Great selection and easy shopping. It was a bit of a drive for me but worth it with the variety of selection. Everyone was helpful (I worked with Michael, Michelle, and Fred over a couple visits) and all were very informative and helpful.

Jason was fantastic. A friendly face as we walked in the door and after a brief chat about what we were looking for he directed us to a few spots in the store to check out and let us be. Being a salesperson is difficult as you have to gauge each guest and how they want to be interacted with. He periodically stopped by and offered some product insight depending on what collection we were looking at. Once we found the pieces we liked, he helped navigate the difference in textile choice and reasons for one over the other. He was extremely knowledgeable and truthful. I didn’t share that I deal with commercial fabric and furniture for my job and everything he said regarding fabric and different applications was truthful and tailored to what we were looking for. There was no pressure to upcharge to a different fabric grade or furniture set. Overall he was an exceptional and pleasant person to work with on this purchase. Absolutely worst experience ever went in there found furniture that I absolutely loved went to go pay for it. As told one price ended up paying a delivery fee that was free extra $200, and then I wasn't offered a protection plan, which was included. I was told to initial where I decline which I was never offered!!!! I proceeded to cancel my order. Now I've already paid for my furniture and now they get to hang on to my money for 3 to 5 business days. I'm out my money. Don't have furniture love. Talk to the store manager. Who Disregard me like I was nobody made me feel like I was in the wrong. I will never shop at Ashley's again. Here's my experience. Please check to make sure you're not being overcharged. And make sure you're being offered a protection plan.

I went to Ashley a few weeks ago in hopes of finding a new bed & mattress - it's just time for a change & update to my bedroom. While I was there, Mike was extremely helpful & kind! He showed me a few different beds that were on display in the store & helped me find the Isanti bed (it's very polished & beautiful). Next, I went over to the mattress section of the store where Zeek asked me a few questions about what I prefer in a mattress - & I really wasn't sure, as it's been a very long time since I've even looked at new mattresses. Although I was unsure of what I was looking for, Zeek directed me to the perfect mattress! He showed a couple of other options, but the first one he recommended was the best! I took some time to really think about if the bed that Mike helped me find, as well as the mattress that Zeek helped me find, was the right one for me to purchase. After doing some research online & looking at other options, I realized that I would regret not buying those 2 because I kept thinking about them - they were just so perfect & exactly what I was looking for. So, I finally decided to purchase them. I went in again on 10/21/2025 to purchase the bed & mattress. As I walked in the store, Will introduced himself & asked if he could be of any help. I let him know that Mike & Zeek had helped me find the perfect bed & mattress that I wanted to purchase. Mike happened to not be working that day, but Will was excellent (& so kind) in helping me with what I needed! He walked me over to the mattress area to connect with Zeek about my mattress purchase. While I was there I mentioned to Zeek that I would also like to get 1 or 2 good pillows (if I'm buying a new mattress, I may as well get some good pillows to go with it!). He was able to help me find 2 very nice pillows that were perfect for me! Once Zeek was finished helping me with that purchase, Will helped me with purchasing the Isanti bed that I wanted. They both also helped me get everything for scheduled for delivery - so convenient! I had such a great experience at Ashley, especially when going in to finally purchase my new bed & mattress. I can't thank Will, Zeek, & Mike enough for all of their help! I am so grateful for each of them!! I guarantee that if I need any other furniture, for any room of my house, I'll definitely be coming back to Ashley! If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!!! 😊

We stopped at 4 different stores today trying to find the right bedframe for us. Most attendants were rather awkward for help. But when we came to Ashley's we were greeted immediately by a kind attendant and a man named Jason Nobel who was so friendly and helped us find what pieces were right for us. The first store showed us their most expensive items. And the rest ignored us. So we came back to Ashley's where we knew Jason would help us make our best choice. He even gave great advice on other things that could tie our choice of bedframe into our room even better. There are plenty more stores we could have tried but it was worth it to come back and get help from a knowledgeable kind person who clearly wants to help customers find their best choice, not just the highest sale.

We were helped by Jason today, he was attentive and personable but not a suffocating sales man. Made our shopping experience today a painless and enjoyable experience.

I placed an order on Sunday, August 3, 2025, and my initial experience was very positive. The salesman was pleasant, I explained that I had just moved to the area and needed furniture for a two-bedroom apartment, and I placed an order for a master bedroom set. The salesman processed the order which contained many different components and gave me a copy of the order. I left the store that day with a mattress and was happy to wait for the estimated delivery on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The furniture was delivered on Thursday, August 14, 2025, with good notice and a three-hour delivery window. The assembly team were great and built everything quite quickly, but I was informed that a box spring was missing. I was advised to contact either the store or customer care. This meant I had to continue sleeping on a mattress on the floor, despite having purchased a full bed nearly two weeks earlier. I made several calls to both customer care and the salesman who handled my purchase (August 14 and 15, 2025). Unfortunately, customer care was not helpful, and the salesman never returned my calls. On Saturday, August 16, 2025, I went to the store in person. The salesman admitted that he had made a mistake and only ordered one box spring instead of two. He then asked me to pay a discounted price for another box spring, even though the error was on their side. I refused and asked for a refund for the one box spring I had already received. He told me he would personally collect it and stay in touch in the next couple of days. I never heard back. On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, I returned the box spring to the store myself and received a refund. Overall, my experience started off very well but quickly turned disappointing. The lack of accountability and poor customer service ruined what could have been a positive experience. As a result, I will not be returning to Ashley Home Store for the additional furniture I need for my apartment.

I scheduled my delivery date in-person with the sales person and delivery department. I even confirmed the date with both persons. On the day of delivery, nothing was delivered, no phone call or update from the company. My delivery date was changed without so much of a word to me for 1 week later. When I called, I was told I had the wrong date. So, spending thousands of dollars with this company doesn’t make you a valued customer. Their delivery department employees and manager lack integrity and professionalism. They rather call their customers liars than own their deceitful practices and that they forgot to schedule my delivery. If they valued their customer's hard earned money being spent at Ashley’s, at the bare minimum, they would have scheduled the delivery for the next day. DONT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU CAN PICKUP YOUR PURCHASE. Otherwise, you’ll be like me waiting 4 weeks for your furniture to arrive. If you decide to shop here, I highly recommend Sid. He was a pleasure to work with. He listened to my ideas and found me exactly what I wanted. His styling/decoration ideas were spot on. There was no pressure to buy and he provided a variety of high-medium-low end choices. Besides the above debacle, it was a good experience which I attribute to Sid. Thanks Sid!

Even though we live in the Quad Cities we drove to the Coralville Ashley location due to their extensive selection. When we called in advance we connected with Michael Pfrimmer and let him know what we were looking for. He was professional, friendly and directed us to the best options to consider. Once we arrived there was no pressure to buy, just support, guidance and the information we needed to make the best decision. He went above and beyond to ensure that we got the best price and made it such a pleasant experience, that we felt so comfortable with, that we will make the drive to Coralville again to work with Mike for our next purchase. Buying furniture can be overwhelming, but Mike made it easy. We can't recommend him enough if you're considering buying from Ashley Coralville!

Do yourself a favor, and do NOT purchase a couch from this place. After purchasing a sectional from this store (one of their “high-end” options, we were told and the price certainly implied as much), it ended up being wildly uncomfortable and broke down entirely within a year. Even worse, the couch’s legs have screws inside them that we realized break through the plastic “casing” and cause damage to your flooring. We were sent to another company to handle a claim for the flooring, but when Ashley sent us new legs for the couch, THE SCREWS WERE ALREADY BROKEN THROUGH the new legs. Because their furniture is just that poor quality. Honestly never regretted a furniture purchase as much as this one. $3,200 later. Will NEVER be working with these guys again. Unbelievable.

Called Ashley's today and was fortunate to be transferred to Zeek. Asked about what they had in store for mattresses that I could purchase, pick up today. When I arrived at the store a little while later he showed me what we spoke about. I ended up buying a queen and Cali king mattress. He was very knowledgeable and polite. When it came to loading the mattresses, the person who typically would have helped with that had gone home. He graciously helped me load my truck up AND I found my tie-down straps were not in my truck. He went and got his out of his truck and let me borrow them! If there is an employee of the year award- Zeek would have my vote! Great customer service and just an all around wonderful person! I will get those straps back to Zeek! Thank you! Bobbie

My experience with this Ashley was a nightmare. They attempted to deliver my furniture 4 seperate times and each time every piece was damaged. Furniture that was supposed to arrive in August turned into a 3 month process. I ended up accepting the damaged furniture just to end the endless loop. Find another store in the area for your furniture needs.

Writing this from the comfort of our new sofa, chosen with the expert help of Mike. After a peanut butter disaster with our old couch, it was time for something new and I didn't want to cheap out on something our family spends a majority of our time on. Went to Ashley because of recommendations from coworkers and am so grateful I listened to them. Lots of selection, and when Mike saw me struggling to keep my son (perpetrator of the aforementioned peanut butter crime) entertained while looking, he swooped in not only to help me find the best couch for our home, but also to answer any and all questions my son had (all of them Paw Patrol related). Mike got us set up with an awesome warranty, and while I did paperwork he showed my son how to tie a bow tie (three times in a row). Will definitely be back in the future.

We've been going to Ashley furniture for 5 years now and have always had a great experience there. All of the salespeople have been great to work with. Recently we worked with Michael to purchase some patio furniture, and he was one of the best salesmen (in any industry) I've ever worked with. Not only was he extremely helpful in us finding the right furniture- taking us throughout the store to look at everything, being mindful of our budget, and going the extra mile to find some patio chairs to complete our set- but even more than this, he was so kind and sweet with our 3 year old son. He even watched/ played with him so we could focus on finding furniture. Any parent of a toddler knows how stressful shopping in a non-kid friendly environment can be. But not only did we feel welcome with our children; it was a blessing having them there because Michael treated them like his own family while we were there. We will definitely be going back to Ashley in the future thanks to the warm and caring nature of salespeople like Michael!

I previously had brought furniture from Ashley back in December I met a guy named Manny he was so patient and very understanding and very informational and everything was scheduled perfectly. recently I went to Ashley Furniture and met Michael and Zeek They both were very patient and funny and understanding. I was told that my furniture was in back order, and it can be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks I told them that was too far back, so they said it can be ordered within two weeks, so I said OKAY. later on, a couple of days later I went back to talk to Zeek to put items off of my invoice because I felt that I didn't need some of the items. he seems a little moody. I was basically told that I was making a stupid decision, and I was not comfortable with that at all. Also I did not get my furniture within a month and a week or so. April 12- May 22

I had originally written a 5 star review, because the service in the store was great. But it has been nothing but issues since then. It took 8 weeks for our furniture to arrive, after we were estimated only 3-5 weeks. I would not be upset by this but there was zero communication from anyone that there was a delay. I would call and ask for updates and get told "a salesman will need to call you back. They will get back to you shortly." I wouldn't get a call back. Long story short, after I called the store three times, I think they forgot to order part of our order but didn't want to admit their mistake as they offered to ship us part of the order but were still going to make us pay for the entire order. Then, the delivery finally arrives, and they didn't include the remote to the fire place, after I had specifically asked the delivery guys about it. They said it was included in a wrapped package of all the shelves that went with the tv set. I immediately took this apart and the remote was not there. I called Ashley. They told me they would ship one from their warehouse and it would arrive in 3-5 days. It's been three weeks. Still hasn't arrived. Every time I call and ask where it is they say "it shipped yesterday it should be there soon." I recommend looking elsewhere for your furniture needs.

I am an overly large guy _ 6"5 and over 420lbs at the time of purchase due to medical issues. I walked in on two different days (2 diffetent associates that had no idea i was in previously) explained my back and nerve issues, what exactly I was looking for and most importantly a needed a recliner for a guy my size (I know there are plenty of options out there that I have seen online) and both associatea recommended the exact same recliner.. the redwood.. the one with the $1750 price tag each. We had just recently moved to the area and made a huge downsize in space. After talking it over with the wife, we went back the next day and purchased TWO of these chairs so they would match in our smaller place. Let me tell you, if you weigh anything over 175-200lbs, THIS CHAIR IS TRASH!! I had repair person out to our place to "fix" the exact same issue 4 times (one of those times they had it for over two weeks because he needed to work on it in the repair shop) I bet you cant guess what broke again?? 🤬😡 I will even add some photos to show this recliner was well taken care of and not abused to cause this issue.

Christy greeted me and answered my initial questions about what might be in stock. I explained what I was ideally looking for, as it has been challenging to find something we love that fits our space well. Christy was able to give several suggestions that fit my needs and showed me exactly what I was hoping to find! She took the time to show me all the unique features, such as the washable fabric, anti-slip feet, a console with a drawer, etc. and went above and beyond any expectations I could have had. I appreciated her helping brainstorm various layouts and check prices on individual pieces of the sectional to fit all our needs and budget. She was very knowledgeable about each piece she suggested and the delivery process. I had many questions and she answered them all thoroughly. Manny in the Coralville Ashley Store was great. We picked out a discounted loveseat and recliner set but couldn't get the couch that matched. He showed us a similar set on ths showroom floor that we liked better than what we originally picked out. It ended up the same price as the discounted set. It also has the new pet fabric that doesn't leave scratch marks. We love it and appreciate him showing us a nicer set without trying to push a much more expensive set on us. I can't express enough how amazing the people at the Coralville, IA store are with making me feel welcome and handling all of my needs. I especially want to thank Mechelle, Cristy and Zeke. Jason Nobel helped us find some fantastic furniture for our new house! Very knowledgeable on the construction and quality of all their items, showed us how they worked and even took the leaf out of a table so we could see it without. Always stopped by when he thought we had interest in an item and was very personable but it didnt feel like he was hovering. Left us alone to discuss amongst ourselves and walk around. Ended up buying three pieces of furniture and will definitely be back to buy more from him! Prices were comparable to elsewhere and quality was outstanding. If you stop in definitely ask for Jason!

Ashley Furniture in Coralville IA is a great place to furnish your house. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by Michelle. She inquired about our visit, what could she help us with. I had purchased the guardian protection plan on my couch and dining room chairs and have had a great experience with it. I have 3 kids so have used it a lot. After over 3 years they couldn’t get the stains out of the chairs so gave me a credit to use in store for anything they sell. Was easy to use and everyone was happy to help! Request Sid if you go!

She was patient, efficient and very helpful, professional in helping us with the best choices possible so we could pick what we needed for our space. Ashley carries Lazy Boy furniture. You'd never know it if you Google La-Z-Boy in Iowa City. You'd be directed to Cedar Rapids just like I was. But someone told me and so glad they did. Great selection, great space, super easy parking and best of all, Sales Consultant Mary Anne O. Well humored, knowledgeable, adult attention span, patient and keen observer. If she changes stores, I will follow.

What an amazing experience! Drove over from Des Moines and had the good fate of meeting Will A., a fellow North Iowan! I had called ahead and he had everything ready to show us based on what I was telling him we were looking for. He had completed all the homework and leg work and made our job so easy. I couldn't ask for a better experience while picking out a new reclining love seat by Laz-E-Boy at the Coralville store. My salesperson Mary Anne Ostrum was very knowledgeable on the product and took you to the area within the store with no problems what so ever. She also was very kind and knew the product well. The color of the fabric seemed like she knew what I already had in my apartment. I couldn't have asked for a better salesperson than her. The whole experience lasted for almost a hour from entering asking about likes and dislikes going around to different sections of the store then to the down payment process.
