I wish I could give 0 starts. They definitely do not deserve the one. I have been a customer with Ashley 10 years. Any time I need furniture, I come to Ashley. My last two purchases, the customer services has been horrendous!!! I waited a week with no communication from anyone. After emailing corporate, the best they can do is STILL charge me the $125 for delivery…but instead of dropping it off, they will bring it into my home. Way to go Ashley. You’ve lost a customer. I’m a manager. And this is not going above and beyond for your customers. If my employees acted in such a way to one of my patients, I would do ANYTHING to make them happy and accommodate such inconvenience. Your fix…was me giving a Free Mikes Car Wash to my patient because I pulled the wrong tooth. Do better, Ashley. Way better.

Travis, the store manager we worked with for this purchase was super easy to work with and very helpful in our decision-making process. We were also pleasantly pleased at the turnaround time. We purchased the mattress on a Monday, and it was delivered three days later on Thursday. Nick and Phil set up our new King Tempur-Pedic mattress and Ergo base. Super friendly guys, very fast and efficient setup, and great at figuring out how to work the space to get it up to our second floor. We were also super grateful that they brought down our old mattress, which is one less thing to worry about. Phoenix was a great help and took time to really show me pieces he thought fit my vision and budget. He explained options that would save me money and I never felt pressured or like he was trying to upsell; he was happy to try to help me make the best decisions when I came in multiple times to explore options. I think it’s great that the store gives a percentage of the purchase to a charity and I got to choose from a few local charities for the percentage from my purchase to go towards. I had a great experience shopping for a living room set at Ashley, and Pheonix (the salesman who helped me both times I came in) was wonderful! He let me browse at my own pace but was always on hand to answer questions and explained different features, materials, and so on. Financing was straightforward and very quick! We went in looking for a piece of furniture for our living room, and our salesman Jay was telling us about deals, and convinced us into buying a new mattress that we needed to replace.
The salesperson Jason was very helpful on deciding what mattress we needed. Prices were a little high, but our salesperson was able to work with us to get it lowered and manageable. I guess if you want the best you have to be willing to pay for it. It may be several weeks before we get our bed, so until then we don’t know if we made a good decision. I do have several friends that gave high marks to Tempur-Pedic. Update 5/17/2024: We got our bed and sofa recliner about two weeks early. The biggest problem was with the delivery. We got the "Premium white glove delivery and setup". The delivery guys agreed to move our old mattress to our garage but not the old sofa recliner. At this point, if they wasn't going to move both items to the garage, I was sending everything back and not accepting the order. After calling our salesperson, all he could do was send a friend over the next day to move sofa recliner. Well the deliver guys decided to move the sofa recliner 100 feet rather then take everything back. The delivery guys are to move items "in and setup", "not move items out". The "Store" needs to let customers know they need to make arrangements to have there items moved out. Or here is an idea, Offer the the service! The store and the delivery people better get there SHI* together. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

It was refreshing to walk in to this store and not feel immediately bombarded by employees hoping for a sale. Travis greeted me and then pointed me in the direction of the type of furniture I was looking for. Also refreshing was that I was free to look around without sales pressure. Travis was available for questions and checked in several times to see how I was doing. That was appreciated. I originally went in to purchase a recliner, but left buying a three piece set that I can't wait to have delivered. My entire experience from walking in the door to walking out was wonderful. I'll be back when I have a need in the future.

I bought 2 mattresses and it was a low stress event. The sales person gave me the facts and let me make the decisions. This is good. The only downside is that there is no price negotiation, so do your homework. They cut the delivery charge in half without any question, so it seems like it is a corporate thing to make you feel like they gave you something. But it's better than nothing . Altogether a good experience. The experience with sales was 5 star and the lack of price negotiation not.

We chose zero gravity to help with the back, neck, heart and knee health issues. She educated us on the benefits of this type of furniture. She helped us stay within our budget. She even helped with discounts that were available to help our budget. She was very understand of us not making an immediate decision and stay in touch a few times over the couple of weeks while we decided. She was patient,?kind and helpful in every aspect. Ordering our furniture was a breeze once we decided and getting delivery set up and a date as soon as possible If you need furniture come see. HER she is phenomenal. She is located at the JEFFERSON RD Ashley Furniture. Do yourself a HUGE favor DONT go to the Lima Rd store . They are crooked and will run your credit and order furniture without your permission. They are pushy and even at one point was rude and persistent once we told them no we would think about it. Going back into the "Lima Rd" store to question the furniture being ordered and maxing out our credit seems to be a laughing matter to them. They denied doing so after it was confirmed they DID do just that!! So please make it a smooth and pleasant experience and no pressure whatsoever, see Samantha at Jefferson Rd Ashley. What a pleasant young lady and the manager Steve is right up there with her. He was very accommodating to our specific needs and seemed to want to help in any way possible even if it cost him a headache 😝. I love the table, bench and chairs! The delivery was prompt and guys were friendly and efficient. However they tracked in lots of salt and dirt from the snow outside. Also one of my chairs had two grey streaks on it from shipping. I was able to use spot remover to get it off. So I didn't have to mess with an exchange. Very solid table and chairs are heavy. Definitely used the front leveling nobs on the legs to stabilize them.

2024-01-17 ... What a great delivery experience today ... It's 5 Deg-F in Fort Wayne, at 9:30 AM ... and "Alex" and "Irish Sean" show up to deliver my new Ashley sofa ... It's super cold with snow and ice on the sidewalk ... Yet these two guys are as cheerful as Spring bluebirds ... They get the heavy sofa into the house and electrically hooked up ... All in about 12 minutes ... Amazing ... They were so "Ashley conscientious" that they even declined two hot cups of coffee ... Sean and Alex did a superb job ...
My daughter and I visited the Ashley HomeStore on Jefferson Boulevard, and we were blown away with our experience. When we walked in, we were greeted right away with a smile by Steve Reid. I explained what we were looking for, and Steve understood and showed us the section for a bedroom set. Steve was very helpful by listening, explaining and suggesting different options that were within our budget as my daughter was trying to decide what she liked. The salesman is a liar , said my couch that I over paid for would be here in 7-14 days . Lies , they don't tell you that your money is non refundable until you've already signed and paid . I'll never do business with them again. I suggest you go buy from someone else or you will have to wait up to 3 months for your furniture.
I would never deal with these people. Sales person lied saying 7-14 days until delivery, it's not until months later. Do not buy here. Can not cancel even when the item has not shipped.
Sales people are only out for commission. We were not told until after signing papers that our delivery was weeks out and purchases are non refundable. Had I known that I would not have purchased.

I am so glad I stopped in this store when I did, and met my amazing salesman named Jay! I don't give out compliments lightly, as a matter of fact, I can be overly critical, so I don't try to make anyone feel good, but this man was wonderful! I could carry-on for a couple paragraphs about what an amazing interaction I had in meeting Jay! He never tried to do any type of hard selling at all just soft selling because he could see I clearly wanted furniture and I actually needed it but wasn't confident enough to apply for the credit… He asked me questions and walked me through some things, and I mean just really went and my opinion above and beyond, and as we talked the furniture we were sitting on I fell in love with it… The prettiest set in the store and my opinion lol So long story short, I applied for the Credit got an amazing, absolutely amazing interest rate and now have a brand new top-of-the-line couch, loveseat, and oversize chair with an ottoman ... I have never been more happy and more pleased nothing is perfect. There's a few issues, but that's with anything that you buy what really matters is the customer service that follows the purchase… And I have all the confidence in the world that Ashley is going to be as great with their customer service as they are with their sales people and with their beautiful , beautiful furniture! I have never been so happy to be in debt, and I have to pay for Furniture overtime… I just can't say enough how wonderful I'm so glad I wandered in there unexpectedly! And I do believe it was very reasonably priced for what I purchased and comparing it to all the goofballs on Facebook marketplace trying to sell old raggedy furniture for $500 or $1000. I mean it's like get real people you can buy a brand new couch for four or $500 who's gonna buy a used one for that price Lol

Update: Communication while waiting for the couch was exceptional. We were told 4-6 weeks for delivery and it was dropped off just after 4 weeks. Assembly was very easy.

Spent around 3 grand on a sectional. Paid extra for "premium home setup and delivery" which just turned into being 2 kids who just man handled my sofa up a staircase and got tons of paint marks and rips all over my sofa. They also destroyed a light fixture and celing tiles in my apartment complex, left all the trash in my apartments hallway. Then I talk to management (with photos of damage)and they tell me I can use the protection plan I paid extra for........ like how is that any type of compensation. They also told me they won't be held responsible for damage to my apartment complex. The guys that helped my buy the sectional were cool people. But I will never recommend Ashley furniture to anyone honestly.

Overpriced would be an understatement but thats not a huge deal since that's everything these days. The issue I mainly didn't like is they charge way too much for shipping so I decided to pick it up myself only they made me wait a week to get my product only to tell me I had to goto the warehouse to get it and once it "arrived" I had to schedule 2 days in advanced to go get it. I quote arrived because she claimed they had to dig it out and find it for me so they need a 2 day notice to do so because they are short staffed. I'm no genius but if they the product was delivered the day I called in after recieving the text saying the product arrived. Why do they need time to find it? Seems more like they just wanted to make me wait for the product when I should have been able to just goto the warehouse day 1. Not a system I'll be dealing with again and that's unfortunate for them because I also needed a dining table and a second couch.
Our visit went very well and we ended up buying our furniture there.

I wish I could leave 0 stars!!! We were told 4wks to deliver. Our salesperson assured us the furniture would be in. So we gave our old furniture away to make room for the new. Delivery date came and went. No word from Ashley. After they finally returned our call, they said it’d be another month. Well that month has come and gone too. Now they’re saying they’re unsure when it’ll be in. We have no furniture in our house. They won’t cancel and refund our money either so we can go somewhere else to make a purchase. Pretty much just gave them thousands of dollars and we’re just stuck. Some friends reached out to us and said they had the same experience this year. One of them waited almost 6mo after the initial delivery date. The other waited 10 months!!! They just expect us to just sit on the floor???

Issue Resolved! I want to Give Samantha at Ashley 5 PLUS Stars for solving my delivery issue in time. I'll give the store less than that for the inconvenience of having to rent a van and picking up my furniture myself, but in the end I am happy and again Samatha was and is the only reason I would ever consider Ashley again. Please seek her out, she actually cares. UPDATE: Samantha at Ashley is going out of her way to resolve my issue. I do feel better about getting our furniture in time. Only thing that changed was due to to delivery schedule. I need to pick it up myself. If all goes well, she may have solved this. Fingers crossed. The worst! We were lied too about availability just to close a sale. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY!! Purchase your furniture somewhere else. I heard Rainbow has a very good reputation. I should have listened to friends that had a similar experience with these liars. UPDATE: to be fair the saleswoman that helped me is trying her best to deliver on time as promised, but still not satisfied with the store and their policy. I believe she was given false information about availability. And she did offer to cancel and refund. However, NEVER EVER promise a customer something that is false, even if it’s your owners fault.

I did not read the reviews or check the Better Business Bureau site before shopping at Ashley Furniture. It’s a terrible establishment. I hope you do your due diligence before opening their doors. Their business ethics are horrific. Of course , this is my opinion. Here are my facts. I purchased 11K worth of furniture. Not a small sale. JAY sat on a stool in front of a computer and said I was one of the LUCKY ones. Everything was there. They would call in 7-10 days to schedule delivery. That worked since I purchased bedroom furniture. Well, no call. I called and JAY said he indeed saw the furniture there when I was in but corporate can change that. He would need to call me back with a delivery date. Again, I call to find out the order won’t be in Until at least the end of November. Jay states the mattresses are here, “ I could get those to you.” The next day I called to schedule the mattress delivery so sleeping can occur at least on a mattress on the floor. JAY had suggested putting the mattresses on garbage bags. Now, Jay wants another 348.00 to deliver the bedding. It would be 2 deliveries. Another delivery fee after I spent 11K and I was told nothing but a lie onThe day of the purchase. JAY showed his true colors on the phone stating you can’t have your money back. Your receipt is a signed contract. On the back of the receipt it states all sales final. He wouldn’t let me get a word in. What business would have these policies and not be an open book concerning the all sales final policy at purchase. It’s just customer service. Consumers beware!! Please don’t shop here without reading the lowest reviews that are hidden. If you have had a bad experience and hundreds have, issue a complaint to the attorney general via email. There are more good people and businesses out there. Support local businesses and stay away from Ashley Furniture. I’m still waiting on a call from management. I would guess he is not calling since he mostly likely trains his staff on business ethics.

I purchased 3 bedroom suites for my grandchildren. They were to have been delivered in 7 - 10 days. Turns out they weren’t in Stock until the end of November. Grandchildren have no beds!!! Jay said we could have the mattress delivered. Ok, at least that helps. Turns out they want 2 delivery fees for their lie. I would give negative stars if I could. And another family said they were told the exact same story.
Jason was so kind and funny he made my experience at Ashley which was my first time actually buying at a big furniture store a really good experience for me. I gave him the idea of what I was looking for which wasn’t in the store sadly but at a different location and he found it and got it ordered for me!! I’m excited and can’t wait for my new bed frame to come in :)

We are pretty happy with Ashley all and all, not having our furniture at this point, of course. My husband and I wanted to test the sofas and recliners on our own. For the most part, our salesperson, Jason, let us do this. He would step in and pointed out special features that would be beneficial to me in particular, as I am disabled. Hopefully, delivery time will be quick. I have heard several people tell us that their deliveries are have taken as much as a year to deliver. They told us 2-12 weeks. Hopefully they can deliver.😊

I recommend Travis, if you are visiting Ashley on Jefferson. I was researching adjustable bedframes, mattresses and reclining loveseats. My husband recently diagnosed with Huntington's Chorea Disease and will be needing this type bed as disease progresses. Travis was kind, understanding and helpful. Looking for reclining loveseat without a console, so I can set beside him, versus in separate chairs!! My money is limited and need to look for best deals. Travis was understanding and compasdionate this was in June. I went in to see Travis in October to make the deal on mattress and love seat. I needed to use to separate financing companies to get everything. Again Travis was understanding, helpful, and I never felt judged by him. Absolutely wonderful man. Please see Travis if looking for furniture, Travis knows good CUSTOMER SERVICE. In completing the process- working with Tonya, was a different story, I fell judged and like an inconvenience to have to work with 2 finance companies, when introduced to my husband and his Disease, she couldn't of cared less. Very sad and hurtful to my husband, he didn't know it. But I did. Currently waiting for my items to come in, very excited and anxious to help my husband out. A huge thank you to Travis. Spent an entire weekend looking for a couch that we really wanted and liked. In less than 6 months it started falling apart and we constantly have to put these buttons back on, if we can find them. Low quality. Cosmetically it's not that big of a deal but they probably won't last that long either. Waste of money.

Wasn't given full details that they'd give us a credit card kinda thing in the mail, that we never agreed to, and that said card would drop our credit scores. And can't call the store and reach a real person to address this so not thrilled with their customer service and definitely not buying furniture here again if this is how they want to do business.

Came in to look at chairs. Don’t normally buy the first time in the store. Jason Morgan waited on us and was very patient taking us all over the store. Please don't be misled by my review. Although the salesman was personable i have personally experienced what i would call shady tactics. Unfortunately working with ppl who live off commission often have a specific character type. READ EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE PURCHASE QUANTITY OF EVERY PRODUCT. The delivery personnel were fantastic, just so it was said.

I walked in wanting to purchase a kitchen table set. Phoenix, the product specialist, was eager to find me exactly what I was looking for. He asked me a few details to get an idea of exactly what I wanted. After he found out what I wanted, he took me around and showed me a few different sets of tables and explained each one individually to me. He went over all of the details, including the prices. I had my very active 3 year old with me, who wanted to run around the store, look and touch everything. Phoenix handed him a toy & he was content for a little while, lol. I quickly found the set I wanted and instantly fell in love with it. The process was very fast and surprisingly easy. CONS: I was hoping to walk out with my new table and didn’t realize I would have to wait 2-3 weeks to get it. So that was a bummer. Upon checking out, I noticed a $400 charge that I didn’t ask for (will double check the price and update if I’m wrong). It was for the warranty. I was never told about the warranty during our talks about the tables, nor was I informed “I had to have it” until I was literally checking out. I didn’t and don’t need/want it and will be looking into further, but I truly want the table that I purchased.

Our salesperson was so great at her job that she convinced us that our furniture would arrive within 2-4 weeks. We only figured out after reading the fine print on our receipt that the actual timeframe would be somewhere between 2-12+ weeks. We are now 9 weeks in and can’t get a realistic time frame, only to be told that all sales are final. Oh and the occasional robot text that claims to be from our salesperson touching base, yet when we respond to it we hear nothing again. Thanks Sam! You seemed so empathetic while listening about our unfortunate experience moving to Indiana, looks like you were just trying to get your sale no matter what it meant for our situation.

Horrible experience. Saw my delivery stop was skipped, I had to call them to see why and they said they didn’t load it onto truck bc it was damaged and has some finish issues they’re trying to fix before they can reschedule and send out so not only did nobody call me to inform me but they had me waiting around and take day off from work for this delivery they knew wasn’t going to happen. Finally got a call back and they had a different one they could get to me today, received it and the furniture is broken and chipped in multiple places. **Update ** I was given a new piece to exchange for the damaged one the next day and had it delivered by 2 amazing guys. Quick response and great resolution.

Ashley furniture will overcharge you for cheap furniture built by child slave labor, then you will have the luxury of paying way too much for delivery. If you're lucky, you might get furniture that had animal excrement on it and the owner had us clean it off as best we could. Or better yet, LIVE RODENTS, yes they even deliver live baby rats to their customers. If you work for them, they will over work and under pay you, lying about your starting wages and then they will even take money out of your checks if you don't agree with their deceptive business practices. They don't maintain vehicles, they work drivers over the INDOT limits for driving hours,

BE VERY CAREFUL PURCHASING FROM THESE PEOPLE. I had purchased all our furniture from them in the past and recently started to replace the stuff I purchase 15 years ago. Don't believe the hype with the interest free marketing. The interest is tacked onto the price of the furniture. Had to fight with them after finding out my bill was $1600 more than what was listed online. Now the price decreased again and they won't match the price. Its been 8 weeks and I still don't have my furniture. AND.... of course non-returnable because they had to order it. Very disappointing. At least I learned this with the first round of purchases to replace old furniture. *** And you send this message below to make it look like you actually care. I have reached out to your store. I have reached out to corporate and still your not willing to honor you price match policy. Don't make it look like your doing anything to help because your not. At least I have my furniture now.
We had great service. We met Sedina a few weeks ago when we first started looking for furniture. She was very helpful and not pushy, we liked that a lot! She is very knowledgeable. After a couple of weeks, we came back to Sedina to buy the furniture.

Yes they have nice furniture. But the customer service was terrible. They are kind to you and willing to work with you while you were in the process of purchasing. But as soon as you complete your purchase, their customer service was horrific. I was told five different things about the couch I ordered no one knew where it was her when it was arriving. I was promised that it was a quick ship item. Meaning it was already in stock and didn’t need to be made, and then I get told it’s in production so it’s not being delivered for another month. Then I called back and they said it’ll be delivered this week, then I called back today and it’s not gonna be delivered for another three weeks. They have no idea what’s going on, their sales person completely lied to me about the status of this order. Would never buy another piece of furniture from them again.

Sales people very nice and delivery was within 10 or 15 minutes, of the 3:30pm to 6:30 pm delivery times; and set up took 20 minutes to 30 minutes to set up and Christian and his partner in the delivery of the furniture were professional, friendly, and respectful.

Just beware that if you get an in store credit…that credit would NOT be allowed to purchase anything at a sale price. It would only be able to be used toward the full price, which nothing in the store is seemingly the full price. Shame on you Ashley Furniture.
Our experience wasn’t the best. The customer service while shopping was good. I personally didn’t like the associates following me all over the store, it was uncomfortable, but they were still good. We asked to price match a couch, but they wouldn’t because they couldn’t guarantee the 3rd party resale would have as good of quality compared to straight from Ashley themselves. So we decided to stay with Ashley to make sure we receive good quality. However, when the couch arrived the quality was awful. We should have saved ourselves $4-500 and go with a 3rd party seller. The sectional came extremely crooked/off-square (by 2 inches) in multiple sections of the couch, among other problems. It looks crooked and has a few-inch gap between sectional pieces. We were pretty upset with the quality and reached out to their customer service that we were told to contact. They emailed back next day and basically said there is nothing they will do for us and that their quality is sometimes different per item made. I don’t trust Ashley now, and will not shop with them again and will be letting others know if their poor quality and customer service.

We've bought many Ashley furniture pieces over the years. This time we purchased a dining room table & it arrived within a few weeks. The sales guy was very nice & not pushy. He made sure we got the best price possible & was patient with our decision making. We paid for the white glove delivery & set up. The two guys were very friendly & introduced themselves to both my husband & I. They were careful with the furniture & had it set up within 15 minutes. The one guy even complimented my plants - said they looked nice which was very kind. We will definitely be going to Ashley again in the future. And paying for the delivery & set up was well worth it.

Sedina went above and beyond when helping pick out our furniture. We came in with general ideas and she was able to quickly direct us to items that exactly matched what we had communicated. She was knowledgeable about each item and was able to speak to the materials used and benefits to each type of build for each item. She also was playful and comfortable with our curious 2 year old. By the end of the visit our daughter was sitting on her lap and offering kisses.

Absolutely ridiculous! After two years to the day of delivery, my electric recliner stop working. The motor would raise the leg rest up, but not down. I contacted Ashley via email because that is the only way they want to be contacted. Over the next three days they requested numerous pictures and videos. The frustration mounted, after three days I was told the motor was discontinued and there was nothing they could do. Finally spoke to the service manager directly. She was adamant that the motor was no longer available. I urged her to do some research. The company sold 100's maybe thousands of these chairs, there had to be a replacement motor available. She indicated that she very much doubted it, but begrudgingly would reach out. Later I received a call that they had found a motor , would order it , and charge me accordingly for a tech to come to my house and do the repair. This was $189. A few weeks later, the tech arrived. I asked him if I should keep the old motor and see about having it repaired. He kind of snickered and asked why? I relayed my story and how hard it was to get a new motor. He was perplexed and stated that he had "plenty" of these motors and the service people did not know. The tech was great, but an overall horrible experience. I will not shop there or their sister store, Klopenstein ever again and neither should you. Update: I sent a copy of my review and your response to the email address you provided. To date, I have yet to receive a response. They have done absolutely nothing to " make this right".

Update: Upon trying to get the delivery scheduled I had a date that later got pushed out to the next week. I decided to pick the furniture up myself. After speaking to several people this seems to be one of the biggest issues with Ashley. When I got home and unpacked everything all was good except the headboard was busted. I was told the new piece would be shipped to me in 7-10 days. When I asked for a tracking number I was told it won’t be shipped for over a month, that I should just set my bed up with what I have. Needless to say I am not happy with the service on a brand new purchase that I spent thousands of dollars on. Btw I was offered an in store credit for my trouble. Not sure how much since that information wasn’t offered. Travis was very helpful not just over the phone but in the store as well. He knew exactly what I was looking for and made sure I left the store with exactly what I wanted.

The delivery men were on time and polite! Even with my house being difficult they were willing to help make sure that the couch was going to get into the house! The only little thing that was both frustrating to us and the delivery men was the one couch didn't have its legs with it. But the guys reassured me they would have them delivered to me and someone would be out to put them on! So over all very happy as always with Ashley's furniture!

I made the mistake of shopping here again, after purchasing a terrible set of couch and love seat. When I made this second purchase, they assured me they could deliver late in the day/into the evening. This was important, given that I work during the day and they only deliver in my area one day a week. When I received the text to call and schedule the delivery, I did so. Again, I asked to make sure it was a late delivery. Today, I receive my estimated delivery as 1030-130. I call and am told if I reschedule there will be a rescheduling fee. I am so done with this company.

Very good experience with Ashley furniture. Salesman found exactly what I was looking for at a very good price. Manuel rocker/recliner with heat and message for $490+ stain resistance and tax. Came out to be right around $650 total. I was expecting double that. FYI I’m 6 foot 3 and 240 pounds. Chair was very comfortable and my feet didn’t over hang on the chair while reclined.

The only reason I'm giving a three rating is because of the unprofessionalism of a few of the employees at this particular location. Our sales associate Jay was very friendly and professional, he had to tell the employee's to calm down a bit because his customers couldn't hear him talking. These employees were laughing loudly, and making jokes and one of them was laying on one of the beds on her phone. For a store like Ashley I would expect more. If I wanted that kind of atmosphere I would have gone to American Freight. Jay deserves a five star review, we did purchase furniture from him, because we had already been there awhile; if it was something that happened when we walked in we would have immediately left. So we were a little disappointed

Awful! we waited over 6 months to get our furniture. Half of it arrived broken. Delivery drivers left trash and Styrofoam all over the rooms, furniture and driveway. We have now been wait almost two months to get our furniture fixed almost a year after we bought it. The manager is incompetent and offered a small gift card to use on a pillow. I will never go back or recommend to anyone unless a lot changes

We went to the Ashley on Lima and had a horrible experience, we were being followed by our sales rep and he was watching over our shoulder even when we asked for him to step away. It felt like we were being suffocated and couldn't get a chance to breathe or think. We found a couch we loved on our own and our sales rep kept trying to show us other ones instead of offering us a deal. We went to Ashley on Jefferson and they were wonderful. The atmosphere was the complete opposite of the one on Lima. We asked our sales rep to show us the couch and they offered us a deal much lower than Lima. I would 10/10 recommend going to this store over Lima any day. They were quick, listened to our needs and gave us plenty of space. Total game changer. I'm glad we were able to get the couch we wanted here instead of having to go to a different company.

He was very patient with all of my questions, mapped out how to best place the furniture in my space, and helped me make the best choice for the area I had to work with. I am not one for perusing furniture stores, so take this all with a grain of salt. I felt the store was laid out well, and it was welcoming/inviting. All the staff I interacted with was friendly, but Sedina Bear in particular was amazing. She educated me on the style of furniture I needed for myself and my family/friends (350+ lb men), differences with fabric feel/care/ware, and was able to find what I was looking for in my price range. That last part is a huge deal with inflation now as I am buying in a budget, but need quality furniture that I enjoy seeing and sitting in. I don't know too much about the company, but I would 100% go back for the experience with Sedina again.

Got here during the time they said. The guy said that they were sorry they didn't get there a little earlier but was waiting on the rain to stop. Only problem we had is that one of the pillow cover was wet and stained and we have to wait until next week to get it new one. They were fast in setting it up.

We were bombarded with 3 separate people within 10minutes of entering this store. The first of which couldn’t help us for longer than a few minutes and call in a “specialist” a younger blonde women with a rather short dress attempted to help us. She then stated she would leave us alone to look and circle back for us. We were left alone for mo longer than 2-5 minutes when she came back with a wha appeared to be a manager. We felt quite cornered as we were seemingly pushed towards a type of fabric that we had already stated 2 times that we did not want. After 2 minutes of failed attempts from the manager who was a heavier bald middle aged man he seemed to give up and walk a way saying “good luck” as if we were being way too picky which I think we need to be picky if we are to spend a sum of money. We were very uncomfortable after only maybe 15-20 min inside the store and couldn’t wait to get out of there. We had visited klopefenstein furniture where we were welcomed and ended up going back due to the better service

He wasn’t getting compensated nor making a commission but still went out of his way to find an identical part. I love my furniture. I wish I could have gotten it sooner. It took almost 9 months but, it's been a rough time for everyone this past couple years. I understand and know that it wasn't the store's fault it took so long. I would by from them again. The staff is all very helpful and nice.

I was a cash customer. Sectional was delivered months later with damage. Also, a table had to be repaired. It's been over a year since delivery, I still need fabric replaced They have someone different to talk to each time. And ordered wrong parts that lost money missing work. Now they have outsourced an answering service. It seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and I'm very frustrated with them.

We purchased two rocker recliners from this location earlier this year. We paid for the extended warranty, which we were told was $50 per chair. In the end, we were charged $150 total. We let that go. We chose to pick the furniture up ourselves over having it delivered. The warehouse was the most chaotic, disorganized, poorly ran place I've seen. It took forever to get our chairs and be on our way, but we also let that go. At the time of sale, our salesperson went on about how wonderful the warranty and service department is, and really baited us with the fact that they will come to your home and fix the furniture there, or take it to be fixed if it wasn't an easy fix. This week, we emailed the service department to notify them of a broken foot stool, and try to schedule someone to come out. We were then notified we would be charged a $129 service fee, which was never disclosed to us. My husband called to speak with the store directly, in which he received a very unapologetic, "We can't help you." We spent more money than we should have to go with a reputable brand in the hopes we would get what we paid for, but in this case, we have wasted money on a company that is not out to help potential returning customers. We will never return to this establishment after seeing the way they do business.

Our salesman, Luke, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Because the wait was so long, I called once a month for an estimated delivery date. He was always accommodating and apologetic about the delay. Excellent delivery crew also. Julian and Gage were very careful in bringing in the big furniture. They showed us the various features of the couch. Very helpful and friendly. They were willing to move the heavy couches wherever we wanted them. I was very impressed.

I had never been to a Ashley Furniture store and didn't know what to expect. I was greeted right away with a woman with a friendly smile. I told her I was looking for a sofa and loveseat combo. Very good experience from shopping to delivery. The furniture arrived quicker than they thought it would. My only complaint is the furniture was in boxes and I was not told that when I purchased them. Now I have huge cardboard boxes that I have to try and get rid of. It's not a big deal, but that's the only issue I had.

Over the last two days, I have spent probably six combined hours going to four different local Mattress Stores located in Fort Wayne. My last stop was Ashley Furniture before making my decision. I knew I would be investing a lot of money in a high-end mattress and that I would be investing in my overall Health. I wanted to make sure I did all my due diligence prior to making my purchase. Sedina at Ashley Homestore immediately greeted me. She was able to put together my purchase checking every single box of what was most important to me. I have been in so much pain from my previous mattress my #1 priority on the new Mattress was a quick delivery. She was so knowledgeable all about each component of my purchase. From the Tempur Pedic mattress, to the base, to the sleep tracker, to the protectors, pillows, sheets etc. She knew the ins and outs of every product. I was so blown away by her knowledge, her expertise and the willingness to go above and beyond. After finalizing the mattress of my dreams, I was taken to the counter to check out and was assisted by Tonya at Ashley Homestore. Tonya was able to coordinate every single item of my purchase to be delivered in 48 hours. By the end of my transaction, I was so overwhelmed with Joy from their ability to help me every way possible I literally cried. By far the best experience, I have ever had when making any purchase. They made me feel like we were in the purchase together. Big thank you to Sedina & Tonya for not only wowing me with your service but probably changing my overall health for the rest of my life with this purchase. I don’t think I could ever explain my gratitude. Well done Ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't live in Fort Wayne, but ordered a 4 piece sectional from the Ashley Furniture website. I wanted to order online because of a terrible previous experience I had with the Ashley location in Mishawaka, IN. Not sure why I dealt specifically with this location, but that's the way it went. When my sectional arrived at their warehouse, I received a call that there was a problem processing my credit card. This was not a problem at all, as I moved and my billing info had changed. So I contacted someone from billing to update my information. She provided me a link to update the info while we were on the phone. At the end of the call, she verified that it updated and said she would release the hold so the store could schedule delivery. Someone from the store tried to call the next day, and when I answered, they hung up. I tried to call back, but did not get an answer. Unaware of what was happening, I waited a couple weeks before finally reaching back out. This time the lady I talked to said the hold had not been released and that she couldn't do anything about it. She said she would have her manager call me on Monday as she was off the day I called (Thursday) and also Friday. She made sure to tell me that she was also working Monday so she would make sure I received a call. No one called me at all that week. I received the call the next Thursday, two weeks after I called them after not hearing anything. The delivery guys were great, and the couch is fine, but there is a clear lack of customer service company wide. This is my second poor experience with Ashley, so I will never be going through them again in-store or online. Only took me $4000 to learn my lesson. Hopefully this long-winded review saves someone else from making the same mistake.

After asking a few questions, he showed us a couple other options that would meet our needs. I bought a mattress, mattress cover, box spring, and bed frame from Ashley HomeStore. Product Specialist Luke was very helpful in deciding which mattress to buy. Luke was professional, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable and he took the time to answer all of my questions during my visits to Ashley HomeStore. Other staff members were polite and helpful as well. I had my mattress and box spring delivered. The delivery was done by Devon and Jacob. They were both friendly, super helpful and made the delivery process quick and simple.

Sedina was so knowledgeable and helpful and made the shopping experience fun. Usually I dread going into a furniture store because so many times sales people have just hovered around me that it is hard to shop. But Sedina gave us time to look around on our own and checked in periodically so as not to hover.

Julianna was awesome! I always hated furniture shopping because of pushy sales people and them trying to box me into selections I was not very interested in. Julianna changed that! She asked all about our preferences, showed us what was available and gave us time and privacy to discuss what our options were. She even rearranged pieces from other settings to help me with visuals. We left the store undecided and needing to take measurements but sent a text letting us know she was still there to help. Yes, only 1 text and not a hundred! We went back the next weekend and she answered all my new questions without being pushy, and we left after ordering our new dinning room table set.
Love our new sectional and we fully understand the effects of Covid on manufacturing that created a long, LONG delay. Our only complaint is the lack of information as delays continued. It was up to us to call Ashley to ask about the progress or lack thereof of the order. An occasional call to check in would have been a more appropriate experience for a purchase that was paid in full.
This was a seamless purchase and delivery. Sean and Devonte were extremely professional- masked and extremely respectful. Mattress and pad delivered - excellent positive attitudes from both young men. I asked them to save the plastic - they did just that - wrapped the old mattress for me and placed it in the garage at my request. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Shout out to Steve Reid in the Ashley Homestore Fort Wayne for taking on a problem he had no part or commission for . I have been a long time customer of Ashley Furniture in Mishawaka . However this last trip to this location will be my last . I purchased a room full of furniture on August 15 2020. I was told 3 months for my order due to pandemic things were taking a bit longer . When I arrived home after my order I realized a 400 item was not ordered . I called and reordered that with The salesman Matthew . On Nov 9th I called the store inquiring about my furniture and when it would be arriving . Hoping before Thanksgiving . I was told in writing that 3 pieces were missing still hopefully soon . I called back again Dec1 hoping again before Christmas . I realized on the order one piece was ordered with power recliner and 1 was not . Again paid more money to fix that error. I again said when is this order coming ? He said in writing Shouldn’t be any longer than Jan .Feb at the latest . But no promises . Come March 7 months later I called to talk to the owner. No one should wait 7 almost 8 months for a room replacement of furniture when they said 3 months . The Mishawaka store told me the owner doesn’t take phone calls would I like to talk to the manager . Concidering the managers was my salesman ( who was very helpful on the sale of the furniture ) but already two mistakes on my order and I was lost at what to do next on my patience waiting to get my furniture. I called FW for advice to see what and if they had any advice on why to do . That’s where Steve Reid took over . Not only did he help me figure out where my furniture was he made multiple calls and concerns on following through until I finally received my order on Sat March 20,2021. Had he not helped who knows if today I would be finally sitting on my furniture. To all sales people out there this message is for you . It is not only being top sales person it’s the follow through that brings a customer back. If an order is delayed call your customer and let them know . The customer shouldn’t have to keep calling you . I get it things happen beyond anyone’s control but it’s the caring that matters . And it’s the caring that will bring the customer back to your store someday. Or the one who will make you dislike a place and go somewhere else because you didn’t really matter . You got the sale so whenever you get the product oh well . That’s how I felt. And if you make a mistake on someone’s order you eat the cost . I was explicit on my purchase at the time of our sale of my needs . Rushing causes errors . Ones that I later came home and caught . If you wanted me to return a simple apology even would if been kind . So again on a positive note without any x pay I want to than Steve Reid for the customer service I experienced even tho it was not his store or customer for making things right . My next purchase will definitely be through him and only him from here on out . Thank you

I would hire these two to move me if I ever move . They are a asset to Ashley Furniture. If I were Ashley furniture I would pay them well to keep them .

I bought a couch for my daughter and I bought living room furniture for me. I spent around $7000. The couch I bought for my daughter I spent extra 500.00 to get a extra warranty because she has a dog and toddler. So she made a claim. The couch looks terrible it is falling apart and it has only been a year and of course they said no sorry thats not covered. The sales person told us that if anything happened it’s covered. Don’t get there extra warranty. So now we have to take the time to call the Better Business Bureau to make a claim about bad business practices. And from there small claims court.
Phoenix was exceptional to work with - both knowledgeable and accommodating. The selection at Ashley furniture was a unique combination that works well with my eclectic decorating style. I will shop there again and ask for Phoenix!
I went into the store in search of a new couch and ended up purchasing a new couch and new coffee table. I was assisted by Tia and Luke and could not recommend them more highly! They were both so welcoming and knowledgeable of their products, providing lots of advice and direction without being at all pushy. In a time where good customer service seems harder and harder to come by, these two set a wonderful example. They made furniture shopping a fun and stress free experience and I will definitely be returning for any future needs.
I do not know why Ashley furniture charges almost $200.00 for delivery! I will never ever buy a thing from Ashley EVER again!!! Plus you have to put your own furniture together!!!!

My husband, daughter, and I had an amazing experience at Ashley Home Store today! We were helped immediately and by a really sweet sales lady. She got us the bed we NEEDED and didn't push for a sale on anything we didn't need. There were also many other nice salespeople that helped us out. My daughter ran around the store and had fun because everyone just gave her attention instead of complaining that she was loud. This was definitely the best sales experience I've had in years! While delivery is not instant, they gave a realistic wait time window and we were pleasantly surprised to have our furniture arrive in only 5 weeks. Delivery was smooth. The tracking helped to narrow down wait time, and when exactly to expect the truck. Delivery guys were professional, swift with unloading and set up, and really great at making sure everything was perfect. Can not recommend Ashley enough!!

At the time my mattress was delivered on Feb 4, 2021, the delivery guys ripped it while trying to get it into my room. I immediately notified Marc that evening. I explained that I was concerned that warranty would be defective. After several days, no response from anyone. I made a trip to the store and spoke to Marc again. He said I had to deal with customer service who will handle the claim. I called and spoke to someone in customer service who emailed me a claim form. It clearly says any rips to the mattress voids the warranty. So, I complete the paperwork to get the $3000 mattress replaced, nearly 2 weeks later and a couple of emails, no response. Finally, I go into store on Lima Rd. and they get someone on the phone by name of Michelle who says that Beauty Rest does not replace mattresses. My only recourse is to accept a technician to come and sew my $3000 mattress. I have paperwork which clearly states, torn or ripped mattresses voids the warranty. Michelle offered a $100 discount. I threw the phone down on the desk and walked away. Issue #2: Two weeks after I received mattress, I went to store and said that I am having back aches daily each morning after sleeping on the mattress. Marc said give it 30 nights because there is a break in period. 28 days after sleeping on it, I go back into the store and am tol the store that says 90 day comfort guarantee. Basically I was told nothing could be done. Beauty Rest has no policy for comfort they say. I pointed to the sign and no such disclaimer. I was escorted out of the store by someone who claimed to be a manager. I asked for his name, he refused to give it to me. Beware! Read Google reviews before purchasing from this business! Look elsewhere Issue#3: their sales receipt sales says all sales final no refunds or exchanges. Stay away!

Travis and Kara made shopping for furniture one of the best experiences ever. I had no idea what to buy or how to decorate. I was so afraid of making the wrong decision and ending up with something I didn’t like. From the second I walked in the store, Travis treated me like I was his most important customer. He showed me a few things to get a feel for what I liked and then he and the decorator Kara literally came to my house to pick just the right pieces. Once the pieces came in, they came back and made sure everything worked as planned and put the finishing touches on everything. They literally made me feel like a princess throughout the whole process. I cannot thank them enough! I love my new furniture and how it transformed the look of my whole house! I’ve been working with Sedina at the Ashley store in Southwest Fort Wayne for a couple years and I can only sing her praises. She listens to exactly what your needs are, gives her honest option about what will probably work best and is incredibly personable and fun to work with. The first couch set I purchased with her, she tried to advise me against but I was set in what I wanted... one year later I returned for a sectional. I should’ve listened to her in the beginning because she knew best! Everyone in the store is friendly but not too intrusive if you’re just trying to browse. I will 100% be returning to this store for future purchases.

I went into Ashley out by Jefferson Point and had an idea of what I wanted! I worked with Tia that was simply amazing not a typical sales person she listened to what I wanted and what was in my budget! I went through Progressive Leasing which I've used before and loved the program no credit needed and got the perfect sectional! She informed us about the wait time due to covid and let us know when it arrived. She was knowledgeable with fabrics and knew how to tell me facts of what I wanted for our family with a toddler and dogs. She didn't make me feel like she was trying to sell me each sectional we looked at buy instead told me what was the best option for our family! I would definitely recommend going in and at lease talking to her if your wanting a new big purchase that will last. Had an amazing smooth and simple experience without second guessing because she had the facts!

Will lie to you about anything to get you to spend your money. Do not recommend. They told us what all was in the warrantyand did not let us read. Said they would even fix the cooshens if a pet rips a hole in it. So of course we paid extra for the warranty. Now is refusing to cover it.
Great sales service (Sedina is the best) but be warned: even if your product is faulty they will not offer returns or exchanges. I bought a new bed and within the first 90 days it broke while I was laying in it (the support cracked and the headboard landed on my head). I don’t want this bed anymore and have been told there’s nothing they can do except provide replacement parts. It’s been more than 3 weeks and I still don’t have a functional bed to sleep in because the parts haven’t arrived. I will not shop here again.

We have bought a few pieces of furniture here. While the sales process is decent, the follow up and should any issues arise after is complicated and unhelpful. We bought an expensive leather sectional and the reclining mechanism broke and it is a struggle to find out who to contact and how to fix. Every avenue seems to lead to another call or email that needs sent.
Honestly, I was nervous walking in to look at mattresses. This was my first experience at Ashley HomeStore and Sedina made is so easy. She made an instant connection with me and settled my nerves about how to go about getting a mattress. All in all, I got mattress, I WILL be going back to Ashley HomeStore, and I'll want Sedina there to help me with what I need!

UPDATE: It has been nearly two months since making our purchase and the furniture still isn't here. We received a message giving us an ETA of the end of September. Ashley Home Store refuses to refund us despite these issues. The only redeeming quality I've seen thus far is Juliana. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere unless you are comfortable waiting months for your furniture.

Buyers beware! We ordered a sofa, loveseat and ottoman on June 22nd which was a standard floor model in one of the two fabric colors which was standard on the floor models. We were told we would not be charged until we receuved the goods. Two days later the charge hit my credit card When we questioned that we were told the sales person was wrong. We were given 6 to 8 weeks for delivery at the time of sale but there were some in the warehouse. Mid July we were told the goods would be received by the store the end of August. This date was confirmed in a text at the end of July. By August 4th we were texted that the store would get the goods the end of September, over 3 months after purchase. We told them we want our money back. They said no. They did not have the goods, had not paid the corporation for them, had not made them etc but would not credit us for goods we had not received or would receive timely! Buyers beware!
I had no plans to purchase that day but after my knowledgeable and friendly salesperson named Juliana told me they offered 90 same as cash through Progressive leasing why not. She knows her products. She offered great customer service and has helpful ideas.

My wife and I spent several days looking online for a sectional that would work for us but nothing ever seemed right. After taking just a couple steps into Ashley Homestore, we were greeted by one of their extremely friendly staff members, Juliana. After asking us just a couple questions about what we were looking for, she directed us to a sectional that we couldn’t live without. She took our budget into consideration and did not try and push us over it like most salesman would do. She took the time to draw out the dimensions for us using a program on her computer just to make sure everything would fit well in our living room. The only negative we could possibly give is the wait time for our sectional. Because of the times, it will be 6-8 weeks before we get our couch but that is pretty standard across all furniture stores right now. We are just extremely excited to get our couch and we have Juliana and Ashley Homestore to thank for that!

She took her time to explain the product, warranties and shipping deadlines. This experience has been a joke at best. I would recommend going elsewhere for furniture needs in the future if you are reading this review. First, salesman (Mark C.) was a fast talking BSer that is not very intelligent or had a difficult time understanding the English language with poor math skills. Second called to schedule pickup at warehouse and lady forgot to notify and was close to their end of day. Had to come back and then was originally told the size of shipment but they were wrong therefore made three trips to warehouse to pickup stuff that was a 45 minute drive one way. Also sent email to corporate office sharing displeasure with salesman experience and what was actually ordered as supposedly what was supposed to be order and of course for the same quoted price from Mark. 10 days later still no response from the original email. As I indicated before severe disappointment and would not recommend Mark or Ashley Furniture of even understanding the word customer service let alone providing good customer service.
Juliana was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was personable and professional as well as made you feel like she known you for years. This was the first place we shopped and honestly she was the reason we didn't go anywhere else. We usually shop around. Shes is a definite asset to Ashley Furniture!!

Travis was great to work with, but so many things have gone poorly with this furniture at this point that I cannot recommend this furniture store/company to anyone else ever again. To begin with, the prices are high. Do not buy unless it's on significant 'sale'. Even so I accepted this and figured that part of the high price was due to the fact that they assemble the furniture for you. That being said, I still expect high quality matching high price. So the trouble started with delivery, the delivery people wanted to assemble our new bed frame but not place our bed (purchased from Ashely about a 1-1.5 years prior) in it. I then felt that the 'lead' person was fishing for a tip which I honestly didn't mind so I offered the two of them $20 each to move the bed so that the new frame actually served a purpose (frame - bed = ?). Not an issue there, and we were okay for some time after until the 'lead' mentioned that he was in a hurry because they had one more house to do and they were taking their child trick-or-treating tonight. Understandable, but unnecessary to tell me and should not be an excuse for mistakes and poor work. They began bringing the bed frame and other furniture in and during that process the 'lead' hit the ceiling light in the hallway which I'd previously warned him about, resulting in it cracking the fixture and shattering the bulb. I told him no big deal, we would just replace the bulb and turn the fixture backwards so that it was not visible from the more frequented side of the hallway. Things went smoothly after this, minus another $20 each for them to fix the chairs we ordered a month or two before from Ashley furniture that were not level and wobbled very obviously. They eventually finished and left. They spent a very long time in the delivery truck at several points either assembling or attempting to repair damage to the furniture that we did not immediately notice (I assume). The top corner of our nightstand was damaged at some point as the wood has been shattered into layers. The only thing I can think of is some sort of impact or poor quality control during assembly as there is enough paint to hide the splits when looking from a distance, but up close you can see the substantial damage to it. There are nicks here and there on the furniture which, when paying the price we paid for everything, I expect it to arrive in flawless condition. This is new product, not used, and this is a single floor home with plenty of space so delivery should not have been an issue. In total we purchased a table + 2 chairs for the kitchen, 2 cabinets for the living room / area, a bed frame, 2 night stands, a vertical dresser, and a horizontal dresser. Every single piece has an issue, ranging from uneven assembly (clearly visible from a distance) to outright damage to the product. Doors and drawers do not line up properly, the coating on the table is uneven and has odd jagged flakes extending in places, assembly is inconsistent and to the point that it really needs to be redone, there's even nails stick out inside of the dressers that can cut and stab you, drawing blood, if you aren't mindful of them. I do not understand what I'm paying for when the assembly and even some of the initial construction of the materials is done poorly. The worst part of it all? All of this could have been avoided with proper quality control procedures and training of employees. I WANTED to like this store and I WANTED to keep Travis as my go-to furniture guy. But if this is what I can expect with every purchase then there is no reason for me to continue to purchase here instead of the many other places that sell furniture for the same price or less. In short: Buy with extreme caution and examine every single piece that you get THOROUGHLY. I thought I was being cautious, but there are some things that you simply wouldn't expect... hidden nails and painted over physical damage among them.
I had the pleasure of working with Sedina today. She was very patient and extremely knowledgeable. My mom has worked with her before and we only exclusively go to her. I would definitely recommend looking for Sedina if ever you are in need of new furniture!
I bought my couch and loveseat and received it on Tuesday and they didn’t even give me my back piece to my loveseat and can’t get anyone to answer the phone!
Initial sales person was great. Delivery men left handprints on sectional and bed headboard as well as a disturbing odor throughout the house when they delivered my 3 items. My bed frame broke within 3 months of delivery. My couch frame broke after 4 months of delivery and they are charging for a technician to come out to repair it. Service does not check their email and only way to get into contact with them is by calling their line. Furniture is not sturdy like the “floor” pieces are. When I contacted the sales person to tell her of the demise of what she sold me, she said I’m just a sales person. Next time going to buy furniture elsewhere where there’s better customer service.
It it such a breath of fresh air, to encounter someone in 2020 that cares about their customers!! Mrs. Sedina was 100% truthful about each product we inquired on!! She never tried to push us to get more then what we came in to buy! She made me feel proud and comfortable with our furniture!! Thank you all so much!

Huge mistake to buy our sectional here. First they lie to us, we purchased the sectional before thanksgiving, and then they promised that we will get it before the holidays. Guess what, its already January and we still dont have it! The receipt says guaranteed 2-6weeks delivery, its been more than that. No compensation at all from the sales mgr., just some excuses! They ruined our plans for the holidays because we didnt have that furniture! Thank God i didnt come back to buy the dining set. We will never come back to this store. I shouldve listened to my hubby, we shouldve looked to other store or stick with value furniture, they never delivered furniture this long! Let the waiting game continue... Beth Z.
I was looking for an end table and had a particular style in mind. Valerie was my Sales person and she showed me several tables which were all beautiful, but just not what I wanted. Then, I saw it.. Sitting all by itself just waiting on me.... Valerie was awesome. Very friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. My husband isn't a shopper but he sent me in to pick the furniture out and then said he would come in to help finalize the last decision and setup payment. The sales associate was SO VERY helpful, his name is LUKE!! I was amazed at his patience and Non pressuring selling skills. We are returning customers and was greeted immediately as we walked into the store by nice young man named Lyrik. It was on a Sunday as our plan was to look around and get some ideas but not to purchase that day as we like to do our research. However we did end up purchasing that day with the great assistance we received from Lyrik! He answered all of our questions and let us take our time to look around with not being too pushy which my husband and I both appreciated. I would even say he went above and beyond trying to locate the furniture so we did not have to wait a long ETA, but unfortunately that was not available. We have been patiently waiting for our furniture roughly about 5 weeks which he informed is of this at the beginning. What is also impressive is he has remained in-touch with us during this whole duration and updating us which brings us to today. Lyrik has been contact with us to confirm our delivery for this Saturday which we have scheduled and are so looking forward too! When we entered Ashley Home Store we were not planning on buying a sectional. We were only looking. However after seeing the quality, prices, and options we bought. Christina treated us like we were guests to the store. She was so helpful, but not overbearing. I will gladly return when we are in the market to buy more furniture.

Where do I start? Sedina is amazing and I want her for a personal assistant and new bff in life. I came in with half a clue, and she patiently worked with me; this is not an easy task for most. She wasn’t pushy, she figured out what I liked, and I didn’t even know what I liked. She was incredibly knowledgeable. In my world, product is the back bone to all sales, and Sedina definitely knows her product and is proud of it. She was fun and easy to work with and I can’t wait for my couch, love seat, end table, ottoman, and kitchen table and chairs to arrive. We downsized recently, and she worked off the lack of pictures I had available of my new house. I’m pretty sure I’ll be back for any furniture needs in the future, and if Sedina doesn’t join me out on the lake this summer, I’ll be sad. Girl, you made this experience less stressful and even fun. I will not do any more business with this store again. On October 31, 2019 my husband and I bought a bed from here and went it was set up it was damage. The drawer would not open plus, the front is broken. We called right away and told them about what happen and they said they would send out a new drawer but, as of now we have not received anything! Plus, the reason why I’m so mad is because I was told the monthly payments would be $75 but, when the bill came it was over double the amount agreed to. So, as of now I have a broken bed with crazy amount payments. I will not be back!!

I’m new to Fort Wayne, and can I just say that I have honestly been happily surprised at how welcoming everyone has been. When I went to Ashley furniture it was no different! I had spoken to Sedina, one of the sales people, over the phone maybe about two or three weeks before moving. She didn’t tell me to call back when it’s closer to my closing date, she took the time to listen to what I was looking for. Then she spent hours in store helping and my children pick out what things they wanted in their rooms. I didn’t buy anything that day but she had it all written down. When I had finally moved into my new home, the day I was able to go back to Ashley Furniture, was on her day off, and you know what?...she said give her an hour heads up and she would be there! That night the store closed before my husband and I were done and no one ever rushed us or even said they were closing! She had patience with us as we decided what was most important to buy now versus later on and was extremely respectful of our budget! Go to Ashley Furniture Fort Wayne and ask for Sedina!

Sedina is the very best associate! I love her style and how she guides me to beautiful decor for my home. I’m definitely going back for more. She showed me wonderful great room furnishings earlier this summer and now I’ve gone to her again for dining room input. I am still very happy with my great room. For the dining room she had a lovely buffet and shelf that were just delivered. The Ashley delivery has gone perfectly twice now. I’ll be back for my bedroom furnishings right after the holidays. We were in the market for new furniture for our house. After going to various stores in Fort Wayne, we went to Ashley on Jefferson blvd. We were able to find the furniture of our choice. Best part was customer service provided by store manager Travis. We went there like 6-8 times and each time we were given utmost attention. Travis has great knowledge about all of their products, helped us with all our queries and went above & beyond to make our purchase a great experience for us. I would definitely recommend to visit the store and see store manager Travis for your furniture needs, he is awesome.

Sedina Bear is awesome to work with. She had previously helped my mother when she bought a new couch and she was so helpful. I knew when I want to add a new sofa to my house Sedina was the associate I wanted to work with. I knew what I wanted and she was quick to get me set and on my way. She is now my favorite Ashley associate and I can’t wait to work with her on upgrading my bedroom furniture. Although they work on commission she puts the customer first and doesn’t try to sell you things outside of your budget. I wish I could talk her bosses into getting her a huge bonus.

This store has terrible customer service and refuses to stand by their products. My friend recently bought a mattress and was told there was a 90 night sleep guarantee. However, here it is 60 days in and her mattress is like sleeping a rock. This store refuses to honor what their salesman offered her, by say that the Ashley brand isn’t warranted like that. After how they treated her and not honoring or even backing their own Ashley brand, I will not shop here again. Which is the reason for the one stars. It is truly sad when companies refuse to stand by their own store brand products. Wish I could give zero or even negative stars.

Working with Travis at Ashley was made easy. He provides great customer service, he is knowledgeable on all products, and financing options. I highly recommend working with Travis at this Ashley Furniture store. I bought several rooms of furniture from Travis. Than I went back to buy a mattress, and than 2 end tables. This is an update on December 5th 2023. I purchased a new king size Stearns & Foster mattress and a new bed frame to go with it. As always Travis was an excellent salesperson to deal with and the two delivery men today that brought it into my home we're very professional friendly and told me exactly what they were going to do before they brought it in the house. Thank you again for the great service.

We will not be back. Overall terrible costumer service. I’m never one to write these reviews but this is worth voicing our opinion. After spending a lot of money and having multiple encounters that caused frustration, this store does not care that they provided such a bad experience. My husband and I needed a new bed and went in over Memorial weekend “the best weekend to buy a bed” according to them (even though we soon learned they can’t discount beds) We’ve never bought a bed before, so this was a new experience. The salesman, Mark, was very knowledgeable. We found that useful at first, then turned in to be overwhelming and avoided answering our questions by reverting to something that he did know. He withheld information on pricing until we said we wanted to take time to think about it and he freaked out because he didn’t want us to leave. He FINALLY told us about other pricing options. We found something that sounded like a better option for us. Still felt completely pressured but we did decide to buy our bed. The next stages of the process got worse. To help appease us, Mark said he could throw in the “nice” pillows worth $100 or give us in-store credit of $200. I wanted the in store credit. He kept saying “take the pillows” Mark then “talked to his manager” to make sure “no stone was left unturned”. All that came from that was him telling us the pillows were now actually worth $300 and the store credit was still $200. (Come to find out later that he wasn’t giving us a deal at all, that weekend sale said all beds come with pillows, so we got the standard deal and taken advantage of there.) So he stuck us with the pillows. We go to the service desk to finish the sale. He told us they don’t stock the bed, so it usually takes 2 weeks to come in. After 2 weeks, we setup silvery for another week after thy. Once we set up the delivery window, the time kept getting pushed back the entire day, we became the last stop which ended up being 9:45 at night. The two young guys weren’t shy about telling us we were there last stop and they were looking forward to going home. They brought our things in. Looked at the stairs and said they thought it’d be too small of a space to move stuff up there. We already moved 3 beds up there that were the same size as our new one. The delivery guys tried to move up the base for a total of 2 or 3 minutes, put it back down and said they couldn’t do it. So now what? One of the guys said they “had to call his boss”. I don’t think he even did. They said for liability reasons they couldn’t move up our bed. They said in order for them to take it back they’d charge us an absurd amount of our total bill we already paid! My husband called the store multiple times the next week. The first time my husband spoke the store manager who said he’d takes care of us. They kept saying they’d give us a call...which they never did. Finally after calling every day for 4 or 5 days, and a getting the reply of “there’s nothing they could do” even though the manager said they could. Eventually they set up a time for their “veteran crew” to come try to help us. After a week of our stuff sitting in our front entrance way, the guys came in and got everything up in about 4 or 5 minutes. The veteran crew apologized and said they’d give the other guys a hard time. now we finally got our beds. After 2 nights of sleeping, we discovered those $150 pillows were worthless. Completely flimsy, no support and gave me a painful head and ears when I woke up. After going to a different story to pay $100 in pillows, we called Ashley to see what they can do, including asking for our in-store credit they offered us before. My husband talked to one lady who said they’d call us back and also mentioned they don’t actually sell those pillows so they couldn’t refund us. One of the managers, Zach, who called back said there was nothing they could do since they were factory pillows.
When I rent to the store to look for furniture I took a layout of my room. Had no clue what to fit in it or exactly what I wanted. When I walked in was greeted with such kindness and asked how I could be helped, told them I need help with what to fit in the room. My salesperson was Sedina, she is amazing, she asked me some questions and showed me some pieces and asked me if I liked or what I didn’t like. Sedina is so helpful and not pushy, she has amazing ideas. Today my furniture got delivered by two awesome guys, they were amazing and did an awesome job putting my furniture in my room. I absolutely love my new furniture, my room looks AWESOME, I would Highly Recommend them. Best decision I ever made. Customer Service is AWESOME!!!

Sedina our sales lady went above and beyond for customer service! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because we specifically asked for the items to come to our house unboxed and it came put together. All dining room chairs were uneven and lots of dings in them. The service crew that came out to help were friendly but it took over 2 months to finally get all of our furniture right. The tabletop has a layer of resin slightly peeling and we requested for them to give us a new one but BEWARE there are no returns which was not stressed when purchasing furniture. Sedina was the only good thing about this purchase. She is very knowledgeable and friendly.
The gal who helped us was wonderful! Answered all of our questions promptly (and we had a lot of questions!) super friendly and personable and not at all pushy like a lot of sales people I’ve encountered in the past. She was very thorough in her explanations of things and took great care of us. Very pleased with our experience thanks to her.

I fell in love with a couch while at Ashley. The dimensions were clearly wrong, so the salesman did random math to tell me that the couch was 10 feet long. This was clearly not the case. He then complained about a “young worker not actually doing his job”, and looked to my mother to say “mom, you understand.” I felt blatantly disrespected. I then drove to my apartment in order to measure it to see if the couch would fit, then I brought my measuring tape back to the store to check the measurements. When I walked in with the measuring tape, the salesman seemed to almost roll his eyes at me. When I measured the couch, I was correct in my assumption that he was incorrect with his dimensions. This almost lost him a sale, as my wall was not 10 feet long, so the couch wouldn’t have fit otherwise. While checking out, we paid $100 to get it delivered. He said the estimated date was June 12. I asked the times, and he told me they delivered until 8 pm. So I said “great! I can have it delivered after work then?” He said “yes! They will call you later to schedule a date and time of delivery, but June 12th is estimated.” They called me June 9th to inform me that the estimated date was June 19th (Wednesday). When I asked a time, they told me they would call the day BEFORE in order to tell me a THREE HOUR time frame. I told them that I was under the impression I could choose a time, and she told me I could not but she would not do anything about it even though I was informed otherwise. If I wanted to choose a time, I would have to pay ANOTHER $100. I asked if they called Tuesday and told me a time for the following day that didn’t work for me, could I reschedule at that time? They told me that they would need 48 hours notice or I would be charged a fee. So basically, I would be given less than 24 hours notice, but I need to give them 48 hours notice. I also would’ve had to take an entire day off of work in order to be there. I then opted for them to deliver it on a Saturday instead. I called them the Friday before to ask for a time frame, and they told me 4:30-7:30. My niece’s birthday party was at 6:00, and she lives an hour away. I opted that this was okay because I could be late. When I called the delivery day in order to see if I could get a more narrow time frame, the representative informed me that there’s a way to track your order (something I had not been notified of before). When I checked, the ETA was 5, so I drove home to be there in time. When I got home at 4:50, the time got changed to 5:25. I was still content with this. At 5:45, I checked the ETA again, and it was then changed to 6:55. After checking again, it has been switched to 7:10. I am missing my niece’s 2nd birthday party because of misrepresentation on the salesperson’s behalf and because the tracking system was incorrect. The furniture is beautiful and decently priced, but the staff and misrepresentation have caused me great stress and unhappiness. I would not have purchased the $100 delivery charge had i been honestly informed that i would not be able to choose a time of delivery. I would have rather picked it up on my own. I would not recommend Ashley furniture to anybody. *update* Devonte and Alex delivered and set up the couch and were PHENOMENAL. They are the only reason that this review went from a 1 star to a 2 star. They made up for the awful customer service that I had prior to them. THANK YOU!

Went into the empty store on 6-11-19, and was completely ignored. I was there to look at their recliners. There were 5 employees inside the store, 1 at the front playing on her phone, and 1 outside in the tent. The employee on playing on her phone tried to cover when I complained about the lack of service, by saying they’re short staffed. Ridiculous. LaZBoy did customer service the right way, and came away with a $1900+ sale from me. Management needs to address the lack of customer service, unless they want to keep losing high priced sales. By the way, order online if you’re going to shop this place. The markup in store was ridiculously high compared to online for cheaply made foreign furniture.

We went in over the holiday weekend not really sure what we wanted or needed. Travis was so friendly and patient with us as we made our decisions. We really appreciated how honest and open he was about the products we were looking at. He stayed with us through the process and made sure we understood everything clearly. It was such a great experience! We highly recommend you ask for him! Update: I did enjoy Travis’ customer service. However their financing company has been an absolute nightmare to work with and screwed my credit without a payment being missed. Additionally, I specifically asked about the fabric holding up and was assured it would. Within months, the fabric had pulled up and feels awful. This couch was far too expensive for the quality being absolutely awful. Please don’t buy furniture from here.
So my wife and I went to look at king size beds and the saleswoman, Sedina, was very knowledgeable and helpful. She showed us exactly what we were looking for. She even managed to upsell us an adjustable base. However, after everything was delivered and set up we realized that the two pieces together are way too tall. My wife has to grab my hand just to get in bed. Plus our dogs sleep with us and they're used to just jumping out of bed. We're worried about them getting hurt. So, we sent Sedina a text message asking about the return policy and she said she would get back to us. We get 70% of the purchase price as in-store credit and get charged a 30% restocking fee!!!!! So apparently they don't care if you like what you bought, just as long as they get your money. I'd find someplace else to buy furniture.
After the purchase I found the customer service to be less than adequate. Items that were supposed to be free were now chargeable. Once the contract was signed and they have you locked in they were no longer interested in your satisfaction.
We have had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Ashley Homestore. We purchased a new bed and a new bedframe at the end of March. It is now June and we are still dealing with getting the damaged bed frame fixed. At the time of purchase, the salesman told us about an option for 0% financing for 12 months, and assured us that it was NOT a credit card. Based on how it was described to us, we thought it was in-house financing. A few weeks later we received paperwork in the mail, and low and behold, it was the CREDIT CARD from TD Bank (the financial institution issuing the card). When we called Ashley Homestore, the original salesman and another worker both kept arguing with us that it’s not technically a credit card because you can’t swipe it at a cash register (are you kidding me??). I had even called TD Bank, and was told that yes it is a credit card. We also received another piece of mail later directly from Ashley Homestore calling it a credit card. All we ever got from the original salesman is that he was sorry for the “misunderstanding”. It was NOT a misunderstanding, we were completely lied to. Then, when the bed and bedframe were delivered, we noticed several dings/scratches on the headboard and footboard. Their solution was to schedule a pick up of the damaged items a week later, and we were promised that they would either be fixed or replaced. After the headboard and footboard were picked up, we never heard from Ashley Homestore, me and my husband had to call them multiple times to get updates. Eventually we were told that the headboard and footboard were ready but that there was no room on their schedule for the ONE day a week that they deliver to our area and were going to make us wait ANOTHER week. Eventually we got the headboard and footboard re-delivered almost THREE weeks after they took them away (I was initially told it would take a few days, maybe a week). After inspecting the bed, we noticed one spot that was not fixed and several NEW damaged areas. After I called Ashley Homestore once more, they told me to email them pictures of the damaged areas again and that they would call me back within a few days. They never called, I had to call about a week later, left a message, they STILL didn’t call back. I had to call again, they then told me they would send out a technician to our home to fix the damages. Now we are forced to wait another 2+ weeks for the technician. This entire process has been frustrating to say the least, and what makes it worse is the horrible customer service we have received. NO ONE has apologized for the lying about the credit card, the damaged items that we have received TWICE, the non-returned phone calls, the huge inconvenience the calling/emailing/scheduling has caused, or how we had to be without a bedframe that we fully paid for for almost 3 weeks. This horrendous experience has convinced us never to shop at Ashley Homestore again!
I love my set! I got a leather set and my two huge dogs have been jumping all over it. Had it for 6 months now and still looks brand new!
They have some really nice wall art. Found what I was looking for and everyone was very pleasant.

Haven’t received my furniture yet and it was ordered on April 6th and was told it wouldn’t be delivered until April 30th. So far that is my only complaint.
My experience started out great great salesman and everything in fact I returned a week later to buy a bunk bed set...I was told my order would take a couple weeks it took over a month...I spent 2 grand in that store just to have a rude lazy delivery guy come to my house and try to pull a drop and run...When I told him I had paid for setup..He told me I didn’t have enough space to assemble the furniture which was a lie, and that they only removed Ashley brand furniture... Has this should be explained prior to paying delivery fee.. It was my first time purchasing from Ashley and my last...I have 2/3 things assembled and old items to dispose. Very unprofessional..I’ve had a much better experience with delivery with Value City Furniture try them first.
They made purchasing my new bed super easy. Also, the men that delivered the bed we professional and didn't mind that my dog just wanted pets. She was kept out of their way, but they both pet her before she left. They were efficient and made sure everything was where I wanted it. I will definitely be coming back for my other bedrooms!
We went into the store on March 10th and ordered a few pieces of furniture, they said it would be in mid April. We were ok with that. It is now 3 weeks into April and they just informed us that it will be another 2 weeks. Shame on you Ashley homestore for being liars and not letting us get our money back. We will NEVER shop with you again!
It was a joke, they played the switch and bait ,he really thought he had a sale I will not go back to the 1 out west . It wasn't a sale
Sedina was my Sales woman an I told her what I wanted she found it,got me All the Way the together ☺ My Beautiful Furniture came yesterday an the Delivery Men were very professional an so NICE Thank you Sedina an Ashley Home store Im in love Til next time an it will be very soon (Basement) needs a new look NOW.
Don helped us pick out a new sofa today. He told us about construction, fabric, and other advantages of their furniture. Good experience!
My overall experience with Ashley HomeStore was incredible. I took quite a while to make my decisions and worked with three different associates before making my final decision. Jake, Zach, and Travis were all super helpful and patient with my indecisiveness and gave great styling advice and guidance. I would highly recommend Ashley and working with Jake (north location) or Zach and Travis at the Jefferson location!

The whole experience was fine and painless. We were told that our furniture would be delivered a certain day, then received a call that it was a later date because they were full. Already waited a month for it now longer
