Had such an easy shopping experience at the Whitestown Ashley's. I had a great experience with Ashley's 10 years ago and now that we just moved to Indiana and needed to replace our couch, we started looking at what Ashley's had to offer. When we came in last month, Anya was so helpful with narrowing down our options. Came back in today to order a couch and matching chair and within half and hour Anya had everything set up for us and our furniture is being delivered next week!

The sales people were very helpful and patient as I selected my new couch, however, when I brought the new couch home and Unpacked it I discovered the main support up the back was broken in two places. The customer support has been terrible with Ashley, as I sent pictures of the damage and the serial number tag from the bottom of the couch and got a response back that they needed a video of the damage, so I sent a video. They then said they couldn't watch the video and asked me to resend it, so I did. They then sent another reply back saying thank you for the video, but we need a picture of the serial number tag, which I already sent!!! So I sent it and replied that their customer service sucks and I'm very unhappy with how things are going. Now they want me to call them for resolution!!!! Very disappointed to say the least!!! I won't buy from them again!!!! I changed my two stars to one star, because after weeks of back and forth communication with Ashley furniture folks, they finally agreed to swap my broken couch out for a new one. I spoke with their customer service people and explained to them that I work 60 hours a week and delivery would have to be after 3pm on a Saturday. The lady assured me that they would deliver after 3pm. They called me back to tell me the only location that could do that was not my local distribution center, so the couch would be delayed. Today they send me a text stating that my order was coming at 9am!!! I am at work till 3!!! I had to make numerous calls to try to find someone that could come get my keys and meet them there at 9am! (Such unprofessionalism coming from such a large chain!!!) Anyway, the couch makes it up three flights of stairs, gets unpacked and is damaged worse than the one I already have!!! Now, they have to pack my old one back up three flights of stairs and take the new broken one back, and for all my troubles, they offer me a one hundred dollar gift card to use at a store that can't seem to manage a bowl of jello!!! Do yourself a favor. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!!!
We were assisted by Ishmael at the Whitestown Ashley Store. It was a very pleasant experience. He was knowledgeable and helpful, but did not add pressure or stress to our interactions. It was obvious that he took pride in his job and wanted to help us. Ishmael was very professional. We actually enjoyed our shopping experience which is not always the case when buying furniture.

Purchased a month ago and still have not received. They keep scheduling the delivery and then canceling it. It is not possible to talk to anyone in customer service. If you call the bot just re-routes you to another bot. They purposely make it hard to talk to anyone. Went to the store to try and get in person help and the number they gave me to call was a wrong number. No one will help me track down and get our sofa installed.

We would NEVER order anything else from Ashley again. We are now on our 6th attempt to deliver furniture. ONE time a truck showed. The furniture was damaged. The other 5 times no one showed. No one called. We keep taking days off work to be home. But, no word from Ashley. When we call to check, they say the furniture didn't make it on the truck. But, why not call us to tell us rather than just not show up?! Save yourself the hassle and find your furniture elsewhere.

Today we purchased 2 mattresses and box springs. Our salesman Ishmael was very knowledgeable about the different types of mattresses and what would be a good fit for us. We've been to 3 other mattress stores and there was no one that could top him!! We spent most of our day laying of diiferent mattresses and I have to say we totally enjoyed spending it with him. Such a great guy, very knowledgeable, and has a kind heart. We appreciate that. Not pushy in any way, just there to make sure we were happy with our purchase.
We purchased a sectional on Memorial Day, it got delivered June 15 with a hole on the chaise side and the ottoman had plastic that was damaged on it. We called it in immediately, and then we went to the store the next day to file a claim, and WE STILL HAVEN’T HEARD ANYTHING! No email, no phone call to follow up. We reported in 72 hours like we were supposed to. They need to replace the pieces on our sectional, as promised. IF YOU READ THIS: FOLLOW UP ON YOUR CLAIMS AND MAYBE YOU’LL HAVE DIFFERENT REVIEWS

I went with my daughter to the Whitestown Ashley Furniture Store - just on a whim, to look at mattresses. Just to LOOK! Fortunately for us, employee Ishmael Clairment came to help us. He has a very winning way about him and was able to guide me in the purchase of a bed, mattress and box spring, patiently explaining things so I could understand the pros and cons. It will be delivered next Saturday!!
I had tried to place my order online. I was on the phone forever and was chatting back and forth with the customer service rep. I thought my order was placed, but had not received an order confirmation. I decided that I needed to contact a store. I live in Lafayette, IN so I decided Whitestown. I called the store with a sales representative, Bailey. I explained everything she went searching and found nothing. Bailey took the bull by the horns went over what I was wanting to order, placed the order and could not have been any more caring, kind, and a follow through that was excellent. Her manager had to finish with me for she had another customer requesting her. I can definitely tell why she was and is requested. Beautiful store, very professional, and an overall great experience. I have been a customer at Ashley since 2007. Whitestown is far above any experience that I have had before. Thank you all for making this a no order into a delivery date of Wednesday, June 19th as if this time.❤️
I dreaded buying a new couch for about a year because my last couch I purchased it was a giant pain from a DIFFERENT company . Felt like a used car buying experience. We decided to try Ashley instead this time. Mainly a priced based decision but reviews were good as well. We worked with Ishmail and he was terrific. Very knowledgeable and up front and lead us to a great couch that was in our price range but good quality as well. Thank you Ashley.... we will be back soon for more.

Trying to get my couch delivered has been a living hell. I scheduled a date for delivery and it was confirmed. I had to take off work this day for it to work. Without contacting me they changed it to a couple days later the day before, in which I cant be there for delivery. When trying to call all I got was a robot and about 3 different options for delivery, none of which really work for me. I tried calling just straight up Ashley Homestore customer service and was told I have to call the store, which again is just a robot. Apparently there's no such thing as customer service and instead of working with your schedule, you have to work with theirs. Will never order furniture to be delivered again.

Purchase was easy. Sales person was very friendly and helpful. Delivery tho…woof. We were scheduled for delivery Tuesday, got text updates all morning. 1143 I start missing calls from the delivery driver and his boss (I was wfh and was on a call). Driver left 8m later (never approached the door) and thus began the trouble. Spoke with the driver, he told me he had a second job in the evening that couldn’t be missed so he wasn’t coming back…and eventually walked out on the delivery job. After several back and forth calls with dispatch, Ashley order support, etc. they were finally able to get the chair delivered around 6P. Chair didn’t work and now we are waiting another 2 weeks for a replacement chair. Ashley Furniture needs to do a bit better with the delivery companies they contract out to.

I came in early on a Monday morning and he gave me the freedom to browse before approaching me, which I really appreciate so much more than being bombarded by salesmen, which is so typical at furniture places. I was able to spend 15 min checking out furniture, decided what I wanted, and then Ron made the process so easy to order. I ordered on Monday morning and was sitting on my couch in my house by Friday night!!! Excellent service!! Ron also price matched another retailers prices. 10/10 do recommend. Also - my Lindyn couch is great!!! So comfy.

I have purchased a few items from our Whitestown Ashley store. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and doesn't mind me coming in and looking around while I am still thinking about what I wanted. I recently bought a discontinued floor model piece for my new construction home, and I came back frequently to make sure it was still there until I was ready for it. When it was time to buy it, they even loaded it into the van.

Friendly associates and very hard working. We purchased some floor models and had to hire a company to pick up our very large sectional and a round table with 4 chairs. The 2 associates that were there were like pros helping to get the items on the truck. The only reason I took off 1 star is because the store does not have a list of third parties that you can call to have furniture delivered that the store doesn’t actually deliver. It was difficult to find a company that didn’t want almost 500.00 to pick up and deliver these items. It took less than an hour to do the work. Anya was my sales associate and showed me pieces that reflected exactly what I was looking for. The general manager (didn’t catch his name) was also very welcoming and polite. No pressure to buy and they were all very knowledgeable about clearance, financing options and upcoming sales. I highly recommend this furniture store.

Ishmael was so helpful in choosing the right gift/chair for my grandson. He was so thoughtful in his recommendations and making sure all parts of the recliner were functioning. The store itself was amazing. The company issues, my card, the app, synchrony... 1 star. No one knew how to fix the issues. Our store person was incredibly calm (and also just as confused) but helped us until we finally made our purchase.

We were helped by Bayle who was super nice and helpful! Our sofa came in quickly and looks and feels great! I do wish the pickup center was open past 5:00pm, but we made it work. Love our new sofa!
Absolutely awful. We purchased furniture and now the distribution center says they don’t have our order and the store won’t pick up the phone. Absolutely the worst experience we’ve ever had
I wish I could give zero stars. We ordered our furniture and was told delivery would be 2-3 weeks. Waited 5 weeks and then they texted us to tell us our delivery was cancelled. We’ve been calling the store for weeks with nobody answering. We have called their customer care team who told us we don’t have an active order with them. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experience.
Found a great couch no problem. We were greeted at the door but also allowed to walk freely as we searched. Loved the selection.
We have been trying to reach anyone about an order placed last week. We were told we would receive a receipt or confirmation of some sort for our order but have yet to receive anything. Now our credit card has been charged. Every time we call, chat, or text, we are told that there is a system outage and they cannot assist in anyway. Not sure how you can place orders but cannot offer any type of assistance after the fact. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau if we are not able to get the assistance we have asked for today.

We went to Ashley Homestore in Whitestown to look at mattresses in their sleep department. What a great experience! Ishmael assisted us. He was caring and went above and beyond to explain the products, functionality and quality of every item we had questions about. We not only purchased a mattress but a sectional as well. We placed our order on Friday and received a call from the delivery department on Saturday. So excited that we’ll have everything in our home on Wednesday. We highly recommend visiting Ashley. Huge selection, good quality, very helpful and polite.

Delivery showed up 2 hours early, while I was on a work call, so I was only able to give it a quick look before they left. I wasn't too concerned because they said we have 72 hours to report any issues. That night we found damage with 2 of the items. It took 2 hours the next day to finally get ahold of someone who said "they submitted my request and some will call me back in 24-72 hours.Then about 48 hours later I get a text that parts are being shipped to my house and once they arrive I can call them to schedule a tech to come out to repair.I called the number given and told them this is brand new never used furniture I don't want it repaired, it should be exchanged. The person could only repeat what was on their script and ignored what I was saying. I kept pushing to escalate and all in all was given 4 different numbers to call and talked with 5 different people who all just said this was the process.That is when I called the main Ashley number and found out this wasn't a official Ashley store, and because of that Ashely just washed their hand of the whole issue.How is it ok for me to pay full price for repaired furniture?After posting reviews I was contacted by their escalation team, who again could nothing but read from a script that this is their process.

I came in on a Thursday night to find a dining room table and chair set and I got it delivered on Tuesday! They call, email, and text updates about the status and you can actually track the truck with us awesome! I will be getting my large furniture from them anyway!
The representative was very unprofessional. I will not vist this store or by again as long as she works there. She referred to me as lady instead of addressing me by name. She quoted the wrong price and I had to show her the tag on the piece I purchased. Hire people that have professionalism.
There is tremendous disconnect between the local stores, online platform, and warehouse. I understand that they are separate entities, but if they are going to represent the name "Ashley," they should create a better process to provide for a more positive customer experience. In short, I had difficulty placing an online order. When I called the phone number listed ON the website, they advised they couldn't help with online orders? I then was transferred several times and ended up placing the order through a local store. To save money (because the store couldn't offer free shipping like online could...??) I told them to send it to the warehouse and I would pick it up. Alas, on my scheduled pickup date, the warehouse didn't have my item nor was it scheduled to be delivered to them. They did not have the authority to cancel the order. I went in person to the local store, and their employee didn't have that ability either. And, the list of "complaints" she added my name to was FULL of complaints. She said she would forward my concern to management. The next day, I didn't hear back as I had been promised. I called yet another customer service number and they were able to cancel it. ONLY because we already had a matching piece of furniture, I tried to order the item online again. More issues. I called customer service and they said the initial order hadn't been canceled ! He adjusted the order and ultimately the item was delivered. To express my frustrations and seek some sort of compensation for my time, gas, efforts, and PTO used to go to the warehouse, I emailed several Ashley customer service email addresses. I had to follow-up MULTIPLE times to get an initial response, and the outcome was no sort of making things right at all. I will not buy from Ashley again.
We had the best experience visiting Ashley Furniture in Whitestown. We were very hesitant to make the effort to talk to a sales representative, simply because of stereotypes of sales being pushy and overwhelming, but we really wanted new living room furniture for our new space. An employee named Bayle approached us kindly and patiently, which eventually led us choosing to purchase the sofa we wanted most. She really took her time explaining all of the details of our financing, helped us through the application process, and told us to follow up with her about any other questions we may have in the future. I highly recommend this location because they have a great selection of furniture, and if you have the opportunity to ask for Bayle, I highly suggest doing that too!!

I am very disappointed with my order and the customer service I have received. When I received my order, two of the chairs were broken. When I contacted customer support, I was continually passed from person to person for at least 45 minutes. When I was finally connected with someone who wanted to help, I was then told I would have to send the broken chairs back. After 20 minutes of that exchange, I finally received confirmation that two replacement chairs would be mailed to me. Since that, I have l not received any shipping confirmation or tracking number. I’ve attempted to follow up with the status of the replacements twice, but I have been ignored and have not received a response.
Great experience
I'm dealing with another situation with Ashley furniture. Brought bedroom set for 4 yr old and furniture came in smelling like gasoline or some type of chemical tried to air it out for several days strong oder still there. Now Ashley customer service doesn't want to rectify the situation. I'm working with manager on duty and hopefully this can get resolved. Ashley customer service need to be improved and care more about there customers that's helping with paying them.
They lady who helped us was awesome. But we did have to wait well over an hour and a half just to talk to her. I didn’t understand why there was only 1 sales person in the store.

Employees are friendly and stuff are great in the store, but not a single person in the store has any technical knowledge regarding the materials of furniture and fillings in cushions.
Greeted as we entered Ashley, clean and welcoming furniture design as far as your eye could see . Our salesperson was wonderful and pricing was reasonable as we toured the store. Very nice with many choices
I ordered furniture Labor Day weekend 2022. I was told delivery would be mid November. I then received a call mid October and was told that my furniture was running 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Yay! Right? WRONG! I finally received a partial order delivered at the end of November and now I am still waiting on a couch and chair. And it looks like it won’t be here until after the new year. I have contacted customer service and no one seems to care and they certainly won’t say they are sorry for the delay. All I can say is DONT ever purchase from Ashley Furniture!

The delivery man was abrasive and rude. He banged on the door for a few minutes, yelling at my underage daughter, “ I know you’re in there!, I saw you go inside”. Pretty creepy
I’m so frustrated right now. It took a very long time for the furniture to arrive and when it does arrive one of the drawers on the dresser is jammed and won’t work. I tried to open it and it would open 3 inches . I pulled a little harder and the track and the ball bearings that it glides on all fall out and so does a block of wood. So after purchasing for 2,600 and waiting 3 months for it to arrive it arrives broken.

Tamara was so helpful and patient. She Took the time to look up a certain color a photo of a sectional that we were interested in but decided on another sectional. She was so wonderful to us in getting information regarding the sectional and putting all the financials that went into purchasing it.
The warehouse nor sales person ever called us to say that our furniture was in. We waited before reaching out knowing many companies had supply chain issues. We were told that all items had been delivered but when we went to the warehouse, only one was ready, the other 3 had not been transferred. The worker played blame game, sales were suppose to contact/sales said warehouse. Now a second trip is necessary to receive our items & another half day off work.
The two chairs I ordered are great. I bought the assembly service as well, which was very quick. Delivery was nice with how I was contacted ahead of time to know when receiving it. My only issue was the crazy delivery time it took for one of my chairs. I ordered them October of 2021. Received one of them around early February. But the other was continuously pushed back and wasn't received until mid August 2022. 10 months is quite ridiculous. Thankfully this piece wasn't as essential so I was fine waiting. But be careful ordering anything you want sooner if they still expect delays on their delivery windows.
My salesman Garrett embellished on what the protection plan will cover. If they tell you that the plan will cover a cleaning anytime you want for any reason they are lying to you. I was told the plan would cover general cleanings and it doesn't. I probably wouldn't of bought the plan, I can clean the furniture myself. I was lied to and I'm screwed out of $369.99. I'm not happy.

The Folks at Ashley are always so very helpful and friendly. The store is a feel-good place to begin with and their low-key no pressure sales approach is a welcomed change from all other furniture stores. The furniture itself is very well made and immediately transformed our very dated kitchen eating area. All in all a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend. THANKS ASHLEY!! 😁
I placed my bed in layaway on January 29 total cost $1043.25 I paid the ticket in full on March 6 balance of $843.25 I was told that due to the pandemic I probably wouldn’t have my bed until the first week of May I proceeded to call after the second week in May I was told it would be two weeks after that it was every two weeks I would call and get the same voicemail your order will be ready in two weeks finally became fed up went into the store spoke with the manager they got back to me two days later and let me know that my items were ready for pick up I asked for the address also ask the hours of operation the person I spoke to was unable to give me the hours of operation my husband and I drove to your pick up center we drove to the back didn’t see a doorbell to ring this was at 4:50 PM we then proceeded to the front door which was now locked at 5pm my husband is a lineman and not always in town so therefore it makes it hard for me to get the items picked up we have made three trips before we finally received our items which at that point we were told were damaged I am now waiting on the store to determine the amount of money they can refund at this is not an acceptable amount I will have your company come and retrieve the items give me back my money and proceed to go to social media about this horrific transaction that I’ve had with your company

If their "Escalation Team" is so busy they are unable to keep up that SPEAKS VOLUMES! Avoid this company!!!!It is too bad yelp doesn't allow negative numbers for their reviews. This company had a great opportunity to fix the issue or at the very least be responsive or at least follow thru, but nope!Well they brought another table. It was broken too! They won't take it back and cancel the sale. They only want to keep giving me a new one. They are totally unwilling to do another replacement. After much gnashing of teeth and complaining somebody finally figured out they were way out of line and finally just refunded my money. At all cost avoid this place.
Do not. We ordered furniture in store after the salesperson told us they could get it to us at an earlier date than online. We heard nothing from Ashley Furniture as our delivery date approached so we called to check in. No one would answer the phone until we clicked the button for “sales” instead of delivery. We were told it had moved back a week. We have called 2 more times after hearing nothing and we’re told a week later each time. No one knew where our furniture was or when it would arrive. We paid more to get the furniture through the store so we could have it arrive almost a month earlier. It’s likely to arrive much later than the online date had promised. I understand supply chain issues have been a problem for everyone, but if they had not promised something they could not deliver we would have been happier. We got rid of our old furniture in anticipation of the new furniture and now have had no furniture in our living room for several weeks. Never shop here.
The store experience was perfectly fine. Bayle was super helpful and patient while I mattress shopped. As others have said before, she initially made it sound like I'd get it within a month. Again, Bayle and her coworkers were super helpful. The overall customer service and communications experience have not been great. I'm now more than a month out from when I ordered the mattress. They were supposed to deliver everything this morning (including the bed frame I got). Bed frame is just fine - right size and all. The mattress, however, is not. The labels on the box are conflicting: one label says it's the SKU and details of the mattress I ordered. Other stickers on the box indicated it was a different size, thickness, and firmness from what I ordered. Once the delivery guys opened the box, we learned it was indeed a King soft mattress. So now I'm back to waiting on the one thing I went to Ashley for and back to sleeping on an air mattress again. I really tried to avoid the bed in a box option so I could go into a store and get a feel for what I was buying. Probably won't make that mistake again. Not for something like this. UPDATE: Spent all day in circles between calling customer care and getting cut off, then tried texting > they told me to go to the store. I get to the store and am told there's a credit hold on the order/account and he can't schedule delivery at all without that being reconciled. So here we are, another lovely weekend with me and the *air mattress* I bought as a hold over. SAT AM: Heard back from corporate and all is being handled. Thanks y'all. One step closer to blissful sleep.
My salesperson Bayle was excellent in product knowledge, assessment of consumer wants and needs, and—in short—helping me find the perfect pieces for my space. I highly recommend her (weekends) and the store (always). Props are also due to manager Ron and the delivery teams.
Ashley furniture had totally given me the most horrible experience known possible. The amount that was spent on a new bedroom set, mattress, everything and the fact it’s been 6 weeks and FIVE trips to deliver because of the amount of mistakes that we’re made (on their end). Finally, when they delivered my new footboard and baseboard (after having to store the headboard in my garage for a month bc the footboard was back ordered and they tried to deliver the headboard 3 times before realizing the footboard was missing). The delivery drivers didn’t screw my bed in all the way (they did it just enough to take a picture of it looking put together). I lay in my bed that evening, the headboard falls off, I fall back, the headboard comes off and smacks against my wall. The mattress is too small for the bed (which we weren’t informed about) and so the extend base just smooshes against the footboard. Ashley has called me about 5 times to offer me an exchange for another set and said their policy is no returns OR STORE CREDIT!!!!!!! I do not ever go to a business page and complain, but after getting so upset for the last time of being told that they will not be accommodating my want to just be done and take the bedroom set back. They’ve yet to pick it up, want to come fix it or do anything other than leave me in the dark. If I finish putting the bed together myself they said they can’t do anything about it - so I now have been sleeping with a headboard off, footboard slanted and falling off, the rails/base board is half on, I hit my foot on it at night and since the headboard is still just leaning, I hit my elbow if my arm falls off the edge (bc of the headboard being off). They delivered (attempted) my mattress 4 times. My nightstands it took 3 attempts and 2 of those they forgot the nightstands at the warehouse. I’ve been ignored, treated so poorly, talked down by their call center, told it’s being resolved asap and I’ve asked and called for the store manager and I was told he was gone for the day (before 5pm when the store opens at 10am) and it’s been 5 days without a phone call. This is just a fraction of what’s happened. I had such a great experience from Ashley furniture 16 years ago and this time it’s been so draining. The amount of time I’ve taken to try to resolve this issue is endless. This store has no care in the world for any of their customers. They don’t want to take ownership of their wrongdoings or mistakes and I have been just left in the dark. I do not recommend buying from Ashley furniture at all. Their call center is so disrespectful and snippy. And if something goes wrong, just know it won’t get fixed in even a remotely timely manner.
I’ve had great experiences at the Whitestown store! I’ve worked with Chris, Ron and a female which I don’t recall her name. All friendly and knowledgeable! Delivery experiences have been great too! We’ve purchased 2 mattresses, a couch, and rug here and will most likely be back for more!

Bailey helped us the evening of 6/28/22. We ordered 2 new mattresses and she helped us check on our living room furniture order. The order was still unfortunately pretty far out, nothing anybody can do about it. Bailey was friendly and helpful though.

I purchased a sectional and a chaise from this Ashley location. The furniture looks exactly what I anticipated, but arrived several months late (I understand that covid had quite a bit to do with this so I don't hold this against Ashley but the communication throughout the process was terrible, they set up deliveries without confirming with me, said things were getting delivered when they weren't and would cancel times they estimated). The issue is that our Sales Representative (I believe Brian) told us we should get insurance for the furniture. I didn't want it but he insisted that it would cover everything we would need. I mentioned we had cats, kids and honestly the stuff may just pill or wear out and he said all were covered. I just put in a claim and all were rejected saying that none of those things were covered. Had I known I wouldn't have wasted the $299. If you buy from them understand that the furniture may look quality but it will fall apart quickly and the insurance that gives you piece of mind is simply them padding margin and wont do anything outside taking more money.**************************************************Their response (which if you think about it includes pretty much everything outside a delivery problem which would have been covered anyway)Fabric Pilling - Per the terms and conditions of your protection plan failure or loosening of threads, pilling, or fraying of upholstery are excluded from coverage.Hole/Missing Material - Holes in fabric or leather with missing material (material under the hole or that would be covering the hole, is not warranted.

Made a purchase in early December and was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. It is now 12 weeks later and was just told over the phone it will be at least another 6 weeks for delivery and that is not even guaranteed. Go somewhere else with your money.
New homeowners in the area should make this their one-stop shop! I highly recommend working with Chris Hacker when coming to this location. The furniture he found us way exceeded expectation and was under our budget. I will continue to buy furniture from here because of the great customer service!

I purchased a recliner from them on Monday. I specifically asked if I could call back with my decision on purchasing a protection plan and was told that was fine. I called today. 2 days after purchase..to get the plan. I was told it was too late. I was told I had to purchase it before I picked up the chair. When I told them I was not informed of that they responded by telling me they couldn't do anything. DO NOT go to this location. They are not forthcoming with all the information

We ordered our furniture in June, and it was just delivered November 6th. The sales associate assured us that delivery would be by August. We would call the store (and get transferred to a call center immediately), get a tentative delivery date, that would be changed again and again. The sales associate that sold our furniture would not return calls or text messages, and eventually a manager helped us once my wife visited the store in person two times.
We have had great experiences multiple times now with Garrett Granson. He always takes his time with us and helps us envision different furniture layouts in our home. He also doesn’t make you feel like he is working for commission because he just wants you to be happy and get the best deal possible!! If you go here, ask for Garrett!
Offers services then do not follow through with. We purchased two mattresses and some other furniture. At the store we asked if they took the old furniture. The sales person advised they would not take the old furniture, but they would take the old mattresses. Delivery today, and the delivery company refused to take the old mattresses because the store did not mark them for pick up. When I called customer service with Ashley, all they would say is "no pick up was marked". Even though our sales person assured us the old mattresses could be picked up.
To start with, we called to check status on our order with Ashley last week. Other then new mattresses, the sales person never gave us an eta on the rest of the items on our order. When they informed us on our eta of February of next year we cancelled the rest of the order other then the mattresses and one table. We then went elsewhere and ordered and received the other items this week. When we ordered our new mattresses, we asked if they took the old. We were advised that, yes, they would take the old mattresses. Delivery today, and the delivery company said no we can not take the old mattresses because the store did not mark it to be picked up. When I called Ashley about this all they would say and repeat is that they did not have it marked for pick up. So, your sales person sales a service and you refuse to follow through? All he did was repeat himself. And, I did check my paperwork and there is no spot to check or uncheck this service.
I do not recommend working there.

We are loving our furniture choices at Ashley Furniture in Whitestown, IN. Bedroom is hooked up with some extra roomy dressers for me and the master. Some comfy couches and a swivel recliner for our living room. We got the coolest barstools and bar for our dining room tying it to the living room. I cannot wait to come back and grab a dining room table and some end tables and a coffee table. Thank you, Rene for all your help and exceptional customer service!
We ordered our furniture from Ashley Homestore online and they originally said that the items were available for delivery that week, then when the order was finalized they said 6-8 weeks due to Covid, I placed my order on June 1st, they postponed my delivery till Sept, now they are saying it won’t be delivered until December!! 6 months folks, so if you need furniture this year forget it. This has not been a great experience for us. I definitely will be shopping elsewhere in the future. I didn’t cancel my order because I have been waiting for 4 months at this point, they didn’t offer a discount or anything but if they can’t deliver by December we will cancel and contact the BBB because now there is an inquiry on my credit report for a product that they can’t fulfill.

The show room is very spacious and lots of furniture in there. The sales person, Anna, came over to help me and showed me something that I had seen online. It was extremely comfortable so I bought it right then. There were lots of choices but I had this one in mind and thank goodness I did because it was very nice. Anna was professional and didn’t push but was very knowledgeable. And she had beautiful auburn hair. It was a great day.

We went to Ashley for a bed and mattress purchase. We were told that the delivery and installation was free. Even the itemized invoice had "whiteglove premium delivery" for$0.00. They even had ASAP in the delivery. After coming back home we found that they have sneaked in $169.99 for delivery in the total. When inquired about it they just said that your item has delivery charge. We thought if the item will be delivered ASAP the charge is OK. After about 2 months of wait time the item was delivered but in PARTS-footboard was missing. Now we are waiting for another 2 weeks to get the parts delivered. Very worst experience. Felt like we were cheated. Will never recommend the store to friends relatives or neighbors. Update-they gave another delivery date for remaining parts but failed to deliver again... Customer service has not called yet...WORST SERVICE

We were really happy with the level of service when we walked in. They gave us time to look around and didn’t pressure us at all. The sales going on were really good, and she helped us find the one that best fit our needs. The timeline for delivery was reasonable. We really like our salesperson, Lori. Did not have any plans of purchasing any furniture, but after seeing the buy 1 get 1 50% off sale we took full advantage and our sales person Laurie was the BEST. So helpful and sweet and didn’t crowd us whatsoever, but was able to keep up with our fast pace buying style (running all over the store and pointing to things and then quickly changing my mind) and did it all with a smile. Best experience I had ever had buying a bed and sectional.
Went in a couple times shopping and browsing couches and recliners and on second trip in and after multiple different stores we decided on a recliner and sofa from Ashley. Our salesman Charlie was odd but I think it was his last day as well. I told them my budget and what we wanted and they adjusted price to meet our goal. We skipped the delivery charge as I have the means to pickup and bring home and set up. I hope we don’t need to use the protection plan but I have it if need be. It was $500 for the protection plan for two pieces which I feel is about $200 to steep. I think Ashley is banking on us using it so we don’t get the store credit in 5 years. After it’s all said and done I would probably shop there again.

I needed a new bed frame and nightstand. They were really helpful and patient with me while I was trying to decide what would be the best fit for me.
We worked with Bayle while shopping. It was a great experience, she was knowledgeable and did not stalk us through the store. They also price matched their website which for us dropped the recliner we bought by $600. Plus we got the protection plan that is good for five years and includes the electronics and mechanicals of the chair. And if we don't need to use the protection after the five years we get to use that money as in-store credit.

The dresser and headboard came to my house with nicks in it and the rails were a different color than they were supposed to be. I have been dealing with them for over a month and they were supposed to exchange the headboard and rails for new ones and we got a discount for the dresser as we had already taken it upstairs and as it was super heavy we decided to go ahead and keep it. They finally come to supposedly change the headboard and rails and they told me they were not changing the rails just picking them up. Really stupid. I have to have rails to put a bed up

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased from this store.. omg worst place ever.. I purchased a Table and four chairs in April was told it would be delivered on the 10th of May called in now they say it would be delivered on the 15th no table called in spoke with some rude lady who threatened to hang up on me bc I was loud not yelling at her.. I spoke with two ppl not once did they tell me this is a estimate date she says if you look on your receipt it says that.. well why keep giving me a delivery date if you know that’s just a estimate date had you told me this from the beginning I probably wouldn’t be so upset.. these ppl are not truthful I will never step foot in this store again nor do I recommend anyone else.. should have followed my first mind and went to IKEA..If you purchase you never know when you will get your order..

Horrible experience ordered a full bedroom set. Came damaged. Now over a month later and no managers can return calls. Just got parts department and can take over a month to get legs for night stand that were missing and bed slats. Came out 3 times with furniture that was worst than first set. Last time we go here. Update:I did what you said and we are still waiting on our furniture to be complete. We are still paying on furniture and still do not have all units in 100% . Great job again for doing nothing, but waiting my time on phone and email.

Staff was helpful in-person, but after confirming the timeframe, the delivery came 3 hours early with no indication whatsoever beforehand. Really inconveinent to plan a day around the delivery estimation and have them show up outside of that window, especially with how much I'm paying for the delivery charge. Customer service said they couldn't do anything about it and that they were supposed to let me know in advance but did not.
Do not purchase unless you want to have yourself delivery date pushed back months and months without any communication from Ashley. Purchased in December with mid February delivery. Was just informed we are looking at April 29th delivery possibly. Absolutely ridiculous.

Bayle helped us pick out a recliner and we ended up buying three pillows. She was very helpful and pleasant to work with. She was up front about delivery dates taking a while because item has to be ordered and shipped to them. So we know what to expect ahead of time. We were able to take pillows with us. The pillows changed our life! We’ve been on a quest to find “the perfect” pillows this past year where we will not wake up with a back and neck ache, or have to re-fluff in the middle of the night. She helped us pick out the right pillows, and we LOVE them! With the combo of a new mattress and these pillows - we are so happy to get a good nights sleep finally. Thank you Bayle!!!

We had a bad experience at another furniture store where we saw some Ashley dining room chairs. So we decided to cut out the middle man and go directly to Ashley. Got direct shipment to our home for free and the matched their online price! Love not having to take another trip to the store to pick up the chairs.
Great store but their warranty/customer care is terrible. I’ve called 7 times now with no return call about scheduling a warranty issue with one of our pieces of furniture. Lies are all I get. Just passing me on to the next person. This started in the middle of Nov and here we are at the end of February
Purchased a bedroom set and 2 couches during their black Friday sale 2020. By February I still had not received my purchased. I had called multiple times, and every time I called I was told different items were in the warehouse, and the delivery date consistently changed. I finally contacted BBB.org, and amazing the company called me the next day and told me they had my full order and could deliver it February 12th, which they did deliver it. However, not all the pieces of the bed were present so the guys were unable to assemble it, and the bottom drawer to one of the night stands is completely broken and not useable. We have attempted to contact the company regarding these problems, but are transferred to different people with each person saying that problem does not fall in their department and transferring us again or them telling us to email someone etc. So now our bed continues to sit on the floor, and I have a night stand I can not use. This company seems to bank on people getting fed up with dealing with their lies and purchasing furniture from another company. We have paid for our furniture in full back in November, but can not receive our items. I will never shop from this place again. Buyer Beware!!!
Working with Benjamin was amazing! He worked hard to get us other options when what we wanted wasn't in stock. With COVID-19, availability of many couches has been a 6-8 month lead time other places, but we are thrilled to be able to get what we wanted by early April. Having a lead time that quick is huge for us! Excited to get our sectional and finish the new house - wouldn't have been possible this quick without Ben at Ashley Home.

I purchased a couch from them and discussed it the purchase price, financing, and gift card to be received over the phone. I then went in and was told that what I was told was a mistake and those terms could not be honored. I felt it was a bait and switch. The store manager was not the nicest and made me feel that I was at fault. I eventually made the purchase, but I’d definitely look elsewhere and beware of terms given over the phone.
The store was clean, and staff friendly HOWEVER we purchased our furniture on black Friday 2020 and still have not received it. I get told a different date/ that different items are in their warehouse etc. Everytime I call. I will change my rating depending if we get our furniture , if they put it together as we have paid for them to do so, and what the condition of the furniture is.

I purchased a pillow today from your store. The gentleman employee walked me up to the front of the store to ring me up. When he got to the front desk, he picked up the phone to take a call. He was on the phone the ENTIRE time (I’m not sure if it was personal or business). I had to repeat my phone number to him twice. He asked to see my drivers license. When I asked him why, he stated that he needed to make sure that I was giving him my correct name. I was shocked. He didn’t even thank me or anything after the transaction. Bought a couch in August , was told delivery wasn’t until November. Told the store I could only accept delivery on a Friday . Found out it was scheduled for a Thursday. Had to go into the store 40 min from where I live to speak with customer service . Told them I needed it to come on a Friday . Store employee verified it being moved to today, November 20th. No communication , today attempted to call only to find out it had been pushed back without making me aware.... once again , not on a Friday. Over the phone I was told they had no note of a delivery date or note of Friday being the only day I am available . They tell me I have to go back to the store . Will not be shopping with Ashley ever again . Terrible customer service and communication ******update December 7th... couch was now pushed back until late January , and probably will be pushed back again . Have received no call or updates from Ashley furniture . DO NOT SHOP WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!!!!!!

Charlie was very calm, quiet but helpful. He answered my questions well. Though fairly new and I could tell he was still nervous, he was professional and clarified as well as corrected himself when necessary. Everyone at the Whitestown Ashley store appeared friendly and courteous. Not pushy.

I stopped in because of the TV advertisement stating buy a king mattress for the price of a twin. The employee told me that was for the Ashley brand and that they don&'t carry them. How can the Ashley Store not carry their own products? Why have the commercial? *** It wasn&'t that they couldn&'t get them! Your employees told me they don&'t carry them!!! What a scam! You are running these false commercials, trying to get people to come in and in hopes that they buy something else. I think that&'s called bait and switch! Very dishonest!

Purchased furniture in October as they promised I would have it early November. Paid for expedited shipping and everything. Was promised a latest delivery of Nov 7th. This was a blatant lie, the furniture I purchased is not even in stock until mid December, with no idea when it will come. They never once reached out to me to inform me of this change, and no reimbursement or even an apology was offered, just a rude “too bad” after being on hold for over 30 min. Do NOT shop from here, they will tell you whatever they need to to get you to buy from them.
I purchased an electric recliner in March 2020 with cash. Ashley rep said it will be deliver3d in about 3 weeks. I said fine. Three weeks came and they said it will be another 8 weeks due to manufacturing issues. That time came and went. A new delivery date came and went several times. Finally the last date I heard was Oct 17th. On the 17th they said the new date for delivery is December 23rd. I went back to the store and told the manager to cancel my order and just give me my cash back. He said we can’t give you cash. We will have to but it on a debit card that I have. I said will that happen instantly? He said yes. He did the transaction. On the machine. It did not show up he said give it 24 hours. Called back after 24 hours because it did not show up. He said sorry it may take 7-10 working days. Ten days later it showed up. I will never ever ever do business with Ashley Furniture ever again and you should not as well.

Unfortunately we feel lied to at the moment. We were told that two sofas that we picked out were in stock and on the truck within two weeks. I called today and spoke to corporate that told me that wasn't true that I am looking at the very least a month delay. Also, getting a phone call into the actual store is a literal nightmare. We'll be heading in-person since no one answers the phone to hopefully get a refund.

I visited the Ashley Furniture Store to look for a bed. I liked the quality of the furniture that I saw online and I wanted to actually touch the items and make sure the quality could be felt as well as seen. I called ahead and spoke with a salesperson and informed her of what I saw online and made sure that these items were on the floor, which they assured me they were. I was greeted by salesperson when I arrived and walked through the door and she was properly masked for safety. She took me directly to the furniture and answered all of my questions about the items. I purchased a king-sized poster bed set from the Whitestown location. The bed had built-in drawers underneath and and a canopy overhead. I also purchased two nightstands that matched the bed. Delivery time was set about five days out, which I agreed to. The furniture shipped as planned and the delivery driver called to let me know he was on the way. Two guys were on the truck and they immediately began to unload the truck upon arrival. They soon realized that there were several pieces missing and they could not assemble the bed. The delivery guys told me that someone else would deliver the remaining pieces and assemble the bed. Two weeks later another set of delivery guys arrived at my home. Again the same problem - not the correct pieces! I took time out of my busy schedule and drove back to the Whitestown location to speak with the store manager and he assured me that he would straighten everything out. He said the Pandemic had caused issues at the warehouse and this was the reason that the pieces had been missing twice. Two weeks later a third set of delivery drivers arrived at my home with all of the correct pieces and assembled the bed correctly.
45 days and counting still no Ashley couch. Purchased couch on August 28. Was told it would arrive on 10/13. Called on October 13 to see why there has been no follow up. The corporate line said it could be up to a month before it arrives. The corporate customer service also said their sales people give false dates frequently.

He has helped me make a purchase by phone of all items needed for my Dad's new apartment, and has helped make this transition run more smoothly. Had a very painful after buying experience my salesman Ben was awesome. However my delivery kept getting pushed back. The manager Jerry was extremely rude when I called about the delivery getting pushed back I said I’d have to cancel my order and she said “goodluck going elsewhere” Once they delivered it 2 weeks later they brought me the wrong colored couch and now won’t answer my phone calls. Very disappointed!! I wanted to furnish the rest of my house but will have to look elsewhere. Update: got the correct couch in July and wanted to buy more furniture with my “credited money” for half of my couch only to realize that was a complete lie so I wouldn’t cancel the order. Disappointed they didn’t make it right knowing I wanted to get more furniture.

I went to Ashley Home Store to browse for various furniture that I was thinking of purchasing in the future. I had no intention of buying anything, but I met Ben who showed me some options for mattresses. I did not buy a mattress, but I definitely know the one I will get! During this process, I also mentioned about getting a new pillow soon and he promptly showed me various options that provided me the best comfort. I quickly found the perfect pillow and purchased it, again without the intention of buying one that day! Ben was by the best sales professional I have ever met at any store of any business. My wife and I plan on going back!
I went in to Ashley with a list of 3 items but none were available. The very nice sales associate Brenton was very helpful in finding some substitutes for the items on my list. He was courteous and listened to my needs and did not try to push me to buy more furniture than I needed. The Whitestown store was a good experience all around.

Placed an order at Ashley HomeStore today...I can't speak for the furniture quality yet as it might be a while before delivery (thanks to Covid) but the salespeople there were great! Jeri was great and very helpful sales representative!!!! However we bought our couches in the middle of July and we were told that they were backed up so at most it would be the middle of September before we received our sectional which we could deal with because it was only two months. A couple weeks later we received a text saying that we were set to receive the couch September 11 which was around what we had been told. A week later we receive another text now saying it would be 11-13 more weeks!! After calling the store we are informed that now the earliest possible date they will arrive is October 22. I understand being backed up but this much and not telling your customers about this is ridiculous. And the fact that we keep getting pushed back is not right. Not having a couch in your living room gets old very fast!!!! So if you go here be prepared to wait months upon months for your purchase!!!!
We received the very best customer service! The showroom was spotless and all staff and guest were wearing masks and hand sanitizer was conveniently located throughout the showroom. We were warmly greeted by our sales associate Jamie, she was extremely respectful and knowledgeable. My husband found chairs that were comfortable and perfect for the family room. I remembered a side table and accessories located in another area I asked if I could bring the items to see how it would look together she said we will bring those for you (yes, these items sealed the sale). Two additional team members helped without hesitation and were very happy to help. This was a great experience! My husband said he would go furniture shopping again but only at this location. We thank you for all the help and look forward to our delivery!
I think I liked the furniture I ordered but who knows when I will actually receive it. I wonder if I will remember what it looks like when it is delivered. I ordered several living room and dining room pieces and was told it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery. I understood - COVID is wreaking havoc. However, the communication around actual delivery is a joke. I have received multiple texts, emails, calls saying that my furniture would be delivered August 1, August 7, August 8 and now August 12th for some of it and October 21st for the rest. I even went into the store and they said that it was showing an August 8th delivery and that an ER (or something like that) was sent to make sure it was delivered on August 8th. On August 6th I called to see about the delivery on August 8th and now it isn&'t scheduled until August 12th. I am not sure when i will get it at this point because I get a different answer with every single person I talk to. I tried to call the Whitestown location and after being on hold for way too long it sounded like someone picked up and then hung up. I am so disappointed in the customer service around delivery.

Store associate was incredibly helpful when we were picking out our couch in May. Told us due to COVID, delivery was slower than usual, but we would get our couch on June 23, which was fine. The week we were supposed to have our new couch delivered, we sold our old couch. Delivery just got pushed back for the 4th time. New delivery date is the end of July. Meanwhile, our living room is empty and we have family coming into town next weekend. Tried to call the store to understand what is going on. Both times sat on hold for 10-15 minutes before the line went dead. I will update this review when/if the couch finally arrives or if we are eventually able to get in contact with someone from the Ashley team. Update #1: half of our sectional was delivered on July 8. In the last 24 hours, I have been told that the delivery date for the other half will be July 15, July 27, August 5, and August 18. Every person tells me the other date I received was wrong. I first spoke to Ben on Monday who said they would do “whatever they could to make things right”, but then offered no solutions. He promised a Tuesday call back, but no call came. I called today and spoke to Jerry who was dismissive of my concerns. She promised a call back from Carlos, the store manager, on Friday. Meanwhile, I have half a couch, no updated delivery date, and a protection plan that I paid for that started before I even received my furniture. Update #2: our delivery date continues to change. I got a text that said “after August 19”, when I called to follow up, I was told that it would likely be September and that would call me back the next day. 3 days later I have received no call back. I am beginning to feel scammed by Ashley.
In store customer service was great, love the lady that helped us. I'm giving Ashley's one star because of the delays. We've ordered a mattress with adjustable base. Mattress came in but no base. So now we're sleeping on concrete floor. Doesn't matter what kind of matress it is, concrete makes it uncomfortable. My delivery has been delayed for the third time now. I go to call to find out why but I waited on hold for about ten minutes only for the call to drop on their end. This happened three time. I have fibromyalgia and in pain when I wake up. Having to sleep on concrete makes it worse. Getting the mattress and base was to help the pain I didn't pay for something and not receive it. I understand maybe one or two times of a delay. Three times is unacceptable and not being able to get ahold of anyone because their end disconnects me is poor customer service.
Shady business practices, cannot deliver on promised date (order placed 2.5 months in advance) and will charge a whopping 10% of your entire order. The worst part is none of them will tell you anything about the cancellation fees.
Update: I purchased my furniture 2 months in advance of the delivery date and today I received a message saying my stuff will be delivered 2 weeks after the original delivery date. One would think 2 months would be plenty of time, guess not! What makes me really furious is I can not get anyone to answer the phone. Service after the sale is nonexistent. What kind of store that doesn’t answer the phone? One that should be avoided! Do not buy from Ashley Furniture. I repeat do not buy from them. They cannot deliver products and will charge you 10% of your order if you cancel your order. Keep in mind, not one mention of this ridiculous fee was ever said. They expect you to read the fine print. You can either wait for your stuff or get charged for something that is entirely not your fault. There are many other choices to buy furniture from. Ashley Furniture should never be one of them unless they change the ways they do business. Absolutely shameful.

I was shopping for a mattress for my 91-year-old mother-in-law. She was unable to come into the store due to her health. Jeri was so helpful and understanding. She helped me decide the best mattress for her that would be functional and give her the most restful sleep,
Ashley is the worse furniture ever. Total junk! Our couch cushions won&'t stay on, the recliner arm is off.... the whole arm. And the other recliner the stitching came apart and the insides are falling out. We&'ve tried multiple times to make it right with them. I&'ve spent literally hours on hold. If I could set it on fire in their parking lot I would! Never again will I or any of my friends purchase anything associated with Ashley.
When we bought our bed several months ago we were under the impression that Ashley furniture was made in the USA. We asked the staff at the store why it took so long to get the furniture and they explained that they make the furniture here in the US and that it is made to order. Needless to say, I was a bit surprised to see the Made in Vietnam stickers all over the bed. There was also a staple that broke through the side of the wood, not a problem for me to repair and I do like the bed. It was also a half inch off at the head of the bed and the support board did not fit correctly, again, I repaired this myself but it was obvious the bed was not put together at least once as a test by the factory in Vietnam to make sure everything was manufactured correctly. If you're looking for made in the USA furniture, Ashley Furniture is probably not the place to shop.
The first week of May, my boyfriend and I went to Ashley Home Store and we were very excited to order new bedroom and living room furniture for our new home. Bedroom furniture was delivered promptly within 2 weeks. The living room furniture is a disaster. I had a scheduled delivery the first week of June, Ashley calls me and tells me they don’t have part of my order and would I like to reschedule so I can have it all together. I agree to the new delivery date. They are supposed to come on a Friday but instead they call a day early and ask if it’s ok to come, I said sure. They show up and say “oh we don’t have part of your couch” mind you it’s an L shaped couch and they now have the part I was supposed to be waiting on to have all of my furniture delivered together and are missing the piece they originally had. Hm, I’m upset. So I call, they reschedule for the middle of July. They don’t call and they don’t show up. So I head to the store. Carlos, the store manager tells me it will be delivered on July 11th. That he shows that in his system. He offers no apologies as to what has happened so far. No ownership, nothing. I get it, it’s a supply chain issue. What I don’t get it the pure lack of leadership from a manager. If you don’t want to deal with it, then don’t show up to work because when we’ve spent close to 5,000 I would really appreciate someone who appreciates me as a customer and acknowledges my frustrations. So the day after speaking to Carlos, I received a text saying my piece of furniture was again not coming. Again, I go to the store, I show him the text. He told me to disregard it. Well Saturday comes and goes and guess what?? No couch. I call Ashley furniture and speak to Jerri and she said “oh I see here that Carlos has rescheduled that delivery for Wednesday, July 15th”. HM!! OK. Well I’m not going to be home that day. So on July 15th I call to speak to Carlos and again was met with those not so amazing management skills. So I have half of an L shaped couch and not a single soul can help me and all that Carlos is willing to do is shrug his shoulders. I am hoping that they fix this situation before I have to take the part of the couch I have and deliver it to the front of their showroom window.

The product that we purchased 2/17 2020 came in damaged Two recliners and sofa sleeper All three damaged and has not to this day have been made right 7/17/2020 this is after many many calls being made and being on hold being hanged up on I would not recommend them for products customer serves or for any dealings

He kept an eye out for incoming pieces once he had a sense of what i was looking for and kept me aware of upcoming promotions so I would be able to make the best choices with the greatest value for my dollar. Recently spent THOUSANDS of dollars and then told after we paid that the delivery would take a month.. we left upset but agreed to wait. Then we received a text stating the delivery would take an additional month on top of the month we’ve already waited. At this point we want our money back but can’t seem to get ahold of anyone at the store!

We were in on a rainy Saturday afternoon and were helped right away by Daniel. He explained the layout of the store in a great tone and listened and gave insight when we told him what we were looking for. He was quick and knowledgeable getting together pricing on sectionals with a lot of variables and final paperwork was handled quickly. We found everything we needed and were out within 40 minutes. The location is doing what they can to provide space for physical distancing by extending their sales period and keep the number of customers in store down. Lots of sanitizer is available and the staff seemed comfortable doing their jobs in masks; only about half of the other shoppers were masked but we were able to walk well around them. We could have used more space at the desk while the paperwork was being drafted, but it was done quickly at least.
Purchased from this location in October. Bought a love seat, sofa, end tables, oversized chair and ottoman. They warned us it could be 3-4 weeks for delivery. We were ok with that. 4 weeks turned to 10 weeks. We received everything but the chair and ottoman. We were told they would be in around Feb 1. I took off work for the 3rd time as this was the 3rd delivery date given. They called the night before and said the furniture would be delayed another 2 weeks. I told them to forget those pieces and take them off my bill. These were not rookie mistakes from this new store, this was from corporate customer service. This experience left a sour taste for Ashley Furniture and we will not shop here again.

Ben Bare was helpful and friendly. He let us look around on our own and approach him when we had questions which was nice. I decided on a couple of chairs for my living room and when I decided on a couch he offered to bring one of the chairs next to the couch so I could see how they looked together. That was very thoughtful. The experience was great.

Treated our elderly parents to a new bed. Daniel showed us all of the bells and whistles to include lights under the mattresses, vibrating mattress system and supportive pillows. Our experience was a family social activity on Memorial Day.

I love the new furniture but I can't stand the customer service. With Covid-19 we purchased furniture online which made me nervous but we love it! On the other hand, good luck trying to get someone on their chat feature on the website. Also, they charged and refunded my card 3 times throughout the 8 weeks I waited to get my furniture. This has really been messing up my finances. I wake up again today and the charge is gone, AGAIN. It is driving me insane.

Everything from our moment in was great. I usually try to avoid furniture stores because the sales people feel a bit pushy, but that was not our experience here at all. Our sales person, Jamie, was awesome and answered our questions without making us feel like we were being sold to. She gave us space to discuss and look around without breathing down our necks. We will definitely go back when we need more furniture!
Everyone was busy when I came in so I wasn't greeted but it gave me a chance to wander and look at everything first by myself. By the time I'd made up my mind the sales manager was helping me and it was a quick and easy process! Great selection!

I’m furnishing a two bedroom apartment. All the furniture in the store is pretty nice but the help is poor. We walked the entire store almost twice without being assisted. Once we were assisted we decided to try the financing after we finish up browsing. The associate told us we can look around more “depending on what we are approved for” before she started the financing process. She just assumed we couldn’t pay out of pocket. That was the tipping point for us considering we have the money for everything we want. Will not be going back to this store.
Would never spend a dime at this business. Visited the location in Indianapolis, indiana carleton store. As an african american walked the while store and not one salesperson walked up to us and asked if we needed help. But watched as they flocked to all the non african Americans in the store. I wouldn't accept free furniture from this business. Would have given zero stars if it was an option.
Lillian saw us pull in the handicap spot in the lot, opened the door for us, & alerted us to the frigid temperature in the store. She showed us recliners that met our needs, & got a blanket for my Mom. Both she & Ronald helped us with the paperwork, & we were done in a flash.
We just wanted to thank our sales associate Ben Bare. He was very knowledgeable and patient when he took us through all of our options. We decided on a gray sectional with added seating and an ottoman. A pleasant buying experience. This was our third time buying furniture from Ashley Home store.
Bought 4 pieces of furniture. Went to the store and requested to exchange one that didn't match as expected. I accepted the restocking fee and was told that I would be sent an email. Its been over 4 weeks and have gotten no email. Instead I get emails from individual staff about sale events. I replied to the emails inquiring about my initial request and got no response. Just keep getting more emails about sales. I have since spammed them and never going back. Shop at your own risk I guess.
Had a pleasant experience purchasing a recliner back in feb, had it delivered and it wasn’t the power recliner that I thought I bought. Turns out there was a small discrepancy in the item # that caused the issue. I went to the store and Carlos fixed the problem promptly and made it a lot less stressful for me. I’ve read reviews on delivery issues but it did came on time and as planned, just the incorrect product which wasn’t the delivery persons fault. Next time I know to not triple check but quadruple check I’m getting the correct item as promised. I appreciate Carlos’ professionalism and everyone else in there is happy to help. Thanks guys!
I visited this store to look for new furniture for my apartment. I was treated by a friendly staff member, Daniel, who worked with me to find everything I needed. With recommendations and help throughout I walked away with a full apartments worth of furniture. Financing was easy and the sales manager Carlos worked hard to explain everything thoroughly. My family and I are old customers of Ashley Furniture, and having moved a month ago we have needed a lot of furniture. Our most recent experience, with a sales professional by the name of Jamie Kennedy, was outstanding. She took her time with helping us, without shoving a sales pitch in our face. She followed up with us, while also helping others, to ensure we were finding what we were looking for. Jamie was a great help and super kind to us. I would highly recommend this store for good quality and contemporary furniture!

Went into the store, Ashleys store in Zionsville on Last Sunday after going to other stores and getting played around with the salespersonal. Met with Jamie our salesperson. However, we are wanting to purchase mattresses and she did the figures and told us how much the mattresses with the base at which is free and discounted will be. Well, we left the store. She never told us that the sale was going to end that day. She just said that we were able to come back in and ask for her if she we can go ahead and move forward with the deal. . However, we went into the store on February 28th, and she was not there that day and the manager on duty put us with another sales person after they negotiate what they were going to do and how they were going to negotiate this deal, which I thought it was just very unusual when you already have a salesperson on a deal. So we went to look at the mattresses again, and then she I asked her and pacifically. Are we still going to get the 0 interest on the mattresses? , she stated to me. Yes. And then decided then she will have me fill out the credit application. Not giving me the full information and disclosure on what she's was going to run my credit and how Next thing. I know I get approved for a different amount. This was she told me and some of the amounts was from some kind of credit card and then some kind of loan. I did not ask her to do that. Then they told me that I can no longer have the deal. They're going to have to do another deal and I told her at that point. I was not interested and I would not be back to that Ashleys. When reading this, please understand before they run your credit make sure you get all the Information and let them know What you want before they run your credit! I will be taking this to a corporate level. It wasn't right for them to do what they did knowing that they were not going to give me that deal. They shouldn't have never touched my credit.!!!!

I Initially went into Ashley to browse because I just bought my first home. I fell in LOVE with a dining table set and knew I had to have it. The sales woman, Jeri was beyond helpful and went out of her way to ensure that I got the best deal. At the time, they had a discount going on (around Black Friday) and I had gone the day after the sale had ended and she still honored the promotion from the day prior, which I thought was so kind of her! I would highly recommend shopping here. Amazing selection and great people!
Jeri was very helpful answering our questions and being extremely patient with us. No high pressure salesmanship, just honest advice. The store on Whitestown Pkwy is new and the showroom is clean with a variety of options. We were able to find multiple items for our new home.

Went in to look for new living room furniture and a kitchen table. Greg was super patient while I changed my mind and contemplated pretty much everything and gave me honest answers to all my questions. The no interest is a plus and the warranty, I'm sure, is going to be a life saver. Definitely one of the better shopping experiences I've had!!
We generally like Ashley Furniture and have purchased several things for our home from their stores... but this review isn’t about the product because we like Ashley for their product. For product, I’d give a 4 star rating. But I’m reviewing based on post-purchase experience which is 2 stars. The delivery process is extremely frustrating and takes forever. They seem to always take 2-3 weeks for anything we buy. I could understand this delay in availability if the items were customized in any way, but for stuff that only comes as you see it on the showroom floor, this waiting game is highly annoying. Then, once the items are available for delivery, the schedule for delivery is another 2 weeks out! To make matters worse, once you agree on the day to deliver, you are only told about the time window for that delivery 24-48 hours before the delivery day. So if that time doesn’t work for you, too bad... you’ve gotta wait another 2 weeks for the next delivery date. I originally wanted to purchase a second sofa like the one that I just bought for a different room in my house, but I honestly don’t know if I can deal with the delivery delay game again 😩 to give this review additional perspective regarding timeframe... we purchased the sofa mid December and now we have a mid February delivery day. —compared to similar furniture stores in the area that we’ve also purchased from, Ashley’s post-purchase service and delivery is not a good experience at all. To be honest, next time I need furniture, I’d be tempted to spend a little more money somewhere else than to consider waiting forever on delivery again.

Oh, the chaos of this company continues. Yesterday, 1 day before I'm scheduled to pick up the new ottoman, I get a call offering free delivery of a replacement ottoman. Free delivery BUT it's going to take longer to get. Thanks but no thanks, I'll pick it up at this point. I just want my ottoman! Today, I take back the damaged ottoman and am looking forward to pick up my new ottoman and put this ordeal behind us. The distribution center DOESN'T HAVE MY OTTOMAN. I was told it would be ready to pick up January 17th. Because I was out of town, I told them I'd pick up January 22. So.....where is it?!?! Ordered Black Friday and still no ottoman. Ashley, get your shit together!!! Now I was told I'd be receiving a new ottoman via free delivery. I wonder how long it's going to take to actually get to my house. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!

The salesman (Anthony) was very helpful. There was no pressure at all to buy. Anthony ran the numbers 4 different ways to give me choices when it came to paying. He was also very upfront about any and all charges. Now on to my purchases. I purchased a sectional and a oversized recliner. Both of which are just what I was in the market for. I am super happy with my choices, my better half is even more happy than I am. The store at Whitestown is very clean and new. Their selection is huge. I will definitely be back there for future purchases. I traveled an hour to get there and I'm very happy I did.

On Black Friday I ordered an ottoman to match our furniture that we bought last year at the Castleton location store. Because we didn't want to pay the $70 delivery fee, I picked up the ottoman on December 19th at the warehouse in Plainfield. When I got there, there was a note on the door saying they've moved locations. No one told this prior to me getting there but luckily they were still in the process of moving items to the other location and my ottoman was still there. I had no problems with signing for it and having a nice woman put it into the back of my minivan. It was nice and wrapped up so I wasn't worried about my new piece of furniture getting dirty or damaged. Since we'd waited about 3 weeks to get it I was excited to get it home and see it with the rest of my furniture. Once home, we unwrapped it and found it was damaged. I immediately called the call center who directed me to the store. I told them I was very disappointed that I picked up my piece 30ish minutes away from my home only to find it broken upon arrival. Apparently I should have requested that I check it first but it was so well wrapped up I assumed it was fine and I didn't want it to get dirty or damaged on the drive home. I let them know that I'd like a replacement delivered to me when they pick up the broken one. Due to the holidays, we played a lot of phone tag with no answers yet on my replacement or delivery. Today, I finally get a call that my ottoman is ready be scheduled for delivery and I owe $70 for the delivery fee. I am NOT willing to pay for a delivery fee for an item I received broken that I chose to pick up (not convenient to my home at all) because I wasn't willing to pay 1/3 of the cost of the item for it to be delivered in the first place. They came back and said they could reduce the fee to $50 but can't go any lower. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. This is terrible customer service. I told them I will pick it up again (while returning the broken one) this Wednesday in Plainfield. Now they tell me it isn't available for pick up until January 17! Where is it?!?! I called weeks ago saying it was damaged so why do they not have a new one? Almost a full month after I picked up the broken one. So, buyers. Know what you are getting into when working (or not working) with Ashley Furniture. Needless to say, I am NOT HAPPY with this entire experience and will NOT be so quick to go back to this store. Which is really sad. I was so excited they were coming in so close to my home. I've bought several nice pieces from (other locations) but this whole experience of very poor customer service and a very time consuming and lengthy process has changed my views this store.

We decided to buy a new couch and loveseat, our first New set in 20 years! Went to Ashley HomeStore and was greeted and welcomed right away. Given a flyer on the New Year special promotion. We were able to look around , found something we liked and shortly Ms. Jeri asked if we had any questions. We left with the most beautiful set too be delivered in 2 weeks!! I couldn't be happier! We haD heard that it was pretty expensive, I did Not find that to be the case . If you are thinking about a new furniture purchase you really owe it to yourself to go check Ashley HomeStore our, you won't be sorry.
The Whitestown store is amazing! I was greeted immediately upon entering the store by Jeri. She was kind and was eager to show me around and asked if I was looking for something specific. I told her my interest and she led me to what was available. Once I found my piece we discussed the pricing and I let her know that online was showing a little better discount and she was able to print off the price match and I was sold. I can't wait to get it! Thank you, Jeri for such a pleasant experience and I will definitely be back. Hopefully it's to purchase that beautiful dinette set I fell in love with.

I came in on a decently busy Saturday but I still shouldn't have had one of the Worst experiences I've EVER had!! First of all when shopping for furniture for a new house it's already a stressful time without hearing the store manager belittling one of his employees on the phone. To me that is just very unprofessional. Finally when the store manager introduced himself to me it felt like he was talking down to me and judging me for the questions I was asking him about his products. I dont know how a business like this can still have customers with a manager like they have. I will never be returning to this location ever again!

DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS LOCATION! Friends of ours purchased a kitchen table - after delivery #4 - the table is still not correct - it has either been wrong table delivered, damaged (twice) and now the when the leaf is in the table, it will not close. My friends have tried to get a refund and was told "it is against company policy and get the run around by cooperate and store personnel" We were going to buy new furniture for home but after this we will be going elsewhere. Customer service is terrible and our friends should get their money reimbursed to them at this point as Ashley hasn't kept their promise on quality - why would anyone want the table after the 3rd delivery attempt anyway and it was damaged AGAIN! Ashley needs to make it right with them and reimburse money to them and move on. I did read that each Ashley furniture is owned & operated so I'm hoping the owner contacts them personally and makes it right.
Store was very inviting. Jeri was a huge help and made us feel comfortable with our visit. We never felt pressured while in the store. In fact, Jeri mentioned on a few occasions she would walk away to let us discuss our options in private. We will definitely go back for any future furniture purchases.

If their "Escalation Team" is so busy they are unable to keep up that SPEAKS VOLUMES! Avoid this company!!!! It is too bad yelp doesn't allow negative numbers for their reviews. This company had a great opportunity to fix the issue or at the very least be responsive or at least follow thru, but nope! Well they brought another table. It was broken too! They won't take it back and cancel the sale. They only want to keep giving me a new one. They are totally unwilling to do anything else.

Bought a new sofa and dresser yesterday with Jim Lincoln. He was very helpful while also giving me and my fiancé plenty of time and space to discuss before we made a decision. We will definitely be back for our next furniture purchase!
Didn’t have a good experience I walked in with my boyfriend looking for a new mattress and no one greeted us. I saw one associate on the floor assisting another couple I’m not sure if he saw us so we kept walking around. We walked around and tested out mattresses ourselves for 20 minutes and still no one greeted us. As we were walking out the same associate looked me in the eye and still never said hi we also saw 2 associates at the front desk on their phone and didn’t say hi bye or anything to us :(
After 4 months of fighting I have finally given up on Ashley. This has been the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had and the moment we left the showroom and they had our money, the nightmare has never stopped. Our furniture was a month late, they damaged every piece, and 3 months later even though we filed a delivery damage report and had the mechanism fixed within a week, Sharon, the district manager, has basically told me to kick rocks and she won't be fixing my furniture because she claims we did not make a delivery damage claim and delivery damage is not covered under our warranty. Below are pictures of my furniture taken only a couple of weeks after delivery. There are scratches on all sides of my couches, there are crooked pieces and misaligned seats, the seat cushions are already failing, the ottoman table we bought was missing pieces and has defective foam, and even though we paid a good deal extra for the warranty, we're being told it doesn't apply to any of this and we're basically completely out of luck. Sharon is by far the most unhelpful manager I have ever spoken to and has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. How she ever reached a position of power with her absolutely abysmal attitude is beyond me. But I will never step foot in an Ashley store again and I would advise anyone who values their money to do the same. I informed her that I would be making a complaint the BBB and leaving as many digital and personal bad reviews as I could but of course she wasn't the least bit concerned because they have my money already. I literally repair furniture for a living and often do contract work for Ashley, and I can tell you that this is not at all an uncommon experience and probably half the Ashley calls I respond to are because of severe manufacturing defects or gross negligence on delivery. They are an absolute joke of a company and doing even just a little bit of research past the generic 5 star reviews will show you just how bad they are when it comes to standing behind their product. Go to La-Z-Boy, go to Macy's, go to JCPenny. All wonderful companies with absolutely amazing customer service who stand behind their product until the very end and don't make a habit out of screwing their customers over once they leave the show room. JCPenny and Macy's will literally exchange a whole piece if they can't get the part to fix it. I've seen people get a whole new couch from Macy's because there was a small defect and they couldn't replace the part. Take it from someone who sees a dozen clients a day, Ashley furniture is absolute garbage.
My wife and I visited this location and we came upon a model in the store with a pullout sleeper included that appealed to us since we plan on having visitors. The salesman told us about the sectional and we decided to purchase it based on the properties and qualities. Upon filling out paperwork for purchasing, we confirmed that the sectional did come with the pullout sleeper bed to which we were told by the salesman “came standard on this model.” A few weeks later, the sectional couch delivered with no issues, but we did note that what was delivered did not have the pullout sleeper as we were told. I called the Ashley Homestore and the employee who answered said that the salesman was off for the day but she would contact him the next day to ask about the issue and contact me back. The employee called back the next day and stated that the salesman recalled my wife and I stating that we did not want the sleeper option because it added too much length. Neither of us recall saying anything about the length being an issue and were under the impression that we were being sold the sectional with the sleeper. The employee also said that the floor model did not have the pullout bed which didn’t make sense as it was one of the reasons we chose that particular one. The employee then proceeded to tell me that if I did want the pullout sleeper, it would be an approximate additional cost of $500. After confirming with my wife and parents who were also present with us during the purchase that nothing was said about a sleeper bed length issue, I contacted the store manager two days later (the Ashley Homestore phone had a disconnect dial tone all the next day, so I couldn’t get through). I explained what had happened and that the sleeper option we assumed had been sold to us would cost several hundred dollars more after the fact that we had found out we were falsely sold the option without the sleeper. The manager stated that to get the pullout sleeper would cost the extra $500 but that he would not charge delivery for a replacement. I understand that we were not charged for a sleeper and that no delivery charge would help, but the fact is we were sold a sectional couch said to have the sleeper pullout and purchased it with that in mind to find out that we did not receive what we were initially told we were buying. Had we known that the sleeper was not included, we very well may have chosen a different model. The issue being that any salesman can promise certain features upon making the sale to have the features not included upon the purchased model. In addition, the sectional did not deliver with accent pillows. Due to incompetence in training and dishonest employees, this will be my last Ashley furniture purchase.
Purchased a couch from Ashley's and it was delivered in June. The couch broke in half in August. We have called weekly since it broke and can't even get anyone to come out to look at the couch. This place was amazing. We were able to find exactly what we needed and were able to get it within our price range. Sean (our Sales Rep) was nothing but generous and helpful. Highly recommend this place, and if you need assistance Sean is your man to go to.
I need a new mattress and box spring. I explained that a box spring would need to be literally cut to go upstairs in my old farmhouse, thought perhaps an adjustable frame might be a better option. I was told by the salesman, "yes some frames would fit the narrow stairs". We proceeded to choose a frame and mattress. I was assured each step of the way "no problem with this one". My items were both in stock at the local warehouse. Guess what? When the delivery arrived 8 days later, no way was it going to fit up the stairs!! This was after the sales person had verified with his supervisor that he was correct on the item he was selling me! This was very poor service! When I include the multitude of other issues *delivery fee is four times what another local store charges and does not guarantee they will remove old mattress and box spring. * The acknowledgement paperwork is presented after the credit card has been approved, which then explains the "restocking fee" if I decide not to keep the product after the trial period. * Sale notices are posted around the store but the receipt does not indicate any discount has been given. When I asked I was told they "don't play games like the other guys", what they quoted was the best price I could find anywhere. Not really an answer to my question, I still do not know if I received a "sale" price. When they found they had no adjustable frame that would go up my staircase, they very kindly immediately started the refund process, telling me it would be approximately 10 business day, usually no more than that. All thing considered I will not recommend the Ashley Furniture stores.

This was after the sales person had verified with his supervisor that he was correct on the item he was selling me! This was very poor service! When I include the multitude of other issues *delivery fee is four times what another local store charges and does not guarantee they will remove old mattress and box spring. * The acknowledgement paperwork is presented after the credit card has been approved, which then explains the "restocking fee" if I decide not to keep the product after the trial period. * Sale notices are posted around the store but the receipt does not indicate any discount has been given. When I asked I was told they "don't play games like the other guys", what they quoted was the best price I could find anywhere. Not really an answer to my question, I still do not know if I received a "sale" price. When they found they had no adjustable frame that would go up my staircase, they very kindly immediately started the refund process, telling me it would be approximately 10 business day, usually no more than that. All thing considered I will not recommend the Ashley Furniture stores.

The Castleton store is where we shopped for the 2nd time in 2 years. Superb collection and very cooperative staff. Our salesman Susan has done a phenomenal job in helping us get what we need. She went above and beyond to help us pick our bedroom set and accent chairs after 2 long seasons over the Labor Day weekend. . . will definitely visit again for next purchase.
The salesman ordered the wrong pieces for the sectional we wanted. We found this out the hard way when the sectional was delivered. The delivery men were very nice and professional, and let me know prior to opening the items that they were incorrect based on the layout my wife and I want. We knew the salesman was new, but still gave him his shot. After the delivery men took the two wrong items back to the truck they left. I contacted this store immediately, requested the sales manager but was advised the manager was off for the day. The lady who spoke with me was very nice after I explained the situation she assured me I would be refunded the delivery fee back to my card and we would be contacted in a couple hours after the delivery had closed on their end to be informed of what will happen next. This all took place Friday 8/23/19. Nothing has been refunded to my card nor have neither my wife or I been contacted. I called them back on 8/27/19 was on hold for almost 30 minutes before deciding to leave a voicemail. It's now 8/28/19 and no email, or calls have been made to either my wife or I. We currently have 2 pieces of a 4 piece sectional in our living that look absolutely ridiculous. The 2 missing pieces I hope arrive soon but no one seems to want to help.

We had the worst time trying to find a new mattress that fit all of our needs. Jeri at Ashley spent a great amount of time with us, going over options, testing out mattresses and making sure we were absolutely happy. The manager worked with us as well on a specific need and they both went above and beyond what we would have expected from anywhere else. It was the best experience and we will definitely be back to purchase more furniture from this Ashley location!
Excellent customer service from Jeri as well as the manager!!! She was very patient and attentive to us and helped with the many different needs we had in a mattress. We even had a few issues with our selection and they provided exceptional additional customer service. We will definitely be back to buy more furniture from here!

**update** Jada called right after my post here and was able to help me out and price match for me. Thanks for working with me! Bought a couch here yesterday and had a seemingly great buying experience with Jim. I went online to show someone a picture of the couch I just bought, and found out the price at $200 less online. I called the store to ask about it, and a woman named Diamond answered and was incredibly rude. She refused to let me speak with a manager and wouldn't not answer my questions. The three stars are all for Jim, otherwise I I wouldn't give this anymore than one star.

Do not purchase from this store 4 deliver 2 pieces. 1st delivered 1 piece, 2nd delivered damaged piece, 3 delivery the for got to deliver, I'm on my 4th deliver. After confirming all deliveries via phone, email & text. When purchasing I was told it was in stock. In preperation for new furniture I had old furniture donated. Not happy.
I bought a dining room set online, set up delivery. On the day of delivery, the truck was very late. It arrived almost 3 hours AFTER the latest time if the delivery window. When they brought in the table, I noticed a gouge in the table top and refused deliver. I called Ashely, and after being on hold for almost an hour, I was transferred to another dept. The other dept said they couldnt help me and hung up. I had to call again, and was on hold for another hour. I finally got someone on the phone and was told that if I wanted a Saturday delivery, I would have to wait 2 weeks . They made NO accommodation for the fact they had sent me a damaged table. So, I took another afternoon off work to get the table delivered. It arrived. . . and it was the SAME table, but with wood filler in where the gouge used to be. Not only did the wood filler not even match the wood, there was more damage to the table top. Again, I was on hold for over an hour. This time I just got my money back. This is clearly not a company I can trust.
Horrible service, customer service don't know what they are doing. We ordered replacement cushions from them in June. They told us would come in 8 business days. We called in 10 business days and they told us it could take 30 days. I called in 35 days and they told us that we couldn't order that part from them, instead we would have to purchase the entire item. Yet. . . they didn't call us and tell us that. They already had our money. REALLY ?!?!!?

Wow. Normally new stores have enthusiastic new sales staff... not the case here. Walked by four employees who looked at me and said nothing. When I asked for help, the woman recommended I try a competitor’s store for a better selection. The only thing they’ve got going for them is a clean new store. Good luck.
I visited Ashley furniture a couple times this month to get a sectional and a chair. After visiting a few other stores we decided to go with Ashley. Brent our sales associate was able to help us find the perfect sectional and chair. He was personable and didn't push us to get the most expensive pieces of furniture. He was quick with information about the furniture we wanted. His manager Ron was able to give us the best price possible and was very polite. We will be back to get a bed frame from the Castleton Ashley furniture in a couple months.

Went to this Castleton store a couple weeks ago to look for dining room furniture and end tables for my living room. I pretty much knew what I wanted when I went in there, because I had seen it online. I went in the store, found what I wanted, and then wandered around for about 15 minutes looking for someone to help me. A couple people were working with customers, but I didn't see anyone else. No one said anything to me like "Someone will be with you in a few minutes. " Left the store and drove an hour back home. I will try the Greenwood store when I have more time.
We purchased a living room set. Everyone went great with the delivery. We then purchased a 6 piece bedroom set. That delivery was so bad. We had to wait for months before we could get delivery because of the foot board. On the day of delivery, my husband had hip surgery but my mother in law was waiting for delivery. Ashley was given the gate code and typed it in with the order, but they didn't have it. I missed the call because my phone didn't get very good signal at the hospital and when I noticed and called back, I was sent through an automated system. I was told that they only wait 15 minutes and it took me 20 minutes to talk to someone. We then had to wait another month or so for delivery. Back to the living room set. The one side of the couch broke, while still under warranty. We called the store, they gave us the phone number for the furniture repair company, that they use. First repair, the gentleman was to be here between 1-5, he called at 1 and said he was sick. Ok, missed a day of work. Second repair, the gentleman was to be here between 8-12. He called around 8, started he would be here because he hurt his leg. Another day of missed work. Third repair to be rescheduled. Don't buy anything from Ashley Furniture. Especia As of March 8 2019, a repair technician from Fast Furniture Repair came to my home. He took pictures and concluded that the repair would take 3-4 hours. He had to get approval. So, on March 8, a technician came to my home to repair, he opened the back of the couch. We were then told that he can't fix it because they didn't give him the lumber to fix. Another vacation day wasted and another rescheduled appointment. Don't use Fast Furniture Repair. . .
Ronald met us as we walked in, asked us what we were looking for, pointed us in the right direction and then let us look by ourselves. When we had a question, he was easy to find and had answers for us. We made our purchases, Ronald took care of us and was very pleasant. Easy peazy.

I have had two great experiences here. Over a year ago I bought my bed and mattress there and I love it! Today I went in looking for a new sofa because my current one is worn. CJ greeted me and told me about the specials they had going on. He pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for and did not hover. As I tried a few, he came back and asked if he could show me a few more options. I fell in love with the first two I found. However, he patiently took me around the whole store to look at all the options. Ultimately I picked a sofa and love seat set that has power recliners and headrests. And they are able to deliver in less than two weeks! He provided great service, went over all my options and I was very impressed and thankful!
Stopped in at the Castleton location just to browse and found the perfect bookcase. Received help from the very friendly but just as important not pushy Scott. Jada at the checkout has helped us out many times and is always a smiling face to help guide us through the financing.
After purchasing a dining room table with eight chairs, and two bar stools, which included a paid warranty on the furniture, I had a repair request. One of the chairs has a loose leg with a screw missing, and the bar stool support bar continually comes out. These are minor repairs, but in order not to void the paid warrantee, I called Ashley HomeStore, to request the repair. I was transferred to the corporate office, where I spoke to a female call-taker by the name of Asia (she would not provide me with her last name). After describing the problem, Asia informed me a request could not be taken until I supplied pictures of the furniture to be repaired, Asia then provided me her email address, where I was to forwarded the pictures. This is not part of the contact warrantee, which I explained to Asia, and said Ashley Stores is more than welcomed to come and take whatever pictures they want, but I do not need to send pictures of damaged product. In addition, the salesman never mentioned this to me, and when I had to have repairs done on a chair when the furniture was initially delivered, I was not asked to take pictures. Asia, continually repeated the same statement over and over, and out of frustration, I asked to speak with her supervisor or manager, Asia continually repeated the same statement, you will need to send a picture before the work order will be submitted. Needless to say, my temperature elevated so high, I started speaking to her in a way I have never spoken to anyone. Again, after asking four times for a supervisor or manager, which Asia ignored, I hung up the telephone. I then called the store, and after asking to speak with a supervisor, I was transferred to the female call-taker, Asia. The next day, I called the store number, 317-218-2606, not the store's corporate number, 866-787-7930, and spoke with another female by the name of Tatyana (she also would not provide her last name). After requesting Tatyana, to let me speak with a supervisor or manager, Tatyana, tried to intercept, and ask what was my problem. After explaining the conversation I had with Asia, Tatyana, said the only person I could speak with was Asia. I hung up the phone. I then called back, and spoke with a Jada Driver, who said she was a supervisor, and that she could do nothing to help, but transfer me back to Asia. Jada Driver did take my name and number and said she would have the store manager call me. After almost two weeks, the only calls I get are from Asia, who continually leaves messages saying she has not received my pictures. All of these girls were young, and it is obvious, this is how they are trained. I then called another Ashley HomeStore corporate office, and spoke with two women in Consumer Afairs, explaining my situation. Both times I called this corporate office, it was explained that they would have a manager from the Ashley Store in Indianapolis, where I made my purchase, call me. The only phone calls I received was from Asia. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone in authority at this store. I paid a lot of money for the furniture and for the warrantees, but Ashley HomeStore in Indianapolis Indiana, and apparently Chad Spencer and Jim Spencer encourage this practice with their employees and are only be intrested in collecting your money and not in customer service or in honoring their contract. I just moved from California to Indiana, where I need to furnish a 2600 sq ft home, sadly, the only furniture I will purchase from Ashley HomeStore. My resolution to his would be for Ashley HomeStore, honor their contract with me, and repair my furniture or return the warrantee money I paid.
