Sales rep wasn’t thorough. It was short. Asked many questions about the product. Short answer. Rep was ready to make the sale but not earn the sale. Product we wanted they no longer have. Very disappointed experience. We did place an order but it felt wrong, bad decision. Canceled the order.

Wonderful experience, Dirk was very professional and patient while I was deciding on the best couch for my home. He was very helpful and kind. It's much better than the Castleton store, which only cares about sales.

This place is an absolute JOKE! My wife and I ordered a $2,000 dining room table on black Friday. It was delivered to the wrong house, then it took an entire week after that to get any answer from the manager other than "I don't know" and "I've been busy"... SERIOUSLY?!?! Great customer service! We finally got it 2 weeks after the original delivery date. Absolutely the worst experience I've had buying anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I've worked with Jimmy multiple times, and have left happy every time! He goes above and beyond every time, going as far as giving his customers a direct line to him! He's given me the best price possible, and he made sure I got my items as soon as possible, and was honest before my purchase when they weren't immediately available. Went sofa/sectional shopping. Many sofas look used; seat cushions not holding up, loose material on seats. Difficult to maneuver around. Staff pleasant!

Really liked the quality of the furniture in the store. Great customer service from Doug, not pushy and explained things well. They do greet you immediately which is kind of annoying when multiple people are like walking to you but overall a great experience.

This Ashley is under new management and we had an excellent experience compared to 5 years ago when we bought furniture there. I was very stressed about taking my 2 year old with me to a furniture store but the staff was all so helpful and kind and even offered me water and a place to sit which I appreciated as I am 8 months pregnant. I also didn’t feel pressured to buy anything or followed around the store which I feel happens at a lot of furniture stores. Overall a great experience.

We were met at the door by Ben, who did an awesome job! This negative review is not a reflection on him. He was very tentative and helpful! However, my wife and I were in there shopping for a new sectional last night (11/11/24) since we have a $749 credit from a previous purchased warranty that we were never able to use (that’s a different story), but we took a good hour and a half of Ben’s time finding the sectional that we wanted. We got it picked out, had our price confirmed only to be told by the manager, Jimmy, that we could not apply our credit towards the purchase of the sectional because it was at an “As Advertised Price” and we would have to purchase the sectional at the full price to be able to apply the “discount.” The $749 “discount” that I have was money that I had given Ashley Furniture 5 years ago in the event I would need a warranty on my previously purchased living room set (which broke less than 6 months after purchasing). It wasn’t some promotional thing they gave me. It was my hard earned money that I gave them. I never used the warranty and they’re saying I can’t use my credit on something I picked out in the store unless I pay their full price. They are thieves! I regret furnishing two of my houses with their furniture. Never again will myself nor anyone I know ever come back to this joke of a place. Terrible business practice! Go to Godby! That’s where I will be taking by business!

Worse over$10,000.00 I could’ve spent ! They lie about delivery dates, plus! I’ve got fiurniture that is still not put together all over my floor but as of today they haven’t ordered the screws to put it together ! Plus so much more is wrong. Calling BBB now!

We came in looking for a reclining sectional. They were patient with us and gave us our space. We looked at other furniture stores but eventually came back to Ashley to purchase.

Going on 4 months now and we still don’t have a complete bed. Almost thought we got there until the frame came with the wrong parts. Now we’ve been waiting another three weeks for a very common part. Not worth the hassle. Edit: I did actually try reaching them several times and they just hang up – even on their website's chat feature. Once they have your money they do not care. We never even received all the things we ordered.

i purchased a living room outfit and the couch was too long to fit thru my front door and so i had to order a left and right arm chaise well i was told the price would be adjusted and it never was ..then when i called them to ask about why it wasnt changed i was told that they didnt have to change any thing lets see 800 for a couch and the chaise was going for around 499 my price was never adjusted and now im tryin to get the money back that i paid for the warranty that i never used since i was also told that when i paid off the furniture ifi didnt use the warranty that the money would be refunded back to me well i just paid off the over priced furniture and lets see if i get my warranty money back ..im thinking NOT GONNA HAPPEN ashley furniture is the biggest ripoff place to get furniture from I WILL NVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE AGAIN NOR WILL I REFER ANY OF MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO THEM ...how is it ashley will respond to the positive comments but not the negative ones cmon respond to them all customer is always right also the guys that delivered my furniture were like for an extra 50 bucks for each of them they would lift the couch up on to my deck im like get out if here with that noise i went and complained to ashley and they were like really and that was all that was said to me bout that it took them 3 months to get me the other chaise but do you think that they would offer me any kind of compensation hell no ive beent to the store multiple times and nothing has ever come of the visits so if they read this they should really refund me at least 3 months of my payment money and my warranty money that i paid almost 500 $ for 9/25/24 4:06 pm thats funny i was messaging a operator from ashley and they were like we dont give refunds you will get the money back from the warranty in the form of a gift card i dont want no gift card i want my money i was told i would get and the operators told me i had to take this matter up wit the store i got the furniture from i just want my money back since i over paid like 3 months and my contract was never fixed to show the proper furniture that was delivered

Delivery service is TERRIBLE!!! Our king bed frame was missing 2 pieces that were to be delivered and then we found out that it was actually missing 4 pieces and 2 of those aren't manufactured any longer. Our queen bed is also missing 2 pieces to which nobody seems to know where they are. Our delivery date has been pushed back 3 times all for us to still not have what we need. You can't call the store as noone answers. It takes you to an automated system to try and help. We will be driving to the store to remedy this. Do yourself a favor and purchase your furniture elsewhere.

My husband and I were shopping for recliner that would meet specifics that we want. The sales professional (James German) showed us the recliner that met all of our wants. Jimmy was able to show us how durable and comfortable the recliner is in addition to being on sale with an offer for a protection plan. I highly commend the service provided during the sake and believe that I can get help and/or answers if needed be. I really looking forward to getting my new recliner!

Great service. No pressure nice variety.

Sales person straight lied to us about their exchange policy. We visited the Avon store twice and talked to the same sales person as we were looking to furnish a 1800sf basement that was just remodeled. I asked if they had the software to place the furniture in rooms. The sales person said no, but we are working on it. OK was my response. And I am not sure if the brown or gray would look better or if it is the right size. Sales person replied that if it does not fit or color is wrong we will take it back and you can apply the price to another piece. OK. Cool. Come to find out the couch would not fit down the stairs. Contacted the sales person to let him know it would not fit. He informed me that all sales are final an I needed to contact corporate. I don't want a refund. I just want a couch that will fit. Corporte says no exchange. Store manager says no exchange. Now I'm stuck with two couchs still wrapped up. Buyers be ware if it is not in writing, they will not honor their word. A week later I'm still waiting for the refund of the rest of my order that was not picked up.

I am giving Ashley Furniture no stars, but am required to give them at least one for this post, with the experience my husband and I recently had with them. We had been looking for a couch to do in our basement and had done our due diligence with looking at approximately eleven stores in Indianapolis. We settled, finally, on two couches from Ashley Furniture due to their price matching of another store we found the same couch and the employee informing us that we could change the color or couch if once we got it into the space; it didn’t work. We picked up our order due to not needing delivery. Once we got home, we realized that we were unable to angle the couch correctly to get it down the stairs even though it would fit through the doorway and in our basement. We contacted Ashley to see if we could exchange the couches as we were unable to use them due to this challenge and as the employee informed us. My husband was not given a direct answer by anyone and then finally reached corporate to be told that they could not help us and we were stuck with two couches we could not use. I then reached out to them with the same experience. It was frustrating to be told one thing repeatedly in their store with no compassion or solution to help us, even though, if we would have paid for delivery they would have let us. The experience we had was that this was a family owned business who wants people to be happy and confident with their purchases, but this is not what we got. I strongly encourage you to utilize a different furniture provider; one where their services matches their word. This is in response to Ashley Furniture’s response: I have contacted the numbers provided prior to this review to explain the situation and have assistance in us being able to utilize couches we purchased. However, my husband was informed by corporate that all sales were final, which is opposite of what the employee informed us, and there was nothing they could or would do. I also contacted Ashley through the online chat system and received the same feedback that there was nothing that could be done. So, I will not be contacting you again with the same result.

Ordered love seat and sofa. Was charged 250.00!for delivery and was pushed back several times from 11 am arrival until 6 pm. When arrived sofa was damaged sent back and never heared about a replacement until I emailed they said new couch delivery would be on Aug 14th. A few minutes later they rescheduled that day in us to Aug 20! Horrible service and had disrupted our appointments and missed a daughter's surprise bday party. Unbelievable. Naughty a lot in the last from Ashley but not again. Looking at other reviews made my decision as this is not a one off

The shopping experience was great, the delivery and setup ended up being a nightmare. The couch and bedroom suite was delivered on 7/23 and ended up not having the correct slats. Box stated full but slats were for queen bed. The driver had the correct size shipped but no hardware was sent. I had to call customer service and they ordered the hardware, this was now August 1st and bed is still not setup. I notified I had received the hardware and they told me they scheduled setup for 8/6. I call on 8/5 and was told it was never scheduled. The customer service person said she could schedule for 8/13. They only service my area on Tuesdays. Customer service was not helpful in the least and the service overall is TERRIBLE!! I would probably have been happy if they would have at least offered me some compensation for all the delays and inconvenience that they have caused. I also had to instruct them on how to put the feet of my couch on. They acted like they had never done them before. What a disappointment, I will not be recommending Ashley to my friends and family. In response to Ashley, I have called and text both of the numbers you provided and they were of no help!! Ashley needs to contact me and make sure this gets resolved. They don’t seem to be able to expedite a service call to correct the problem. Customer care should be more flexible to insure customer issues that have gone on way to long are taken care of immediately!!

I hate being followed around the store and being asked a million questions when I just want to look. I did find a couch I liked and the process of financing and ordering the couch was easy. Was also able to change my order later that day pain free when I texted Malik.

I had to update my last review from June 11th , I am very disappointed In Ashley's "white glive " delivery My Mom kitchen table set was supposed to be delivered on June 25th but was delivered on July 3rd Now, here's the problem not only was the table delivered late, but it came without the base 🙄 my mother had out of town guess coming with nowhere to sit, she got rid of her old table set she contacted the store and spoke to Freddie, the salesperson who helped her with her purchase he stated he would get back with her about this issue but NEVER did I see now he only cared about making a sale and getting his commission on top of that the delivery driver stated he does NOT know when the base will be in and someone would "call" her when it is in , I would expect something like this from V.C.F but NOT Ashley's.

Specialist approached but we’re not pushy. Doug was very helpful and patient with all my questions and indecisiveness.

Freddie was the best ever. We talked with him a few times. Finally made a choice and was happy Freddie could finish the deal. We are a repeat customer. Love the product.

My experience with Ashley has been horrible, the 2 pieces of furniture I did receive of the large order in May have already broken and needed repair. Then their repair procedure is a nightmare and completely a burden for the customer who had nothing to do with their defective product! Then they supposedly opened service cases with a technician to repair the broken pieces 3 times, nothing happens, then I am expected to constantly call to see the status of my repair case only to find out they are canceled! I have been told that pieces of my order are in stock and then they are not delivered! I’m done with Ashley!

Went in the store location Avon on 36 and none of the store representatives greeted us and we felt ignored. Very rude and unprofessional.

The experience I received from Chris and Malik was beyond professional and helpful. They did not stop until I was comfortable with the choices I was picking and was knowledgeable about the product's benefits and possible problems. These two gentlemen also made sure I understood the financing process. Overall it was a great experience, one I would definitely do again.

Freddy was amazing and was very very knowledgeable in our furniture buying experience. Every questions we asked him he was able to answer and showed us why we should consider the peices we did. We will definitely be back to purchase our sleep number bed when we have the cash to do so.

Purchased a dining room set that included 4 chairs, a bench, and the table in early February. The set was delivered “white glove” on February 28. Two gentlemen put the pieces together, said they were done, and left my home. I immediately noticed multiple areas of damage on the table top, 3 chairs, and 1 leg of the bench. I called the guest service number that same day and emailed photos at their request. I was told the parts for replacing the chair backs and bench would be ordered and delivered to my home but the table top would need to be assessed for repair before replacing. I argued that I ordered a brand new table that cost $1400+ and I would not accept a damaged repaired table. My concerns were not heard and a service man was scheduled to assess the table and came on March 11. The chair backs were supposed to be fixed at that time but he didn’t repair or fix anything. The chair backs were ready for replacement but the bench leg that was sent was not the correct part. He submitted paperwork and told us the table would be replaced. I waited a couple of weeks without hearing anything on the status of replacement. When I called the service number and Avon, IN store (where I purchased the table) no one knew a thing about the issues. So basically I was still at square one with nothing done to repair or replace the damages. I would receive AI generated messages almost daily from Ashley furniture that would only cause me more frustration. I would call weekly to the customer service number and the Avon store for assistance and was told a “escalation ticket” was placed. Never heard any follow up from the manager Tom or assistant manager Chris after I was assured they would give me follow up. During one phone call to customer service they offered me $100 to “just keep the table” and forget the damage. Just beyond ridiculous. After my weekly call to customer service in early May my concerns were finally put through to an escalation person who called me back, I sent all the photos of the damaged table again (because there were zero records of my previous contact attempts). And they sent a new table on May 16, 3 months after I received my original order. The way Ashley Furniture Avon, IN store and customer service line handles their business is disappointing and extremely frustrating to work with. Not to mention the waste the company spends on shipping multiple wrong parts and terrible lines of communication.

Purchased over $4,000 worth of furniture. Furniture needed a repair. Called the day of delivery about the cabinet door needing fixed or for them to replace the unit. They scheduled repair service for their earliest time which would be in 2 months from the time of delivery. On the day of the scheduled repair, the repair person completed first stop and we were the second stop. Time said he would arrive at our house at 10:42am, but he kept upping his time every 15-20 min. During this time, I realized his location was at a golf course. This was not his first stop location. Initially, I thought well maybe he stopped for lunch. But after two hours at the golf course, let’s be real…. he was golfing, not eating. Time finally upped to 12:45pm, which was 15min outside of my window, before I called customer service. Called customer service to no satisfactory solution. Had to cancel my appointment due to needing to go to work to prepare for an event. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Attached is the picture were the repairman was for over two hours after he completed his first stop. I was stop number 2. I called customer service and basically they could care less. Only stated that if I couldn’t stay and wait for the technician, I could reschedule for another day. At this point who knew when the technician was going to show up and I had already been waiting from my scheduled window of 9:30-12:30. They have no regard for their customers’ time, said they didn’t have a way to contact the repair technician, and when asked to speak to someone regarding my experience, that there was no one to talk to, that they would send an email to their 3rd party vendor. Maybe customer service should be handled at the local level and not outsourced. Local store said that this seems to be a common problem with corporate. All repairs and deliveries are not completed by Ashley and are done by a third party vendor. Wish I would have taken the first screen shot from 9:30am that had his location in a different spot and said the initial estimated time of arrival. And the following updates that showed him arriving to the golf course.

When we go into a store to shop and we are going to need help to find an item we’re looking for we like our presence to be acknowledged and someone to offer assistance. When we walked into the Ashley furniture near Avon, Stephanie immediately acknowledged us and ask how she could be of assistance. She took us to what we were looking for and describe the options. There was no high-pressure sales method only interest in our needs. She gave us plenty of time to make a decision about the items we were interested in. We finished the transaction by phone and online. It was good experience.

I enjoyed shopping at Ashley in Avon. I was able to browse freely in the well stocked showroom without pressure to purchase. Salesman Doug asked if I needed assistance, just let him know. I sat on several couches and found one I loved! It is made very well and will last for along time. The price was lower than competitive stores I had shopped in previously. I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought two couches and a chair on February 27th told it would come March 27th for delivery. Got a confirmation text 5 days before only to find out that that chair came in only. Told it would come April 30th, conformation text came April 25th only to get a call our order is not in..asked for delivery of at least the chair, now told it did not come in. So they lie and now chair is also on back order..advise not going to Avon Ashley furniture...if I could rate them zero I would!

Great quality and help

I ordered a dining table and six chairs for “white glove delivery” for an extra $200 fee and the delivery was two hours late from the delivery window. After waiting all day for the delivery, the table top and three chairs were damaged. I had to wait another week for the table and other three chairs to be delivered which this table top and one chair were still damaged. I called customer service that same day and submitted photos of the damage. They told me someone would call the following day. I never got a call, so called back the next afternoon. I had to resend the photos and this customer service agent stated since the furniture was accepted, the only thing they would do is send a tech out to try and fix the damage. There is no reason why brand new furniture should be damaged and there is no other solution offered. This is the worst furniture delivery experience I have ever had and will NOT be getting any other furniture from Ashley. I just want a new table that is new and undamaged. It shouldn’t be that hard and I shouldn’t have to take off work every time they want to try and deliver a new table that maybe will not be damaged. Terrible and unacceptable service. Update: Ashely said they had to send a tech out to repair it, and the tech agreed it is not repairable. The tech put in the report and submitted photos; 5 days and never heard anything from Ashely. I called customer service, they said I had to use the online portal to make a claim. They online portal offered me $64 gift card or $42 in refund. I called customer service again and said that’s not acceptable, that I want the table I ordered undamaged. They finally put in for an exchange for the table top, no update on the damaged chair.

Also, they sold me the wrong couch and loveseat. I was supposed to have leather, I mentioned this numerous times in the store and what arrived this weekend was this soft polyester couch, they I am disgusted with. Do not go to Ashley Furniture. Over priced furniture! Spent over $2,000 on a couch and love seat that is now going to collect all the dog hair, stains, and smells, just wonderful! Thanks Ashley!

The 0% for 60 months is what brought me back after a previous bad experience. They delivered my furniture in a decent time frame but communication was poor. My entertainment center came with no knobs and they didn't have my daughters bed on the truck. They said someone would follow up about the knobs and her bed. That was 4 days ago with still no communication. It's unfortunate they offer a great product and great financing options but can't follow through once they take your money. I spent almost $10,000 you'd think I'd be worth a phone call.

Im disappointed that the sofa I purchased wasn't like the one in the store. It's been several months of replacing cushions or the sofa support band. I was sent a replacement sofa but it had the same problem as the one I purchased. Then I learn Ashley doesn't offer refunds. Waiting on them to offer me an alternative solution.

Chance was very good with all my needs and had very good customer service. It was challenging for them because there were only 3 working but they all pulled together and did excellent. Thank you Chance if I need anything else I will definitely come see you.

Ashley furniture was amazing! We bought our furniture in June thinking our closing on our home was July 5. That didn’t happen. We actually just moved into our home Dec 16th. They held onto our sale patiently for us. When it was time for it to be delivered they sent two of the nicest delivery guys. Great job Ashley furniture!!!!

The people at Ashley were nice, but talked us into an extended warranty. We payed for the 5 year warranty, and 2 years after purchase our teens bed broke while laying on it. The mattress fell right through. Not covered. My son’s dresser is off track and the drawers don’t line up. Not covered. Crack in dresser side. Not covered. Don’t pay for the warranty they cover nothing!

This purchase was bad from the start. Sales person was new. I purchased a mattress and bedroom set, spent over 5000 dollars. Purchased a mattress protector at the store sales person said he could not let me take the mattress protector with me and it would be delivered with the mattress. That was a lie we had to drive to the store and pick it up. When they delivered my order they didn't send the items to mount the mirror to the dresser. Finally I was able to get a scheduled installation for my mirror then it was canceled because it was more than 2 weeks out. This store has gone to heck never buying from them again

As we speak I am waiting on my furniture that I ordered. I was promised 2 different delivery dates. My sales rep was the worse. He should not be working in this field. Please DO NOT shop at this store I have been trying to reach a manager for days and there is no way to reach anyone. I am very dissatisfied and this will be my last experience with Ashley in Avon. Customer service IS horrible and working in customer service myself there seems to be no concerns or resolution provided for customer satisfaction. I bought an entireliving room set in July 2022 and by August of2023 the material, and I say material becauseit's not leather and it's not fabric, has rubbedoff basically where someone's lower backwould sit. This living room set is Ashleysignature series and was sold to me as quitedurable the salesperson even took a key to thecouch while we were in the store to show itdoesn't scratch. Saw a rug I liked that was within a display asked if they sold rugs too was told yes., was given a discount but did not realize until home they sold me a used display rug. I bought a dining table Nov 2022 and received the table top, the chairs and four legs but not the bracelets or the shelf that goes below the table top that attaches to the legs so my table top has sat in my dining area for almost one year trying to get the parts to put my table together. NO ONE has been able to help me until today October 19, 2023. I have called the store, customer service, the corporate office, customer care, transferred from one number to another with no help. Because I moved, my warranty was no longer valid so be careful of that. Never again will I buy again from Ashley.

I would give zero stars if possible. Was supposed to get delivery between 2-5. Never showed up never called nothing. I tried calling them with little success but did speak with someone finally and was told furniture would be delivered by 6:30. 6:30 comes and goes still no delivery. Reach out again and told 7:50. That time comes sent text message saying driver was on his way then 5 mins later send text saying delivery was canceled. So, no furniture and a waste of my entire afternoon evening. Do not do business with them.

Did the finance through the company, was able to get home and go over all the paperwork found out it was not within my budget cancelled the same day was told I had to keep the mattress protector that they had me leave the store with. I don’t have a delivery date for 13 days so nothing to even use this mattress protector for and they told me I had to keep it. I was never told any of this in the store or while signing papers in the store! The finance company actually stated I can return at any time. Sophia and Christopher are horrible employees and do not explain terms to anything as long as they get their money that is all they care about

We ordered an 8 person table and a round table and 12 chairs. It was in May we where told July 1 st so to make everything easy we gave our table to goodwill on June 30th needless to say today is September 21st and we are still eating on our card table. They won't let you talk to anyone in the store and send you to delivery who has the famous answer 2 weeks we will call you. I di the whole talk and type thing and he was rude and asked me if I wanted to just cancel my order. I definitely would have but we have the catch all 800 in the instore credit only. I run a daycare in my home and feel so stupid for not having a table! They just said that's why we don't go there! Would have given a negative but no opportunity to do so. I hope to have it by Thanksgiving at this point but who knows! So no unless you are desperate don't order from Ashley Furniture. Ps. This is only the 2nd yelp I have ever posted its that bad!

I was told that I had 30 days to determine if my mattress fit my needs or not. Then I went in and was told oh that mattress doesn’t have a trial after less than 2 weeks. Why did the salesman Chris tell me that it did? Then I was told a ticket was being put in for someone to reach out to me and that has been almost a week ago. Very angry and disappointed. I normally receive great customer service. Now since there’s no customer service in the store anymore it’s impossible to talk to anyone.

Enjoyed our experience with the floor staff, however delivery and poor customer service has resulted in a one star review. The delivery of the couch was missing a back cushion. A picture was sent and was informed that day that a replacement would be delivered. Four days later when I called customer service they hadn’t order it yet but said they would. After a week a cushion cover only was delivered not the actually cushion. I called back several times with my order number but stated they couldn’t help me because they didn’t know what couch I had ordered even though they had my order number. Multiple phone calls in and still no help and an incomplete couch. Three weeks in and can’t get a simple cushion sent

Our experience at Ashley Furniture was excellent. We wanted to look for a sofa for our basement family room. We actually ended up buying more than that.. a loveseat, a chair & a half, an ottoman and an end table. We were greeted by an associate as soon as we entered but they left us alone to explore on our own, which we wanted to do. An associate checked in with us frequently but never hassled us. As soon as we decided what we wanted, an associate immediately took care of us, giving us the discount for the Labor Day sale. We’re we’re offered the protection package/ warranty but no pressure was put on us… which we appreciated. We are eagerly awaiting our furniture delivery.

We had been looking for a guest bedroom bed for sometime and didn't want to spend a lot money. Our sales person listened to our requirements and was showed us several options. He was professional and easy to work with. We are satisfied with the bed and mattres he put together fot us while keeping our budget in mind. Definitely will shop Ashley in the future.

For furniture, this was more my taste. Made several purchases , over multiple days with one delivery date, Yes!!!

I had found chairs online that I was interested in, went to the showroom to see if they had them, which they did not. The sales staff couldn't show me anything else with the same color/fabric as he'd "never seen it". Online is free standard shipping, the store tried to slip in $99 delivery free and could only offer a $65 doorstep delivery as a cheaper option. After being told to not order online as coming into the store would save me money and get better service, I left quite disappointed after wasting my time. The manager seemed annoyed that he had to cancel the transaction and wasn't sure he could do it. Don't waste the trip to the store, if you see it online, just order it. I was going to let it go but after multiple texts insisting I leave a review, here we are.

Bad experience in Ashley of Avon, Indiana, I was shopping for a barstools, found the ones I liked, but not the color I need, so I checked online at Ashley website founded it, and then went and asked the customer representative about it, but the stools where different price in store from online, ( didn’t said online only) , she recommended buying online, I when out the store, but then I asked my self why not asking about price match, and back into the store, front desk was a guy who said the price difference was more of 30% and they will not make money and asked me how I will feel to work and not make money, I asked for the manager maybe he will do the transaction because they don’t work for commissions ( they nevar called manager) between him and Ali nees, make feel so bad and the I was asking for free stuff, we have bedrooms , dinner and leaving room, furniture from Ashley ,I don’t think was right the way the treat us , just because was small purchased, I will make sure family and friends don’t go into this store they so bad…

Absolutely insane what they want for furniture of that quality. Open a drawer on any one of their dressers and you will see what I mean. Costco will cost roughly the same for furniture, but drastic quality difference.

After having a horrible experience at the Greenwood location, I decided to go to the Avon location to make my purchase. Jimmy was very courteous from the start he let us shop but checked on us occasionally to see if we had any questions. He checked on the loveseat we wanted to see when it would be in for us . 7/9/2023 Adding details. Reached out again to Ashley Furniture on 6/27 via the provided email address. As of July 9, Ashley Furniture has not responded via phone or email. Followed up on July 9. The delivery experience we encountered was absolutely unacceptable and resulted in a section of a sofa being damaged by the installers, followed by a 12" long scratch in our oak floor. This was after they threw all the sofa pieces into the yard from their truck, covering them in grass and mulch. And during the entire delivery process, one of the two installers was standing in my living room playing on his phone, not helping at all. I am awaiting Ashley Furniture to contact me to resolve this matter, including waiving the $500 "white glove" delivery fee and providing a discount on the merchandise to account for the flooring repairs needed.

I bought a dining table and bed from this store, also paid for the supposed white glove service. I received scratched furniture the first time around, so some of the furniture was left and the items that were scratched would come at a later time. Now, delivery comes a second time and they bring a new table but forgot the hardware to put it together. It took 5 visits total to have everything installed. Now one of my chairs is broken and every time I try to call customer service or anybody else, the automated voice says it’s closed. Incredibly disappointed as this is not the experience I had with delivery from crate and barrel. I am trying in good faith to get this chair swapped but this company doesn’t answer the phone

Stop. Read the negative reviews and spend your money and time elsewhere! Purchased a piece and was told it would be assembled and delivered in 2 weeks. The store charged our credit card at the time of purchase. When I looked at the invoice at home it said delivery in 8-14 weeks. Really loved the piece and decided I was willing to wait. Week 8 they scheduled and rescheduled delivery twice with the same message that the item was in Chicago. Went in to the store with the intention to cancel and receive a refund but was talked into one more delivery attempt because 'the item was in Chicago.' Item was delivered the next week. I watched it come off the truck, it had obviously been re-wrapped. They brought it in and at least 2 magnetic doors were defective and one was hanging askew and not square with the frame. Inside the cabinet spaces, every shelf was missing. Every one. So I refused delivery. Fairly certain we were not delivered a new piece but the last available floor sample in the country, lol. Trying to request a refund through their phone system was impossible, numerous calls and then I was on hold for 21 minutes waiting for approval by a supervisor before I disconnected. Emailing the local store manager, did work and we got our refund, but what an unnecessary hassle and waste of our time. All that could have been prevented by being truthful in the first place and a little quality control. And all while they had the money for the item for almost 10 weeks and probably knew they couldn't deliver.

Then please are very nice polite honest and help me do what I needed to do to get what I needed to do for the price that's very reasonable and I will be shopping there again

We worked with Doug in the Avon, IN store and he was great! Professional, polite and was not a pushy salesman. He got us what we wanted at a great price! We did have multiple issues with our sectional when it was delivered. One piece had a tear in the fabric, one pillow had a blue ink stain across it, and the chaise piece had a large gap in the back and the cushion would not fit properly. We had to call customer service for all of these things and they were fast in replacing the piece with the tear and the pillow, but for the chaise we had to send in photos and have a subcontracted furniture repair company come look at the issues. He pretty much said he couldn’t fix the defect and then we had to keep calling Customer service to get them to replace the piece. They did eventually but we had to take the initiative to keep on the outstanding service claim. Now that it’s all finished we are very happy with the sectional, it was just a pain to have to replace 3 pieces of a brand new unit.

This review is regarding my wife’s experience at Ashley’s. We got a couch and it started looking really bad within 2.5 months. We have been trying to contact Ashley’s regarding this issue. And I will remove my review upon getting a credit for a new couch. This one costed more than $3,000. We have a warranty and are awaiting a technician to come view our couch. He hasn’t come in over a month and we keep calling back while we keep getting the runaround. I will remove this review upon assistance.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my whole life. I purchased a couch through Ashley‘s and the customer service people keep giving me to different numbers. (The run around) they purposely make the customer team very hard to understand. I’ve only had this couch for 2.5 months and it looks like this… (pictures below) I’m trying to get a technician to come and view the couch but they won’t come. I’ve called so many times and no one actually helps. I tried to avoid leaving a review until I had enough. This is my couch, I have a warranty but it doesn’t seem to be put to good use since no one can help me. I don’t want the same replacement because it’s obvious this is couch bad quality. I’m hoping for a credit to get another couch. This one was over 3k and this is what it looks like in 2.5 months.

I paid $4,000 for a sofa here. It started out with terrible worn looking areas. Now just a little over a year old it's horrible. The padding under the cushions is gone ! I should of gone to Big Lots, less money same amount of wear. Buyer beware.

My husband and I had been looking for furniture off and on for about a year now. We had actually been to 6 different stores over the course of this weekend alone. We cannot say enough about the service we received from Sophia. She truly listened to our needs and didn’t try to just sell us the highest priced items in the store. She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the items we asked about and even flipped a recliner over for us to look at how solidly it was made. We were able to get an awesome price as well. She gave us her all even though we found out as we were leaving that she was going through one of the most difficult days of her life. We had stopped at another local furniture store (Kittles) and they didn’t even give us the time of day, and where to busy on their phones to ask us if we needed help finding anything. As soon as we walked into Ashley’s furniture we were greeted and asked if we needed help finding something. Sales lady stayed with us until we found the perfect piece of furniture that we were looking for. Quality of furniture at Ashley’s was the same as the previous high end store we had just been to.

Tom , the manager was amazing he was very helpful however Sophia however, I guess she was an associate. She was horribly rude very condescending did not listen and had a very prickly disposition putting it nicely. I would not recommend you go here. I would recommend you would go to Greenwood to their Ashley store.

Please never shop here. They delivered a table with scratches on it and didn’t put it together properly with stripping the screws. We refused delivery but they said we had to accept the scratched table and that we would have to take it up with the store in person. When they came back to get the table, they had to borrow my (the customers) tools and use my duct tape. They forgot a table leg at the house when they left so I had to schedule a third time for them to come back out and get what they forgot to take. I was then promised my money back within 8 business days and that was a lie. I had to file a dispute with Ashley furniture and they said it would take 60 days now. Worst customer service I have ever delt with. You can find better furniture at goodwill, I promise. Please save yourself the hassle.

There’s never a manager available to address your issues, the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I waited on a couch for two months and they have delivered it four times damaged or dirty. The first three times I sent the pieces back. The fourth time my partner accepted the delivery and one of the pieces were the wrong color. Someone delivered the missing piece and it was filthy

Staff was pretty helpful software had a little hiccup but after a few short minutes everything was then sorted out. Also Ashley furniture should try to promise people better shipping dates nobody wants to hear they may have to wait between 2-16 weeks to receive their furniture but overall was a decent experience

The visit to the store and making our purchase was very easy due to salesperson Stephanie Kaldahl. She answered questions while we were in-person and also later by text. She was friendly but not pushy and very responsive. We are very pleased. Hopefully, all will go as well with the delivery.

My hope is that after reading my story, and the gross negligence and terrible service provided to myself and my family, you will choose to shop somewhere other than Ashley Homestore, especially if in the Indianapolis area. My wife and I purchased a sectional for Ashley in the fall of 2020. We thought it was reasonably quality product at a reasonable price. I own a property management company, so we buy furniture for our short term rentals. It held up reasonably for about 18 months. On August 23, we were sitting on the couch and felt something in the back give way. The cushions immediately sank about 12 inches, and the seat became separated from the back. After placing a call to the store, we were told it was out of warranty (understandable) and he had to physically come into the store to get a repair person to come to our house. (How is this possible, that in 2022 I can’t order service over the phone or internet, and have to come to the store???) Upon arrival at the store, AHS Castleton (8708 Castle Creek Pkwy East, Indianapolis) we were assisted by a employee who informed us we could pay for parts and materials, and would get a call within a few days to schedule a repair appointment. We paid $208.65 for parts and labor at this time. (Sales order 021950216) After a week went by, we called the store to follow up. They said that something went wrong and they would resubmit for a call next week. The same thing happened next week. We were finally able to get an appointment on 11/23 - almost a month after visiting the store. Upon the technician’s arrival, he cut open the bottom of the sectional, and informed us that the staples that hold together the wood missed during manufacturing. Manufactures defect, but I am outside of warranty, so ok, just fix it. Instead of that, the service technician said it would take two hours to repair, and we only paid for one hour for $130, so we had to drive back to the store to pay for another hour of labor before he would fix it. (Again, I could not pay him, I could not call in a credit card, I could not do anything that would allow him to fix it at this appointment. I had to go back to the store) So on November 30, we went back into Ashley Homestore in Castleton, Indiana. We paid our $65 for an additional hour of labor (Sales order 0219731388) and were told the same 2-3 days to get a call for scheduling. After over a dozen phone calls and attempts for us to call someone to get this scheduled, which no one ever was able to discuss with us the scheduling of this appointment for over a week, We returned to the store on December 5th. We met Ron, a new manager at this location. Ron looked at our paperwork, and informed us that the last two orders were done incorrectly as sales orders, and we needed a service order. He placed service order 0219758002, with an estimated date of repair on the service order of 12/13/2022, and again assured us we would get a call within a few days to complete the repair. Ron gave us his direct line to call if we did not get a call within 3 days. 12 day went by without any communication from Ashley. Ron was called three times during that 12 days, failing to answer calls or return messages. On December 17 (Saturday) we returned to the store. This is our fourth trip into the store for a single repair. We again saw Ron. He had no explanation for the missed calls, or lack of response. He had no answers on why service did not call. I had to use a lot of restraint to stay calm at this meeting, but managed. I gave Ron and Ashley home store one more opportunity - Their store manager could call me on Sunday after their mandatory all store meeting, or I would take my frustrations public. I got a message on Sunday from Ron, his store manager had called off on Sunday, but would be in Monday. He assured me that Monday this would be addressed by the Store manager. Monday at 5:30 pm I had waited long enough. I called Ron - he answered this time. I told him no call from the store manager, but the store manager just happened to be standing there, so Ron handed the call over to Jeff. I calmly explained my entire story to Jeff, and his reaction is what prompted this lengthly response. Jeff said: This is the very first time I am hearing of this. Jeff said: So what do you want me to do? I replied “Keep your commitments and live up to the expectations you set. And I just want my couch repaired.” Jeff said: We have no control over service at the store, there is nothing I can do. So I am going to Google “furniture repair” and will likely have this done in a week. I was told I would get a call on Wednesday from Chad, the DM/RM, but based on my prior interactions with the staff at Ashley, I won’t be holding my breath.

Don’t go here unless you want to be told they’d have all your furniture by move in date (4 months away) and only bring one item and still charge you for all 4 items . We went here and picked out a recliner a coffee table a side table and a couch and we were willing to pay the prices for 4 items , now we’re stuck with the payments of 4 items and only have one the recliner . Not to mention this recliner is already broken and has been since month 5 of leasing .. highly highly disappointed, had high hopes and still have yet to be helped to resolve my issue …

When we need furniture for our new home we went to Ashley in Avon. We had the pleasure of working with Fred. Fred was very knowledgeable about the products we were interested in. Fred's patients with us was amazing my wife and I had a hard time agreeing on some pieces Fred helped out with all the pros and cons to make the decision easier. If you find yourself in need of furniture or accents I encourage you to visit Fred at the Ashley Homestore In Avon you won't be disappointed.

We have had a technician out to our home twice in the last 3 months for the exact same damage. After the first technician did not submit the report correctly, they sent another technician who ordered nail heads for the furniture that don’t even match the original nail heads on it (1 missing). Now they’re scheduling ANOTHER technician out to our home to put on the nailhead. We’ve repeatedly asked for a replacement being the delivery people damaged the corners in the first place. 3 months later and we’re getting NO where with this company after we paid for a warranty. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Their customer service is horrible and the 3rd party technicians are just as bad.

It took us a year to completely get all of our furniture that we ordered!!! Communication from the store was non existent. You have to call to check up on your order and when items come in stock they do not inform you. The phone number they give you to check on your order is a call center in another country but when you try to call the actual store no one answers. We had to go into the store multiple times to talk to someone. The furniture is nice once we received it but it sure has been a headache.

I would be leaving a zero star review if I could because they do not deserve a star. This has been the worst experience of my life. The most unprofessional, unhelpful, rude experience. Do not buy your furniture here. You will be wasting your time. Literally wasting your time, they do not care to make you wait and will not call to let you know when they will actually be there. This is a terrible company who will just give you a run around. Where is my sectional? Who knows and they can’t tell you because the can’t call their delivery drivers. Literally what they told me. I was told to “just wait” and was hung up on 3 times. The agents are extremely unhelpful. Do not go through this. Also going into the store doesn’t help. They aren’t very polite when you aren’t buying furniture that day. Go anywhere else.

Bought a chair from Ashely, reported to them it doesn't feel right the 2nd day we had the chair. They refuse to take chair back and now it's sits in leaving room without tags still on on used.

After waiting 17 WEEKS I visited the store hoping to get info on delivery date. Was told it was 'in transit" and, taking my email address was told I would receive an update within two working days. No email, ever. I made it very clear that if it was not here in a week I would take legal action to cancel and get my money back. Magically, a week later I received a call it was ready to pickup and given number to call to arrange pickup. Number connected to what I assume was the Ashley 'international' agent. She, with a very heavy non-USA accent acknowledged it was ready ( going by the phone number ) but had NO idea where it was and could not find the Avon, Indiana store listed on her computer. I asked her to look for it in Plainfield and Indianapolis as well. Nothing. I made a GOOGLE search for Ashley Avon finally found the number to call where I was able to confirm it was there and I was able to pick it up. Bottom line - only time will tell the quality of the furniture purchased, but it doesn't matter, I will never shop or recommend Ashley stores again. Should have stuck with the other store I've used previously.

I was seriously perplexed by the fact that the online price and in store prices vary. It can be very confusing for the customer. Lucky we had good customer service in store at the Avon, In location. I went in asking for what I wanted and he was polite. They are a bit pushy on the warranty selling but I get it coming from a retail background.

Frank and Sophia provided outstanding customer service. We were in need of a comfortable recliner for a family member that was to be released from the hospital. Understanding the urgency of the situation, Frank conveyed that a couple were available on the showroom floor. Other furniture distributors stated that this type of item would take several days, if not weeks, to fill an order. Upon arrival, Sophia escorted me to the products, and she identified an additional recliner that was available. This find proved perfect! She was prompt and courteous with the sale process, and Frank was considerate regarding our situation and assisted with loading the recliner into my truck. The recliner continues to serve its purpose extremely well. Thanks to this Ashley team for effectively solving our short-fused challenge!

The length of time it took to get my items was unbelievable. Then when I called I was made to feel like you ordered the items wait on it or cancel. When I went into the store the manager did take time to help me find other items that were readily available, but nothing compared too what I had ordered. He did what he could to made the situation a little better and that was the only reason I didn't cancel the entire order. I placed my order in May of 2022 and it just arrived Oct. 19th.

I placed my order for my bedroom set in June. I finally have the whole set in October. It is definitely worth the wait. My sales person was great. The delivery drivers were all friendly and efficient. I will definitely order from them again.

Ordered a chair 6 wks ago. Said it would be delivered November 21. No chair. Tried calling several times a day the last week and nobody would answer the phone. Just wanted to know why there was a delay on my delivery.

My husband and I just spent almost $4000 on a bedroom set and everything about the service from the time we left the store until delivery was horrendous. The furniture is great, just a few dings and we had to set up our own furniture after we paid extra for the white glove service. They didn't even put on handles on them.We have a mirror on our dresser that is not attached and just like everything else, nothing but delivery and putting the bedframe together. We also only got 3rd party delivery, not even an Ashley truck. This was our first time using Ashley and probably our last. We will go elsewhere.

Fantastic purchase in Avon... but we were told we'd get a call or text to come get our furniture by the 19th but nobody has made contact with me. The selection is great and extremely varied on site but its unfortunate that actually getting the item is not as timely as it could be...

If there was an option to give them no stars I would. I only added one star so I could post this. It has been the worst expirience EVER dealing with them!!!!! I've orded prior with them and had no issues which is why I decided to use them again, BUT NEVER AGAIN. I bought a bedroom set and mattress totalling $12,200 and i have been delievered the temperpudic matress dirty twice!!!! the delivery guys eneded breaking an item from my house the second time they replaced the mattress. I have to wait to call back so they can send a technician to come and clean it! But wait thats not all....they broke the side rail of the bed frame during installation. The drawers do not work. They dont go in all the way and get stuck. I had all this delievred on 08/31 and have yet to have a technician come check out the drawers. Paul that works at the AVON store was super rude and after I told him i wanted someone higher to speak with he said he was the only person there. I spoke with a so call Dominique from "corparate" and she said theres nothing to do. I asked for them to take all of it back and jsut give me a refund as they had no came to look at any of the broken items. Needless to say if you are going to be purchasing and giving the your hard earn money please be advice that there customer service is horrible!!!! ABSOLUTE WORST! I've called every other day since delivery date and Ive called just about every number and no one can help me. RIDICULOUS!

Customer service SUCKS. The guy who helps you looks like a deer stuck in headlights and is extremely slow. It's not a pleasant experience if you have issues. Which I and my sister both had issues with our orders.

It took almost a month and a half for the delivery to to even be scheduled but it was worth the wait because our furniture is beautiful. The gentleman who set every thing Up were very prompt, polite and worked very fast to set up. They cleaned up the mess very nicely and positioned my furniture where I had asked. Thanks!

The ABSOLUTE WORST shopping experience I've had in my life!!! Have shopped at Ashley many times during my life with satisfactory results, but the Avon IN location has both terrible customer service and management teams.

Danielle was very helpful in helping us understand our options for a couch purchase and any other pieces we could be interested in. We left feeling very satisfied with our couch purchase. It can take time for it to be delivered, like weeks. If you want something quicker you may head to another store. It comes with a warranty for a year so I am glad I did not get the upholstery warranty. I got that on another piece and tried to have a cushion cleaned. Marker is not covered . Not sure if same for Ashley warranty but I have not had a lot of luck with the warranties.

We waited 6 months to get furniture. We were told 3-4 months and after the 4th month we started calling. It was very difficult to get anyone to talk to. You can’t even directly call the store, which made it even worse. When we finally got furniture one of the five pieces was wrong and two other ones were damaged. No timeline on getting the correct items to us. We will not be back.

Initial purchase went great. Item was purchased because we were told it was in stock at the warehouse and we could pick it up there the next day. Arrived for pickup and was told the item must be transferred from another facility, a delay of four days. Sales person has not responded to phone calls. I will never purchase another item from Ashley. I suggest you avoid them as well.

Just moved from California so we were desperate to find a kitchen table and chairs ASAP. Kenny is who helped us out and he was awesome and very truthful with us. Luckily what we wanted was in stock but has to be shipped from the warehouse and should arrive in 4 days. I know with covid everything is taking much longer to be delivered so hoping this won't be delayed! Will have to update once we get our shipment but if you ever come to Ashley, you need to ask for Kenny to help you!

Sales person quoted 2-3 weeks for delivery, it took 10 weeks. I scheduled it to be delivered multiple times, I was canceled on hours prior to delivery twice. Finally, I was called mid-day by the delivery truck driver and told they were in town with my delivery and wanted to deliver within the hour, even though I was not scheduled until the next evening. My couch and chair were finally delivered July 30, but the reclining mechanism began malfunctioning within 48 hours of receiving the furniture. I placed a call to customer service and they offered to replace the chair. They have scheduled delivery 3 times now, the delivery drivers don’t show up or call and tell me that they cannot find my house and that I will need to reschedule. Now, the couch’s reclining mechanism is also malfunctioning after only 2 weeks of use. I have called customer service 10+ with no solution. They are denying a refund on clearly poor quality manufacturing. Don’t waste your money here.

I ordered my befdin Dec2021. They said that it will be delivered within in 12-16 weeks its almost aug 2022. . Eveytime call them they said not available. When i been to avon store said it’s definitely delivered by 20th of July. And today is 21 ist july. I’ll never gonna buy from ashley next time and even recommended to anybody

The experience that I have had with Ashley has been absolutely awful, and I am still dealing with problems that are NOT being taken care of. Extremely poor customer service.

They lie up front about when you will get your items. Got my end tables yesterday after ordering on Black Friday. End table isn’t level. Can’t sit a drink on it because all four feet don’t sit evenly in the floor. Far to much to pay for a wobbly table. I’ll never shop there again. What would I recommend about Ashley home store? The delivery people were nice, but other than that… I’d recommend nothing.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! Ordered a dining room table and chairs at the end of August 2021. When it finally arrived in March 2022, the table was split down the middle and pieces were missing. We immediately called for an exchange and were told the product was discontinued and we would have to exchange it from another store somewhere in the US or get a different product. After numerous date changes, the product finally arrived at the end of June... it took an entire 10 months to finally get our order. The manager at the Avon, IN store where we originally ordered the product was absolutely zero help in the process....she was terrible... absolutely uncaring and unconcerned about the predicament we were in. She thought it appropriate to tell us that we could go look at different stores ourselves to see of any store had the product in stock that we might be able to exchange. She never offered to try to call other stores to see if there was an exchange product available. Make no mistake, we will NEVER shop at Ashley furniture again!!

They worked with us in the financing that we wanted and we really like the product that we bought. Cant wait to receive it. Lead time seems long

I have had nothing but issues with Ashley 's ever since I ordered over $5000 worth of furniture. We ordered four dining chairs, and a full king size bedroom suite. We were told it would take until the end February to get everything in. No problem. I put my down payment and waited. February came so I called to get an ETA. The gentleman at customer service advised nothing would be available until April. I stated I did not want to wait 2 more months for my furniture and to cancel everything. Lisa from the Avon location gave me a call and helped me work out a plan. She confirmed the table, chairs, chest, bed frame, and head board could get to us by middle of March. I said that would work for me. My fiance and I had been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for 6 months at that point so whats another couple weeks. March comes and they drop off my four chairs, table, and the chest. Not only did they not deliver what was stated above, the delivery driver also only had 3 legs of my table. Told them to take the top of the table back but leave the chairs and chest. When I called Lisa and advised what happened, she kindly confirmed they would bring it back out ASAP. Perfect! I asked when the remainder of our furniture would be in. She tells me not until May. So, not only did they mess up my delivery, but now I am also not getting the furniture they told me I would get in March, until May. I canceled the remaining furniture and requested when they drop off the table they also take the chest with them. They advised they would not take it unless it was an exchange. At this point I was just done so I told them don't worry about it. We get our first bill and they are still charging me for the ENTIRE BEDROOM SET that we didn't even get! I've reached out to them three times in the past month to get this resolved. We just received another bill for the same amount. I have tried to be kind and understanding but I am at my whit's end with them. Nobody has even attempted to reach out to me to confirm details. I will never shop at Ashley's again. The stress isn't worth the "quality" of the furniture.

My wife purchased two chairs from themabout four months ago. After waiting months forthem to be delivered, we received a call saying theywould be delivered this week. The next day we got acall saying they can only deliver one because theother is now on back order 9. Today they deliveredone chair and after unpacking it we discovered it wasBROKEN. Called them and said they could do nothingtoday because order is still open and it might take upto six weeks to come back and get the broken chairand who knows how long to get a replacement chair.Of course they offered for someone to come out and"fix" it. Sorry I don't want a jerry rigged chair I payedfull price for.

Ashley has gone downhill, the quality is not what it used to be and they are very expensive for what you are getting. My "sales" person was so UN-helpful seemed like I was annoying her because I wanted to spend money there, which I was prepared to do. Left without looking further. Will never go back.... if the sales person would have been even a little interested in doing their job. I would have made a purchase. We went in with our 4 young children to shop for couches yesterday and the employees were beyond helpful and welcoming! We found couches and chairs we liked, and Jimmy helped us purchase them and set us up for delivery. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ll update once we get the couches, but the store experience Was fantastic!

Ashley Furniture has been awful to deal with! We purchased our home in September 2021. We bought 2 different sets for our home. We were told our furniture would arrive at the end of December/early January. That quickly turned into March and now May. Our furniture finally arrived on May 27, 2022. Paul at the store was extremely rude and hard to deal with. We had purchased a different kitchen table from someone else. We tried to cancel it. To this day, we have been going through all sorts of hoops trying to get our money back! They do not answer their phone calls or listen to their voice mailbox. I have had to go in person on multiple counts with no sucess. I will never shop at Ashley furniture. I would rather spend more at a better place than Ashley. UPDATE: After countless attempts with corporate and in-store associates, we were unable to get our issue resolved. We continued to go in circles and neither store and corporate would do anything. The response from owner was useless too. All Ashley wants to do is look good and try to look like they are getting their customers issues resolved. The way Ashley has treated us is unacceptable, and we will NEVER shop at Ashley again!

I went in expecting to order a chair but they had it in stocks. Great price, great service equal a great experience.

The store and the sales people are good. However, we were told up to 16 weeks for delivery. 19 weeks later, the date has changed 4 times and they still have no idea when it will be in. If you want furniture within 6 months, I would go somewhere else.

Macy was my sales person.she was friendly and very knowledgeable ended up getting exactly what I wanted and a great price the store was well lit and clean very happy with the whole experience

Horrible experience with this company. Dont waste your money on the delivery. Pay way to much money for them to tell you its going to take more than a month to get some of your items. If you dont have it then dont sell it! And to top it off when your delivery date does arrive they call and tell you their truck broke down...or they cant put your stuff together because their drill died. Definately will not recommend in the future.

Prices were midrange. Selection was decent. Dealt with two different salespeople, both were helpful without being pushy.

We got a good deal on furniture from them, but the hassle in trying to get the correct pieces delivered in undamaged condition has been a nightmare. We ordered a sectional in October 2021. Because of supply chain issues, it was not delivered until February 2022. Since then, we have continued to try to get a damaged piece replaced and another damaged piece repaired and they continually show up to deliver the wrong pieces of furniture. Don't bother trying to call the store either. They don't answer and you get transferred to a customer service line every time.

Sofia was particularly helpful with providing options and meeting me at my price range, to include delivery and set-up. She was also very sweet and kind enough to listen to all of the issues leading up to this necessary purchase.

WARNING! They will open credit cards for any “credit application” account they run. So even if you get approved for the first card, they will open 2 or more cards without your approval if you are approved by that bank.

Sophia was fantastic! Gave us space when needed for shopping and making a decision. Then was able to get us a fantastic deal!

Went in the evening early in the week. We were greeted by a very nice associate. He was patient and walked us around pointing out what would fit our needs. While it was not the one we wanted that was cancelled by another company it would fit us and allow dogs (60lb pit bull and 100 large breed mix) to cuddle with us. We knew already that it could take 2-3 months for us to get it but we actually got the call less than a month later. The delivery people were very nice and professional.

New purchase 4/22/23 The purchase experience was very pleasant and the staff were great. I look forward to receiving my bedroom set. The price point was within my budget as well. Purchasing experience was easy. We picked up the furniture up at the distribution center with no issues. We love the sofa.

Ordered two recliners November 14th, paid for them and was told 12 to 16 weeks delivery. Called at week 14 and was told the end of march. Stopped in the store today and was told end of july. If you want furniture, dont go here. They take your money and just give you excuses for not delivering.

We walked in just to look today, Sophia very politely approached us and we sat with her and said what we were wanting and went from there. We were shown every stage of the options that we liked and she helped us decide what would look best and the three of us pieced out a perfect combination. We never once felt rushed or pressured, Sophia got us the best values and deals. We will definitely be back and definitely working with Sophia again. Very very pleased with today's visit and the fact that we were valued and didn't feel like just a commission. Store was also very nice and clean.

I really got hands on service. No stress or trying to sell me anything. They let me shop as I wanted to. I brought a new sofa and a recliner. She even took a pillow off the sofa so I could match the recliner to the color of they sofa. I also liked the 5 year warranty if anything happens to either item if they can not fix the item. They will replace the item for me. They also give you repayment options. I was also approved for their card. I was very pleased. _______________ It is April 13th 2022 this is the update from the previous remark I made above. I received my furniture on the day that it said it was going to be delivered. I had a recliner and a sofa. The recliner came in and two pieces a snapped it together. the sofa was something else they couldn't get through my door I live in a small apartment and my door has a closet across from it and they couldn't maneuver it through the door so they took it back. I spoke to someone on the phone that the guy called to deliver the furniture and let them know that I did not accept the sofa because they couldn't get it through the door. I'm going to Ashley's in the morning when they open to make sure I'm not charged for the sofa which will bring my bill down a lot. Also the guy that put the chair together the recliner didn't give me a chance to look at the recliner and make sure it was okay I looked up he was out the door.

I went to Ashley looking for a coffee table and possibly a bedroom suit. I was greeted by the manager but I’m so sorry I can’t remember his name! He was so kind and very patient, very knowledgeable in the products, never pushy. Once I had made my decision, he asked if I would mind doing the paperwork with his sales associate, Jimmy. Jimmy was much of the same, very kind, patient and knowledgeable. Jimmy assisted me with looking at the Tempur-pedic beds to compare to the sleep number bed I had recently decided on. He answered all of my questions in great detail and allowed me plenty of time to go back-and-forth comparing the beds. Thanks to these two very kind gentlemen, I was very pleased with my purchases and cannot wait for my new furniture! It is delivering sooner than I thought it would and pray that all goes as well as the in-store experience I had tonight!

We bought a bedroom set in Oct 2019 the wood on the bed completely cracked open and split this year $3,000 bedroom set should last more then 2 1/2 years. Obviously they will do nothing because we didn’t purchase the warranty which I’m aware I didn’t because I figured we would atleast get 10-20 years out of our bedroom set no 2 1/2 years. Horrible quality furniture for the price you pay.

I had made a virtual appointment on December 6th, 2021. Purchased a couch and was to receive a $50 Mastercard the following week. I still have not received it as of January 31, 2022. I have been in full correspondence with the store representative who I had a virtual appointment with and the store manager since then (text, phone, and email messages) Went to the store on January 17, 2022 and was told NOW it would be in the mail within 7-14 days. Still not here as of January 31. I have lived at my residence over 22 years, same email and phone number. No update's to a wrong email, phone number or address which the store has verified throughout this ordeal. I am rating this as a 1 because of the run around and will continue to pursue.

I've been a long-time customer with ashley furniture in Avon, indiana, This post is nothing against the store itself. It is against the warranty department ashley furniture and mattress store, I would not recommend Ashley premium mattress because because I was convinced that this mattress would come with a warranty it is a Ashley brand premium. The mattress warranty on this particular mattress only covers tears, and if something gets wet on the mattress that may seek through. It's sister it, I also purchased a mattress Protector And additional $300. That I was told would have covered the mattress warranty . The store salesmen have done everything that they could do to try to help me. But this is on the 12 department they sent a Technician out to look at my mattress, he took pictures and meyou're missed and stated to me that I will have to fight would ask me to get a next change or Wi-Fi for this mattress. He also stated that this was not a good mattress. Because pillow tops are just not that mattress anymore. So I have contacted the warranty department of Ashley Furniture & mattress store. They indicated to me that the technician stated that there was nothing wrong with this mattress for it to be exchanged at this time. My problem with the mattress is that it does not sleep. Very well, my lower back is in so much pain from sleeping on. This mattress is what I explained to Several representatives , I also have spoke with the manager in the Warranty department by the name of Angela. She also said that ashley does not exchange mattresses or refund them for discomfort. I have invested hard on money for a good quality. Mattress, Please don't waste your money buying mattresses from Ashley furniture. They will not honor their mattress under no circumstances. My opinion Companies get so bit. They don't take pride in the quality of merchandise that they're selling. And they should honor the consusir. Because you're still trying to stay in business. So maybe this won't affect Ashley furniture and the Mattress store right now because I'm one customer. But later on down-the-line, more customers that may have complaints about the same issue. It will start affecting this company one day. So this company may have gotten away with What I feel like. Taking my hard earned money. Maybe be a Scam, because this company isn't Honoring what they say they will When you're making a purchase.

The first salesman I dealt with wasn’t very helpful. Every item I asked about, without even looking it up he said 8-12 weeks delivery. I said the sign on that one says available for immediate delivery. He said yeah that’s not true. Then once I picked a set he said actually I have to leave, I’ll get another salesman and be right back. After 20 minutes I went and found someone to help me. The 2nd salesman’s name was Franklin! Super helpful and amazingly enough the furniture I picked is being delivered Jan 4th. I left 4 stars due to the fact the first salesman wasn’t helpful and ditched me.

Our salesperson, Ali, was very informative and patience. She knows the floor; we asked to see specifics 4 models of recliners and showed us each one and gave us information about each one. after sitting in each one we were able purchase the perfect chair for us.

We ordered a power leather recliner and matching couch. Did come in early. When it was delivered the power cord for the recliner was missing. The delivery guy said he was contacting someone and they would bring it to us the next day. Here we are 3 weeks later, STILL. NO. POWER. CORD! We have called and called and called put on eternal hold or told “not my department, I will transfer you. Even went into the store spoke to a Lisa, stated she would look into and call me. NO CALL, NO POWER CORD!! WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THE AVON STORE!

Nice things, but not what I am looking for.

Good Black Friday deals, respectful sales staff, and good variety of products. After some hunting we found some lovely and reasonably priced items to furnish our master bedroom.

No pressure to buy anything was able to shop around till we had questions, and then the sales person was great at helping.

We had really expected to be bombarded with salespeople following us around but we’re pleasantly surprised. We looked for quite a while and spoke to Mike at the Avon, IN location. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped us decide on a living room suit. He showed us all the options and was very quick to explain all of them to us to get us the best deal possible for us. We would definitely go back again.

I always hated going to furniture stores because there was always the sales person breathing down your neck and pushing for the sale. Ashley’s was the complete opposite!! Our sales person was so pleasant and showed us to what we were looking for and gave us our space to talk and think over our options. I left with a wonderful purchase and an amazing experience!! I would highly recommend them to everyone I know!!

Spent 4 thousand dollars on a living room set with an extended warranty. It lasted 13 months and the rocking recliner is so noisy you can’t use it. Ashly furniture says its not their problem, we need to call the extended warranty company, they don’t even answer the phone. Going to my local mom and pop store to buy a new recliner.

Ordered a sectional 3 months ago with an ETA of November 9th. Wife called to see if we were on track to deliver this week. Call center person informed us our order was canceled on 10/7 due to expired financing. Nobody told us anything. And nobody will answer at the store. We are irate!!!

When we were in the store ordering, I was very happy with the experience and even told the salesman I would go write a review for him, if that would help. I came home and gave them five stars. But then everything crashed and burned pretty quickly. All the comments you’re seeing about bad customer service are beyond true. The salesman, James G, was great when we were there. But the second our order was placed/financials were confirmed we were treated completely differently. To make an incredibly long story short, the wrong couch was delivered (salesman put the orientation in wrong). But when we called him and texted him - no answer. We also called the store, no answer. We had to physically go to the store to be able to speak to somebody. It was not on a weekend by the way, mid day during the week. The salesman was indeed there - so clearly we just weren’t important enough to respond to. He said he would work on it, etc. We obviously wanted the order expedited quickly as this was their error. The next day we texted him for an update. No response. Another text, no response. A third text, no response. Then we received an automated call saying we could schedule our delivery. The closest date was a little over a week out and we took it. The week passes and the day before it is due do arrive I call to get a timeframe for the delivery (so I can takeoff work and be home). At that point I was told that the delivery was actually not ready to be delivered and would be another 6 to 8 weeks. Again, I only found this information out because I called to get a timeframe for when it was supposed to be delivered the following day. Nobody from the store, or our salesman, or their corporate delivery team, or whoever contacted us. I would’ve taken the day off work to sit and wait for a couch that didn’t come had I not called for a timeframe. So I contact the store, again. I spoke with the manager Lisa, who essentially just blamed production line issues and delays due to Covid. I pointed out that production issues have nothing to do with the fact that her salesman entered it in wrong to begin with, then would not respond to us, nobody would answer the store alliance we had to physically go in, then nobody contacted us to say it was delayed again. All of that boils down to bad communication and no respect for us as a customer. Not product issues. During my phone call with her she took no responsibility for her salesman or the store, and talked over me/interrupted me to the point where I had to say “I would like to finish what I’m saying, please.” She very clearly didn’t like that, and had a tone the rest of the phone call. Again, this woman is the MANAGER. It is no wonder the salesman treat people the way they do if this is her attitude towards customers. She said she would see if she can call and get it Rush ordered, and I will hear from her by the end of the day. Of course, I did not. With that, I emailed and said I needed the whole thing canceled. She didn’t apologize, she didn’t offer any solutions, she just said she would have cancellation forms to me by the end the day. Yet again, that did not happen. They can’t even stick by their word for canceling. None of this should happen to any customer, but especially a first time customer. We just bought a home and have a whole house to furnished, and we’re looking forward to doing most of that here. Now we will never be back. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever received. Do not waste your time.

This store does not follow the exchange policies established on Ashley's website of 30 days after delivery, even though the item was delivered the same day. I went through an exchange and in the store they send me to call and Customer service send to the store, they are not clear with the policies at the time of purchase. They urgently need a review by the entity in charge of consumer abuse.

Buyer beware if you order furniture most of it is taking 12 to 16 weeks to be delivered so choose wisely. To me the delivery is a lifetime and not worth it because things change in 3 to 4 months.

Ordered around $7,000 in furniture on December 27, 2020 and I’m STILL waiting on items from my order almost 1 YEAR LATER!!!!!!!!!! I have called and been given 2 delivery dates and times and took off of work and no one showed up, I have went into the store and they are absolutely no help! I got half a sectional delivered and had to make die with that for a couple of months until they delivered the rest….Ashley Furniture is absolutely terrible! I will NEVER purchase from them again.

Compared to furniture I’ve purchase online, in the past, I’ve been satisfied with the quality of their products Especially dressers and chests. After a few botched online purchases, I like checking out the quality of the furniture, in store, before I purchase.
