Loved this store and my experience there was flawless! Nick who helped us was very knowledgeable, design heavy on making sure we chose something we loved and looked very stylish for our home, he was also very charismatic and easy going! Staff was super friendly and helpful 10/10 would buy from there again!

Our saleswoman was so patient with us in our search for the perfect sofa! She walked the whole showroom tirelessly until we found “the one.” Great customer service!

My husband wanted to upgrade his recliner, so on 2/14 we went to shop around at the major furniture stores in town to see what their recliner options were, compare prices, etc. The moment we stepped into Ashley, a sales lady came to us and asked what we were looking for. We told her, and she proceeded to ask for our budget. We told her we weren’t sure- we just wanted to see what the options were, and asked if there was a clearance room to look at. She said clearance was scattered throughout the store, and pressed again for our budget. We again said we weren’t sure, and wanted to look around. She didn’t pick up on our obvious desire to browse in peace, and walked with us through the store, showing us a few chairs we had zero interest in, asking what we thought about the prices. She then led us to the cheapest chair, which in our opinion was no better than the chair my husband already had at home, and with a price tag of $299. We told her it’s pretty much the same as what we had at home and we weren’t interested. She then pressed, “well, if you can do $299 could you do $499?” and proceeded to push us towards a similarly unsatisfactory chair. We said no, we don’t think either of these are much better than what we have at home. The sales lady appeared visibly frustrated, shook her head, shrugged and said “well maybe you should look on Facebook marketplace.” Then, finally, clearly concluding our wallets were a lost cause, she walked off and left us alone. Ironically, we did find a perfectly satisfactory, barely used, better-than-the-chair-he-already-had chair on Facebook marketplace for $100 a few weeks later. It was plain to see the Ashley sales lady thought we didn’t have as much money to spend as other customers, but we actually are just careful shoppers who will spend when there is value- and we didn’t see value in the Ashley chairs. Combine that with a sales lady who can’t read body language, is extremely pushy, and clearly only has dollars in mind, we will always take our business elsewhere.

The delivery process our new chair went about as smooth as it can get. Received several texts from the delivery guys with real time updates. They came early which was fine with us but they kept in constant contact in the event it was going to be a problem. They were in and back out in no time. The whole process was seamless! They did a great job. Wouldn't think twice about using this service again.

This review is specifically about the customer support and warranty side of things, not in-store sales. We purchased our loveseat and sofa set from another retailer, but the furniture is covered under the one-year manufacturer warranty through Ashley Furniture. To say this warranty process has been a mess is an understatement. Every time we contact customer support, we speak with someone different. There is no direct person to communicate with, and it is extremely difficult to find reliable phone numbers or email contacts. The lack of communication has been frustrating from the beginning, and several of the phone interactions came across as slightly rude and dismissive. At times, it honestly feels like the system is designed to make the process as difficult as possible. Customers are responsible for all communication, follow-ups, and appointment scheduling. You are never able to speak with the same representative twice, no one is familiar with your case, and you have to re-explain everything each time. It almost feels intentional, as though the goal is to make the process so frustrating and time-consuming that customers eventually give up or stop pursuing the claim. That is exactly where we have found ourselves. After just 10 months, our reclining loveseat and sofa are already falling apart. What started as one minor issue has turned into at least seven separate problems. For furniture that is not even a year old, that is unacceptable and reflects poor craftsmanship. When the service department came out, we were told that all of the issues fall under the manufacturer warranty. While we understand they are willing to repair the broken parts, we are concerned that the same components will simply fail again, likely after the warranty expires. Given the number of problems in such a short time, we had hoped the company would consider offering store credit or another meaningful resolution instead of repeatedly repairing what feels like defective furniture. To make matters worse, we were never informed that the furniture would need to be picked up and taken back to the service department for repairs. The technician came out, inspected everything, ordered parts which were shipped to our home, and we were told to call back to schedule the repair. Only then were we informed that the furniture would need to be taken to their service department, which is over an hour away from us, and that the process could take several weeks. No one explained this upfront. Had we known, we could have prepared or made arrangements. Instead, we were faced with being without any furniture for an extended period of time. What exactly is a family supposed to sit on in the meantime? What makes this even more disappointing is that we have purchased multiple other pieces from Ashley in the past without issue, and the quality had been decent. Because of that history, we expected more. We expected better communication, better craftsmanship, and a company willing to stand behind its products in a meaningful way. It is safe to say that moving forward, we will not be purchasing any Ashley furniture again, not just because of the product issues, but because of how customer service and customer care are handled. This is a large, profitable company. You would think there would be more integrity and accountability when it comes to taking care of repeat customers who have invested their money into your brand. This entire experience has been frustrating, disorganized, and extremely disappointing.

My fiancé and I had a great experience visiting Ashley's Furniture. Shawn made us feel welcome and not overwhelmed. She was able to walk us through our bed we ended up purchasing and also future furniture we'd like to purchase when we're ready. We enjoyed Shawn's help.

I visited the Ashley Home Store on East Kellogg in Wichita, KS on Friday 2/6/2026 to look for a replacement mattress. This was my first and only stop. Barry and Maddy both assisted me. They were truly interested in learning what my sleep issues were and did their utmost best to help me find the perfect mattress. They started by showing me the exact mattress I specifically wanted to see and test. From there the showed me a few other mattresses based on my interest and needs. They showed me mattresses both below and above the price point of the mattress I asked to see. All of the mattresses we looked at were based on my needs, not what they wanted me to buy. I never felt pressured. This was probably the best customer service that I have ever received at any furniture store in Wichita, KS! I did not intend to buy a mattress at the first furniture store I visited but due to the outstanding service I received I didn’t see any reason to waste my time visiting any other furniture stores in town. I purchased a mattress that was delivered the next day. I definitely recommend Ashley Home Store on East Kellogg in Wichita, KS.

Everyone I came in contact with at Ashley's Store and also the delivery, were amazing! I never felt rushed and they were so respectful. They treated me like I mattered to them, not just a quick buck.They had the "Midwestern" attitude of friendly and warm hearted. If I have furniture needs in the future, I will go right back to Ashley's Furniture Store.

The team at Ashley furniture could not have been more incredible and accommodating during my Necessary and urgent purchase of a new bed. Dylan greeted me with a smile and when he saw the urgency in my request, completely moved into high gear and assisted without skipping a beat due to the urgency of my knee, they even got on the phone with the delivery team and put in a special request to expedite a same-day delivery. I could not have been more grateful to the entire team‘s professionalism and support. All of it happened within 20 minutes. Pretty darn good.

My mom and I visited Ashley yesterday and returned today to shop for living room furniture. We were looking for two new recliners and a couch, and we were immediately greeted by Dylan O. He took the time to show us around, answer our questions, and help us explore our options. We left with photos so we could talk things through and came back today specifically hoping to work with Dylan again. He was just as helpful and attentive, walking us through recliners once more and helping us find the perfect ones. He also guided us in choosing a couch that complemented them beautifully. Dylan was never pushy—he was friendly, patient, and gave us space when my mom and I needed time to discuss our decisions. He made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. Dylan was truly a pleasure to work with, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Nick S was the best, we came in looking specifically for pillows with only a vague idea of what we both wanted. He let us try pillows and even had us use them on the same mattress that we currently have so we get the complete feel for how they'll sleep. It didn't feel pushy or like we were talking to a salesperson at all, it was very easy and low pressure. I'm definitely going to return in the future for other furniture buying endeavors and I'll definitely recommend Ashley to others.

The young men who delivered my furniture were extremely respectful and competent. They knew just what to do in order to prevent any damage to the chairs and also were careful when they brought them into my home. Thank you so much. I know I will enjoy them for a long time to come.

My husband and I went to Ashley’s to find furniture for our new home, but we had no clue where to start. Nick Simon was the employee that helped us and he was so great!! He listened, understood and helped us plan.He was amazing and a great person to be around!

This company makes and sells the absolute worst furniture in USA. I paid $2300 for a sofa and love seat. I also bought the extended warranty for $500. I now have broken down furniture that I will have to replace. They sent a boy/ tech to look at it. He said the cushions were broken down and they would replace them. 30 Minutes after leaving he called my wife and told her they no longer make the cushions. So I am out the cost of the furniture and the extended warranty which they will not honor. This place is a total scam. Absolutely horrible experience. Morally bankrupt from the top down.

Ashley furniture has been my favorite place to shop for many years. I appreciate their quality, style and their staffs professionalism. From their American made furniture to the fun and stylish accessories. Ashley style fits my decor. I live in a hundred year old family farm house that was once a school. Ashley has helped me update it to a comfortable, warm and cozy home. I've used living/dining room glass door units as cabinets and then added open farm style shelves for a warm country kitchen with the original 60's metal cabinets. Our adjustable Tempur-Pedic bed is like sleeping on a cloud. And has come in handy when the hubby had hip and knee replacements. Ashley isn't all country, it's modern, eclectic and stylish. From theater seating, bar accessories to entire kids rooms or a whole house, including bedding and paintings on the wall. Or, just a mattress or a centerpiece you've been looking for. Stop in, they may supprise you with all they have to offer.

I went with a specific set of living room furniture in mind, it wasn't comfortable at all. My husband found a recliner he liked that had a reclining sofa and loveseat. Margo was great help and got the delivery set up also. The delivery team was awesome, even in the rain.

Called in to the Store and was helped by Nick and I felt he went out of his way to assist me since I can’t get in a vehicle since I recently had back surgery. He was very knowledgeable in helping me and I greatly appreciate the help he provided in getting the bed i needed

My husband and I are very upset about the way they tried to MAKE us buy the warranty. We told our salesgirl at least 10 times NO. then the store manager came over and brow beat us for 15 minutes while we kept telling her no another 10 times. We almost left without buying anything. We really like our saleslady Bo. You need to stop this practice. Our home is full of Ashley furniture but we won’t be back

I’ve only purchased my furniture from Ashley the past 15 or so years. Always a good experience. Zero complaints from this guy. (Except blowing through my kids inheritance, guess little Joey jr is getting a recliner when I’m gone).

Went in looking for new mattress, with some knowledge and research on temperpedic, but after talking with Nick S. We learned a lot more and was able to make a well educated decision. Nick spent well over a hour with us as we tested many different beds and pillows. Also same day delivery is awesome!

Bought the love your mattress plan with my mattress- $799 - the plan shared with me and positioned as coming with freebies.. turns out there are different levels to this plan and I paid for these “freebies.” I feel like I was had, could have gotten the same coverage for my mattress for $500 less. Really gives me a sour feeling. I have purchased many items and have been happy with almost all of my other purchases, but it takes one bad experience.. so giving 2 stars instead of 1.

We were looking for a new recliner. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by Margo. We let her know what we were looking for and she showed us several different options as well as two seater options that were available. She was extremely patient and very personable with us while we made up our minds. Your store was our first stop and we found what we wanted at a good price. We were also pleased with the protection plan we were able to purchase. The one issue we had was how much the delivery fee cost us. We live less than 30 miles from the store however, the cost to deliver was $160. That seems like more than it should be to us but we didn’t have another option to get it to our home. Otherwise, it was a great interaction. We seem to have good luck finding good quality items there and what we want.

Ashley Furniture had what we were looking for again and we are pleased with our purchase. The sales agent, Margo, is very helpful and knowledgeable. Her manager is very friendly and customer service focused. Store sent frequent updates on back order status and of delivery driver. One item arrived with a minor flaw; however, Jason in customer service very professionally and quickly resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Delivery drivers were professional and ensured item was placed right where I wanted it and tested mechanical components. I’ve done business with Ashley Furniture on East Kellogg at least three times since 2019 and have been happy every time.

My wife and I went in to buy a dresser for our nursery. With the baby almost here and me traveling for work quite a bit we asked if the dresser would be pre assembled. We were told by the salesperson that this dresser is pre assembled and all we would need to do is screw the feet on. Once we picked up the dresser it was not pre assembled and has “quite a few steps to set it up” (salesman’s words). When I called and asked if we could return it and purchase the delivery/assembly option (which is an extra $160) the salesman let me know that apparently this dresser is a “special order” and isn’t allowed to be returned. They also don’t have any way of making this situation right except offering a whopping $23 off the price. When you make a mistake you should be able to come up with a solution for the problem. Terrible customer service.

I worked with Dan to get new furniture for my Dad as we were moving him into Assisted Living. Not only was he knowledgeable about helping in our selection of pieces but he also was understanding of the situation due to his own Fathers experience in AL. He went above and beyond to make sure all that we needed was in stock so their was no delay in delivery, helped me think of items he would need in his new home, and kept us at the right budget point. I will always be asking for Dan from now on when buying from Ashley Furniture!! My Dads place looks great and he is comfortable with his new furniture during a time of a hard transition in life! Great customer service Margot was an awesome sales representative. I just wish they would have started off telling me the different ways of delivery.There is a delivery fee for a $160 and then there's a drop off fee of $60 I was never told about the drop off fee until I told her I would come back another day and then she told me about the drop off fee of $60. I saved myself a $100.

They would rate a five if they had available inventory to ship. Because I needed something in stock I was extremely limited in choices and no furniture group was available 100%. Not a problem if you have 3-4 weeks to wait.

I think you have to expect the car salesman type persona to some degree but when I asked for time to wonder and sit on my own, JJ was the most understanding of that. Ashley's entire team are fantastic. As a disabled senior with a seating emergency and unable to visit the store in person. I called late in the day on Friday Dan S was so helpful I explained what I was wanting gave him some model names for the Ashley website and he started texting me pics of in stock items. The one I liked the best was in stock and could be delivered by Tuesday. Since I was an existing customer the folks in the office were able to finalize the sale quickly and hassle free. The moment I walked in the store I was greeted with a smile by Mike, and he was quick to ask me how he could help. I explained that I used their online design services to style my living room, and I was there to look at the couch before I purchased it online. I looked at a couch, and I was able to see the coffee table, end table, and the swivel chair I wanted! He was then able to order everything for me on the spot! I didn't have to do any ordering online like I thought. Mike made this experience wonderful! He was so friendly and knowledgeable. What a joy everyone was that I encountered in the store! Many thanks to Georgia for her explanation of the furniture protection plan. She was very helpful when presented with questions.

Madison was great, and she was very understanding when I needed sometime to mull over my decision. I was able to decide what I wanted to do and ordered my furniture which was all in stock. I went in on a Saturday March 22nd, and I have my furniture today March 25th. The delivery crew was excellent, and I thank them for saving my back.

We had a great shopping experience with Maddy at Ashley. She answered all the questions we asked and knew the details of each item we looked at. She heard what we wanted and worked diligently to locate items we might like. She was professional but not pushy as some sales persons are. The prices were reasonable and the merchandise we looked at appeared to be of very good quality. We purchased two items that will be delivered tomorrow. Whenever we need furniture of any kind in the future, we will definitely head to Ashley.

Amazing experience! I did not want to exchange my new mattress. But I know i had to. Margo helped me and she was amazing! She was so patient and kind. She was very informative. I will use her again! The delivery team who' head guy was Joshua was very kind as well. They delivered and set it up for me and made sure I was happy with everything before they left. Weather you buy from Ashley and pick up yourself or have things delivered, you are in great hands! See Margo or Cambridge at the east location and just know your delivery will go well!

I bought patio furniture about 3 years ago from Ashley Furniture store in Wichita, Ks... and have enjoyed the patio furniture during this time, but have not used the fire pit. When we decided this year to use the fire pit, we found that it was not working properly. I called and spoke with Scott,(the store manager) and explained the situation. He was very attentive, helpful, kind, caring and eager to help in any way he could. He was willing to go that extra mile. Even to the point of helping pay for the cost of getting the fire pit working!!! Scott, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and willingness to help get my issue resolved!!!! I was welcomed by the most gracious and attractive young man, Michael. He listened to me attractively as I told him what I was looking for. I told him about finding the couch I wanted to look at on line and my desire to see what it looked like and to sit on it. The first sofa was really nice then he showed me another that was perfect. I hadn't planned on purchasing, but the price with delivery and 5yr protection plan was less than what I had expected to pay. When I told him I wasn't in a great hurry he said if I could wait 4 to 6 weeks, I could put a down-payment and the balance wouldn't be due till delivery. Checking out was so simple and the young lady was kind and offered to help me to my car. I walk with a cane and my foot is in a heavy walking boot. Michael made sure my walk around the store was safe. I would recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone in need to go there and ask for Michael. He will listen to your needs and show you exactly what you are looking for.
