I purchased a split king purple hybrid along with split bases and sheets on 3-8-25. I paid $9318.26 for it all. That day I took the mattresses and sheets with me and went home knowing that they were to deliver my bases. Come 3-28-25 I hadn't heard from them and when I went online to get the number for the store I noticed that purple had these on sale for $2000 less than what I paid. I went to the store and spoke with my salesperson Frank who proceeded to tell me that since I was in possession of the mattresses that what I paid is what I will have to deal with. I told him that I found this very disappointing. I suggested that I have a 100 night guarantee satisfaction therefore maybe I should just return them. Frank then proceeded to tell me that the guarantee is only to pick a different mattress not truly a satisfaction guarantee. I went to purple website and ironically they have a true 100 night satisfaction guarantee or full refund. I try very hard to shop local and buyer beware maybe online is the way to not get taken!! Frank then conveniently scheduled delivery for my bases that apparently have been in the warehouse and no one called me to schedule delivery prior to my stop in the store. I work hard for a living and it is quite disappointing to know that is our customer service.

We worked with Ashley Hevron. She is so Professional & Courteous when my wife and I were shopping for a New Dining Room Set for our Catering Business. We have a private space that is called our Tuscan Wine Room in Downtown Evansville, Indiana. We bought 48 Chairs and 6 Tables. They are so Beautiful and very Sturdy. We are so pleased with them. We would definitely go back there again and ask for Ashley. Also, the two delivery drivers did an excellent job delivering and setting them up and were very careful getting them in our building. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture.

I ordered a nectar mattress. They told me it’d take a week to come in and ended up taking a month. When I went to pick it up they ended up giving me the wrong mattress which was less than half of the price I paid for the one I originally ordered. I called them and they wanted me to bring in the wrong one to exchange it for the right one. I had already put it on my bed so they ended up agreeing to come and pick up the mattress they gave me and give me the right one. The whole experience was a huge inconvenience.

Terrible quality, will never buy from Ashley furniture again, we have fell through our $800 bed twice (we also paid for a warranty) the first time we fell through the guy that came back to put new part informed us that it was missing bolts and had been put together improperly and two months later we fall through it again, so we called the store in Evansville again and spoke to Wayne and he informed us that we were scooting the bed and needed to put a rug under it when it is definitely a design flaw because the legs are as skinny as the tooth pick I use to clean my teeth with, Wayne claimed that he ordered us more parts and now 2 weeks later still no signs of them being here, so I will let everybody know how much of a joke Ashley furniture is and to never buy from them because they have garbage quality.

My wife and I been looking for a mattress and after going to 3 other places and getting either getting ignored or salesperson that want to only sell you one brand, we decided to stop by Ashely Store. WOW Talk about an experience, from the greeting to final Sale process. Steve M greeted us, we told him what we are looking for. To our surprise instead of taking us to just show various mattresses or brand we came to see Sealy, he got us on bed that measures pressure points and showing what type of mattress actually would support our needs. Steve was VERY knowledgeable about every brand and what we also liked additional touch of providing a pillow to use while trying mattresses, just how you would sleep at home. Not only that made HUGE difference in trying suggested mattress but we also got sold on pillow we tried :) Now that's a great Salesperson. During checkout when my wife went to check sectional with Steve, Han was very professional and made checkout process very smooth, she even did small talk to avoid awkward silence while I was waiting for my wife to finish browsing. These small yet effective customer service is what will get us back to Ashely and avoid other stores in the area. Thank you for a Pleasant and enjoyable experience.

My wife and I looked around and had a salesman answer questions, he did not follow us around which I appreciated, we bought a couple of items, overall a good experience and we will go back.
We knew what we wanted when we arrived. Sales personnel was very thorough in looking up a past relatives account and what was ordered. She double checked prices for all items as it was the beginning of Black Friday deals and gave us the best possible price she could. She then went on to offer an additional service for repairs, etc. that could occur within a four year period. Brought us our receipt and went over each item thoroughly. We discussed delivery also and it met our expectations with the holidays approaching. She was very polite, helpful, and thorough. Will definitely be doing business there in the future.

Lauren greeted me as soon as I entered respectfully because I was on the phone. I was on the phone for awhile as 2 of my 3 children called. The point is when I finally was off the phone she was there helping me and so patient with me. Bottom line is she was professional and knowledgeable and sold me!!!! I went to buy a new sectional for my house I purchased. We walk in and start looking at the sectionals. We’re approached by one of the managers. She was a lady and was very nice and seemed to be a hurry. We said we would like to purchase this. But we want to make sure it would fit as described in the picture. We showed her the picture of the house we bought with their couch. She quickly said yes it would fit in the space and be flushed with wall. We get the couch in and it was absolutely nothing as she said it would be . It completely consumes our whole living room now. We talked to them and they said we can do a restock fee and you can send it back for their mistakes and issues they caused. The sells person told me I don’t understand why It’s not back on the truck yet. They don’t seem to really care to fix or help sold the issue. All they want to do is sell you stuff and after that then they don’t care to help you. I would choose a different place to go from now on. Because now we have something they promised but ended up being a quick sale and false information. Mainly on the management at the location.

My wife and I stopped in to look at sectionals to see the selections and we were NOT disappointed at all. Steven approached us and asked what options we needed and after a short conversation he knocked it out of the park. He showed us an amazing sectional that had everything we mentioned and the style we were looking for and we were sold before we even sat down. We unfortunately had to make our trip in very short but Steven said to reach out to him when we had more time. We did and while unfortunately we were not able to work with Steven he left us in good hands, Lauren. Lauren was just as amazing as Steven and walked us through everything. My wife and I knew after such an amazing experience with both Steven and Lauren and finding our future sectional that we were sold. I am sure everyone else that works here is just as amazing but we only had the privilege to work with Steven and Lauren. I did mention that we will definitely back for a mattress shortly down the road. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who is looking for new furniture.

I had an overall excellent experience. Due to a shipping issue with my order on its way to their warehouse, I found a piece was missing when setting up my frame that evening after I picked it up. I called the store, and they were extremely apologetic and accommodating offering to bring the piece out the following day once the warehouse was open again. They even offered to finish setting things up if I wanted even when I hadn’t originally paid for that service. Meggie was the person who addressed the issue, and her customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced. I was very impressed and appreciative. Thanks!

Had a mattress for less than 2 years when the springs started going out. It has a ten year warranty and because it has a slight stain, one I could get out easily, they refuse to do the warranty. I 100% DO NOT recommend buying Anything from this company. I will make sure everyone I know understands the absurdity this is. If I could upload a picture of this I would. The thing is in good shape, just the slight discoloration. I’m livid from spending so much on a mattress and expecting a warranty and it’s not a true warranty.

There was a mixup when ordering our wall hugger recliner, and we picked up and received the wrong one. I called the store, and they had a delivery driver on the way within 10 minutes with the right chair. We live almost an hour away, so it was much appreciated. We bought a bed and mattress because we bough quality furniture there in the past. When buying the mattress, they informed us that in order to have the warranty on the mattress (Pure), we had to include a protector. (makes sense) So they added a $300 Bedgear Performance + protector that they have in the store to the list. After sleeping on it for a week, we noticed that the protector caused the fitted sheet to slide off the corners and was very uncomfortable to sleep on. (feels very plastic, like sleeping on a tarp covered with a sheet). After contacting them about this, they told us that the protector was a customer object and cannot be returned nor refunded. (the total price we paid was over $6000) Now we are stuck with a $300 protector that is worthless to us. If you plan on buying a bed and mattress their, just get the 2 things and look for a protector online because they are a lot cheaper ($50) and more comfortable to sleep on and it covers the warranty of the mattress. (something they neglect to mention so they can sell their overpriced Bedgear Performance + protector) Very disappointed with this store now.

I bought an electric recliner from Ashley’s not even a year ago today and it won’t recline anymore. Since it had been less than a year since we got the chair, Ashley’s agreed to fix it. I called to see what could be done about this and was told they could order a part (they weren’t even sure that this was the right part to fix the recliner). The lady that I was speaking to could not give me an estimated time of arrival of the part. She said, and I quote “it could take 5 days or up to 3 weeks or just weeks in general for the part to come in.” When I asked if this is all that could be done, the manager of the store was very unhelpful and gave me no other option than to “wait on the part.” I am very disappointed with this customer care and have spent quite a large sum at Ashley’s over the years. I won’t make that mistake again. Do better.

I rather enjoy giving great reviews! Me and my husband visited multiple furniture stores in the tristate area looking for a california king bedroom suit. Very hard to find! We were tired of looking but we decided to visit Ashley store in Evansville 2hrs away from our home in Kentucky. We were greeted by Nicole Becker at the entrance. First and foremost, I am asking Ashley furniture store to give Nicole a bonus and a raise! She is extremely knowledgeable about the furniture sold at Ashley. I was shocked at this little ladies knowledge of all things Ashley! She took the time to listen and hear us. What I mean by this is that she didn't try to sell us something we didn't want. Although we went looking for bedroom furniture, we bought both a bedroom and leather living room suit. We were shown several sets by Nicole and we found exactly what we wanted. We went through the financing options, 12mos no interest! That works for us and our humble income. We received a call to schedule our delivery for Thursday 23 May 24. Thursday morning we received a call informing us that our furniture was on the way with an eta of 1.5 hours. The drivers arrived 5 minutes early which was awesome! They were professional, considerate and very helpful. They set everything up, exactly where we wanted. Its beautiful! Well folks, the store is full of furniture, beautiful furniture! The experience was a great one! I highly recommend this business!!! Honest reviewer 1. Plenty of parking 2. Clean store and clean bathrooms. 3. Handicap parking and access to bldg. 4. I'm a first-time homebuyer so I was skeptical and fearful about the process of shopping, choosing and finally getting delivery of the furniture. Was immediately greeted, and I personally felt rushed by an employee, which made me feel uncomfortable. I said I just wanted to look, I was there to look for a mattress. I walked around for several minutes, looking I was having a little trouble finding what I wanted. I noticed 3 male employees sitting not far from the entrance doing nothing, and one looked at my direction a couple times and did nothing. The time I was in there no one approached me to ask me if I needed help. Most likely will not be back.
Really disappointed in the delivery team who “put together” my table and chairs. Completely ignored missing and loose screws on the chair legs making them unusable and causing one of the legs to buckle and collapse when the chair was sat in. A painful way to learn that I should have better supervised their efforts. They didn’t bolt down the table top at all making it hazardous to me and my daughter if someone leans on the table But at least they cleaned up - sort of, they left the the packing material on the drawers none of the missing parts were anywhere for me to even be able to fix their mistakes. Will not pay for delivery again from a place that does such poor work and dares to charge for assembly.

The sales team we worked with was wonderful. However the quality of the furniture was terrible. We spent over 10k and our dresser was shipped broken. It took months to fix and they just wood glued it then a few weeks later the frame on the couch busted. The service manager Wayne was rude and of zero help. Do not recommend.

My experience was awesome. I browsed online first, then called the store to see if they had an item I was interested in, and spoke with Lauren in sales. We were told we had 30 days to return a recliner sofa if it didn’t meet our expectations (Ashley Furniture website also states 30 day returns) needless to say 30 day return policy is not being honored and we are stuck with what has to be the most overpriced uncomfortable sofa ever made. In addition I called to see if there is anything that can be done to make the cushions not be askew I was told service department would call me back and still haven’t heard from them… poor quality furniture along with deceptive sells practices makes for a bad experience with Ashley Furniture Evansville, Indiana..

We went in Ashley to just look and price a new mattress. Maggie Mae greeted us and took us back, she determined our pressure points by laying on a diagnostic mattress and then guided us to the mattresses which would best serve our purpose. We tried four different mattresses with benefits for our needs at different price points and then, after showing us the benefits, decided we needed an adjustable base (which we never knew we needed but we now can't wait to get). She was very knowledgeable and patient - never pushy at all, and she answered all of our questions. We had a wonderful experience and are very pleased with our service, our purchase and with Maggie Mae.
Great customer service, decent design of the furniture. I got a 3 part sectional, recliner on one end, storage console in middle and a reclining chaise on the other end. Love the design and fabric, but the quality sucks. I can feel every bar in the backrest on both sides, which really causes issues with my back, and the chaise, when it leans back feels crooked, like the angle is skewed. I've tried using pillows behind my back, but it isn't helping. Just makes my neck hurt. Now after paying a LOT of money for this, I have to go buy something else. I guess it's what I get for ordering something from a catalog and not testing it first, and buying name brand things at ridiculous prices. Never again.

I had the pleasure of working with Kat. When I entered the store she was very friendly and directed me to what I was looking for. She was good at understanding what I was looking for , but also asking why I was looking. I had a very tight time frame of when I needed the items and she helped me narrow down what could reasonably be delivered in my timeframe. She followed up via text on the status of my items and let me know they would be coming in early. She definitely understands that building relationships with people are more important than the “what” you sell. Her mindset is what will make people return every time they need new furniture.

When I came into the store I was promptly greeted but an associate by the name of Kat. She directed me to the bedroom suites which I was looking for. She then allowed me to patiently look at several different ones. She was prompt in assisting me with any questions I had. I left that day with out purchasing . She gave me her card and assured me she would be available for any questions I may have. The next day I went back and purchased the bedroom suite that I had decided on. I walked in at 5:30pm on Labor Day Monday and Kat greeted me assisted me with my purchase and I walked out a very happy customer before 6:00pm. Very pleased with the attention I received.

I went to Ashley furniture in Evansville in search of an accent piece that would fit in our new living room remodel project! An associate named Lauren greeted us and showed us a few pieces throughout the store. We weren't able to locate exactly what we needed in store. Once she had an idea of the style we were searching for, she then searched online for a couple of other models that she knew she had available just not on the floor. We found the perfect fit! It was on sale too! She got us the best deal and gave us her direct line to reach out with any concerns we might have down the road. Wonderful customer service!! Would highly recommend.
The sales experience was excellent. The delivery process was very flawed. While the delivery was made by polite young men, the first trip to deliver was made with one entire section of our couch missing, another section had scuffed leather, and our two twin mattresses that were intended to be a split king bed were not a matching pair as we ordered. Everyone was happy to help us resolve these issues: the correct mattress was to be ordered, a replacement back was ordered to replace the damaged one, and the missing piece of the couch was to be delivered. One week later we did receive the missing couch piece, but it was delivered with two small cuts on the back. My husband didn’t look for damage, and I wasn’t home to check myself, so I am hoping they will stand behind this damaged delivery and order yet another back to replace the damaged one brought to us in this delivery. We are still waiting on the correct mattress and 1st promised replacement back. Very frustrating!

I purchased a sectional online. It was deliveredby Ashley on 4/5. On 4/22 one of the recliners wouldn't close. After investigating I found a bar bent. I contacted online about returning it. I was told because it wasn't a direct ship to my house I had to go through the store to return it. I contacted the store they said I had to go through online after 6 days of being pushed back and forth I was denied being able to return or switch the sectional for a different couch because the 30 day return policy only applied to direct shipments to the house.

I would never set foot back in this store. If you want buy overpriced furniture just because they offer 60 months interest free, then be my guest. We was at the Evansville, IN store and was pricing a temperpedic mattress and adjustable bed. Got a quote for $7,999.00. The salesman Frank was a little pushy too. We left because we are still looking. My husband gets online and prices the same exact thing for $5,000.00 with free shipping thru the temperpedic website. Buyers beware!!!

Due to a fall on the ice and a trip to the trauma center , I was in need of a reasonably priced recliner that would become my husbands bed for at least the next month. Due to limited funds the gal that helped me in the store was able to find one that would fit in my budget! Ashley Furniture is the only store out of the 5 others I went to that did their best to help me out ! I would have given this a 5 star ⭐️ however the bix the recliner came in would not fit in my car , we took the pieces out of the box so they would fit into my car … as soon as the box was open you could visually see a rip in the fabric! Hence the reason for only 4 stars ! I was in a precarious situation so I did not complain, once the chair is put together the top of the recliner hides the rear on the bottom ! I was very appreciative for the customer help I received and have zero complaints on their service ! Unfortunately I am filling this out as I am sitting in the trauma unit with my bus and I have no photos to share .

If I could give this place a 0 rating, I would. I bought a $700 vanity from this place, they told me that it would be delivered within 2-4 weeks. Not only did it take over 2 months to be delivered but the vanity was all scratched up. Along with this, the drawers were made out of CARDBOARD….. I was speachless to see how their furniture is not only expressive but also made out of plastic and cardboard for $700. I warn you, do not buy their furniture. The only thing they have good for their business is the brand name “Purple Mattresses.”

Worst experience ever!! Salesperson ordered the wrong merchandise and two managers, Meggie and Adam both informed me that I would have to pay an additional amount to get the correct merchandise. Then they also informed me I would have to pay an additional delivery fee. The store manager called to let me know that my correct merchandise wouldn’t be in for 2 additional weeks and confirmed a delivery date. On the day of delivery, Erika calls to let me know that my delivery won’t be for an additional week. I inform her of my conversation with Adam and her response was, “ there was no such arrangement.” Therefore calling me a liar after refusing to let me speak. I called corporate and this store isn’t affiliated with Ashley Home Store and this is why they are able to treat customers so poorly. Worst customer experience ever from 3 different managers!!! Would definitely say NOT to shop here unless you want to be lied to, yelled at, and treated with the most disrespect. On a side note, if you ask to speak with the manager, Adam, you will be lied to stating he isn’t in the building, however he is just hiding out in the office.
I like the furniture selection, that is why I conti ue to come back. However, the staff needs a lesson in salesmanship and just an overall attitude adjustment. I felt like I was being presdured to wrap it up with my decisions and get out of the store before closing. The dinner bell was ringing I guess. The finance staff always act like they are doing you a huge favor. No grattitude or pleasantness whatsoever. Especially from the one who resembles stripe from the Gremlins. Let that one go to bolster your finance department.

Shopping for recliners and absolutely dreading going to yet another store. Let me tell you, this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Sam was awesome. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes and bought 2 recliners. Highly recommend Ashley Store and Sam. Definitely will be a repeat customer.
Service was awesome. Furniture is beautiful and got to purchase for 60 months no interest which you can pay off at any time. Only bad thing is you have to wait 6 to 9 weeks to get your furniture

We came in at last minute just signing on our house. We came from 2 states away. And only brought what we could fit on ond small trailer. Box springs and frame. We explained to Mark what we were looking for and price range, and in just minutes we were pulling around back to the warehouse, ( it was past their time to go home) and we were loaded and on our way. Price point was perfect, as this will be our bed for the second guest bedroom. And only used once in a while. But tonight we will sleep in comfort. Thanks Alan and Amanda Beers

Ashley Furniture is TERRIBLE! I purchased a couch in November 2021. I know there is a wait time, nbd. I ordered an electric chaise on one end and an electric recliner on the other. Fast forward to June 2022, 7months later, we finally get the couch delivered. Unfortunately, the end recliner is not electric. So they take it back and order a new one. And explain that the sales person ordered it wrong and even though it was their fault, they will be charging me. The manager did say they would only charge me half because it was the sales persons fault. However, when I checked my statement, they charged the FULL amount! So dealing with a bunch of LIARS! So moving on, a month later they bring the new electric piece and attach it and leave. A couple days later, we realize that piece is broken. So I have to call Ashley AGAIN! Turns out it is a broken mechanism so they will have to order that piece. Another month later, now being august, I finally have a working couch! I’m just very frustrated at how awful this experience has been! Would not recommend to anyone! Go somewhere else to get furniture!!!!

I visited the store and Ashley was the sales associate we spoke with. She talked to us about our options. Weeks later I called to order the furniture and she was super helpful and friendly and made she we got a good deal and we're taken care of!
Probably the worst and best experience shopping for a couch I’ve ever had. I don’t like sales floor people because they usually seem pushy, so I reserved to shop online and found a sectional for my home that I liked. Ordered and was given a delivery date within five weeks. No problem. Then, two weeks later I received an email that Ashley canceled the order. No reason given, just an email. I called and was on the phone with Ashley furniture a total of 45 minutes, transferred there times and placed on hold numerous times just to find out they don’t know why it was cancelled. Given another number to the manufacturer line or something. Called that and again spent 25 minutes to no avail. No couch. No reason. I was beyond frustrated. Then came resolution.. The store called me directly, Quinn, and explained the error making the order himself over the phone. I’m still weary of sales floor people but I can’t say enough about the ending!

We went in to browse for a specific piece of furniture. We were greeted by Quinn Legler. He was extremely professional and was not “pushy” at all. Not only did we find what we were looking for, he educated us on the furnitures fullest potential. We then purchased a sectional, love seat and 3 end tables and a fireplace insert for the hutch. This has been the most enjoyable experience we have had purchasing furniture we have ever had.

Very happy with service. They had enough inventory to make my head spin. They were up front on supply chain ,how long it would be to ship. And my things are being shipped to my house, unloaded into my house and put together. I went to another furniture store and was approved for a loan , but then was told they only had 1 of the six bedroom suits They had on display and if I wanted to order the 1 I wanted it would be half down (1000.00$), and would be at least 10 weeks my money would be tied up waiting on the furniture and they would refund 1000.00$ and then finance the total cost of the bedroom suit. Ashley let me know they ship every thing 2 my door. 4 weeks , went ahead and finance me and the cost was better than the other store.and nicer furniture .10 times the selection. Great doing business with Ashley furniture.
I am so thoroughly satisfied with my visit today. Kim waited on me and she was the most helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and personable staff member. Ive been waiting since november for a coffee table they made me buy in full & now theyre saying it wont be here until may. That would be fine, if they wouldve called me themselves and communicated with me whatsoever about any of this. Ive had to call every time. Overpriced furniture, bad business. If i could give 0 stars i would. Steve, the least you could do is reach out to your customers or return a phone call when you say you will! Ill be calling daily until i receive my full refund.

Her demonstration of the purple mattress answered a lot of our questions and concerns and we were able to make a quick decision based off of her experience. The sample mattress with a special glass represented different body weights and showed how it supported us. Very out going and caring. Not someone who seemed like she wanted us out. Will be back. She made the whole process easy. Little did I know my parents were there that day and bought a couch from there as well. It's a really nice store. We will be asking for her next time

You push warranty to a pressure but I can see why, you have a plaque on the counter top salesman for selling warranties, but I guess it's all about the money

In fact, we will be going back next week to order an island for the kitchen. By the way, the TV is going on a dresser.
Spent $8000 worth of furniture waited 8 months for it. For them to send 3 right arms for our sectional! Missing center piece. Got charged delivery fee even tho we picked it up! We did in fact get that money back. But now me and my husband will have to rent another Uhaul to pick up the right pieces if they even have it in stock. I am so disappointed in this place we also had a dresser that was damaged. Ashley furniture you need to focus on customer satisfaction and the quality you send your products this was not worth the headache or the money spent.

The sales manager and sales associate went above and beyond to make my purchase a pleasant experience. Jessica, the sales associate, listened to my needs and found me the best deal and took a lot of time to ensure my experience was pleasant. The sales manager handled a very unusual situation that happened on my Ashley furniture account and went above and beyond to make sure I could make purchases even though there was fraud Luke the charges made on my account. The experience was one of the best and most pleasant I have had.
Never sent my bill to be processed and never called to say there was an issue with billing. Waited months for delivery was told likely due to COVID. Never delivered on scheduled delivery day only to find out they needed to submit billing and had my order waiting.
Each and every staff member treated us like royalty. Staff are VERY knowledgeable about their products.

Multiple topics: 1. I have purchased a headboard via online. It arrived fairly quickly and persistent on the estimate timeframe. I was disappointed it did come broken into two pieces. It was repackaged in the wrong box and almost as if another customer had returned it and the store accidentally sent it to resell it. I immediately called the 866 customer service number. I sent photos upon request, and April Holton from CS was quick to apologize and solve the issue. My new replacement headboard will be out sometime this next week. Thank you, April! (: 2. I stopped in -person on Labor Day afternoon, while the store was busy. It was very clean and inviting. I was immediately welcomed without being overbearing. I was offered help when needed. I did have a few questions, Mike Wheatley was wonderful the entire experience within the store. I came in for some bar stools I saw online, and Mike pulled out the tape measure to confirm the height I will need for the counter. Although the items I had ideally wanted was the wrong size, I found a similar one from the same collection I liked as well. Mike went above and beyond as they won’t be available for pickup for another month. They are on sale for Labor Day so I’m strongly considering purchasing them. Mike pulled up all the bar stool sku books for me for what was currently in stock to help me better. I am a manager within a retail store and I would definitely recommend Mike to any guests. Between Mike and April, I feel comfortable knowing I will be taken care of at Ashley Furniture. I will probably end up purchasing the chairs online this evening so I can get the Labor Day sale. Went there with a friend to pick up furniture he had ordered 2 months prior. Service was very bad didnt have his order right. The people were nice, but the actual business not very good. Wouldn't buy from them myself.
Bought a sofa from Ashley 7 months ago the cushions are falling apart they would not fix it saying it was not a default on the warranty

I went in to see in I could find a living set for my home. As soon as I walked through the door there was an employee waiting there to help me. She explained all the different sets they had and asked me a few questions then said walk around and I will find you. So she did. She was checking my credit. I found what I wanted. She helped me with all the paperwork work to see if I could get a 10 percent discount by getting a credit card I said yes. I was so pleased and excited about my order. Love why they have. But I bought one side table and a coffee table. My said table came first still waiting on my coffee table. It said it would ship out on the 9th of this month and still has not shipped. So I have had my side table for two weeks without the matching coffee table. Not only that but when I call the number to ask them about it they hang up on me every time. And the website won’t work half the time. I will not be buying from them again.

Dont believe the sales people when they tell you it should be delivered in a couple weeks. 3 Months and climbing. Get the run around every time we call and each call just results in the delivery date being pushed back another month.

This was by far the worst experience EVER!! I order a bedroom set In February and Ive been told it would be delivered at the beginning of May and then the end! I finally got noticed it we delivered mid June on a Saturday between 1-5! After waiting all day I finally received a call @ 530 saying that they would be there at 630 something happened, They finally showed up at 815 at night and my headboard was broken so they couldn’t put it together. They told me that it would be fixed and re-delivered no later than Tuesday. It’s Tuesday and I had to call them and was then told it couldn’t be repaired and had to wait for a new one which wouldn’t be in until Friday! On top of all this the sales rep didn’t even put the order in for our nightstand so now I have to wait for it to come in as well. I wanted to cancel but I’ve bought so many things for my room that go with this particular bedroom set!!! I would never recommend this place!!!!

Customer service was great but other than that the experience has been awful. Ordered a sectional that I have been waiting for since early March. Was originally told 4-6 weeks which I was fine with but now everytime I call for an Eta I get an extra month longer. The only explanation I get is that they don't know until its on the truck! For such an expensive well known place this is rediculous.
Justin at the Evansville store was so helpful! We were looking to get a sectional for our living room, but was unsure of how big a sectional we could do. We showed him some pictures and videos, and told him what we have currently. He showed us several options and was so patient as we figured out what we liked best. He wasn’t too pushy, but was still present. I’m so excited to get our new sectional and appreciate the time and effort he put in to take care of us.

Very slow on getting our sectional. Was told couple months when bought it. Called couple times check and always different dates. Now we been in our new home for a month no living room set. Now being told end of june or July. Wish would of went else where. Should of gave us display if they can't get on time. Been buying here for 4 years last time me and my fiancee will buy again.

We've bought from Ashley before and had good experiences, but this was by far the best! When we walked in just to browse and ended up buying stuff we were NOT expecting such crazy COVID related delays! I called up my salesperson Carol Wiedemann, livid. It wasn't that there were delays, I can be understanding about that, its that the comfy chair I had ordered had been sitting in the warehouse for upwards of 2 months while pretty much my whole order waited on my headboard----a piece of wood---and that during that time, my bed had gone on sale. Not only was Carol excellent at de-escalating my rising anger and the tense situation. She also managed to make me walk away completely satisfied with the compromise we made and also she kept my sale. What a wonderful salesperson! The customer service and product at the store are second to none!

Shelbi Samsil was the sales associate who helped us while we visited Ashley in Evansville. She was great! She let us know that she was there if we needed help but did not smother us. That is the one thing we don’t like about furniture places with sales associates, they tend to hover and it is uncomfortable. But Shelbi gave us our space but did check on us periodically to make sure we were doing okay or needed help. She was a big help with our questions. We purchased a new living room set and she made the process painless! If we decide to buy more furniture from Ashley we would definitely drive from Owensboro to Evansville to have Shelbi help us with our purchase. This was my first time purchasing a large furniture piece from Ashley personally, I have received a furniture piece from Ashley as a gift in the past and is a great piece which in turn lead me to look at Ashley Homestore as an option for purchasing a new couch. Found one I liked online and decided to try to find it in store. Lauren helped me find the one I was looking for, showed me the price was actually lower in store than online, discussed all my buying options and even made sure I knew exactly when the sale ended so I wouldn't miss out on a good deal. She made herself available in case I needed any help, which was nice. She was even able to knock off some money on the delivery fee! Needless to say Ashley Homestore is always my first place to go to for great quality home furniture and great deals.

We have been on the hunt for 5 months for the perfect bedframe/headboard for my master bedroom. After looking online and in several different furniture stores, we thankfully stumbled into the Ashley store in Evansville, Indiana. We were greeted by Maggie who listened to what we wanted and then let us browse on our own without being to pushy. Maggie gave us our space but was close by for any questions. We quickly found the best bedframe to bring comfort and style into our home. My husband and I were very impressed with the set up and design of the store and even purchased 2 nightstands to go with it as well. We are looking to build our home in the next few years and hope to visit Maggie again to furnish our new home. I highly recommend this store and especially this sales associate!

Their employees seemed to be very knowledgable and personable. My wife Robin and I went in looking for a mattress. They gave us a pressure test, by laying us down on this modified mattress that showed our pressure points. This gave them an idea of where to start. We tried several mattresses and eventually bought the first one that they recommended. We bought the mattres and Robin found two sofas that she just couldn't live without also... yay.🤣 Anyway, great selection and service.

I would say we did extremely well with this place. The person who initially helps us out was Adam. He gave us all the information we were looking for and gave us a great deal. But after he gave us all the info, we searched all the surrounding mattress places and couldn't find a place that gave us a better price for the same bed. The staff was helpful and friendly, and it never felt to be pushy. Highly recommended!

Bought a dinning room set. Took it home only to find it damaged. Found it terribly annoying to disassemble dinning table to take back instead of them delivering a proper table. Then they forgot to give me the hardware so..... another 20 mile trip to get what they forgot. Prices not really great after sales spill. Once looming stuff but not really handled great in warehouse

Maggie Mae was fantastic! I knew exactly what I wanted when I walked in the store. She lead me right to it & I didn't like it. She showed me similar items. I ended up with my original couch I came in looking at. She took me, my daughter, and mom all over the store. Helped me measure, talked to my daughter & offered wonderful knowledge. I asked if they priced matched and she helped me with that. My only issue with the experience was the magnaer Jan. She was rude and snipity. Apparently they had some changes and the managers were showing it. The way she spoke to Maggie Mae was unprofessional. I personally appointed Maggie for causing havoc. I wish the manager would have handled the issue in a more private manor verse out in public with other staff and customers.

We went in to look at a new sofa and love seat on December 30th. Steve came over and assisted us. We told him what we were wanting...(no leather, pillow like arm rests, and something that didn't feel or look like leather) he showed us several options, never was pushy or showing us stuff more than once that we already said we didn't like. We informed him that we would like to go think about it and would be purchasing but it would be something we want to discuss. We we went to other places and non of them really had what we wanted. We returned and Steve and the other employees of Ashley helped us get what we wanted. Thanks Steve.

I would give them zero stars if possible! It was my first and last time of ever purchasing anything from this place! What was supposed to take two months to deliver a sectional for family member it took them four, this was after I told them to just cancel the order after two months had past and they still didn’t have the sectional as promised. But they didn’t cancel it, then lied about me ever saying I wanted it canceled. I paid extra for it to be delivered to my family member which was supposed to be them pulling the sectional off the truck in boxes and setting it up. It came already Assembled no plastic covering on it or anything! The people who delivered it did not have on face masks nor use any sort of precautions during a pandemic. When I called and confronted them about it they just told more lies! They do nothing but lie, or as they call it, “ Miscommunication “ Save your money and go where they care and put their customers safety and needs first, because it’s definitely not this place!

She even helped with measuring. I went back the next day, and had her help me after I narrowed my selection down. We came to/found the best deal and selection. Great service, and great product. Looking forward to the delivery. Even with Covid, not too long of a wait.

I couldn't have found a store (Evansville, Indiana) with a nicer group of employees!! Patient, accommodating, informative, helpful, and pleasant. It was stressful trying to figure out what I wanted and my sales rep was wonderful, including a manager who was helping (Saturday after Thanksgiving). When I discovered my items were a lower price online they immediately adjusted my account, with a smile. Their selections are amazing and plentiful. Sales people were even friendly when they knew you were being helped by someone else. The real test will be how they react should a problem arise. For now, I will never shop for my home furniture (and some of the decor/ accents) anywhere else! You may not find what fits your needs (doubtful) but guarantee you won't regret your experience. They truly go above and beyond.

We ordered in July of 2020 they said it would be mid December now “approximately” we were told September at the latest when we ordered. We have NO furniture!! They didn’t even call to tell us, when the date they gave us passed (sept 16th) and we hadn’t heard from them they told us it would now be mid October, then that passed. No call from them again, I called them and now it’s mid December. Honestly they have been very unprofessional and now I’m wishing we had gone somewhere else so that we would at least have some furniture in our house. Edit 2: The bed broke while we were sleeping after a month of use. We got ahold and of the store and they said the only thing they could do is send us part for US to fix it ourselves. We’ve been waiting a year for the parts now. It’s now January of 2022 and we’ve been dealing with Ashley homestore about our bed since July of 2020!! The bed is junk and the customer service is horrible. Spending 5,000$ here for our furniture for our new house was the worst financial decision I’ve personally ever made, and I say that with absolute and complete honesty. I highly highly recommend you go somewhere else for your furniture. If I had gone somewhere else I wouldn’t have 8 cinder blocks under my bed just to keep it falling out underneath us again.

My husband and I went in to find a new kitchen table. Aaron was our salesperson and he was awesome! He was knowledgable of the selection and showed us a different options to match the style, size, and budget that we were wanting, but was very accommodating and he wasn't pushy or trying to up-sell us. Not only did we have a good shopping experience, but the table we found was perfect for us because it was expandable so it fit in our current smaller house but it was expandable for the future. You can’t teach someone to be that kind, personable and helpful. If you come to this store, ask for her and you won’t be disappointed. I’ve had nothing but amazing service with this store. A+
As much as I did like the selections from the store and the staff are very helpful. I do not suggest getting Carol as your salesperson. She showed us an amazing couch, an ash color, that was on display in same. We asked for that specific couch and were assured that we were ordering that one. Well apparently they like doing false advertising and will sell you something completely different. I trusted her and thought that we were getting what we looked at but of course you can't trust anyone anymore. I didn't see on the recipe that it was a different color than the one we saw even though that wasn't the one on display and it wasn't the one we asked for. Then they say that they can help me the next day just to say "Oh since it's in your house we can't do anything about it". Worst experience ever that's for sure. Will we buy from there, yeah possible, but still a horrible experience.

My younger sister just moved in with her boyfriend and they went in to buy a bed together. Even though they had a very flexible budget they told Aaron they didn’t want to go over a certain price. They found a bed they loved and was in their price range. After checking out they looked at their bank account they saw that they were charged way above what was agreed on. Aaron put many charges on there without their consent and did not tell them anything and took advantage of their age to get more money out of them.

Walked in the Ashley store in Evansville, IN yesterday evening and was immediately greeted by Quinn! Quinn was very pleasant, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the store and every item IN the store! My husband and I purchased a bedroom suite, mattress and more. I am pretty sure if he had offered some oceanfront property in Utah we would’ve purchased that, as well, as the shopping experience with Quinn was great! We will be back to purchase more furniture pieces soon, I can assure you of that, and I will call ahead to make sure Quinn will be there to assist us!

As soon as she realized my son needed to read her lips to understand what she was saying she backed up more than 6 feet and lowered her mask so he could understand her. They were very accommodating, when we had questions they went out of way to help us, when we were tired and just wanted finish, they did all they could to help us. We noticed they had mostly long term employees which tells me owner takes care of them, thus they took care of us.
Quinn was an amazing! I was shopping for specific furniture that would make my recovery from hip surgery easier. He was very accommodating, even with my 6 year old. I was walking with a cane and he offered several times to get a wheelchair to assist me. He was not pushy and did not try to pressure me to purchase on the spot. I came back the next day and he helped me make my final decision. Quinn and Ashley furniture will always have my business.

We recently shopped at Ashley Furniture with Maggie. After a not-so-great experience at another furniture store, Maggie was incredibly understanding and helpful. When we explained to her what we were looking for, she was able to take us directly to the areas within the store that had options for us! Then, she’d give us time and space to browse privately at our leisure. It was a seamless furniture shopping experience. They’ve also assured us that should anything change regarding the delivery of our pieces that they will maintain contact with us to keep us updated! As long as we receive our items on time (or even if delayed with communication) I will definitely update the review to 5 stars!!

Went here for mattress, chose one paid for it and made arrangements to pick up next day. Got rid of old bed and got there to pick up and it wasnt there. Had to be ordered and wouldn't be in for week. The salesman and his manager went over and beyond to correct the situation and I left with a fabulous bed and had the best night sleep. Ordered online due to the store being closed a couple weeks ago. The final pricing is very confusing, as it changes when you're about to check out. I ordered a king bed, slats and mattress in a box. Slats came first. Bed was delivered today. The truck drove through our yard and the guys setting up the bed said the slats would not work with that bed. I chose the slats because the foundation we last purchased there was literally made of press board and cardboard and was destroyed within moments of set up. Now I have to send back the slats, as the store says they cannot help with online purchases. Long story short, very disappointed and still don't have a complete bed. The mattress was supposed to be with the bed today but the delivery guys said it wasn't on the truck. Simple customer service could have taken care of all that has gone wrong. Very dissatisfied.
Simply put, Ayres is the BEST! We have bought our Furniture from this Ashley location for many years and today we had the pleasure of working with Ayres. He was a delight! He was very professional, personable and just all around wonderful. We will definitely be back to work with him again!
Worked with Sam. We had a great experience and Sam was very knowledgeable. Showed us several options and answered all of our questions honestly. Was not pushy, and made no attempt to strong arm us into a quick decision. He actually suggested a cheaper option for us with our home situation, and since they work on commission, I really appreciated his approach. Very nice selection in store. This review is for our time inside the store picking out our living room furniture and Not for the furniture itself or the delivery process. To start with it takes me a very long time to make decisions on furniture with the many options to pick from. That being said we greatly appreciated that our sales rep, Shelbi, was not pushy and frequently walked away to give us time to sit/lay and discuss what we thought about it. She never seemed frustrated about me asking several questions and still not having made a decision. We were there at least 2 hours if not longer and finally decided which couch, love seat and bookcase to purchase. Of course my spouse is a sleep-on-it kind of person soo told Shelbi I’d come by after work the next day to finalize. I asked if she would be there and she said, “I can be”. Come to find out it was her day off but she was adamant she didn’t mind coming in on her day off saying, “I have nothing else planned anyway LOL“. By the time I made it to the store after work she had almost all the paperwork done. I think I was in the store for a total of 10 minutes and half of that was just waiting for a cashier to be available to take my payment. Although the other sales reps we came in contact with were very nice, we will definitely always ask for Shelbi when we come back in to Ashley‘s. Thanks again Shelbi, you are awesome!!!

We bought 2 couches, they were very low on padding. Hurt my legs everytime I lay on the recliner love sit. Different quality for the ones on display.
Me and my husband bought a mattress and frame from them about a month which we have absolutely fell in love with. We even looked around at a few other stores bc we decided there was no bed like it. Plus it helped with the sale person who helped us Zachary was his name I believe, he wasn’t pushy and knew exactly where to direct us for what we wanted!

Really upset about a Mattress my husband bought from here. 1st one they came back and picked up after only 2 months, looked like someone is still in the bed when you get up. Ok, might of just got a default. Had to wait 2 weeks to get another one in, mind you, I have severe neck and back trouble, now have 2nd one it's been about 2 weeks, already feeling springs poking into my side. I am not happy. Going to call them..I will post what comes of it. Going through another health scare of being sent to Vanderbuilt hospital soon, possibly Carcinoid Syndrome and with very low income on Soc. Sec I hope getting it changed out to something I can sleep on.

Ashley Furniture did a great job helping us. Our sales associate, Quinn, was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. However, our furniture turned out to be very low quality and when we went in to see about returning it, it was a whole different story. Associates were rude and condescending. They advised us to read the small print - THERE ARE NO RETURNS EVER FOR ANY REASON. I will never, ever, buy anything form Ashley Furniture again and I tell everyone I know that is even thnking about shopping there not to go. Once home and the shock wore off, we googled it and there are pages of stories just liek ours. I wish I had doe that BEFORE we went there to shop.

I came into the store with my daughter a few months ago to help her look for ideas to furnish her home. This was her first home, and her first major purchase, so I wanted to make sure she didn't get taken advantage of. We were greeted by Zach, who showed us how to read the tags and what the finance options were. He wasn't pushy at ALL and answered all the questions we had. He came out to my daughter's home to take professional measurements to make sure the sectional would fit as well. We made multiple changes before everything was said and done and we didn't once feel rushed. After a few months of back and forth, we got everything situated and ordered. I am extremely pleased with our salesman and the entire company as a whole. If you're looking to furnish a home, at a store with great prices, Ashley's is the place you need to be.

Spent $3,000 on a mattress that I was led to believe could be returned after 20 to 30 day trial period if I didn’t like it. It can be returned but no money back and only exchanged for another of equal or lesser value. So if I find a $1,500 mattress that is comfortable I still will owe $3,000. Of course if I wanted to spend more money on a better mattress I could. Once they get your money that’s it! I’ll never spend another dime at this overpriced store again.

The lady who waited on me asked if I was up for oral... said she'd give me a discount. This happened in front of my wife. Not cool! She was ugly too. They delivered our furniture and it was the wrong thing. Then they charged my credit card for two delivery fees... still working that out. Certainly wont go back unless I get a divorce and feel down on my luck and want a one nighter with an ugly chick!

Warehouse service very disappointing. Lack of follow through repairing a chair even after contacting corporate. Warehouse replaced leather piece after corporate contacts them but not when I made a complaint. It's been 6 months and warehouse has not contacted us and finish the repair.
Spend over $2k on a couch... they schedule it for delivery and tell us one time... then call and say another time... and then close and we have to rely on the app to tell that our original 11-3 delivery will arrive at 8pm. Glad I paid all that money for delivery... last purchase from Ashley

Frank was super helpful when helping my wife and I look for a new mattress. We knew we wanted a Tempur-Pedic and he gave us a lot of information without being too pushy. We could feel he cared more about us being happy than making a sale. Maggie was also amazing at helping my wife decide which option to choose, explaining all of the complicated policies, and helping us understand how everything works. She really knew what she was talking about and spent a lot of time with us making sure we got the perfect set up. She also made us feel comfortable with knowing if we end up unhappy with anything she will go to bat for us to make things right, since this is such a large purchase. We are very satisfied with our experience here, and would highly recommend this location for furniture/bedding needs!

A salesman named Brennen helped me and he was great. I was a little worried before I walked in but Brennen went above and beyond to take away my apprehensions. I am now waiting for the arrival of a new recliner.

My fiancé and I loved our experience at Ashley’s. Daniel was awesome. The first time we went in the store, he was respectful about letting us look around. We really just wanted to browse their selection. We found a bedroom set that we loved, and honestly we took a picture of the prices to be able to find it cheaper. We called around multiple places to see if they had it any less expensive, and Ashley’s was the best price. We went back in on Saturday evening, and we really spent a lot of time with Daniel talking about the warranty & quality of the products. He took the time to compare the prices of the pieces with what was online. We loved that about him because he really wanted us to have the best deal. We needed some time to think, and we scheduled an appointment again for Monday to purchase our furniture. Daniel came in on his day off, and helped us put the finishing touches on our set. We purchased our bedroom set and living room furniture that evening. We highly recommend Ashley’s furniture! We will be back!!

Was not called to set up delivery that I paid for!!! Was told that the salesman didn’t tell them to call and setup delivery!!! Receipt clearly states that I paid for delivery and someone would call to set up delivery!!! Not able to delivery in the time frame that the salesman said was possible!!! When delivered was not assembled correctly!!! Now I can fix it MYSELF or wait another FEW DAYS!!! AS SOON AS ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE HAS YOUR MONEY THE CUSTOMER CAN WAIT!!!!!! And NO assembly instructions so that I can do it myself!!!

We originally met Addi Jo last November 2018 when we went to Ashley's Home Store to look at beds, we purchased a nice bed from her and we were very impressed with all of her knowledge of each bed and the pros and cons of them. We called to make sure she was there when we returned yesterday to look at bedroom furniture, a kitchen table and coffee and an end table, once again she made it very painless on each item and we asked many questions and she was able to answer all of them and gave us input to consider on things we had not thought about. Hands down when it comes to buying anything there at Ashley's Home Store and dealing with Addi Jo, we highly recommend her!
Sam Hart was our salesman and he was very professional what we wanted and we didn't make a decision the same day we went home to think about it and to pray about it and we came back the next day with some color samples to make sure it's what we wanted and then we decide to buy it and he helped us through the whole experience and was very pleasant and helpful

After purchasing leather living room furniture of decent quality we had issues a year later with the ripcord handles of the recliners coming loose which we were assured would not happen. After two months of going back and forth my husband finally had to go get the parts from them and fixed it himself. Now the frame of our recliner chair is broken or loose and we were informed even though it’s still under the time warranty we waited too long after it broke to file a claim. So once again we are on our own. Even though we paid over $360.00 for the extended warranty. It’s a total scam. I am just frustrated this company gets to cheat honest people.

Our sales/design consultant, was very helpful, professional and friendly. My wife and I had been looking at several other furniture stores for our new living room set, and decided to give Ashley furniture a try. From the moment we step into the location we were impressed with the layout of the store and the selection available to us. Jennifer Booth, our salesperson asked what we were looking for, our styles and a rough price range. One of the best parts of our visits was that we never felt pressured into a selection, rather Jennifer showed us several options that might suit us and we were able to piece together the living room set that fit our style and personality. By the time we were finished we had pinned down our choices except for a few minor details. We explained that our initial visit was solely to make our choices on each item, and that we would return a week or later to complete our order and pay for it. I would strongly advise my family and friends to go to Ashley Furniture and have Jennifer or another S&D consultant help them. We give Jennifer Booth the highest of endorsements.

Daniel was great. Helped us find the perfect couch and recliner for our home and style. He was patient as we zoomed all over the store trying out different styles. He had a no pressure style, answered all of our questions. We have been put off by furniture stores before but he made our experience exceptional.
A lot of things to choose from… Very clean store! However, I was supposed to be getting 6 months no interest, but they gave me 30 months with $700+ In interest charges. Then, the salesman said I wouldn’t make the first payment for 45 days after receipt of bed, instead, my payments start two weeks before delivery! Plus, back of ticket says the order can be canceled if done by midnight of the third business day.... that, also, is a lie!

Staff are patient and helpful. Upholstered sofa from Ashley has held up well (6 years now) and was a great price. The bed from them is also sturdy, but the painted finish isn’t holding up great with my dog.

I had already researchd what I wanted online but wanted to sit and touch the couch and chair I was interested in. When we arrived at the store, Heather helped us find exactly what I had been looking at. She was kind and friendly and not at all pushy. She was knowledgable and told me the features of the couch and chair I had picked out. Her customer service was top knotch. Young workforce need more Heathers. In the end I made the purchase and didnt feel like I was pressured to do so. Heather even compared purchasing my items online verses in the store to get me the better price. I will continue to do my shopping at Ashley Home Store because of my experiance.

Bought furniture here but they never told us that there were no exchanges or returns until it was too late. Once you buy it you own it. If you shop here just make sure you like it because if not you're stuck with it regardless. They are very friendly though and helpful.

Had purchased two recliners and couch from Ashley's Furniture. Paid over $2,000 for the pieces Within days after the warranty expired the material started to peel/come apart. Not a little but in thousands of tiny pieces. We knew the furniture was not real leather but passed as a good look-a-like. However, the material applied to the surface began coming off. So much in fact, we had to resort to having to cover the furniture. Ashley's checked with the manufacturer but since the warranty had expired (less than a week) there was nothing they could do. Ashley's did offer a $225.00 store credit. We will never go back to Ashley's to purchase anything. I will say the staff we dealt with was friendly. We also believe they had other problems with that type of furniture because we did not find any more in the store.

Matt Lu is the best! I came in looking for side tables, he gave me the store layout and allowed me to browse at my leisure without high pressure. Her checked on me to see if I had any questions without hovering. When I decided on what I liked and explained the room I was shopping for, he quickly was able to suggest complimentary pieces. The day was a great success as I accomplished what I set out to do! Professional attitude with just the right amount of fun personality, price matching was awesome! The folks were great here. Addie Jo did a great job helping us. She gave us the time to look around with no pressure. When she was called away, she got someone else to help us. I wish I would have gotten the other ladies name, she was great also! They answered all our questions and made our purchase painless. Prices here were just as good as the so called discount warehouses, but customer service was much better. Found just what we wanted.

Ashley Furniture take your money and don’t stand behind their furniture, I even bought the extended warranty and my sectional wasn’t even 3 months old , the sectional beaded up like an old sweater and the frame started sagging , it wasn’t because of weight either I weigh 140 lbs. Ashley Furniture has a bad reputation on there furniture, please please do your research before you purchase anything from them and pay their high prices for furniture that will fall apart within a few months after you purchase it !
If you need a good deal Frank Nixon at Ashley furniture store will set you up. Was in looking at a sectional set then he let me know the next day it went on a big sale savings us over $1300 and we did 60 months @ 0%. Protection agreement and delivery and setup. Will return for future purchases update to follow when it is delivered.

We purchased furniture in Nov of 2017 and were told Jan 2 was the latest it would arrive. After finalizing the sale and paying for delivery Jan 2 became the earliest it would arrive. Now they I am told they will not deliver on the date the furniture arrives. I feel deceived and taken advantage of I will not be shopping with their store again.
I am placing this review on Google in regards to the Ashley Furniture store in Evansville, In. The service at the store itself was decent. Our sales person helped us select our furniture. He told us it would be available in 2 and a 1/2 weeks. By the beginning of the 4th week we ended up having to call the store. The woman who answered the phone informed us that someone should have contacted us to set up an appointment for delivery. They hadn't even contacted us to set up an appointment to get our furniture yet, so by me calling I suppose that is the only reason we got an appointment! Our furniture arrived in a huge truck with Ashley furniture written very large on the side of it. 2 young men were in charge of bringing our furniture inside. They brought in one couch with no issues, when it came to the larger of the 2 couches, once they got inside I noticed that the back was broken. Before my husband even got home from work, I called him to let him know that our brand new $2000 couch was already damaged. Keep in mind that we also purchased an EXTRA warranty on these couches! He got on the phone immediately and called Ashley Furniture and they informed us that a broken couch has nothing to do with the furniture store itself and all of that fault was put on the 2 delivery men who carried our couches inside. Ashley Furniture also informed us that once it leaves their store they are no longer liable for the damage done to our couch. Which I found ironic that the "non Ashley furniture affiliated people" who delivered it, had Ashley furniture written on the side of their truck. To me it does not make sense to say you do not still guarantee your furniture once it gets into the delivery truck!? They informed us the only way to have our couch repaired was to send all of our living room furniture back which in our mind was ridiculous considering the circumstances, and also the thought of waiting another 4 to 5 weeks for it to come in seemed even more ridiculous. My husband was a little upset about this and actually mentioned something to the woman about sending all of our furniture back and we would go elsewhere. The woman on the phone who represents Ashley furniture told my husband "that's fine if that's what you want to do, we will have somebody come pick it up right away" and offered no other resolve to this problem. I would highly recommend that NOBODY go to Ashley furniture. We have found crappy service, their stuff is way overpriced for what you get, and the customer service is absolutely horrible. They are a major rip off and we will never ever if they were the last furniture store on Earth buy another thing from them again! VERY DISAPPOINTED, shame on you Ashley Furniture! If there was a NEGATIVE 5 stars, that would be an accurate rating!
They went above and beyond what they had to for me! The warehouse was closed and 2 salesman were nice enough to load it for me when they did not have to! So appreciative for that! Will absolutely come back again!

I should have done my research on bonded leather before purchasing... our salesman said numerous times that "it is far superior to real leather" and would last a lifetime. Fast forward 2 years, i know have a 3k couch thats ready to be put out by the road with a free sign on it. Nice store, misleading and extremely misinformed salespeople. "Warrenty" covers absolutley nothing!

Ashley furniture is a pretty great place to get furniture. I recently purchased a couple of bedroom sets for my children. Their ads are somewhat misleading, though and I was disappointed when I got there to hear the 'fine print.' Other than this, it's a great store.
I really like how I was greeted at the door customer service was really nice and helpful I really like the sales person that help me pick out the sofa and a rocker recliner that I purchased . Happy with the recliner we purchased. Not happy about paying for the extended warranty and being mislead regarding the store credit for no claims during the 5 year period. The sales guy said we would get a letter when the warranty expired to use the 100 bucks for a store credit. When we went to the office to finish the purchase, we were told in a rude way this was not true and "we ain't gonna call you"

I will never purchase furniture from this store again. They New furniture arrived damaged. I wanted to return it or at least exchange it. No to both. They were going to charge me $99 to send a person to try and repair it. This furniture was still in the wrapping it was shipped in. I would never recommend them. No better than thieves!

Great experience, good quality furniture from what I can tell. I was nervous at first as I’ve seen some cheap looking and feeling furniture from the big box stores but The furniture we got is heavy duty and well put together.
We bought furniture for our entire house from Ashley furniture all at once!! The first time we got most of it delivered two of the beds couldn't even be put together because the wrong pieces were sent and our chest was damaged so it never made it to us and after they put together our bed I noticed the footboard was damaged I took pictures and sent them to her as I was asked to. They came back a second time to bring the right pieces to put the 2 beds together and still 2 weeks later and no new foot board and they brought the chest at that time too and it was damaged!!! They delivery guys took pictures of the damaged footboard because apparently there wasn't any prior notes noted to the account. I sent pictures of the damaged chest and then a week later called and reminded them and she called me back and told me that they are on order and should be in within a week!!! I also mentioned to her that we weren't happy with our mattress we didn't like the memory foam and we wanted to find something different and we were told in the showroom that we had 30 days which I contacted them before our 30 days had expired the gentlemen that sold it to us said that since it was on clearance when we bought it that they can't take it back which had not been explained to us before otherwise we wouldn't have spent $3000 dollars on a mattress that we weren't sure was going to work for us!! All in all they only good thing I can say is we absolutely loved our sales lady Jessica and the furniture is very nice but we still haven't received our chest and footboard that's not damaged!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Ashley Homestore! It’s the best furniture shopping experience we’ve ever had. We were immediately greeted, we picked out a new living room suit, and were in and out—with financing—in 30 minutes. It’s was so much more enjoyable than some “other” places we had been!

Only drawback for me (none of her control) is the variance of prices between online and in store. It would be great if they could be on the same page or at least a little better clarification. This I believe is more of a corporate issue and none of this particular store. Great selection in store though and everyone was friendly and helpful.

The staff was very helpful. I found several things that I liked but will probably not be buying from them. They don't have samples to take home to look at in your own lighting and I was told that if I bought something, got it home and didn't like it, I can't return it. I did buy a wooden end table but will not be buying anything with fabric.

The rep we had was really good. She did an amazing job helping with our 2 yr old while we shopped that part was great. The negative feed back is in the time it took to arrive. We were told at the latest it would be here on Friday August 4th. It didn't arrive til the following week. We wanted to get it in before my wife went into laborer and that didn't happen.

They had what I wanted, but when I went to pick it up it was damaged. They reordered, called me a wk later. My husband went to pick up. Brought it home, wrong fire place insert and when he and friend took off truck, piece of wood fell off bottom of the entertainment center. I went back to tell them. Manager said. oh you can just glue it back on. It's just a brace???? And they said if you want to keep fire insert you have, it is keeper anyway, we will give you the difference back but if you want the one you originally picked we will get it. I was so fed up at that piont. Manager said we usually just give store credit but we will give you cash. I told them. Give me cash, I'm done. I should have known better. My mom got a bed from them over a year ago. Lamanent was coming off. Told us twice they would come fix. To this day, have not seen anyone!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
My fiancé and I are getting our first apartment next month and we visited this store last week to get a feel for everything and fell in love with a certain bedroom set. So we came back today and got lucky enough to have Sam Hart hold the door open for us as we were pushing our son in his stroller. He was absolutely amazing and his customer service was phenomenal! He walked with us back to the furniture we picked and walked us through everything and helped us pick a mattress and get everything set up for delivery. We even got personal talking about work, shift and even how his dad used to sleep during holiday gatherings, and I love it when the employee is more open because it makes the entire process that much more enjoyable! The store might be massive, but it is never hard to find a worker willing and ready to help you. We absolutely love this store and can't wait to do more shopping in the near future!
We had a great experience with our salesperson Jordan. He was very thorough in explaining the different styles of mattresses as well as the different types of frames available. We ended up buying an entire bedroom suite, as well as kitchen table and chairs. Jordan knows his stuff and is on top of his game when it comes to furniture sales.

Most salesmen do all they can to talk me into a purchase and today, he listened to what I had to say and made sure I got what I came for not what would help his paycheck. I would recommend to anyone! She told us about the protection programs and the special financial services. She was a dream to work with. She a little thing , but was pulling the tables apart and showed us the underside of the chairs. Our son bought a couple h and love seat and mattress there this early afternoon. When I described the specific piece of furniture I was looking for, she went online to check and see if it was available. It was and she easily walked me through the purchase of this item and let me know approximately when delivery would occur. The process went very smoothly and I was very pleased the item was still available.

Sarah was great! She was not pushy and took the time to get to know us and what we like. She even asked to see pictures of the home to better coordinate the pieces. She was very patient and even had picked out pieces to show us on our second trip! Our kitchen table is absolutely gorgeous and we're very satisfied with the living room pieces as well! We were even able to afford an extra piece due to her efforts to stay within our budget!

Good deal on the bed purchase
My boyfriend and I are currently getting furniture for our new house. We were helped one day by Destiny and when we returned, Woody kindly helped us. He was so awesome helping us find just the right furniture. We left that day with a new dining set and already have a good idea of what our new living room set will be. Very happy!
I was looking for an accent chair and the Evansville location had only one (I needed 2). Abby searched and found a second one in another warehouse. They were able to confirm I could buy both at the clearance price. I have been looking for accent chairs that were leather and at a good price. So this was a great find and Abby went out of her way to ensure I could get both even though one had to be shipped. My experience with Ashley in Evansville has been great.

Addi immediately greeted me when I walked in the store. The manager Jennifer went above and beyond to help me. Addi move end tables from across the showroom to help me vizualize the look I was going for in my living room space. Overall I was very pleased with the efficiency of Addi and Jenni. Everything was accomplished within my lunch hour.

We were greeted by Bill when we arrived at the front door. He guided us directly to the section we needed and he pointed out some of the best and most popular pieces in the reclining love seats with matching chairs. He told us to try them out and he'd check on us later. We decided on the first set we seen as it was more comfortable than others, the chair also reclined and it was more the color I was looking for. The order process was simple and we got a year to pay with no interest. It was to takev3 weeks to come in for pickup. We also got a box of supplies for taking care of the material in case of accidents. In was a good experience and we are just awaiting the arrival of our new furniture by Ashley. Bill was also a great person to work with.

The sales person very helpful but when we went to pick everything up I had to load it myself when I was told that they would load it for me. I was very disappointed in the service that I got when I went to pick it up. They asked like they didn't want to help I had to tell them 4 time who I was and I even showed them the receipt and they still asked me.

although I did not purchase from Ashley, I still want to write a review. The sales person I spoke with, Kyle Ashby, was easy going and didn't make me feel pressured to make a purchase. I would have purchased if Ashley had the piece I was looking for, but I wanted something very specific and hard to find. I will continue to go back to Ashley when future furniture needs arise.
Since times are so tough I knew that it would be difficult for my fiance and I to find a great deal on furniture for our new place. We got a place that already came with a fridge, washer, dryer, microwave, stove, and dishwasher, and since our bed is only a few years old all we really needed to purchase was a new living room set. We had visited a bunch of furniture stores but they wanted way too much or weren't built well. We were about to give up when my neighbor suggested Ashley's. I had seen their ads but never been inside the store because I hate going to the east side for ANYTHING! But it proved to be everything we were looking for. Their selection is humongous and all their furniture is made to last. They had so much to see. We ended up getting a couch, a love seat, a huge rug, a coffee table, two end tables, two lamps and a giant tv table for a superbowl party only 3900 dollars (that also includes delivery). At all the other places we had been to a set with that much furniture was well over that and the lady that helped us knew everything about everything where others stores seemed like they were winging it. We her what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend she never once tried to convince us to spend more money or to show us furniture that was out of our price range. I can't really say anything BAD except we went in November and there was a lot of traffic on Green River Road. But GO THERE! And ask for Kyle. He was a huge help! They have a lot to see and they have great prices.

I went to several stores before Ashley Furniture and I was disappointed not only on the product they had to offer but the lack of knowledge of the product the sales people had. First of all, Quinn at Ashley Furniture is amazing. I've worked in sales most of my life and I would not have guessed in a million years that it was only his first month. He greeted me very politely not pushy, I knew pretty much what I was looking for, he listened and led the way. I was indecisive between several sectional couches but was able to make a decision and a purchase the same day. My couch will be delivered before Christmas and I am very pleased. Just had my couch delivered. Delivery men were amazing! I was concerned that it would not fit in the door. They had no problems whatsoever. They were very helpful, and even put the couch exactly where I wanted it. They were in and out in less than five minutes. Great customer service!

Bought a bedroom set and had delivery. Delivery was prompt and the delivery guys (Tyler and Hunter) did a great job putting things together and in order. They were done before I knew it. Also, I had trouble getting off work for the delivery window and their manager did a great job working us. Great customer service.

Customer service has been a joke! Rude as all get out! Doesn't return calls unless you demand a manager who then side steps all your concerns! They interrupt people when they are speaking then accuse them of being rude when they get upset with all the lack of common courtesy! I have dealt with ashley for years! In many states! Never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly! 1 star is to much for this location!

Purchased 2 DURABLEND couches about 2 years ago. They are totally peeling off! Looks horrible! We purchased the warranty, so I called just to find out peeling is NOT COVERED. Paid $750 each.... so out $1,500 and can't even find a cover to fit! VERY dissapointed! Do NOT buy DuraBlend without looking it up online first!

Went in search of a new sofa and loveseat to replace our tired old sectional. I wanted to let everyone know how fantastic Matt from the Evansville, Indiana Ashley store is. Our couch was damaged when we moved from Indy to Evansville. Anything could have probably been damaged and we wouldn't have cared as much as our our new linen colored sectional, a problem child from the beginning, that we hadn't even paid off yet. The movers didn't mean to damage it, but it happened unfortunately. When I called to get an estimate on the repair, Matt was extremely responsive and helpful. We got the estimate quickly and the fabric arrived quicker than expected. Matt stayed in contact with me while we waited on the moving company to cover the damage, and he was super understanding with our crazy schedules. When he arrived, he was on time (actually early), professional, friendly to me and my sweet pup, and he was able to chat while doing his work without wasting any time or quality of work. We are so pleased with how the repair turned out and we felt he should be recognized for his professionalism and great work - it is no surprise that he has been doing this for decades - he is very talented. Bought furniture from ashley and after waiting weeks for it to arrive they ordered the wrong set. We were then told to order the new set would be an additional 3 weeks. They offered to take $100 off for inconvenience if we kept the wrong set. When we didnt agree it took them a week to pick up old set. We were then told we would have to come back down to get the credit that we were already told had been processed. We purchased a lot from them in the past and will never shop there again.

At first we went to view furniture. The salesman that we had was awesome and got us the furniture we (thought) wanted. When we finally got it due to it having to be ordered. The recliner looked as if it was drug across concrete and yet they still brought it to us. I bought the extended warranty plan and all that so I had them come back to my place and get me a new chair. At first they asked if I wanted to repair it or get a new one. I said new because I bought a new one. So just out of curiosity I wrote on the inside of the chair to see if I was gonna get a new one or the same one back. Well guess what, it was the same chair that had been repaired and yet still had another hole in it. So I called tried to be polite and asked for another chair. Finally I get the 3rd chair and what do you kno. Has a hole but is a different chair. So I called again. Got a little upset and decided I'll keep it and just have their guy come repair it. I was tired of not having my chair that I have been paying for and not getting to use. Well today I have had the chair for 4 days. And used it on Sunday and that's it. Go to get into it and recline and bam. The reclining part breaks and now it won't close. Needless to say I will never go back to ashleys furniture ever again. Very dissapointed!!!! Not one time was anything ever offered to me or anything during this whole process. The furniture is no good. And that's just one of the pieces of furniture that I have problems with. I'm not gonna get goin on the other one!

I have always bought furniture from Ashley in other states. My entire house has Ashley Furniture. I have always been happy with them. I went to this Ashley and spent $4000.. I was told there was a price guarantee. Before my furniture was even delivered the price dropped $400! I called them to fix it and they checked it out and called me back and said they only way I could get the $400 reduction I'd have to come in and change my financing from 3 years to 1 which would triple my payment! So obviously I couldn't do that. Feel like I got ripped off.
Worst service ever. Pick up hours inconvenient. Delivery date was late. Assembly was put on Wrong, one panel was upside down. Will never buy from this store again. I understand if they could of done one mistake, but overall experience makes me feel like people in this store do not wish to stay in business. Oh, and panel on the end of my TV stand was Damaged.
Buyer Beware! Do not buy from Ashley Furniture! We paid $1700 for 3 pieces of durablend that were supposed to last for "15 years." 3 1/2 years later this is what our barely used furniture looks like. They are accepting responsibility by offering us $350 in store credit. This is not a joke! Ashley Furniture Homestore is a SCAM. I am going to the ends of the earth to make sure no one else has to deal with such an absolute rip off.
Not worth one star. Staff are nice enough. The quality of the furniture is very low and their warranty is a joke. I've only had the sectional and dining set a little over a year and they are both breaking down. Have been waiting at least six months for my dining chairs to be repaired. They are, literally, coming apart. The sectional material is "pilling" and the cushions are losing their shape. One year!!! If you buy from them, don't waste the money for a warranty that will never help you. I won't make the mistake of ever buying another piece from them.

My wife and I purchased a brand new table, leaf, and eight chairs. Three years later, damage started to appear on my table. The same week I noticed the damage, I called Montage, the company that holds the warranty. It took five months for Montage to send a technician to view the damage on our table. In our original e-mail, I told Montage that it appears the finishing was never applied to the table because the table CLEANS differently than the leaf. The table appears to hold onto moisture, but the leaf allows moisture to wipe right off. Montage has denied us in fixing/replacing the table because of the damage has been ongoing for a lengthy time. They will do nothing. They do, however, keep telling me, "We do not cover manufacture damage" without explicitly saying the problem I have with my table is Ashley Furniture's fault. Ashley Furniture's local owner tells me that this damage comes from within the house. Ashley Furniture refuses to even let me bring the table to them for the personal inspection. It is not MY fault that the table holds onto moisture and the leaf does not. I cannot even have my daughter put her glass of milk on the table because I am afraid of the condensation on the glass soaking into the wood. Who buys a table that you cannot eat with your family at dinner time? This is RIDICULOUS.
We bought a durablend leather couch and love seat from Ashley Furniture in 2010. The leather started to separate from the fabric within 3 years. I spoke with someone in the Quality Control and Product Repairs Department and she said they can't repair it due to the fact that Ashley no longer makes couches with that type of leather. Obviously, there was some serious flaws in the manufacturing process. They refused to stand behind their product, and only offered me a small discount on a new purchase. What a joke! Their manager had no interest in retaining me as a future customer. He could have "made things right"... but did not. Horrible service. Stay away from Ashley Furniture!
There are not many good reviews about Ashley Furniture, so I felt the need to weigh in. We have had nothing but a GREAT experience with our furniture we bought there! Four years ago we purchased a couch and loveseat and also bought the protection plan then. A few months ago, my two year old took a marker to both the couch and loveseat, and we filed a claim (which was a little bit of work, but worth it!) so we could get the furniture cleaned or parts repaired. However, they had discontinued our furniture and we were given store credit in the amount of what we paid for the couch and love seat 4 years ago (it ended up being almost $2k)! We were able to pick out a new couch and love seat for that price. The sales people have all been so nice and helpful...(like moving furniture pieces across the store to see how they match other pieces.) We are so glad we bought our furniture there and the protection plan was a lifesaver!!! I'd recommend them to anyone!
Never again will I step foot in this store. We spent close to $7000 on a mattress, kind bed, entryway piece, and accessories, only to be given the cold shoulder 30 days after the sale. In our case, the sales associate and the "mattress representative" sold us a bill of goods that proved to be nothing but smoke and mirrors. Be careful of hidden restocking fees that they will fail to mention, as well as what you can and can't return. We trusted the sales team and ended up spending a few extra dollars by purchasing both the mattress and the bed from Ashley thinking they would honor some of the same return policies of other stores, however this proved false. This business would rather lose a future paying customer than do what is right by honoring and being straightforward with their customers. Instead, they would prefer to simply make the sale, and then kick you the curb. AGAIN, LISTEN TO ALL THE REVIEWS. THERE IS A REASON THEY ARE RATED 2 STARS.
Never going to buy anything from there. I went in to by a sectional that was on sale, and put $200 down and then agreed to pay it over 90 days. I ended up finding something similar for cheaper and I went to get my money refunded a week later. They refused to refund my money, and said they could only give me in store credit. They didn't loose out on any money from me canceling my order they product hadn't even been ordered. And NOWHERE in all the papers i signed said that I couldn't be given my refund. I'm planning on filing a complaint with the BBB.
The reviews don't lie. I spent $3,000 on a sectional and when it came there was a lump in the seat of the recliner. I made them aware of it immediately, and they told me they would have to send a technician to inspect it. If the tech thought it needed repaired then they would put in a new cushion. I would be okay with that if I had the furniture for a month or two, but I've had it for ten minutes. I didn't pay $3,000 to have a repaired piece of furniture. I feel that they should have replaced the recliner since it was delivered this way and I haven't even sat on it yet. After further inspection, I'm not so sure that I didn't receive a refurbished piece of furniture. Beware of these crooks.
