Couldn’t pick up our couch 40 minutes late living hour away because nobody is in the warehouse after 5 but nobody told us anything about that they are the rudest people even there tech guy is rude asked him a question and he got a attitude I will never be going to Ashley’s ever again I recommend every one else who goes to not go there again

Such a welcoming experience but not overbearing with everyone asking questions, while somebody is still nearby enough if I had any questions. Makenzie was so sweet and knowledgeable! I didn't have a clue on what I wanted and she helped me narrow my options until I found the perfect one. She even gave me solutions and suggestions for cat hair and how to better extend the health of the furniture. Look for Makenzie if you want someone with mellow vibes during a slightly stressful situation of choosing the right set for you!

We purchased a dresser with a mirror for $1,200.00. When the dresser was delivered, there was no mirror. We called the Ashley Store, where we purchased the dresser, in Springfield Illinois, to inform them that the dresser was delivered without a mirror. The manager came on the phone and informed us that the mirror did not come with the dresser, and if we wanted it, it would be an extra $400.00!!! What??? Seriously??? But the mirror was attached to the dresser (without a sign) making it look as it was included in the price!! Not so, but we were not told this at the time of purchase! The manager advised us that this was Ashley Furniture policy! We were deceived into thinking the total price would be $1200!! Trickery at it's worst!!! All I can say is, BUYER BEWARE!!!!! We will NOT be buying anything from Ashley Furniture in the future!!!

So full disclosure, I went into the store with no intention of buying anything, and I did not end up buying anything. But I had a great experience and it was because of Sherri Noel, the salesperson who helped us. Sherri meet us just inside the door. Not at the door, enough inside that we could feel the air conditioning (it was hot outside) and our eyes could adjust to the lighting. She was cheerful and smiling and friendly. But most of all she listened to us right away and respected what we said. She showed us what we were interested in seeing, and a few extra options too. Have us gone to wander the store and talk alone, but was prompt and ready to answer questions when we had them. I not looking to buy for about 6 months since I'm moving. But I just had to give a huge shout out to Sherri because she was awesome. I'll be back. She earned my business.

My payment was only $14.00 for both my living room and queen bed room set. I could not believe it!! No finance charge for two years. What a deal! Check them out.

If I could put 0 stars I would, the experience with them has been awful !! Ordered a bedroom set , a month later they show up for delivery only at that time telling me they don't have my dresser that it was damaged and it will be reordered and at this time almost 2 weeks later still don't have or have an eta. The level up unprofessionalism showed by this store is unmatched.

We had the best experience yesterday with MacKenzie! She was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products. We bought quite a few pieces and she worked with us for well over an hour and was very patient the entire time !
We spent over $4,000 on things for our house when we moved, and EVERY SINGLE THING has broken within 3 months. Cushions on the couch ripped, dinette set not put together right so everything wobbles, not to mention it wasn’t sanded down properly so my kids and I have had multiple splinters, dresser drawers breaking and not pushing in all the way or going in too far. Our television stand came with shelves but not enough prongs to hold them in place. Our end tables and bedside tables have the same problem with the dinette set, not being sanded all the way or the drawer is already broken. I mean we spent a LOT of money on furniture, I expect it to not break within 3 months of purchasing!!! Absolutely ridiculous and I wouldn’t recommend to a single person!
I was met with Professionalism and an eagerness to help and very polite and businesslike and yet very friendly and very interested what I had purchase. The entire team was polite and non intrusive I asked for a sales person and I was Introduced to a young lady named Mackinzie. As we spoke about my need's on furnishing my apartment . She was very aware of what I was saying. She was interested on my budget, my tastes and style of furniture. She did not try to sell me something that she thought I would like. She showed me what they had in stock. And we went from there. I bought a couch, dinning room table with 4 chairs, a recliner, and slay bed. What they did not have in stock, was then ordered. All Along they kept me up to date with the status of my delivery. So when I took delivery of my furniture .They first called to confirm. We set up a time and date. When they came to deliver the furniture one item was way too big for my apartment complex.I simply called Mackinzie, she said no problem. I got a full refund on that item, easy peasy. I turn around and bought a smaller item.Which looks great. I simply recommend Ashley furniture company. Everyone from the front end staff to the delivery team are all top notch and very professional. So if you are in need of one piece furniture or in my case a whole apartment full of furniture. Ashely Furniture would be my choice. They stand behind what they say and do. Service after the sale is the best no problem's no question's they will work with you and go the extra mile. So when you go to Ashley furniture and you need someone, go in and ask for Mackenzie and tell them or her that Mr.Carman sent you. You will not go wrong. A good furniture store with quality products for your home.
Was in store for 37 mins and never once had any employees ask if we had any questions or help us out. We checked out every possible mattresses and not once did we have an employee come to us several employees were in store and behind desk. When we left 5 employees were sitting at desk and not one of them even acknowledged or asked if we found what looking for. Went to Denver mattress at furniture row was greeted at door and had excellent service. Spent our money at place that wants your business Won’t be going back to Ashley’s furniture again!!
We went to Ashley Furniture tonight about 6pm, we were there for 37 minutes, probably tried out every bed while we were there. No one asked if we needed help, or even acknowledged us. As we were walking out , we walked by the desk and there were 5 people sitting at the desk and still never got a hello, or if we needed anything. (No customers, just sitting behind the desk.) So we went to Slumberland immediately leaving and spent $3400. I will also be letting the corporate office know as well about the poor customer service. Slumberland was wonderful!

Our Home Consultant, Josh W. at the Springfield ,Il was outstanding! He greeted us and informed us of the great deals going on, then let us browse freely no pressure. When we found a living room set we were interested in he got us all the information and we went to look at other stores but we decided to come back to Ashley to purchase our set. His attitude and friendliness definitely helped us decide to come back and buy there. Thanks 😊
We should have gotten a refund when it took 3 weeks longer to receive our sectional than we were told. Now within 2 years later it is falling apart. Called to make a claim only to be told its not covered. Never again will I ever purchase something for Ashley's. To think I even referred friends to our sales lady that clearly lied about warranty. Frame it broken and cushions are falling apart. We are not hard on furniture but I do vacuum them a lot.
Very beautiful store and whoever did the set up for the displays did a great job. They are pricey and right now the inventory isn't good. You have to wait 3 months original so before you get your furniture.
Springfield Ashley Homestore is awesome!!! I went in looking for a new sofa, but I wasn’t positive on what I was wanting. Josh Walton took the time to show me all the options of what he thought I’d like, sent me all the specifications for the sofas I chose so that I could measure to make sure it would fit. Unfortunately, my first choice sectional wouldn’t fit my space but but Josh was prompt on responding back to me that what I liked about that sectional (the seat depth, the fabric, the color, that all the cushions are detached) also came in a sofa and loveseat. He sent me the specs right away, I was able to measure and this time was so happy it would fit. I drove back to Ashley Homestore, found Josh and bought them. Josh gave me the best deal for the 3 pieces I bought!!! Furniture manufacturing and delivery has been extremely lengthy lately but Josh was always available to give me an update on when each piece should arrive. I bought my furniture the very last day of September and it was delivered on the 17th of December…it may seem like a long time but I also chose to have all my pieces delivered together instead of as they came into the store. This is the best experience I have had buying any furniture…so if you’re looking for new furniture check out Ashley Homestore and ask for Josh Walton!!!!

There's a wide selection of furniture and decor. We previously purchased bed frames. They delivered and installed in our home. It was a positive experience. We're back for living room furniture. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Terri helped us this time. She was wonderful.

When we walked into the Ashley Homestore on the last Sunday of May, Josh Walton quickly met us. He showed us to two items we asked for and he left while my wife and I discussed the pros and cons of each. When Josh came back, we asked what other similar items Ashley had and he took us to a few more. We finally found a living room set both my wife and I really liked (a rare achievement, I'd like to add), he went back got a few details on it and returned with a price quote, an estimate on delivery and some welcome small-talk about some mutual connections he and I had. He was very pleasant and not pushy at all. He was there for any questions we had but didn't try to interrupt while my wife and I decided whether or not we wanted to go to the last remaining store on our day's plans or if we were more than satisfied. We were. I cannot speak about any of the other staff, but Josh was tremendous and he and Ashley made the process comfortable and easy. We cannot recommend Josh Walton at Ashley Homestore enough. And we know the first person we will seek out the next time we're in the market for home goods. Thank you wholeheartedly Josh!

I would give no stars if I could. Ordered a whole set and part of that was a bench back in mid January. Set was dining table, 6 chairs, bench and a tv console. We wanted matching of everything. Bench was told to us would not be here until end of March -beginning of April. Table took a little longer but at least the chairs were in- that's sarcasm. Anyway, tv console comes in finally and of course it's got marks and partially damaged so had to get replacement which took a month. April comes they tell us the bench is due in at the end of April We wait..... then we get told at end of April that it would be mid May or so. Then wife calls and they tell her beginning of June. I just called to get status and make sure it will be here. Guess what? Nope will be here now in July...Yep must be covid- yeah right. Called to cancel or get refund. They are cancelling and no discount and Rick was not the greatest. I would think since we have bought multiple times and we have been waiting for 5 months you would think Rick would be a little more helpful. Guess not. Don't buy if you want your stuff on time. They want to use excuses. Even Shane the delivery person left a message that said he didn't know why they would sell something knowing it would take over 6 months to get and he was embarrassed to be making the call to let us know it was delayed again. If I could leave the voice recording I would. Good luck to all of you who buy from this place.
Worse Customer Service Ever I ordered a couch on March 22nd after moving to the area. It stated while I was ordering that my delivery date would be May4th. Not having a couch this was far out but I decided to order anyway. I received a confirmation email the next morning stating my couch would be delivered June 17th. I called the local store to check this date. I was going to cancel because this was way too long to wait. I was told that the May 4th date was correct. Because of COVID they were pushing out delivery dates in confirmation emails. I called my local store again the first part of May only to be told that I’m still looking at a few weeks. The lady I spoke with was rude and told me I should just continue to wait since I have waited this long. I have also contacted “corporate” with no success. Needless to say I still have no couch with no end in sight. I will never do business with Ashley again!!!!!
I had a hundred and one questions. They were all answered within minutes. Best customer service I have had furniture wise. No pressure was applied and my opinion counted. I will be a repeat customer until otherwise.

Great furniture horrible service. There is a way to talk to customer to make them feel valued and there is a way to sell to get a commission. The sales rep at Ashley furniture are in it for the commission Pure and simple. When you are there you will feel like a dollar sign not a person. I worked with Terri Nelson and she seem more concerned to get back to the center of the store where the other sales reps were having small talk than she was to offer any reasonable customer service.All and all great Furniture horrible service.
We were looking for a couple of chairs for our kitchen table. Ashley had a large collection; we chose two and received a discount because of the President's Day sale. They were delivered in a few weeks. Heavy, well made, and perfect for our kitchen.

The furniture from this store is always high quality. Today our new couches were delivered and not only do they completely meet our expectations, the delivery team was amazing. They wore appropriate masks, were very respectful and handled everything perfectly. We could not be happier.
I called ahead to check on a couple of items before making the drive since I am from out of town. The salesperson gets on the line and was very short and brief acting like I was interrupting his time. I have shopped and purchased from here before and never experienced this before. I ended up making a purchase from online instead of going to the store and bought my other items from Slumberland where I was treated like a priority! Salespersons name was Shane.
I called in advance to ask if they had an item in store. I was told they did. It wasn’t explained to me the items in store our for viewing purposes only but that is not my complaint. My husband and I walked into the store. We were not greeted at all. A total of four associates walked past us with so much as a hello. We walked over to the customer service desk where three associates were engaged in what turns out to be a personal conversation. After waiting for several minutes I said, excuse me. Is there someone available to help us? At this point one of them offered an ear. I requested to purchase the item. The gentleman explained it was for display purposes only. I explained I had call prior to coming and I wasn’t informed of that. One of the female associates chimed in, you could shop over there and pointed her finger in the corner of the store towards the clearance section. I was mortified! Not because I wasn’t informed O couldn’t purchase directly out the store, not that she suggested the clearance section. I was mortified at the poor the customer service. As my husband and I are leaving. One of the same associates that had walked past us was happily greeting what appeared to be an older Caucasian lady entering the store. We proceeded out the store. Drove across the street and ordered from another furniture store. (I would list the name but I’m afraid they may not post my review.) Do better Ashley Furniture Associates.

So after a few misunderstandings and the wrong color being delivered, they are working with us to solve the situation. The warehouse manager is a great guy, and very helpful. I am shocked how smooth everything went. I am glad we purchased through them and while we wait for the new color to come in we will enjoy the comfort of the sectional!!!

On initial delivery date the store delivered the wrong sectional which didnt fit into my door way. On re delivery 3 months later store hadnt notified me that they canceled the previous agreement with Progleasing, i found out from leasing customer support rep, & never contacted me after the correct furniture was delivered. A month later to my surprise the store signed a 2nd lease agreement without my consent. (They also failed to show & loosly explain the terms of the agreement when initial purchase was made) Had they taken the time to contacted me they would have known i told the leasing company that I wanted to pay in full at this time. Have had a terrible experience with this Ashley store & would not recommend.

We ordered a sectional 5 weeks ago,** was supposed to be "delivered" this coming week. When we bought it our sales person, Josh W stated "this will not be on back order, it's a brand new line that came out and everything should be delivered at once". That was a lie. I went into the store today because after a day of calling the actual store and Josh himself (phone number is on your business card, don't give it out if you don't plan on continuing to help your customers after you've 'made the sale') no one answered or returned our phone calls. When I go into the store, I was told I'd get one piece of the sectional next week, another piece September 3rd (?) and another on the 16th (?) We cannot use this sectional/put it together until the last piece comes together!! But yet NO ONE** called to tell us this. Josh prides himself on customer service, yet we had no contact with him after the sale, and he updating us on the delivery status. Customer service goes on beyond after you take your clients money.. Ultimately I asked for a refund and will be taking by buisness elsewhere. You shouldn't be selling furniture in the middle of a pandemic if you're unable to obtain it all at once.
We purchased a kitchen table and stools . There was a small problem when delivered . Larry from Ashley went above and beyond to ensure everything was corrected. Only reason 4 stars not 5 was the fact there was an issue at all. They were very helpful in resolving it. Larry in repair was great !

We bought 2 couches from here. They gave us an estimated time of delivery around 6 to 8 weeks. 2 days before it was suppose to arrive (after we already got rid of our old furniture) I called the store 4 times no unswear 2 hours later they called me to let me know it would be another 6-8 weeks. Very disappointed in this service!! I’m just wasting my time and I’m glad I cancel my order Will never buy anything from here again! This Store don’t deserve one star

Ashley’s was our last stop on a long exhausting day of furniture shopping. Every other store we went to had salesman hovering and constantly asking if we need help. We weren’t able to even sit on the furniture and get a feel for it in our “living room” without some stranger barging in. When we came to Ashley the salesman Josh greeted us at the door and told us to browse and let him know if we had any questions. He let us browse and get a feel for the furniture without bothering us. When we finally had questions he had answers and was very knowledgeable about everything in the store. We were so satisfied with experience we purchased everything for our entire house at Ashley’s. I highly recommend shopping at Ashley’s!
I’ve been purchasing furniture from Ashley’s for well over 10 years now. At first their items were really well made and decent items. The last few purchases I’ve made seem to be cheaply made, sold ridiculously way over priced and damaged upon arrival. I’ve been trying to contact them to have my items replaced and I keep getting the run around. Do yourself a favor and steer clear from Ashley’s unless you want to have to replace your items frequently.

Ordered 4 chairs & 2 bar stools weeks ago. The chairs got delivered w/in couple days, but no sign of barstools. I’ve placed several phone calls leading to VM & emailed. I went into Ashley Furniture & before I could tell the manager what I was dealing with, he said he couldn’t help me bc I ordered online and that ppl are having a lot of issues w online. He would not listen to me any further & was not willing to place a phone call or point me in the right direction. Still waiting for my barstools several weeks later....
We ordered a chair that was suppose to be delivered by now. But they closed never called us. We cant get a hold of them. Wheres my 800 dollar chair dam it lol

I spent more than $12,000 in the 5years .bought a new slaybed 1month ago. They told me it would be deliver on the 14th of January, now they tell not till the 24th of January. Company coming on 22nd. Thanks Ashley. You just saw my last penny!

The sales people were great. Great about the mattress exchange. Had our bedroom set delivered. The delivery guys were TERRIBLE!!! Left screws on the floor did bother saying anything about my dresser leg falling out, on drawer handle being stripped and not being able to get it flipped around. They damaged my walls trying to get my power bare upstairs. They were unable to figure it out so I ended up doing it when I get home from work. Our head board was damaged during shipping and when the other guys came and switched it out they left stiff all over my hallway floor when they are supposed to take it away. DO NOT reccomend using the delivery service. Will never be going back.

My 17 year old daughter went looking for a bedroom set and found one she wanted. She was to buy the set and my husband & I would pick it up to save her the delivery fee. She was told delivery was all included in the price she was quoted, which it was....the price included $199.95 delivery fee!!!! We live 50 miles from the store and own a truck, so picking this up would have been zero problem. I called to complain as I believe my 17 year old daughter was taken advantage of and spoke with the manager Ricky who basically has ZERO customer service skills and told me they have every right to charge a delivery fee. I agree they have the right to charge a fee, I do not agree that they have the right to play games with words to misrepresent themselves to a younger person. Shame on us for trusting shouster sales people. We will NEVER use Ashley furniture again.

Nothing like buying a $2500 king sized bed to have it sinking in on my side of the bed after Two years! Then you call the headquarters and they tell us that they have issues with those mattresses and they send someone out to measure and take pictures. That person tells you that they can definitely see what we are talking about, but of course when this store in Springfield calls they say they can’t see anything from the picture! Come over yourself if you are going to make the final decision on it! My sons mattress from walmart has held up better than your Ashley brand mattress! I am glad we found this out before we move so we know not to deal with this store when we look for new furniture!
Check online pricing You'll get a better deal & they will match the price you see on line Even at their own store online pricing is better often. A couch that was 695.00 was on the internet for 345 I got it for the lower price no problem. The Warrenty is great as well, I burned hole in couch they replaced it.! Well worth the money if buying pricey couch set. Beware YOU have to be the one to have screwed it up not a friend.. YOU... so that's something to consider... Great selection of styles & During COVID that mailed me couch cover for my cushion at no cost..I was REALLY impressed Ashley... Thank you.

About 3 years ago I bought a motorized recliner from this store. I bought the extended protection plan. They said it was fully covered for 5 years for everything except cat damage. Well last week I noticed it was sagging to one side. I took it back to the store and left it so they could fix it. A few days later the called and said it would be $80.00 to fix the chair. I asked why the extended protection plan I payed for didn't cover the repair. They said it was the frame that broke and not the mechanism so it isn't covered. When I asked what the plan did cover they just repeated that the frame is what broke and that the mechanism is ok. Basically don't buy the protection plan. They won't honor it. Also even if the frame hadn't broken the chair hasn't held up very well for what it cost. It was one of the more expensive recliners they sold and I haven't been hard on it.

It's a good store with great deals if you find them online and then you can actually go to the store and order it and not pay the shipping or delivery fee and there is a small section in the back right hand corner with furniture they are trying to really get rid of for a good price
Store Location: Springfield, Illinois We purchased our bedroom set on May 29 & were told it would be 2-3 weeks, a month goes by & no one has called about the set so we go to the store & speak with the manager who tells us it will be July 21 or 23 because it’s on back order, he offers zero discount or anything for customer service other than “sorry”, July 23 comes & still nothing & still no phone call from the store so I call and ask where it is and I’m told now it will be August 2, so I asked to speak with a general manager who I was told is “David” but he is not in and will call me Tuesday the 24th, no one calls so I call again on Wednesday July 25 and speak with a guy named “Q” who says he will have the district manager “Scott” call me. I contacted Ashley’s consumer affairs division and all they did was take down the complaint and that someone would get back to me, not one person ever called, it is now August 2 & I went to the store & am now told it will be August 10, all they say is it’s not there fault it’s the manufacturers and again no explanation as to why no one can ever call to update me. Horrible customer service!!! We will be getting a refund and purchasing somewhere else.

I am giving Ashley's a 2 star review because of the lack of commitment our sales lady had for our last sale. We came to Ashley's because we experienced horrible service from another furniture company in town. I called Ashley's after that bad experience and my sales lady immediately jumped on the sale and got me what I asked for, ok awesome. I came back and purchased more from her including a king bed, paid over 5000.00 for it. She originally sold us a cooling mattress pad for the bed, not just for comfort but protection of the foam mattress. I failed to pay attention to the water selection on my washer and ruined the mattress cover. That was my fault. I told my sales lady I needed a new one and she instructed me to call the company that made the mattress cover. I told her I wasn't looking for anything free just wanted to buy a new cover, because it was my fault. She insisted, she wanted to take care of us and stated multiple times she would either bring the mattress cover to my work or leave it at the front desk. I called multiple times but got the excuse "the head honchos " was there and she'd have to wait til they were gone. I reminded her I wasn't looking for anything free and just wanted the mattress cover for my bed. I received a call 2 weeks later from Ashley's thinking it was my sales lady with news of the cover. It was the front desk staff asking how my delivery was. They were extremely nice. I asked to speak with my sales lady and when I did, I asked again about the cover"don't worry, I got you covered but the hed honchos are still here" I then became frustrated and ended up ordering a 50.00 temporary cover offline, so If something happened, my warranty wouldn't be void on my foam mattress. Here it is 6 months later and I had to drive to the Ashley's store and order one myself, today. Don't get me wrong, there are some outstanding employees at that store, however, I will not buy anything from that sales lady again. I was important when I was spending a good chunk of money there, but after the sale, I didn't matter. The sad thing is, It was only 100.00 for the cover. Like I said, I ruined it and didn't expect anything free. I to am in business and don't believe in scamming companies or taking advantage of their services. This was a big disappointment on our end. We are in the market for an entire living room set and kitchen set. I am not real sure I will go back and if I do, she will not get the sale.

Purchased two Walworth leather recliners about a year ago. The finish started peeling off one of the leather recliners a few weeks ago. Neither the local store, nor the Ashley Corporation has responded to my requests for repair or replacement. I heard stories about poor quality and customer service from Ashley before I purchased them. Should have paid attention to what I heard from past customers.

Thought we were getting a great deal on some beautiful furniture but when a delivery date was set up and we called to confirm it the night before, they had put a date a week later and we were offered no apology, no offer to bring the furniture to us any sooner and basically told that's the date and that's when it will be there. The manager was extremely Rude, when I went in for a refund he walked up, handed me a check, said not one word and went to walk away. I will continue to spread the word about the terrible service we got in the store so that no one else has to deal with it!

The prices are reasonable, the selection excellent, the shopping experience relaxing, and you receive personal attention from the sales consultants. Felt like a used car salesman wasn't impressed
I have had the abosolute worst experience ever at this store. I purchased a living room set and tables at this store. I was told it would take 2weeks to come in. After the 3rd week I called them. They told me that my sales person told me wrong and 4 weeks they come in. After the they came in my tables were damaged. I called and they had to send someone out to look at them and tell me "yes they are damaged pretty bad". Si they ordered me a couple more tables. After they 3rd week I called the store to find out that my tables were on back order. I would not have known anything any of these times if I had not called the store. My tables finally came in and they were even damaged worst than the first tables. Now they were delivered both times so you would think that they would look at them before bring them to someone's home. So I had to repeat the same steps over again. 4 weeks have gone by and I had to call the store to find out where my freaking tables are and they told my that they are on back order again and would get to me as soon as they come in. AGAIN I HAD TI CALL THEM. WHERE THE HELL IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TAKING CARE OF THE CUSTOMER? I know my $ 3,000 dollars is not much to them but, as of now they can come and get all this furniture I purchased, refund all my money, and I will go somewhere else. Oh yeah and because my store is a privately owned store there is no one to go to to complain or seek help from other than the store itself. The owner doesn't care he already has his money. A very oissed off former customer.

Is there a way to rate 0 stars? I paid cash for a couch set that was on display but would have to be ordered. 3 weeks for delivery is what I was promised. 3 weeks passed and nothing. It will be pushed back 2 more weeks. Called after two more weeks and nothing, yet. It will be another month, now. IF YOU CAN'T PROVIDE THE PRODUCT YOU PROMISED, THEN THAT IS THEFT. You can tell the employee's work on commission, pushy, nasty, follow you around like you are a crook. You don't have to breathe down my neck. Makes you not want to shop here.

Working with the local store was great... BUT BEWARE of ordering ANYTHING through the corporate website... they don't care about customer satisfaction if they can get out of a return they will. Luckily my credit card company offers guaranteed returns so I'm going to contact them.... at least they value their customers.. Local store was great to work with and sale people very helpful, they are independently owned and separate from corporate website but they will match website price so go that way. I learned my lesson the hard way

Totally professional, not pushy, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process! We ordered a sofa, chair, ottoman, and coffee table, which was promised in two weeks. Two weeks later our furniture was in. We live over an hour away and decided to pick up the furniture ourselves. When we picked it up it took less than fifteen minutes. An employee helped my husband load it onto our trailer and we were on our way. Love the new furniture, it looks amazing in our new home, and I couldn't be any happier. Today we received a follow up call to see if we had any problems with the process or the furniture. I would highly recommend this store to anyone!
I have made 2 very large purchases from Ashley in Springfield. My complaint is not with the sales people or the products - rather, Dana, the woman that works at the desk in which you check out. She is hands down the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. As a result of the way in which she treated me, I will take my business elsewhere. Anyone who spends over $12,000 deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism; neither of which are in her vocabulary.

Ron is a very personable; he was very responsive to my wife and our three children. We have been working with him over the past several months and he has always been very straightforward and knowledgeable about the products in the store.
Ron Morgason assisted us with the purchase of our sofa and love seat. Could not ask for better assistance. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of the options we were interested in and also the payment plans available to us verse paying for the furniture in full. We have purchased furniture at Ashley Furniture before but the customer service just keeps getting better!
I went to the Home Store for the first time looking for a sofa with my fiancé. I was soon greeted by a man named Ron Morgason who showed me around the whole store, and helped me pick out an entire living room set for less than I expected to pay for just the sofa! And I got a 5 YEAR WARRANTY!! We are soon getting a place together and Ron understood we have a big deposit to worry about, so we paid nothing on that day, and the down payment was put into the loan!!! Not only is that man good at his job but he said that my fiancé and I make a great couple. Made my day!!!!
The salesman we have dealt with twice - once approximately five months ago, and again yesterday. Shortly after we entered he recalled our having come in. He was very easy to work with.

My husband and I have purchased many things from Ashley Furniture in Springfield, IL. In 2007 we purchased a 6 piece living room set with two lamps and in 2014 we bought a 5 piece queen bedroom set to include two framed pictures. I have also purchased many accessory items over the last several years. We are very pleased with the quality of the items that we have bought there. The service is outstanding at Ashley Furniture in Springfield, IL. The sales reps are very informative without being pushy. The delivery staff was very professional when they delivered all of our furniture. We had a small problem with the alignment of a drawer in the foot board of our bed and they got us the replacement part within days, delivered it and exchanged it out. The customer service is top notch. They have a very friendly staff and they are highly knowledgeable about their products, services and financing. I would definitely recommend shopping at Ashley Furniture Springfield the next time you are wanting the latest styles in furniture and the most professional service.
Floor salesman... 1) Quoted us a very low financing option and half an hour later, after he had piqued our interest, said he wasn't allowed to offer that option to anyone 2) Slow at using a computer to look up furniture 3) Insisted people from our town were the nicest he's ever met, which rang hollow- which should have been a sign on the financing thing We found what we wanted at a price that was better than AFHS at Hendrick's Home Furnishings in Virden, Il.
Absolutely horrible experience. Promised delivery on a certain date. Failed to deliver. Had taken the day off work for this. Called and scheduled delivery on date of their choice which was not a good day for me, but I said as long as I was first stop on route it would work. Called to inquire after they were over an hour late and was told drivers were at their first stop of the day. Ummm, excuse me? Asked to speak to a manager and was given to the guy who sold the furniture and lied about the delivery date. He was a complete moron. Never did speak to anyone in charge after he hung up on me. Awful. There should be a way to rate them zero stars.
My salesman was so very helpful and eager to sell me something, told me my delivery of my new couch would be on May 7th and if it was not that he would call and inform me. I never received a call and so sent my couch out to the dump the night prior expecting my new sectional. did not receive a call today to verify my delivery time so i called them. I do not have a new sectional coming today, in fact they wont have it until the 10 and then deliver it on the 14th so i will have to go a week without any furniture to sit on all because my salesman, the manager, or the delivery department choose not to call and inform me about the change of schedule. The general lack of professionalism at this store is nauseating and infuriating.
We purchased a king sized Stearns and Foster mattress from the Springfield, IL. HomeStore to put on an existing bedframe. The mattress was excellent, but when it was delivered, it was really way too tall to use on the bedframe as we had planned. NO PROBLEM!! The store ran out ANOTHER delivery, at no charge (I'm 30 miles from the store), to replace the full height foundation (which I had ordered) with a "low profile" foundation. The drivers were quick and courteous and able to replace the foundation easily. We were able to keep the mattress and now it works great with the bedframe and our existing King sheets. We really thought that the store went above and beyond when it came to making sure that we were happy with our purchase and making it fit with a bedframe that we didn't even buy from them. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend the service and customer care that I got from the Springfield Ashley Store.
