My experience at Ashley HomeStore was wonderful. I initially went in to LOOK around but end up with a new mattress. My salesman was very knowledgeable about the mattresses and I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. I was appreciative of the financing options and decided not to prolong my decision. I have bought almost a whole house worth of furniture from Ashley and have no problems with anything. I’ve bought tables ,couches, wall units and all were delivered with kindness. The staff in store and on the phone are always helpful

Great staff, great selection, could not give accurate estimate for delivery though. For such a big chain it is very disappointing to not have an accurate delivery time.
My delivery service sxperience has been horrible with Ashley homestore Schaumberg. I usually buy from vernon hills. We wanted to visit value city furniture in schaumberg but ended up visiting ashley homestore. Bought 2 leather sofa and 2 barstool. They delivered the sofa buy one barstool and one sofa came in damaged. These guys handle the furniture so badly. They brought the furniture open without any covers as well. There was lot of dust all over it as well.The owner should take a note of this. The bar stool came in damaged two times. I returned and finally they delivered it ok the third time. They delivery guys are so unprofessional that they left the barstool outside my door and they drove away after ringing the bell. Had it came in damaged again, I would have been in real trouble again. I ordered these items in April. The exhange sofa will be dèlivered tomorrow. I'm hoping they bring in good condition this time. The customer serive is not so good either. I wanted to sort out my issues regarding the refund, the customer serilvice told me go to the store to sort the issue. I have made three trips to the store so far. 40 mins drive each side. Their store phone number does not work. Thanks to the manager Johanah who shared her mobile number so I could communicate with her instead of me driving me each time. The vernon hills store did not help me on my issue. I ordered my bedroom set from macys and I can clearly feel the delivery experince between the two.
I would give 5 stars but I think its insane to pay cash for furniture on June 5th and to be told it will be in the warehouse in August and on the 31st of August being told once I called them to ask for update that my furniture will not be available until October!!!! SMFH...
Absolutely horrible Furniture store company. Ordered my Bed in End of May2021. They only delivered half of my bed in July when I was expecting a full bed installation that day… bed parts were sitting in my bedroom for 3-4 months. To make things worse they kept postponing delivery dates and wasting my time. Then they delivered the other half of the bed in Sep and never even installed it. Delivery guys said they weren’t even given instructions to install. So now I have to set up installation. Terrible communication between the teams all the time. The person who sold me the bed quit the company, their words “I don’t like the way they do things” This company that claims to be #1 furniture company in the world just sucks. I understand Covid has made things hard but this is just ridiculous. I would never recommend this furniture store company to any one. I have never written a review like this before, but I was compelled to do so after a terrible experience. You all need to get your shut together at Ashley. Please go to Value City or other companies, you have been warned. Deserve 0 stars actually.
Never buy with this store or any other Ashley. Not keeping their words.furniture is just garbage. Also DONT ever buy those protection plans. I didnt get service that they claim before selling protection plans. Denied repairing furniture twice even though visible damages there. Wont refund either. GBS sending me to the store for the refund then store at Schaumburg telling me to 877 customer service. They cant help either. Made two trips to store and many phone tagging, pathetic customer service.
I don't even know where to start, absolutely horrible customer service. Worst shopping experience of mine in 21 years in USA. Me and my husband were looking to update our mattress and sofa, so around July 4th we were in Shaumburg area ( we live about 100 miles west) and stopped at Ashley. An hour later we pick out the mattress, but we want California king, sales person says its not available in California king, but we can buy more expensive one...We had price set on how much we ready to spend, he tells us we can exchange it if doesn't work . Ok, sounds good to us. Couple weeks later mattress arrives, they don't take our old mattress, telling me is due to Covid( called couple more stores, they don't have Covid restrictions), ok, I swallow that pill, couple weeks later base arrives, all excited, but ....after first day we know it's not going to work, to short. I call customer service, they tell me to keep mattress for 30 days at least even I already know that is not going to work...ok. in the meantime I looked online for mine options and quess what, my mattress that I have is available in California king. WHAT? To make long story short, after many phone calls and couple trips to store they approve for mattress exchange but not the the adjustable base . So my options are to keep old mattress that doesn't fit my husband or I can get a new mattress that doesn't fit my base...spending 5000$ in the store that's what i get..., I will never step in the store ever again and I will tell everyone not to do so. They lie and don't care, manager is absolutely helpless..zero stars for the store, just horrible
Purchased a huge sectional from Ashley furniture during February 2020. I called and filed complaints multiple time. During the first delivery the delivery guys slashed our sectional so we refused the delivery. The second time they slashed the couch didn't say anything we called Ashley furniture to resolve the problem. They are rude told them we have a warranty we paid for that is to cover this issues. They told me they wouldn't help me and the extended warranty that they sell in the store doesn't cover anything besides minor fabric damage. They sell bogus warranty and refuse to correct any customer issues. I WILL NEVER buy anything from this fraud of a company again. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! I have a 2k sectional that fell apart and will be in the trash shortly as they will not get the issue resolved.
I will not even give them a review they are so bad. The customer service is absolutely the worst. Delivery dates are promised and moved back. I get the whole Covid ordeal but they use it as an excuse. Getting to talk to a human on the phone is almost impossible. Then go in to talk to management and you get the run around and a phone number. The furniture that was delivered in June is losing screws and then the protection warrenty plan what a joke. It took me 8 hours, 1 stop in an Ashley Store in Schaumburg, and 3 different phone numbers to call and over 2 hours of getting what I needed done only its not done I now have to wait 3 days to get a call from a fix it person to contact me. WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY AGAIN. Don't waste your time and energy. I actually cancelled a 5500 dining room set because of all the games and nonsense. Run there are plenty of other furniture stores that will appreciate your business and actually be happy to have you as a customer with GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
