With his help, we found exactly what we were looking for and ended up purchasing furniture for both our upstairs great room and our downstairs family room. The Ashley Furniture Store in the Southern Hills Mall is beautifully staged so you can see the furniture arrangements in your own home. I was looking for a new couch and Jacob Alesch took the time to help me determine the brand that would fit my needs and the best fabric to match my color palette at home. I went to the store at 6:45pm on Wednesday, August 13, and spent an hour there even though I already knew the item code and exactly what I wanted to buy. All I expected was for the store to process my order with the installment plan so I could pick it up as soon as possible. However, it took the employee an entire hour to handle her task, and even after that, they still couldn’t get it done. I had to leave and place the order online instead. I genuinely wonder if Ashley is truly hiring people who are capable of performing the most basic tasks in the store. I was extremely disappointed with the professionalism and work ethic of the staff on the day I visited.

Sales person was not helpful

Walked around for about 40 minutes never once got approached by a sales rep for help. Ended up finding what I was looking for, but ultimately I left frustrated and bought what I needed from a competitor that same day. Terrible service. Felt as if I was being ignored because of age.

I bought a small sectional and the same piece has been damaged both times they have delivered it. Now they want to deliver it a third time. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Terrible customer service. Harlena had attitude from the very beginning. Don’t waste your time with this company unless you plan on taking multiple days off for delivery.

Bob was delightful and easy to work with! He introduced himself and then gave us the space to explore what was available! Then when we had decided he was knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process! Bob was great!

The initial buying experience was good. They deliver via a different company and that experience was not good. The mattress had some threads coming off. I tried calling the number they provided and also texted the sales person and have had no response yet. We have purchased a lot from this store and were not expecting this experience.

Brady was super helpful and very knowledgeable when it came to deciding what mattress to purchase. His customer service is impeccable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Madison was amazing! She was super helpful but yet not pushy. She was very knowledgeable and could answer all of questions. She went out of her way on her day off to finalize our purchase and I can't say enough about how helpful she was! We recently purchased thousands of dollars of merchandise with the promise that it would all be delivered on a certain date. 1 day before delivery, we were notified that we would not be receiving it all with the lame excuse that the truck was full. Now we have to wait 2 weeks to receive the rest of our stuff. Nevermind that we also have jobs which now needs worked around. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

My boyfriend and I worked with Michael, the sleep specialist, and found a perfect new bed that suited all of our needs and was in our price range. Michael was very professional and he did not make us feel bad when we spoke about our budget. Michael never tried to push us into something we wouldn’t be able to afford. He gave us a ton of options and gave us time to speak about what we wanted. When we went up to finalize our purchase, a man came up and started belittling Michael calling him names and tried to make a scene in front of a ton of other guests. Michael kept his composure and spoke very professionally towards this angry customer and even tried to work with the issues the angry customer was having but the man Karen didn’t come there to listen he came there to be cruel and mean just to try and put Michael down. Instead, Michael stayed calm and did what the customer asked and let the man be on his way. Michael apologized profusely to my boyfriend and I for having to wait for him to handle that situation. I told Michael he was the one that should be apologized to. I have been in customer service for 10 years and I can not believe people still treat others that way. Michael deserves a raise and a medal for handling that situation with professionalism including the interaction with us after! Thank you Michael for helping us and being so kind and helpful. We will be telling everyone we know about you and hopefully getting you more business!!!!!

I went to a different Ashley location in SC to see what was/wasn't on hand and didn't have a positive interaction with one of the staff members there so I left and went back to work with Bruce. My fiancé and I had been to several stores in search for a couch to fit our new home. It was becoming a bleak experience due to the lack of custom service at other stores. It was such a quick turnaround once Jordan started assisting us. He was very informative and kind throughout the process. We left that store in such high spirits thanks to his assistance in finding the perfect couch for us.

After a little over a month of my fiance and I looking for our dream couch, we were fortunate enough to run into Jordan at Ashley's! We had been to plenty of other furniture stores, where employees paid us no mind. Jordan as soon as he saw us rushed over and asked if he could help, and then proceeded to be extremely dedicated to helping us find our dream couch which he did! He was very patient and professional answering all of our questions and attending to all of our wants and needs in the couch we wanted. I couldn't recommend a better sales associate!

Nice new store with a nice remodeling job and a wide variety of furniture to browse at. Originally a Younker's space until that retailer chain went out of business. All this store needs is a refurbishment on the elevator with brand new fixtures, cab, and motor: possibly by either KONE or Schumacher for this elevator that was originally a Montgomery with G&P fixtures manufactured from the mid 60s until the early 80s.

Luis Is awesome, he is very experienced and really knowledgeable.

Outstanding customer service and a great selection to chose from. They made the process easy and made me feel valued. Jorden was great to work with and was extremely knowledgeable in everything I asked about.

Manger yelling at employees was not a very welcoming store. Would not recommend with bad management. Definitely will call the head office because I and other costumer found that really rude.

I bought my tempurpedic LuxeBreeze from Luis V. a month ago. Best mattress ever. For a guy that sweats throughout the whole day (and night) I have finally eliminated that issue in my sleep. Glad I listened to him. Luis is the man! Edit: the mattress is expensive but well worth it.

New staff and still learning. The top floor is a different store from the top so you have to pay seperate it was not explained this when we first got in the store. Beds on the bottom floor but no mattress to buy on the bottom floor
