My wife and I went to Ashley and purchased a 6 piece cross sectional couch during our first visit there. Our experience was exceptional. Nick was very helpful in explaining the many options we had and answered all the questions we had. He’s extremely knowledgeable and reliable. We went back for a dining room set and we will continue to return and request Nick.

We purchased furniture for our new house while we still resided at our old house. Everytime I called for an update or to schedule deliever , I had to remind them of my new address and requested to remove old address. Also, I would request them to call or txt my number before arrival and yet they would txt my bf. We had been asking for the bill since we bought the furniture , but they stated it would not be sent until final delievery. We even called and stated we had not recieved one shortly after last delievery, this was in July. Then in August still no bill and credit report showed a negative impact due to late payment. Still no bill. They had sent it to our prior address , that I had stated several times we do not reside anymore. So because of that simple error on their end , our credit took a hit. Which is a big deal when you already took one from buying a house and everything else not to mention when you work hard to maintain 800 plus. They stated they cannot do anything to fix this and we have to file a dispute. I feel like the whole process with ashely furniture was just stressful. Moving and medical issues at the same time was enough. I do not want to deal with this too. They made it seem like we would get furniture in 4 weeks , but we didnt. We bought a floor model couch for basement that came in 2 weeks, another couch set for upstairs that ended up being the floor model as they were no longer in production until July (We bought furniture in May and they didnt tell us this til mid June). No discount for floor model as it wasnt on the floor long enough per the sales guy that sold us furniture. I also, ordered a bed frame that did not arrive until Aug. 5th. They wanted me to wait until bed frame came in to get my couches as I only paid for 1 delievery. I had to talk to a manager to get my couches delivered before bed frame , since at that time they had no idea when bed frame would be in. I talked her into free delivery since I didnt recieve discount for floor model. I purchased my dining table and a love seat at value city, no issues and quick delivery. The sales guy at Ashley's and shift manager at the time made it seem like it would be a smooth easy process, but when we had issues the sales guy didnt seem to care. He clearly only cres to make a sale. Ill never go to Ashley's again. I also, was going to cancel my order bc I was tired of waiting, but was informed I could not do that and returning wasnt an option until a certain amount of time after delivery. Sales guy said it was part of the contract and he was quite rude , but im sure I was too bc its ridiculous that it takes over 2 months for a bed frame but I can get a couch and dining table within 2 weeks from value city

I had the pleasure of working Jolene. She was absolutely fantastic in helping figure out options for my home. We had just moved to the area and needed to replace most of our furniture. Jolene took the time to scale furniture and mock it up how it would look. It was extremely helpful to see a visual representation. She was extremely knowledgeable about what was in stock and really listened to what I was wanting to create in my home. She was kind and patient as I was deciding on what would be best in my home. The service here was extremely slow. I waited a long time. but no one seemed to care. Very unprofessional behavior not recommended at all.

I was disappointed with my recent experience. The service was much slower than expected and the staff didn’t seem attentive. The quality of the product was below what I was hoping for especially considering the price. I think the business has potential but they really need to improve their customer service and consistency.

Was greeted by Paul S. He was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Answered all of our questions professionally. Will work with him again if the need rises. Very courteous and polite. He also made sure we understood everything before we left the store. He is a keeper!

Upon arrival, Paul greeted us immediately. We went in search of a dining table but were not exactly going to purchase one today. Paul showed us the options in the color we were looking for and we found the perfect set for our family. Paul was very friendly and even laughed at our jokes to make us feel better. I recently purchased a house in Michigan,over the last few months I was in Ashley’s 3 different times and worked with Taylor all 3 times. She’s a wonderful gal to work with,no pressure,told us all the promotions and left us to look around,she would always circle back around to check on us.Today we purchased a dresser,couch and chair and a bed,Taylor is the best!

Basia was wonderful to work with. She helped me find the sofa that was perfect for me and my home. The selection of furniture was very nice and I felt no pressure to purchase quickly or even to purchase at all. I found the 2 pieces I can build my decor around and I am delighted.

I’ve bought 2 queen bed sets and my living room couch from here about 6 years ago. Still all holding up great. Today I got our third queen bed set for my sister, simply upgrading. She found everything she dreamed of for her bedroom with the help of Adrian!! He helped us find exactly what she was looking for, including things we thought they didn’t even have. The service was FANTASTIC!! Adrian was professional, personable, funny and extremely easy going, as well as helpful of course. We will be asking for him for all our future purchases here at Ashely Furniture!! Not to mention, we probably would have left empty handed if it wasn’t for Adrian’s help!! Fantastic salesman !!

My boyfriend and I just purchased an awesome bedroom set from Ashley Furniture. Our amazing salesperson, Brook, answered all our questions throughly and helped us find the right set. We even worked with her after purchasing the partial set to add the rest of the set and the process was seamless. She even kept us informed and sent us messages with delivery updates and such. If you need help, Brook is amazing!

Mo greeted us at the door and was very friendly. My aunt and I really enjoyed working with her. She is fairly new on the job but was very helpful and did not hesitate to seek out the answers to our questions. Mo made it a great experience to shop at Ashley.

Stay away from this store as they lie to you about delivery. I purchased a table & chairs on August 4th with understanding delivery in a few weeks , but when I called a week later to schedule by month's end, I was told it would be end of September!!! This store just lost several thousand dollars from me and several family members as I can't even cancel the order!

Thanks to Marissa, we learned that her Ashley store in Mishawaka is locally owned — a big positive for us. She has the increasingly rare qualities of being both personable and professional — pleasantly consultative rather than annoyingly “sales-ey.” You should feel comfortable working with her as you browse Ashley’s wide selection of quality offerings.

I’m writing this review with a heavy heart. This store is a privately owned Ashley location and is not affiliated with the corporate chain, which means they operate under their own rules and policies. Unfortunately, we were given false information and misleading promises throughout the entire experience. What was said verbally didn’t match what we were asked to sign on paper, and when we questioned it later, the management offered no accountability. We found a couch and ottoman we liked, but the prices were higher than what we saw online. We were about to leave and purchase them online instead, but a staff member stopped us and promised they would honor the online pricing. They also told us that if we didn’t like the furniture, we could return or exchange it, paying only a restocking fee. However, once the ottoman was delivered, it turned out to be too large for our space. I immediately called to request a re-selection, only to find out that the item prices were not truly matched to the online ones. The total might’ve looked right, but each piece was priced differently. For example, the ottoman was listed online at $499, but they charged me $720 — which wasn’t made clear at the time of sale. Now with the higher price, the restocking fee to return or exchange the item is even higher — breaking their initial promise. We were then told we had two options: Re-selection within 72 hours for a 15% fee with the rest refunded A full refund within 72 hours for a 30% fee We accepted this and said we’d be back in 48 hours. But when we showed up in person, we were hit with more contradictions: 1. They do not offer a refund with a 30% fee after delivery — despite telling us otherwise. 2. The refund after re-selection is given only as store credit, not back in your pocket — again, something they never disclosed. Even if the employee who made these promises was new (mind you she checked with the manager whenever we asked these questions), the manager refused to stand by what was said or offer any help. No empathy, no effort to make it right. We ended up keeping the ottoman just to avoid dealing with them any further. We’ll store it for now and maybe use it later, but we’ll never shop here again. It was my mistake, not looking at the yelp reviews ahead if time. Bottom line: If you choose to buy from this store, be prepared for broken promises, misleading communication, and poor management. They do not honor what they say or welling to yield — even when it’s their own words. Truly disappointing experience.

Receiving the items you ordered in a timely manner doesn't appear to be a strength. I was told up to two months for delivery. Good people at the local store but delivery time is totally unacceptable. May cancel my order and it's the reason I dropped from 5 stars to 2 stars. Update: another week has come and gone with not even a call to give me a delivery date. If you like purchasing your furniture but never receiving your furniture, you'll love this place. Hadn't received even a call after three weeks with a delivery date. Canceled my oder and will never purchase from them again.

Initially I reached out to Brandon over the phone. He was very helpful! I was not able to get to the store and Brandon was going on vacation. I thought that would be the end of it but Brandon sent me a wonderful text and told me that if I got into the store to see Jolene. Jolene was amazing! She was efficient and answered all our questions and helped with our design vision. Not to mention Ashley price matched our furniture pieces! Can’t say enough about Brandon and Jolene…..thank you so much! Better yet, our delivery is set for next week which was only a 2 week wait🙌🏼

I want you to know I appreciate you and I thank you for your kindness and your professionalism today. If I decide to buy in Mishawaka again, I will definitely call Ms Brooke. Initially it would have been 5 stars, however I’m glad I waited for the first of two deliveries before posting my review. I was told the day before my delivery that mattress, frame, and protector would be delivered. Upon the delivery the team said they forgot my protector and would over night it. I drove 4 hours the next day back for the protector. I was then told by a sales team member that the delivery team was lying . I don’t know who to believe and I especially don’t feel valued after payment. If this is how I am treated during delivery I can only imagine what a warranty claim will entail. I am leaving this at 3 stars, in the hope that things can still be resolved. UPDATE: After waiting another 2 weeks I have yet to receive the mattress protector. I have not enjoyed this process.

Nick S. was very helpful in helping my wife and I choose a dresser. He was very upfront and even helped us save a little money. Update: Although the price was great, once the furniture was received it was more so a let down in quality. When my wife and I went back to the store Nicks whole attitude changed on how we were approached. It was more a feeling of “well you bought it didn’t you” rather than actually heard and cared for.

We have purchased Ashley furniture before at another location and had a very good experience. Not true here! We ordered a dining room set and a new king bed and platform base. When the delivery team arrived they realized that the base that they had was for a long single bed. They informed my wife that this can work for half of the platform and if we wanted the other half we would have to call the store and order it. She reluctantly did so, another $200+ we didn't expect, the delivery team left a pile on our bedroom floor and departed. I waited for 10 days and finally called and asked to talk to the manager. I explained my situation and asked her to make this right. Her reply was you have to pay for the other half of the base if you want it but she would send the salesman out with the other half of the base soon because the delivery team was to busy to come and install it. As a former owner of a office furniture company I told her I would have owned the mistake, not charged for the additional piece and make it a priority to have our best delivery team out there asap. She said sorry but if you want it you have to pay for, no apology for no one calling us after the first delivery team left, just excuses about having a newer salesperson and busy managers who didn't check the order...last time for me to shop at this store!!

We went to Ashley Furniture Saturday looking for furniture for our 3 season room. As always, Matthew Merkner was there to help us leave with some amazing looking furniture that will be delivered in 2 short weeks! We now have an entire house full of furniture from Ashley Furniture!

Taylor was great! Wasn't pushy at all which is generally what you expect walking into a furniture store. She helped us select an end table to match our sectional, and was flexible in allowing us to use credit toward a dining table instead of the coffee table and rug advertised in the package deal. She even stayed after close to help us finish our purchase. Would recommend her for any furniture needs.

Tim Mason and Sawyer Reynolds were helpful, patient and they didn't hover like vultures. They actually listened (a rare skill in sales these days), and made the process easy by working with what we wanted and needed rather than salesmen from other stores just trying to make a quick buck off us. They didn't try to upsell me into a NASA certified high tech couch we didn't need. 10/10 would recommend. Go here and support your local furniture legends. If they aren't the highest paid people in there, then they should be.

recently had a disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture regarding a purchase deal and delivery. Although the product itself was fine, the deal we agreed upon had a significant wait time of almost two months for delivery, with no specific delivery time provided. The uncertainty and delay caused frustration, especially given the circumstances surrounding the transaction. Additionally, the customer service interaction was not satisfactory, with the representative seeming rushed and unfriendly on the phone on the phone Overall, our experience with Ashley Furniture fell short of our expectations, particularly in terms of communication and delivery.

Jolene was very nice and very informative. Both my sister and I enjoyed our experience there.

Jolene is awesome to work with. We went in not knowing exactly what we wanted. She took the time to work with us. She looked at some pics of our space, sketched it out and helped us pick out the perfect furniture. We will be back in for some finishing touches.

On July 7, 2025 I ordered two sofas by phone for $1,254, out the door, explicitly including delivery and in-home setup. Sales rep Djorin Mourning confirmed those terms by text, then over the phone, and the charge hit my card the same day. When the written sales order arrived, the setup service had vanished. When I reached out to fix the paperwork, Store Manager Marissa Gain refused to accept any responsibility. She labeled the mix-up a “coaching moment” for Djorin—as though the fault lay entirely with her—yet still wouldn’t honor the promise her own employee made under her supervision. Instead, she repeatedly tried to cancel my fully paid order and insisted I settle for curbside drop-off. Her tone throughout was condescending; at one point she threatened to pull the phone transcripts, apparently confident they would vindicate her, even though those same recordings would prove I requested and Djorin accepted delivery with setup. Every attempt to remind Ms. Gain that managers are accountable for their staff’s commitments was met with more stonewalling and another offer to refund me rather than deliver what I bought. The texts, receipts, and altered PDF all show the store reneging on its own agreement. The case is still active. I’ve opened a file with Ashley Corporate and am prepared to escalate to the Indiana Attorney General and the BBB if the store does not follow through. Buying furniture should not require legal threats just to receive the service you’ve already paid for. Unless Ashley Mishawaka—and Ms. Gain in particular—learns to stand behind written agreements and treat customers with basic respect, shop elsewhere. I will update this review if the store finally delivers and sets up the sofas exactly as promised. EDITED in response to the store’s response on my review: Your statement misrepresents what happened. There was no “misunderstanding.” The sale terms— $1,254 including delivery + in-home setup—were confirmed by your own employee, Djorin Mourning, twice: once on the recorded phone call and again in writing by text. I have saved copies of both, and I’m more than willing to share them with the BBB, the Indiana Attorney General, or a judge. You did not “offer options.” The only “option” presented was a curb-side drop-off that stripped away the setup you had already sold me. When I declined to accept less than what I paid for, your store—specifically Manager Marissa Gain—unilaterally tried to cancel the transaction rather than honor it. Cancelling a fully paid order without the customer’s consent isn’t a courtesy; it’s a breach of contract. This was never about “additional discounts.” I have asked for nothing more than the exact service you promised, charged, and put in writing. Calling it a “discount” is a convenient way to dodge responsibility. “Clarify the terms” is corporate spin. The only thing that needs clarification is why your management believes it can rewrite a signed agreement after taking payment. Because you have chosen to cancel instead of perform, I am now preparing formal complaints to the Indiana Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division and the BBB, and I will dispute the charge with my credit-card issuer. I remain ready to proceed in small-claims court if necessary, where the phone recordings and text messages will speak for themselves. Feel free to contact me with a concrete delivery-and-setup date that satisfies the original contract. Short of that, please stop recasting your breach as a “misunderstanding.”

I had another great purchasing experience at Ashley. Taylor was friendly, polite and professional. An exemplary employee! I plan to buy more furniture at Ashley Homestore in the future.

Nick is very detailed, or at least he was us, which was great! He seemed to have good knowledge of the furniture! And ultimately seemed to get us a pretty good discount, which we appreciated! With our situation we needed print outs of our invoice to look at before bringing money in to make the purchase. It seemed at first it was going to be such a burden on Nick that we didn’t think we were ever going to get the print out. After asking about four different times we finally got one. He also tried pushing us to create a credit account, which would have likely effected the pre-approval for our new house - though to his credit I don’t think it was in bad faith, just lack of knowledge. We would likely recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone looking for high quality furniture.

I purchased a sectional in March of 2023. In December of 2024 the faux leather started to crack and chip off. It was a cheap piece of furniture as we only spent $1300 on it. I contacted ashley and they told me if I want to get it fixed I would have to bring my sectional to the store and pay for it to be fixed. Let me add we have no animals and don’t eat or drink on our sectional. This was such poor quality I will never purchase anything else from ashley. Horrible customer service with even cheaper quality products. Save your money and go elsewhere or you will be throwing your money away.

I just wanna give five stars to Ashley Furniture on grape Road in Mishawaka! Joe greeted me as I came in to browse the store for possible solutions for new living room furniture needed in our home. A bit later Brooklyn came and just asked me some questions about what I was looking for. As we talked, she began to do a little sketch of our living room space and after a few minutes of talking to Me and listening to what I was looking for she pointed me to a sectional that could be converted to a couch and loveseat I would not have even looked at this piece because it was a sectional. I’m super happy with how they worked with us helping us get a price that we could afford as well. Our furniture is ordered and should be here next week. Can’t wait to get this living room makeover at a price we could afford!

I’ve never before felt like I was at a car lot while buying furniture before. From the moment we walked in the door the sharks were circling. We were escorted from piece to piece and pushed in the direction of the most expensive pieces in the store. When we navigated to a less expensive option and requested pricing the salesman couldn’t give us all the information. We were in on Memorial Day and advised there was a sale but the sale amount was not advertised or posted. What pushed the experience over the edge was when the salesman came back from speaking to his manager today and today only they could do a super special deal. We didn’t buy and we won’t be back if I wanted a pushy car salesman I’d buy a car.

Paul did a great job of explaining the different options and worked well with us on pricing.

Our experience at Ashley Furniture had its highs and lows. The initial salesman was fantastic—genuine, attentive, and really listened to what we were looking for. Thanks to him, we found the perfect couch that we absolutely love. However, the experience with management wasn’t quite as smooth. The managers came across as a bit pushy and weren’t very transparent about pricing, which made that part of the process feel a little uncomfortable. The biggest frustration was the wait time and lack of communication after the purchase. The couch took much longer to arrive than expected, and we didn’t receive many updates unless we reached out ourselves. That said, the delivery team really stood out—they were professional, efficient, and handled everything with care. In the end, we're very happy with the product, but wish the overall buying and communication experience had been better.

They are really nice, polite, treat you really good and promise you to deliver your furniture real soon UNTIL you pay. After that if you call them just to ask why it is taking too long for delivering, they just say can't do anything you deal with that. It's almost a month since I went to their store and purchased the furniture and still don't have it delivered. The most outrageous is the way they speak to you is like you are wrong for calling them complaining about the furniture you've payed for. Never buy anything from them again.

Usually love Ashley, have bought many things from there including a new couch a couple months ago. However, we had the worst experience while mattress shopping a couple weeks ago. We had told them we were strictly trying and not buying that day and didn’t need help, we knew what we were looking for. As we were walking out we were stopped at the door by an aggressive blonde sales woman and Nick the salesman who had what felt like a rehearsed story saying the bed we were looking for was awful and they both had the same horrible experience(because Ashley no longer sells beautyrest black) and basically were pushing Tempur-Pedic on us when I had already said I didn’t like those due to personal reasons. My husband and I felt trapped and attacked by both of these salespeople and will unfortunately not be giving business to Ashely in Mishawaka again. We went to mattress firm that same night and gave them our 7k purchase instead. Patient and understanding sales tactics go a long way, aggressive and trapping behavior does not. Maybe pass this along to your team.

NOT RELIABLE! I was told 2-3 weeks on my furniture delivery. Here we are 4 weeks later and still no furniture! Was told Tuesday 4/1 by the end of the week. The told Friday 4/4 mid April! Never again will I buy from this store.

Zachary Rhoden was our sales associate, and he was extremely helpful! We told him what we were looking for, and he showed us several options that could fit our needs. We had a ton of questions, because we wanted something that would hold up well with 3 kids and 2 cats. He was able to answer all of our questions and help us find the right set. He even had an understanding of design and color options that would fit best based upon our current color scheme. Best experience we’ve ever had at a furniture store! We absolutely love our new furniture! It’s so comfortable, well-made, and goes well in our living room. The delivery staff were great too! They were super polite and friendly and identified an issue with our power cords so we could get it fixed right away. We will definitely come back to this store in the future, because our experience was so great!

Djorin might be on the best sales/customer service people I have ever interacted with. She was extremely transparent in the process, listened to my concerns and did not make me feel pressured, but instead informed me to make a sound purchase. Highly recommend her and her manager Marissa I believe.

While I originally posted the process was good and fast I have been proven wrong when we purchased our couch (2weeks ago) we were told we could pick up the following Sunday 4/6. No communication until I reached out the day before was told it wasn’t delivered to the store would be available by 4/10, this time received a message that everything would be on track for delivery. Again reached out on Saturday, 4/12 to verify we could pick up our couch to be told the truck was full and our couch wasn’t delivered. Again would not have gotten the information had I not reach out to confirm we could pick up on Sunday 4/13. Now being told that it should be delivered to store on 4/17, which will make us picking up if it actually arrives on Easter Weekend. At this point I have paid for the couch with no real expectation that I will even get it let alone get any communication if I don’t reach out first. Before purchasing we verified they had these couches available and when we could have it quickly (within a week from purchase) specifically because we didn’t want to wait 4+ weeks for delivery like you are seeing in many furniture stores.

I purchased a sofa and love seat from Ashley Furniture. My sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable with the products and services. I had my furniture picked up from the store. However, we couldn’t seem to get it in the house. Joelene requested to have Josh and a salesman come out to my home to help with putting the furniture in my house. Those gentleman were extremely helpful and did a wonderful job. 10 out of 10 I would love to recommend anyone to give Ashley Furniture their business. They won’t disappoint.

My buying experience was handled by Jolene Mishawaka Ashley furniture store. She was a delight to work with. Her knowledge and personality was absolutely amazing. She new her merchandise. All the ins and outs. I would buy again from Ashley because of her.

My husband and I have basically been sleeping in a canoe. Our old mattress was SO worn down, to the point whenever we got in bed one side of the mattress would actually fall through the bed frame… We had the immense pleasure of working with Nick S. in our shopping experience and we cannot recommend him enough!!! He is extremely personable, very knowledgeable, and was also a great listener. He was able to tune into exactly what my husband and I needed (basically everything but at least the big points) and helped us narrow down our mattress search. We ended up buying our mattress then having second thoughts… yes, we were those people that got super excited and made a purchase we realized was more of a want than a need. That being said, Nick was so gracious with his time (a SECOND time) making sure to review all of our options and get us exactly what we needed at an affordable cost. Ashley Furniture has a great selection, but Nick made the experience phenomenal! Whatever you’re currently reading reviews for- whether it’s mattresses, bedroom or living room sets, dining furniture, etc., I can assure you Nick WILL take care of you and make sure to get you exactly what you’re looking for! Someone give that man a raise!!!

Went to 5 furniture stores in the area. This was the only store that despite consistently telling the salespeople we were just browsing, insisted on hovering and bothering us the entire time. I understand this is how they make money, but we ended up walking out before even finishing browsing simply because we were tired of being followed and interrogated repeatedly. Try a less aggressive approach, you might gain some business.

On 16th of February the wife and myself started looking for furniture for our family room. When we left our house we had not intended on going to Ashley Furniture we were going to another furniture store next door to start our furniture adventure but ended up going into Ashley first because of parking spaces. Wow we ARE SO GLAD WE DID. Once in the store we were impressed and then destiny again puts us in contact with our salesman Emjay . Wow how lucky we were twice first arriving at the store then meeting Emjay. He informed us he was a new employee you wouldn't have known that at all. Well long story short we got GREAT FURNITURE and a GREAT DEAL WITH NO PRESSURE .. You can get furniture a lot of places but ASHLEY SELLS QUALITY.. EMJAY THANKS. Also Emjays's manger Sawyer also really treated us nice and gave us a great deal. To be honest everyone at the Ashley store seems to enjoy what they do.. Sales person sold the sale from a younger gentlemen which we over looked. Then told us the 2 chairs would be in in less than 2 weeks. We got rid of all our furniture and it's now not coming until mid MARCH. NO HAPPY AT ALL!!

Had a great experience with Ashley Furniture. Literally every single one of our items arrived damaged and defective. Because of this, I was able to get the run around with customer service for over 3 months. After they fraudulently screwed us over on our paperwork, they have finally started to repair some of the items that were damaged. This company is a fraud: their in-store pricing is higher than online, they lie to you about delivery times, the furniture is cheaply made in Vietnam, and they pay for their Google reviews. This Ashley store is ran by a privately owned company, they will take your money and hide behind the paperwork.

Emjay and David were our sales rep and they are both wonderful, friendly people with positive energy. Store staff is very proper and polite, extremely scripted. The only problem is, Ashley is on the boycott list, which I realized AFTER making the purchase. So, we’re Happy with the purchase and process, but won’t shop there in the future due to a misalignment of core values and principles.

Always great service here! Basia always takes time explaining everything you need and want to know about whatever you are purchasing. Never pushy and always cares about what is best for you. Also, not positive if it is always, but if you open a card here, the 1st time you open, the sale they give at that time is 60mo no interest. This has helped my credit immensely and I was able to purchase a beautiful, well made couch with small payments & no interest. I recommend this store to anyone needing furniture! The salesperson I spoke with at the Mishawaka location, Paul, helped me tremendously in setting up the process of getting the desired bed I wanted from this store set up for delivery to my residence and for the cheapest price he could find. I couldn’t recommend a better furniture store regarding the customer service you get than this one!

Worst customer service experience, second only to dealing with a cable company. Upon opening package, furniture was damaged. We were told WE had to bring it back, unable to return as “every piece is ‘considered’ special order.” You have three days after purchase date to return, apparently. We were then told they will assess it at the service department and decide if it can be fixed or replaced. The damage present should warrant a replacement but we have zero confidence that it will be replaced. It will be now be two weeks before we can come pick it up ourselves again. They hid behind paperwork and did not try in any way to make anything right. Stay away. Stay far, far away.

They were both knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about finding the right fit for me. I highly recommend working with them if you’re shopping for new furniture.

Basia was friendly and helpful as soon as we entered the store. I appreciated being greeted, but more importantly that she gave my mom and I the time and space to look and shop on our own until we needed her. Basia was knowledgeable about the recliners we were looking for, and made appropriate recommendations based on our needs. She was a good listener too, and was able to guide us to two recliner choices. Thanks to her care, we purchased a recliner that seems to perfectly match my mom's needs from standpoints of comfort and health. From start to finish, Basia was warm, intelligent, and the type of sales representative I appreciate when shopping. Thank you! Update: The chair was delivered to the store in just five days, but they're communication was so poor that I didn't find out until 8 days later when I called them. I was told I'd receive a text, so that's what I looked for. Apparently they called, but the number doesn't say is Ashley Furniture, just a number I didn't recognize. They made no other attempt to reach me again in over a week. This makes no sense to me and is very poor service in my opinion. My mom is bed ridden because that's the most comfortable place for her until this chair arrived. She could have been much more comfortable and out of bed if Ashley Furniture had communicated better. I'm angry, disappointed, and unlikely to purchase from them again.
