This experience should have been a 4-5 star review, but after the delivery issues and our encounter with Xavier, I honestly regret the entire purchase. We ordered a living room set, but it showed up incomplete. There was a missing chair, the wrong storage piece, and no speaker/bluetooth. We went back the next day to speak with Xavier. At first, he wanted to help, but as soon as I mentioned the missing couch feet — something I made very clear was important when buying, he completely dismissed me. After voicing my concern, he kept saying there are different sku numbers, and he just walked away mid-conversation. It was disrespectful and unprofessional. After spending that much money, the bare minimum should be basic respect and accountability. I will not recommend this place, or at least Xavier, to anyone. My primary concern was not to have a low couch and now I'm stuck with one.

I had a really bad experience shopping from Ashley home store. Ordered a bed from them on April 13 and they took 10 days for delivery and when it arrived, it's packaging was opened and the headboard was cracked from the top right side. I tried to get a replacement because it seemed like a return from somewhere and they deliver it to us. I went to the nearby store from where i got a purchase and found out they don't take complaints and replacements at the store and they provided me a customer service number. I called them and They said MAY 19th for a new one?! Ten days for delivery, then another 26-day wait?! Seriously? For that price, this is unacceptable! So disappointed with Ashley HomeStore!

I had a very good experience at this store. Mike greeted me when I arrived. He made himself available to answer questions, while allowing me space to look around. I appreciated the good service. I purchased a sofa and love seat. I was pleased with the cost. The whole process was very simple, and the delivery time is quick. I will be returning here for future purchases.

Bought a couch, very easy process

Terrible experience working with this store, my salesperson Xavier, and Ashley's customer service as a whole. Xavier ordered me the wrong couch after I sent him photos, links and even showed him in person the exact model I wanted off of Ashley's website. I received a much smaller version of that couch and got the run around from customer service and Xavier on the phone for weeks. Finally, I went back to talk to Xavier (I was ignored over the phone) and asked how we can fix it. He acted all nice and sorry for the situation, and promised he'd remedy it with his manager. I never received another call or text back and at a certain point I just gave up and bought the right piece elsewhere. I feel bad for Xavier and the rest of the employees as I just don't see how a business can run like that for very long. Just the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Don't shop here or with Xavier, they don't care about their customers.

I truly did not expect such exceptional service. I’m honestly at a loss for words to express my gratitude—she is undoubtedly the best service relationship manager I’ve come across. Sharon took my case seriously and provided outstanding support. She not only gave me the option to choose a better sofa set but also ensured the remaining balance was credited accordingly. I would also like to thank Mr. Nigel, the store manager at the Schaumburg location, and Sales Representative Ms. Pooja. Both were incredibly helpful and kind during the re-selection process. They provided excellent customer service and offered the best possible discount on our new designer sofa. We are now truly excited and eagerly waiting for the arrival of our replacement piece. All the credit goes to Sharon Harris for handling everything so efficiently and turning a stressful situation into a satisfying experience. Love the large selection of furniture. We have 2 large (50lbs plus) dogs and a new puppy. The new performance material is fantastic. In the sping with all the mud, I was worried the light color on our couch would get ruined, but I can though the cushion covers in the washer and walla looks like new again. The customer service at the Schaumburg location was great. The only complaint I have, and this is with all furniture stores (not just Ashley's), is the salespeople won't leave you alone. I don't do well with people fallowing me around. My husband and I walked out of multiple funiture stores (including 2 other Ashley locations) because of the salespeople falling me around. If any salespeople read this, I really think you need to back off (watch from a distance) and let people come to you for help, obviously after introducing yourself. Not only because it's really annoying to be fallowed around but also, and more importantly, you can negatively affect someone with PTSD.

We walked in and immediately were greeted by Wajid Hossain. He's very professional and helpful in making decisions about buying furniture. He was also really patient and showing us all different possibilities and mixing and matching different pieces. He's expert in tampur- pedic mattresses. I highly recommend Wajid as your buying guide for the furniture and beds. You will be pleased with him because he doesn't treat you as a customer? He treats you like a friend.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT purchase anything from these people. The service is a joke. I spent $5300 dollars to have a couch. 4 weeks was the delivery time. They scheduled and cancelled twice. I’ve asked for a full refund as the couch won’t be here until may. Worst service ever.

Worst Experience with Ashley Furniture – Do Not Buy! We purchased an Ashley Furniture 6-piece sofa set for $4,200 just two months ago, and it has been the worst experience of our lives. Within this short period, we have faced multiple issues. First, our chaise sofa broke—and we don’t even have children jumping on it! We contacted Ashley Furniture customer service, and after fighting with them, they finally sent a technician one month later to fix it. But the same issue happened again. After another long battle, they replaced it, claiming it was a manufacturing defect. Now, our loveseat has also developed problems. The quality of this furniture is absolutely terrible, and customer service is just as bad. If you don’t believe me, I can provide bills and pictures as proof. Please, please do not buy from Ashley Furniture! Instead, invest in a better brand or buy from a liquidation store where you’ll get better quality for your money. I feel completely cheated after spending $4,200 on this. Honestly, I’d rather call them a thrift store than a furniture brand. Save yourself the frustration—stay away from Ashley Furniture!

Beautiful service. Me and my family just came in to take a look and eventually we made purchase. Manager Ben is one of the best professionals I ever seen : he made us an offer that we couldn’t refuse. Ashley store is 100% recommended to everyone. Please beware of the return policies. I went in with my mother to purchase a bedroom set and mattress. We where greeted by some wore a white jacket. Explained that my mother was looking for a bed with storage and a mattress. We looked at the options, than went to the mat department. He explained some of the mattresses, so she showed us the adjustable form and the mattress. Which my mother has wanted and I specifically asked will it fit the bed he said it would fit any bed and if it didn’t we can return it. My mother and I went back to look to look at the beds. we went back to the salesman to ask questions on the bed my mother wanted and one of the questions was will the adjustable frame fit the bed , I asked twice if he was sure, he said yes that adjustable fits all beds and it can be re returned. I should have read the reviews for this store. Now my mother is stuck with something she can’t use and told sell it on your own. I cannot say they were rude because he was not, it is sad that they fool you just to get commission. And by reading the reviews the owner just says sorry and to text or call a number, what is that going to do, I have called and text the number and it did not get resolved I think it’s BS. And it’s a shame. Let’s see if the owner does get this resolved. I am actually still waiting for the manager to call me back since February 25, 2025.

Awful customer service!

I understand that when you buy something at a store you are just making a transaction, where salesclerks are there to sell you things. But some salesclerks don’t have any desire to sell you anything, they just want your money. I entered in the store today and asked the salesclerk why the coffee tables are designed that way, and he reply “ I don’t know I don’t make the coffee tables”. He was rude! I am a customer and I was about to buy 1coffee table, and 2 nightstands, but he made feel that he was rude and tired to sell something else. So I just bought the coffee table that I liked and left the store!

It's been more than 2 months since I called that my furniture was delivery damaged.....$4700.00. Purchase. I was told ....don't worry we will fix it....Nothing happened...I called last week and was told someone would contact me....still silence. I do not recommend this store...

Went in to look at bedroom furniture. Was asked by salesman if I needed mattress. Told him no. Within 5 min another salesman dressed in a long white jacket comes up following us talking about mattress and how a good nites sleep depends on the mattress. He was very rude and pushy. Told him I don't need a mattress and we walked out. Also, a friend had warned me how pushy they were. Went to Bobs Furniture extremely nice and much better quality furniture!

Had a great experience at Ashley in Schaumburg, IL (our first time ever being in the store)! Purchased a new sectional and entire bedroom set. When you go to this store, ask for Doug McGee. Hands down one of the best sales representatives I have ever worked with. He greeted us the moment we walked in and was with us from start to finish. He listened to absolutely everything we had to say and what were looking for, provided us with a variety of options and never once made us feel like we were asking too many questions. Doug is beyond knowledge, truly wants the customers he works with to love what they are getting and just is an overall great person. No stress easy and fast

BEWARE: YOU CANNOT REFUND ONCE YOU BUY. I just got couches delivered that do not fit properly in my house and they will not let us exchange them. NO ONE told us this when we purchased them. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and am a valuable customer. Customer service representatives are rude and basically told us “you should have read the agreement which was never provided before we ordered the couches.” Don’t do it. IT IS A SCAM.

If I had to, I would give them a zero Bought a couch and the loveseat from Ashley furniture in Schaumburg had it for less than a month and the head rest stop working. I called and talked to a manager in the store. He ordered me a motor for my headrest and my couch waited two weeks never never called never show up to put the pardon then three weeks later still no technician to fix my couch. It shouldn’t take two months to get somebody to fix my couch when I just bought it in August it is now November and it’s still broken and does it work? And when I called protect department at Ashley furniture to have somebody come out and repair my couch and they’re all there nothing but excuses I would never buy another piece of furniture from them again and their extended warranty is something else

I have ordered dresser night stand and bed frame. I have waited 15 days and contact with Steven. When he checked my order he turned off the phone to my face. Then I went to store. The supervisor said that we forgot to schedule delivery to your order. We are going to call you tomorrow. Today 3th day and nobody call yet. Worst customer service, disrespectful workers and all disappointing.

Ashley store at Schaumburg has a friendly environment. Jesus, the sales associate assisted me and my daughter in buying a bed. He is very knowledgeable in what he do. The salesmen Ben Harvey and Steven Beiser were very knowledgeable and helpful. Ben explained all the functions of the new adjustable base for my new mattress. I always thought since I had a platform bed, I couldn't have an adjustable bed. I was very disappointed in Ashley's delivery service. I was texted on the day before delivery that I was scheduled between 8:30 and 11:30 am. On the day of delivery, I was texted at 7:11 am that I was #1 for delivery, and they should arrive in 45 minutes. At 8:48 am, I was now #4 for delivery. At 11:25 am, I was texted they should arrive by 11:54 am ( even though their map showed them near Franklin Park... about 1 hour from my house). At 12:53 pm, I was told they had arrived. But they weren't here. At 2:41 pm, I called and spoke with a representative. I was told there was an issue with the truck... but they were still coming. Finally, at 3 pm, the delivery arrived... 7 hours after my original arrival time. The delivery people were excellent. Very fast and friendly.

The staff and Ron Castell the manager went way out of there way to make me happy!! They had a ton of patience and great advice. Ron himself carried out my tables and put them safely in my car. I highly recommend this store great prices , great help , and top notch customer service. 🥇

I found Eddie and Ben to be extremely friendly and helpful! I especially liked that neither one was "pushy". I will definitely return in the new year for furniture.

My furniture FINALLY arrived today, Sept 3rd. It was ordered on June 6th. While it is beautiful, and looked exactly as it did on the showroom floor, I was very disappointed with the tremendous delay in receiving it. I was told by the salesperson in the store, who looked each piece up on the computer that we would receive it in 2-3 weeks, with the exception of one particular piece that would take a week or two longer. A friend of ours used another Ashley Furniture in the area and received his shipment within 2 weeks. Unacceptable!

Very clean and store employees very friendly.We were helped very fast.Especially an employee there named Eddy Chavez was very helpful and made us feel very comfortable.

Came in looking for a coffee table on the week of 4th of July sales. One sales man greeted us and let us know on the specials of the week and said if we need help to let him know, and let us off. As we walked away, a saleswoman approaches us asking if we needed help and we said “no thank you” and she response back “oh, you’re here to waist time?” Literally left us with a nasty taste in our mouth and didn’t make us want to buy anything. Horribly experience and horrible customer service! If you walk in here most likely they just want to sell you stuff and don’t respect you as a customer.

My wife and I had never visited Ashley furniture, so we stopped in to check it out. When we entered, we were greeted by Eddy, The first sales person we saw. Eddy was immediately very pleasant, non-pressuring and listened patiently to what we were looking for. He gave us directions around the store to help us locate our options and told us exactly where to find him if we had any questions. As we were hoping to look on our own and have our own discussions about exactly what we wanted, being left to do so with the availability of someone to answer any questions, was ideal. Eddy checked back with us at appropriate times and was readily available if we were seeking him. We left that day with some ideas. He gave us one of his cards and told us his hours that he would be available for us to return. We returned a few days later and immediately found Eddy to place all of our orders. He was amazingly accommodating, patient and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Ashley and Eddy for a very calm and pleasant shopping experience in what can often be a high pressure field. Well I ordered a couch from the store they sure me it would fit through my door but however it turns out to be four and a half inches too long and now they won't come get it. So what we're going to do is we're going to complain to our credit card company let them know that they drop the ball and won't pick up their couch and we can't put it in our apartment. Better come get your trash cuz they're going to come take it out of here meaning the building commission.

Ashley furniture is a no pressure shopping experience. Our salesperson was an absolute gentleman and helped us all along the way after we made our decision. They gave us an excellent price for a fantastic piece of furniture. I would shop nowhere else. Thank you Mike! Unfortunately the couch does not fit and The sales person Ron, at the store now is not helping us out. We were offered some trashy looking replacements that nobody would want in their house. I certainly wasn't expected this and I certainly hope they make a replacement it cannot sit in our hallway The fire department will not allow it You got two days to get it out of here.

Overpriced furniture and not great Quality. We got a couch from there not even 2 years old- started creaking 5 months in, staples sticking out which hurt one of un guests and was very embarrassing!! The covers have zippers but once you take it off to wash it ruins the backing and is only a bunch of separated material that makes a huge mess and when putting to it back together and zip it is super lumpy and uneven. Terrible will never buy from here again! I would actually love a refund or couch even exchange as i am so unhappy and already want to get rid of the couch.... idk what happ 20 years ago my parents bought our furniture from the one in niles and we still have them in great shape. Either this store is poorly managed, or the Ashley quality has completely changed. Will keep warning people not to buy from here cause i feel like an undervalued customer.

I went in looking for a loveseat yesterday and found one I liked. After "putting in the numbers" the salesperson said it would cost $1,100. I was prepared to buy it but wanted to check one more store - the salesperson gave me his card. Shortly after leaving the store I realized I hadn't looked at the back of the loveseat, so I emailed the salesperson, telling him I was just in the store talking to him about a loveseat and asked if he could send me a picture of the back (I attached a picture I had taken of the piece, so there couldn't be any confusion). He said he had left the store for the day and asked which loveseat I was talking about. I said "the one in the photo I just sent". He didn't respond. The next day (today) I emailed him again asking if he was back in the store. "Yes I am" he said. I waited for him to send me the picture but he didn't. At this point I decided to just buy it online. After a while he sent an email that said "please call me." I told him I was just going to buy it online. He responded to that email with ".". Anyways, I went online and purchased it for $200 less than what he quoted me. Great experience. Not.

Visited Ashley to shop for a dining table. Initially, the saleswoman was nice, but when I asked about further, she said I had to buy that day to keep the discount. Instead of just a sales person, we got a doctor and a financial advisor who gave us the best care possible. We laid the whole time in comfort during the sale and everyone exceeded our expectations in delivering great customer service to us.

Find what we wanted right away and breezed through the financing

Ashley Furniture Schaumburg really screwed us. Carlos Malone was our salesman. He said he is the store manager. We purchased a couch, chair and ottoman. He did the old bait-n-switch on us. He charged us for one set that we touched and sat on and we ended up getting a different couch entirely delivered to our home. Upon researching the couch we actually got, he charged us more than the couch, chair and ottoman were than on their own website. Carlos Malone told us that we were supposed to be getting a great deal and discount on the set we sat on. Nowhere on the receipt does it state any type of discount at all. In fact we were charged more for a set that is different than the one we wanted.Customer service told us that now that the couch is in our home we cannot return it. He got us really good. Also, we were promised that the furniture was in stock and getting delivered in a week. They cancelled and rescheduled delivery stating that we changed the delivery and now the remaining items are on backorder. What a mess! They are professional thieves! We will be cancelling the rest of our order, but we are stuck with a couch that we did not want. We are now paying for a couch that is more than their regular price on their website. We are stuck paying for full delivery for a couch that we don't want. Let's not even start talking about the inconvenience about this whole debacle. Ashley Furniture and Carlos Malone, what are you going to do to make this right? Below are photos of the couch on their website. And then what we were charged on the exact same item on our reciept. He overcharged us 100$ on the ottoman. He overcharged us 100$ on the chair. And he overcharged us 150$ on the couch that is smaller and different than the one we wanted. Not to mention the "great discount" we were supposed to get on buying multiple pieces. What a scam!

Couch frame cracked, since couch is over 5 years old the call center agent said it’s not covered by the “limited lifetime” warranty on the couch frame. Evidently Ashley expects consumers to replace furniture every 5 years. Giving Ashley a one star review because quality of the product is poor and its warranty is misleading. I do not recommend buying furniture from Ashley.

I wish I could give them a negative star Review: "I recently visited Ashley Furniture in Schaumburg during their sales event and had a decent experience. However, my opinion quickly changed after the sale was over. The staff became incredibly rude and denied services they initially promised. When I went to the store to request assistance, they flat out declined, and when I expressed my frustration, they told me to leave or they would call the police. Purchased a sectional and a tempurpedic mattress from here with Carlos’ assistance. When I was purchasing the pieces of furniture Carlos went above and beyond to make the sell fitting in my budget, so above and beyond that he promised an item that he can’t fulfill. I was promised an adjustable base for the mattress which it turns out that it was a promotional item & I was going to receive it by purchasing the mattress regardless. The adjustable base that was promised is not the same as the promotion and after it was delivered it was no way I can exchange it unless approved by the store. I returned to the store 3 times & on the third time the manager told me he couldn’t solve my issue because what I’m saying is just hearsay & that Carlos clearly explained to me the base that I would be receiving. For a manager to sit there & call a customer a liar for trying to get what was promised to me is outrageous and mind boggling which is why I felt the need to share my experience. So for any future customers, please double check your purchase order before signing it because Ashley will not do anything to make things right if you’re sold the incorrect item. This is for sure the last purchase I am making through Ashley’s furniture.

So we went in looking for a couch and a sales lady named Bayan made this experience the worst possible one yet. First of all we have been to many furniture stores and never once has a sales associate commented on how long we were in the store. We were in there for maybe 45 min when this sales lady comes up to me saying “well you have all the time You’ve already been in the store for over an hour” then she proceeds to insult me by telling me I’m picky and if I go and sit on another couch it will be my favorite and come back to this one it will be my other favorite. These are fairly pricey couches and of course I want to make sure the one we purchase is the one best suitable for us. I also didn’t appreciate how she had zero idea on any of the sofas, she was asked what the name of a couch was and she stated “oh I’m not good with names” honestly I could go on with the nonsense and disrespect but it’s not fair to say every employee there is like this. We’ve been to the location multiple times and this is just a fair warning to ask for another associate.

Worst Experience Ever. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS! I bought a sofa in November 2023, I received it a couple weeks after and I paid $2000+ for it. The day I got the sofa at my house they dropped it from the truck and broke the arm rest. Then the pain starts, i call the customer support and they are 0/10, worst experience ever as well. They scheduled a technician to come and fix it for FREE, but he came 3 weeks after the receiving date, then he ripped the whole textile arm rest part to tell me that he can't fix it and left it like that, then he just left… I had to speak on the phone back and forth with customer support again so 1 month after that they offered a free exchange. Then I received 3 new sofas that were more broken than the original ones, so I had to call and start the whole process over again for a new exchange… THE DO NOT OFFER A RETURN AND THEY PROMISE ME MANY TIMES FOR COMPENSATION AND $$ BACK BUT I STILL DIDN'T RECEIVE ANYTHING 5 MONTHS LATER. I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY IS IN THE BUSINESS STILL. I HOPE MORE PEOPLE SEE THIS SO THEY DON'T NEED TO GO THRU ALL THIS..

Good products, uncomfortable customer service, they go very fast because they want to sell to other people later!

I strongly recommend that you DO NOT buy from them. They have horrible support and a horrible delivery service. Their delivery service damaged our couch while delivering it, and now it has taken them more than 4 months just to send out the part needed for repairs, so they can schedule a technician to come and fix it.

recently purchased a sectional couch from Ashley Furniture, and it has been an absolute nightmare from the start. Upon delivery, we noticed a broken part, so we promptly called customer service. That was the first and last time we received any semblance of attention from them. Despite numerous calls and emails, our issue remains unresolved. To add insult to injury, the technicians they sent out not only failed to fix the problem but also lied about it, claiming there was nothing wrong without even bothering to sit on the couch to assess the issue properly. It’s beyond frustrating to be met with such incompetence and indifference from a company that prides itself on quality and customer service. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Ashley Furniture.

Wanted to sell us the most expensive couch, etc. We knew what we were looking for & it was nothing he wanted to push! Then, he claimed he was giving us the best deal, after he went ahead & added all the protection to everything so that of course raised all the prices. Then he was going to send us a final quote. All he ever sent was the total which was over 28,000.00! I had priced out everything online & my total wasn’t even 16,000.00! They are scammers! Well, at least Vinny is. Don’t shop at this location if you value your money! I won’t say all of Ashley’s salespeople are like that, because they aren’t! I’ve had very good experiences at Ashley Furniture! This place, is bad!

Customer service like that is what makes the whole experience great. In all honesty we walked in the store by chance without plans to buy anything yet, but it was hard to resist when you find all you are looking for even if its a few months too early..

Overall our experience was good, however we purchased an extended warranty that when we got home and read more online, felt we were misled about. We were told we’d get our money back (almost $400) at the end of 5 years if we didn’t use it, but in actuality we would get a credit toward another purchase. Just be sure and ask questions, lots of options presented to “make the sale”.

Andy our salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was very friendly and helped us find the perfect sofa. Great pricing and financing! Highly recommended this store and location.

We spent a lot of money on Tempur-Pedic power base and mattresses. When they arrived, the mattress is MUCH firmer than the one I was shown in the store. I have had the mattress for days and have yet to have a good night sleep; it’s like lying on a plank. I am having a hard time believing all the claims because our sales guy was VERY pushy and I feel like I’ve wasted thousands of dollars and my only recourse now is to exchange this for another bed from the same pushy people and store. I tried to chat with someone tonight because as soon as I lay down I realized I’d give anything to have my cheaper 15-year-old pillow top back, but as early as I go to bed, Ashley quits earlier. I went to LaZBoy to buy a reclining couch for a disabled family member after I bought this mattress. The pushy Ashley guy badmouthed LaZBoy, but at least the product I got from LaZBoy feels exactly as good as it did in the showroom, unlike this awful Ashley mattress. Also, it got delivered faster. At this point, I am miserable from lack of sleep. I can move this stupid mattress all over, but it’s always too damn firm to sleep on. I’m extremely unhappy.

We bought sofa during black Friday. Sami was our sales associate and helped us with the purchase. We thought he was very helpful and nice as he scheduled our delivery date. Well, that changed. The sofa was scheduled to arrive around in a month. A week prior to our scheduled delivery we got text messages from Ashley to schedule our delivery, we just ignored it as our sales rep scheduled it for us on the spot when we purchased. Well, somehow that wasn’t the case. We tried calling him or the store but no one answered. We just thought maybe it was a glitch in their system and we scheduled the delivery again. Also, our sales rep mentioned even if we choose the free delivery it’s a “door to delivery” we mentioned we lived in a condo building, and on third floor and he assured that it’ll be delivered to our door and the delivery people will bring it up. That wasn’t the case, and delivery people met us in the lobby and told us they will not bring it upstairs. Wouldn’t recommend as we feel like we were told whatever just so they can make a sell.

Ashley at Schaumburg was very helpful. I placed an order on line and the service was horrible when I had to change the delivery. I kept getting the runaround and no one knew what to do. I went to the store and they took care of me within 15 minutes.

We are very happy with our new chairs and experience with Ashley Furniture. Our chairs were delivered on schedule and the delivey team were very polite. We would buy from them again.

Beware! The companies quality is not the same, horrible customer service. The manager at Schaumburg never picks up the phone. I sent photos of the damaged product when delivered and they said call this number we just do the delivery, things only got worse. You are now informed!

Didn’t have a great experience in the store. The saleswomen I was working with didn’t know about the sales or requirements. They kept switching and going back and forth on everything they were saying. Pretended to call a district manager to get an approval and the guy wasn’t even on the phone. The whole interaction was a joke and a waste of time. This is the second time in a year I’ve had this type of experience. I just ordered online like I did the first time. If I didn’t have their card I wouldn’t do business with them. Vinny was the only one that seemed to care and unfortunately he wasn’t there when we returned to order.

We bought our furniture from them and we went back trying to change 3 of the dining table chairs with a bench, they told us no returns! They were so rude in a way they left us waiting in store for an hour no one willing to talk yo us. They gave us a phone number of department that we have to call if we want to return and the department said no it’s not us tell the store we want to return and the store saying no it’s not us it’s them. We ended up in the middle, no one helped and once you get the furniture no returns at all. If you search online you will see you can return furniture in 30 days but the maneger saying it’s just an internet thing! So disrespectful and rude after you buy. Don’t recommend at all

Very disappointing. Bed came but no mattress. It was in stock. They put it on the wrong truck. Coming I 3 days. The nightstand was damaged. Now waiting 7-10 days for “repair”. The ‘white glove’ service left packing foam all over the common area hallway in our condo. My wife and maintenance man cleaned it.

Buyer Beware!  Yes, please pay attention to one star reviews. I had previously bought furniture from Ashley in Schaumburg Illinois.  Everything was great and dandy.  So when my fiancée and I needed new couches, first place I went to look, Ashley in Schaumburg. Found a great deal on (2) big deep couches.  Bought them and had it delivered 2 weeks later.  Wow, not on backorder, couldn't believe it.  Sales person was awesome. Delivery day, technicians were awesome very professional.  Uh oh, the dust cover on one of them is ripped.  No problem sir, we can have our repair company come out and fix it.  Ok, no worries, just a little dust cover issue, otherwise everything is all well and looked well.  At least what appeared to be to me, a non expert furniture installer.  So I accepted the delivery and didn't refuse it.  Because I thought it was just a simple torn dust cover. Repair technician came out, about a month later, they have a busy schedule, so do I.  He comes, told him the issue, thought he would be in and out.  Not quite, he noticed something else.  The very reason why the dust cover was sagging on the ground.  AFTER PULLING THE FABRIC UP TO REVEAL THE FRAME, WELL LOOK AT THAT, IT'S BUSTED.  COMPLETE HUGE CRACK ON THE RIGHT SIDE. I ask anyone buying something brand new and expecting something in brand new condition.  Wouldn't you want to get what you paid for?! Nope, not in Ashley Furniture's eyes.  The repair technician (not part of Ashley) gave me two options, have it repaired or contact Ashley directly and let them know you want a new one. Guess who called and got the same story from over 5 different representatives of Ashley. "You didn't call within 72 hours to have it replaced."  How am I, a non furniture expert supposed to know the frame of a couch is broken?  Why is it on me and not the technicians who installed it?  Looking at the couch it looks normal.  Not sagging or anything out of the norm.  Funny thing too, I asked why isn't it on the installers, one rep said, "they won't get paid as much then." I'm not in a relationship with them but come on, RED FLAG.  You think they have the best intentions for you.  Not the case. "You bought it on sale."  WTF does that have to do with anything?  So your sale items are not good quality?  Thanks, I would of walked out of the store and onto the next furniture place. "The technician said its repairable."  OK, he's an expert but I still don't care.  I paid for a brand new couch.  Not a (after they repair it) refurbished couch. Mind you, I bought the warranty for this too.  These couches are white, not chancing anything with them. I haven't been mean or anything with Ashley, I simple ask them, really this is how you operate?  The last rep I talked to said, yeah unfortunately there's nothing I can do since they deemed it repairable. Really?!  You can put band-aids on just about anything.  Doesn't make it brand new anymore. I work for an electrical company.  If something we installed brand new was broken from day one, we wouldn't tell the customer to go pound sand.  We would simply not survive that way.  And we have installed brand new out of the box items and boom, it doesn't work.  Do we charge the customer for a new one, no, we suck it up and install another brand new one no charge.  Sometimes things go wrong with brand new items.  I'm not old but yes, THEY DON'T MAKE THINGS LIKE THEY USE TO.  Also, we certainly don't try to put a patch on it to make it work.  That's not how you conduct yourself as a business. Last note.  When the repair technician pulled up the felt to reveal the damaged frame.  He also unintentionally showed me the quality of their product.  Cheap, all plywood, nothing looked like it's built to last.  They definitely aren't what you pay for.  It's probably been like this for some time but what do I know.  Even if these other people have great experiences with their purchases, it's not quality.  I thought their products were quality, nope, I was dead wrong.

Ashley’s a good store, salespeople are nice and pay attention to you. You can get really nice discounts by visiting the store, ones you don’t see in their webshop. Downside is that their paying process is quite outdated, I went in for a pillow and waited 15 mins until I could finally leave with it. They had me fill out a bunch of paperwork which is OK for a couch, but totally unneccessary for a 50 dollar pillow.

Incredibly nice and patient salespeople. They don't push you on anything and they are very accommodating. The store is pretty hot though. On a sunny day, with all those windows, it made me break out in a small sweat.

BUYER BEWARE! Ordered a coffee table & side table. Side table was delivered half assembled. Coffee table style is middle lifts up towards you. That middle area doesn't lay flat, it's bowed. We have called SEVERAL TIMES & DAYS to different departments TRYING TO GET SOMEONE to do something. All we get is "a service job has been order"...but nobody has called! They don't care, they made their sale , they don't care. I'm asking to either fix the issue or pick up & refund...NOTHING! Customer Support & the Warranty dept ... terrible!!! Asked to speak to a manger or supervisor, they won't connect me. One lady said I don't have that phone number...not even sure what that means. I would NEVER buy from Ashley again!! Funny thing is I was warned not to. I should have listened!!!

Have bought several items from this store over the years and they are still holding up. This time around was looking to furnish several rooms in a new place and we were able to walk around without being pestered, which was a better experience. When we did have questions, the associate was able to get the answers we needed and didn’t try any up selling.

After couple weeks, called to check on the mailed check, And they told me they don’t have my request in the queue. Not enough that they take forever to mail it, But the dream place the Order. Horrible customer service through Ashley customer support line. The order I was to put together myself arrived with 1 part damaged. After sending pictures of the damaged part and waiting a few days the service team advised they will send a new order almost a month out. I asked if the delivery team can wait to make sure I go through each piece to ensure no damage. They said no, they cannot wait. They will pick up original order and if there are any damages to new order I have to go through this same process all over again. I called the support line to ask if they can alter the order to have the delivery team wait for me to inspect or deliver the replacement order already assembled and they said no. So they took my money and after a month of waiting for the order I still have no confirmation that it will arrive in good condition and while talking to me hung up mid-call. My first and last time shopping with Ashley.

Mr. Kahn did a great job of helping us find the dinning room chairs that we needed. He went out of his way to find several options for us to choose from. He is a very helpful and friendly salesman.

So where do I begin. in 2020/2021 I had purchased a sofa from this location. When they delivered the product, they attempted to bring it through the front door but couldnt. they didnt attempt to bring it in through the back door at all. when I asked the delivery drivers what im suppose to do, I was instructed to contact the store and talk to them about the whole ordeal. I attempted to call the store repeatedly but I kept getting tossed around from department to department. it took a few hours to finally get hold of someone at this location. I had talked to a manager at this location and explained to them everything that happened. I was told by them that the fees would be waved and everything was taken care of. at that point I figured everything was alright, I didnt get any bills from them at all up until late last year, along with notices from their bank, saying that I owed them money. I disputed this with their bank and they were suppose to investigate it and get back to me. they never had, so again the problem seemed to have vanished away. nearly a year later, and I get a notice from their collection agency and bank saying that I owe them 900 dollars. I attempted to call them again to straighten this problem out, only to be repeatedly tossed around. this time it wasnt a few hours it was more like days. I was given about 5 different phone numbers for this location, all of which werent the right phone numbers. I even googled this locations phone number and it didnt work. upon my last call, I talked to person from their hot line number, which finally patched me through to their location. I attempted to discuss the issue i was having and the frustration its been trying to get this issue resolved, only to then have them hang up mid way through the call. is this how you treat customers? so if your looking to buy from this location, please reconsider because you will get the "worst" customer service in the entire world. *update* I attempted to contact them via email and I still havnt received a reply. *update* its been over 2 months since I posted this review, and I have still yet to get a call back from the owner or management team. I will attempt calling this location again next week. this is completely ridiculous. the manager/owner clearly only responds to positive feed back.

We were going to get a 500.00 discounted sale price on a sofa. We showed them a letter we got in the mail for 0 interest until 2030. They would not honor that at the sale price and wanted us to pay full price for them to honor the flier we got in the mail. Totally misleading and unfair. I will take my business elsewhere.They wanted us to pay it off in 6 months in order to get the sale price.

Unfortunately, the delivery process is not quite as easy. They have very few delivery timeslots and are very rude to work with and there is no consideration for people who work full-time.

Needed to order a part that for some reason couldn't be done online. My first time at this location and the horrible customer service I have come to expect, did not disappoint. I dont know how they stay in business, I ended up walking out after being ignored by the manager, who was the only one who could help me I was told, so I will need to try yet again another location. Pitiful .......
