What an amazing experience! Drove over from Des Moines and had the good fate of meeting Will A., a fellow North Iowan! I had called ahead and he had everything ready to show us based on what I was telling him we were looking for. He had completed all the homework and leg work and made our job so easy. We absolutely loved what he was showing us and he knew all the ins and outs. Our experience at this store was efficient and our consultant, Mary Anne Ostrum, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and understanding. I couldn't ask for a better experience while picking out a new reclining love seat by Laz-E-Boy at the Coralville store. My salesperson Mary Anne Ostrum was very knowledgeable on the product and took you to the area within the store with no problems what so ever. She also was very kind and knew the product well. The color of the fabric seemed like she knew what I already had in my apartment. I couldn't have asked for a better salesperson than her. The whole experience lasted for almost a hour from entering asking about likes and dislikes going around to different sections of the store then to the down payment process. Any time I need furniture or someone asks I always refer them to Ashley Furniture.

We went to Ashley on 4/12, regarding our sofa we purchased in March. We received the wrong adapter for our reclining sofa. Jake Airgood provided us with the correct one immediately. We also bought a chair today. His knowledge guided us throughout the process. He will definitely be our go to in the future.

Sid C was absolutely awesome! I've honestly never understood why some couches are $500 and others are $2500. Sid explained to me the differences in materials, comfort, and durability. He wasn't afraid to take my husband and I to the $300 couches so we could sit on them and see how different they felt from the higher-quality LaZBoy, and how the Flexsteel felt even better than the LaZBoy. For our budget, we ended up with LaZBoy, and we're very excited to have it come in just a couple weeks. Thank you Sid!

We purchased a Lazy Boy rocker/recliner from Ashley's through salesperson Denise. It was a special order, but after we had it a while, we decided it wasn't quite like one in the showroom. She worked pleasantly with us to get exactly what we wanted even though it was a special order. Hats off to Denise and Ashley Furniture.

We just purchased a home and needed to furnish it, so we decided to go to Ashley to see some options. Today my boyfriend and I went here and were met with a women. The women left us and didn’t return when we concluded on a couch to buy we went looking and the holy grail of a man Sid C. came and helped us. He made us feel like we had known him for a long time and he gained our trust and respect in an instant. While we were filling out the paper work the women in the beginning told Sid that he had stolen us. First of all you left us, Second you don’t get to claim us because you see how serious we were about buying. She then tried to get our representative to switch and put her name with us. As soon as she walked away I told Sid she will not be getting a cent of my money. I did pull the Karen card out a bit to talk to the manager. Love Sid and he is the only reason we will think about buying from here again.

I visited a year ago and have not returned because it wasn’t worth it to me or my small family. Pros 1. Open concept layout 2. Location convenience 3. Some variety of furniture Cons 1. Cost 2. Delivery/protection plan fees 3. Staff follows looking to up-sale you on items. 4. Online options are much better. We ended up finding most of our furniture on Wayfair, Etsy, and Amazon. It works just fine, usually free or low price delivery and a 1/3 of the ridiculous prices in this store.

When I shop for furniture, I always use Jake at this store. He is an excellent sales person and VERY knowledgeable about the products. I custom ordered a sofa, and I felt disappointed this is how it lined up. They thought they had it fixed, but when it arrived at my house, the line fell in the same place. My movers were delayed as the sign on the warehouse doesn't reflect the correct pickup hours. Jake was really kind about everything and we have started over with a new sofa. The assistant manager mentioned they have ordered an updated sign as to avoid pickup-time confusion in the future.

Mary Ann O. Went above and beyond in helping me pick out furniture, fabric colors and styles for our new furniture. Then I came back a few days later with my husband and we changed things yet again even as we were writing up the order. I highly recommend her and thank her for all her help in picking things out.

We recently purchased a sofa and our experience earned 5 stars! Mary Anne listened to our wants and showed us several pieces. She wasn’t pushy but instead helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, a friendly, enjoyable experience.

I just had a very positive and enjoyable experience working with Jamie Peck, Assistant Manager at the Coralville store. I needed to select a replacement for a damaged recliner that was covered by their protection plan. Since I am disabled, going to the store would be difficult and painful. Jamie worked with me via text to explore the options. Turns out that the best answer was ordering the same chair again, which she facilitated smoothly and without complications. Since this recliner is where I spend most of my days, I am really grateful for her friendly, caring and very professional help. This will be our first stop for furniture from now on.

We were in the market for a new couch and decided to stop in and immediately had a very pleasant experience! This was actually a 3 day process for us since we had our toddler with us and I couldn’t make up my mind on what set I wanted! Christy was the person who helped us all 3 days, she was patient, kind, honest and professional! We told her our wants and needs and she waisted no time showing us our options! We also have 3 large dogs who did a number on our last couch so we needed something that would withstand better and she pointed us in the right direction on the right blend of fabric for us! We had a very positive experience and I know we couldn’t of picked the right set without her professionalism!

We purchased a couch from this location in the last year and paid a good amount of money extra for the pet warranty as we have two dogs. The sales man that helped us really urged us to get this warranty as it can cover pet damages. We had some damage from one of our dogs. When trying to file our claim customer service was a nightmare. They first entered our claim in wrong and we had to wait for someone to fix it. Then we were told that our warranty will not cover the damage that the pet caused ( a rip). The sales man clearly stated to us multiple times that this could all be covered and urged us to buy the warranty. I feel played and lied to. Ashley called us back today to tell us sorry and they cannot cover it. I will not be buying furniture from here again; I feel played and scammed. If you do buy the "warranty" don't expect them to do anything and take 4 weeks to respond. Awful experience here.

A great selection of furniture and art that you can buy. The reason I gave them two stars is due to a salesperson. They introduced themself like normal and gave the classic "Let me know if you need anything," we agreed to let them know, and we started walking around and looking. This salesperson proceeds to stalk us. They were following us from a distance, and as soon as I sat down in a chair or couch to try it out, they sprung in and attempted to sell that couch to me. This kept happening... Every sofa I tested out, and by testing. It was very uncomfortable. Being watched and followed like that was a terrible experience. I understand they work off of Commission, and times are challenging for sales, but you lost a buyer that day due to your sales approach. We want to come back and look again but to be honest, we are weary due to that salesperson. I am unsure if the whole sales team is like this, and it could just be this one person, but it ruined our time there.

WOW!! I was at the Coralville store today to pick out my new mattress from a claim. Jamie Peck was amazing from the start. She filed the claim, then educated me on the difference between mattresses. She also showed me the adjustable base. What a night and day difference between a metal frame and the adjustable base!!! Thank you Jamie for your impeccable customer service and your know how in the mattress industry!! The Wheelers thank you!! Here’s to better nights of peaceful and more restful sleep!!

I had a great experience at Ashley. I came in knowing roughly what I needed but not really what I wanted. Salesperson Scott helped me tremendously. We walked around and he said come back with a sketch and some measurements. I came back the next day with my kids and we picked out some really nice stuff. Scott walked me through payment and delivery and it was all super easy. My daughter said thank god that guy was there so you didn't pick that ugly one. She was right. Ask for Scott Neal Hoffman.

We had a wonderful experience. Will Ambroson and Zeek Zirbel were both such a delight to work with. We would highly recommend them both. They were so kind, caring and highly experienced salespeople. That’s how their delivery guys set up/ install my kids bedroom. It’s obvious, the headboards should face the tv on the wall. I called them and they don’t want to come back and I paid for installation.

Mark Newhouse is a wonderful salesman , Mark knows his furniture extremely well. We love our new furniture. The delivery people were very friendly and knowledgeable.

We purchased a Flexsteel love seat and chair and the power to the recliner on the love seat went out a week after it was delivered. (We waited 6-8 weeks to get it in the first place) We were then told by the management of Ashley was not helpful at all and after many phone calls they told us that we’d have to call the warranty people to fix it. Months later we are still waiting on the part to come in after several days taken off of work to be here for them to fix it. The tech only works on Wednesdays. This store doesn’t tell you that when you purchase from them and this set was not cheap. I’ll never buy anything from Ashley or Flexsteel again and neither should you. VERY Dissatisfied.

This is a huge store & has an emirmous amount of furniture & decor for your home. I purchased $3400.00 in 4 pieces of living room furniture & it was delivered to my door because I didnt want to pay $139.00 for each piece to be carried in when we are able to do it ourselves. As soon as it was delivered, we found a big hole that was on the back corner of the sofa, & the coffee table top was warped very badly & had 3 other issues with the drawers & the quality of the table. Called their customer care & they ordered another sofa & coffee table that will not be delivered for 2 weeks which has left us quite upset. We paid good money for all of this furniture & the quality of the furniture is definitley not worth what we paid for it & we got it all on sale. Update!!! 6/6/24 The sofa we purchased has had the seat cushions replaced a total of 4 times since purchasing this piece of furniture as well as the recliner seat cushion being replaced once. The sofa seat cushions are flat again, & the seating deck is broken making it like sitting in a deep hole when sitting down. The 1 year manufacturers warranty has run out, & the hundreds of $'s we spent on their Guardian plan will not cover any of these issues. MY ADVICE TO ALL Customers.... "DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY FURNITURE WHAT SO EVER IN THIS STORE AS IT IS ALL VERY CHEAPLY BUILT, & NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR GUARDIAN PLANS AS THESE ARE ALSO A WASTE OF SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! The Guardian plans will only allow you to file 1 claim per piece of furniture, & if it breaks or the seat cushions in our case are flat after 2-3 weeks of use, these are considered normal wear & tear items & they are not covered under the Guardian plans! Read plans very carefully before being talked into purchasing because like I said, They are a huge waste of hundreds of dollars. Very disappointed in addition to feeling like we've been screwed! " We have spent over $4,000.00 on furniture at this store, & we will never spend another cent at any Ashley Furniture stores EVER AGAIN!!!

I went in looking for bedroom furniture and had never been in there before. Christy Tero was the sales woman that helped me. She was so understanding (as I also had a toddler with me) and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. She was very quick about showing what was available and was very informative. I wish I could have given more than one star. List of things that went wrong. Order was given week before of Thanksgiving! - My order never arrived on time. - Some stuff that came damaged still waiting for them to fix it. - I had to cancel some stuff after the thanksgiving because it never came in time and we ended up getting something else. Still waiting on the refund till this day!!! I have reached and stopped many times regarding this. All I get is we will make sure it gets taken care of. But nth so far!!!! We have shopped and purchased quite a bit of furniture from Ashley the past few years. While in Coralville today, we were greeted by Jake. We told him we were just looking, and he was great at letting us look, but stayed nearby incase we had questions. After spending quite a bit of time in the store today, I had to leave a review. Jake was helpful, but not pushy. He had great insight and suggestions for us. My wife and I were well served by the discerning eye of sale representative and designer Will Ambroson. We greatly appreciated his patience, advise, and recommendations. He was able to show us a couch and design pattern that went beyond what we had even envisioned for our room that we ended up going with (the England series). We also feel that he was able and willing to give us a good deal and honor coupons. Overall, we are very happy with our experience and recommend this store and the services of Will to others.

Our salesperson, Will Ambroson is wonderful and communicative! We felt comfortable with him as we were able to communicate without barriers. He was with us all the way. We bought a sectional sofa and it was delivered. Few days later we decided the sectional sofa wasn’t a good fit for us. We went back to the store and Will met with us again to show us few sofas that could be a best fit for us. We went with a higher quality sofa with power recliners and the price was too good to walk away from. The return and paying the difference turned out to be easy. The return and delivery process was very simple as it should be. We are happy with our new sofa!

These guys are AWESOME! I went in for a few things and the guys there were very knowledgeable and DID NOT pressure me. They were more like friends helping me pick our the right item, not the most or least expensive one. They all know what they're doing and the products I went home with are QUALITY. If you need any furniture I have to highly recommend Ashley Furniture Coralville. PS: I'm NEVER leaving this sectional! I should also add in this edit that we had NO issues with the delivery team and they even helped us move the old couch downstairs! Talk about above and beyond!

Bought 2 rocking chairs from them, both of them have broken once. Protection plan by Guardian is a joke. Been waiting 3 MONTHS for a simple 3"x3" spring that's broken on the bottom of the chair. Reached out to Guardian now over 9 times and every time they say allow 3-5 more business days with no follow up every time. I'll buy from IKEA, Walmart, & any homeless guy off the street with a chair made out of a cardboard box before buying from Ashley's Furniture again. Thanks for nothing!

When I ordered my sectional from Ashley, I explicitly mentioned that I would like my sofa to be delivered in my home and the sales person reassured me that the delivery would be at the doorstep. When the delivery guys came, it was clearly mentioned in their bill that the sectional was to be delivered at door step/garage/lobby. However, the delivery guys put the sofa in the lobby despite me requesting to put in on the door step of my 5th floor apartment. In the end, they took $100 from me and then dropped it in my apartment haphazardly. Very disappointed with the service. I would have given one star but the buying process was smooth and order came before delivery date, hence 2 stars.

I recently bought a couch from Ashley homestore and had the pleasure of working with Jake Airgood. He was very knowledgeable and was able to find a great deal within my budget. I also signed up for delivery and he was consistently on top of reminding me to schedule and take care of the delivery. Working with Jake was great, definitely recommend working with him!

Horrible experience. My piece of furniture was supposed to be delivered last week. When the driver arrived , i told him i'll be down in 5 min. 5 min later , the driver was gone. i called customer service and they said they have a very busy schedule and that i need to reschedule my delivery, for a 5 min wait , This is how much it takes for you to get out of the apartment , take the elevator and meet them downstairs. I rescheduled and the earliest delivery date was next week which was today. Their window indicates that they will be here between 1 and 4 pm. I specifically decided to stay home that day to avoid any inconveniences. I got a text saying that they have arrived at 11:30. I rush downstairs and there's no one , kept looking for a truck but nothing. As I'm going back , i go to the mailroom to check my mail , and here it was. The piece of furniture was unwrapped and thrown in the mailroom on the ground. I called customer service , they managed to call the drivers to come back 40 min later to assemble it. The delivery team were unprofessional , they went inside assembled the piece of furniture so fast under 10 min. i had to tighten all the screws after they left. Horrible service. Will not buy anything from this store ever again.

They do not even deserve 1 star. I am extremely disappointed in their service overall. I rarely write comments on google but this time, I felt like other people should be aware of their terrible customer service... We did schedule for a bed delivery a month ago, however they did not arrive on time that they mentioned in their text and they left without delivering the bed and they did not even give a call. When we called to reschedule the delivery on the same day or maybe within 1-2 days, they said they could not do it until NEXT WEEK because delivery company was going out of town. We waited for a week and today was the delivery day finally after a long wait. As if that wasn't enough, delivery truck delivered the bed into the mailroom today without coming to the apartment to assemble it. I will never ever get anything from Ashley. If possible, stay away from purchasing anything from their store to avoid dealing with their horrible customer service.....

Just had the best experience we've ever had in a furniture store. Dakota was knowledgeable, listened to our wants, extremely thorough and very patient with us. We've had problems in the past and she went above and beyond to resolve the issues that had nothing to do with her or her store. She is a huge reason for the 5 stars! The display floor was well thought out and beautiful. The selection had plenty to offer. Overall, our expectations were exceeded!

Sales people were very helpful

The delivery people, the warehouse and store people have no idea what is going on with your delivery. I had a sectional ordered that came three times with missing pieces and every time I had to send it back. When you call store, they say everything is there and warehouse may have done it wrong. You call warehouse, they blame it on delivery. I had also ordered a bed frame which was replaced due to fitting issues and on my next delivery for sectional, they also brought a new bed for replacement ( after doing replacement two weeks ago). These entire franchise is run by people who have no idea and no coordination. There is not much option here but if you can avoid this store, I would do so

I wish I could give Ashley Furniture 10 stars instead of only five. The quality of their furniture and mattress is of the highest order. But what sets Ashley apart from other similar stores is the care and impeccable service they provide after the sale. Zeek Zirbel at the Coral Ridge Homestore and Jennifer Stevens at the Cedar Rapids store are genuinely interested in the complete satisfaction of the customer. Should there ever be a need to repair or exchange an item, the Ashley Company is at the ready to satisfy the customer. Take it from me, before you buy any item of furniture or mattress go to Ashley first.

We bought 2 LaZBoy recliners on November 18th, and picked them up on the 22nd. One of the chairs had knots in the legs on the base, so I called the Ashely store. They passed me off to customer service at Furniture Mart, who convinced me that I should keep the chair, based on LaZBoy's lifetime workmanship warranty. When I tried to assemble the chair, the back wouldn't go on. I looked at the brackets, and one wasn't installed correctly at the factory. I contacted Furniture Mart customer service again, and sent them photos of the bracket. They agreed that it was a factory defect, and arranged to have a replacement chair delivered on December 4th. I didn't hear anything further, so I called customer service on the morning of the 4th, only to be told the replacement chair wasn't where it needed to be (2 weeks after the arrangements were made) and wouldn't be delivered on the 4th, but they would call back by the end of the day with new arrangements. They didn't call back. I contacted them on the morning of the 6th, and they told me they would deliver the replacement on December 16th. That's nearly a month after we bought a chair that was in stock at the warehouse. I called the Ashley store and asked to speak to a manager, but he wasn't in. They took my name and number and told me he would call, but I hadn't heard from him by 4:00, so I called back. The receptionist told me that the manager wasn't going to call me back (in meetings for the rest of the day), and I'd have to wait until the salesperson was in. The sales person was supposed to call us the next day, but she didn't, so we called her. She implied that we didn't know how to assemble the chair, despite the fact that we assembled the other chair, and customer service had already determined that the chair was defective. The replacement chair was finally delivered on the 16th. If I could give them a no-star rating, I would. Avoid this place.

Big box store. Kinda high priced. Nice staff.

The furniture is nice but the price increases are outrageous!!! I kept my eye out for the living room set to go on sale, but with a more than 20% increase in price from Memorial Day to Black Friday, the savings were only about 5%. No thank you.

Would not recommend if you want a quality product. Ordered a custom upholstered couch with ottoman from this store, and was sold on a furniture protection plan that as advertised covered the couch's internal components. Around a year after receiving the couch (after waiting several months more than expected to get the thing in the first place), a support strut has broken, and the insurance claim has been denied. I'm not at all the kind of person to beat up a couch, so the damage is surprising, but I guess I'm going to repair this one and try to sell it so I can buy from someone else.

For all the hype this store gets I just wasn't real impressed as I thought I would be. I was there with a friend who was sofa hunting which she found one in the clearance section. I didn't find anything I would have gotten even if were free.

I ordered a recliner on a Saturday, they said it would be here Monday or Wednesday the following week. It did not show up. Called the next week and got the same answer. Called 2 weeks later and was told they would have it here that Monday. It is still not here. This is the last time I buy from this store.

Pathetic! Should have a spot for negative stars. I ordered some furniture the a few months ago. I was told it would be delivered in 2 weeks on a Friday. It didn’t show up on Friday. When I called they said my order was for pickup. I explained to them that it was not a pickup but a delivery. I spoke with the salesman and he admitted to his wrongdoing. So I asked to come pick it up. It was still in the shipping process. I was told I’d receive a partial refund. Well 2-3 weeks later it showed up. Only 1/2 of the order and a non matching ottoman…… A month later the rest of the furniture arrived. It only took 2 months to get the furniture. Will never buy from here again. So, I’ve called and talked with support. Just like the owner said. They claim I’m not owed any type of refund because I received everything I ordered. Even tho they messed the order up completely…..and it was delivered about 2 months late. Zeke zarbel was the associate that helped me. Steer clear. You will NEVER receive my business

We had a fantastic experience shopping at this location. The manager was willing to spend half of the day walking all throughout the store to ensure that we got exactly what we needed. At no point were we ever pressured into purchasing something that wasn’t right for us because of the price. We had a great time and will absolutely be back!

I’ve purchased a couch and coffee table from the Ashley store and I absolutely love it. Yesterday I got the privilege of working with her again and purchased a TV stand. Not only was Shelby very kind, but also patient as I looked through the whole store. She didn’t make me feel pressured to buy anything, which was refreshing. I would highly recommend anyone to the store. The quality of the furniture is excellent and working with Shelby made my shopping experience really easy. I will definitely be back!

After a horrible 1st experience of a sectional being delivered that was the wrong configuration a year or so ago and then having to wait 4+ months for the correct one to be delivered, I was hesitant to buy again. Mind you we sold our living room furniture the day before the incorrect coach was delivered so we went without for months with nothing other than bean bags and the middle of the sectional. I had a credit from the first so I didn’t want it to go to waste. The salesperson was lovely however, she took me over to the more expensive section stating that these had a 8-12 week wait. This is for our movie room so we didn’t want/need to go overboard. I just called today and they said that it won’t be available until at least February now. I feel lied to and foolish for returning. Yes, manufactures are having a difficult time with production but I went in knowing this and was promised a window of time that it would be delivered. I would not recommend them due to the fact that they don’t stick by their words.

I've frequent this establishment, and for twenty minutes not one person approached me. There's a lack of customer service and this is always.I came to purchase a living room set back in May and the exact same thing. Very Dissatisfied

Highly would not recommend we ordered three bedrooms sets in June and have only received 1/2 our order to date now middle of September missing parts backordered items and these items were allegedly in stock when we ordered. We ended up ordering alternative items from Amazon that are Ashley branded that came same week of our order. Poor communication between warehouse and sales. Very disorganized company.

I went into Ashley in Coralville, Ia looking for a recliner and had such a positive experience due to one of the associates, Jake Airgood. He is knowledgeable about the item I was interested in and he is just a fabulous person. Ashley should be very proud to have such a fine young man as one of their associates. I bought furniture from here last June. Extremely excited for our new house, my partner and I bought a bed frame, bedside drawers, a dresser, and a kitchen table from Ashley. A few days after our furniture was built and installed, we noticed a few scratches on our bed and bedside drawers. So we called Ashley to let them know of those damages and nothing was done. A few months later, one side of our bed frame is falling apart. I called Ashley again and they put us in contact with their customer service to get it fixed. When they sent a tech out to us all they did was look at the damage and said that they needed a part from Davenport. That was back in February and I've tried calling to get them to come and fix our bed but they're giving us the run around. Do you best and avoid Ashley Furniture. Terrible customer service and if something breaks while under warranty, they'll do their best to not help you. Edit: They tried to "reach out" to me below but they cannot get back to me that way either. What a joke. Edit2: This issue still has not been resolved and they have refused to get back in contact with me. I've called back numerous times and I'm still paying for furniture that does not function as intended. Take your business elsewhere.

After I decided on a couch Sarah did all the rest. She was very professional and made sure I was aware it could take up to14 weeks for shipment. I waited to review until after I received the product. We went in looking for a bed. My wife and I have very different desires in mattresses and in furniture décor. Zeek did an excellent job of helping us find a mattress that worked for both of us while also allowing us enough time and space to make a decision. Based on our preferences he directed us to a few different mattresses that he thought we might like before stepping back for us to debate which was the appropriate one for us. Once we began looking for a frame Timothy helped us and he also allowed us to peruse while debating which we liked best before finally settling on a frame that satisfied both my wife and myself. Finally the delivery and setup went smoothly and we could not be happier with our new bed.

Thanks so much to have Johana I don’t speak fluent English it was hard for me to get what I want before but I’m so thankful I was there 1 week ago working with johana she is so patient and give us a good costumer service my husband wants to go back with her to get a new sofa! Tim Padallia said he would call me on Monday to tell me if my couch was or was not in (LIED) never called. He also said he would call me when my couch got in (LIED) I've still not gotten a call from anyone saying my couch was in but don't worry I did it myself I had a similar experience a while back perhaps the sales people don't care about anything except getting a sale then screw the customer because hey we already have their money... we bought this couch because slumberland was estimated 6-8 weeks out I believe we will just wait next time and get our stuff from there. I’ve bought two of my sofas from her, both times and she respected my budget and educated me on the brands available. Sara asked questions I hadnot considered when buying new furniture; would my furniture be in direct sunlight, types of animals in my home and my room measurements.

Got my bed a few years ago and it STILL is just as comfy and firm as it was when I picked it up. This bed has plenty mileage left in it and i couldn't be happier with my purchase. The sales associates were very helpful but not pushy. Very nice and professional. Wayne Sours (Manager) even helped me pick out my perfect entertainment center and I love it. It looks and fits perfectly. I couldn't recommend these guys enough!

After recently purchasing a new to us home, we wanted to add new living room furniture that met our needs and matched new flooring that also was going to be installed. Denise Ogden was fantastic in helping find a couch, recliners and tables that met all of requirements. She took as much time as needed and even helped us move pieces together to see how they matched each other. Once delivered, the furniture fit the space and matched the flooring perfectly! I highly recommend working with Denise for any of your furniture needs!

Walked into Ashley’s mattress section with no real idea what to look at. Zeek gave me a few suggestions to try out. He did not pressure me into buying anything like most salesmen, but tried to give the best suggestions. Great experience. My main complaint is in the wait time for delivery. COVID took my 2 week delivery to a month.

When we came in and picked out our La-Z-Boy sofa, Jake was extremely helpful to us in walking us through our options based on what we were looking for and he was incredibly patient after seeing us try out 15+ sofas. Even when our furniture was slow to arrive due to Covid related shipping issues, the store was incredibly communicative about these issues and the store manager, Wayne, did what he could to make sure e got o furniture as quickly as possible. We appreciate their customer service and will be coming back for any furniture needs we have in the future!

Ashley HomeStore has a great furniture selection but terrible communication and customer service. I ordered a love seat, couch, and recliner on May 12th. We were told our love seat and couch would be ready on May 27th, the day I moved into my new home. The recliner was custom made, so we were told to expect approximately 6-8 weeks before it was delivered. On May 27th, I called to see if my furniture was being delivered. The person who answered the phone call stated it would not be in for weeks, and acted confused as to why I thought it would be coming that day. On our printed receipt it says our delivery date is May 27th. It was not communicated to us at all that our couch and love seat would not be ready for weeks. After several more weeks go by, I called to check on the status of the order. The lady answering the phone seemed annoyed I was checking on my already late order, and said it would still be awhile. Eventually after calling weeks again, they said the love seat had been sitting in the furniture store waiting to be picked up. No one communicated with me that my furniture was ready. After 8 weeks, I finally have the couch delivered and love seat after picking it up a couple weeks prior. When the couch was being delivered, we figured our recliner was coming since it had been 8 weeks. The delivery man said "By the way, did anyone tell you your recliner was back ordered?" How frustrating to have the delivery man tell us this, and not our sales associate. Over the past 8 weeks, I have received no phone calls updating us on our order and have had to reach out to the store every time I wanted to know when my furniture was coming. It has been 8 weeks and still no recliner, not sure when it will ever come since it was back ordered. Frustrated with Ashley for poor communication. Will not be recommending to family and friends.

We've been looking for a couch for about 4 months now. Actually went to the Ashley home store in cedar rapids a few weeks ago and looked at a few sectionals but we didn't see anything we loved. We stopped at the mall to get more candles from bath and body works (don't laugh, I love me some smoked whiskey carmel) and was window shopping the sectionals when we met Luke. Ask for him if you come here, he wasn't pushy, just asked good questions to help us narrow down what exactly we wanted (even some questions we hadn't even though about like which way we wanted it configured and which ones are pet friendly). We wanted a pretty specific couch- Grey or black, had to be a sectional, had to have chaise, had to seat at least 5 people, needs the ottoman, had to fit the budget. Luke found us exactly what we wanted and fit the budget so well that we decided to just buy it now instead of waiting any longer. Even with the delivery fee I feel like we got a great deal. It's rare that we make this big of a purchase and don't feel some amount of buyers remorse, but I'm happy with the entire purchase, from start to finish. Also, we found a side table that we really like, and we're coming back in a couple weeks to get that too. Can't wait to get it delivered and start sleeping on the couch when my girlfriend gets mad at me

Nice store and nice stuff, however we were given a delivery date then they told us it would be a week later, so then we choose to go pick it up ourselves from the distribution center and we were told they never had a delivery order for us. Upon trying to resolve the situation and get help that was very disappointing. Never got phone calls back from the sales associate as promised, etc. The buying experience was pleasant, but getting our stuff was not

I’d give a zero if I could! Bought a bed and 2 dressers. Wrong size bed was ordered by Zeek and we noticed this and called to have it corrected immediately, had to call back to find out if it was done, they said it was. 2 weeks later, wrong size bed delivered and crack in 1 of the dressers. I called and they said it would be corrected and call us back, never got a call back. Called back to see what was going on and they had no clue! Zeek dropped the ball! Spoke with an assistant manager, she said she take care of it, but only take off delivery fee! And would take another 2 weeks to get bed. Was supposed to call us back after talking to manager and let us know what was going on, no return call yet! Worst customer service I’ve ever had! At this point, I’d go somewhere else but I have too much money tied up in my order!

Bought living room sofa and love seat within two months couch looks like wood is broke at bottom and is falling in cheap furniture no good never again

Excellent selection improved by the great staff. Denise helped my wife and I pick out a great glider for our nursery. She and everyone else we worked with were knowledgeable, very courteous, and welcomed any questions we had. Denise in particular took out a lot of time to personally reach out to us and make sure we were satisfied with our purchase before and after receiving our chair. We had a great experience shopping here!

Dave with Ashley Furniture in the Coralville Mall was so extremely helpful! Furniture shopping can be stressful at times but with Dave helping it couldn’t have went better. He gave us great tips and made the experience so much better. We plan on getting all our furniture at Ashley’s!

Fist time buying a couch and Erika was very patient and helpful. She listened to what I liked and disliked about each item and used that to point me in the right direction. A store this big can be very overwhelming but Erika and the rest of the staff are prepared to help you through the process. Thanks for a great experience!

Had a very pleasant experience with Manny at the Coralville store showing us different living room sets and dining room tables. Good quality furniture and very knowledgeable paired with great communication made for an easy purchase.

We have an oddly shaped living room so finding furniture to fit good isn't easy. We worked with Dave at the Coralville store. He was awesome! After explaining what we were looking for he walked us right to the perfect sectional! Would definitely go back! Great experience, great salesman and great sectional!

If I could have gave a 1 I would have. So I played to get my stuff that I bought delivered to me on 02/25/2020 between the times of 4-7. They call me at 8 to say that they were not going to be able to deliver my stuff. So I call the next day thinking they would get it out to me sometime that day. Nope that didn't happen. I have never dealt with a company soooo unorganized and the lies they tell you. Managment is horrible with trying to help you. I advise u to save your hard earned money and spend it somewhere else.

I am a returning customer who works with Denise. It is nice to have her knowledge and guidance when shopping. I highly recommend her for an easy and great shopping experience.

My husband and I planned to visit Ashley Furniture upon hearing they were soon coming to Coralville. We had been planning on buying a dinette set but, not today. So we stopped in to just check things out. We were greeted by the Ashley salesperson Doug. Right from the start he was very warm and helpful, yet gave us space to browse their massive showroom. Needless to say, We were impressed. By the time we left we had made a purchase. Doug, along with Erica gave us one of the better experiences we've had buying furniture. We just had the MOST delightful experience today at Ashley Furniture in Coralville! From the moment we walked in the doors it felt like we were transformed into another world. As we browsed the showroom floor the smiles on our faces grew and grew. The sales staff were welcoming and friendly and ready to answer any questions we might have, yet respected our need (and encouraged us) to browse on our own. We ultimately worked with Dave Nixon and what a really good guy! Dave was patient, honest, knowledgeable and so generous with his time as he helped us explore the myriad of options available. Dave made this experience fun for us as he assisted us with piecing together the perfect match in sofa, loveseat, and side table set. We TOTALLY recommend Ashley Furniture and ESPECIALLY recommend Dave Nixon for everyone's next furniture buying expedition!!! We're so glad we met him!!!

We were looking for something different and went in to the store and saw right off the bat that it was a store with a lot to offer. We worked with Jamie Peck the sales rep She took the time to look and different fabrics and options for us we told her our concerns about how we use our furniture and the size of our room. She was very helpful in listening to us and Guiding us threw the store. We bought a sofa, loveseat and recliner When it was delivered (by very professional guys) it fit perfectly and was exactly what we expected! When we are ready for our New dinning room Set we will only go to Ashley in Coralville and see Jamie Peck this store and it’s employees know what the word customer service means!

Spent several hours over a couple days selecting multiple pieces of furniture, beds, mattresses, sofa, recliner, kitchen table and chairs, entertainment center etc. I will definitely go back for more quality furniture. Lookup Denise Ogden as she is dedicated , informative and helpful without being pushy. The new store is great with so many options, from Ashley and the only Lazy Boy gallery in the area.

Jamie took her time with me and grandson to find out what I wanted and price. She also matched prices on line for me. I would ask for her.

I think the store is So big & beautiful. So much furniture to chose from. Salesperson Jamie was very helpful. I explained what I wanted and she showed me several pieces till I found the couch & loveseat I wanted at the price I was willing to spend. When the furniture came in Jamie called me and we scheduled a delivery date that was good for me. I saw prices that should fit pretty much anyone’s price range and all of the furniture looked nice. I have bought several pieces of furniture at Ashley and I won’t got to any other furniture store. I would highly recommend Ashley Homestore to everyone looking for any new furniture. Very unprofessional. Store Manager was not nice, no apologies for when order was messed up twice. Tried to give store model and say it was the original piece. Very poor customer service. NOT going back. Guys in the back were very helpful and nice though:)

Prices were high! On top of that there were about 20 employees and probably 10 of them were harassing me. One of came back 3 times when I said I was just looking. Never going back!

We waited over 20 minutes for help. The Sales Associates were either on their phones or speaking to one another privately. We eventually left and looked elsewhere. It was very disappointing because we were interested in purchasing an entire bedroom set. I hope the customer service improves soon.
