My family and I went into the Ashley store in Cedar Falls today to buy a new sectional. We were greeted by a worker named Joy. We had every intention of just ordering online but wanted to get a feel for the sectional in person. When we finally picked out our furniture, we proceeded to start the purchasing process because Joy told us that we could do it that way. We have never experienced such terrible customer service. Joy informed us that the delivery change was $200.00 which we just wanted to have it dropped off for free as the website stated. She refused and argued with us about the whole process. She was rude and unfriendly. We left the store and ordered it online instead. Great selection, terrible in person customer service.

I am not usually one to review services of any company. However, today’s interaction with our sales person Joy, Was above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in furniture shopping! She was very pleasant as she greeted us as we entered the store. She presented a few questions without the typical sales person pitch. When we answered the questions, she took us immediately to the area of this rather large store. Showed us the recliners and sofas we’d mentioned. She then gave us very detailed product information and showed us to the fabric selections and explained the customization process. We look for a while and told her we had a few other places to shop. She said no problem and we took her card. We went to shop a few other places, but quickly decided that this was the best match for what our needs were And went back to Ashley To make a purchase. The overall transaction was smooth and seamless from beginning to end. we weren’t felt rushed or obligated to purchase anything but encouraged to take our time to make the right decision. Joy is an ABSOLUTE Asset to her team and the company, ASHLEY furniture. Honestly, one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re in that area of Cedar Falls, Iowa and are in need of furnishings, don’t bother with any other companies. Just go straight in and ask for Joy Winfield. You’ll not be disappointed with her professionalism and great customer service!!!!

After several stops on our hunt for the perfect mattress, we were sold—not just on the mattress itself, but on Sara’s M. Sleep Specialist incredible expertise! The quality of the product and delivery were excellent. In particular, Ben was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When I had a question for him, he wrote a near 300-word essay describing the pros/cons of the financial choice. Absolute legend.

Guys... we really don't have much else this good in the area. Just go here. They have a huge selection with so many different products. There's tons of financing options and decent prices. Was watching a sectional they had online for a while, and finally decided to just go there and check it out. The staff are very friendly. I got to work with Ben, who was very helpful, silly and caring. Despite him getting pulled every which way (which he handled like an absolute champ) he still gave me lots of information and advice, as well as provided amazing customer service. Very excited for my sectional to come in!

We were shopping around for a while for a new bed. Decided to stop in at Ashley in cedar falls, Iowa. We were greeted and helped by the salesman: Fred P. He was very accommodating and helpful. Even though we had our toddler with us. My husband and I both had misconceptions about bed types and what would suit us and what would not. And what would last longer than the other options. Fred was more than knowledgeable. He was the best salesman I had ever come across in this industry. He answered our questions clarified. Misconceptions even gave my toddler a toy. About a month after we bought the bed we discovered that the adjustable base was broken or was missing a piece. I just got back from the store today and Fred said don't worry about it. We'll take care of you. I'm excited to get a new working base in a week or so. If you ever go into the store, ask for Fred. He's the man to talk to.. Even with my husband standing right there I told Fred I loved him. Lol.

The Ashley Furniture Store in Cedar Falls is jam pack with beautiful furnishings for your entire home. The super friendly staff answered all our questions. We were very impressed with Chris who is new to sales. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Bri was very helpful in the purchase of a sofa. She helped us find the best deal and explained the process of purchase and pickup very well. However, we were very disappointed with the way we were treated by the manager, Maryanne, when asked about price matching since their website states they price match at other qualified furniture stores. She refused to answer our question and stated they only price matched to any “local” furniture store, which was a discrepancy between the Ashley website. Thankful for Bri that she was able to make this sale for us!

Great place to find furniture! They have the biggest showroom in town with a wide variety. Once we found what we were looking for they had the best inventory and delivery of anywhere we shopped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices may not be the absolute lowest, but the difference is negligible. We'll definitely be returning for any future furniture needs!

He got down on his hands and knees to show us the construction of the furniture. He is a great communicator and ensured that we had all the information we needed. Omg!!! We came in the store tonight just to see how a purple mattress foils.. but, we ended up buying a 1399.00 bed but, we didn’t feel pressure at all? But Fred Perry man was so professional and nice and we learned a lot about beds… also we kinda didn’t know between 3 beds and he never tried to sale us something we didn’t felt good laying on it my husband liked one I liked another but, he found something we both liked and felt conferable on it and explained the why?? Lori T is the bomb! Her knowledge and patience is unparalleled. It took her hours to help me find what I believed I wanted. After getting it home and realizing it overwhelmed my small living room, she helped me trade it in on something that works much better. I tell everyone I know to look her up when they need furniture. I also spent quite some time with Sara in the sleep dept. Her knowledge and enthusiasm had me from the start. She is a pleasure to work with and I ended up buying a top of the line bed. I’m so happy with my purchase. I have referred a good friend to her. I’m sure he will have the same Great experience I did.

I had the absolute worst experience with customer service and customer satisfaction at this store. We spent over $3500 on new living room furniture, kitchen table/chairs and bar stools and NOTHING in our order was right besides our end tables. We were told 2-3 weeks for delivery at most, almost 8 weeks later we had our items. Our kitchen table came scratched, our sales rep ordered the wrong bar stools, even though we told her 3 times the size we needed. Had to reorder those and again were told 2 weeks and we are going on week 4. We based all of our decorations around the color of the couch and sofa we ordered and it was a completely different color... even a different sales person agreed. We were told that our lighting was different and there was nothing we could do about it but refund our delivery fee.... we DIDN'T even have it delivered. We eventually are able to get our money back, but now we will not have living room furniture or bar stools because we got rid of them when we were told our furniture was in. I will never go back to Ashley or refer anyone to them.

Kane was absolutely wonderful! He greeted us with personality but gave us space when we went looking. He came and checked in every so often to answer any questions we came up with and even gave his opinion on our space and what would work best. He did not care we changed our minds acouple times and happily put the paperwork together and crunched the numbers each time we asked. Let me start off by giving the biggest kudos to Fred P., sleep specialist, and Serena C., floor specialist, from the Cedar Falls location. They were so wonderful during this entire process. I started off with Fred the sleep specialist. He was so knowledgeable about mattresses. You’d think I’d know more since I’ve been sleeping on one all my life, but nope. Once you go to him, you’ll quickly find out how much you didn’t know and how much of a better sleep you could be having. He was a pleasure to work with and helped me and my son pick our new mattress at the best price point for us. Thanks, Fred! **P.S. I suggest buying the mattress covers also because they work great!** My pup wanted to mark her territory on my son’s bed, and that mattress cover did not let a drop go through. I washed it, and it’s as good as new. I’m so glad we got them. Serena the floor specialist. She was so great. So patient and understanding with us the entire process. She answered any questions we had and brought us all over the store to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. She made sure all our deliveries would be scheduled for the same date including the mattresses. She even made sure my special order would be ready for that delivery date also. I just appreciate when a team member goes above and beyond like that! We even went back to add another item to the list, and she was just wonderful every single time. When we go back, we will definitely be asking for her again. (Thanks, Serena.) Lastly, the delivery team, Aaron and Tristan, were extremely efficient and so kind. They brought everything in on time and built everything so fast. I’m so thankful for such a WONDERFUL experience and customer service from start to finish. I came to this store and did not receive any assistance. I was not acknowledged and no one helped me. I around the store for at least an hour with no assistance. No greeting or anything. This was disappointing since I prefer to purchase Ashley furniture pieces. I have been to and purchased in TN & FL but when I move back to my home state of IA I received no help from anyone in the entire store. It was not a busy day and only 2 of the employees were working, one (a black woman) with a customer and the other gentleman bringing items from the warehouse (back), definitely not a sales person. It sucks because I need a house full of furniture since I didn't want to move old stuff to my new home. Guess I will look/spend my money where I am acknowledged.
