I had a fantastic experience at Ashley Furniture Store in Spirit Lake. When I called the day before explaining the type of couch I was looking for, I talked to Marcia. Over the phone, Marcia was friendly, offered many options to show us, and warmly invited us to visit the store. At the store, I was kindly greeted by Marcia who remembered our phone call. While she excitedly showed me options, she listened to my opinions and thoughts. To help with the final decision, it felt like a personal conversation where she offered her own opinions and advice to help. I am very happy with the couch I purchased, and I will gladly come back for any future furniture I may need. Thank you!

Clair was helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I enjoyed working with him. Positive but not pushy.

We stopped in (the first trip) to see what they had for bar stools. Steve helped us out and we ordered a set. When we picked up our order, we ended up ordering living room furniture. Steve was the reason we returned to purchase more. He is very patient and extremely helpful without being the typical pushy salesman type. He left us at the appropriate times to make our own decisions but also helped us make sure we got quality furniture in just the design we wanted within our budget. The furiture has been great thus far but if it weren't for Steve, we may or may not have returned-he made everything so easy with no pressure!

My son will be moving into his own home this month & will need furniture, so I came from Florida to help. Although we haven't closed on the house yet, we thought we could look & see what he liked. My past experiences have had salespeople follow me all over the store, which only made it hard to choose what I might want & leaving without buying anything. When we came in this particular day, we were greeted by Fonda Bailey. She welcomed us, explained the sales, ask what we were in need of & left us alone to look. She came back later to check on us & see if we had any questions. She was EXTREMELY helpful. My son picked out some furniture & we ended paying for it the same day & set a delivery time. If all salespeople were as pleasant & helpful as Fonda, shopping would be a breeze!! We will definitely be back to purchase more with this awesome lady. Thank you Fonda!! We're past and present customers of the furniture store. On this particular day, my wife and I were browsing the extensive inventory of pictures and wall hangings. A few things did catch our eye so after some discussion at we may be making a return visit. Also, the staff was very helpful...

They aren't actually connected to Ashleys full stock of options. If we had known they weren't actually Ashley despite what their sign and website say, we would have gone somewhere... That stated they did work with us. So 4 starts for having their Facebook hook up to Ashley without being able to so the same Ashley does nor have access to the same inventory.

Obviously not in the business of customer service or making money. Had their doors locked at 5:50 when they close at 6pm on a Saturday!

Great place with a huge variety. Take great care of their customers. had a minor mix up with the furniture we received. They handled everything with great professionalism. We have bought all our furniture in the past here and will continue to do so.

Searching for a new bed. The fiance and I had a great salesman who answered all of our questions thoroughly and spent a considerable amount of time with us. We ended up purchasing a Temperpedic matress and adjustable bed base with great financing options. It was delivered two weeks later and slept in it for the first time last night. Best night of sleep I have had in ages. I highly recommend this furniture store!

Excellent place to shop for all your home furnishings

Both Cedar Rapids & Spirit Lake, have great stores. Mark in CR & Brock in SL are very helpful. I wish we had an Ashley Store closer to Des Moines.

Sales lady assumed I wanted the cheapest mattress, I ended up buying from a sales person that asked what I was looking for.

Helpful staff, that answer any of your questions and go over any thing you needed but if you wanted to be left alone for a while they didn't tag along like a puppy

Extremely rude staff on the phone. Not just to me but my husband also. I don't do reviews unless they leave an impact good or bad. I can't believe you spend 4 grand on a bed and they treat you like garbage because its not something you loved once you got it. I could buy a car with that amount of money. I would never recommend anyone going to this place. Soiux city had much friendlier people and didnt make us feel bad for not liking our mattress after we purchased it. Its hard to love a mattress after laying on it for 10 minutes in a store. Maybe if these people hate their jobs and human beings so much, they should probably look into finding another place of employment. Because ultimately, you are going to lose business. We will drive the 2 hours to soiux city rather than the 30 minutes to this store.

Would match Amazon but made us order it and wait plus delivery charge of $70. No brainier! Went with Amazon and free shipping!

A very laid back zero pressure shopping experience. Unlike most furniture stores the sales person isn't hovering over you like a vulture to prey. The staff seems to be very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Great selection in every price range.....if you can't find something there to fit your needs , budget and taste then they must not make it...ask for G.R. when you visit....she was a great help..
