The young salesperson was nice but she reassured us that there was no sales- after signing for the purchase my husband found the same piece of furniture online for more than $300 less. She stated “I guess we can price match” and we then had to start the purchase all over again. It just rubbed us the wrong way that we had to dig in like we did.
The guys who delivered and set up our furniture were professional and very nice!

Ashley furniture never disappoints. We bought a sofa there six and a half years ago and it is still like sitting on a brand new sofa. With help from the friendly associate, we were able to find a quality bed set in our budget and schedule delivery. They also answered our crazy questions about our previous sofa, and gave us all the info we needed. Completely happy and will shop there again.

Had a bed and furniture installed with Ashley Highland . Brackets , screws all incorrectly fitted . Only way I found out was when my carpenter had pointed it out . Unhelpful dismissive customer service instore and was fobbed off to a different company to resolve my issue . Would never purchase with Ashley again after spending a sizable amount of money instore .

We were informed all day of our delivery, what time we could expect them, how many stops ahead of us, etc. truly a wonderful experience.

A while back I bought a table and paid for a maintenance warranty. The top layer of the table started peeling within the first 2 weeks I had it. When I tried to utilize the warranty I was given a hard time and they refused to honor the warranty. I basically just relaminated the top my self. But geez that's shady only had the tables 2 weeks
Found just what I needed immediately, all with great customer service. Even offering us a cold bottle water on this hot day was an extra appreciation of service!!
Khaled was very helpful. We were doing everything over the phone when I told him I was just in there yesterday. I live pretty far from there and it was great that he was willing to help me get my desk without coming back to the store.
Our salesman, Alex from Highland, IN Ashley, was professional, knowledgeable and had great input on what furniture would work best with our color schemes in our new home! He was not overbearing and he gave us all the time that we needed to make our choices! We’ll be back to see Alex at the end of the week to furnish the rest of our home!

The salesman looked and acted like he couldn’t care less if we purchased something (which we did). He didn’t even have to try and sell anything because we knew exactly what we wanted.
If I could give zero stars I would. Ashley furniture in highland Indiana is RACIST. On multiple trips in the store we waited over 30 mins to be assisted even though the store was EMPTY! Then once we were assisted AFTER white customers who came in AFTER us. We were laughed at when we spoke about our wasted time, and when my husband ran to his car to get his ID they locked him out of the store.

Went in to buy a couch from Ashley’s on April 7th this year and after we purchased, we were told by Reyna Hernandez it would arrive at the end of May. The end of May came and left with no couch and no update. We finally got ahold of her to then be told it’s coming July 2nd. July second came with no couch and no update. We go into the store to find out what’s going on and why we can’t get ahold of anyone to be told “I could care less whether you get the couch or not, it’s not my fault” by the same person. This is the absolute worst service I’ve ever had in my life and I’ll never attempt to get anything from Ashley’s again. Reyna Hernandez from Highland, IN should be fired.
Bought a couch at the beginning of April. We were told we would get it by delivery at the end of May, that came and went, no couch, no communication. I reached out and then they told us July 2nd, my boyfriend and I have YET to hear a response back, an email, a call, a text, SOMETHING. I feel like they just took our money and left us alone. Very disappointing. Was so excited for that couch.

Poor took 2 months past time they said to get bed and it is damaged then they send someone to fix ...umm no it is brand new I want it replaced well have to send someone to see damage they come say they can't fix we will give you 58 dollars credit no I want it replaced set up apt another month half we confirm apt and now they say we did not confirm are u kidding now have to make a new ticket terrible customer service but they take your payment no problem smh find somewhere else to go they suck asked for supervisor and was told no I will help you and they don't speak good English so hard to undetsyand...smh

I appreciate the ease of shopping and the fact that I did not feel like I was being rushed to purchase anything. Demitri the sales rep gave my daughter and me the space and time to discuss what was needed.
Do NOT go there unless you want to deal with headaches, frustration and high blood pressure from getting pissed off over and over because a bunch of mixed up pieces being delivered and then no one wants to give you your money back! Been dealing with a reimbursement issue for over 2 months!! First off, the warehouse sent the wrong items, turns out the store tagged them wrong, so now we had a second delivery and it was WRONG AGAIN! Then they find out they didn't even have the correct size we needed at all in stock(it was an entertainment system). So we wanted our money back. They came to pick up the furniture and only took one piece instead of it all because they also didn't even include the whole thing on their pickup order. So had to wait to get the rest of pieces to be picked up another day. My husband had to miss 3 Saturdays of overtime work just to wait for the damn wrong items to be delivered and picked up! The store blamed the warehouse and the warehouse blamed the store. We had to keep going to the store 3 or 4 times to check up on the situation because nobody was getting the process going unless we showed up to remind them or push them to do it. At one point we ended up buying the store display because that was the only correct size in stock but we had to wait for it to be discontinued, we got it for a better deal, then when I was trying to get the money back for the returned one, they tried to tell me that I would only get a partial amount due to the remaining balance of the new purchase! Excuse me!? What does a whole new separate purchase have to do with the first purchase that was fully paid for and now in the middle of a reimbursement process. Then they were like oh no never mind. 2 months later I'm still calling the Distribution Center to get my money back. Almost 2 weeks ago they claim they send it and gave me some ticket number confirmation for a debit deposit and a check in the mail, and nothing happens. Then I call today again, and they said that a portion was sent to my debit card $324.84, I check my statement, why did they only send $35?!! The rest is over $1, 000 to be sent in a check(I paid in cash for a portion) so has to be a check that they claim they sent last week. they said that they are so sorry and will send it now and will take 4 weeks or more!! I am beyond pissed at this point, I've been so patient and polite but now I am planning on seeking legal action and filing a consumer report, as well as contacting Telemundo Responds, they help with these type of situations and it comes out on the news for other consumers to beware. They were quick to take my money and so helpful but now no one gives a crap now, its my problem now of course! NEVER again will I purchase here and will share my story with everyone, I know 2 other people who had similar situations there, wish I knew their story before I went there!

Extremely pushy. I came in and was greeted by a salesman before I could get too deep into the store. Which is fine that's their job nothing against that. However I told them specifically this was my first stop and I will be going elsewhere and if anyone else needs help take care of them over me. I let them know I spent a lot of hours in my office chair and it was causing me a lot of pain and I just wanted to try a couple options to see what I liked. They then proceeded to get one of the other associates who insisted I try their tempurpedic mattresses. Very annoying since I do not need one and was explicitly clear that I was here for a new chair. Whatever. I entertained them. Afterwards I reiterated what I was here for and they just said "what stops you from taking the mattress today?" OH I DON'T KNOW BECAUSE I CAME HERE FOR A CHAIR?! Went to Lynn's in the same strip mall and bought a $1400 chair an hour later. I will never be back.
The experience went well. The initial seller seemed nervous, but became more relax as we walked through the store. Was about to leave until team members stepped in. I thought that was great teamwork! After, receiving additional assistance and options, I made a great purchase and left satisfied. The entire team was welcoming, pleasant and provided good customer service.

Our associate that helped us pick our couches was great. Overall they were able to match the price of the couches we selected. What I wasn’t happy about was when we went to pick up the rug we purchased. It was the last rug available they had on the floor. We purchased it and went back 3 days later to pick it up. The rug was still on the floor. Sooo they proceeded to allow more people to step all over it and continue to dirty it even though it was already purchased. That was NOT OK!
When I arrived to Ashley was met by Alex he was very kind and respectful did everything he could to satisfy me in finding what I was looking for they did not have anything on the floor but he didn't stop until he found exactly what I was looking for and he did the job I will be recommending family and friends to see Alex at Ashley 😊😊😊😊😊

I went in looking for a particular piece of furniture and was helped but 2 young ladies working there. They were great (I wish I remembered their names)!! Coincidently they both had the piece I was looking for so their opinion weighed in on my decision to get it. Also, one of them called home to get a video of the furniture so that I could see the functionality of it. That was very sweet of her. Needless to say, I ordered it (not received yet) because it wasn't available in store. Nevertheless, the Highland team was great!

I went to Ashley furniture looking for a specific couch set that they didn't have available anymore. The salesman was very nice and patient. I went back later with a few different choices and was able to purchase my couch set. Everything was taken care of quickly, and the process was smooth, I was in and out fairly quickly.

My experience at the Ashley store it was very good because I had a wonderful salesperson by the name of Miss Reyna Hernandez! I appreciated her knowledge and expertise in helping me to decide on which mattress to purchase as well as the base for my bed. She was filled with knowledge and answered all of my many questions, she had so much patience and she made me feel very comfortable in making my choices . I wanted to give five stars but the store hasn't been able to give me a delivery date because the base of my bed has not been located or is not known to be in stock therefore there is a hold up on my delivery and I really need my bed ASAP because I just moved into a new residence and I have no bed !😁 but I have received good service from the customer care department in assuring me that I should know soon whether they have my base or not in stock. I look forward to using my new bedroom set for a good night's sleep! LOL I appreciate it myself person again very very much, thank you Miss Reyna for your undivided attention and expertise 🤗 and your beautiful personality along with your customer service was amazing.‼️ I look forward to shopping at Ashley store again. I am literally in the store writing this review, looking at the furniture and I have been in here and entirely 17 minutes and all of the coworkers and all of the work is here are just sitting around. There is one mattress person helping out one person and the other ones are just sitting around not we can get me. I had all the intentions on spending money to buy an entire bedroom set as well as a mattress and the adjustable base and I will be taking my business to the Ashley‘s on Cicero Avenue. They do not appreciate minorities here, apparently.
Working with Dimitri Ratner today was a very pleasant experience. He was very knowledgeable about beds and mattresses and shared that throughout the sale. He also helped us purchase 2 new recliners. We will be back to work with him again.

I strongly urge you to reconsider giving them any of your business. The only thing more terrible than the quality of their furniture is their customer service. I recently had an unfortunate service experience with this specific store. From the store level up to corporate, the customer service was consistently disappointing. I purchased a sofa, love seat and ottoman and each piece is having fabric and/or structural ssues. The furniture quality left much to be desired, with issues emerging shortly after purchase (photos attached). Even with purchasing the extended warranty coverage, which we were explicitly told would cover ANY fabric or structural issues, was denied despite all the extended warranty claims stating our exact issues would be covered. Very deceptive business practices with this store and a very poor reflection on the Ashley Furniture company.
Diana was pleasant professional and attentive. She was very patient and didn't try to sell the product. She projected genuine attention to what was needed.
Khaled the salesman and the service manager (cannot remember her name) were great to work with. They both worked together and met our needs for our recent purchase. This is our 3rd purchase over the years from this store and they have been great every time.
It was like a trip back in time. Display and merchandising was blah. The furniture all seemed kinda the same and prices seemed a little high but isn't everything? So far I am on round 2 of rescheduling delivery since they keep delaying my order and after reading these other reviews I am now just going to cancel my order and save myself the headache 👎🏼 we had to spend Christmas with no living room furnature 😥 Updated: my furnature came 2 days after this post in which 2 items were damaged and one of them even had blood on it, the warranty process has been very frustrating to say the least 😥

the worst customer service I have ever had!! I've tried for over 1 hour to get someone on the phone for a problem with my order and still no luck!! I've been waiting over 2 weeks to get this issue resolved and still have not gotten anywhere!!! Requested a manager call me 3 times and still no call!! Absolutely horrible!! I spent over $9k for furniture and this is just ridiculous!!!

I went in on Black Friday for a living room set. I has not had pleasurable experiences in the past so I was apprehensive. However, the floor manager was awesome. She resolved an issue with a previous authorization hold on my Ashley card. I was able to get my set no money down in the color and style that I wanted. I wish I could remember her name but hopefully they will know who I'm talking about. Thank you for doing an awesome job!

Beyond disappointed with Ashley Home Store, the delivery team damaged our home and when I called customer service they let me know that since it was past 72 hours since the delivery was made they were not responsible for the damage. When I reached out to the sales associate who helped us as the store she connected us to another random number who then pawned us off on another third party. Will not be shopping at any Ashley location in the future.

When the Ashley Home store opened near our home, my family was excited at first, as we had shopped from them from a location farther away in the past and were happy. Unfortunately, both times that we have shopped at this new home store, we have been terribly disappointed. We understood the long wait for one item, but after it finally came, it had numerous chips and scratches in the wood that I ended up fixing myself because no attempt was made by Ashley to remedy it. I believe we ended up getting a $100 dollar discount, but I would rather just have a good product in the first place. More recently, we ordered a set of eight chairs and a dining room table. The assembly of the table was botched and we immediately called Ashley the moment we noticed how the technicians had damaged the underside of our table when they assembled it. That was July 2, 2023 - nearly three months ago. Ashley has repeatedly told us that they will send someone within a week or two weeks during these past three months, but nothing has ever happened. Again, we took off a portion of the price, but I still do not have a working dining room table and have been not been able to invite anyone to my home for dinner yet. Do not shop here. They are unprofessional and will end up wasting a lot of your time.
Called to get some basic warranty information and Rosa kept me on hold for 25 minutes. Stay away and spend your money were its appreciated. Ridiculous!

I don't know what happened to my previous post. My husband and I returned to Ashley furniture because we brought the whole floor set up for our living before. As we entered. Eric was our salesperson very knowledgeable (2 stars). I decided on the 3pc set with a reclining seat and adjustable headrest totaling around $6000. So, as we walk through the store, we look at all the different sets. My husband couldn't believe not one of the workers spoke to us as we walked around the store. He politely grabbed my hand, and out the door we went. However, we were in another store where all the employees speak whether you're their customer or not.

I just brought a couch from Ashley this week. The process was amazing and the pricing was great for what I purchased. The delivery is a little high and takes a while but overall my experience was great. The furniture is always durable and long lasting.

One of the worst furniture store. I have recently purchased two sofa sets and out of them they delivered a broken one. I called the customer service on the same day and told them the installation was done properly it completely looks weird and what I saw at store was looking good but what you have delivered looks worst. They took couple of months to address but they are not ready to resolve it. The worst Ashley says all their sales are final but not ready to replace or refund even it is their fault. I literally want to very bad words but my manners is stopping. I do not recommend this store for any purchases.

Khalid is THE best salesperson and Highland is THE best location. In 2022, I had SOOOO many issues with a different Ashley location even to the point of filing a BBB complaint. Fast forward 11 mos later (yes 11 mos) all issues are resolved except for 1 which must be resolved with Online Management instead of Corp (so I’m told). Despite ALL of the grief I’ve been through (ex, they delivered defective sofas 8 times…yes 8…I eventually paid additional money to change sofas…trust and believe there was SOOOO MUCH more drama than that), I needed something and made an intentional choice to purchase from Khalid in Ashley’s Highland IN location as he and his manager stood with me during those 11mos and assisted in making things right as much as operating procedures would allow them. And guess what, Khalid even thanked me today for trusting him and coming back (what I’ve been through, I should never deal with Ashley again, let alone write a 5 Star review.) I APPRECIATE Khalid for thanking me and realizing that I spent money trusting him. If he would have no longer been employed with Ashley, I would’ve walked right back out the door. Long story to say—I support salesperson Khalid (and his Manager) and the Ashley location in Highland IN.

Three stars only because y'all having issues with the system.the issue with your system's been down since I was in the store Saturday. he wasn't able to schedule a delivery appointment and I've been calling all morning it's saying the system is still down looking for a call back text message email telling me something.
I will NEVER purchase Ashley products again! I have purchased Ashley products from third party vendors in the past and even they took better care of me than Ashley! Last week I purchased a bedroom set directly from Ashley and everything arrived damaged except the chest. There was even a screw left unfastened to the frame. When I went to screw it in, I realized that I didn't have any of the tools that came with the bed. As I am walking outside, I am met by my neighbor who hands me a different set of screws and a Allen wrench that she found in the street where they unloaded the furniture. Frustrated, I went to finish moving what the delivery guy should have only to find, it was stripped! Immediately I tried to call customer service only to find there was a system outage! I tried texting the number, on the recording and eventually got someone. After going back and forth and sending pictures, they told me they would order replacement parts and send a technician out to repair it. When I asked what the replacement parts were, it was only the hardware! When I inquired about replacing all of my scratch pieces, get this, I was told it now falls under the warranty and can only be repaired not replaced. Imagine someone telling you that they're going to repair your 6 hour old furniture because it is now under warranty. The nerve! I will be calling corporate tomorrow and will never shop with Ashley again! It's a real shame, because I have purchased multiple Ashley items in the past ranging from sofas to tables. I have only had a bed arrive damaged one time and the furniture store replaced it immediately. I wish they delivered to the suburbs otherwise I've never would have gone through Ashley and had to now boycott their products!

The model of the couch I went in to see wasn’t in the showroom which is the only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars. But the staff at the Highland location was amazing. They informed me of upcoming sales and warranty policy differences.
Walked into the store and got asked if I am over the age of 21, rudely said “oh you are?” Then walked away. Will not be buying any furniture for my first home at Ashley, what a huge turn off.

We purchased two couches and the store would not let us pay for delivery to our home. They said that we were responsible for picking up the furniture because the items were on clearance and did not qualify for delivery (which was never free and always at an additional cost). We arrived the next day to pick up our couches and the staff had not moved it off the floor, after saying that they would have them ready for pick up the previous day. While the initial sales person was friendly, the staff was condescending the entire time during pick up and forced us to help move the items off the sales floor. After getting to the loading dock, we found out that the only way to get the couches out was to carry it off the semi loading dock, which was about 4’ off the ground. We asked to move the couches out of the front of the store, but they refused. We had to struggle to pass the couches down to ground level. While doing this my father fell. Still no concessions were made. I will never shop at this store again and I will never recommend anyone to shop there. UPDATE: They have responded via email within 4 days of putting up my review with the following: "I’m sorry to hear about the experience. Items that are sold AS-IS or clearance is to be taken home same day. It seems they made an exception to give you 72-hours to come back. Delivery isn’t a option for items as they are being sold from the store. The sales personal isn’t required to lift items out of the store. I’m sorry to hear about your father and I hope he is okay. If he was hurt due to any reason in store a incident report needs to be filled out. For these reasons down below, I wouldn’t be able to issue compensation or refunds. If you have any questions, please let me know."

My couch came damaged. Spent so much money for this sectional and it came damaged. They put on the report that it came damaged and we would get a new piece. They have now sent the wrong piece twice. I have called and now they r saying they have the right to fix it at my house first. Um what no I didn't pay for a fixed piece. And they won't just take back my couch saying they have a no return policy. Don't shop here.

I loved my purchase. However Gina was my sales person. Upon entering the store I made sure to tell the salesman and manner standing nearby that I gave Gina my word that she would get my sale. They assured me that she would still get the credit for the sale. My husband and I were willing to wait until she arrived but since we were told that she would get the credit we proceeded. After everything was said and done I asked for the final time to be sure that Gina got the sale to find out that she would only receive PARTIAL sale. The salesman commented on Easy the sale was. It was easy because GINA answered our questions, helped us with the measurements, talked to us about the furniture. She did all work all he did was the paperwork. Don't purchase anything from this company. We ordered furniture in October 2021. Didn't receive our furniture until a year later. Just wacked with $700 in interest because the 12 months zero was running even though we never had our furniture. The whole bed drone caved in twice after being delivered & another service repair. Now yesterday a dresser drawer with socks broke. I will never purchase anything from Ashley furniture again. I definitely DO NOT recommend shopping here, look elsewhere!
Ashley has nearly all the furniture you could need for your living room, great room, bedroom or home office. Some may be a bit pricy but definitely worth it due to the quality of their products.

Sales team is great. They listened to what I needed, showed me several options that I loved, and helped push financing through. Customer service team is the complete opposite. My couch was delivered and had issues the day because it was set up incorrectly. They were notified same day, called me 2 days later to get additional details and said they would call to set up scheduling. I received a text with a link for scheduling which shows available dates that are a month out from the original delivery. I've called back several times to get an earlier date as a month out is unacceptable. They always say someone will call back but they only resend the same text. I love my furniture but the customer service and delivery experience was absolutely horrible. I purchased a complete bedroom set in November-in cash, only to have it delivered and the dresser was damaged. It took FOUR deliveries over the course of 5 weeks in order to finally received my item not damaged. Furthermore, I called customer service multiple times to express my disappointment and resolve the issue and was told the issue was being escalated and someone in management would give me a return call and but they never did. I will never purchase from Ashley again.

I’ve never shopped Ashley until today. Their salesman Dimitri helped me with a sofa set. His knowledge and personal attention was welcomed. I am now planning to go back and purchase a bedroom set.
The store manager saw me looking thru the store and offered to help me as many of the sales staff were busy with customers. She was great and answered all my questions. She introduced me to a staff member who quickly checked me out & scheduled my delivery all in less than 5 minutes. Terrific service.
I had a pleasant experience in this store. I stopped by because I was very undecided between buying some pieces or others online and wanted to see them in person. My indecision continued in the store, but the great customer service that Gena has helped me make the decision without pressure, she assisted me with all the patience in the world answering my questions.

The staff here are tremendously helpful. Gena helped me find a clearance piece for my living room that was able to be picked up and delivered next day! The Acima representative and Ashley staff were able to troubleshoot issues occurring at another store and able to have me in and out within an hour. Amazing customer service and so helpful on finding what you need.
My husband & I ordered a bed & bed frame along with a mattress in the Highland store before Christmas. Our salesperson advised we did not need a box spring with the type of frame we ordered, we asked several times if they we sure, however when finally delivered & set up the assemblers (which were great) told us we need a box spring. Called the store the salesperson said I would get a call back that day n ver did it's been a day & a half & no call back from the store.
Do not purchase from here. They have good sales people, but that's where it ends. When your items are not the quality that you paid for, customer service will be rude and extremely unprofessional and will blatantly not help you.

I found a table I loved online. It was available in-store and the staff was remarkable to work with! So happy to have our table in time for Thanksgiving.
Remy was extremely helpful in our furniture selection process. She was very helpful with explaining the different payment options along with the pros and cons of each. Pricing was very straight forward with no hidden fees, also a huge bonus that we didn’t feel pressured into making a purchase today. After my previous shopping experience at the Merrillville store, I would recommend the Highland store hand and fist over Merrillville. Thanks Remy! I unfortunately need to update my review. Yesterday we were supposed to receive our couch. The delivery men showed up and as they were bringing the second piece in, I noticed something didn’t look right. Both ends of the sectional pieces we ordered looked like they both were both made for the corner of a sectional. The gentleman who was delivering noticed it also. He verified that the pieces were what was ordered and they were. The sales person ordered the incorrect pieces and to make matters worse they told me that I couldn’t keep either couches. To add to the issue our old couch has been on the curb in the snow and rain for 24 hours at this point. I spoke with customer service and that didn’t even pretend to care that I didn’t have couches and that I will be having family over for Thanksgiving next week. We had no other choice but to refuse the delivery and wait until the store opened. We went in and spoke with the manager, while she was very empathetic to our situation the only solution she offered us was to purchase the clearances floor sample. Oh yea and one more thing the sectional doesn’t even come in the configuration that we need to fit in our space, so the sales personal Remy that we initially dealt with who seemed to knowledgeable apparently didn’t even know what she was talking about. Such a frustrating situation.
As much as I love our new furniture, I am completely disgusted with the way Ashley does business. We went into the store and ordered 3 pieces of a sectional sofa, coffee table and tv stand. We were told by the sales rep that 2 of the 3 items were in stock and she set us up for a delivery date in 2 weeks. 14 weeks later, everything was finally ready to ship. Yes, the receipt states it could take up to 16+ weeks, but then you shouldn’t have your sales reps tell customers items are in stock. I’m not sure why prefabricated furniture takes 14 weeks, but it is what it is. The furniture was delivered yesterday and signed for. I love our furniture but will never order from Ashley again. And I’ve been telling everyone I know not to order from Ashley as well.

Worst store! Can't get anyone in customer service to fix issues and can't get anyone to call back no matter how many times and how many numbers I call. Don't purchase from here as issues don't get resolved. 11.10.22 Follow-up: I have texted and called the numbers listed below in response to my comment. No help what so ever still. Now I am told for the third time my replacement items are delayed yet again. It's been a month already. The store manager told me today that there are no refunds and payments can't be delayed. So I am expected to pay for items I can't use and that I don't have a month later, with more delays on getting them still. Absolute madness. Don't do business with them or reject your order if incomplete or damaged as they will not resolve the issue in a timely manner, if ever at this point.

Ha...This Place is total Garbage...Purchased Furniture a few Years back and fell apart...A Circle Swivel Chair and it Collapsed after 2yr's...When you order Furniture on Friday and it's ready on Monday that tells you they have a Warehouse full of their made in China Junk...So I Wised up and went to Groens in Dyer and Purchased a Sofa and King Chair with Ottoman...It was Flexsteel...Was told it would take about 3 Months because it was being Hand made...Hmmm...Couldn't be happier...This Furniture Weighs a Ton and obviously Higher Class Quality...It was very Expensive but don't have a Headache worrying about Returns...Do your Homework before you Buy Cheap Quality...
My purchase was delivered damaged and there is mold on my mattress. Customer care is a joke. I asked them to take it back and they said they couldn’t even though the delivery guy left 5 minutes prior to my call. I’ve been on hold for the past 2 hours and this still hasn’t been resolved.
Searched high and low for the perfect piece to fill a small space. This unique cabinet will serve me well. Metal and wood with two deep shelves. Sales associate was very helpful.
Giving them an extra star because the price and quality of the couch we have is pretty good. Overall service and communication is absolutely horrible, worst experience buying furniture. Today we were supposed to receive a couch love seat and 3 tables, then they said only the couch and 2 tables, the delivery guys were nice, but only dropped off a couch when we should have also received the tables. They don't know how to communicate, or take care of their customers. They take your money then screw you around.

This has been by far the worse shipping experience ever. I ordered a couch set, a dining room table, and 6 chairs on May 23rd. There were numerous delays, with little to no communication, and it eventually went pass the deadline. I decided to get my couches, which were delivered on August 26th, but the chairs and table were cancelled and I was supposed to be refunded two weeks ago. Calling today to find out a manager out it in as a credit and didn't take the step of refunding it in my card of payment. After numerous delays, they are not holding up $1800 of mine. To say this was a terrible experience is an understatement. No matter what deal they may offer, avoid this store and company at all cost. I will never forget this, and will tell people for the rest of my life about how this store and company should be avoided at all cost!

We ordered a bed for my mom to be delivered and assembled when we got it it did not come complete with the hardware to actually put it together and also came open so the men delivering it asked if I wanted them to take it back while they ordered the hardware for it and that they would come back to put it together now When we first called customer service after we received the hardware they said we would have to pay again to come out and put together a bed THEY failed to send complete after discussing it for a while I was told it would be done they gave us a ticket number and told us they would respond in 24-48 hours it’s now been about a week and when I spoke to them yet again their saying we have to put it together this is unprofessional and a scam

Sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable. Furniture looked beautiful. I placed order on 7/29 and was told delivery would be on 8/13. As delivery time approached, I got call saying there was a delay and furniture would be delivered on 8/22. I agreed. On the 22nd I received no phone call and no furniture after cancelling a doctor appointment to be there for the delivery. 8/23 I texted with customer service rep, Ayub. He took my name, order number, address, store address and checked on order, but found nothing. He asked if it was an online order. Told him store purchase, he said he only handles online orders and transferred me to Leah. Waited 9 to 10 minutes for her, and had to repeat same info. She put me back on a wait and FINALLY I got Adriana, who asked for same info again, so I said I gave it out twice. I asked if any of them communicate? She just said, "Send the info." Patiently keyed it in again, but she said I took too long and cut off the conversation. I did not give up. I called the store, but got another machine that recognized my order from my phone number. So at least the machine knew I had an order outstanding. Recorded voice said order would ship in 2 to 3 more weeks. Meanwhile I have been sitting patiently in the living room on folding lawn chairs for 25 days. After 25 days they want another wait of several weeks? I called the store and got the customer service number. I called to get my money back, but rep (Ayub - sound familiar, I wonder) acted as if he could not hear me. I WILL get my money back as I will go to the store and demand it. NEVER buy from Ashley, no matter how much you like the furniture! Their sales people are fantastic, but customer service is rude and worthless!!! They do not want to stay in business. I hope they get their wish. I will do my part to see they do. I have always been patient to a fault, but when a business runs my patience down you can bet they've worn out thousands of others long before me. My experience is that with the exception of the government, such businesses fold within 5 years.

Extremely pleased with the product, how it was handled, and the clarity about how the order would be processed and how I could benefit from any sales price from the time of sale until time of delivery. Ordered furniture with assembly, and was told by delivery drivers that they “didn’t assemble”. Finally by the time I could even unbox the pieces everything was damaged… I filed a claim and was told everything would be replaced in around June 15th. Still haven’t heard back from them about delivery. Wasted $3,000 on a 3 pc bedroom set and every piece came damaged.

Bought a dining table from here, and not even a year later it's starting to chip. We never scratch or pick at it and are always very careful of what we put on it. Ridiculous.

My furniture that was ordered in May, scheduled for July delivery finally arrived yesterday (9/1/22) The delivery men took forever to set up my furniture and then left one of the pieces in the hallway saying it wouldn't fit. They never tried to place it in the area allocated. I picked it up and moved it to the allocated location and it fit perfectly. The left a mess in my home. They should have cleaned up behind themselves, but they didn't. 😢

I purchased a recliner love set 2 chairs, April 2022,Had for one week and had to call the second week of having it delivered to get it service, which I declined, Why pay for something if I'm going to NEED IT SERVICE AFTER 1WEEK!!!SAW done repair place they Ashley, room place, uses to service jacked up furniture they sold you?Was informed someone from CUSTOMER SERVICE (ha ha) would contact me either Monday or Tuesday, 6:30 pm I had to contact them then I get a very RUDE csr now I'm saying this can't be happening. So I disconnect and contact the store I purchased the furniture from, spoke with a young lady and stated was the assistant manager, informed her of the above issue told me she the office was closed and she would send me her email address to pictures. Well guess what it's 9:59 pm and no email. If I could give ZERO that's what they wld receive!!!!Very DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER
My husband and I had purchased a dining room table 7 months ago. We were told by the store twice that our table/chairs were being delivered. The first delivery was in December, we were given chairs only. We waited patiently for our table to arrive. Four months go bye, We get another call & text message saying our table was going to be delivered- NO SHOW, NO CANCELLATION CALL. At this point we are 7 months into our purchase. We go to the store to find out what is going on... only to find out that the table is no longer "being made" and the dining set is now on clearance. We asked if the store would sell us the dining room table displayed in their store since (1) our table is no longer being made, (2) the store never had the decency to tell us our table was discontinued, yet still collected our money monthly for the chairs that we're previously delivered. We go there today and the manager who was supposed to call us for the last week, is sitting behind the desk talking leisurely to another coworker. Topping off this nightmare we were told the store is agreeable to sell us the table (right their wrong) only if we give back our chairs that have been in our house for the last 5 months, in exchange for their beat up chairs on display. It was bad enough that we were willing to take the used table but now they want us to take used chairs. Why they would want our chairs that have been sitting in our house for 5 months I have no idea, especially with covid protocols. Completely mind blowing. The company is out for themselves and themselves only. Especially in a time when companies are going out of business & chains being closed. It's unfortunate that customer service means nothing to them and obviously neither does retaining customers. It was made very clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority to their company. The corporate personnel was just as unhelpful and said this was a local decision made by the Highland managers and they acted in favor of the company. Lesson learned for us, we will never do business with Ashley Furniture. Very unfortunate this store put us behind a year with purchasing a dining room set for our family. Now we will be starting fresh at the bottom of someone else list. Thank you Ashley Furniture in Highland IN! I really wish there was an option for a half star.
My experience here was amazing buying my Bedroom Set and Mattress. I met my sales lady Brandie who greeted me right away and then let me take my time to browse a little. She later talked me through some of the sets available. Brandie was very patient with me answering all of my questions, and if she did not know the answer she would find someone who did to help me further in making my decision or giving me the information I needed. I had the sleep expert who was extremely knowledgeable help me make my choice in choosng my Mattress. When ready to make my decision Brandy worked with me and my budget to get me what I wanted and met me where I was at. I am very appreciative and look forward to my new Bedroom and Matress experience. Ordered living room furniture and tables 02/22 - wrong couch pieces delivered order was messed up after waiting 2 months.First delivery attempt was unauthorized and nobody was home.Second delivery brought the wrong couch pieces.Third delivery supposed to be correct couch pieces but the furniture was soaking wet in the Ashley truck probably from the rain and covered with a blanket. We refused delivery of water-soaked wet furniture. The delivery drivers took pictures and customer service was contacted. Appears we will never get what we ordered. Spoke with Highland, IN store manager where purchased who opened a problem ticket. Salesman was Dimitri Ratner.How many times does it take to get an order right, why do you deliver wet furniture?

I feel completely scammed. I have had nothing but issues with this store since I bought my furniture 2 years ago. I had purchased the protection plan because the person who sold it to me said that everything was going to be covered no matter what. I paid the additional $279.99 for the protection plan to find out 1 year later, it doesn’t cover rips on the seam of my furniture. A tear on the seam is already a manufactured defect but not according to them. I was told if I were to grab a knife and puncture my cushion “accidentally” then it would be covered. I was told that I could get some help if I contacted the warehouse but all they said was to contact the store I purchased it from. It also took Nor and this location 2 months to contact me back because she said my email went to her spam. Since I was lied to and my protection plan didn’t cover anything they mentioned originally I decided to try and get my money for the protection plan back. They initially told me I could get a refund processed in 6 days then called back 3 days later to tell me I can’t get a refund and I have to wait the full 5 years until I can get my money back. Complete joke of a company and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Pretty much to sum things up we got scammed by another salesman just looking for a sale to put money in his pocket.

Awful place. Salesperson lied about return policy to get sales. Bed was a factory reject. Base stopped working after three weeks. Company has been dragging out repaits for five months. When we asked how to have the defective equipment exchanged customer service said we won't agree to the contract. Too bad. This company is horrid

This company has to be the BIGGEST scam! My boyfriend and I bought a sectional for out new apartment and our sales man sold us the protection plan and guess what… the protection plan doesn’t cover a thing!!! Scammed us to put more money in his pocket.. The sectional we bought is poor quality and I definitely would of been better off buying from Walmart or Target honestly. The customer service is awful along with the manager of this store! Called her multiple times and she said our email went to her “spam” and she didn’t see it for over 2 weeks. She still hasn’t gotten back to us and we contacted her over a month ago. She needs to learn better customer service! Never will recommend anyone to buy from here, you just throw your money in the garbage.

The Ashley store in Highland Indiana is full of beautiful, tasteful furniture and friendly sales people who helped me out with no pressure. Nobody’s following me around while I browsed, but easy to find help when I needed it. Jeffrey got me started on Sunday and Shivon Took care of all the paperwork and answered questions on Monday.

I went into Ashley today with the intention to "sample" my perfect mattress. A Stearns and Foster. It is a pricier mattress but, after years of sleeping on the wrong mattress and back and neck issues, I figured it was time to invest in the one I've always wanted. I had gone to other places but no ever knew which one was right for the type of problems I was having. Until I met Dimitri at Ashley. I told him what my physical issues were, what I was looking for and my financial abilities. He was very knowledgeable and knew what I needed right away. I didn't think I could afford it today but with Dimitri's help, he made it happen...TODAY!! I walked out of there giddy and smiling and excited for the delivery day. Thank you Dimitri!!!

Shivon is a wonderful sales rep and was very helpful when we went to the Highland store for a new couch. She got us the best deals possible on the items we purchased. Ashley’s allows for Easy modifications to the furniture to make it the way we wanted it.

I purchased a sectional and a twin bed for my daughter. The twin bed was in stock which was needed for my daughter to sleep in, since we purchased a new home. The initial store was fine the salesperson was friendly and it was pretty empty. Delivery price is $259.99. When delivery came a few days later the driver initially told us the drawer was damaged, but he will call and get it exchanged so we can keep the bed and also when assembling the bed realized the slats were missing. The driver called in front of us spoke with diff reps. One of them promised a call back The next day and everything will be taking care of. I contacted the distribution center the person stated there was a set up for a technician to come and no slats ordered. I explained the drawer is damaged from the bottom it can't get fixed. The representative Pulled up the picture and got the ok to exchange the drawer. However, the agent didn't know if the slats came with the bed and put an Exchange with the rails and said it should come with the slats. Different Drivers came once again and came with the drawer and no slats. They said the slats would've been a different box they opened the box in front of us and it was only rails. He called again in front Of us explained the situation and again agents were confused if slats came with the bed. I called myself when the driver was here she said they would put an exchange with the footboard. Asking if slats came with it and I asked for a supervisor call back. She said she would put it in. I spoke And the driver spoke with reps. I even had to pull up the website and told the rep. I see the bed has slats if you pull up the picture directly with the website. Nobody knew how to fix the issue and seemed confused in how to get an easy issue fix. i didn't have any supervisor call Me back. No one ever called to schedule a Delivery for the slats Either. I contacted once again and this time I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor I got she said the slats were a different sKu I can go to the website and see the sku i needed repeating to me the sku number like if I should have known. She said I needed to call the store now and ask them to added. She did not offer to call it and get it fixed. I had to make another phone call At that point i just said to pick up the bed. I wanted to cancel my order. She said I was not able to theres no returns, because I accepted the bed. Regardless of the time and situation I went through. I ended up contacting the store and spoke with the office manager she cancel my sectional as requested and scheduled a pick up for the bed. I thought the situation was over and oh no I was wrong. A voicemail was left saying from the distribution center saying they could not pick up the bed, because it has been too long and the pictures from the drawers the bed looks fine and I received a drawer (not needed) the next day! I spoke with the office manager once again and informed her she didn't know what to do and said she needed guidance from her district office manager. to contact her next day. I had no contact with her, because she was either on lunch or busy at the store with customers. She followed up and said I needed to speak with the store manager. Like what? I called the next day and peft a message with the store manager. Two days later no phone call at All. Multiple times I would call the store and nobody would answer. I always have to call more than once in order for someone to answer it has been such a horrible Experience. It honestly could've been such and easy fix I was patience, but at this point my issue has not been resolved it has been over two weeks & I am also still waiting for one of the checks, since I paid cash for the purchase. I am very disappointed with the service being received from the distribution center along with the unprofessional service at the store. I am still waiting for the twin bed to Be picked up, since my daughter has not been able to sleep in.
I'm disappointed with this furniture store. I was told it would be the middle of January that we would get our chairs. So I called today and guess what. No another month. I get were it is going to take awhile but then don't lie about when the customer when their going to get it. Never again. I wish I had read these reviews before I even went there. went there to buy furniture three rooms actually the first thing they did take me to a guy to sell me a mattress dressed up like a doctor I needed furniture not a mattress after 24 hours I got a response from Ashley furniture and I appreciate them getting back to me lotta companies don’t do that so I have to give an extra star for at least get back to me to try and resolve the problem the only problem is I already purchased furniture elsewhere at least Ashley furniture does care about customer service thank you for getting back to me maybe someday in the future I’ll come back when I need something else
They don’t give us originally discount/promotions was going on at the time of purchase. I count like mistake and I go back so they can make correction. After the delivery date was close, since nobody contact me I call several times to finally talk with sales person Savon to figure out that mu purchase (sofa and loveseat) comes in different dates . So the sofa has delay but nobody told us . I us to speak with store manager NORA she never responded even I call several times and leave a message to be called back( always excuses she is busy, she is on lunch….). Nobody knows anything and nobody can tell you when you can get your stuff. Very unprofessional and very disappointed with how they promised you a lot of stuff but nothing is true, when they’re is a problem they don’t even bother to call you and give you explanation. Bad customer service!

THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDS AND TELL HUGE LIES. MARTWAIN store rep is a SCAM ARTIST. THEY sold me an item in the incorrect formation only to find out that MARTWAIN lied that the sectional I purchased only comes one way. I cancelled my purchase in store only to be lied to. He cancelled nothing and told me that the delivery company would reach out. I spoke with customer service this morning. That was a lie and I’m being billed for the item although I was reassured that I would not. I was also lied that I was receiving a store credit, MARTWAIN signed me up for a credit card with synchrony. That’s not what he explained. I had no idea until I got the card by mail. Please BE AWARE.. no real customer service. Only liars to make and keep a sale. I’m reporting to the Better Business Bureau!!!!
I got my delivery November 17th. Called customer service November 28th because the ottoman I received was damaged inside. I was told I’d received a call, a week went by never did. Last week I called & the lady I spoke to said my new ottoman would be delivered Dec 8th. Didn’t receive it. Had to call again customer service for them to say, it was delayed due to drivers. I don’t mind that but it’s about CONTACTING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO MAKE THEM AWARE THAT THE STATUS HAS CHANGED. Today (12/9) I am suppose to receive a call regarding the ottoman, let’s see if I actually get a call today. My bill is due this month and yet I am paying for something that is Damaged and I cannot even store anything due to the wood shavings being inside everywhere.

I bought a couch from Ashley and was set up for delivery on 11/30. They set a time for 8:30am-11:30am I received a text at 11am saying they were 20min away. After calling 5 times to customer service they kept giving me the run around and saying it's out for delivery and I was the next stop. Finally at 4pm the warehouse called me and said they haven't even shipped it yet!! My husband lost a whole days worth of pay waiting on a freaking couch that is still sitting at a warehouse!! The warehouse said they are waiting on a driver and getting it out and it will be here by 8pm. I received a call at 7pm now saying it still hasn't even shipped yet and now they will not be here till after 9pm! On top of that we have to assist with unloading it because they don't have a helper!!!!! Horrible customer service and delivery service if I would have read the reviews I would have never bought from Ashley

The store people are awesome. But the delivery people are horrible. We ordered a mattress and adjustable base and the delivery date was set and delivered just the mattress. Called amd routed to a call center just to be told we were misinformed and there's nothing to be done. That is garbage, why would a company waste gas, and labor to make 2 trips for the same order. It defeats the purpose. But I've always had delivery issues with ashely and this is the last time.....
We really enjoyed that Martwain listened to what we wanted and helped us find it. What we loved most was that he wasn’t pushy! He didn’t try to push other things on us or try to sell us a more expensive item. It was a quick process and will definitely be back to purchase other pieces of furniture from him.

Purchased a high end Mattress and Base. Store Sales Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Mattress is great I received and have slept on it for a couple of weeks. Delivery is terrible and Customer Service is worse. Mattress and base was scheduled and delivery showed up with just the Mattress was told that the Base would come on another truck because they did not have room on this truck. That never happened and it took 3 days to get a new delivery scheduled 10 days out. I was told the the delivery would be between 3 and 5. Delivery showed up at 1:00 and said they could not wait the 20 minutes for me to get home and was told that I should stay all day and not pay attention to scheduled delivery windows. The base now setting in my driveway. Customer Service does care and neither does Delivery. I am going to give this 1 star for Customer Service and Delivery but I would give a much higher rating for Sales and Product.

I wouldn’t recommend you to any of my friends cuz your store has given me the run around. My sister bought me a TV table. She ordered it in august. It was delivered Sept. 17th. One of the shelves was too big it didn’t fit inside. I’ve called and I’ve visited your Store in Highland I even brought the shelf with me to see if they could replace it with the table on display. Your supervisor or whoever the hell she was was so very rude n. A sty to me. She said Oh we don’t do that. You’d think she was talking to a dog. The sales rep said it was easier for them to replace it with the one on display. But he said he couldn’t plus I didn’t want to get him in trouble. So one of your people reached out to me last week and said that someone would make a special trip to drop off that shelf today. I’ve been waiting here all dam day. I have things to do and shopping to do but I can’t leave my house. So I’m still waiting. If this person doesn’t come. I’m going to your store and tell that nasty supervisor to get ready n pick up the table cuz I have no use for it. My sister wants a full refund otherwise she’s going to press charges against your store. I spoke to another customer who’s having the same problems. I’m really upset I’ll. Interesting store. My salesperson, Eric was a very interesting and polite person. I first thought he was dressed up for Halloween, his lab jacket but I went back 3 days later to purchase something else and took my son with me. I prepared him first. I don't care what they look like as long as they are professional, knowledgeable, attentive and polite. That would be my description of this young Salesperson. Had they had better kitchen table selections on site and on their website it would've been 5 stars.
Horrible experience customer service is not good delivery unorganized took off work for delivery lazy drivers didn’t want to set up product so they just pulled off with furniture. Currently still waiting took off work and lost $500 catering down payment due to having to reschedule event so disappointing

My family and I were searching for great quality and modern look (furniture) for our home . Just coming into the door it was a great impression and greeted with energetic team! Everyone was so helpful , especially Shivon ! She went above and beyond! I needed help with deciding if the area rug would fit in my home . Moments later Shivon came back with a measuring tape ! She even allowed us over 20 plus minutes to go through different types of furniture and I can say it was over 65 minutes trying to decide . However , Shivon was right with us ! I was impressed with the Highland store. A salesperson was more that willing to help me in less of a minute of walking through the door, unlike the Merrillville store. I was completely ignored for the entire hour I spent there. So, I left after I found what I wanted to purchase and went to the Highland store to buy it.

I would like to hold my opinion until management gets back to me on some form of conpensation...it is a year and I still DO NOT have my final kitchen. I have 3 damaged ones..still waiting. After me chasing them for something I paid for...calls visits..they never have followed up with me..I chase them!!! So with that said..I cannot at this time tell someone to shop there. I will hopefully see how good customer service is soon..we talked about some kind of discount 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing..fingers crossed I cannot even tell you how happy my husband and I are that we went into Ashleys. We were just "looking" at couches at this time. But we found a couch, a chair and a new dining table. The most important piece to this was, Shivon! She was our awesome sales associate. She was knowledgeable, patient and talented. We had a So..I would love to take back everything I wrote in this! Still do not have table and chairs months later!! Worst customer service ever!! They wanted to deliver kitchen table only..and told me to store it in my garage. When I said no to that..the sales associate became rude and unreasonable. Will never get furniture from Ashley's again!! UPDATE.... So the table was "touched up" and is ok. But have never heard word one from the manager of the Highland, Indiana store. You as a customer are nothing to them..she promised a few things to me but just ghosted me...please think very carefully about spending money there..it took years to get final table.

Changing my review from 5 stars to 1. I went into the store to shop and decided on some chairs. I pulled them up on the Ashley website and found them for cheaper. I asked a sales associate if they honored the prices. She looked it up and said they could do the chairs for $10 cheaper than that. I didn’t notice till I got home that I had been charged $70 for shipping. I had even asked if there was a way to have it be cheaper and she said no. Well that was a lie bc shipping is free online and I saved $60 by buying through the site. Now I’ve been trying to call to cancel my order placed in store. So far I waited on hold for 9 min. Finally someone answered and then cut out and kept saying can you hear me and then cutting out again. Called again and got the most rude person that asked where to direct my call. Once my call was forwarded it was never answered again. Called a third time and after pressing the button for sales was hung up on. Fourth time I called i was on hold again for multiple minutes. I also tried pulling up my in store order online and the site keeps telling me they don’t have an order that matches the order number. Guess I get to go into the store and get my order canceled in person and maybe help some other customers realize they should shop elsewhere.

When I arrived, there wasn't a single salesperson to help. After I lapped the store twice, finally came across an associate. I was looking for a wine cabinet they offered. He couldn't find it because he said, " He really don't bother with the small stuff!" I wanted more but lead off with the $800 cabinet to build a room. I am a visual person, so I have to see things before purchase. He was so smug about his answers (as if he was selling high end furniture) that at that very moment I decided to leave. They have a more expensive one at Tuesday morning but only one and everyone open and closes the doors which I'm going to assume will weaken the magnetic closure. Really disappointed in Ashley furniture.
Placed order on 8/27/2021. 12/21/21 update - I still have no furniture… if I call the store no one answers. When I call customer service I get told some items should be ready for shipment by a certain date. When that date comes and goes; I call to find out the status and they tell me a different date. I can’t cancel my order or I’ll be charged a fee for canceling. Everyone’s phone cuts in and out so it’s hard to hear them. The ppl I talk to are nice just hard to hear them. At this point I feel like I’m being over charged for something I’m never going to get! So far my experience has been great! Priscilla was a great sales representative. She allowed me to wander the store and would check in once in awhile. I hate sales reps that are pushy or make you feel uncomfortable.

The second part of our order kept being pushed back even though we were given a confirmed delivery date.,'Finally after having another conversation with Nour,the manager, she was able to get the last part of our order delivery sooner than expected. Because of her we had a very good experience with the last part of our delivery. She should be commended for this.

Your warranty on the couches is a Scam. I tried repeatedly to contact them for a year and was ignored. I submitted a second claim and was denied because of stains! there wouldn’t be any if they had come out the first time. Almost all our furniture is Ashley’s and I completely regret it. We were lied to when we purchased this “great” warranty plan. Don’t pay the money it’s not worth it. I should send you guys the bill for having the couches professionally cleaned.
Bought sectional set was told different delivery days and excuses eventide I called. Person on the phone was rude when I asked why, Sales person promised me it would be delivered no later than July. Now I have no furniture and canceled my order don't want to deal with them ever again.

I when in on July 13 looking for a living set and found the 1 i liked everyone was great. I always shop here and that Furniture last long. I was able to price match which was good.
The key is the salesperson and our sale professional was Jeff Woods. He took the extended time, in answering all my questions and explaining why. My intentions, was to purchase furniture for one room and instead, I was able to purchase items for my other rooms. All my shopping, was completed in one store!! Thanks Jerry!!

I ordered a chair and a half on April 28th and was told it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. At the end of the 6-8 week period, I was called and scheduled white glove delivery. When the delivery truck came to my house, the chair was not on the truck. The driver told me they would have to reschedule delivery. I went to the store and spoke to Cathy, the manager. She was very apologetic and offered to refund the delivery charge and rush delivery. I received an automated call that evening, rescheduling the chair another week out.I emailed Cathy and once again asked to expedite the delivery and there was no response.The chair arrived one week later without incident. I went back to the store to ask about the refund on the delivery charge and spoke to the same manager. She was distracted, did not remember me or the circumstance and said she would bring it to her supervisor's attention. The refund on the delivery was offered to me, I did not demand it. It has been a few weeks and nothing has been credited. She has yet to honor her word, or follow through and has sadly lost a long-time customer. This occured at the Highland Indiana Store.

We made a purchase at this location, 10135 Indianapolis Blvd, Highland, IN 46322, on 09/09/19 in the amount of $1,572.52. We purchased a couch, love seat, and extended warranty. I was offered a warranty service for accidents that will protect my investments from all kinds of issues, including frame breakage. The frame broke. We paid for the warranty service GBS (now rebranded as ProtectALL), which DSG sold us at the time of purchase. We were insured that we would be covered for this problem of frame breakage and if they couldn't fix it then it would be replaced.We filed a claim, with GBS. Instead of GBS sending someone out to examine the damage, my claim was fraudulently denied. The reasoning was, I didn't have coverage for frame damage. I was in shock and upset, because I know what I was sold. I went to the store management and have had a number of conversations with them. After many conversations, I was told the warranty I was sold was not valid and could not be helped. I no longer want to do any sort of business with Ashley or DSG. I would like them to come pick up their crappy furniture and FULL REFUND of $1,572.52. I have supporting documentation that we are in the right.

This mattress is wonderful. It's about 3 degrees cooler and that is amazing. Less sweaty nights! Not with this one. We have it on an adjustable frame, it's fantastic!!!!

I put a couch on layaway back in February 2021, then COVID hit my family and friends and I lost 2 loved ones as a result of it. Then my health declined and I had to have a procedure that kept me home for 8 weeks to heal. It was one thing after another. I was expecting to put my tax refund towards the couch and what usually took 2 weeks to receive, took 4 months. For 4 months, I hadn’t paid on my couch at all. I didn’t think my order would still be in the system. I didn’t have high hopes, because I thought I might be penalized for not paying towards the layaway monthly. When I arrived there my order was still in the system, the manager was very empathetic and understanding, I was able to pay off my layaway in full with no penalties. I will definitely patronize that location again - not just for the quality furniture but the upstanding people that work there. So many people have been effected my COVID: loss wages, loss lives, and some companies don’t consider or care about that when you owe them money or a payment for something. I just appreciate Ashley’s wasn’t like that.
Buyer BEWARE! Furniture came in broken, bad quality and when requested full refund they have not refunded and it’s been 2 weeks. No one can help after hours on the phone with manager at Highland location and customer service Corp number!!!

I don't think I will EVER order furniture from this company again!!! From the very beginning it was a problem and I try to be understanding but you have to be kidding me. There is always something the delivery date was a issue, the delivery itself was a issue, something wrong with the table a issue, trying to get it fixed a issue. Every time I'm told oh someone will call you but of course they don't and I have to call the company just for them to say oh someone will call you. NEVER AGAIN WILL YOU GET A PENNY FROM ME OR ANYONE I KNOW. It's a shame that since I put this up that is when someone will call me. Why? Because that is what happen the last time I complained

What a wonderful experience! Everyone was very kind and willing to help us take our furniture home! I’m glad to know they do not use guardian as their protection for furniture. Nour and Jeffrey were great. I would highly recommend this location because of the people working there. I’ve bought furniture from a they places (Bob’s) and had a terrible experience from delivery to the quality of the furniture. So far I’m very pleased.

I purchased a recliner today, but could not take it same day if using the Ashley card. Why even have the store credit card if you can't take your purchase with you. Service sucks. Tell you one time for delivery and then don’t show or call. Finally delivered and two non-English speaking men delivered it. Height needs to be adjusted so I don’t have to use a step stool to get in and the call drops and nobody calls back.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Do not order from this store. The store manager has no accountability or respect for customers. We ordered an item in Nov 2020 only for it be delivered damaged. She refused a return and told us we could only exchange the item. The new item came damaged too. We had to make MULTIPLE trips in store just to get things done from her (schedule pickup, refund status) otherwise NOTHING WOULD GET DONE. My last straw with her was when we returned to the store to ask about the pickup for the original damaged item because she refused to order a pick up from it unless we exchanged. All for her to say "Oh, sorry, I thought it was already taken care of, let me do it now." REALLY??? We had to stand there watch her do it when she could've done it a week ago as SHE STATED SHE WOUDL. I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior and will never return.

😡UPDATE: IVE BEEN CALLING THE STORE FOR 3 DAYS TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH THE STORE MANAGER & SHE REFUSES TO RETURN MY CALL. 2 MONTHS AFTER I WAS PROMISED A CREDIT ON MY BILL BECAUSE OF THE DELIVERY DISCREPANCIES & I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE IT😡 I placed an order and was given 2 specific dates. One for delivery & the other for when one of my other items will be in stock. I called to confirm & now I’m being told my items won’t be in until August. I spoke with Norma (store manager) yesterday & was promised a call back by her or the sales rep for today. I haven’t heard from either of them. I’ve called to be transferred to the store 3 times earlier but NO ONE answered the phone. I just called again 3 times & the customer service reps refuse to answer! I feel like I’ve been lied to just to make a sale & now I’m being avoided!!!
If I could rate zero stars, Trust me when i say i would. Ordered a dining set in December which was canceled due to inventory. Ordered the same set, only counter height in January, with delivery set for February 4th. Was given 5 different dates all the way up to April 29th and still nothing. Finally we decided to cancel the order and found the same dining set at "The Room Place" for$200 cheaper. Had to wait over 2 weeks to be refunded our money. Complete run-around and will never do business with Ashley Homestore again!

All staff had masks, worn appropriately. The selection is limited but they squeeze a lot into the space so there are still a lot of styles to choose from. Once we knew what we wanted the checking out process was quick and very easy. We went during a weekday afternoon so it there were limited people but we still didn't get stalked by a rep to buy. It was nice.

I have never had a experience like Ashley Furniture. The insurance is unusable, credits aren't honored, the passage of responsibility in one company is uncanny. There is one shining star at that location that tries to take the brunt of the consistent failures Ashley Furniture is sure to deliver (Rachel) who has always tried to resolve a problem long out of her hands, but she's only one person. I say that to say, ever go here. Ever.
Dan was very polite and explained protection plans and current sales very thoroughly. He also let us do our own shopping instead of following us around and trying to upsell us, which was very appreciated. Will definitely be back in the future.

Worst service EVER in life! I would give ZERO STARS but I have to put something to submit the review. I ordered furniture in Aug & did not receive my full order until Jan. 2 days after my initial purchase, I went back in the store to browse & Diana told me, “I’m so glad that you came back, I completely forgot to put in your order”! WHAT?! I Continuously got the run around & terrible customer service from Nour the manager, Brittany at the service desk & customer service reps from corporate. Since they never answer the phone, I went into the store to the service desk & called from my cell phone after not being acknowledged for a couple minutes. Brittany was browsing on the computer, listening to the phone ring & was so embarrassed when I told her that it was me calling.I received 2 tables that were delivered damaged & was told I couldn’t return them due to Covid. After 4 confirmed delivery dates & days off from work , I was told my couch was on back order. I waited another month before another delivery date (another day off work)was given to me. The 5th delivery date & 5th day off work...no delivery. I called and was told that my couch was not on the truck. I called corporate and found out the couch was still on back order. In mid Jan I ended up canceling the couch that was ordered. If you are looking to purchase furniture, trust me, you do NOT want to shop here!
Went to Ashley furniture a few days ago. We had a young man Erick help us. We wernt sure on our selection so Erick helped us out. We returned today ready to purchase one when Erick noticed I was having difficulty getting the recliner.down. Erick showed us a similar product that was much easier for me to use. Sold. ZERO STARS!!!!Worst experience ever. I ordered a recliner with no time table for delivery, which I understand due to covid. My sales associate told me to call her in a few weeks for a better time table(nice customer service, your supposed to call me). I finally get a delivery date and my recliner never shows up. I tried calling the store for 2 hours and no body answers. Customer service number says there is nothing they can do for me. Please do not buy from this store. AWEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

I had a rough idea what I wanted when I went in. Jeff was able to take my description and lead me to the perfect set of furniture. Definitely plan on going back.
I initially ordered a sectional for my basement last in 2020 and had it delivered mid January 2021. Once it arrived the delivery crew was unable to bring it into the basement saying that it wouldn't fit down the hallway leading to the basement, even though I felt as if would have been able to. The crew said that they'd leave it on my main level for ME to move out into the basement if I preferred, I did not agree to it because I had paid for "delivery" and setup, so I had it returned to the store and looked into several different options instead. After finding a lovely 3 piece set on clearance I told the sales person and the young lady behind the counter that I would be back the following day to pick it up as clearance items are not available for delivery. I had a few questions about the items that the young lady spoke with the store manager about, afterwards we had all came to an agreement and they had placed a "sold" sign on it before I left, I witnessed them doing so. When I arrived the next day I noticed a family looking at the furniture and picking up the cushions. I informed them that the set had already been sold and to my dismay, they tell me that yes it was sold and that THEY had purchased it. I immediately found the salesman from the day before and he tells me he had overheard what they said and said he would speak with the young lady behind the counter who said she would try to find out what was going on. A woman who identified herself as the assistant manager came and said that the furniture had already been sold before I had agreed to come back for it even though no one (including the store manager) the previous day was aware of the sale, including the young lady behind the counter (who deals with the sales paperwork) Needless to say I was completely frustrated with the whole experience at this particular store location.
Dimitri is absolutely amazing at his job! Honest and knowledgeable is hard to find these days, he was a huge help to my fiancé and I. Will be visiting this location again for his services!
My son & husband went in looking for a sectional for our basement. The salesman showed them one that was guaranteed to fit. It breaks down into 5 pieces. They bought it.
My new dresser was delivered but the drawers smelled raunchy. Told the salesman about it and they are going to replace the entire dresser. no problem at all

I have never written a bad review in my life, but I’ve totally had it. I have had a terrible experience with Ashley and will never order from there again. I can’t seem to get hold of any actual person that can help. My salesperson was great, but it’s gone downhill since October. They have been out to my home multiple times and I still don’t have what I need. This weekend they delivered the exact piece I declined in November due to a huge mark. Did they think I didn’t take pictures of it the first time? I have called customer service multiple times and have asked to speak with a manager, but no one has ever called back. No one reads the notes in the system or follows through on anything at this company. I can’t get through to the Highland store and the line disconnects every time I select option 3. I do not want to speak to the customer service (lines 1, 2, 4) again as they have been zero help. I’ve taken multiple days off of work since October and cannot get to the Highland store to complain in person. The customer service in horrible. I still don’t have what I need, but at this point , I may just have to hire someone to fix the door and buy my own brackets. The kicker is, the poor delivery guys had 3 of 3 orders declined when they arrived so it must not only be me having issues. A direct number to the Highland store would be helpful because maybe they can do what customer service cannot. Either way, I want a refund.

Do not shop here!!!! We purchased furniture in September and were promised it would arrive before the holidays even with the Covid delay. We were given several delivery dates but each time they failed to show up and didn’t bother calling to let us know what was going on. After 4 months of getting the runaround we canceled our order. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Had a wonderful shopping experience with Dimitri, about a year ago I started looking for a sofa as one of our recliner handles had cracked. He was no pressure look around giving information as asked or needed. And said it takes a few visits to make sure your going to be happy. He was right, I went back today sat on runner ups and made the purchase of the Brassville! Have a bit of a wait until it comes in stock! But good things come to those who wait!

My fiancé and I ordered a couch from them in August. Paid in full the day of and was told 8-10 weeks. After 10 weeks no one reached out to tell us it was being delayed, we had to contact them first. Then being the end of October, when that came we called and then was told December (which was an estimate) then when December came they said finally called us ( for the first time since August) to tell us our couch would be delivered December 8. Three days later they called us and said only half of it would be delivered but the other half would be here on the 15th (today). I just got delivered HALF of my couch today. How half? When they called and told us last week the whole entire couch that we have waited for, for 4 months would all be here today. Called the store to figure out what happened and they said oh your other half is estimating December 29 now. I said how? When you just told me last week it would all be here today. I don’t understand how they are okay with lying to their purchasers. I’m upset, confused, and am living in my first home with no couch for this long and told I only get half. When I asked for some kind of refund for all of the confusion and delay, they said they could give me $50... off a $1000 couch! Worst customer service ever. I wish I could go back in time and never step foot in that store.

Hello, I purchased my Ashley sectional July 2020 under order number 0673488613. At the time, I was informed of an estimated delivery of August 2020. Afterwards, I was told September for 2/3 pieces. Then I was told October for 2/3 pieces and then I was told Nov. for 2/3 pieces. Finally, after failed attempts to call the store, I went into the store and spoke with Cathy. I was assured my FULL delivery of all 3 pieces would be delivered on 12/2/20. On 12/2, a delivery driver phoned to tell me he only had 2/3 pieces on the truck. AGAIN I called Cathy at the store on 12/2 and I was assured a call back on 12/4. As of today, 12/11/20 I have not heard from anyone and I do not have my order. This is has been an incredibly frustrating process trying to get an order that was paid for 5 months ago. With no call backs, I had no other resorts to visit. Please assist. Regards, Ms. Turner

I am livid. Attempting to call the store I purchased from. Called the number waited on hold 15 minutes just to find out they couldn't help me. Said I had to call store direct, I told him a did. He said press option 3. I have called twice and it keeps disconnecting me. How do I speak to a person at the Highland Store.

Rebecca that works at the 10135 Indianapolis Blvd - Highland, Indiana 46322 location, went above and beyond with her professional customer service skills. I purchased a bedroom set on October 27, 2020. I was not happy with the individuals that delivered the bedroom set. The delivery was on time, however, I understand the two gentlemen had 10 stops prior. I was not satisfied how the bedroom set was delivered - totally unacceptable. There is damage to the dresser and nightstand. The gentleman carried/rolled the dresser in a broken box and was literally flipping/rolling the box to the bedroom. I took pictures of the items that were damaged. I went to the Highland store the next day. I spoke with Rebecca and showed her the pictures of the damaged items. Rebecca, stated that is unacceptable and the dresser is going to be replaced. She also stated - there would be an individual that would come to my home to look at the nightstand. Rebecca was more than understanding and resolved the issue right away. I have a new dresser that is being delivered. I also had a brand new drawer to the nightstand shipped to my home last Wednesday. I worked in retail industry for nearly 20 years. I understand the importance of customer service and repeat business. Rebecca deserves praise for her excellent customer service abilities. She went above and beyond to keep the customer happy. Rebecca is a kind, caring, compassionate person. I went to Ashley Furniture yesterday - Sunday. I am a repeat customer because of Rebecca’s fine customer service skills. I was approached by one salesperson initially. The store manager approached me and asked if I needed help. Also, she asked if I was greeted when I walked into the store. I told her that I was greeted and I was still looking around - could not make a decision. Within two minutes, the store manager had a sales associate assisting. Cathy Gannon has great customer patience skills. Cathy went above and beyond to help me finally make a decision. We initially went to buy a couch and ended up spending 3hrs in the store and buying 2 couches thanks to impeccable service from Cory. We will absolutely be back for additional furniture and hope to see Cory again in the future. Ashley definitely gained customers for life. Highly, highly recommend!

I purchased a dining table on 10/20/2020. My original delivery date was 11/2/2020. The delivery date was changed so I ended up confirming 11/4/2020(today) as the final delivery date. I paid the 89.99 fee for someone to put my table and chairs together, but instead the delivery driver Jose stated he was told to only deliver the table and to NOT put it together. The delivery driver came into my home with no mask covering his face and preceded to tell me this is not his fault and that he only followed the information the warehouse gave. I have spoken to 2 reps now since delivery 1.5hours ago. The last representative I spoke to Incatche called a young lady by the name of Stacey at the store. As soon as Stacey answered the phone, she disconnected the line on me. I called back at 11:30a and spoke to Alvin which put me on hold just to come back and say I did not pay for the delivery fee. I told him could not be looking at my order only for him to place me on hold again. He came back to the line and hung up on me. THIS IS SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would like to know why no one explained this to me , why they did not put together my table and why am I getting the run around? Furthermore, I would like a refund for the delivery charge of 89.99. If someone could help me as soon as possible. This was very bad customer service on your behalf.

I purchased A couch and rug two weeks ago from the Ashley furniture in Highland Indiana the sales person walk me over to the acceptance now counter and I decided to finance the couch they told me the couch was in stock and that I had a delivery date of October 28 I took the day off work to prepare my home for the delivery I’ve never received a call to update me on the status of the time of the day for the delivery I have tried calling the store several times I ended up having to call acceptance now counter for them to transfer me to the manager . It’s the the manager hours to call me back the manager gave me a call back I was told that the delivery was an estimate date for the end of November how do you give a delivery date that’s estimated ! people cannot plan their lives and work with estimated delivery dates the manager showed no concern as far as me having to take the day off she also gave me a new delivery date that’s estimate for over a month from now I ended up getting a refund I suggest that no one buys any furniture from this location at all the manager is very rude and show no concern for the situation the manager name is noir arabi Karbi. I canceled my Order I am also going to tell my friend that has a laway for 1500 to cancel there order

Ashley Furniture in Highland is a wonderful store. Many of selections and wonderful payment plans. We had assistance immediately as we entered the store. Eric W assisted us with finding the right loveseat we were looking for. We even stopped by at first briefly to check out the selection and Eric assisted us and provided his contact. I browsed online and emailed him. He was very helpful and engaging. Once we returned to the store a few weeks later, he came to assist us immediately and began showing us the item types we were looking for. It was a great experience. By the end it felt like we were buying our loveseat from an old friend. We will definitely use this store again for our home furniture needs. Thanks Eric!

The store in highland Indiana never answers the phone.We purchased leather furniture --durablend--five years ago and it is peeling alot.I tried to resolve the problem but they said my warranty expired.This is more than a warranty issue! There was a class action lawsuit for their durablend furniture.This is highway robbery.They need to replace my furniture! Bad bad business.

Super experience at the Ashley Highland. IN store. Our saleswoman, Diana, greeted us, and then left us alone to browse on our own. We walked the store a few times, and when we were ready, she came over to answer any questions. I especially appreciated the fact that Diana wasn't "stalking" us as we looked around. We subsequently bought a couch and matching love seat. Diana was very professional and explained the pricing, the delivery situation, etc., and answered all our questions.

The absolutely WORST furniture store I have ever dealt with. They screwed up multiple times. The delays were expected during COVID and I understood this. Having multiple crews deliver different pieces with promises to assemble and not following through shows that the Ashley HomeStore employs the most irresponsible employees. One crew said the second crew would assemble, the second crew blamed the first crew for not assembling. These employees need to get back to training and learn a thing or two about customer service. To top it off the manager Kathy of the Highland, Indiana store was completely devoid of sympathy and offered us nothing for all our headaches. We now have an empty bedroom we cleared out for the new bedroom set to be assembled yet everything is still in boxes in the garage. I will never shop at ANY Ashley HomeStore again and I highly suggest no one does unless: you want promises of furniture being delivered but not assembled yet you're charged hefty fees for it. If I could choose 0 stars that is exactly what this store would receive from me. Shame on this business for having the lowest standard of customer service!

I’ve been waiting for a mattress and box spring for over a month. Someone from sales called to change my date to an earlier date. The date went from September 10th to September 5th. Closer to that date I didn’t receive any phone calls regarding my order. I called and then was told September 11th. Never received a phone call regarding my order again. I called again and waited on hold for over 30minutes and the date was moved yet again for September 17th. I spoke with someone online and she stated September 29th. At this point a visit to the store was in order because each time I called the wait times were excessive and they would say a different date or “We can’t help you because we can’t look up certain states” or the phone would just hang up. After speaking with a sales manager Noir she stated there would be a $70 refund, that never happened. She also provided a number to contact her directly regarding my issue, she never responded. So today I received an automated call to call a number and confirm my order. Guess what? Stayed on the phone for over 30 minutes and it finally rang just to be hung up on. I’m truly frustrated with this location. They are very deceitful.
Do not shop here they sell you the furniture and never answer the phone again, for changes or questions, doesn’t matter, not sure how they stay open with terrible customer service. Also 10% cancellation fee no matter what!
Still haven’t received what I ordered over a month ago. Not only was I lied to over the phone several times , I went to the store and was given a wrong number to call back just so they could avoid taking care of my order. Truly disgusted and disappointed at the customer service of this location. I can’t believe the store manager would lie to me like that . Changed my delivery 4 times in the last 2 weeks . I wouldn’t say walk in and waste my money again with such a deceitful company.

Ashley furniture by far has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Forget trying to reach them by phone. They will not answer the phone. And it's not just one location because I have been dealing with two seperate locations. You have to physically go into the store and you are told they will resolve the issue, but they don't. I had to finally call their customer resole center and after a half hour on hold I finally got to talk to someone. Don't reccomend doing business with them.
I walked into this store location in Highland, Indiana on 9/7/2020 at approximately 11:30 am and I walked around this store for several minutes. I was never greeted, never asked if I needed any help but yet the two white couples with children that came in after me was immediately greeted and told that someone will be there to assist them shortly. I was looking to purchase a sofa today but since no one felt it necessary to assist or even to greet me I decided my money would be better used at BOB’s Furniture. At least they will greet you as soon as you walk in the door even if they are with another customer. First impressions are lasting impressions. Thank you such an awful first impression. 😠😤☹️

I visited the Ashley furniture store today looking to purchase a sofa. I was greeted by Eric. I pretty much had a price range in mind that I wanted to pay for the sofa. Eric took his time working with me until we narrowed it down to two different sofas. I finally decided on the cheaper one to stay within the budget I came into the store on. Eric was fairly new working in the store but with the help of his store manager Cathy they made the whole shopping experience a nice one.
The people are really helpful and kind and they have nice items. Definitely will shop here again

The first lady who helped me after I reached out was very rude. She complained that she couldn't keep up with me while I was showing her the product I wanted because she was pregnant. Then after I showed her the item and asked if I could take it with me today since it was marked down as clearance, she said she would have to check because they were busy with only 4 people working and it was a weekend. She also stated that because she was pregnant she wouldn't be able to help me take it to my car. I didn't expect her to take it. Usually stores have people working in stock that can help. Then she told me that she had another customer so I would need to wait until she finished with them. Thankfully another salesman helped me while I was waiting, checked me out and assisted me to carry the sofa table to my car. I have been pregnant before so am well aware of issues with that. None of those issues justify rudeness especially when working in sales

I finally got a hold of them on Saturday they needed pictures and I sent them I need to be contacted you said someone would call 24-48 hours still no call and it's now Wednesday I need this fixed ASAP! I have contacted your recovery team at that email on the 25 th of July and have had no response!!!!!!............I sincerely want to thank Sharon Harris for helping me with the problem I was having.The new cushions did come with covers thanks!!
customer service and courtesy. The store was clean, the staff was attentive. The sales associate showed interest in my questions and concerns , sales and promotions .I was allowed to walk around the store in peace without being hassled I saw some beautiful pillows that I purchased also. The sales associate went down the list and showed me each price of the items I bought sales and promotions and discounts . I was truly comfortable and satisfied. I would recommend any person who is interested to buy new furniture to stop by Ashley furniture store.

I purchased a sectional and bedroom set from Ashley furniture back in may in highland Indiana the people at the store were very friendly, but as far as receiving my furniture not so good my bedroom set came in on time my sectional not right away but it got here unfortunately I have been waiting on a left arm chase for over two months to arrive. They send me an email on a specific date since late may and every time I call to confirm they push the delivery another week and it has continued for the past two months... And all they tell me is that it’s the manufacture, just recently I was supposed to receive it on the 31 of July 2020 now they pushed it back to August 4.. It’s upsetting because when I purchased my furniture I paid cash for it all over 5000 dollars and I can’t even receive my complete set.. And they don’t even want to refund my delivery charge.. I will never buy anything form Ashley furniture again

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! IT IS CHEAP AND WILL BREAK. CUSTOMER SERVICE (EVEN WITH 5yr WARRANTY) WILL NOT HELP YOU! I've had my couch for six months and already had it replaced only to break AGAIN! The warranty does not cover if the couch breaks due to poor craftsmanship! Their furniture is cheap and overpriced! Do not waste your money.
We stopped in to check out a couch we saw online to make sure we liked it before we bought it and were met with amazing customer service! We ended up buying our couch in store (with a better deal than we found online) and are very happy!! We will definitely continue shopping with Ashley!

Historical looking furniture...didn't like anything....no one greeted me in this store..I walked the entire store at least 20mins but the reps just stood around talking like I was invisible...Didn't like that at all!!!
I had a HORRIBLE experience at this store! To begin I never write reviews but this situation warranted this review. I went into this location to purchase 4 rooms of furniture for an Air BnB. I walked around, sat on furniture and read signage for 39 minutes before anyone so much as greeted me. After going to the counter where 3 salesman stood around I was then assigned a salesman by the name of Diana. I explained to Diana that I was in the market to purchase a sleeper sofa. Diana directed me to read the sales tags hanging off the furniture to find a sleeper sofa AFTER I had already walked around this entire store twice. I then found a sofa, Diana checked the availability and told me that the sofa set was available. I in turn told Diana, "Great, I will take it. You can write it up" as I walked away I see Diana heading over to other customers asking can she help them with anything. Furthermore I sat there as Diana gave this guy a full overview of a bedroom set. I was upset after being in this store for an hour and receiving little to no "customer service" . I see that they have great reviews and for sure someone is coaching these reviews. I simply CAN NOT see how anyone could even give this place a half of a star.

I do love coming to this store. It is always a friendly no pressure environment. You are greeted warmly and then left to browse for a bit. Service reps are there to answer questions but do not follow you. Dimitri is a great personality and I will be back to have him help me again.

Horrible experience with delivery have not recieved merchandise tried contacting store and they are avoiding me. They have canceled the delivery 4 times and it’s very frustrating to be waiting and get told it won’t show up. And then when financing they messed everything up for me after asking multiple times never was fixed

Went in for the recent Feb 1st sale they had. I was already looking for a specific piece of furniture. Had the privilege of Walter's assistance. Did not feel rushed, he kept the perfect amount of distance from me while I was contemplating the purchase. The piece I desired did not meet any of the sale discounts but Walter Thanked me for my service after I asked if the store offered military discounts, his reply was 'Yes'. I just want to warn customers about purchasing furniture at Ashley Furniture. We purchased a power recliner for my husband last Spring. I asked the salesman if it could support his weight & he assured me it would. Not long after we had the chair when he reclined the chair was crooked. Soon the cushion came loose from the seat. That prompted my husband to get a hold of Ashley furniture he is disabled & needs this chair to keep his feet elevated. They sent out a repairman he ordered parts & fixed it when they came in. It broke the same way again so he called the store again. The same repairman came out & he then reported to the store that it wasn’t a manufacturer defect. After fixing it the first time with no problems. Now the bracket has snapped in half! We still don’t have the chair fixed & have been told the only thing they will do is give us the exact same chair. No refund because when the chair was delivered & we signed the paperwork it states on them that we can not return the furniture. We financed part of the chair the finance company put our account on hold while the file was reviewed & the only thing that happened was they asked the store & they said it’s not a manufacturer defect according to the repairman. We have sent pictures. Now they want us to continue to pay on a broken chair. Ashley Furniture will not do anything to satisfy their customers became they got paid by the finance company already so they don’t care!! I would give them negative stars if I could!!!

Horrible customer service. Came in on a Saturday to look for a new kitchen table and was rushed because the salesman wanted to leave for his kids birthday. I could of understood that if he had said hey let me give you another sales person to help so I can leave but he didn't. I found a table but wasn't 100% sure so we told the salesman we would come back tomorrow so we could think and not be in a hurry to make a choice. Was told no that we would lose the sales price if we didn't make the purchase that day so I was a little skeptical and made sure to ask if we change our mind is it going to be a problem and was told NO! Haha big lie there. I did go in the next day because I wasn't happy with the table I was basically forced to buy because of a time crunch and was told oh guess what your going to be charged 10% for canceling even though I was told I would not. I've been calling them since October to discuss this knowing they had the front desk ladies in front of me when I asked the salesman if it was going to be a problem if I changed my mind. And not one of them has the decency to call me back. There is never a manager on duty and if there is they are extremely busy to talk to a customer. Funny thing is I went in one day and spoke to a manager and then called 10 mins later and was told there was no manager on duty tHat day so I know they are a bunch of liars. I tried to do this the nice way and handle it with them but since they obviously don't care about customer service here is a nice post for them. DO NOT SHOP HERE AND IF YOUR TOLD YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND DONT FALL FOR IT!
First time trying to buy furniture. Would not recommend anybody ever purchase furniture from Ashley Homestore. They don’t handle their own deliveries, it’s outsourced. So now instead of just dealing with the store, you’ll have to deal with their delivery company as well and the two DONT COMMUNICATE. Was scheduled a delivery for a new bed. Was told the day before that one part wouldn’t be here until a later date. Fine, no big deal. I called to double check that the rest of the order would be delivered on time. They said yes, within the 3 hour window. Nothing ever shows up, nobody ever calls or emails about my absent delivery. I then have to contact them mid day the next day to ask where my stuff is at. We ended up having to reschedule. Okay fine. (Missing piece never showed up as a separate delivery as they had told me it would.) Well, I wait another 3 hour window another day.. nobody shows up. They call AFTER the delivery window saying the truck broke down this time. HAHA okay. This is the third excuse and third time rescheduling so I decided to cancel instead seeing as how I kept running into ‘issues’. I called to cancel... they said they would call me back later in the day with a cancellation update. Never called. I had to call again the next day when a truck showed up at my house unscheduled and unannounced. I never confirmed this delivery. Here it is, precisely 8 weeks later since my order and I don’t have the furniture NOR the refund for my order. Every time I call, it’s different information than what the last person said. It’s clear the communication amongst this company is lacking and I absolutely would not recommend going through them for ANYTHING. Not what I expected my first time buying home furniture.

Got to the store they tell me the table is $349 woowow, I pull it up on my phone and show then and well that did not matter to them. Then the chairs are $99.99 each, also different online. I needed the set liked it and went a head and purchased it. We get to the end of the transaction and the commercial said FREE DELIVERY, well guess what IT WAS NOT there you go another $129. In the end a $500 to $600 adventure turned into $842.44 hummmm. I was hoping to furnish my new home at the placeWe will see .. they do have some nice stuff.

I will never in my life use Ashley Furniture again in my life. They showed up an hour early outside of their allotted time slot. So I had to leave work to get things ready. When they arrived I told them they were over an hour early and they needed to wait just 10 minutes so I can move the last few things. They began to unload the truck anyways and put stuff on the wet ground. I told them nevermind just bring it in because I do not want my new furnite to get ruined. They began dragging things across my floor and slamming things on the ground. The handles on every drawer are backwards and they said oh we don't do handles. They are supposed to have a gold glove deliver service with no mess. The pictures below show you how poor their clean up is, actually they did not even attempt to clean up. My wife called customer service while they were here and all she was told was to double check to make sure the furniture wasn't damaged before they left.

Bought a sofa and love seat! when they delivered the furniture the guys broke the sofa bed and had to take it back and the love seat had the fabric on the bottom un staple...called customer service nobody gave me answers called the store nobody answers it was a nightmare never ever will I go back to that store
I work in retail so I understand the level of customer service that is expected. However, this stores associates will check on you ever 2 minutes and talk to you about stuff that doesn't interest you in the slightest just to "build a relationship." They don't take hints that you want to be left alone even if you say you don't want help. To top it off everything is high priced.

The staff are very nice and helpful. I’m giving it 2 stars because of the hassle it was to get my furniture delivered. They originally told me if I ordered a couple things one day and another thing another day they could still deliver all of it on the same day as long as it was 2 days or more before the delivery. They ended up not being able to do it all in 1 day, but they said they can give it to me 1 day after my original delivery. 1 day late is no big deal. Then I get a text out of nowhere with no explanation telling me to confirm the delivery that was already a day later to the next day. It is now 2 days late which is also no big deal. Fast forward about 2 days and I get another text asking what day in the next week would work for delivery. No explanation or anything. I was confused so I called customer service and they had no answers for me on why my already late order was pushed back an entire week. All they could say was they were sorry for the inconvenience. So the delivery process was pretty frustrating.
after searching for what i was looking for at several furniture stores i finally found a living room set i am so happy with. We have bought most of our furniture from Ashley. The quality of their furniture is stellar. We are a family of seven and three dogs. We have had some of our pieces for nearly 10 years and it is still in great shape. Today Marianne was very helpful in trying to locate a vanity that matched our daughters' bedroom set. I believe it was purchased about five years ago. We were not able to find one, but I appreciated her diligence. She was great!

My Father and I went to the Ashley location in Highland Indiana. I purchased a new home and seen a sectional that I was ready to purchase. My Father saw a sectional that he liked also. We walked in and we were never greeted, no one tried to help or even asked if we needed assistance. I sat down in a chair and the representatives would not even make eye contact with me or my Father. However, when some other customers walked in they were greeted and representatives were on their walkie talkies telling one another who to follow and talk to. If this is what this store represents, no one should shop there. I will never spend my money at any place where I am not welcomed even in 2019. However, I am not surprised. This establishment doesn't deserve a star..
Last place I will ever buy anything again in my life time. Too much to type. In short: + spent $4,500 on 3 couches that "can be disassembled to fit any door and any room" as confirmed by the sales person and the manager+ waited two months+ delivery day was confirmed then cancelled within 30 minutes of each other + first delivery crew couldn't disassemble+ spent 5+ hours on calls trying to get resolution+ emailed Jimmy Mai, President and Mike Bruegge, owner, on LinkedIn. Both read the emails but did not respond + ended up driving to the store just to be told "we just sell it, you'll have to call service"+ finally reached a service rep. Put "detailed notes" in the system so a capable crew would deliver them the next time+ delivery crew showed up with no knowledge of notes and no tools...AND just one couch+ had a 3rd attempt made to deliver. Paid my own contractor to be here, he disassembled and got them in the room Never again.

We never heard from them on day of delivery . I then was told that the couch was out of stock and that it would not be delivered until 10-16-19 . I called today to inquire about the delivery on 10-16-19 and was told there was no record . I told them that this was a horrible way to do business after many phone calls trying to find a manger to talk to someone they keep you on the line holding and the message to the customer states " we will be with you in minutes " actually hours . Finally I got fed up and cancelled my phantom couch . Do not do business with this company HORRIBLE!!

Soon after arriving, a young lady by the name of Jessica L. began helping me and I found some items that I thought were going to do the trick. I purchased a full bedroom set (minus the dresser mirror) and thought that I was purchasing one of their high end items. The set looked beautiful on the day it was delivered, but has gone downhill ever since. This set has a fabric headboard, side rails, and bench at the end. The fabric on these pieces, in four months, look absolutely AWFUL. The fabric is all beaded up and looks like it's many years old versus four months old. I have absolutely seen nothing like this before with furniture. We do not even sit against the headboard because we purchased a bed that allows us to raise our heads. But with the pillows touching the headboard, our legs touching the side rails and items touching the bench it looks absolutely ridiculous given both the cost and the little time we have had this unit. Beside the horrible fabric, the drawers do not close all the time. . . they just pop back open. WEIRD. I wish that was my only problem. When I came in, I also purchased a leather couch that had been marked down. When I selected the discounted sofa, I was not told that it could not be delivered. It wasn't until my paperwork was completed that I was told that. At that time, I asked if they knew anyone who could assist and Jessica and Store Manager Cesar provided me with someone to call. On the day the couch was to be picked up from Ashley and delivered to me was a crazy weather day that included snow. Jorge and his crew arrived with the couch, completely uncovered and being snowed on. They got to my front door and said that the couch would not fit. They did not bring it in or attempt to bring it inside. I called Jessica and Jorge called Cesar because he knew him and Cesar agreed to take it back since Jorge insisted that it wouldn't fit. I did that because when I purchased my furniture, Cesar offered to waive my $199 delivery charge if I purchased a Tempur-Pedic bed that I was considering. Once I agreed, they reflected that amount on the invoice by reducing the price of the couch from $969 to $769. I wanted to make sure that I would be receiving a credit to my account for $969 + tax because I was still due the $199 that was taken off of my bill once I agreed to purchase the bed. Jessica told me that she would make sure this happened. When I did not see it reflected on my bill I began to contact Jessica again. She eventually stopped returning my messages and I have not received my $199, which I would still like applied to my account. I looked at reviews online and saw two people replying to bad reviews. Instead of posting my bad review, I emailed both KL and Mary. That was 21 days ago today and I have yet to receive a reply from anyone. After spending almost $10,000 at Ashley, I can truly say that this was my WORST PURCHASE EVER! I will never buy from Ashley again! I spent over 15 grand in this store in July (cash). When it was time to deliver my things, they were rushing through my house. They chipped fresh paint on my walls, and dirtied fresh cleaned carpet. They scratched up new furniture and also broke a cocktail table because they were rushing. The crew, poorly assembled all furniture and had to call them back several times to come out to fix. I also have a recliner from them that never worked. My mother never sat in the chair yet to enjoy it, and the motor went out. Instead of them replacing the chair, they sent a new motor. They have yet to come to replace that. My kitchen table was scratched ( from the movers) and defective. They send someone out to fix it by using a furniture marker. The cherry on the cake was the other day, me and my husband were lying in bed and it just collapsed. He discovered that screws were missing. That has yet to be fixed as well. I am so disgusted my their customer service and how they treat their customers. I will never spend a penny in this store ever in life. And if you are looking for a pleasant experience, then don't ever use them. They made my home buying experience horrible.
I have yet to receive all of my order. They also keep moving my shipment back and even when they tell me what i'm supposed to receive I only receive parts of it. I guess if you don't care when you get your furniture you can shop here. Right now I'm 2 of hopefully only 3 deliveries for my small handful of items.

I was told only one chair I ordered was on back-order but it was actually several items I ordered. Then I was told my furniture would be delivered last Sunday so I took off work and they never showed up, I had to call the store and was told everything would not be in for another 2 weeks! Yesterday I received the lamps I ordered which I was told would come with the rest of my furniture and they left them in my back yard to be rained on. When I brought them inside I realized they sent the wrong lamps! I called the store several times to speak to the manager and I was hung up on twice then told they would call me back! STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO CALL! I am beyond frustrated and will NEVER purchase from them again!

Scamming people. Completely different pricing in stores compared to online. They try saying furniture pieces are certain amount of pieces when they are really not. When you point it out they tell you they are a franchise store and do things differently than corporate.
In 2016 I purchased a chaise and sectional with the extended 5 year warranty plan. On 8/5/19 I noticed a rip in one of the seat cushions of the sofa. I first contacted the Ashley store and was instructed to call GBS,the warranty company. I submitted a claim as directed which was denied as material was missing from the cover(which I knew because,it is a rip). I then contacted Ashley again and asked how I could purchase the cover. I was quoted a price of $57.00 for 3 covers,and was told that I had to go to the store to process the payment.The representative assured me that all of the information was noted on my account and would be easily accessible by the retail store. On 8/14/19 at 10:00 AM I presented to Ashley furniture to order the cover. The Ashley employee was very helpful ,however she was unable to locate the notes on my account. It took 1 hour for her to obtain the information which was then different then the information I had been given. I was quoted a price of $107.00 for the part. At that time I left the store to contact the corporate office for clarification. I requested to speak with a manager and was connected to a woman who identified herself as Harley,the manager of customer care. She was able to determine I was quoted the wrong price on both occasions and that the correct price for 1 cover was $57.00 and that I would need to again go to the store to order the part. Harley indicated that she would put all of the information in my account. On 8/15/19 at 10:00 I attempted to order the cover. I approached the customer service desk and was greeted by Dalia. She was unable to find the information in my account. She was extremely frustrated as she informed me they were on a "new system". She called the corporate office for guidance and it seemed she was having an difficult time in understanding what she needed to do. In the meant time,my 2 small children who had accompanied me to the store for the second time in as many days were sitting on recliners while they waited. They were never out of my sight. I saw a man(I found out later he was the manager,Tommy) walk in their direction and it appeared he had spoken to them. My older son approached me and said the man had "yelled at them". By this time,30 minutes later,it seemed I was no closer to obtaining the part I needed and I was slightly frustrated. Tommy,the manager approached the desk to assist Dalia with the seemingly impossible task of ordering a part. When he approached, I asked him to not correct my children,I explained that if they were not wanted in the store we would happily leave once the part was ordered. I then asked if I was the first person ever to need to order a replacement part. At this time,Dalia screamed, "yes in fact you are. On this new system yes you are,Congratulations". I was shocked. In 20 years of working for a law enforcement agency dealing with people convicted of heinous crimes, I was never spoken to in that manner and more importantly, I never spoke to any of them in such a disrespectful,manner. This all took place in front of the the manager (Tommy). I calmly explained that I would not tolerate being spoken to like that and I would need the employee reprimanded. Dalia then got up and left her desk. I continued expressing my frustration to the manager while another sales person came to assist. Finally,I was told they had figured out how to order the part at which time Dalia returned to the desk. I was hesitant to continue the transaction with her as she was very hostile. I expressed that to the manager. I was told she was the only one there capable of processing the payment. I then said I would come back another day. At this time, Dalia began verbally assaulting me. Saying I should be patient, she would pay for the cushion, so I could go home and relax,she was combative and I became concerned as I was in the store with my 2 small children. She then,grabbed a tissue from a box,threw the box in my direction and said,I quit, walked away. I hurriedly attempted to exit the store as I was frightened. Tommy informed me that he wold have the cover sent to my home free of charge due to the incident he observed. The following day I contacted the corporate office to verify the cover had been ordered and report the incident. I was told the cover and not been ordered. I spoke with Harley,explained the situation and she assured that she would pass my information along to the DM. At about 5 PM that day I was contacted by a man named Ceaser (manager). I was in the car with my 2 small children and answered the phone hands-free. He told me that I would need to come in to the store to order the part. When I tried to talk,he shouted at me repeatedly finally saying if I came to the store he would call the police. He then hung up on me. My children and I are traumatized.These threats come from people that know where I live. The DM has yet to call. I will never step foot in Ashley again.
I've had horrible customer experience with Ashley Furniture in Highland, IN. They've been holding my refund for two weeks since I canceled my order after they no-showed twice. No luck with management or corporate offices. I've spent several hours in the phone for the last two weeks and have been back to the store and they refuse to give me my money back.
DO NOT WASTE your money on this furniture. I received my couch and chair with a tear in the couch the arms of my chair and couch with wrinkles. It's been a year and they still haven't fixed it. The new company they have providing service calls is a JOKE. They lied and told me for over a month and a half they were coming to finally fix the problems. Each time I receive a call the day of telling me the technician is sick and can't make it. I guess they forgot they told me the last two times they rescheduled and then said I canceled. Please look elsewhere because you cannot trust them especially for this overpriced MESS!!

Gloomy environment couldn't find what I was looking for.
On 7/5/2019 I ordered a high boy 5 piece kitchen set. It was delivered a week later with high boy chairs and regular size table. The deliveryman reported the issue amd I was told longer legs for the table would be ordered and delivered the following week, 7/12. On 7/12 a repairman was sent with tools and when I explained what waa supposed to happen per customer service, he stated that legs don't get ordered and that another table should have been ordered. I called customer service the same day and waa told that a new 5pc set was ordered, that I'll get an email confirmation of the order and that it would be delivered the following week, 7/19. After days of no email confirmation, I called customer service and was told no order had been placed. I was transferred to tje store at which time the set was actually ordered and that a $100 gift card will be mailed for the inconvenience. On 7/30 customer service called to say the set won't be delivered because there was a balance due at which time I told the rep that I played cash for the set. Again I was directed to the store. I drove to the store and was told the mix up was due to a change over of the system but ensured me the problem was resolved with a special note added that the furniture be double checked due to prior issues. Delivery date was set for today, 8/2/2019. The Delivery man showed up and said 3 of the 4 chairs were broken in transit because they were on the bottom. So only the table was replaced. This has been very frustrating to say the very least. I'm hesitant to shop there again even with the gift card. One mistake is understandable but this was 3 times. The right thing to do would be for corporate to call me with an apology and make sure I'm a returning customer because I could have told the delivery man to remove the entire set and get a refund. Make it right Ashley.
Buyer beware. My family ordered several pieces of furniture from this store six weeks ago. The day delivery was scheduled, we got a call that one of five pieces wasn't arriving. Ok. When they arrived they only had two pieces, and the seats and headboard for my daughters bed (not the hardware and completely unassembled). A second truck came with a few other pieces, damaged, and still no daughters bed assembled. The third shipment was scheduled the following week, we got a text that they were arriving, and then two hours later I called and had someone tell me that the missing furniture was discontinued. I know that's a lie since I had seen the storage (damaged), and my daughter had half a bed. A fourth shipment was canceled. Then a fifth shipment was scheduled the following week, but no parts to assemble my daughters bed for the fifth time. To be clear, I had to proactively and aggressively call to figure out what was going on with our purchase again and again. Nobody ever apologized except the actual sales rep we bought furniture from, and nobody could give me a straight answer or seemed to know what to do. If I called corporate they said to call the store, while the store would blame the warehouse. The manager did not call me back, and was dodgy when I finally came back to the store to cancel the missing furniture which I still have not seen refunds for. This has been a terrible experience, and what's worse the company was extremely non-apologetic and never provided actual answers.

Cesar runs an amazing team as the manager of this store! Went in for their 25% off sale, which was really late at night. Was there from 930pm-12am. Cesar greets you right when you walk in, makes you feel at home and lets you browse! He then send a sales person over to make sure you have a great experience. I was picky, and CLIFF, our sales man, was amazing with my annoying self. He was very patient and took the time to help us and with honesty and grace. We ALWAYS come to this store when purchasing from Ashley! Way to go!!

Very very unprofessional salesman Thomas failed to inform my sister that is handicapped that all sales are final, she tried out 5 Lift recliner chairs . She later sat on the chair to recline and the recline wasn't how she thought it would be. She asked me to call the store to see if we could exchange the chair , Delia argued with me and said there are absolutely NO returns , I asked for Adell supposedly the Mgr to return my call. Three hours later no call, I called again and asked for him. He was not concerned at all that we were not satisfied with the chair , told me "this isn't Walmart, and we don't sell used furniture. I told him his sales person Thomas failed to tell us that important information about NO returns at the time of sale. His response was "she signed for it". Very unprofessional and did nothing absolutely nothing to resolve this issue . This chair was $775.00. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of the elderly and the disabled. I told him I will come to the store to resolve and he said come on and I'll call the police . WOW!!! This is NOT how a customer should be treated ...

"Beware the Bait and Switch" My family and I made our third visit to and purchase from this location of Ashley HomeStore today and encountered a situation which I found to be particularly underhanded, a variation of the classic "Bait and Switch" shady sales strategy. After deciding on a mattress and bedframe from their top of the line Tempurpedic mattress offering and a nice dark wood sleigh bed frame, we began talking numbers and discounts. Our salesperson indicated that their 6 year (72 month) interest free financing, which is also represented on several signs right when you walk in the front door, could be used for our purchase and she calculated our monthly payment by, of course, dividing the total amount of our purchase + tax, by 72. Payment = Total Cost / Term (in months). Simple. For example sake, our total purchase including tax came out to ~ $4,600, divided by 72 equaled a monthly payment of $63. 89. We were happy with this amount and proceeded to run my credit to get approved for a line of credit with which to finance our purchase. The credit check was quick and easy and I was immediately approved for more than was needed for this purchase alone. When we get to the register and the salesperson tallies up our order, she informs me that due to the discounts we received, which were $200 off (because we opted out of the two Tempurpedic pillows that were included, a $200 value) plus $100 off from a promotion that my wife had received in the mail for her birthday which was earlier this month, that we could only do a 48-month (4 year) financing term. A quick recalculation using the same formula and this "switched" term outputted a payment amount of $95. 83, or a difference of +$31. 94, from the monthly payment amount that she had originally offered to us. My immediate response was to say, "You mean to tell me that because we took the reduction in cost, via opting for the $200 discount instead of the pillows, and because you applied the discount that was mailed to us, that that some how jumped us into financing terms that are two years shorter than you originally offered us? That's seems pretty ridiculous, and a bit of a 'bait and switch. '" I went on to ask to speak to the manager. Instead of bringing the manager over, she went and talked to him herself, and came back offering a 60-month term. She went on to advise that with this term-length, our payment would be reduced to $76. 66 (or +$13. 23 more than we were originally quoted). I indicated that I was still very displeased with the fact that the deal pricing that we'd agreed had somehow been changed solely because we'd captured discounts which were offered to us of the store's/company's own free will, and after I'd already accepted a hard-pull of my credit and the associated "ding" that comes with such an inquiry, such that were we to want back out now (on general principle of my not being willing to acquiesce to what amounted to a bait and switch), I'd have suffered said ding for no reason. Taking matters into my own hands I went and found the manager of the store whose name was Adel. I indicated to Adel, in a very even and matter of fact tone, that I was not pleased with the apparent "bait and switch" strategy that I felt we'd fallen victim to, and that I wanted him to hold true to the original term/pricing that we'd been offered, and had agreed to. His brow furrowing, Adel immediately became defensive, and said that I was mischaracterizing what had just happened. It wasn't a bait and switch he said. When asked why he'd gotten so defensive if it wasn't really a bait and switch, he said that he said, that he didn't appreciate being called a thief, and that he hadn't been successful for so many years in the furniture business by cheating. He reiterated that 60-months was the best that he could do. He went on to say that normally they required a 20% down payment for any 72-month term financing, but that he would accept $500 (~10. 8% of our purchase amount) if the 60-month term he was offering would be that big of a deal breaker. He went on to say that I would be hard-pressed to find 72-month financing that didn't require a down payment anywhere else, especially in the furniture industry. Irrelevant, right? I went on to advise Adel that if AshleyHome furniture as a company, the Broadview store location, and he as manager of said didn't want to be accused of "baiting and switching" by other, "non-push over" customers like myself in the future, that he should direct his salespeople to indicate from the outset, that the 72-month term that they were advertising both verbally and in print, required a down payment, rather than doing so at the end of the transaction, once their customers had already made their minds up. He agreed, unapologetically, which made me think that no changes would be made, and that this tactic had been perpretrated intentionally. In otherwords, we weren't the first and wouldn't be the last.

Excellent service throughout the multiple hours that we were here picking out all new furniture for a new home. Maricela in particular was an excellent customer service agent and representative for Ashley. We ended up getting excellent prices on a range of bedroom and living room furniture that suits our family in terms of both the adults and the parents in the home. I'm quite happy with the selection and the prices, not to mention the overall decor and ambiance of the store itself.
