Troy was extremely helpful when it came time for me to upgrade from a queen to a king mattress! The price was amazing for the quality. Also picked out a beautiful headboard to go with and cannot wait for them to arrive in a few days! 10/10 recommend.

I have bought beds, sofas, tables and chairs from Ashley's over the years. Duane and everyone there is great to deal with.

Sold hazardous couch and refuses to give store credit like they said they would.

This company will rip you off! Almost cause a house fire with there fancy power recliners/sofa and blame you. Even with there $$$ Guardian protection plan. Now we are out $1300 on a stupid sofa.

Bought a couch last year with them. First it was 2 months late being delivered, then within 4 months the headrest broke and back in june the couch almost caught fire due to the electronics. I bought the top warranty package but guess what they wont cover it or do anything about replacing it. I had to send in all this documents and pictures and they still said it wasnt enough. The couch smelled so bad of burnt chemicals and whatever else it was that we couldnt keep it in the house because it just kept stinking up the house more even if you tried to cover it up. We had to go buy a whole new couch just so we had something to sit on because they dont do anything in a timely matter. Then Ashleys sent me to there other company they use for problems and they still did nothing for me. What a horrible company, I will never do business with Ashleys furniture again now and we were even going to go buy a nice expensive bed from them with a few other items but not anymore cause this is getting old how they wont help and they just screw you over. Thanks for being horrible Ashley's furniture. Others will get my business now and i upgrade something every year or two.

He informed me on the best way to handle a discount to optimize my savings. He also set up my pickup to a different location that was best for me. While looking at couches he told me different things to consider (fitting it through the door, storage, etc). I feel comfortable buying my first couch from Jeremy because I am confident he will help me along the way.

What a great experience working with Jeremy M. today! Normally my husband is Not very big on shopping for furniture so working with Jeremy was key to us getting a whole living room set and 4 stools to sit at our island! I previously bought a couple couches from here and now that the wife and I are moving we decided to pull the trigger on another. We ended up talking to the same guy, Troy, that we did the time before. Laid back and truly wants to get you the best deal. He was great at communicating through text when we had a couple questions after we left the day before and even went above and beyond for us in a way as well. Larry was also very helpful. He answered multiple questions for us at times that Troy was tied up. They only had one lamp in stock that we wanted, and we really wanted the pair. Larry found that lamp on a competitor's website and came and shown it to us to make sure we could get the lamps we really wanted... that's pretty impressive and another reason we'll be coming back. In no way did they ask me to leave a review, but great customer service deserves to be recognized beyond just word of mouth. THANKS GUYS!

If you are looking for furniture this is the place to go! I recently bought a house so I need almost all new furniture. I worked with Larry McGovern Jr, if you go ask for him he is AMAZING!!!! Larry let me go through the process of determining what I might want and he was right there to answer questions or ask me questions about my new home. What I loved is that he asked about me and my family and got to know us which also helped to find the right things. When some of the pieces didn’t end up working he was right there to help me find something that would. He got all the specs from the furniture that didn’t work so we didn’t select things that were too big again. He stood there with a tape measure and helped me measure new pieces. He took care of not only getting me something that would work but something we LOVED! I have more shopping to do and when I’m ready I know I will go to Ashley and work with Larry again! Great service in the store sold me on a couch. No issues seemed like a perfect couch in store. A week later get it home two days cushion sinked all the way to the baseboards of the couch. Call the customer service number. Was told someone will come out two weeks later someone comes out says that they’ll have someone come out to replace my cushions 2 to 6 weeks and will send me ottoman legs that we never got with our ottoman. Never got in mail either. Going into July and they don’t even have the parts in and they have an attitude with me on the phone cuz I’m trying to figure out where my couch parts are . 2,500Spend money on such cheap put together furniture. I’d rather go to La-Z-Boy and spend 5,000 on good quality than go back to Ashley’s. I even explained to the sale man why we went Ashley’s as our last couch we got from Furniture Row was also put together terribly and broke after a week.

I’m building a video production studio, and have been on the hunt for furniture for our different sets, so I decided to pop in to Ashley while I was in the area. When I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by Mark who I told I was going to wander aimlessly. He gave me a quick rundown of how the store is laid out, and let me browse in peace. I ordered a living room set (loveseat, sofa, and recliner) from Mike Ritchart at Ashely's. He was great at answering all my questions on the type material the set was made of and helping me find exactly what I wanted. He explained the shipping details and what to expect during delivery, what was and wasn't covered with the warranty, and gave all the financing options. Ultimately, I paid in full and the living set was delivered a month later. The delivery people were careful and respectful of my home. I highly recommend going to Ashley's and requesting to work with sales rep Mike Ritchart.

First, I'd like to preface this in saying everyone at the store level was 5 stars. Jeremy was our sales person and knocked it out of the park through this entire ridiculous process. We ordered a couch, love seat, recliner, table and chairs, and a TV stand. Everything came in on time, and all but 3 chairs were grease stained and damaged. The delivery drivers stated they told the warehouse about the dirty truck and were told to use more blankets. Then, he proceeded to tell me that the warehouse will take it back, clean it, and send it out as new to someone else. Then added...they also do this with mattresses. Quote" if you sleep on it a few nights and return it, they'll just bag it up and send it back out." Fast forward. I received a call telling me they would come clean all the furniture and try to fix what was done. Give me 10% off and VOID MY WARRANTY! at the point the store manager took over the return and scheduled a full exchange. I asked that our new furniture remain in the factory plastic considering the "white glove" service we paid for clearly was a waste, and i didn't want used furniture . It arrived today. Was left on our wet garage floor. It took nearly an hour for the delivery people to take the old furniture out. They put 0 effort into protecting our carpets and kept the door open the entire time on this 25 degree day. When I asked if they'd at least help being it in, they contacted their "boss" who said they won't do that. I proceeded to unwrap and move it in myself, then started assembling all of the pieces . I asked if they would at the least take a little of the plastic or cardboard with them since my garage is now full of trash from the furniture. They said yes. Then left quietly and didn't take anything with them. I'd like to add these movers (different from the first) confirmed with very little effort on my part that the warehouse does in fact, do everything the first movers said they do. I won't be doing business with Ashley again. My suggestion is save the headache and go ANYWHERE else. Unless you're in the business of being punished for the mistakes the warehouse makes..then by all means keep on shopping.

Great store with great service and prices, bought furniture for 3 rooms in our house.

Ordered a TV stand. The TV sand was damaged at the warehouse. We agreed to replace is with a TV stand the was identical to the one that was broken. They tried to pull a fast one on us and tried to give us the one they broke but glued on the leg.. when delivery came the guys told us it broke AGAIN. So we went in complained. We found one we liked ashleys gave it to us for the price of the broken one with free delivery. Welp it happened AGAIN! They broke the new one in transit once again.. 3 TV stands broken and this all started in December 2023... 2 months later still no TV stand... poor shipping and handling services. -1 start.

Went to Ashely shopping for our new house and was instantly greeted with a friendly smile from Troy. He helped us find and pick out a couch that best suited our needs and it will look amazing in our new house!! Big thanks to Troy and Ashley Furniture for making our house a home.

Went to this store looking to buy a couch and a rocking chair. Walking in, I was not bombarded by a salesperson but greeted nicely. Got to look around before a salesman (Jeremy McNeely) greeted us and let us look around. He did not breathe down our necks the entire time, trying to upsell us on something we didn't need. We found a set we liked, and he pointed us to a few sets that were better at the same price range of the first set. Finally, we decided on a set that looked good and was in the price range. Diana & Michelle saved the day at Ashley furniture! My MIL had a total hip replacement and her current recliner rocked. After several very painful days of helping her get in and out of her recliner we decided she desperately needed a stationary lift chair that fully reclined. Diana understood our crisis well and tried to help us pick out the best option they had in stock. Unfortunately my MIL was not well enough to try them out and the one we took home was too tall for her and her feet didn't touch. A few days later Michelle could not have been more kind about exchanging for a smaller lift chair. She's settled in now and one step closer to her independence and a successful recovery. Thank you kindly for your compassion and help.

My husband and I went into the Ashley store on the sw side of Cedar Rapids today looking for a new couch! We came out with a new sectional, an outtaman, and an outdoor lawn chair! I am not one to ever complain about a business, I completely understand mistakes happen, but Homemakers Desmoines, absolutely horrible customer service, endless lies, waiting for calls from the company, etc. I would give them a negative star rating if I could.

We have been working with Mark at Ashley in Cedar Rapids. We purchased quite a bit of furniture from Ashley when we moved here and most recently bought a bunk bed a week ago. Upon delivery but after they left we noticed permanent visible stickers on 2 of the bed frames which prove difficult to remove. After calling AF we are Expecting technician 2/28 to remove these from bed frame. Mark has been helpful so far in getting this arranged. Will keep you posted.

Out of the multiple furniture stores in cedar rapids, I had my best sales experience here. I came in knowing the kind of styles I was looking for and Mark N. This was our first time ever buying brand new furniture. My husband and I came in not knowing what to expect. I felt very overwhelmed-I never knew there were so many options, configurations, colors, fabrics, styles, etc. Jeremy greeted us, was very friendly but not pushy at all and let us look around and do our thing. He checked in on us every once in a while to see if we had questions. We left with a couple of couches in mind and went home to take the time to think about it. We came back as soon as they opened the next day and asked for Jeremy again. He answered our questions and again was very knowledgeable of everything, making us feel comfortable in making our decision. We pulled the trigger and ordered a couch that we are very excited about. We could not have had a better experience and will definitely come back again.

Horrible customer service, very rude sales people. Black girl sat at the desk and looked like a deer in headlights when asked a question. The older man took forever to show mattress, had me walk around the entire store only to be told it wasnt in stock. Doesnt deserve one star, I wouldnt buy a light bulb at this place, so pathetic.

My son needed a sofa with a chase, found what we needed at a good price, he wanted me to go to slumber land and furniture row where he had found what he liked, I suggested we go to Ashley's with their high end and affordable end furniture, Mike helped us out and directed us to exactly what he wanted, he bought it was delivered with in a week

Worked with Larry on a living room couch and love seat ended up getting the party time set as well a set of end tables and coffee table experience was great Larry was helpful and not pushy at all answered any all questions I needed 5 stars for Larry 😎 the delivery went also the guys who brought it were nice put it where i wanted they were running late but they called and let me know also the link that is provided to track it is awesome the only downside was the coffee table was broke… the delivery guys took pictures of it and said that customer service would reach out and send a new one out

Mark N. was such a great salesman. I came in the day before purchasing to look at a couple of couches and get a sense of their comfort and what payment options were available. He walked me through it all and printed out the prices for me to take home and discuss with my family. He wasn’t pushy as all and just wanted me to make the best decision for myself. I went back in the next day and to purchase and he was able to get us all checked out quickly. He was a great guy to work with! He showed me a few more accessories so I will be back soon to get those from him! Great experience and the couches were very reasonable and will look great in our home.

Went in looking for an entertainment stand for my new 70 inch TV with a fireplace. The store only had smaller ones that had the fireplace, in the store, but Jeremy McNeely took the time to show me that one they had on the floor could come with an insert that would be big enough for my TV. Spent nearly $4k on mattresses and had a decent experience with the sales rep. The experience with the delivery crew was unacceptable. They were unprofessional, rude, filthy and refused to attach our headboard which the sales rep promised they would do. Zero stars would be more applicable.

Worst experience I have ever had with any furniture store. Sales messed up my order multiple times. I was misinformed and lied to multiple times about my deliver date. Every time I call I have to wait on hold for 20-30 minutes. The delivery people refused to assemble my furniture and bring it in my home (after waiting 4 months for this all as well). I want a full refund and the furniture out so it isn’t blocking my home & road. I cannot assemble any of this because I just had rotator cuff surgery. But they don’t care. Absolute disrespect and rudeness are the only words to describe all my experiences with this company. Never again. I can’t even believe how awful this has all been. Slumberland people are very kind, the delivery men aren’t rude (like Ashley), they make sure all your needs are met, etc. Will be going back to them from here on out! Editing my review to add this because I don’t see an option to reply. The assistant manager and salesperson were very diligent in following up on the matter with me the following day. However, customer care was absolutely terrible. I spent almost a almost total of 2 hours on hold and then they hung up on me. Afterwards when I called back they told me they wouldn’t do anything for me. I then found out that the people at the store were having the same issues as well, calling customer care on my behalf. Fix your customer care Ashley! My apologies were said to the staff at the store (AM & Sales that helped me). I appreciated their help, but there is no excuse for the customer care employees! The process needs reviewed.

Larry McGovern is the person you want to work with at Ashley Home Store. He is knowledgeable, friendly, organized, and customer service driven. I worked with him (long distance) from California moving my son into an apartment. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and he got the job done.

Not too friendly at all

I tried giving Ashley’s another go after we bought an item that was poor quality and it did not hold up. Our recent item never held up either. Came to conclusion the furniture here is poor quality. Bought a sectional and the cushions was basically smashed down to the point it hurt to sit on it. This happened within a week or two of owning it. Called customer care and they replaced them but it took couple months to even receive one cushion out of 2. So they had to put another order in for them, which took another month or two. Even the new cushions completely smashed down within another week. I tried to give Ashley’s another try, but I will not buy from them again. When I pay thousands of dollars, I expect good quality.

For our 20th wedding anniversary we decided to buy ourselves new recliners. Walked in your lovely store and Jennifer Stevens asked us if we needed help. We showed her a picture of the recliner we were looking for. She walked us right to it checked on the availability and bam our shopping was done. What an amazing salesperson and so friendly and knowledgeable. Best furniture shopping I have ever experienced!!!

We got a couch a love seat 2 end tables and a center coffee table. Paid several thousand dollars for them. Well within 6 months they started breaking. We asked them for warranty and repairs and here it is over a year from the first call and we still have broken furniture. They came out one time inspected the furniture said they ordered parts but never heard from them since. Called multiple times and nothing. Sent emails and nothing. This is overpriced garbage that I'm paying for. I would never recommend using Ashley's.

We purchased a table and chairs, two end tables and a server from here back in January. When shopping everyone was very helpful at the time. We were told that we would have our end tables in March and everything else would be here in June. When March came around we did not hear from anyone so we reached out. At that time he informed us that all of our stuff would now be in early May except for a couple chairs that would be at the end of May. When the middle of May rolled around and we did not hear back we reached out. He then told us (after we got rid of our old kitchen table due to a lack of communication) that it wouldn’t be in until June. We understand that these things happen and that’s fine but what’s not okay is the LACK of communication. A simple phone call would have been helpful with updates. We bought a couch, recliner, bed and bed frame from the Coralville store and they made sure to contact us with updates to keep us informed. Cedar Rapids Store was able to find us a table that we got and when we received it there were no instructions. Thankfully we were able to access them online. We did reach out to the manager and talked to him and he did make things right and was very apologetic, however the fact that we had to deal with it in the first place is not okay.

My sales lady Jen went above and beyond to find me a lift chair that would fit me- to no avail, but no fault of hers they were in the back of the store. Upon ready to leave she grabbed an accesory cart to get me to the front of the store. Even though there was no sale, she was amazing! Thank you!

My wife and I purchased 2 bedroom sets for our new home. Somehow in the process some paperwork got messed up and our financing was incorrect. Troy our salesman was extremely helpful on getting everything sorted out and getting the financing fixed. Customer service was 10 out of 10. Troy and Stephanie (the finance lady) always answered any questions we had thru the process.

We've purchased several pieces of furniture here the past 3 years and have been satisfied with each buying experience. We like the variety of styles and prices the store offers so it was easy to find something I wanted each time I was looking for something. We've been working with Duane and would highly recommend him. He listens to your "wants", has never tried to oversell or be pushy and was honest with me when I needed him to be. Buying furniture during this time frame could have been a nightmare due to the pandemic and derecho but it never became an issue due to the honesty upfront about availability and the time frames that might occur. We will be shopping for more furniture once our storm repairs are completed and this store will definitely be our "go to" place. Also, an added bonus and one I would like to emphasize is the huge selection of decor throughout the store. That, too, will be some of my future purchases. The downside is that the decor isn't included in their sales, but the upside is that the pieces are reasonably prized if you do any comparison shopping. This Cedar Rapids store has earned a 5-star rating from us.

I was able to purchase furniture that I love at Ashley Furniture! We just recently bought our first home and this was our first time buying new furniture. Diana (I apologize I can't remember if it was Diane or Diana) was a great help and showed us several options based on what we were looking for. We never felt pressured to buy or pressure to get the biggest most expensive option. We ended up with a sectional and coffee table that we love and Diana made the process quick and easy. Furniture shopping can be overwhelming, but this was a breeze! I also like that they have a good protection program for the furniture that really isn't all that expensive, and if we don't use it we get store credit which is a great deal we don't lose out on our money. Great experience overall, I will definitely be shopping here again.

Reasonably priced, large selection, friendly service.

We could not be happier with the customer service we received at the Cedar Rapids Ashley Furniture Homestore! We were greeted by Jen and allowed to look on our own without a high pressure sales pitch. When we did have questions she was right there with all of the information we needed! Incredibly happy with the service and knowledge!

We have bought furniture twice now from Ashley - specifically working with Mike Ritchart. He remembered us from a few years ago when we bought our first set. Such a nice guy and really knows how to take care of his customers! We will definitely be back when we need more furniture!

I personally do not shop here I stopped in to see what they had. Although I did sub-contract for this place, I've seen some really nice furniture, and also seen some really bad/cheaply made furniture. It all depends on the dollar bill "the more you spend, the better the quality of furniture you will get"

I thought there was something wrong with me 2 years ago being a grown man and not knowing what the hell I needed to buy for a bed. . Full. .King. .Queen. . Anyone's guess..but as soon as I went in I felt comfortable (as soon as the other people left) lol I ended up with a queen medium firm pillow top and raised storage frame. .it's the best bed I ever had and I'm so happy I randomly chose this store. .thank you for the great service!

Great service/great selection

Bought our furniture about 6 months ago and it’s September and still missing two pieces of it. Was told when we bought it, the couch and chair would be available in the month of March, then April, then May, then June, then July, now September. It’s September and no one has called us about our paid furniture. When we called in July, they just kept saying it’s a popular set, I’m sorry! We asked if we can just return the love seat and get a different set that was available when we called in July, but was told we couldn’t Bec we used it already. Well yes, we used it. We thought we would have the rest before summer. Please give us our paid furniture, I think 6 months has been plenty.

My husband and I walked in looking for a specific couch. We couldn't find it and no one approached us to ask if we needed help. I went to the front counter and an employee walked passed me, almost running into me as if I wasn't there, didn't smile or so hi, or ask if I needed help. I walked away and came back 5 minutes later and that same woman was sitting at the desk. Completely ignoring me. No one seemed to want to help us. So we decided to leave. We won't be going back.

It would have been nice furniture if they had delivered all the pieces. I called and asked for the missing pieces the same day that the set was delivered, two days later they delivered the wrong pieces again. Throughout the process I spent multiple hours on the phone with different representatives telling me they couldn’t help me with my problem and only the first representative could help me but she was t at work and they couldn’t tell me when she works and she was supposed to call me back with answers but she didn’t. One of the representatives was confused that I was missing pieces because it’s supposed to come in a box, but it didn’t- I’m pretty sure they gave me a used bed! It was such a pain and I never even got the missing pieces so I gave up and asked where I could return the entire bedroom set, as they couldn’t figure out how to give me all the pieces that I paid for and I don’t want a bed that doesn’t match the rest of the bedroom furniture, she said I couldn’t return it yet because they didn’t have space for it at the store and if I dropped it off anyway they wouldn’t refund me my money if it was damaged from being outside their store. I just wanted a complete bed! I don’t think that’s an unreasonable ask but they acted like I was the jerk the entire time. I went to Slumberland for a new bedroom set to replace this one afterwards and the service was a million times better for every step of the process.

Mark Neuhaus has helped us furnish our basement family room, select mattresses for our girls and now furniture for our upstairs living room. He is always a pleasure to work with! Friendly, thorough and helpful in every way! Ashley Furniture is always our go to when looking for furnishings for our home. The selection is amazing and the employees are the best!

My girlfriend and I bought a whole new bedroom set. The saleswoman who helped us was amazing and very nice. However, two days of use the bed frame broke. All it needed was a new bolt and nut. They told us a month before they could get a tech out to look at it. We decided no point we need to be able to sleep on it. Then last night after having it for a month more was needed. Broke on us again. Poor building materials. Poor customer service. Poor assembly. And more work for us to keep the bed together and with the price of it is very unfortunate.

We worked with Jennifer Stevens to find the perfect mattress and she was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable about all the mattresses. I walked in and told her exactly what I wanted and she did a great job making sure that the mattresses I tested were exactly what I was looking for. I would have been in that store for 2 hours trying to figure it out, but she helped me narrow it down in no time, stay within my budget, and we were in and out of there very efficiently. She was so much fun to work!! Highly recommend Jen!!

Very affordable but I'm starting to think they are hoping you forgot you bought something from them.. I bought a couch back in January and was told it would be delivered in mid-March. When the end of March rolled around with no word, I called Ashley to ask about when my couch would be delivered. This is when they told me that my couch was not in yet and wouldn't be in until May. When I expressed my frustration they told me there was "nothing they could do". At the end of April I called again to check on the status of my couch and miraculously it was in. Now I'm wondering why no one called me to tell me it was in. When I asked, the woman on the phone told me that she has nothing to do with calling customers so when I asked who does, she told me that she doesn't know. It is amazing to me how nobody at this store is accountable for anything. Why is it that the communication is so poor that no one calls to tell you your item will be late or that it has arrived at their facility????? On top of all that, even though my couch is "in" it can't be delivered for another two weeks. You would think that after waiting 5 months to receive my couch, they would expedite the delivery. Do better, Ashley.

I bought a bed from Ashley's and love it. I just bought a couch from them and my next purchase will be a dresser. I love their furniture and you can even pay on it until it's paid off after which they will deliver it.

Although staff is very friendly, the wait to receive your furniture is simply not worth it. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! We were told we would receive our couch Feb 10 latest (after ordering it on Nov 22). Since then, it has been pushed back to March 1st, then March 8th, then March 24th, and now April 8th! Throughout this entire time, we didn't receive a minimal apology until March 8th, and we only received a $50 refund for the $2500 we spent on the couch. After all of this, we STILL do not have our couch. We have supposedly been 1st on the waiting list since February, but the amount of time it has taken to make one couch is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. We will never purchase from this store again.

I had a delightful experience working with sales person Duane! Not all the furniture would fit in my home and the delivery people took it back during delivery. My husband was not happy with the recliner as he had trouble getting out of it. When I arrived at the store Duane was very attentive to my needs of an exchange. Very happy with the service and furniture I received.

I think I was the only customer in store this afternoon and not once did anyone ask if I needed help finding anything.

Spent quite a bit on a couch and loveseat and told it would be in within a month. Our house went through allot with the derecho and we needed new furniture. Month came and went. I called requesting an update and told another week or two and that they would get with our sales REP Jeremy (CR,IA) and get back to us. No call back. Week later I called requesting another update and told another week or two and that Jeremy would call me back. No call back. Called again a week later and talked to a woman sales rep that said she had to get with the buyer because the info she was seeing isn't what Jeremy told her and that she would call me back. Not sure what that meant. Another no call. We will more than likely go in for a refund which is too bad cause we really liked what we bought. Ashley is more into making the sale than keeping and retaining costumers.

Awesome got me a better deal than online

spent around $5k here and the furniture is really not holding up at all. I have witnessed at least 2 other people who have similar experiences.

I recently purchased a mattress from the store on SW side of Cedar Rapids. I thought the mattress was nice in the store and bought it for $650 thinking it would last me at least 5 years. As soon as i set it up and started sleeping on it, it makes this god aweful noise when i lay down. It didnt do that when i tried it out in the store. I called soon after and they cant do anything for me because i didnt buy a mattress protector? Seriously ive had it less than 2 weeks! I would of purchased online if i knew that. Most bed companies honor their workmanship and let you try it out for at least 3 months. Very unhappy!! UPDATE: *******I think the lady name is Lacy who called me and helped me find a different bed in their store. She was very kind and so was the lady who helped me find in store. Thank you so much for helping me out. I would recommend this store to anyone because they DO stand behind their furniture! Again thank you for helping me find a great bed and keeping me as a customer. THANK YOU. I am grateful.
