When you go to this store, ask for Doug McGee. Hands down one of the best sales representatives I have ever worked with. He greeted us the moment we walked in and was with us from start to finish. He listened to absolutely everything we had to say and what were looking for, provided us with a variety of options and never once made us feel like we were asking too many questions. Doug is beyond knowledge, truly wants the customers he works with to love what they are getting and just is an overall great person. He made everything about this experience enjoyable and genuinely loves what he does. I would recommend this store, but would recommend working with Doug even more! We will definitely be back!

Norberto was super helpful. He found exactly what I was looking for and was so kind and pleasant! The delivery was right on time and seamless. I was able to find the matching nightstands for the bed frame I bought two years ago, and I love how it all looks together!

No stress easy and fast

BEWARE: YOU CANNOT REFUND ONCE YOU BUY. I just got couches delivered that do not fit properly in my house and they will not let us exchange them. NO ONE told us this when we purchased them. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and am a valuable customer. Customer service representatives are rude and basically told us “you should have read the agreement which was never provided before we ordered the couches.” Don’t do it. IT IS A SCAM.

I will never go back to this store again the young man was very disrespectful and mean to me 11/7/24 @6:15pm when I called back to the store to report him they stated no employee work there by the name of Caesar so i spoke with Joshua a mgr and explained to him with happened he stated he will talk to the person but never gave the name of the employee he stated he will help me and give me the sectional I wanted at a discounted price only to find out when I called back Gabe stated it was only 10% for a person to yell at me that's nothing this just goes to show they patted him on the back i asked for corporate office Gabe stated it's privately and couldn't give the corporate information very said

Our items are yet to be delivered but here I want to say that we were very happy about the customer service we got from Jesus Decasas and his manager. They were pro-customers obviously and generous of their time. They gave us a good deal too!

If I had to, I would give them a zero Bought a couch and the loveseat from Ashley furniture in Schaumburg had it for less than a month and the head rest stop working. I called and talked to a manager in the store. He ordered me a motor for my headrest and my couch waited two weeks never never called never show up to put the pardon then three weeks later still no technician to fix my couch. It shouldn’t take two months to get somebody to fix my couch when I just bought it in August it is now November and it’s still broken and does it work? And when I called protect department at Ashley furniture to have somebody come out and repair my couch and they’re all there nothing but excuses I would never buy another piece of furniture from them again and their extended warranty is something else

I have ordered dresser night stand and bed frame. I have waited 15 days and contact with Steven. When he checked my order he turned off the phone to my face. Then I went to store. The supervisor said that we forgot to schedule delivery to your order. We are going to call you tomorrow. Today 3th day and nobody call yet. Worst customer service, disrespectful workers and all disappointing.

Ashley store at Schaumburg has a friendly environment. Jesus, the sales associate assisted me and my daughter in buying a bed. He is very knowledgeable in what he do. He walked us thru the store, and helped us find the perfect bed that we like. The whole process from selection of items thru closing the sale is flawless.

The salesmen Ben Harvey and Steven Beiser were very knowledgeable and helpful. Ben explained all the functions of the new adjustable base for my new mattress. I always thought since I had a platform bed, I couldn't have an adjustable bed. I was very disappointed in Ashley's delivery service. I was texted on the day before delivery that I was scheduled between 8:30 and 11:30 am. On the day of delivery, I was texted at 7:11 am that I was #1 for delivery, and they should arrive in 45 minutes. At 8:48 am, I was now #4 for delivery. At 11:25 am, I was texted they should arrive by 11:54 am ( even though their map showed them near Franklin Park... about 1 hour from my house). At 12:53 pm, I was told they had arrived. But they weren't here. At 2:41 pm, I called and spoke with a representative. I was told there was an issue with the truck... but they were still coming. Finally, at 3 pm, the delivery arrived... 7 hours after my original arrival time. The delivery people were excellent. Very fast and friendly.

The staff and Ron Castell the manager went way out of there way to make me happy!! They had a ton of patience and great advice. Ron himself carried out my tables and put them safely in my car. I highly recommend this store great prices , great help , and top notch customer service. 🥇

I found Eddie and Ben to be extremely friendly and helpful! I especially liked that neither one was "pushy". I will definitely return in the new year for furniture.

Steven greeted us from the beginning and helped us through out our entire purchase. He made sure to give us all the measurements we needed. Even had to measure a few pieces himself. Great customer service

My furniture FINALLY arrived today, Sept 3rd. It was ordered on June 6th. While it is beautiful, and looked exactly as it did on the showroom floor, I was very disappointed with the tremendous delay in receiving it. I was told by the salesperson in the store, who looked each piece up on the computer that we would receive it in 2-3 weeks, with the exception of one particular piece that would take a week or two longer. A friend of ours used another Ashley Furniture in the area and received his shipment within 2 weeks. Unacceptable!

Came in looking for a coffee table on the week of 4th of July sales. One sales man greeted us and let us know on the specials of the week and said if we need help to let him know, and let us off. As we walked away, a saleswoman approaches us asking if we needed help and we said “no thank you” and she response back “oh, you’re here to waist time?” Literally left us with a nasty taste in our mouth and didn’t make us want to buy anything. Horribly experience and horrible customer service! If you walk in here most likely they just want to sell you stuff and don’t respect you as a customer.

My wife and I had never visited Ashley furniture, so we stopped in to check it out. When we entered, we were greeted by Eddy, The first sales person we saw. Eddy was immediately very pleasant, non-pressuring and listened patiently to what we were looking for. He gave us directions around the store to help us locate our options and told us exactly where to find him if we had any questions. As we were hoping to look on our own and have our own discussions about exactly what we wanted, being left to do so with the availability of someone to answer any questions, was ideal. Eddy checked back with us at appropriate times and was readily available if we were seeking him. We left that day with some ideas. He gave us one of his cards and told us his hours that he would be available for us to return. We returned a few days later and immediately found Eddy to place all of our orders. He was amazingly accommodating, patient and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Ashley and Eddy for a very calm and pleasant shopping experience in what can often be a high pressure field. Well I ordered a couch from the store they sure me it would fit through my door but however it turns out to be four and a half inches too long and now they won't come get it. So what we're going to do is we're going to complain to our credit card company let them know that they drop the ball and won't pick up their couch and we can't put it in our apartment. Better come get your trash cuz they're going to come take it out of here meaning the building commission.

Ashley furniture is a no pressure shopping experience. Our salesperson was an absolute gentleman and helped us all along the way after we made our decision. They gave us an excellent price for a fantastic piece of furniture. I would shop nowhere else. Thank you Mike! Unfortunately the couch does not fit and The sales person Ron, at the store now is not helping us out. We were offered some trashy looking replacements that nobody would want in their house. I certainly wasn't expected this and I certainly hope they make a replacement it cannot sit in our hallway The fire department will not allow it You got two days to get it out of here.

Overpriced furniture and not great Quality. We got a couch from there not even 2 years old- started creaking 5 months in, staples sticking out which hurt one of un guests and was very embarrassing!! The covers have zippers but once you take it off to wash it ruins the backing and is only a bunch of separated material that makes a huge mess and when putting to it back together and zip it is super lumpy and uneven. Terrible will never buy from here again! I would actually love a refund or couch even exchange as i am so unhappy and already want to get rid of the couch.... idk what happ 20 years ago my parents bought our furniture from the one in niles and we still have them in great shape. Either this store is poorly managed, or the Ashley quality has completely changed. Will keep warning people not to buy from here cause i feel like an undervalued customer.

We went in to the store and ordered a couch and ottem that we liked. The next day we called and ask a price of the chair was told the price and there would not be any additional charge for delivery got to the store we were to see the manager he stated that there was no way i was qouted the price and it would be a higher delivery we canceled the complete order so beware and stay away

I went in looking for a loveseat yesterday and found one I liked. After "putting in the numbers" the salesperson said it would cost $1,100. I was prepared to buy it but wanted to check one more store - the salesperson gave me his card. Shortly after leaving the store I realized I hadn't looked at the back of the loveseat, so I emailed the salesperson, telling him I was just in the store talking to him about a loveseat and asked if he could send me a picture of the back (I attached a picture I had taken of the piece, so there couldn't be any confusion). He said he had left the store for the day and asked which loveseat I was talking about. I said "the one in the photo I just sent". He didn't respond. The next day (today) I emailed him again asking if he was back in the store. "Yes I am" he said. I waited for him to send me the picture but he didn't. At this point I decided to just buy it online. After a while he sent an email that said "please call me." I told him I was just going to buy it online. He responded to that email with ".". Anyways, I went online and purchased it for $200 less than what he quoted me. Great experience. Not.

Visited Ashley to shop for a dining table. Initially, the saleswoman was nice, but when I asked about further, she said I had to buy that day to keep the discount. We needed a new bed bad. My wife is pregnant and my job is physical, so we were in desperate need for help. Instead of just a sales person, we got a doctor and a financial advisor who gave us the best care possible. We laid the whole time in comfort during the sale and everyone exceeded our expectations in delivering great customer service to us.

Find what we wanted right away and breezed through the financing

Ashley Furniture Schaumburg really screwed us. Carlos Malone was our salesman. He said he is the store manager. We purchased a couch, chair and ottoman. He did the old bait-n-switch on us. He charged us for one set that we touched and sat on and we ended up getting a different couch entirely delivered to our home. Upon researching the couch we actually got, he charged us more than the couch, chair and ottoman were than on their own website. Carlos Malone told us that we were supposed to be getting a great deal and discount on the set we sat on. Nowhere on the receipt does it state any type of discount at all. In fact we were charged more for a set that is different than the one we wanted.Customer service told us that now that the couch is in our home we cannot return it. He got us really good. Also, we were promised that the furniture was in stock and getting delivered in a week. They cancelled and rescheduled delivery stating that we changed the delivery and now the remaining items are on backorder. What a mess! They are professional thieves! We will be cancelling the rest of our order, but we are stuck with a couch that we did not want. We are now paying for a couch that is more than their regular price on their website. We are stuck paying for full delivery for a couch that we don't want. Let's not even start talking about the inconvenience about this whole debacle. Ashley Furniture and Carlos Malone, what are you going to do to make this right? Below are photos of the couch on their website. And then what we were charged on the exact same item on our reciept. He overcharged us 100$ on the ottoman. He overcharged us 100$ on the chair. And he overcharged us 150$ on the couch that is smaller and different than the one we wanted. Not to mention the "great discount" we were supposed to get on buying multiple pieces. What a scam!

She provided our boy crayons and papers to keep him entertained a bit. She didnt need to do that but she was very understanding and patient. Couch frame cracked, since couch is over 5 years old the call center agent said it’s not covered by the “limited lifetime” warranty on the couch frame. Evidently Ashley expects consumers to replace furniture every 5 years. Giving Ashley a one star review because quality of the product is poor and its warranty is misleading. I do not recommend buying furniture from Ashley.

One of the worst store in Chicago land area. Pathetic policies and full of fake staff (From manager to Delivery people). Manager do not want to take any broken items responsibilities and Delivery people do customer signs by them selves after delivery. I request people who plan to visit Ashley Schaumburg, please think twice before step in. There are lot of other stores we can visit

Mike Giambrocono was great to work with. He showed me just what I needed and explained things in layman's (laylady's) terms and lightly suggested things I'd might want to add on. I wish I could give them a negative star Review: "I recently visited Ashley Furniture in Schaumburg during their sales event and had a decent experience. However, my opinion quickly changed after the sale was over. The staff became incredibly rude and denied services they initially promised. When I went to the store to request assistance, they flat out declined, and when I expressed my frustration, they told me to leave or they would call the police. It was shocking and completely unprofessional. I strongly advise against purchasing anything from the Schaumburg location, as their post-sale customer service is appalling."

Purchased a sectional and a tempurpedic mattress from here with Carlos’ assistance. When I was purchasing the pieces of furniture Carlos went above and beyond to make the sell fitting in my budget, so above and beyond that he promised an item that he can’t fulfill. I was promised an adjustable base for the mattress which it turns out that it was a promotional item & I was going to receive it by purchasing the mattress regardless. The adjustable base that was promised is not the same as the promotion and after it was delivered it was no way I can exchange it unless approved by the store. I returned to the store 3 times & on the third time the manager told me he couldn’t solve my issue because what I’m saying is just hearsay & that Carlos clearly explained to me the base that I would be receiving. For a manager to sit there & call a customer a liar for trying to get what was promised to me is outrageous and mind boggling which is why I felt the need to share my experience. So for any future customers, please double check your purchase order before signing it because Ashley will not do anything to make things right if you’re sold the incorrect item. This is for sure the last purchase I am making through Ashley’s furniture.

Terrible customer service with shady salesman. Was sold a bed and adjustable base that massaged and was told it would get to me in a week. 1 month later it was delivered and the base did not massage. Called the salesman and he gave me a number to call to rectify the situation. Every time I call the number it says to call back layer because they are having technical problems i.e. just go away. If you deal with Carlos you are forwarded he's a hustler. Don't trust anything out of his mouth and he'll use the ol' no I don't remember you, the situation or the sale" excuse

After having a bad experience at the Algonquin store I wasn’t sure I would ever shop at Ashley again, but decided to give them once last chance at the Schaumburg location. So we went in looking for a couch and a sales lady named Bayan made this experience the worst possible one yet. First of all we have been to many furniture stores and never once has a sales associate commented on how long we were in the store. We were in there for maybe 45 min when this sales lady comes up to me saying “well you have all the time You’ve already been in the store for over an hour” then she proceeds to insult me by telling me I’m picky and if I go and sit on another couch it will be my favorite and come back to this one it will be my other favorite. These are fairly pricey couches and of course I want to make sure the one we purchase is the one best suitable for us. I also didn’t appreciate how she had zero idea on any of the sofas, she was asked what the name of a couch was and she stated “oh I’m not good with names” honestly I could go on with the nonsense and disrespect but it’s not fair to say every employee there is like this. We’ve been to the location multiple times and this is just a fair warning to ask for another associate.

Worst Experience Ever. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS! I bought a sofa in November 2023, I received it a couple weeks after and I paid $2000+ for it. The day I got the sofa at my house they dropped it from the truck and broke the arm rest. Then the pain starts, i call the customer support and they are 0/10, worst experience ever as well. They scheduled a technician to come and fix it for FREE, but he came 3 weeks after the receiving date, then he ripped the whole textile arm rest part to tell me that he can't fix it and left it like that, then he just left… I had to speak on the phone back and forth with customer support again so 1 month after that they offered a free exchange. Then I received 3 new sofas that were more broken than the original ones, so I had to call and start the whole process over again for a new exchange… THE DO NOT OFFER A RETURN AND THEY PROMISE ME MANY TIMES FOR COMPENSATION AND $$ BACK BUT I STILL DIDN'T RECEIVE ANYTHING 5 MONTHS LATER. I found it only fair to give 3 stars as our furniture was delivered as promised, the drivers were very nice and we are pleased with our purchase.Our irritation comes with lack of communication from our eager sales associate who said contact me anytime if there is a problem as I was handed a business card. As I noticed an error in our contact information on the invoice I sent the associate 2 emails asking for the contact information to be corrected. Nothing. I then sent a text to the associates cell. Nothing. Then I tried to call the store but prefer talking to a live person I gave up. Why hand out a business card if your intent is not to respond to the person that placed a purchase with you?

Wanted to sell us the most expensive couch, etc. We knew what we were looking for & it was nothing he wanted to push! Then, he claimed he was giving us the best deal, after he went ahead & added all the protection to everything so that of course raised all the prices. Then he was going to send us a final quote. All he ever sent was the total which was over 28,000.00! I had priced out everything online & my total wasn’t even 16,000.00! They are scammers! Well, at least Vinny is. Don’t shop at this location if you value your money! I won’t say all of Ashley’s salespeople are like that, because they aren’t! I’ve had very good experiences at Ashley Furniture! This place, is bad!

The young women Bayan helping us find couch checking all requirements on our list was exeptional: helpful knowledge close by when needed but by no means pushy. Customer service like that is what makes the whole experience great. In all honesty we walked in the store by chance without plans to buy anything yet, but it was hard to resist when you find all you are looking for even if its a few months too early..

Overall our experience was good, however we purchased an extended warranty that when we got home and read more online, felt we were misled about. We were told we’d get our money back (almost $400) at the end of 5 years if we didn’t use it, but in actuality we would get a credit toward another purchase. Just be sure and ask questions, lots of options presented to “make the sale”.

We spent a lot of money on Tempur-Pedic power base and mattresses. When they arrived, the mattress is MUCH firmer than the one I was shown in the store. I have had the mattress for days and have yet to have a good night sleep; it’s like lying on a plank. I am having a hard time believing all the claims because our sales guy was VERY pushy and I feel like I’ve wasted thousands of dollars and my only recourse now is to exchange this for another bed from the same pushy people and store. I tried to chat with someone tonight because as soon as I lay down I realized I’d give anything to have my cheaper 15-year-old pillow top back, but as early as I go to bed, Ashley quits earlier. I went to LaZBoy to buy a reclining couch for a disabled family member after I bought this mattress. The pushy Ashley guy badmouthed LaZBoy, but at least the product I got from LaZBoy feels exactly as good as it did in the showroom, unlike this awful Ashley mattress. Also, it got delivered faster. At this point, I am miserable from lack of sleep. I can move this stupid mattress all over, but it’s always too damn firm to sleep on. I’m extremely unhappy.

We bought sofa during black Friday. Sami was our sales associate and helped us with the purchase. We thought he was very helpful and nice as he scheduled our delivery date. Well, that changed. The sofa was scheduled to arrive around in a month. A week prior to our scheduled delivery we got text messages from Ashley to schedule our delivery, we just ignored it as our sales rep scheduled it for us on the spot when we purchased. Well, somehow that wasn’t the case. We tried calling him or the store but no one answered. We just thought maybe it was a glitch in their system and we scheduled the delivery again. Also, our sales rep mentioned even if we choose the free delivery it’s a “door to delivery” we mentioned we lived in a condo building, and on third floor and he assured that it’ll be delivered to our door and the delivery people will bring it up. That wasn’t the case, and delivery people met us in the lobby and told us they will not bring it upstairs. Wouldn’t recommend as we feel like we were told whatever just so they can make a sell.

Last Friday, I received my incomplete delivery due to the seller's error, I went to the store and no one has been able to resolve the seller's error, the store manager does not care or is interested in resolving my situation, I called customer service and they are waiting for me the manager responds to an email that was sent to her, the experience with Ashley has been horrible, the salesman Vinny does not answer my calls, the manager is super rude, I do not recommend this company to anyone else. ​

Had customer service rep from Ashley out twice now within three months. Each time, they sent out the same rep Clayton/Chad, one who would consider him to be a gang banger on drugs, which smelled like alcohol and weared his pants down below his butox. At no time, while asking for a receipt of the warranty visit and a business card. The representive would provide. Instead, he ran out of my home like an addic looking for a fix himself. And maybe a belt.

Beware! The companies quality is not the same, horrible customer service. The manager at Schaumburg never picks up the phone. I sent photos of the damaged product when delivered and they said call this number we just do the delivery, things only got worse. You are now informed!

Didn’t have a great experience in the store. The saleswomen I was working with didn’t know about the sales or requirements. They kept switching and going back and forth on everything they were saying. Pretended to call a district manager to get an approval and the guy wasn’t even on the phone. The whole interaction was a joke and a waste of time. This is the second time in a year I’ve had this type of experience. I just ordered online like I did the first time. If I didn’t have their card I wouldn’t do business with them. Vinny was the only one that seemed to care and unfortunately he wasn’t there when we returned to order.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! BUYER BEWARE!!!! This is our FOURTH attempt to receive non damaged furniture. FOURTH! First time the center lift section was bowing, wasn't laying flat. Second time they came out to replace center section, still was damaged. We decided to exchange for different table set. Saleswoman said the amount difference would be count as credit on our bill. So third time there were scratches on the table. Now we're on our fourth attempt AND they are saying they no refund amount. Basically they trap you. This isn't right.

They were so rude in a way they left us waiting in store for an hour no one willing to talk yo us. We ended up in the middle, no one helped and once you get the furniture no returns at all. Very disappointing. Bed came but no mattress. It was in stock. They put it on the wrong truck. Coming I 3 days. The nightstand was damaged. Now waiting 7-10 days for “repair”. Buyer Beware!  Yes, please pay attention to one star reviews. I had previously bought furniture from Ashley in Schaumburg Illinois.  Everything was great and dandy.  So when my fiancée and I needed new couches, first place I went to look, Ashley in Schaumburg. Found a great deal on (2) big deep couches.  Bought them and had it delivered 2 weeks later.  Wow, not on backorder, couldn't believe it.  Sales person was awesome. Delivery day, technicians were awesome very professional.  Uh oh, the dust cover on one of them is ripped.  No problem sir, we can have our repair company come out and fix it.  Ok, no worries, just a little dust cover issue, otherwise everything is all well and looked well.  At least what appeared to be to me, a non expert furniture installer.  So I accepted the delivery and didn't refuse it.  Because I thought it was just a simple torn dust cover. Repair technician came out, about a month later, they have a busy schedule, so do I.  He comes, told him the issue, thought he would be in and out.  Not quite, he noticed something else.  The very reason why the dust cover was sagging on the ground.  AFTER PULLING THE FABRIC UP TO REVEAL THE FRAME, WELL LOOK AT THAT, IT'S BUSTED.  COMPLETE HUGE CRACK ON THE RIGHT SIDE. I ask anyone buying something brand new and expecting something in brand new condition.  Wouldn't you want to get what you paid for?! Nope, not in Ashley Furniture's eyes.  The repair technician (not part of Ashley) gave me two options, have it repaired or contact Ashley directly and let them know you want a new one. Guess who called and got the same story from over 5 different representatives of Ashley. "You didn't call within 72 hours to have it replaced."  How am I, a non furniture expert supposed to know the frame of a couch is broken?  Why is it on me and not the technicians who installed it?  Looking at the couch it looks normal.  Not sagging or anything out of the norm.  Funny thing too, I asked why isn't it on the installers, one rep said, "they won't get paid as much then." I'm not in a relationship with them but come on, RED FLAG.  You think they have the best intentions for you.  Not the case. "You bought it on sale."  WTF does that have to do with anything?  So your sale items are not good quality?  Thanks, I would of walked out of the store and onto the next furniture place. "The technician said its repairable."  OK, he's an expert but I still don't care.  I paid for a brand new couch.  Not a (after they repair it) refurbished couch. Mind you, I bought the warranty for this too.  These couches are white, not chancing anything with them. I haven't been mean or anything with Ashley, I simple ask them, really this is how you operate?  The last rep I talked to said, yeah unfortunately there's nothing I can do since they deemed it repairable. Really?!  You can put band-aids on just about anything.  Doesn't make it brand new anymore. I work for an electrical company.  If something we installed brand new was broken from day one, we wouldn't tell the customer to go pound sand.  We would simply not survive that way.  And we have installed brand new out of the box items and boom, it doesn't work.  Do we charge the customer for a new one, no, we suck it up and install another brand new one no charge.  Sometimes things go wrong with brand new items.  I'm not old but yes, THEY DON'T MAKE THINGS LIKE THEY USE TO.  Also, we certainly don't try to put a patch on it to make it work.  That's not how you conduct yourself as a business. Last note.  When the repair technician pulled up the felt to reveal the damaged frame.  He also unintentionally showed me the quality of their product.  Cheap, all plywood, nothing looked like it's built to last.  They definitely aren't what you pay for.  It's probably been like this for some time but what do I know.  Even if these other people have great experiences with their purchases, it's not quality.  I thought their products were quality, nope, I was dead wrong.

My sofa broke when I sat on it. Just normal sitting. It took 4 weeks to find out the protection plan I bought basically covered nothing. Then I was told I could have a repairman come to my home at my expense. I agreed and waiting a week for a return call. When I called back. I was told the ticket wasn't filed appropriately. I was given a 4 th number to call and assured they would help. I reached out to them and was told to call the warranty company. When you all customer service , you can't get a manager "they aren't taking calls" and will call you back Obviously they do not back up the products they sell and the quality is poor. Avoid purchasing from them.

BUYER BEWARE! Ordered a coffee table & side table. Side table was delivered half assembled. Coffee table style is middle lifts up towards you. That middle area doesn't lay flat, it's bowed. We have called SEVERAL TIMES & DAYS to different departments TRYING TO GET SOMEONE to do something. All we get is "a service job has been order"...but nobody has called! They don't care, they made their sale , they don't care. I'm asking to either fix the issue or pick up & refund...NOTHING! Customer Support & the Warranty dept ... terrible!!! Asked to speak to a manger or supervisor, they won't connect me. One lady said I don't have that phone number...not even sure what that means. I would NEVER buy from Ashley again!! Have bought several items from this store over the years and they are still holding up. This time around was looking to furnish several rooms in a new place and we were able to walk around without being pestered, which was a better experience. When we did have questions, the associate was able to get the answers we needed and didn’t try any up selling.

First, let me start this review by saying I am someone who enjoys writing good reviews for companies. I worked in retail for many years and truly value and appreciate good customer service. I am also someone who always tips accordingly and I hate when people are rude to retail workers, restaurant staff, etc. I try to avoid writing bad reviews because there is enough negative energy in the world, but I have to speak up about my experience with Ashley Furniture because it has been HORRIFYING. I went into the Schaumburg location on July 17, 2023 and nearly two months later, I am still dealing with bad deliveries, defective merchandise and poor customer service. I purchased one sofa, one nightstand, one dresser, and one TV stand. Currently, the sofa dye bleeds onto other fabrics (and polished fingernails) and the TV stand was exchanged for a new one and the new one arrived nearly two months later damaged. Here is the very long and frustrating timeline of my Ashley Furniture shopping experience:July 17 - ordered items in-person at the Schaumburg store; the sales woman (Zara) seemed rush and basically told me that she had to talk to another customer once I told her the items I selected; I decided to add a TV stand and told Zara the size of my television--she said the stand I selected would work and went on her way; the store manager (Johanna) completed my saleJuly 26 - received items via home delivery; TV stand was too small and the TV legs were hanging over the front and back; I asked the delivery people to take the TV stand back and they told me that I had 72 hours to have it replaced and someone else would pick it up another day; I immediately called customer service and was told someone would call me to arrange for pickup; I also spoke to someone named Ebony around this same time who told me she would work with me to get the TV stand exchanged, but I never heard from her againAugust 3 - spoke to Herzel and Vidal in customer service; they advised me to speak with the Schaumburg store manager to get the exchange processed for the TV stand because they could not authorize the returnAugust 4 - visited the Schaumburg store and was provided a new ticket number by the manager (Johanna) for the exchange; spoke to Rhea in customer service and was on the call for 1.5 hours while in the store--I was told the TV stand could be exchanged, then I was told it could not be exchanged, and then I was told it could be exchanged; before leaving the store, I received an email saying delivery of the replacement TV stand should occur on or around August 11August 8 - received an email requesting that I visit the store and make a reselection of the TV stand by 8/18/23 before the reselection period endsAugust 16 - went into the Schaumburg store and re-ordered the same replacement TV stand; I was asked to pay $77.01 for additional sales tax--I paid it with no issue; I told the manager (Marcy) that my sofa was "bleeding"--the black dye ruined my manicure and stained my white socks, Marcy told me to call customer service to have the sofa replacedAugust 25 - received text message from customer service stating they were working on getting my items (replacement TV stand) safely and quickly September 1 - received text messages from customer service asking if I was ready to place my order--I responded and asked for a status update on the replacement TV stand that I already ordered; I sent an email asking about the status of the replacement TV stand; I later received a call from Ashley in customer service who told me the replacement TV stand would be delivered on September 8; I told Ashley about the "bleeding" sofa and she said someone would call me on September 5September 8 - replacement TV stand was delivered with hole on side of box--I asked the delivery people if the item may be damaged and they told me they checked at the warehouse and the item was fine; I unboxed the replacement TV stand and discovered it was damaged exactly where the hole is located; I cal

My experience at Ashley was a great one. Sam was incredible from the moment I walked in the door and gave me enough space and direction as I navigated through the store. He really made my experience enjoyable and I felt listened and heard. Would definitely go back to work with him in the future!

Horrible customer service through Ashley customer support line. The order I was to put together myself arrived with 1 part damaged. After sending pictures of the damaged part and waiting a few days the service team advised they will send a new order almost a month out. I asked if the delivery team can wait to make sure I go through each piece to ensure no damage. They said no, they cannot wait. They will pick up original order and if there are any damages to new order I have to go through this same process all over again. I called the support line to ask if they can alter the order to have the delivery team wait for me to inspect or deliver the replacement order already assembled and they said no. So they took my money and after a month of waiting for the order I still have no confirmation that it will arrive in good condition and while talking to me hung up mid-call. My first and last time shopping with Ashley.

Mr. Kahn did a great job of helping us find the dinning room chairs that we needed. He went out of his way to find several options for us to choose from. He is a very helpful and friendly salesman.

So where do I begin. in 2020/2021 I had purchased a sofa from this location. When they delivered the product, they attempted to bring it through the front door but couldnt. they didnt attempt to bring it in through the back door at all. when I asked the delivery drivers what im suppose to do, I was instructed to contact the store and talk to them about the whole ordeal. I attempted to call the store repeatedly but I kept getting tossed around from department to department. it took a few hours to finally get hold of someone at this location. I had talked to a manager at this location and explained to them everything that happened. I was told by them that the fees would be waved and everything was taken care of. at that point I figured everything was alright, I didnt get any bills from them at all up until late last year, along with notices from their bank, saying that I owed them money. I disputed this with their bank and they were suppose to investigate it and get back to me. they never had, so again the problem seemed to have vanished away. nearly a year later, and I get a notice from their collection agency and bank saying that I owe them 900 dollars. I attempted to call them again to straighten this problem out, only to be repeatedly tossed around. this time it wasnt a few hours it was more like days. I was given about 5 different phone numbers for this location, all of which werent the right phone numbers. I even googled this locations phone number and it didnt work. upon my last call, I talked to person from their hot line number, which finally patched me through to their location. I attempted to discuss the issue i was having and the frustration its been trying to get this issue resolved, only to then have them hang up mid way through the call. is this how you treat customers? so if your looking to buy from this location, please reconsider because you will get the "worst" customer service in the entire world. *update* I attempted to contact them via email and I still havnt received a reply. *update* its been over 2 months since I posted this review, and I have still yet to get a call back from the owner or management team. I will attempt calling this location again next week. this is completely ridiculous. the manager/owner clearly only responds to positive feed back.

We were going to get a 500.00 discounted sale price on a sofa. We showed them a letter we got in the mail for 0 interest until 2030. They would not honor that at the sale price and wanted us to pay full price for them to honor the flier we got in the mail. Totally misleading and unfair. I will take my business elsewhere.They wanted us to pay it off in 6 months in order to get the sale price.

We bought a great-quality couch here that we love, but after an infuriating "customer service" experience we had, we will never shop at Ashley again. It started when our dog chewed up a piece of our couch. I called the store to see if they had any re-upholster services we could pay for--nobody answered the phone over the course of three days. I even left a voicemail that no one returned. I then called the corporate line who told me they could not help, not even provide information about this, and that I'd have to work with the store directly. I told them the store doesn't answer their phone. They didn't seem to care about this and told me to go into the store physically. So I went into the store, where a sales rep told me I could call the corporate number (the number I had already called) and they would send me fabric for free, at which point I could work with an external upholsterer, which I was happy to do.I followed those instructions, but when I called the corporate line this time, they said they would not only send me the fabric for free, but they would come out and fix it for free. I was confused since this was conflicting information, but accepted it because they confirmed it was what should happen. They sent me the fabric pretty quickly, but when a technician reached out to me to schedule the appointment, they asked to see a picture, which I provided, and they said I needed to pay them for the service since this was clearly pet damage. I told them what the corporate customer service rep had told me, and they basically said there was a miscommunication and I needed to pay them. I accepted that, asking who and how I pay, but this person would not give me a clear answer. They just kept saying to pay "the store" which could mean a number of things with all the misinformation I had gotten up to this point. I asked for them to have a manager call me, which never happened.I called the customer service number again, multiple times over the next couple of weeks--one person literally told me they didn't have access to update accounts and that they couldn't even transfer me to someone who could; two other people cut my call off. Finally, I got someone who said I needed to physically go into the store to pay for the service. So I went into the store and spoke with Johanna, who did make efforts to help, but made multiple comments along the way implying she didn't know how to fix/access these things. Finally, she got my service order straightened out and I paid for it. She said she didn't know how I would be contacted or when (re: setting the appointment, and that I could text her (she specified text, not calling) if any issues came up. I asked if there were any other managers I could call if she's not available, and she said no. Days went by and no one contacted me. I texted her a few times to follow up, and she gave me pretty short and difficult-to-read answers. After a whole business week passed and I followed up again, she finally told me I had to call the corporate customer service number to schedule the appointment. Of course, when I called them, they cut my call off again. I followed up with Johanna telling her this and requesting to please get this taken care of or I'd be pursuing a refund. She called me hours later, saying that my service order had been closed, which no one had told me about. She finally opened a new order for me and promised someone would be in touch in the next 48 hours, which did happen and we finally got someone out here to fix the couch. But the aggravation it came with was enough to make us never give Ashley Furniture our business again. The cherry on top was the fact that in all my many conversations back and forth with Johanna, she never once apologized for the experience (which again, in summary, was me having to chase down multiple people at Ashley for almost a month who either cut off my calls, said they couldn't help me, or gave me contradicting information, just to pay them to fix my couch). The sales person Michael was wonderful to work with. He knew the furniture and walked us through all the details and made the sales process very easy. 5 stars for the in store experience. Unfortunately, the delivery process is not quite as easy. They have very few delivery timeslots and are very rude to work with and there is no consideration for people who work full-time.

Needed to order a part that for some reason couldn't be done online. My first time at this location and the horrible customer service I have come to expect, did not disappoint. I dont know how they stay in business, I ended up walking out after being ignored by the manager, who was the only one who could help me I was told, so I will need to try yet again another location. Pitiful .......

I went shopping for a couch during a sale weekend. I saw on the website that they offer 10% discount to military so I specifically asked if I would get the Military discount with the sale price. I was ensued that I would get both. I selected what I wanted and they ran my credit giving me a credit card. Then 3 people struggled to figure out how to give me the discount. They took my military ID information and eventually said I got the discount. After the purchase was completed and I looked at the itemized receipt, there was NO military discount. Pretty ridiculous that they would lie to my face and not be up front and say something. If they couldn't give me the discount just say so and I would make my decision if I still wanted to make the purchase. But instead all 3 employees lied and said I would receive the discount. I will still keep my purchase and pay the higher price, but I will never shop there again.

Happy with our experience although it seemed to take WAY longer to check out (we paid in full) than I would have thought.

I would never shop or purchase anything from this Ashley store or any Ashley store again. We went in the store, purchased a dresser, called back same day to cancel because when got home realized dresser would not fit in the space. Spoke directly to Diego Herrera who sold us the dresser who stated it would be canceled. Three days later we start getting texts about delivery, our credit card was charged for almost $1000 yet the order was cancelled! 18 days later and this still has not been resolved, the charge is still on our credit card, the store never answers the phone or returns messages, the sales person Diego stopped responding to us. Called customer care and they keep hanging up on us before the end of the conversation. We were told they were having "system issues", well the system issue didn't stop the credit charge from going through. Hard to believe a big corporate furniture store would be having system issues for 2 weeks! Never again... they have lost our future business.

Cannot recommend buying furniture from this store. My wife and I purchased a bedroom set from this store. The sales rep continued to make promises our order would ship and it just never showed up. We're now 4 days past when we were supposed to have it, and no one is answering their phones. The salesrep has gone dark and I'm forced to write this review in hopes someone will contact me. Absolutely ridiculous the hoops I have to jump through to get furniture I've already paid for.

I thought this would be a simple process but I was so wrong. Placed an order and paid in full on 6/10 and no information, delivery date or status of my order for over a week. The sales person who placed the order has evaded me for over a week, I also went to the store to get more information and still no information on my order. At my wits end I go back to the store over a week since I placed my order and still no details. I ask for a refund and they say it will take another full week for me to get my money back. Schaumburg Store and Customer Service Horrible!!! Will never buy from Ashley again!!! I bought 4,000 of furniture, at the Ashley store in Schaumburg. A desk chair, costing nearly 500 dollars, was among the items. The chair was delivered unusable. It does not recline. I went to customer service at the store and they were Zero help. And with attitude on top of that. Though I bought the chair only three days before, the store customer service person curtly said, “you have to deal with corporate”, scratched a number on a torn piece of paper and shoved it at me. I called corporate, and they said the parts would be in within 7-10 business days, after which time a technician would come out and fix it. I called after 10 business days and customer service said that the parts would not be in for at least another 3 weeks. I called after another 3 weeks and they said the parts were not in. I asked when they would be in. He basically did not know and just seemed to casually pick out a number of “about another 3-4 weeks”. It has now been two months of this ludicrous runaround. It is obvious corporate customer service has no clue, that customer service in the store is completely unless and rude (and one wonders why it is even there since they simply refer you to corporate), and ultimately corporate customer service is utterly indifferent to any accurate forecast of delivery or interested in any sense of customer accommodation. Furthermore, the fact that one must go through this phony and protracted nonsense of fixing the chair, encompassing an awaiting of parts, and then an awaiting of technicians for who knows how long, to get to the point of them actually fixing the chair, assuming they even can is a complete sham. Any honorable business would simply replaced the chair promptly. They have plenty of such chairs in inventory as they are listed for sale at numerous other places. I am basically just giving up on them. I will NEVER buy another thing at Ashley. Their customer service people should be eliminated as superfluous, inept do nothings and know nothings, and consumers should look elsewhere, to a place of integrity for purchasing their furniture.

11/27/22: We ordered a Tempurpedic mattress that came with a free adjustable base and a king size frame. We were told the mattress and adjustable base would be delivered first and the frame could be built around the adjustable base later. 2/11/23: The mattress and adjustable base were delivered without issue. 4/20/23: The delivery team built the frame around the adjustable base; they put together the 2 rails, headboard and footboard. They left a large box in my garage and said we didn't need the bed base. When they left, the frame felt a bit wobbly. I called customer service that same day to inquire if it was built correctly; the service rep offered to send another delivery team to verify the assembly. 4/29/23: 2nd delivery team came in. We told them we don't know if that base needs to be placed underneath to make the frame more sturdy. They didn't advise us otherwise and proceeded to assemble the base of the frame; removed the legs off the adjustable base, installed the slats, placed the adjustable base onto the slats (without the legs), arranged the cords of the adjustable base, placed the mattress back on top of the adjustable base. 4/30/23: My husband sat on the bed and a slat broke. He also raised the head of the bed and the adjustable base remained stuck in position. We noticed the delivery team arranged the cords incorrectly, causing the cord to break when it was raised. 5/1/23: Spoke to 3 customer reps who state Ashley Homestore (AH) isn't responsible and they will not replace nor take the adjustable base back. I told them the adjustable base broke because of their delivery team. I was given the Tempurpedic (TP) manufacturer's number; that rep said TP is not responsible if the base broke due to their faulty assembly. AH insists there is nothing they can do other than order new slats and they will not pick up the adjustable base. It was not a faulty adjustable base and Tempurpedic has nothing to do with what happened. They will not give any compensation, not even to just cover the cost to discard of the broken adjustable base (it is a large item that trash will not pick up without a fee). I will never order from this company again and would not recommend it to anyone.

11/27/22: We ordered a Tempurpedic mattress that came with a free adjustable base and a king size frame. We were told the mattress and adjustable base would be delivered first and the frame could be built around the adjustable base later. 2/11/23: The mattress and adjustable base were delivered without issue. 4/20/23: The delivery team built the frame around the adjustable base; they put together the 2 rails, headboard and footboard. They left a large box in my garage and said we didn't need the bed base. When they left, the frame felt a bit wobbly. I called customer service that same day to inquire if it was built correctly; the service rep offered to send another delivery team to verify the assembly. 4/29/23: 2nd delivery team came in. We told them we don't know if that base or other part needs to be placed underneath to make the frame more sturdy. They didn't advise us otherwise and proceeded to assemble the base of the frame; removed the legs off the adjustable base, installed the slats, placed the adjustable base onto the slats (without the legs), arranged the cords of the adjustable base, placed the mattress back on top of the adjustable base. 4/30/23: My husband sat on the bed and a slat broke. He also raised the head of the bed and the adjustable base remained stuck in position. All they keep saying is "we have a no return and no refund policy". I'm asking for neither! I'm asking for them to dispose of this adjustable base THEY caused to break or cover the cost of it being disposed. Ashley is a big corporation and gets away with issues like this. No accountability whatsoever.

Worst delivery experience ever at Schaumburg location with a 3rd party delivery men introduced by salesman. Today I walked into Ashley Furniture Store not exactly knowing what kind of couch I was needing. The second I walked into the store, I was approached by Sales Representative Helen. She was very informative but respectful and did not pressure me into making any snap decisions. Then when I found the couch, we were able to make a very great and affordable price that worked for me and for her. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would.

Only because you have to give a star for a rating. Literally awful to work with if you have any damage or return. They don't do it. I was in middle of sentence explaining to them and they cut me off and don't let you finish hand you a number and all but escort you out of the store. The number provided is to corporate that says you must work with store level. It comes off feeling like a ponzi scheme.

If I could give them 0 star, I would. This was the worst shopping experience I ever had. I will never shop here again and I highly recommend others do the same. Also, don't believe the 5 star review. Employees have family and friends putting in 5 star reviews to help with all the negativity they have been getting. I have a family member who works at an Ashley and they asked me to help them but I refused. Also, it's a waste talking to their store manager. She does not care for the customer and is extremely rude.

Terrible service.When we bought the couch and sofas they gave us a delivery date approximately,and keep pushing and pushing for three months.Finally they call us to empty the living room in order to get the new couch and sofas. They didn’t deliver the day they scheduled. I have to drive to the store to figure out what happened with the delivery. They gave us another day for delivery and also they promised to give us $50 store gift card which they never send it.And I don’t want it anymore because they lied to us.Terrible service.

I can’t stress enough how cheap this furniture is. After being pushed into purchasing a warranty, 3 weeks after receiving the furniture tears all over. When we tried to use the warranty we were told nothing could be done. The most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. Stay away, save your money.

It has been a nightmare dealing with Ashley. Do you see this huge base with the mechanical gear attached? When my parents changed their mind (before anything was delivered) and requested a standard mattress instead of an adjustable, Ashley complied but failed to note a refund for the base that goes along with it. They also refused to send anyone to pick it up and my 80-year-old parents had to slide this bulky, heavy piece of metal out of their room in order to even get into their bed and access their dressers. Bad backs and all, my parents managed to slide it into their dining room and here it sits. Savannah Stevens, the Customer Relations manager, did her best to answer other questions but ultimately said there is nothing Ashley can do to remove this item THAT NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED! I have been assisting my parents since January and the entire process has been exhausting. We ultimately chose to purchase a standard mattress from another company, and the difference is night and day. From pushy salespeople to an out of touch Corporate Office, Ashley should be ashamed of how it treats customers, especially older people who spend a lot of money and expect fair treatment for their investment.

The manager at the store Amarice Sanchez was very rude and racist. She sent our delivery to a random wrong address and refused to take responsibility to fix it and make sure our furniture is delivered to our correct address. When we asked her to fix the address she said that's not her job. And she can't fix it. When we asked her to either ship our furniture to our correct address or give us our refund and cancel our order. She became rude and loud that it's not her job. Go call corporate. Corporate said talk to your store that used the wrong address. Mrs. SANCHEZ refused to help or correct the address that she put on file in error. Horrible attitude horrible customer service. No refund and she's sending our furniture at the wrong address an error she made in the system. Never go to this place.

I give this a nuetral rating until my transaction is complete, furniture delivered. Will update then… UPDATED: Forgot a timely update… Happy with my purchase, delivery and zero percent financing. I do however wish it came with more care instructions. I’m not a wiz at cleaning but would like to know what is safe to use without returning to the store.

We enjoyed working with Jonathan Doyle and a manager that worked in tandem on our purchases. They were attentive to our likes and dislikes, and showed many different items. We never felt pressured. We purchased a sofa for our basement and a new Tempur-Pedic mattress. We wife does not usually make quick decisions. But, these guys were good enough that we make our purchases on our 2nd visit to the store without shopping around, except on Amazon. Jonathan even price-matched the same sofa we found in the Ashley Store on Amazon. An enjoyable experience.

If there were -100 stars, I WOULD GIVE! We ordered a sleeping couch from Schaumburg Ashley furniture, delivery was promised within a month, but we got it in two months. When they delivered it, it was dirty and damaged. We called customer service, waited a month until someone came to do the cleaning and repair. Repair was done horrible, more damages appeared. Some parts fell off, and they said it’s not our fault. When I asked to fix it the already “fixed” parts, The material was uneven with creases, they said they have other customer to go to. They left couch dirtier then before, all metal staples were on my carpet, wet spots on my carpet. Went back to the store, manager lady was awful, no help. She was on the break and we had to wait almost 30 minutes until she showed up. If you are the manager of the store, break or not please go and help customers with complaints. After she showed up, basically she said the store has nothing to do with it and we should call or email customer service. Gave me an email to send the complaint. I put big email with pictures and videos, but email were not delivered because they were wrong and don’t exist. Called customer service again, explaining that this is unacceptable and requested exchange or return the couch. He said no problem he will open new case, nothing happened he didn’t do it! Called again and of course new case were not opened. Still hanging with broken/dirty couch that we cannot use it, afraid it would collapse. Horrible customer service, horrible in store service! They care only to sell, what’s happening after you payed they don’t care! I will never again step foot in Ashley furniture. I wish I read all the reviews here, before I stepped to that store. We got our living room couch from Value City and they were incredible with everything! Avoid Schaumburg Ashley furniture store, there is plenty other furniture stores around that care not just to do sale, but care about their reputation. P.S several months later and still the worst service ever! Customer service is awful, they should not even exist. THE WORST COMPANY EVER! I already told all my family and friends not to shop there, please go anywhere else, but here!

One of my bed’s storage drawers came broken. The man who delivered it reported it to dispatch and I was on speaker phone being assured that a new one would come in less than a month. When it didn’t arrive I chatted with customer service who told me that it would come within a month of that conversation. It didn’t come. Another chat with customer service and I was told that there is no record of any drawer ordered for me! She said that she needed the serial number from the bed - located in back of it. I live alone and am 5’2”. I have given up and my fiancé will try to fix it. My previous experience was the wrong dresser being delivered. They tried to get me to sign for it anyway “ until the other one comes”. Thankfully I stood my ground and refused it. Much much later the correct dresser came. They have lost a good customer. Buyer beware!

If I could give 0 stars I would! I just wanted to ask where I could see a certain bedroom set in person. I called the Schaumburg store & hit option 4 to talk to customer service; I was told I should have used option 3- he only handled deliveries. I asked if he could transfer me- no. So I call back- hitting option 3 the phone rang about 8-9 times then I am disconnected. I tried 3 more times- same response. I call back to option 4- customer service- no answer. I go online & use chat to talk to an agent to ask this question. He does not have access to the information- I'm told to call my local store. I tell him of my experience- he apologizes and tells me some of the stores have problems with their phones- what???? He can't offer any other help. So I try one more store- the Algonquin store. Option #3- same response- 8 rings then I'm disconnected. 1 last try- dial option 4 for customer service- after many rings I get a person! I'm told they don't have access to a regular line- don't know what that means. He couldn't offer any more help- told me to come into the store to see if they have what I'm interested in. I was trying to avoid a wasted trip. How do you trust a company to get your order right, deliver quality furniture and address any issues if they can't get phone lines that work? This same thing happened to me a few months ago with Ashley but I thought it was a fluke- apparently not! So now I'm looking at Bob's. Good start- I called and someone picked up on the 3rd ring and was able to answer my question! Guess I know where I'll be buying my furniture!

Ordered a bedroom set in august.. promised delivery time was 2 weeks. The set was not delivered untill end of October with the 5 chest drawer completely from the wrong set. 15 calls later and 2 visits in store they were able to set up a replacement delivery.. which delivered yet again not the correct 5 chest drawer.. 3 deliveries later each time different chest being delivered none of them the one I wanted and paid for which resulted in switching it for another night stand which is cheaper. I was promisted 10% off for waiting 6 months to complete my order which wasn't the items I originally wanted and refund for the difference of the 5 chest drawer. I called 4 different times and no information on my refund.. this company is a joke. Why do you sell items u dont have in stock. I wished I spend my money elsewhere. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Dont waste your time shopping here. They quote you one price and we head back 2 hours later, only to have to work with a different sales person and a different higher quote!! Could not match previous sales quote given. Also brought in new home postcard coupon and they cannot honor as sales on floor better deal and cannot combine! Go to Bob's Furniture. Much better customer service experience and prices you cannot beat.

I went to Schaumburg location on a Wednesday and was there almost an hour. Not one person approached us and asked if we needed help! Another couple entered a minute before us and they had the same experience and left. I was quite disappointed and it cost them a sale because we found someone else who we gave our order to. Their loss our gain.

They very polite and help you to explain each and everything. Luckily I had a coupon code which they accepted and they matched online price for the product I purchased. Also they provided me some discount over it and offered free shipping to the door step. Overall my experience is very nice and I hope I will get my product soon. 👍

I don't even know where to start with how badly everything has been handled with this Ashley store and the replacement department they work with, so I guess I'll start from the beginning. I'd rather sleep on a box than ever deal with this company again.My husband and I bought a house last year and needed to obviously buy a bed set. Since we moved to Schaumburg, we thought of Ashley right away since this location is close to our house. Upon walking in, we were treated great. Everyone was nice and helpful, and of course, wanted their sale so that they could get their commission. We picked out a beautiful LOOKING farmhouse bed with matching side tables and a dresser, and we were on our merry way.Fast forward a couple of months, we got our bed with no problem, delivery was fine, and everything LOOKED fine. The delivery workers put our new mattress on top of the bed and everything looked great. We were ecstatic by how easy everything SEEMED to be.Fast forward to June 2022, I'm in the bathroom washing my face and I hear my husband screaming "OH CRAP" (not those words), and my heart sinks. THE BED SLATS LITERALLY CRACKED IN HALF UNDER HIM AND HIS HEAD ENDED UP BETWEEN THE HEADBOARD AND THE WALL.This happened June 10 when we literally got the bed in like December of 2021. We call customer support, and they tell us that they will give us new slats, and we tell them that new slats won't fix the problem because the entire rail broke too... and so we went in the store, they put in a new bed exchange in, and when that was FINALLY going to be delivered months later, the dude only came with replacement slats, even though the store said they put in a whole new replacement bed order for us. He then explains the bed is crap quality and was manufactured wrong and even if he fixed the slats, they will keep breaking. He said even if we got a whole new bed of this same model, it will never have enough support because the wood rails were literally GLUED. Basically, the bed was supported by free-hanging slat wood (cheap quality) and my husband almost broke his neck when laying in bed because the wood rails literally broke off and the wood slats cracked. The wood had support ONLY near the foot of the bed because the drawers for storage were underneath the slats, so the bed had no even support. Then, the delivery driver called Ashley on speaker phone, literally tells them everything he told me, and tells them we would like a reselection (he told us to ask for this so we could get a brand new bed design instead and he showed me a better version of the bed I already had but that has more support). They put that into the system, he sends them the pictures of our broken bed, and we were told to go into the store to choose our reselection. We would only have three days to choose a new bed.So, we take more pictures of everything, go into the store the same day, show them everything, and the people at the store literally told us they knew what bed we had based on what we were saying before even seeing the picture and how it doesn't have the best support. WHAT?! They end up putting our new bed in their system, and a dude who was the "store operator" helps us and literally says he was working at this store for 3 weeks and is already quitting with his last day being the next day because of crap like this... apparently, this happens VERY OFTEN and no one can/nor wants to deal with it. The physical store can only put in orders and try to escalate things along, but the remote replacement team is the one actually handling everything, very poorly I may add.Once the reselection order was in, we waited and waited but never heard anything even though the guy said we would hear something a few days later. We also didn't trust the store operator we dealt with because his last day was literally the day after we worked with him. A few days later, we went back into the store and they said that the order was in but that the new bed was more expensive than the old bed so the r

The sales people at this store are nice and friendly but business with this company has been a complete joke. We got our bedroom set through them around Thanksgiving and their delivery men damaged two furniture items out of our 5 piece bedroom set. Told us they’d take back the bed frame/headboard to be replaced, leaving us to have a brand new $2000 mattress sitting on our bedroom floor. 2 weeks pass and our second delivery of our bed frame/headboard replacement was reported to be broken yet AGAIN while transporting. So now, almost a month has past and we still have yet to receive our missing furniture. Today, we went to the store we ordered from to complain and they’re saying “there’s nothing they can do because the warehouse the furniture comes from is a separate company” as well as saying we can’t get a refund. So we’re screwed out of our money and furniture. I will absolutely never ever buy from Ashley furniture again! I also will be looking into a lawyer to get our money back.

Absolute terrible experience through and through. Ordered a dining room table set that was expected to be delivered before Thanksgiving, NOPE. Not only could we not host Thanksgiving at our newly purchased home, they pushed the delivery date back two more times after that! Table was finally delivered last night at 7pm, when the delivery window was set for 1-3pm! Customer service is clueless and won't help you in any way, so don't waste the time calling them. Table was delivered with scratches. The delivery guy didn't even have a screwdriver to assemble it, I had to barrow him one. Now they are trying to tell us that we can't return the table after delivery. Never again, please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I honestly can't believe these people are actually still in business. Merry xmas!

I would give it a -5 if I could. Customer service is terrible. The store manager doesn’t care. It’s almost abusive the way they treat their customers. Actually it is abuse go somewhere else. Save your time and trouble. Once they get their money, they don’t care about you the stuff isn’t delivered. You’ve never get a hold of anybody that knows what they’re doing. It’s a terrible company.

The sales representative did not commit to fully servicing my mother and I. We had a picture from the website and requested to finance the items and as we were waiting approval the sales woman didn’t bother to explore pricing, in-stock merchandise of the brand nor did she give us the exact amount and estimated delivery date- just put the sale through and told us afterwards what to expect and that it couldn’t be cancelled. Because of a language barrier, she didn’t attempt to communicate steps or alternatives. When questioning why didn’t she come back to us before finalizing, her exact words were “This is what to expect from any store during holiday deals” Not knowing she would still have a sale because our intentions were to shop with Ashley’s regardless. I was dissatisfied with being rushed to purchase a sale without being properly informed of financingt & the estimated delivery timeframe which we all know is a huge factor.

I bought a dinning set from Ashley’s in Schaumburg, Illinois and it’s been a headache dealing with this store since it got delivered. The chairs are uneven and some legs are lose and broken, the table must have fell during delivery. We don’t want the furniture - not because of the obvious flaws but because it’s horrible quality and they won’t last more than 6 months. I’ve been to Value City many times and never had issues with their purchases and/or returns. Please shop somewhere else! Ashley Furniture in Schaumburg, Il. Don’t waste your money to buy insurance My feedback to Ashley Furniture and GBS company. Employees are not familiar with their policy and procedures, and they are not familiar with their business. This company is completely waste of time. After you submit a claim, every claim get declined and they are not able to help you with anything whatsoever as a customer. I feel like I paid over $400 for the protection plan for nothing Ashley furniture ripped me off by selling me the worst insurance. I would blame Ashley furniture that they are providing the worst insurance company which is GBS. What's the point of buying the insurance if you every claim get decline and Ashley furniture store will not provide any information about the policy, qualification or disqualification. They just want to sell you the insurance to max their sales performance. Ashley store is the worst store in retail with the insurance benefit to the customers and they falsifying the statement to sell the insurance to their customer. GBS insurance company is the worst as well in the insurance business because they cannot do anything they simply decline all the claims And Both companies are extremely poor service because you will not get any help from either company.

I gave 0 star. The sales people are not good, they are very nice and helpful until you buy the product. I was supposed to get $600 in credit and after six months I have been calling every week and no results. From store level to the customers are horrible, i advice people to not buy anything from this people. I have not seen worst customer service. Don’t waist your money.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS 0 stars I WOULD. This was me and my husband first time at Ashley’s. We had purchased a couch and was given a date of delivery for Nov. 11. I then got another call from customer saying we can now expect a delivery date of Nov. 15. I then got another call from “NO CALLER ID” it turns out to be someone from customer service. She proceeds to tell me now we can expect Nov. 25. I expressed my frustration to lady and she was EXTREMELY RUDE and hung up the phone on me. I called the store and they told us we have to go inside the store. It gets worst…… me and my husband walk in there was no greeting… we seen a older short Caucasian male we ask to speak to customer service or manager. With a strong attitude he proceeds to tell us there is no manger for the day and that he’s just a sales person and can’t help. We told him to find someone to help us. So we waited by the desk while AT LEAST 6 other “sales people” walk by and proceeded to be unhelpful. Finally a lady approached my husband and threaten to call the cops and told us to get out. We waited outside till cops came. We came back in and all of the sudden the lady had a different attitude and was now willing to help. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGIAN! Ashley do better hiring and training people who are supposed to be “customer service oriented”.

I had great service in the store while making the purchase the problem is after you make the purchase. You have to continue to call to get your delivery scheduled. Once it was finally scheduled they tried to deliver 4 hours before they were supposed to. Then canceled the delivery and have had to spend hours trying to get a hold of someone who could actually reschedule the delivery. No one at customer service nor the store manager has direct contact with their delivery team. You sit on hold for hours and talk to person after person who can’t do anything. At this point I spoke to the store manager and a customer service supervisor and they keep telling me I need to wait. They call it white glove service but you definitely don’t get anything close.

Schaumburg location NEVER answers their phone . Rings and rings. Diego( who I made my purchase with) refuses to answer emails that were sent to him. Ordered furniture in July only to have it delivered end of October because of continuous back orders. Customer service is TERRIBLE. Wouldn’t find out until days before that a delivery was cancelled and pushed back weeks. Never ordering from Ashley again.

Long Story: I purchased a bunk bed on 9/27. Said it would be delivered on 10/5. Once the delivery came, the product was damaged--we sent it back. We rescheduled the delivery to 10/11. Once the bed came to the house, it was damaged again--better yet, it was delivered in moving blankets, not even in boxes. The delivery men were so embarrassed but very apologetic. I called and asked what they can do to fix this. They said they could only issue me a 10% refund on the damaged product. So after spending over $900 at their store, they were able to issue $30 back to me; ridiculous. I accepted the $30 because I didn't want to start the bed shopping process over, and I'm due to give birth in December. After accepting the $30, I rescheduled for the third delivery, 10/18, and It came damaged yet again. I walked into Ashley HomeStore in Schaumburg and spoke to the manager, Savannah, who gave me the run-around and said you can call customer service since she's not able to issue anything. I asked to speak to her Direct Report and she refused. As the manager, she should have been willing to help a paying customer to make this purchase correct and not embarrass herself since after speaking to corporate they said that she would be the one issuing me the discount on delivery charge. Needless to say, she has a fun phone call coming her way tomorrow morning. :-)In short: I would avoid this place!!!!

Quick and easy purchase of a sofa. No complaints. Everyone was really kind and enjoyable to interact with. Sardur and Brittany (sure I messed up those spellings) were really wonderful.

My delivery is incomplete. The installers said they were given the wrong rails to my bed panel and could not assemble all 4 components. I called GRT and they told me to contact the store. I drive back to the store and they tell me to call GRT. I still do not have my full delivery and nobody has been able to help me.

Completely unprofessional! Rude! Customer service sucks especially over the phone. Liars! They will give you the run around with your delivery. They have lied three different times and rescheduled appointments, stating items arent in. Why the hell set an appointment date!. I'm not sure if all Ashley Furniture stores are full of garbage. But I definitely will never go back to them and I hope customers stay away from the Woodfield location. Wish I purchased elsewhere. Three weeks going on four weeks three different appointment dates! Delivery was good and bad. Told only part of my order coming and was entire order. Great news, but had to move boxes to fit furniture. Moving men were great, helped move with a dolly. Problem 2, the wrong recliner delivered and they did not want to take back on truck. I understand, but now issue is setting up appt to pick up and deliver correct chair. It's taking a lot of phone calls and patience. Coffee table had a gouge which showed white on dark wood, and service request went good. They shipped replacement leg and technician coming to change. My advise is look over items carefully, report quicky and document.

Really poor experience, first delivery went to the wrong address, furniture was finally delivered today - table was scratched and couches did not have the legs, delivery team blamed warehouse and advised us not to accept, have tried feedback team, need to wait 24 hours to connect to feedback team. this is for two offices, has not been fun

Ordered a sectional, dining room set, end tables, and a sofa/love seat back in June and absolutely nothing is ready and it’s October. What a waste of time shopping here, just get a bunch of lies on top of more lies about when delivery will actually be. No one cares about the issue, they just continue to give false estimates on when there delivery will be. Now going on 4 months and I still sit with an empty house! Buyer beware and shop elsewhere!

My salesperson, Zara was very helpful. I found the perfect sofa, but was disappointed that I couldn't find a dining set that matched my vision.

Really poor customer service, disappointing, waited 8 weeks for furniture, the delivery team came while all the staff were at the office and left saying no one was there, but they went to the wrong office- then I was told they would not come back - I had to reschedule for another week. We are also on our 14th week of waiting for another order. Not sure we will be back!

Warehouse department will straight up lie to you about delivery times and confirmations. This place should go out of business the way they treat people.

One word, awful

Ordered a couch back on August 5th. Was told on two separate occasions that it was going to be delivered. I received a call and text confirmation and confirmed both. I stayed home from work both times waiting for the delivery. BOTH times nobody even calls I have to call them after they miss the delivery time window and BOTH times told me the same excuse. By far the most unprofessional furniture store I’ve ever dealt with. They tried scheduling me with a delivery a week from now for the third time, can be sure it wouldn’t show up again so I cancelled the order. I waited 2 months for this shipment and was blatantly lied to on two separate occasions and was never given a courtesy call on either occasion that the furniture wouldn’t be delivered that day. They don’t respect your time just want to make the sale and leave you waiting with their insanely incompetent warehouse department. DO NOT order from here go anywhere else. I cancelled my order and will be getting my furniture elsewhere.

We visited Ashley Furniture today to find a new sectional sofa for our new house. We have been looking for sometime but could not find what we wanted, when we first entered the store we saw just what we had been looking for. Vinny came over and chatted and then showed us a few others too and we made our decision and bought our new sofa. Just what we had been looking for. We went on to buy a new bed too so had a great experience with the most excellent service, would highly recommend this store and Vinny 👍

If I could give review of zero I would! Never, and I repeat never buy any piece of furniture from this store. I bought a couch back in June to have delivered in August. The shady salesman claimed that this couch never goes out of stock and that they have a huge quantity. August comes around and they deliver 2 of the 3 pieces of the couch. They claimed that the third piece was damaged and that it would be delivered in a week. I then receive a call saying it’s been back ordered one more month. After doing some research, I discovered that the couch had been discontinued in July and we would never receive the 3rd piece. Following the botched delivery, I went in store to complain and the lady said she would take the delivery charge of $140 away however they could not return the item. I went back in forth with the store and customer service. Both saying that you need to contact the other form of support. Finally after speaking with the old manager of the store and corporate we were able to return the couch and get our money back. But wait it gets better! There is still a charge of $140 on our account for delivery. I once again went in store and the new manager said they are unable to reverse the delivery charge and instead said we could pick out a piece of wall art to cover the delivery fee LMAO! Why would I pay $140 for a product I don’t even own! I then called customer service back and they claimed that the delivery fee would just MAGICALLY go away. And what do you know, the bill came the very next day. Dealing with this horrible company has been such a headache. They enjoy committing fraud on their customers and refusing to get anything done. No one at this company knows anything about the company. Please do not buy from this place!

My husband and I went to Ashley just to browse sofas with the intention of just pricing and seeing what size/style and price would work for us. We were greeted by Zara soon after entering. Zara asked what we were looking for and showed us many options. She explained each option in detail so we had information on each one. She took the time for us to try each one, find out our likes and dislikes of each with absolutely no pressure to hurry up or to buy. We really had no intention of purchasing a sofa right away because we were weighing many options for our budget and space limitations. Zara was so helpful and informative, that we ended up buying not only a sofa but also the matching chair! We are very happy with our choice and the buying experience.

Don’t bother buying here unless you’re willing to wait months for actual delivery of your item. They’ll keep pushing the delivery date out and blame it on the manufacturer. If you don’t have the item available immediately, DONT SELL IT IN YOUR SHOWROOM.

The saleswoman and salesman who were helping us really were helpful, but I unfortunately can't give 5 stars due to what I just found out. I got my dining table delivered last night, and earlier today I decided to really give it a good look to ensure it didn't get messed up somehow during transportation. Well, it turns out there's a bunch of gum stuck underneath the table. I didn't realize I had to check the undercarriage of the table I was buying! It's mind blowing and gross, especially since the table was a little over a few grand. If I was buying a used table at a garage sale I feel that I wouldn't have found gum on it since the people selling it would want to ensure it's as pristine as possible for a buyer. That's why it blows my mind the sales people didn't even bother to give it a final check before it was shipped out of their store. It made me feel as though they only care about getting something sold and after that it's not their problem. I would say make sure you REALLY inspect every inch of something you're interested in buying from here.

AVOID. Damage was made to my property by Ashley Furniture HomeStore movers. I’ve been calling for weeks now to have someone come assess damages or do literally anything and I have heard nothing back. I've called their customer service line several times and get nowhere. The refund process is also a nightmare and takes forever, meanwhile I returned something from Target and received a refund the very next day. Spend your money wisely and choose ELSEWHERE to purchase your furniture.

Very unfortunate that this store has no customer service manners! I was looking for a certain memory foam mattress and this Asian lady jump up towards to assist me but she has no patience to help me out. I was looking for a particular foam mattress and she kept pushing me to get the regular mattress. She kept insisting that the foam mattress I was looking or was not a foam mattress so I showed her the Ashley website and it did say that it’s a foam mattress! She’s discouraging me to get the foam mattress and get the regular mattress instead. I was going to compare the differences between the two. But when I was looking for the particular foam mattress the one I want, she just walked out on me and with hands up in the air and said “I don’t have it here!!” with attitude and walked out on me and never seen her shadow when I turned around! I was in total shocked! I should not be treated as such. I could have change my mind and buy any mattress I want if I was treated right. I walked out of the the store and when I looked back, the Asian lady was peeking out her head to see if I had walked out of the store. How RUDE to treat a buying customer as such!! I would not recommend this store to my family or friends.

This is the worst store snd customer service ever… we bought our 2 piece couch in January and just received the correct one today September 6th after 3 prior attempts and about 30 calls with customer service and still couldn’t figure anything out till 3/4 of a year later.

Bad bad furniture company to deal with. Make sure when you purchase your furniture you can have it on time. We were promised of 3-4 weeks delivery which is way too long already to wait for. Now its in our 8 weeks. and saying another 1 to 2 weeks. Customer service is bad. Manager on this location is useless

Delivery guys were great. We were disappointed by the fact that no one told us the delivery was only part of our order. Original delivery date was 7/18. Finally got a delivery set up for 8/18, only to find out it wasn’t our entire order. Looks like I will need to take another day off of work when the rest of it is ready. Poor communication. Very frustrating.

The furniture came 13 months after we purchased it. The dresser came with a size-able scratch (2in x 3 in area), and the delivery company damaged the mirror while installing the hardware. Overall this has not been a great experience.

We recently placed order through them for sofa and dining table. Before order they were like we can get you sofa soon and dining table will arrive in month. One month still no delivery. Still another 3 weeks time. If they cannot deliver soon why do they don’t tell realistic timeline while placing order. Went to store to check if they can help expedite, and their attitude was like we cannot do anything. It sounded as if they don’t care once u bought it. Not sure how their customer service will be in future.

I found the personnel in the store very knowledgeable and helpful. The furniture is of good quality. I have bought furniture from Ashley before, 9 and 10 years ago and it still looks like new.

I was about to buy a living room when I heard a lady arguing at the service desk about canceling purchase that she was waiting for three months they wanted to charge her 10% for canceling the purchase even they can no delivery the merchandise and they only had an estimated date after three months they also had estimate on the product I was about to buy I told the sales man that I will call at the estimated date when product will arrive to make the purchase the sales man didn't want to give me his business card so I got up and left

Unbelievable! I purchased a dining room table in December 2021 and they still have not delivered it. They have rescheduled the delivery day 6 times! The customer service representatives are so rude! The first time I called Ashley in March and asked about the delivery date (originally scheduled to be delivered in February) and the reps said "That's your problem?" I've been disconnected by CSR every time I tried calling them, over the 8 months of waiting!!! I've paid over 3k, waited that long, and got nothing but attitude from them! They named themselves as A #1 furniture store, but I would never buy anything from them again.

Not a fan of how the sales people follow you around like they do. Can't you ask if help is needed and then let people go? I bought a nasty kitchen set from them years ago that ended up being a piece of junk.. I'm leary to buy from them again! But still I continue to visit when I'm looking for something, mainly to price check.. friendly sales people would help too instead of eager leaches waiting at the door to pounce on you.

We have ordered a dining room set and a couch. We have waited months for our couch and still haven’t received it. We have had set delivery dates and then no one contacts us that it’s not even in the warehouse so they continuously change the delivery date. Diego has been the only one helpful. Other than that it’s been a nightmare buying through Ashley.

Don't believe what your salesperson says! We canceled our order due to bad reviews and pressure from our sales person and was told we would get a refund in 8 days. It has been 12 days and no refund. Also when we canceled the person on the phone said we would get a call from the cancellation department, got a call from the sales person who didn’t state who she was in the beginning. Glad I bashed her on the phone!

We had a wonderful experience in-store and couldn’t wait to come back to purchase furniture for our new home. However, the pleasant experience ended once we walked out of the store. After paying in full for our sectional and being told, definitively, that our furniture would be delivered on July 22, we never had Ashley-initiated communication again. So once July 22 comes, we have given away our old couch, rearranged work schedules, and prepped for delivery. But it never came. I called the corporate line in the afternoon and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes I finally reached a human who told me the delivery was rescheduled for August 1 because of lack of stock. I completely understand there are supply chain issues and there could be delays. However we were never given an “estimate” or 2-4 week window, so we understood our couch to be delivered on the 22nd. So now we have no living room furniture, have no idea when the delivery will arrive, or if we will even be available to accept it. After calling for a second time on Friday to confirm our august 1 date, we were then told stock was expected August 12 and they didn’t know when delivery could be made. We are so unbelievably frustrated with the lack of communication and availability of updates. I shouldn’t have to call a phone tree and stay on hold for 20 minutes each time I’d like to know when my paid-in-full item will be available. We totally would have bought the same couch if they were just honest and said it would be delivered a month+ later. Customer service and communication seems to stop once you leave the store and given other reviews, it looks like Ashley could use a look at their communication and transparency policies.

She also made sure my wife and I had time to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Can’t wait to buy more furniture and send all of my family to see her for future furniture needs!

Really bad service! We got our both sofas with damage. Today is 3rd day that we are trying to reach them for reporting damages and ask to exchange. No one answering to the call!!! The sale assistant who sold sofas to us, just keep ignoring!!!

We were shopping for a sofa and chair and tried Ashley first. Nice selection of quality furniture to check out and we found one we really liked, and there was a sale going on! The salesperson we met as we entered the store, Natalie, was friendly and professional. She directed us to the areas that we should check and followed up a few times to answer questions. She totalled the order and it looked like a good deal. Before buying we went to two other stores and neither had what we wanted at a quality or price that topped Ashley. Overall great experience buying from them!

You get followed around the store and get forced to make an appointment to come back which is not appreciated. We found a sectional we liked and bought the same couch at a different location that didn't breathe down our necks.

Ashley home furnitures, has a good management of the orders and very good communication system, though due to the supply chain disruption we had a lot of wait time however they managed to keep us informed when things started getting better There order delivery and after sales service looks good too, however we received some wrong replacement parts and lost some time but later one of the managers helped out ordering the correct replacement, which we appreciate their support, we always use ashley for our furniture requirements

If I could give this location negative stars I would. We ordered an entire bedroom set from here A YEAR AGO. The delivery keeps getting delayed. No one will answer the phone. No one can help over text. The customer service with the entire company and this location is the worst I’ve ever experienced. When we have gotten connected, it gets disconnected or the service rep hangs up. DO NOT spend your money here. Dealing with them in ANY capacity has been a complete nightmare. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

My experience with the delivery was not good they gave me a two hour window but changed it after the two hours were up. I was given 12:30-3:30pm but at 3:36 they say my delivery was good to be 4-5:25pm or so I was on the phone with a customer service rep who had the compassion of a manikinand what she said to me showed it. Nevertheless the furniture was delivered at about 350 it was not in a box it wasn’t scratched up but I don’t know if it was a floor model or not the fact that I waited almost half a year for this item itself was. I asked to speak with a manager but was disconnected,

Update: I’ve left my original 5-star review below because our in-store experience was great. EVERYTHING since then has been atrocious. We were given a delivery date of July 22 at the time of purchase. This was not communicated as an estimate. The salesperson said “it looks like we can get that delivered on July 22.” On July 22 (after getting rid of our old furniture in preparation), we hadn’t heard anything from Ashley. We called, sat on hold, scheduled a follow-up call which never came, called again, and were then informed the new delivery date was August 1. On July 29, hoping to verify the new delivery date, we called again and were informed our pieces were out of stock until August 12 and delivery would happen some time (?) after that. The rep on this call also said anything communicated in store was only an estimate, not to be understood as a scheduled delivery date. I understand supply chain issues are impacting everyone right now, but communication has been nonexistent unless initiated by us. And even then, every timeline and estimate given so far has been seemingly made up and meaningless. Original review: Diego was wonderful. He helped us find what we needed without being pushy at all. Ashley had the best options and quality of all the stores we checked in our price range.

Wishing I could give a zero for Ashley furniture and especially the Schaumburg store. We bought a sofa and loveseat along with other stuff, but 3 years later, our sofa and loveseat are falling apart. We bought the extended warranty, but Ashley will do nothing to fix or replace them. Went to the Schaumburg store, where we bought it, spoke with the manager, Johanna Rooney, which was like talking to a brick wall, and all she told us there was nothing they could do for us...not even refund our warranty money. Very poor customer service. Perhaps with this service, they will end up just like Art Van furniture... CLOSED. Look at the other reviewers and listen to what we say... Stay Away. Once they get your money, they're done with you....and soon, you'll be done with them.

TERRIBLE! If I could give them negative stars I would not hesitate! First the sales person says the bed and night stands will be delivered on June 22nd and I sat at home waiting for the delivery that never happened. I called them and they said "oh, you have to schedule that" That's not what our sales guy said. So begrudgingly we set up the deliver for the following week because they "did not have enough room on the their trucks" to deliver that week. So we confirmed the order 4 days before delivery, and as soon as we got the text, and the day before delivery they call to let us know the foot board is on back order. WHAT?!?!?!?! I confirmed on Saturday that you had the footboard, the guy I talked to the previous week said everything was good to go and the order was all there and then all of a sudden, the day before delivery, you don't have part of the order?! Not a problem with never going back to Ashley, thankfully furniture places are a dime a dozen and someone will happily take our money and deliver excellent service! Ashley is happy to take your money but fail severely on the service aspect of it!

We bought a dining set, tv stand and a couch. The sales manager told us that everything is in stock and will be delivered on a set date. We called a few days before to make sure everything was in order and we found out that the couch was on back order for another 2 weeks, fine. Then on the day of delivery we received a text notifying us of what was being delivered, only to find out that the tv stand was not on the list. We called to find out what was going on and apparently the tv stand was also now on back order. Out of the three, only the dining set arrived, the rest we cancelled. Unfortunately, the dining table was a return, because these 'professionals' left the return paper with the previous owners name attached to it, and we just found out that the chairs have wood maker already covering previous scratches, in addition to visible scratches, dents and stains they were already covered in because they did not come in any sort of packaging. It is then safe to assume that the chairs were also a return from some other person, and Ashley tried to cover the damages with wood marker before reselling them.

Stay away!!!!!!! I should have listened to the reviews and experienced buyers. Customer service and delivery was an absolute nightmare. Do yourself and look anywhere else. I will never shop here again. Worst customer service

Extremely unprofessional customer service - I took a day off work for furniture delivery and they never came. Now I find out my order is a couple weeks delayed. Poor communication.

Our experience here was amazing. We got the stuff we needed. But I would specifically thank Jeremiah and Johanna for being helpful and displaying excellent character. Jeremiah is an excellent salesperson, cool, calm and patient, who helped us out and was there for us throughout our time at the store. Jeremiah and Johanna (the manager) stayed back for us for two more hours after the store closed, to get our work done. They both even helped us get a spoon for our child who we needed to feed! Five stars!!!

There are plenty of reasons not to purchase furniture from this store again… Not from Ashley again. They let me sign the paper which was saying “final sale “ on the third page in the middle of random paragraph whereas my product was not on sale even…it was full priced kitchen stool set… and the most problematic situation arose when the dimensions on the website are not found correct when the stool arrived. I talked to store, I talked to Ashley customer service and the person who delivered the stools over the weekend… none responded correctly, the delivery guy said I can not do anything please call store…I called the store who never pickup your call you can try to experience, I went to the store they said they can not do anything call customer service, called customer service three times and they said store did not add any notes in your so they are unable to help me because it just 6 hours passed the time window….. Very very pathetic experience especially with this store members Very non cooperative when they already knew what I had to do but they never directed correctly… I won’t recommend this store to anyone. The people who are giving 1 star I strongly agree with them.

I had shopped around at a few places and found very little selection for my budget and the quality. A few places the sales person did not pay attention to what I was looking for and found myself having to repeat myself , many times over. Frustrating! My experience working with JoHanna was positive, pleasant and helpful.

The sales associate, Vinnie was helpful and provided me with the information I needed in making my decision. I received good customer service in the store but the delivery is unsatisfactory. The driver waited until the 4 hour window for my delivery expired and told me he was not delivering because it started raining and I need to call back to reschedule. I asked why he didn’t come sooner because it wasn’t raining all day. He said he was making other deliveries.I called back on the next business day and was disconnected 6 times so I called customer service instead. She informed me no delivery was made to anyone the prior day and I have to wait another week to be rescheduled. I guess I have to wait and see if they deliver next week. Otherwise I will reconsider ordering from another furniture store who can guarantee delivery when promised. Very disappointed.

I’d like to share our experience with Ashley Furniture in Schaumburg. We ordered a bed in July 2021. I understand global supply chain delays at the time and accepted. I called Ashley Furniture mainline multiple times to inquire and was told that my bed was on back order until June 2022 and I ended up canceling my order. Absolutely the worst of the worst. Spend your TIME and money elsewhere.

Bought a bed set, sales person (Matt) assure us that we’ll receive it within a month, I already thought a month was long but I guess, it has been 2 months now, I kept calling him and he was never available, I had to go to the store, talked to the manager and the delivery date they gave us it’s within an other 2 months, I am very upset… I AM REALLY UPSET!!!!! Don’t SHOP HERE AT ALL!!! Total liars!!

Ashley is always a good store. We've bought many of our recent furniture items from them. I just highly recommend going online and getting an idea of what you like. Go in person to physically check them out and double check prices online. Every time we have done that we found that the online pricing was MUCH more affordable than in-store pricing and delivery prices even differed. We bought $75 barstools online that were listed as $200 in the store! We do love the Ashley furniture products! Just do your homework.

Was in the market for a new mattress but after interacting with the friendly staff and having the same great experience I decided to purchase the mattress and another new bedroom set for my wife. Went to the Schaumburg location and spoke with the store manager who was absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Did not know annesley the first time when I went in there just to do a little browsing that I was actually with the store manager. Wonderful personality excellent character and definitely will help you precisely figure out what you're looking for and work with you if you need financing or have Financial strains. He accommodated every single one of our needs and did not ever forgot what we were looking for what was important to us. Furthermore he remembers specific things about each one of us like I have back problems and that my husband is 6. 5" to help us navigate towords the right choice! Never made us feel any kind of pressure close the deal allowed us to feel free in the space and I'm 100% impressed by the quality of furniture as well beyond I must say Schaumburg Illinois store manager is the definition of Ashley Furniture customer service. Will never ever purchase furniture from Ashley HomeStore!! Ordered a dining set on August 29, 2021 assisted by sales person Zara. Was told that the order will be ready around Dec 10th. I was fine with that and understood that there were delays. Received a message on Dec 8th saying that the furniture is ready to schedule for delivery. Called and was told that only the table is ready and that it could be delivered, chairs will be ready in January. I asked if the table can be held and delivered together with the chairs since only the table is of no use. The customer service lady I talked to said it was no problem, that they can hold the table until January and deliver all items together and scheduled a delivery end of January. Never received a delivery confirmation so called back and was told that the chairs won't be available until mid February. Rescheduled again for mid February, didn't receive any delivery update. Called again and was told that the chairs have not arrived and they would be ready end of February, scheduled delivery for February 26th. Didn't receive any communication on the delivery so called back on February 25th. Was told that the table is not ready and the estimated time is June. Was also told that there is no record of any prior scheduling and that none of the furniture is available. Then I requested to cancel the order. Talked to two different customer service persons (Paul customer service ID 1445 and Abraham customer service ID AH41). First person told me that I would get a call in 7 to 10 days to confirm cancellation and return of money. Second person said that I would get a call within 48-72 hours from their VIP service to confirm cancellation and return money. Said they could not provide any confirmation until the cancellation is confirmed. Still waiting for the call, no one has reached out. Zero accountability. Customers be warned!!

They were very patient and compassionate with our circumstances. Just had a fire at our home and need to get ideas and look around for most of the furniture we need to replace at our home. This is the worst operating store. I've ordered from Ashley many times, but this store customer service and management is far the worst you can ever experience. We had a couch ready for a pick, however my husband can't pick it up so I wanted to arrange deliver, I was connected to a lady that barely spoke english I could not understand what she was trying to tell me she didn't have any idea how to answer my questions and put me on hold several times. When I asked for the manager, she never connected me. When I asked for her name every time she put me on hold and finally after 3rd time, she dropped the call. Finally I went to the store to arrange and pay for delivery which was supposed to be available this week. When I got there, the manager told me that it's not available until the following week and somehow from 150$ delivery fee it got to 159,99$. Therefore I decided to arrange delivery with an outside company that will charge me half of that. When I got home and called to arrange delivery, the guy told me that my order was changed to delivery and now is not available for another 6 weeks.

Horrible experience, furniture was delivered damaged, was promised to be delivered Dec 13th for the sofa but came month later. Delivery person called the store sent picture of the damaged sofa the day they delivered and said store will call us to get it replaced or exchanged. I never received a call. When I called the store no one answers the phone, put on hold for so long and then it disconnects or someone purposely hangs up. My mother was admitted in ER in critical condition and I couldn't go to store right away, when I go they said you are coming after 30 days, we were sick with covid one after another I couldn't go earlier. And I was waiting for their call as I was promised by the delivery person, and couldn't get a hold of them on the phone. Its really hard for me to keep going to store and talking to them, I get a run around. When I get there then they say we will call you tomorrow. I had Horrible experience with this Ashley location. I will never buy it here again Regarding bedroom furniture kept getting delayed and after 3 months I find out that bed went out of stock only dresser available. I had to go to the store again tell them about bedroom set not being available and got refund for bedroom furniture. But sofa I am still having hard time to get it resolved

The sales person I had, told so many untruths to make the sale. The wait time for my item's looks to be month's, compared to what I was told. Ridiculous.

Went to buy a couch and a side chair. We were given a quote and a delivery date. By the time the associate entered the order, the price changed by $200 and the delivery date moved out 6 weeks. We walked out. The sales person had no clue what he was doing. He kept having to go talk to his manager. It reminded us of buying a car. Luckily there are a lot of places to buy furniture. We’ll never go back to this one.

I visited the store this past weekend with my family looking for a kitchen island. As soon as as we came in we noticed that the store had lots of inventory to offer, and the prices were decent. I was greeted by multiple people and directed to the spot where the items I was looking for would be. As we browsed around a store, associate name Joanna came up to us to see if we needed any help. She was very polite, nice and helpful with all the info she provided us with such as shipping, time of delivery, etc. She also said that they had a promotion going on and if did get it today we will have 25% off - we didn’t know this so it was really nice of her to mention this, it did decrease the price for around $300. The sale procedure was quick and easy, during which we got to know each other a little bit more. This was a great experience! We’re excited to receive our kitchen island! I recommend this store 100%.

I went here looking to buy a couch. They handed me a sheet 30% off first item, 20% off second item. But if you take them up on free financing for a year, you get nothing. I was very disappointed with all the pricing schemes. The furniture was a bit overpriced and, of course, not readily available. I spent my money elsewhere.
