Purchased a couch and recliner set for upstairs and 2 leather chairs for a different room. Paid hundreds of dollars for a warranty for each set. Had to place a warranty claim on the reclining mechanism. You have to call one place, then someone calls you from another place, took a month before seeing them. Then they ordered 3 parts, 1 part arrived 3 weeks later called to schedule to put it in and told them only one part came. They came out, and the one part was not even one of the 3 needed. They reordered the 3 parts. Couch is in partial recline position for months now. Part just arrived, once again just one part. In the meantime the chair started making a terrible noise. Husband has had 2 knee surgeries in the time it has taken since I filed the first claim. Neither piece of furniture has been repaired. Filed first claim in August, it’s December now. Nothings been repaired. Still waiting on parts after 8 calls and 3 tech visits. We are in our 60’s with no kids at home and neither of us are big people items still look new just don’t work. Purchased nicer end stuff, paid for full warranty and when I called the store they just directed me to the same numbers and people. No help at all. Wish I hadn’t called for the repair if this goes on much longer it will be out of warranty and never repaired. No one will help me and I have been so patient. Really sick of walking around the foot thing that is stuck in out position in my living room for months. Happy to sell you something that has no value —their warranty. Don’t bother buying it, go somewhere that will keep their word if there is a problem.

We had the beat experience with Ashley Furniture . We were able to purchase a sectional that we love and a brand new mattress ! Can not wait for it to be delivered . The lady that made it all happen was awesome !
Paid $300 for the "premium" delivery, date got delayed twice and then they made up excuses as to why they couldn't set it up where I wanted it when they finally did show up. Canceled ny order and will not be returning. Found the same couch cheaper somewhere else anyway.

Will not be back to this location. Bought 2 of item T990-3 that is showing online at $289. Marked up at the store to $399 then “discounted” to $339. I used to work in sales and know about these kinds of tactics. Further, we were told we could pick the furniture up Saturday which was not the case. Additionally, we were sold a protection plan and was told by the sales rep that it would cover the USB ports if something ever happened. After reading the fine print, they are NOT covered. The protection plans are also cheaper online than what we paid for. Not happy and will NOT return, especially since we are planning to buy a new sectional and coffee table.

Dakota Ladd (Associate Sales Manager) was the only one at the store when I came in and was already tending to multiple other customers so I waited patiently. By the time it was my turn, it was already past regular business hours, granted I came in 30 minutes before closing time. Dakota stayed over an hour past closing time to help me get my bed set ordered and financing finished. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service!

Dakota was a big help in finding new furniture that matched our needs. when we later returned to the store to finalize our purchase, we learned Dakota was off work at that time. Turns out our experience took a severe plunge when ordering the furniture. At no fault of the store clerk named Rayleen, who was very good, the rest of the experience was truly awful. We were assured that the furniture could be delivered to a new location multiple times ,By the manager, even after I asked if we needed to order from a closer store to the location of delivery. But, We were assured it could be delivered. Which turned out not to be the case. We were put off and could not get a return call from the manager. I felt like we were deceived from the beginning of the process. We were very disappointed in this store.

(one was Kevin Simpson, but I did not get the other gentleman’s name but he had a long white jacket on) They were friendly, polite and had great sense of humor which is so necessary when dealing with customers anywhere ! Their demeanor would definitely encourage me to go to that store again when I’m ready to purchase furniture!! Thank you guys!!!
Furniture Quality and customer service review: Wife and I decided to get so called Quality Ashley furniture. We Spent 8k on two quality bed set. Week ago it arrived… Delivery folks said it wasn’t boxed up at the warehouse which was weird as everything they pick up is usually boxed up. After they did their white glove set up, We found every piece on king set had damage. Week later I have heard nothing on fixing the issues. King bed wasn’t put together all the way, five draw dresser has scuffs all over, one drawer won’t close, grey putty on the side. Large dresser with mirror has warped boards on top and scuffs all down it, looks like it came from a st. It also has a crack in the middle door that’s about 18” long. King head board and EVERY king piece is scuffed up. The second queen set we had to send the headboard back, dresser side panel doesn’t align with the top, poor quality! Not to mention the delivery driver left and tore by internet and phone cables out which damaged my soffit. Reported that, heard nothing. Issues happen of course, but if someone spends this money and has that many issues…. Makes you wonder The store employees were great when we purchased.
Byers bewear Ashley furniture terre haute Indiana .becare full what you by there .their factory warranty no good an they won't replace it like they say. can't get ur stuff fixed either. I am pretty sure the extended warranty not good either waste of money to by ur future there.i been five to six months trying to get my couch an love seat replaced or repaired no luck there waste of time an money.ill not do that again. Pass on to ur friends and family don't buy their stuff.

We bought two couches and loveseats. We went ahead and got the extended warranty because it was supposed to cover all damages it's tears etc. The frame failed on both of our couches , which tore the fabric. This was during the 1st year but I didn't follow up until after 1st year. After 1 year even if the frame is damaged they won't repair it without you paying for the labor. They will pay for the materials for a furniture frame but they will not pay for the labor that goes along with it. They won't pay for the repair to the fabric. So you have to coordinate that with the extended warranty yourself. So long story short if you're looking for a great long lasting couches Ashley furniture is not the place. Don't expect them to last longer than one year. We definitely will not be recommending Ashley furniture to anyone.
I am so unhappy with my service from Ashley(not the stores fault). I have ordered twice and both times have had to deliver. First order they wrote the address down wrong. Had to go another 10 days without my purchase! Second attempt order was never placed to deliver. What gives!? UPDATE: I received my order, they made changes to deliver sooner, however, one item was destroyed (happens) they will send a replacement. My other complaint; they did not order slats for my platform bed, making it unusable. Had to make a trip to the store (an hour fifteen min drive) to get some that they had on the floor. Luckily they just gave them to us. I understand issues but the distribution center needs to be better! Get it together.

Bought brand new couch and leg was broke and screws were put in the side of couch instead of legs provided. Company sent part to us and we had to fix the couch ourselves. Bought bedroom suite and everything was put together loosely. Made an even bigger mistake (ya, we fell for it 3 times) by buying barstools through them and legs were broke and screws were stripped...That was March and it's now mid September and still no repair person and no future date of when they will be in town. You buy local but repair people aren't local and only come out like once every 3 months to Terre Haute and it's a day of their choosing...Awful place, save yourself a headache and buy in Indianapolis.

We bought a couch in 2020. Immediately, within the first week, the entire decking on the right side of the couch came undone. They sent out a repair tech, who just attempted to re-staple the couch instead of replacing the decking. It failed 3 weeks later. since then, the entire decking has come undone systematically. The all inclusive warranty they sell you at Ashley is a sham. It only covers cosmetic damage, and only if the cosmetic damage is not caused by an animal. This is the worst built, most uncomfortable hell couch I have ever encountered. This company is predatory, and would sell their own grandmother for a commission. If you are looking to buy from them, do yourself a favor and don't. This has been an incredibly expensive mistake that I will NEVER make again.

Lacie assisted me to the perfect living room set & just so happened it was discounted - I didn’t care for the pillows (automatically come with set) she suggested Amazon & also said you can change pillow covers for holidays 😊 The manager Nick made it very quick & “painless” in applying for my credit application. The whole shopping experience was very good.
We purchased a sleeper sofa and living room suite in November 2022. Prior to delivery we decided to cancel the living room set along with the warranty on the sofa. The store assured us the credits would reflect on the next statement. To date I have contacted the store 4 times and the corporate customer service line twice to resolve the issue. The store is saying there was an error with the delivery charge and is refusing to refund the warranty we attempted to cancel. I now have negative credit reporting on my credit report for not paying the $100 I have been told multiple times was being refunded. I have spoken to the same store associate twice who promises a return call from management- still waiting. With late fees and adjustments to “other charges “ we will be paying nearly $1800 for a couch that had a sticker price of $1000. I cannot recommend nor will ever purchase from Ashley again. Their follow up customer service when someone wants to return something is terrible and inexcusable.

I purchased a matching reclining sofa and loveseat that was delivered around three weeks ago. The sofa is fine but the cushions on the loveseat are unbearably hard. I immediately called the store and they said a technician would call me within three days. After nobody called I called again with the same answer and once again nobody contacted me so I called a third time and was told the same thing. It seems they are more than happy to sell you what they claim is a high quality item but beware that it is just talk with zero service after the sale. Here is an update. After many months of back and forth with Ashley insisting it was not a manufacturer defect they finally agreed to send me new cushions within four days. After a month of no deliveries I called them back and they acted like they knew nothing about the problem but once again agreed to send out new cushions which finally did arrive. This was almost two months ago. I have called them about four times and each time they say a technician will call me within 72 hours but nobody ever calls and the new cushions are still sitting here waiting to be installed. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I would leave a 0 star review if that was an option. We have furnished an entire home with Ashley's Homrstore, bought numerous couches over the last 10 years. We recently bought an OVERPRICED nightstand and have never been so unsatisfied. We bought at the store waited weeks to be able to pick it up at the warehouse when we was told it was there in stock the day we bought. Got it home and the hardware to the drawer was broken. Called immediately was told the part had to be ordered, shipped to us, and then a technician would be scheduled. After 2 months of waiting for a part and continuously given the run around whenever their customer service actually answers the phone, we are still waiting and still have a nightstand that is not usable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUY ELSEWHERE!!!

Me and my wife is looking to purchase a bedroom set which we did. Delivery was on a certain day. We set it up because we both work weird hours two days before the delivery day we get contacted of change of date in which we did not appreciate. Could we set a delivery date Calling and they said that they had to product and why it wouldn’t gonna be delivered on a date was not right the sales person that sold us our bedroom set with mattress also pushed us to buy a bed cover which we did we had to cancel order and they refuse to give us the money back for the bed cover that was never used said once we took it out of the store we could not return it couldn’t even get our bedroom set to us so I can even use the bed cover even though nobody informed us so we couldn’t return it. We were told they had a return policy when purchasing we had to cancel our order because we couldn’t take delivery when they wanted to deliver it even though we set up a delivery date and I had took time off of work for that delivery day to be canceled two days before if this is the way business is done I do not see any future at buying anything ever from Ashley furniture

Ordered a table and chair set. On week 12 and being told another 4 weeks it might show up at the warehouse. Never was told the items were on back order and never told it would take this long. Was told 4 to 6 weeks max. Horrible service, never updates you untill you call.

I worked with Lacy and she was amazing. Initially I called and asked for information about items I found online but I ended up going into the store for the actual purchase. She explained everything to me I’m detail. The whole process took less than an hour. I even brought our new 5 month old puppy with us! She loved him! I have been a repeat customer with Ashley for years and they continue to meet and exceed my expectations.
I went in looking for a bunk bed; there weren't any on the floor for viewing. I hadn't made it very far through the store before I was stopped by a young lady name Raelee. I was worried that because of my poor appearance and small size that I wouldn't be treated like a buying customer... But she approached me nearly immediately, despite me wearing headphones, and saved me the time of searching the whole store. I suffer from fairly extreme bipolar 1 disorder; my anxiety is generally rather high, and I find it very difficult to go into stores by myself. I often get lost on the way because I don't have the brain capacity to navigate roads immediately. So I was nervous. But between her and a young man named Dakota who was their mattress specialist, they never failed to make me feel at home - and that's so proper for a furniture store helping you create your home at home. For people like me sleep is incredibly important - and they knew that immediately without being told, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, but tried so hard to set me up with what would truly help me with that issue. I had forgotten that furniture can be financed... Despite having ghost credit, they were able to get me a really good approval. They were willing to mix and match programs to get me the best overall price, and they weren't afraid to explore different options with me. I've taken the time to write this review because I feel their hard work and pleasant air deserves praise. If every store was as helpful and pleasant as this furniture store, I think that'd make a beautiful world. I was thoroughly impressed, and now I have a way to build my credit that doesn't feel so overwhelming and crushing. Young and need to build your credit? Get your bed here instead of Walmart or Facebook marketplace. It's a bit pricey but it's cheap to start and the furniture is solid. Raelee took the time to explain to me how a specific method of construction lends to a strong piece of furniture. Honestly, I'll be back when I'm ready to pick up a desk. This place is an absolute joke. We spent over 5 grand on a sectional, called to get it warrantied out because it’s only been 3 years and it’s completely broken down. We purchased the extended warranty and then the company tells us it’s not covered, but if we call another company and purchase a separate protection plan then they will replace it! What?!? Don’t waste your time or money!! Horrible customer service!!

Ordered a new sectional. Got the first two pieces and two of the cushions had a black stain on them. The delivery guy took pictures and called it in the moment we saw the stains. I got a call saying they would come clean the stains by a third party vendor, but they only come to my city once a month. We said we bought a new couch and were not satisfied that it would have to be cleaned the moment it was delivered. They then said they would send new slip covers and we could re-stuff them ourselves. I said that was unacceptable. I called local store where I purchased the product and they put in a ticket to get new cushions. However, they sent sear cushions, not the back cushions. When I called in a customer service representative named, Ophelia, was not helpful at all. It was all our fault and we had no recourse essentially. I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again. My husband is on his way to the store to try and get resolve.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! We ordered a couch, loveseat, a fireplace tv stand and custom pillows. And the entire process has been one thing after another. Every time I’ve had to call them I have got a different answer regarding the shipping of my items. It’s very unprofessional, and if you want anything in a timely manner this is NOT the place to go. They will lie and say it will be there in 2 weeks then they push it out another 3 the day your item is supposed to arrive. I have never had such a terrible experience. And I will NEVER be ordering from here again! This place deserves ZERO stars!

At first we felt the Terre Haute, IN Ashley Furniture store was good. The salesperson was good and all seemed to process smoothly on 5/28.. We were told 6-8 weeks for delivery. The customer service however is clueless and has been horrible. They never answer their phone and we found out after a visit to the store directly that even though you leave a message they don’t actually have anyway to receive that message. Now for the kicker. After 20+ phone calls (we don’t live close by) we went into the store again last week (7weeks since our order) and they told us everything except the mirror would arrive to the Chicago warehouse that week and since 3 weeks earlier they completed a split delivery request, that our bedroom furniture was set to deliver on 7/25 and the mirror shows delivery by 8/8. They said they would call us today on 7/23 to schedule the time. No one called. So after 4 more phone attempts today, we started driving there again. Surprisingly, on the way I called one more time and they answered for the first time. The same person that has waited on us at their counter in person answered and told us it would deliver on 7/25 now acted completely clueless and told us it now looks like it may deliver by the end of August. Ridiculous!!! I was not happy at all and let them know it. I won’t hold my breathe that they will call me on Tuesday as she stated to confirm when my furniture may deliver! What is the most frustrating is that I had to contact them. Sorry, but when you have supply chain issues, your sales people should be on the phone following up on their open orders and staying in contact with the customers rather than sitting on their backside in the store waiting for someone to walk in the front door.

This store is greate with representing but very poor at servicing the customers, we were given wrong or misleading information just so they can get us ‘sign’ the papers. They DO NOT CARE about you nor your product but just the money! Please read the papers before signing up.
We went in tonight to look for end tables. It seemed like everything turned into a thing! There was confusion which discounts we could use, the salesman couldn’t find us in the system, they finally figured it out and added us probably an hour later. Then after we left the store, we received a call from a random person telling us they had just received our emailed invoice - with all of our info on it! Lastly, we ended up purchasing ‘slightly’ damaged tables off the floor - that ended up being a little more worn out than we could see at the store. It’s been an evening!

Buyer beware! I bought a brand new chair that was flimsy and junky. Was in my home for only 2 days. I contacted asking for an exchange and even asked if I could exchange my brand new chair for the used floor model. These people do not allow returns or exchanges. Once you buy it it's yours whether it's in good condition or tore up right out of the box. These people are absolute crooks with pathetic customer service skills.

I have never been so angry with a company! I purchased furniture (paid IN FULL), a sectional and a recliner, on July 10th. The estimated “ready for delivery” date changed FIVE times. The furniture was supposed to be ready for delivery 10 weeks after the purchase. It was not ready for delivery until DECEMBER 1st. I spoke with a supervisor on Saturday, November 27, who assured me that he would have the shipment expedited and the furniture would be delivered the following week (November 29-December 3). When I was finally able to schedule my delivery on December 1st, I was told by an automated system that the earliest delivery date available was December 9th. A week LATER than the supervisor promised it would be delivered. I called again and talked to customer service. I explained my issue, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told that my delivery date could not be changed, and that my request, after being promised delivery, “was not going to happen.” The customer service representative interrupted me repeatedly, said that a supervisor would only tell me the same thing, and then hung up on me. Ashely Furniture, their manufacturer and their customer service, is a joke!
The sales people are very pleasant. How ever I do believe there strong suit is not honesty. I have made my last purchase with this company. They are very consistent in poor service. Beware of the Terre Haute Ashley Furniture's sub-standard customer service. They are trying to rip off my physically frail eighty year old mother. She took delivery of a power recliner last week, but it is not to her liking (it is too hard.) Two months ago, she bought and paid for this chair, sight unseen and now she is being told she can not return it. The chair is supposed to have a one year warranty. I am linking the Facebook pages of the two TV stations and the Tribune, if they want to get involved with this robbery of an old lady story. I am also posting this on my page and on Ashley's page, so this complaint does not mysteriously 'disappear'. Maybe a call to a lawyer is in order for possible bait & switch or fraud. She has the number of a ‘higher up’ to call tomorrow, but I am not very hopeful. I ordered a king size mattress set and then tried to save money, canceled, and bought from Value City. What a mistake. Value City seems to cut corners and the mattress is just off enough that no sheets fit snugly. Knowing people that bought from Ashley, that do not have this issue, I feel I got just what i ordered. Low quality, cheap mattress. I'm not even sure it was the style I ordered. . I'm sorry I ever canceled my order . If you have to choose, spend a little more and get quality furniture . Ashley was also open about delays. Value city promised "in stock'" and still took weeks .
My husband and I purchased $10,000 last year on a kitchen table and chairs, a living room suite, and bedroom suite, and a mattress and everything except the mattress has been nothing but junk and issues with it. It came with a year warranty and we also paid for an extended warranty. We have made multiple calls and have went by the store many many times. They refuse to fix the problem. The Ashley Furniture Store in Terre Haute Indiana has been nothing but rude and will not assist us in correcting the problem. The couch is already breaking down, the loveseat the “cardboard” you read that correctly. The cardboard is breaking and that is the exact words of the gentleman they sent to our home. The bedroom suite the bottom feet/support to sit on the floor to hold the mattress isn’t even touching the floor. The table has white spots on it and the legs are starting to get cracks in it. The chairs are very unleveled. Screws are missing and falling out. The spindles are coming out of the chairs. For the amount of money we have spent there we should have no issues with anything. The quality of the furniture is the worst I have ever saw. We are extremely unhappy with the furniture and we feel they haven’t done us correctly especially when these problems started immediately. They do not back their products nor their warranty. Everyone we’ve talked to at the store says there is no reason for this. It comes back from corporate then the manager’s are rude from that point on.

Do not order from them. They will tell you one date then change it. I ordered furniture in August was told they would be delivered in September. It is now October and they are saying Maybe middle of December. There is no guarantee. My couches were in transit to the distribution center in the beginning of Sept. Now they are still being made?!?! It costs 30% of the order to Cancle/get a refund. This is not a way to buy furniture. Save your money ho somewhere that has you leaving with what you paid for.

Would not recommend.... I get a call, telling me my sectional is in and ready for delivery. I take off work half a day because it's between 1-5. No big deal. Get my old couch out and thrown away. Guys show up with only half of my sectional... I call Ashley's and they say. "Yes the other part won't won't ready for another month or two". So now I have ZERO furniture for my family to sit on for the next 2 months. And ashleys response...."well thats not really our problem sir"... very disappointing
I recently just bought a few items from this store. They just delivered yesterday and they damaged a disabled veterns chair lift to get from the main floor to the basement. In case of emergencies since I live in the tornado valley. They are replacing the chair but refuse to recompensate for the bed frame which is also damaged. All in all. I will never shop at an Ashleys Furniture store ever again.

He let us look and check them out and was around when we needed him with no pressure to buy. We enjoyed our visit to the store. Would definitely go back for more furniture.

I filed a claim (#617XXX) June 21st, 2021, because the recliner I purchased (order #022278XXXX) May 10, 2019, quit reclining. I have called your support # and all the person did was give me Protectall's number, even after I told her my claim #. Protectall will not tell me when the part will be available or even if they can get the part. I think two months + is long enough. I want a replacement recliner. My next move is small claims court. Thanks.

I talked by text with the salewomen for a couple days too, before I decided I was ready. She was there to answer every question I had, even while off the clock. When purchasing furniture they tell you that your furniture will be delivered at such time/date but then the furniture never shows up and then all the sudden when you call they tell you it is on back order for 6 or more months. Why not tell the customer up front if something is on backorder? Also, you can never speak to anyone in the store, they don't answer and you always get forwarded to the call center. This happened to my niece, and two of my daughters just withing the past two months. Very poor service and nothing but lies just so they can get your money!! I would shop elsewhere to get furniture!

this is the worst place to buy furniture. save your money and go some place else. they sold me a bedframe, came and set it up, and as soon as my family laid on it the bottom fell out from underneath. I filed a claim and no one ever contacted me again. I went into the store and talked with their manager Lacey. she stated that she did not have the power to give me a refund and had to submit a request for one. the replacement piece was scheduled to be delivered on the 20th of July. no one has contacted me about a refund or a replacement piece. for over a month now they have ignored me, denied me a refund, and have failed to provide any information about replacement since they are refusing a refund. I did not spend over $1,100 for a broken frame and be forced to keep it. this is the worst customer service I have ever seen. Because it's been over a month with absolutely no answers, no responses to my emails, and being turned away at the store, I will be going to the court house on Monday July 26th to file a claim because this is absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! THEY WILL SELL YOU BROKEN FURNITURE AND REFUSE TO GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK!!

Well I just called again after being told our furniture would be available July 6th to be told that it would now be July 27th 😡😡😡 why is it if you pay for something in full that day and the associate tells you two weeks that the date can just keep changing!! We went in to look at bedroom furniture. We were not planning on buying and let Zach know when he approached us. He was very nice, gave us information on their current sale, and pointed us in the right direction for the style we were looking for. Well, we fell in love with one particular set and had several questions for him. Zach was wonderful! He answered every single question we asked and ended selling us our new bedroom furniture. No pressure from him in any way! We will return when we are ready to buy other pieces for our home.

Ashley was running a 4th of July sale in which when we entered the store the manager introduced herself and handed us a paper with sales info on it. One part said "BOGO 50% Off." We asked the manager what the "BOGO" deal all entailed. She explained, "pick any item in the store and then pick your second item. We will take 50% off the lesser of the two." I asked, "That's it? Nothing else to it?" She replied , "yep, that's it". Good deal, so we thought. We had selected a couch and as the second item an occasional table set. The couch had an "as advertised" 4th of July price listed on the tag. The salesman wrote up the purchase and took us to check out completing the sale. However, I looked over the receipt and the numbers didn't quite add up. I asked the salesman to explain why we weren't getting the BOGO 50% deal. The couch was the correct "advertised" price, but they only took 30% off on the tables. The salesman said we were getting a better deal at 54% off, yet he couldn't explain how. So, he went and got the manger (same one that gave us the flyer upon entering the store). I asked her to explain why they charged us more than the promo that she told us about. She said that the advertised price on the couch was already a marked down price and that she couldn't stack the discounts. I had told her that they never mentioned that. Nor was it written anywhere on any of the material that the first BOGO item had to be sold at top retail price and not an advertised price. I explained that what they were telling customers and advertising in the store is much different than what you are actually doing. What they should've done was honor what they were advertising. She said she wouldn't do anything for us regarding the additional discount. This was on top of the fact that they had also charged us $40 more than their online price for delivery in which they also refused to match. What they said and what they were doing were two different things. So, I told them to refund me my money. The manager without hesitation began the refund. However, I asked her (as she refunding our money) if she was really going to let a $1,200 furniture purchase just walk out the door over $100 that they should've taken off and honored anyway because that's what they were telling customers. She said "I can't do anything about it, but I will let upper management know about the written disclaimer needing put on the flyers." So, they lost our business and didn't even try or care to keep us as a customer.
Had a great experience today as I always have in the past, too! I love that there are so many buying options with financing or discounts and deals to suit any buyers needs! To too it off, our salesman, Dakota, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
I visited Ashley’s in Terre Haute this evening and it was a very pleasantly experience. I was allowed plenty of time to browse and when the sales person did approach they were very helpful and considerate. I bought a recliner and I’m very happy with the price and quality. My husband & I went into the our local Ashley furniture store to look for furnishings for our new house. We were greeted promptly & asked what we were looking for. After explaining the style of furnishings we were looking for, the store clerk directed us to where we should look. He let us peruse at our own leisure without any pressure to buy. After picking out several items we asked the clerk to give us a price quote with different items so that we could stay within our budget. He ran a couple different options so that we could make the best choice to fit our needs. I would highly recommend this store & will be going back to pick up the pieces we were unable to buy at that time.

Absolutely terrible! Run away! Ordered loveseat on March 22 and was told it would be deliverd in May. Called them on May 1 and was told that loveseat may not be ready for delivery until DECEMBER! I cancelled the order and requested refund. Was told my refund would be processed within 10 days. it wasn't. I called again on May 28, was told cancellation was in the system but refund was not processed. Was told that the request was "escalated" and I should get a refund within 24 hours and get a call confirming. NO CALL and NO REFUND! Now June and I'm still trying to get my money back! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Will contact BBB and Indiana Attorney General about this company. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I'M SURE TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THEY SHOULDN'T EITHER.

I received a text on 5/19 that the sofa had arrived and to select a delivery date. Chose 5/26....no delivery today. Called about it....after long wait was told that no, that text was sent in error....new estimated delivery date of 6/19! SIx months! Lied to. Asked for supervisor to talk to.....promised he/she would call in an hour....still waiting after three hours!
I was very impressed with the employees. They were helpful and answered all of our questions. Lacie Claypool was very friendly and ready with prices on any furniture. Thank you all for a positive experience. We will receive two pieces of furniture this weekend and the couch in July.
The sales team were awesome. I was told that I would get my furniture in 6 to 8 weeks. 8 weeks passed and then I was told that my furniture would not be delivered until December... 8 months from ordering. I cancelled my order for a full refund and was told I should have it within 4 weeks. It has been five weeks and still no refund. I was just told it could take another two weeks for me to receive it.

Here is our experience. We bought bedroom furniture approximately 5 years ago. The initial process was pretty pleasant and easy. We are about to finalize the transaction. Then the sales person brings up what amounts to an extended warranty. As usual I dismissed it immediately because I just feel these types of warranties are a waste of money. However, the salesperson wanted to at least explain how it worked. I will summarize to keep things as short as possible. She explained that it would cover any damage basically for any reason for 5 years and if we do not have a claim in those 5 years we would receive a full refund for the amount of the warranty. Like I said I general don't trust these sort of programs so after directly asking the sales person multiple times and at one point even opening my hand pointing at it and saying in 5 years with no claims I will walk out of here with cash in my hand. I was told yes that is correct. So I thought what is the harm in that. I figured the way they must expect to make money on this program is for someone to submit a claim for a tiny scratch or to simply forget to redeem their refund. However my wife and I are quite cheap so we get home and tape a note to the inside of our cabinet door with the date of purchase and the date 5 years later we will be able to receive our refund. The note becomes a running joke for me and my wife. She claims there is always a catch and me saying yes I agree but they can't lie straight to your face. Fast forward 5 years later, my wife calls and explains our 5 year warranty is up and we want to redeem our refund. The person on the phone says, yes but it is 5 years from date of pickup not the date of purchase so we have to wait something like another week. Fast forward a week, we go into the store and again explain why we are there. Now THE TRUTH IS REVEALED. it is not a refund, but an in store credit on a purchase of $500 or more. My wife gives me the look of told you so. I regret to say I wasn't very pleasant with the woman explaining the policy to me. So ma'am if you do read this I apologize, but in my defense I don't take being lied to very well. In reflection I realize it was not she who lied to me so I apologize for that. I have been saying we were directly lied to by one of their sales people, who after 5 years of course no longer works there. I say lie because the way I see it is one of 2 things occurred, either we were directly lied to or the salesperson was ignorant on the policy she was trying to sale. I tend to believe it was a lie. I figured the sales people are being pushed to try and sell as many of these extended warranties as they can. So maybe this was a personal idea of the former salesperson to mislead the customers into thinking it was a true refund or maybe they were subtly encouraged by management to mislead customers. I do not know and never will. Also in fairness the warranty was only $129.99 on what was approximately a $2000 purchase but to me it is the principle of what happened here that matters most. Which in the worst case scenario a salesperson directly lied to us or best case scenario the salesperson was simply ignorant of their own warranty. Either way I strongly encourage anyone considering this store to be careful and should probably steer clear of these warranties and what their salespeople promise. One final tidbit. My sister and brother-in-law made a very similar purchase the very same day and was promised the same cash refund by the same salesperson and after hearing what happened when we tried to redeem our refund has yet to try to redeem hers, but is equally disappointed.
The staff was very friendly, but what I liked the most was that they gave you space while you looked around.
We went to the Ashley’s in Champaign, IL, which was nice but because they're locally owned couldn’t help us with our move to Bloomington, IN. We decided to try the Terre Haute store when we were in town and it went very well. Our sales rep was friendly, explained the process and was able to get it ordered.
They were fast, friendly, and very helpful, until they got my money. Then they decided to change my delivery date to a week later than promised. When they informed of this, it was two days until my original delivery date, and they were unwilling to honor the original deal. Thanks.

I will NEVER EVER spend money in this store again!! I bought a $1,200.00 bed from here in January. it was delivered in February. They were supposed to put the bed together and didn't bring the hardware so couldn't put it together. we ha e had the run around since then. We finally received the hardware but they wont come put the bed together which is part of what I PAID for. Instead I've got a bed in pieces in my bedroom that's just sitting there. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Please anyone who's thinking about purchasing anything from here go SOMEWHERE ELSE! You will be out of money and nothing to show for it!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Took no time at all to find what I wanted in the store. Staff was attentive but not pushy, which is a relief. No one wants to feel like the sales team is circling them like prey while shopping. They did a great job of assisting us in finding what we wanted, giving us space to browse & answered all our questions. Great in-store experience.
Not a good place to shop. Horrible communication between sales and shipping departments. When talking with sales rep, I was given a 6-8 week delivery time. I received a text message from the shipping department and was given 39-41 week wait time. After several calls to the store and the shipping number I was provided, no one would give me a straight answer. My order has been “cancelled” now for 3 days and have still not received my money back. I would recommend staying as far away from this place as possible.
Ordered a headboard from Ashley and of course it's missing a piece maybe if they had an actual store where you didn't have to order your products they would get it right or maybe if their customer service department could speak proper English they'd understand what you're saying ill never order anything again worst waist of my money!!

Don't do it! Bought 2 recliners in December and now I'm on my 3rd attempt (March now) to schedule for delivery. Each time there is some excuse for it not being delivered. No excuse for such poor customer service!
The store and the people working there were fine and the process to pick the bed and pay for it went fine. But I soon found out the nice store was just a front for a very bad run business. I had no issues with the bed taking over a month to get to me, as covid has slowed down all commerce. When the bed was delivered I had paid for it to be assembled by competent workers. But I soon found out that the workers were not the best. The bed showed up with no hardware to put it together. So that group just left it and said that they reported it and another group would have to come with the hardware. That next group showed up several days later and acted like they were just delivering the hardware. I told them that they were to be assembling the bed. They proceeded to do the work. They broke a drawer, stripped screws and basically did a poor job. They took pictures and said someone would have to come out with the new drawer and fix the bed. Several days later a drawer showed up via FedEx which was the wrong one. I called and have yet received any drawer or hardware that was stripped. I took the broken drawer and the wrong size drawer and broken handle back to the store because I was tired of storing their stuff in my garage. The guy in the store said they can't take the stuff as that was another department, but I said tough you are taking this and you are to get in touch with whomever was to pick it up. I called Ashley about my replacement drawer and was told it will be several weeks before it arrives. So order made in December and still waiting just short of March. Just plain pitiful and I recommend everyone just to stay away from Ashley. ***Update*** I called once again to see where my parts were and was informed that they never were ordered because there was no pictures of damaged parts submitted. The guys that installed and broke the bed took pictures and said they would submit them. They never did. So I took more pictures and submitted them myself. Now I am told that it will be April before parts arrive. Pathetic. If I can give a zero rating I would. ***Update*** The Ashley delivery truck arrived today March 25th. I guess it was just the optimist in me that was hoping this long ordeal would be over. Unfortunately Ashley screwed up again. The delivery truck had the wrong bed parts. I even showed the delivery driver the pictures I took of the parts that were missing and he was speechless that the person on the other end of the help line could not even get the order right. The delivery driver took more pictures and called his supervisor. He then told me that Ashley would be in touch about getting me the correct parts. So the saga, the endless saga continues. This is just too unbelievable.

I wish I had checked out more reviews prior to purchasing furniture from Ashley Furniture! We will never shop at their store ever again. We went to our local store in Terre Haute and all the staff was very helpful and friendly. We ordered a couch, loveseat, and TV stand which were all in stock. We set a delivery date out about 2 weeks and waited. We call to check on delivery the day before our scheduled day of Jan 16th. We were told it was on backorder and it would be about 2 weeks to get it in. We were not happy with waiting but understood that things change. So we waited on another phone call which arrived a week later. The automated call said the furniture was in and to setup a delivery date. We were on the road, so my husband called and spoke to a live person who verified our furniture was in. We set a 2nd delivery date of Feb 6th. Once more we waited till the Feb 5th and no messages or call, so we called and were told our order was no longer available and it would be another 2 weeks. I’m not sure how our furniture became available then not in that time fram but we already wasted 6 weeks waiting on the furniture...we would have to wait 2 more weeks and they refunded $150. So yesterday, we get a message that our delivery window was from 11:15 am to 2:15pm. Ok got excited...made arrangements to have our old furniture moved to its new owners. About 9:50am, my husband got a text stating the delivery would be at our house in 10mins. Had to rush to get things finally moved out of the way...but still ok because we would have our new furniture. 30mins roll by...no furniture...then my husband noticed they had missed a 0 in our address....which our rural road is a very short road and the only piece of road with that number in that area...but no one called to say they couldn’t find our address. I call immediately...waited on hold for 20 mins...and was told the driver couldn’t find the address and we will have to reschedule once he gets back to the warehouse. So yes, the address was wrong and we should have caught it sooner but no one called to see if we could give him directions....and second of all...he was outside of our delivery window which fortunately I was home...but that is the reason they give a time frame to make someone is home...to be there for delivery and call if there is a problem!!! The delivery guy wasn’t even on our road...which he did take a picture of the area he was in..but still..not even on our road and no phone call!! They said he may be able to deliver on his way back through if he has time but they can’t make him go back to deliver it!! We are sooo mad!!! My husband is cancelling our order...we do not want anything from Ashley furniture again...
Bought a bed for a Christmas present was told it would be here and surprise it was not. Finally delivery day and it is the wrong stuff. Ok. Things happen not the end of the world. Second fine. Yup wrong again. Yes a third time we are wrong again. So now It’s time to visit the store. The Manager happens to be the sales person that sold us the bed. So she knows exactly what going on. Ok good let’s deal with it. Nope. Not a thing except customer service will call you here soon. At that point I came to a road and went low and the conversation started to turn when I said maybe we should look at a full refund. She then explained the item we ordered originally was one price but this one that we are getting is more and since that’s the case we should be happy with what we got and leave it at that. I was beyond furious to say the least. If it is about price I explained I’ll pay the difference. At that point I walked out. There was nothing left to discuss with the “manager”. Manager staff needs to work on customer service skills. Dealing with upset customers is never easy. How you talk and approach the customer is everything. So here we are again. As of today, 2-20-21 delivery #4 and yet the bed is still wrong..... My suggestion is take your money elsewhere. Go buy airline tickets to Vegas. Gamble and have fun. You will enjoy that better than trying to deal with these people.

They helped us find the entertainment center we were looking for and for an added bonus, we shopped for a new sectional couch for our living room, and when it would not fit in our room, she made it possible to get the couch with different sections so it would fit. Just had our eyes opened today concerning Ashley Homestead. The sales person at the store was very honest that our couch may take so time to receive. We accepted that hoping for the best. We heard other stories concerning Ashley Furniture from more than one family member. We were given a date for delivery and everything we checked we were told to wait another month. The last straw was today. I called two weeks ago. Talked with a live person. They told me to expect a text message on Thursday next week to schedule delivery. That Thursday I got an automated call to schedule for Monday between 1pm and 4pm (today as I am writing this) Then I got 4 more calls to verify the timing. Today my wife and I pulled out the old couch as as we waited I thought I should verify once more. The answer I got from the automation was the couch is not coming for another 3 weeks!!!. I called customer service and they verified it was not coming for another 3 weeks. We canceled the order. They offered $100 dollar check not to cancel. We were not interested in that. Now we are waiting to see how this goes. VERY DISPLEASED! VERY DISAPOINTED! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WILL NEVER DARKEN THEIR DOOR AGAIN!

We went to the store because of the advertised sale. We were looking for a new sofa. They had what we were looking for and matched the online price. The salesman was very nice and answered all of our questions.
Will never go to that store again!! Our bed arrived today and it came without parts!! After waiting over a month we have to wait another week. We live 25 minutes away and tried going to get the pieces and instructions so WE can put it together but no one will answer the phone.

My friends at Ashley hometown in TerreHaute let's say I go out of my way to see them since I leave near Indianapolis but I always receive friendly service with expertise,good advice and accommodating pickup or delivery service I recommend them.If your in TerreHaute check them out or even if your not like me.....update....I even picked up my item at warehouse in plainfield indiana on Feb 2nd just days after visiting store after checking in with cdc guidelines it took less than 10 minutes and the item was in my vehicle headed home basically no wait at all great job Ashley homestore
The staff inside the store were great and very helpful which is the reason this is a 3 star. I bought a couch and a chair October 6th 2020. I was quoted 4 to 6 weeks for it to be delivered. I was assured it would be here before October 30th. That passed and no furniture so I called and got quoated December 1st. That day passed and still no furniture so i called again got quoated December 17th. You guessed it they still didn't deliver, called yet again this time I get quoated January 30th. Here it is January 30th I called to get a estimated time of arrival and guess what I'm told. They have no deliveries going out today part of my sectional couch will delivered February 8th and the other part and the chair will be delivered February 16th. I am at the point I'll believe it when I see it. How do you go from 4 to 6 weeks to 4+ months? My living room has looked like a college kid with no money for furniture lived here since the end of October since I was assured I would have my furniture by then. So disappointed in ashley furniture right now.

I ordered a sectional in January. I was told it would be delivered on February 17th. I wasn't happy with the wait but I accepted that date. Well I called on February 10th to check the status of my order and I'm told it will be delivered on February 24th now... that really upset but it was only another week wait. I call today to check the status of my order and now I'm being told It won't deliver until MARCH 17th. seriously? I just want the sectional I ordered. Im beyond upset and now looking for a sectional elsewhere. Thanks for wasting my time.

Great experience at Ashley Furniture today. The sales lady let us look for a bit then came and told us about the sales going on. She then left us alone to look some more. Because she let us just look without feeling pressured, we ended up buying a mattress, 2 love seats, a recliner, 3 barstools and 4 table chairs. It was great!
Knew what I wanted when I went in and they helped me with exactly that they didn't try to sell me other things. Got in and out in no time. Great service!
The service was great and the prices were acceptable we are pleased with the quality of our products and the time line of getting our product delivery is a very short time even though it has to be shipped in from out of state. We really like having the furniture assembled by their people which saves us time and energy! So all and all we had a great experience.
We had an enjoyable shopping experience at Ashley Furniture. We were not pressured to purchase anything which is very nice. The layout and displays were pleasant and easy to navigate. Plus, they were running a sale which helped us out! This was probably our all-time best furniture shopping experience.

We ordered a sofa in November and were told it would arrive at our house December 30. It didn’t. I called and they said, “Oh, that won’t be here until March.” Do not trust what they tell you and be prepared to wait a long time for your furniture!!!

I went in the store in the beginning of Nov. & showed em a few leather couches from their website, the salesman told me they had some in store & we walked over to look, I decided on my choice & ran over to the bank & paid in cash & in full... THEN once the receipt was printed, then I was told that I'd have it delivered on Dec 23rd, I said you told me you had the couches here, but now I've got to wait???... then I told him I'd be in NY for Christmas and the 23rd wouldn't work for delivery, so he pushed it back to Jan 2nd... TODAY, Now I'm waiting around wondering when the couch is gonna be here, so I call, don't you know now I'm told that it'll be after Jan 13th or 14th now & they're going to call for a delivering day after that... Ashley has no problem sending me 50 email a day to try and get me to buy more stuff, but they can't even deliver the stuff that I've already paid for a few months ago... Needless to say, this will most likely be my 1st & my last time doing business with this company.... I'm ready to just go put the store display couch in my truck & bring that one home, and say the Hell with the waiting for delivery, I could process the cow & sew & hammer my own couch in the time it's going to take to get my purchase 😡

Customer service is a joke. We went to the store to shop for an entertainment center. Was greater at door handed a flyer and told let him know if we had questions. They had a nice center on display with an picture of fireplace that could be added. I found the salesperson and ask for final price with fire place and continued shopping he eventually can Me back to say the fireplace had been discontinued I then ask about another and after finding him again was told the same thing. I ask then why do they still have the ad showing them as available his reply was they my produce then again sometime. Our 3 rd choice had a fireplace. Again after finding him he looked it up to tell me that this too had been discontinued I explained this was very frustrating as this floor model had it installed then he said the center was also not available. I ask if since it was on the floor was it for sale he said no the manager would have to approve and walked off
Ashley Furniture doesn't stand behind the damage their delivery men cause or care they didn't wear masks in my home!! I even sent them videos of the delivery men dragging the boxes, dumping them and not wearing a mask!!! I have emailed called and mailed a letter to the Terre Haute, Indiana store with no reply. Customer service gave me an email for corporate wecare@ashleyhc.com. They replied stating they aren't affiliated with the Terre Haute store. All you will get is the run around. The claim Dept. Has never called to speak with us. The delivery men didn't wear masks in my home, they opened and dumped the boxes on my porch, dragged boxes across my floor and damaged them, then took pictures stating he was covering his butt. The furniture was delivered without the hardware to assemble it. Couldn't order hardware until the next day now we are waiting 7-10 business days for the hardware, then we have to reschedule for the assembly.
Great low pressure atmosphere with a good selection. Only reason for 4 star was that what we chose was not in stock.
My grandparents ordered two chairs and they were supposed to be here yesterday, 12-15-2020 and after not hearing anything and checking on them they said they wouldn't even be in until February. Its also gonna take 30 to 60 days to get the money back for them.

Ordered sectional in July, was told 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. Was told it will be delivered November because of a damaged part. Now they are telling us December. They are making up dates with no commitment to honoring projected delivery dates. Oh, by the way, my husband had to call to check on Sept date, October date, and November date as projected. I wish my yusband would have just cancelled. I like Ashley's price options, but it's not worth the hassle.
my daughter bought me a lift chair from ashley in terra haute after . six months the motor went out . there was a warranty bought after 4 months of waiting there is still no repaired chair the company that was to do the repair has postponed it twice . so my experience was bad with ashley

I ordered furniture 8/22 and am still waiting. I was PROMISED delivery dates multiple times and with a variety of excuses, have no furniture! I have waited on hold multiple times for hours with customer service and have been to the store TWICE and no answers and this latest visit not even a call back. Business is not conducted this way. NO MORE EXCUSES. You would not want to be treated like this.
My husband and I purchased a sofa chase in June. It took longer than expected to be delivered While it was being delivered the movers tore the arm of the sofa. When we went into the store Savannah waited on us. And listened to our frustrations. She was absolutely amazing. She took down all of our information and said she she would do the best that she could to help us. The thing that simply amazed us, was that she wasn't even the one that sold us the product. So there was no commission in it for her. She went to as far to give us her personal phone number. And continued to stay in touch with us,helping us to stay up dated on the progress of our new sofa. Well it is now November and we received our new sofa chase. And we love it. There needs to be more people in the world like Savannah. Helping others and sharing kindness.😊
I made the mistake of spending over 5k at Ashley Furmiture on 8/22/20. After several empty promises of furniture delivery, as of 11/19/20 I have NO Furniture.
Salesman was nice, we found what we needed in our budget, and the bathroom was clean. Only complaint is I wish the salesman would have tried to make our personal budget work more instead of making a big sale and trying for that up sale. We more or less waited on ourselves and he was there to tell us the prices. However the furniture seems nice and I’m looking forward to the delivery.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. IVE BEEN BATTLING THEIR CREDIT AGENCY FPR MONTHS OVER FURNITURE I NEVER RECIEVED OVER PAYMENTS I DIDNT MAKE BECAUSE I CANCELED THE ORDER AFTER THE DISCONTINUED WHAT WE ORDERED. THEY ARE CROOKS.

I am not at all happy with this company I bought a coffe table for $300 3 months ago and keep being told my table will be delivered on a made up date and still have not recieved my table after 5 different phones calls and 5 different delivery date quotes. I dont believe this table is ever coming and that I habe been ripped off. DO NOT EVER SHOP AT ASHLEY!

They talked me into buying a extra 5 year coverage which is bull because it’s with a third party but they don’t tell you that. My couch was damaged and the third party place GVS wouldn’t cover it. So much for a extra 5 years coverage. I will not but buy from them again!!

Horrible service, when you call be ready to be on hold at least 40 minutes, and you can’t call the store, only Customer service. And they are so disconnected from the store they both tell you crazy things. Spent 4K there and after 3 months still am waiting on my furniture. Do your self a favor and go anywhere and I mean anywhere else. They tell you a date to be delivered but that’s a made up date. Just safe yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. I honestly hope this company goes under because they deserve It

The manager Andrew spears is a piss poor manager. He lied to my face then didn’t even have the balls to come back and talk to me. Sales people were nice but once they had their money they were no longer helpful. Lied about when furniture would be delivered... it’s been months and we’re still waiting. Currently using lawn furniture in our living room because we got rid of our old set in order to take in the new. Very frustrated. I’ll never buy anything here again.

Was in Ashley furniture and employee said we were suppose to wear a mask. Told him couldn't wear one due to medical reason. The employee responded unkindly. We walked all over the store. There were several employees present and no one ever asked if they could assist us in finding what we were looking for. Guess they don't care that they missed a sell. By the way - this was the second time we had been and there and they treated us the same way each time. Thought we would give them another chance!! Terrible place!! Won't go back!!

We went there for my Father's Day gift, we were told it would be there here in August, then we heard nothing else. It is now October 5th and I have yet to hear anything. Very unhappy.

Awful customer service from the cooperate number I have been trying since July to get someone to come out and fix my sectional couch that broke. I went into the store and spoke with the manager and he had a girl look up our account and she put a note in and said they would call us for sure the next day. Two weeks later no call and still have not fixed our couch. Ive tried calling again. At this point i want to return the couch and get a full refund. I'm so disappointed it wasn't even 6 months old when it broke on us and a part we don't really sit on much. They have such cute stuff and we wanted to buy another piece for the sectional couch and a dining room table, and bed room set from Ashely but we were waiting to see how the customer service played out. So frustrated and disappointed. Never had a worse item for the price! $$$

Went to buy a new living room set today. Salesperson asked us to leave the store when we told her we were medically unable to wear masks. Given their prices; you know how much they lost on a cash sale! Will never buy from this company again. The State mandates to wear masks exempts people with certain medical conditions but Ashley Furniture chooses compliance over their customers!??!

Went to our local Ashley’s months ago about our broken couch that we,at the time, had for less than a year and have a warranty on. Well, after 2 months they finally sent some out to service it and said we’d know something soon.... well here we are 2 MONTHS since they came and no one has any idea what’s going on! And Ashley’s basically told my husband that since it’s now been over a year since we bought the couch they won’t do anything about it. And I’ve had MANY people complain about the company as well. Everyone keeps giving us a different story about what’s going on and who is supposed to be doing what. Not very satisfied at all.
Update 9-14-2020...after almost 2 months and many many phone calls, finally got the headboard replaced, will never buy from them again after all of this! You deserve zero stars. Bought a bedroom set in from your store in June. Delivery was pushed into July, which was fine. Once it was delivered, we noticed damage to the headboard. We've called and called. Have been on hold for up to 50 minutes only to be disconnected. We Cannot get a hold of anyone at the local store, but did finally get a hold of someone who claimed to be a manager over all Ashley stores in the district. She said she would look Into it. Nothing! We've heard nothing! She also said we shouldn't contact the store We got it from. We will be visiting to store to get something done. I want my damaged headboard replaced! Next stop is the BBB. Terrible customer service!

I am for one, someone who doesn’t like to be pressured into making a large purchase. I like to go in, try a few things out, visualize it in my head and then purchase if I come to that conclusion. I felt that at Ashley Furniture, they supported that type of shopping. I didn’t feel pressured into seeing what I didn’t want to. My wife and I spent probably 1.5 hrs checking out different things until we concluded what we wanted. Great experience both from actual furniture and the support staff that didn’t continually bug to try to pressure a sale!

Okay update to a 1 star because I've called and left voicemail about 100 times and they never return my calls or answear my calls 😒😳😡. Never will I order from here again. We bought a pair of recliners and a couch in June. We have two recliners. Where is the couch?? Promised delivery many times, took time off from work! No couch! Now I can’t even get anyone to talk to me! So disappointed! I DO NOT RECOMMEND based on communication!
We have been waiting for our couch since June! Understand Covid delays. However, do not call and schedule delivery one day and then cancel the same day! We have even been told it was damaged in transit so they cannot deliver! I am so disappointed! I can not get anyone to call me back! If I ran my business this way I would not have any customers! I was told they build their own! So it takes more than 5 months to build a couch but only two weeks for a recliner?? I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM ASHLEY!

I asked for the corporate number, district number and her manager's number, but she refused to give me any more information or help in any way. I won't ever purchase anything at Ashley furniture because of the TERRIBLE customer service. Once they get your money, Ashley Furniture doesn't want anything more to do with their customers. Don't shop at this place or any other Ashley Furniture store.

A little pricy for furniture but they helped me find an amazing bed that I have no doubt will help me sleep. They were knowledgeable about sleep and willing to help with the entire process. If i could give this less than one star i would. Unfortunately, I was very unhappy with my experience with Ashley. From the local Terre Haute store to corporate, it’s been some of the worst customer service I’ve received from a business. I had called corporate customer service about some questions (as that was the number listed on my purchase receipt) and after several days of calling and waiting several hours with no answer finally got people to start answering. I received a different answer from every person I spoke to. A question that was about their policy, which is clearly outlined on their website. I continued to receive the run around from almost every person I spoke to. One individual sent a note to my local store to have the manager call me. I never received a call but learned, after calling customer service back a few days later, the manager answered my question directly to them rather than calling me. I still have not been able to contact the local store manager. I also tried emailing the email listed, twice, and never heard a response from them. Truly some of the worst customer service I’ve received and I don’t know that I will shop Ashley again after this experience.

My husband and I purchased a bedroom set on June 30, 2020. We were told that delivery was scheduled for 8/1/2020. As that date approached I got a call telling me they needed to reschedule for 8/4/20 but the foot board would not be done until 8/11/2020. I told them to just bring it all on 8/11 since you can’t put the bed together without the foot board. As that date approached I got a text stating that my delivery was set for 8/10. I called and asked what was going on since I had scheduled it for 8/11 and was told foot board wouldn’t be ready until then. This person then told me that it wouldn’t be ready until the 15th. I expressed my frustration with them and she told me that she was putting in a ticket for it to be put on rush and that once that ticket was opened someone would call me within 24 hours. Well a week passed and on 8/13 I called them. She also told me that they just scheduled the appointments and had no control over anything else. She would not let me speak to her supervisor. And each of these calls I was on hold for at least 20 minutes before someone would answer. This person told me that there was no record of anyone putting in a ticket and didn’t even know what that was. She told me that she did not have a supervisor and that she was as high up as I could go. Also told me that my order was not ready and would not deliver on the 15th. In between all of these calls I had tried to reach the store and left messages to call me back and no one would answer or call me back. After talking to this last person I found my sales persons email. I emailed her and she did reply and said that she was showing product would be in to their local warehouse on the 14th but would get with someone to confirm that. While waiting that day and the next I got an email asking me to choose the 19th, 20th or 21st for delivery. I emailed my sales person and told her that. She told me that she was showing order now would not be ready until the 19th. Tired of being lied to and don’t trust them to honor warranty even if I finally got furniture. Last night I went to store and canceled my order. If I don’t get my refund I will be disputing charges with my bank. We purchased a dresser online back in May. Received it and opened the box and it was damaged! Looked like it had been dropped off the truck! Took a MONTH to finally get it picked up. Kept getting the run around and they said we can only give you a 15% discount to use online. I will never buy online again! Horrible customer service. I was the only one who did all the calling, not one person from the company called me about my damaged items!

Same issue as everyone else! Ordered furniture in June, 2 recliners and a couch. Received delivery of one recliner. Two weeks later recliner number two 2.5 months and two vacation days still no couch! I will be stopping in the store Saturday to discuss this in person.

Canceled my order went to Richie's in ashmore bought American made lazy boy instead! Also was told they were independently owned and it could take 2 months to get my money refunded. I ordered Furniture in March of 2020. It was suppose to be delivered the first week of June. Half of my furniture was delivered and when i tried calling, i couldn&'t get into contact to anyone at the store to find out information on my order. Every time I call it sends me to an automated message and the phone just rings and the call eventually drops. I live about an hour from Terre Haute and had to drive there every time to get information. I asked them why no one answers and they always say &"our phones are down&". The other half of my order was suppose to get delivered 3 times and never did, due to shipping and warehouse issues. On the last time my order was suppose to be shipped, Ashley Furniture sent me a text saying your order is being delivered this week. Then we waited all day for the shipment the date the text read and it NEVER came. We never got notified that it wouldn&'t be coming. So to get any information on our order and had to drive back to Terre Haute once again. It seems like every time they said our order would be delivered, they would call the day before an say it would only be one item from our order. Do NOT shop here!!! Save yourself the time and effort. Simply just shop elsewhere!

I ordered a couch in April. They kept scheduling a delivery date then canceling. Finally on July 28th, 2 months after ordering, I got a 3rd of the couch delivered with no set date as to when the rest would show up. I sent it all back. Horrible place to buy from and good luck trying to get ahold of customer service.

Customer service was good in store. But to reach anyone regarding delivery on line or by phone has been impossible. They say they will not deliver with out my conformation but I can not get hold of anyone to confirm. So I have no idea when or if I will get my furniture.so right now I'm not very happy.
The first girl we delt with was great. We left to have dinner but came back to look again when we were finished. When we returned two men were working, we had to ask fo help but ultimately chose a piece of furniture. We offered to come back the next day because it was past closing and they assured us it was fine. We checked out and came home. I questioned why it was so high. Upon further review they charged $550 for a warranty we didn’t want. We called to have it removed but after an hour waiting on hold my husband drove to the store to fix it. They couldn’t give us a refund but instead applied a payment to what we had financed. Hopefully things get better and once or furniture is actually delivered we will be much happier with our experience.

Savannah was great, however it was extremely disappointing to spend an hour in the store to find out that there is 0 in stock inventory in Terre Haute, after making it clear I HAD to buy something and wanted it immediately. It also needs to be known that because of this lack of inventory you're also required to pay an additional $50 charge to have it shipped, and dropped off still in the box.

I am EXTREMELY upset with Ashley Furniture, and plan to never buy anything from this store again! Me and my fiancé had been wanting a new bed! We went above and beyond and got the tempur pedic. Ashley’s was great until we signed the papers for the purchase. When we got our bed delivered it was missing the remote and the bed frame. We tried to call customer service and went to the store and no one seems concerned! They have not called us and it’s been a week and we even went into the store a second time and the person who is supposed to call us was not in, an the guy who sold it to us did not seem concerned only telling us it takes 72 hours! It’s been a week!!!!!! Yesterday I got the bill in the mail and haven’t even got our entire purchase! Not professional, lack of communication, and lack of concern for their customers! Should have went somewhere else.
Bought a table and four chairs along with protection plan. One month later, one of the legs broke from pulling it out to sit down. Contacted Ashley Furniture, they said to contact warrany company, warranty said that they dont cover structural damage only burns, fading, gouge marks. So if you do go there DO NOT buy protection plan. Then I bought a chair by itself from their website $116 and when it arrived one of the legs were cracked. Tried to email them multiple times without response. Filed case with Paypal and to get a refund I had to ship it back. $51 to ship it back to get my $116 back. I would give ZERO stars if possible.
Best furniture buying experience ever! Was greeted and asked if needed help as soon as entered store. Samantha was extremely courteous when told we were just looking around no hassle or anything, just let us browse at our own pace until we found the perfect furniture for our home. As soon as we knew what we wanted she was extremely helpful and informative in helping us the entire way. Would definitely recommend!!!!!!
Lacie at the Terre Haute, IN store did a great job answering all of my questions. The prices were fair, and overall the experience was excellent. You now have to pay to have shipped to your house, as they will not ship to the store which was disappointing, but I would buy here again!
Tried to call several times to set up an appt, no one ever answered, but made an appt online for the same day and received a confirmation immediately. Was greeted upon entrance, told them we had an appt., and Kevin Simpson came immediately to help us, answered all our questions, and even showed us new arrivals in the back room. Very pleasant shopping, no hassles, no pressure, knew his product. Hope the delivery goes just as smoothly.
Kylee was great. We told her what we were looking for and she took us right to it . She answered all are questions and did it all with smiling eyes (she was wearing a mask). We had been to 3 other stores but found the perfect sofa and loveseat at Ashley in Terre Haute.
VERY FRUSTRATED! I ordered a whole bed set and paid in full. A few days later they randomly charge my card more. I try to online chat, can't get anyone to chat with me. I obviously can't go in because of COVID-19. I email, and still have not heard back. I have called every single day and wait forever and cannot get through to anyone. I finally did today, they answered and hung up on me. This is fraud and I guess I will go to my bank now to get my money back that they stole. For no reason should my card have randomly been charged more days after I ordered. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!
So we ordered a bed frame with a headboard from Ashley Furniture & it is the worst piece of furniture I have ever purchased! The side boards were messed up so they would not latch on the head board & that made all the other pieces off. We spent most of the day taking things out of the bedroom just to put everything back in it because we received trash 😡🤬
Actually I would give Ashley furniture a 0 stars rating... we ordered our furniture on February 15th... it was delivered on March 5th... everything came except the shelves for the TV cabinet... they were ordered but still have received ... ALSO on the 5th the bridge and sliding doors for the entertainment center were damaged, and returned... they were supposed to deliver them on the 12th of March but the order was postponed on your end ... and rescheduled for the 19th of March ... they were delivered and AGAIN DAMAGED !!! They were delivered again today and AGAIN DAMAGED !!! THIS RIDICULOUS !! I have called and called today ... have been hung up on twice by a customer service person , one after I had told her what I was calling about ... said “ ma’am what is it that you want me to do ???? WHAT ??? I want my damn furniture !!!! And not damaged
I must have Accidentally given then a 5 star in my previous review. We ordered our bedroom set on Black Friday. It was said that it would be delivered two to three weeks later. We did not get it delivered to us until mid February after many calls and my boyfriend going into the store a couple times. They kept pushing back delivery date. When we finally got our furniture there were scratches and what looked to be little stains in random areas on the dresser. The mirror is connected yet has felt sticking out in areas I’m not able to move or take off. I love the bedroom set itself and after waiting so long to get it, I didn’t want to cancel or send back because I was 9 months pregnant and could not wait any longer on a bed and dresser. With the price we paid, we expected it to be delivered when they said it would be along with no damage when set up. With all the negative things being said, the sales guy was very friendly, helpful and patient when it came to listening to my boyfriend and I argue on which set we wanted. That’s the only positive thing I honestly have to say.

Answer your phone would be a start. Hire competent employees. Also, when you say something is going to be delivered on a certain day it should be there. Terrible place to do business!! Will never shop here again!! Save yourself the frustration and take your money elsewhere!!! Also would be nice to speak with someone higher up at the corporate office instead of getting email addresses that no one emails you back from!
Customer service HORRIBLE after the sale. Spent over 4000 on bedroom suite. We were promised a delivery date with everything but the nightstands being delivered. 48 hours before delivery get a confirmation saying that only dressers and bed rails being delivered no foot board no head board. Long story short. Lied to several times during conversations. Absolutely dont buy from this store.

We ordered an $8,000 order and waited two weeks for it and were told we would receive a 30min to an hour courtesy call before the truck got to our house. They only called when they were in our driveway and then wouldn’t wait for me to get home even though their next delivery was only 3 miles away and they didn’t even have the courtesy to give us our “warning” call. They then proceeded to not answer their phone from dispatch and never came back to our house and we were told we would have to wait longer for delivery and that it wasn’t their fault even though I was promised by three people that they do a warning call. Needless to say we immediately drove to the store and asked for a refund. I will spend my $8000 elsewhere. Their delivery driver lost them a huge sale today when it could’ve been avoided by DOING THEIR JOB
WARNING.....Never purchase anything from Ashley Furniture (Terre Haute) or anywhere for that matter. We had one of the worse experiences with them. After we made our purchase with them (our 1st time buying from them) and waiting on them to deliver. We talked to 4 other people who had dealt with them and had nothing but negative comments about them. Hoping that our experience would be different we sat and waited. Well I have to say it was horrible, the 1st delivery 2 weeks later we had busted furniture and also the totally wrong furniture too. So on the next (2nd) delivery (2 weeks later) we had 2 pieces to be delivered, we only received one and they didn’t know anything about the other piece. This was after they called telling us they were delivering both pieces. So after calling and trying complain but getting no where or did they even apologize or even acted like they cared we get another 3rd delivery date (today) So finally we received the last piece of furniture today this has been since January. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!...and their customer service is absolutely terrible to deal with !!! 😡
DO NOT Get furniture from this place. The furniture is junk and the employees are incompetent!!! The Terre Haute store won't even answer a phone!! Our furniture broke as soon as it got here. We have been given replacement parts and replacement furniture that still broke. Now that we picked different furniture since ours could not be replaired, we can't get it delivered. We have been told it will be delivered every week for the last 3 weeks. Over it.

I DO NOT recommend buying anything from Ashley! I have never had such horrible customer service from a store or company! We bought a very expensive bed as well as the protection service however attempting to file a claim for a repair is impossible! The store in Terre Haute will not even answer the phone, we've been trying for over an hour.

Worst experience ever. I ordered bedroom furniture on December 13th. Scheduled delivery date was January 4th. They waited until January 4th to call me and let me know all the furniture wasn’t in. They delivered what was in and stated they were waiting on bed rails. I have 3 other delivery dates. Finally, the 4th delivery date February 26th, they were suppose to be here between 2-5 here it is almost 830 and they’re still not here. DO NOT ORDER FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and NO ONE know anything.

I went here looking at beds because I was moving in a month. I wasn't ready to buy, but they happened to have a sale that weekend and the salesperson talked me into going ahead and purchasing one for a later delivery. I said at the time that I was worried the bed was too big for the room and I was assured I would have no problem canceling it if it didn't work out. Turns out I found the room dimensions and it was. I had to call and cancel it 2 days later. I called the call center who told me to call the store directly,. I spoke to someone who told me they would cancel the bed. but it would take up to 3 weeks to refund my money. I was irritated it would take 3 weeks, when it was only purchased 2 days prior and not scheduled to be delivered for 5 weeks (that's the timeframe the store gave me). I used online chat to express this with the Company, but after my intial complaint, the person who I was talking to, stopped responding. I was very nice in my messages. So, flashforward 2 1/2 weeks and no peep from the store, no money refunded, so I call.... 2 days in a row, no one answers the phone (one time someone picks up and immediately hangs up).I leave a voicemail asking for a call back, no one does. I have been in this store on 4 or 5 occasions and there have been literally 4 - 6 salespeople lounging on chairs, sofas etc, each time.. but no one can answer the phone. I call the corporate number and I am told they cannot help me, but will email the store and have them call me by the next day. Surprise no one called me, I call the store, no one picks up, so I finally just get in the car and drive the 35 minutes to the store. I ask for a manager, and I am informed that the reason I haven't been refunded the money is because no one canceled the order until the day before, but good news, I should have my money within 3 weeks (which will now be more like 6 or 7)! And no one was going to call me. I question how this whole thing ended up this way and the manager gets huffy with me and says the person who does all this has been out with a sick family member. (it's absolutely not her fault). BUT, we just have no one do the job for weeks on end? or better yet, I counted 7 employees sitting around the store when I arrived and one car in the parking lot, why does no one answer the phone? I am not really happy with this store, when you are a potential sale, people are coming out of the woodwork to help you, following you around etc... once you swipe your card, that's a whole different story. This is the last time I shop at Ashley (for the record, I bought other things besides the bed and I didn't cancel them).
Have bought here a couple times now. Great service and they always go out of their way to give me a great deal, Will continue to buy here.

Paid in full for furniture on Nov 11 2019 received partial delivery on Jan 29 2020 with a damaged item and have yet to get ahold of a repair company to come fix the issue. Still waiting on second partial delivery to complete our order. How is this furniture store still operating? Worst experience ever!
We stopped in just to look around for living room furniture. Savannah greeted us right away and made us aware of some specials that were taking place. She told us to take our time, look around and she would be there if we had questions. No pressure, no big sales pitch. We did find exactly what we were looking for and Savannah did a great job of explaining all our options and took good care of us. We are looking forward to enjoying our new furniture once it is delivered.

We were very pleased with our recent (and first) shopping experience at Ashley Furniture. We entered the store with a list of requirements for the size and other features we required of a sofa. We were greeted immediately and assisted in finding the perfect sofa for us. Our sales representative knew exactly which sofas would meet our list of must haves from the vast amount of choices available which saved us time and narrowed our search. She was very informative about the care of the fabric, features, and delivery/setup . It was a stress-free shopping experience and we are delighted with our new sofa.
VERY rude customer service on the phone. I order 3 pieces from the floor and they brought me a different set. I only noticed after I had taken them out and started setting it up. Already took 2 weeks 2 days to deliver, Meanwhile I had gotten rid of my old set and had no chairs to sit on. So I went back and they reordered, which took another 2 weeks and some few days. 2 days before the delivery, they called to let me know it will be between 8:20 - 11:00am (as if you don't work). I called to reschedule and that was where my nightmares worsened; aside the very RUDE lady on the phone, who spoke to you like you were a nobody, she showed no concern about the dissembled pieces taking space in your living room (a child safety hazard brewing), and kept insisting you either waited another two weeks or don't waste her time. I'm thinking of just loading a pickup and dumping them at the store. Find a better store for your furniture.
I tried calling the Terre Haute, Indiana store on numerous occasions in a week's time (two separate calls I waited on hold for over 20 minutes) and could never get a live person. I even left voicemails begging for a call back, but never received one. I finally had to go into the store to get what I was needing. While in the store there were numerous employees doing NOTHING. I don't understand how I could not have gotten the courtesy of a call back or someone to answer the phone. Very disappointed and will not consider shopping there again. Too bad for them because I am shopping to furnish a home with new furniture.

Come January 24th STILL NO FURNITURE. They refused to unload the truck because of mud. Didn’t even attempt to use the HUGE walkway we have straight to our door. Absolute horrible service. The delivery guys were so rude to both me and my fiancé. We expressed how important it was to have furniture because we have a baby coming in 4 days and they told us it wasn’t “their” problem and drove away. Ashley furniture is the most incompetent furniture company in the business. From rude customer service, to delayed and separated deliveries, to damaged furniture delivered. The entire experience has been a nightmare. Failed delivery, after they were supposed to deliver on Thursday. Then on Friday got lost and sent one text. We responded and dropped a pin for location and then nothing for the rest of the day. Still don’t have the furniture, and took two days off work to accommodate their schedule, and no show, no call. The pieces we did receive were damaged. WARNING!!!! Don’t ever buy from Ashley Furniture.
On the 28th of Nov., I spent over $5000 at this store and promised delivery on the 4th of Dec.. 2 days later they called and said, ain&'t gonna happen. Furniture delivered on the 9th of Dec... The recliner arrived damaged. Called them back and they would send out a repairman (he arrived 2 hours late) on the 16th.. The repairman said the chair can&'t be fixed. Didn&'t hear back from Ashley&'s for 4 days, so I called them to see what was going on? They told me I would get a new chair on the 9th of January. But on the 8th of January, I got a text saying the chair did not arrive in the warehouse, so it would be January 30th before I got a new recliner. Then today January 9th I got a text saying your recliner would be there in 30 minutes, WTF? Chair arrived.... Never going back to Ashley&'s
we bought a 3000 dollar sectional from them less than a year ago and its falling apart. and guess what! the warranty we paid for doesn't cover it.

We were skeptical from the start because we had not heard good things; however we ordered a sectional, chair, and two ottomans and got them delivered on time. We were very happy, but then things went down hill. My son's cat peed on our new sectional and we tried everything to clean it and it still has not come out. I went to Ashley and told them what happened, told them I knew it was not a warranty issue and that I wanted to buy two replacement cushions. The lady took my information and told me I would get a phone call in a week and then could come in an pay for it. Never heard anything! I went in today and spoke to the manager, first let me just say I wasn't impressed, the manager came out and just looked at me and didn't say a word. I started to explain why I was there and wanted to check in and see what was going on. I told her I understood it had been the holidays and maybe that's why I hadn't heard anything, she didn't respond. After asking me a set of questions that made it fairly clear that my request had never been put in, she looks at me and says my assistant will be here at 5 and I will have her call you as soon as she gets here. I've heard nothing from either of them. I was very confused why the manager couldn't take care of this. I felt like I was bothering her and she could care less. How hard is it to order me two new cushions, let me pay for them, and get them here. The saddest part of all of this - the manager told me two months ago when we bought the furniture if we ever had a problem to come to her first and she would make it a priority to get things taken care of. I did what she told me to do and instead of priority service, I got second hand service with 0 results. Very disappointed in what could have been a 5 star experience.
When we retired last year from Las Vegas to Indiana. , we bought our new furniture from Ashley Furniture in Terre Haute. We were told they would come and fix it. That didn&'t happen. We went there again to buy our dining room furniture. We decided to buy it for our Christmas to each other. The table was delivered. A couple of days later we decided it was time to put our table together. We find out we have no hardware to put the table together. That was the first of December. We still don&'t have the hardware. We have called and called. Today we called to find out it&'s back ordered and won&'t be shipped until the third week in January. I found this table and chairs online. Ashley said not to buy it online because we would have parts missing. Well Ashley did to us what they accused Amazon would do to us. They have a terrible return and their furniture isn&'t guaranteed. But Amazon has a wonderful guarantee. We should have stayed with them.
Lester helped us. He greeted us at the door and asked if we needed help. He took us to the recliners that we wanted to look at. He told us to look around. Try the chairs out and if we had any questions or needed help, he would be there. He checked on us several times and answered all of the questions we had. We purchased the recliners and found that he had only been working there for two weeks. He did a very good job.
My wife and I went into Ashley Homestore in Terre Haute 12/31/2019. We were quickly greeted by Michael Graham. Michael asked what we were looking for and then showed us where it was located in the store. He came back later and answered any and all questions we had on the couch we were looking at. This was a very good experience. No high pressure salesperson and quality furniture.
Staff was great again. Very helpful. Very easy to deal with. We needed a new bed. All set, free delivery that awesome.
I will never shop from this store again. Horrible experience. Never even got the item that I ordered. Eventually had to cancel my order. Oh well. I do not recommend shopping at this store.

Read this entire review. People who work here are so nice, I just wish this company was ran better. We purchased a complete living room set. Was told shipping and set up was 2 weeks out. So 2 days before delivery was due, we had all of our old furniture removed and donated to Charity. The day of delivery had arrived, the delivery company dispatch called and said that they were delayed. They were supposed to be here between 11am and 2pm. At around 9pm they called back and said the delivery team would be in the area around 11:00pm. I told their dispatch this was to late as I had to be at work at 6am and set up a different day and time for delivery. Around 2am my dogs started barking and my phone started ringing, it was the delivery guys, "we are in your driveway ready to set up your living room". WHAT!!!!. So I opened the door and let them know what I told their dispatch. They said they were never told. So I went ahead and let them start setting things up. First thing the wrong recliner was brought in and quickly removed. The correct recliner was brought in. The wrong coffee table was brought in and quickly removed. Two mismatched end tables were brought in, had to send one back. And no couch was sent with the delivery. 2 lamps that were correct were delivered. They said customer service would call me back and set up a time to deliver the missing and correct items. By this time it was almost 4am, I was supposed to be at work at 6 so I called in. Rediculous. 3 days later CS called, the couch was on backorder and was at least 3 weeks out. The coffee table was discontinued and we would have to go back to the store and pick another one out. This messed up our selection of end tables and had to return the ones we wanted and pick others out. Just waiting and waiting and waiting for stuff to be delivered was rediculous. Finally after 2 months we had everything. About a month after all was in our couch cushions started to split on one of the seams. Once again called CS. They sent a apolstry person out to fix it 3 weeks later. It just got worse from there. He said it was not repairable and new cushion covers would have to be sent. And then installed. They arrived later on but by this time the seams had begun to split on the love seat also. So I called CS again and they had me get the numbers off the loveseat and sent the new covers a couple weeks later. I called CS again to set up a time to get the repairs done. They informed me that I was responsible for the cost of the labor because the guy that came out originally said the seams split because of abuse. I lost my mind. I'm so over this company. Really really take a step back and think about it before you buy from Ashley.
Fantastic customer service with quality selection and good pricing! As soon as you walk in the door someone is there to help you. Kayla Becker is the one who helped me and the dogs and I love the new furniture! She took the time to deal with me for about 3 days and no complaint. She was more than happy to help and I’m glad she did. I would definitely recommend anyone to shop at Ashley Furniture!

Terrible customer service! Don't cancel an order you paid for because you will never get your money back. Canceled my order the very next day and still no refund. Should take 3-5 business days on a refund at most. Not a month! Then they charge a 10% restock fee on an item that never was pulled out of stock. CROOKS!!!!! I'd give no stars if the option was there.
I gave this store a second chance after having a bad experience 4 years ago. I think a change in management made this a better experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

We went to the store in Terre Haute and they did not have the particular loveseat in stock for us to look at but they said they had one that was very, very similar and we could look at it. We looked at it, sat in it and liked it so we bought the one they said was identical to this piece, true sight unseen...Two weeks later, after it was delivered, the people that delivered it did not even give us a chance to look at it to see if it was right. They told us to sign the paper so they could leave. We did not know that after we signed the paper, we would never be able to return it. It was not at all what we were told it would be. It’s nowhere close to what they said. I contacted the store and told them that this was not the right piece and they said there was absolutely nothing they could do at this point and for me to call the customer service number. I called the customer service number and got bounced around on like 10 to 15 separate phone calls. The customer service member told me there was nothing that they could do, that I had to go through the store. I went back to the store and she said that her hands were tied. I have never in my life dealt with such terrible customer service ever. We were then told, we could do a re-select and pick another piece but we would have to pay a 10% re-stocking fee, we would not get back the $149.00 delivery charge and we would have to pay an additional delivery charge for another loveseat. Yet again, purchasing something sight unseen. Now, we are either being forced to keep the one that is not what we were told it was or pay an additional $1,000 to upgrade to another loveseat. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IN TERRE HAUTE!!!!!!

I contacted the store and told them that this was not the right piece and they said there was absolutely nothing they could do at this point and for me to call the customer service number. I called the customer service number and got bounced around on like 10 to 15 separate phone calls. The customer service member told me there was nothing that they could do, that I had to go through the store. I went back to the store and she said that her hands were tied. I have never in my life dealt with such terrible customer service ever. We were then told, we could do a re-select and pick another piece but we would have to pay a 10% re-stocking fee, we would not get back the $149.00 delivery charge and we would have to pay an additional delivery charge for another loveseat. Yet again, purchasing something sight unseen. Now, we are either being forced to keep the one that is not what we were told it was or pay an additional $1,000 to upgrade to another loveseat. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IN TERRE HAUTE!!!!!!
I previously had furniture from Ashley for the past 5 yrs. I decided to upgrade, went back to Ashley Furniture in Terre Haute. I ordered new furniture, first delivery date 11/21/19, then they changed it to 11/26/19. I waited for their call to deliver 11/25/19. I did not receive a call, waited on 11/26/19 no call, no furniture. I called and asked and told no furniture scheduled to be delivered with their Customer Service out of Tennesee, called twice. I called Terre Haute and was told furniture shipped was damaged. I asked why i was not notified and they said i should have been by their Corporate office. Supposedly, i am supposed to get free delivery and additional discount, manager told me this but he has yet to return my calls. We were hosting Thanksgiving and only kept a 2 person love seat and moved previous couch and recliner to my daughters to make way for new furniture. Now, no one returning calls, no furniture and have left multiple messages at Terre Haute. Very frustrated.

The people at this store work on commissions. You would never know it! Our salesman Nick, who helped us as we bought our power couches, was knowledgeable and very personable! He knew all about our furniture we were wanting. Went back for a TV stand with fireplace insert. I talked with him about it. Next time I went in, it was Nick’s day off. Kylie came to help me. She was great even knowing Nick was our salesperson. I love the personable feel of the store. Nick, Kylie, and Andrew were top notch! If they didn’t know an answer, they found out on the computer! I have a new favorite furniture store!! Good quality furniture and people!!
Terrible place to get furniture. The only way to contact them is by going in person because they clearly don't understand the concept of answering the phone. After being assured in person about being approved for a credit card and making a purchase, they sent out the card in the mail followed by a denial letter. What the heck? Then when you try to call and get clarification and ask questions, NO ONE is available to speak to and it's somehow an endless cycle of "I don't know" or no one answers the phone. Then, when they deliver damaged furniture, it's an ordeal to have them bring replacements. The driver was 2 hours late and couldn't follow simple directions to the home, which added to the mix. To top it off, not a single apology was given. Not surprised. Go anywhere else BUT this joke of a store. You can get better service at your local McDonald's.
This is our second purchase from Ashley Homestore. We have been very satisfied with the quality of the items along with the price of the items. We have dealt with Michael Graham both times and have been very pleased. He is a great salesman and gets you what you need without badgering you on unwanted things. The delivery guys have been awesome and very polite and respectful. We will definitely return.
I spoke different employees over a 3 day timeframe trying to order replacement parts. The call center directed me to the store and stated that only the store orders, I waited on the phone an extended amount of time for the representative who reassured me the parts were available for ordering at the store. I went to the store, staff proceeded to argue with me and tell me I was wrong they don't order anything. I called the call center again who argued and hung up on me, I went back to the store who called the call center and now I have to once again contact the call center. It shouldn't be this hard. Customer service is extremely poor.

Purchased a bed on 10/25 and was told it would ship in 2 weeks or so. They took out the full payment at that time. Called on 11/7 to inquire the status and was told it was scheduled to be in their warehouse in January...2021!!! What?? In 15 months? And now they want to charge me a restocking fee for cancellation and take 2-3 weeks to issue a refund!
I am not impressed at all with this furniture store. When I arrived at the store I was greeted immediately by a friendly staff person (older gentlemen) who seemed to know exactly what I was looking for after speaking to me for a few minutes. Quite quickly I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. It appeared to be a decent quality and the prices were good. That is where anything positive about my experience ends. I was seated at a dining room table to check out. I was expecting to be there about 10 to 15 minutes with the paperwork. WRONG! I was there for TWO BLOODY HOURS to just pay for the furniture. The salesman had no idea what he was doing and I was patient thinking he was new. He was NOT new, just incompentant. He hunted and pecked his way through the ordering process, then he had no clue how to take a check. After I was finally thinking I was done, he forgot to add the stools to the island I had ordered. SO, back wasting another 45 minutes of my day. I should have walked out then, but I didn't. I was promised a delivery date of 11/5/19 for everything that I ordered. Well, that day has come and gone and it is NOT here. They delivered a few pieces of the order, nothing in a complete set. (I ordered a bedroom suite, a dining room table and chairs, occasional tables, a kitchen island and stools). Now I have to wait until they arrive which is who knows when. I tried to cancel the order and go someplace that actually would like a repeat customer, but they charge you to do that. Think long and hard if you actually want what you buy to arrive in any decent amount of time, and if you don't want lied to, etc. . If you don't want a similiar experience, 1, go somewhere else. If you do opt to gamble on this place, make sure your salesperson is a WOMAN. That way you are certain to avoid the guy I had. I won't mention his name, but his initials are Dennis.

My husband and I visited your store last night 11/5/19. As I read the first couple of reviews, I cannot help but laugh. First of all, we were told there was no way they would honor the online price. Not even give us a discount on the four barstools. At the time, I didn't even realize the sectional we were interested in was $400.00 less online. We were also told that if we wanted a discount on the shipping fee we could drive to Plainfield, Indiana and pick up our furniture ourselves. They handed us a card when we came into the store advertising $100 off or 6 years interest fee financing. When we picked out our pieces we were not even offered the 6 year free financing, which they had handed us materials on. They also told us that we had no choice on the protection policy if we wanted to finance. We had to include it and pay for it. They also noted that we had to pay 10 percent down if we financed. He was going to charge us 380.00 for the protection plan. We were the only people in the store which would indicate to me that had plenty of time to give us their attention. Four employees standing at the service desk. After we looked around for about 30 minutes, I asked the older gentleman, who kind of waited on us, if they had any lamps like the one I pointed to, in a smaller version. His response was all of our lamps are out on the floor. I asked if they had a sofa table to match the sectional we picked out. His response was ,we have buffets not sofa tables. He had 3 hours left before closing, but apparently no time to point out any tables. He simply said they are located throughout the store. When he told us no discount for online price, mandatory protection fees, if we want a discount on shipping, go pick up ourselves, no 6 year financing and hidden down payments. We left the store never to return. There was one couple in the store when we got there at 5:10, no one else the entire time we were there. Rude customer service is a big incentive for me not to buy from your store. If you want more business, you should at least try to be polite and helpful. This is not the first time I have had rude customer service at this store, but it is the last. I wish I could give this store zero stars, because that is what it deserves.
I was in search of a new recliner on limited funds. The sales person went above and beyond to help me. Not only was I satisfied I was also able to purchase the matching sofa . I would definitely go back to shop for anything else I might need in the future.
This is one of my first big purchases for my new place and I was a little nervous trying to find the right fit for what I wanted, could afford, and just felt right for my style. Luckily, my new BFF Lacie was there to help me out and show me a few different couch options, taking into account color, size, and mostly importantly: STYLE! She was able to help me find a couch and ottoman combo (something I hadn’t considered before) to will suit my needs perfectly. The entire crew at Ashley is always so pleasant to work with and I’m happy to have them on my side. 👍🏼

Savannah pointed us in the right directions and gave us time to consider our options without being pushy. Eventually she showed us to the perfect set for us and made the buying process stress free. Horrible paid for my furniture 3 months ago still haven't received everything. Ordered a 3 peace sectional only got 2 peaces 3rd peace was charged wrong they charged me for same peace twice it took me looking into my bill and fighting with warehouse side to figure our the store over charged and ordered same peace on my ticket. That was at the month part it's still be another month no last peace save ur self time go buy from them

After many speculations on what type of mattress I thought I wanted I gave a different one a try that the guy recommended after I explained what I wanted. It was a hit! I loved it! The only hiccup was delivery was delayed 3 days since a piece of furniture didn’t arrive. But they delivered set up and took away the boxes, what more could I ask for? We love our new bedroom furniture! They did an amazing job!!!

Guaranteed delivery time of 2:30-4:30. No sign of anyone at 7:30 PM. Killed an entire Saturday afternoon waiting on them. I guess we should have read the reviews before buying. What a joke.
I would give them a zero if I could. They have terrible customer service, when you call to ask questions no one can answer them correctly. They change there answer over and over. Managers aren’t available in store. The girl “manager” Chris is rude, and told me 3 different excuses. But couldn’t do anything to change the course had to get approval from another manager. Whom won’t be there for days. What is the point of being a “manager” if you can’t make any decisions, or rectify situations? It’s all around a joke. I wouldn’t recommend my enemy to buy from them it’s been such a mess.

The customer service at this store was fine until it came to time to check out. I bought 2 lamps which are to be shipped to me. I am going to assume at this point that all will go well with the shipment. I have a very large issue with the store policy. I paid for my items with a credit card that had my name on it. I gave my address to have the items shipped. Then, I was asked for my drivers license, that match both the name on the credit card and the address I gave for shipment. The next thing I know, they are making a copy of my credit card. The clerk said that she didn&'t make the copy when I asked for her not to, but it is store policy for them to do so. That will be the last time I go in this store in the world of identity theft. I have no way of knowing if she scanned in my information before I asked them not to. They need to catch up with the world of finding a better way than saving information from people that have everything matching. I&'m sure every single person that ever works for Ashley is honest, but it only takes one to steel identities when they have so much of your information at their fingertips.

He escorted us to the Mattress dept. and was able to full fill our need for a replacement at a great price. Helped close sale with friendliness and professionalism.

Buyer Beware!!! My husband and I were looking for new living room furniture. We had narrowed our search down to Ashley HomeStore and another furniture store in our town. We decided to go with Ashley, and it was the biggest mistake that we ever made! We purchased 3 couches at the end of June. We were suppose to have someone call us to set up delivery, but it never happened. I called a week later and was told they could deliver 1 couch on Friday July 19. I waited all day Friday and never received a call, text, or anything. Finally, I called and was told that there was no delivery even scheduled, and there was no delivery scheduled for any future dates as well. I was beyond upset. I had waited all day for nothing! The woman told me that she would schedule delivery for mid August. She also told me that she would try to find out what had happened and email or call me back. This never happened. I was not happy, but what could we do. My husband and I were on our way back from vacation, and I received a text stating our furniture would be delivered on Friday August 2. I was optimistic and was glad we were going to get it earlier than the lady had mentioned. On Thursday, August 1, I received a phone call stating we would now only receive 1 couch the next day. I was very upset and said this was unacceptable. I called the local store, and I was told that from their end it still stated full delivery. I was told to wait and see because they could possibly all be delivered. When the truck came Friday, only 1 couch was on the truck. Even the delivery drivers were confused as to why. I refused the couch, and said I did not want it until all 3 showed up. It was another wasted day! Later that evening, I received a phone call. I assumed it was their quality control asking to make things right. She said all 3 couches could be delivered to our house the next day on Saturday. How ironic is that? She said that she wanted to work with me to make things right and take a percent off of the total for all our trouble and days we took off waiting for the furniture. I told her I would talk it over with my husband, but I wasn't sure. I didn't call her back because it was late. The next day I was out and received a phone call that they were delivering the furniture. I had no idea they were coming. I had to rush home and prepare. I would not have taken it, but my husband just wanted to get the nightmare over! After delivery our credit card was charged. I tried to call Sharon back (quality control), but I would only receive her voice mail. She would call me back and leave a message when I was working and couldn't answer the phone. I had told her to call after a particular time to talk with her, but she would not. She stopped calling me, and I could never reach her. She never came through with working with us on days missed from work from the delivery nightmare. It was extremely stressful, chaotic, and they were not reliable. They will not follow through once they have your money!!!! Later I learned of other people that had similar issues. If you do not mind waiting for weeks for your furniture, taking time off of work to wait for furniture that does not show up, calls and emails that go unanswered, and promises that are not kept, then by all means buy your furniture from Ashley. I would not want anyone to go through what our family did.
I’ve never had a worse customer service experience in my life. Lied to for 4 consecutive months by every person associated with this company. Save yourself the trouble and shop at a place that knows what it’s doing. You can find their (literally their own name brand) furniture cheaper at other places anyway.

On Saturday the 17th of August my wife and I visited the Ashley furniture store in Terre Haute, Indiana. We were greeted by Kevin Simpson the sales person which offer to assist us. We were allowed to browse the items in the store before Kevin returned asking if we were looking for anything specific. He was very helpful and attentive during the discussions about the products and when we had questions about how the BOGO initiative could be applied to merchandise he quickly got with his manager and gave us the answers we were seeking. DISCLAIMER: This is a 0 star review but it would not post without giving it as least a 1. This has truly been one of the most disappointing and aggregating experiences. I purchased a new bedroom furniture set for my apartment 2 months ago and have had one issue after another. In total there were 4 deliveries required to get all of the furniture to me due to the fact that piece were damaged or broken on all 4 deliveries. From start to finish we were greeted with a hostile salesmen who lied about the material the furniture was made out of. When we questioned him on aspects of delivery and quality he grew impatient as if we were ungrateful for his "help". Following the purchase we were given furniture that was not packaged as it was promise it would and was wrapped so thoroughly we were unable to inspect it for damages, which plays a role down the road. Finally, after delivering the furniture to its desired location, we realized there were damaged pieces and pieces that belonged to a different set. After addressing it with the store manager, we were told there met with false promises that were yet to be fulfilled. After being promised a variety of fixes or refunds, we have had additional deliveries to replace furniture most of which were still damaged or broken. One new delivery came with an entirely new bedroom set, including items that we did not even order originally. This was yet another example of the glaring incompetence shown by individuals involved in the process. Additionally, all 4 delivery truck employees mentioned that they deal with angry customers relating to Ashley Furniture on a daily basis and have had nearly no satisfied customers. Finally, we have received all the items I order, most of which were not significantly damaged and are still waiting on the refund that was promised to us nearly 2 months ago. I am honestly shocked and appalled at the lack of empathy shown by any single employee at this company from the sales level through management and beyond. After speaking with friends and family, all who have purchased items from this store have been met with issues and none are satisfied with the end result. While I was unaware of this before I made my purchase I will be sure to inform everyone I can the issues that are certain to arise when interacting with this store. This company consistently cuts corners and does everything they can to avoid helping fix the issues that their customers experience. I will never purchase so much as a blanket pillow from Ashley Furniture let alone any piece of furniture. Ashley Furniture needs to seriously consider how they train their employees from knowledge of products to basic human decency.

I love this store, the furniture selection is perfect. The employees go above and beyond to be sure you feel comfortable and not rushed while choosing the perfect piece for your home. Kelsi helped me when I was there. I recommend her to everyone. She was very down to earth and patient with my indecisiveness.
My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture to look for a sofa and recliner. After finding a sofa and recliner we might want we decided to get a coffee table to go with it. The salesperson was great in helping carry some pieces to where the sofa was. It was not until we had decided we wanted to buy the furniture that we were told it was company policy that furniture had to be delivered. On top of that you have to pay for it to be taken into your home. It was going to be 3 to 4 weeks before it was delivered. We left. A few days later we drove to a Lazy Boy store and picked out a beautiful sofa and leather recliner. Because of the price we decided to wait to make a decision. The next day we called Lazy Boy and purchased them. As it turned out the leather recliner was 20% off. The salesperson said they would have them ready for pickup in just a few hours. The reason we had to wait was because we were having a protective coating put on the sofa. Our decision to pay the extra price was predicated not only upon the beauty and quality of the furniture, or the Lazy Boy lifetime warranty, but because Lazy Boy does not have a ridiculous policy of forcing you to have the furniture delivered to your house, as well as paying an extra fee to have it taken in. Three stars is the best I could do for Ashley Furniture.

Kayla was a super sweet southern belle that was a pleasure to work with... she wasn’t pushy and she didn’t mind answering many questions and working several different options out for us on paper to compare... we stopped in twice as the pieces of furniture we were looking at were for our camper so measuring was very important... I wish I would’ve caught the name of the manager on duty that day that also helped us in our narrowing down and decision making as he was very helpful and eager to get our business as well on our second visit... We ended up purchasing a theatre seating loveseat and recliner and our wait for delivery is less than two weeks out! We can’t wait to make our RV feel more homey and comfortable! Thanks for all of your help Kayla! We also found the perfect throw pillows... (great time to buy them cuz I could literally see how they would like on my specific pieces of furniture) So far... it’s been a very positive experience!
Make sure you definitely want something before you get it home. They will not let you change your mind, not even in 1-3 days. Plus I kept being told my order was going to be delivered 3 times. Just not good because TH store owns it's own company and corporate can not help. I feel not good business I have a $1000 chair that doesn't fit me with my disability

Gentlemen was a nice guy but really only cared about the sale. You ask 9 ways about something and you don't get an honest answer on what it is. I can't review fully as i haven't received my product yet. Specifically asked if the couch was bonded leather. Showed got to looking at it more after putting trust in to the salesmen saying it's not and it is actually bonded leather. I received my couch and was already damaged on delivery. Spoke to a lady named Chelsea in Terre Haute,IN .I to spoke to lady 6/27 same day as delivery. I was told the repair place would be calling in 24 to 48 for a repair. This never happened. I have spoke to a lady at HQ who has resolved the issue and ordered parts as well as ETA of 7 to 10 days. Then will have to call back to schedule a repair. The only thing saving this rating is lady I spoke today. Sharon who committed on this called and was nice until she basically said I can't help you only spent $900 on the merchandise. $1300 with required delivery fee of $100, $189.99 protect. Parts did not get ordered until 7/1 Had my parts delivered on 7/15. Called to schedule the repair and nobody picked up the phone or called when a voicemail was left at 9am this morning. Finally, got a return call for the repair 7/18 and was told I will have to wait until 8/1 to see if it can be repaired. Just to inform everyone the problem with the couch is continuing to get worse and is causing damage to the fabric.

The first time we visited they were willing to throw in all sorts of extras if we bought a tempur-pedic. The second time, when we actually went with the intention of buying the bed, we weren't offered anything which I know I'm being petty but we financed for 10k and dropped 1.2k down. That's alot of money to not even get a couple free pillows. Anyways, they did the basic requirements of their job and promptly answered any questions we had. Would recommend and will likely visit in the future again.
Seriously, worst customer service experience! We were lied to so many times in the store, their delivery service can't keep their stories straight, and corporate can't seem to respond to an email (not even acknowledge it or even an automatic response saying that they got it). Avoid!

We were lied to multiple times in the store, the delivery service can't keep their story straight or return a phone call, the website form conveniently doesn't work, and now their corporate customer service can't respond to an email. I had to cancel hosting several events because my furniture still isn't here. Professionalism is apparently non-existent with this business, so if you expect them to deal with professionals, look elsewhere.
We ordered a sleeper sofa, a couch, a loveseat, coffee tables / end tables, and a rocker recliner in the middle of May. We were told delivery would be June 21st and here it is July 5th and we've only received half of our order. The Rocker recliner was supposed to be delivered July 2nd and my husband took a day off of work to receive. About noon I called because we hadn't heard anything and they said all deliveries for the day had been canceled. No phone call no notification nothing. They rescheduled for today July 5th and I called to see if the end tables would be delivered as well, since they were supposed to be delivered a couple weeks ago. I was told there is no delivery date noted as yet. I have never dealt with a company with such poor customer service. I will never order anything from Ashley again. And I decided I might be better off just going somewhere else for the end tables and was told there would be a 10% restocking fee. So even though we paid it all up front with the expectation of a delivery 6 weeks later, they couldn't uphold their end of the bargain and I will be penalized if I chose to cancel at this point. Do yourselves a favor and go ANYWHERE else for furniture. Update: just got notified that my delivery has been canceled, again. I wish I could give ZERO stars. They were due between 5-8 this evening and was notified at 7:15 of cancellation. Still no delivery date for my coffee table and end tables. Family coming from out of state in 3 days. If we ever get the remainder of our order, the turn around time will be > 2 months. Ashley furniture is a tremendous disappointment.

Ashley furniture was the first place I went to look for furniture. I usually have to look at every store before I decide but I found exactly what I wanted. There was a large selection with a wide variety of styles. The store was organized by styles so you could get an idea what your room could look like. Very organized and clean. My shopping trip at Ashley furniture store was quick and easy and left me satisfied and there was a sale that day which made it an even better day.
We had a great experience. They let us look around and didn’t pressure us on making a purchase. We found items we really liked and was helped to get approved for an amazing deal. The employee was very nice and helpful through the entire process. We can’t wait to get our new furniture home.
The couch I bought didn't come when they said it would. It was delivered a week late.
We found the recliner we wanted and we wanted to pick it up. We were told that Ashley requires that they deliver it. Reluctantly we paid for it and set up delivery. Went home and put the model number in Google and found the same recliner at another vendor. Ordered it from them and saved $120 and got free delivery. Cancelled the order at Ashley (with a 10% penalty even though we cancelled it within a few hours of ordering it.) My advice, shop at Ashley and if you find what you want, get the model number and order it online. You'll get it cheaper and delivered for free.
No one even came up to help me had to find someone located the bed man he was big help I think no one offered to help because they thought I looked like didn't have money well spent 10000 three bedroom outfits and sectional couch what really got me was I lost my house in fire it's being built one my bedroom outfits and couch was clearance and was told have a week to take talked sale guy to holding couch till next month cause really limited on space till house hopefully done next month then look at receipt when home 300 delivery spent ten thousand and get charged delivery lucky for them wife and kids really wanted this furniture or I would say have it back 300 delivery and spent good amount of money I probably won't be back for any more stuff

We recently purchased furniture from Ashley Home Store in Terre Haute, and I was impressed with their customer service and knowledge of their product. Often times people have to look up info but not here. They were ready to answer any and all questions I had. They were friendly and had great personalities to boot. Our delivery service went smoothly and it came right at the time they said they would be here. Highly recommend.

Absolutely awful! Don’t ever buy from them. Their customer service is not great as well... you’ll order something and won’t get for 4 months. The dates will be changed and they won’t even inform you. They don’t want to work with you either to make things better. Just absolutely awful place to shop at.
I have bought several pieces of furniture from Ashley Furniture but I won’t be buying anymore. We bought a sectional and within a year of purchase, we have two prices that are ripped. Ashley encouraged us to buy the protection plan from GBS enterprises and I am still dealing with these rips after 6 months. When calling Ashley in Terre Haute to share our frustration, they could care less. They want to put all blame on GBS even though they endorse this company at the time of purchase to support their customer base. Ashley Furniture wants your money and they could care less once you leave their store.

I was very happy to receive a coupon for $100.00 off of a $200.00 purchase. I went to get an end table to complete my new set. It was regular price with coupon or sale price of 25% +10% off without coupon but not both. I coupon a lot and usually you can combine sale with coupon so I was disappointed in that. I made the purchase with coupon only to find out they no longer ship to store for pickup. You must pickup in Plainfield or pay $49.99 for shipping. So actually the coupon deal was not that great. Salesman was great but their policy is not. I was going to purchase a new sofa and loveseat there but now rethinking.
Sell a warranty that works and be honest about it. I bought a warranty on all of my furniture (Thousands of dollars of furniture) and when I finally go to use it they tell me that I waited to long to file the claim after I noticed a problem and was denied. But because I tried to file a claim, I would no longer get that money spent on the warranty back for credit (that's how their warranty works(ed?). So no warranty, out $500+. And I have multiple pieces of furniture that are literally falling apart. And the management there knows about it and basically said tough luck - that's the fine print. They're a joke. I will continue to let anyone know to never shop there. I may not get my $ back but they will lose out on much more than that because of it.
Visited recently with two small children to purchase new living room furniture. Received a warm welcome at the door but was pleasantly surprise prize to not be followed or inversely bugged while browsing their selection. They didn’t seem annoyed or bothered by my daughters who are thoroughly enjoying their trip to a furniture store… So many things to sit on.Even though their computer systems were down, when it came time to make my purchase I received thorough and excellent service. I’m so excited to receive my new furniture!

On feb. 22 we went into this store and purchased couches and a bedroom set that were available on the website. Original delivery was March 23. Corporate called on March 21 and said only pieces of the bed would be delivered (what good would that do?!) and the couches would be delayed til April 1! Within an hour of that call, my husband went into the store to talk to an associate and they called corporate and then said the couches would be April 9! How are we now a week later than what corporate said just hours ago?! Frustrated I called the store again to ask why it keeps changing and all they say is they aren’t associated with items purchased through the website and told me to call corporate and hung up on me. I called corporate and they said that the actual store is responsible for scheduling the deliveries. So basically if you want to get the run around and want to have multiple delays in receiving furniture this is the store for you. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

They have great furniture that is priced affordable. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly and not pushy, which is a very big plus. Kayla was super nice.

I went over the weekend to buy a couch and I found the perfect one that was the perfect price with the specials they had going on! Unfortunately I did not end up buying it, but all week I thought about it and was afraid I was going to lose it. Within the week I went back and bought it and even though the special was over they gave me the special price and I walked out a happy customer!
Employee was very helpful, showed us exactly what we wanted to see, and helped up get the best deal. Very impressed!

This place is a joke!!! Purchased furniture with a three week delivery date, get a call two days before delivery informing me that it would be another four week for delivery.... seven to eight weeks is total unacceptable!!! If you want furniture don’t buy from Ashley. Very disappointed with them!!! UPDATE: I would now give this place zero stars if available!!! Purchased furniture on January 5 with delivery date of January 26.....didn’t happen, rescheduled for February 19 not going to happen, telling me maybe March 5..... not going to happen called and canceled my order today! One would think that if a business has a unsatisfied customer they would contact them to figure how to resolve the issue. Ashley Furniture one of the worst business I have every had to deal with. I would recommend if you looking for furniture DO NOT shop Ashley’s!!!!!!
service sucks. been waiting almost 2 1/2 months on a recliner. I call down there each week and it takes forever for somebody to answer the phone. I will not shop there again or recommend them to anyone.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. Ordered two beds, three dressers, and three nightstands on November 25. Was told it would be ready for pickup in Plainfield in two weeks. Two weeks go by, no phone call. Three weeks go by, we call them and are told it will be in next week. We were able to pick up 2 nightstands and 1 bed in December. We had to call them WEEKLY asking for updates on the rest of our items. Picked up everything except for our footboard in January. We had to continue to call weekly asking for updates on the footboard. Finally spoke to the manager Carlos, he was unaware of the situation. Assured me he would find the footboard and call me back and they could have it delivered to us. Didn’t call me back. I had to call again. They finally found the footboard, had it sent to Terre Haute so now they can’t deliver. They have offered to discount it $42 for the trouble. We spent over $5,000, drove 45 minutes 4 times and they are offering only $42!!!!!! We will not be doing business here again. Their loss since we have a brand new house to furnish. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!
How about telling the truth. I am very dissatisfied. Have tried every avenue that I know to get satisfaction without taking the complete love seat back. Have started a thread about the terrible communication and horrible service. Look next Friday for a 8 x 12 billboard on highway 54 telling my dissatisfaction. Best $286.92 I could spend.
One week ago today we purchased a 3 piece living room set from the Terre Haute Ashley Honestore. Our sales person was Kayla. She was very personable, respectful, knowledgeable of the furniture and helpful with questions. We received the furniture today as we had requested and we simply love it! Back to the day we bought it- the process was quick and smooth without waiting. Like I said we were able to pick when we wanted the delivery to be. Love this store and Ashley furniture . We have purchased items from this store before and we will again!.. .
Service your furniture after it has been bought. We bought a sofa and a loveseat 3 years ago. Each has 2 electric recliners. One stopped working and Ashley claims they cannot provide parts because they "discontinued" that line. WE JUST WANT TO PARTS to repair it ourselves. My wife has called multiple times with no one accepting responsibility. Grief.
I bought a couch with the electric foot rest. Long story short the footrest quit working and Ashley Homestore says it has been discontinued and I can’t buy the part to fix it. Then Caitlin replied to my post and said to email the details and she would see what management could do to resolve the problem. I did email her a week ago and haven’t heard anything so I tried to email her again today but couldn’t send it because it wasn’t a valid address! Worst company ever! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! They are a SCAM! Please pass this on to EVERYONE!

Laci Claypool was very helpful and informative, as well as patient with my many questions regarding multiple fabrics etc. She was really sweet with my 3 year old son, helpimg keep him entertained while I decided which couch I wanted to go with. We spent 4-5 hours at the store between deciding and paying for our product. The most frustrating thing was the sales person, Kevin, walking away from us ALL the time. We had questions and he was no where in sight. I also called the next morning and sat on the phone for 10 minutes before anyone answered during business hours. We are excited for our new couch to come in in 5 weeks but aren’t extremely happy with the service

Derek was awesome! We bought an entire bedroom set for my daughter AND a new mattress. No pressure at all with the sale, very informative, discounted price and zero interest to boot. Update: they sold our account to a third party. Ugh! We could no longer make payments in the store and the new lender was a headache to deal with. Rating dropped! Further update: the furniture in our guest bedroom was cheaply crafted and did not hold up! Pictures added.
Excellent selection and service at the Terre Haute location. Unfortunately, I do not remember the young mans name who helped us on the evening of 1/6/24 but he was courteous, extremely professional, and knowledgeable of the stores inventory. He asked what we had in mind then went directly to what was available, which ultimately led to a sale. Not one question went unanswered. As soon as I get his name I will definitely add it to my review.
