Make sure you understand the refund policy before you purchase. It is not the same as ordering online. Fort Wayne Ashley took 30% for cancelling our order even though it was prior to scheduling a delivery! Our salesperson tried to negotiate a lower cancellation fee for us but they turned it down. This was an expensive frustrating experience. Ashley furniture Fort Wayne does not care about retaining customers. We do not recommend Ashley furniture Fort Wayne to anyone living on a limited income. Apparently each store can do whatever they want regarding cancelling and return policies. Not all Ashley furniture stores in the country are the same. Buyer beware!

Phoenix G was extremely helpful for my husband and I when picking out a new mattress. He had all of the information for us about every mattress. Overall we left the store very happy with our new bed.

I ordered a Cayberry fireplace tv stand and a coffee table from here back in October. They said mid November. I didn’t receive my items until 12/30/25. The delivery guys were supposed to come between 2-5. They came around 1. I had to leave work because of this. They had to drill larger holes in the tv stand to actually put it together, discovered one of the LEDs was broken and said they’d have a new one sent to me (they never reported it), took the remote and manual and likely threw them away. I got the remote on Tuesday. The fireplace doesn’t work. I couldn’t tell before then because I DIDNT HAVE THE REMOTE. It is impossible to tell if something is broken if you don’t have all the parts. I requested a return but was told because I didn’t request it by 1/2/26 that I can’t return them. Even though I didn’t have all the parts. This company is awful. Do not buy here. The buying process is nice but everything else is hell. I do have proof of the missing remote and delivery stuff as well. Texts are a wonderful thing.

We have always purchased our furniture at Ashley. They are quality products and the staff is very helpful . Carissa spent a lot of time listening to our requests and trying to accommodate our needs . She was friendly and knowledgeable and went beyond the basics ,including looking at photos with us and offering multiple suggestions.

Carissa was terrific to work with! She met us at the door when we walked in to look for a new leather couch for our new home. She was professional, had clear expertise in this area, and was experienced in listening to the customer, so she could figure out what we really wanted. We left feeling 100 percent satisfied with our sales experience and even more so, confident that she had helped us find the furniture pieces that best suited our family. We can’t recommend her enough!

I was purchasing furniture and they said it will be in a month no big deal but come to the day and no call or anything so I had to reach out they said it would be another month after that I already gave up I went to ask for a refund they told me it will take a week or 2 it’s already been past that. I never got an update then I had to call once again and now it’s another week they didn’t put the refund in but they should have that day I was there. Now I’m still waiting for the refund. Where is my money?

EDIT TO ADD: They respond to reviews, as if they will actually help you resolve your issue; they will not. They know that yoi cannot reply to their review response, so it's my perception that their trying to save face. My review stands; if you get your furniture and have any issues resulting in a refund (or even need to exchange), you WILL lose a lot of money. They will not work with you. Carissa was great, but this store will charge you 30% restocking and $250 to pick up if you require a return, and ONLY 3 DAYS to make the decision/arrangements. They unapologetically will not budge. Our new chairs are lovely enough, but incredibly uncomfortable. My body aches after sitting in them for long. Unfortunately, I didn't get to test that long in store, and have never had this problem before. So now we're stuck with 2 horribly uncomfortable (for me) recliners and out a huge chunk of money.

I visited the store to furnish my be home, Bob helped me. He was funny and personable. I bought a beautiful table and upon delivery, discovered that there was some defects. The delivery man noticed it, he told me I had 3 days to report anything, I did to my sales rep and he pushed me to service, they sent a tech to “fix” the defects. Once the tech was here, we noticed other small defects that he said he could take care of. He told me to wipe down a few hours later and now my new table at my vacant home is damaged! This is in a vacant home, table has not been utilized as we are in the process of furnishing our new home. I emailed service and they want me to drop off the tabletop that seats 8 people to some warehouse after paying to have it delivered. I did not order a defective table, I don’t understand how it’s my responsibility to take it to them to fix after they ruined it. I was told if I purchased the warranty, they would come to me for any and all repairs or issues. I have emailed them several times with zero responses and my sales representative is no longer texting me back either. Buy local! These guys jack up the prices and deliver junk products and service. I’m renting a u-haul and taking everything back!

Two Great Guys came out and did an Amazing Job on installing our bed and setting up other items we purchased. Very Friendly, Professional and quick quality set up! Also they did wonderful picking up afterwards.

They make it nearly impossible to cancel your order.I called less than 24 hours after placing my order and was told no one could help me and then got hung up on. I then called a different store and finally got transferred to the manager of the store I needed. The manager told me there was a 30% cancelation fee - which would have cost hundreds of dollars. Crappy customer service and crappy cancelation policy. Unhappy customer that will not be returning.

I had ordered a couch I had been eyeballing for a long time through the online store. My order was cancelled due to the couch being disco'd. We purchased a couch from Ashley and thought the order was complete. Weeks later, I called to check on the status and found out the store had never even placed the order. They told me they had been “trying to reach us” for a missing signature, but neither my wife nor I ever received anything. Despite admitting the order was never submitted, they initially refused to refund our deposit. We had to escalate the issue all the way to the Indiana Attorney General’s office before we finally got our money back. This was time-consuming, stressful, and completely unnecessary for what should have been a simple furniture purchase. The fact that we had to involve state authorities just to get back money for a product we never truly bought says a lot about their customer service and accountability. If you choose to shop here, I strongly recommend double-checking that your order is actually placed and getting all commitments in writing. Our experience was frustrating enough that we will not be returning.

Please beware of this place if you are young & on a budget. I took my cousin shopping for her first apartment since she was headed off to Fort Wayne for college & would be getting her first apartment near by. Filled with excitement & hope… Met with snarky, condescending attitude like we were wasting the sales clerk time.. This trip was nothing but a waste of time & filled with 100% regret. We left empty handed & have never felt more defeated. That ended what was going to be a day filled of shopping & memories. We were gaslighted & pushed into something she couldn’t afford or didn’t want/accommodate her living situation. She has worked so hard to save (I was planning on helping her if she needed an extra few hundred as a surprise) but she wanted to pay cash not to add on credit/debt on to her name or didn’t want to run into the situation where she couldn’t afford they monthly payment since she was going to be juggling work & school but school was the main priority not paying credit off if she didn’t need to. She also felt belittled because she was on a budget. But she budgeted as a young adult & saved and is being smart with her money but was made to feel cheap or “broke” because she couldn’t afford what the sales clerk was trying to push. She left in tears and made her rethink is this was the right move. & after reading the other reviews I’ll save you the trouble & let you know now that, you won’t have me in your system cause I didn’t shop for myself so please don’t try to gaslight me & my review & experience like you did her. She is not a very confrontational person so she would have never said anything & she is & was nothing but polite. The only wrong thing she did was choose to come here and come in on a budget. But I cannot sit back & not bring this to everyone else attention. I didn’t say anything in the store because she begged me not to for her sake while in store. But please do better.

I was excited!! to receive a new mattress from Ashley furniture. When I got home, and was going over the paperwork. I realize that the original price on the mattress was different on my receipt. My mattress was a floor model sale. The price on the mattress was over $2700 originally and was reduce down to $996 but on my receipt, it said my mattress was $1629.99 and was on sale for $996. which led me to think that the mattress falsely advertise.

Overall a good experience. Visited over Labor Day weekend and, after being greeted at the door, was left to decide what pieces I wanted. Spent time looking over the store and when I made my decisions, pricing was discussed. Don’t remember discussing the protection plan I noted on my bill later so that’s why the four vs five stars. My fault for not looking too closely at the time of purchase, I guess, as I thought it was the delivery charge listed. Friendly, easy going staff. I’d shop there again. (Just check the bill closer next time 🤓)

I went to Ashley furniture looking for an ottoman. The sales lady greeted me nicely and was very personable. She showed me possible options and helped me find the right ottoman. She even told me how to blend the color into my color scheme if the ottoman color wasn’t a perfect match ( which I really didn’t expect it to be.) She gave me other tips that were very helpful and made the whole experience very enjoyable. It was a good day at Ashley furniture.

Guys delivered all our furniture in perfect order. So carefully you could sense they'd carried experience in getting complete an extraordinary difficulty task, with all the stairs and angles of our house. I hope you pay these guys well, they deserve it.

When my friend told me the story of her getting a damaged couch. Even when I saw other reviews with similar stories I didn’t mind. I really didn’t think much of it because things can happen at big chain stores but then the sales rep who helped her went into the company data base to get her phone number and started texting her threats from their personal number. It’s very scary that a large organization like this doesn’t do more to safe guard their customers’ information or vet the kind of people they hire. Do they even run background checks? Some customers could be DV victims, witness protection, or more and their abusers would have easy access to contact them inappropriately as long as they get hired. I feel very unsafe shopping at any Ashley store now

My friends mom ordered a couch from you. She got a damaged wrong couch and poor communication from you all. I hope you reflect and do better. Getting the sale is great but do it correctly because this is how you break the trust of customers and potential customers. Will not be shopping here again.

Where do I start. We were pounced on as soon as we got into the store, followed around in a very unsettling manner by some and dismissed by others. I had a question about a particular sectional and the “gentleman” didnt look up and was on his phone. So I walked away and proceeded to browse. When a female associate asked me what I was looking for and I said I was just looking around this “lady” (and lady is being generous) Bridget rolled her eyes at me and my partner. Joanne was no better and they should both no be working in sales. I don’t know if it was because we were a gay couple shopping for furniture or because we were casually dressed latinos but the vibe was OFF as soon as we entered. Mind you we both make 6 figures, we just moved, were looking to furnish our entire house (indoor and outdoor) and our budget was $25,000 -$30,000. We usually end up spending more if we have a good sales associate and have a good experience. So that would have been a nice commission. I wanted to do a mixture to the interior district in Manhattan, Bo Concept, Bob’s (for the guest bedroom) and estate sale but, my partner is into the Ashley chain and seems to think you can trust them more than other companies. I found the whole experience to be off putting. Do yourself a favor and skip this location if you choose to shop at Ashley. If you go there pick out what you want and just get it online. Also, try to get it straight from the manufacturer or go one Dupe.com. Thank me later.

Checked out Ashley's after a stressful day at work, utterly amazed by the customer service and hospitality of the staff there! Quinn and Ian created a magical experience for me, I am eternally grateful! This is my first apartment, so I was shopping on a budget. I was offered great pricing, super simple financing options, and lots of extra perks. Literally all the stress from my workday melted off when I tried a mattress that I like to call "The Cloud", (ask Ian). Again, shout out to Quinn, Ian, and the gang! Try them out!

Was greeted at the door. Told them what we were interested in ( recliners ). Was taken back to the area where recliners were. He explained the different materials and colors. We sat in a few and found the ones we wanted and ordered them. We have bought most of our furniture from Ashley and have never had problems. On the way towards ordering and paying, the salesman also showed us the fantastic sale they are having on their mattresses. Very tempting but as senior citizens we have to budget. These guys are scam artist. Wife and I bought furniture from them back in 2023, when we bought said furniture, we financed it at 0% interest. We were told by the sales people that the warranty was required by the finance company and even after pushback from us, they still charged it. Well we paid the furniture off way early and when I was on the phone with the finance company, they advised me that it was not required as they don’t care if you have an extra warranty on it or not. Let’s also not forget that I paid for the extra special delivery and they just dropped it off without putting stuff together and I had to fight them on coming back to put it together. Do not use this company, their furniture is cheaply made and they lie to their customers.

Everyone at this store were very helpful and wonderful to work with on my selections. Delivery and set up went very smooth. The delivery crew was very professional and courteous, made sure everything was set up, no packaging left behind. They even give you a link to keep track of when to expect the arrival of your furniture. I am pleased with my experience.

Our love seat costing over $2000. and was not properly manufactured. The center console is off center, it’s very noticeable and will not stay open. Since we picked it up they would not come fix it. If we returned it there was a 30% return fee. Ridiculous. I would never recommend them!!

The Tempur-Pedic we tried in store was great. However, we spoke with the salesman and he stated that it takes 2 weeks to deliver. We asked if it was possible to get it that Thursday (3days later) he had told us yes it’s possible. After calling them on Wednesday to get an update we discovered that it takes two weeks to get to the warehouse…. This is not what we were told. They even told us it could take up to a month or more for it to come in. There wasn’t a price brought up until after you applied for financing, I would’ve appreciated a paper estimate prior to that hard credit inquiry. Had we know all this information upfront, we would’ve surly gone somewhere else. Felt quite shady after the paperwork was all signed.

They have an excellent selection of high quality furniture items, as well as a wide array of options in both styles and colors. They can even alter certain furniture items to make it into whatever you need! I got a beautiful antique white dresser set for my bedroom. They deliver and set up as well!

The only reason this is not a one star review is because we were treated very well in store. We were guaranteed a certain delivery date if we purchased the furniture from their store. We just received a message yesterday stating that they cannot deliver it on the date requested and now has to be moved nearly 1 week after. We are just moving into this home from out of state, so we now have no furniture in the home for a week. I am very disappointed with how this has all been handled.

My husband and I walked in at Ashley’s on Jefferson Blvd. We were greeted by Steve Reid with a pleasant welcome and a smile. Steve asked what we were interested in and I told him that we’re looking for a Recliner Sectional that will go with gold along with two accent chairs with gold. He proceeded on to showing us what they had in store. We immediately chose the ones that caught our eyes first but then we saw another sectional that we love also, but I wasn’t sure if the color gold would match well with gray. Lo and behold, Steve went above and beyond to gather different pieces of golden decorations around the store, brought them over and set them up to please our eyes. Well, my husband and I were very much pleased with the outcome he did as they blended pretty well, but we went on ahead with the first set that would more match with our setup at home. Steve communicated well with us and guided us through the process while keeping smiles on our faces. He made sure we were very much happy with our purchases. He assured us of the shipping/delivery time frame which is convenient for us. We’re very much satisfied with Steve Reid as our Operations Manager who assisted us on that day. I must say that the furnitures at Ashley’s are gorgeous and the employees there are very nice. I highly recommend Ashley’s on Jefferson to be your furniture store and Steve Reid to be your Operations Manager to assist you with your choices! I give both the store and Steve Reid 10/10.

The cancellation policy is frustrating. I have 6 chairs on order with an 8 week lead time. They clearly haven't been built or shipped yet and they are generic floor model chairs. I tried cancelling the order and was told it was too late despite it only being 6 days into the 8 week lead time. I was told it would be a 30% restocking fee Just disappointed that it's clearly possible to cancel the order when we have so long until they ship. I would get if it was a week or two from delivery.

Ian is the man if you are looking for a couch. His store manager also stepped in to make sure we got everything we wanted. They made it happen for us to leave with what we came in to look at. Probably would NEVER shop here again. Our sales person, Audrey, was amazing, NO issues there. Unfortunately, when our furniture was FINALLY delivered, stuff was damaged. They ruined the walls in my BRAND NEW house in 3 different places. The delivery people left their tools, didn’t finish setting up the TV stand, ruined my walls, damaged the new furniture that I am spending A LOT of money on. Trying to get in touch with a service agent or sales manager is a JOKE. I am constantly being told “we will call you back” and no one ever does. I am EXTREMELY frustrated with my entire experience.

I was met in the mattress department by Jason who walked me through the sleep process and mattress purchase procedure. He determined my particular, and what I thought were unique, circumstances. (Actually he was quite familiar with my needs). He then carefully demonstrated how his recommend product could and would benefit me. If having so much better sleep can produce the results that he predicted, and I believe that they can, I will be very grateful. After the mattress is delivered and installed and I have used it for a period of time, I would be pleased to follow up with my assessment.

Great with communication. They didn't follow us through the store and hound us! They gave us our time and space but were kind and available for any questions.

I walked into the Ashley Store fully expecting to be ignored. I had an agenda of picking only in stock items and if there wasn't anything in stock I was going to walk out. It's like she knew exactly where everything was in the store. She even showed me things I thought I hated, like leather furniture. She explained the benefits of different materials and really listened to what I needed as a mom and a caregiver for my ill mother. Within 25 minutes she helped pick my dining room set (which I love) and my sofa and ottoman (which the kids love). Audrey even made sure delivery was available the day before Christmas! She made no promises but kept me in the loop the entire time. For the first time in years I was able to have my whole family sit around the dinner table together! I’m editing this review: originally left 5stars. Once they make a sale they don’t care about their customers. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them for a whole year about a pillow that I paid for and never received. And every time I call they say someone will call me back. No one ever does. One thing I hate more than car sales people is furniture sales people. All they care about is making a sale. Jason helped us, he was untruthful about the pricing of things and very pushy. Pushed us through the process so fast I never really got the chance to look at what I was paying for. And everything was “non refundable”. Looking back I wish I would have done things differently. But I won’t be back to Ashley.

My family has had an excellent experience with Ashley Furniture’s two stores in Fort Wayne, IN today 2/26/2024 and the Ashley Furniture Mishawaka Store. My mother purchased a new 55” Samsung TV yesterday on Christmas Day. Due to the size of the TV Screen we needed to purchase a new TV Stand. We identified a Harpan 60” TV Stand on the Ashley website that we wanted to purchase. I had a couple of questions to ask about the product so I did not finalize the order on Christmas Day. This morning the website showed the product as Out of Stock. The website by store location did show there was the same product available at the store closest to my mom’s location on Jefferson St. I went to the Ashley Jefferson Street Store this morning only to find out the product had been discontinued and they did not have one in stock and could no longer get it. Audrey was very professional and according to their computer there were only 2 available in IN, one on Lima Rd in Fort Wayne and one in Mishawaka. Much to my dismay, the Lima Rd Ashley Store, also did not have the TV Stand on their showroom floor. Sedina, Sales Professional and Malachi, Store Manager worked with the Mishawaka Ashley Store to secure the only discontinued remaining Harpan 60” TV Stand in IN for me. The transaction was completed seamlessly and delivery has been scheduled. From Audrey at the Ashley Store on Jefferson St to Sedina and Malachi at the Lima Rd Ashley Store both in Fort Wayne and the Mishawaka Ashley Store in IN, everyone worked in unison to find the TV Stand we had identified the day earlier on the Ashley website. It is obvious that Ashley Furniture has a customer first culture. This was a very positive experience.

I went in with my roommates to look at couches. We were looking to make some changed in my house that I own and decided it was time for a change. We were greeted pleasantly. Staff were a bit overwhelming at times. Felt a bit pushy. I won't mention the sell person's name, but they were intense and did not allow a lot of processing time to find what I wanted. I tend to do best when sales people allow me to process, luckily the person I was with understood and dragged the person away. Also finally, the staff seemed to get it and switched to a better overall fit for me. I ultimately worked with Amy, who was a blessing to work with even if she was near the tail end of the experience. She was not as forceful and just presented the selling facts in a straightforward manner. I enjoyed the experience overall and they both were knowledgeable of the material. If you want great details on the merchandise the first sales person will be right up your alley, if you are more simplistic and want to look for yourself ask for Amy. She will answer but allow you to make your own decisions. I will come back here again! It was a great experience. The delivery was also smooth Don and Paul delivered quickly and efficiently. They listened when locations of the items had to move as well. Very pleased with the overall experience.

The store was very clean with a welcoming and 'no pressure' atmosphere. We were greeted immediately and guided to what we were looking for.
