The checkout experience was extremely disappointing. First, I attempted to make my purchase on the Ashley website. Attempted several times in the website would not work. I use the virtual chat in that person told me that making a purchase on the website does not work. So then I found myself having to drive to a store, which I did not want to do. Once I got to the store, I already knew what I wanted, although I did change my mind about the chairs. The person that was helping me seem to have a lot of problems as well completing the purchase. He was getting error messages and then could not offer me the same financing that the website was. Also, the delivery fee from the store was higher than it was online. These are all things the person in the store had to keep correcting and had to walk away and go find someone to help him. In the end, it all worked out OK, but I was at the store much longer than I should’ve been.

Talk to you man Night before Going to the store. When I got to store I asked for the same man. He was called and he took me to the item I asked to see. He was very polite and answered my questions and said that it was in stock. He explained how much it cost with tax and delivery and how long for delivery. Very nice and upfront.

Nick at the outlet store. I do not like pushy sales people and he was not. He was present and returned every little bit to assist us and answer questions, but we did not feel pressured. We did feel that at the store in ? Batavia. We purchased from the outlet as well as the retail center. And the delivery was handled professionally and effieciently. Did have the white glove service which I am thankful for considering the size of our purchase.

Same exact experience as another review: "The older lady who works at customer pick-up is very rude and disrespectful. She was unpleasant from the moment she saw us. This is not professional, and people like her should not be working there. Such behavior shows a lack of respect for customers."

Good experience at first but then was horrible. One of the salespeople assisted me and was very helpful and assisted well. Then one of the managers stepped in and took over and that is where it went downhill. Tried to push the warranty and delivery in my opinion were outrageous. Also asked to cancel my order and now I’m still getting texts it’s being delivered. Had to take matters into my own hands and cancelled it myself. My price nearly doubled and kept telling me I didn’t qualify for discounts because I was using no interest financing. No where in the fine print said that disqualified you but he refused. I immediately left and went to Darvin, found exactly what I wanted for half the price, better quality, and great financing. Sales person took their time and gave me discounts and walked through the whole process with me. Also the delivery and warranty only a fraction at Darvin than what Ashley wanted to charge. Don’t go to Ashley use Darvin they’re great and never had any issues.

Sales team was great, but the wrong distribution center was selected at check out and that created issues for trying to fulfill the order. The store manager was not on site and slow to respond to calls and texts from the employees at the store. Poor management. I spent over 2 hours waiting on items that I had already selected online and paid for in full at the store because we needed an override code from the manager. The sales team was great, fulfillment team was great, store management needs to be replaced with AI.
