We visited the Ashley store for the first time in Bowling Green. We just moved here and were looking for some furniture for our bonus room. Braden was a great help. He showed us exactly what we asked for and was attentive and polite. He allowed us shop while we made some decisions all without hovering on top of us. I don’t care for salespeople that are stuck to us like glue. Thank you for making us feel welcome and we look forward to doing business when we are in the market for more furniture.

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had purchasing furniture. First, I was never told of a price difference between ordering online and franchise store. It was at around $200 difference on each furniture piece. Then, I told them I had a budget for a mattress and that was not respected at all. Want from wanting a mattress of around $500 to wanting me to get a bundle of $4500 and having my husband cosign it. On top of that, when they delivered the bedroom set, the guys were in a rush and set up everything quick and we had to go back and tighten the entire bed frame. They said they will be back in an hour to pick up our old mattress, they never came back. A week later another person came by and said he won't take our old mattress because it wasn't covered in plastic.....? I thought when you purchase a new mattress and pay for the removal of the old one, that is their job to do so, no? 2 weeks later we're still witing for them to pick it up and still no news. I would stay away from this place, there are a lot of other great furniture stores out there in BG.
Do not shop at Ashley furniture they sold us a used couch supposed to be brand new. They will not even talk to us. Not good service at all.
Great Customer Service and Great deals. Bowling green store has a variety of different options and Johnny the manager was nice and helpful. 10/10 store would buy from again.

It was okay for the experience of purchase in store, but the delivery fee is way too high at least for us (couch for $399 and clearance of dining table set for $160. Even though we bought all of them in store at the same time, they charged twice for the delivery fee). The delivery was not good as one item was broken during the shipping. The Ashley declined to fix it because it is a clearance item, even though the damage was made during the shipping. It makes no sense to us.

My husband and I made four thorough trips to Ashley—among other stores in town—in search of a perfect pair of sofas to upgrade our living room. We had no fewer than 100 questions and concerns that Maria patiently and graciously assisted with during our short-term residence at the Ashley store during Black Friday weekend. Many thanks to Maria and the rest of the crew. I think we nailed it.
We unfortunately got Maria as our sales person. She’s shorter with blonde hair. We were interested in several pieces but after we seemed uninterested in one piece she stood up and walks away from us with no thank you and no further help on anything else. Her tone and facial expression screamed she was burned out and did not want to help us. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a store. She also walked away from us after seeing us looking at a discounted piece of furniture as if it wasn’t expensive enough for her to sale. If you come to this store I do not recommend working with Maria. Very rude very unprofessional
Absolutely terrible customer service. Would rate lower than 1 star if possible. Ordered furniture and it came in damaged. Reported the damage immediately and they said it wasn’t replaceable because the furniture was bought “as is”. In the store it wasn’t damaged and was signed for. Received it damaged and they refuse to replace it due to it being “signed for as is”. Do not use this company. They are crooks. I won’t make the same mistake again. If you use them, good luck.
Braden is always the best salesman to work with. This is our third time working with him and it was so seamless and quick. He always works with us and makes sure we’re taken care of. Will definitely be back to buy from him again!

This store and company in general is completely inept and has no idea of what they're doing regarding customer service. They use bait-and-switch tactics here. Pay a little more and buy locally. I'll never make that mistake again. I've been dealing with them for over three months since I purchased my furniture and have had nothing but problems since. Do. Not. Buy. Here.
Delivery cost is absolutely ridiculous!!@! $300!!! I will not shop at Ashley Furniture again because of it. This alone ruined the experience. If you're a veteran senior citizen go elsewhere, $300 is price gouging at its finest, 75% of my "black friday" discount went for delivery.
I used to work here (2 years). This place is a scam, they will lie to you about delivery dates, they take advantage of the customer, they take advantage of the workers too! This company at the backend is a cult sales company, they release their own books and give it to every employee as a gift so it adds to book "sales" lol. They make you work long hours on holidays, the pay is great if you know how to sell (which i do) but you're working 55 hours a week most of which is un paid. Posting cause I found out most of the people I like are gone.

Do NOT buy things from Ashley Furniture if you ever want something to be fixed if/ when it breaks. We have been fighting with them for about 2 years now to get our couch fixed because they cannot do their job! Ordered a couch that was DELIVERED BROKEN. Exchanged it for something else and these also broke within MONTHS. Finally got someone to fix it last year, and here we are again with the same problem. This time they say we have to PAY to fix them even though we have a protection plan. The people at the store are nice and try to help but there is only so much they can do, I get that. But if you have to call the service department, expect to be told to call 100 different people, refusal to transfer to a supervisor, refusal to help in general other than to tell you they can't help. Apparently the protection plan they convince you to get doesn't cover things actually broken! WORST PLACE YOU COULD GET FURNITURE FROM!
**** WARNING **** Never Buy Anything Made By Ashley Furniture and Never Buy Furniture From Ashley. They use a Bait & Switch Scam to deliver Junk. I bought furniture from Ashley Homestore (AHS) which is owned by Dufresne Spencer Group (DSG). As you know, I paid good money for New, Undamaged Furniture. DSG showed up to deliver the furniture. I thought they were delivering what I ordered. Instead they ran a Bait & Switch Scam, by bringing in Broken Furniture and basically running out, leaving me with their damaged and broken furniture. They continued to victimize me by refusing to Refund my money. They Demand and Strong-Arm you to repair what was supposed to be delivered in new and undamaged condition. I didn't pay for New Furniture, so Dufresne Spencer Group, could send me Broken Junk and force me to repair it. Dufresne Spencer Group dba Ashley Homestore runs this Scam Nationwide, at all their locations. Do your Research and see the truth. It's not just Dufresne Spencer Group it is actually all of Ashley Furniture is Junk, made in Vietnam, China and other locations, with Cheap Materials and Cheap Quality Manufacturing. Check the BBB, YELP, Google, TrustPilot and FB Group Ashley Furniture Homestore Complaints. Never Buy Anything Made By Ashley Furniture. The FTC, CFPB, AG and other agencies are starting to see the extent of Ashley Furniture Scams and Fraudulent Business Practices. They are doing this to thousands of customers. By the Way...The Extended Warranty Is a Scam, for how they sell it. ! Still fighting after 2 years to get my money back. Kitchen table finish started coming off after 2 months and continues. Don't let them cross your threshold when deliver, because it is yours and they will only "repair" your new furniture. When I went to the store to demand a refund and stood outside talking to customers, they called the police and had me removed! We want to thank Maria Harris (salesperson) for reading our review and responding to us. As soon as she saw we had issues with customer service, she and her manager personally came to our house to make it right. Can’t say enough good things about her and her manager. Word of advice, choose 5 on the menu should you have an issue with an order, even though 5 is to place a new order and not to address issues with existing order. This will put you through to the store and hopefully your sales person. Customer service call center is a disaster for this store and should be reorganized with a new mission statement asap. Horrible response and treatment of customers. The people there absolutely do not care how hard the store worked to get the sale or if you are satisfied with your purchase.

WARNING WARNING!!! DISHONEST SALES PEOPLE!!!!!! DONT TRUST THEM!!! Just left their store. Thought I was going to buy from here because they had the best deal. When I went back in for a quote another guy told me the truth and I learned my sales guy was lying to me the entire time. He was dishonest with me. Sealy was running a sale -$300 off the mattress and another +$300 for an instant gift the sales guy lied to me and told me about the mattress price only. He was trying to hide the +$300 instant gift. Luckily when I was at the checkout another sales guy I went to school with told me the truth about everything. For this reason we left. I’ve heard rumors that they are not an honest place and now I found out first hand why people say bad things about them. We will not be going back and doing business with a shady place like this. Worst customer service ever, save yourself the aggravation and shop somewhere else. I have a defective 4k+ couch that has flat cushions and mutilated in a failed repair. It is 2 months old, problem occurred immediately and they refuse to make it right or even allow me to talk to a real person.

Stopped in to look at some living room furniture, was greeted by an associate and asked if we needed help, we were just there to look. Did not feel any pressure as we were looking around, then once we found a potential living room set, Jaret was very helpful and went above and beyond to answer any questions about the sectional and how it may look it our living room etc. so we end up purchasing a set. would definitely recommend going there even if you’re just looking around, they’re friendly folks and have good quality stuff.

Ordered a Kitchen Table and 6 chairs from the BG store. When it was delivered and installed, the installer (which I was charged an extra fee for setting up) quickly put everything together and promptly left. Once they were gone I noticed all of the chairs we not leveled. Tried leveling myself, without success. Notified Customer Service that day, which they responded with written instructions on leveling. I replied that I didn't pay extra for myself to fix what they were supposed to do. After several back and forth messages they stopped reaponding. Terrible service, go elsewhere like Thorntons or Marlins furniture. Their service is top notch.

Johnny Holder was great to work with he wasn't pushing and didn't try to rush us he showed my wife and I a lot of different couches and living room sets. We finally decided on a powered couch. We were in there over and hour right up to closing.
I'm not really someone who writes reviews but after Lazy Boy Furniture changed their pricing on what we wanted by alot we decided to stop into Ashley Home Store on Scottsville Rd in Bowling Green, KY to see if there was anything we liked. What transpired was so awesome it deserves my time to do a review. I cannot rave enough about the most AMAZING Sales Professional, Igor Budyshev, who not only helped us find something we liked but it was even better than the set we picked at Lazy Boy and the price was better too not to mention a delivery date that was only a few days from when we purchased it. A few days later we had an extremely unfortunate situation happen with Sleep Number that left us needing a bed ASAP. We called Igor who offered to stay later if we needed him to so right down to Ashley Furniture we went. Not only did Igor help us but his Manager was also a sweetheart as well. We picked a bed that will help us both sleep better and it was delivered three days later. Our experience with everyone at Ashley Furniture from Igor to his Manager to the Customer Service team verifying delivery to the Delivery guys themselves absolute professionalism across the board. We absolutely love our new furniture and bed and will make Ashley our go too for all our furniture needs.
We bought a new home in December 2022. We went to Ashley to buy furniture for our new home. We still haven’t gotten all of the furniture yet. They have been to our house seven times, and they still have not replaced, repaired, or delivered the correct pieces of furniture. They brought furniture to our house broken, they brought furniture to our house damaged, they brought furniture to our house that was the incorrect order. It has been over a year and a half, and we have still not had satisfaction. I will never buy from Ashley furniture again. I would advise everyone to have second thoughts about having to deal with Ashley furniture, delivery, and warehouse delivery services.
We enjoyed our experience at Ashley furniture. I called and talked to Terrence a few days ago, asked him about the inventory of a product I seen on the web-site. He told me the inventory and the due date of delivery, now I just have to wait. He was great and very helpful. I will add photos later.😊😊
We had the most enjoyable expedience with Igor Budyshev at the Bowling Green Kentucky location, when we stopped in to get a new bedroom suite. Igor has such a unique combination of product knowledge, social interaction skills, and overall professionalism. We hope Ashley’s consider Igor a prize asset because as customers we surely did. We hope Igor is recognized for his outstanding qualities and ability. His willingness to go above and beyond was definitely noticed. We hope everyone has the opportunity to have such a positive experience that we had 3/30/24.
I found the furniture I wanted at Ashley online. I went to their store in Bowling Green and was able to get everything I wanted. I have to wait until the first of June to get it, but it will be worth the wait. The staff was super helpful and very pleasant. The sales lady explained the terms to me, and I got most of it. Now I just have to wait.

I recently purchased a bed. The day of the sale everything was pleasant. I was notified 5 different times of a delivery change. When I reached out to the store for assistance because I had arranged for my bed to be removed prior to the first delivery date I was told they would get back to me to see if anything could be done. I never heard back from anyone. I called in multiple times and was on hold for over 30 minutes. They had no resolution and completely ghosted me.
Needed some new living room furniture and was successful here!! The salesman, Johnny Holder, was great and worked with us and our needs, was very knowledgeable, and friendly, but not pushy!! 10/10 highly recommend asking for him when you go in. We love our new furniture!! Also, shout out to the delivery team, they were amazing!

Don’t just walk away from this place, run from it. We were promised furniture would be delivered in two weeks. It didn’t show. No call or heads up. Cannot call their store directly, have to go through a call center. The call center could not provide info but promised to escalate and have someone else call. Never received a call back. Long story short, I feel like we were promised a delivery date that could not be done by company just to get us to buy. Zero service afterwards. I did speak with the sales rep and he promised to call back same day, that never happened. I am not sure how these people stay in business.

I have been to this Ashley store multiple times because I have been an Ashley customer for over 10 years. Till recently the service was so bad we did not want to return. One day I decided to go in looking for specific mirrors and had THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER HAD anywhere from JOHN. He went above and beyond and restored my faith in there still being good out there. I bought several things and have been back to buy more since then. RODNEY was also fantastic!!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Less than was expected, poor quality, poorly assembled. Delivered with damage to table and one chair, driver delivery person shady, did not want to take pics of damaged products for his Companys records. Company is shady would not resolve issue, no responsible person to resolve issue, they use shell game, send you to another phone number to text or chat on chat line with excuses, that need more pics of damage, no warranty, no return, no refund, ask if we would take a discount and forget it. Then the next phone line asks for same pics. That has been given to 3 others on phone text SCAM They want you to give up and forget it.
Great service and professional advise to help us make our selection. The staff is very knowledgeable of their products and they pass that on to the customer.
I have now purchased 2 pieces of furniture on different occasions. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. Also, delivery drivers are very prompt and considerate.

Beware Do Not Buy from them - Worst experience I have ever had with a furniture and delivery company. It was a great experience when we purchased but after that it went down hill. The wrong coffee table was delivered and the manager wanted us to bring it back. Then they offered to pick up but never showed up after multiple texts and calls. Finally a week latter I called and complained again and someone picked it up. Delivery drivers brought furniture in the rain and a tornado warning. We told them to not bring it in yet and hold off until the storm passed. They informed us that the manager said we either take it now or reschedule. (They have as much concern for their employees as they do for their customers). We had to help bring in the furniture and wipe all the furniture off. Their drill didn’t work and had to borrow a screwdriver. My husband had to put the table together himself (even though we paid for the white glove delivery). One of the delivery guys was on his phone while my husband was putting the table together. When the correct coffee table was delivered a week latter, again their drill didn’t work and asked to borrow a screwdriver. The guy even asked if he could keep the screwdriver for his next delivery. Unbelievable experience. We paid a lot of money for delivery. After multiple messages, emails, and phone calls I have yet had anyone reach out to me. They do not care about their customers. I definitely will not be back.

Will NEVER step foot in that store EVER AGAIN!!! We went in to look at Recliners and 3 sales people INSISTED on trying to sell us a bed! They LITERALLY WOULDN'T LEAVE US ALONE!!! It was PATHETIC!! The first salesperson gave us a flyer and told us that nobody should bother us since we had that flyer in our hand, and next thing you know, we were SWARMED!! We couldn't even consintrate on looking at Recliners because they wouldn't SHUT UP about beds!!! They just kept HARRASSING us. Needless to say, we LEFT!

I only picked 1 star because I couldn't pick zero. Very dishonest store in Bowling Green, KY and are not willing to work with customers at all. We ordered two credenza's that we were told would be fully assembled when delivered by salesman Johnny. They arrived unassembled and in a box. When we called the store they said oh no they only come assembled if you paid the extra fee. We tried to return the un-opened boxes for at least store credit and the cowards kept pushing us to the 800 number and the 800 number told us to contact the store. The 800 number contacted the store for us and received the response that all sales are final which after calling them multiple times they didn't have the nerve to tell us that on the phone. I would literally buy furniture from any other store. Beware! They will tell you anything to make a sale.
Very good people. Did not act like salesmen. Asked us what we liked and showed us what direction to go to and when we found what we liked they told us all the details and did not push us at all into any extras like warranties, etc. we decided our delivery date. At the bottom of page she said just sign that I agree to these items. Im looking and see $999.99 I say what’s this? Their reply was protection plan. I said no I don’t what that! I was never asked do I want that. He just included it in my totals when he was going over everything. How do you add 1k to someone’s order without -asking them? NEVER WILL PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN. TOTAL DISHONEST PRACTICES!!

No pressure and never tried to convince us to buy certain pieces. They even moved furniture into different natural light up front so we could see the color it would show mostly in our home. We found a couch here we really liked and they were even able to price match a cheaper price online. My only complaint was the shipping cost, we were quoted three different prices and of course each one was more than the last. We didn’t see the final shipping number until the paperwork was already filled out. That left us a bit frustrated but still overall mostly positive experience.

I had an issue with the Ashley Furniture in Louisville off of Bluegrass Parkway. A delivery date was scheduled but the salesperson Sherri input the incorrect telephone number in the system and I lost my delivery date! Aaron at Bowling Green came to the rescue. Although, I am not getting my delivery when needed he made sure my concerns were addressed and made me feel better about ever making another purchase from Ashley. I would RECOMMEND the Bowling Green location but I would never purchase ANYTHING from the Louisville Bluegrass Location. The south end location was helpful in providing GREAT customer service. Aaron made sure that although I didn’t purchase from his store he made sure that I was headed in the right direction!! After expressing my concern that I didn’t feel the assistant manager was concerned about my issue I was instructed that I could leave store because she was trying to help me although she was not the one who made the error! The biggest problem for me was the salesperson not taking responsibility for her screw up and her trying to make it my fault. I returned the item and purchased it elsewhere. I did not get my delivery date but I finished my experience feeling valued as a customer! Thanks Aaron & Aaron!

Worst store ever. I will never be shopping from any Ashley Furniture store ever again. Ordered something in April and there has been no update or email notifying me that anything has been processed- it is the middle of June now. When calling customer service they keep saying their "system is down" and are not able to track or see my order and aren't sure when the system will be up again. This store has given me the worst headaches every time I have gone in and I am done buying from them. I HIGHLY suggest NOT buying here as you will never get your item and will deal with the worst service.

Well, well, well, let me tell you folks, I had the pleasure of meeting Branden and the entire staff, and boy oh boy, they were a hoot and a half! First off, let me start with the customer service. These guys and gals know how to treat a customer like a king or queen, or whatever royalty you identify as. They were attentive, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was top-notch. And don't even get me started on their product knowledge! These folks could write a book on the ins and outs of their products. They knew everything from the color of the stitching to the thread count. I was blown away by their expertise. Now, let's talk about the fun environment. I felt like I was at a party, and everyone was invited! There were high-fives, fist bumps, and even some dance moves thrown in for good measure. It was like going to a sales rep's house party, but without the awkward small talk with their weird cousin. Overall, I had a blast with Branden and the gang. If you're in the market for some quality customer service, product knowledge, and a good time, look no further than these guys and gals. They'll make you feel like a million bucks, and you might even learn a thing or two!
We made a return trip to Ashley Store and met with Bailey for a second time in several days. She worked very hard to find a table that would fit in our small dinette. We had visited several furniture stores in BG and returned to see Bailey at Ashley. The store has much to choose from and nicely spaced to view their stock. .

Bought a mattress from there and when it arrived it was not the same mattress. It was hard and stiff and when I called the store to get the right mattress they told me They did send the right mattress and does not do exchanges or returns on clearance items. Would never had bought the mattress if I had known this was not returnable if not the right mattress. I highly recommend going anywhere else to buy furniture so that you do not have to deal with this. branden was the sales person and was not helpful at all once I called saying I wanted to exchange or return the mattress.

Terrible experience. Only some of the pieces of the bed I ordered were delivered on the date scheduled, but they technicians still partially assembled the bed before telling us it couldn’t be completed. It was not usable in that state. They said that the missing pieces would potentially be delivered that afternoon, but at most 72 hours. It has now been 5 weeks and Ashley furniture has given me several different dates that the missing pieces would be delivered. Most have passed, and now I am being told they will be delivered in 2 more weeks, almost 2 months after the initial delivery. There has been no recourse. I was told that since pieces were left in my house there is nothing else they can do. Will NEVER purchase furniture there again. I only left one start because zero wasn’t an option.

Ashley Delivery service delivered damaged furniture and damaged my wall. Went to FMO Furniture bought my alashley dining table and Ashley sectional for less.
When ordering a bedroom set we understood the bed was on back order of 2 months. Everything else would arrive on time. Turns out everything ordered came in different times months after we ordered. I would have canceled but it was my daughter’s order for her apartment and she liked the furniture. Anyway Ashley kept delaying delivery every time it was getting close to the delivery date. 8 MONTHS LATER her bed finally arrived. Now let’s see if the discount, they gave me for taking so long in delivery, shows up on the bill. I have a feeling I’ll be back on the phone with costumer service soon

Would give no stars if possible! Ordered a couch from Ashley and delivery time was faster than expected but their delivery team was careless when setting up the couch. Damaged the couch when setting up. So if your furniture gets damaged by the delivery team your local Ashley store where you purchased your furniture can't help you! Really? Now have to deal with someone over the phone to try and resolve your issue. Goodluck with that. Been a few weeks and still haven't seen a technician. I've bought from several different furniture companies over the years and this company by far has been the worst experience i have ever had. Definitely won't be purchasing from them again!!!!!
Delivery people were kind and efficient. The negative part was we asked to have everything delivered at the same time, they showed up with only our sectional and ottoman, our recliner was broken when they took it off they truck, and they did not bring out kitchen table, 6 dining chairs, or our accent cabinet. We got rid of our original furniture since expecting new furniture and now have no table and chairs to eat at. We don’t have a delivery date for the remaining furniture. Very disappointed and it’s an inconvenience every time we order from Ashley.
Just in case it didnt post for all to see. This will help your business take action if you want to claim to be the number 1 furniture store. I’m sorry to say this but, I will not be buying furniture again from Ashleys. My furniture was delivered short and damaged. The delivery person said they would tell Ashley the condition of the furniture and that we were missing furniture. When I called Ashley to find out how they would resolved my problem the said that my ticket was closed and completed. It has been two weeks and no one has called me to say how they would resolved my problem. I have probably purchased about 40k in furniture in the past few years. I’m sorry to say but they have lost a good customer. By the way I’m working on getting furniture for two more rooms and a second living room. Can anyone recommend a good furniture store?
Got all the things we needed all in one stop. Sales man was excellent (Christian). Variety was great. Felt good about purchase. We asked to speak with manager and he laughed us off 3 times. Too busy to talk to customers. Didn’t show any professionalism as a manager. But his sales rep was excellent! And made up for him.
This place is a SCAM, beware!! Ashley has a no refund return policy! I would absolutely never purchase furniture from Ashley's. We spent $7,000 at this store and regret the entire purchase. We were LIED TO by the sales man after being talked into purchasing something we didn't go in there for. We were told the "required for the warranty" sheets, mattress protector, and pillows were going to be included and they were not. Our brand new sofa was delivered broken and continues to break. It came with RIPS in it and felt like someone had been sitting in it for years. Ashley has a new policy apparently that they will not return or replace your furniture until a repair person comes out to attempt to repair it. This process goes on until you just give up and keep the garbage furniture because you can't spend all day on the phone with them arrange the "repairs". The repair person came out to my home and just shoved the broken piece on my sofa, took a picture and called it good. It fell off right after he left.

If I could leave less than one star I would. On 11/6/2022 I purchased a bed for 1409$ was told it was in stock and ready to ship. Multiple delays, being told it was discontinued, shipped to the wrong store, and a month and a half later on 12/20/2022 I still didn't have my bed. I went to the store to cancel, was told I'd have my money back in 2-3 days. 7 days go by and I'm told I have to receive a check, and that it could take 4 weeks. Fast forward to today 1/8/2023 I still do not have my money and I'm being texted by someone being told they're still working my order and that my order hasn't been cancelled!!! Absolute JOKE of a business.

Never do business with this horrible company!!!! One Star is generous! In September, I ordered a table from Ashley that showed in stock online. However it took more than 4 months for them to have it shipped to the store. I put over $500 down. I called numerous times to see when it would be shipped, each time got farther and farther away. I finally called and was told if I didn't have a ship date by the end of November, I could cancel my order and receive a full refund. I called beginning of December and was told I'd have a refund in 7 to 10 business days after canceling the order. However it's now almost middle of January and still no refund. I've called customer service numerous times, good luck finding someone that can speak English! I've called the store, emailed corporate, asked for supervisors. Still no refund. The only thing I am getting is text messages to my husband from Ashley saying that they'd like to schedule delivery. All I want is my money back! Don't do business with them, they'll rob you and take over 4 months to deliver an in stock item. And when you ask for your money back because they don't have the item, they won't give you that either. It's illegal to sell a product you don't have and keep someone's money without providing the product. But they seem to be getting away with it. Save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else that's local.

My husband and I walked in to the Ashley Homestore in Bowling Green, KY with the intentions of buying just a bed for the mattress we had already purchased elsewhere (but they had not yet ordered). The knowledge and professionalism we received from Jay, and quality and design of their products, had us cancel the other mattress order and make the investment of a bed, two nightstands, and a mattress that we are extremely excited to receive! I visited the store today to check out a couch I saw there previously. The salesman helping me out was amazing. The couch I had planned on buying wouldn’t allow me to switch the chaise, but he was able to direct me to a whole different couch that still met my needs and I walked out with a great purchase still within my price range!

If I could give them a zero I definitely would. It's been 5 months since we ordered out $6,000+ bedroom suit. We finally got some of it delivered a few weeks ago and parts were missing. They told us it would definitely bed there within 7-10 days. This was not true and every time we call to check on it they tell us another date. They are now telling us it will be over another month. Since our experience I have spoken to several people how have purchased furniture from them and every single person had the same issues. I honestly do not know how they have any customers. They will not even try to do anything to make it right either. They absolutely do not care about their customers. So if you're thinking about buying furniture, do yourself a favor any go anywhere other than Ashley's Furniture.
The salesperson was helpful on repeat visits and did not rush me to make the sale. After making my purchase, the manager went above and beyond to match online prices and offered refund of difference including free protection plan. Part of the order was delivered earlier than expected without additional delivery fees. I appreciate their customer service and will be back!
My wife and I have been buying furniture from Ashley furniture in bowling green ky for several years. Our purchase in February of 2022 will be our last purchase from this store. We ordered a sectional couch in February, in October they delivered 4 pieces, 2 of those were damaged and we were missing 2 other pieces. The delivery guys were horrible and the lack of communication is also horrible. I have called several times and have even been back into the store and still know nothing!
I went yesterday with my fiancé, just looking for a mattress. When we walk in, the sales guy starts in on his usual pitch (which is fine) … but then things got creepy. Every single room we went in he was there. I’m not talking he just causally passed us, I mean popped up, nearly jump scaring us, and asked us questions. We walked faster to the mattresses in hopes to get away and shop privately, but then he brings his assistant manager who was even creepier! He called himself a mattress expert and just stared at us while we looked around. We were the only customers in the whole store so it was extremely obvious they wouldn’t leave us alone. We were so uncomfortable by the two men we left. I can’t return there, just for the simple fact that you are shopping while holding hands with a worker. Please give people space.
Beautiful furniture in a wide variety of styles. Found a sofa which was just what I was looking for in my price range. Sales associate was polite, patient and applied no pressure. I used their 12 mo. No interest financing. The whole purchase was wrapped up in about 20 minutes. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

We bought our previous living room furniture from Ashley 10 years ago so we decided to go back there we will Never buy anything from them again We purchased furniture over 4 weeks ago and the love seat has been damaged 3 times on delivery. Now they do not know when they can get one to us and refuse to let us return what we have. Plus they have the worse customer service I have ever dealt with. They are rude and unwilling to help when a customer is so frustrated, after 3 different love seats you think they would verify that the loveseat isn’t damaged before arriving.
My mom & I recently visited this location in efforts to find some furniture pieces for my first apartment. While the store did have a decent selection, we were unable to enjoy our experience due to the hovering of a sales rep. Jay was incredibly unprofessional, arrogant and bossy. For these reasons we will be working with a different furniture store going forward.

Already purchased here twice but I came with my mother this time who was very stressed and in desperate need of a recliner with adjustable headrest to help with her neck. She had a specific budget and though her first choice of recliner wasn't available Branden found her an even better option with a massive discount. Never seen my mom so relieved before. Also, I purchased a dining set and was surprised with the same discount my mother received. Even if not for the discounts I always choose Ashley because I'm always treated as a person first and foremost and not just a buyer. Sometimes I come in just to browse for design ideas or to look at art pieces with no intention of buying and the sales people though knowing that are still very friendly and will chat with me the entire time. 10/10 service through and through, I never want to purchase furniture from anywhere else!

SCAM...TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT HAVE FURNITURE TO DELIVER. Purchased furniture last APRIL. (7 months ago) assured it was on hand. Repeatedly! Had to cancel office furniture to get it completed afew months ago. Still no reimbursement. Finally got a scheduled delivery 30 days out. Took the day off to wait for furniture and got rid of my current set. After waiting all day they say it was canceled and no delivery available until the end of October. So another 30 days. Can't refund my money for a minimum of 35 days if I cancel the order. Of course still waiting for the other refund! THEY ARE TAKING MONEY FOR FURNITURE THEY KNOW THEY DONT HAVE.
I will definitely NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!! HIGHLY DISSATISFIED WITH EVERY EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD WITH THEIR HORRIBLE SERVICE AND SALES STAFF! NEVER AGAIN AND REGRET THE FIRST TIME.
This was a really nice experience, the store is a clean pretty place to look around, all the furniture is excellent quality and in a variety of styles, I would be shocked if someone couldn't find something they liked here - and Melanie was very helpful, kind, and personable, we really appreciated her help and her attitude.
Don't order anything from Ashley. I ordered furniture for my home that was under construction in Sept 2021 before the house was complete. Sectional, table and chairs, bedroom suit the whole house to be furnished by ashley. The house was move in ready the second week of July, I call to get the furniture delivered and was told it wasn't ready but would be in 2 weeks. Waited the 2 weeks and called again. Got the standard 2 week lie again. Finally got a delivery date, but the got told the day before that they didn't have the complete order and there would be more waiting. All this while using lawn chairs in my living room and an 8 month pregnant wife. It took until September 9th the get all of the furniture and I had to drive an hour and a half one way to pick up the last piece for the bed from their warehouse. Don't order anything unless you have more then a year to wait.
Recieced my couch four months after I purchased it the dust cover was ripped. Delivered another couch with more rips than the original one, 6 months later and was told I would get a new couch delivered September 1 and no one called or showed up. Calling again and we will see what happens this time. What a headache
We purchased a bedroom set from Ashley furniture and it took approximately 3 months to get it after receiving it the footboard to the bed was so damaged that it couldn't be used, the chest of drawers was also damaged but was usable. The mirror to the dresser came with no brackets to attach it to the dresser. I called the actual store where we purchased it from and to my surprise they were unable to help us with any of these problems we had to call someone else to get the issue resolved. We were finally able to get replacement pieces ordered and they are supposed to be here in approximately 3 weeks. I wouldn't recommend buying from Ashley Furniture to anyone. We have spent over $3000 on a bedroom set that we still cannot use after 3 months.
My family came in today looking for two items and got exactly what we were looking for. Chase was an amazing help and he was very patient with us and our toddler. So thank you Chase for a great experience, we will definitely be recommending Ashley Furniture to our friends and family in the future.

Not a good place to get furniture in bowling green simply for the fact that the delivery process is atrocious. There were many times where my furniture had been rescheduled without me knowing or an explanation as to why. I bought everything with the salesman telling me everything is in stock so I wouldn’t have to wait long. It’s been 3+ months now and I still don’t have the bulk of my furniture. Ashley needs to do better.

I was given the help I needed and explained what options my bed panel came in. I was also made aware that my choice would be a bit long on being delivered which made me feel comfortable knowing that I was going to be updated prior to when it would be arriving.
In store service was great besides the "guaranteed 3-4 week delivery" becoming 3+ months. But when delivery finally came, the 2 men were extremely nice and helpful although the wrong pieces were sent.
Bought a $1000 bunk bed for my kids and it’s absolutely trash quality. They have delivered two now because the first one was broken upon install. Sure enough the replacement was broken as well. Do not buy anything from here. Updating since they just tried delivering my third replacement bunk bed today. Upon delivery the box was ripped and taped up. The guys opened the box and it was full of trash and broken boards. The distribution center had sent another previously broken bed. This is the most unprofessional establishment that I have ever conducted business with!!!

I walked in ashley furniture with the idea of one cheap mattress i saw on the website. when walking in the store, Branden greeted me and showed me the exact mattress i saw online. after looking around Braden introduced me to Chase who was just as helpful. he asked me my max budget, sleep habits, and took me to a mattress i ultimately fell in love with. Chase and Braden were both extremely helpful and walked me through the entire process while answering all my questions. Overall it was a great experience!

BEWARE! Purchased a sofa and agreed to finance at 0.00%APR for (36) months. The first statement shows 34.9%APR! This Ashley franchise is unwilling to correct their mistake. UPDATE: I followed the directions from the owner. I was told this is an individually owned franchise and corporate is unable to resolve the matter. The BG location has refused to assist.
Went in today just looking around at everything. Didn’t buy anything today, but met salesman Igor Budyshev and he couldn’t have done a better job. Igor was very knowledgeable, inviting, and I know anytime I need something I will come back to buy from Igor. I will also be telling everyone interested in buying furniture to go see Igor.
Went to Ashley furniture at the end of april to look at bed sets and couches. Specified that we didnt have the best credit right now and were looking to sign up for a different type of financing that went off just your income (which we had plenty) My husband was told that we were not approved and they "couldnt see why not", but for sure the program they applied us for had NOTHING to do with credit. Well a month later i have received 5 different credit applications from all different banks, with hard hits to each because my credit was ran multiple times after i was told it wasnt! And when you call the store they cant give you any reason to why it was ran. Annoyed that they couldn't just tell me the truth about running credit, or at least be honest about how their financing works instead of doing it to benefit themselves. Will not be going back!

They will lie to you make the sell and then in the 6 months you wait for your order they will lie the entire time. Customer Service is awful they will hang up, promise call backs, or even give a false email. I Will do my best to steer anyone away from conducting business with this company. They are a joke.

My husband and I, along with our 10 month old, came here looking for new seating for our upstairs and downstairs living rooms. We were immediately greeted by Igor and he was fantastic! Ordered a bed in December of 2021 and had to wait until the end of April to recieve it. Upon receiving the bed it was all damaged and not even made out of the same wood as the floor model displayed in the store. With canceling the order and contacting customer service, I still didn't get all of my down payment back as they said I would. They are terrible with everything and lie.
We had an awesome experience with our furniture selection and purchase today. Our sales rep was Caleb Wolfe. He was very knowledgeable of the products and did great matching our needs/wants with the right items. Caleb was more of an advisor/facilitator than a sales person which significantly enhanced our willingness to buy here today. Will definitely return to this store again.

Well, I bought a bedroom suite from Ashley Furniture about 15 years ago. The set is still in good condition to this day. So when I needed a new couch of course I went to Ashley Furniture first! I bought a sectional sofa. They told me it wouldn’t arrive for several months due to COVID so when it got delivered a few weeks later I was thrilled! That’s about where my satisfaction ends….the delivery was super late, “truck problems”, they got there around 930pm. They didn’t have the right tools to assemble the couch so they asked if we could just assemble it ourselves. We told them sure, at this point it’s so late it doesn’t really matter. We go to assemble and they hadn’t left us all of the legs for the sectional, there were holes in the fabric, the wood was scratched in multiple places. I was wondering if maybe it had fallen out of the truck, because it surely wasn’t “new” furniture. I sent pictures and contacted customer service the next day. They were to send us new parts and replacement sections of the couch. Fast forward to a few weeks later, they show up to deliver new items and low and behold one of the “new” pieces cut the driver’s hand wide open. So that piece was in just as bad condition as the original so they ended up keeping it. I called customer service again and it’s been 5 months now and no word. I’m sure at this point we are just stuck with an expensive beat-up sectional. I feel like Ashley should try to at least make it right.

We want to give a shout out to the Ashley furniture store in Bowling Green, KY. We have had the pleasure of working with Kimi Bussey as our furniture specialist. She is awesome! Each time we went into the store, I made changes to what we were going to buy. Even on the day that we actually finalized our purchase, changes were made to what we wanted and she made it easy for us. If you are going to Ashley furniture make sure you ask for Kimi! Bought and oversized recliner for disabled uncle only for it to break after 2 days with evidence of it previously being broke and a bad patch job being done so they can resell it don't shop here...
We were looking for a recliner for Momma and we were told that it was going to take 8 to 12 weeks to get the recliner. We couldn't wait that long just to get one to look at it. They didn't have it in the store but the website did have it. We went to another store and got her one. I liked the one on line that I found but couldn't wait that long for it to be in the store.
My sales associate did a good job once I found someone to help me. I had a sofa delivered and the delivery guys were great. My mattress was later and when I called I was given a deliver date. I called to confirm today as it’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow. They rescheduled for a Later date but didn’t bother letting me know. I drove 2 hours to be available. Not happy!!

I felt pressured as soon as we walked into the building. The salesperson was like a mosquito in my ear. Every 5 minutes they would interrupt me and my wife while we were trying to decide which couch we wanted to purchase! Eventually we agreed upon which couch to buy and paid in full! It was only after we signed the paperwork and paid in full that they notified us the couch we purchased was not in stock. This was in November and they told us that the couch would be delivered December 11th. Then we got another date, December 27th. Then another, and another sometime in March. So we decided to cancel our order about two weeks ago. We were told our money would be refunded in 7-10 business days. Well we called customer service today and our refund hasn't been processed. So now four months later we still don't have a couch or a refund and the local store we purchased it from will not answer our phone calls! We went to American Freight and got our couch delivered the next day!
I got some beds and only one came and the rest did not after waiting a month only one bed came in i tried to call them and all the said was next week and it when it finally came only one off two beds came not recommend
We ordered an entertainment center 3 months ago and still haven’t received it. They’ve made four trips to our house, every time they either don’t have everything needed or they have the wrong parts. We’ve talked to the store 5 times to try and resolve the issue and still have not received our purchase. We have yet to see any pieces that actually belongs to what we order despite having 4 deliveries

Horrible service The couch came with a tear. The delivery team suggested we get it and they would send a new piece later ... he photographed the rupture and said we should do nothing. After a long time we have not heard from them, now they are not ready to take responsibility ... Of course we tried to get perfect furniture in all possible ways but apparently this company does not know how to provide such a thing ... Before you pay them money they give a five star service, right after you leave the store the service goes down to zero stars ... I'm sorry every time I walk by the couch, and I suggest you buy your furniture at another store ... Of course they will respond to my message: we are sorry for the bad experience, email your complaint and we'll make sure you are satisfied ... or something similar. So I did that, and they moved us from one to the other And after going through all the company people we went back to the first one.

Do not buy from this store. I went in along with my boyfriend to order a new mattress & frame. After completing the purchase, a couple weeks later I get a credit card in the mail. Not one, but THREE. I was told I would have ONE. They went out of their way to put me in a waterfall system after only being approved for one & I received three cards in the mail. After going back into the store to have them explain (they never once told me they were putting me in a waterfall system or told me they were signing me up for multiple credit cards.) they informed me that they DID in fact tell me when they did not. After trying to figure that part out, I asked about a random charge on my account on 12/30 on one of the credit cards. They informed me I would have to call the bank that the Credit Card is through to see what the charge was. As I did what they instructed that same day, the Credit Card customer service informed me that Ashley Homestore lied about not being able to see what was charged to my account. They said they in fact can see it. So I made another trip back to the store just to cancel my order and close my account because it’s too much of a mess than what it’s worth!!!! When canceling they wouldn’t take back the mattress pad that I had taken home the week prior. UNOPENED and sitting on my floor waiting for the bed to arrive. They informed me it was “Covid procedures”. But I noticed other people returning things??? Like a mattress they didn’t like. I don’t understand. Not only did they not take back the mattress pad, but the employee that helped us that day was talking badly about me several feet away! She was angry I cancelled the order and was openly talking about it to another coworker with several customers around!! Like how rude. I’m still fighting with them about charges on my account and now am contacting cooperate. It’s not even worth going here. The customer service is awful and they are rude.

I ordered 2 couches in early July 2021 for our new build and still have not received my order. When I ordered it I was told one piece wouldn't be available until October and I said that would be fine and ordered anyway. However after numerous phone calls I still don't have my furniture and its now the end of December. When I do get through with someone they just give me a date of delivery, get my hopes up and never call back. I have only received a call back once and I missed that call, when I tried calling back they told me there were no notes and since I didn't answer I would just have to wait for the next call, that was almost 3 weeks ago and even though I call and call and speak to people and leave messages I've heard nothing. Will not order again.

Do not buy from this company. They will say anything to you to make a sale. They will also tell you that your furniture will come in within 6 weeks. We’ve been waiting over 3 months just for a partial delivery of the items they have. Their customer service is an absolute joke. Don’t bother calling cause no one will help you. They will also lie to you just to get you off the phone. I was hung up on by their customer service team twice.

I am not going to go into all of the details about the experience my wife and I have had with this company because it would be way too long and no-one would want to read it anyways. I would not recommend this furniture store to ANYONE, no matter what kind of sale they are having or how nice the employees at the store may seem. It has been several months since we placed and paid in full for our order. At first we were understanding due to covid, short staff, hard times. Now, we have been told different ship dates too many times to count - for a sectional couch. Upon multiple dates changing, us taking off work and rearranging our weekends to make the deliveries happen several times we weren't even notified by the company that delivery dates hand been rescheduled or even CANCELED in one case- we had to call multiple times to figure out what the heck was going on. Not only that... but we ended up going back there and bought a whole set of bedroom furniture (completely regretting this now). And since it was going to be a few weeks before it would be delivered, we did the credit card/ financing to get a good deal etc. Boy was that a HUGE mistake. Ashley Furniture mixed and matched my and my wife’s names, social security numbers, date of birth, address for billing and shipping (we were not yet married when we placed this order and filled out the cc app). We never received any information/ confirmation about ***my wife’s*** credit card being open after we applied UNTIL WE RECIVED A CALL FROM A COLLECTIONS agency about a card being opened in my info which we didn’t even do!!! Mind you, both my wife and I had individual credit scores in the upper 700’s lower 800 range. Additionally you get the run around every single time you call, you never can talk to the staff that you bought the furniture from, NOBODY knows how to figure out a solution and it's NEVER their fault. My wife and I have been blamed for issues that we have no control over. We have been nice. We have been patient. We have been understanding. But Ashley isn’t meeting us ANYWHERE CLOSE to the middle. To top it all off, when they say they will do something, in the end they don't... which is exactly what will happen once they read and reply to this post. We are only posting this to warn others. Very long and frustrating and never-ending story short- I will NEVER buy another piece of furniture from here and neither should you. Their MAJOR lack of communication and professionalism leads us to wonder exactly how this company is still in business when we have heard so many similar stories from other people.
I visited the Bowling Green location today 12/14. There were no other cars in the lot. There were no other customers in sight. Upon entering, there was a salesperson well to the left of the door and two directly in line with the front doors. I was completely ignored. I had to speak first before being acknowledged at all. Not sure if it was because I chose to wear a garish top today or if they were merely apathetic. As a repeat customer, I was highly disappointed. Towards the back of the store, I was finally greeted by a salesperson named Caleb. I found him to be helpful and friendly. He even apologized for the actions of his coworkers. My four star rating is entirely due to Caleb’s attentive attitude. Be sure to ask for him by name if you choose to purchase from Ashley. The assistant manager was also helpful in choosing possible side chair options. Unfortunately, I do not recall his name.
Horrible customer service. They just want your money then when you have an issue they don’t know anything about anything. Bought a couch and it was broken when they delivered it and they said they would send someone to fix it. Um no! I want a new one! But they said that’s not the policy and this shady dude came and took the whole couch apart. Pathetic
After having problems several times on different occasions Tonight I had the pleasure of working with Sarita, Dove,and Nick and Patrick. Service was excellent 10 out of 10. I have had a very bad experience on Ashley Furniture store at Bowling Green. I have been charged double for the same item, due to store system problems. Sales person kindly tried to solved the issue, but Manager at Bowling Green store had a very bad and aggressive attitude aimed to avoid solving the problem caused by the store system. My review is not really for the double charge, I will expect to be solved soon, but it does because of the poor attitude of the manager, which was unacceptable and even discriminatory in every single moment. I will not get back to such store and will not recommend anyone to go there. Poorest service ever! I have bought a lot online and a Nashville stores with great service. Try online or another store.

Everyone was great in helping us. We received our sofa couch and so far so good. We had one slip up. The couch was delivered early but it came in grey instead of brown. We refused it. They reorder again and we received the correct couch in less then a week. The only complaint we have is you can’t reach the store by phone. We finally went to the store and got the problem solved immediately.

They provided us with pillows and a sanitary cover for our pillows! We tried several mattress even a traditional mattress but went back to Temperpedic mattresses because they conform to your body! We were allowed to play with the settings on the remote for the Temperpedic and were sold on the comfort of the mattress and like that it allowed us to adjust of feet, knees and head with a remote! We got a Temperpedic with a massaging deauthorize with a cooling feature! Ashley Furniture make mattress shopping fun and enjoyable
There seems to be a major problem with delivery and customer service. My husband has been on the phone simply trying to find a delivery date for a bed we bought. Has gone from 2 months delay to 3 months delay within 30 minutes. Right now we have a mattress, no bed. And no one seems to know why.
The worst experience of my life with this junk of a company!!!!! Please do yourself a favor and never go there!!! Also our orders where done in June and we are in October now!!!!!
Does anyone know if I can sue Ashley Furniture in bowling green? I am FED UP. First, i placed my order in September 2020. My items arrived damaged almost a year later about 8-9 months. I still have not received all my items. the bed rails they sent me fit the bed, but aren’t even the right ones they don’t go flush with the head and foot board. They have brought new ones 2 times and they still weren’t right. They were supposed to send me new drawers because they were supposed to be silver, they came a champagne color. Still haven’t gotten them. I asked for touch up paint for the drawers because The drawers on the dresser don’t even close all the way because they rub on each other and make the paint chip. (it was made horribly) when I placed my order they also offered me a $300 gift card for financing through the company I finance through, still haven’t gotten that. I have talked to corporate office they have sent in tasks for them to call me back, no call backs. I have been to the store multiple times and they tell me “sorry there is nothing we can do”. When I call corporate they tell me that my local store is supposed to take care of it. But they haven’t. It is oct. 3 2021 and I still haven’t gotten everyone I ordered or my gift card. Someone help. I hate Ashley furniture so much.  ALSO, MIND YOU. This is a $3,500 set of furniture. I am CURRENTLY paying for it, I kind of want it… 🥲
I am very displeased with my most recent purchase. Delivery had to be rescheduled. Then, the first time they came for delivery the items arrived damaged and the wrong hardware was sent. They rescheduled for 2 weeks later. They came for delivery a second time to only show up with THE SAME damaged items, and still missing some pieces. This is completely ridiculous that I am even having to deal with this.

Nothing in stock you have to wait for delivery and assembly by them and of course you have to paid for this services, totally ridiculous.
Do not buy here your furniture! I paid full price for my furniture and it was damaged and they wouldn't replace it. Very disappointed. Don't make my mistake. Go to a smaller store where you will get good service.
Horrible customer service. We've been waiting on furniture for 6+ months and every time I get an update, I am told different dates and that different pieces aren't available for delivery. At least 2 delivery dates were botched and the 1 delivery that arrived had missing parts/pieces which have YET to be corrected. The store never answers the phone. Now I've received an incorrect statement asking me to pay for more than what furniture I've received. I drove to the store from out of town and was immediately dismissed, even the manager Sean saying he "couldn't" help me. Yes I said 1 curse word and shouldn't have, but then he started threatening to call the police.
Matt Hussey, Associate Sales Manager, assisted us with our selection of a new mattress. He offered insights and was instrumental in our final selection. I dreaded the whole process of selecting a new mattress and delayed going shopping for a mattress until it was beyond necessary. Matt made that process very easy. I wish I had visited Ashley 2 years ago.
Received Great customer service from Kat Kremer. Walked in she helped me right away told her what I was looking for and she took me right to exactly what I had in mind . And worked with me to get my payment in my price range. If anyone is ever in the bowling green store hit Kat up u won’t be disappointed thank u Kat for being great at what u do.
DON'T EXPECT FURNITURE TO ARRIVE! I purchased an entertainment table for my 4K TV in December 2020 and am still waiting for it to arrive.
I wish there were a negative stars option. We have had a negative experience from the start. While looking around the store, we overheard the manager arguing with a customer and the customer was very upset. The manager literally said to the customer, “I don’t care what you think. I don’t care if you shop here.” He didn’t even get up out of his chair to talk to him. I mean ok, but what kind of customer service is that. Despite that, I still decided to buy from them. I should have double checked before the transaction was complete but I didn’t and they overcharged me. The salesperson didn’t bother to look at the ticket. So I initiated a return for the difference. The whole time it seems like they were trying to beat the system someway so they didn’t get in trouble. One even told me to walk in a different door when I came back so I wouldn’t hurt their numbers. They cares nothing about my business when I told them no on their warranties on warranties. They said I’d get my return in 10 business days. I still have not. They also stated that I would get the bed within the month because it was in stock. Well that was a lie too. So finally, today they deliver it, and not all the parts were with it. They do not take any responsibility for their failings or care about their customers in the least bit. I will never buy from them or encourage anyone else to either.
WILL NOT BUY FROM HERE. My wife calls the store during the middle of the day while I am working with the intention of purchasing a chair for a living room. All she asked the store was that they assist in loading the chair in her SUV, mind you she is 6 months pregnant. The store stated they don't do that and she could purchase the chair but it was on her to figure out how to get it out the store. Well, now I am not buying the chair from their and will purposely go to a competitor. They have every right to refuse to assist. However, I reward good customer service over best value and will be taking my business elsewhere.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! Please read. My husband and I ordered from Ashley Furniture in bowling green, ky: king size mattress, king box springs (it takes 2 box springs for a king), kitchen table with 6 chairs, dresser with mirror, bed frame, and a small bench. The total was around $3,500. We ordered this all on March 9th and was told delivery would be 5-7 weeks. On April 29th, I called the call center to complain that it had already been past the promised delivery date and the call taker stated it would be another 5-7 weeks for delivery “due to covid”, estimating it would be towards end of June when they arrive. I had a fit and he promised to send a 10% refund in the mail, totaling around $350. I went in to the store last week on July 9th (still no furniture and still no refund in the mail). I was told that half of our items were in the warehouse and ready for delivery, but the bed frame, dresser, and mirror have been pushed back for a third time and estimated delivery date would be August 23rd. That is pushing SIX MONTHS since ordering with an original promise of delivery in 5-7 weeks. The manager for the day states the best I could do at this point is cancel the order for the bed frame, dresser, and mirror, and go ahead and have the rest of the items that are in, be delivered on Wednesday, July 14th. The manager said he would refund us the amount for the items being cancelled and make sure we get the 10% refund that we were promised. Which at this point is not good enough considering we’ve waited 4 months and aren’t even getting half of what we ordered. So today, they tell me the items should be delivered between 9am-12pm and that we are the first stop the delivery company has for the day. So my husband takes off work during that specific time frame to be there when they arrive. The delivery company doesn’t show up until after 2pm, only delivers one half of the box springs, and “forgot” the hardware to the kitchen table. So they leave a table and table legs lying in the kitchen floor and say that they will just mail the hardware to us in the mail and we can put the table together ourselves when it gets here. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP PEOPLE. So I go back into the store today to speak to the manager demanding something be done about the entire situation. I said “only half of the box springs were delivered, how am I supposed to sleep on a bed without the entire box springs?” and the managers response was “well I guess you can just put the mattress on the floor and sleep on that can’t ya?” This manager said this to a WOMAN THAT IS SEVEN MONTHS PREGNANT. At this point I am livid and demand to speak to whoever is above him and he states “there’s no one above me”. I said obviously someone owns this store and I want to speak with them since nothing is being done. He proceeds to tell me that one person owns all 152 Ashley Furnitures and that he isn’t allowed to give out that phone number, so the best I can do is call the customer care line (like I did 2 months ago when I first complained and nothing was done). Again, I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!! This has been the absolute WORST customer service I have seen in my entire life with the rudest employees I’ve ever dealt with. And the only thing I’m getting is a 10% refund and only half of the items I originally ordered over 4 months ago.
I would never recommend this store to anyone that I care about. My wife and I ordered a dining room table set from the for around $1800 at the end of March. They told us that it should come in around the end of May, with COVID going on we understood the wait. The set did not arrive until yesterday, the middle of July. When the table was delivered three out of the four chairs are wobbly, the bench is wobbly and even the table itself is wobbly. Two of the the four corners have scrapes out of them. I mentioned to the delivery guys that the stuff was wobbly and they told me to contact customer service about it and finished their delivery and left. We’ve been talking to customer service today and they said the best they could do was send us a replacement, they can’t do any kind of refund because it was already delivered.so we’ll likely have to wait another four months to potentially get a table and hope that it’s not messed up also. We went to the store itself and they were no help whatsoever, telling us to talk to customer service again. Needless to say we will never be doing business with Ashley furniture ever again.
Wonderful customer service. Kat was far beyond helpful. She was able to work with me and find the exact thing I needed for my space that had specific measurements. Awesome place. Will definitely go back again.
DO NOT EVER BUY FROM ASHLEY While telling the delivery drivers that they were delivering the wrong item, they refused to take it back with them, or call the Bowling Green Kentucky store or their supervisor whoever you call at Ashley. I immediately called the store number which says it’s closed even in the middle of the business day, the manager at this particular store says that they do not answer their phone, when no one answered I reached out to the corporate office. After a lot of struggle back-and-forth I finally got upset and said get the wrong piece get the one piece that you did get right cancel the piece that never showed up do a complete return and refund my deposit. I was told that this had to be handled in store but they sent emails to you tell them at the store to do this. Once you get into the store the manager says oh I don’t know how to do that I’m not trained for that no that’s something they do that’s just corporate passing the buck off. Several people at corporate said that they can they will and they do do returns it’s just a matter of the store key in the code that they have to key in. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau at this point. I cannot use my living room because their furniture is sitting in my living room and they’re refusing to come get it. They won’t even come get the wrong piece. When they started out they was telling me I had to keep the wrong piece. Which is what led to me finally saying no cancel it all and refund my down payment.
Chase was incredibly professional, well spoken, and never pushed the purchase. Provided more than enough detail in order to make the best decision for our family and ended with a new sectional and dining room table! Essentially he was very hospitable!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!! Our experience has been an absolute nightmare! We ordered bed, chest and two night stands and a couch in early April and as of July we have a footboard for a bed. That’s it. The rest of the bedroom furniture was supposed to be delivered in June. I waited all day for delivery and they never showed. Now they’ve pushed delivery back to September. When I call the store they tell me there’s nothing they can do and give me phone number to call. IF you’re lucky enough for someone to answer that number they can’t help you either. My couch is finally scheduled for delivery today and when I checked the status I found out it’s only threshold delivery, which means they’ll deliver it to my front door. The salesman specifically told us when we purchased that it was free delivery and set up. He never mentioned “threshold delivery” or that there were different delivery options. So now I’m scrambling trying to find help getting the couch up our stairs so we can be prepared IF they decide to show up this time. Worst sales experience of my life. Save yourself a major headache and shop somewhere else.
My daughter bought a coach and chair from this store back in March. She was told it would be delivered towards the end of April. Needless to say, by the end of May she still hadn't received it. She had paid 1/2 on her debit and 1/2 with cash. She went to the store at the end of May to cancel her order as the store had no idea when her furniture would be in. The manager put in her refund request but said it would take up to 2 weeks to receive a check refund on the cash portion. The debit portion was credited back within 3 days. To date...no check. I called to check on the refund and was told that a check had not been processed and would take another 10 business days. This is ridiculous to have to wait all of this time for a $670 refund. They refused to place the cash payment on her debit card. I had also requested a manager call back and so far no call has been received. I am writing this for my daughter who has just moved out because I want people to know to think twice before buying from this store. This took the excitement out of moving out for my daughter. She was able to go to another furniture store, purchase a sectional and chair and had it delivered within 2 days of purchase. It is now July 16th, have not received a call from the manager, have not received an email back from "feedback" and just got off the phone with customer service and was told another 10 business days for a check refund on a cash payment that should have been received early June. Interest please!

We placed an order with Ashley. We were told everything was in stock and would arrive in 1 week. It did not. Delivery was one or two pieces at a time. It has now been 3 months. We are still missing three pieces. We were told several dates, each one pushed out. Today is 7.6.21 and we were just told the date has been pushed out to 8.20.21, this has happened several times. We cannot recommend Ashley any more.

Bought a bed set in early February 2021, I told them not to deliver until they got everything. Finally, they deliver in late May, still missing parts so I still do not have the bed. The delivery guy promised to make sure they deliver quickly, I called 3 weeks later and said there is nothing in the system to complete the order. Spent one hour with their customer services, they said they now know exactly what I need and they will rush to make sure I got it by end of June. Still not heard anything from them, I came to the store that I purchased and the store manager said it is not their job to follow orders, nothing he can do, and I just have to call back to the same group of incompetence that handling the order delivery. He said nothing in the system for the parts I need until late August. Is this any kind of customer services. The worst I have experienced. I rarely write review but this is so bad that I have to share. I will not buy anything from this company again.

Sales Associates were super pushy about selling and very off putting. In the bedding section they were borderline trying to diagnose medical conditions with their “sleep experts”. For the price of the furniture a lot of it felt cheaply made and I’m glad we didn’t purchase anything. Won’t ever be back.

I will NEVER buy a piece of furniture from Ashley's again. Terrible customer service. I purchased the 5 year protection plan including spot/stain repairs. I submitted my first claim a few months after receiving it (in May) and by September it still had not been addressed. They had made up some bogus claim about bleach stains. After months of trying to get them to hold up to their part of the deal, I then spent months trying to cancel the service. Having never had any claims satisfied, and their unwillingness to perform the work, I requested a cancellation and full refund. They would only offer me a pro-rated refund. At this point I'm about 10 months into a 5 year protection plan, and I received less than half of what I paid. After that, I discovered a broken piece in the base of the couch (a wooden slat inside the couch) which should have been covered under the manufacturer's one year warranty. I contacted them and after several phone conversations, they set up an appointment (for a month later) for someone to come out and look at it. They never showed up and never contacted me again. I am beyond done with them. I paid for the furniture. It's a piece of junk. I will never buy anything from them again and I will be telling anyone who asks for a recommendation not to purchase from them.

My mom purchased a bedframe, mattress and adjustable base for the mattress. She's still waiting for it to be delivered after 3 weeks and 3 difference delivery dates. Now they say its gonna be another 11 days.
I just moved here from Pa and ordered furniture that was supposed to be delivered back in April. Due to covid delays i knew some things could be delayed so i specifically picked things they had available in the warehouse. They were dishonest and i regret doing business with them. I still have not recieved parts for my bed so i am sleeping on the mattress as the order keeps getting pushed back every time i call. The one piece i received was all damaged and now it will be delayed even longer. I have been on the phone many times and at the store to speak with the manager but I'm still left without furniture and honestly i may not get it for months. I have never had such a horrible experience with delivery and handling in timely manner as Ashley's is a huge company you would think they would have handled it by now. I am very disappointed and they have lost my business at this point. I will never shop there again

If you are thinking of using Ashley Furniture in BG, KY, do yourself a favor and don’t! Worst experience ever. Bought $5300 of furniture beginning of March. We were told would be delivered all together April 14. Nope. We didn’t even receive a call from them saying there’s a delay. After a few days I called and they told me two weeks. Well, long story short we got one piece about month later, another few weeks later, and finally just got the bed. It’s been almost three months. Fine, covid delays, whatever. But, they made us get it delivered ($99) and they were supposed to assemble. Well that didn’t happen because they didn’t have the hardware. So now there is pieces of a bed everywhere and I was told they’d deliver the parts next week. So not only can we not use the bed we can’t move around in our room! It’s insane. I’m supposed to hear back from someone today to see if they can just overnight us the missing parts so we can assemble. We shall see. Moral of the story, it’s worth paying more for better service. Look and buy elsewhere.

My wife and I were just window shopping not planning to buy any furniture. Just when we were ready to leave we sat on the perfect couch. It was the right size, right shape, and right comfort level. On top of that Ms. Kat Kremer helped us pick out the perfect side tables and coffee tables to go with the couch. She made our experience very enjoyable and our decision to buy so much easier!

I was told my furniture would be available May 7th after waiting 10 weeks and am now told I have to wait until mid June. Why even bother giving dates if you keep pushing them back? I would recommend going somewhere that can deliver what they are selling instead of buying from a company who doesn’t even have the product. DO NOT BUY HERE!
I have no issues being greeted by commission based reps when entering a store. However, when you have said no less than three times that you are just looking and you continually get followed around and given an unwarranted speech *twice* about "sleep diseases" from men in "lab coats" it makes me want to do nothing but run out quicker than I came in. Seriously though, I'm sure the furniture is great but I wouldn't know because my view was blocked by the rep following us around and constantly trying to sell when I had asked to please let us just look.
Shame on me for not reading the reviews ahead of time. Like many others before me I am finding the all over customer service to be very frustrating. I was told last week that I would be receiving half of my order this week. I called today to confirm and now I am being told May 6th. When i voiced my frustration about the lack of communication on their part she asked me if there was anything else she could help me with trying to end the call. How this company stays in business shocks me. Let me clarify not the business, this location. I have purchsed from Ashley before and have never had this issue. I understand that covid has slowed down production. I don't understand how one store can lack communication and customer service. The only thing I have requested through this is communication, apparently a word they need to learn the definition of. I would leave them 0 stars but that is not an option.

I'm in the market for bedroom furniture. I walk into Ashley Furniture in Bowling Green KY. Cash in hand I walked the entire store. Needless to say I wasn't even acknowledged! I won't ever go back🤷🏾♀️
When we first entered the store there were 2 men helping one lady and a lady in the back helping a couple. Even though we already picked out what we wanted online we decided to walk around until someone could help us locate it. We walked around the entire store and no one spoke or even acknowledged us. We went back to the front to see if the men were done and both had left and went to the back. We saw them chilling out on the beds just sitting and talking. I guess our money wasn’t good enough for them so we left. 🤷🏽♀️
Wish I could give negative stars. They gave me a 6 week delivery time. After 8 weeks I start calling to see what is going on. 11 weeks later, I finally find out that they didnt order all the pieces of a SECTIONAL couch. They didnt order the actual COUCH part of the sectional. The price we thought we paid was for ALL PIECES OF THE SECTIONAL. Apparently though we only paid 2500 for only 2 parts of the whole thing. We could pay another 1000 and they would order the other pieces, but it would be "6 weeks" before the other parts came in. NO THANKS, I've seen how long Caleb Wolfe's weeks are and seen his math skills! We will NEVER buy another thing from them. They didnt even try to make it right. We are going to get our money back this week. They say it will be 7 to 10 days before we will get that back, so we'll see how long that takes. If we dont have our money back in 10 business days, I'll be filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau!
Ordered a king bed, mattress, couch & loveseat back in first of January 2021 due to sale. Stated would have it in two weeks. Two weeks came & went with no calls. We waited, then finally called; they tell us it would be 3rd week of February. My husband went in to cancel in it all. Suddenly they could deliver our bed, mattress & couch & said our loveseat would not be here all the way until March. We decided ok we will wait. We finally called today - as they NEVER call & update. They NOW say it will not be here for delivery until April 20th! So now we are here stuck with a couch, no other seating for anyone & over a month until loveseat to be delivered, which neither my husband or I believe. This is the worst furniture company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT do your business here. Best thing I know to do, is for them to come pick up this couch & go buy another couch & love seat elsewhere in Bowling Green Ky. Employees are not helpful at all. This is sad as this is a great town & this business does not stand up to what Bowling Green is. I hope this helps spare people many headaches, anger, and gets you to a place where you can buy a place to sit ASAP. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Furniture was delivered without a piece needed for assembly and called at least a dozen times to try to have a part delivered and repair scheduled. Customer service is inattentive. I was disconnected twice, placed on hold for 10-15 minutes several times, and given different information by the reps on how to receive part and schedule repair. 3 separate emails to the feedback address without reply. This organization does not value their customers.

Don't shop at this store. My mom bought a bed frame from this store and it was messed up. She called the store to do a refund and they stated that they won't refund the bed frame. Once you buy it it is yours. Was trying to compromise and said they could see about in store credit but, she's have to call them back to see if she gets it. HORRIBLE business!!! SHOP ELSE WHERE!
The website said price match guaranteed but when asked about it, the staff was very hesitant and refused to price match a competitor. I can understand that as the company wasn't on the list of accepted price matches per the list online but their staff didn't even know who they could price match against. The biggest issue I had is the particular set that I was going to purchase was significantly cheaper on their own website than in the store and the manager still refused to price match the online price of their own company. way over priced in the store as opposed to their website. In store purchase price was $1700 but their website had it for $1133. At least the staff was professional.

They do not stand behind anything, even when they deliver damaged furniture. Required us to have them deliver and setup bed frame... Guys say their done we put mattresses on and hear a noise, look and notice the frame is broken. Delivery guys are already down the road didn't hang around. I call sales rep and ask for a refund...same day it's delivered he (Caleb Wolfe) says "once it's delivered it's yours to keep". Tells me they can't help me. I've had this $1,000 bed frame for 2 hours it's broken, never been used and I'm left high and dry.... I start asking around and no one has had a good experience with them... We bought a couch that last 3 months before bottom broke... This place is a offense to good business and needs to go under...
If you are looking for new furniture for your place this is where you want to come. Sales people will not following you around trying to make a sale. Instead they will let you browse until you are ready to talk. Great price and will work with you if they can on price. Its our second time purchasing from them. Stop in walk around and see for yourself.
Well I can say I will never step foot in another Ashley store again. I can not stand being told something only to be told something totally different. I was told the mattress I purchased had a 90 day sleep guarantee only to find out after I slept on the very uncomfortable mattress that the mattress I purchased didn’t have that guarantee. I was told multiple times it did while doing the paperwork. Also when they delivered the mattress, the truck driver couldn’t get down my driveway, which they have before when they delivered my sectional couch. The driver called my wife and told her he was not carrying it down the hill to my house. Very rude! Never again! Buyer BEWARE!!
Would give zero if could! Thet take your money then take months to get you your furniture! Then wobt give you your money back if you don't use your warranty!

My husband and I moved to the Bowling Green areaat the end of October. We needed a kitchen table because we went from an apartment (no room for a table just a bar like thing) to a house. Once we got settled in November we went to Ashley Homestore. The staff in the store were fantastic and made getting a kitchen table easy and a new bed. Our trouble began with the distribution center. I recieved about 7 phone calls total through this whole thing to schedule our delivery day for the table and chairs. The delivery day kept changing. One day they just randomly showed up at my door while at work. They rang our Ring doorbell. I told them I can be there in 13 minutes. They blankly stated they could not wait that long. Excuse me?! I waited and taken time off work everytime the delivery was supposely supposed to be scheduled and had this 8am to 1pm schedule window and these guys could not wait 13 lousy minutes honestly screw you. At this point I went into the store here in Bowling Green to speak to someone because I tried calling the store and no one would answer ( upon reading some of the reviews about them) apparently this is an ongoing issue with them not answering the phone. I spoke to an employee and thought we resolved the issue and they were going to schedule a delivery day for the first Saturday in January. Never recieved a phone call or anything. I called to check status and did not get a straight answer from anyone. My husband ended up calling and sorting it all out. The point is there is a huge gap in communication within this company's location and their distribution center. HUGE! The amount of phone calls, no shows, showing up unannounced and lack of information provided is unacceptable. Just overall the consistent back and forth B.S my husband and I recieved was utter ridiculous. My husband works in a customer service setting and I have in the past and the lacking of customer service care provided by both the store and the distribution center company Ashley Homestore uses is appalling. Also would it kill someone to have these delivery guys wear a uniform type outfits? Sweat pants and a regular Sweatshirt/Hoodie they looked like bums off the street. The only indication they were with Ashley furniture is the box truck stating so but still why would I open or want to open my door to people who look unprofessional. You can not be too careful these days. Get a professional look please. Sweatpants are not professional! They make work pants ( Dickies) or Carhart work pants.
Gabriella did a great job taking care of us when we purchased our kitchen table and chairs. We will be back to look at bedroom furniture in the future. I am changing this review bc I was told 2 weeks ago they couldn't deliver my table bc of the snow storm. It was supposed to be delivered tomorrow but I haven't heard anything so I called to check. Now they are saying my table that was there two weeks ago is no longer available.I can't get a manager to return my call.
Nice clean store, friendly and helpful staff. Definitely check online before you buy. I was looking at a kitchen table and chairs they had a display in store so was nice to be able to see it in person. But it was half price if I ordered it online and had it delivered to the house!!! versus buying it from the store and having it delivered to my house.

Great customer service in the Bowling Green location by both the manager and sales associate, Maura. They were not pushy at all and allowed me to take my time in making my decision. UPDATE....However, delivery and the quality of service to get it arranged has been horrible. I get a different answer every time I call and have changed my work schedule 3 times to accommodate for a couch I still don't have....
My wife and I went in Nov 28th 2020 to buy two couches. After a couple of hours of looking, income verification and paperwork, we were told that the couches we picked out in the showroom were not in stock and that they would be delivered to us on the estimated delivery date of December 26th. We agreed to it. Since last Monday, we have been trying to get ahold of "ANYONE" who could confirm the delivery date. We finally called another line and got ahold of a customer service call center. They informed us that there is no delivery date set at all, they don't even have the couches in stock. Now we are having to battle to get the almost $400 we've paid down back. The second I told people where I brought couches from, several people said I should turn and run based on their experiences with the Bowling Green, KY store. SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
The customer service is bad. I paid for 2 recliners on Oct 6, 2020. My supposed delivery date was Dec 10. On the 10th, I called. 9-11 additional weeks before I can receive my items. No sorry, no communication from Ashley. Not a thing. Their customer service is completely unacceptable. Even if I decide to wait on these, I most certainly will not ever do business with Ashley Furniture again.
They were all very nice and were able to help us decide on our couch. Will be using them in the future. Got the warranty plan as well with 4 kids it's highly recommended. Had a really good experience.
We went with my recently widowed mother to choose new living room furniture, something to cheer her maybe a little during her time of mourning. We knew we would have to wait a couple of months for delivery. Not a problem; everything is different and challenging these days. Delivery was scheduled for today, but only the loveseat and one of the several tables. Well, okay. As the contact point, I was emailed that it would be delivered in 30 minutes. I let my mother know. An hour later I got a phone call from the driver asking if someone would be home. I confirmed and called my mom again, letting her know they were close. I got another call from the delivery guy saying that they were there and knocking but nobody was home. I called my mom and she said nobody was at her door, and she went and double checked both doors. I got another call from the now very snotty driver still saying that nobody was home even though there was a blue truck in the drive. I told him he was at the wrong house and she had had no blue truck. He said that’s where his GPS took him. I told him he was at the wrong house, gave him her address and told him what business was next to her house to look for. He said he wasn’t delivering to a business. I told him it was a landmark right next door to her house, same driveway. He reiterated his GPS had taken him where he was and he had to follow the GPS. Excuse me??? What??? I said I didn’t care what the GPS told him, he was at the wrong house. I again tried to tell him how to get to her house and he interrupted me about his stupid GPS. I said “Listen buddy, you need to stop talking and start listening so you can get the right directions to her house.” And he hung up on me. Very professional! Coincidentally, my husband and I were in town looking for new furniture ourselves. We drove to Ashley and when we walked into the store I asked who was in charge. Shawn, the sales manager was. I explained the situation to him and he took us back to his office. I gave him the driver’s number. He called and the driver told him he’d made the drop off. He thanked him and hung up. I said there was a lot more furniture to be delivered and I didn’t want that driver because he was rude and my mom is fragile. The manager said there was nothing he could do about that. I asked what company they contracted with? He said it was third party (obviously) and it was out of his hands. I told him turning away future customer was definitely within his hands - because honest to God, we were headed there today looking for new furniture. He shrugged, told me I came in with a delivery problem and he’d fixed it, then gestured to the door and told me to have a good day. So, that’s that. No future business from this family. AND come to find out, my mom didn’t even get the one table we were told would be delivered - just a lonely loveseat. Who knows when that table and the rest of the furniture will come or where GPS will lead the driver... Lastly, they NEVER answer their phone without at least a 20 minute hold, so if you don’t have that much time to invest on hold, don’t bother.
Do not EVER purchase anything from this place. It has been chaos every since I made the purchase. First, the set delivery date they gave me came up and they hadn’t contacted about a delivery time frame, so I called the store, turns out they never added a delivery address to my purchase.. so booted to the back of the delivery line. Next, they gave a delivery date a month later, show up to deliver the couch and never even knocked on my door to bring it in. The only way I know they were here is I saw them backing out through my window. I have called 25+ times to try and figure out what is going on, everyone says they will call me back and I have yet to receive a call. Now they have that I wanted a refund on my account instead of a redelivery. I never once asked for a refund. I will be getting one now though. This has been AWFUL and the worst experience ever. I have been without living room furniture for over a month and made this purchase THREE MONTHS AGO, and paid in full at that time. I would for sure give this less than 1 star if able. Please save your time from them!!!!
Poor customer service. The store will not answer the phone when you call. Had problems with my patio furniture and bought an extended warranty when I purchased it. The warranty company says that is not covered and the store says it is covered. Neither side wants to anything about it. No one gets up when you walk in the store. Very poor service and they don't care about the customers. Still no contact from Ashley after a month from sending email based on the response below from them. Stay away from buying anything from them. Worst customer service ever.
On 9/12/2020, we ordered over $4,000 of furniture from this location. At time of purchase, three of our eight items did not have an estimated delivery date. Our salesperson told us to call Guest Response Team (GRT) to let them know we want those items delivered ASAP. Looking back, that seems so strange. Shouldn't they know their customers want their items ASAP? Anyways, I called GRT on 9/14/2020 and was on hold for 30 minutes. I did not have time to wait so I hung up and sent an email. To this day, I still have never received a response to that email. I called GRT again on 9/15/2020 and was able to get through to someone fairly quickly. She stated the delivery date for everything was November 1st. I called GRT again on 10/5/2020 for an update and was on hold for 33 minutes. I was finally able to get through to someone and she said that all of my items were unavailable and no restock date was available. I asked her how to go about getting our money back and she said we would need to contact the store we purchased from and we will get 100% of our money back. I called the store we purchased from and she said on her end, it showed everything would be delivered at the end of October. She asked if we were getting it delivered to Georgia and I said yes. She said oh that's the problem. I said what's the problem with Georgia? She said since our salesperson was so new at the time of the purchase, she oversaw that we did not live close to their normal warehouse and that our items will be coming from a different warehouse. So the lady I was speaking with on that day submitted a ticket to have the warehouse changed. She said they will answer her request within 48 hours and she would be calling me within 48 hours. She has never called me... On 10/7/2020, a different lady from Store Escalation called me and stated that all of our items were out of stock with no restock date available. She said she would be emailing me every Tuesday with updates. Yesterday was Tuesday and I never heard from her. While typing this, someone with Ashley furniture called me and said he noticed there was a cancellation ticket out for my order and he asked if I wanted to cancel or continue with delivery. I told him I wanted to cancel with a 100% refund. He said he will have to escalate that to the store we purchased from and someone from the store will be reaching out to me within 1-2 business days. Not holding my breath on that... This place has awful customer service and thousands of horror stories.

Dont bother buying from them, they scheduled my order 2x for delivery nobody came, first was Aug 18 and they even scheduled a “window” nobody showed up, then they said my furniture will be available September 22 and delivery is scheduled for September 23. Now there saying October 1st , i bought the furniture July 1st each time a different item is missing. I was a returning customer and this is the last time i will be spending my money here, pandemic or no pandemic especially after being accused today that i was yelling i gave them benefit of the doubt because of the pandemic situation but lying constantly pushing out dates and each time its a different item thats not available is way too much. Stay away. They don’t care about their customers. Regret not purchasing my stuff somewhere else. update: someone took my case and scheduled delivery for today(all my pcs were supposed to be available oct 1) , i told them i want all pieces not partial order, i have email as proof, what happened today? They tried to deliver 4pcs instead of 5pcs i don’t understand how they are operating like this my sectional needs a left arm loveseat and a right arm loveseat, they bring the right but not the left, this is all a nightmare. And i was very specific about not wanting partial orders. Now we are back to square one and “hoping” nothing will happen to the pieces while trying to reschedule a new delivery. And this the 3rd time im moving everything out of my living room for them. What a nightmare and experience this has been. Never again will i be shopping for furniture at Ashley’s. 🤦♀️
This is the first time I have ever had to leave a review of a business in Bowling Green. Dealing with Ashley has been a horrible experience. We ordered a bedroom suite in June and we were told delivery would be in July. We knew that upfront, so when they called with the delivery date, we went ahead and got rid of our old bedroom suite. Well come to find out, the automated system and everyone that works at Ashley were completely clueless. The bedroom suite was not available for delivery on the date they told us. So we were sleeping on the floor with clothes everywhere. Nobody seemed to know when the suite would be available. Our salesman moved to a different job (Understandably) so we had no point of contact other than the manager who had no real answers. So, eventually we did get part of our order delivered, but it is now the end of September and we still have not received the bed frame. I have tried to call all morning and not one person will answer the phone. If I could leave zero stars that's what they would get.

I have been a long time customer of Ashley Furniture with zero issues. I went to Store # 007 in Bowling Green, KY on 9/12/2020 in search of a twin/full bunk for my 7 year old. Upon arrival the manager directed us to a sales rep that has been nothing but kind. There were no displays of bunks in the store so she pulled up one online for $398.99. Item # B106-56. I said we will take it. I also found a kitchen table that I liked while I was there that was on display GORGEOUS . I already had a synchrony account so they were offering 60months 0% interest.....that day was great. The ISSUE arises the next day 9/13 when my son wanted to show his grandmother a picture of his bunk bed. I pulled up Ashley furniture’s website and the same bunk bed is listed for $222.99 ($176.00 less) So that had me curious if the kitchen table and chairs I ordered were listed cheaper and they were listed $149.09 cheaper online. I sent the screenshots to the sales rep inquiring about it. She stated that she would speak with the manager or guest experience manager to get it resolved. She was very nice. On 9/14 I had not heard anything so I texted and asked if she was able to look into it. She stated that synchrony would not allow price matches with 60 months but a shorter term may be an option. When I contacted synchrony the only stipulation to 60 months is a $1499 purchase so I told her that. I said why can't you get my total down to $1499 before tax? That wouldn't even be getting the bunks for 222.99.....That would be knocking off $149.99. They won’t offer a thing to make it right. I have also emailed Ashley furniture with zero response. This weekend I am going to look for both items to purchase and pay the cancellation fee just due to the lack of customer service. I already overpaid $325, whats $200 more? Advice to anyone that took the time to read this is DO NOT PURCHASE IN STORE... go view the items in store and order online! RIP OFF
My husband and I were looking for a new mattress. The sales associates spent over an hour with us to make sure we were getting exactly what we needed and wanted. I was impressed with the level of knowledge they had and how friendly they were. Thanks Ashley team!
This place has THE WORST customer service i have EVER dealt with in my life. Not once has anybody answered the phone. If I need something I have to drive there only to be told that nobody can answer my questions. On 2 different occasions I was given delivery dates that were non negotiable so I stayed home from work and no furniture was delivered. I ordered $6000 worth of furniture in June. 2 days ago I drove to the store and confirmed that my sectional would be here on August 21st and I was told it would be. Today I received a text saying it would be sometime after September 24th. This place is a joke. They do not care if you are inconvenienced as long as they aren't. Terrible staff. No communication. No service. Nobody cares. The people who are supposed to handle these reviews will not call and make anything right either. They literally do NOT care. Just wanted to add that whoever is responding to these reviews is also doing a terrible job. After finally getting a response we were promised that our furniture would be here on August 21st via email. We called the warehouse to confirm and they were extremely rude when letting us know that it would NOT be here until September 8th. Today is September 8th and I have yet to receive an appointment text so I know when to be home. When we went to the store yesteeday they told us that there was a note added to the system that says our furniture has to be delivered today and they would check to see what time it would be here and that they would call us by the end of the day. No call. We tried to call back and we got the same generic answer that everyone in the store likes to give us...."we can't get ahold of anyone who can tell us". The person who was supposed to call us back had already left for the day. I have once again used vacation time from work for no reason. This place needs to close the doors.
One star is WAY too much! I’m really not sure this place even qualifies as a furniture store! The local staff and sales seem like good people and I’m sure doing the best they can trying to weave air into furniture! The issues are at a Corporate level!! Every person at a corporate level should be terminated immediately..it’s likely way too late! I purchased a bed and mattress 6-14-2020. Delivery date 7-31! Mid July the delivery texts and auto calls began to confirm pretend deliveries! Finally just a mattress came..with no box spring...exactly what I asked them NOT to do! About a month later the remainder came but no bed rails so everything left propped against wall. Today bed rails were coming! Could this nightmare be over!!!??? NO!!!! There were no slats! It’s 9-4-2020, 3 deliveries have been made, COUNTLESS texts, auto calls and REAL people calls, and I am still sleeping on the floor! For more fun you can call the delivery folks to find out if something is ACTUALLY being delivered and wait on hold for 15-20 minutes! We spent almost $4000 and will end up at Lowe’s tomorrow to purchase wood slats to end this nightmare ourselves!! NEVER, NEVER again!!!
Horrible experience horrible customer service horrible quality furniture. All furniture has been damaged except for one couch. Sales people have hung up on us several times. If you call corporate you will be on hold for 30 minutes. Stay far away from the brand and especially the bowling green store

Extremely helpful in finding exactly what I seen online, within seconds! They price match which saved me about $500! Plus their warranty on the furniture is definitely a no stress situation! If you dont use the warranty within time, you get the money back! As I'm remodeling my home, the rest of the furniture will come from there!!

Google should really consider making Zero stars an option for terrible companies like Ashley Furniture. I rarely leave reviews on google, but I hope this review will help someone else avoid the headache that we have been through. This is hands down the worst company I have ever done business with. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, so you literally never get answers when you need them. We have been given 10 different delivery dates and we still don’t know when our sectional that we ordered in June will be here. Allegedly the end of September, at the earliest. Do yourself a favor and do not do business with them.
Do not shop here! We ordered a couch set in June and has been delayed several times. Now we received a text saying the couch won’t be here until September. And when I called customer service I was on hold forever and then just hung up on! So I called back again and had to wait forever just for a woman to get on the phone and be super rude! She might as well been chewing gum and blowing bubbles in my ear. And what really made me mad was they sent a text saying they were 20 minutes away the first time around so I rushed out of work only to find out they weren’t on their way at all! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is a joke and I will never do business here again.
I ordered a furniture set in May, 2020. I inquired specifically about any potential delays due to COVID before I placed the order and was guaranteed delivery in 4 weeks by the salesman. I have had my order delayed 4 times since then - they are now stating that I will not receive furniture until the end of SEPTEMBER. When I went to to the store to cancel the order I was told that if I chose to do so I would be charged a 10% cancellation fee (which I was notcnot informed of upon purchase) that can only be waived by corporate. Calling corporate has resulted in me being placed on hold for 15-20 minutes before the call hangs up, never speaking to an employee. This has happened 5 times in a row.
The sales rep that helped us was very knowledgeable and helped us get a great deal on a Tempurpedic mattress. Great customer experience that may have us shopping at Ashley again in the near future.
Most department store employees wouldn't follow you around asking questions when they are told that you are just browsing the store. Very irritating especially when I am looking for a specific item and have told the sales person that I was fine.
We were delivered the incorrect rails for our bed a month and a half ago. After calling their "customer service" line (which accomplished nothing) and visiting the store on four separate occasions, we finally got an item replacement ticket in. I received a notification that our new rails would be delivered in a month. That date just got pushed back again for the fourth time. We're unable to use the ergonomic base for our bed (which was also purchased there and installed incorrectly in a separate transaction) because of these bed rails. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else. Ashley Furniture is a terribly organized company with poor customer service. We gave them a second chance and never should have.
Courteous service
Ill start by saying the sales and customer service people are great. Unfortunately, the company is more concerned with selling furniture than delivering it to you. My delivery was pushed back several times due to items being back ordered (despite the system listing the availability sooner). One item was never scheduled for delivery with my other furniture. And when you call the 1 800 number to get information, you wait on hold for 30 minutes to be hung up on. The stores phone connects you here as well. Only order from here if you have an infinite ammount of time to wait.
they may have some nice looking furniture, but once you spend money there you may wait forever to get your stuff, even then it will most likely come in a little at a time. we spent almost 2K and now it is 2 months and still no furniture. even when you have a confirmed delivery date, they cancel it the day of delivery because they don't have the items needed??? I am sorry but that is just bad bad bad business.
Worst experience I’ve ever had buying furniture. Never dealt with a worse group of sales people. Wonderful people before we bought furniture, since then the most unhelpful, rude, and downright mean people you will come across. Still don’t have our furniture and have been given over 12 confirmed dates of delivery now. Mind blown at how rude these people are. Sydney Daughtry was our salesperson, she was nice at first but would not answer a single phone call for 3+ weeks. Then when she did she was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. The headache is not worth the decent furniture. Even employees at other Ashley Furniture locations have mentioned how rude these people are.
I had a pleasant experience in the store. Great selection of furniture. You should definitely be able to find what you are looking for. I love what I purchased however, I purchased on the 23rd of May. I was told. I would receive it would be in by July 8th. I have received texts messages to update me. Today I received a text stating my furniture would be in August 9th. So I called. You think you are calling the store when you dial the local number, however its not. The lady preceded to tell me my furniture will not be here til August 21st. I am so disappointed. I feel as though I have been deceived. The lady also stated the furniture receive date can be pushed out. It will not come in any earlier. That is just shy of 3 months since I ordered. They charge you to cancel your order. I have bought furniture from other places before and even them running behind it was only 7 weeks. So far my experience is negative. I want you to be aware of where you buy and dont make the same mistake I made. Have a great day.

Very disheartened with my experience with Ashley Furniture. I purchased $2,000 of furniture which was a bed frame, attached bench, headboard, and dresser. I thought the price would reflect the quality. The item pictured is the bench. It was delivered July 2nd 2020. Memorial Day weekend of May 2021, the hinges in the bench began to do what is in the pictures. It chipped the wood, and the lid fell off with the hinges. No horseplay involved I am a single professional. I contacted Ashley and they referred me to their customer care line. Fast forward to August 25 2021, my furniture is still not fixed. I had to fix it myself. They mailed me a part I received early this month, and I filed the claim at the end of May-first week of June. I have been very patient. What ticked me is the group they use to fix the furniture, Fast Furniture. They texted me a time 11-3 on Friday August 20th. I took off work and came home, and waited. They called me and I missed the call because I don't answer unknown numbers that say SPAM. The technician left me a voicemail which I still have stating he is on his way. He never showed. I called back within 15 minutes, no answer. I texted. I called. No response. Basically because I didn't answer the first time they blew me off. He never showed. I called the facility and they said because I didn't answer the phone he is not coming, but I called him back! I was too angry to communicate I hung up the phone and figured out how to fix it on my own. It's not perfect but at least I can close the lids now. I didn't bother to contact anyone further because I know the outcome will make me more upset. A piece of quality furniture should not do that after 1 year. They force the warranty on you too, which I paid for. Some warranty. The store also doesn't allow cash and carry, you have to order everything and you wait about a month. I'm sorry Ashley Furniture you failed this customer.
My husband and I went in today looking for a living room suite today in the Bowlingreen KY store! We dealt with salesman Juan Miner! He found just what we seen online that we wanted, matched the online price and we made deal within 20 min. Signed papers and paid and was out of the store in less that 30 min total! Will definitely go back!

Went to purchase a dining table and there were many kinds of choice and the price were competitive. The place were clean and the clerk was honest. Will come again to find any other furniture in the future.

Once home and I started putting it together. I realized its the wrong bed. When complained. I was told I have to go back return it and then wait on my original order and then go again to pick it up... I asked for the inconvenience they should now deliver it. Answer was NO. First purchase from Ashley Furniture. My normal furniture store was closed due to covid19. Ended up getting a king bed, dining table, and two accent chairs. Only time will tell of how good of quality the furniture is. But so far my experience has been good.
I took my time with Connie & she helped me a lot in explaining all about the different adjustable beds. She answered all my questions & spent quite bit of time answering my questions. I dont buy in haste & if you dont have time for me then i dont always buy so I bought adjustable bed which I'm glad I did cause I have acid reflux & it helps me a lot. 5 stars 4 Connie.
Our delivery date was supposed to be May 27th, just heard today that it will be June 22nd or after. When we said we could not wait that long (we literally do not have a couch) they said sorry thats all we can do. We ordered this a month ago. The sales reps are rude and said we could not cancel our order without paying a 10% fee. So upset as we have spent over $10,000 with them furnishing our home these past few months. We will never buy from them again.
We purchased a leather sectional in late feb for over $3300. Delivered march 25th. Every week we find something wrong with the sofa! One specifically that it is not all leather. We identified to the guy in the store that we may split it at times. Split the sectional into two pieces. We also reiterated that we wanted all leather, no pleather, no half and half. We told him about buying 2 recliners about 10 years prior and they were not leather. He said this was all leather and would last forever. Well when we split it, it has a plastic like material. So you can't split. We've also noticed it does not smell like leather. Leather always smells. Even old leather smells like leather. The ottoman was portrayed as being able to fit books and drinks on....you can't. It has already sunk in the middle. It looks bad and it's only 5 weeks old. The added seat .....you can't sit on. You roll left or right off it plus there is no cushion filling in the top corners. If you try to lay across here, you end up between two seats. After checking almost all top corners of cushions are empty. No filling. There is still an indentation of a circle about 5 inches on back of sofa that was there at delivery. Said it would come out as leather warms. All cushions you roll left or right off them. It came with 6 throw cushions. They just slide off thd sofa and they feel and sound like they have plastic bags in them. Even our dogs won't use them. Overall, the sofa doesn't reflect what we thought we purchased. For $3400 it should be perfect. I've tried to call the store several times with no luck of getting someone to answer. I've tried the customer care number, on hold forever. Tried several days. I realize there is a covid-19 store closing going on, but customer service should, at maximum, be answering their phones and be calling people to ensure they received what they ordered and they are happy. Bottom line, we are extremely unhappy. We cant reach anyone to resolve. We went into store to just buy a dining table. We wish we had just stuck with that. There needs to be some customer service/care . The sofa has been misrepresented by the staff and display. I've read other reviews where they say your out of luck once you walk out the door with your purchase. It seems that way. I will continue to try and call. Ashley store uoh should be able to identify who we are by the purchase date and price. I will continue to try and call and I will write a letter to the main office along with a complaint to the BBB. Long delivery wait time, pushy salesperson, overpriced
I would not recommend purchasing furniture from this location. My fiancée and I were looking for a new couch and found (what we thought) was a great option at Ashley, paid for the couch, then headed home to plan where it would go in our living room. After doing more research online and finding a mass of terrible reviews warning customers away from that couch, I called to cancel my order less than a day after making the purchase and was told I had to pay a 10% restocking fee just for cancelling my order but if I waited two weeks (before the couch came??) I could cancel the order and she would waive the fee. The whole situation seemed a little too fishy, so I went into the store to cancel my order where the sales manager basically called me a liar saying there’s no way anyone at that store would have said the restocking fee could have been waived, no matter the reason. The employee I spoke with on the phone joined us and repeated what she’d told me the night before, but immediately backtracked obviously sensing she’d made a mistake. After MUCH contradiction between the two of them, they finally decided they weren’t going to waive the restocking fee and continuously reminded me that I was going to loose out on $200 in an effort to “save the sale”. The sales manager, James, said that the fee could never be waived at the store level, but after calling customer service, I was informed the store is solely responsible for waiving the fee. With the exception of our sales person, Connie, the whole experience felt like being haggled by a sleazy salesman at a cheap used car lot. It was clear they were only interested in making a sale, which is unfortunate because we originally planned to buy a different couch with Ashley after looking into other options. My $200 is well worth never dealing with this company again. I sent an email to the one provided in the response within minutes of receiving it and never received a response. I assume it must be an auto reply and they never really intend to fix anyone's issue.
Great service from a very nice lady who took the time to show us around the entire store. Good selection of furniture too. Unfortunately, their delivery price is the highest of the places we went.

Walked in and was met by America. Yes, her name is America and she is friendly and had enough patience to put up with my indecisiveness. She wasn't pushy and gave me time to change my mind on a sofa 150 times. I received my furniture about 3 weeks later. 2 delivery people came in, setup the furniture and left. Easy enough. Once I had time to look at the furniture, I noticed legs were installed incorrectly, some were bent, the wood was scratched and there was a stain/gunk on a cushion. I called the 800 number and got a replacement setup. It was a little frustrating as the person who answered acted as if I was bothering her by calling in. I noticed the delivery was set for the wrong address. It took 4 calls to the 800 number and 3 calls to the store to get a promise that it would be delivered to my correct address. Delivery day came.... they were at the wrong address! I missed work to wait for the replacement! Another 2 calls with a manager named Sierra and I am once again promised delivery to the correct address. She was really nice and seemed to be on point. They offered a $100 credit for the inconvenience.

So I bought a table set for my new house and the sale person told me that “anything you buy here is a year warranty, so if there’s any damage during this year, we fix it or replace it for you”. But now later after 6 months or so we got water damage and they were saying “it’s not manufactured defect” that there’s nothing they can do about it. I’m very disappointed and mad that expensive table damage within a short period of time and big company like Ashley won’t take care of their products. Definitely not buying anything from here anymore and not recommending to anyone. Also telling my families and friends not to get anything from here 😡

While buying everything was fine. When my son went back to pick up part of my purchase it was horrible & disgusting. Two of the employees were very very rude, including CONNE, my salesperson. I bought something on clearance & was told by CONNIE to check the item before taking. My son inspected the clearance power base which did not work & had tears in it. He was told he had to take it since it was on clearance and there were no refunds. Also they were upset because he came on a Saturday to pick up the merchandise and they informed him that they do not allow that on Saturday or Sunday. I called ahead because on the day he was going to pick it up it was raining and the person that answered the phone told me it was perfectly fine he could pick it up on Saturday as long as he brought someone with him to load it. After a very uncomfortable conversation Ashley furniture did tell him they would refund the money on the power base. Why would they sell something broken and torn in the first place. I just don’t understand that. Needless to say that will be my last purchased ever from Ashley furniture in Bowling Green Kentucky on Scottsville Road
My daughter and I recently stopped by and purchased mattresses for our new home and were really pleased with the service. Connie, our sleep expert, was able to answer all our questions and guide us towards the mattresses we needed that were also within our budget. I really appreciated not being hard sold on anything, she just went where we wanted. I guess the only thing about our trip I didn't like was the Christmas music playing on literally the last day of January.

Salesman was fantastic I have no issues with the store itself but delivery is a nightmare and so are the customer service representatives especially Dimetria that work in the call center. She is extremely rude tall lie upon lie upon Y about the delivery truck Seriously if you are going to tell someone alive you might wanna learn how to stick with the same lie original window was supposed to be from on 11 to 4 today then they change it to 5 to 8 via email about an hour and a 1/2 ago I should have read all of the reviews 1st and went with my gut I even asked the salesman if everything would be delivered on time because I'd heard of the nightmares of this delivery service. Have another order that supposed to be here February 21st but I will be canceling that. Update on status: so far they've missed all 3 windows and the guarantee that it or delivery would be here By 8 o'clock also the driver called at 6 and tried to reschedule us for another day

Prices were fair and finance approval was simple (surprisingly simple). We picked up a new sectional and with the added financing were able to replace our old bed as well. James Hussey (goes by Matt) was easy to talk to and left us space to look around only coming back to us if we stayed in 1 spot to long to see if we had any questions about what we were looking at or when crossing paths walking around. The only two issues we had was a 3 week wait on the sectional delivery (very minor). Biggest was the computer crashing while finalizing the sale. We had mentioned that we were getting hungry at one point and Matt remembered this asking if we would like to go get some food while the system is rebooted. We left and came back to everything being finalized and within 10 minutes of getting back we signed the papers and back out the door. Eagerly awaiting our new bed and sectional.

Sales lady’s name was Connie and she greeted us as soon as she saw us. Price matching from Ashley Furniture online is always “tricky”. I found a sofa for $299 on sale but she couldn’t price match it because it was a different franchise owner’s sale. She did end up finding something that worked for me and she was pleasant to deal with so I was a happy customer.

Found a chair we wanted at a decent price during their 25% Off Sale. Started doing the paperwork for the sale and was then informed that there would be a $70 delivery charge. Told them that we would just pick it up at the store, but they said that wasn't possible. Deal breaker for us. NO SALE!

I would tell every person that asks to stay AWAY from here! This entire company is horrible. I was mocked, belittled, and then refused a refund and cancellation of my order. 5k of my money they STILL have not refunded me, going on 3 weeks ago that I cancelled my order. They would not do anything until I came into the store and demanded the refund for a week straight, every day I had to confront them. Once I got ahold of corporate and they gave me a receipt for my refund, I still have not received my money....2 weeks later.

Really enjoyed my experience and the amount of help that was provided had a 20% off but i also was looking online they made sure i got the best deal and when you dont have alot of money it counts for alot..
Experience in the store was fine. Knowledgeable associate, friendly, good product selection. Delivery process was AWFUL. It took 3 attempts for them to understand that in order to deliver our Tempurpedic mattress, there had to be something to put it on. They tried to deliver it twice, maybe thinking we were going to put a $4,000+ mattress on the floor? After the first time, they assured us it wouldn’t happen again. Then it happened again. During this whole process, someone had to be home for the three-hour delivery window (and twice they attempted delivery 1-2 hours earlier than delivery window!) four times in total. It was truly terrible, and I will never shop there again. I love the furniture we bought, but nothing would make going through the disastrous delivery process again worth it. It’s a month of my life I’ll never get back.
SECOND UPDATE: On September 13th I finally spoke with someone at the store who claims that they have finally canceled my order. I guess they only have one person at the store who cancels orders so when the guy told me my order was canceled on the 7th it was not actually canceled. I was told it would take 7-10 days for my money to be returned on my debit card. We are now 20 days from when I originally canceled my order and 14 days from the second time my order was supposedly canceled and I have still not received my refund. I am dreading contacting the store again because I just keep getting the run around. At this point I am unsure what to do and feel like this is bordering on theft. Do I contact my bank and dispute the charges? I want my $543.00 back. Who would have thought a simple furniture purchase would turn into such a nightmare. UPDATE: Apparently when you leave a bad review they have an “escalation team” reach out to you. Well I just spoke with someone from that department and what a joke. I canceled my order last Saturday after this whole thing went down and was told it would take 7-10 days to have the money back on my card. Today while speaking with this lady I discovered they still have not canceled my order even though Mathew at the actual store told me it was canceled. So now we are looking at 7-10 days from today before I get my funds back still with the “10% restocking fee” taken out. Not sure how you are charging a restocking fee when you don’t even have the item in stock. Absolutely disgusted with the way this has been handled. Worst furniture buying experience I have ever had. We purchased a tv stand/ entertainment center on 8/31/2019. We we purchased the tv stand the said it was in stock and that we could have it delivered 2 days later on the 2nd or that we could pick it up at the warehouse in Nashville. We choose to have it delivered Saturday the 7th because That was the only day we could arrange to be home. Well this morning less than an hour before it was supposed to be delivered I get a phone call telling me they don’t have the item anymore and that they won’t have it until the 17th. I called the store to find out more and to see if they could figure out why the no longer had the item they sold me available and were only able to find this out less than an hour before delivery. Matt looked up the item and said that he sees it will be available on the 12th and we can have it delivered then. After the way it went down today I don't really have faith that the item will actually be available on the 12th and will probable be given the run around again. So I said just cancel the order I need a tv stand before the end of this month. Turns out that they require you to sign a piece of paper during purchase that you will be responsible for a 10% “restocking” fee even if you cancel the order because they don’t have the item in stock after telling you it was. Just all around terrible customer service. They honestly don’t care and I will never be giving them my business again.
I like going to the store because everyone is really helpful. Without being overbearing. They give you the space you need to look around then when you need help they are there.
People in the store are wonderful. However, delivery and customer service is a joke. They were supposed to deliver our couch on September 3rd, the driver called and asked if they could deliver on the 4th due to Labor Day on the 2nd. After not receiving anything on the 4th I called and was told that my couch was not even at the warehouse yet and that they would deliver on the 18th of September. On the 18th of September I get a phone call at 3:08 pm from a driver stating that he is at my house. Never did I get a call stating what time he would be there, or that he is on his way. Driver waited 10 minutes and left before I could make it home. I was on my way and called the driver to tell him I am almost there, his response was that I should go back to work because he left. Now I have to wait to get my couch delivered AGAIN. I called customer service and they kept repeating that I missed my 15 minute grace window to get home, wouldnt let me talk to the manager. Once again, this is all online and delivery issues. People at the store are amazing.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will never purchase from them again. After paying for my dining room set I was called a couple days later saying the guy had gotten me approved for the loan we discussed. WE NEVER DISCUSSED A LOAN. Then the day of delivery they were hours after the window they scheduled. The women that answered the phone said, “stuff happens. I don’t know what good talking to a manager will do for you.” This is a time I wish there was a no star option.
Honestly the WORST place to order furniture. I ordered a whole bedroom set in which they told me it would be in 2 weeks from ordering. 2 weeks come and they arrive with everything except my HEADBOARD in which I need to put my whole bed together. They claimed it was on backorder, the deliver guy asked if the store had called me, they hadn’t. He claimed they usually don’t because they don’t care. It’s been a month and a half and I still haven’t received the headboard. I’ve called the store and corporate and no one seems to care. I have finally received a call saying it will be here within another month. THIS WHOLE PROCESS HAS BEEN RIDICULOUS. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN.

Great experience at Ashley HomeStore in Bowling Green KY! We had a super sales consultant -- Connie Anderson -- very knowledgeable and competent and so easy to work with -- not at all pushy. I would definitely ask for her if you go in to the store.

They are thieves and liers! I will never buy anything from them! They lied about the extended warranty. I paid 169 dollars that they told me was refundable if insurance was not used. Now they are saying it was store credit that expired in 3 months. I was never told this.
I love being in the Bowling Green store location. Amazing people. But both times I have bought furniture with them I have had an awful experience with the delivery. First time I spent almost $2k and my furniture was supposed to be delivered two weeks later. Long story short, it took over 3 months. They wanted to just deliver 1 chair of my 5 piece dining room set. The struggle just continued. This time, I spent over $2k on a sectional sofa and rug. The wrong rug was ordered. The sectional was delivered on the day we scheduled :-), But... no legs, as well as the base being scratched along the whole length of the bottom and sides. They informed me that I could wait 7-15 business days to get them. I informed the lady that I didn’t pay thousands of dollars to display my furniture not be able to actually use it. They figured it out and brought my legs the next day. Well this time the semi truck pulls in the driveway, hitting power cords and cable cords, pulling all of them out of my house, as well as damaging the actual corner of my house. The driver then acted like he doesn’t understand English. Then he informed me to put the legs on myself. I informed him I didn’t have the tools. He put the main screws on them, but not the remaining bolts. I told him they were supposed to be on there and he told me I didn’t need them and left, so I had to put them on myself. They didn’t give me any numbers to call about the house or the electrical pole the driver hit. They flippantly told me that someone will fix it and left. I have gone all weekend with no internet, cable and phone. I work from home, so it was a HUGE inconvenience, not to mention, costing me money. I am SO upset with Ashley Furniture for their complete disregard of correcting these damages caused by their driver and inconsiderate attitude. A police report was filed and two days later, I’m still waiting for Ashley (corporate) to contact me. Buyer beware!!

DO NOT BUY HERE they lie lie lie even customer service bites thier all willing to bend over backwards during the sale process and pretend not to know you after that and even though that cant get you what you want in timely fashion they charge you 10% to cancel the order when they don't even have it in stock. If you do decide to purchase from them just know your on your own!!!!!

They don’t pressure you into buying, however are near for questions you may have. An excellent in store credit. 12 months up to 60 months no interest! My mother co-signed for me and was the best decision I made. Beautiful furniture that will certainly make your home feel warm and inviting. Best furniture store of all time! And what makes a great business is a great staff!

I went in today to buy my father-in-law a recliner. The manger took us to where the bulk of the recliners were. Everything was going great. We found a recliner that we were ready to buy for a really great listed price. The man knew which one we wanted. When I told him this was the one, he said "Someone messed up the listed price on some of these. On the back is the real price.". When I told him I wanted the listed price, which he could have relaxed and corrected if he knew it was wrong. He just said, "There's no way I'm selling you that recliner for that price." This was dishonest. I drove down the street to Ford's Furniture where they had truth in advertising, not a bait and switch. We've bought from Ashley's Furniture before but won't go back to this store.
I had an accident with a cushion of the couch I very recently purchased. I bought the extended warranty. I went into the store to ask if the warranty covered the issue, they told me it didn't. That's fine. I was told I needed to purchase a replacement cushion by the manager in the back. She told me to call a number and that they couldn't order it for me there in the store. I called the number she provided. They said I needed to call another number. I called that number, they told me I needed to call back to the original number. I call back there, they finally get me to the correct person to order the replacement cushion that I need. The customer care person I spoke to told me the local store should have been able to help me. She stated they were able to call in the order for me, she wasn't sure why they wouldn't have. After ordering it, they cant take payment. So...YOU HAVE TO GO BACK INTO THE STORE to pay for it. At this point, I've taken the time to drive to the store, spent at least an hour and a half on the phone. It's been a couple of weeks since I ordered it. I finally have the time to go back into the store to pay for the thing. I tried calling the store, at 10:45, 11:00, 11:20, rings and rings, no answer. Call the corp office to see if they can confirm the order is still valid. They give me another number to call. I call that number, they're closed even though its within their business hours. Called back to the local store. They finally answer. She tells me they have the cushion order in there, but not the cover for the cushion and that I NEEDED TO CALL BACK TO THE OTHER NUMBER TO ORDER IT. I told her the message says that they are closed and that I cant. She says "they're not closed, just keep trying to call". I share with her the struggles I've had to try and order it and she doesn't care. She keeps telling me she doesn't know the product number. I told her that when I called the customer care number originally to order it, they told me she was able to order it for me. She just kept saying "no, I cant" and that she was going to follow her stores procedure. So your stores procedure is to have your customers just through hoops for any kind of help? To not help their customers after they drop thousands of dollars at your store? Your store obviously doesn't care about their customers or getting repeat business. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here!
Absolutely the worst experience we've had buying furniture. From the sale to the delivery. Had we known, we would have gone elsewhere. Never again. Save yourself a headache and don't shop at any Ashley.
My husband and I recently went to Ashley's Furniture In Bowling Green looking for a sectional. We were greeted with a very kind woman named Sheree. She was very knowledgeable on all the furniture and answered all our questions. She was a blessing to talk with and helped us through the whole process of purchasing a sectional for our new home. Bowling Green Ashley furniture has been by far one of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made. We purchased a sectional and entertainment center January 1st and finally recieved the entertainment center at the end of January. We waited nearly 3 months for our couches before we finally cancelled and purchased at FMO (for hundreds cheaper). Here it is going on 2 months later and we're STILL waiting on a refund for the 300$ insurance they charged us for the couches. We have called several times, but in typical Ashley furniture fashion we have no resolution. This wasn't the first time we got burned here, yet we went back. Don't make my mistakes!
I strive to leave as many good reviews as I can. However, I have had a horrible experience with this store. Purchased a table, 4 side chairs and 2 end chairs in early January. Late February, we went and picked up the table and 4 chairs, and was told the two chairs was backordered, disappointed, but we got a new date another 1.5 months later. Asked if I came and picked it up if it would come sooner, and they said they no longer could offer pickup at bowling Green but if i wanted to drive to Nashville and pay extra sales tax I could pick it up a tad sooner. Obviously I said no. At this point, every shipment after this is now delayed by at least 3 weeks due to delivery time in rural areas and there is not a thing I can do about it because this specific store decided to stop allowing pickup. We got the table home, put it together in about 2-3 hours and it had a huge dent in it. Called and they said I needed to call the corporate (in a very i don't care voice). Called corporate and they put in a ticket and was told they would call me back. Waited a month and still nothing so I called and asked about it and they stated that's weird they should have called, I will put in another ticket. Asked about the chairs and it was backordered again, have to wait another month. Called a month later and still no chair or call back about bad table. Called them and was told table was backordered and was delayed another month again and that is why they never called despite being told they would, but got positive news that I will finally be getting 1 end chair delivered in a couple days. Chair came a day late, but got one more chair in finally. So today, late May (5-6 months later) I have: - 1 broken table with no date of when a good one will come in - 4 good side chairs - 1 end chair 4 months late - A "promise" of the last chair coming in next week (we will see) The sad part is, honestly the $1,200 table we bought is not of the best quality either. It scratches very easily. The sales staff we talked to was very helpful, but management and office workers was 0 help in all of this trouble and came with a very not my problem attitude and 0 apologies on their part. I get that it's a franchise and a separate business technically, but a little empathy would have went a long way with me. Not even corporate seemed to have too much empathy. I suppose this happens a lot and their staff has built a kind of callus. It is very unlikely we will go back to this location if even any Ashley furniture at all. Good luck to the next buyer, hope you have better luck than me!
Hands down THE worst furniture buying experience EVER! Sales staff was about the only pleasant part of the experience. After the sale it quickly went downhill fast! Ordered on April 28th, delivery scheduled on May 8th. Delivery guys show up and open truck and it is haphazardly crammed full of furniture, everything unboxed. Recliner comes inside house, arm is ripped. Loveseat has scratch across arm. Sofa dented in and scratched on the back. Well no wonder...considering the way that truck was packed like a damn Tetris puzzle. Dining room table comes in, gouged across top and missing half the hardware to put together. One of the leaves missing too and delivery guy actually tries to tell me this table only has one leaf not two. Uh, no! I have a pic of what we bought. There is two. Then the barstools come in, screws missing to stretchers so they literally spin and will eventually cause chair to break without the screws to hold it together. Lovely! And they rock so bad on the floor so if you sit on them they rock side to side. Delivery guy actually tells us we can take em apart and reassemble ourselves to fix em or to go buy an area rug to put under table and that will make them stop rocking. Are you friggin kidding me? Finally they agree to take some of the damaged furniture back but say they don’t have space to take it all as they have more deliveries to do and that their customer service team will call in 24-48 hours to help fix the situation. Ya, that never happened! After waiting 5 days, I called the Customer Care team myself and was met by a very rude woman on the phone who said my only option was to switch out the damaged items and there are now no returns after the sale. I was like, “how the hell can you force me to keep damaged furniture?” None of it made sense. Also was irritating that no one ever reached out to us considering the complete cluster the delivery was and the fact we were forced to pay for their “white glove delivery” (what a joke!) After the less than stellar phone call with their 800 number I then called the Ashley Store in Bowling Green. Spoke to Verlinda. Sent pictures of everything via email. Was assured everything would be sent and exchanged. Finally got text that items would be delivered today. Went online and tracked and only two of the items are being delivered today. The table and the recliner. Seriously? Still waiting for couches and barstools. Honestly would love nothing more than to return it all and take my business elsewhere. This has been a huge nightmare!

Went in on a Sunday and bought a bedroom suite for our grandson. The sales man was friendly and very helpful. It will be delivered on May 18th and very excited. We bought our living room furniture from Ashley about a year ago and very happy with it. We always recommend Ashley to all our family and friends.
The buying experience was very pleasant. We went many times to check out different bedroom furniture. Every visit each sales person who assisted us was friendly and helpful. After buying the furniture, the problems began. They changed the delivery date last minute so we had to rearrange schedules 2x. The Ashley furniture people who set up our bedroom furniture did imperfectly. We called to request a repair. They contract with Fast Furniture Repair for repairs. Fast Furniture Repair has still not kept an appointment at the scheduled time thus almost 2 months later, and rearranging our work schedules many times, our furniture is still not fixed. Ashley doesn't care as they're not responsible for the other contractors short comings. Won't be buying from Ashley again.
I love the furniture but the delivery time was ridiculous. We were supposed to be the first delivery from 8:30-11:30. They didn’t show up till 2:30 then they left without any conversation or thank you and the front door wide open.

DO NOT ORDER! We have waited over 6 weeks for our bed. We set in the store and was told the bed was available. 3 weeks later we received a call the rails and footboard were no long available and that we needed to reselect our bed. We decided we didn’t want the bed any longer. We were then told we would incur a 10% restock fee for a bed we could never receive. We decided to keep the headboard because we were able to order the floorboard and rails from another company. Go figure. We decided to use the credit from the rails and footboard toward a dining room set and buffet. We were guaranteed the headboard and dining set would be delivered the same day. The dining set and buffet was delivered on Monday with no headboard. When I asked the delivery guy he stated the headboard was damaged before it left the warehouse. Later that day, we went to Ashley and they said,”Oh, we thought it was delivered.” So then they get on the computer and see that it was damaged. Since the item was damaged, they said we could have another item sent by Friday. I received a text yesterday,Wednesday, stating the delivery is scheduled for Friday between 9:15 am to 12. So I’m super excited. Then I received a call today, Thursday, the bed is not available until April 27, with delivery set for 30th. I asked the rep if this date was guaranteed and she said it was tentative. We ordered this bed back in March! This is a terrible way to do business.
Matt was really nice. Ashley had a few good choices for me today. Matt let me look at my leisure and when I found the floor lamp that I wanted he expedited the sale and got me on my way.

There were some great deals at Ashley, but I just had one specific issue with this location. We came in on a Saturday browsing for some living room furniture, and we were immediately approached by a VERY PUSHY sales lady (named Sheree I believe). I say very pushy because despite saying we just wanted to browse, she continued to follow us around the store like we were just a commission to be had. She was not personable, never even to bother asking what we were actually looking for, even interrupted our shopping to bring over a mattress expert even though we were not at all interested in purchasing a mattress. Overall she was obviously more interested in the commission check from our potential purchase than she was in treating us like actual human beings. She made the entire encounter awkward and upsetting for us. However, because we did find a good couch on clearance I decided to leave and come back later in hopes she would be gone. Thankfully we didn't run in to her when we came back and another salesmen really helped us out! HOWEVER, this location does not offer delivery which is something I found odd. So when we came in to come pick up our furniture with our truck the next day, Sheree was there again and made us uncomfortable once again and was even talking about how she was gonna make the salesmen split the sale with her because we were "hers". Ashley has good quality furniture and some good deals, but this location apparently lets sales people treat customers like a dollar sign which really put a negative shadow on our experience. I would go back to this location again if we could shop without the fear of being hunted... EDIT: I have decreased my review, and to be honest I would give this store ZERO stars if I could. Almost every employee I encountered at this store was so rude, could not care less about me or my time, and because of that I will never be back to this store. After I picked up my couch, we were told to wait a few days for our new recliner to come in. I never heard from the store, so six days later I called myself to ask what had happened. I was rudely told that "she was getting around to calling me" and it turned out that my chair had been delivered damaged and was sent back to the Nashville warehouse. I was then told I would have to wait another week for them to send a new chair from Nashville (which is only an hour away). So I wait another week, and I once again have to call the store myself because I heard absolutely nothing from them. This time they tell me that my chair is in, but it came fully assembled. My supposedly brand new chair came fully assembled because the salesperson "entered the wrong code" and it was sent to the store to be a floor sample... So at this point, I'm at my WITS END with these people so we go to the store and have to wait at the counter for like five minutes and then we're told to go around back and pick up the chair. I should've just told them to keep the chair because it was OBVIOUSLY not a new chair, it had a piece hanging off and a big stain on the back. Against my better judgement, I let them load up this chair and we leave and after talking to the manager on the phone afterwards I'm told they're going to be sending me a new chair delivered to my house for free. We also realized when we got home that they didn't give us the power cord either so it currently can't be reclined. Fast forward to today, I still haven't heard anything from the store. When I called them, I was rudely told that the manager was in a conference and that I could leave a message. I have zero faith that I will ever get this new chair, I have zero faith in this store, and I literally cannot believe I had a buying experience that was this terrible. EDIT 2: My power furniture began to malfunction less than 10 months after I purchased it, and it is now completely unusable. Once again, this store has no interest in helping anyone who isn't writing them a check so now after my terrible buying experience I have broken furniture. You will get ripped off if you shop here, end of story.
HORRIBLE!!!! Got a sectional. The sales associate and the manager repeatedly looked over the order to confirm it was correct as we sat on the floor model. They both confirmed it was correct. When it was delivered the wedge was missing. I told the delivery drivers to wait while I was put on hold with the store. They didn't wait. I was told it was never on the actual order but I could come down to the store and buy it. I told them I needed the manager. The manager called me back and offered a discounted rate for the piece with different financing. I told him I wanted it returned but because the delivery drivers left it couldn't be returned. Overall an unprofessional and awful experience. Whole thing seemed like a scam where they deliver partial furniture and force you to pay more to get what you want. Nobody at the company seemed concerned with making it right.

Found a bed and mattress that I really liked, but was worried about how much I'd have to put down to finance it. The salesperson went to her manager, and managed to get me zero down and no interest for 72 months. Only thing I wasn't happy with is it's gonna take about 3 weeks to get my bed, but overall I'm very happy with my experience here. Didn't think going in that I'd be able to get anything right now and they made it happen for me.

Worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing furniture there. Been waiting on two end tables since January and was told every couple months that they’re back ordered. I decided to call today for an update and was told the order was canceled due to them being discontinued. No one ever called us about that. Now we have a coffee table that came in August but no end tables to match. We bought a matching set and paid in full. I feel like we got screwed because they won’t take the coffee table back. The whole purpose of buying them was because I wanted the set. Not one piece. 🙄 I will not be doing business there again.
If you haven’t been in lately, please stop by. The store is under new management and everyone worked very hard to help us find exactly what we were looking for at a great price!

I am very disappointed with Ashley furniture. A year ago we bought a new mattress to upsize. Our order consisted of the mattress, box springs, and new bed rails. To sum things up, we waited far longer than Initially scheduled to pick up our order. It was at least a months time. Assuming this was just a bad experience, loving the selection, we chose to shop with Ashley furniture again. This experience involved a great assistant... BUT I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ITEMS. We were initially told the items were in back order from being popular demand. Understandable. Date to pick up became “no later than December 13th.” “Feel free to contact a week before as we might have got it early.” I called a week before and was told that I would receive a call when the items came and to “be patient”. When the 13th came we did not receive a phone call, email, or anything. When calling the store I am told that the side rails to my set came but nothing else has. So it’ll be “Next week”. Next week? Same story. I then received a phone call from what I assume to be a manager apologizing to me about the delay and offering delivery services for the troubles. Of course I agreed. The date of arrival was set for “no later than” Thursday 27th. 2-5pm. Just to get a phone call that “THE RAILS DIDNT COME.” I am so frustrated. Apparently we won’t get our things until sometime in January. When our bill will be due and we haven’t even received our items. Good luck to other shoppers.

I’m not one to post bad reviews, but my experience with Ashley in Bowling Green was absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a new bedroom suit on November 6th, all paid for up front, and signed papers agreeing to have it delivered November 15th. I was told I would receive a call from the movers when they were on the way. Early afternoon I hadn’t heard from anyone so I call to inquire on delivery. They acted like they had no clue it was to be delivered and stated that instead they’d have it delivered Friday or Saturday. By Saturday, we hadn’t heard from anyone so I call yet again and they tell us it will be here Monday now instead. Finally get the furniture delivered November 19th. The guys set all of it up only to find that they sent the wrong slats to hold the mirror onto my dresser. We get on the phone with the warehouse and I confirm and agree to have someone out the very next day (November 20th) to bring the slats and install them. By late afternoon on the 20th I hadn’t heard from anyone. I call and yet again, they act as if they have no idea what I’m talking about. Multiple times between then and now have I called, my fiancé has called and my mother has called. They’ve been unapologetic each time—especially the warehouse employees who act like they hate their jobs anyway. It’s now November 29th and I just received my slats via UPS because I did not want to deal with waiting on delivery men to install slats that I can install myself. I open the packaging only to find that they didn’t send the hardware to install them. My fiancé and I have tried several different bolts we have handy and none of them work, meaning it apparently requires a special kind of hardware we don’t have. Quality of the furniture is good but as far as customer service, this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had and I will not do business with them ever again. I understand accidents happen but the lack of organization and diligence on top of dealing with unapologetic employees has been beyond ridiculous. UPDATE: Today is 12-10-18 and still have not received the hardware to install mirror on dresser. PATHETIC!!!

I went in to pay for something I had ordered over the phone from the manufacturer. I was assisted by Cathy at the counter and was treated like absolute scum. She couldn't make it more obvious that I was inconveniencing her by the multiple sighs, eye rolls, and flat-out rude comments.
The salesman, Matt, was very nice and helpful. We were able to order our item. We had a little hiccup with them charging the wrong form of payment at the counter. It was resolved though it took some time. Overall it was a good experience.

If you are in a hurry to receive your products I would not recommend buying furniture from here at all. I ordered a desk, chair, and a dresser in August and it’s now November and I still have not received any of it. My order has been delayed numerous times and I have been having to do my college homework in the floor. I am aware their products take time for delivery; considering their store basically just exhibits their products. However, two months past the original delivery date is ridiculous.
We went to buy a table and chairs and two bedside tables. After we told the sales associate we wanted the table and chairs he started to get us to pay for it then and there. I told him we weren't finished shopping. He said furniture was buy one get one half price. We told him we wanted two bedside tables too. We asked about delivery. He said it was $49.00. When I asked if he could throw in the delivery fee he laughed and said he couldn't do that. So, I left because he was rushing us to pay before we were finished shopping. He was so anxious to apparently get a commission that he lost the entire sale.

I visited the store on May and I was assisted by Ms. Sheree she was amazing and very helpful. Everyone was very welcoming, Sheree helped me find what I was looking for easily and I was given a great discount. I bought a queen bedroom set and before I visited the store I wanted to buy it from another company but with Sheree I was able to save $864 and I got the set that I wanted from Ashley store with a great price and huge saving. I highly recommend the store and Ms. Sheree. If you can't find what you are looking for in the store ask them to find it online store so you will get to see more selection and find what you are looking for. Definitely 5 stars for the store condition, appearance, service, employees and the biggest star is Sheree.

That's number one for me after We had previously visited another furniture store & We were "bugged" the entire visit. Sometimes you just want to look on your own & I really appreciate her being aware of Genuine Customer Service. We chose a beautiful grey couch to purchase & she was extremely knowledgeable about the products, warranties, the sales event, & delivery methods. If you want to purchase anything here, make sure you bring your sales paper and calculator with you. I was overcharged for everything I purchased based on the sales online for my area code. When I called the store, I was told that they only honored the sales price if you told the sales person you wanted the price in the ad. Most of the differences were small, so I chalked it up to a bad lesson learned. However, the entertainment center that I purchased, was advertised at $979 with the fireplace and $779 without the fireplace. The total on the invoice was $993 and the itemized invoice said media stand "with fireplace option." My furniture arrived; there was no fireplace. I was told that "with fireplace option" meant that I could add the fireplace not that it was included. They charged me $220 more because I did not tell them I wanted the $779 deal. Beyond that is the delivery--a glass shelf was broken on piece, the handle is missing on another, one has a defect in the finish on the top, and one piece had a scratch on the top. UPDATE: PLEASE DO NOT THINK THAT THE DE-ESCALATION DEPARTMENT ACTUALLY DID ANYTHING ABOUT THIS OTHER THAN MAKE IT WORSE. THE STORE TOLD ME I WOULD RECEIVE A NEW TABLE BECAUSE THE ONE I RECEIVED WAS DEFECTIVE BUT THE DE-ESCALATION DEPARTMENT SAID THAT BECAUSE I ALLOWED THEM TO LEAVE IT AND "ACCEPTED" IT (EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM THE FINISH WAS MESSED UP ON TOP) THAT I HAD TO HAVE A TECH OUT TO REPAIR THE TOP. ALSO, THEY TOLD ME THAT THE "HOMESTORE SPECIALS" ONLINE ARE ONLINE SPECIALS NOT "HOMESTORE" SPECIALS. DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE TO ANYONE? NEVER, EVER, WILL I BUY FROM ASHLEY AGAIN!!!!
Do NOT shop here. I was asked if I wanted to purchase certain things, got told that the company I went thru wasnt good and product would only fall apart, but it was an ashley furniture piece. So the rudeness there was unwarranted. I got to where I was about to check out, and the cashier that wasnt even helping me decided to be rude and make fun, I ended up walking out crying, without making a purchase. This place is unprofessional and does not care about its customers. Will never be returning.

On June 7th, I had my new bedroom set delivered and I was very impressed with how smoothly and quick every thing went. I ordered a queen bed, dresser, and two night stands. I later decided to add the matching chest to go with the bedroom set. The chest was delivered on June 20th. During the delivery, there were two guys delivering furniture to two different apartments at my complex. One guy decided to carry the chest from the truck and into my apartment on his own to make the trip quicker. When he got it to the door he slid it to my bedroom on a sheet then attempted to carry it to the spot it was going to be placed. While moving it he dropped it and scratched 3 of the drawers and part of the chest. I told him I was not happy with it and that I wanted it to be fixed. He put in a work order and I heard nothing for a couple of weeks so I finally called and asked where the parts were that were supposed to be delivered and they guy put my address in wrong, so instead of being notified that I was not going to receive the parts, I had to call. The parts were finally delivered after having called Ashley's Guest Response team, who told me to call UPS, who told me to call Ashley's Guest Response team again. I called Ashley's on the 21st to see about having someone come out to put the new parts together to fix the chest and the woman told me that they would notify me within 48 hours of the parts being delivered. It is now August 6th and I have heard nothing, so I called Ashley's Guest Response team to be told that a tech will be notifying me about coming to fix the chest I received 7 weeks ago. I will never be shopping at Ashley's Furniture again.

We had our own time to tour the store, and once we decided on the furniture of interest, we got with our sales associate and she was able to provide all of the info we needed to make our decisions to purchase. Ashley's Furniture. The only thing they furnish is their store. The only thing harder to get than your furniture is the hold of a manager when your furniture does not arrive. The only feedback you will receive is none because you will have to call the store multiple times and they will NEVER call you. Will they call you back? Yes. Just about as many times as they will call you about moving your order delivery date: WHICH IS NONE. This is literally the worst experience as a customer that I have ever had with any business. It's like when you set the bar as low as you possibly can and still get disappointed. I was supposed to receive my order on the 7/8/18 for delivery. Never got a call to confirm delivery. Then when my order does not arrive and I call the store, all of the sudden the date has been moved to 8/8/18 and I have not been notified. THAT'S A MONTHS DIFFERENCE. What if I had already thrown my couch out? Should I go couchless for a month? I finally got them to promise the delivery for 7/14/18. Surely this time they would call me if anything went wrong. GUESS AGAIN. I waited around all day for my order like an idiot and when I called the store again they said it had been moved to the 21st. DO YOU KNOW WHAT A TELEPHONE IS? Do you need a history lesson? The telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1840 and is used to COMMUNICATE with others. And what do they offer me? A measly 70 dollar discount on shipping and a half sincere apology as well as an excuse as to why their manager isn't around. I am astounded that I have not been contacted by a manager and profusely apologized to. You can fully expect me to cancel my order and I am not paying a dime for any cancellation fees. I will never shop here again. If I could give ZERO STARS for this rating I would.
Had a great experience today buying a new Temperpedic mattress. Patrice was extremely knowledgeable and not high pressure at all. It was refreshing to have someone so helpful that was more dedicated to our needs than making the sale. We will return to her for any future furniture needs. Can’t say enough good things about the service we received. Kim in the business office was also great.

We purchased queen bedroom set on March 12. We were told that the delivery date will be in 1 to 2 weeks. After 3 weeks we received a call from Ashley customer service and said we need reschedule because the bed rail is on back order. The new delivery date will be at the END of May. Very stupid people! They want us to wait more at least 2 months to receive our bed! We were really upset because the salesman told us the delivery will be in 1-2 weeks. We refused to reschedule and went to speak to the Bowling Green Ashley store to cancel our order. The front desk accountants said if you cancel the order you will be charged 10% because you signed on papers that after we purchased something, they would deduct 10% if we cancelled the order. We asked to speak to the store manager Josh Gingerich, but he refused to talk to us. They call his name 3 times, but he was very rude and did not come to see us. He is really bad manager, and I wonder how they put him as store manager. At that time, we were very upset and spoke loudly and demanded to get full refund. The front desk accountant said Josh is not helping at all, so she called the corporate office and they agreed to give us a full refund without deducting 10%. We purchased 3 times from this store in the past 2 years and were loyal customers even thought we had cracked furniture and took them at least 3 months to replace it. If you purchase and pay, you then will keep running after them to get your stuff. Because of this bad manager Josh and poor customer service, they lost us forever. We will never purchase anything from this store.

Driver was late, but that’s not a big deal, the problem is that the 3 guys that showed up smelled just like a bag of marijuana, they hit the wall with the couch and put a gash in the wall, knocked a picture down and broke it, and then dumped a bunch of nails and screws in my driveway and did not attempt to pick them up!! Now I’ve called the store and the manager won’t return my call!! REALLY BAD SERVICE!!! If they resolve my problems then I’ll update my post....

This company is UNBELIEVABLE ! (1 ) the right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing !! We made a 4405.62 purchase paid in full for my handicapped mother and waited 10 days for delivery which was understandable. But they sent out a defective head board so the bed could not be assembled my mother at age 72 with severe rheumatoid arthritis had to sleep on the box and mattress on the floor ! Early next morning “we” call to get started on correcting the problem. They notified us that the correct head board was at the store and wouldn’t be available for delivery for almost 2 weeks later !!! I explained my mother’s condition and asked if there could be a speeded up process the answer was NO ! So I offered to come get it then they tell me that would void the warranty !!! They absolutely were not going to do anything to remedy the situation ! They were like talking to robots and repeating their words over and over till I just gave up ! I will never ever do business with Ashley Furniture ever again. Corporate got there money , sales lady got her commission that’s all that matters ! I will go elsewhere for the king adjustable base even if I have to pay more !! ...
Great transaction and friendly staff before the purchase. 19 days later, our mattress and base is 5 days late. Wife called to see about the status and customer service was very rude with her. So if I cancel my order now, am I still responsible for the 10% restock fee if they haven't unstocked anything?

I was impressed by the quality of the furniture that we saw and very happy with the prices. The only thing I was not a fan of was the “mandatory” warranty. With what we were purchasing it would have been an additional $400 dollars which depleted any of the savings we initially saw. We we’re told it was mandatory because there’s always a chance the furniture would be returned to Ashley furniture if we failed to make payments. I highly doubt our credit card company would have the furniture returned to Ashley furniture if that was the case. We were almost out the door before the sales rep came back saying they would waive that. I understand the company needs to make money but a “mandatory” warranty is unheard of. Any warranty I’ve ever had has been an option of mine to take. Other than that the experience was great. The sales rep was a little pushy but that’s what any sales rep is gonna do so I have no problem with that and we are very excited to receive our furniture and see it in our home.

We purchased Eneyertainment center, shine book shelves and study table. All on Thanksgiving Black Friday sale. We were told everything was available and in stock except the study table. Expected to get delivery before the New Years in Dec, within 1 m ( despite everything being in stock). We get delivery after the first of the year, after they come they tell us that they only had the book cases. The other stuff was on back order and we would get that in the next 1 m. After they left, we noticed even one of the book shelves was not assembled properly. When we called the delivery people we were told to go to the store. When we reached the store we were told they had nothing to do with the delivery. Since the people who delivered were contract and they did not even have a tel number go contact them. Now we were expected to believe them. Then the second part of delivery cane 1 m later, which was part of the entertainment center, they left the part in the box because after they came, they told us that they did not have the hardware so left the stuff in the boxes. Again we were told to go to the local store where we purchased, so we could order the hardware, which would then be fedexed to us. Once we received the hardware, then we call the delivery company again and they would send someone when the next delivery was possible. Now it has been three months since we had ordered and paid in full, and not received our furniture. Also, they made us sign papers that after we purchased something, if we cancelled the order they would deduct 10%. Here we are stuck having paid for the furniture almost 3 m ago and still not received it. If we cancel, we end up losing 10%, which will sum to a significant amount. We donot know how these people run their business. We had purchased furniture from Thornton’s furniture and that was delivered the same day. Never had this kind of experience. But we will never buy anything from this place where they want the money upfront but when it comes to delivery they give such a hard time as if they are doing a favor on us. WORST PLACE to ever get any furniture from. You will pay and then keep running after them to get your stuff.

The items were very well priced, attractive, and I was charged delivery and set-up fees for only one item. Amazing! I'm anxious to move in to my new place with all my new stuff! Dont buy their leather sofas or recliners!!! Their not real leather and the sales person lied through their teeth to my grandparents stating it was in fact real leather just to make the sell. 1600 down the drain !!! When i called about warranty they said they would have the correct dep call me within 7-10 business days and a month later i get a call only to be told im 1 week out of my warranty!!! Currently in the works of a lawsuit . You all should be ashamed taking advantage of elderly!!
We had a good experience shopping at Ashley furniture on Black Friday. We were able to get what we were looking for. The only down fall to shopping was that there was only one person ringing people up, and credit card authorization was taking a long time, but this was to be expected on a busy shopping day. Looking forward to our new sofa.

Love the furniture. Loved my salesperson. However, after buying 12,000 worth of furniture in one trip and ordered the wrong size on a comforter nobody would help get the right size on a 129.00 comforter. Sale is done and so are they. Makes the whole sales experience very bad. Thumbs down!!!
Don't shop here. They had bring 4 different tv stands to my house because everyone they delivered was faulty or not put together properly. And don't get furniture warranty. Product is crappy and if anything happens under warranty they won't replace anything.

The sales people were very nice and took their time walking around with us. The sales process went smoothly but it ends there. My delivery was postponed by 2 weeks, after I already had to wait 2 weeks to get it ordered, and then I still had to wait on 1 item. The branch that handles delivery needs some work. Their customer service is not up to par! Not being able to have a delivery time until 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery is not accommodating to those people that work. The follow up at the actual store was frustrating. The attitude that they seem to have after they already have your sale is poor and shows that customer service only happens when it is profitable! Hope they can make the necessary adjustments in the business for the sake of some of the nice sales people there.

Recently bought our first home and decided to check out Ashley Home Furniture Store - & we're glad we did! Our sales rep Dakota was extremely knowledgeable. He gave us plenty of time to browse the store of their inventory and pick out what was best suited for my wife and I. We cannot sing his praises enough. The prices and quality of the furniture exceeded our expectations. Would definitely purchase from them again!
This was the first and last time that I ever purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. I purchased a couch, rug and pillow from them back in November. I picked up the couch, it was still in the full wrapping and cardboard, got it home and started unwrapping it and there was damage in 3 places. Plus it was like they knew it was damaged because there was a clear sticky plastic on those places but not on the other places. I contacted the store immediately and they wanted me to bring the couch back and wait for them to order another one which I told them I was not doing. Once they ordered the new couch, it was a month before it came in. The other things that I ordered on 12/11/16 have still not arrived, a rug and a pillow. I have been told multiple dates that they should arrive but still have not arrived. Once I receive these items, I will not purchase anything else from Ashley Furniture! Their customer service is horrible. When I call the store to check status they tell me to call the Guest Response Team and when I call them, they tell me to call the store.

This was my first experience buying furniture. As my husband, my daughter, and myself were walking around looking, Patrice asked if we needed any help. We told her yes and she was AMAZING!!! She listened to all of our needs and wants. She was great with my daughter talking to her and playing (Which really made the experience so much better). We ended up purchasing more than we had thought but Patrice was just amazing in helping figure out financing details and she just made the entire experience worth it. I will be coming back and working with her, she is amazing and made a great impression on us. I cannot wait to get my furniture and once we receive that, we have a list of other things we need/want. By far this was the best buying experience ever! We were greeted by the sales associate, then he said for us to take a look around that he would come check on us in a bit. It was like buying a couch from a friend. I wish I could remember his name, I only remember that he was new. He was so approachable and very cordial to us. He told us stories about his family, which made me feel as though I was visiting instead of shopping for furniture. He respected my concerns, and showed us items that aligned with what we were looking for. I felt no pressure to buy what-so-ever! Also, I asked a million questions, and each were answered promptly and beyond my satisfaction. The store associates did not ask us to leave as the store closed, but continued to serve us until we were satisfied. They went over the delivery process multiple times to ensure we were aware of the process. I honestly cannot brag on this store enough! We definitely will be back!

My husband and I have been looking for a bedroom suite. We need the set now. We when to Ashley's home store. We where greeted cheerfully by Tony, he helped us to find the set I had looked at on line and helped and showed us, mattresses and foundations. we purchased our bedroom suite and stayed in budget. Tony worked with us to keep us and helped us, in so many ways. If you get by the store ask for Tony Lockhart he was awesome and helped us purchase and made us feel at home (so to speak)
At the Bowling Green Ky Ashley Furniture Homestore, I had a wonderful experience purchasing a sofa. The customer service department for the delivery service is horrible. Nancy was able to resolve the issue, the couch was delivered at the designated time and we are thrilled with our purchase.

Purchased purchase couch from here several years ago and it lasted so well we came back for our bedroom set. Cierra was great and really helped us find the perfect one.

We purchased the Navasota sofa and loveseat and three Pinnadel barstools. The manager gave us a great discount (our barstools were practically free) and was polite, but later in the process, she was pushy and rude when we declined their delivery service, which was an extra $60 or so. We told her we'd have my grandparents, who run their own upholstery business, pick our furniture up with their carpeted, enclosed furniture trailer. She replied with, "Well, everyone in Kentucky has a truck and trailer," and continued to insult their business and push for the store's delivery service. Luckily, soon after, we finished the process with a very polite associate, Todd, who take great care of us. He explained all our options respectfully and was never pushy or aggressive like his manager. If it weren't for our discount and working with Todd, I would have given the store three stars instead of four.

We purchased the Patola Park sectional couch from the Bowling Green, KY store. Todd Bratcher was the salesman that helped us and he was extremely helpful! He helped us get the design that worked best for our space and our needs. The manager, however, was very pushy and we felt like we were pressured to make a purchase without knowing our exact measurements at the time. The couch came delivered in great condition and on time. I would recommend my friends and family to go see Todd at the Ashley Furniture HomeStore.
I have called consecutively 3 weeks in a row to see if my couch has come in. I ordered it at the beginning of August and they said that it would be in around August 24th. The first week I called, they told me it would be in that Wednesday available for pickup Thursday. This has happened 3 times in a row that they have told me it would be available that Thursday for pick-up and it is still not there. Very dissatisfied with their service. I would rather them tell me that it would be in in a month rather than that week and it not show up. A person working at the store also told me that he could not lower the price on a couch I was looking for, but when I went back the next day, a different person lowered the price. Probably will not shop from Ashley's again, definitely not ordering from them again.

She asked simple questions to help me focus on what was really right for the room including drawing pictures on her pad to be sure the arm was on the right side. Never again will we purchase from this individually owned Ashley Furniture store they have Horrible customer service! We recently bought a soaf sleeper and when we received it it had a hole in it on the head cushion. We also just had a baby so we asked if someone could come out to the house to repair it instead of driving it back and unloading it and being without a couch for a week and then having to haul it back to the house. It being brand-new it should've never come to us like that and they are not willing to make it right. I have emailed pictures and called three times and talk to corporate.They said it was a holiday weekend so they would get back to me and they didn't get back to me I had to call them nothing has been resolved and we are very displease. I feel this kind of customer service is just unacceptable for such a large brand/Corporation and for the amount of money we have paid for the sofa sleeper to get it customized with a sleeper in it.
Had a very pleasant experience shopping for a sofa set. Sales team guided us in a general direction then allowed us to look in private. We then discussed options, pricing and warranty information. Delivery was when they promised (in a snow storm). Would recommend them as a stop anybody who is shopping furniture.
The manager was extremely rude. Had a misunderstanding and was simply trying to figure it out. The lady was rude and tried talking over us. Didn't help with the issue at all. Extremely unhappy with the customer service.
I was pre-warned that Ashley's had lost their customer service skills and were more concerned about the almighty dollar. However, I decided to give them a try. Let's just say let the nightmare began....they have ULTIMATELY the worse customer service. If you approach them it's as though you are a MAJOR bother. They are not interested in providing quality service. I planned to buy quite a bit of furniture from them as I just purchased a new home. My SUGGESTION take your money to the locally owned businesses who care about their customers and their needs!! There you're not just a sale OR A BOTHER!!!
I have bought all of my furniture from Ashley's, but never again! Horrible customer service after the sale. Customer satisfaction is low priority. Once they make the sale they are done with you! Deliver service is poor as well. Late and rude delivery crew. Furniture is good quality and they did refund a portion of the delivery charge, but I'm very disatisfied with the mattress that was rather expensive, but no one seems to care. Left several messages with no returned calls. I had to call multiple times to speak with anyone and then you have to call the corporate office, who could care less. Beware before you make a large purchase from this store!

The Salespeople were very friendly and knowledgeable as well as the delivery people who delivered the furniture. I was very satisfied with the quality of the sofa and recliner. I would certainly recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone who is shopping for furniture.
I will never again purchase anything from Ashley furniture. We purchased a Queen size sleeper sofa for $1099.99..first it took a month to get to us and then it was actually a day late as someone keyed in two trucks going to the same town on the same day so I had to wait and then put my neighbor out to accept the delivery as I had an appointment. Get the sofa and there's flaws in the material..loose threads all over and when I called and talked to "Ebony" she was going to send a rep out to "fix the material"..I said NO! I need a new sofa as I called this in less than 24 hours after receiving it. After numerous calls back and forth I finally was able to talk to Samantha and Shayna, and they did their due diligence and made every possible call and tried extremely hard to get this rectified. As of right now, the new sofa will be delivered 8/6/15, in hopes there's nothing wrong with this one as the delivery person is not getting out of my home until I examine this sofa with a fine tooth comb. Other than the last two ladies, I don't think Ashley's knows customer service or communication. This has been a total nightmare!!! To whom it may concern and all consumers: It was my first time visiting this store, I have drove 50 miles one way to go to this Ashley's Furniture HomeStore. When I entered it was like a museum, there was no one around. I seen a girl way across the room in a desk, she did not bother to get up say, "hold on", wave, nothing, she just sat there. So my son and I stood there a while and then there was an elderly man with a blue tooth in his ear, he looked at us and kept walking. I hollered, "hey!". he stopped looked and continued walking. I yelled, "Hey!" again, louder and asked "Are you a salesperson?" he said "Yes, he's trying to find me somebody." I see no one anywhere in the store, I asked if he could help me, he answered "No, he's trying to get me somebody." I had 3,000 dollars on me to buy a bed, that turned me sour and I told the elderly man "I will spread the word on how bad this place is." I am handicapped and can not find anyone to help because I cant walk the store to find someone, he apologized . sorry does not work for me, the elderly man should of helped me. I do not know if they have a manager or owner but I can see this museum losing money. It's not handicapped friendly. 5/20/15
Never again will we buy from this store. We bought a complete bedroom set with a post bed, 2 nightstands, a chest drawer and a dresser. The first time it was delivered, everything was scratched and the dresser had a 2 damaged drawers because the 2 guys who drove the truck did not secure the furniture and it tumbled over and moved during the drive. A week later they brought exactly the same damaged dresser, scratched with the damaged drawers, but at least the rest of the delivery was o.k. The delivery guys stank unwashed and like they were partying the night before, I had to air out my room. 2 weeks later we got a new dresser, with only 1 drawer not working, but without scratches. Now we still wait for somebody to call us, and schedule an appointment for repair. I called the second time customer service today, because we haven't been contacted by the repair guy after 10 days. I was told we haven't been in the system and the second party did not know about us. Story to be continued......
