Good customer service !

I was very grateful for the,access of a wheelchair as I'm 85 and on oxygen and walk with a walker. And I had serious shopping to do. My Son had been in a few days ago and met a young lady named, Cynthia, and I was glad to see that she was there to help me. I quickly agreed with my Son's assessment of her as being a very sharp and quick with information we ask for.You have a beautiful store and I love the beautiful Loveseat I bought there.

We had an excellent experience at the Ashley Furniture store in Avon, IN thanks to our salesman, Mr. Rodriguez. He was friendly, professional, and very patient while helping us pick out exactly what we needed. He took the time to answer all of our questions, gave honest recommendations, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. We’re very happy with our purchase and would absolutely recommend asking for Mr. Rodriguez if you shop here!

Very informative and helpful on how I could find the best mattress to fit my needs.

The gentlemen who came to my house and delivered my dining table, living room sectional and bedroom set were very respectful of my home and me, they were very careful and made sure I was satisfied before they left. The furniture arrived brand new just as I expected, I am very happy with my purchase and delivery.

We bought a Sterns and Foster bed from them. It broke down very quickly. We called the support and they sent out a technician. He looked at it sid it was very bad. Then nothing from them at all. We called back they said they needed a second opinion. The send one out he did nit make they canceled the appointment and rescheduled. Nor today the send out a technician. She went to the wrong address. So they canceled the appointment. I still have almost an impossible bed to sleep on all the Springs are broken. I weight 130 pounds my husband weighys 190. It should nit be doing this. I am extremely disappointed. We have to do something we can not sleep on this bed any more. I have called and called several times. The tech did show up she was wonderful. She is an asset to the company. Now we will see what the company's answer will be.

rude peoples there customer service is bad!

We just bought a three-piece sectional and it is a nice piece of furniture for the $. We did ask the salesman if the pieces of the sectional were connected and he said yes and they’re not. Do your own homework? The main reason I’m doing this review is that the delivery guys even though they were polite they were rushed. Thank God, I took the time to remove some of the hardware on the 36 inch door. I had to slow them down several times, the last time I had to get defensive saying that you need to remove the large cushions and pillows out of the 7 foot couch. They struggled to say the least!! . I worked for Mayflower moving company for a summer in college and in logistics in my career. In the process of still struggling they damaged my new front entry door and crushed A spot in my laminate floor. Thanks……… Sadly, with the rush job, I didn’t have time to identify this until they had left. My only recommendation is don’t sign for the furniture if something is damaged to your home or furniture. I tried to offer this ready lift system and they just forces it through while struggling. Glad I did not ask them to remove the same type of furniture. Still treated them kindly with drinks and treats as a good human should. I get it it’s not easy work. But Army training sir, needed Thanks for the rushed service that damaged my property. Purchasing furniture is a significant investment. Not only is it expensive, but it’s also something used daily, so it needs to last—and replacing it is not simple. We made several trips to this store after exploring multiple options online and in person. During our last visit, my wife was immediately singled out upon entering. One of the sales representatives made a comment in a negative tone to a colleague, saying she had been in the store before. Several other staff members also gave cold, disengaged, and unwelcoming attitudes. On a separate visit, my wife asked if she could browse independently, but a staff member followed her around the store, which made her uncomfortable. When she later returned for assistance, no one offered help, so she had to point out the rudeness before leaving. Regardless of whether a customer has visited before, businesses should value every person who enters their store with the intention to spend their hard-earned money. Unfortunately, this location failed to provide a welcoming environment, and it has lost our support entirely. 0/10 would recommend.

I ordered a sofa table at the store in person. The original price was lowered and the item was on sale for what I was told $20 off. I decided to purchase the piece and when I got home to look the item up I saw the sale price was actually $80 off. I called the store and asked them to adjust my purchase price to match the real sale price. The manager agreed to do that for me and said I will be emailed a receipt to verify. 2 days later and I still haven’t received verification that I was refunded for that correct amount. I am disappointed that I have now had to call to correct this error twice and no one from Ashley’s caught the mistake or followed through and fixed it for me. Very disappointed in their communication and customer service.

Lena was very helpful and delightful to work with. Explained everything so I would understand it and let me shop by myself to figure out what I needed vs what I wanted.

Couldn't be more disappointed with the customer service and communication with the Avon location and the Ashely customer service line. Never received a call to schedule a pick-up of our furniture at the distribution center. The generic call center "scheduled a pickup" but the furniture wasn't even at the pickup center and had never shipped from Illinois. Just spoke with a store manager and there were no apologies or assurances that my furniture is going to ship..."maybe the next couple of days." They are very friendly in the store and make it easy to spend your money, but the ball was completely dropped after that. Very disappointed with the service I have received and will never return.

If I could leave no stars I would. We have purchased from them several times over the years and always thought we would give them one more chance to do things right. They have no customer service inside the stores. You have to call 20 different numbers to get anywhere with them. The warranty is a joke. Deliveries never go as they should. I would advise no one ever buys furniture from this place. It is the absolute worst!!!!

The warranty is ridiculous and seemingly a scam, they advised warranty is only valid for electronic issues... I purchased a couch. Almost $5000 and several hundred to include the protection plan, my couch has a zipper that broke off, I can no longer remove the outer lining to clean it. If I wanted a replacement, out of pocket purchase is required

I received great service from Freddy. I liked the fact that he allowed me time to browse around the store before approaching me. He explained the features of furniture I purchased. He was very thorough in explaining the warranty and delivery process for the future. He was very polite and answered all the questions I had.

Upon walking into the store (a sea of furniture), we walked about browsing for the kind of recliner that I had spotted on the Ashley website. Finding that we had made it to the back of the store, alas, there was a display of multiple recliners; none of which matched the one I’d focused on. As no one had yet approached us to ask if they could be of assistance, I asked I there was someone who might. Fortunately, Jimmy German responded to that request. He was very polite and apologetic for our not being greeted. Upon seeing the product that I was looking for he immediately knew that he didn’t have one in the store. After trying several others we finally found a chair as comfortable as the chair we are replacing. He was very patient as we debated the cost, since this chair’s price exceeded what we had expected to pay. Jimmy was excellent as he politely addressed the typical topics (I.e. warranty, delivery, quality and features). When we left I felt that we had met a bright young man, who has applied himself to his work and become knowledgeable in various aspects of his business. The chair was ordered and we should be able to pick it up in the near future. My expectation high that future Ashley reviews will likewise positive.

Customer service was good. Not fund of the kiosk setting in the middle of the public having to enter my social security number. Plus I don't have alot of experience on kiosk. I had all kinds of questions. I just didn't like that part of the experience. I'm old school. I like to talk to a human.

Freddie was our salesman very helpful and personable. Edit: after reading fine print I'm pissed. Freddie had said if we bought the protection plan that if we did not use it we would get a check in full of the cost of the protection plan. It's not a check It's a coupon. So he lied to get a sale smh so dishonest Freddie! I didn't want the protection at first but he pushed for it and told my husband and I that they would send us a check. Hopefully my furniture isn't shit when it comes in!

I’ve only browsed through Ashley Furniture twice, and my experience both times was amazing! My mom and I went into the store yesterday just to measure the couch and loveseat, and she talked me into purchasing it right there on the spot because of how comfortable the furniture felt. Our salesman and the manager stayed with us throughout the entire buying experience to help answer our questions and to make sure we were leaving the store satisfied with our purchase. The entire staff was extremely friendly, and gave their opinions about the couch and loveseat I purchased as well as some other items I plan to purchase down the road. Thank you Ashley Furniture for making our experience so delightful! Update: I truly appreciate how honest my salesman was, but I’m very upset with my local Ashley Furniture store because the manager charged me $3,000.00 extra for furniture that I purchased. When I cancelled my furniture before delivery was scheduled, the store manager tried to charge me $810.00 cancellation fee, but dropped the fee when he talked me into a verbal contract where i agreed to re-purchase the furniture during their Black Friday sale. Plus, every time my salesman talked about his ambition to become a manager, the current manager acted like the salesman wouldn’t stay in the management position long because of how honest he is. After thinking about the verbal contract for a few days, I shopped around and I ended up purchasing the exact same furniture from Furniture Fair. When I told my salesman about my verbal contract with Ashley Furniture, salesman’s co-worker suggested that I call Ashley Furniture’s corporate office and talk to them about my verbal contract. When I explained my situation to the corporate office, they told me that Ashley Furniture stopped charging cancellation fees several years ago. They asked me to provide them with my store’s location and the manager’s name and I was reassured that the store manager would be reprimanded. Plus, once I finished my phone call with Ashley Furniture, my Furniture Fair salesman’s co-worker told me that while Ashley Furniture offered me 5 years/no interest, they’re really charging interest because they’re charging extra for the same furniture as other stores. I ended up purchasing the exact furniture at Furniture Fair that I found at Ashley Furniture for $3,000.00 less.

Received my delivery (Wednesday 7/16) and noticed that an item was damaged. I immediately called customer service and they issued me a replacement and said that it was in stock and they could schedule for it to be delivered on Friday 7/18. My wife took off work so that she could be home for the delivery. It never showed up. No call, no email, no text. I had to call that evening only to be told that the delivery was pushed back to Tuesday 7/22. So my wife lost 8 hours of PTO for nothing. Now (Saturday 7/19) I just received a text saying that the item will be back in stock 7/30 and I will have to wait until they have it back in stock to schedule a delivery date. Very poor customer service and communication. We will never purchase from Ashley again.

The salesman was pleasant enough and management swung around to check in. Prices were ok. Problem was that my elderly mother is in a wheelchair- the closest curb cut is NOT terribly close to the front door and navigating the store with a wheelchair is stupidly difficult. We went to other furniture stores that are very easy to navigate. When asked about both, the response was not apologetic in any way, even slightly argumentative. Ultimately the salesman charm when talking about products was not evening-out the challenges nor the non-apologetic tone.

I used my loyalty credit from five years ago and it was honored. Wish I could’ve used it on red dot items.

It was a great experience until I was charged for a protection plan that I specifically said I did not want. When the guy brought up the plan I said I didn’t want or to pay any extra fees. I was told it’s included in the “deal” at no extra cost. When I got my receipt I saw there wasn’t a deal. There was a charge for the table and chairs I ordered, then a separate charge of 199.99 for the protection plan. I asked the guy why it was added when I told him I didn’t want it. He said it’s automatically added. Anyways long story short the manager Chris refunded me the amount. Outside of that everyone was welcoming and attentive.

We were casually looking for recliners and Jimmy greeted us, pointed us in the right direction and then left us to browse. As he checked on us we were telling him a few things we were looking for/concerned about with the recliner design. He pointed out the model that we ended up buying two of. Very excited to get them and very happy to work with Jimmy. He was very helpful, answered all our questions gave us the exact price we would pay with everything included. Highly recommend.

The original sales guy that I worked with was awesome, but when I returned to purchase the furniture, he no longer worked at the Avon store. A new sales person (newly employed by Ashley) worked with me and was able to take my order with no issues. I felt like he did a very good job. His sales manager, who had to come over to check accuracy, was extremely unprofessional. He was condescending to both the salesman and myself, talked down to the salesman, dressed sloppy (holes in his ragged tennis shoes), and was very arrogant. I almost walked out on the sale due to the manager, but felt sorry for the sales guy being treated like that and decided not to punish the salesman by losing the sale due to the arrogance and unprofessionalism of his boss. The salesman did a great job, but the manager did not.

Quick service, they were very nice and picked up the trash and left everything as clean as it was when they came.

Was here not too long ago, great selection of recliners and sofas but I just cannot leave a good review after what I experienced. It would be a one star, but the sales staff were very good to me. The reason why I am making this review is because the salesperson I was working with was helping me out on a sofa I was interested in, but then their general manager Josh came up. He went into this weird medical pitch that clearly made both the salesperson and myself uncomfortable. He was insinuating I was unhealthy and going to die or something, and it definitely was not wanted nor does it fit the environment I would want when shopping for a couch. He was so high pressure it made me leave and buy elsewhere, and I doubt I'm the only one. Hope this review gets the attention from the people it needs.

★☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed We purchased a full living room suite from Ashley Furniture in Avon, and part of that purchase included a lamp that—over a month later—we still haven't received. What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of customer service. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, we haven’t received a single return phone call or email after multiple promises for the web chat and warehouse. For a large purchase like this, we expected far better communication and support. Extremely disappointed and unlikely to return. Thanks for the Ai response, in your reply to the original review, but we have tried that number several times and it is just the warehouse that promises they sent a ticket to the store and then we get nothing from the event. This is not only my first bad review I need to leave for a business, but my first time requesting help from a credit card company for non-delivery of a purchase. Do better Ashley. You have my info, you reach out to me.

I purchased the Claireah 3 Piece Sectional 90603S4 along with the ottoman. If you need advice, ask for CHANCE; he is very knowledgeable about furniture, including cushion quality, construction, and frame durability, as well as whether it has springs. These were aspects I wasn't well-versed in when I made my decision. Initially, I intended to take my business to Godby, but Chance's friendly demeanor and expertise convinced me to return to the store and buy from him.

Had a great experience. The salesman name was Chance. He seems very knowledgeable about the mattresses and answered all of my questions. We'll definitely return when needing something else.

Ashley furnature has a fairly good selection of recliners. The salesmen were helpful and as long as this piece of furnature is ready at the date promised,.I'll be satified.

After a bad experience at the Greenwood location, I decided to take my business to the Avon one and I'm so glad I did. Doug was great. Answered all my questions, didn't pressure me, didn't talk down to me because I was a woman in there by myself, honored the online sale price of the item I wanted, and got me in and out of the store pretty quickly. Left Greenwood feeling frustrated and unvalued. Left Avon super excited for my new reading chair to be delievered in less than a week.

I had a good experience at Ashley in Avon. I met a young lady named Ambar. She was great, I told her what I wanted and she was able to show me what they had. She helped me complete the sale.

Lots to choose from, also they dont always deliver on time, they didnt get my new mattress on time so they are delivering it one day before I go on vacation. I couldnt pick a delivery date for after I got back because, and I quote, if the mattress sits in their warehouse for 3 weeks someone will resell it to someone else and Ill have to wait another 2 or 3 weeks to get mine. This was after buying $6500 in furniture, Dont know if Ill buy from here again we will see.

Edited Review: Shopping in-store was great, but after delivery I found damage on one of the items. I reported it right away with photos and timestamps, but the store kept pushing back and never made it right. If you spot any damage, refuse the delivery, dealing with them afterward is a nightmare.

The experience started off good. Delivery was scheduled, took time off work and next thing I know, they are trying to reschedule. After making some phone calls I learned Ashley Furniture schedules delivery dates based on when the product is supposed to be delivered to them, not when they have the product in hand. They wanted to reschedule the delivery 2 weeks later. After getting upset they offered to refund me $100 and would not guarantee they would actually have the product for delivery on the rescheduled day. I don't know about most people but I can't afford to keep taking days off work in hopes the product will be delivered. What kind of business does this? Seriously, who schedules delivery dates for products they don't have in hand? I show up to the store to cancel my order to find out no one is willing to help. They claim the only thing they can do is sell stuff. The only thing this store honestly cares about is their conversion (how many people are buying vs walking in). They will do whatever and say whatever to get you to buy but the second you have an issue they want nothing to do with you. The only thing they will tell you is you need to call their customer service number. After calling, I spoke with three different people listening to kids crying, TV's and barking dogs (work at home associates) before I finally got someone who was willing to submit for a refund. I will never do business with this company again.

Walked the whole building, they were not busy. Not one associate acknowledged us. One employee was jamming to some music at a workstation. Another manager was walking around with balloons. We were there for around 15 to 20 minutes. We were checking out Bob's, Ashley's and Godby's. This was the worst location for customer service of the three. We ended up dropping 7k over at Bobs. For us they missed the mark and we were very disappointed.

Would not recommend looking for a new mattress here. "Sleep" salesmen were vultures, from the time you walk in to the time you walk out, somebody will be ranting about mattresses and the biology of sleep. Trying to put you in the most expensive, saying it's the best for your body type. Not letting you explore on your own. Ended up leaving with a headache and getting a mattress from a different store at a fraction of the price.

Avoid This Store – They Only Sell, They Don’t Help! I strongly advise against purchasing from the Ashley Furniture location in Avon, Indiana. This store is sales-only, meaning if you have any issues after your purchase, they will not help you. Instead, they’ll direct you to a corporate customer service number that is a complete runaround and a nightmare to deal with. We were very clear when placing our order that we wanted everything delivered in one shipment,. When the delivery arrived, the drivers unloaded a partial order without telling us in advance that key pieces were missing. After finding out, it was going to be almost 3 weeks for the remaining pieces, we no longer want the order. The store completely washed their hands of it, telling us they “just do sales” and that we had to deal with corporate. After a week of frustrating phone calls, corporate refused to accept a return, despite one of their own reps saying we had a case. Now we are stuck with furniture we didn’t receive in full, never agreed to take in pieces, and has been sitting untouched with the tags still on it. The assistant sales manager even admitted the situation was their fault, yet still, no resolution. Bottom line: This store will gladly take your money, but if anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. Buy elsewhere unless you’re okay with zero accountability.

My elderly father purchased several thousand dollars worth of furniture weeks ago due to moving into a senior living facility. He has yet to receive most of the furniture including his bed, couch, and recliner. He now has been told it will be another 3-4 weeks. Unbelievable that your store would allow this to happen. He needs more furniture but not from here!

When you request help for items you receive poor customer service. Everything is online or call into 800 numbers where your spending most of your time talking to AI They use a 3rd party to deliver furniture and they are not trained so it took a month to receive legs for my mattress. My son is a professional athlete and is able to receive incentives from Ashley, the time and money wasted with this company is not worth it. My son purchased the extended 5 yrs warranty plan and you still can be denied. You are showered with professionalism and kindness when walking through the door after you purchase that's it!. I will NEVER purchase another item from Ashley Furniture! Trust me when I say don't support. Im saving you money and a headache.

This place is an absolute JOKE! My wife and I ordered a $2,000 dining room table on black Friday. It was delivered to the wrong house, then it took an entire week after that to get any answer from the manager other than "I don't know" and "I've been busy"... SERIOUSLY?!?! Great customer service! We finally got it 2 weeks after the original delivery date. Absolutely the worst experience I've had buying anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This Ashley is under new management and we had an excellent experience compared to 5 years ago when we bought furniture there. I was very stressed about taking my 2 year old with me to a furniture store but the staff was all so helpful and kind and even offered me water and a place to sit which I appreciated as I am 8 months pregnant. I also didn’t feel pressured to buy anything or followed around the store which I feel happens at a lot of furniture stores. Overall a great experience.

We were met at the door by Ben, who did an awesome job! This negative review is not a reflection on him. He was very tentative and helpful! However, my wife and I were in there shopping for a new sectional last night (11/11/24) since we have a $749 credit from a previous purchased warranty that we were never able to use (that’s a different story), but we took a good hour and a half of Ben’s time finding the sectional that we wanted. We got it picked out, had our price confirmed only to be told by the manager, Jimmy, that we could not apply our credit towards the purchase of the sectional because it was at an “As Advertised Price” and we would have to purchase the sectional at the full price to be able to apply the “discount.” The $749 “discount” that I have was money that I had given Ashley Furniture 5 years ago in the event I would need a warranty on my previously purchased living room set (which broke less than 6 months after purchasing). It wasn’t some promotional thing they gave me. It was my hard earned money that I gave them. I never used the warranty and they’re saying I can’t use my credit on something I picked out in the store unless I pay their full price. They are thieves! I regret furnishing two of my houses with their furniture. Never again will myself nor anyone I know ever come back to this joke of a place. Terrible business practice! Go to Godby! That’s where I will be taking by business!

Going on 4 months now and we still don’t have a complete bed. Almost thought we got there until the frame came with the wrong parts. Now we’ve been waiting another three weeks for a very common part. Not worth the hassle. Edit: I did actually try reaching them several times and they just hang up – even on their website's chat feature. Once they have your money they do not care. We never even received all the things we ordered.

i purchased a living room outfit and the couch was too long to fit thru my front door and so i had to order a left and right arm chaise well i was told the price would be adjusted and it never was ..then when i called them to ask about why it wasnt changed i was told that they didnt have to change any thing lets see 800 for a couch and the chaise was going for around 499 my price was never adjusted and now im tryin to get the money back that i paid for the warranty that i never used since i was also told that when i paid off the furniture ifi didnt use the warranty that the money would be refunded back to me well i just paid off the over priced furniture and lets see if i get my warranty money back ..im thinking NOT GONNA HAPPEN ashley furniture is the biggest ripoff place to get furniture from I WILL NVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE AGAIN NOR WILL I REFER ANY OF MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO THEM ...how is it ashley will respond to the positive comments but not the negative ones cmon respond to them all customer is always right also the guys that delivered my furniture were like for an extra 50 bucks for each of them they would lift the couch up on to my deck im like get out if here with that noise i went and complained to ashley and they were like really and that was all that was said to me bout that it took them 3 months to get me the other chaise but do you think that they would offer me any kind of compensation hell no ive beent to the store multiple times and nothing has ever come of the visits so if they read this they should really refund me at least 3 months of my payment money and my warranty money that i paid almost 500 $ for 9/25/24 4:06 pm thats funny i was messaging a operator from ashley and they were like we dont give refunds you will get the money back from the warranty in the form of a gift card i dont want no gift card i want my money i was told i would get and the operators told me i had to take this matter up wit the store i got the furniture from i just want my money back since i over paid like 3 months and my contract was never fixed to show the proper furniture that was delivered

Delivery service is TERRIBLE!!! Our king bed frame was missing 2 pieces that were to be delivered and then we found out that it was actually missing 4 pieces and 2 of those aren't manufactured any longer. Our queen bed is also missing 2 pieces to which nobody seems to know where they are. Our delivery date has been pushed back 3 times all for us to still not have what we need. You can't call the store as noone answers. It takes you to an automated system to try and help. We will be driving to the store to remedy this. Do yourself a favor and purchase your furniture elsewhere.

My husband and I were shopping for recliner that would meet specifics that we want. The sales professional (James German) showed us the recliner that met all of our wants. Jimmy was able to show us how durable and comfortable the recliner is in addition to being on sale with an offer for a protection plan. Sales person straight lied to us about their exchange policy. We visited the Avon store twice and talked to the same sales person as we were looking to furnish a 1800sf basement that was just remodeled. I asked if they had the software to place the furniture in rooms. The sales person said no, but we are working on it. OK was my response. And I am not sure if the brown or gray would look better or if it is the right size. Sales person replied that if it does not fit or color is wrong we will take it back and you can apply the price to another piece. OK. Cool. Come to find out the couch would not fit down the stairs. Contacted the sales person to let him know it would not fit. He informed me that all sales are final an I needed to contact corporate. I don't want a refund. I just want a couch that will fit. Corporte says no exchange. Store manager says no exchange. Now I'm stuck with two couchs still wrapped up. Buyers be ware if it is not in writing, they will not honor their word. A week later I'm still waiting for the refund of the rest of my order that was not picked up.

I am giving Ashley Furniture no stars, but am required to give them at least one for this post, with the experience my husband and I recently had with them. We had been looking for a couch to do in our basement and had done our due diligence with looking at approximately eleven stores in Indianapolis. We settled, finally, on two couches from Ashley Furniture due to their price matching of another store we found the same couch and the employee informing us that we could change the color or couch if once we got it into the space; it didn’t work. We picked up our order due to not needing delivery. Once we got home, we realized that we were unable to angle the couch correctly to get it down the stairs even though it would fit through the doorway and in our basement. We contacted Ashley to see if we could exchange the couches as we were unable to use them due to this challenge and as the employee informed us. My husband was not given a direct answer by anyone and then finally reached corporate to be told that they could not help us and we were stuck with two couches we could not use. I then reached out to them with the same experience. It was frustrating to be told one thing repeatedly in their store with no compassion or solution to help us, even though, if we would have paid for delivery they would have let us. The experience we had was that this was a family owned business who wants people to be happy and confident with their purchases, but this is not what we got. I strongly encourage you to utilize a different furniture provider; one where their services matches their word. This is in response to Ashley Furniture’s response: I have contacted the numbers provided prior to this review to explain the situation and have assistance in us being able to utilize couches we purchased. However, my husband was informed by corporate that all sales were final, which is opposite of what the employee informed us, and there was nothing they could or would do. I also contacted Ashley through the online chat system and received the same feedback that there was nothing that could be done. So, I will not be contacting you again with the same result.

It was wonderful to go see contemporary pieces that aren’t bland like in Fort Wayne Ashley! You guys restored my faith in Ashley! I also had a very funny salesman who I was very happy with as well!

Ordered love seat and sofa. Was charged 250.00!for delivery and was pushed back several times from 11 am arrival until 6 pm. When arrived sofa was damaged sent back and never heared about a replacement until I emailed they said new couch delivery would be on Aug 14th. A few minutes later they rescheduled that day in us to Aug 20! Horrible service and had disrupted our appointments and missed a daughter's surprise bday party. Unbelievable. Naughty a lot in the last from Ashley but not again. Looking at other reviews made my decision as this is not a one off

The shopping experience was great, the delivery and setup ended up being a nightmare. The couch and bedroom suite was delivered on 7/23 and ended up not having the correct slats. Box stated full but slats were for queen bed. The driver had the correct size shipped but no hardware was sent. I had to call customer service and they ordered the hardware, this was now August 1st and bed is still not setup. I notified I had received the hardware and they told me they scheduled setup for 8/6. I call on 8/5 and was told it was never scheduled. The customer service person said she could schedule for 8/13. They only service my area on Tuesdays. Customer service was not helpful in the least and the service overall is TERRIBLE!! I would probably have been happy if they would have at least offered me some compensation for all the delays and inconvenience that they have caused. I also had to instruct them on how to put the feet of my couch on. They acted like they had never done them before. What a disappointment, I will not be recommending Ashley to my friends and family. In response to Ashley, I have called and text both of the numbers you provided and they were of no help!! Ashley needs to contact me and make sure this gets resolved. They don’t seem to be able to expedite a service call to correct the problem. Customer care should be more flexible to insure customer issues that have gone on way to long are taken care of immediately!!

I hate being followed around the store and being asked a million questions when I just want to look. I did find a couch I liked and the process of financing and ordering the couch was easy. Was also able to change my order later that day pain free when I texted Malik.

I had to update my last review from June 11th , I am very disappointed In Ashley's "white glive " delivery My Mom kitchen table set was supposed to be delivered on June 25th but was delivered on July 3rd Now, here's the problem not only was the table delivered late, but it came without the base 🙄 my mother had out of town guess coming with nowhere to sit, she got rid of her old table set she contacted the store and spoke to Freddie, the salesperson who helped her with her purchase he stated he would get back with her about this issue but NEVER did I see now he only cared about making a sale and getting his commission on top of that the delivery driver stated he does NOT know when the base will be in and someone would "call" her when it is in , I would expect something like this from V.C.F but NOT Ashley's.

Specialist approached but we’re not pushy. Doug was very helpful and patient with all my questions and indecisiveness.

Freddie was the best ever. We talked with him a few times. Finally made a choice and was happy Freddie could finish the deal. We are a repeat customer. Love the product.

My experience with Ashley has been horrible, the 2 pieces of furniture I did receive of the large order in May have already broken and needed repair. Then their repair procedure is a nightmare and completely a burden for the customer who had nothing to do with their defective product! Then they supposedly opened service cases with a technician to repair the broken pieces 3 times, nothing happens, then I am expected to constantly call to see the status of my repair case only to find out they are canceled! I have been told that pieces of my order are in stock and then they are not delivered! I’m done with Ashley!

Went in the store location Avon on 36 and none of the store representatives greeted us and we felt ignored. Very rude and unprofessional.

The experience I received from Chris and Malik was beyond professional and helpful. They did not stop until I was comfortable with the choices I was picking and was knowledgeable about the product's benefits and possible problems. These two gentlemen also made sure I understood the financing process. Overall it was a great experience, one I would definitely do again.

Freddy was amazing and was very very knowledgeable in our furniture buying experience. Every questions we asked him he was able to answer and showed us why we should consider the peices we did. We will definitely be back to purchase our sleep number bed when we have the cash to do so.

Purchased a dining room set that included 4 chairs, a bench, and the table in early February. The set was delivered “white glove” on February 28. Two gentlemen put the pieces together, said they were done, and left my home. I immediately noticed multiple areas of damage on the table top, 3 chairs, and 1 leg of the bench. I called the guest service number that same day and emailed photos at their request. I was told the parts for replacing the chair backs and bench would be ordered and delivered to my home but the table top would need to be assessed for repair before replacing. I argued that I ordered a brand new table that cost $1400+ and I would not accept a damaged repaired table. My concerns were not heard and a service man was scheduled to assess the table and came on March 11. The chair backs were supposed to be fixed at that time but he didn’t repair or fix anything. The chair backs were ready for replacement but the bench leg that was sent was not the correct part. He submitted paperwork and told us the table would be replaced. I waited a couple of weeks without hearing anything on the status of replacement. When I called the service number and Avon, IN store (where I purchased the table) no one knew a thing about the issues. So basically I was still at square one with nothing done to repair or replace the damages. I would receive AI generated messages almost daily from Ashley furniture that would only cause me more frustration. I would call weekly to the customer service number and the Avon store for assistance and was told a “escalation ticket” was placed. Never heard any follow up from the manager Tom or assistant manager Chris after I was assured they would give me follow up. During one phone call to customer service they offered me $100 to “just keep the table” and forget the damage. Just beyond ridiculous. After my weekly call to customer service in early May my concerns were finally put through to an escalation person who called me back, I sent all the photos of the damaged table again (because there were zero records of my previous contact attempts). And they sent a new table on May 16, 3 months after I received my original order. The way Ashley Furniture Avon, IN store and customer service line handles their business is disappointing and extremely frustrating to work with. Not to mention the waste the company spends on shipping multiple wrong parts and terrible lines of communication.

Purchased over $4,000 worth of furniture. Furniture needed a repair. Called the day of delivery about the cabinet door needing fixed or for them to replace the unit. They scheduled repair service for their earliest time which would be in 2 months from the time of delivery. On the day of the scheduled repair, the repair person completed first stop and we were the second stop. Time said he would arrive at our house at 10:42am, but he kept upping his time every 15-20 min. During this time, I realized his location was at a golf course. This was not his first stop location. Initially, I thought well maybe he stopped for lunch. But after two hours at the golf course, let’s be real…. he was golfing, not eating. Time finally upped to 12:45pm, which was 15min outside of my window, before I called customer service. Called customer service to no satisfactory solution. Had to cancel my appointment due to needing to go to work to prepare for an event. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Attached is the picture were the repairman was for over two hours after he completed his first stop. I was stop number 2. I called customer service and basically they could care less. Only stated that if I couldn’t stay and wait for the technician, I could reschedule for another day. At this point who knew when the technician was going to show up and I had already been waiting from my scheduled window of 9:30-12:30. They have no regard for their customers’ time, said they didn’t have a way to contact the repair technician, and when asked to speak to someone regarding my experience, that there was no one to talk to, that they would send an email to their 3rd party vendor. Maybe customer service should be handled at the local level and not outsourced. Local store said that this seems to be a common problem with corporate. All repairs and deliveries are not completed by Ashley and are done by a third party vendor. Wish I would have taken the first screen shot from 9:30am that had his location in a different spot and said the initial estimated time of arrival. And the following updates that showed him arriving to the golf course.

When we go into a store to shop and we are going to need help to find an item we’re looking for we like our presence to be acknowledged and someone to offer assistance. When we walked into the Ashley furniture near Avon, Stephanie immediately acknowledged us and ask how she could be of assistance. She took us to what we were looking for and describe the options. There was no high-pressure sales method only interest in our needs. She gave us plenty of time to make a decision about the items we were interested in. We finished the transaction by phone and online. It was good experience.

I enjoyed shopping at Ashley in Avon. I was able to browse freely in the well stocked showroom without pressure to purchase. Salesman Doug asked if I needed assistance, just let him know. I sat on several couches and found one I loved! It is made very well and will last for along time. The price was lower than competitive stores I had shopped in previously. I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought two couches and a chair on February 27th told it would come March 27th for delivery. Got a confirmation text 5 days before only to find out that that chair came in only. Told it would come April 30th, conformation text came April 25th only to get a call our order is not in..asked for delivery of at least the chair, now told it did not come in. So they lie and now chair is also on back order..advise not going to Avon Ashley furniture...if I could rate them zero I would!

The customer service was welcoming and supportive. I wasn't satisfied being how long it will take for me to receive my purchase and how expensive is delivery cost.

Great quality and help

I ordered a dining table and six chairs for “white glove delivery” for an extra $200 fee and the delivery was two hours late from the delivery window. After waiting all day for the delivery, the table top and three chairs were damaged. I had to wait another week for the table and other three chairs to be delivered which this table top and one chair were still damaged. I called customer service that same day and submitted photos of the damage. They told me someone would call the following day. I never got a call, so called back the next afternoon. I had to resend the photos and this customer service agent stated since the furniture was accepted, the only thing they would do is send a tech out to try and fix the damage. There is no reason why brand new furniture should be damaged and there is no other solution offered. This is the worst furniture delivery experience I have ever had and will NOT be getting any other furniture from Ashley. I just want a new table that is new and undamaged. It shouldn’t be that hard and I shouldn’t have to take off work every time they want to try and deliver a new table that maybe will not be damaged. Terrible and unacceptable service. Update: Ashely said they had to send a tech out to repair it, and the tech agreed it is not repairable. The tech put in the report and submitted photos; 5 days and never heard anything from Ashely. I called customer service, they said I had to use the online portal to make a claim. They online portal offered me $64 gift card or $42 in refund. I called customer service again and said that’s not acceptable, that I want the table I ordered undamaged. They finally put in for an exchange for the table top, no update on the damaged chair.

We have been on a 6 month journey to buy a couch. It didn’t take us this long to buy a car! We ended up purchasing from Ashley because we found the style we were looking for and there was little wait time to receive it. Our experience in the store was Great! Not the best customer service, was told I would be given a military discount until I got to the check out and she said, Oh I can't give you that and this deal. Also, they sold me the wrong couch and loveseat. I was supposed to have leather, I mentioned this numerous times in the store and what arrived this weekend was this soft polyester couch, they I am disgusted with. Do not go to Ashley Furniture. Over priced furniture! Spent over $2,000 on a couch and love seat that is now going to collect all the dog hair, stains, and smells, just wonderful! Thanks Ashley!

She noticed I was undecided and asked do I need time to decide. Stephanie welcomed us to get her if we need additional assistance. We appreciated all of that because we did not feel rushed on a decision. Stephanie has patience and never changed her expression while we were undecided. She went above and beyond to service our family.

The 0% for 60 months is what brought me back after a previous bad experience. They delivered my furniture in a decent time frame but communication was poor. My entertainment center came with no knobs and they didn't have my daughters bed on the truck. They said someone would follow up about the knobs and her bed. That was 4 days ago with still no communication. It's unfortunate they offer a great product and great financing options but can't follow through once they take your money. I spent almost $10,000 you'd think I'd be worth a phone call.

Im disappointed that the sofa I purchased wasn't like the one in the store. It's been several months of replacing cushions or the sofa support band. I was sent a replacement sofa but it had the same problem as the one I purchased. Then I learn Ashley doesn't offer refunds. Waiting on them to offer me an alternative solution.

Chance was very good with all my needs and had very good customer service. It was challenging for them because there were only 3 working but they all pulled together and did excellent. Thank you Chance if I need anything else I will definitely come see you.

Ordered living room furniture on black Friday. Delivery has now been delayed twice and I have no furniture for Christmas. Canceling my order if no resolution by today. Absolutely the worst!!
