I love Ashley furniture and the employees at the Topeka KS store are amazing! Within a few minutes their salesperson found exactly what I was looking for and had delivery and setup arranged in 8 days. Woo Hoo!!! Plus, as an extra bonus she saved me money. Helped me to find the best fit for the mattress
It was easy to order. But due to the fact that I am paying $850 for a chair, $250 for no hassle delivery, $100 for insurance, I think Ashley should make an effort to deliver within a week. Not 2 to 3 weeks.

We had a very good experience buying our Hammis dining table and chairs online. I ordered them on a Wednesday and received them on Saturday. My husband and I assembled the table and chairs in less than an hour. It is a very cute table that seems to be of good quality. I also want to mention that the next day I decided I wanted to order 2 additional chairs. I called the Topeka Ashley Store, and Joy very kindly ordered those 2 chairs for me. Again, I am very pleased with my purchase and customer service experience with Ashley Home Store.

I looked on the internet for a chair I wanted from Ashley. Upon discovering the chair was on sale presently, I called the nearest Ashley store to me in Topeka. There I received amazing cooperation and gracious help from the employees at that Topeka store. We had friendly service with no pressure to buy. They understood the need to take our time with making a decision knowing we would be living with our choice for many years.
Poor craftsmanship on the Hazlea. They give you the softest screws possible with out pilot holes pre drilled causing them to strip and not go al the way in. I had to buy new screws and pre drill over 30 pilot holes to put it together. Wont buy Ashley again.

I couldn’t have asked for better service. The young man showing me the recliners was knowledgeable and patient. I’d like the princess and the pee. It takes a long time for me to find a fit. He was kind, caring, and so very helpful. The lady at the front desk filled out the paperwork for me. She didn’t have to. She was just helping me. I’d say this was a 10 out of 10. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Besides that I got a beautiful recliner.

I have never in my life written a review. Our experience with Ashley Furniture has prompted me to share. We ordered a new table and chairs and opted to have the store deliver and assemble the furniture. They chipped the table and broke the bench included during assembly. We have spent hours over the last month communicating with Ashley via phone and email being given the run-around about who is responsible for breaking the bench, reimbursement, and receiving a new bench. They have overcharged our card three separate times adding up to almost $1,400. I had to call them and ask them to void the inaccurate charges. The charges have also been pending for almost 2 months now. We are extremely disappointed in our experience and will never be purchasing or encouraging anyone else to purchase from Ashley Store again.

Shout out to Tristan. My husband and I went in to compare prices on a couch and we didn't feel pressured or suffocated by associates but the second we had a question there was one in sight.Tristan was more than happy to look up stock and time lines for us and give us as much information as possible. Highly recommend this team. The entire staff as a whole was amazing.
I love this store!!! All of the associates are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and really take the time to answer all of your questions. The store is very clean, from the showroom to the bathroom. If you’re in the mood to look, the associates don’t hover over you like a vulture waiting to devour so you don’t feel pressured into anything. If you’re trying out all of the different kinds of sofas, chairs, or mattresses, they never seem to get impatient with any indecision you may have. And last but never least, the music that they play in the store is amazing! My friend and I had such a fun time rocking out to some great tunes from our past and current day! And all of the pieces I got I still love! 10/10 will return here when I need more new furniture!!!

The sales lady with initials JLK assisted me with what I needed. I am buying the Castano 3 piece Sectional from the online Ashley Store. I am making two additional pillows that will match/ compliment the pillows coming with the Sectional to go with the chairs I plan to buy in the future. She also helped me make the decision on which bedroom set I will buy in the future. The sales lady and the other worker at the desk were exceptional and polite. I am a travel nurse on assignment here in Topeka, Kansas. The staff at the Ashley store here in Topeka have been wonderful, respectful, polite, and courteous every time I visited the store. I am starting over in life, and I found the furniture in my color scheme that I have been looking for the past two years at this Topeka Ashley store.

Amazing staff. Our gentlemen was so understanding and courteous. He explained everything to my momma multiple times and never seemed put out by it. I have found most (90%) of places want to hurry her and seem so rushed they don't take the time to make sure she understands and is comfortable with her purchase. I have no problem with the people who helped me at the Topeka store. My problem is the product I received both times I have bought from them. We bought a table, five stools and a bed frame winter 2021/22. We received it April of 2022. The table was broken. The delivery guy turned in the problem that day. We moved, we went back to Ashley and bought a TV stand and shelves with two drawers. We got them in the fall of 2022. The top drawer in the shelves does not open properly. Delivery guy turned it in that day. Assured me it would be a quick fix. In November I got a text Saying they would fix the drawer mid-December, they did not. A got a second text saying they would come the end of January 2023, and they did not. I have a call into them. Oh, the table was fixed when they made the delivery with the TV stand and shelves. I am almost certain I will not buy from them again.

I believe Becky is the one that helped us find our mattress. She was with us the whole time and looking up to see if they had any in stock. She was very patient with us going back and forth from different mattresses. And she got us fitted for new pillows, whenever they come in.

Ashley furniture is mid level in quality, and the store is quite nice. However, you'll pay more in an Ashley store than it you buy the same product elsewhere.
Would rate 0 if I could. I ordered from them MONTHS ago and still haven’t got my bed set. The first time it took longer than they even told me it would be to get (4-8 weeks). I had to go to their store and the warehouse. At their store I rang the bell they didn’t answer so I had to call. They finally came out saying they couldn’t find my order. They couldn’t find my order at first and basically doubted I ordered from them. I went in to help them find it. We found it but then I had to have my brother come in to help move boxes and get my own order. Him and I put it in the truck our self. Once we got home we realized the parts were not going together, they told me you could mix and match the headboard so I ordered what I liked best. They ordered the “correct” parts and offered delivery and set up so I waited another 4-6 weeks and they came to do so and only brought one piece. It did not fit. They called their company to explain and they made them talk to me and I told them the same thing. They still didn’t understand that the side rails needed SCREWED into the headboard but the rails we had were like a hook. I had to go into the store and show a picture. They then told me my option was to get the headboard I didn’t like. I told them no and instead of getting the bed with drawers like I wanted I got the headboard I wanted and asked for the dresser that matched the dresser I already got. Since it was the same price they said yes. On the phone they offered the “bunky board?” (the plywood piece for bed to set on) for FREE but in person they said no I have to buy it for an extra 150-250$ so here I am MONTHS later and still no bed set. And now whenever it comes I have to go buy a piece I was told I didn’t even need (then later told I had to buy) for 150-250$

I recently purchased an Ashley chair and a half from the Topeka store, (I live in Lawrence) and I completed the entire transaction over the phone! I'd been searching for almost a year. I had very specific requirements for size and style and finally found what I wanted on the store's website. Sara was my sales person and then she transferred me to Maddie who completed the transaction and scheduled delivery. They had exceptional customer service skills and product knowledge. My chair is beautiful and is the perfect size. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you!

I had the absolute best experience today at the Ashley in Topeka . I drove an hour out to this store today with my mom looking for new furniture for my new home. I was greeted by Joy who was phenomenal she had so much knowledge and was so helpful but wasn’t pushy and gave us our space to look around but checked in with us and answered questions we had. As I was getting to the end of choosing my selections Michael checkin in on us and was a rockstar . He helped us with comparing prices online and in store to make sure we were getting the best deal on the prices for the pieces I chose. The process was so easy and Michael and Joy made the experience just amazing with how incredibly friendly and knowledgeable they both were. I had been to a lot of other furniture stores before coming to Ashley and I just hadn’t found the right pieces . And I think a lot of it was due to hovering and pushy sales people who wouldn’t allow me any room to breathe and just browse and decide what I truly wanted and what would look good in my home. Michael and Joy were the perfect combo of helpful but not pushy just available if they were needed and I was so appreciative of that. I ended up picking out a new couch and ottoman. New dresser and mirror. New king bed. End tables and lamps. A new dining room table and chairs. And new kitchen table and chairs. And I’m so happy with all of the items I found. The quality of the furniture is amazing without breaking the bank. I will definitely be back very soon to continue to purchase items to fit in my new home.

Limited selection of mattresses. They don't carry Beauty Rest, or any No deals, nothing on sale like I saw in a flyer and on TV, and highest prices I've seen in some time... very surprised by that. Only had 1 hybrid bed to look at that had a European/ pillow top and it was several thousand dollars above my budget for a queen. They had some nice furniture, shelving, and decor pieces I saw on the way out with average pricing, but I was only looking to purchase a specific type of mattress set and base. I was greeted upon entry and salesman was friendly. They are limited to store politics, so really nothing they could do about the high mattress prices as they're set by the specific brands and couldn't be altered. Wasn't impressed with options or pricing, and found limited truth among statements given during our visit regarding questions asked. Nothing special stood out that other furniture stores don't have.
I would not recommend ever purchasing from Ashley. They do everything in their power to NOT honor warranties. We even PAID for the extra warranty. Instead they want me to PAY for labor for a service technician to come attempt to fix broken and worn down furniture. Keep in mind this furniture was delivered Sept 29 and I attempted to start the warranty process early February. Not even 6 months old. Every person I have talked to has not been kind or understanding. The furniture is made extremely cheap and has created multiple safety issues for my children. Save your money and go elsewhere!!
Max and Tyrice were so wonderful in helping me pick the perfect love seat. I did not feel "pressured" to purchase anything. When I found the perfect love seat recliner, they gave me a very nice discount. The love seat recliner had everything I wanted including electric reclining, head reclining and lift plus electronic lumbar support. My husband and myself are tall big people. This love seat recliner was so comfortable but also very well built. There was one available in Texas. I got very lucky that I will receive it in approximately 4-6 weeks. This is not the norm. Both Max and Tyrice informed me that most of their furniture is taking 12-24 weeks to be delivered. My experience was a positive one. I would recommend Ashley Home Store to anyone!

These people will STEAL YOUR $, bought a couch back in AUGUST OF 2021 was told it would be 24 wks, now im being told end of march 2 MONTHS OVER WAITING PERIOD, This is ridiculous that they are getting away with STEALING! By far the WORST furniture store I've ever shopped at, I bought a Couch back in August of 2021 was told that it could take up to 20-24 weeks MAX word for word I was told that "it could come sooner than 20-24 weeks, but that it SHOULD NOT take any longer than 24 weeks" This was told to me by one of their workers, fast forward 2 months I was told that it would be in by late October, they called me said end of November, after Mid December I call them and they told me early january, heard NOTHING from them I called them again they are now telling me Middle of March which is OVER 2 MONTHS of what they told me! So yeah go ahead and give them over $2000 dollars if you want NOTHING in return, because apparently they Don't actually sell furniture they just Pretend like they do! Would rate 0 stars if I could.
If you're looking to purchase new furniture I would highly not recommend this store. I bought a few new pieces such as a living room set, bed and a fireplace on June 12. I was new to town therefore I had to purchase the furniture out of state and I contacted Ashley several times to make sure that everything was going well and have information on the delivery and making sure not thing was broke. Jackie the one I signed my contract with. On one of our calls when I was looking for a update status she had alerted me that my fireplace had some damages. At this time I was disappointed but she said she would send me pictures. However Jackie did not send me any pictures, therefore I had no status of my damaged fireplace ! OK a few months go by and I give them a call because it's supposed to be time for delivery. I called and spoke to Jackie to confirm my delivery time once again and update on my furniture since Jackie failed to give me an update on my damaged fireplace. But I had no choice but to trust them. While I was on our call Jackie was speaking to another associate, about possibly not replacing the items that were damaged since it was a fireplace Consol and maybe the fireplace could cover it up, I immediately stop them and said I would need to have those items fixed because I paid full price and I do not need to have items that are damaged. She had informed me that I could call whenever I was ready to have my furniture delivered at this time I was even more disappointed because she failed to tell me the schedule she said I can call anytime but in fact that would not be the case I was now going to be the last delivery and again I have issues with my furniture being damaged. I expressed these feelings towards her and I asked her again to send me the pictures in which I did not receive any. My furniture finally arrives home at 5:30. Jackie gives me a call and asked me if I'm going to except a delivery, I said yes but They need to fix those damaged pieces like she stated. I called Ashley home store again once I saw that 3 shelves were damaged instead of two like they told me however jackie denied to speak to me, one of male associates stated to me. I ask to speak to the manager since she denied my call then the male associate said he did not know the managers name! I am frustrated and said I would call back tomorrow because the furniture arrived so late that the Ashley store was now closed. When I called in the morning I spoke to a different associate and they gave me a number so that I can text to get those items fixed. They said they we get those fixed for me and it is now February and I still have a damage fireplace and Ashley home store stop responding. This is the worst experience I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend not purchasing your furniture here. The customer service is terrible and also if they damage your items they will not repair them. I can't believe that as soon as I said I accepted shipment Jackie denied my call. This just shows that they only care about numbers and not at all about their customers.

We owned an ashley couch for about 12 years, was told the average couch doesn't last 8. So of course I was going to get more furniture. Max at Ashley was very kind, understanding and friendly. She went above and beyond helping us find the right selection, made sure we were happy with our purchase, answered all our questions and even helped us with getting financed when we decided to buy more than originally planned. She even stayed late to make sure everything went through correctly. If you're looking for excellent, knowledgable service and a friendly atmosphere for your furniture needs Ashley furniture is the store! Quality goods and a great staff! Even better? No buyers remorse the next morning!

Went in and ordered a chair off the floor. Eight weeks later I go pick up chair and it wasn't what I ordered. It was labeled incorrectly so the salesperson ordered the wrong thing. Now they are telling me it will be 6 MONTHS!!! I found the exact chair, different Ashley location, for more money. The Topeka store is unwilling to pay ANY amount toward this chair, to make THEIR MISTAKE right! Will not be a customer of this Topeka store OR Furniture Mall of Kansas, both who are owned by the Winter family again.

My boyfriend and I just purchased a living room set! They were very helpful and making sure we got everything we wanted. The didn't have much in stock though so we had to pay for everything even though we aren't sure when it will be in.
The customer service was great however, we are still waiting for a couch that we ordered in January. Wrong color delivered in April. Still no couch in July. Paid $1000 down, making payments on a couch we don't have!
Let me start this off with all the staff is amazing. The new GM was working on a Saturday and super friendly. This store is perfect. If I plan to buy furniture it will be with this store ONLY!

Prices too high and they charge individually for furniture. For example a dining room set was actually $99 a piece for 4 chairs, $109 for the bench, and $349 for the table. This is why we shop long distance
Beyond Disappointed! The attempt to misinform was clearly seen and adressed. You cannot say that you price match when you dont. NFM had them beat by $220 on a dinning room set and their empty promises rendered true colors and intentions. FRAUD.

This company is a joke. My husband ordered my Christmas present from them. Never got it as promised. Then just before Christmas they said it was due to covid. They should have told the truth that they were out if the item so he could have replaced it. Will ever use them again.

Unacceptable, where does my family sit?? Then i told them that they have to give me a couch until my order is ready to delivery and then they offered some couches, but i had to pay $300.000 dolars if I want one specific...that is pathetic!!....actually I deserved a discount or something for all this extra time and all this inconvenience!!!

I love Ashley Furniture some of the staff is extremely stuck up, I know I use to work with them through a sub-contrator! They will accuse one of being dishonest when its not true, then have u terminated. They are also under the same ownership as Furniture Mall Of Kansas. I'll take my business to the Witchia Store they deliver for the same price!

I had went to Ashley to purchase a bed on vac August 31st Was told that they would haul off our old bed and at no time was we told we needed to buy a bag to put our old bed into for them to haul off. So on delivery day Nov 6 th the delivery crew informed us that they couldn’t take our old bed cause we didn’t have a bag we wasn’t able to get our new bed. To say I wasn’t happy was an understatement since we’ve already waited this long. Now we have to go out to the store and purchase a bag for our old bed and wait until the 17 th to get our new bed 😩

Bought an awesome clock ⏰ from these people and put it on my wall in the living room. It is many pieces that are the center of attention in my home, but it serves as a purpose more so than for just show, although I admit it is beautifully made.
A lot of selections
I don’t normally leave negative reviews, and while Ashley’s always makes things right, some retraining is necessary when scheduling for people’s furniture deliveries. Not very satisfied when I talk to Wes on 9/15/20 and he informs me that part of my order is ready but the other part of it is going to take roughly 20 weeks to get here rather than the aforementioned 8-12 weeks. I have no problem with this as I understand there is a pandemic and things are taking much longer. Wes gave the option of having the part of the order that is ready delivered and waiting on the other part, or I could wait for the whole order when the rest of it was ready for it all to be delivered at once. We chose the first option to get the part of our order that was ready. Here’s what I’m upset about: Wes scheduled the delivery for sept 24 as I agreed to since I would be off that day. I asked the time frame that it would be delivered and he said I would receive a call a couple days ahead for this info. Here it is the 22nd and I thought I would call just to see a time frame for delivery on the 24th and Aaron answers. He informs me that the furniture is actually being delivered on the 28th which I never agreed to; and that he doesn’t have a crew in on the 24th. Why was this delivery date picked without my consent when I originally agreed to the 24th? I was not happy with the lack of concern or customer service from Aaron. No apologies for the mishap or anything. We were able to reschedule but it is challenging to find a date to do so where someone would be home to accept the delivery. Update: customer service directed me to call the local customer service number to which Aaron again answered. I asked to be transferred to another member in management, to which he responded that he was management. After expressing my dissatisfaction with the customer service he provided, he suggested that I got the date mixed up (insinuating I lied), and that it could happen to anyone. He then proceeded to retract what he said by saying he’s not trying to call me a liar. He explained that Tony put the 28th in the notes for delivery and that maybe with my busy schedule I got it mixed up (also, I’m pretty sure I talked to Wes on the 15th, not Tony). After I expressed I’m not upset about the dates being rearranged, I’m more upset with the lack of his concern for the situation the first time I spoke with him, he became more remorseful. Needless to say this will be my last purchase from this Ashley’s location.
Walked in the store. Not one employee greeted us or asked if we needed help. We waited for someone to help us with a bed. When we saw someone we tried to get their attention. We walked over to them and found 3 employees standing there watching football instead of helping customers. My husband mentioned since no one wants to help we will just leave. Not one of the employees stopped and asked us what we needed they just watched us walk out the door and co it used to BS with each other over the game

Extremely disappointed and will NEVER go back! Ordered a new living room set in May. Was told it was a 4-6 week wait. That wait then turned into a 6-8 week wait. Was called and told that they would be delivering my furniture Thursday the 23rd. Just to find out they made a mistake and ordered the wrong one. And no one can give me an answer as to what happened. No one ever tried to make it right even tho I was extremely patient and kind. All I received was an “ im sorry” or “we apologize” but unfortunately those don’t fix my furniture situation. I would highly suggest to just take your business elsewhere.
I purchased furniture May 27th (cash) and was told there would 3 to 5 week wait. It is now July 22 and I have NO furniture. I spoke with the manager Sarah who informed me that the last piece of my furniture isn't schedule to ship until Aug 1st. WTF?? Throughout this entire process absolutely no one reached out to us. No email, call, text,or sos. I've called and have been given multiple dates of when it should be here. This is poor customer service practice. Be upfront with your customers. Almost 2 months and no furniture. Be prepared to WAIT.
Ashley furniture has gotten ridiculously expensive. The sales weren't great for a holiday weekend. The showroom itself is well put together and staff were friendly enough. I was looking for an item I found in the online store. Found it on the way out but it was more expensive than online, even with shipping.

We shopped today with my 89 yr old Dad. West was very helpful and everyone was wearing masks correctly. Thanks for helping keep us safe.
Service was great. They are all really nice. Only issue was that we got a much more expensive than planned bed frame and we haven’t even had it a year and it’s broke. We had them put it together for us. While I was taking it a part I noticed there was only four long boards holding up our bed which isn’t enough for a queen size bed and all of the screws used to put the bed together were taped with blue tape once I removed that tape the screws were rusted. Keep in mind we haven’t done anything with the bed frame until the middle support broke. So why were the screws like that? We also got a reclining couch and a recliner from Ashley’s which we haven’t even had a year. The chair is making loud noises and the recliner in the couch is disconnected in some places. We did get a protection plan so we can get a whole new coach but we haven’t even had these things for a year. As nice as the people are who work there... I don’t think we will be getting anymore furniture for them. Especially if everything is falling a part and it hasn’t even that long.

A couple of days prior to delivery, Ashley Furniture rep calls to say one part of the bed was incorrect so they would have to order it from the manufacturer. It would take two months to receive. Ok big problem, I chose the particular set because the sales manager stated it would be available in two to three weeks. I would have chosen a similar set that was 2000 less but would have taken 6-8 weeks to receive. Manager says I will refund delivery charges and 10% off sale if I still wanted the set. Ok, not unreasonable. I took it. Well three months later the bed is to be delivered. First, delivery crew was rude and impatient in the delivery, second the hard ware was not with the bed and one of the drawers to the bed was damaged, they would have to return the following day to assemble the bed and replace the drawer. Next day, the delivery crew brought the wrong part to replace and after assembling one portion of the bed found the foot board defective. They would have to return a 3rd time. I called sales manager, he says let me see what I can do and he would call me back the following day. The sales manager did not call me back. After the customer service rep called to reschedule the assembly, the sales manager stated he will provide an additional 10% off. Not good enough, the delivery crew complained about the work load the entire time they delivered the products, it has taken 4 deliveries to complete the order for 1 bedroom set and the manager seems to be annoyed when asked to provide quality service. I have brought furniture from Ashley Furniture in El Paso TX many times and had good customer service this experience will be the last time I ever buy from this company. I would not recommend this place EVER.

Wish there were more stars to really express how truly happy we have been with our experience here. After a NIGHTMARE experience at a popular furniture store in KC, we returned their furniture and were able to order it directly from the Ashley HomeStore. The manager, Brian, was incredible to work with and was able to get us everything we needed at the same great price. Joe also did a great job helping us get through the details. Delivery came right on time and they even brought cookies! Thank you for renewing our faith that customer service and quality furniture products are not a thing of the past!

April Hanna is amazing
Was not able to find exactly what we were looking for, BUT, Tyrice was excellent to us. We arrived late in the day so time was limited but his knowledge of inventory and his ability to show us what we were looking for was appreciated...especially when compared to other places where the sales people try to sell you everything except what you actually want. Very good experience overall will be back when we have more time.

Kansas Furniture Mart has one of your loveseats listed for a selling price of a hundred dollars more than what you've got it listed at. They're scamming people with your product. Even listed at a hundred dollars more than what you've got it listed for, they're still saying it's at a discount.

My husband and I had a really great experience in shopping at Ashley HomeStore. It was our first time in the store, we already had a long list of criteria of what we were needing in a couch and we were treated by a host, Aaron, as soon as we walked in the door. After a total of approximately 45min spent in the store from finding not one but two couches to replace our very worn out furniture we were very happy with our purchase and are now anxiously waiting for our call when our furniture has arrived! Looking forward to adding them into our home! Aaron was very friendly, attentive and was never pushy in getting us to purchase that day or purchase more than we needed. This made very a positive experience.

First visit during the hunt for a couch was ok. Were advised of their price matching policy, and returned with a specific purchase in mind. Sales person was helpful, but the manager had to be involved to get the price we found elsewhere. He was rude and more than a bit condescending. Lost a sale by way of his own ineptitude. We bought at the furniture mall, same couch, much better price.

Aaron Strother, along with the store manager Brian, provided excellent service to my mother who needed a recliner that would allow her to elevate her feet to reduce swelling. Not only did we get the chair we needed, they made sure it would be delivered on Saturday. I have shopped at other Ashley stores in the area and this one, thanks to Aaron and Brian, is above and beyond the others in their customer service. Thank you!!

The people there are very nice and helpful, I don’t remember who exactly helped us but he was very nice! BUT I ordered my chairs LAST YEAR on December 22nd and its been about a month and a half since! I STILL DONT HAVE MY CHAIRS in and everytime I call them about the chairs they say to wait another week......how about you guys figure out where my chairs are that I already paid for, thanks! I will be going in there physically to speak to someone about getting my order and if they cant speed it up then im demanding a full refund. ****Update**** Im changing my 2 stars to 5 stars. So after my review, someone from Ashely Furniture (sorry I am very bad with names) actually REACHED OUT TO ME and looked into my situation and explained to me what happened and made a positive attempt to give me options and how to fix the situation I was in, and I REALLY APPRECIATE that! Unfortunately they didn’t have full sets of bar stools that came in 4 so I asked for a refund and everything went smoothly! Like I said there was nothing wrong with the customer service, everyone that helped me was very helpful and made sure I was taken care of.
