I didn’t intend to buy a sectional when I entered the store, but I was so captivated by the variety and quality of the furniture that I left wanting to purchase a sectional once I went home to measure to see if the one I wanted would fit. So the next day I notified the salesperson who was extremely attentive that I would purchase the sectional. The only thing that disappointed me is that you can’t get the furniture delivered without paying an arm and leg! Which should be included when you buy furniture!

Our experience at Ashley Furniture in Ft. Wayne was amazing! Jacob spent time showing me different styles of sofas and sectionals, asking me questions about my needs and what i was looking for. The store has a lot of furniture on display to sit in and try. The most important part of the experience was Jacob asking me if i wanted to sit on the sofa or in the sofa. I said sit in of course…he said then make yourself comfortable like you are at home! I found the perfect sofa and love seat for my family room and bought a sectional couch for the TV room. BUYER BEWARE ......After spending over three grand here just a year ago, including purchasing their protection plan the seam is coming apart on the back on the couch. After contacting them, getting the insurance contact information and then contacting the insurance I was told it wasn't covered because it was a quality issue.I then called then store and was told that I would receive a text giving me instructions on how to proceed(this was done within thirty seconds of me telling them the problem which says to me this happens a lot and they have it prepared..just have to copy and paste into a new text) I was then contacted and told seam separation wasn't covered and they asked if I wanted a quote on a price for a new part. Very disappointed and will never buy from them nor recommend them again. P.S. The furniture care protection plan does NOT cover the quality of the furniture so if you get it home and three months later the seams start to fall out you are out of luck

We visited Ashley Furniture in Ft Wayne, IN and worked with Remi. She was a wonderful partner to work with in choosing furniture for our living room. She is very knowledgeable about quality, style, durability, ease of cleaning and overall layout that best fit our room. She made several suggestions of recliner or swivel chairs to compliment the sectional we d chosen. I was looking at all pieces being the same style and color but her great design eye showed us options that would add color and/or texture to the design. Remi spent 2 hours with us helping us choose exactly what we wanted. She was not pushy, nor did she recommend the highest priced options. She went over our order in depth with us to make sure nothing was missed and even printed pictures of everything we were ordering. I suggest if you are shopping at the Ft Wayne, Lima Rd store, ask for Remi if you are interested in working with someone passionate about their job. I can't wait for the furniture to arrive!

Are sales person was pleasant and nice to work with however on my way home I told my wife they put us on a interest bareing account and she told me they have interest free for up to 80 months their website and also send me in the mail offers for the same. Three times we bought furniture and always got interest free. Now we’re confused and thinking about canceling the order. We will come up in tomorrow and see if we can get it resolved.

Matt was super helpful when my wife, son and I came in later in the evening looking for a new living room set. He was super attentive to what we were looking for but didn't hover, pressure, or rush us. We ended up finding what we were looking for that was within our budget.

I am very disappointed with Ashley furniture and your warranty service. They have been to my house 4 times, 3 times for the same issue and canceled or changed my appointment 3 out of the 4 times. Which I have had to take off work to be home. First was to repair a broken piece of wood then the foot stool wouldn't go down that took 2 visits and still was not fixed so the tech had to order a part which took 8 weeks to get and in the mean time the back broke which is from how hard you need to push to get the foot stool up or down and because it's all made of plywood. He said he won't be able to fix cause it's not on his workorder. I bought the extended warranty to fix or replace the furniture. I didn't think I would have to deal with so many visits for the same issue and lost time. This whole process started in early October it is now February 27th, and they still do not want to just change out the chair. Disappointed, Customer,

Pay attention carefully it seems you are getting a good deal. Make sure you check your invoice. I was charged over a $1000 on things I didn’t order and was told I’m through if this in for free. It wasn’t free. Feel like I was scammed

I Had a great experience shopping for new furniture for my bedroom. Overall good quality customer service and found the perfect bed and mattress with our salesman Malachi. The two gentlemen who came to deliver my 4 pieces were absolutely excellent!! They worked together like a good team to bring in, put together and place everything exactly where I wanted it!! They asked intelligent questions of me and the carefully listened to my questions and answered them to my satisfaction. They made sure I was satisfied with all the pieces and, in the case of the bed frame, showed me a QR code I could use to get specific instructions on using my remote control. I ordered furniture on 11/20/2024 and the in store experience was great! The furniture was delivered today, 1/9/2025. Unfortunately, the sofa/console table was NOT assembled even though at purchase I was told EVERYTHING would be assembled. I am waiting on management from the store to correct this issue.

Curious, timely service.

The manager on store who goes by the name Malachi is extremely rude! Below is the conversation which took place a few minutes ago when I enquired on the status of the items which we have been waiting to receive since several months. We ordered couple of items of which two lamps were to be picked up from the store (we were never told explicitly they are supposed to be picked up from distribution center). When I went to check on the status on Dec 23, 2024, this guy was the manager on the floor and told me that he will go and get the items from the distribution center. I offered to pick up from the store on Lima road as long as the items are there but his words were to the effect that he will make it right and gave me his number to confirm the next day. So I took his offer. For four days, no update. I did the First follow up myself on text on Dec 27th and he came back with the reason that his car is not working. Fair enough. Second follow up on January 4, and he comes back at me so rudely and texted back in a derogatory tone asking haven’t I read his previous message! And then have the guts to say that it’s not fair that he gets a bad review. Well, you are the one who spoke rudely, not your salesperson.

We walked into Ashley Sleep looking for a new mattress. After expressing our frustrations with ones we have bought in the past, Marc Ramsey did an amazing job! He was very knowledge, helpful, and friendly. We would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new mattress to go to Ashley Sleep Center and talk to Marc.

Ashley Furniture at Lima Road in Fort Wayne has a Customer First engagement model. I had the privilege of working with Sedina, Product Specialist, Malachi, Store Manager as well as the store’s administrative support staff. To give some context: On Christmas Day, I found a Harphan 60” TV Stand for my mother on the Ashley online website which would work for her wall space available and the new 55”Samsung TV. When I went back on the Ashley corporate online website to order it on the day after Christmas it was sold out. I went to the Ashley Furniture Store near my mom in Fort Wayne on Jefferson St to see if they had one on their storeroom floor or if the store could order the out of stock TV Stand on the Ashley Website. They were not able to order the discontinued TV Stand and had none available on their showroom floor. Audrey, Product Specialist, referred me to the Lima Road store. In my engagement with the Lima Road Ashley team, it was identified only 1 of the discontinued Harphan 60” TV Stands was available in Indiana. Sedina and Malachi worked with me to not only locate the Harphan 60” TV Stand at the Mishawaka Store but also honored the discounted Ashley corporate website price. The engagement with their administrative support team was streamlined. Sedina worked with me to also schedule the delivery date to a time when I will be back in NE IN to assist my mom with the new TV Stand and TV setup. Overall, I have been very impressed with the follow up communications as well from Sedina. The Ashley Store on Lima Road in Fort Wayne will always be my ‘go to’ store for Ashley furniture products in NE Indiana.

We had bought a mattress MONTHS AGO! And still haven’t received it. The dates keep getting changed and delivery is pushed back constantly. We had bout this mattress under the impression that we would get it in 2 weeks. (Promised by the salesman that sold it to us). 4 weeks ago by and I called, no bed. Another week goes by, no bed. They said oh you’ll get it by December 21st- we called, no bed. They said we’d get it by December 27th- they called us, no bed and proceeded to give us the excuse that it’s Christmas. I would have understood that if we bought the bed last week. But we bought it MONTHS ago. He had no problem selling it to us and getting us to buy but ones the transaction was done. All the care walked out to the door too. Seems like they’re just money hungry and don’t really care about their customers. I will forever blame my back problems on them because I should be sleeping on cloud 9 with my new mattress. Am I ever going to get it? Does anyone else have this same issue right now?!🤬

I admittedly have not had the best of luck with Ashley Furniture. That changed this weekend when I went to the Lima store location and met Noel. He took my attitude about my previous experience like a champ and then proceeded to change my mind. He was knowledgeable and worked for me in the space I needed him to without judgment. Don’t ever fall for their extended warranty BS!! They play dirty and don’t hold their end of the bargain! They sell you on it and when it comes time to utilize it they deny every claim!

Absolutely amazing!!!! Ray and Sedina went above and beyond helping us out. Thank you so much! They both allowed us to visit, revisit, and revisit the displays over and over until we finally were comfortable to choose. Then the store closed at 8, and they stuck it out another hour on Black Friday to help us complete the sale. I would 100% recommend that anyone who goes into the store to search both of them out. Bought Labor Day sale mattress and frame. It’s now Black Friday sale and I STILL don’t have my mattress or frame. Continuously told “it should be here next week”. I’ve called and inquired several times without any reasoning as to why it’s taking so long. Have yet to receive a call to schedule delivery. I think 3 months is excessive. Had planned on helping my mom purchase bed here as in store service guy was helpful but no longer recommend. Not happy. Where is my bed?!?

We had a GREAT experience purchasing furniture for the grandkids bedroom this past weekend. We dealt with Remi who was EXCELLENT!!!! She was very friendly from the outset but not overbearing. She helped us find exactly what we were looking for AND got us the best price I have seen, even online. Remi then introduced us to Mark in the sleep center to complete out the set with a new mattress set. Mark was great also asking all the pertinent questions to get the best set that met our needs. From there he let us try out several that fit this criteria. We were allowed time to ourselves to try these out and discuss without him hovering around. Very pleasant experience for once. It was nice to make a decision without any pressure. Back to Remi now to finalize. Since we purchased a complete package we qualified for FREE delivery and setup. Great deal. Completing the transaction was easy and the team in finance was great. I didn’t get her name but we had fun checking out and it made for a really great transaction all around. We would definitely recommend dealing with Remi and Mark if you have any needs. They were the best!!!

I bought a couch from this store and failed to measure my doorway which made my couch not fit. I was so stressed out but when I called the Ashley store on Lima road Quinn went above and beyond to ensure I could return the couch even though they were about to close. Then the owner himself stayed late to personally help me. When I went to revisit to find a couch that would fit Joanie was patient and worked with me for 2+ hours to make sure I got the right couch. We went into the store to just look. We were not sure what we really wanted but were looking for a loveseat. We have dealt with the manager Dave for multiple purchases over the years and he was great yet again in helping with our sales associate Remi for our most recent purchase. Many times when you think of buying a big ticket item, stress takes over. You worry about being taken advantage of, over spending, quality of the merchandise, etc. But, Sedina took care of us and all of those worries washed away. I took my Mother to purchase a new living room set. We told Sedina what she likes and what she was looking for and Sedina pointed us in the direction of the best living room furniture. Not only does this furniture check every box that my Mother needed/wanted but it’s checks boxes that we didn’t even know we needed/wanted. Dave the was first person to greet us when we got to the store. He asked us if we needed anything and just let us do our thing. Once he saw we were looking at sofas he came over and asked about what we cared about and wanted. He was very personable and aware, pulling into the conversation things he observes about us and mixing in his own perspectives - it was very comforting. He helped us narrow down choices, highlighting features and asking where in our home it would be going.Then he gave us space and time along to keep checking out furniture and time to talk - we appreciated this a lot! When we made our choice - he took our information and then ensured we’d get the best offer possible - which he did and $3k below original price and assured us it would be delivered before the holiday which we will host. Dave made this a great shopping experience and easier than we hoped. His knowledge and experience guided us to what we really wanted versus what we initially came in to get - and we are extremely delighted!

Ashley Furniture I do not even know where to start. It has been a whirlwind of a bad experience. My wife and I walked into Ashley furniture seeking a bedroom suite for our master bedroom in the new house we just bought. We found something we liked but we’re not to fond of the price. The salesman did a great job and explained the benefits of buying a nicer set and that in the long run the price is worth it. We bit on his sales pitch and decided to purchase especially after he promised us the whole order but one piece would be in our house in a little over a week and a half. Fast forward a week and a half later when I did not receive an update on our order I called the store. I was told over the phone that I would now not receive my order until the first or second week of September. I explained what I was told by the salesman and I was told I was being a liar and that I was not told that by the salesman himself. I asked him if there was a way we could get the bed and best frame in a separate order so my wife had a place to sleep in the new house and he said he’d try and get it done and said he could get the pieces to ship as available. Fast forward to the middle of August I was told that none of the pieces would be ready until September accept for the mattress we purchased and a chest. Those were delivered to my house in August and I still had to wait for the bed frame two night stands and a dresser. Fast forward to September, my order was finally delivered. Great! Except, there was a broken side rail that happened during delivery. The delivery guy apologized to me and told me he’d get a new rail ordered and shipped to my house. At this point, all I could do was laugh and shake my head. I accepted the new piece and at least was thankful they would send me a replacement since it was not my fault the piece was broken. October came around and we have had our furniture for a month. I had not heard from slept about when our replacement piece was supposed to arrive. I made the call to the showroom on Lima road who forwarded me to the service center. While talking to the service center, I explained what happened just for them to tell me that the delivery drivers never communicated to them anything about a broken piece. The customer service rep then told me they would still send a technician out to fix the piece. My optimistic self figured that they were going to show up with a new piece to replace the old one. Well today, the service guy showed up with no new piece and just a bottle of wood glue and a clamp. I asked him if he had brought a new piece and he said he was told he just needed to come out and fix it. I asked the man to leave and have a manager call me. I then called the store again and was explained that even though I purchased the item and the item came broken, the service center and showroom have full confidence that a service technician could have made the piece “like new.” I erupted and explained to the sales manager that I spent plenty of money for functional NEW furniture and that I did not want something “like new.” The sales manager proceeded to tell me that he could see what he could do but that I needed to reach out to the service center again to request a change. I did exactly that. I was then told by the service center that because they were not communicated to by the delivery drivers they would not normally send a replacement piece and that the warranty only covers a “fix” by the technician. She did go on to tell me that they would send me a new replacement and that I would have to assemble it myself and that they would not send anyone out to do it for me. During this whole debacle, I was never offered a solution, a discount, or refund for part of my bill. I’m not the one to ask for handouts but this was a big ol mess. I was offered a “coupon for my next visit.” Thank you Ashley for a horrible experience. I will not be back. Nor do you care because you just care you got my money and have no sense of customer service.
