We have been shopping for a higher quality reclining sectional for months and have went to all the big name furniture stores. We always left feeling like we played a game and lost, confused with different pricing for the same piece of furniture. Not feeling like they wanted our business or cared about customer service. Today, we went to Ashley Homestore in Coralville and was greeted by a very courteous representative, Christy Terp, who quickly established what our needs were and met them perfectly. I previously had brought furniture from Ashley back in December I met a guy named Manny he was so patient and very understanding and very informational and everything was scheduled perfectly. recently I went to Ashley Furniture and met Michael and Zeek They both were very patient and funny and understanding. I was told that my furniture was in back order, and it can be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks I told them that was too far back, so they said it can be ordered within two weeks, so I said OKAY. later on, a couple of days later I went back to talk to Zeek to put items off of my invoice because I felt that I didn't need some of the items. he seems a little moody. I was basically told that I was making a stupid decision, and I was not comfortable with that at all. Also I did not get my furniture within a month and a week or so. April 12- May 22

We had the easiest time finding a couch for an awkward space. Michael was our sales guy and he was awesome! Highly recommend seeking him out for your furniture needs!

I had originally written a 5 star review, because the service in the store was great. But it has been nothing but issues since then. It took 8 weeks for our furniture to arrive, after we were estimated only 3-5 weeks. I would not be upset by this but there was zero communication from anyone that there was a delay. I would call and ask for updates and get told "a salesman will need to call you back. They will get back to you shortly." I wouldn't get a call back. Long story short, after I called the store three times, I think they forgot to order part of our order but didn't want to admit their mistake as they offered to ship us part of the order but were still going to make us pay for the entire order. Then, the delivery finally arrives, and they didn't include the remote to the fire place, after I had specifically asked the delivery guys about it. They said it was included in a wrapped package of all the shelves that went with the tv set. I immediately took this apart and the remote was not there. I called Ashley. They told me they would ship one from their warehouse and it would arrive in 3-5 days. It's been three weeks. Still hasn't arrived. Every time I call and ask where it is they say "it shipped yesterday it should be there soon." I recommend looking elsewhere for your furniture needs.

** Pending update ** We have agreed to a plan to resolve my issue. If this goes through I will come back to update my review. Only reason I give one star is because i cant give zero!! I am an overly large guy _ 6"5 and over 420lbs at the time of purchase due to medical issues. I walked in on two different days (2 diffetent associates that had no idea i was in previously) explained my back and nerve issues, what exactly I was looking for and most importantly a needed a recliner for a guy my size (I know there are plenty of options out there that I have seen online) and both associatea recommended the exact same recliner.. the redwood.. the one with the $1750 price tag each. We had just recently moved to the area and made a huge downsize in space. After talking it over with the wife, we went back the next day and purchased TWO of these chairs so they would match in our smaller place. Let me tell you, if you weigh anything over 175-200lbs, THIS CHAIR IS TRASH!! I had repair person out to our place to "fix" the exact same issue 4 times (one of those times they had it for over two weeks because he needed to work on it in the repair shop) I bet you cant guess what broke again?? 🤬😡 I will even add some photos to show this recliner was well taken care of and not abused to cause this issue.

This was a large purchase for us and we were looking at every little details and scenarios. Christy was so helpful! I came in expecting to have to settle after a disaster purchasing a sectional from another company. Christy greeted me and answered my initial questions about what might be in stock. I explained what I was ideally looking for, as it has been challenging to find something we love that fits our space well. Christy was able to give several suggestions that fit my needs and showed me exactly what I was hoping to find! She took the time to show me all the unique features, such as the washable fabric, anti-slip feet, a console with a drawer, etc. and went above and beyond any expectations I could have had. I appreciated her helping brainstorm various layouts and check prices on individual pieces of the sectional to fit all our needs and budget. She was very knowledgeable about each piece she suggested and the delivery process. I had many questions and she answered them all thoroughly. I felt she was very friendly, honest, and did not try to upsell, which was also greatly appreciated and comforting. Overall our experience was fantastic- thanks Christy!

Manny in the Coralville Ashley Store was great. We picked out a discounted loveseat and recliner set but couldn't get the couch that matched. He showed us a similar set on ths showroom floor that we liked better than what we originally picked out. It ended up the same price as the discounted set. It also has the new pet fabric that doesn't leave scratch marks. We love it and appreciate him showing us a nicer set without trying to push a much more expensive set on us. We love our new furniture! We will definitely go back to Ashley's and ask for Manny!

I can't express enough how amazing the people at the Coralville, IA store are with making me feel welcome and handling all of my needs. I especially want to thank Mechelle, Cristy and Zeke. I have been at the store multiple times and have been treated like a VIP each time. I have had to make changes to my order multiple times due to my needs and life circumstances changing. Jason Nobel helped us find some fantastic furniture for our new house! Very knowledgeable on the construction and quality of all their items, showed us how they worked and even took the leaf out of a table so we could see it without. Always stopped by when he thought we had interest in an item and was very personable but it didnt feel like he was hovering. Left us alone to discuss amongst ourselves and walk around. Ended up buying three pieces of furniture and will definitely be back to buy more from him! Prices were comparable to elsewhere and quality was outstanding. If you stop in definitely ask for Jason!

I worked with Jason and he helped me find two Lazy Boy recliners. He showed us what he thought would be the perfect chairs for us. After him showing us the chairs and explaining how to work them, he also told us about how they were made. Then left us alone to talk to each other and try out other pieces. Ashley Furniture in Coralville IA is a great place to furnish your house. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by Michelle. She inquired about our visit, what could she help us with. We were in need of a new twin size bed and mattress. Michelle showed us around the bedroom area, letting us know which bedroom sets came in a twin size. We were even shown the Clearance area. After making our selection, we went to the bedding area. Zeke took over and walked us through our mattress / pillow choices. Then on to pick out some high stools for our kitchen island seating. During the whole process, we were not lead to the most expensive furniture. Michelle and Zeke explained the differences in cost, benefits and allowed to make our decision based upon our budget. Thanks for making it a pain free experience. We can hardly wait to have our selections delivered. This is a repeat purchase from Ashley in Coralville, we will definitely be back again!

I had purchased the guardian protection plan on my couch and dining room chairs and have had a great experience with it. I have 3 kids so have used it a lot. After over 3 years they couldn’t get the stains out of the chairs so gave me a credit to use in store for anything they sell. Was easy to use and everyone was happy to help! Request Sid if you go!

Ashley carries Lazy Boy furniture. You'd never know it if you Google La-Z-Boy in Iowa City. You'd be directed to Cedar Rapids just like I was. But someone told me and so glad they did. Great selection, great space, super easy parking and best of all, Sales Consultant Mary Anne O. Well humored, knowledgeable, adult attention span, patient and keen observer. What an amazing experience! Drove over from Des Moines and had the good fate of meeting Will A., a fellow North Iowan! He wasn't afraid to take my husband and I to the $300 couches so we could sit on them and see how different they felt from the higher-quality LaZBoy, and how the Flexsteel felt even better than the LaZBoy. We purchased a Lazy Boy rocker/recliner from Ashley's through salesperson Denise. It was a special order, but after we had it a while, we decided it wasn't quite like one in the showroom. She worked pleasantly with us to get exactly what we wanted even though it was a special order. Hats off to Denise and Ashley Furniture.

We just purchased a home and needed to furnish it, so we decided to go to Ashley to see some options. We were greeted by Manny who asked us what our needs were, and he graciously showed us some options around the store. We ended up leaving with putting in an order for a sofa and recliner and couldn't be happier. We even decided to throw in a dining room set we found online to be tacked on to our order. Today my boyfriend and I went here and were met with a women. The women left us and didn’t return when we concluded on a couch to buy we went looking and the holy grail of a man Sid C. came and helped us. He made us feel like we had known him for a long time and he gained our trust and respect in an instant. While we were filling out the paper work the women in the beginning told Sid that he had stolen us. First of all you left us, Second you don’t get to claim us because you see how serious we were about buying. She then tried to get our representative to switch and put her name with us. As soon as she walked away I told Sid she will not be getting a cent of my money. I did pull the Karen card out a bit to talk to the manager. Love Sid and he is the only reason we will think about buying from here again.

I visited a year ago and have not returned because it wasn’t worth it to me or my small family. Pros 1. Open concept layout 2. Location convenience 3. Some variety of furniture Cons 1. Cost 2. Delivery/protection plan fees 3. Staff follows looking to up-sale you on items. 4. Online options are much better. We ended up finding most of our furniture on Wayfair, Etsy, and Amazon. It works just fine, usually free or low price delivery and a 1/3 of the ridiculous prices in this store.

I just had a very positive and enjoyable experience working with Jamie Peck, Assistant Manager at the Coralville store. I needed to select a replacement for a damaged recliner that was covered by their protection plan. Since I am disabled, going to the store would be difficult and painful. Jamie worked with me via text to explore the options. Turns out that the best answer was ordering the same chair again, which she facilitated smoothly and without complications. Since this recliner is where I spend most of my days, I am really grateful for her friendly, caring and very professional help. This will be our first stop for furniture from now on.

We were in the market for a new couch and decided to stop in and immediately had a very pleasant experience! This was actually a 3 day process for us since we had our toddler with us and I couldn’t make up my mind on what set I wanted! We purchased a couch from this location in the last year and paid a good amount of money extra for the pet warranty as we have two dogs. The sales man that helped us really urged us to get this warranty as it can cover pet damages. We had some damage from one of our dogs. When trying to file our claim customer service was a nightmare. They first entered our claim in wrong and we had to wait for someone to fix it. Then we were told that our warranty will not cover the damage that the pet caused ( a rip). The sales man clearly stated to us multiple times that this could all be covered and urged us to buy the warranty. I feel played and lied to. Ashley called us back today to tell us sorry and they cannot cover it. I will not be buying furniture from here again; I feel played and scammed. If you do buy the "warranty" don't expect them to do anything and take 4 weeks to respond. Awful experience here.

A great selection of furniture and art that you can buy. The reason I gave them two stars is due to a salesperson. They introduced themself like normal and gave the classic "Let me know if you need anything," we agreed to let them know, and we started walking around and looking. This salesperson proceeds to stalk us. They were following us from a distance, and as soon as I sat down in a chair or couch to try it out, they sprung in and attempted to sell that couch to me. This kept happening... Every sofa I tested out, and by testing. It was very uncomfortable. Being watched and followed like that was a terrible experience. I understand they work off of Commission, and times are challenging for sales, but you lost a buyer that day due to your sales approach. We want to come back and look again but to be honest, we are weary due to that salesperson. I am unsure if the whole sales team is like this, and it could just be this one person, but it ruined our time there.

WOW!! I was at the Coralville store today to pick out my new mattress from a claim. Jamie Peck was amazing from the start. She filed the claim, then educated me on the difference between mattresses. She also showed me the adjustable base. What a night and day difference between a metal frame and the adjustable base!!! I had a great experience at Ashley. I came in knowing roughly what I needed but not really what I wanted. Salesperson Scott helped me tremendously. We walked around and he said come back with a sketch and some measurements. I came back the next day with my kids and we picked out some really nice stuff. Scott walked me through payment and delivery and it was all super easy. My daughter said thank god that guy was there so you didn't pick that ugly one. She was right. Ask for Scott Neal Hoffman.

That’s how their delivery guys set up/ install my kids bedroom. It’s obvious, the headboards should face the tv on the wall. I called them and they don’t want to come back and I paid for installation.

Mark Newhouse is a wonderful salesman , Mark knows his furniture extremely well. We love our new furniture. The delivery people were very friendly and knowledgeable.

We purchased a Flexsteel love seat and chair and the power to the recliner on the love seat went out a week after it was delivered. (We waited 6-8 weeks to get it in the first place) We were then told by the management of Ashley was not helpful at all and after many phone calls they told us that we’d have to call the warranty people to fix it. Months later we are still waiting on the part to come in after several days taken off of work to be here for them to fix it. The tech only works on Wednesdays. This store doesn’t tell you that when you purchase from them and this set was not cheap. I’ll never buy anything from Ashley or Flexsteel again and neither should you. VERY Dissatisfied.

This is a huge store & has an emirmous amount of furniture & decor for your home. I purchased $3400.00 in 4 pieces of living room furniture & it was delivered to my door because I didnt want to pay $139.00 for each piece to be carried in when we are able to do it ourselves. As soon as it was delivered, we found a big hole that was on the back corner of the sofa, & the coffee table top was warped very badly & had 3 other issues with the drawers & the quality of the table. Called their customer care & they ordered another sofa & coffee table that will not be delivered for 2 weeks which has left us quite upset. We paid good money for all of this furniture & the quality of the furniture is definitley not worth what we paid for it & we got it all on sale. Update!!! 6/6/24 The sofa we purchased has had the seat cushions replaced a total of 4 times since purchasing this piece of furniture as well as the recliner seat cushion being replaced once. The sofa seat cushions are flat again, & the seating deck is broken making it like sitting in a deep hole when sitting down. The 1 year manufacturers warranty has run out, & the hundreds of $'s we spent on their Guardian plan will not cover any of these issues. MY ADVICE TO ALL Customers.... "DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY FURNITURE WHAT SO EVER IN THIS STORE AS IT IS ALL VERY CHEAPLY BUILT, & NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR GUARDIAN PLANS AS THESE ARE ALSO A WASTE OF SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! The Guardian plans will only allow you to file 1 claim per piece of furniture, & if it breaks or the seat cushions in our case are flat after 2-3 weeks of use, these are considered normal wear & tear items & they are not covered under the Guardian plans! Read plans very carefully before being talked into purchasing because like I said, They are a huge waste of hundreds of dollars. Very disappointed in addition to feeling like we've been screwed! " We have spent over $4,000.00 on furniture at this store, & we will never spend another cent at any Ashley Furniture stores EVER AGAIN!!!

I went in looking for bedroom furniture and had never been in there before. Christy Tero was the sales woman that helped me. She was so understanding (as I also had a toddler with me) and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. She was very quick about showing what was available and was very informative. Thank you. It was my first time in Ashley's and I saw that they have great prices and great sales people.

I wish I could have given more than one star. List of things that went wrong. Order was given week before of Thanksgiving! - My order never arrived on time. - Some stuff that came damaged still waiting for them to fix it. - I had to cancel some stuff after the thanksgiving because it never came in time and we ended up getting something else. Still waiting on the refund till this day!!! I have reached and stopped many times regarding this. All I get is we will make sure it gets taken care of. But nth so far!!!! We have shopped and purchased quite a bit of furniture from Ashley the past few years. While in Coralville today, we were greeted by Jake. We told him we were just looking, and he was great at letting us look, but stayed nearby incase we had questions. After spending quite a bit of time in the store today, I had to leave a review. Jake was helpful, but not pushy. He had great insight and suggestions for us. He was very knowledgeable of the products and he was by far, the best sales associate we’ve ever had at Ashley, and probably a lot of other stores as well. My wife and I were well served by the discerning eye of sale representative and designer Will Ambroson. We greatly appreciated his patience, advise, and recommendations. He was able to show us a couch and design pattern that went beyond what we had even envisioned for our room that we ended up going with (the England series). We also feel that he was able and willing to give us a good deal and honor coupons. Overall, we are very happy with our experience and recommend this store and the services of Will to others.

Our salesperson, Will Ambroson is wonderful and communicative! We felt comfortable with him as we were able to communicate without barriers. He was with us all the way. We bought a sectional sofa and it was delivered. Few days later we decided the sectional sofa wasn’t a good fit for us. We went back to the store and Will met with us again to show us few sofas that could be a best fit for us. We went with a higher quality sofa with power recliners and the price was too good to walk away from. The return and paying the difference turned out to be easy. The return and delivery process was very simple as it should be. We are happy with our new sofa!

Since moving to Iowa City, we have bought a new Purple mattress (highly recommend), sofa, end table, and adjustable bed base all from Ashley in Coralville. The staff there are so friendly, helpful and just plain awesome to talk to. We are especially fond of Zeke (not sure of spelling). He has helped us choose the right bed, adjustable bed base, pillows and sofa. Such a kind and helpful person. These guys are AWESOME! I went in for a few things and the guys there were very knowledgeable and DID NOT pressure me. They were more like friends helping me pick our the right item, not the most or least expensive one. They all know what they're doing and the products I went home with are QUALITY. If you need any furniture I have to highly recommend Ashley Furniture Coralville. PS: I'm NEVER leaving this sectional! I should also add in this edit that we had NO issues with the delivery team and they even helped us move the old couch downstairs! Talk about above and beyond!

Bought 2 rocking chairs from them, both of them have broken once. Protection plan by Guardian is a joke. Been waiting 3 MONTHS for a simple 3"x3" spring that's broken on the bottom of the chair. Reached out to Guardian now over 9 times and every time they say allow 3-5 more business days with no follow up every time. I'll buy from IKEA, Walmart, & any homeless guy off the street with a chair made out of a cardboard box before buying from Ashley's Furniture again. Thanks for nothing!

When I ordered my sectional from Ashley, I explicitly mentioned that I would like my sofa to be delivered in my home and the sales person reassured me that the delivery would be at the doorstep. When the delivery guys came, it was clearly mentioned in their bill that the sectional was to be delivered at door step/garage/lobby. However, the delivery guys put the sofa in the lobby despite me requesting to put in on the door step of my 5th floor apartment. In the end, they took $100 from me and then dropped it in my apartment haphazardly. Very disappointed with the service. I would have given one star but the buying process was smooth and order came before delivery date, hence 2 stars.

I recently bought a couch from Ashley homestore and had the pleasure of working with Jake Airgood. He was very knowledgeable and was able to find a great deal within my budget. I also signed up for delivery and he was consistently on top of reminding me to schedule and take care of the delivery. Working with Jake was great, definitely recommend working with him!

Horrible experience. My piece of furniture was supposed to be delivered last week. When the driver arrived , i told him i'll be down in 5 min. 5 min later , the driver was gone. i called customer service and they said they have a very busy schedule and that i need to reschedule my delivery, for a 5 min wait , This is how much it takes for you to get out of the apartment , take the elevator and meet them downstairs. I rescheduled and the earliest delivery date was next week which was today. Their window indicates that they will be here between 1 and 4 pm. I specifically decided to stay home that day to avoid any inconveniences. I got a text saying that they have arrived at 11:30. I rush downstairs and there's no one , kept looking for a truck but nothing. As I'm going back , i go to the mailroom to check my mail , and here it was. The piece of furniture was unwrapped and thrown in the mailroom on the ground. I called customer service , they managed to call the drivers to come back 40 min later to assemble it. The delivery team were unprofessional , they went inside assembled the piece of furniture so fast under 10 min. i had to tighten all the screws after they left. Horrible service. Will not buy anything from this store ever again.

They do not even deserve 1 star. I am extremely disappointed in their service overall. I rarely write comments on google but this time, I felt like other people should be aware of their terrible customer service... We did schedule for a bed delivery a month ago, however they did not arrive on time that they mentioned in their text and they left without delivering the bed and they did not even give a call. When we called to reschedule the delivery on the same day or maybe within 1-2 days, they said they could not do it until NEXT WEEK because delivery company was going out of town. We waited for a week and today was the delivery day finally after a long wait. As if that wasn't enough, delivery truck delivered the bed into the mailroom today without coming to the apartment to assemble it. I will never ever get anything from Ashley. If possible, stay away from purchasing anything from their store to avoid dealing with their horrible customer service.....

Just had the best experience we've ever had in a furniture store. Dakota was knowledgeable, listened to our wants, extremely thorough and very patient with us. We've had problems in the past and she went above and beyond to resolve the issues that had nothing to do with her or her store. She is a huge reason for the 5 stars! The display floor was well thought out and beautiful. The selection had plenty to offer. Overall, our expectations were exceeded!

Second review: 2/21/25 My son and I came in determined to leave with a dining set. I had come in a few days prior and was helped by Manny. We sought him out, and he was just as helpful as the last time. We browsed the store for a while, and when we were ready, he took us through the purchase quickly. Unfortunately for me, the table I had chosen was wrong for my space, so we had to exchange for a different one. The exchange was so quick and easy! I am beyond grateful for the service provided by Manny. He remembered me and what I wanted each time I saw him. He was great to work with! He was very familiar with the inventory and quickly answered any questions we had. He was professional, yet very down to earth. As usual, I was not pushed into a purchase or bothered by anyone. This is how you do sales! I love my new dining set, and I still love my couch (bought in 2022)! Thank you Manny and Ashley Furniture! We had such a good experience at this store!! We were greeted right away by Catherine, who asked us what we were looking for. We told her we were going to look (and sit!) for ourselves. When we were ready, she helped us with our choices, looking up prices, discounts, & colors. She was not pushy or overbearing. On our way to find an ottoman for a couch we liked, we found "the one"! Catherine looked it up, gave us the best deal possible, and let us talk about purchase options privately. Once we decided how we were going to buy, the whole process took about 10 minutes & we were out the door, with a pick-up date less than a week away! A trainee (Will) was also very friendly, and if we come back for another purchase, we look forward to working with him in the future. Thank you to both Catherine and Will for making our trip enjoyable, easy, and fast.

Sales people were very helpful

The delivery people, the warehouse and store people have no idea what is going on with your delivery. I had a sectional ordered that came three times with missing pieces and every time I had to send it back. When you call store, they say everything is there and warehouse may have done it wrong. You call warehouse, they blame it on delivery. I had also ordered a bed frame which was replaced due to fitting issues and on my next delivery for sectional, they also brought a new bed for replacement ( after doing replacement two weeks ago). These entire franchise is run by people who have no idea and no coordination. There is not much option here but if you can avoid this store, I would do so

I wish I could give Ashley Furniture 10 stars instead of only five. The quality of their furniture and mattress is of the highest order. But what sets Ashley apart from other similar stores is the care and impeccable service they provide after the sale. Zeek Zirbel at the Coral Ridge Homestore and Jennifer Stevens at the Cedar Rapids store are genuinely interested in the complete satisfaction of the customer. Should there ever be a need to repair or exchange an item, the Ashley Company is at the ready to satisfy the customer. Take it from me, before you buy any item of furniture or mattress go to Ashley first.

We bought 2 LaZBoy recliners on November 18th, and picked them up on the 22nd. One of the chairs had knots in the legs on the base, so I called the Ashely store. They passed me off to customer service at Furniture Mart, who convinced me that I should keep the chair, based on LaZBoy's lifetime workmanship warranty. When I tried to assemble the chair, the back wouldn't go on. I looked at the brackets, and one wasn't installed correctly at the factory. I contacted Furniture Mart customer service again, and sent them photos of the bracket. They agreed that it was a factory defect, and arranged to have a replacement chair delivered on December 4th. I didn't hear anything further, so I called customer service on the morning of the 4th, only to be told the replacement chair wasn't where it needed to be (2 weeks after the arrangements were made) and wouldn't be delivered on the 4th, but they would call back by the end of the day with new arrangements. They didn't call back. I contacted them on the morning of the 6th, and they told me they would deliver the replacement on December 16th. That's nearly a month after we bought a chair that was in stock at the warehouse. I called the Ashley store and asked to speak to a manager, but he wasn't in. They took my name and number and told me he would call, but I hadn't heard from him by 4:00, so I called back. The receptionist told me that the manager wasn't going to call me back (in meetings for the rest of the day), and I'd have to wait until the salesperson was in. The sales person was supposed to call us the next day, but she didn't, so we called her. She implied that we didn't know how to assemble the chair, despite the fact that we assembled the other chair, and customer service had already determined that the chair was defective. The replacement chair was finally delivered on the 16th. If I could give them a no-star rating, I would. Avoid this place.

The furniture is nice but the price increases are outrageous!!! I kept my eye out for the living room set to go on sale, but with a more than 20% increase in price from Memorial Day to Black Friday, the savings were only about 5%. No thank you.

Would not recommend if you want a quality product. Ordered a custom upholstered couch with ottoman from this store, and was sold on a furniture protection plan that as advertised covered the couch's internal components. Around a year after receiving the couch (after waiting several months more than expected to get the thing in the first place), a support strut has broken, and the insurance claim has been denied. I'm not at all the kind of person to beat up a couch, so the damage is surprising, but I guess I'm going to repair this one and try to sell it so I can buy from someone else.

For all the hype this store gets I just wasn't real impressed as I thought I would be. I was there with a friend who was sofa hunting which she found one in the clearance section. I didn't find anything I would have gotten even if were free.

I ordered a recliner on a Saturday, they said it would be here Monday or Wednesday the following week. It did not show up. Called the next week and got the same answer. Called 2 weeks later and was told they would have it here that Monday. It is still not here. This is the last time I buy from this store.

Pathetic! Should have a spot for negative stars. I ordered some furniture the a few months ago. I was told it would be delivered in 2 weeks on a Friday. It didn’t show up on Friday. When I called they said my order was for pickup. I explained to them that it was not a pickup but a delivery. I spoke with the salesman and he admitted to his wrongdoing. So I asked to come pick it up. It was still in the shipping process. I was told I’d receive a partial refund. Well 2-3 weeks later it showed up. Only 1/2 of the order and a non matching ottoman…… A month later the rest of the furniture arrived. It only took 2 months to get the furniture. Will never buy from here again. So, I’ve called and talked with support. Just like the owner said. They claim I’m not owed any type of refund because I received everything I ordered. Even tho they messed the order up completely…..and it was delivered about 2 months late. Zeke zarbel was the associate that helped me. Steer clear. You will NEVER receive my business

We had a fantastic experience shopping at this location. The manager was willing to spend half of the day walking all throughout the store to ensure that we got exactly what we needed. At no point were we ever pressured into purchasing something that wasn’t right for us because of the price. We had a great time and will absolutely be back!

I’ve purchased a couch and coffee table from the Ashley store and I absolutely love it. Yesterday I got the privilege of working with her again and purchased a TV stand. Not only was Shelby very kind, but also patient as I looked through the whole store. She didn’t make me feel pressured to buy anything, which was refreshing. I would highly recommend anyone to the store. The quality of the furniture is excellent and working with Shelby made my shopping experience really easy. I will definitely be back!

After a horrible 1st experience of a sectional being delivered that was the wrong configuration a year or so ago and then having to wait 4+ months for the correct one to be delivered, I was hesitant to buy again. Mind you we sold our living room furniture the day before the incorrect coach was delivered so we went without for months with nothing other than bean bags and the middle of the sectional. I had a credit from the first so I didn’t want it to go to waste. The salesperson was lovely however, she took me over to the more expensive section stating that these had a 8-12 week wait. This is for our movie room so we didn’t want/need to go overboard. I just called today and they said that it won’t be available until at least February now. I feel lied to and foolish for returning. Yes, manufactures are having a difficult time with production but I went in knowing this and was promised a window of time that it would be delivered. I would not recommend them due to the fact that they don’t stick by their words.

Highly would not recommend we ordered three bedrooms sets in June and have only received 1/2 our order to date now middle of September missing parts backordered items and these items were allegedly in stock when we ordered. We ended up ordering alternative items from Amazon that are Ashley branded that came same week of our order. Poor communication between warehouse and sales. Very disorganized company.

I went into Ashley in Coralville, Ia looking for a recliner and had such a positive experience due to one of the associates, Jake Airgood. He is knowledgeable about the item I was interested in and he is just a fabulous person. Ashley should be very proud to have such a fine young man as one of their associates.
