I am not happy with the call center. She actually hung up on me. My last time purchasing anything from Ashley

I recently purchased a sectional couch from Ashley Furniture, and unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with the experience. The couch arrived with a visible cut mark on the fabric, which is extremely frustrating for a brand-new item. This kind of damage should have been caught during quality control or before delivery. To make matters worse, Ashley Furniture refused to repair or replace the damaged couch, simply because I didn’t add a warranty. I understand policies, but it’s unreasonable to deny responsibility for a manufacturing or delivery defect on a brand-new product. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I do not recommend purchasing from Ashley Furniture based on the lack of quality control and poor customer service.

Mike helped me make smart choices and figured out how to make it work in my budget. Couldn't be happier

I purchased a store sample which was in good condition when I saw it in store. However, when loading it into my car, they loaded another piece from the warehouse, which had chips and cracks. I only saw it when I got home. I called the customer support for resolution, but they said they can’t do anything for clearance pieces.

Marco was extremely helpful. He was not overly aggressive or annoying, gave us guidance when we asked, answered questions and gave us adequate time to select our preferred choice and discuss our options amongst ourselves before making a final decision. He and the manager gave us a good and fair deal, and made excellent accommodations for delivery.

Joe at Ashley Furniture was great! Very knowledgeable and listened to my requests. Walked out with. Sofa, side chair 3 piece bedroom set and a mattress. Had a great experience!!!

Ashley stores have great merchandise

DO NOT purchase from Ashley. I bought a 3 drawer dresser that was delivered broken. It took a month for customer service to deliver 2 small drawer sliders for a technician to fix. The day of the fix, the technician cancels on me and Ashley reschedules a technician to come back out in TWO WEEKS. Ridiculous. In the meantime, the headboard of my bed is now leaning close to a 45 degree angle and putting stress on the frame. I’ve had this furniture for less than 3 months and 2 out of the 5 pieces are broken. Anyway I can return these pieces and take business elsewhere?

Great buying experience

Went to see if there were any clearance or marked down furniture and caught Mike’s attention. He let me know that everything in the store was on sale, and referred me to a couch that was in my budget. So far, so good. I asked about a few other items I might want with the couch I liked, and added those into the cart. Once we got to the financing and signing of documents, I asked twice throughout the sale if the 5-year protection was an add-on/extra or did it come included with the purchase? I was told it was included both times, in which I said “ok.” I saw the purchase order before payment and pointed out the protection on the bill and asked again if it was extra and was told about the benefits and that it was included. I would’ve considered adding the $200 protection to the $700 order, but I was not given the option to remove it by Mike at all during the interaction. I ended up signing and paying the down payment, and leaving tentatively satisfied. I double checked my receipt, and sure enough I was charged the $200 plan when that price was not discussed. Mike was nice enough during the interaction, but I felt uncomfortable about the protection and upselling practices. Overall I would recommend specifically asking to remove any and all protection if that’s something you don’t want to pay for. Left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me not want to shop in an Ashley’s store again.

Malcolm is friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. I recommend him highly and I hope the mattress lives up to its reputation.

I bought a queen size platform bed and mattress. This is for a spare bedroom, hardly used. I was charged 270 for a protection plan- was not ask if I even wanted one- which I don't. Called salesperson- he is taking it off. Besides that- everything was good.

Ashley’s has the WORST customer service. Please be warned if you have a complain they will ignore you. I ordered a lot of items one of them being a bed set. They only delivered the mirror, 2 dressers and night stand that has the most strong , irritating TOXIC smell.I could not imagine how my bedroom would smell when the entire set arrived. I requested them to please pick the 2 dressers and night stand because after wiping and opening windows for days the smell is so irritating we have had to move out from that room . I wish I had read reviews because I found out apparently they use FORMALDEHYDE 5 times higher than the required amount and it’s CARCINOGENIC. Now they won’t pick up the 2 dressers and night stand and I had to cancel all the other items that have not arrived yet due to poor customer service. The deliver person did not even take one of the dressers upstairs!! Poor service all around. I would like to reorder something that doesn’t use this kind of finishing but they might force me to go to a different store. My order was from the Castleton store, Indianapolis.

Over price for furniture built overseas. I had my couch and love seat 4 years and was lie to saying it's all leather. Plastic 1 year rips show 4 years look like train wreck. All furniture are Owen by same company just different names .micro fiber is better choice. Good luck on junk they are saling

Well they forgot to unwrap a part of the couch and it still had a pillow packed under the recliner and when I pulled it out realized that the recliner would not completely close all the way. I completely believe it was damaged in delivery so I filled a claim and I’m waiting to hear back. Other than that I love my couch and the customer service in the store was amazing!

UPDATED to 1 star. Received a call from management who simply restated that they will not do a return or exchange of the product. Beware of poor customer service! After searching online and in store we chose to go through a salesperson, Jennifer, at the Ashley store. We chose this option as we prefer to work with a person rather than just order online. In hindsight, buyers should be aware that the store will not accept returns or exchanges, despite the online order policy being a 30 day return window. We had no issue with our order or delivery, but decided quickly that the color of our selected loveseat did not match our living room. We are more than willing to make an exchange and work with the store to replace the item. However, they refuse to discuss options, simply stating that once signed for, the order is final. The salesperson has since quit responding to messages, and we have yet to receive a promised call from management. It is confounding as to why the online store will work with buyers to get them the correct item for their home, while an in-person salesperson refuses to work to satisfy the customer. I rarely leave reviews, but customer service here is lacking.

Typical bs sales tactics. I was not informed of there no return policy. Furniture doesn’t fit and they won’t let me return it even for a fee. Of course the salesman ghosted me. Buyer beware. This will be the last piece of furniture I ever buy from Ashley’s

I had a surprisingly good experience at Ashley today. They were able to price match a couch to the price I found on the internet. Do your homework! It pays off! I saved a TON of money. That aside, Marco and Malcolm were great to deal with. Buying furniture is already an unpleasant task, and those guys weren't vultures like I experienced at a couple other stores. Listen, not everyone can afford Kittles and Godby, but also want something nicer than Bob's or Value City can provide. If you're one of those people, check out Ashley and ask for one of the dudes I mentioned above!

I worked with Marco Espinoza to buy furniture for my parents, and I can definitely say that he was a man of his word when he told my mother the day before that he'll get us the best price possible, no matter what. He beat the Ashley price, the online price from a competitor with the same item, plus some, and he was very respectful and not pushy at all in the entire process. Definitely recommend you ask for him when you come to the Castleton location

The staff were extremely helpful but not overwhelming. They answered all of my questions and gave me a tailored experience, landing me a cheaper deal than I was expecting and a faster delivery date for my couch!

This location didn't have the huge furniture selection that their old Carmel location had, but it was OK. I like to browse stores without being hounded by sales personnel. After telling a few employees that I was only browsing, I was able to enjoy my visit without interruptions.

Devin was absolutely amazing and made the process fun and easy. His manager on the other was awkward and made me question how he got his role. I’ve never seen a store manager need to validate what a sales person sold.

I really appreciate how friendly Malcom was in helping me pick out my first piece of furniture for my new home. He gave me different options with the layout of the chaise, provided detailed information on the financing options, and gave me a helpful tip about white walls and how they make rooms look more spacious. I really appreciate the time.

My wife and I had a great experience today with Marco. He greeted us at the door with a smile and information on this months sales & promotios. After a 10 mins conversation he led us to the dining room and kitenette set we were looking for. I would highly recommend asking for Marco at Ashley Furniture Store.

I was very pleased with service I found exclusively what I was looking for

Beware! It was not disclosed at time of purchase that there are two options for delivery service. During our purchase process, they discussed a delivery charge, which we assumed was non-negotiable, however they did not make clear that there are two service options under the classification of "delivery charge". The service that they automatically apply to your bill is called the White Glove Delivery service which includes the moving and assembly of the furniture and is VERY PRICEY ($250 for our couch). The option they don't tell you about is the Door Step Delivery service which is completely free but does not include moving or assembly. Therefore, if you are capable and willing to carry the furniture inside your home from the porch and assemble it make sure you clarify you want the Door Step Delivery service at time of purchase. Had I known this was an option I would have chosen this.

Working with Ashley furniture has been a nightmare. We were supposed to receive our furniture a week ago. We received a few items today and are not receiving the rest for another two weeks. When the bed was delivered today, they knocked over a plant and chatted it. They also hit our sewing fan. You can’t call a location and talk to a manager. I keep on getting the runaround from everyone. Years previous I have not had these issues but now I don’t think I would ever purchase anything from them again.

Had a couch delivered to our brand new house and the delivery guy damaged our ceiling in 3 different places carrying it in. I contacted both the store and the number they gave me as soon as the delivery guy left. The response I received is they used a 3rd party delivery and it was on them. It was delivered and damaged on 3/20. I still have not heard back from either the store or delivery party on what they will do to fix the situation. Would give zero stars if I could. Will never do business with them again since no one wants to take responsibility.

When Ashley delivered our couch, they damaged the ceiling of our brand new home in three places. We called the store and Ashley’s Customer Care for help on day of delivery (March 20th) and we’ve still received no response or resolution. When something goes wrong, Ashley takes zero ownership of the issue. We had planned to spend a lot more with Ashley to fully furnish our new home but all future purchases will now go to a competitor based on this experience. Nobody at Ashley cares when they screw something up. Buyer beware.

UPDATE: On day 4 now. STILL NO CALL from the upper management as I was told. Don’t go to Salesman Mike or the Manager Austin. NO ONE has reached from this location. Went in to the location in Castleton just to browse as we are buying a new home. A salesman, Mike, came up to us. We advised we were just looking around for now to get an idea for our new house. He tells us about a new home buyers option where we can put a HOLD on some items WITHOUT it going on our card. We asked him THREE separate times if this was going to go on the card because we cannot make any big purchases at the moment. EVERY time he told us NO IT WOULDNT. I check my card half an hour later, lo and behold IT WAS ON THERE. He told us nothing was finalized so we wouldn’t be charged. And added items we didn’t ask for and pressured us into it. Bunch of lying STRAIGHT TO OUR FACES. The sales manager clearly doesn’t know how credit works either. He told us “it shouldn’t change your score. When you opened the card initially it’s ran. It won’t change.” Currently in the process of trying to cancel our order thanks to all the lies. I don’t recommend this location. I don’t recommend the sales guy. I don’t recommend the manager who doesn’t know how credit works. Currently waiting on a call from a higher up manager.

Everyone at the Castleton Ashley Store was super friendly and very professional. We got the couch we wanted and everything was completed in a short time frame. I highly recommend this store!

I was met by Caden who pointed me in the direction of the recliners for which I was looking. He let me wander through initially on my own. He came back to inquire if I was doing ok and if I had questions. He was able to answer the questions I had, helped me realize the wonderful qualities it has, and was upfront about pricing

I came in looking for a dining room table. Mike there in less than a mintue asking what I was looking for. I explained the type and size table I was looking for. He said that he has just the table I was looking for and when to a table that was just that Exactly what I wanted! I am excited to get it set up at home. Thank you Mike.

My husband and I went into Ashley Furniture to look for some furniture for our new home and was greeted my salesman name Marco. From the beginning to the end it went smooth we found everything that we need for our new home and Marco was very nice and professional.

NO STAR…. BUYER BEWARE: I bought a $3000 couch. The delivery drivers damaged it and got it dirty when they delivered it. Ashley sent a technician out a month later to spray chemicals on it to clean it. The chemicals can make my couch smell, change color of the fabric, and soak into the couch cushions. They won’t replace the pieces that are damaged and dirty. The technician laughed and said the delivery drivers do this all the time. So if you don’t want damaged and dirty furniture do not buy from Ashley Furniture.

I went to Ashley looking for a new couch. I found just what I wanted with the help of Malcolm Wayne. I had a lot of questions and he answered everyone of them. I didn't feel pressured. I told him I was looking around different stores but asked for his business card. Needless to say, I couldn't find a better quality couch for a better deal. I returned about an hour later and bought a new couch! Malcolm was very personable and he made the purchasing process easy. I appreciate all of his help....I highly recommend! Thank You!

As a first-time homebuyer, my experience with Ashley Furniture has been nothing short of disappointing. I invested over $10,000 in furniture, only to face a series of frustrating issues from the start. To begin with, Ashley’s communication system was overwhelming, with their chatbot texting and calling relentlessly, sometimes placing orders for multiple delivery dates without clear explanations. Additionally, every representative I spoke with—whether in the office or on the phone—provided inconsistent and conflicting information, further complicating the entire process. When my master bedroom furniture arrived, I immediately noticed a significant issue: one of the drawers was stuck and wouldn’t slide out. Ashley’s response was frustrating, as they requested a photo of the malfunctioning drawer before proceeding with a claim—something that felt unnecessary and time-consuming. Fortunately, the situation was eventually escalated by a representative, and the issue was addressed. However, the problems didn’t stop there. Shortly after, I discovered that the full-size bed I ordered had screws that weren’t properly attached. To make matters worse, the queen-sized box spring I received didn’t match my order for a full-size box spring. It was also delivered unassembled, despite my order clearly stating that assembly was included for the entire set. When I attempted to assemble the box spring myself, I found that several screws were missing. I am still waiting for a $900 refund for a chest that was never delivered, which has now been delayed for over three weeks. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. The lack of clear communication, poor product quality, and delays in resolving issues have left me extremely dissatisfied with my purchase.

Don't order furniture from Ashley online. I had to pay $430+ for the return shipping when the product that got delivered was damaged. I was told I could not return the damaged product to an Ashley store. When I asked for reimbursement on the shipping costs, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I was responsible for it. Very poor customer service and a policy that makes 0 sense.

After a disappointing kitchen table & chairs purchase a year ago when the warranty company agreed to replace the ENTIRE set when only ONE chair was damaged, the in store credit worked like a charm for the purchase of another table set.

My original post was positive however after having issues with my purchase I have to change my review. The sectional sofa and ottoman was delivered and was way too big for my living room. It blocked the two entryways into the living room. I called and spoke with someone who told me they couldn't refund cash but I could do a re-select and someone would call me. A week went by and no one called so I called back and talked to someone who told me I couldn't do a re-select without sending pictures proving it didn't fit. It did fit...just not properly or proportionately. I asked to speak to a manager and she said one would call. They have never called. I will never buy at Ashley again. Ever. I have purchased from Ashley two different times in 10 years. Each time delivery has been a nightmare. This current time, they only put half my order on the truck and I found out the day off! I then rescheduled for another day and guess what! The order wasn’t on the truck again. They have done nothing to accommodate me and my next delivery date is over 2 weeks away! They offered for me to pick up at the distribution center which is 45 min away and only open when I work. I am NEVER buying from Ashley again.

I usually do not post reviews, but this place is complete trash. The delivery team is the worst part about it. I ordered in store a bed set this consisted of a bedframe, dresser, nightstand, and a mirror that is supposed to be attached to the dresser . It was set for home delivery And everything came except for the part I wanted the most the mirror. The delivery man brought everything in except for a mirror. He was not going to inform me that it was apparently on a whole Nother truck and would be supposedly coming later. The only reason he let me know that is because I asked myself where is the mirror that I paid for? he kept saying that his supervisor was bringing the mirror in another truck and will put it together himself. How does that even make any sense? He then had me confirm that the truck would bring the mirror later the same day and had me sign something. I then received an email after he left of a delivery confirmation on this delivery confirmation, it said that everything was delivered, including the mirror and then it had pictures of everything that was delivered yet there’s no picture of a mirror so why would you check that off and try to confirm it. What type of scammers is Ashley furniture hiring? we wait just to see if what he said was true and of course it wasn’t no other truck came so we proceeded to call the customer service line. at this point me and my grandmother are playing phone tag with these people because why do we have to call multiple times and why are we getting multiple different answers which are all a bunch of lies!!! one person is telling me that it is no longer coming today and that I now have to fill out a form because these delivery people lied. While another person is telling us that it is on its way and that the truck is still coming today to drop off the mirror that I spent MY MONEY on. as a delivery person is it that hard to just give me every single one of my items???! now I’m over here stressing these customer service people all they did was lie because nothing that they said was true and nothing that they said happened. We then tried to call the actual Ashley furniture store that I purchased the stuff at and the manager had an attitude and every time we try to talk and explain the situation we were cut off. I don’t know what type of people are a part of Ashley furniture but they are nothing but MONEY HUNGRY LIARS. These people do not care that your stuff will go missing. these people do not care that you are wasting your money and your time because I literally had to take a day off of work for this delivery just for everything not to be here??! I am stressed and I am irritated that nothing has been done.Will I ever get this mirror? I do not believe so either I need a refund or I need what I paid for NOW!!! BEWARE OF THIS LOW DOWN DIRTY COMPANY!! Update: They finally delivered the mirror but of course they still did something wrong because these people can do nothing right!! All I see is them scrurry out of my house and when I come to see the mirror I look over and one of my items is on the floor broken. Zero Stars. Buyer Beware. Please don't ever shop at Ashley Home Store in Castelton Indiana. This is the worst ran company I have ever dealt with. Partial furniture deliveries, stained furniture when delivered, they put a hole in my wall upon delivery, countless lies on when the rest of my furniture will be delivered. A human being will not call me back after several attempts on their horrible chat box feature. I was told by a human they would cancel my delivery of the remaining furniture items and come pick up the furniture out of my house and issue me a refund. Nope, the software can't understand that. I still gets texts that they want to deliver canceled items. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint. Please please please don't shop here.

Wrong chair delivered. Need to reorder the chair that was purchased as it is out of stock. Could take 3-4 weeks to deliver. Customer service was nice and doing all they can, but makes no sense why the wrong chair was promised and delivered. Mistakes happen but this is very annoying.

Just bought a house and looking for furniture and got recommended to come here. So we walked around the entire store for over half an hour, sat on many couches, took photos of couches we were interested in, and ignored by every worker. They look at us and walk away to help others. A few of them were even sitting down on couches laughing and joking. So I’d say they’re judging by looks. I didn’t even get a ‘hello’ or anything from anybody.

Was told that exterior damage was covered on the dining table we purchased and part of the $500 warranty we paid and come to find out that there are numerous exclusions that make it challenging to get anything covered. My visit was good. However when I asked for the product the Ashley app said was in stock at that store, I was informed it wasn’t. I still purchase it and I’m waiting for the delivery date.

Buyer Beware! Do not buy furniture from Ashley! All orders end up with an issue and customer service is absolutely terrible! We ordered an entire bedroom set in September which was delivered. However, there was a defective part that we were told could be replaced in 3-7 days. Based on this, we accepted the delivery. Now, over 2 months later, we have been given run around after run around and excuse after excuse, with no known date for resolution. We continue to sleep with the mattress on the floor and several thousand dollars worth of furniture not in use in corners of the bedroom. Unfriendly and unhelpful customer service personnel have no answers and act like they do not care and we are the problem. There is no follow-up and when you do call them, you wait forever to just be treated like crap. We are now trapped because we accepted the delivery - so supposedly no returns! Please spend your hard earned money someplace where the customer is a priority.

My work gave me a budget of $300 and the manager was so helpful and able to get me. A loveseat delivered to the office for that budget.

Back in September, I ordered a mattress. The order was repeatedly postponed over the course of two months. Sick of trying to schedule around their repeated rescheduling, I decided to cancel. Across several days I reached out to them through the only means that they will provide, which is via text message. I kept getting disconnected mid conversation with some automated system, before finally being able to cancel with them over the phone and get connected to a human being. I was advised not to worry about returning any of the complementary Labor Day special swag by the phone associate and that the billing account was closed. In the meantime, I have a new in box "mattress protector" for a mattress that I never received sitting in my office. I was billed $400 for it today. I called the store, and they told me all items are non-returnable. And then I was advised to call the issuing credit card company to dispute the charges, which can take "up to 60 days", and then the vendor has 45 days to do an investigation. I will be dealing with this probably throughout next year, and it has already impacted my credit score in the meantime, because that is how I was notified about this. This went from "I will wait until after the holiday season because I work in sales and can't schedule time to receive it" to "I will never in 1000 years to business with this company ever again" really fast.

I have purchased a buffet, kitchen table , couches and bedroom suite over the past 7 years. Always happy with their in store service and they are not overwhelming pushy for you to buy something.

Both Chris the floor salesman and Chris the manager went above and beyond to make my shopping experience pleasurable. I got all the help I needed while browsing, choosing, and eventually purchasing items. Chris even looked up a few items that weren’t on the showroom floor, and showed them to my kids (we were shopping for their bedrooms) when they were having trouble deciding on what they wanted. After my son’s first choice was noted as a discontinued item, Chris took his time to find something comparable in both style and price for us. I’ll be returning soon for my other furniture needs.

We purchased a sofa at the Castleton store. The sales associate was decent and we set up delivery with them at the time of purchase. The delivery date was essential due to having family from out of town. 2 days later we were contacted to set up delivery which was different than one we had when we purchased the sofa. The customer service rep was rude and said the salesman lied about delivery and they don’t work that way and ended the conversation before we were even finished. Now we must loose time from work to be here for delivery if we decide to take it. Ashley needs to get their procedures and staff on the same page before I will shop there again.

We bought a couch from here little over a year ago. I have called multiple times and they are zero help on our issue when I repeat over and over again what our issue is with this very expensive purchase they want me to do the work and the individual who sold us this couch did not tell us that this item pills extremely bad and will look so old after a year and that he recommends purchasing a warranty because of that he acted like that warranty wouldn’t cover that and it’s just cover pet damage, stains, holes. So we opted out as we knew we would not have that issue. Then a few months go by and it starts to pill and so I called and they were zero help and were asking me to do all the work or go purchase a fabric shaver. The quality is awful. Very dissatisfied and will never be buying furniture from Ashley again and will make sure to not recommend them.

I will never do business with Ashley Furniture again. We visited the Castleton location last weekend and ended up finding exactly what we were looking for and had a smooth in store experience completing our order. Delivery, however, has been a complete nightmare. We were told it would be delivered yesterday (Saturday) and were given a window of 3:30-6:30. They provided a tracking link to get an ETA for delivery. The time kept getting later and later and I ended up calling around 2:30 when I saw the delivery time was listed as 9pm. The representative told me that there was an alert that the truck was having a mechanical problem and that she would “see if they could get the couch onto another truck to get it to us” and that she would call me back. She texted me a bit later saying there wasn’t an ETA but that a truck was going out and she would let me know when they had a timeframe. I never heard from her again. Finally at 7:45pm I received a call from someone else and was informed that my couch would not be delivered and that it would be delivered today (Sunday). I received another text with a new delivery window of 11-2. Once again, the time continued to get later and later with no communication from Ashley Furniture or the delivery team. They finally arrived around 4:50pm and we had received no notice that they were on their way. The delivery drivers were nice enough, however they handled the furniture very roughly and I was worried they were going to knock something over with how quickly they were moving and not taking into account the other furniture we had in the room. Had I known that this experience was going to be this terrible, I never would have paid for the “premium” delivery service or shopped at Ashley Furniture in the first place - this has been the worst delivery service I have ever had. Overall I’m the most disappointed that we wasted our entire weekend waiting for our furniture to be delivered with absolutely no communication from Ashley. We had thought about looking for more furniture at this store because it was such a nice experience initially, but now we will be going elsewhere for all other furniture we purchase.

I had a wonderful experience at the Ashley Furniture store buying a sectional. The Employee who assisted me was wonderful, kind and extremely helpful and I left with a sectional I was really happy with!

My partner and I just bought a new house and need, essentially, all new furniture. We went to the Labor Day sale this weekend and Ashley's prices were 100% the best in town with all the combined deals. Michael Park was our helpful sales guru and he made the process so seamless, easy and (dare I say?) fun! He was the perfect balance of "go explore and I'll check in with you" and "here is something similar I think you may also like." He also was constantly looking for pieces online/in stock that he thought we may like better or would work better for our space. He was thoughtful and polite and not at all pushy. He turned an overwhelming process into a day of fun. We will be back!

It would be nice if you could take fabric samples home to see how they look in your room, so that was disappointing. Hopefully the delivery will go well. Ordering was quick and easy.

Edited after delivery. We are extremely unhappy with the delivery process. Our home is in a new neighborhood and their delivery system sent the driver to the wrong location 3 times. First delivery had one item damaged at warehouse and not included, one item the wrong color, a desk damaged and a wobbly table. Second delivery, I had to drive to where the truck was to have him follow me to the house (mind you, this is delivery #2). This delivery both couches were damaged and we refused them. Table wasn’t wobbly but had a scratch, but we accepted it. 3rd delivery was cancelled by them when I tried to tell them their location was not correct (address IS correct). They refused to deliver items even though they were on the truck. No help from customer service and twice a manager was supposed to call and never did. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. At this point I don’t think we are ever getting the couches and will be cancelling a several thousand dollar order due to their extreme ineptitude and failure to deliver undamaged goods. We went in looking for furniture for our new house. Gigi greeted us and gave us the sale info then left us to wander the store. We found several items we wanted to purchase and Gigi, along with store managers Toby and Michael were all so helpful answering all our questions and providing pricing. We were very pleased with our experience and would definitely shop there again.

I purchased a nice matching sofa, love seat and chair to replace my old set. Devin Walker, the sales representative was courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions regarding the quality of service and product. A few days after the transaction I had to revise my delivery date after selling my old furniture. Devin was not as prompt in assisting and the revised date still left me waiting a week for delivery with no furniture. The mark of a good sales representative is not how one treats a customer prior to the sales closure but how the customer is treated after the transaction is completed. I revised my review for Devin to 3 of 5 stars.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. READ ALL THE RECENT BAD REVIEWS BEFORE GOING THERE!! Not worthy of 1 Star! GO TO GODBY FURNITURE FOR EXCELLENCE SERVICE! We went to buy living room furniture in Mid-April and made our selection. It is now mid-July. We received calls & scheduled delivery THREE TIMES. Yesterday thinking the third time was a charm….. It was anything but…It was a Total Nightmare! We were instructed to remove existing furniture as they would not. My husband and I are Senior Citizens and needed help removing the existing furniture-which we did prior to delivery time. The delivery came and was only PART OF OUR ORDER AND WAS HORRIBLY DAMAGED. WE WERE INFORMED THEY KNEW IT WAS DAMAGED WHEN IT CAME TO THEIR WAREHOUSE YET THEY TRIED TO DELIVER IT ANYWAY….WHO DOES THIS? Of course we could not accept it in the damaged condition. EVEN THE DELIVERY GUY WAS SHOCKED & DISAPPOINTED THEY NEW IT WAS DAMAGED BUT SENT IT OUT ANYWAY. NOW we were left with no furniture and no place to sit. I spoke with ASHLEY FURNITURE AND THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP US. EVEN PROMISED TO CALL US BACK AND DID NOT. My Mid-70’s husband and myself have No Place to it or to sit on the floor with ABSOLUTELY NO REMEDY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. SO WE WENT TO GODBY FURNITURE AND THEY WERE KIND, UNDERSTANDING AND ACCOMMODATING. THANKS TO GODBY FURNITURE we will have furniture this week. WE WILL NEVER USE ASHLE FURNITURE AGAIN. I regret to share that my experience at this store was disappointing. The customer service provided by the store manager was below expectations, rude and unprofessional. Furthermore, the furniture I purchased exhibited numerous defects, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, I found the warranty policy misleading, as it required a substantial additional expenditure of $500 to be eligible to use it, which felt unreasonable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store.

While I gave the in-store experience 5 stars, the delivery experiences makes me question if I will return… We were supposed to have 3 items delivered today (the 4th is delayed). We were given a 4 hour window for delivery. It continually kept getting pushed back. 1 hour after the delivery window, we received a text saying the driver was approx. 15 minutes away. We tracked the driver as he drove to the other side of the city and sat in a gas station parking lot for over 30 minutes… One hour after we received that text, I called the Guest Response Team and was told I’d get a call back. No one called back. 2.5 HOURS LATER, I get an automated text saying the delivery driver arrived. I checked the locator — he was still on the other side of town. Hopefully, someone will call soon so this can be resolved and I can update this review from 1 star to something more positive?

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered a whole bedroom set, showed up without the dresser with no warning after telling me it was all in stock. Scheduled delivery for the following week for the dresser and they showed up with a damaged product. Scheduled delivery for the following week, mind you this is now 3 weeks from the original delivery. They come back a second time with another damaged dresser. No one would answer the phone to the point i had to go in to the store to get an answer about when and if I’ll get a dresser that’s not damaged. That’s when the manager promised me some type of refund. We eventually get the dresser but no refund ever came. Called the store 5 times before someone picked up & then they said he’d call back, he never did. Quality assurance is obviously not of concern with this place or their employees who are not very nice or helpful. Not to mention the $300 delivery fee you pay just for them to deliver broken pieces not once but twice. Save yourself a headache and don’t purchase from them.

My experience was unexpected but it turned out to be one of the most satisfying sales encounters in making a purchase. We worked with Jen and she was amazing. She has a thorough command and knowledge of her product. Very personable.

We had purchased a furniture set in February and were told part of our order was back ordered until May. When May came we were then told via text message that our order was pushed out until June. We had already gotten rid of our old furniture anticipating the arrival of the new set now being stuck with nothing. You only get an automated system when calling the store which is useless. We then went into the store to talk to someone who then told us that it showed no text messages were sent and part of our order would arrive mid May and the other the beginning of June. It’s frustrating that we had paid the entire amount for the set when we have been waiting over 3 months! There has been no communication whatsoever. I will not be doing any future business with Ashley furniture after this experience. Funny how the only reviews they respond to are the 5 star reviews.

The furniture is nice but my husband and I actually did not end up buying from this place. The salesperson was VERY pushy and seemed to hover the whole time we were there. We also informed him that we are new homeowners and proceeded to show us some of the most expensive items in the store. When we’d try to look at other things that we found interesting or liked he’d try to redirect us to another pricy item. We did find a bedroom set we liked but didn’t want to go back due to this certain salesperson.
