They were hands down some of the best service we have ever received in regard to patients information and overall helplessness! We recently moved back to Illinois and needed to get some furniture for our home. Sherri Noel was so awesome helping us find everything that we wanted.

Placed a large order and specifically stated the items could not be delivered until an August date. Half the order was delivered 4 weeks early and left outside in the rain. The boxes, with wood products inside, completely soaked and falling apart. Tried to get Ashley to do the right thing and take these back, but they refused. Extremely poor customer service.

Mrs. Sherri is professional and she has excellent customer service skills. I would highly recommend her when shopping at Ashley’s furniture.

I wanted to share my experience working with your store, and I am very impressed with the customer service provided by your staff, especially Devan.  After trying to place an order at another location, we kept running into payment issues. When I called the store to check to see if we could place the order with your location instead, I was greeted very promptly on the phone and transferred to Devan, who helped us put together the order and arrange payment.  Not only that, I had sent a quote for the previous order, and the color of the furniture was incorrect, which Devan discovered and helped rectify after speaking with the recipients. He has also been keeping them updated on the status, and I must say I am very impressed. Keep it up, Devan and the associates at this location!

She was very patient with us…we couldn’t decide on which couch and made multiple visits before we decided. She was very knowledgeable about the different fabrics and styles we were looking at. We are excited for our furniture and new bed to arrive. Highly recommend going to talk to Makenzie if you are looking for new furniture!

Scam store. Sales person wrote down a more expensive mattress on our order and not the mattress we wanted. So after delivery we realized it was the wrong mattress. Called and they said we got the mattress we ordered (we didn't) but we have 30 day we don't like it exchange policy. Only thing is they still charge customer for the more expensive mattress. Totally scammed by the salesperson to get a bigger commission.

Terrible service. Was delivered an incorrect mattress, we switched for the correct mattress and add a foundation. The correct mattress was delivered with no low profile foundation. Ashley told us that we had to pay another delivery charge for their screw up. We also found out that we have to pay for whatever the higher price is on the mattresses. The correct mattress was less expensive, but we were charged for the more expensive mattress, and their manager told us that their store keeps the difference. So now we have to pay for something we didn't order?

We purchased a dresser with a mirror for $1,200.00. When the dresser was delivered, there was no mirror. We called the Ashley Store, where we purchased the dresser, in Springfield Illinois, to inform them that the dresser was delivered without a mirror. The manager came on the phone and informed us that the mirror did not come with the dresser, and if we wanted it, it would be an extra $400.00!!! What??? Seriously??? But the mirror was attached to the dresser (without a sign) making it look as it was included in the price!! Not so, but we were not told this at the time of purchase! The manager advised us that this was Ashley Furniture policy! We were deceived into thinking the total price would be $1200!! Trickery at it's worst!!! All I can say is, BUYER BEWARE!!!!! We will NOT be buying anything from Ashley Furniture in the future!!!

So full disclosure, I went into the store with no intention of buying anything, and I did not end up buying anything. But I had a great experience and it was because of Sherri Noel, the salesperson who helped us. Sherri meet us just inside the door. Not at the door, enough inside that we could feel the air conditioning (it was hot outside) and our eyes could adjust to the lighting. She was cheerful and smiling and friendly. But most of all she listened to us right away and respected what we said. She showed us what we were interested in seeing, and a few extra options too. Have us gone to wander the store and talk alone, but was prompt and ready to answer questions when we had them. I not looking to buy for about 6 months since I'm moving. But I just had to give a huge shout out to Sherri because she was awesome. I'll be back. She earned my business.

Ordered a bedroom set , a month later they show up for delivery only at that time telling me they don't have my dresser that it was damaged and it will be reordered and at this time almost 2 weeks later still don't have or have an eta. The level up unprofessionalism showed by this store is unmatched.

We had the best experience yesterday with MacKenzie! She was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products. We bought quite a few pieces and she worked with us for well over an hour and was very patient the entire time !

We spent over $4,000 on things for our house when we moved, and EVERY SINGLE THING has broken within 3 months. Cushions on the couch ripped, dinette set not put together right so everything wobbles, not to mention it wasn’t sanded down properly so my kids and I have had multiple splinters, dresser drawers breaking and not pushing in all the way or going in too far. Our television stand came with shelves but not enough prongs to hold them in place. Our end tables and bedside tables have the same problem with the dinette set, not being sanded all the way or the drawer is already broken. I mean we spent a LOT of money on furniture, I expect it to not break within 3 months of purchasing!!! Absolutely ridiculous and I wouldn’t recommend to a single person!

I was met with Professionalism and an eagerness to help and very polite and businesslike and yet very friendly and very interested what I had purchase. The entire team was polite and non intrusive I asked for a sales person and I was Introduced to a young lady named Mackinzie. As we spoke about my need's on furnishing my apartment . She was very aware of what I was saying. She was interested on my budget, my tastes and style of furniture. She did not try to sell me something that she thought I would like. She showed me what they had in stock. And we went from there. I bought a couch, dinning room table with 4 chairs, a recliner, and slay bed. What they did not have in stock, was then ordered. All Along they kept me up to date with the status of my delivery. So when I took delivery of my furniture .They first called to confirm. We set up a time and date. When they came to deliver the furniture one item was way too big for my apartment complex.I simply called Mackinzie, she said no problem. I got a full refund on that item, easy peasy. I turn around and bought a smaller item.Which looks great. I simply recommend Ashley furniture company. Everyone from the front end staff to the delivery team are all top notch and very professional. So if you are in need of one piece furniture or in my case a whole apartment full of furniture. Ashely Furniture would be my choice. They stand behind what they say and do. Service after the sale is the best no problem's no question's they will work with you and go the extra mile. So when you go to Ashley furniture and you need someone, go in and ask for Mackenzie and tell them or her that Mr.Carman sent you. You will not go wrong. A good furniture store with quality products for your home.

Was in store for 37 mins and never once had any employees ask if we had any questions or help us out. We checked out every possible mattresses and not once did we have an employee come to us several employees were in store and behind desk. When we left 5 employees were sitting at desk and not one of them even acknowledged or asked if we found what looking for. Went to Denver mattress at furniture row was greeted at door and had excellent service. Spent our money at place that wants your business Won’t be going back to Ashley’s furniture again!!

We went to Ashley Furniture tonight about 6pm, we were there for 37 minutes, probably tried out every bed while we were there. No one asked if we needed help, or even acknowledged us. As we were walking out , we walked by the desk and there were 5 people sitting at the desk and still never got a hello, or if we needed anything. (No customers, just sitting behind the desk.) So we went to Slumberland immediately leaving and spent $3400. I will also be letting the corporate office know as well about the poor customer service. Slumberland was wonderful!

Our Home Consultant, Josh W. at the Springfield ,Il was outstanding! He greeted us and informed us of the great deals going on, then let us browse freely no pressure. When we found a living room set we were interested in he got us all the information and we went to look at other stores but we decided to come back to Ashley to purchase our set. His attitude and friendliness definitely helped us decide to come back and buy there. Thanks 😊

We should have gotten a refund when it took 3 weeks longer to receive our sectional than we were told. Now within 2 years later it is falling apart. Called to make a claim only to be told its not covered. Never again will I ever purchase something for Ashley's. To think I even referred friends to our sales lady that clearly lied about warranty. Frame it broken and cushions are falling apart. We are not hard on furniture but I do vacuum them a lot.

Very beautiful store and whoever did the set up for the displays did a great job. They are pricey and right now the inventory isn't good. You have to wait 3 months original so before you get your furniture.

Springfield Ashley Homestore is awesome!!! I went in looking for a new sofa, but I wasn’t positive on what I was wanting. Josh Walton took the time to show me all the options of what he thought I’d like, sent me all the specifications for the sofas I chose so that I could measure to make sure it would fit. Unfortunately, my first choice sectional wouldn’t fit my space but but Josh was prompt on responding back to me that what I liked about that sectional (the seat depth, the fabric, the color, that all the cushions are detached) also came in a sofa and loveseat. He sent me the specs right away, I was able to measure and this time was so happy it would fit. I drove back to Ashley Homestore, found Josh and bought them. Josh gave me the best deal for the 3 pieces I bought!!! Furniture manufacturing and delivery has been extremely lengthy lately but Josh was always available to give me an update on when each piece should arrive. I bought my furniture the very last day of September and it was delivered on the 17th of December…it may seem like a long time but I also chose to have all my pieces delivered together instead of as they came into the store. This is the best experience I have had buying any furniture…so if you’re looking for new furniture check out Ashley Homestore and ask for Josh Walton!!!!

Our salesman Josh was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE and was with us every step of the way. We actually ordered a piece that ended up being too big and he was able to get it taken care of without any hassle. We will be back!!!

There's a wide selection of furniture and decor. We previously purchased bed frames. They delivered and installed in our home. It was a positive experience. We're back for living room furniture. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Terri helped us this time. She was wonderful.

When we walked into the Ashley Homestore on the last Sunday of May, Josh Walton quickly met us. He showed us to two items we asked for and he left while my wife and I discussed the pros and cons of each. When Josh came back, we asked what other similar items Ashley had and he took us to a few more. We finally found a living room set both my wife and I really liked (a rare achievement, I'd like to add), he went back got a few details on it and returned with a price quote, an estimate on delivery and some welcome small-talk about some mutual connections he and I had. He was very pleasant and not pushy at all. He was there for any questions we had but didn't try to interrupt while my wife and I decided whether or not we wanted to go to the last remaining store on our day's plans or if we were more than satisfied. We were. I cannot speak about any of the other staff, but Josh was tremendous and he and Ashley made the process comfortable and easy. We cannot recommend Josh Walton at Ashley Homestore enough. And we know the first person we will seek out the next time we're in the market for home goods. Thank you wholeheartedly Josh!

I would give no stars if I could. Ordered a whole set and part of that was a bench back in mid January. Set was dining table, 6 chairs, bench and a tv console. We wanted matching of everything. Bench was told to us would not be here until end of March -beginning of April. Table took a little longer but at least the chairs were in- that's sarcasm. Anyway, tv console comes in finally and of course it's got marks and partially damaged so had to get replacement which took a month. April comes they tell us the bench is due in at the end of April We wait..... then we get told at end of April that it would be mid May or so. Then wife calls and they tell her beginning of June. I just called to get status and make sure it will be here. Guess what? Nope will be here now in July...Yep must be covid- yeah right. Called to cancel or get refund. They are cancelling and no discount and Rick was not the greatest. I would think since we have bought multiple times and we have been waiting for 5 months you would think Rick would be a little more helpful. Guess not. Don't buy if you want your stuff on time. They want to use excuses. Even Shane the delivery person left a message that said he didn't know why they would sell something knowing it would take over 6 months to get and he was embarrassed to be making the call to let us know it was delayed again. If I could leave the voice recording I would. Good luck to all of you who buy from this place.

Worse Customer Service Ever I ordered a couch on March 22nd after moving to the area. It stated while I was ordering that my delivery date would be May4th. Not having a couch this was far out but I decided to order anyway. I received a confirmation email the next morning stating my couch would be delivered June 17th. I called the local store to check this date. I was going to cancel because this was way too long to wait. I was told that the May 4th date was correct. Because of COVID they were pushing out delivery dates in confirmation emails. I called my local store again the first part of May only to be told that I’m still looking at a few weeks. The lady I spoke with was rude and told me I should just continue to wait since I have waited this long. I have also contacted “corporate” with no success. Needless to say I still have no couch with no end in sight. I will never do business with Ashley again!!!!!

I had a hundred and one questions. They were all answered within minutes. Best customer service I have had furniture wise. No pressure was applied and my opinion counted. I will be a repeat customer until otherwise.

Could be better

Great furniture horrible service. There is a way to talk to customer to make them feel valued and there is a way to sell to get a commission. The sales rep at Ashley furniture are in it for the commission Pure and simple. When you are there you will feel like a dollar sign not a person. I worked with Terri Nelson and she seem more concerned to get back to the center of the store where the other sales reps were having small talk than she was to offer any reasonable customer service.All and all great Furniture horrible service.

We were looking for a couple of chairs for our kitchen table. Ashley had a large collection; we chose two and received a discount because of the President's Day sale. They were delivered in a few weeks. Heavy, well made, and perfect for our kitchen.

The furniture from this store is always high quality. Today our new couches were delivered and not only do they completely meet our expectations, the delivery team was amazing. They wore appropriate masks, were very respectful and handled everything perfectly. We could not be happier.

I called ahead to check on a couple of items before making the drive since I am from out of town. The salesperson gets on the line and was very short and brief acting like I was interrupting his time. I have shopped and purchased from here before and never experienced this before. I ended up making a purchase from online instead of going to the store and bought my other items from Slumberland where I was treated like a priority! Salespersons name was Shane.

I called in advance to ask if they had an item in store. I was told they did. It wasn’t explained to me the items in store our for viewing purposes only but that is not my complaint. My husband and I walked into the store. We were not greeted at all. A total of four associates walked past us with so much as a hello. We walked over to the customer service desk where three associates were engaged in what turns out to be a personal conversation. After waiting for several minutes I said, excuse me. Is there someone available to help us? At this point one of them offered an ear. I requested to purchase the item. The gentleman explained it was for display purposes only. I explained I had call prior to coming and I wasn’t informed of that. One of the female associates chimed in, you could shop over there and pointed her finger in the corner of the store towards the clearance section. I was mortified! Not because I wasn’t informed O couldn’t purchase directly out the store, not that she suggested the clearance section. I was mortified at the poor the customer service. As my husband and I are leaving. One of the same associates that had walked past us was happily greeting what appeared to be an older Caucasian lady entering the store. We proceeded out the store. Drove across the street and ordered from another furniture store. (I would list the name but I’m afraid they may not post my review.) Do better Ashley Furniture Associates.

So after a few misunderstandings and the wrong color being delivered, they are working with us to solve the situation. The warehouse manager is a great guy, and very helpful. I am shocked how smooth everything went. I am glad we purchased through them and while we wait for the new color to come in we will enjoy the comfort of the sectional!!!

On initial delivery date the store delivered the wrong sectional which didnt fit into my door way. On re delivery 3 months later store hadnt notified me that they canceled the previous agreement with Progleasing, i found out from leasing customer support rep, & never contacted me after the correct furniture was delivered. A month later to my surprise the store signed a 2nd lease agreement without my consent. (They also failed to show & loosly explain the terms of the agreement when initial purchase was made) Had they taken the time to contacted me they would have known i told the leasing company that I wanted to pay in full at this time. Have had a terrible experience with this Ashley store & would not recommend.

We ordered a sectional 5 weeks ago,** was supposed to be "delivered" this coming week. When we bought it our sales person, Josh W stated "this will not be on back order, it's a brand new line that came out and everything should be delivered at once". That was a lie. I went into the store today because after a day of calling the actual store and Josh himself (phone number is on your business card, don't give it out if you don't plan on continuing to help your customers after you've 'made the sale') no one answered or returned our phone calls. When I go into the store, I was told I'd get one piece of the sectional next week, another piece September 3rd (?) and another on the 16th (?) We cannot use this sectional/put it together until the last piece comes together!! But yet NO ONE** called to tell us this. Josh prides himself on customer service, yet we had no contact with him after the sale, and he updating us on the delivery status. Customer service goes on beyond after you take your clients money.. Ultimately I asked for a refund and will be taking by buisness elsewhere. You shouldn't be selling furniture in the middle of a pandemic if you're unable to obtain it all at once.

We purchased a kitchen table and stools . There was a small problem when delivered . Larry from Ashley went above and beyond to ensure everything was corrected. Only reason 4 stars not 5 was the fact there was an issue at all. They were very helpful in resolving it. Larry in repair was great !

Great experience working with Josh to purchase a sleeper sofa. He explained the different sleeper builds and got us set up with what we wanted. He is easy to work with without any sales pressure- great experience. Will be back for more purchases!

We bought 2 couches from here. They gave us an estimated time of delivery around 6 to 8 weeks. 2 days before it was suppose to arrive (after we already got rid of our old furniture) I called the store 4 times no unswear 2 hours later they called me to let me know it would be another 6-8 weeks. Very disappointed in this service!! I’m just wasting my time and I’m glad I cancel my order Will never buy anything from here again! This Store don’t deserve one star

Ashley’s was our last stop on a long exhausting day of furniture shopping. Every other store we went to had salesman hovering and constantly asking if we need help. We weren’t able to even sit on the furniture and get a feel for it in our “living room” without some stranger barging in. When we came to Ashley the salesman Josh greeted us at the door and told us to browse and let him know if we had any questions. He let us browse and get a feel for the furniture without bothering us. When we finally had questions he had answers and was very knowledgeable about everything in the store. We were so satisfied with experience we purchased everything for our entire house at Ashley’s. I highly recommend shopping at Ashley’s!

I’ve been purchasing furniture from Ashley’s for well over 10 years now. At first their items were really well made and decent items. The last few purchases I’ve made seem to be cheaply made, sold ridiculously way over priced and damaged upon arrival. I’ve been trying to contact them to have my items replaced and I keep getting the run around. Do yourself a favor and steer clear from Ashley’s unless you want to have to replace your items frequently.

Ordered 4 chairs & 2 bar stools weeks ago. The chairs got delivered w/in couple days, but no sign of barstools. I’ve placed several phone calls leading to VM & emailed. I went into Ashley Furniture & before I could tell the manager what I was dealing with, he said he couldn’t help me bc I ordered online and that ppl are having a lot of issues w online. He would not listen to me any further & was not willing to place a phone call or point me in the right direction. Still waiting for my barstools several weeks later....

We ordered a chair that was suppose to be delivered by now. But they closed never called us. We cant get a hold of them. Wheres my 800 dollar chair dam it lol

Like furniture

I spent more than $12,000 in the 5years .bought a new slaybed 1month ago. They told me it would be deliver on the 14th of January, now they tell not till the 24th of January. Company coming on 22nd. Thanks Ashley. You just saw my last penny!

Josh was an excellent salesman until he showed me he didn't know the difference between a full a queen and a king then he wanted to argue and act like a little kid so glad I didn't purchase from them

The people are very friendly you'll fall in love with the furniture and the prices are reasonable.

Josh was very courteous and took the time to understand what the most important quality I was looking for in my living room set. I never felt pressured and always felt respected.

The sales people were great. Great about the mattress exchange. Had our bedroom set delivered. The delivery guys were TERRIBLE!!! Left screws on the floor did bother saying anything about my dresser leg falling out, on drawer handle being stripped and not being able to get it flipped around. They damaged my walls trying to get my power bare upstairs. They were unable to figure it out so I ended up doing it when I get home from work. Our head board was damaged during shipping and when the other guys came and switched it out they left stiff all over my hallway floor when they are supposed to take it away. DO NOT reccomend using the delivery service. Will never be going back.
