I purchased a new sofa. Mike our sales associate was very helpful. It takes me a bit of time to make a final decision and Mike was very patient. This was a great buying experience and I will recommend them to everyone.

I have purchased from Ashley two different times in 10 years. Each time delivery has been a nightmare. This current time, they only put half my order on the truck and I found out the day off! I then rescheduled for another day and guess what! The order wasn’t on the truck again. They have done nothing to accommodate me and my next delivery date is over 2 weeks away! They offered for me to pick up at the distribution center which is 45 min away and only open when I work. I am NEVER buying from Ashley again.

I usually do not post reviews, but this place is complete trash. The delivery team is the worst part about it. I ordered in store a bed set this consisted of a bedframe, dresser, nightstand, and a mirror that is supposed to be attached to the dresser . It was set for home delivery And everything came except for the part I wanted the most the mirror. The delivery man brought everything in except for a mirror. He was not going to inform me that it was apparently on a whole Nother truck and would be supposedly coming later. The only reason he let me know that is because I asked myself where is the mirror that I paid for? he kept saying that his supervisor was bringing the mirror in another truck and will put it together himself. How does that even make any sense? He then had me confirm that the truck would bring the mirror later the same day and had me sign something. I then received an email after he left of a delivery confirmation on this delivery confirmation, it said that everything was delivered, including the mirror and then it had pictures of everything that was delivered yet there’s no picture of a mirror so why would you check that off and try to confirm it. What type of scammers is Ashley furniture hiring? we wait just to see if what he said was true and of course it wasn’t no other truck came so we proceeded to call the customer service line. at this point me and my grandmother are playing phone tag with these people because why do we have to call multiple times and why are we getting multiple different answers which are all a bunch of lies!!! one person is telling me that it is no longer coming today and that I now have to fill out a form because these delivery people lied. While another person is telling us that it is on its way and that the truck is still coming today to drop off the mirror that I spent MY MONEY on. as a delivery person is it that hard to just give me every single one of my items???! now I’m over here stressing these customer service people all they did was lie because nothing that they said was true and nothing that they said happened. We then tried to call the actual Ashley furniture store that I purchased the stuff at and the manager had an attitude and every time we try to talk and explain the situation we were cut off. I don’t know what type of people are a part of Ashley furniture but they are nothing but MONEY HUNGRY LIARS. These people do not care that your stuff will go missing. these people do not care that you are wasting your money and your time because I literally had to take a day off of work for this delivery just for everything not to be here??! I am stressed and I am irritated that nothing has been done.Will I ever get this mirror? I do not believe so either I need a refund or I need what I paid for NOW!!! BEWARE OF THIS LOW DOWN DIRTY COMPANY!! Update: They finally delivered the mirror but of course they still did something wrong because these people can do nothing right!! All I see is them scrurry out of my house and when I come to see the mirror I look over and one of my items is on the floor broken. These people broke my property didnt say anything and ran out the door before I could notice!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY OR THESE PEOPLE!! They use the most sketchy trashy delivery drivers known. NEVER AGAIN!!
This is the 3rd time we have purchased furniture from Ashley. Our sales rep DJ was very nice and gave us time to look around. Zero Stars. Buyer Beware. Please don't ever shop at Ashley Home Store in Castelton Indiana. This is the worst ran company I have ever dealt with. Partial furniture deliveries, stained furniture when delivered, they put a hole in my wall upon delivery, countless lies on when the rest of my furniture will be delivered. A human being will not call me back after several attempts on their horrible chat box feature. I was told by a human they would cancel my delivery of the remaining furniture items and come pick up the furniture out of my house and issue me a refund. Nope, the software can't understand that. I still gets texts that they want to deliver canceled items. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint. Please please please don't shop here.

Store was not very busy. Several sales folks sitting at the desk chatting. Two salespeople walked past me and never addressed me. I walked past the desk and at no time did anyone offer to help me. I had to walk to the desk to ask for assistance. There is just very little effort made to help me as a customer.

Wrong chair delivered. Need to reorder the chair that was purchased as it is out of stock. Could take 3-4 weeks to deliver. Customer service was nice and doing all they can, but makes no sense why the wrong chair was promised and delivered. Mistakes happen but this is very annoying.

Quick. Efficient. Helpful. Transparent. Grateful for how DJ thoroughly explained everything for us for our recent purchase and the experience was top tier. We appreciated the attention to detail to the point of spotting the color we were thinking for the furniture would actually be different then what we initially saw because of the lighting and he made sure we saw a true representation before ordering.

Just bought a house and looking for furniture and got recommended to come here. So we walked around the entire store for over half an hour, sat on many couches, took photos of couches we were interested in, and ignored by every worker. They look at us and walk away to help others. A few of them were even sitting down on couches laughing and joking. So I’d say they’re judging by looks. I didn’t even get a ‘hello’ or anything from anybody.

Was told that exterior damage was covered on the dining table we purchased and part of the $500 warranty we paid and come to find out that there are numerous exclusions that make it challenging to get anything covered. Have been a long time Ashley customer and will now heavily avoid and not recommend. 0/10

My visit was good. However when I asked for the product the Ashley app said was in stock at that store, I was informed it wasn’t. I still purchase it and I’m waiting for the delivery date.
Buyer Beware! Do not buy furniture from Ashley! All orders end up with an issue and customer service is absolutely terrible! We ordered an entire bedroom set in September which was delivered. However, there was a defective part that we were told could be replaced in 3-7 days. Based on this, we accepted the delivery. Now, over 2 months later, we have been given run around after run around and excuse after excuse, with no known date for resolution. We continue to sleep with the mattress on the floor and several thousand dollars worth of furniture not in use in corners of the bedroom. Unfriendly and unhelpful customer service personnel have no answers and act like they do not care and we are the problem. There is no follow-up and when you do call them, you wait forever to just be treated like crap. We are now trapped because we accepted the delivery - so supposedly no returns! Please spend your hard earned money someplace where the customer is a priority.
My work gave me a budget of $300 and the manager was so helpful and able to get me. A loveseat delivered to the office for that budget.

Back in September, I ordered a mattress. The order was repeatedly postponed over the course of two months. Sick of trying to schedule around their repeated rescheduling, I decided to cancel. Across several days I reached out to them through the only means that they will provide, which is via text message. I kept getting disconnected mid conversation with some automated system, before finally being able to cancel with them over the phone and get connected to a human being. I was advised not to worry about returning any of the complementary Labor Day special swag by the phone associate and that the billing account was closed. In the meantime, I have a new in box "mattress protector" for a mattress that I never received sitting in my office. I was billed $400 for it today. I called the store, and they told me all items are non-returnable. And then I was advised to call the issuing credit card company to dispute the charges, which can take "up to 60 days", and then the vendor has 45 days to do an investigation. I will be dealing with this probably throughout next year, and it has already impacted my credit score in the meantime, because that is how I was notified about this. This went from "I will wait until after the holiday season because I work in sales and can't schedule time to receive it" to "I will never in 1000 years to business with this company ever again" really fast.

I have purchased a buffet, kitchen table , couches and bedroom suite over the past 7 years. Always happy with their in store service and they are not overwhelming pushy for you to buy something.
Both Chris the floor salesman and Chris the manager went above and beyond to make my shopping experience pleasurable. I got all the help I needed while browsing, choosing, and eventually purchasing items. Chris even looked up a few items that weren’t on the showroom floor, and showed them to my kids (we were shopping for their bedrooms) when they were having trouble deciding on what they wanted. After my son’s first choice was noted as a discontinued item, Chris took his time to find something comparable in both style and price for us. I’ll be returning soon for my other furniture needs.

We purchased a sofa at the Castleton store. The sales associate was decent and we set up delivery with them at the time of purchase. The delivery date was essential due to having family from out of town. 2 days later we were contacted to set up delivery which was different than one we had when we purchased the sofa. The customer service rep was rude and said the salesman lied about delivery and they don’t work that way and ended the conversation before we were even finished. Now we must loose time from work to be here for delivery if we decide to take it. Ashley needs to get their procedures and staff on the same page before I will shop there again.

We bought a couch from here little over a year ago. I have called multiple times and they are zero help on our issue when I repeat over and over again what our issue is with this very expensive purchase they want me to do the work and the individual who sold us this couch did not tell us that this item pills extremely bad and will look so old after a year and that he recommends purchasing a warranty because of that he acted like that warranty wouldn’t cover that and it’s just cover pet damage, stains, holes. So we opted out as we knew we would not have that issue. Then a few months go by and it starts to pill and so I called and they were zero help and were asking me to do all the work or go purchase a fabric shaver. The quality is awful. Very dissatisfied and will never be buying furniture from Ashley again and will make sure to not recommend them.

I paid for a service that never hit its delivery window, never communicated with me, and then failed to deliver on the agreed upon day. DO NOT PAY this fee, ask for it to be waived or pay this follow satisfactory completion of the job.
I will never do business with Ashley Furniture again. We visited the Castleton location last weekend and ended up finding exactly what we were looking for and had a smooth in store experience completing our order. Delivery, however, has been a complete nightmare. We were told it would be delivered yesterday (Saturday) and were given a window of 3:30-6:30. They provided a tracking link to get an ETA for delivery. The time kept getting later and later and I ended up calling around 2:30 when I saw the delivery time was listed as 9pm. The representative told me that there was an alert that the truck was having a mechanical problem and that she would “see if they could get the couch onto another truck to get it to us” and that she would call me back. She texted me a bit later saying there wasn’t an ETA but that a truck was going out and she would let me know when they had a timeframe. I never heard from her again. Finally at 7:45pm I received a call from someone else and was informed that my couch would not be delivered and that it would be delivered today (Sunday). I received another text with a new delivery window of 11-2. Once again, the time continued to get later and later with no communication from Ashley Furniture or the delivery team. They finally arrived around 4:50pm and we had received no notice that they were on their way. The delivery drivers were nice enough, however they handled the furniture very roughly and I was worried they were going to knock something over with how quickly they were moving and not taking into account the other furniture we had in the room. Had I known that this experience was going to be this terrible, I never would have paid for the “premium” delivery service or shopped at Ashley Furniture in the first place - this has been the worst delivery service I have ever had. Overall I’m the most disappointed that we wasted our entire weekend waiting for our furniture to be delivered with absolutely no communication from Ashley. We had thought about looking for more furniture at this store because it was such a nice experience initially, but now we will be going elsewhere for all other furniture we purchase.

I had a wonderful experience at the Ashley Furniture store buying a sectional. The Employee who assisted me was wonderful, kind and extremely helpful and I left with a sectional I was really happy with!
My partner and I just bought a new house and need, essentially, all new furniture. We went to the Labor Day sale this weekend and Ashley's prices were 100% the best in town with all the combined deals. Michael Park was our helpful sales guru and he made the process so seamless, easy and (dare I say?) fun! He was the perfect balance of "go explore and I'll check in with you" and "here is something similar I think you may also like." He also was constantly looking for pieces online/in stock that he thought we may like better or would work better for our space. He was thoughtful and polite and not at all pushy. He turned an overwhelming process into a day of fun. We will be back!
It would be nice if you could take fabric samples home to see how they look in your room, so that was disappointing. Hopefully the delivery will go well. Ordering was quick and easy.

Gigi was very helpful and not at all a pushy salesperson. She let us wander and browse at our own pace. She was very helpful with getting the sales prices and explained the additional warranty information. We had numerous questions and she answered all of them fully.

Edited after delivery. We are extremely unhappy with the delivery process. Our home is in a new neighborhood and their delivery system sent the driver to the wrong location 3 times. First delivery had one item damaged at warehouse and not included, one item the wrong color, a desk damaged and a wobbly table. Second delivery, I had to drive to where the truck was to have him follow me to the house (mind you, this is delivery #2). This delivery both couches were damaged and we refused them. Table wasn’t wobbly but had a scratch, but we accepted it. 3rd delivery was cancelled by them when I tried to tell them their location was not correct (address IS correct). They refused to deliver items even though they were on the truck. No help from customer service and twice a manager was supposed to call and never did. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. At this point I don’t think we are ever getting the couches and will be cancelling a several thousand dollar order due to their extreme ineptitude and failure to deliver undamaged goods. We went in looking for furniture for our new house. Gigi greeted us and gave us the sale info then left us to wander the store. We found several items we wanted to purchase and Gigi, along with store managers Toby and Michael were all so helpful answering all our questions and providing pricing. We were very pleased with our experience and would definitely shop there again.
Excellent service! Everyone was extremely helpful and there was an amazing discount for Labor Day weekend. Tiffany Armstrong helped us from the time we walked in until the end of our purchase. The store manager was funny and had an awesome personality. I highly recommend this store and the friendly staff.

Finally decided to pick out some pieces with the help of Tiffany. She was amazing. Answered questions we had, before we could even ask them ourselves. I purchased a nice matching sofa, love seat and chair to replace my old set. Devin Walker, the sales representative was courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions regarding the quality of service and product. A few days after the transaction I had to revise my delivery date after selling my old furniture. Devin was not as prompt in assisting and the revised date still left me waiting a week for delivery with no furniture. The mark of a good sales representative is not how one treats a customer prior to the sales closure but how the customer is treated after the transaction is completed. I revised my review for Devin to 3 of 5 stars.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. READ ALL THE RECENT BAD REVIEWS BEFORE GOING THERE!! Not worthy of 1 Star! GO TO GODBY FURNITURE FOR EXCELLENCE SERVICE! We went to buy living room furniture in Mid-April and made our selection. It is now mid-July. We received calls & scheduled delivery THREE TIMES. Yesterday thinking the third time was a charm….. It was anything but…It was a Total Nightmare! We were instructed to remove existing furniture as they would not. My husband and I are Senior Citizens and needed help removing the existing furniture-which we did prior to delivery time. The delivery came and was only PART OF OUR ORDER AND WAS HORRIBLY DAMAGED. WE WERE INFORMED THEY KNEW IT WAS DAMAGED WHEN IT CAME TO THEIR WAREHOUSE YET THEY TRIED TO DELIVER IT ANYWAY….WHO DOES THIS? Of course we could not accept it in the damaged condition. EVEN THE DELIVERY GUY WAS SHOCKED & DISAPPOINTED THEY NEW IT WAS DAMAGED BUT SENT IT OUT ANYWAY. NOW we were left with no furniture and no place to sit. I spoke with ASHLEY FURNITURE AND THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP US. EVEN PROMISED TO CALL US BACK AND DID NOT. My Mid-70’s husband and myself have No Place to it or to sit on the floor with ABSOLUTELY NO REMEDY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. SO WE WENT TO GODBY FURNITURE AND THEY WERE KIND, UNDERSTANDING AND ACCOMMODATING. THANKS TO GODBY FURNITURE we will have furniture this week. WE WILL NEVER USE ASHLE FURNITURE AGAIN. WE WILL TELL EVERYONE WE KNOW ABOUT THEIR MASSIVE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVCE AND HORRID BUSINESS PRACTICES. And….NO CANNED REPLY MATTERS AT THIS POINT

I love Ashley furniture, but customer service I DO NOT love. in particular the customer service through the 1-800/866 line and/or warehouse. We were to receive our furniture delivery today, which we did minus the mattress....even received the foundation. We were not informed that it wasn't coming, discovered we weren't getting it when the delivery drivers told us there was no mattress on the truck. Now that we have no mattress my teenage son has no bed to sleep in for days (and it is a holiday weekend)as we got rid of his the night before in anticipation of the delivery. If we had been informed that the mattress was not coming we would have planned differently. We are being told that it simply was not sent from their main warehouse in IL. Ashley customer service has failed us big time!
I regret to share that my experience at this store was disappointing. The customer service provided by the store manager was below expectations, rude and unprofessional. Furthermore, the furniture I purchased exhibited numerous defects, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, I found the warranty policy misleading, as it required a substantial additional expenditure of $500 to be eligible to use it, which felt unreasonable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store.

While I gave the in-store experience 5 stars, the delivery experiences makes me question if I will return… We were supposed to have 3 items delivered today (the 4th is delayed). We were given a 4 hour window for delivery. It continually kept getting pushed back. 1 hour after the delivery window, we received a text saying the driver was approx. 15 minutes away. We tracked the driver as he drove to the other side of the city and sat in a gas station parking lot for over 30 minutes… One hour after we received that text, I called the Guest Response Team and was told I’d get a call back. No one called back. 2.5 HOURS LATER, I get an automated text saying the delivery driver arrived. I checked the locator — he was still on the other side of town. Hopefully, someone will call soon so this can be resolved and I can update this review from 1 star to something more positive?

They dint know how their refunds work, because, and I'm quoting. " these things are tricky!" It took 2 and a half months to get a refund. I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered a whole bedroom set, showed up without the dresser with no warning after telling me it was all in stock. Scheduled delivery for the following week for the dresser and they showed up with a damaged product. Scheduled delivery for the following week, mind you this is now 3 weeks from the original delivery. They come back a second time with another damaged dresser. No one would answer the phone to the point i had to go in to the store to get an answer about when and if I’ll get a dresser that’s not damaged. That’s when the manager promised me some type of refund. We eventually get the dresser but no refund ever came. Called the store 5 times before someone picked up & then they said he’d call back, he never did. Quality assurance is obviously not of concern with this place or their employees who are not very nice or helpful. Not to mention the $300 delivery fee you pay just for them to deliver broken pieces not once but twice. Save yourself a headache and don’t purchase from them.
My experience was unexpected but it turned out to be one of the most satisfying sales encounters in making a purchase. We worked with Jen and she was amazing. She has a thorough command and knowledge of her product. Very personable.

We had purchased a furniture set in February and were told part of our order was back ordered until May. When May came we were then told via text message that our order was pushed out until June. We had already gotten rid of our old furniture anticipating the arrival of the new set now being stuck with nothing. You only get an automated system when calling the store which is useless. We then went into the store to talk to someone who then told us that it showed no text messages were sent and part of our order would arrive mid May and the other the beginning of June. It’s frustrating that we had paid the entire amount for the set when we have been waiting over 3 months! There has been no communication whatsoever. I will not be doing any future business with Ashley furniture after this experience. Funny how the only reviews they respond to are the 5 star reviews.

The furniture is beautiful but the customer service is awful. They sent an incomplete product to my house and getting anyone to answer the phone and help has been nearly impossible. Every phone number they provide sends you to an automated unhelpful system. I will never buy from Ashley again after this experience.

We bought a warranty from them five years ago. We never ended up needing to use it, so they sent us an email saying we had $90 of in-store credit. We decided to go and buy a rug. Once we arrived we were informed that there were stipulations that we had to purchase a full price item, we also had to spend at least $500. None of this information was included in the email and was also not given to my husband when he called asking for my details. We will not be returning and we are frustrated at time wasted. We don't much care about the money, it just seems so like poor business to "bait and switch" the customer. Seems pretty slimy if you ask me. My husband was informed later that ultimately it was "up to the manager's discretion" on how much he could spend. So incredibly sleazy and slimy.
Furniture is great. Delivery was terrible. They stepped in and spread dog S@!& a cross my new carpet both on the basement stairs and floor and the steps going into the house. The dog stuff was in the yard.

The furniture is nice but my husband and I actually did not end up buying from this place. The salesperson was VERY pushy and seemed to hover the whole time we were there. We also informed him that we are new homeowners and proceeded to show us some of the most expensive items in the store. When we’d try to look at other things that we found interesting or liked he’d try to redirect us to another pricy item. We did find a bedroom set we liked but didn’t want to go back due to this certain salesperson.

I purchased a sleeper sofa on the phone from Ashley Furniture on Feb 24,2024 Apparently the gentlemen wrote down the wrong part and I didn't catch it. It was delv March 5th. Once it was discovered that it wasn't a sleeper sofa less than 10 minutes after it was delv I called customer service and was told they would look into it. Toby called me later that day and said the Manager, Luke would call me Thursday, he never did. I called him and he said he would look into it and call me back. Again he never did. Only after I threatened to call my credit card company did I get a response NOT FROM THE MANAGER but from a bot. I was willing to pay a pickup charge and get the correct couch. I understand that people make mistake but it should take over a week just to find out that the wrong part was ordered.THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SHOULD I SAY LACK OF IS APPALLING
From start to finish this was one of the most enjoyable furniture shopping experiences I’ve ever had. Jennifer, the sales lady, was amazing. She was kind, knowledgeable, easy to talk too, but NOT PUSHY! You could tell she understood the needs and restraints for a working family and she did everything possible to get us the best price. The furniture is really nice and is good quality for a decent price. They had a good selection and the salesperson was helpful, but not pushy and communicated well throughout the ordering process. The order was not fulfilled when promised. So we waited a good 3 weeks more than anticipated. It might be better to just give a date range rather than frustrate customers with items coming later than expected.

We purchased a tempur pedic mattress split king. Was told during purchase that we could exchange as long as it was equal to or greater than original purchase amount . Within 90 days "guarantee" , is very uncomfortable , the split king separates , the usb port was broken on the base. I have contacted Ashley Customer Care and was told that they would contact me with further exchange notifications. A week later , customer care has no record of our conversation. Was told that I can only exchange mattress for another split set. We hate it !!!! Do not purchase a split set. Now we are stuck with a 9200$ bed set.

We were pleased with our in store experience. There was a hiccup when we were scheduling our order saying one of our split king bases would not be available until March 15th, everything else including mattresses were coming from a different distributor and could deliver March 8th. They worked it out prior to us signing the paperwork for everything to deliver March 8th. Just received a call from the distributor saying our full order will now deliver the week of March 15th. Don’t promise March 8th at the store when you know the distributor will just call us and reschedule. That’s bad customer service. It’s not easy to schedule being home for the delivery. Now I just have to deal with it because they have me in a bind. Thanks a lot! 😡

DEVIN WALKER provided AMAZING Customer Service!!! A few weeks ago, my husband & I purchased some items for my MIL's new Assisted Living Apt. While getting adjusting to her new things, we realized her mattress/bed foundation were just too high. I went back to Ashley yesterday & Devin was the first to greet me. On February 19, 2024 I visited 8708 Castle Creek location. A sales associate greeted me. (Ty) However, upon my time browsing the gentlemen proceeded to ask where I work. In which was a very inappropriate question. I begin to feel stereotyped and singled out. Knowing my occupation had nothing to do with me visiting the store. Early on… I told the sales associate I had previously shopped with Ashley and was just browsing. I proceeded to try and continue shopping and then the associate said since it has been a while since my last purchase could he have my name to make sure everything was ok in the system…. At that point I was appalled. As a consumer the line of questioning was very much inappropriate, and Ashley needs to provide etiquette and diversity training.
Was greeted warmly by store manager upon entering store. My sales person Marco was well informed and answered each and every question I had. Buying was easy and not high pressured .

Let me preface this by saying I have spent in excess of $20,000 at Ashley Furniture over the years. It has nearly always been a pleasant experience. However, this store has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I wouldn't allow the mangers (Devin/Toby) to manage my lemonade stand. They are deceitful and incompetent. Austin and Marco both lied to my face about being able to return a set of queen sheets I was on the fence about purchasing. I told them both repeatedly I would buy them now, but there was a possibility I could end up returning them. At no point did Austin or Marco speak up to tell me they have a no return policy. They had ample opportunities to do so. They are losing a customer over a $200 set of sheets that has spent 100x that amount over the years. It's quite embarrassing to be honest. I've repeatedly asked to speak with the Regional Sales Director, but no one will provide his information. I don't blame them. I wouldn't want my boss to find out about this either. I will happily take my business elsewhere.

My family & I have spent over $10,000 in the past 10 years at Ashley Furniture. We went into the store for a fold out sectional at a reasonable price for our basement. It will be primarily in a play room so we wanted it to be sturdy yet not expensive. Gentleman (Jason) was very rude and acted like we were not worth his time. We wanted to purchase with financing due to the incentive and he did not call us back as promised and never once apologized for his rudeness or lack of help. Buy Ashley online. Avoid Castleton at all cost!

Don't buy extended warranty! Absolutely worthless. I called on Jan 17th and was told someone would contact me in 7-14 days to schedule service. On Feb 1st I called because I hadn't heard from anyone. Was then told service was scheduled for March 8th. That is ridiculous!!

The general sales manager in the store today did not want to help us and do his job. He claimed the store was too busy. They just opened 5 minutes after we got there and there were 5 employees standing around doing NOTHING. Definitely never going to any Ashley Furniture Store in the future.

The Ashley Furniture store in Indianapolis near Castleton Mall has the worst service ever. Been trying forever to get a piece of furniture purchased in October and it is now January. No one will call you back even after at least 15 attempts…not even from the GM. Also, don’t ever get the protection plan…a major scam.

If you paid for a item & it was delivered broken; malfunctioning; or even damages to your home GET A ATTORNEY & reach out to others with a similar problem. I have experienced better customer service from a children’s lemonade stand. I ordered two night stands in early November and they were delivered in a week or so. One of the drawers was jammed shut at delivery and the driver removed the drawer and pulled out a piece of wood stating, “ohh this piece is part of the kit to make the nightstand taller.” That was a bold faced lie that he told me just to make me think everything was ok. Right after he left, I realized I didn’t have this piece of wood for my other night stand which made me investigate further. Come to find out, the nightstand was beat to all hell on the inside. I used the robo/automated chat system to communicate this information and that was another nightmare just trying to explain to them what was wrong. They refused to call me or provide a phone number I could call for over two weeks. After I finally got a phone number, it went to another robot who said that I would get a call back in a few business days. I waited 1 weeks and STILL nobody called me. Eventually I get the repair parts and get a date scheduled with the repair technician. Don’t worry, they outsource this to a different company so scheduling it was quick. HOWEVER, on the day the tech was supposed to come, he called saying he was having Truck problems and wasn’t going to be able to make it. He also said, “that thing looks pretty beat up in the pictures and if I were to come, I would just recommend they send you a new one”.. Long story short, it’s been almost 2 months now since I purchased and I STILL have a broken nightstand. This company has done NOTHING proactive about this and EVERYTHING is because I have been persistent. Total nightmare! This company has lost thousands of dollars from me as I just bought a new home and was planning on using Ashley to fill it up…. The nightstands were a test and Ashley didn’t even put their name on the damn thing.

Never buy from this store. They delivered wrong and cheap item to me, and when I contacted them, they refused to exchange it. In particular, Jennifer’s service was subpar. I also found Ashley’s customer service lacking and very poor, especially for in-store orders. Extremely disappointed overall.
NEVER AGAIN! We purchased 2 couches December 2022. This post is made December 2023. We have had issues with the electrical pieces for about 9-10 months and recalls on the electrical. Per our contract, we took our issues with the warranty team. They sent people out to resolve the same issue 5-6 times. Each time was a different repair person with a different explanation. They submitted tickets and ordered parts. We decided to request a refund (not allowed) or exchange due to the same problem causing our couches to be dysfunctional. We were told multiple times that a supervisor would reach out (they never did). Customer service will not connect us with any manager / supervisor either at the store or corporate. My wife was told by the representative that she lied about the damage reported on the ticket (completely fabricated since the technicians are the only people with access to the software). Now we are told that we are out of the warranty period and all outstanding tickets were closed. This was supposed to be a fantastic purchase to bless our family. Instead, it is a nightmare. BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased a chest of drawers and a nightstand and it was delivered on November 28. The dresser has a scratch and peeling paint on the left side above the leg of the dresser. I called immediately and told the salesman about the damage. He had me send him pictures. It is now December 19. I have spend a number of hours texting, phoning, etc to try to either have them replace the dresser or repair it. The salesman has been very kind. The repair people not so much. First could not get them to answer. Then they send texts and I have sent them the same pictures twice. I was told I would hear from them in 72 hours. I did not. I then tried texting again and calling. No one would return my text or phone call. I then was finally able to speak to someone on December 13. I was asked to send pictures for the fourth time! I was told I would get a call within 48 hours to schedule a repair. I did finally get a call but was told they had no scheduled repairs in my area and it would likely be a few weeks/month(s) before I received a call about the repair. I realize that a scratch and peeling paint/stain does not make the chest of drawers unusable. I paid for a NEW dresser not a damaged one and I am very dissatisfied about the customer service that I have NOT RECEIVED. I would like this resolved I did not expect to have Ashley not stand behind their products. I am looking at what should be a new dresser and am not happy looking at the damage every morning and evening and not knowing when it will be resolved.

December 14, 2023, my wife and I went into Ashley Furniture at Castle Creek Pkwy to look for a dresser. When entering the store, we were met was a pleasant hello. A salesman I later learned was (Jim Lincoln Jr.) approached and asked if he could help us in finding what we were looking for. He then pointed us to the locations in the store where dressers were located. He allowed us to look, check several products without any pressure. After checking several dressers, we had some questions. Jim was very informative helping us to make a decision without any pressure. I will Never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again. I bought what they call a Workhorse recliner. I've had it about a month and it's falling apart. Ashley Furniture absolutely refused to to work with me on delivery and they would not let me pick utbup from the store. O actually had to leave work to accept the delivery of a junk recliner. There are far too many retailers who sell furniture to ever deal with Ashley Furniture again

I went here looking for a dresser to go with my bedroom set I already have. Let me tell you the service I received from the time I stepped foot in the store was great. They had ordered what I wanted and also I ended up buying a mattress due to me needing one and they had some great deals. I love how all my items came with warranties. I had worked with the sales person named Ty and his was wonderful. He knew his information and didn't just try to tell me into anything. I would definitely go back to this store again to make a purchase. I love how they deliver and I am still loving my items even though I bought it back in September and it's December.

Purchased a new sofa a little over a year ago from Jennifer Halling at Ashley Castleton. When it was time for a new TempurPedic bed there was no where else I would go. Jennifer is professional, knowledgeable and respectful. Jennifer is the definition of excellent customer service. I always find just what I need at Ashley.
Purchased a side chair from the Castleton store We had an internet order ready to go and wanted to see the chair before ordering Our sales associate stated that the chair was not on the floor and showed us one similar. We liked the chair and the salesperson said the one in the store was a nicer chair. He could sell it to use for the internet price We agreed that we liked the showroom chair better. He marked it down and we paid for it. The salesperson said it would be delivered 11/18. It was not delivered we were told it wasn't even sent from the factory yet. Called the next week. Still not ready for delivery. Hopefully will be delivered 11/30 no later than 12/1. 11/30 got call. Chair should be in Indpls 12/1. Will be delivered 12/7. Asked why additional delay. Said others had requested delivery onSaturday and all the appointments were fullQuestion why they didn't honor 12/1 appointment? Doesn't know no additional delivery until 12/7. We will see I

The leather couch was damaged, and upon request for replace with another one they ask me that they will repair it which will take 10-15 days. Very upset and would not recommend anyone else to buy.

Ashley Furnitures automated system scheduled me to pick up my furniture on a day that the warehouse was closed. I drive 45 minutes, borrowed a trailer and had people help me only to get there and be told by the manager that he was the only one working and I would have to come back some other time. WHY DID THEY SCHEDULE ME ON A DAY THAT THEY WERE CLOSED?!?!? When I called their customer service line I was told there was nothing they could do.
If you need a new mattress go see Jennifer at the Castleton Ashley Store. She flat out knows her mattresses and will tirelessly show you all the options with no pressure to buy. Just the very BEST in customer service at any furniture or mattress store I visited, and I visited a lot. I ended up with a price that was actually below my budget and am thrilled with my purchase. She specializes in helping people with health issues get the perfect sleep experience; as an older adult with aches and pains this was super important to me. Great job Jennifer!

I always buy my furniture here. Have spent quite a bit of money. This last item was a dresser and has been a nightmare. First it said it was at the warehouse, drove 55 minutes one way and it wasn’t there. They did make that right by delivering it to the home. Then I get the dresser and a drawer has a hole in it top and bottom and has been puttied along with the fingerprints to prove it. Called for a new drawer replacement and apparently a repair person has to come out first even though I sent a pic. So waiting for that to get it taken care of. Needless to say I didn’t spend alllll this money for someone to repair the drawer they should just be replacing it and skipping that whole step. Rather discouraged right now with this place…. Follow up two months later and still waiting for one of the drawers to be fixed as the track is broken.

I must say this was the BEST experience that my family and I have ever had with anyone and any place that we’ve had ever been! Luke was IMPECCABLE 👌🏽!!! Very welcoming and seriously down to earth! He let us have the space to venture off and get lost into store. He was there when we had questions and he super upfront and honest with us. He worked with us on multiple and very reasonable options to leave with our now NEW couch and loveseat (we couldn’t take sitting in our fold out chairs 🪑 any longer)! My husband and I went to the Ashley location in Castleton on September 30, 2023. I had seen some furniture on their website that I liked. Unfortunately, they did not have the furniture on the showroom floor, but we're very helpful in finding something there that was similar in height and depth to what we were wanting. The associates at the store were very helpful. We ended up buying 2 couches and 2 recliners online with the help of the associate in store. There was a large delivery fee already, so we decided not to pay extra for the "white glove" delivery. The earliest they could deliver it was 11 days after we purchased it, which was fine. Day of delivery, we received the 2 recliners and 1 couch. We were never told beforehand, that the second couch would not be delivered that day. We did not find out about that until the delivery person told us that it wasn't at the warehouse, so it was probably on backorder. After the delivery men left, we set to putting everything together. The first recliner went together without a problem. The second one, however did not fit together correctly. I immediately tried contacting customer service for help. It took several tries and several different numbers before I was able to speak to a human. The customer service rep told me that even though the chair came broken and we had it for less than an hour at that point, I would have to wait until a repair technician called, then came out to assess the damage. When asked about our other sofa, he was as unaware that it had not been delivered as we were. I was told that I would have to wait for customer care to contact us about the other sofa and that a repair tech would call within the next 5 business days. We have 7 people in our home. We had taken all of our furniture out, because we expected to have it all replaced. Instead, we were left with one couch and one recliner with no date as to when we would get the rest. A few days go by and we are told that our other sofa will be delivered 10 days after our first delivery. 5 days go by and we have not heard from the technician department. We contact customer service via text message and are told that they have tried to reach out to us several times, but we're unable to reach anyone. I was also told I had to send more pictures of the damage even though I had already done so through email the first day. Someone is always home at our house, the number they had to contact us was our home number and we never got a call or message left. I was then told that someone would contact us by the end of the week. I gave 2 more numbers to the customer service person that the repair department could text and/or call. Today the other couch was delivered and it is the end of the week. This couch came with feet, the first one did not, even though they are exactly the same couch. Also, we still have not heard from the repair department despite giving them 3 numbers they could contact and being told they would do so by today. I am angry about,annoyed, and disappointed in the service we have received since leaving the store. The only reason they got a one star is because of the in-store service. I have bought several pieces of furniture in my life and have never had this much trouble. Not only will we never go back to Ashley, but I regret going there in the first place.

Edit...got the wrong parts. Now Ashley is giving me the runaround on a $150 part. I am not asking for anything free. I am paying for the parts. Ashley is making it difficult to return it and purchase the right parts. This makes no sense. I will update based on whether they make a reasonable resolution, or not. The person who was so helpful with sales at the Castleton store will not respond to my communication. Hmmm. I´m not angry. Just need basic help in getting a really nice bed back into order after parts were lost by movers. Come on, Ashley. Customer service is a part of the whole process. It isn´t about just grabbing cash on the initial sale. I paid for the part and will pay for the new one. I just want to return the one that is not needed.

Had a decent experience in the store and that's where it ended. I was delivered a broken dining room chair. I will never believe the crew that delivered and assembled this chair didn't notice that a leg was broken almost in half. I called customer service assuming the chair would just be replaced. Nope. They send a part and tell you they will schedule a technician. It took the part a month and a half to get here. I have had it for two weeks. I have texted the number that was texting me about the long overdue delivery of the part with no response. I called customer service and got cut off after about an hour. I called the store and no one has called back. I did get a call from a Marlena in customer service last Saturday and the number she left to call back is not a working number. Done. I will be calling the store today to see about returning the entire dining set. lol. I'm sure that will go well.
The in store experience was average. Nothing above what I would expect. We put furniture on layaway because that was the only way to delay delivery date. When trying to make monthly payments was told I had to go in store each time and couldn't be made over the phone, which was very time consuming. When it came time for delivery, I was given a delivery window of time of 3:15-6:15. Around 11am, I received message stating there was a driver who b didn't show up for work and my delivery would be closer to the end of my delivery window. 6:15 came and went and when I called at 7pm, I first was told I wasn't out of the delivery window time and then told they would call when on their way. When I asked for more specific time, the agent hung up on me. I called back and did speak to sometime very helpful, explained the situation and that I was not living at the house the furniture was being delivered and would need a 30 minute call ahead. I finally received a message at around 9:40pm that my driver was 30 minutes away and then the driver called a few minutes later stating he was only a few minutes away. I advised he would have to wait and when I got to delivery address (30 minutes later) he wasn't even there. Finally by 10:45 our furniture was delivered and set up.

Had a few questions and sales clerk walked away while we were talking to him! This was after we spent a great deal of time trying to find one that wasn't busy! We found another sales clerk and he was much more helpful but after the first guy we just didn't like the level of customer care and left and went to another furniture store and purchased a couch of much better quality. Beware of a company that can't spend time with you before the sale because after you pay you might get even worse customer care.

Let me start by saying my last experience with Ashley's in '21 was abysmal. So bad my wife had to convince me to just go through the store. Our trip on 9/2 completely made up for it. Carlos was excellent. He was attentive enough to help us out with questions, but not overbearing or looming over us. We ended up liking a sectional but weren't prepared with measurement and had to run home to check. When we returned even though he was helping another customer he was still able to assist us quickly. We also talked with Luke. He was energetic and interactive. Whatever you're doing at this store, keep it up!

The manager, Tony lost a huge sale today. I was in yesterday discussing with our sweet salesperson Gina what we wanted. We picked out a living room set AND a bedroom dresser and side tables. Our plan was to finance it for 60 months at zero interest but Gina told us if we do it for 36 months typically the manager offers a small discount. Yesterday, Tony told Gina in front of me, my mother, and my daughter he was willing to offer 25%. That number seemed to surprise Gina as her eyes got big. But she went on crunching numbers and told us what our monthly payments would be if we went ahead with 25% off and 36 months of payments. I came in today with my husband to make our purchase. Gina remembered me and what we agreed to yesterday. One of the other employees happened to be speaking to the sales manager on the phone and mentioned the 25% discount. Tony (the “professional” manager”) asked his employee to hand me his phone where he proceeded to call me a liar. Told me he’d never offer that. (His employee, my mother and I all agreed that he most definitely did!) He was insanely rude and unprofessional with me. Needless to say we did not make a purchase today.

UPDATE:(original review below) While our experience with purchasing our furniture went well, shipping/delivery has not. We purchased our furniture on Aug 24. They offered a delivery date of Aug 29. We were not available that day, so we scheduled it for Friday Sept 1. We prepared for the delivery, moved all of our old furniture (including our bed!) so we could be ready. By 11:30 am, I started to wonder why they hadn’t contacted us, so I called the store to follow up. It turns out we weren’t scheduled for Sept 1 delivery. They asked us if we had received any texts or emails, so I looked and NO…nothing. So then they proceed to say that it’s scheduled for Sept 6 in their system. After letting them know my disappointment with the entire situation, they said they would talk to the manager and get back with me. I asked them to confirm Sept 6 delivery date (this is all happening on Friday) and got NO RESPONSE. Fast forward to SUNDAY (10 days after purchase/2 days after trying to figure it out) I get an automated text message from Ashley to “schedule my delivery”. So I call and the soonest delivery date available is Sept 7. We are currently sleeping on our old mattress on the floor. We come to find out - by reading the fine print on the receipt (after searching it for the confirmed delivery date) - that they don’t schedule the delivery IN STORE. You have to wait until they text you (like the one I received today) and then schedule it. And then they will text you again 24-48 hrs before delivery to confirm a time frame. You must confirm this time to avoid delivery delays. I really wish this would have been clearly explained to us. The fact that I am getting the “schedule your delivery” text 2 days after the day the furniture was supposed to be delivered (10 days after purchase) indicates that we were never put in the system in the first place. When I asked them to confirm Sept 6 delivery date, I got no response (at this point, I’m assuming we are in the system?) Then 2 days later I get an automated call to “schedule delivery” which I scheduled for Sept 7 (Sept 6 wasn’t an option) Needless to say, I am frustrated by the lack of communication and follow up. I hope this review lets future customers know the delivery protocol for Ashley so they don’t get stuck in the same situation as us. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We went to Ashley Furniture in Castleton to get an Entertainment Center and new mattress. *Goddess* Gina greeted us right away and was very patient as we made our decisions. They have a wonderful mattress selection! Sealy/Posturepedic, Temperpedic, and Sterns and Fostrr. Gina demonstrated all the thrills of the adjustable bedframe and let us take our time testing each mattress. She and her colleague were very knowledgeable about the beds, unique qualities, etc. We finally settled on a mattress. You have to purchase the mattress cover/protector, but it comes with a 10 year warranty. If anything gets through the protector…you get a new mattresss and protector for FREE. Don’t forget to get a couple of new pillows while you are there! As for the entertainment center, it was listed at a high price in store but they honored the (official furniture store) website price, which in this case was less expensive/on sale. They are delivering and assembling the entertainment center (I am SO DONE with the online furniture assemble-yourself stores!) WIN WIN! Gina fills in on the Northside but she typically works at the Greenwood store. If you want a good selection with furniture for every budget, I highly recommend visiting Gina at Ashley Furniture!

When you visit the Ashley Furniture store in Castleton Mall, make sure you ask to speak to Jim Lincoln. He is the ideal salesmen. I am not a fan of being "sold" something that I didn't come in for. Jim was the type of gentlemen who would inform you about items but not try to "sell you them." He honestly just wants you to find what you are looking for. He will give you all the information he has, in his years of experience, to guide you to the right decision. He took what could have been a stressful experience and made it fun.
Jenn was very helpful with helping us find the perfect furniture we need and offered some helpful advice about furniture hunting.
Gina and Luke did a wonderful job in making sure I got the couch that I’ve been wanting forever. She even stayed after her shift to make sure we got the paperwork done in getting it financed. I’m so happy with the service.

I was in yesterday with very little hope of getting approved/be able to finance. The new manager at this location and one of the employees Carlos were amazing! I was so impressed. It was very quick, they didn’t give up when I didn’t get approved the first couple times for a loan and finally got me approved and was very determined to help me get furniture I wanted! I was trying to call and find out if they had a Chester drawers and dresser in stock I was left on hold for over 40 minutes and transferred twice and then the lady that was I was transferred to was extremely rude would not give me her name and hung up on me I cannot believe that this is the kind of service that it is come to now that we have to accept in 2023 and I realized when you call the number for the store you're not getting the store you're getting some customer service somewhere else most likely not even in this state what is the world come to

Was all good until a broken chair was delivered. Took a month and a half to get the part now I can’t get anyone to return my calls to get something done with the part. I’ve called the store and two different customer service numbers. Someone finally called and left a voicemail with a disconnected call back number.

My wife and I have been Ashley’s customers for decades and we had a very poor experience, we bought a couch, had to go back to the physical location 4 times to ensure they got right color and the communication misses are very poor there. Nobody knows what anyone is doing and the phone line there has been non working for years, very disappointed in this current market! We will be taking our business elsewhere!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Ashley furniture in Castleton. I thought I was making a purchase with a reputable furniture company. I purchased a love seat in 5/19/23 that was delivered on 5/24/23. The sofa was delivered damaged in multiple places. Delivery team took pictures and told me it would be replaced in 3 days and the damaged furniture would be picked up. This was not the case. After calling customer service to inform them of the damage, I sent pictures. I was informed that a technician will need to be scheduled to come out to try to repair the damage ( I did not pay over $1000 for refurbished furniture). The damage is cosmetic and operational. Still waiting for sofa to be replaced. I feel that I have received a lemon, I feel that I have been shamed out of over $1000( including tax and shipping). Customer Support is sub par. Will never shop with Ashley again!!

Let’s make this short and sweet. Waited a year for our furniture, and it is junk. Technician came out and told us, your furniture is junk and poorly made. Ashley has done nothing to make it right. Avoid Ashley Furniture like the plague unless you want the same experience.

Very friendly staff. Love the products but you need to revamp your computer system. We were there for three hours.. two of those hours was waiting for your computer system to work. We bought a beautiful bedroom set. I saw something but didn’t want to spend more hours waiting for the computer to complete the transaction, so I put it on hold and came back the next day. It was ready for me, but had to wait another hour because of the computer system. The sales people are great and kind and were very sorry it was taking so long. I love Ashley Furniture, I just want you to figure out your system.

I need to speak with the "Franchise Owner" On 04/23/23 I bought the Colleyville furniture set in store. Pieced out I bought the right arm power chaise, armless chair, and left arm power recliner. This is the same a buying the 3 piece set linked below. Today I go online to see that not only is this $1000 less than what I payed but the whole 6 piece set is only $200 more than what I paid for the 3 piece set. I called the store to see if I could get a price match, they stated I couldn't due to the item already being delivered. This is ridiculous, I now am stuck paying $1000 more because the store policy doesn't match the online policy. The left arm chaise was $900 thats almost as much as the whole 3 piece set on sale. DON'T give this "franchise" your money. If you like something in store just buy it online. Save your money, the store hikes up prices. Edit: Spoke with Osi at what I believe is corporate customer service. Osi was rude and unprofessional. When I asked to speak with a manager he refused and stated he will give me the same answer as them. Had smart remarks back like "does the website say it is valid after delivery, no it doesn't " called me rude. Basically told me that after delivery there is no price guarantee. Horrible customer service. No solutions or compromises being offered. Just shut down immediately. My mom went into the store the day I was moving and called me about a couch that was new in the store. Within 30 minutes I was able to purchase the couch over the phone with help from Devin. We took our uhaul we were renting for the day and got over there within 2 hours to pick it up. It was amazing and we can’t believe that we got a couch the day we moved in. Amazing experience!!
Would give a negative if I could. Avoid buying from this location or Ashley at all cost. Bought a bedroom suite and dining suite and have had nothing but problems from day 1. Wrong items delivered partially delivered bed so couldn't set up for a month. Now finish is coming off all pieces and I am still trying to get customer service to help me. This has been going on for over a year. Keep getting promised they will resolve and call back nobody does. All of the negative reviews on this site sound the same. We all can't be the issue.
We purchased product from one of the locations in Indianapolis. We have had nothing but problems and furniture quality is below par. We are still trying to get problems resolved over a year after purchase, and everyone seems to be annoyed they have to deal with it. Going into the store is zero help. After the sale they are done with you, and they will tell you anything to get the sale. Even if it is not true. Do yourself a favor shop elsewhere.
Devin was very helpful. He demonstrated the differences of the mattresses. He asked lots of questions and made suggestions to help us select one we both liked. BTW, mattress is comfortable. HOWEVER, we did not get offered a choice for a mattress foundation. He sold us a 10 inch foundation, $259 at the time making our bed almost 48 inches from the floor. We tried to get him and store manager to exchange for the 5 inch foundation $169 at the time. They would not help. Corporate has been no help, on hold for hours, hung up on when we asked for supervisor. Just says items delivered as ordered. We feel we're not offered less expensive item as a choice. Both of us are elderly and a fall from higher foundation could have serious consequences. No help from anyone, we did not want money back just a simple exchange and perhaps an admission of the error. No blame here, just unhappy customer who feels taken advantage of. Friends do not let friends buy Ashley products.

I visited this store on APR 29 2023. With all intentions of spending $$$$ on furniture in this establishment. I was in the store for over 1 hour and not any sales person took the time to acknowledge my existence. However, they did acknowledge other customers. I have repeatedly called the store only to be hung up on as well today. I guess this is an Ashley store policy to treat certain customers differently (had same issue with another store in Indianapolis area). My advice spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Thank you Ashley furniture company for showing your true stripes.

Worst experience in my life. I will NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN. The sales Rep was confused and the worst! They attempted to deliver my order twice and it was all wrong both times. Reached out to customer service no result went into the store manager helped by putting notes in the system upon how and what furniture to be delivered again wrong. Ashley’s near Castletown Square is the greatest! We purchased a recliner a year or two ago. It’s been great. We went back today hoping to get the same recliner for my husband. My husband (James Green) and I purchased a recliner on 01/21/2023 and the recliner has never been right. We called their corporate office like it informed us to do on the receipt we received. The corporate office has done nothing but give us the run around. They first told us that they would have a tech sent out to look at the chair. The tech ( Fast Furniture repair)came out a month later and told us he would have to order a part. We waited another month, got the part, tech came back out and informed us the part was damaged, he couldn't put it on the chair had to order a new part again, waited another month and got the new part and now they want to send out another repair company (AHM Furniture repair)tech, apparently the other tech figured he could not fix the chair. This whole time we were not informed that we could have exchange the chair at the store within a certain amount of time. The corporate office informed us almost 2 months later to try and exchange the chair at the store. They would not exchange it because to much time had passed and the part had already been ordered. We would have contacted the store right away if someone would have informed us of that fact to begin with. This is a joke, this is the worse experience we have ever had with a furniture store. We have a recliner that we can not even use. Ashley Furniture has the worse customer service. BEWARE

I do not recommend buying anything from here. They have zero concern for their customers. I paid over $300.00 for delivery of my 2 new couches. It took they 7 attempts 6 hr delivery windows to get it right. Wrong color for half the couches, and broken couches. When they finally got it right they tried to tell me i didn’t pay for delivery that was clearly on my receipt. Was the worst experience I have ever had.

I recently purchased living room furniture from Ashley Furniture in Whitehead, Indiana. Our salesman, Toby Anderson was amazing. He said when our furniture was delivered not to let the delivery team leave until we examined the furniture to make sure everything was fine. I explained that my son would not be moving into his apartment for 3 weeks and we wanted delivery on March 10th. We received a text stating delivery was happening on Feb. 28. I called and spoke to a very rude woman and explained we can't move into the apartment until 3/10. She said she would change the order. Received another text that the furniture would be delivered on 3/2 - called again and stressed delivery could not happen until 3/10. Got another text stating delivery would happen on 3/9. At this point I gave up and asked the apartment complex if it was possible to get in the apartment a day early which they graciously allowed us to do. The end table we ordered, which was quite expensive came in a box with no instructions on how to put it together and pieces missing. The delivery team refused to stay while I took the packaging off the sofa to examine it telling me they only deliver. I called customer several times and they refused to send the missing parts to the end table saying I needed a technician to come out and I needed to pay for him to come out. After several phone calls to many customer service representatives I never got the parts. I told them I would return the table to the store and wanted my money back - they refused. Needless to say I will NEVER buy another piece of furniture from Ashley Furniture.

Needed replacement cushions on couch due to dog chewing a few up. Went into the store in the end of December. Took an hour or so and was frustrating as they wanted the model number of each part of our couch something they didn't give us nor did they have. Finally we thought we had something. A week latter the cushions come in. They are the wrong ones. We call and they say we have another order that is coming in the next couple weeks. We call back a few weeks laters. And our told they still are coming . Mind you these calls were stressful as no one could help us and they kept transferring us. We call in February same thing. In the start of March we decide to go into the store and explain our issue. After again a few hours they say we can help you but you'll have to pay a $100. We agree trying to just end this nightmare. A week later the cushions come. They are the same ones they sent in the beginning of January and the wrong ones. $100 later and many hours lost and they could still not help us. Worst customer experience ever and we will never go back .

Horrible customer service! We ordered furniture and I specifically asked about the pieces being on back order since I was seeing a lot of furniture on the website indicated it was on backorder. The salesman reassured me the sleeper couches and ottomans we purchased we available at the local warehouse. We set the delivery date and were told to make sure to respond to their text regarding delivery time. I hadn't heard from anyone and I ended up calling. I was told my ottomans were not at the warehouse and they were not delivering on the agreed upon day. I asked for them to split the delivery and deliver the couches on the agreed upon day and the ottomans later. I was told they couldn't because their delivery schedule for that day is full. This pissed me off. NO ONE FROM ASHLY CALLED US TO INFORM US OF THE DELAY! We did our part and made arrangements to be available on that day and have our old furniture removed so they could deliver and set up. I called the local store and the cooperate office, which I was rerouted to a local office. No one would take responsibility for the error nor deliver what they had on the agreed upon day. I leave the state in a few days and they want to delivery while we are gone. Now I have no couch to use before we leave on vacation AND when we return, we have guests coming to visit which is why we purchased sleeper sofa so no I have no place for any one to sit or sleep. The local store manager and staff kept trying to call the warehouse to talk to a live person but no one would pick up the phone, apparently they only answer emails. I told customer service I want the warehouse supervisor to call me tonight or I'll be calling again tomorrow. Why it so hard for Ashley to acknowledge the mistake and work on a fair compromise, a split delivery, instead of an all or nothing fix. I've already made a complaint to the BBB and my next steps are word of mouth complaining. Ashley's mission of "making homes great" is a joke when I can't even get the furniture we purchased. ITS NOT GREAT SITTING ON NOTHING! And their core vales of collaboration is also a joke. You can't have collaboration with the decentralized business practice and the local store can't talk to a live person with an important business department, the warehouse. What a joke of a company! Don't buy from them!

One of the best furniture purchases we've ever made. We were not pressured by the sales consultant to buy - quite the opposite. One sales consultant in particular, Devin was absolutely great! Seriously, he is stand-up and honest. We were persuaded on another living room set, from another company, and Devin asked all the right questions, was very patient, knowledgeable, and gave us EXACTLY what we needed. Tough we have not received our furniture yet (ordered furniture as of the date of review) this review is solely on our shopping experience and service at Ashley's Furniture. PHENOMENAL! My girlfriend and I walked in in search of a new bed frame and possible nightstands. We walked around the entire store and passed multiple employees. We were not approached or even acknowledged in the time we were there. We were excited to shop as multiple friends have bought stuff here in the past. Disappointed and let down.

I had the worst experience in my life with a salesperson. The saleswoman's name is Donna. She was very helpful in assisting us to purchase a bedroom suit until I found the same furniture on Amazon at a much cheaper price. She went and spoke to the manager and said that they were willing to price match the items I found on Amazon. As far as the other items not on Amazon, they were going to take away my 20% discount since they price matched the other items. Mind you, everything was on sale for 20% off. Why should I be penalized and lose the 20% off on the items that were not already discounted? Most companies do price match and should price match. I was not asking for a discount on the price matched items, only the regular priced items. Donna was not concerned about me as a customer but only concerned about her and her commission. She told me that she would not be able to pay her bills this month and that she works solely on 100% commission. She said that she did not feel comfortable doing this deal because she was not making anything on the deal. She had the nerve to ask me if I work for free?! How unprofessional is that?! She advised me to go to Amazon and purchase the products. So, in turn, my husband and I walked out of the store without purchasing anything. I guess she felt her commission was more important than selling something pricematched for the company! So....she wanted me to take my bill money to pay hers? No thanks!! You should always do the right thing. Why am I going to pay more for something that I should not have to? It was clearly cheaper online and the sale was a storewide sell on regular items!

I spent $7000 on December 26th on multiple items at this location and still have nothing to show for it almost two months later. The manager wasn’t even interested in hearing my concern and his first comment was suggesting to me a refund. Speaking with multiple employees in multiple departments, everyone has a different reason as to why my furniture hasn’t been delivered. I asked for my delivery fee to be refunded and they wouldn’t accommodate me. Just extremely disappointed and disgusted with their services in general.
Purchased a couch and paid $300 in delivery. Together the cost was close to 3k. David West set a delivery date of February 11 to give me time to dispose of my old sectional and have my furniture for Super Bowl. I then get a text stating delivery is for feb 10. So I call to see what time. They then inform me that they switched it to February 15. Without even notifying me. So I am no without furniture. I call them and they tell me it’s my fault for getting rid of my furniture and David West had no right to schedule a date, but he did. Then chose to hang up on me. I have called corporate who is trying to work with me. I’ve asked to at least refund me my delivery cost since they cannot deliver what they promised which corporate can see in the system set for February 11. The local store refuses to meet me in the middle so I am without furniture. Telling everyone to change their plans and now have to figure out where to buy furniture from. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. They are the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered and will be reporting them to the BBB. After reaching out to the comment below no issue has been resolved. Though they acknowledge the fact their employee did schedule at date they will not work to fix the error. I speant a lot of money for a food at a Super Bowl party that I cannot have with no furniture. This was discussed with there employee. Since they couldn’t provide delivery on the date promised I asked for delivery cost to be refunded. Their only suggestion was for me to pick it up myself. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. They do not care about their customers and will put the blame on you

Worst furniture shopping experience I have ever encountered! Upon completion of purchase I was given a delivery date. Waited for delivery window text or call, never came! Called store and was told that I would have to wait 2 more weeks for delivery because item was out of stock! According to sales person my item was in stock when I purchased!!!! I rearranged my schedule to be home to receive delivery on date given! Good Customer service is really important to me!! If item was out of stock I should have been notified in advance! Will never shop at Ashley again….

Had an awful experience here this weekend. Spent over 2 hours in the store and left with nothing. The person that greeted us was sure to tell us about all of the promotions, up to 25% and 0% financing for 5 years- perfect right?! We found a couch and dining room table, the price was right. The person helping us order was obviously new and had to keep calling for manager intervention to help explain things. It took forever to get everything set up and we got approved for financing. He had us fill out a form which included social security number and personal information, then asked us to walk over to pay the deposit. Fine. But he left the credit application on a random table in their show room with all of our info on it- that’s not okay. Then after we paid the deposit, turns out they put it for 12 month financing - we asked why and said we were told it would be 5 years interest free by the person that greeted us. He called the manager and the manager called the person that greeted us and this was the last string. She said “ I told you up to 25% off or 5 year interest free” in which I responded no you said and. Her response was very direct and said “no I always say or” in a nasty tone. We said the deal is over and had to remind them to refund us the deposit. Why wouldn’t the person setting us up confirm the financing before running everything? Why does our credit score have to be impacted because a lack of customer service? Needless to say, never again.

I want to give them zero star review but it doesn't exist, they said delivery date in two weeks, then in another week, then two more weeks, never thought it will take this long. When finally they gave me a pick up date 01/21, I called uhaul to make a reservation for me to pick it up the furniture at the warehouse and I showed up, their system showed not available and gave me another date. I had spoken to three different reps and they all said, ready for pick up. Ashley Furniture for me a joke! I canceled my order asked for a refund for uhaul rental (is not guaranteed) since I paid cash now I have to wait more 7 to 10 business days to get a check back. Not a way to run businesses!!!

Aaron greeted us right when we walked in. The first thing he said is he won’t “stalk” us around the store. Instead, he gave me a brochure-like thing “to keep the salespeople away” so we could look around in peace. “I’ll check on you in a few minutes,” he said, and that’s what he did. This removed the constant pitching toward items we didn’t want. He told us where he’d be if we had any questions and was essentially nearby at all times. This was a very nice touch. I of course bought a nice chair I found. However, it was Aaron’s unobtrusive availability and style that sold me on this one Ashley location in Castleton. Nicely done.
Worst experience ever, do not go here. So, we ordered all the furniture for our new home from Ashley, worth over $20,000. Now, the rude and unprofessional delivery drivers delivered only less than half of our order, put the furniture upside down and all over the place, and most of the furniture itself was quite damaged.They filled our house with damages such as marks all over the place, a broken pillar, and others. Then, when we tried to talk to them about it, they wouldn’t listen to us, wouldn’t call us, and completely told us off saying they wouldn’t do anything about it. Now, after so much arguing and stress, they said they decided to give us the rest of OUR furniture that WE paid for, but they would not repair the unacceptable damages done to our home, nor would they replace our damaged furniture. So I guess this is what you get for paying well over $20,000. I’m thinking of taking legal action against them. Though, I would recommend everyone to purchase from other stores, such as Wayfair, who have exceptional customer service and return policies. Basically just forget about this terrible excuse of a furniture store.
Very disorganized. We were told we could have our bed furniture delivered March 3 because we aren’t moved in yet, but they apparently forgot and want to do it this week… listen to your customers or write it down, maybe? They were on FaceTime with an old manager while helping us with something but just chatting like everyday talk. Just not very professional. Also, they forgot to have us sign two places for our signature and wanted us to drive back to the store while we were just in there for 2 hours… come on do better.

The 2 star review is for their delivery manager and not the store or the guys that actually delivered the furniture. We purchased a new bedroom set with a mattress. The furniture was delivered on the original planned date, however the mattress was not on the truck even though it was on the manifest. I called to find out the status of the mattress and the man that answered the phone told me to call back in 24 hrs and hung up on me. My wife then called hoping to get more information. He stated he just spoke to her even though he hadn't and gave the same response, call back in 24 hrs and hung up on her. Since then the delivery for the mattress has been rescheduled 5 times and it is not due to a supply chain issue. Every time the mattress shows in stock at the distribution center. We have reached out to Ashley in every way we can find online and there has yet to be a resolution. At this point I'm starting to wonder is this retaliation by the delivery manager (whatever his title is and no he never gave us his name) or just general incompetence. Moral of the story, don't have any hope or expectation of your order being delivered in full or on time even if it's in stock, it's been over 2 months and still waiting.

First time visit to this location and was treated with a worm welcome that we look around and decided to purchase a sofa that we liked. The price was just right for what we were looking for. I purchased furniture to be delivered to my new home after closing. Instead, Ashley shipped them to my house I didn't even own yet. I cancelled the order and they picked the furniture up. I've called 18 times to get my refund and each time I am assured someone from their esclation department will call me back. Each time I call, I have to tell the entire story over again and often times, their customer service agents do not speak great English and struggle to understand. I would never buy from them again. I just disputed their charge with my credit card company as I'm so over this. They picked up their furniture 16 days ago and say they can't find it showing in their warehouse. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!

My hope is that after reading my story, and the gross negligence and terrible service provided to myself and my family, you will choose to shop somewhere other than Ashley Homestore, especially if in the Indianapolis area. My wife and I purchased a sectional for Ashley in the fall of 2020. We thought it was reasonably quality product at a reasonable price. I own a property management company, so we buy furniture for our short term rentals. It held up reasonably for about 18 months. On August 23, we were sitting on the couch and felt something in the back give way. The cushions immediately sank about 12 inches, and the seat became separated from the back. After placing a call to the store, we were told it was out of warranty (understandable) and he had to physically come into the store to get a repair person to come to our house. (How is this possible, that in 2022 I can’t order service over the phone or internet, and have to come to the store???) Upon arrival at the store, AHS Castleton (8708 Castle Creek Pkwy East, Indianapolis) we were assisted by a employee who informed us we could pay for parts and materials, and would get a call within a few days to schedule a repair appointment. We paid $208.65 for parts and labor at this time. (Sales order 021950216) After a week went by, we called the store to follow up. They said that something went wrong and they would resubmit for a call next week. The same thing happened next week. We were finally able to get an appointment on 11/23 - almost a month after visiting the store. Upon the technician’s arrival, he cut open the bottom of the sectional, and informed us that the staples that hold together the wood missed during manufacturing. Manufactures defect, but I am outside of warranty, so ok, just fix it. Instead of that, the service technician said it would take two hours to repair, and we only paid for one hour for $130, so we had to drive back to the store to pay for another hour of labor before he would fix it. (Again, I could not pay him, I could not call in a credit card, I could not do anything that would allow him to fix it at this appointment. I had to go back to the store) So on November 30, we went back into Ashley Homestore in Castleton, Indiana. We paid our $65 for an additional hour of labor (Sales order 0219731388) and were told the same 2-3 days to get a call for scheduling. After over a dozen phone calls and attempts for us to call someone to get this scheduled, which no one ever was able to discuss with us the scheduling of this appointment for over a week, We returned to the store on December 5th. We met Ron, a new manager at this location. Ron looked at our paperwork, and informed us that the last two orders were done incorrectly as sales orders, and we needed a service order. He placed service order 0219758002, with an estimated date of repair on the service order of 12/13/2022, and again assured us we would get a call within a few days to complete the repair. Ron gave us his direct line to call if we did not get a call within 3 days. 12 day went by without any communication from Ashley. Ron was called three times during that 12 days, failing to answer calls or return messages. On December 17 (Saturday) we returned to the store. This is our fourth trip into the store for a single repair. We again saw Ron. He had no explanation for the missed calls, or lack of response. He had no answers on why service did not call. I had to use a lot of restraint to stay calm at this meeting, but managed. I gave Ron and Ashley home store one more opportunity - Their store manager could call me on Sunday after their mandatory all store meeting, or I would take my frustrations public. I got a message on Sunday from Ron, his store manager had called off on Sunday, but would be in Monday. He assured me that Monday this would be addressed by the Store manager. Monday at 5:30 pm I had waited long enough. I called Ron - he answered this time. I told him no call from the store manager, but the store manager just happened to be standing there, so Ron handed the call over to Jeff. I calmly explained my entire story to Jeff, and his reaction is what prompted this lengthly response. Jeff said: This is the very first time I am hearing of this. Jeff said: So what do you want me to do? I replied “Keep your commitments and live up to the expectations you set. And I just want my couch repaired.” Jeff said: We have no control over service at the store, there is nothing I can do. So I am going to Google “furniture repair” and will likely have this done in a week. I was told I would get a call on Wednesday from Chad, the DM/RM, but based on my prior interactions with the staff at Ashley, I won’t be holding my breath.
The associate Mitch, was very knowledgeable, able to answer questions and information without any run runaround. The order was placed in an orderly manner.

I ordered a chair and when it was delivered, the delivery guys wouldn’t wait for me to check the furniture out before running out the door. Even when I asked. And the chair was broken and when I called, they said they don’t have a return policy, I should not have accepted the order. When I received my delivery receipt, the delivery driver signed for me. I never signed to accept my delivery. Now I have to wait over a month for a repair technician to attempt to fix my brand new chair that was delivered broken, that I never signed for accepting the delivery. I will pass this information along to anyone and everyone I know to never buy furniture from Ashley. Unless they can remove this chair and deliver a new one. Update: I have gone through the repair process. The issue was not corrected, 3 months later. After calling and still addressing the issue of a delivery driver forging my signature, I’m told it “will be taken care of” but I still have this broken chair in my house. If proof is needed, I have it. But Ashley Store still has yet to fix this situation. After multiple calls between them and the third party company. Also, the large under mount mechanism that was left in the middle of my living room for me to dispose of. This company has been completely unprofessional.

RUN! Where do I begin? My God. This has been the most agonizing experience I have ever had with furniture buying in my LIFE! I needed to come to my desktop computer to type this one because this was ridiculous.First of all, I'm only leaving one star for the salesperson who assisted me. She did her very best to help out and personally called and texted me to walk through this nightmare. We ordered a sectional in June/July of 2021 with the expectation that the it would be delivered when our home was still being built. I specifically asked them if it came in earlier, could it remain in the local warehouse. I was told that it could. Well guess who gets a text the day it came in saying that the couch would be delivered to my apartment? This girl. Big sigh. Here begins the saga with the delivery company. I called and spoke to the company about pushing out the delivery because we were still living in our apartment. They proceeded to tell me that I would have to continually call them to push the date out for delivery every two weeks. Seriously? I'm already peeved at this point. So, I proceed to do that. For at least two months, I'm calling and calling pushing the date out as I get the text message reminders that the couch is ready. Irritated. Well, moving day finally arrived. I call to schedule the delivery and cool, they can deliver about two days after move in. Now, my home is in a newer section of my neighborhood and our address was not on the gps. I fully expected to be called by the drivers when they were on their way if they got lost. The delivery time came and went. It's 8 pm at this point and I'm calling the dispatch number that I found from somewhere only to have to have someone call me back way late after they located the drivers. When they finally did, I was told that the drivers could not find my house and had already gone back to wherever they were going that evening. Mind you, NO ONE had called me to tell me they were lost. I received no follow up on that. I then was told that I could reschedule for about a week or two from this date which I was not happy with because they had been scheduling me every week for the past two months!Next delivery date - my parents were at my home. My husband and I were still moving some pieces from our apartment to the house. Guess who shows up at my home at 8 am with NO WARNING? Yep. They came to my door and my mother told them that I was 10 minutes away. They told my mother that they would not leave our couch if the owners were not home and then proceeded to hop in the truck and drive off as my mother is standing outside in the cold pleading for them not to take off. Absolutely insane! I could not believe I was hearing this. At this point, my husband and I were livid. The third scheduled delivery time once again came and went. We actually had gone to the store to cancel the order because we were done with them. I believe we went to the store twice as we couldn't get a manager on the phone, but I remember talking to a manager this last time and she told us that they had no control over the delivery company and that there had been numerous complaints about the crew that day we were waiting. Apparently, the crew was riding around with our furniture and others' as well and no one could locate them. What a freaking mess. Our sales agent that day was able to promise us that we would get a delivery. Well, I finally got a call that the truck was on the way later that evening. I had to stay on the phone with them and navigate them to my house. They did not speak English well and I actually had to hang up with them and dial them back to get them there because it was taking too long for me to see them in my driveway. So when I get the couch, my husband noticed that the color is off. One section was noticeably darker than the rest. Angry didn't describe it. To sum it up, we had them reorder that piece of the couch that came in two months later. Delivery all over again. Whew. I'll NEVER buy here again

Buyer beware! If I could give zero stars I would. We spent thousands of dollars on linking room furniture at this store. Unfortunately, two items arrived to our house damaged. Ashley has made it a living nightmare for us to try and get these items replaced. Ashley is not disputing that the items are damaged. However, they are making it nearly impossible to get a reasonable resolution: we call customer support and wait on hold for hours. We speak to person A who transfers us to person B, who promises us that person C will contact us in 7-10 days. We never hear from person C and the cycle starts again. Both corporate and store employees have provided no meaningful help. We are so regretful that we trusted out hard-earned money with Ashley. DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. Don’t buy from Ashley!!

Bought a table was delivered damaged. It has been 2 weeks. I still have a damaged table and Ashley "Customer Service" is giving me the run around. AVOID this store!!! It took over a month and multiple frustrating phone calls with reps giving me incorrect information but Ashley made it right. They replaced the damaged table.

Not very happy. You took three months to deliver a couch and a chair. The chair was nothing like what we thought it would be from what the sales person told us. I did not get a chance to try it out because the installers left too soon.
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture retailer. Ashley your white glove premium home delivery is an absolute joke. I made sure that I was home today during the delivery time that you’re company provided me. Based on your instructions, the delivery team was supposed to call me so that I could give them instructions on how to get to my apartment. Guess what didn’t happen?? By the time that I realized your delivery team was here, I went outside to greet them and to provide them instructions…. Would you know as soon as I got outside, they drove away??? I have spent no less than three hours of my day trying to figure out if I am going to get my furniture today. I have never had such a difficult time getting a hold of someone who can help me. Your “customer service” is great at playing the ping pong game. And don’t even get me started with your Castleton store in Indianapolis, In. They don’t pick up the phones but they sure were happy to take my money. I will never purchase furniture from you again.

I feel like the guy that helped me was trying to rip me off. I had to hassle him for the online price and he only offered me 12 months no interest, because of the online price he gave me. Next he tried to make me pay 10% percent down when I have a Ashley snchrony card with a 10k limit. I was tired of dealing with this guy, so i bought the bedroom set, he never said thanks and shook my hand, he just walked away. This was a horrible experience and I am never returning again. I have done several transactions at this store and by far this one was the worst.
I haven't received my order yet but Ashley was accommodating with the ordering process and finding what I wanted in stock.

This Castleton store has phenomenal people, except they can't control 14 months of delays. I love the Ashley designs and would otherwise buy from this store for the rest of my new home. I ordered furniture for several rooms in September 2021. I am always told "3 more weeks". The distribution center repeatedly ignores "ship what you have", so you get bumped down the list until the entire order is in stock, so be prepared to constantly follow up. One delivery had the bridge of my entertainment center missing in May 2022 (first delivery-finally). The bridge came in October 2022. One delivery brought a bed, but the driver used a power drill and cracked the side rail, so that was another wait. My desk was absolutely promised in August so I sold my desk when I moved. I worked from the floor until October. My most recent October delivery was 2 hours after the end of my delivery window. Customer service couldn't get a hold of the driver. Only half of my L shaped Raelyn desk was delivered in October 2022. Twice now, the other half has been rescheduled. We'll see if the other half, office chair, and bench actually come on 11/24/22. Raelyn is called Hayley on Wayfair Kelly Clarkson and it's available in 3 days. I accepted half a desk and a promise again of "3 weeks" only because I paid hundreds less for it in 2021. I've had zero problems getting 3 orders from Ashley online. They have a different supplier, so while it's the same name, the online store cannot help fulfill the in store orders. He ran numbers and discounts several times for me without a complaint. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture, If you are looknig for good quaility pieces, Ashley's is your best bet. I still own several pieces that were bought here years ago. They are still beautiful and classic pieces. Also, seek out sales rep. DAVID.
I waited since March my furniture finally arrived in November the last ones, my furniture arrived broken and I'm still waiting for the technician, they charged me an extra 2 thousand and nobody knows or answers I call customer services an hour a day ,I have only had headaches and discomfort with them.

Don’t buy any stuff from this store and take their delivery services. I got damaged product that I refused, but delivery folks told me that they had put replacement request in system and I would get call to schedule delivery. All these statements were false and they fooled me. I contacted Ashley next day and they told me that they would repair only. I don’t understand How could they deliver damaged product and ask for repair.

Let’s start with the ridiculously long wait time for delivery, the delivery staff is completely unqualified. Improper assembly. That’s not even the worst part! Their grimy, lying salesperson. I bought my stuff back in year 2021 and I paid upfront $7,944.88 dollars out of my pocket not finance. They promised me that I’ll get my stuff in about 6-8 weeks never happened Now, customer service is unwilling to assist, and even the store won’t take our calls. Finally got my delivery after 5-7 months and they send me everything in partial delivery literally everything defective.I sent them all the pictures and told them after that long I got my stuff and it’s all defective. I spent thousands of thousands dollars. Afterwards they sent a technician couple of times and he said it needs to be exchange. Today 11/10/2022 got a text around 5:23 pm stating your delivery is confirmed for Saturday. Just think about you spent almost 8K last year, but it takes more than a year to get your stuff and on top of all drama. I’m asking this question to you IS THIS WORTH IT. The genuine answer would be A BIG NO.“I’m sorry we have a no return policy, I understand you were misinformed abou wow! How can you call that customer support? How can this company stand behind their products? I can confidently say I’ll never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again. The issue could easily have been resolved with a refund period. I hate to complain, but I am not getting the right service from the Ashley Furniture Store/Company. My wife and I received the wrong item twice now. We have not received what we paid for, which includes delivery and assemblies. There's now a huge mess in my bedroom that I have to deal with because a service that I paid for was not provided. When the bed is not the correct item, and the mattress does not fit, why would Ashley Furniture service leave the mess for me to deal with? We, the customer did not make the mistake... Not worth the heartache: My husband and I ordered a bedroom furniture set on July 3 from salesman Aaron Traylor with expected delivery in early October. When the expected delivery date passed, we reached out to the helpline and the store several times, and we were passed around until we were eventually told that the furniture had been discontinued months earlier. Salesman Aaron claimed that it was out of his hands and proudly showed us on his tablet screen that 43 other local customers also had their money taken for this discontinued product without notification. He said that “corporate didn’t tell anyone” when the product delivery date was changed (that is, changed to never deliverable!). Faith in customer service quickly corrected him to say all staff were notified – just not customers. As this demonstrates, Aaron and his colleagues are focused on the annual sales trip to Cancun (which he proudly explained he earns year after year, with transactions like ours) rather than taking care of clients. We will be ordering future furniture from Wayfair; it’s just not worth the time, energy, and heartache of purchasing from Ashley!

Wow where to begin… aside from the ridiculously long wait time for delivery, the delivery staff is completely unqualified. Improper assembly, hitting walls when carrying in, etc. That’s not even the worst part! Their grimy, lying salesperson, Jim, is the worst part. Jim assured us the $3,000+ bed set we were purchasing would fit with our existing adjustable base bed frame. “Just take a couple of legs off, and it’ll fit around it!”, he said. I was concerned about this possibility, that’s why I asked. To be blatantly lied to is inexcusable. The bed set DOES NOT fit with our adjustable base. Now, customer service is unwilling to assist, and even the store won’t take our calls. “I’m sorry we have a no return policy, I understand you were misinformed about the bed…” WOW! How can you call that customer support? How can this company stand behind their products? I can confidently say I’ll never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again. The issue could easily have been resolved with a refund or even an exchange, but nobody is willing to help. Instead, they ask, “was your adjustable base purchased from Ashley?”. No, that’s why I asked your despicable salesman if it would work. I hope others can avoid the deception of their salespeople and unqualified 3rd party delivery as well.

We were very dissatisfied with our service. We bought a couch back in May for our new home. We ordered extra parts for how we wanted the couch configured. They cancelled our order for these parts without refunding us or informing us. We finally got the part after 2 months of constant phone calls. When the delivered the couch, 4 hours past the quoted delivery time, they dented and scuffed our brand new driveway , got the couch dirty, dropped the cushions in the mulch, and upon delivery, took the extra couch part we had ordered without us realizing. The delivery men smelled strongly of alcohol. I usually do not leave a review but want to save trouble that we’ve experienced. Will never buy from Ashley again.

Pathetic customer experience, I would not recommend anybody to buy anything from Ashley. They basically don't know what customer service is. We bought around 7K worth of stuffs back in May with the expectation that we will get these things delivered by Sept-Oct which is when we were closing our new house. Come sept, they called that our order is reserved in the warehouse, we said we will confirm the date when we can accept the delivery, it will be sometime in oct. Whoever spoke with us decided to cancel all those items and now they say we can't get the whole order until Nov-Dec. This shows that all they care about is profit, your credit card is the only important thing for them. I wish I had looked at these bad reviews before setting foot into this store. I hope I can save some folks out there some trouble by taking time in writing this review. I do want to call out that in store staff are good and friendly but in general Ashley needs to improve a lot. Again please save your time, may be even spend more at some other place, it will be worth your bucks and great for your peace of mind.

The guy who answered the calls on store doesn't speak english and rude. Even he is answereing the store number and he lied he is not on store so he can not check the staus of any order if that is so then why are you answering the calls and what is this number for ? very bad experience. can't explain how much cheat they with their customers. please don't make any order unless the give you written confirmation of delivery.
The salesperson was very nice but when the furniture was delivered, the sofa was ‘broken’ The support frame on the back was cracked so we had to reject it. Now we have to start over😩

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!! Their delivery people show up days ahead of the actual delivery date with NO warning and don't bother to set up everything correctly. Now if I do it, the warranty is VOID. Can't get anyone on the phone and if you do, they hang up on you. I spoke with a "supervisor" that I guarantee was just a store employee that sits at the front desk. Sales person was nice, but once things started going wrong, she doesn't return a call or text either. Ended up disputing the charges with THEIR bank until they make some attempt to make things right. Will probably file a complaint with the Attorney General's office about their poor business practices. Maybe also putting the correct phone numbers on websites would be a good idea too.
We were happy with our salesperson. A bit disappointed when the expected delivery was 7 months down the road. Close to time to get furniture. We received several calls, texts, emails concerning our delivery. Now in its 8th month. Delivery was supposed to be today finally but actually arrived yesterday without warning.

Where is the 0 star option? Worst experience ever. On the sales floor they are all happy and excited about making the sales but real Ashley's experiece comes out when it's time for delivery. They keep delaying because of backorder. But no real expectations were set at the time of sale.When you call them either they don't answer or they pass you off to delivery customer service and delivery customer service pass you back to sales team.

After two weeks they called and scheduled for sofa drop out, no one showed up. they played this game with us every week for almost two months!!!! Purchased a recliner and asked for it to be cover with plastic. Was told didn't have anything to wrap it with. Sales person Felicia was very nice. Told me they didn't have anything but mattress cover but didn't want to give me one because they were running low. It was starting to rain and told by another employee to just drive fast. As soon as I left it started to rain hard and stopped by a gas station and had to cover it myself. So if you thinking of buying something there, make sure you bring your own bag!
I bought tables on 9/6/21. After a year of getting the run around and being lied to I was to pick them up today. The lady at the distribution center was very nice and so was the store manager last weekend. But this year has just been a nightmare. I don't feel like they did enough to make it right during that year. But last weekend was better. At least I have them in my possession.
Ordered a living room set. It was a long wait- as most things are these days, but well worth it and having delivery do the setup is well worth it too. Glad I made the purchase.

In June my wife and I went in and made our furniture selection and we were told by one of the representatives that the furniture was there in store. This turned out to be a lie as we later found out that it was in a warehouse in Chicago.2 months later when it was time to move in to our new space, we followed up to make sure the delivery date was still aug 10th. We were then notified that the order delivery date would be pushed to the end of August. And we just received our furniture yesterday. Highly unprofessional and unacceptable as they did not communicate with us that there would be delays on top of the fact that they lied to us and told us that the furniture was there in store. I do not recommend shopping at Ashley furniture in Castleton
Ashley Furniture is horrible at communicating and delivering furniture. We were given a THREE hour window and the delivery was further extended by 30min before the actual delivery took place. There’s a “tracking link”, but clicking it does not show how far away the delivery actually is, only that it is “in transit”. You basically have to clear your entire day and be at home the entire time because you never know when the delivery will actually occur. Very disappointed.
It took 8 months to get my dining room table and chairs. There is no way in hell it takes this long to manufacture and ship a dining room table and chairs! I will never pay cash upfront again or even buy from Ashley ever again!

This was the absolute worst customer experience that I had ever had when buying furniture. We ordered our sofa and were told all pieces were in stock and that we would receive the couch in 5-6 days on the following Wednesday. A couple days before delivery we were told this would not happen. We understood there were issues with backordered products and though we were upset things happen. We got the ordered rescheduled for the following Wednesday where all four pieces were guaranteed to be delivered according to management. That day came and only one piece was on the truck. At this point we were very frustrated after being promised our couch would be delivered. Due to the issues the manager at the time agreed to give us compensation for our issues. We did not want to wait another week for our couch but we decided it was the best option. We accepted the compensation and agreed to wait another week for the other three pieces. Finally, those pieces arrived after waiting almost a month after they were "promised". Fast forward a month we went to look at our statement and there was no money discounted from the compensation that was "promised". After calling to ask about this issue the manager that was there no longer works for the company. We got handed off to the new manager to help us. After being told that they would check with management to come up with a solution we waited for a call back. After almost two weeks we still hadn't heard anything. So naturally we call backed back just to get told that our couch was already discounted so no further discount could be given. Bottom line... I would not suggest to buy anything from this store or company. They are a bunch of broken promises one after another that has no care for the customer. If I could give a zero star rating I would.
Thank goodness for people like Wayne Wilson!. I purchased furniture in February, starting having issues in June and July and tried to get help with customer service lines with Ashley and Synchony financing with no help for a couple of months. Walked into store today and Wayne was a perfect professional. He was calm and polite and kept me calm which is difficult! He would not give up on the situation until he had it resolved. Wayne is a perfect example of what good customer service is and should certainly be about! Thanks again Wayne, you have relieved a lot of stress for me.

Let me start this review with this... I have still yet to receive 2 of my 4 items that I ordered on 1.1.2022. On top of the several times that nobody called me back when promised, and the delays in my furniture with, again no calls, now they have started billing me when I have not received all of my furniture. Don't order anything from them.... Don't trust anyone that works there... And understand that if you call this location they will never, ever, ever, answer the phone. You would be better off hand making your furniture

This Ashley store has such a great selection of furniture that made it easy to find the pieces to get the interior look I was looking for. Aaron was my salesperson and he went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed to make my buying decision….pricing, color choices, delivery options, delivery date, etc. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a friendly, upbeat, and professional furniture shopping experience.

I love my furniture even after waiting thousand of years to get it but the people who came forgot the screw that goes in slack and also forgot the equipment for my bed and didn’t set up my drawers for the wireless charger that came with it. I had to call customer service to get the stuff only to be told I have to wait another 7-10 days for my delivery for what took years to get 😒😒😒😒 I’m over it I was suppose to get a discount because they missed my delivery date by a month customer service refused to apply it after they said they would but whatever

I’m being generous with a 3. I’ve been to oak express and I’ve been to value city. I would put Ashley in line with value city. The only difference is Ashley has a little bit higher of a price tag. This was my first experience and like with vehicles if you pay in cash your quality of service tends to be less than. I had to pay 70 dollars for their exact definition of “quality shipping and installation”. I opened to have it delivered on Saturday. They called me later in the week to tell me that they would be here on a Monday. They then sent repetitive texts of confirmation, ensuring me that if I didn’t respond I just wouldn’t get what I’ve already paid in full for. I get an email at 9:30am that I’m stop number 2 of the day. I later get a text at 12:15 saying they will arrive in 58 minutes. They were there in less than 3. Two gentlemen came to my door and asked where I wanted my item to sit. I showed them and proceeded with question to find myself understanding they didn’t speak great English. That’s not really a bother. The bother is that I thought they put the item together for you and I figured with Ashely’s premium price the quality would be there. My item has scratches and one door is missing 2 screws until I get to the hardware store. The screws they put in the door hinges are poorly installed. I don’t even wanna think about what the wood work behind the fabric on a couch or recliner looks like. I added 4 hinge photos to show you the poor seating of the screws and crooked at best and missing 2 screws in one hinge. The 3 stars are for the Salesman Don Byebee. It’s not his fault their schedule is jacked up, was was great to deal with. The material the piece is made out of is solid wood so I have no fears about removing the screws and seating them myself and drilling and adding the other needed screws. I don’t know if I would recommend Ashley tho. Only because I’ve had better experiences with hand made furniture that was cheaper in price and built of superior quality, also delivered and installed. If you have any issues with anything it’s best to go in the store. They do not answer the phone and if they do you wait on hold for 45 minutes before they pick up and say “one moment” and you get disconnected. Quality salesmen. Quality Material. The rest. Idk. I paid 600 for a piece for it 30% off for paying cash. Forced to pay for “quality delivery and instillation” because it was under 500 after the 30% was deducted.
I am so embarrassed that I fell for the scam of purchasing from Ashley Furniture. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. We ordered furniture from Ashley on 1/1/2022. On 1/1/2022 we paid in full for this order. We were told it would be delivered in March. It is now August and we still have nothing to show for purchase. Every time we call for an update, we are given different estimation about delivery. Every customer service person says they will help us but they don't do anything to get us our furniture. DO NOT purchase from Ashley. IT IS A SCAM. They take your money and provide NOTHING in return.

She also explained about the current sale, and that I could place a phone order before time ran out. I reviewed my findings with my family, and we conveniently placed the order via phone and email confirmation with shipment option. Overall it was a great experience!

I ordered a bedroom set December the 26 of 2021 . I’m just now getting it and it is July 29th of 2022 . But l guess it paid off in the end they gave me 25 percent off. But now that l have it my drawers won’t close they keep coming off track and all. So now l have to call them and have them to fix them . We’ll see how long that takes !

Our couch was missing a cushion and dealing with customer service was awful. It was a waste of multiple hours of being transferred and on hold and getting hung up on. Their response was basically it will take six weeks to replace it, deal with it. They provided zero recourse for their mistake. Additionally, store associates were unhelpful and rude when we asked them for help.
Do not buy from here. I called 2 days before delivery and automotive system said 2-4 weeks. No one called me had to call myself to make sure. The lady on the phone told me each day items would be delivery 1 week after original delivery. Told her I wanted someone for the store to call me bc I was told should be no problem getting my furniture. Called again the next week a couple of days before last item was to arrive and said within 1 week. This time lady would not tell me the dates of arrival. Asked again for someone from the store to call me as no one had reached out yet. Called again the middle of last week and no back 2-4 weeks before everything arrived. Asked to talk to some manager and have no been told the first week of August. Almost a month after. She sent a 3rd email request to store for someone to call me. I also asked if someone would be calling me that week of arrival as she said everything should be here. She said yes but I doubt it and will have to call and go through automotive system again. Very poor customer service. They had no problem pushing the deal and taking my money but store does not follow up or anything. Not an email or phone call. But hey I get every new advertisement to sell me more now.
This was to replace an Ashley couch that had broken 5 times and they finally gave us a credit. We found it online and the salesman from the store said it would be in stock on x date. We drove an hr there and it wasn’t. He showed us something ‘comparable’ but actually nothing like it. We went ahead and purchased, the one we found online, through the store, with a simple and easy process. Then they deliver the sectional and 2/3 pieces were the right color so we had to set up another delivery for the 3rd piece. I called to cancel that 2nd delivery because we were all sick. They deliver it anyway. It was supposed to be an in home setup, that’s why I cancelled it. Once again we were sick. They drop it on the porch and tell my wife it’s not that heavy. She was dumbfounded at this and just said ok I guess we’ll figure it out. The wedge wasn’t really at the angle that we thought it was from the online pictures. So I chatted in to get this returned. They went through all their prompts and stated someone from the store would call. Gave it a few days and called the ‘store’ which transferred us to a corporate number. They stated they could do an exchange, which will not work. So I finally got someone from the store. Very nice. He stated he’d talk to the manager and have the manager call back. 3 days later, nothing.
I had the manager help me at this store. She was unprofessional and rude. Laughed in my face when I asked what the update was on an issue I’ve been having for over 4 months.
There is no customer service! Purchased a chair and given a delivery date. The date was rescheduled 4 times. There are no numbers to call to speak with anyone in the store. When you go into the store they tell you to text them and they will answer your call when it’s convenient for them. Manager Erin/Erica was extremely rude and told me she wouldn’t be spoken to by a women that way when I asked where the missing chair was. She refused to give me a business card or show me her name tag. Sales rep Jim at the store was the only kind, helpful person willing to help the customer with actual customer service.
Jennifer made herself available to answer my questions about potential purchases, even after leaving the store. So when I went back in to order, she was ready to go. It made the entire process so easy (and definitely more fun). She was knowledgeable and honest, and I felt like I had a sales person who was transparent and wanted what was best for me.
The delivery people were great. Very polite and efficient. The wrong bed was delivered and trying to contact the salesperson at the store where I bought it has been a nightmare! Impossible to get through and no call back. I’m very disappointed with Ashley Home Store. I guess I’ll have to physically go there. Very dissatisfied

Faith provided clear answers to all of our questions and was very professional. I didn’t feel pressured at all, which helped make the sale. We compared the costs, fabrics, textures, and all qualities we could think of with other stores and were happiest with our choice here.
I can't attach a picture to my review because I've been waiting 7+ months for the furniture I paid for in full 7 months ago. Someone called me about two months ago and said they were coordinating my delivery; haven't heard from them since. Frustrating beyond belief.
They will absolutely botch your delivery, have no clue where your actual furniture is, and then lie to you about it. Oh, and plan to be on hold for an hour every single time you try to call for help. Every. Time. I don’t even have the energy to recount how ours got screwed up. It’s still screwed up. It’ll still be screwed up a month from now…probably three months from now. Is there a negative rating? The profanity that I’m holding back here could go on for days.
Furniture was delivered timely and in good condition as expected. Recliner sofa and love seat was assembled and tested. However, the wrong legs were packed for the adjustable table and was therefore left partially unassembled. Waiting to see how quickly Ashley resolves this problem. Anything more than a week will be unacceptable. We'll see what happens.
Had a wonderful experience working with Aaron and Tori at the Castleton location. As we continue to upgrade our home we plan to partner with these two. Today we bought a bed set, mattress, and adjustable base. Aaron is the mattress expert as well as assisted with the rest of our visit. Tori helped us find the best bed set that aligned with our wants. Overall we are very happy visit. I recommend connecting with one of these two on your next visit!
I don’t know what happened to my fav furniture shop, but there is 0 customer service. False advertising: was buying item in stock, two days before delivery received call that item is out of stock and getting never ending rescheduling. Customer service just useless, no one trying to help. I was buying all my furniture from Ashley, today I just canceling everything after 1,5 month waiting and Ashley messing everything up
Delivery was earlier than scheduled time but I was given a automated call 15 minutes before they arrived. The 2 delivery men were very pleasant and the job was completed within 20 minutes.

Today went in.person to discuss a problem with my recliner....waiting to see if it's resolved...phone inquiries didn't work....so we will see... Wow. .months later July til now Nov.. FINALLY got our 2 cabinets. Lots of communication problems...no one e usually answered the phone or kept us up to date on our furniture. The only good thing was delivery of cabinets were a day early!
I bought and paid for a table on 1/1/2022. It's 6/30/22 and I still don't have the table I've already paid for.
Very helpful through out the process. Didn't hover over us or pressure us to buy. Let us have are space to look around and when we were ready to crunch numbers, they were there ready to help. I will be going back for more furniture.

Ashley furniture is the worse. Initially they brought a damaged footboard to me. I was informed the damage was caught at the warehouse in Chicago. Please note I live in Indianapolis. So if you're furniture is returned due to damage Ashley may attempt to charge you a fee to restock the furniture despite the damage. The sectional that was delivered had a broken frame that wasnt caught immediately. I was given a date and a four hour window of when the workers would arrive. I took a day off from work to be available when the workers arrived but they were well over 5 hrs late causing me to miss a day of work and use a day of leave that I would not have otherwise used and they should reexamine the role and job description of the chief operating officer. Again do not use Ashley furniture. You'd be better off building your own than dealing with them. Operationally they suck. Ashley used a third party vendor Fast Furniture Repair (FFR) and according to workers at Ashley they have the wrong phone number for FFR or no number at all. If I could've given zero stars I would have.

Arron sold us a couch. Not only did he have a great taste in music, he was incredibly considerate and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Now we have an amazing couch and a great local furniture salesman!
Erin is such a great associate at Ashley Furniture Store. She made the entire process so pleasant. I am a very difficult customer and I kept changing my mind on two different bed room sets that I liked the most, but I finally decided. She wasn’t pushy and she gave me my space to do my pros/Cons and make the final decision. She also allowed me to move decorating accessories from other part of the store to see if it goes with the design I had in mind.
THE. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER!!! They do not deliver what they promise. Nothing but lies and a complete runaround for weeks. Never trust when they tell you something is in stock. Customer service was a joke. Got my refund. Will NEVER use or refer anyone to Ashley Furniture. Too bad there isn’t a negative star rating.

I ordered king size bed from this store in January 2022 in April 2022 I received a call from customer service for delivery at that time I put my furniture on hold after that we scheduled a delivery 25th may but now they said 4 to 5 months more to delivery when we try to cancel the order they said we charge you holding fee and the most important thing store staff is very rude unprofessional
We purchased sectional in July 2021. The delivery was messed up from the start. I have been dealing with warranty for 6 months. I now have boxes of parts that are all the wrong pcs. They are ordering now for the 3rd time there is nobody in this company that know how to help get anything done. Alway talking to a call center that is not in the US and they are worthless hours spent on the phone with the call center. If you purchase from Ashley Furniture good luck I will never again!!!!!

UPDATE: 6/10/22 Unfortunately Ashley failed to honor their most recent delivery date and we decided to cancel the order outright. Upon contacting customer service over the phone and requesting the cancellation due to the circumstances, we were advised to "just wait the few more days" for them to reschedule the delivery for a 4th time. Absolutely disrespectful. The only positive experience was the escalated support number left in reply to this review. I engaged with a customer support contact via text and was able to re-explain my situation again. After turning down a few upsells and partial refunds, I finally got the issue elevated to managerial approval. After about 20 minutes, approval was granted and our refund was submitted for processing. The rep was very polite through the whole process and sent an updated invoice showing the refund for our records. I won't be purchasing from Ashley's in the future, but it is at least good to know that the elevated customer support seems to be competent. The in store staff has always been a delight to work with as well. If you're willing to stomach sub-par customer support lines and missed delivery dates, then more power to you. --- Most recent purchase has been THE MOST frustrating customer service experience I've ever had. All it would have taken was a phone call to let us know ahead of time that the adjusted delivery date couldn't be met and we should expect our original timeline of early June. We're not upset that the delivery was delayed, it was the absolute negligence and indecency shown by the customer service reps to not keep us informed as to the changes in delivery. For context: I was told our product was on back order and could take up to 12 weeks to deliver when we purchased it. We were also advised to call back to the 1-800 number to confirm the status of our order around the 8 week mark. Upon making that call a couple weeks ago, the rep explained the order is marked for early June delivery, but all the components were already in the warehouse. He was going to adjust the delivery to today (5/27) and confirmed over the phone we were all set. Fast forward to today, my wife called to inquire as to the time of the delivery as we had never received any follow-up after that phone call. The customer service rep she connected with shifted the blame onto US for "assuming there would be a delivery without written confirmation". There were no notes in our file documenting our previous call a few weeks ago and when asked when the order was delayed for delivery her response was "I don't know". Our first two purchases were very smooth, in-store staff was incredibly helpful, and delivery has previously been well communicated and planned. Unfortunately, this experience will have us shopping elsewhere and we can't honestly recommend Ashley as a good experience with such poor customer service as this.
I walked in really wanting to buy a bed frame from them. Firstly the manager seemed really sweet but than tried to convince me to buy a mattress and kept asking questions about my sleep. I found a perfect bed frame was going to buy it until they told me it was on back order and I would get it in 3-6 weeks we know how that goes here . Proceeded to Shame other companies saying they are all on back order for about 12 months. I went over to another furniture store, found a similar bed frame for 1 cheaper and 2 I could get it from the warehouse that day. Girl manager wearing a while coat talking about mattresses it’s weird to ask such personal weird questions about my sleep. Jennifer was super sweet but at the end she started talking about how other companies are so much worse than them and said I shouldn’t order online on Ashley’s website. I had way too many people walking up to me to try to help me I appreciate the help but I had no time to look. I was on the phone and the workers continued to walk up to me so I left I couldn’t do it.
I purchased two pieces of furniture from this store earlier this year. I was told the delivery would be early to mid March, but the date was constantly pushed back. While I understand delays, this was not communicated to us prior to purchase. The only reason we purchased the specific items was because we were informed they could be delivered quickly. I was also informed that I could pick up the items at a local distribution center/warehouse or have them delivered. While I chose delivery at the time, I no longer trust this company and would like to pick up the items myself. Now that the items are available, months later than expected, they are only available for pickup in Chicago, IL.

Bright side was the delivery team was absolutely amazing. Overall: Definitely do not recommend ordering from Ashley.

Here’s a link to my year-long saga with Ashley Furniture store…. In-store employees are EXCELLENT, knowledgeable and helpful as are the delivery drivers. Everyone in customer service & distribution that you will speak to on the phone are full of excuses. They do NOT deliver what they promise. Period. The picture below is my REPLACEMENT headboard that came today 4/20/22 (a day before my scheduled delivery) that took 7 months to receive after our initial headboard AND side rails arrived damaged. My initial order was placed on 3/31/21. BOTH were supposed to come with tomorrow. I called to confirm today after getting a ridiculous amount of notifications, and my rails HAVE DISAPPEARED with no explanation. This happened with our headboard the FIRST time we ordered. It’s unfortunate when purchasing a floor model I couldn’t just take it home with me on the day of purchase. Due to it being the weekend, I am inconvenienced and have to go back M-F from 10-4 which isn’t exactly convenient. Not very accommodating or customer focused.
Awful customer experience. Bought +$4.5k in furniture. Sales people made a mistake with the order and now there isnt anything they can do to resolve their own mistake. I'm left with a spring box that work with my bed (both bought in this store same day!) Do yourself a favor and do not get anything from this store

Nothing in stock we have waited since November 2021 for our order and now customer service stated August delivery I do not have any confidence that we will get it then Do not buy from them they depend on China or someone out in space for products. They just keep selling products they have no way of providing but will tell you they can.

Don't be fooled!! The Ops Manager (Tamra) and her assistant (Erin) attitudes are capricious to say the least. They are operating the store like bunch of bullies that are only wanting to lull you into keep purchasing more. To cancel anything you have to show up between Monday thru Friday 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM. Sales however, continue until 09:00 PM. They don't apologize for anything. No follow thru and you are better off keeping your money and going elsewhere. If you happen to place an order, be aware, the dates are a joke and you are being conned. You might eventually get your money back, but I am not sure at this time! BTW: Check their BBB rating and list of complaints, if you have any concerns.

We went into Ashley to look at couches, the selection was amazing. We ended up working with Jennifer she was great and made our buying experience easy and seem less. We ended up purchasing a sectional, recliner, dining room table, chairs, mattress and base along with couch table and end tables for our new home. I highly recommend Jennifer if you are in need of any home furnishings.

I walked into this Ashley Furniture Homestore on Friday, March 18th 2022 to find a specific chair that I saw online. Neisha the salesperson that I spoke to said that she had the chair on the floor and it was a clearance item. It was the color that I wanted and purchased it. We arranged with Neisha the time to return to pick it up and I asked if the chair could be wrapped in plastic since we had rain showers. Neisha said yes the chair would be wrapped in plastic. Neisha could not have been more helpful and nice! When we arrived at the store to pick up the chair we were told to drive around to the back and a large garage door opened and the chair was sitting on a dolly in a congested area filled with other furniture, a ladder, etc... I asked about wrapping the chair in plastic to protect it from the weather and the woman (Store Manager Shannon Finn) responded by telling me that "clearance items are never wrapped" and that I was misinformed by Neisha. I then saw a large roll of heavy duty plastic a few feet away and asked Store Manager Shannon Finn if I could have some and I would wrap it. I was told "no that plastic is for the floor when we paint". Shannon Finn could not have been more rude. She needs to be canned! BEWARE if you purchase an item off the floor, clearance, as is because they won't give you a couple of dollars worth of plastic to protect your piece of furniture. I'll be spending my money elsewhere because of this rude Store Manager and will be telling all of my friends and family to do the same.

Horrible. If I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered furniture almost a year ago and still have not received everything. I received 2 out of 10 things. That's it. They blame it on COVID & the pandemic - and I get that. However - they will get some of our stuff in, and then will give it to other customers instead of us. I have spoken with several different people - employees and managers - and this place is just a mess. Three people we have worked with here have quit or been let go, hence making the time longer to get our stuff. We do not get ANY communication from them. It's all been a guessing game. Everyone I have spoken with who have used Ashley in the past regret it. Friends, coworkers, family - they all say to not go here. We bought a house and literally do not have furniture and haven't for almost a year because of Ashley. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
Nice place, I guess. The sales people seemed like there were a lot of gimmicks behind what they were saying. The bedding person roaming the store for a trial or drawing was a bit intense.
Worst experience ever. False advertisement of delivery timeline. Multiple phone calls with customer service and not able to answer questions. Local store never pick up the phone calls. When we visit them, lied to us the store manager is not there. Waited 2 hrs and still not able to talk to a right person of the order. Being told by customer service the cancellation is free and someone is going to call me for cancellation process. They end up canceled my order with 10% penalty without any phone calls or explanation. So we spent more than 4 months of wait with nothing delivered, but more than $350 charge!!! Don’t recommend anyone to Ashley especially this store!
Charged a cancellation fee for an order never received. Then was told to reach out to Guest Relations department to further discuss. According to Guest relations a restocking fee or any fee is to the Discretion of the local store and they cannot help me with and directed me back to the local store. Again getting the run around after trying to cancel an order since January.
Went in and left with a purchased sectional. Salesmen was excellent and made us comfortable with the deal. Visited 4 other stores prior to Ashley.

Never have had such an amazing buying experience. Faith was AMAZING at showing me different mattresses and informing me about all of the things in doing wrong at sleeping lol. I couldn’t recommend anyone else more. My boyfriend bought a couch as well. Aaron was so helpful as well!

Went here looking for a sectional and ended up leaving with a sofa & and a “chair and a half” plus an ottoman. The store had so many great options, we had a hard time deciding ! Martin Fitzgerald is absolutely wonderful to work with, he was super low pressure & answered every question we had while also giving us all of the applicable discounts & whatever info he had for our purchase. Will definitely be coming back in the future to complete our living room :)
Aaron Traylor was knowledgeable about the pieces of furniture we were looking at, and helped us source an additional piece that was hard to find. He also struck a great balance between being attentive and giving us the space we needed to discuss and decide over our purchases. No attempt to please the customer, just tries shoving financing information in people's faces to make a sale as quick as possible, then when customer says they'd like to shop around, they're brushed off like they don't matter. Jim Lincoln was a great sales rep. Not pushy like some sales reps. Asked what we were looking for took us right to a few choices and then let us look then over. Came back after a while answered our questions and then when we chose what we wanted he was quick and thorough about the whole purchase and warranties. Now we just wait till the furniture comes in and gets delivered!

I made 2 different purchases within a month..two different sales people. Very helpful and informative. I was looking for sectional, and a love seat as well as kitchen table set. Told me of specials, without being over bearing. There is much competition in the area, and I checked them out...but service and price is what had me come back to Ashley. I might add...I was witness to a "karen" throwing a fit...but manager remained very professional!
We “purchased” furniture 8/2021, it’s now 6 months later and still no one knows where or when our furniture will be in and delivered. I’m being told it takes a year from customer service to receive furniture from Ashley. We were told by Aaron our sales associate that we would receive the pieces as they came in, that was a lie. Each time I call and try to get a handle on what is going on I am told something different. Do NOT use Ashley.

While most places have a 3-6 month wait for furniture. Ashley had what I wanted in stock, and Mike was very patient with me while I asked what was in stock while I shopped. Delivery and set up was fast and friendly. I will shop here again.

I DONT RECOMMEND ASHLEY. This was our first time using them. Furniture came months after promised date (to be expected with covid). Couch arrived stained and damaged. The delivery guys took pics and submitted that it was messed up. Took 5 MONTHS TO GET SOMEONE OUT HERE TO LOOK AT IT. They said it wasn’t repairable. Today received a bag in the mail with fabric to recover part of the sectional. No note, no explanation, no phone call. Arrived in a white plastic bag!!! What the hell??? I spent thousands!!! I’m so disgusted, and of course customer service is no help whatsoever. AND I PAID ALL THE EXTRA MONEY FOR WARRANTY REPLACEMENT PROGRAM. It is now March 10th. Another service tech has been out to say couch can’t be repaired and verified the bag of fabric isn’t a match. Company still not doing anything. I highly advise not using Ashley for your purchases. I’ll edit my review if they actually do anything. We are 8 months out of a damaged couch being delivered and nothing being done. April 29…waiting for our third attempt for them to replace our damaged couch. They have brought two more damaged couches. There’s no manager to talk to. No customer service help. I will never buy from Ashley again. I have been sitting at home all day waiting for a delivery. I’ve never had a worse experience with a furniture company. I’ve purchased from Kittles, Godby, L Fish…never experienced anything like this with other companies. April 29…you can’t make this up Finally delivered an undamaged piece. Not all the pieces match perfectly color wise. Ashley’s response, “they will fade over time and match.” Seriously? Clearly the middle piece is darker than the rest.

Ordered furniture five months ago and finally told it would be another three months so we canceled they talked us into taking something in stock which we did for thousands of dollars and within two weeks the loveseat recliner quit working something electrical I assume called customer service they wanted us to diagnose it they would not come out and look at it told us they ordered parts and they would be in 7 to 10 days 10 days have gone by and now they’re telling us an additional 10 days do you not believe a word they say when you call customer service you get Cooter from India

I went in to look because of the ongoing sale. The salesman Jim, greeted me and explained everything to me. I found the bedroom furniture that I liked. I was surprised to see how affordable it was.
We went in looking for a chaise lounge. Faith greeted us and explained the way the store was organized and then let us roam without any pressure. She always seemed to be near by ready to answer any questions but not hovering or pressuring us with her ideas, which was great. We narrowed it down to a couple of choices and then she walked us through the pros and cons of each and let us settle on the best choice for us, which ended up being the more expensive of the pieces. We are excited to receive the new addition to the bedroom. Fingers crossed we are in the shorter side of the delivery window which is understandably longer then expected with all the supply chain issue we hear about daily. All in all we expect to shop at Ashley again in the future.

This is our 2nd purchase at this store. We went in to look around about a week prior and came back after we decided to make a purchase. Our sales consultant Neisha was awesome! She helped look up availability on a few pieces so we could make our final decision.

We went to multiple stores today to look for the perfect sectional at the perfect price. This was the first store that we went to and then we went to 6 other furniture stores but we end up coming back to Ashley HomeStore. The sales lady (Neisha) who assisted us was just truly amazing and her customer service was top notch. She was very busy but she was still very attentive to us and was able to answer all of our question. She made our purchase extremely easy and stress free. It was so easy my wife fell asleep on the couch we purchased. I think my wife likes it . 😉 The next time we shop for furniture for our home we will definitely go here first. The Sales Associates are very congenital from the Floor Sales to Supervision. I was assisted on choosing the items I want by a very Knowledgeable Lady a Ms. Hardy!! Great personality, explanation of prices, sales, and proud attitude of her job, & dealing with her customers that is purchasing items they need. She assured her word of delivery dates, quality, she let you shop without harassing you, by walking behind you. I can't stand a pushy Sales person at all. That will not get my purchase at all!!!!!. I was also remembered from a previous purchase for my Daughter in 2017. I was really surprised that she remembered me. I asked her if they still had records of my purchase and yes they did. 2017 was the last time I had even walked in the store!! That's a good memory from then to now. I ordered furniture back in February of 2021 with Sophia at the Avon Store and knew it would take time to receive it due to Covid and was beyond understanding, and finally received my furniture on September 4th. And the gentleman Nate and he’s co worker were amazing and super helpful with set up, however apart of purchasing furniture from Ashley’s was that you received a gift card for 3 months worth of my monthly payment gifted back. The Avon store never answers their phones and I was in communication with Elite Rewards and now they don’t answer the phone anymore, they are probably just as over the problem as I’am! I’m so over going back and forth with these issue! I’ve been WAITING SINCE SEPTEMBER IVE BEEN MORE THAN UNDERSTANDING FOR AN ALMOST $300 gift card! I will never buy from Ashley Furniture AGAIN!! Customer service and knowledge of what is going on is terrible!

Good selection of furniture at better prices than I found around the rest of town, and the couch I got is very comfortable. The salesman was very helpful and the entire process was faster than I thought it would be but I have to wait 6-12 weeks until I get the couch.

I’ve shopped with Ashley’s a lot. But I’ve never had a more pleasant experience than I did at this location (near Costco). I was immediately greeted by very friendly people. When I explained what I needed, Neisha showed me exactly what I had in mind. She was knowledgeable about the furniture fabrics and styles of sofas. She was wonderful to work with. Her co-workers were also helpful. And the icing on the cake— my sofa selection was IN STOCK and delivered the next day! Btw, the third party delivery service (Big Ts delivery) also very prompt, careful and cleaned up after the delivery and installation. Very professional. Yes, I would definitely recommend.

Will never shop with Ashley Furniture again!! Called all day and I couldn't get ahold of anyone at the store. Was told by multiple employees in what they like to call "customer service" that I have to go into the store and show the add. Then after that I can receive a price match, no problem. What a complete joke! I drove an hour one way, walked in to a completely dead store to get denied on a price match request that was well within their 30 day time frame, plus from their own site. The lady said due to me already receiving my furniture ahead of schedule I am not eligible. Sooo your 30 day price match is a lie? Yep! Awesome! That would have been nice to know from what they call "customer service" or maybe a return phone call.

I know many furniture stores are experiencing delays due to the pandemic, but I recommend looking elsewhere if you wish to furnish anything in your home within 6-12 months of purchasing it- consider Kittles, Wayfair, or even Amazon before going to Ashley. It has been an incredibly Frustrating experience working with anyone affiliated with this furniture store. In early September we bought 12 pieces of furniture, none of which have arrived. We have been given 4 different delivery dates (the first of which was by Halloween), and each time the date comes and goes and only when WE call customer service, do we find out that it continues to be delayed. We have had to physically go into the store 3 separate times to get any answers around delivery timing. The most recent time we went in was today because we have waited 4 business days for a call from the manager which never came. The manager was extremely dismissive, unhelpful, and we *might* get 2 pieces of our 12 piece order by Christmas. We will likely be cancelling the order if we hope to get anything in before our second child arrives in May (9 months AFTER ordering).

First I will say this location does have good customer service and we were helped through the process of purchasing a new couch. My rating of two stars is for the company in general. We have had our reclinig couch since August and the reclining mechanism has been broke since the day we got it. We have 1 year manufacturer warranty and we also pod for warranty on top of that. The first two months trying to get the couch fixed was wasted as we were told the wrong way to put in the request. I called into customer service and was told to send a picture of what was faulty and send it to their email. After waiting for 1 month I called back again to find out that was the old method and they do not even have access to that email anymore. The customer service representative took my information to put in the service request the right eay and told me someone wpuld be in contact with me the following day to schedule a technician to come out. Several weeks later I had not been contacted and I called in because instead of a technician coming out we received a huge box of parts without notice. I was again assured someone wpuld call me within 48 hours and nothing. Several weeks later again I called in and eas told I was on the schfor the following Tuesday to get a call. Again did not receivea call. I called in this past week and even spoke with a supervisor who said tbecause they go through a third party there was nothing they could do. I tried to explain that I have a had a faulty couch since the time of delivery, over 3 months ago and I just need to get in the schedule roe the technician. He told me there was nothing more he could do. So long story short if you need any assistance past purchase, forget it! this is not the place to hold up their end of the deal!

Order placed April 9th, 2021. We were told there would be a long delay due to pandemic reasons - that's fine, not a big deal, and they were upfront about that. Received order in waves (a sofa, love seat, 2 chairs, and a table with 4 chairs) and had everything by October. The problem has been with the table and 4 chairs. The table was delivered with a damaged top and all 4 chairs wobble. We measured the length of the chair legs and they're all different. Quality control was out for lunch when they made those I guess? Since then my wife and I have been in a constant battle to try and get someone to talk and/or communicate with us how to resolve this problem. No one we spoke with when calling the store was any help at all. My wife found a customer service number you could text reading reviews and she reached out using that and we got a schedule for the table and chairs to be repaired. The day of the scheduled repair we were called and told it was canceled and would need to be rescheduled. So our repair went from October to November 30th... The person arrived today and told us the table top or the entire table needs replaced, but his work order said nothing about the chairs which my wife and I complained about multiple times. So now he is filing out his report that goes to Ashley HomeStore to eventually do something about the table, and then he's reporting an issue with the chairs so they can send the same guy back out to actually look at the chairs? This process has been nothing but frustrating and it is primarily because of poor, or rather lack of, any real communication. I can get them to talk to me all I want if I'm looking to spend money, but once I've bought something it seems they don't care about customer service beyond that point. My wife has called the store multiple times today to request a refund on the table with chairs but no is answering the phone nor returning messages. I'm not sure how you can pay for something, receive it damaged and just be stuck with it? I will never shop at this store again nor any Ashley HomeStore establishment and I will recommend the same to friends/family. They need to get their act together when it comes to customer retention because this is not the way to do it. *EDIT* Since I can't reply to the response - the phone # provided to text information to is the one my wife and I have been using and they told us to contact the store directly but the store doesn't answer calls nor return messages when you leave them. Apparently I need to try tweeting this out and have it go viral before getting any real assistance.

Great quality furniture comes with a price. They charge over a $100 delivery fee and will constantly reschedule it with no reason given and not even telling you. They won't give you a straight answer everytime either after 5 phone calls I had 5 different answers, You have to call to find out anything and it'll be different every time. They'll finally tell you a "final day it'll be delivered" and give you a time frame and itll still be late. can't see myself going back.
They told me I was getting my mattress in 1 week and had to wait 1 month for it. Never again

My family and I went to this store to start our shopping experience. This location is in close proximity to other furniture stores. Our plan was to visit many stores that day. We were greeted by a friendly sales person. When we had questions, She was right there. Upon leaving, she gave us her contact information. We did go to other stores and decided not to buy anything that day. Weeks passed and we decided to buy from Ashley. We contacted our sales lady and she took great care of us. We may even be back to buy more furniture in the near future because of our experience.

Great selection of furniture. The salespeople were extremely friendly and informative, but still gave is time to browse without constantly following us around. The furniture is very good quality and we got a great deal! Financing was easy. The only downside is our dining room set won't be delivered for about 8 weeks, but that seems on par with most places. Overall, we are extremely happy with the experience and will probably be returning soon as we continue to furnish our new house.

I have to say, this is one of the better furniture stores I have worked with Very personal and professional. If there was a sixth star I would give it to them. The salesman welcomed us and gave us our space until we asked for assistance. Then he answered our questions and helped us. We were looking for a new bedroom suite. We found the one we liked. My daughter ordered a living room suite for her place. We will definitely be shopping there again.

Shopping at the Ashley Homestore on Castle Creek Parkway was the best furniture shopping experience we have ever had. The floor samples were varied and numerous. We were able to compare styles and colors while finding reasonable prices throughout. Our sales rep Deborah, was helpful while not being pushy. She knew the inventory and gave a few very helpful suggestions while not trying to dictate what we should see. As we completed our purchase, Deborah worked to find us all the discounts to make our price the greatest. Thank you Ashley Furniture!

Not a good experience. I purchased several pieces of furniture back in February 2021 and all of the pieces were great/on-time delivery except for an L-shaped desk I ended up having to return in October. Process was pretty brutal with poor communication between Ashley and their outsourced vendors to try to assemble. Finally got a credit the other day for this return, but WAY too many phone calls/efforts for a desk from a customer perspective. Will probably use Wayfair moving forward, much better process. It probably should be a 1 star review, but I'll give them 2 for the other successful orders and credit on the desk.
Everything went well. Martin was excellent and very knowledgeable of pricing and offers. They did price comparison. However they didn’t keep their word on the $50 gift card. I was sent an email about purchasing. Asked about it in the store then at then end when I asked about it again, didn’t receive it. In today’s society business means deceiving consumers but they call it marketing. Lying is lying. Not a good practice.

I placed a Bedroom order from the Ashley Home Store in Castleton, IN. In March of 2021, I paid cash for the set. I was told that delivery could be delayed up to June 2021. I agreed to this timing because he explained the manufacturer was behind on production due to the Pandemic. No courtesy communication from the Company. I cancelled my order in September. Because the new Date was now January 2022. It is Now, November and I had not received my total refund. I will never recommend or shop with Ashley Home Store again.
This is the worst company bar none I have ever dealt with.I have been in the Castleton store 25 times and have never gotten any help with furniture I have been paying for that is damaged.I have turned them in to BBB and went all the way to their corporate offices.Don’t ever buy anything from them!!!!

We had a great first time experience shopping for a sectional at Ashley Homestore. Within an hour, we had picked out a sectional and worked through pickup and payment. Raneisha was a HUGE help and we will certainly be back to see her with our future purchases.
Unfortunately, our most recent experience was not great. We had been told earlier this year that the lead times for furniture was very long so with our 2nd child due in early November, we went in June to place our order for a rocker. When we placed this order, we were given an estimated delivery date in October but told we wouldn’t get the actual delivery date until the chair was in house. That delivery request came October 6th with a time and confirmation. We later that week got a notice that the apt needed rescheduled for the follow Wed, Oct 13th. Confirmed that apt and Oct 13th came and went. The next day, Oct 14th, I called customer service to see why our chair hadn’t shown up only to find out the chair was on back order for another 32+ weeks. Confused, I asked why we got the delivery apts. Customer service couldn’t speak to why and referred me to our local store so I went to our local store the following day, October 15th only to confirm the same delay. Except the store explained that they have an automated system that will find an older PO and attach the item to that PO automatically each night cancelling any other PO already attached. No one, customer or store included, is made aware of the change. With the delays across the supply chain, we are understanding. Just frustrated with the Ashley system. One, if estimated delivery dates are given and then delayed, it would seem they could reach out to let customers know. In this case, we are 2 weeks from due date now left to scramble to find a rocker for our new child (still up against many of the same delays). And second, why wouldn’t system automatically deliver item to oldest PO first versus scheduling with one customer and then rescheduling with another customer. Seems like that would lead to a lot of confusion and frustration with their customers. Unfortunate all around.
We purchased a couch in July and were told that it was going to be delivered in August. August came and went and we were told that it would be delivered week after week in September. Finally mid September they pushed deliver out to mid October. We are now in October and we were told we would be getting a partial delivery on October 14 and now they are continuing to push the date with no true resolution on sight. Their customer service team member Blanca was extreme useless and unhelpful in our most recent encounter. All others we have spoken to although not much help were never rude and disrespectful in the way she was. We would have never purchased a couch if the deliver was going to be this delayed because now we will be bringing home a new baby without anywhere to sit after months of promises from Ashley with zero delivery. We understand shipping delays and issues but their complete lack of being able to gauge when a couch will come in with delayed timelines is absolutely ridiculous. We are now stuck waiting on a couch that may never come at this point with little help from anyone at Ashley Furniture.

My wife and I purchase a bedroom suite back in March, still haven't received it, nor was given an update on the arrival date. Three weeks ago she went into the store, to try to find out what was going on. No one from the store in Castleton, or Corporate reached out to provide any information on the changed delivery dates, so she requested a refund at that point the person in the store said that they have several pieces instock, but not the complete bedroom suite, my wife paid cash and this is something she had been searching and saving for a long time. Now, after seven months with no communication at all until she went into the store, and then to be told it would be January 2022 before she would receive the complete set. Given an non-sincere apology, it has been a three weeks, and still waiting on her refund, this is totally unprofessional for a company as large and wide spread as Ashley Home Store Furniture.

We ordered a sectional and ottoman in the middle of June. Paid cash in June and as of today, we still don't have any of our pieces. We have called numerous times and have received conflicting information, promises of people to call back, and promises that delivery will call to set up a time. I haven't received anything but empty promises. I would not order anything from Ashley unless you enjoy poor service after the initial sale. Update.... after 8 months since I bought the furniture, we received our last piece. I love it, just had to wait a very, very, long time!!
