They did get me a deal on a discontinued item and was prepared to receive delivery 3 days later following the delivery truck on the app, moving my furniture off to the side and clearing a path to the spot. Took the morning off work. Then I got a call from Ashley saying that another signature was required and my item was not on the truck and not being delivered! I was given 3 good options, I cancelled the order. Seriously frustrated with Ashley!

Great Experience With Ashley Furniture Delivery Communication on delivery worked very well through text, which made the process easy and convenient. We ordered three pieces and have received two so far, and both deliveries went smoothly. The drivers were professional, courteous, and very detailed with providing proof of delivery and photos. Overall, a positive experience so far!

We visited Ashley Furniture in Schaumburg,IL looking for a new sectional. The sales person, Sabrina showed us several different sectionals. we found one that we liked and I asked her to see if it was made in America. I told her I didn’t want any foreign made products. Without hesitation, she said “yes, that is manufactured in North Carolina and is very good quality. The furniture was delivered on 11/25 and set up in our family room. it was not inexpensive and cost around $4k dollars. When the men were through, I went to watch them clean up the boxes on my front lawn. there were 5 boxes for 5 pieces. Each box was marked ”made in Viet Nam”. They left very quickly and the furniture was already delivered and set up. I called Sabrina to voice my displeasure and she said “I’m sorry for the mix up but I can’t be expected to know where every item in our store is manufactured. She said she would pass my displeasure along. I feel I was totally ripped off and I will never recommend this company or do business with them again.

Went in looking for a new bedroom set. I wasn’t planning on buying. Ben assured me they price match for the entire month, he was very knowledgeable and an expert in the mattresses. Spent 10k and now I don’t need to come Black Friday. Thank you Ben.

Horrible customer service. My fiance and I went into Ashley looking for couches. When we walked in, there was a male sales person off to the left who greeted us in the distance. He said hello and I needed to use the restroom so quickly went to find it. We said hello back. As my fiancé continued to look at the furniture while I was in the restroom, the sales person who greeted us confronted my fiance and asked “what are you doing here now? Are you just here to use the bathroom?” My fiancé replied, we are looking for furniture my fiancé needed to use the restroom. The salesperson had an extremely condescending tone. He then said we have a Black Friday sale going on now. My fiancé asked when it ends, asking if it goes until Cyber Monday. The salesperson then said, “well it’s a Black Friday sale, so that’s when it ends” again in a condescending tone. The salesperson then walked away. Then the salesperson returned a couple minutes later and the salesperson indicated he felt disrespected and this was his chosen career to support his family and felt we were dodging him. He indicated he needs to make sure that he doesn’t get in trouble from the higher up’s because the interactions are on camera. What a terrible way to interact with customers. I don’t need to go somewhere where I’m going to be confronted and harassed to spend an arm and a leg on furniture. If this person feels disrespected by someone not giving him his undivided and complete attention, maybe sales isn’t for him. Will NOT return to this store. Too many other places in competition to waste anymore of my time at this establishment.

The employees here do a really good job of making sure you end up happy at the end of everything. Had some problems with the order but they were able to help me. I would give 5 starts (Marta is fantastic!) but there is one manager or employee in the store who obviously cares about nothing else but just selling stuff to you. He tried to sneak stuff in I didn't ask for in the sale and when I told him I needed to budget he told me "welcome to the real world" 😂. Like buddy I work way too hard and deal with too much to really care what you think. But Marta has been very great with helping me out. Would have given a much lower score if it wasn't for her and for the rest of the team taking the time to help me out.

I wanted to inform you about a distressing experience I had at the Ashley Furniture store in Schaumburg, which has left me feeling disrespected and sleepless. I have never encountered such poor customer service in my life. My sister and I visited the store twice to buy a new bed set and mattress for our 80-year-old parents, who hadn't made such a purchase in 15-29 years. What was supposed to be an exciting experience turned into a disaster, leaving us all upset and frustrated. On Sunday, September 28, we received a quote from the general manager for two bed sets and two mattresses, amounting to a significant sum of $10,000. As my sister and I were splitting the cost, we wanted to take some time to think it over. When we returned to the store the following day to finalize the purchase, we were met with rudeness and disrespect from Gabriel Andrade and the assistant manager, Veronica Gonzales (I believe that's her name). Gabriel treated us as if we were inferior, giving us attitude and speaking to us condescendingly. He informed us that the deal was no longer available and that we should have taken it the previous day instead of shopping around. As a consumer, I have every right to consider my options, especially for a substantial purchase like this. While speaking to Veronica, she abruptly walked away to assist other customers. When I inquired about her sudden departure, the sales representative dismissively pointed out that there were other customers in the store. Veronica then joined Gabriel, laughing and flirting in a corner, completely ignoring us. When I approached them to ask about our situation, Gabriel curtly stated, "This is our deal now, take it or leave it." He even admitted they were agitated with us because we didn't take the deal immediately. When I asked for a business card, Gabriel claimed he didn't have one and asserted that there was no one above him, saying, "I run all stores, there is no one above me." I challenged this, and he sarcastically wished me "good luck" in finding out who the manager was. This ordeal has caused me significant distress, and I wanted to reach out to you before escalating the matter further. My 80-year-old mother was with me, and what was meant to be a gift for her turned into a nightmare. I am deeply upset by this experience and find it hard to believe that I am the first customer to go through such treatment. I have never seen anyone so willing to lose a $10,000 deal.

Martha, the sales associate was outstanding in helping me with the whole process

My girlfriend and I came here and we spent about a half an hour walking around and not a single person came to greet us. Not a big deal, I’m sure we’re not the first people that its happened to but it did feel like we were actively being ignored. We approach one of the sales people about a sideboard we liked because we couldn’t find the price. He said it was $1000 which seemed a bit much for what it was. He told us the best he could do is $825 and that we could “take it or leave it.” We had mentioned in talking to him that we were shopping for a lot of different furniture that day and he suggested that if we won’t buy it at $825 it was “not for us to begin with.” After we told him we would keep looking he very curtly said “okay bye have a good one.” His tone was aggressive and rude the entire interaction and it felt as if he were prejudiced against us for being young, we are in our mid 20s. His attitude and language made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. We have purchased furniture from Ashley before so it was disappointing to be received this way. His name is Jimmy G and I would not recommend this store or being helped by this individual.

Very unhappy with this place and the customer service. My wife and I purchased $13,000 worth of furniture. The couch came, ended up being the wrong color. The delivery driver ended up throwing a temper tantrum in our home yelling at the sales guy over the phone about how they don’t get paid to move items back to the warehouse. That’s no way to act in someone’s home. Customer service said they’d be calling us back within two hours, it’s been two days - no call back. They also stated that the couch we ordered doesn’t come in the color we purchased. We were never told the dates or estimated windows for the other items even though I texted the sales man and asked, he said he’d get back to me, he never did - turns out it wouldn’t be till mid December until our coffee table would be delivered. The lights we bought are no longer in production, so they sold us something that doesn’t exist - but gladly took our money. Very terrible experience. They made it seem so simple. It’s so hard to get ahold of any customer service agents with any actual information and impossible to speak with an actual person at the store. We are beyond livid and I will be spreading the word about how awful Ashley furniture truly is!

Found what we needed and ordered it online. Delivery is scheduled for next Saturday.

Jimmy was great. I would have just bought online and not from the store sales people but he was such a kind person. And he didn't annoy you the whole time like most of them do. I’d recommend asking for Jimmy.

I highly recommend going to Jimmy G for any kind of furniture shopping. He was incredibly kind and amazing to my husband and I when looking for a couch. He was very transparent with us and genuinely cared for my husband’s and I want for a couch especially since we have a little one on the way. I see us coming back to do another purchase with Jimmy.

The store was closed at least 30 minutes before the posted closing time on the doors and what is marked online.

Edit: your response to this review is absolutely insane. Offering for me to call AGAIN while curently waiting for a call that i was promised would come by end of day is absolutely crazy work. I told the supervisor that i would wait for a call back however i am positive they wont call AGAIN to which she swore up and down would not happen. Its currentlt 7pm and once again just like yesterday i have heard nothing. Im still sitting here with 30k in furniture that i purchased and paid for that needs to be picked up and returned to the store. Pieces are literally falling apart by them self as we speak without being touched. Edit: after changing to one star i again got blown off lied to and disconnected without resolve the very next day. Again! Negative stars if possible. Unfortunately a 5 start rating is going to 1 and only because I cant give 0. I spent half a years salary with Ashley and the bad quality of the furniture is only surpassed by the bad customer service. Broken furniture and absolutely terrible after care from customer service. Can't get it fixed cant return. Calling the numbers provided will result in disconnected calls. They ask for your number incase its disconnected which it will be however they dont call back. During the hold on the 3rd disconnected call an interruption in the hold came asking if I was satisfied to which I chose NO and was asked if I would like to speak about the situation which I chose YES and it put me on another hold and was disconnected. This is both calling the store and service. I was informed that actually when the tech came to my house they had never put notes in to fix the issue. Days and weeks go by that you think things are getting corrected and they just aren't. I 💯 understand things happen and am by no means unreasonable. 30k in furniture for the service provided is absolutely inexcusable.

The sales person was very unsure of his products and dimensions. He also quoted the price incorrectly. We had to call and get a price adjustment.

I loved my experience at Ashley’s furniture. Ben went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect pieces to go into my living room and stayed in my budget. Ben took the time to look at the pictures of my home and helped me make my decisions. I am so excited about my delivery this Friday. I couldn’t have picked out these pieces by myself. Very poor service. Place an order and try on cancel in 24 hrs. Sales man told us we can cancel anytime before delivery.which was one week after my order date. None of employee or customer service help to cancel order and try to get other items. This is first and last time will be at this furniture store. We spent over $10,000 at Ashley Furniture and this has been the worst buying experience we’ve ever had. They lie about delivery dates just to earn your business, then leave you waiting far longer than promised. When our bed set finally showed up, one of the lights didn’t even work. When we told our salesman Ben, instead of taking responsibility he just gave us a phone number to call and did nothing to resolve the issue. We’re also still waiting on the pillows that were promised with our order. Nigel offered no real help either. Between the broken product, constant delays, and complete lack of accountability, it’s clear Ashley Furniture does not care about their customers once they’ve taken your money. Save yourself the frustration — shop anywhere else.

Everything was a complete disaster. When I set up my delivery and made my purchase, I informed the store associate and customer care that the phone number on my account was no longer valid as a result of not listening to my concerns and information, I relate my delivery constantly kept getting postponed by days. Worst of all the delivery drivers that you know set my mattress up to where I cannot walk in the clear space and they did not remove my mattress.. Now I have to pay another third-party company for a mattress removal that I was supposed to receive from the company. They do not tell you until after the service is completed that the mattress has to be in almost pristine condition for them to remove it a lot of bathing and switching. Definitely do not recommend go to mattress firm or anywhere else besides this place. .

Worst experience ever ! i requested my matress , base and all my bedding the same day and it got delivered pushed back 2 weeks. & i was never notified until the day thet installed my bed with no matress ? Now i need to wait 2-3 weeks for it with no notice. If i knew I would just push back everything for the same day. This is so frustrating and im very upset. Definitely not satisfied at all. I asked for some kind of discount or credit and they denied. Worst furniture store !!!!!!!

We wanted a new top drawer mattress set to make comfortable recovery from upcoming surgery. After some online research, we chose Ashley to try a variety of mattresses in person. Although we do not have the mattress set yet, we can say that Jimmy Gianbalvo, the Ashley salesman, was both attentive to our preferences and knowledgeable about the products. We feel confident that with his help we made the right purchase.

We just cancelled a ~$4K order because the store manager was yelling at us, hurled profanities and they couldn't get the delivery date straight even though we went to the store 2 times to try to align. The store manager's response was word for word "I do not give a "profanity" what you want, take it as is or just cancel it". Despite multiple emails and calls, there is no clear resolution or scheduled repair, and my request for a full refund has been ignored twice. I have spent nearly $40,000 at Ashley Furniture over the past 13 years, including $20,000 recently, but this experience with a defective item, poor claim handling, and unwanted protection plan charges has been frustrating and unacceptable. The customer support teams are polite but constrained by ineffective processes that do not prioritize the customer’s needs. At this point, I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and would like a full refund on the defective sectional, which I will return to them and they can pick up at their cost. —- We recently purchased two mattresses, a living room set, and a few other items, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Very bad customer service. I was trying to ask a generic question about the sofa I purchased from here some time back regarding the sofa fabric and how to maintain while shopping for some other items. The sales guys did not even bother to listen to my question in full and was asking me to talk to the manager while he was busy on his phone. The name of the sales guy is Xavier. The manager also did not bother to apologize for the behavior of the sales personal. I came here to shop for matching ottoman for my sofa and a corner tv stand. With this customer service I would never ever shop here again.

Won't honor the warranty they sold us on a sectional. Update: Called the phone number. They told me that I lose the credit on the unused warranty because my claim was denied, and if I want to purchase new parts (cushions) and pay for a technician to install them, that is the only option available to me. So it's not just the warranty company who are thieves, Ashley is also.

Loved my experience at Ashley’s! I went in with a friend looking for a sectional for my apartment and had Ben help us out. He was amazing! Super friendly and super personable and helpful but also really knew a lot about the furniture. He wasn’t pushy and was really trying to help me find a couch that I really loved and could afford. There was a lady in customer service I spoke to who was a tremendous help with scheduling delivery. It was scheduled when I purchased the couch, but not on the delivery roster. I wrote the lady's name down but cannot find it. You should have that info somewhere in the delivery scheduling. Her customer service is outstanding! Professional and courteous! My salesman in the store was also very pleasant and helpful. Thank you very much to the whole team!

1-Star Review for Ashley Furniture My experience with Ashley Furniture’s customer service after delivery was beyond disappointing. After waiting longer than expected with little to no communication, the couch finally arrived — and it was a complete letdown. The item came used, with visible stains and broken in multiple places. I was shocked. This was supposed to be brand new. When I called customer service for help, the representative was disinterested and dismissive, offering no real solutions. I had to follow up repeatedly just to get vague responses and conflicting information. No one took responsibility, and I still haven’t received a proper resolution. I expected far better from a company like Ashley Furniture. Instead, I got poor-quality merchandise and even worse customer service. Save yourself the stress — I would not recommend shopping here.

Very disappointed. Ordered a bedroom set six weeks before, had delivery set up and the day before delivery dresser was not moved to the right warehouse. Then when they delivered the bed, they forgot the rails and we are on day two of no functional bed and no one is supporting resolution including the Salesperson Xavier at Schaumburg. He sent me the phone number of customer service and said he can’t do anything more. I find that hard to believe.

I needed some wall hangings for a rental property and couldn’t wait for them to be shipped so they let me buy the ones they had on the wall.

Xavier Alonzo from Schaumburg was above and beyond. He is knowledgeable and very patient in dealing with us. He is highly recommended. I was so glad my husband and I were able to finalize all we need in our new house by the help of Xavier.

I’m giving one star simply due to Wajid’s shady sales/business practices. We purchased a couch here. Wajid was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. But then, he ran all the numbers and showed us the total on his tablet. He said the total included everything - taxes, delivery AND the extended service plan/warranty. We had discussed this extensively. So we agreed on the price. After he ran our credit card and gave us the receipt/paperwork, I immediately noticed the total on the credit card receipt was $400 MORE than the total he had verbally given us and shown us on the tablet. I immediately asked him where the $400 increase came from, and he said, oh I realized the warranty actually wasn’t included in the original price I gave you. My thoughts are, Okay…….so you just……..added on $400 to our sale without getting authorization from us first? So I immediately requested him to refund the extra $400, because we would NOT have purchased the warranty, had it not been included in the original total he had given us. I also requested the refund because of the principle that I don’t think it’s right for him to just add things on to people’s order without authorization. He said okay no problem, and assured us that he had refunded us the $400 and we would see the money back on our card in the coming days. Instead of getting our money back, a few weeks later, we received a $400 store credit in the mail from Ashley, basically requiring us to purchase something else. I’m sure he purposely did it this way, to avoid losing his commission from giving us $400 back. This is an extremely shady way to do business. First of all, you don’t add something to the customers order without getting their authorization. If he realized the warranty wasn’t included, he should have told us and asked us if we were okay with the updated price BEFORE running our credit card. Also, he NEVER said we were going to get a store credit in place of a refund. I specifically asked for a REFUND. Not a CREDIT. This was HIS mistake, so why should we be penalized and forced to spend $400 on something we don’t need, vs getting our money back? I would never order anything through him again, and I advise prospective customers to be careful. MAKE SURE the total they tell you is the same total when they’re swiping your credit card.

Jesus in the Schaumburg store was a wonderful salesman. He obviously knew his product and informed us on each piece - very impressed with that. Once he knew what we were looking for, he pointed us in the direction of what he thought we would like, but encouraged us to walk the store and see everything. We purchased a sectional the same day. His customer service tipped the scale.

I was off work the day I visited Ashley furniture in Schaumburg and i wanted to dress comfortably as I shopped for furniture. One of the salesman looked me up and down as if I was a bag lady (although I wore a very expensive jersey) and when I asked him for help he just got snotty with me and said “what do I want” instead of saying how can I help u…another salesman kept up selling Me even tho I specifically told the sales guy what I wanted AND my budget. He wasn’t hearing it since they make commission. I asked for a manager and a girl came out whom I don’t even think was a manager kept giving me even higher prices then the first salesman! And when I explained to her the issue with the other employees she barely turned a cheek and took anything I said in consideration. I asked for the store Manager and she claimed he was off, so convenient. I literally walked out and went to IKEA and purchased my furniture. IKEA had the best customer service that I would of bought anything from them. And they got their sales done for the day! I’m sick and tired of Snotty sales people that give u an attitude but that’s ok cause I took my business elsewhere. Hmmmm wondering how long Ashley furniture will stay open with those attitudes.

Our salesperson was not helpful. Gave us the wrong information about the furniture, didn’t pay attention to us after he thought we weren’t going to buy. Didn’t even give us his business card. We went to the Algonquin store and bought the furniture. They were very helpful.

Sales person was invasive and kept trying to sell a bed and base when we told him we have that already. Wasn’t listening and was mumbling when he talked which is hard to understand since I’m hard of hearing. I said I couldn’t hear him and he barely raised his voice. Unfortunately it was still about buying a bed base and not what we were looking for. Annoying.

I am absolutely livid. I placed an order worth $1500 for this bed and mattress for my kids. Then paid $69 for someone to come attempt to put it together only to get the wood out of the box and discover no hardware. After calling to complain I received you will be contacted in 3-5 business days. I’m returning it all. This is the biggest inconvenience especially since I am a single mother currently going through a divorce. I moved these heavy boxes all on my own. I am not giving Ashley’s a penny. Refund and return ASAP!!!

Extremely disappointing experience. The quality of the item and the delivery service fell far below expectations. The product began falling apart shortly after arrival—what’s worse, this was already a replacement. Despite being labeled as a full-service delivery, the process was frustrating and far from satisfactory. I tried for months to get the issue rectified, but this was the final straw. Each attempt ended in frustration as they consistently gave me the runaround, blaming their internal miscommunications and flawed operations. The store couldn't clearly convey the real issue, and their automated system repeatedly delivered damaged items. No matter what I did, they failed to provide a product that was either undamaged or met basic expectations. I no longer wish to deal with this company and would not recommend it under any circumstances.

This experience should have been a 4-5 star review, but after the delivery issues and our encounter with Xavier, I honestly regret the entire purchase. We ordered a living room set, but it showed up incomplete. There was a missing chair, the wrong storage piece, and no speaker/bluetooth. We went back the next day to speak with Xavier. At first, he wanted to help, but as soon as I mentioned the missing couch feet — something I made very clear was important when buying, he completely dismissed me. After voicing my concern, he kept saying there are different sku numbers, and he just walked away mid-conversation. It was disrespectful and unprofessional. After spending that much money, the bare minimum should be basic respect and accountability. I will not recommend this place, or at least Xavier, to anyone. My primary concern was not to have a low couch and now I'm stuck with one.

I had a really bad experience shopping from Ashley home store. Ordered a bed from them on April 13 and they took 10 days for delivery and when it arrived, it's packaging was opened and the headboard was cracked from the top right side. I tried to get a replacement because it seemed like a return from somewhere and they deliver it to us. I went to the nearby store from where i got a purchase and found out they don't take complaints and replacements at the store and they provided me a customer service number. I called them and They said MAY 19th for a new one?! Ten days for delivery, then another 26-day wait?! Seriously? For that price, this is unacceptable! So disappointed with Ashley HomeStore!

Bought a couch, very easy process

Terrible experience working with this store, my salesperson Xavier, and Ashley's customer service as a whole. Xavier ordered me the wrong couch after I sent him photos, links and even showed him in person the exact model I wanted off of Ashley's website. I received a much smaller version of that couch and got the run around from customer service and Xavier on the phone for weeks. Finally, I went back to talk to Xavier (I was ignored over the phone) and asked how we can fix it. He acted all nice and sorry for the situation, and promised he'd remedy it with his manager. I never received another call or text back and at a certain point I just gave up and bought the right piece elsewhere. I feel bad for Xavier and the rest of the employees as I just don't see how a business can run like that for very long. Just the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Don't shop here or with Xavier, they don't care about their customers.

Love the large selection of furniture. We have 2 large (50lbs plus) dogs and a new puppy. The new performance material is fantastic. In the sping with all the mud, I was worried the light color on our couch would get ruined, but I can though the cushion covers in the washer and walla looks like new again. The customer service at the Schaumburg location was great. The only complaint I have, and this is with all furniture stores (not just Ashley's), is the salespeople won't leave you alone. I don't do well with people fallowing me around. My husband and I walked out of multiple funiture stores (including 2 other Ashley locations) because of the salespeople falling me around. If any salespeople read this, I really think you need to back off (watch from a distance) and let people come to you for help, obviously after introducing yourself. Not only because it's really annoying to be fallowed around but also, and more importantly, you can negatively affect someone with PTSD.

Worst Experience with Ashley Furniture – Do Not Buy! We purchased an Ashley Furniture 6-piece sofa set for $4,200 just two months ago, and it has been the worst experience of our lives. Within this short period, we have faced multiple issues. First, our chaise sofa broke—and we don’t even have children jumping on it! We contacted Ashley Furniture customer service, and after fighting with them, they finally sent a technician one month later to fix it. But the same issue happened again. After another long battle, they replaced it, claiming it was a manufacturing defect. Now, our loveseat has also developed problems. The quality of this furniture is absolutely terrible, and customer service is just as bad. If you don’t believe me, I can provide bills and pictures as proof. Please, please do not buy from Ashley Furniture! Instead, invest in a better brand or buy from a liquidation store where you’ll get better quality for your money. I feel completely cheated after spending $4,200 on this. Honestly, I’d rather call them a thrift store than a furniture brand. Save yourself the frustration—stay away from Ashley Furniture!

Beautiful service. Me and my family just came in to take a look and eventually we made purchase. Please beware of the return policies. I went in with my mother to purchase a bedroom set and mattress. We where greeted by some wore a white jacket. Explained that my mother was looking for a bed with storage and a mattress. We looked at the options, than went to the mat department. He explained some of the mattresses, so she showed us the adjustable form and the mattress. Which my mother has wanted and I specifically asked will it fit the bed he said it would fit any bed and if it didn’t we can return it. My mother and I went back to look to look at the beds. we went back to the salesman to ask questions on the bed my mother wanted and one of the questions was will the adjustable frame fit the bed , I asked twice if he was sure, he said yes that adjustable fits all beds and it can be re returned. I should have read the reviews for this store. Now my mother is stuck with something she can’t use and told sell it on your own. I cannot say they were rude because he was not, it is sad that they fool you just to get commission. And by reading the reviews the owner just says sorry and to text or call a number, what is that going to do, I have called and text the number and it did not get resolved I think it’s BS. And it’s a shame. Let’s see if the owner does get this resolved. I am actually still waiting for the manager to call me back since February 25, 2025.

Awful customer service!

I understand that when you buy something at a store you are just making a transaction, where salesclerks are there to sell you things. But some salesclerks don’t have any desire to sell you anything, they just want your money. I entered in the store today and asked the salesclerk why the coffee tables are designed that way, and he reply “ I don’t know I don’t make the coffee tables”. He was rude! I am a customer and I was about to buy 1coffee table, and 2 nightstands, but he made feel that he was rude and tired to sell something else. So I just bought the coffee table that I liked and left the store!

It's been more than 2 months since I called that my furniture was delivery damaged.....$4700.00. Purchase. I was told ....don't worry we will fix it....Nothing happened...I called last week and was told someone would contact me....still silence. I do not recommend this store...

Don’t spend any money on this trash business! Once you paid, you will never get your money even you get defeated product or the furniture with safety issues . Went in to look at bedroom furniture. Was asked by salesman if I needed mattress. Told him no. Within 5 min another salesman dressed in a long white jacket comes up following us talking about mattress and how a good nites sleep depends on the mattress. He was very rude and pushy. Told him I don't need a mattress and we walked out. Also, a friend had warned me how pushy they were. Went to Bobs Furniture extremely nice and much better quality furniture!

Had a great experience at Ashley in Schaumburg, IL (our first time ever being in the store)! Purchased a new sectional and entire bedroom set. Ben was our salesman, he was fantastic and knowledgeable. Not pushy, knew when to give us a few minutes to talk. Great personality and salesman. Nigel was the floor manager who was also super helpful and just a nice guy. Would absolutely recommend seeing either one of them. Also gave us a deal we felt was beyond fair and made it easy to do business with. Thank you both!

Updated: The salesman was amazing, the furniture was delivered quickly. But one of my chairs broke after 2 months. I had to wait 8 weeks for them to ship me a part to repair it. And then this week, after four more months of use, the chair broke again. There is no way to reach a live person in the customer service department to assist you. All warranty claims are done through an AI assistant, and there's no way for me to request a replacement chair. They told me another 2 to 4 weeks for shipping of parts to repair the chair again. This is absolutely unacceptable, I've had this chair less than 6 months and for four of those months it has been unable to be used because it's been broken. It's just taking up space in my living room at this point. It's so frustrating that this is how they handle warranty claims. I will not be purchasing from Ashley again Omar was so helpful and my purchase was seamless. Can't wait for my new furniture to be delivered to my new home!

Our sales representative was the absolute best.. We came in to “just look” for kitchen chairs and ended up purchasing on the spot .. Norberto Carrazco was are sales/design rep and he was so helpful on questions of fabric,height and pricing He was receptive to all questions and worked with us on the pricing plus delivery in a very timely manner I would recommend Norberto to any of my family and friends when they need any home furnishings. Very positive experience!!!!

When you go to this store, ask for Doug McGee. Hands down one of the best sales representatives I have ever worked with. He greeted us the moment we walked in and was with us from start to finish. He listened to absolutely everything we had to say and what were looking for, provided us with a variety of options and never once made us feel like we were asking too many questions. Doug is beyond knowledge, truly wants the customers he works with to love what they are getting and just is an overall great person. He made everything about this experience enjoyable and genuinely loves what he does. I would recommend this store, but would recommend working with Doug even more! We will definitely be back!

BEWARE: YOU CANNOT REFUND ONCE YOU BUY. I just got couches delivered that do not fit properly in my house and they will not let us exchange them. NO ONE told us this when we purchased them. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and am a valuable customer. Customer service representatives are rude and basically told us “you should have read the agreement which was never provided before we ordered the couches.” Don’t do it. IT IS A SCAM.

If I had to, I would give them a zero Bought a couch and the loveseat from Ashley furniture in Schaumburg had it for less than a month and the head rest stop working. I called and talked to a manager in the store. He ordered me a motor for my headrest and my couch waited two weeks never never called never show up to put the pardon then three weeks later still no technician to fix my couch. It shouldn’t take two months to get somebody to fix my couch when I just bought it in August it is now November and it’s still broken and does it work? And when I called protect department at Ashley furniture to have somebody come out and repair my couch and they’re all there nothing but excuses I would never buy another piece of furniture from them again and their extended warranty is something else

I have ordered dresser night stand and bed frame. I have waited 15 days and contact with Steven. When he checked my order he turned off the phone to my face. Then I went to store. The supervisor said that we forgot to schedule delivery to your order. We are going to call you tomorrow. Today 3th day and nobody call yet. Worst customer service, disrespectful workers and all disappointing.

The salesmen Ben Harvey and Steven Beiser were very knowledgeable and helpful. Ben explained all the functions of the new adjustable base for my new mattress. I always thought since I had a platform bed, I couldn't have an adjustable bed. I was very disappointed in Ashley's delivery service. I was texted on the day before delivery that I was scheduled between 8:30 and 11:30 am. On the day of delivery, I was texted at 7:11 am that I was #1 for delivery, and they should arrive in 45 minutes. At 8:48 am, I was now #4 for delivery. At 11:25 am, I was texted they should arrive by 11:54 am ( even though their map showed them near Franklin Park... about 1 hour from my house). At 12:53 pm, I was told they had arrived. But they weren't here. At 2:41 pm, I called and spoke with a representative. I was told there was an issue with the truck... but they were still coming. Finally, at 3 pm, the delivery arrived... 7 hours after my original arrival time. The delivery people were excellent. Very fast and friendly.

The staff and Ron Castell the manager went way out of there way to make me happy!! They had a ton of patience and great advice. Ron himself carried out my tables and put them safely in my car. I highly recommend this store great prices , great help , and top notch customer service. 🥇

My furniture FINALLY arrived today, Sept 3rd. It was ordered on June 6th. While it is beautiful, and looked exactly as it did on the showroom floor, I was very disappointed with the tremendous delay in receiving it. I was told by the salesperson in the store, who looked each piece up on the computer that we would receive it in 2-3 weeks, with the exception of one particular piece that would take a week or two longer. A friend of ours used another Ashley Furniture in the area and received his shipment within 2 weeks. Unacceptable!

Came in looking for a coffee table on the week of 4th of July sales. One sales man greeted us and let us know on the specials of the week and said if we need help to let him know, and let us off. As we walked away, a saleswoman approaches us asking if we needed help and we said “no thank you” and she response back “oh, you’re here to waist time?” Literally left us with a nasty taste in our mouth and didn’t make us want to buy anything. Horribly experience and horrible customer service! If you walk in here most likely they just want to sell you stuff and don’t respect you as a customer.

My wife and I had never visited Ashley furniture, so we stopped in to check it out. When we entered, we were greeted by Eddy, The first sales person we saw. Eddy was immediately very pleasant, non-pressuring and listened patiently to what we were looking for. He gave us directions around the store to help us locate our options and told us exactly where to find him if we had any questions. As we were hoping to look on our own and have our own discussions about exactly what we wanted, being left to do so with the availability of someone to answer any questions, was ideal. Eddy checked back with us at appropriate times and was readily available if we were seeking him. We left that day with some ideas. He gave us one of his cards and told us his hours that he would be available for us to return. We returned a few days later and immediately found Eddy to place all of our orders. He was amazingly accommodating, patient and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Ashley and Eddy for a very calm and pleasant shopping experience in what can often be a high pressure field. Well I ordered a couch from the store they sure me it would fit through my door but however it turns out to be four and a half inches too long and now they won't come get it. Better come get your trash cuz they're going to come take it out of here meaning the building commission.

Ashley furniture is a no pressure shopping experience. Our salesperson was an absolute gentleman and helped us all along the way after we made our decision. They gave us an excellent price for a fantastic piece of furniture. I would shop nowhere else. Thank you Mike! Unfortunately the couch does not fit and The sales person Ron, at the store now is not helping us out. We were offered some trashy looking replacements that nobody would want in their house. I certainly wasn't expected this and I certainly hope they make a replacement it cannot sit in our hallway The fire department will not allow it You got two days to get it out of here.

Overpriced furniture and not great Quality. We got a couch from there not even 2 years old- started creaking 5 months in, staples sticking out which hurt one of un guests and was very embarrassing!! The covers have zippers but once you take it off to wash it ruins the backing and is only a bunch of separated material that makes a huge mess and when putting to it back together and zip it is super lumpy and uneven. Terrible will never buy from here again! I would actually love a refund or couch even exchange as i am so unhappy and already want to get rid of the couch.... idk what happ 20 years ago my parents bought our furniture from the one in niles and we still have them in great shape. Either this store is poorly managed, or the Ashley quality has completely changed. Will keep warning people not to buy from here cause i feel like an undervalued customer.

I went in looking for a loveseat yesterday and found one I liked. After "putting in the numbers" the salesperson said it would cost $1,100. I was prepared to buy it but wanted to check one more store - the salesperson gave me his card. Shortly after leaving the store I realized I hadn't looked at the back of the loveseat, so I emailed the salesperson, telling him I was just in the store talking to him about a loveseat and asked if he could send me a picture of the back (I attached a picture I had taken of the piece, so there couldn't be any confusion). He said he had left the store for the day and asked which loveseat I was talking about. I said "the one in the photo I just sent". He didn't respond. The next day (today) I emailed him again asking if he was back in the store. "Yes I am" he said. I waited for him to send me the picture but he didn't. At this point I decided to just buy it online. After a while he sent an email that said "please call me." I told him I was just going to buy it online. He responded to that email with ".". Anyways, I went online and purchased it for $200 less than what he quoted me. Great experience. Not.

Visited Ashley to shop for a dining table. Initially, the saleswoman was nice, but when I asked about further, she said I had to buy that day to keep the discount. I couldn't decide immediately and was met with a dismissive "thanks for visiting, have a nice day." Disappointing customer service – felt rushed and unwelcome.

We needed a new bed bad. My wife is pregnant and my job is physical, so we were in desperate need for help. Instead of just a sales person, we got a doctor and a financial advisor who gave us the best care possible. We laid the whole time in comfort during the sale and everyone exceeded our expectations in delivering great customer service to us.

Find what we wanted right away and breezed through the financing

Ashley Furniture Schaumburg really screwed us. Carlos Malone was our salesman. He said he is the store manager. We purchased a couch, chair and ottoman. He did the old bait-n-switch on us. He charged us for one set that we touched and sat on and we ended up getting a different couch entirely delivered to our home. Upon researching the couch we actually got, he charged us more than the couch, chair and ottoman were than on their own website. Carlos Malone told us that we were supposed to be getting a great deal and discount on the set we sat on. Nowhere on the receipt does it state any type of discount at all. In fact we were charged more for a set that is different than the one we wanted.Customer service told us that now that the couch is in our home we cannot return it. He got us really good. Also, we were promised that the furniture was in stock and getting delivered in a week. They cancelled and rescheduled delivery stating that we changed the delivery and now the remaining items are on backorder. What a mess! They are professional thieves! We will be cancelling the rest of our order, but we are stuck with a couch that we did not want. We are now paying for a couch that is more than their regular price on their website. We are stuck paying for full delivery for a couch that we don't want. Let's not even start talking about the inconvenience about this whole debacle. Ashley Furniture and Carlos Malone, what are you going to do to make this right? Below are photos of the couch on their website. And then what we were charged on the exact same item on our reciept. He overcharged us 100$ on the ottoman. He overcharged us 100$ on the chair. And he overcharged us 150$ on the couch that is smaller and different than the one we wanted. Not to mention the "great discount" we were supposed to get on buying multiple pieces. What a scam!

Couch frame cracked, since couch is over 5 years old the call center agent said it’s not covered by the “limited lifetime” warranty on the couch frame. Evidently Ashley expects consumers to replace furniture every 5 years. Giving Ashley a one star review because quality of the product is poor and its warranty is misleading. I do not recommend buying furniture from Ashley.

Manager do not want to take any broken items responsibilities and Delivery people do customer signs by them selves after delivery. I wish I could give them a negative star Review: "I recently visited Ashley Furniture in Schaumburg during their sales event and had a decent experience. However, my opinion quickly changed after the sale was over. The staff became incredibly rude and denied services they initially promised. When I went to the store to request assistance, they flat out declined, and when I expressed my frustration, they told me to leave or they would call the police. It was shocking and completely unprofessional. I strongly advise against purchasing anything from the Schaumburg location, as their post-sale customer service is appalling."

Purchased a sectional and a tempurpedic mattress from here with Carlos’ assistance. When I was purchasing the pieces of furniture Carlos went above and beyond to make the sell fitting in my budget, so above and beyond that he promised an item that he can’t fulfill. I was promised an adjustable base for the mattress which it turns out that it was a promotional item & I was going to receive it by purchasing the mattress regardless. The adjustable base that was promised is not the same as the promotion and after it was delivered it was no way I can exchange it unless approved by the store. I returned to the store 3 times & on the third time the manager told me he couldn’t solve my issue because what I’m saying is just hearsay & that Carlos clearly explained to me the base that I would be receiving. For a manager to sit there & call a customer a liar for trying to get what was promised to me is outrageous and mind boggling which is why I felt the need to share my experience. So for any future customers, please double check your purchase order before signing it because Ashley will not do anything to make things right if you’re sold the incorrect item. This is for sure the last purchase I am making through Ashley’s furniture.

Terrible customer service with shady salesman. Was sold a bed and adjustable base that massaged and was told it would get to me in a week. 1 month later it was delivered and the base did not massage. Called the salesman and he gave me a number to call to rectify the situation. Every time I call the number it says to call back layer because they are having technical problems i.e. just go away. If you deal with Carlos you are forwarded he's a hustler. Don't trust anything out of his mouth and he'll use the ol' no I don't remember you, the situation or the sale" excuse

Carlos was a big help and great to work with. He was very thorough with explaining things and very accommodating. After having a bad experience at the Algonquin store I wasn’t sure I would ever shop at Ashley again, but decided to give them once last chance at the Schaumburg location. Carlos was able to earn my business back and I will be sure to go back to him for the rest of my furniture needs.

So we went in looking for a couch and a sales lady named Bayan made this experience the worst possible one yet. First of all we have been to many furniture stores and never once has a sales associate commented on how long we were in the store. We were in there for maybe 45 min when this sales lady comes up to me saying “well you have all the time You’ve already been in the store for over an hour” then she proceeds to insult me by telling me I’m picky and if I go and sit on another couch it will be my favorite and come back to this one it will be my other favorite. These are fairly pricey couches and of course I want to make sure the one we purchase is the one best suitable for us. I also didn’t appreciate how she had zero idea on any of the sofas, she was asked what the name of a couch was and she stated “oh I’m not good with names” honestly I could go on with the nonsense and disrespect but it’s not fair to say every employee there is like this. We’ve been to the location multiple times and this is just a fair warning to ask for another associate.

Worst Experience Ever. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS! I bought a sofa in November 2023, I received it a couple weeks after and I paid $2000+ for it. The day I got the sofa at my house they dropped it from the truck and broke the arm rest. Then the pain starts, i call the customer support and they are 0/10, worst experience ever as well. They scheduled a technician to come and fix it for FREE, but he came 3 weeks after the receiving date, then he ripped the whole textile arm rest part to tell me that he can't fix it and left it like that, then he just left… I had to speak on the phone back and forth with customer support again so 1 month after that they offered a free exchange. Then I received 3 new sofas that were more broken than the original ones, so I had to call and start the whole process over again for a new exchange… THE DO NOT OFFER A RETURN AND THEY PROMISE ME MANY TIMES FOR COMPENSATION AND $$ BACK BUT I STILL DIDN'T RECEIVE ANYTHING 5 MONTHS LATER. I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY IS IN THE BUSINESS STILL. I HOPE MORE PEOPLE SEE THIS SO THEY DON'T NEED TO GO THRU ALL THIS..

Good products, uncomfortable customer service, they go very fast because they want to sell to other people later!

I strongly recommend that you DO NOT buy from them. They have horrible support and a horrible delivery service. Their delivery service damaged our couch while delivering it, and now it has taken them more than 4 months just to send out the part needed for repairs, so they can schedule a technician to come and fix it.
