley Homestore in Rockford before and have always been pleased with the quality of the furniture and excellent service.
I wouldn't recommend to buy your furniture here. Personally I will never buy from somewhere that messes up my order twice, would you? Its the holiday season and our family were supposed to go on vacation but we can't because we have to wait for the wrong order twice now. Plus to add insult to injury they made an automatic payment without our permission, you don't do that.
Ashely does not provide Customer Service. No one picks up and when they do they either disconnect you or tell you to call another number.

When we bought our furniture they had to put or info in 3 different computers to get taken care of we spent about 5 hours in store we finally got our furniture delivery people were awesome but left huge mess of papers outside my front door after they left we found one of our recliners didnt close all the way I called the phone number on mon was told I had to take pictures and email them since then I got a call saying a package would be delivered and after it arrived I had to call to get fixed well package showed up tore to bits I called as I was told was told I couldn't schedule an appointment till tues cause no one would be I by the time this is all said and done I'll have a piece that I cant use for a month customer service has much to be desired
I recently went to the Ashley home store in rockford il and was helped by Maddy. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the furniture I was looking at purchasing. She explained the financing and pricing and payment options so that I understood them completely. Also was able to meet the manager who was very friendly. Overall experience was great. Love my new couch and thanks to all the staff who helped.
Today my fiance and I went in to look at sectionals. We were greeted by Jeff, one of the salesmen. After spending about 3 hours in the store, we left with purchasing a sectional and a TempurPedic bed. Jeff is a fantastic salesman! Very helpful and was very knowledgable. He really took his time to go over every option available to us. You can tell he's very passionate about what he does. I would highly recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone and would highly recommend asking for Jeff!
DELIVERY - Zero Stars - If the furniture arrives in good shape - everything will be fine. If its broken then get ready for the runaround and fight of your life to get the broken furniture replaced. Its unbelievable how much the delivery costs but yet they can get away with giving a customer the run around and taking forever to fix an issue with broken furniture. I have made so many phone calls with people saying they would help, but the issue continues. If this problem had been resolved in a satisfactory way they would be getting a good review.

We purchased a new sectional from here this past weekend. We were pleased with the sales women that assisted us. They allowed us to shop on our own and get them when we needed help. I will update my review, and possibly give five stars once the delivery and installation process is complete. As for now, we are very happy with the service we got in store. ***UPDATE*** The delivery gave a window from 1:45 to 4:45 pm. They showed up at 7:00 pm. That will keep Ashley from a five star. The furniture looked great, slight squeak in one of the arms, but nothing major. Overall it worked well and we are happy.

Their high quality products and GREAT customer service always exceed my expectations. This is the worst Ashley Furniture I have ever been to. The first time dealing with them was a nightmare. We went down the road to The Room Place and bought the same piece of furniture for less money and faster delivery time. Second time dealing with this location was better, but still not great. They forgot to ask for documentation and asked me for my email so I could send it to them. I gave it to them and didn’t get the email. Yes, I checked my junk folder multiple times. They called me again to tell me that they still haven’t received the correct documentation and they would put my delivery on hold until they received it. So, they are going to put my delivery on hold, still charge my card, because they forgot to ask for the proper documentation at the time of service?? Does this seem right? I explained to them I haven’t received an email from them and didn’t have a problem sending them what they needed, but I needed to get the email in order to do so. She said she would resend the email...still never received it. I called the store back, which usually has more employees in it than actually customers and waited on hold my entire 25 minute trip to their store. No one ever answered. When I got to the store there were three people sitting at the customer service desk staring at their computers. When I confronted them about the ‘putting my delivery on hold.’ The what I’m assuming is the manager responded with ‘well we might be audited and we need the proper documentation.’ I understand, but how is this my fault that THEY didn’t ask me for the correct documentation at the time of purchase. Never again will I ever deal with Ashley Furniture. The Rockford store should be closed or better trained. This location is giving Ashley Furniture a terrible name.
I purchased my sectional from this store. I did not notice that the sales representative messed up my order she ordered the incorrect color. I tried calling over the phone and I could not get a hold of anyone. I had to drive 45 minutes to the store to fix the issue. Now I have to wait 30 days to get my CORRECT order. It's a little upsetting because I waited so long to get a new sofa.
I purchased an entire house of furniture for a second home. The deliver experience is the worst I have ever experienced in over 40 years. They delivered wrong items, made many statements to correct that nobody followed through on. Did not return calls when they said they would. It is like the left hand says one thing and the right hand does something totally different. I still do not have all my furniture. A return phone call would be a nice touch to customer service.
The worst customer service ever!!! I have been trying to get a queen foundation replacement within warranty for over a month. When they finally scheduled after 20 phone calls they switched the date to their convenience although I had an email stating the correct date which they completely ignored leaving me trying to figure out how I would manage to get that day off work. Rude, incompetent people. It is all about getting money. Never buying again, will never recommend
Bought a sectional and recliner not even a year ago, and it’s already breaking down. I regret this. And I bought the extended warranty but they can never seem to answer a damn phone.

So my frustration lies with how my husband a week ago posted about our furniture issue on here and someone was able to respond to him right away that they need to make this right as fast as possible. I find it QUITE interesting because after going back and forth with now our THIRD attempt at getting our piece of the sectional that was damaged replaced and table that was broken, when they were supposed to deliver this past Saturday, they no showed. They skipped right over us, no phone call. I had to call the distribution center to find out they skipped us. We had to call the Rockford store, which Brian and Tess indicated to us that we would be getting a phone call back shortly to see what happened. An hour went by, no phone call, then my husband and I tried call the store for 5 hours and no one answered. I really wish I was exaggerating but this is a very true story. When I FINALLY received a phone call from Brian indicating that he was “busy” all day with calls and the store was busy and kind of giggled about it. No too funny when we are customer's that were supposed to receive furniture this day, and from 9-1pm sat at home waiting for no one. Apparently they had an overload issue and he stated it was the “distribution centers fault”. Then he said that they only come out to our city on Thursdays or Saturdays. I think that it is appropriate to say that if I was a company who messed up this bad – I’d do anything in my power to get our furniture to a customer that paid a pretty penny for them after 3 mess ups, no matter what day it is. I find it absolutely ridiculous that I even have to write a review after it was stated that we were going to be taken care of. We have yet to be “taken care of”. Such wasted time of mine and my husband’s work week AND two Saturdays for nothing. DO NOT buy from here.

Service department is not so hot seems they don't enter status on repairs and no one knows what's going on 12 days since they came and "orded"part "yet at the store no record of any parts ordered,on going for several months now even had me sit home all day waiting on service following day went to store to complain no record of the service date, guess you buy product and they just let you be in the wind Update. My wife and I regretfully bought a sectional and kitchen table + 6 chairs from this location. We ordered everything in the beginning of July for an August 1st delivery. From the said items we were able to salvage half of the sectional because everything else was damaged. I was supposed to receive a call to reschedule a new delivery within 24 -48 hours and I waited 4 days before I eventually called them to schedule a new delivery at the earliest date of August 22. They showed up just a few days ago with another broken sectional and broken kitchen table. I called the store once again and spoke to the manager who said he will get back to me within 24 hours to help with getting us new furniture and he ghosted us as well. I have yet to call them to reschedule a delivery, but I can confidently say I have never been treated with such little respect after spending nearly $4,000 of my money on a product. If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not buy ANYTHING from these people they will take your money and deliver you broken furniture. It's been a month and we still have half of a sectional. Never again
Purchased- dining room chairs/table, sofa, side tables and extended warranty. My experience was beyond terrible from dealing with the employee that helped me, management and warranty company. It took 2 months to finally receive undamaged furniture. (3 different deliveries, all damaged) I was promised 24 months @ 0% interest when using the Ashley furniture credit service. After just 12 months of payments I received a bill with an extra $700 tacked on due to the employee with an IQ of a McChicken screwed up the sale. This employee had to delete the sale and re-enter everything. Clearly.. messing up the month count. I called the credit card company and they said all Ashley Furniture has to do is update the sale to get the proper length of 0%. One call, that's it. The manger I spoke to was very rude and refused to update the sale even though it was their employee that made the mistake. Warranty issues- they do not stand behind their products. Period. The warranty is through a 3rd party. I had an issues with one of the springs breaking on the sofa and finally got someone to come out. This person hacked my sofa apart, attempted to repair it and failed. A week later it was the same issue, zero calls back and I'm still suck with a broken sofa. DO NOT BUY.
Ashley furniture the store is ok at best. Where they get you is on the delivery b.s. we had a sectional delivered and it was delivered but once they left we sat in it and reclined and the back completely broke not to mention part of it had the supply box missing for the power reclining. We called right away and of course Ashley furniture can't do anything because it's a 3rd party and than called the delivery company and they don't have a way to contact their drivers. So you know right when it's dropped off and who delivers what but you have no way of getting ahold of them on a phone. Doesn't make sense to me it's just a scam and it's not always true you don't get what you pay for because if that were the case I would not have a broken couch in my living room after having it for 5 minutes and no one wanting to do anything about it. Will never spend another dollar there and if I didn't have to pay another delivery fee and restocking fee to get my money back I would most definitely do that and go somewhere anywhere else.

This has got to be the WORST customer service I&'ve ever experienced... I&'ve been purchasing furniture from Ashley&'s for years and we just moved to the Rockford area, with this being their only location I didn&'t have much of a choice but to purchase from here. I love love love their furniture but I will definitely be holding off on purchasing anything else from Ashley&'s due to the lack of customer service here. I called like 5xs in a row to check on my next payment and no one I mean no one answered! My purchase it self was a nightmare! Management just does not seem to care.... I suggest someone from corporate comes down and shows people how to run this place because lord I don&'t see it getting any better!

Ashley Home Store has a great selection. The store is very helpful. But their customer service is the worse that I have dealt with in 40 years. When you call customer service be prepared to be on hold a mininum of 35 minutes. I have contact their customer service at least 4 to 6 times in the last 12 months and have been on hold for at least 35 minutes or more and than the customer service rep does not even have my appt. Also received two lamps in the mail from UPS that we ordered from the Ashley store that both times the boxes were smashed in. Actually had to return and have them deliver directly to the store where we had to go pick it up. Also when our mattress was delivered and the delivery guy was taking off the plastic with a utility knife he slit my mattress when I brought this to his attention he said "oh that's not to bad". Regardless of their great selection I will never ever buy from Ashley again.
Very upset that I saw an ad this morning went in to look at and purchase item if I liked it. Price was higher and I've always been taught that is bait and switch. Advertised item for one price then raised it in store. Was also told what I wanted was out of stock and was offered another product at higher price. Typical bait and switch. Will never recommend them to anyone again. Just to let you know had bought a sofa and two recliners the year before.

I have had the worst experience with Ashley Furniture today. First- the salesman messed up my original order and shorted me a nightstand. He verbally told me it was in my order but forgot to write it down. Next - the store manager refuses to call me back stating he is 'too busy' with new customers to help me. Finally - delivery helper was dropping furniture and hitting walls, when asked to be a little easier he ignored our request. Tried to refuse delivery but the drivers left without notice after I refused to sign. To boot - customer service line stated I had to wait for a call back from the store, and they still refuse to call me back. Maybe an email to corporate will help, but I am not holding my breath. Horrible experience, I would not recommend Ashley Furniture.

Went in to purchase a living room set. Found a few sets we liked. Ben helped us by running the numbers on sets we liked and helped us secure financing as well. He was very helpful and patient. Delivery was fast, on time and efficient. Delivery guys, Kevin and Robbie, were polite and even removed their shoes. Cleaned up quickly and removed all trash. Overall it was a great experience and I'm happy to recommend Ashley Furniture.

Walked out with a new dining room table and desk at 0% interest for 2 years! It arrived yesterday. Absolutely stunning! The guys that put it together were AMAZING! Went to the Rockford, Illinois Ashley Furniture Store looking for a love seat and recliner. Had the pleasure of having Kathleen as our Sales Associate. She was VERY professional and did not "stalk" as some associates do and was very helpful. I ended up purchasing a love seat and recliner and my sister purchased a new mattress and box spring. We met my niece for lunch after and her and her husband went to Ashley and asked for Kathleen and ended up purchasing a table. If it hadn't been for Kathleen, I don't know if I would have purchased at that point! Thank you Kathleen for being so wonderful.

I recently purchased a Tempur-pedic mattress from Ben. He was very very knowledgable and helpful. I also purchased the Porter bedroom set which he recommended. The delivery drivers were very respectful and nice. I highly recommend Ben for your furniture needs!!!
Thieves. We wont ever being doing business with this company again. We had them attempt to deliver a bed and frame but, the frame would not fit up the stairway. While one of the 3 men went upstairs to retrieve an iPad device they left, he robbed us. He stole a firearm that was stored in a case in a closet. After the police were contacted, an investigation was done that basically went nowhere as nobody from Ashley was willing to cooperate with the detectives and right this wrong. When I went into the store and spoke with the manager about it, she claimed that they were not responsible for the theft because they use a 3rd party delivery company. When I told her that was BS because the delivery crew pulled up in a Ashley truck and wearing Ashley uniforms, she stated that there was nothing she or the company could do and that I should leave it up to the detectives. A second attempt at delivery was scheduled and I spoke to the delivery company who stated that the same 3 guys would be coming back since each crew was assigned a certain area that only they covered. The detectives were notified and officers were placed inside my home and around the neighborhood to stop the men and question them after we verified they were the same men. Unfortunately, 2 different men showed up in a plain box truck and still couldn't deliver our bed or get us any closer to getting our property back. This has been by far the worst experience I've ever had with a company who would neither take responsibility or take action to right the wrongs that were done to us. I would highly suggest not ever doing business with Ashley Home Store unless you want to be robbed and taken advantage of.

My husband and I ordered the Porter California King bed.. It was to be delivered this morning. The delivery team called stating they were at the end of the driveway and had some concerns about the length and width of our driveway as we live in the country. I reassured the delivery team that we had recently had appliances delivered by semi truck that made it through the driveway just fine and there was a large turn around in the driveway as well. The delivery team stated they would see what they could do and would let me know. a few moments later I saw the Ashley furniture truck going down the highway, I tried to assume the best and that they were just going up the road to turn around and maybe it would be easier for them to turn the truck from that direction, but the Ashley furniture truck never returned. I tried to call the number back that they called me on and it would ring once and go to voicemail. I left a voicemail and called back a couple more times with no returned call. My husband and I then called the Ashley Furniture store in Rockford, IL that we had ordered the bed from and they stated that they could do nothing but email the distribution center because they are not allowed to contact the deliver drivers because they are third party. I told the manager at the store that delivery team called stating they were "Ashley Furniture" and drove an Ashley truck, he stated that they were not employed by Ashley. The store manager had not sense of urgency to deal with our problem and he also said the likelihood of us getting our bed today was slim to none. I again stated that this was unacceptable and that had the delivery team bothered to call back with any concerns my husband would have taken his truck down to the end of the driveway and picked up the bed. The manger stated he understood but all he could do was email. We were not offered to talk the distribution center or the delivery teams management. We have a mattress arriving and now have no bed to put it in. The only resolution they offered us was a refund, which I took. We will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley and we will be sure to let others know how little drive they have to please their customers. All of this could've been resolved if the delivery team had simply called back instead of just taking off. My husband and I took the day off of work to be sure we were available for the delivery of the new bed. We are extremely disappointed and will never be shopping Ashley again.
My husband and I ordered the Porter California King bed. . It was to be delivered this morning. The delivery team called stating they were at the end of the driveway and had some concerns about the length and width of our driveway as we live in the country. I reassured the delivery team that we had recently had appliances delivered by semi truck that made it through the driveway just fine and there was a large turn around in the driveway as well. The delivery team stated they would see what they could do and would let me know. a few moments later I saw the Ashley furniture truck going down the highway, I tried to assume the best and that they were just going up the road to turn around and maybe it would be easier for them to turn the truck from that direction, but the Ashley furniture truck never returned. I tried to call the number back that they called me on and it would ring once and go to voicemail. I left a voicemail and called back a couple more times with no returned call. I bought an expensive bedroom set from Ashley 3 years ago, and after 8 mos the foot board cracked and was replaced by them. Recently a long crack appeared on the night stand, thus the reason for me deciding to write this review. Of course when I called the first thing they said is I should have bought the warranty, but I already know this has got to be a problem accross the board, so I will be pursuing another solution. Also when I was shoppn for the set others reps at other stores told me they had been havn quality issues since they make all their own furniture.
Rose was a great help
After the sales person putting the fifty dollar 5 year protection on our new dresser we were buying without asking they made me wait 45 minutes to refund my money once I called them out on it. The worst service I have received in a while no one knew what they were doing. Not sure I will go back ever.
Beautiful furniture
Nice furniture but I just ended up wanting to buy a $20 chair. Cheap right? They also said there was a small delivery fee. Fine right? My total came up to $180. How?! I tried to cancel my order and the sales associate went to get help from her manager while holding on to my money the whole time she went to get help. Once the manager helped cancel the order, she said to me that they only come in cases of 4. The associate was going to order me a whole set when she insisted it was only one chair. Never going to an AFH store ever again.
I just left having walked around the showroom for a half an hour, picked out the sofa set I wanted and not one single associate said hello or stopped to see if I needed help. I left with my cash and will look elsewhere where business will be appreciated.

I had a great shopping experience with Ashley furniture. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, and my sales person was super nice and helpful. My bedroom set was delivered the other day, and I couldn’t be any happier! I definitely recommend shopping here.

Ready to sell but can’t deliver. Literally. I was moving to a new state and asked before purchasing if they could make this happen. Was told yes and bought over $3,000 of furniture. The day of delivery as I am waiting for my furniture to show up I get a call and say it was cancelled because they do not deliver to me!!! I had to scramble to buy all new furniture at another place last minute. Absolutely terrible service. I will never again but from Ashley!!
Few stuffs are cheap, few are costly. Find the ones that are really value for your money. They can offer 5 year Warranty if you wish to take one!

Promised twice to deliver our new furniture, and on both occasions we were let down. The store called us twice to tell us the items were backordered. This wasn't mentioned when we ordered it. They gave us a $50 gift card after the first cancellation. After the 2nd no-show, when we decided to cancel our order, they demanded that we return the gift card or threatened to NOT cancel the order! REALLY? Which mind you, they could not have done so legally. We have lost all confidence, and told them we will not return. We have since bought comparable furniture for $100 less, with FREE delivery. Goodbye Ashley.
