!!!DON’T SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU CAN PICKUP YOUR PURCHASE!!! Up to the point of delivery, I would have said my experience at this Ashley was great. I scheduled my delivery date in-person with the sales person and delivery department. I even confirmed the date with both persons. On the day of delivery, nothing was delivered, no phone call or update from the company. My delivery date was changed without so much of a word to me for 1 week later. When I called, I was told I had the wrong date. So, spending thousands of dollars with this company doesn’t make you a valued customer. Their delivery department employees and manager lack integrity and professionalism. They rather call their customers liars than own their deceitful practices and that they forgot to schedule my delivery. If they valued their customer's hard earned money being spent at Ashley’s, at the bare minimum, they would have scheduled the delivery for the next day. DONT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU CAN PICKUP YOUR PURCHASE. Otherwise, you’ll be like me waiting 4 weeks for your furniture to arrive. If you decide to shop here, I highly recommend Sid. He was a pleasure to work with. He listened to my ideas and found me exactly what I wanted. His styling/decoration ideas were spot on. There was no pressure to buy and he provided a variety of high-medium-low end choices. Besides the above debacle, it was a good experience which I attribute to Sid. Thanks Sid!

We worked with Will getting some new furniture for our house. He was very supportive and wasn’t pushy. We told him what we were looking for and did everything he could to help us. Can’t say enough good things about him and won’t work with anyone else. Thank you Will!

We also needed a new mattress and Scott pointed us to Manny who helped us find a good mattress too! All in all great experience!

Even though Jason does not typically work in the mattress section he was incredibly helpful for us while we searched for a mattress!! My wife and I purchased a sectional a couple weeks ago with the help of Jake, and he was great. Even though we live in the Quad Cities we drove to the Coralville Ashley location due to their extensive selection. When we called in advance we connected with Michael Pfrimmer and let him know what we were looking for. He was professional, friendly and directed us to the best options to consider. Once we arrived there was no pressure to buy, just support, guidance and the information we needed to make the best decision. He went above and beyond to ensure that we got the best price and made it such a pleasant experience, that we felt so comfortable with, that we will make the drive to Coralville again to work with Mike for our next purchase. Buying furniture can be overwhelming, but Mike made it easy. We can't recommend him enough if you're considering buying from Ashley Coralville!

Will Ambroson was great! Super personable and made the process quick and easy with some laughs along the way.

Do yourself a favor, and do NOT purchase a couch from this place. After purchasing a sectional from this store (one of their “high-end” options, we were told and the price certainly implied as much), it ended up being wildly uncomfortable and broke down entirely within a year. Even worse, the couch’s legs have screws inside them that we realized break through the plastic “casing” and cause damage to your flooring. We were sent to another company to handle a claim for the flooring, but when Ashley sent us new legs for the couch, THE SCREWS WERE ALREADY BROKEN THROUGH the new legs. Because their furniture is just that poor quality. Honestly never regretted a furniture purchase as much as this one. $3,200 later. Will NEVER be working with these guys again. Unbelievable.

Called Ashley's today and was fortunate to be transferred to Zeek. Asked about what they had in store for mattresses that I could purchase, pick up today. When I arrived at the store a little while later he showed me what we spoke about. I ended up buying a queen and Cali king mattress. He was very knowledgeable and polite. When it came to loading the mattresses, the person who typically would have helped with that had gone home. He graciously helped me load my truck up AND I found my tie-down straps were not in my truck. He went and got his out of his truck and let me borrow them! If there is an employee of the year award- Zeek would have my vote! Great customer service and just an all around wonderful person! I will get those straps back to Zeek! Thank you! Bobbie

My experience with this Ashley was a nightmare. They attempted to deliver my furniture 4 seperate times and each time every piece was damaged. Furniture that was supposed to arrive in August turned into a 3 month process. I ended up accepting the damaged furniture just to end the endless loop. Find another store in the area for your furniture needs.

Came in looking for some stools and left with the perfect set for our home! Michael P was super helpful, knowledgeable, and helped us with a coupon code for our purchase. Will definitely be back next time we need some furniture!

Writing this from the comfort of our new sofa, chosen with the expert help of Mike. After a peanut butter disaster with our old couch, it was time for something new and I didn't want to cheap out on something our family spends a majority of our time on. Went to Ashley because of recommendations from coworkers and am so grateful I listened to them. Lots of selection, and when Mike saw me struggling to keep my son (perpetrator of the aforementioned peanut butter crime) entertained while looking, he swooped in not only to help me find the best couch for our home, but also to answer any and all questions my son had (all of them Paw Patrol related). Mike got us set up with an awesome warranty, and while I did paperwork he showed my son how to tie a bow tie (three times in a row). Will definitely be back in the future.

For how much furniture i needes, Manny made it incredibly quick and easy to choose it. Highly recommend him for any help needed!

We've been going to Ashley furniture for 5 years now and have always had a great experience there. All of the salespeople have been great to work with. Recently we worked with Michael to purchase some patio furniture, and he was one of the best salesmen (in any industry) I've ever worked with. Not only was he extremely helpful in us finding the right furniture- taking us throughout the store to look at everything, being mindful of our budget, and going the extra mile to find some patio chairs to complete our set- but even more than this, he was so kind and sweet with our 3 year old son. He even watched/ played with him so we could focus on finding furniture. Any parent of a toddler knows how stressful shopping in a non-kid friendly environment can be. But not only did we feel welcome with our children; it was a blessing having them there because Michael treated them like his own family while we were there. We will definitely be going back to Ashley in the future thanks to the warm and caring nature of salespeople like Michael!

We have been shopping for a higher quality reclining sectional for months and have went to all the big name furniture stores. We always left feeling like we played a game and lost, confused with different pricing for the same piece of furniture. Not feeling like they wanted our business or cared about customer service. I previously had brought furniture from Ashley back in December I met a guy named Manny he was so patient and very understanding and very informational and everything was scheduled perfectly. recently I went to Ashley Furniture and met Michael and Zeek They both were very patient and funny and understanding. I was told that my furniture was in back order, and it can be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks I told them that was too far back, so they said it can be ordered within two weeks, so I said OKAY. later on, a couple of days later I went back to talk to Zeek to put items off of my invoice because I felt that I didn't need some of the items. he seems a little moody. I was basically told that I was making a stupid decision, and I was not comfortable with that at all. Also I did not get my furniture within a month and a week or so. April 12- May 22

I had originally written a 5 star review, because the service in the store was great. But it has been nothing but issues since then. It took 8 weeks for our furniture to arrive, after we were estimated only 3-5 weeks. I would not be upset by this but there was zero communication from anyone that there was a delay. I would call and ask for updates and get told "a salesman will need to call you back. They will get back to you shortly." I wouldn't get a call back. Long story short, after I called the store three times, I think they forgot to order part of our order but didn't want to admit their mistake as they offered to ship us part of the order but were still going to make us pay for the entire order. Then, the delivery finally arrives, and they didn't include the remote to the fire place, after I had specifically asked the delivery guys about it. They said it was included in a wrapped package of all the shelves that went with the tv set. I immediately took this apart and the remote was not there. I called Ashley. They told me they would ship one from their warehouse and it would arrive in 3-5 days. It's been three weeks. Still hasn't arrived. Every time I call and ask where it is they say "it shipped yesterday it should be there soon." I recommend looking elsewhere for your furniture needs.

I am an overly large guy _ 6"5 and over 420lbs at the time of purchase due to medical issues. I walked in on two different days (2 diffetent associates that had no idea i was in previously) explained my back and nerve issues, what exactly I was looking for and most importantly a needed a recliner for a guy my size (I know there are plenty of options out there that I have seen online) and both associatea recommended the exact same recliner.. the redwood.. the one with the $1750 price tag each. We had just recently moved to the area and made a huge downsize in space. After talking it over with the wife, we went back the next day and purchased TWO of these chairs so they would match in our smaller place. Let me tell you, if you weigh anything over 175-200lbs, THIS CHAIR IS TRASH!! I had repair person out to our place to "fix" the exact same issue 4 times (one of those times they had it for over two weeks because he needed to work on it in the repair shop) I bet you cant guess what broke again?? 🤬😡 I will even add some photos to show this recliner was well taken care of and not abused to cause this issue.

Christy greeted me and answered my initial questions about what might be in stock. I explained what I was ideally looking for, as it has been challenging to find something we love that fits our space well. Christy was able to give several suggestions that fit my needs and showed me exactly what I was hoping to find! She took the time to show me all the unique features, such as the washable fabric, anti-slip feet, a console with a drawer, etc. and went above and beyond any expectations I could have had. I appreciated her helping brainstorm various layouts and check prices on individual pieces of the sectional to fit all our needs and budget. She was very knowledgeable about each piece she suggested and the delivery process. I had many questions and she answered them all thoroughly. Manny in the Coralville Ashley Store was great. We picked out a discounted loveseat and recliner set but couldn't get the couch that matched. He showed us a similar set on ths showroom floor that we liked better than what we originally picked out. It ended up the same price as the discounted set. It also has the new pet fabric that doesn't leave scratch marks. We love it and appreciate him showing us a nicer set without trying to push a much more expensive set on us. We love our new furniture! We will definitely go back to Ashley's and ask for Manny!

I can't express enough how amazing the people at the Coralville, IA store are with making me feel welcome and handling all of my needs. I especially want to thank Mechelle, Cristy and Zeke. I have been at the store multiple times and have been treated like a VIP each time. I have had to make changes to my order multiple times due to my needs and life circumstances changing. Very knowledgeable on the construction and quality of all their items, showed us how they worked and even took the leaf out of a table so we could see it without. Always stopped by when he thought we had interest in an item and was very personable but it didnt feel like he was hovering. Left us alone to discuss amongst ourselves and walk around. Ended up buying three pieces of furniture and will definitely be back to buy more from him! Prices were comparable to elsewhere and quality was outstanding. If you stop in definitely ask for Jason!

Ashley Furniture in Coralville IA is a great place to furnish your house. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by Michelle. She inquired about our visit, what could she help us with. We were in need of a new twin size bed and mattress. Michelle showed us around the bedroom area, letting us know which bedroom sets came in a twin size. We were even shown the Clearance area. After making our selection, we went to the bedding area. Zeke took over and walked us through our mattress / pillow choices. Then on to pick out some high stools for our kitchen island seating. I had purchased the guardian protection plan on my couch and dining room chairs and have had a great experience with it. I have 3 kids so have used it a lot. After over 3 years they couldn’t get the stains out of the chairs so gave me a credit to use in store for anything they sell. Was easy to use and everyone was happy to help! Request Sid if you go!

Ashley carries Lazy Boy furniture. You'd never know it if you Google La-Z-Boy in Iowa City. You'd be directed to Cedar Rapids just like I was. But someone told me and so glad they did. What an amazing experience! Drove over from Des Moines and had the good fate of meeting Will A., a fellow North Iowan! Jake Airgood was great! Very helpful and friendly, wasn't pushy and was very willing to look things up for us and walk back and forth. Bonus, was very sociable and gave great insight on the couches. Overall great experience at the store.

Today my boyfriend and I went here and were met with a women. The women left us and didn’t return when we concluded on a couch to buy we went looking and the holy grail of a man Sid C. came and helped us. He made us feel like we had known him for a long time and he gained our trust and respect in an instant. While we were filling out the paper work the women in the beginning told Sid that he had stolen us. First of all you left us, Second you don’t get to claim us because you see how serious we were about buying. She then tried to get our representative to switch and put her name with us. As soon as she walked away I told Sid she will not be getting a cent of my money. I did pull the Karen card out a bit to talk to the manager. Love Sid and he is the only reason we will think about buying from here again.

All around a quite pleasant furniture purchase!

I visited a year ago and have not returned because it wasn’t worth it to me or my small family. Pros 1. Open concept layout 2. Location convenience 3. Some variety of furniture Cons 1. Cost 2. Delivery/protection plan fees 3. Staff follows looking to up-sale you on items. 4. Online options are much better. We ended up finding most of our furniture on Wayfair, Etsy, and Amazon. It works just fine, usually free or low price delivery and a 1/3 of the ridiculous prices in this store.

Then I came back a few days later with my husband and we changed things yet again even as we were writing up the order. I highly recommend her and thank her for all her help in picking things out.

We purchased 2 bed frames and one of them we got the dresser mirror night stand and chest!!! I just had a very positive and enjoyable experience working with Jamie Peck, Assistant Manager at the Coralville store. I needed to select a replacement for a damaged recliner that was covered by their protection plan. Since I am disabled, going to the store would be difficult and painful. Jamie worked with me via text to explore the options. Turns out that the best answer was ordering the same chair again, which she facilitated smoothly and without complications. Since this recliner is where I spend most of my days, I am really grateful for her friendly, caring and very professional help. This will be our first stop for furniture from now on.

We were in the market for a new couch and decided to stop in and immediately had a very pleasant experience! This was actually a 3 day process for us since we had our toddler with us and I couldn’t make up my mind on what set I wanted! Christy was the person who helped us all 3 days, she was patient, kind, honest and professional! We told her our wants and needs and she waisted no time showing us our options! We also have 3 large dogs who did a number on our last couch so we needed something that would withstand better and she pointed us in the right direction on the right blend of fabric for us! We had a very positive experience and I know we couldn’t of picked the right set without her professionalism!

We purchased a couch from this location in the last year and paid a good amount of money extra for the pet warranty as we have two dogs. The sales man that helped us really urged us to get this warranty as it can cover pet damages. We had some damage from one of our dogs. When trying to file our claim customer service was a nightmare. They first entered our claim in wrong and we had to wait for someone to fix it. Then we were told that our warranty will not cover the damage that the pet caused ( a rip). The sales man clearly stated to us multiple times that this could all be covered and urged us to buy the warranty. I feel played and lied to. Ashley called us back today to tell us sorry and they cannot cover it. I will not be buying furniture from here again; I feel played and scammed. If you do buy the "warranty" don't expect them to do anything and take 4 weeks to respond. Awful experience here.

A great selection of furniture and art that you can buy. The reason I gave them two stars is due to a salesperson. They introduced themself like normal and gave the classic "Let me know if you need anything," we agreed to let them know, and we started walking around and looking. This salesperson proceeds to stalk us. They were following us from a distance, and as soon as I sat down in a chair or couch to try it out, they sprung in and attempted to sell that couch to me. This kept happening... Every sofa I tested out, and by testing. It was very uncomfortable. Being watched and followed like that was a terrible experience. I understand they work off of Commission, and times are challenging for sales, but you lost a buyer that day due to your sales approach. We want to come back and look again but to be honest, we are weary due to that salesperson. I am unsure if the whole sales team is like this, and it could just be this one person, but it ruined our time there.

WOW!! I was at the Coralville store today to pick out my new mattress from a claim. Jamie Peck was amazing from the start. She filed the claim, then educated me on the difference between mattresses. She also showed me the adjustable base. What a night and day difference between a metal frame and the adjustable base!!! I had a great experience at Ashley. I came in knowing roughly what I needed but not really what I wanted. Salesperson Scott helped me tremendously. We walked around and he said come back with a sketch and some measurements. I came back the next day with my kids and we picked out some really nice stuff. Scott walked me through payment and delivery and it was all super easy. My daughter said thank god that guy was there so you didn't pick that ugly one. She was right. Ask for Scott Neal Hoffman.
