Ashley Furniture I do not even know where to start. It has been a whirlwind of a bad experience. My wife and I walked into Ashley furniture seeking a bedroom suite for our master bedroom in the new house we just bought. We found something we liked but we’re not to fond of the price. The salesman did a great job and explained the benefits of buying a nicer set and that in the long run the price is worth it. We bit on his sales pitch and decided to purchase especially after he promised us the whole order but one piece would be in our house in a little over a week and a half. Fast forward a week and a half later when I did not receive an update on our order I called the store. I was told over the phone that I would now not receive my order until the first or second week of September. I explained what I was told by the salesman and I was told I was being a liar and that I was not told that by the salesman himself. I asked him if there was a way we could get the bed and best frame in a separate order so my wife had a place to sleep in the new house and he said he’d try and get it done and said he could get the pieces to ship as available. Fast forward to the middle of August I was told that none of the pieces would be ready until September accept for the mattress we purchased and a chest. Those were delivered to my house in August and I still had to wait for the bed frame two night stands and a dresser. Fast forward to September, my order was finally delivered. Great! Except, there was a broken side rail that happened during delivery. The delivery guy apologized to me and told me he’d get a new rail ordered and shipped to my house. At this point, all I could do was laugh and shake my head. I accepted the new piece and at least was thankful they would send me a replacement since it was not my fault the piece was broken. October came around and we have had our furniture for a month. I had not heard from slept about when our replacement piece was supposed to arrive. I made the call to the showroom on Lima road who forwarded me to the service center. While talking to the service center, I explained what happened just for them to tell me that the delivery drivers never communicated to them anything about a broken piece. The customer service rep then told me they would still send a technician out to fix the piece. My optimistic self figured that they were going to show up with a new piece to replace the old one. Well today, the service guy showed up with no new piece and just a bottle of wood glue and a clamp. I asked him if he had brought a new piece and he said he was told he just needed to come out and fix it. I asked the man to leave and have a manager call me. I then called the store again and was explained that even though I purchased the item and the item came broken, the service center and showroom have full confidence that a service technician could have made the piece “like new.” I erupted and explained to the sales manager that I spent plenty of money for functional NEW furniture and that I did not want something “like new.” The sales manager proceeded to tell me that he could see what he could do but that I needed to reach out to the service center again to request a change. I did exactly that. I was then told by the service center that because they were not communicated to by the delivery drivers they would not normally send a replacement piece and that the warranty only covers a “fix” by the technician. She did go on to tell me that they would send me a new replacement and that I would have to assemble it myself and that they would not send anyone out to do it for me. During this whole debacle, I was never offered a solution, a discount, or refund for part of my bill. I’m not the one to ask for handouts but this was a big ol mess. I was offered a “coupon for my next visit.” Thank you Ashley for a horrible experience. I will not be back. Nor do you care because you just care you got my money and have no sense of customer service.

Initially felt like a good experience in store but after receiving the furniture and the customer service experience after I have to change my rating. The sales reps said and did all the right things in store to get me and my wife to purchase a couch set and bed with adjustable base, but ultimately we feel misled at the end of the day. We got a leather couch set which we were assured would be scratch resist etc, we've had it for 10 days and there are multiple marks on the loveseat and a small hole on the recliner, all near stitching. The adjustable base that we purchased was not the exact one we tested in store but we're told it would have the zero gravity setting which it does not have. We said we didn't want the massaging or oscillating features but were not told that we would not be getting that specific setting. Throughout the process we were told multiple times that all sales were final ko refunds etc. We decided after about a week to try and look into it more because we were just really upset, only to find out there actually was a 72 hour return policy in the terms and conditions, I suppose that's out fault for not reading them in full while 5 employees stared at us signing paperwork. We tried calling anyway and were told nothing could be done since it was beyond the 72hr window. I asked about the remote setting for the adjustable base and was told I'd be texted the directions because the installers did not leave any instructions, I never received the text or any additional information. I was also not told how the financing worked and that it was through a 3rd party, so when I received a random credit card in the mail I assumed it was spam and chopped it up and threw it away, little did I know that was actually extremely important and necessary for me to be able to pay for this purchase I was duped into. Fortunately the customer service for that financing company has been a lot more helpful in this process. Every time I deal with people in sales I go into it too naive apparently and think they really want to help, but they just say what you want to hear and various taglines to get a sale made at the end of the day. I hope for the future I've finally learned my lesson. Won't be shopping here ever again, and won't be letting any kind of sales rep follow me around a furniture store again.

AVOID Ashley Furniture!!!! We purchased and ordered a chest of drawers and picked it up without incident. But after unboxing at home we discovered significant damage. There was a major dent/smash spot on the top of the chest, A 2 inch crack on the left frame, all of the cross boards were separating from this "frame". Also the frame was coming apart from the left front and left back of the chest with approximately of a 1/4" of separation. There are also several loose screws on the left side of the frame. In addition the drawers were very hard to remove and did not open and close easily. So much damage on the chest that it should easily be considered a total loss. We called the Ashley store as soon as they opened the next morning. Ashley 6334 Lima Road Fort Wayne IN 46818. They asked us to send picture and video of the damages to their service department via email. All of which we complied with. Their proposed solution was to order parts to repair the frame of the chest. No mention of the difficult drawers or the smashed top, or the front and rear separation from the sides. And they would inform us when said parts arrive and WE would need to bring back the frame unit to their service department for repairs to be completed. Who knows how long this would take. And it would not address all the damages. From my understanding particle board and engineered wood can NOT be satisfactorily repaired anyway. We purchased a NEW chest of drawers. Not a refurbished one. The one we received came damaged at no fault of our own. Which is absolutely terrible, as the chest was seemingly dropped or mishandled somewhere in their own supply chain. And should have never been passed on to us their customer. So this proposal was not acceptable to us. We then called the store manager, Luke Rittenhouse??, hoping for a NEW replacement or a store credit to buy a different chest. He told us that his products may be of poor quality but its okay because other stores (Walmart, etc.) don't sell perfect products. Absurd! He said that they do not offer replacements or refunds on any purchase. Whether said product arrived damaged or not. The Ashley website states that is does offer refunds and replacements on damaged items. But never the less I asked him to forward the stores policy on its no refund policy, he said he would text it to me, but he never did. That also seemed super unacceptable. So Ashley furniture just steals customer’s money. Or offer them refurbished products’ claiming they’re new. AVOID THEM! If I could give 0 stars I would

The sales person was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. However, things went downhill after that. First we received a text message with information about someone else’s delivery, which included personal information. Then when our delivery arrived the delivery people refused to tear down our old bed, which we were told they would do, and take it out to the curb for trash pick up. The delivery people said they are not allowed to touch our old furniture. They then said that they would give us 10-15 minutes to tear it down and have it out of the room or they would unload our new bed and leave it for us to set up ourselves. My wife has chronic pain and walks with a cane but they made her and I to do this for a king sized bed. We did get it done in time so they set up the new bed. However, they delivered the wrong base and brushed it off as not their fault. They also did not get our mattress covers off of the truck. We had to drive back to the store which is in a town about 30 minutes away. They found that the invoice was correct that they had loaded the wrong base on the truck. They said that this is the 3rd time this has happened this week. Talked to the manager who said he would talk to the delivery manager about this. When we got home we realized the mattress covers were not there. Called the store and reported this. The delivery manager called and said that the mattress covers came back on the truck. He said he would take them to the store and we would have to go there to pick them up. I reported to him about their refusal to tear down the old bed and the time limit they gave us to do it ourselves. He confirmed that they were supposed to tear down the old bed and said he would talk to them. He also said that the correct base would be delivered on Monday (this was Saturday). So we had to make another trip to the store to pick up the mattress covers. The person at the front desk laughed it off and said that this happens often. Talked to the manager again and he said he sent an email to the Service Dept, but he could not do anything else. No offer of compensation for all the problems. Will not recommend buying from this store!

Honestly if I could give them no stars I would. My fiancé and I have waited so patiently for our furniture to arrive from here (ordered in February 16, 2021). They gave us a delivery estimate of 4-16 weeks. This week is the 16th week and we called after they informed us last week that we would be receiving a call this week or last to deliver the furniture. I called this week because we have not heard anything and it is the 16th week... they answered that it has been pushed out again. To the end of the month. I asked and mentioned I understood that we agreed that it was 4-16 weeks but not that it would be longer than that. THANK GOODNESS we did not order a new mattress from here like they tried to upsell us when we were there, we would not have a place to lay on. I guess what is most upsetting is that the sales team/guy tries to guarantee you a short delivery time when you are there to buy and get you to move forward with them. But when push comes to shove and their "guaranteed by April delivery should be NO PROBLEM" doesn't happen and you get upset, you as a customer have to be the good person and be understanding because it is hard times. If the sales guy would have been honest and we would have considered it and understood but he pushed so hard and now we are upset and our plans based off of his promise put us in a new home without anything but our island and bed to sit on. Another thing is that the sales people do not communicate with you if things change with shipping... the communication lacks so much. If it was there, you would have better experience maybe and be less upset. But that is not the case and it was expressed to the sales rep. COMMUNICATION REVIEW: 0/10 Customer Service: 0/10 Honesty: 1/10 (it's like pulling teeth) Happiness: 0/10 Will I ever recommend or come back: HECK NO Also, customer service just sucks in general. When I tried speaking with someone a while back, they answered the phone without their name. I asked who I was speaking with since I shared my name and they denied giving me their name by answering "You are speaking with the office" in a really rude tone. I cannot speak on the quality of the furniture because... we have not received it of course but I will update you. I am a very patient and understanding person but hate being walked all over by a company that we are giving our money to provide a product for us. We aren't asking for charity.

I would never recommend this place at all. Only reason I even used this place is because a few years ago there was a very nice older guy that worked there. Couldn't afford anything at the time but just looking around to see what we have to save for. Well I didn't listen to my wife took upon myself just to try out these guys instead of Value City. Which I knew prior there was going to be a wait which I'm fine with. But when my wife decided she wanted to check on the order because we asked for a weekly update. Jacob said and I quote yeah I can do that not a problem. They pretended that we never ordered from them. Not even 10mins of her calling Jacob texted me said no update. Imagine I'm hard at work an my wife told me the front lady she spoke was a little rude to her. So I decide to treat them the way they treated my wife over the phone. So I let it go so after about 2 more weeks April 30th my wife decided to call again because she wanted to see if there's progress because when they go to deliver I have to plan it at my job. The front lady again pretended she couldn't find it. So we called the customer service line for Ashleys gave them our order number on our reciept she managed to find it. The lady we spoke to there said it looks it was entered correctly into the system. She told us that our sales person put in what color we wanted for our couch. While we explained to her Jacob said and I quote it only comes in 1 color. She then proceeded to tell us it comes in either charcoal grey or like a lighter grey mix between grey and white. We told her we just stay with the charcoal grey like it was displayed in the store. And she said that was a easy fix an we should have it by the end of May. So today comes I. Recieve a private number calling me from Ashleys. Imagine again I'm at work no phone policy in which I told them during certain hours just to call my wife. The guy proceeded to stay no update yet. I proceeded to ask him if they care at all for their customers because I certainly do feel like they do. So after a few words we hung up. Nothing accomplished. After I receive my furniture after Christmas the way these guys handle it their excuse it the pandemic. My job is in a pandemic but we manage to get our product out an if we treat customer bad we are held accountable. Never again will I ever shop here.

We are incredibly displeased with the service we received at Ashley on Lima Road. We have worked with the other location before and have always been happy. We ordered two chairs and a table in January. The chairs came in quickly but the table did not. We asked to have the chairs delivered and then said we would come and get the table when it came in. Then we waited. And we waited. And we waited some more. Then I started asking when our table would be in. Beginning of April I was told. But in the beginning of April I was told the middle of April. And in the middle of April I was told the end of April. And guess what happened when I called on May 1st?? No table. Now it is supposed to be the middle of May. I asked to cancel the table, no can do as they do not have a cancellation policy. I asked to get a different table and my sales person told me they can't do that either. So, after trying to speak with my sales person again and getting nowhere I called to speak to the store manager. Of course, you can't do that on a weekend as they are simply too busy. Too busy to help a client who is severely displeased?? So I called back Monday and spoke to the store manager who told me he would have my sales person reach out to me. I asked for another sales person and he seemed shocked, but finally told me he would get another sales person to give me a call and perhaps we could pick up a different table. That was Monday morning and now it is Wednesday night. I will NEVER purchase from this store again. When a customer is upset and frustrated, instead of blaming it on Covid--yep, they told me with everything going on in the world right now it shouldn't surprise me that my table has been pushed back multiple times. That is an excuse if I ever heard one. Not only will I not shop there again, I will be sure to let others who are looking to buy furniture know how their customers are treated.

The initial sales was fine. Nothing overly pushy, and we ended up purchasing a coffee table for around $900. We were given an estimated 4-16 weeks to deliver; however, were all but promised by both the sales person and the lady at the sales desk that it would be more like 2-3 weeks. It has now been 18 weeks, and there is still no coffee table in my living room. We have called off and on after about 6 weeks of waiting to get some update on the estimate. Each time we are told that the sales representative that sold us the table or the manager were unavailable and would return our call. They never did. Not once. After waiting two more weeks after the 16 week mark, we finally spoke to a manager and asked to cancel the order and get a refund. She would not let us speak, she talked down to us, and she told us that she would no longer talk to us and to direct all communication to their lawyers. This is the old bait and switch. Treat you well until you give them your money, and then they turn around and either ignore you or treat you like garbage. I will never shop here again, and I strongly urge anyone thinking of going to Ashley Furniture to go elsewhere. There are many comparable and better places with much better customer service and order policies in town. And am not an unreasonable person. We understood the delays; however, the treatment we have received since the sale us appalling. The lack of updates, estimates, or attempts to resolve the issue are unparalleled in my consumer experiences. I have just disputed the charge with MasterCard. Oddly enough, the CS rep that took my dispute report had a similar experience with Ashley as well. I thought it was just a small world, and then I looked around the internet for reviews of this company and their policies. It's all the same... Don't shop at Ashley in general, and certainly do not shop at the Lima store in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is the old bait and switch customer service.

Not sure if everyone knows this, but each location for Ashley Furniture is independently owned and operated. So, taking that into consideration, know that I am not bashing the whole of Ashley, but the Lima store location specifically. Be careful when purchasing, even the most mundane and stock set items like, say, a coffee table- which is exactly what I purchased on October 27th of 2020. They make you sign a contract without actually telling you what is in the small details, like the fact that you cannot issue for a refund or cancelation- even if you never get the product. Shipping states it'll take 4-16 weeks. Employees say 2-3. By 18-19 weeks, you would expect to have your product, right? Wrong. And when you call this specific location multiple times since the purchase date, you will get a full run around with no end in sight, telling you that they have no idea where your table is and you'll need to speak to the Manger or the sales rep that you bought from. But then, gasp, neither will be available. Not on any of the days or times you call. But they will tell you they will have them call you back. But they, of course, never will. Until one day, you finally manage to speak to a manager, who then yells at you, doesn't let you speak, tells you to speak to their lawyers without giving their contact info, and then hangs up on you. We were treated like human beings twice since walking into this location of Ashley Furniture: once- when we were making the purchase and then the second time- roughly 6 weeks after the purchase when asking for an update. After that, they have your money and you become nothing more than the dirt beneath their feet. Oh, and when you try to contact corporate to see how you can possibly handle your lack of product delivery, guess what? You have to go through multiple channels to get to this specific location's corporate office. And when you do? They don't take calls, so go ahead and send them an email and see if they get back to you. I'll think about updating this review once I've finally spoken to someone who will actually treat me with decency and common courtesy. Until then, enjoy the 1 star, which I wish, upon everything, that I could make 0 or negative. In short, do NOT recommend. Kittles is so much better. You can actually get a specialty ordered couch faster and with more respect than Ashley on Lima deigns to give you a stock coffee table. And that's WITH the covid shipping delays.

I had no problem with the sales experience initially and when I made my purchase - warm and welcoming staff. However, everything changed after I made my purchase and signed my paperwork. I witnessed staff members verbally arguing with each other in front of me and other customers with one hanging up on a customer saying "don't give them a date, never give them a date". I was actually told by our sales associate before I paid that the delivery time was <2 months max. My mistake was signing the paperwork that stated delivery could take up to 16 weeks. Over the next several weeks, my wife was texted by the sale associate every 1-2 weeks and was told "any day" and sometimes "1 week away" (for 3 months the same messages...). Around the 10 week mark, I went into the store to cancel the order and was told this is not allowed under any circumstance. I was shown the fine print of the paperwork I signed. On that paperwork it states "estimated arrival time 4 - 16 weeks". Our furniture was not there at the 16 week mark. I called today, after 16 weeks to cancel the order and was told "sorry but that's just estimated delivery not actual, you still cannot cancel, all sales are final". I mentioned recuperating the payment through our credit card company since the item did not arrive in the 16 week timeframe and I was told "we will provide them with the paperwork that you signed which indicates everything is just an estimate [so it would be futile]" and then I was then hung up on. This was not only disrespectful but infuriating and I attempted to call back a few times and no one would pick up. I was able to get another manager at a different local store who promised me the manager of Lima Road would call me. This never took place. I am at a loss of thousands of dollars and several hours of time. Bought a sectional in the Fall, to have for Winter, and it's now almost Spring... Delays are one thing (I'm a reasonable person and understand that we're in the midst of a pandemic) but misinformation, lack of transparency, and disrespect is another altogether. This is currently an unresolved issue. Please take my advice, and don't make the same mistakes I did. By the way if you look at BBB (for northern IN) it is a C+ rating, fraught with similar complaints, and not a BBB-accredited business. I would take your business elsewhere.

First, we would like to take responsibility for not simply saying "no" and this nightmare would have gone away. We did bow down to pressure to make a deal, because "these deals won't last past today ". That being said, we were missed lead on, from the salesperson, if dimensions of the couch were too large once we arrived home to measure we could return or receive a store credit. Per Chris the manager insisted it would fit through our door way, although, the dimensions contradicted his argument on their website. He didn't offer any help with just canceling the order that was placed less than 24 hours prior. Chris said we already purchased and they couldn't cancel at this point, and actually suggested we could hire a lawyer but ALL furniture stores practice this of once you buy there is no canceling the order simply because you have buyer remorse. In my follow up to his suggestion, at least one of their competitors, in the Fort Wayne market said this isn't always the case and there are always exceptions. Chris went as far as to suggest if we couldn't afford it "l should look at my finances before I decide to buy". I found that to be very demining. Nevertheless, we look to recoup some of our down payment and purchase price once everything arrives, by selling the furniture on Ebay or other online sale apparatuses. Lesson learned, don't give into sales pressure or you may be in this same situation. 12-21-19 I was reluctant to respond but reached out to the number provided, 48 hours later and didn't receive a Courteous return call. At this point really no one to blame but myself for a terrible decision to shop here. Another example that customer service is dead in this world. UPDATE: 2-15-20 Never recieved a follow up from my original displeasure. This is absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. We called about the finance representative had no resolution for us and was quite rude. This is an obvious example once you buy they wash their hands and could care less about your experience and certainly your expectations. I WOULD NOT EVER SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE. MY FUTURE FURNITURE EXPERIENCE WILL BE WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND WILL PASS MY DISPLEASURE ON TO ANYONE I KNOW.

UPDATE: I tried reaching out to the number in the reply here and was told it was the wrong number and hung up on. This company is outrageous. Contacting an attorney. WARNING ABOUT ASHLEY FURNITURE: I purchased a living room set on December 8. I was told at the time it was on back order and would arrive the beginning of January. When I didn’t hear anything by the second week of January, I reached out and was told there was a mix-up with my couch, but it should arrive soon. I finally get a call third week of January saying my set had arrived, and they wanted to schedule delivery. I tried to schedule it for my next day off, but was told I couldn’t have it until February because they were so behind on deliveries. I explained that it would be a full 2 months since I had made my purchase and asked if they could do anything to try to make it right. The girl on the phone said, “No, these things happen”, in a very rude manner. Fast forward to this past Thursday (Feb 8 ), when my set was supposed to be delivered. I wasn’t allowed to see the delivery time until the day before and if I tried to reschedule it said I would be charged again. Lo and behold, my delivery time was set for 7-10 pm😡. What kind of company thinks this is appropriate? But, my hands were tied, so I waited for them to show up. 9:30 pm rolls around and I get a call that their truck is stuck in a snow bank and they still have 2 more deliveries before mine. I told him about the 2 month wait and how a delivery this late was very inconvenient. He then tells me that the company who brings them the merchandise went bankrupt and that’s the reason everyone has been waiting. He then offered to deliver it on his day off (Sunday/yesterday), and I have the texts to prove it. Wouldn’t you know, they never showed up. I had people who cancelled their plans to sit and wait for this furniture and nobody even had the courtesy to respond to any of my messages. Now this morning, my phone is blowing up with calls saying I had a delivery scheduled for today. 😡 Well, I have screenshots of my original and rescheduled delivery times to prove that’s a lie. They literally don’t care about their customers, and they don’t even try to hide it. If you’re thinking about using this company, think twice.

My husband and I went to Ashley looking for some furniture for our nursery. I am 23 weeks pregnant with twins, and am expected to deliver within the first week of April. We went a few days after Christmas, and had an amazing salesman who made the experience quick and easy. We were looking to buy the Willowton kids dresser, when our salesman quickly found that the adult version of the dresser was $100 cheaper, so that is what my husband and I decided to do. We also bought a beautiful recliner. He told us upon purchasing that the sale is final and there are no refunds UNLESS our pieces come damaged, which would obviously be on them. Well, guess what happened! The recliner came, and as far as I can tell, is completely fine. The dresser? Another story. My husband was here when all was delivered, and he said the delivery man even knew something was not right with the dresser. The complete right side of the dresser is totally damaged beyond repair. The strips the drawers slide and sit on are ripping out from the inside of the dresser, and we aren’t just talking about a few loose screws and bolts. The wood has even ripped off with those. Then one of the brackets looks as if it was snapped in half, and then hot glued/super glued back together. I am FURIOUS! We quickly called Customer Service who told us we had to schedule a time for their service guy to come see us. Well, after scheduling the wrong time, I had to call and speak with Customer Service again and the lady was very rude. Telling me that my husband and I needed to take off ANOTHER day of work to accommodate THEM, when THEY are the ones who delivered their brand new piece damaged. I do not have days to spare as I will be taking maternity leave soon, and I explained that to the lady. Then she asked my husband and I to drive the piece back to Ashley ourselves, where it could be serviced there. Because a 23 week pregnant lady can assist her husband in carrying a heavy dresser down the stairs and into our SUV. What an idiot. So now we have to wait until the END OF JANUARY for this service guy to come out at 6 in the morning because that was the only time he could come on a day my husband already has off. When the service guy we spoke to so he could already tell the dresser was not repairable. I have NEVER had these problems with Kittles or Klopfensteins, and will never be buying with Ashley again. Clearly, it should have been a red flag to my husband and I when they make you sign your life away at time of purchase stating there are no refunds. All I want is a NEW dresser for my little girls that is safe and functional, yet Ashley thinks it’s acceptable to come repair the damaged piece. What brand new piece of furniture already comes damaged? I will be telling everyone I know about my experience with Ashley Furniture, and it will not be a pleasant review.

Poor customer service! My salesperson was Sammy, who was nice and professional except for when it came to helping me with a customer concern. I received my order. brought it home, then realized the that both my receipt and sofa color were wrong. I called the store on sunday, let Sammy know my issues and she stated that she would let the manager know and get back with me. Since i didn't hear back on sunday the remainder of the day, I followed up on monday. I was then told that she was out off that day and that i needed to call back today, so i called today @ 10 A.M and was told to call back at noon when Sammy comes in. So i waited and called at 12:30 pm and then was informed she was off today as well and that her schedule had gotten changed. This wasn't the end of the world, as i had gotten to speak to the showroom manager. I explained to the manager my issues and explained i understand based on my receipt that i received what i paid for, however i explained this was not the color i stated i wanted when i was there back on 12/7. The correct color i wanted for the item was physically in the showroom and i showed her specifically that i wanted gray and not tan. Now I understand that mistakes happen but i am just wanting an exchange for the correct color, not even a refund. I who lives an hour away will bring the original sofa back and pick up the new once it arrives even. None of this mattered and the manager stated that i would be charged a 30% restock fee for the exchange. I was really trying to work with them and was very polite and was trying to give them a chance to keep my business and TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMER, but he stated this was all they could do as they were not willing to waive 167.56 (30% overstock fee) in order to keep me as a customer. I am very disappointed in their carelessness for the customer and to not care about the customers satisfaction at the end of it all. I was given the customer service number for this store and email, contacted them and they stated that this was a in store problem and that there was nothing he could do either, that it would be up the the salesperson to talk with them. With all this happening now, i will not recommend this place to anyone, as to taking care of customers does not appear to be a priority. Clearly based on the response from the owner they do not feel the need to truly understand the problem. Its comes down to what was originally communicated when in the store the first time. The customer wanted gray not tan. They clearly will always back their employees vs the customer no matter the circumstances.

I want to start out by stating that I have been an Ashley customer for years! Prior to moving to Indiana everything in my home was purchased From Ashley furniture of Orlando. So, in knowing the quality of Ashley furniture and they're great customer service it was a no brainer that I would go there to get my furniture for my Indiana home. I was greeted by the most pleasant sales person, Aubrey was amazing! She would be a blessing to Anyone's team. The nightmare started when we tried to schedule delivery. The window that I was given was off by 3 hours. I own a business in Fort Wayne and my time equates to money . I had to pay one of my employees to sit at my house for 6 hours waiting for someone to show up. When they did finally make it I noticed a blood stain on the cushion as well as grease stains on the arm and backing of the chair. I immediately called customer service and they apologized and said it would be taken care of. About 2 weeks later I got a call saying that they are going to come get the chair. The date that they are coming to get it is mid June. Keeping in mind I bought the chair in April. They came and got the chair again at a completely wrong time, thankfully the young man that picked it up was super nice and came back to get it when I could meet him. This brings us to yesterday, end of June when I get a call from customer service to tell me that the chair is ready and they are going to make me their 1st drop off at 7:00 a.m. FINALLY! Something appears that it may be going right at the store. At 6:30 I receive a call from the young man who is going to be Bringing me back the chair. It was the same young man who picked it up. I will have to give this man all the credit in the world because when he called me he told me that the back paneling Had holes in it and there was no way he was bring it to me like that because he knew I would not be happy. He apologized and said that customer service would call me and let me know when it would finally be ready. For the crazy amount of money I spent on that chair, I should not be having these problems. From what I understand from other people who have had very similar problems to me this is an independently owned Ashley's and not a corporate store. The sales people and the delivery people are top notch but, the customer service, morals and integrity leave a lot to be desired. I will not be returning! And I have seen other people who have left negative reviews and your response is to call customer service. Please don't belittle Me like that . I would rather have no response. Because your customer service is the part of the link that is broken.
