We purchased an outdoor furniture set from Ashley. Our sales person was Caden Courter. He’d did a great job. He knew his product very well and was able to provide me with additional information quickly when I requested it. He was very positive, polite and prepared to answer our questions and to address our needs. A very good experience.

Great store with great associates! We had a small misunderstanding on an item there and they did a great job helping us out and resolving our issue:) the prices are very reasonable and the product has great quality. Over all very friendly staff making an easy shopping experience.

Always super friendly and helpful, Caden helped us get a new mattress for our daughter and made the entire experience very enjoyable. He was knowledgeable about the products and even showed us a couple mattresses for when we are ready to upgrade ours.

Caden was an awesome young man of 19 years old who helped us order our custom sectional. Even though they didn’t have any pieces of that model on display, he was able to show us better pictures of the upholstery. This helped us make our decision. He was so genuine and polite, even when we went past closing time. Caden is an asset to the Ashley West team. The manager even came to check that we were ok. Love Ashley’s quality. We are replacing a nearly 17 year old Ashley sectional and loveseat we gave to our daughter when she moved out. It is still in great condition too! We will definitely be back soon for more furniture upgrades.

Had a wonderful experience today at Ashley West thanks to Caden Courter! My daughter has outgrown her current furniture in her bedroom, so we stopped in to see what we could find to give her a more mature set. Caden was helpful, and had an understanding of what my daughter may want vs what I should be spending. He directed her straight to what was on sale and what he thought she might like. She did a mix and match, but Caden did a great job helping her find a good mix that still matches enough to not look out of place! So thankful for him and all of his help. Also, thank you for entertaining my kiddo during all of that. She had a lot of fun! Love this location, and highly recommend them! Ask for Caden :)

Tracy was phenomenal! We went in looking to buy a new mattress set for my 90 year old Grandmother. Tracy was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. She even came back another day on her day off to help us. Highly recommend Ashley Furniture and working with her!

My wife and I came in shopping for a new bedroom set as a present to ourselves for our anniversary and Dee made us feel right at home. She was very kind and had no issue with me giving every single mattress for a test ride LOL It was difficult to find one that would fit me due to the fact I have a hurt back due to an old sports injury. She was patient and entertained my yapping about my kids and grandkids LOL she treated us like family and we found the right mattress and I never knew I could sleep without pain. She taught us about how a pillow affects your neck and back, NEWS TO ME LOL, and we ended up making our decision not feeling pressured or anything . Highly recommend seeing her and we will be again!

I went in to buy a couch specific for holding up well in a home daycare. I needed one small enough that it wouldn’t take up too much space and take away from our play area. Dee worked with me measuring and finding the right fabric, color, and size to fit my needs. She was very knowledgeable and professional. She also knew when to let me walk around and discover on my own. Pushy sales people will push away my business. She had the perfect balance of guiding me yet letting me explore my options. I have been so impressed with this store! I have their furniture in every room of my house. I usually get the furniture protection as well and it's worth it. I have an end table that I spilled fingernail polish remover on which took off the finish in a small area... and the insurance company told me to keep while they also gave me a brand new one. I had a sofa for close to five years when my granddaughters were bouncing on it roughly and made something come loose. Once again the insurance company told me to keep the sofa and that they would send me a check for slightly less than purchase price, replace it with the same sofa, or give me a reselection credit in the store for the amount I paid for the item. That's the kind of customer service that means a lot. I will continue to purchase my household items there. I love the selection and the staff are very kind and easy-going. I will add that people putting bad reviews probably aren't buying the highest quality items. Just like all stores, there are levels of quality. If you're looking for the cheapest price tag, you'll probably end up with subpar craftsmanship. Ashley carries low, middle, and high quality items. I've always went with the middle and high end items and have never been disappointed.

Great customer service and on time great products as well.

I was lied to by customer service—changed all of my plans accordingly to what they told me! Then as I am checking out nothing was what was told to me! Now they are saying oops, the customer service had done some investigating and they were wrong! I bought my entire house of furniture. I understand the quality is not the greatest so I had bought the warranty. Being treated like this was my worst shopping experience in my life. In fact the manager most certainly has very little people skills and I imagine he will not last long in this role. Instead of trying to resolve , he simply walked away—didn’t even apologize.

We were looking for pictures and decor. Found a huge beautiful picture at closing time it was delivered to our home. The young man who delivered it was very pleasant and patient as I opened the box to make sure the picture was not damaged. I appreciated his kindness and he did not make me feel like as if I was causing him to be delayed.

We had a problem when completing the purchase because the terms quoted by the sales person were not the same as what was required. It seems that the company had changed some offers and not updated their written materials used by the sales force. Although not the fault of the sales staff, it did cause a delay in purchasing and a bit more money up front. The manager apologized profusely and we went ahead with the sale but found the situation uncomfortable and annoying. Check your facts before buying. The company changes terms constantly!

When the mattress was delivered, the delivery company wouldn't put the base together and my son-in-law had to do it. Then when the frame was put together it was done wrong. Stripped half the heads on the screws and didn't have the slates. It has been 2 weeks since I was told the frame will be exchanged. I had to call to find this information out.

Our sales rep (Michael) was perfect, he was pleasant to talk to and continued support through our selection of furniture.

Terrible experience with this store. Went and bought a table on a Monday and they said they could do a Friday delivery so I said okay what time, they said the delivery team with give you a call on Thursday to set up a time that’s convenient for you. Thursday come’s and I get a call from Kendall, I ask if he can deliver after 5pm because no one will be home until I get off work. He says he can’t, latest he can do is 3:30 pm, I said I don’t think I can make that work, he says if you would like to reschedule there will be a $150 fee. I said fine I will make 3:30 work, I’ll leave work early. Today is Friday, I get a call around 12:30 saying his schedule is running early he will be by to drop it off in 20 minutes. Um what? You want to charge me $150 to reschedule because you couldn’t deliver after 5pm, so I had to change my schedule to leave work early because it’s convenient for him and now I’m having to change it again because again it’s convenient for him?? Ridiculous. They offer free delivery in town, but there’s a catch, they will deliver when they want not when you want.

I highly recommend Ashley Furniture in west Wichita. We worked with Nate and he was great. He listened to us, took the time to see what we were trying to do with our basement remodel and finally guided us through a major furniture investment. We couldn’t be happier.

The delivery team went way above and beyond my expectations! They were able to deliver my bed a bit earlier than I anticipated and since I had a small window of time today it worked out well. That was until they discovered that there were some parts missing from the bed. They had to finish the next delivery, go back to the warehouse to get the parts and then they drove their personal vehicle to get back to me quick enough so I wouldn’t be late. The only thing I’m upset about is I didn’t grab their names to truly give them the recognition they deserve. The sales process with Debbie Achey at the 21st and Maize location was smooth as always. She helped me decide what to buy without any pressure. She had a wealth of knowledge to answer all of my silly questions. I can’t think of a better place to buy furniture in Wichita!

What a frustrating experience! We called first to make sure they had some specific things in stock before we came, as we needed items today. She assured me that I would be happy with their selections. We got there, and she immediately showed me the opposite of what I had asked for. We finally moved on to another item we were looking for, only to be upsold out of the price range we wanted. Then she didn't put our order in in time, so we missed the delivery time. We were under a timeline, which we shared several times, and yet she continued to try to sell us stuff. An hour later, once we knew our order hadn't been put in in time, we left, went to Mattress Hub, got the exact things we needed with no up selling and a better price, and were out the door in 30 minutes so we could get ready for our family gathering. Ashley Furniture lost our sale today and in the future. It should not have been that stressful, especially when we called ahead of time. Misinformation, sales tactics and ultimate time wasted made this shopping experience beyond frustrating. Mattress Hub, however, was a fantastic, stress-free shopping experience!

I'm not one to write these reviews, but we recently purchased a bed from Ashley Furniture and have had a not so great experience working with them. We ordered a bed to be delivered through the Black Friday deals and had to wait a couple weeks for it to be delivered, no big deal. When we got the bed, it was damaged. Frustrating, but these things happen, and luckily Ashley is willing to send us a replacement for free. However, this is where our experience turns negative. In a text conversation with the store confirming when our new delivery time would be, we asked for Wednesday. Today we received a notification text about our delivery occuring tomorrow on a Tuesday. We didn't want Tuesday as it is a busy day of the week for my wife and I, and a huge inconvience for either of us to take time off work on this day that causes problems. When we called to sort this out, we were basically told: "Sorry, we can't reschedule without asking for a $150+ rescheduling fee." We have it in writing that we asked for Wednesday and that this is a clerical mistake on Ashley Furniture, yet we're expected to still pay a fee in this situation? We decided to make tomorrow work despite the inconvience as we didn't want to pay that high of a fee. Really disappointed that the store put us in this position for an error on their end.

The bed king size was in stock the side table were not! That’s ok our house at that time was not Ready this was last year. I’m so disappointed because we still have not received our side tables. I’ve call several time and get the same answer (. There expected to be in the end of Jan the middle of Feb then March now end of April first of May). What Year are we talking about? Awesome selection and deals

My family and I have been shopping furnitures around town and even in Kansas City. But we have never had a bad experience at all. I purchased dining table set and accent chair about 2 weeks ago.i paid $129 for delivery. When they text me and set up delivery date and time and I couldn’t make it . i ask them to reschedule and they said they will charge for rescheduling but they would waive that fee for me one time. But I work 2nd shift and I come to work at 3pm everyday. I ask them I’m free any time from the morning until 3pm so they could deliver to me any date before 3pm. It doesn’t matter what date. I can wait until they can arrange to deliver before 3pm. I can wait a month or 2 months for them to reschedule. It doesn’t matter to me at all. because I’m not in hurry. They said there is no way to deliver before 3pm. . I don’t really know what time they start delivering furnitures to customers everyday??? I think they start delivering at 3pm everyday 😂. Maybe I just spent only $3300 so that’s small for them. Haverty’s ,slumberland, furnitures mart or ikea …. Other stores in town they always try to do the best that they can. First time ever have a bad experience like this. Never shop again with them anymore. I had to cancel my orders.

Very disappointed with the after care and customer service once we purchased our sectional. The fabric is wearing already after a few months and Ashley Homestore West said nothing they can do, just have to deal with. Disappointed is an understatement!!!

First & last time buyer!! Their delivery team ripped my new furniture on delivery because they were mad. Now I'm getting the runaround! Their solution is to re-appholster that piece with no additional guarantees. No full replacement because there is no other piece in all of the USA to find! Yea right! These people don't care! Your furniture WILL NEVER ARRIVE. They will quote you 8-12 weeks though. Twenty weeks later and we get yet another answer of "it'll be at the end of month." Problem is, they are just blowing smoke because they don't even know. But come the end of that month, you'll hear the same line again, "it'll be in at the end of the month." Meanwhile, you've forked out money for furniture you don't have and can't use. Go somewhere else. You'll probably get it faster and you'll probably get more help.

Do not get the insurance there. Was told that if something happens it would be replaced. Today finding out that the sales reps don’t fully understand the insurance( this statement came from an Ashley’s furniture customer service rep). If you get it have fun going through the process.

We went to Ashley today to purchase a sectional for our basement living room. This had proved to be a difficult task given the considerations of size, ability to get the couch down the stairs and pairing this with a piece that we love. However, Ashley HomeStore came through! We were helped by Cambria who was absolutely amazing. She walked us through the store taking all of our considerations into account to help us find a perfect sectional!

Bailey Rose is the Best Employee to work with at the Ashley Furniture Store West. She reaches out, follows thru, and is extremely friendly to work with in all your furniture needs.

20 weeks to recieve the remainder of our furniture. Delayed on deliveries, and then delivery guys refused to bring the furniture into the house and to the basement due to the pandemic. After i had a conversation with management to have this done. They ended up doing it but wouldnt assemble it. Took 30 minutes of argument and calls to even get it downstairs. Worst experience ive ever had with any retailer.

The customer service is horrible....We have honestly spent over $10,000 worth of furniture from ashley furniture looks nice when you buy it and get it home it falls apart quality of furniture is horrendous...service plans they sell are a joke takes forever...and half of time they say its not covered...outdoor furniture is ruined and its not covered.. on my third set of couches from them...its been 2 months from buying my last set of anything from them...and they say it will be 2 more months before I get It

I purchased a dining room table with 4 chairs and a bench for over $400.00 in late February 2020. That was the sale price. The regular price was over $700.00. About 2 months later, one of the chairs legs fell off. About 5 months after purchasing, chair #2 is starting to fall apart. This happened through normal, regular use. I'm very dissatisfied and beginning to wonder about Ashley's quality.

Best furniture buying experience!

Prices were reasonable in a very large selection I was surprised with. Nathan the young man that helped me was very knowledgeable and good at his job or his age! Would definitely recommend you asking for him to show you around for something you want.

I am highly disappointed with the quality of the furniture. And service. We spent 5,000 dollars on a new bedroom set, living room set, and dining room table about 3 years ago. We are still paying on the furniture. Only to have consistent concerns since day one. For instance, my bedroom dresser with mirror. I have not been able to use my mirror, it sits in storage because we do not have the bolts and screws. We have requested these pieces many times, in which we were told the pieces would be coming by mail. Next, our bed frame fell apart two weeks after it was installed. They came out to fix it. It was repaired but still felt weird. Today, it completely collapsed again. We were shocked to find that the top part of the frame was held together with only 2 screws. Although, it required 5 on each side. Luckily, my toddler was not on it when it happened. And that’s not all, our living room furniture is coming apart at the seams in two places. Someone came out to replace the piece on the recliner, but was not friendly to say the least. The dining room table...the legs on the chairs are all falling apart. The only people that sit at the table are my children and they are all under 60 lbs. So it’s definitely not a weight issue. Either the furniture was not screwed together correctly or it’s just cheaply made. And yes we did have warranties on all pieces. Extended warranties. Yet, we are left with poor quality furniture that we can’t even use. I will never buy Ashley Furniture again.

After spending a day of stress trying to look for a new bedroom set that me and my partner liked for the looks and comfort we finally found the perfect match here. The amount of deals and selections were amazing. It was a lot for us to handle. Thankfully a worker named Dee was extremely helpful showing us all of the best options. She helped boil our choices down and gave us plenty of great financial options as well. We bought a huge bedroom set with a bed frame, mattress, 2 night stands, a dresser , and a chest all for just a lil over 1,700. Such an amazing deal. Easy to put together, with same day pickup! I called earlier in the day to get some info on bed frames I found on their website, Robert was so patient with me over the phone and even helped me navigate different products. I decided to go in store and Robert was still there and showed me around the showroom. He asked all the right questions to right fit me in to what I was interested in and ultimately found the perfect combo of furniture for my taste. It can be stressful to spend a lump sum of money all at once but Robert made the experience less stressful and fun at the same time. Disappointed the product we purchased wasn't in stock. Have to wait 8 weeks. Rec'd a call from the store. Item will be delivered Monday. My expectation are very high when an item is over several grand. Don't like to wait!

Avoid both Ashley Furniture locations. The furniture is incredibly low quality and the cost for it is ridiculously high. The couch we purchased from them starting sagging on one side less than a month after we purchased it. We bought a protection plan on the couch they said we could use to replace it but then we would be out the $200 for the protection plan and they only offer to replace the couch with the same model or give you store credit to get another poor quality and repeat the same cycle again. I advise you to choose another furniture store with decent prices and furniture that won't fall apart on the way home.

Have bought furniture from them a few times now. Previously, had an issue with a chair being delivered broken and they replaced it free of charge. Service is always been very good. We had Dee last time who was patient and very good at finding our specific requests. Were quick on delivery and their new care plan is worth asking the details about.

I called the store in advance for a bedroom set to see if was in stock, they tell me yes and when I got there they try to sell me some other stuff. I was there for 2 hours and when I went to pay they tell me that while the sales guy was trying to sell me other stuff someone else got the bedroom set I wanted. This store is a joke. However I went to the store in the East and I explained what happened to me at the west location they were surprised they said they have the same distribution center. However the east location was able to get me what I wanted. So no excuses... Whenever you want to help a customer you will do anything to do it. Plus when I first put a step into the store I knew I wanted that bedroom set. I was making my mind on other items, not on a bedroom set you tell me I could pick up that day.

Went in a few weeks ago and was stalked by a sales lady so badly me and my fiancé almost didn’t go back there but we decided to give it one last try since they had some amazing Fourth of July sales. We went in yesterday and were greeted by a young gentleman named Nathan who was incredibly friendly and easy to talk with and was not pushy at all. Needless to say we left over an hour later with a brand new bedroom set and could not be more pleased and excited about it! Would absolutely recommend going in and asking for Nathan in the Wichita location, he will be incredibly helpful and you know from minute one he’s there to help find you what you want, not sell you something to make money off commission!

After purchasing a complete bed set with a mattress from them the mattress fell apart several times due to the glue not holding the memorial foam together after less than a year, happened again less than 6months of use. We had to spend an additional $400 the third time because they no longer made the model of bed needing replaced. Now when using their insurance company Montage for a large sectional purchased there, it’s taken them a month 4/13-5/13 to finally have something done. I had to reach out for every single update and I was never called back when told they would. I feel as though neither the customer service staff nor montage themselves care about their customers experience.

Today it has been a week haven’t heard anything about our couch arriving yet, had I it might have been 5 stars. Thanks for working with me. Appreciated your time.

Took them 7 weeks to get my couch & Loveseat in. Then it took them 3 days to deliver my stuff. Then it had cuts in the leather and stuff wrong with the furniture. And 2 weeks later they still haven't fixed my stuff. And they don't care.

This is the second time we’ve gone to Ashley furniture very pleased with their customer service As well as their selections and prices recommend you check them out if you’re looking for furniture at a good price and good quality

I went to Ashley Homestore on 21st and Maize to look at some new furniture. I had been to several furniture stores. Peter greeted me when I walked in and helped me find what I had in mind. He worked with me for 2 days to get the right combination. He moved furniture together from one end of the store to another and had it all set up to show my husband when I brought him in to make make the final purchase. He was amazing!!! We will be going back for our bedroom furniture soon. They also recognized my husband being a veteran and gave him a 5% Military discount and thanked him for his service. I highly recommend Ashley Homestore and I couldn’t have asked for a better salesman than Peter.

Loved working with Dee. We went in and looked around first. She listened to what we were looking for and showed us around. We fell in love with a set. Needed some time to think, she was no pressure. Came back a week later looking for her to buy that set. Can’t wait for delivery.

The furniture from here was reasonably priced and looks nice. However, do NOT let them talk you into buying their protection plans. the Ashley sales people told us that plan would cover pretty much anything that could go wrong. However, the plan is through a separate company and that company refused to do anything about any of the issues on any of our furniture pieces. Their response was as follows: "The information provided to us indicates that the problem reported occurred during the delivery of this item to your home, or was a result of damage that occurred while the Covered Product was being moved from one location to another location. The terms and conditions of your protection plan exclude damage that occurs during delivery or transit.  The information provided to us indicates that your problem is caused by general wear of your Covered Product, and is not the result of a structural breakdown or accidental damage. Your protection plan does not cover wear-related issues, such as fading, wear, seam separation, stress tears, loss of foam resiliency, pilling or fraying of fabric; leather or vinyl color loss or cracking and peeling, splits on bi-cast leather, and scratches, dents or chips that do not penetrate the finish or expose the substrate."

I came into the store not knowing exactly what i wanted. Ann greeted me, and when i asked for some time to look around she was very considerate. Once i found what i wanted she was more than accommodating, as well was the manager, Kyle. I often walk out of furniture stores due to pushy salesmen. I recommend this store and will come back for any future purchases.

It was so nice working with Bill L.! We were furnishing two rooms and he did a great job of helping us find everything we wanted. Also, the young lady who took care of payment was both polite and helpful and answered all my questions. We had a stress-free day of shopping!

Amazing experience at this location. Tyler worked with me and really tried to understand my needs and what I was looking for. He was then able to match me up with several different recliner options. After finding one I liked, I went to a couple other places. Didn’t get the same amazing customer service or find a recliner I liked. Ultimately I returned to Ashley Furniture and purchased the recliner I liked from Tyler. He was very professional and hands down one of the best sales reps I have ever delt with. He deserves a raise or something.

The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. We narrowed our choices very quickly and found what we wanted within 30 minutes. I'm very happy with my purchase and will be returning in the future.

We came in on a Saturday that happen to be the last day of a 30% off sale. We found exactly what we were looking for amd for less than we expected. Tyler was a great help and didn't pressure us. He did a great job! I would definitely go back.

Table started to get white showing after peeling, they sent out a guy with paint pins to repair and it seemed like a joke, a year later it got so bad i bought a new table from a competitor. Ive spent over 10k at Ashley over the years, everthing else has held up....when my parents moved here we did not take them there, they spent 17k somewhere else. Do real repairs when under coverage or replace the items.

Bought furniture and pit a warranty on it. Have been fighting it. I even proved it was a rip not a hole. Literally store won't help and warranty company stopped calling and emailing. Will never get a warranty again and will give hard thought to shopping ashley
