Excellent customer service from the moment we walked into the store to the time our furniture was delivered. Natasha was absolutely amazing and made sure the process went as smoothly as possible for us. Prior to delivery, I was able to reach Natasha with questions and she was able to assist. Communication was excellent regarding our delivery and the delivery team was also excellent. We purchased furniture for our bedroom, living room, and dining room and they got it delivered and set up in as little as one hour. We are so pleased with everything we bought and the service we received. I cannot thank Natasha and the whole team enough!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Wayne H. at the Merrillville location. He was great. Not only was he extremely patient, he helped me color coordinate the pieces for the living and bedroom. Now for the unfortunate part. My furniture was scheduled to be delivered at different times which wasn't an issue because not all was available right away. The first delivery went off without an issue, however the 2nd was not so great. I paid for all my items to be delivered to my unit...not in the entrance hall. For one I didn't get a text or email reconfirming the delivery window. For second the item was a HUGE area rug that was a little difficult for me to get upstairs to my unit on the 3rd floor...yes there's an elevator but I have to get it to the elevator, off it, and to my unit correct. For third I received not notification that one of the items that was scheduled to be delivered for the 2nd delivery, was no longer available. I had to call customer assistance to find this out. Suffice it to say I was irritated so I called and just asked them to cancel the remaining items. All in all, it wasn't the worst and I'm happy with the items I did get. I hope everything holds up for a respectable amount of time.

We bought a dining set from here and although the customer service while choosing the set was good, the problems afterwards outweighed the good. When my husband went to pick up at the warehouse over an hour away, they would not allow him to pick it up since his name wasn’t listed even though I was told at the store that’s all he would need was the phone number on the order. Even after showing ID with the same address they were unwilling. I couldn’t get a hold of the store and continued to be routed to customer service. Finally after 3 calls Alana was willing to help me by placing a note within the order that allowed my husband to pick up. Then I also realized that the guy who placed our order overcharged me. Instead of ordering a set with the table and 6 chairs all together or the chairs in pairs costing $250, he ordered the table and then 6 separate chairs costing $200 per chair. After being told 3 times that I would need to call the store and speak to the store manager, who I couldn’t reach, again Alana helped me out, even following through on her promise to call me back the next day to rectify the situation. I am awaiting a refund so we’ll see how that goes. Just beware if you choose to pick up yourself and be aware of how the sales associate places the order to benefit the store and/or themselves.

I was looking for a sofa. The gentleman that took care of me was very kind. The delivery men were excellent. They were very professional, took their shoes off before entering my home which I appreciated so much. I would definitely recommend Ashley Furniture and their delivery service!!!🚚 Thank you for you’re excellent customer service!!

Definitely more affordable than the La-Z-Boy brand and the quality is amazing with a 5 year warranty! This is comfortable and classy adding that cozy inviting charm to my family room and just in time for the big game Sunday.. The sales people were attentive and listened to our needs and concerns. The delivery drivers were excellent and proficient, very friendly with great communication skills. I will definitely purchase more furniture in the future when I need it

Very great customer service

I left a review a month ago. They still took my money and refuse to give me my furniture. They had a dad and kid deliver they probably found off Craigslist. The kid dropped it and the dad tried to hide they broke my furniture. Now Ashley ignores it, won't refund or delivery my furniture.

I had so much fun in your store. I never leave my home town of laporte, but the hubby talked me into making the hour drive to visit your store along with other stores. I went to other store before yours, and was not met with excitement and a feeling of family. I think every member of your staff help my husband and myself. Your staff members even cuddled on furniture with me, while I waited for my husband. I only came in for a living room set. And your sales staff upsold me an additional $500. In cooling bed coverings and pillows. I will share what a GREAT experience i had at your store, with anyone I hear is looking for furnishings. KEEP UP THAT STELLER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I sent my family to shop for a chair. The service they got was decent. They had 2 issues. 1- the salesperson was ultra pushy towards getting some sort of payment plan. We were either going to buy it outright or not get it. They didn't need to keep hearing about a payment plan. 2- the chair we saw online wasn't available and there, also, wasn't any way to see the fabric. The store needs to have other furniture in the same fabric for touching and color matching or have a swatch sheet. We based the chair purchase on online information. I wish they had waited until the chair was in store. The recliner doesn't come very high. It's not even even with the seat. I will end up ordering a special cushion too. So more information needs to be at the store when the actual item is not available. Delivery was available and they were very helpful when they came

Sales people make the experience un enjoyable. It’s hard to just shop and think about what we want when every 5 minutes we are asked if we have any questions. If I had a question I’d ask. At one point we got hounded about buying a mattress yet I was there for a couch. We were extremely close to just leaving and buying a couch elsewhere.

The store employee was great but it's been almost 2 months and I still don't have my couch. The delivery guy came put with a kid. They broke my couch. Then the Write the wrong information on the ticket and I still don't have it because Ashley furniture won't listen to me the customer. I will NEVER buy from them again. Especially with them bringing children out to deliver furniture which will get dropped. I'm lucky I even noticed I'm sure they would of tried to hide it

Drove an hour to their store after looking through their web site for a big man recliner which they had on there web page. Because I wanted to see it & look it over good before buying it. They did not have it in stock. So I had to purchase it site unseen before driving an hour back home. Won't be delivered for a week so I can't review the chair, but their service to order was swift friendly.

Our salesperson Diana was great but now that we’ve made the purchase I will reserve review until my order is complete. I feel that part could have gone better. No one said there were issues with delivery etc when we started. So now we have to wait and it’s been 3 days and we’ve heard nothing regarding delivery or non delivery. Picking up at the Romeoville distribution center was a complete nightmare. There was no organization and we sat there for 2 1/2 hours waiting to pick up an item.

Great customer service

Hello! We had found a coffee table and end table set we liked, and viewed in person . After some discussion, we decided to proceed with the purchase . Even though there was no record of my husband nor I in the computer system (we have purchased items several times prior), we had recently received a 20% off coupon for in store only. We wanted to obtain the discount, so drove in a snow storm to our local store thirty minutes away to purchase. We were greatly kindly by staff upon entering. We connected with a floor salesman to proceed. He proceeded to work up the order, however, there was a large discrepancy in the online today versus my in store goal that included the 20% off. The prices in the store were much higher. Thankfully, the store manager was able to correct and offer us the online price, however, we were then unable to use additional 20% off that prompted us to go IN to the store. The delivery dates in store were also several weeks later than the ones offered on line. Because we ordered in the store, we will not have our furniture for the event we host on 12/21. Another significant concern is the difference in return policy on line versus in store (I missed this until after purchase was made). While I fully intend to love our new pieces, there are always possibilities that spemthing doesn’t work right. I fear not having a return option should that issue arise. Bottom line, we could’ve remained cozy in our own home rather than venture out in the snow storm, simply clicked order, eliminated price adjusting, and gotten furniture sooner with a more flexible return policy. Lesson learned to skip the time spent in the showroom. We anticipate many more furniture purchases after the holidays, and now am questioning whether we should shop elsewhere. Very thankful the storeroom employees were are least able to adjust the price, however, that doesn’t help return options.

I’m a little disappointed - I found a furniture set I really liked and was willing to purchase it on the spot, but, found it significantly cheaper online (like 2K cheaper).. and they were willing to price match but were not willing to offer 48-60 months 0% financing which I don’t think is right. I would have walked out with purchasing it. They have prided themselves in the 0% financing option but wouldn’t offer it on a price match situation? Not sure I’d shop at Ashley Merrillville again, they lost a customer that would have purchased the set today..

The visit was a good experience but I changed my mind about picking up the merchandise. I tried several times and different numbers to place an order for delivery but kept getting sent to voicemail. Finally I decided to drive 30 minutes back to the store. Did place and paid for delivery but I don’t think I should’ve been put thru the trouble of going back. Sales associate at the store checked the phone and said “oh the volume was low “😡

I purchased multiple pieces of furniture from this location including a couch tv stand chairs and tables. During delivery the delivery team damaged my home. They deeply gouged my hardwood floors my walls as well as my staircase. I immediately contacted them and filed a claim with them. About a week later I had some guy who barely spoke English reach out to me offering me $100 dollar credit while insisting he didn’t do the damage. I told him that was unacceptable due to the major gouges in the hardwood. He then said he would have a “service” provider reach out to me. That never happened. Now we are weeks out and I’ve received a email saying they closed the claim with no liability on there end. This is completely unacceptable and I will never be doing business with them again.

When I declined a manipulated offer and canceled the sale, my already-open account was closed less than 24 hours later without notice. I did not apply for new credit. I maintain multiple open tradelines in good standing and could have paid cash at the counter. This was store-level retaliation, not a credit-worthiness issue. Ashley is running a quiet dual system: in-store they tout “60-month 0%,” online the base prices are lower with shorter promos. Functionally, the “0%” gets priced into the sticker. In my case they refused the 60-month term and said the online price applied only with a six-month promo—an undisclosed financing premium by another name. That is deceptive financing. Credit advertising must state only terms that are actually available and must disclose the real finance cost. See Truth in Lending / Regulation Z on advertising and disclosures (12 C.F.R. §§ 1026.16, 1026.24). It’s also an unfair or deceptive act under the Indiana Deceptive Consumer Sales Act (IC 24-5-0.5-3). Closing a valid, existing account immediately after I refused a manipulated offer is a retaliatory adverse action requiring proper notice under ECOA / Regulation B (12 C.F.R. § 1002.9). Bottom line: transparent pricing or cash would have solved this in seconds. Instead, management weaponized my account to punish a customer who insisted on real numbers. I’ve preserved documentation.This matter has been referred to my outside general counsel. We intend to file complaints with regulators. Due to this stores personal retaliation against me, if I can take action in ANY way, I WILL! It’s not about the card, it’s the principle! You should’ve been relieved I was willing to drop it. I didn’t go online and blast you or badmouth you. Just cancel it and be done.BUT YOU JUST TOOK THIS TOO FAR. WOW!

My mom, dad, and I had a truly excellent experience with Diana Rosales. She has a really kind, honest, and genuinely compassionate approach that hit multiple home runs with my elderly immigrant parents. Because Diana is such a team player, she sent out Khaled, who was oddly dressed in a medical lab coat (this seemed a bit like a theatrical/manipulative sales maneuver). Although Khaled was enthusiastic and somewhat informative, he was a little too pushy. He tried to pressure us to buy things way out of our price range, asking me "Why would you care about saving money?" However, Diana's honesty was the antidote to Khaled's overly aggressive approach, and due to Diana's gentle, non-desperate professional demeanor, my mom also purchased a brand new recliner (which she paid cash for) for the first time in her 79-year-old life, in addition to a $3,000 mattress. My mom now wants to buy other furniture for her house from Diana specifically. Thank you for making such a wonderful impression on my mom, Diana! Oh and last but not least, we really appreciated the four Ashley sales people/employees who helped to unscrew the really tall legs from the posturpedic bed frame that my mom wanted to try because she is very short and wheelchair dependent. Overall we had a really wonderful experience at Ashley Furniture in Merrillville, IN, and would highly recommend this company and this location. We hope the furniture delivery and service will be positive too.

I purchased a power recliner from Ashley Furniture in Highland, IN. I had it delivered, but when I sat on it for a day or so I didn't care for it, I didn't like the power recliner part. I went in to the store and told them I would like to exchange it for a manual one. Due to I wasn't satisfied with this recliner. I was told all sales are final, they only return the item if it was defective. I would not recommend buying anything from Ashley's, make sure you read the fine print. If you are not happy with a product, I believe you have a right to return or exchange the item. I welcome a response from Ashley headcorters.

We found just what we needed at Ashley Furniture. Ashley is always our first choice when purchasing furniture. The customer service was excellent, the associate expert Jenny was informative and very pleasant. In these times when good customer service is not offered at most businesses it was refreshing to experience shopping at Ashley Furniture.

Stayed there basically all day trying to decide what to buy. Never felt rushed and ended up with what I think was a good deal.

I went in with my fiancé to look for couches yesterday and got approached to look at mattresses. The person helping us out came to us after testing a few mattresses and said “if you’re not buying anything please leave because there’s a scoreboard and I can’t go help any other customers if you stay, you’re holding me back from making sales”. We’re serious buyers and that made me not want to give this place my business. Don’t recommend places that look at you like dollar signs instead of genuinely trying to help you.

Do not shop here. I spent over $3500.00 for a damaged dining room table! I called the Merrillville store and was told all the managers are in a meeting until after 8 pm. I called at 1 pm. A 7 hour meeting?! No, unacceptable that I have to leave my job to handle this!

Horrible company. Don't have what they say they do and even after you pay for it. Then when it's supposed to be delivered on your delivery date some of it is on backorder...after you were told it was in stock when you paid for it. Now everything that was ordered, and it is a lot, all have different delivery dates. Never again!!

The sales person was wonderful and really sweet. She also gave me a discount, because the price of the items were way more than I wanted to pay. I appreciated that, however, after spending $1,000.00 on a mattress, they attempted to deliver it today, IN A BOX! No, they never informed me that it was a bed-in-a-box. My son already has a bed-in-a-box, and I told them he needed a normal mattress. Needless to say, I refused delivery. Of course, it takes 5 business days for my refund. Unbelievable! Unacceptable! I told them I will NEVER shop there again. I'm disappointed beyond words! Not to mention, while speaking with a lady on the phone that the delivery driver dialed for me, to be able to speak with her, I wasn't done speaking, and she hung up on me! Wow! Never again!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service and delivery. They take your money promise a delivery date at straight up lie!!! Then they also false advertise delivery dates online too. Probably in your best interest not to order or buy from Ashley furniture. I'll never purchase from them again!!

A very pleasant experience. Khaled our associate greeted us promptly but was not pushy, in fact gave us all the time we wanted without pressuring at all. Once we decided on our purchase he was thorough yet concise with all information about our product (rocker recliner). He gave us all the information on purchase details and options. Once again he did not push anything, and his approach was very professional. Another plus, we could have had delivery as soon as 3 days which impressed us. My wife and I believe Ashley does have quality furniture; we have multiple purchases from Ashley and have not been disappointed. Decent pricing and great service is a nice combination. I realize I mentioned this earlier but I can't over emphasize the importance of having the freedom to have some space and make choices on our time versus having someone hovering over you. Good job, Khaled and Ashley.

Went in to look for a bedroom set. Sales guy was pretty good. Not overbearing. I picked out some furniture and when we were going over pricing, he said I would save several hundred dollars with their financing. I stated several times that I did not want any protection plans. When I got the invoice, not only was there an almost $900 charge for the protection plan, there was no discount for the financing. Do not like those kind of sales tactics. Then when I called to cancel, they said they had a two -person cancellation process, but the people who do the second part did not come in until 10:00. The lady told me someone would call. Of course, no one did. So I had to go through the whole process the next day, but this time I waited until after 10:00. I am still having some of the furniture delivered. We will see how that goes. Probably won’t go back though.

I was really happy to find a better quality dresser for a reasonable price and my salesperson actually compared the online price and it was 100 dollars less so thank you Daniel K for the excellent work!!! The only small glitch is the financing for 6 months is supposed to get you an additional 18 percent discount but only applied to the store price, not the online price but it was still a great deal and way less hassle than the original plan which was to order the dresser from another online retailer because it came in a million pieces and it was damaged when it arrived! Ashley's going to deliver it with white glove service so if there is any issues they just take it right back. Way easier and less hassle!!!

VERY UNHAPPY with customer service. Went to pick up a desk I bought in showroom on clearance. Perfect condition. Marked down because misordered. I was so excited.. Staff 100% dented during loading process. It was dark when we loaded. I saw dent as soon as I loaded into my room. I hate to say it but customer service is better at Wayfair and Amazon. Ashley furniture kept pushing blame and did nothing except for reimburse $50 so I could buy my own repair kit. Will not go back and I have told this story to many who will also not buy from Ashley Furniture.

Oh, this is a franchise. They only deal in the higher eend of Ashley furniture. I wasn't buying anything, but I was with a friend and had an ad that they were interested in. The sales lady said they deal with that quality. I walked out after all the rudeness that popped out her mouth. I believe her name was brandy or sandy. I was irritated with her remarks.

Loved the style of the item we purchased. However, stunned at the high price for what is essentially a plastic table made in China. Very overpriced for the quality received. Tabletop is wood-look plastic, drawer construction is not dovetail. And then white glove delivery is an additional $79.99? For a $399 table? Further, the salesman was gruff and spelled my name wrong. Said nothing when I pointed out the misspelling and did nothing to change it. I was also not able to read the terms and conditions of what I was signing because the tablet had a poor wifi connection. Very disappointing experience. We won't shop here.again.

Delivery team courteous and professional but did not remove or cover shoes to access upper level with new carpeting. I was told at the store that the crew who delivered the mattress would haul the old one out and that there was no need to cover it. Crew told me that we need to cover mattress and call for pick up. It's not the stores fault that my delivery was horrible the first attempt but the second attempt was a little better. Even though I had to send one item back for damage and then after we went to move dresser and chest of drawers up to room we didn't recieve the hardware or legs for them so nowni have to wait 5 to 7 days for those to be shipped to my home.

I’m really happy with the furniture I just bought. It looks great and is much more affordable than some of the other places. Nickie, the saleswoman, was great when we were shopping. I brought my two pre-teen daughters to help me pick out my new furniture for my living room. She gave us plenty of space to shop. She was there when we needed her and then faded into the background. She also treated my daughters with dignity and respect which I really appreciated after the salesman at Value Furniture made us all extremely uncomfortable. She honestly was the deciding factor that kept us in the building and I’m very grateful for her help and happy with my furniture.

It seems like the days of high pressure sails are over for this place which is great! Honestly, years ago I would dread going here because of this. I just left and my experience was waaaaay better. Sylvia approached us, asked what we needed, pointed is in the right direction, said she'd be around if we need help, then gave us space! When we did need help we were also greeted by Nor, the store manager, as there were some price discrepancies with other retailers. They were able to get us a very competitive price and gave us no pressure to buy at all. The customer service was what sold us. The experience was leaps and bounds better than a few years ago and also better than their competitor, Bob's, which was right down the street.

Terrible experience trying to purchase a recliner. I came in the merrillville store with the exact sku number of the recliner from their website to replace the one that had broken. I was not greeted by any of the sales staff no one was at the customer service desk and I proceeded to walk the entire sales floor looking for the recliner. Fast forward about 15 mins I find a sales lady lounging in a loveseat toward the back of the store. I asked her if they had this recliner or if it would have to be ordered. She informed me she didn’t know and took about ten mins to find someone to look up the item. Mind you there was no other customers in the store. The sales associate returns to inform me that the have it in stock at their warehouse and that it will be $687 plus $100 delivery fee, on their website it clearly stated $459 free delivery to my address. She goes to find a manager and comes back to tell me they can sell it to me for the $450 plus delivery and couldn’t understand that I was showing her the price from THEIR WEBSITE, after pulling up the item on my phone showing her and explaining the price difference she finally agrees to sell it to me for the advertised price on their website. Then comes the 25 mins of the sales woman entering all of my information in to their computer having me sigh twice the invoice printing the receipt and then forgetting to take my payment. Now she restarts entering my info again and this time takes my debit card to pay for the item. Why is all of this mess art why am I not able to just purchase the chair at the price you advertise without going back and forth for over an hour? Horrible waste of time! The only reason I went to the store was because I was looking to pick it up today and take it home instead wasted an hour! This is why stores go out of business terrible customer service and marking up items with misleading prices. I could have just ordered this from my living room and avoided this whole mess! I bought both of my previous living room sets from Ashley and never again!

This is our second purchase with Ashley Furniture in 2 years. Our most recent purchase was with salesman Brad Cavanaugh who was highly knowledgeable and helpful in every sense. We loved the service he provided and because of him we will definitely be back for our next room!

The associate at the store was nice and informative, unfortunately the delivery didn’t fair as well. The gentleman wouldn’t take my mattress and box spring as stipulated in the white glove delivery order. I got someone else to do that for me. The backboard was missing the hardware to apply. The delivery associate just told me to go get some screws for it. I assumed that it was their job to put the bed together. I just was a bit confused why a product would be sent without the hardware to install it.Called the company and was sent the hardware to put it together instead. Went to Ace hardware and got what I needed to attach the backboard. On the first delivery with the table and chairs went ok I guess. Unfortunately the chair legs were uneven and the chairs would wobble a bit. Again, went to a store and picked up some felt pads to help compensate, seems to be ok now. My remodeling is finished for now and I told the salesman at the store I would definitely keep Ashley’s in mind for mine future endeavors in my house and would definitely tell other people as well. Good experience. Demo chair was saddle tan and after I got home wasn't sure color would fit in with the rest of my furniture. When they delivered it they delivered it in chocolate brown it worked out beautifully. Hope they dropped off the right chair. Will consider Ashley for any other furniture purchases. I went there with my father To get him a chair. He had gone there earlier in the day and did not make his final decision. I did not like the idea that the sales people were all over him and us. I did not appreciate that. There were no deals after a black friday time had ended. He is a return customer for ashley furniture. There were no deals for cash customers. And the sales people were not nice. They were all very crabby. And to me, the prices were high and the quality Was OK not great.We could not have his chair shipped to store to pick up. You have to have it delivered. And you have to wait twelve days to receive it. So he has to pay an extra hundred dollars for delivery. It was Not an option. So add a hundred dollars to every item in the store when you go there. That is horrible.It should be included in the price. Especially For a return customer. Delivery should have been free. I know I will not recommend it or go there myself to purchase furniture. Ashley needs to review their policies And be nicer and kinder to the elderly.

Ashley has quality furniture. Quality super nice sales associates. We were shopping for a couch and mattress. My wife already had the one she wanted picked out. Patricia was nice and greeted us as soon as we walked in. Was there but not overbearing. Natasha helped us with a super knowledgeable demonstration of their Tempurpedic beds and bases. Ashley should feel lucky to have such great sales people. Ashley is not cheap but you get what you pay for. Solid furniture that lasts.

We were sold items that arrived defective. The delivery guy LIED to me about the best way to resolve that. Once you swipe your card, the store is done with you. They got their sale, and their customer service is OVER. They won’t help rectify any solution and when they do, it’s empty promises. TRUST ME…go somewhere else. DO NOT waste your time or your money. We bought our stuff from Ashley in July and we are STILL going through trying to get all the pieces we bought.

I purchase a living room set. I was told if I waited 20 days I will have all my porches delivered at once. The time came they told me that they didn’t have only one set. No one did not gave me a curiosity called to say that did not have the complete order. After dropping off one piece of my set. I had to call them two weeks later to see what was going on with my order . costumer service is horrible. 👎👎👎👎👎 never will go back or recommend any one.

I ordered furniture for my house in December of 2023. I move back into my house in the end of August, I'm told at the begining of July the order is ready to be scheduled. I receive a text message that half the order is now not ready and needs to be rescheduled. I currently live several states away from where the furniture is being delivered and I had to set up arrangements for months ahead of time to have someone there to recieve everything. I'm on the phone with support for an hour before they say theres nothing they can do for me. I dont understand how the order is being delayed when I purchased the furniture 9 months ago. I'm holding up my end of the deal by giving Ashley 10 grand and they are kicking the can down the road and being nothing but wildly inconvienient from delivery to customer support. I wish I would have listened to friends and family and never bought from Ashley Furniture.

I had been very frustrated with your company after buying a bedroom set . After only 2 months, one of the slats that hold mattress up snapped. Of course, I had purchased insurance but when I contacted customer service, I got the run around. After numerous calls and chats with AI , they said they could send me 19 dollars. Certainly I was upset with this and face up til today when I decided to go in store and met with manager JAKE who was able to get me a whole new piece and have it delivered to my house. I am very pleased now Thank you

Had a wonderful time being able to walk around with my dad and check out the designs at this spacious Ashley store. I also work for Ashley but a few states away and love seeing how others display and design. We were greeted by Helen and instantly felt at ease after speaking with her. My dad loved laying in mattresses! From Stearns, TempurSealy, the ever-famous Ashley Bed-in-A-Box, seeing what bedroom collection he’d like and kitchen table. Many beautiful choices! The financing options are clear as day with tags, definitely making it easier to envision all the rooms I could fill at the monthly breakdown portion. The Consultants, Sleep specialist and Visual that I was able to meet today were sweet and super down to earth. We also got a little token (window sill plant accessory) to take home with us as a great memory. If I get anyone from my direction moving towards the 219, I’ll recommend they visit this Ashley!

We shopped at Ashely for a couch ottoman and love seat, we added the extended warranty. It came out to about 3200. We think the quality is decent, but found two small tears in ottoman and love seat. We have had to place multiple calls to get the replacement fabric for the items. Between waiting for those items to come and it’s the 3rd phone call to schedule. Their systems for how to contact them is so far removed that it is nearly impossible to talk to the right person about the right thing. After trying to get this resolved from July, I know now I will never shop there again. Very disappointed.

Delivery was terrible, the movers got the furniture dirty when they unpacked everything in my garage, Ashley didn't honor the solution they provided to make up for the dirty/scraped furniture, even after jumping thru hoops to make a claim thru the automated system. The manager at the store could not help. He also kept telling me to use their automated system. I'll never shop there again.

Good buying experience not so delivery experience

Worst customer service. Argued for weeks about being 2k over charged. Then told not to make a payment, all correspondence will be email as they will investigate. Never received email, the received a letter about making a payment, but charged a late payment. Then turned around and stated they didn’t have my email. About two months to get it corrected.

This was the best furniture buying experience. Tim was our salesman and was wonderful, and the store manager Nora (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was just an absolutely amazing person to do business with. They got a us a great deal and you can tell that they really care for the customers and want to help as best they can. I could not be happier with this experience, and we will definitely be back the next time we need something.

We had a great in store experience with excellent customer service from Helen. It felt like she really wanted to help us meet our needs, not just make a sale. Sure, online purchases may be cheaper at times—but you can’t beat the experience of getting to test out products. Plus—I’d rather a salesperson get some money for the hard work they put in! We are so excited for our new furniture to come in this week. We felt like the prices were fair and right within our budget, and we were impressed with the quality.

I went to purchase a bedroom set during the memorial day weekend. On the website they offered a 30% discount. Not true. On the website they offered a cooler cup/tumbler. Not true. The salesman quoted me a price however I paid more than what he quoted. Not happy be aware 😕!

I went in to buy two recliners, and I thought the process would be pretty quick, but it seemed like it took quite a while. However, everyone was nice about it and apparently they were still getting used to a new payment system so that was the reason for the delays. Also the guy helping me out gave me a few discounts to make things a bit cheaper which I appreciated. The main lady who was helping me was very nice and I've been in there to deal with her multiple times now at this point. All the stuff in their store is nice, and the folks are nice and helpful..waayyy nicer than the snobs at La Z Boy who said to me "you're gonna need a bigger chair since you're a heavier dude"..I thought that was so RUDE! Ashley is the way to go for your furniture needs, recommended for sure!

New system at the store for checking out took way to long. Tim was wonderful but the new system sucks. We waited about 40 minutes just to check out.

My bed of one and a half years broke yesterday from regular use and the $639 warranty that we purchased can't do anything for us. I advise to read those terms carefully. So when the extended warranty couldn't do anything for us, I called Ashley for a next step and they offered to send a technician which will cost us. I do not understand how a bed breaks in less than two years and how they think that is okay. Here I thought I was getting better quality product but we were wrong. I've had an ikea bed frame for 10+ years and it is still in great shape. I will never shop at any Ashley's again.

Found a piece of furniture on Clearance, for an incredible deal and got an even better deal upon purchasing it. Timothy was a very helpful salesperson. Will definitely be back.

We needed a lift recliner chair asap. Salesperson and manager went out of their way to make calls to get the chair delivered quicker. Not sure it will actually arrive earlier but I appreciate they are trying.

Excellent, the associate/manager was knowledgeable about the furniture I was looking for and made excellent suggestions including what would go with what. I had initially wanted to go to Lazy-boy but they were closed and Ashley was right next to it so I stopped in. I have more items to purchase and Ashley Merrillville is on the top of my list. Excellent service, product knowledge, and interior decorating suggestions.

We left and checked out four other stores before coming back to Ashley to finalize our sale. Best yet, our new recliner will be at our home in five days. Good price and high quality product. It was disappointing that I walked the entire store and wasn’t greeted or spoken to at all by the staff. I mentioned it out loud as I proceeded to leave because of this reason but was stopped by the nice store manager who apologized and was gracious in assisting me. For that along I’ll give a 4 overall.
