The store has plenty of options but the staff are horribly untrained. After placing an order and changing my mind, I have been in contact with the store 6+ times and am unable to get the order canceled. In particular, avoid their salesman, Roy. I keep being told a manager will take care of it. It has been over 2 weeks and nothing has been done.
We absolutely love our couch and the service we got the moment we walked in the door! It was seamless and our couch was delivered not even a week after ! We are so happy !

Salesman was fantastic!! Spent at least 2 hours with me! It did take a long time to get the bedroom set in. Ordered in Aug. but I am still waiting for the bed. I know it is the manufacturer so Ashley is not to be blamed.

I already knew what I wanted when I went in the store because I had looked online. The salesman was very gracious and gave us his phone number in case we had any questions or problems. Our dining table and chairs were not in stock but we were given an approximate date for delivery. I liked that I could receive texts about my set and I could set up delivery online. The delivery guys were prompt and quick. They cleaned up all their mess and made sure we were satisfied with everything.

Ashley furniture in Florence Kentucky sold my 21 year old daughter furniture. Told her it would be in within two weeks. She called the sales associate,Roy Strader, prior to us driving 3 hours, to ensure the furniture was in and he stated yes. Half way into our drive, he called to say he made a mistake and didn't order the furniture and it would not be in for another couple of weeks, but she could take the floor model or get free delivery. We chose free delivery. He said he would call to let her know it was in and set the delivery date. He never called. My daughter called multiple times and he was always *on lunch* and would call her back. Needless to say, I finally called a week later and spike to "manager" Dave who was hateful and told me he was going on vacation for a week and couldn't do anything until he came back. I argued and told him to cancel the order since he didn't want to help at which point he begrudgingly looked up her account. Then proceeds to tell me the order was canceled because Roy told him we drove down there and didn't like the furniture and changed our minds. Which wasn't true. Plus, had that been true.. why didn't you refund her money? All lies. He then told me the order had never been placed. He said I could place it that day but still couldn't get free delivery as it's a third party contract and that it would be 2 MONTHS before her furniture came in. I canceled the whole order and he hung up on me. Worst business transaction I've ever had.

I brought my daughter and son-in-law to look at dining room sets for their new home. Dale was our first point of contact and he was extremely nice and helpful. As my daughter and her husband discussed a dining set they might like, Dale introduced us to Roy and he was just as nice and helpful! He was able to get my daughter and her husband an exceptional deal on an 8 piece dining set with a 5 year warranty and delivery. They even postponed delivery until mid-October when they close on their home. We will definitely return when their new home is finished being built and they can purchase the final items they need for their home. We bought a couch and loveseat off the floor here and when it was delivered it didn’t have the cords with it. The delivery is very expensive and we had to drive over 2 times to get the cord. Was not happy!

Walked into to Ashley to see about bedding and was greeted by Dale, who was great. He had us do a sleep a test. Will likely be back to get a purple mattress after learning of the gel flex technology. Very friendly staff over all, would recommend seeing Dale for all bedding needs and furniture.
1 month out of warranty and they turn a blind eye to the table is literally peeling up. You'd think they'd want to take care of their customers, but apparently not. If it was MY furniture store, I'd want to keep a good reputation. I'm including a few pics of the surface. This table was not abused in any way and only mild dish soap used to clean it **follow-up. They responded as if they were going to take care of the issue, but the link they gave was to an automated response once again just saying my warranty expired. I implore you, shop at a company that actually backs the products they sell

My salesman was great, super helpful and informative. However the details of when my furniture would be delivered were incorrect. It ended up taking an additional 2 weeks which made it almost a month before I received my items. The delivery men were exceptional and shared my excitement once I did receive my items. Nothing is perfect but I would still suggest more accuracy in delivery time frames. I LOVE my new couch and chair!

****Update**** Sofa is still not fixed. We are going on a year now of a being jerked around by customer service. On July 29th I was charged $321 by Morris to have yet another service person come out and repair the sofa ( a 3-4 hour job) and have yet to see anyone. I called today to be refunded for the money I paid because I am absolutely SICK of dealing with Morris/Ashley and their third party repair company (US Quality) which is also a JOKE and now they are REFUSING MY REFUND. I've asked to speak to a supervisor about this for 3 days now and have been told nobody is available to take my call and nobody calls me back. HORRIBLE. I purchased a $3000 sectional sofa here in 2021. Not even three years later almost all of the seat decking under the cushions have either torn or ripped out completely to the point you can't even sit properly on the sofa without sinking to the floor. I've spent the last 6 months trying to get these replaced/repaired and was told they are not covered under any warranty that I purchased along with the sofa (5 year extended warranty). Finally today, from my out of pocket cost Ashley sends a service tech out to repair the sectional and I'm told he wasn't given enough time so he can't do the job. He also tells me he has never seen a more poorly made sofa. He called it a "covid special". WHAT A JOKE. I guess now I'm just supposed to deal with a broken $3000 sectional that I can't even sit on. You can't even actually speak to a customer service rep, everything has to go through chat or be submitted via email. Do yourself a favor and GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!

My fiancé and I purchased a purple mattress last weekend at the Florence location. Our sale guy was Cole and unfortunately our visit was a bit frustrating. Cole was all over the place, very scattered brain, it was a hassle and everything took way longer than it should have. Due to this he messed up our delivery by putting wrong information giving us a bronze delivery when we paid for platinum delivery. Right before we were leaving he asked my fiancé to scan a QR code to do a review on his performance for that day and instead of letting my fiancé do the review Cole went ahead and gave himself 5 stars before my fiancé can give him the “proper” review. My fiancé even told him “wow you’re really going to go ahead and give yourself a 5 star review” the next time we purchase from Ashley we will make sure someone else helps us out!

We were able to find the exact bar stools that we wanted for our new home and the salesman indicated that there was one in stock and the other needed to be ordered from the warehouse and they would deliver when the second one arrived from the warehouse. Ordered on 5/20. Three weeks later after checking again with the salesman, he assured me that it was on the way. Again no communication from salesman. Finally received an email requesting a delivery date. Another week and finally received delivery of the bar stools. The stools are excellent, but communications were/are a problem.

My purchased items are just what I wanted. However, they cancelled one of my items saying they couldn't sell at the price quoted even though the sales person was a long time employee. Then they offered a gift card and then didn't follow through.
4+ MONTH FOLLOW UP: DRESSER STILL BROKEN AND NOT FIXED I love the selection and prices here and have been a customer for many years. My most recent order arrived damaged and contacting the crew to get someone out here to fix it has been difficult. A tech is scheduled to come out and look at the damage but as of now we are not using the brand-new item I paid for; it's just taking up room in the house. If the item is fixed, I'll come back and update the rating but for now I am rather annoyed with this latest experience. This does not affect the rating at all but the sales associate we had actually suggested I "pick up the largest item myself" even though I was paying for delivery on the entire order because they have been having issues with the delivery services damaging items. When I audibly laughed out loud and questioned why I should move the most difficult item myself and pay for delivery on the smaller items he looked a little puzzled. If you are having issues with a delivery service you guys hired that's on you not me. Don't suggest customers pay for delivery and pick up their own items because you guys are having issues... that's absurd.

My experience wasn’t so great My salesman Cole promised me certain dates and did not follow through I had to go in store multiple times I wanted 2 storage units for my bed. He only ordered 1. My bed showed damaged. Finally bed came and they forgot to load the bed slats which is the base of the bed Had to wait 2 more weeks. I had to sleep on my living room floor for a month. So disappointed it was a disaster in store and the table I ordered online came im different days screws were stripped table is wobbly
What can I say, we certainly are glad that we walked through multiple stores, although, we did end up right back where we started. Our salesman, Roy, was fantastic! He gave us time to browse and never hovered. When we did have questions, he was Johnny On The Spot. Thank you, Roy. We can't wait for our couches and recliner to arrive!

If you ever find yourself in the position that you need or want new furniture do yourself a favor and stay as far away from Ashley furniture in Florence, Ky as possible. We went on Friday to look at a couch/ love seat set and were given a quote of $2358.49. We were still looking at a couple of options so we went back on Saturday and purchased said set and paid in full. Sunday evening we receive a text saying that our order was delayed due to a balance of $585… We have been trying to get in contact with a manager since then and have even went in store to try to resolve this issue.. Turns out they “put the wrong tag” and they realized an hour after we left Saturday according to the salesman Roy, however, no one could bother calling or texting to notify us that the amount we paid was incorrect. The general manager refused to honor the price tag that they had placed on their furniture for at least two days and expected us to pay for their mistake. Absolutely crazy. 😡🤯

Roy Strader made our furniture purchase experience practically seamless. He assisted in finding the exact dining room table we wanted (even though it wasn't in their showroom) and even found the perfect sectional for us. He stayed behind to assist us with our purchase even though it was at the end of his shift. He also checked in with us regularly to make sure our delivery was scheduled correctly, and we were happy with the purchase. Great customer service is so rare these days, so I wanted to give him kudos!

When we walked in the store we were greeted by a young salesman named Cole. He asked if we were looking for anything in particular and we let him know we were looking for a counter height 8’ table. He directed us to a new arrival that suited our needs almost perfectly. After asking about delivery times, pricing, etc we decided to purchase the table set which should arrive just about when we need it. We set up 12 months same as cash to have more control over delivery time. Cole was very polite and informative. Anything he wasn’t sure about he looked up on the computer for a quick answer. We would definitely buy from Cole and Ashley Furniture again.

My experience with Morris and Ashley Furniture was a breeze. Sarah was very helpful with assisting me while making my purchase. She kept me updated on the delivery process when my order was delayed up until the new day my order was coming to my home. The delivery team was nice and they were efficient with their service. We had a smaller space, so needed a small-scale sectional. We found what we wanted online and went to the store to order. The two end chairs of the sectional were delivered damaged and with the wrong backs in them. At first they wanted to repair them, but I was insistent that they were replaced, since they were delivered damaged through no fault of ours. Four months after our initial order we finally have all the pieces.
I had a great experience shopping here like I always do thanks to the sales associates Cole Meade and Sarah Growney. Look for one of these two whether you plan to buy or you’re just looking around. I bought a lot of furniture to fill some rooms in my house and managed to get some good discounts. These wonderful young adults had great knowledge of the products I looked at and managed to answer all of my questions effectively. They are also very disciplined sales associates. I appreciated the fact that they weren’t pushy, desperate or stalker-ish like I see with a lot of salespeople out there. I’m usually not very ambitious when it comes to writing reviews, but wouldn’t feel good about myself with giving these two the public shoutout they deserve. Keep up the good work Cole and Sarah!

One star is one too many, no service for furniture that's supposed to be under warranty been trying for 4 months to get service to no avail they tell us someone will be out and give us a time but no one shows this has happened 4 times
It would be really nice to be able to just browse the store without fighting off salesmen. When approached by a salesman (who interrupted a conversation), we told him if we needed him we’d find him. He then rudely said “you don’t have to be rude”. We left. Won’t be back.

Horrible experience. They sold me a couch that was discontinued and which they no longer make. Had me sign up for a line of credit for a couch they knew I wasn't receiving. They never even called to tell me. It took waiting month and me calling them to learn of the situation. Thankfully the card I signed up for is accepted at other furniture stores. I got my couch from furniture fair in 3 days. I would definitely avoid this store! By the way they still have the discontinued couch on their sales floor at full price. Shaddy!
Stephanie vanbenschoten help us a lot she was amazing, she greeted us but did push anything on us or follow us around to get a sale. We bought a sectional from her. If you ever go there ask for Stephanie you won’t be disappointed.
I advise do not purchase with Cole (very tall skinny white man). He completely messed my furniture order. I told him I wanted to purchase the cofffee table and the coach shown in the display. Tells me it will arrive on the 8th of December. 4 min later I see it has matching end tables I find him tell him to add these tables as well. Calls me to confirm delivery. He puts the wrong address! Already ONE mistake made by him. Tells me he will call back. (It’s been 4 days) No call back I call the store speak with the manger she informs he did change the address. But, Shanda informs me that he has 4 different table listed! SECOND mistake he made. Shanda fix’s my order tells me these couches will NOT be delivered until 24th of December. THIRD mistake he made already. Lying to me about delivery! Shanda then proceeds to tell me he left a balance which caused a reason for it not to be delivered. FOURTH mistake he made. He told us he would “take care of everything”. I was approved for more than I was expected and should have never been a balance but from all his mistakes. Now I have 3 different orders because of this man! He made multiple ERRORS in my order. Shanda and Juan gave me sort of credit $300 for his mistakes. I highly do not recommend him! If you are purchasing go with the Shanda.

This has to be the worst furniture store ever. nothing but lame excuses. they told me they don't know when my furniture would be in that they don't ever know what's going to be on the truck that is ridiculous! you pay for set up and they don't even set it up. I went down the road to furniture fair and got what I wanted in two days when Ashley pushed it back months! don't come here if you actually want furniture on time.

When we first bought our furniture, it was a decent experience with our salesman, Roy. Found what we were looking for, good price, financing, etc. Just got our furniture yesterday and discovered it had some minor damage. We were told to contact our salesman, Roy, I did and no one responded. Showed someone red it, but no response. Tried calling the store, no luck either. Ruined our experience to pay all that and wait so long for some damage and can't get it addressed.
Been shopping around for a new living room set for quite a while now. Been to a lot of different places, met a lot of different salesman. This place was different. Our guy Steven had to be the best salesman I've ever encountered in this area. He was understanding, patient and not pushy at all. We actually had an initial issue with the financial side, but he worked some magic and made it all ok. Definitely go here for all your furniture needs. You won't regret it.

I don’t recommend going to this location I didn’t have the best experience at Ashley’s Furniture Roy Strader was the person who helped me it’s going on two months and still haven’t received all my order was told would be two weeks tops. No communication at all been told multiple different lies after multiple deliveries we still don’t have the correct bed and another set has cracks in it can’t get threw or don’t know who to contact to get anything resolved I spent 8 grand cash at this store and if had the chance I wouldn’t do it again or would think twice beforehand.
A very poor experience with the sales team following purchase of a mattress. After several years as a customer of this store, I will no longer be returning.
Ashley Furniture maintains a store policy for price matching, stating, "If you discover a lower price on an identical, in-stock product from an online retailer, inform us, and we will match it." Acting upon this policy, I proceeded to do just that. However, it appears that the Florence location does not uphold this policy consistently. Initially, they mentioned a willingness to match prices from Amazon, but upon locating the product on Amazon, they altered the condition to necessitate a physical store presence within a 50-mile radius. Instances like these underscore the challenges that brick and mortar stores face, potentially contributing to their decline.
Came in to buy a dining set with a buffet. We bought the buffet off the floor and was told that the table and chairs are being discontinued they say they had 3 set in the back. We purchased the set and was told it would be delivered the following week. Then we were call that the table was damaged and they would get another one. A month went by and they call to set up delivery. The day before they call and said the table is damaged. We finally said we did not want it anymore and because they could not get us the table set we wanted to return the buffet. I have be dealing with them for the last two months to get this returned and they keep telling me customer service would call me to pick up the buffet. I have not heard from customer service. And you can not get ahold of customer service. They don’t answer the phone. I need someone from Ashley to get this taken care of. I have bought most of my furniture from Ashley but after this I will not be coming back. Edit. Mandy was our salesperson when we bought this order. She was awesome. She got us a great deal on it. When I started having problems with the return I called her. She was no longer with Ashley Furniture but she made this her priority get get this taken care of. She called them and texted them everyday! I want to thank her and Jess for all the work on this. Mandy I will definitely be seeing you at Value City!! Thanks again!

This place is a disgrace. Although the furniture is halfway decent the salespeople lie to you about how soon you can get it. We were told our furniture would be delivered within 1 week of when we bought it but it turned out it was more like 6 weeks. We needed furniture as soon as possible and we're promised a quick delivery date but it was all a big lie just to make the sale. If you are reading this, I would take your business elsewhere.

I have bought two sectionals from Ashley. While I knew it is not the top of the line furniture, I did expect it to last more than a year. Wrong. It was delivered with a tear in the upholstery and then the fabric started piling within 2 weeks. But the worst part is the back of the couch had a broken piece of wood in the structure so now I can't use the sectional at all. I will never buy from Ashley again.

I have given the Florence, Ky store a one star rating. This may change if the delivery is satisfactory. What makes me mad is the lack of communication with the store after my purchase. They absolutely REFUSE to answer a phone. It's like buy here, then we don't ever want to hear from you again. Well there are lots of furniture stores out there looking for customers. My experience with Ashley Furniture has been disappointing.

We purchased a “as is” house and needed to get furniture that would give us and our fur babies a place to sit and rest as time would permit. Chanda( I believe was her name) helped us get the best product for our money. She price matched her competitors, handled everything over the phone, told us when there were shipping delays, etc. and even predicted when the furniture would be in down to the hour. She was great. I would definitely buy through her again. When we were purchasing a "as is" home we instantly knew one thing: at the end of the day or when time permitted, we were going to need a decent place to sit. It had to be tough enough to withstand 2 crazy wiggle tails, a nfl size linebacker and some rowdy nieces and nephews. Enter : Chanda/ Shanda (not sure which) our salesperson. We needed to do everything but pickup via phone and she took care of it all. She ordered, updated us on delivery issues and told us the day/ time it should be in. She even matched a competitors advertised price when prompted. Thanks for giving us a place to de-stress.

I walked in knowing what I wanted from browsing online, Stephanie was amazing at getting me more information for pricing and delivery. Even worse is when there are issues with your order - you can’t get ahold of an actual person to fix it. I ordered a nice farm style table with 4 chairs and a bench. Covid hit, and I never got the bench and the chairs fell apart in months. It’s a waste of $1,200. I’ve called to get a refund or replacement and I get the run around, please don’t buy from this company. Also, I bought my bedroom set from them and my nightstand had a huge hole in it, I didn’t notice it for months. Shame on you Ashley furniture!

Purchased a dresser a year ago and it has since fallen apart. Thinking I get what I pay for, I purchased a $3,000 couch for my basement at the end of December and it is broke and I can not use it. They would not let me return it without paying a restocking fee was promised a $300 gift card that I have not received but should have the 3 ruined pieces replaced sometime in February. Update : my furniture was delivered without any flaws but never recieved anything I was promised including assistance from the gentleman that answered my review.

Ordered a bed and was given a date when it would be delivered. They show up to deliver and are missing one of the bed rails. I assume they went back and found it because we get a text and had to get back in line for delivery. Very frustrating when you plan around a delivery.

Recently went to Ashley furniture in Florence looking for a new sofa. Was told by the sales representative the couch I wanted wouldn’t be in till January of 2023 so I asked if there were any similar. He showed me the higher end version of the sofa I liked and said it would be in by Dec 14th, 2022. With no delays, it is December 22nd, 2022 and it is just now being delivered. Also was told I wouldn’t have a 30 minute notice before the delivery teams arrival because my sales representative didn’t set it up. So now I have to take off work to sit at my home and wait for the three hour window that the couch could arrive in. Lied about delivery date to get me to buy it & bad customer service. Will not be shopping at Ashley again.

They love to show you their furniture but when something breaks and it’s under warranty it takes over a year to try to get it fixed I bought my furniture in the beginning of 2021 and I have still yet to get my furniture fixed

I called the Florence, KY Ashley Furniture store to inquire about some pieces needed to complete my bedroom furniture set. I spoke with Mandy, who was extremely helpful. She checked the stock, gave me a quote for a great price, and I was able to complete the transaction over the phone with no difficulty. The first piece will be delivered in four days. It was the easiest furniture purchase I ever made. I will definitely return to Ashley Furniture and ask for Mandy!
Your customer care is absolutely the worst I’ve tried and tried to get a hold of someone my furniture is literally falling apart we’ve had it for two years one person has come out try to repair something and it end up breaking again very dissatisfied I wouldn’t buy a dog house from Ashley
My husband and I fell in love with our bedroom set and decided to get it, despite our rep being absolutely clueless the whole time. They scheduled delivery for the end of NOVEMBER, when it could have been delivered at the ens of September. So we rescheduled for end of September. Delivery was fine, but within 24 hours one of the bed slats has split with only me sitting on it and I'm 115 pounds. Then a few minutes later, another split. Also, I told multiple people multiple times that I wanted the mattress delivered on the same day as the bed frame. What do they do? Schedule everything for different days despite my request being in the notes. Thank goodness I was able to fix it online. Also, once the bed slat broke, I couldn't get ahold of anyone on the phone. Thankfully, someone on the online chat is taking care of it by getting us rails, but we will never be back.
After dealing with delivery issues from the Morris furniture side, I decided to buy from the Ashley side. Mandy was fantastic. She’s very knowledgeable, honest, and made sure things were done right!

Spent about 15k at this Ashley furniture in Florence. It took serval weeks for items to arrive as expected, however everything that was delivered was either (1) the wrong item (dining table) or (2) broken (office desk, couches, dining chairs). I had recently completed construction on a new home in the northern Kentucky area and delivery drivers did extensive damage to the home including ripping up the grass in the front yard, driving a large delivery truck on freshly poured concrete, chipping paint, scratching walls, damaging flooring. The delivery people did not have a drill upon arrival and we’re not able to assemble the furniture (despite my having paid for this service). The delivery people left trash throughout the home and did not inform me when they were leaving, I picked up the trash. I contacted Ashley and was not offered any form of credit for this delivery experience that caused extensive damage to a newly built home. They did advise me to file a damage claim, which I did, but never heard back on any form of payment I could recover. I had some remaining items in the order which I cancelled due to the issues above, with a credit of $6400 promised within 5 business days. I have not received any credit and now no one has answered the phone at Ashley, or responded to my several voicemails and emails left over the last few days. I now have a broken office desk, a dining table without legs, and a damaged new build home. Suggestions for Ashley: (1) return my $6400 to me promptly (2) come get this broken furniture and get it out of my house (3) fire the movers who don’t show up with proper tools to assemble furniture and cause destruction to homes (4) credit me for what I paid for delivery and assembly- no one wants to pay hundreds of dollars to have their house destroyed, covered in trash, and have to assemble furniture themselves (5) issue some form of credit for inconveniences caused, I waited here all day the following day for someone to show up with a drill. Highly recommend against ever ordering from this store. They will destroy your home, take your money, ignore you when trying to reach a resolution, and leave trash and broken furniture throughout your home. Any other option is better. Management- give me my money back ASAP.

I am very dissatisfied with the service here. The salesman told us both items were in stock and would be delivered together. Now they are telling us that the one item will be delivered on time but the other one they will have to call us later to tell us when it will be delivered.

This store has the worst customer service I have EVER experienced! If I could rate them a negative 5 I would! I have been in sales and customer service for more than 20 years and honestly I am curious how they are still in business! I have waited for 7 months for a coffee table with no updates as to when it will be here, plus trying to call is a joke! I physically went into the store and told them how poorly the customer service was and that trying to get them to answer the phone was impossible and I felt that it was on purpose. The sales associate basically told me it was on purpose! Unbelievable! But they sure will take your money in a hurry!!

Ordered a new sectional, table with chairs and buffet in early February. We were told by the manager that they were not having any delivery delays and would arrive early April. The table was delivered today. It is not the table we ordered. 4 of the 6 chairs were to arrive but when unboxing only 3 came with 1 broken. WHO knows when our sectional will arrive. They say end of July. Ashley Furniture is a joke. I will never order or recommend them to anyone. They should have been honest.
Ordered a couch in March, said it would be here in April. Never showed and they never called. After two hours on hold, was told it would be here early May. Again, never showed and no communication from Ashley. Went into store and they said early June. Today we got a text asking us to call and schedule delivery. 45 minutes on hold for the rep to tell us only one part of the couch was coming in, and that the other part wouldn’t be here until late July. The rep also told us that it was on us to store the half of the couch that is currently in stock, and that it would just have to sit at our house unusable until the other half came in July. When we said that this was ridiculous and that we wanted our money back, the rep just hung up on us. Go ANYWHERE else.
Sales people wouldn't stop following me around. Even after many times of saying that I was just looking to get a price range and was not planning to buy that day. I felt like I was being stalked and wound up just leaving before seeing their whole selection. Will not be returning to buy anything. I will buy from a store that doesn't breathe down a customer's neck while they are browsing.

Will never shop or order from here again simply based on customer service experience. Our sectional, which is finally here after a nightmare, is actually great. But the service we received was so bad. Our initial salesman was friendly and made promises we would have our sectional in 6-8 weeks. That was important as we had a timeline due to a baby coming. It’s why we ordered what we did. He was kind to simply get the sale, never followed up as things went wrong. Months later we finally received 2 of our 3 pieces to our sectional after being told if we didn’t take the two that had come in stock they would give them to another customer as we waited on the third piece. We begrudgingly agreed. It arrived for us to discover the original salesman had ordered the wrong piece. We were told to accept the one corner piece that was right and the rest would be fixed that week. Wrong. A month later we finally received a second piece that was correct, still leaving our sectional incomplete. Lots of calls to the store were never answered and led us to an always full voicemail box. Calls to 800 customer service number were only answered after hour long waits and offered no help or answers. Visits to the store were met with rude sales staff and managers who offered little help. Finally 6 weeks later we got the delivery scheduled for our final piece. Ashley/Morris tried to cancel it several times and I wouldn’t allow them to. Five months later and we finally have a complete sectional in our home and a very sour taste in our mouths. We will never shop here again and will recommend our friends and family do not either. I understand there are supply chain issues and some things are delayed, but it is no excuse for rude service. Not one person from this company to date has apologized for our experience. From how it was handled I don’t believe they cared. Never again and I suggest that anyone else avoid this company. Disclaimer to say the delivery people who are contracted employees were all very kind and respectful. It however does not and will never excuse the horrible service provided by Ashley Furniture, Morris Furniture, and their employees.

If I could give a zero, I would. I received a coffee table damaged. I told them immediately after noticing (within 24 hours). They said they would fix it. They never have. They mailed the parts to my house to fix it but I can’t get anyone to come out here to fix it. I have been trying for months to get them to come out here to fix it. It is now pushing a year upon first delivery. I spoke with one store manager and he said if the customer care team didn’t call back to schedule by April 6, they would order a new one to replace it. April 6 passed and I called to get the replacement. I have left several voicemails and no one returns my calls. Called today to follow up on the replacement of the coffee table and the general manager was in. He refused to replace the table. Said that a repair can be made. When I explained the situation and that the other manager said he would replace it, he said to take it up with the other manager. This was general manager!!! Shouldn’t he know how to fix it? He decided to pass the buck off to someone else. He was short and never offered an apology to the terrible customer service I received. I get Covid has caused delays. I was willing to be patient but this has been almost a year to make a simple repair for furniture that arrived damaged. It’s just crazy to me.
I have been trying to get ahold of the store for over 3 weeks and no one will call me back or answer. I’m starting to wonder if they have gone out of business or have anyone that works there anymore. I’ve been waiting for a piece of furniture since last July. I am canceling the order and will never do business with them again

Me and my fiancé were looking for a new sectional and a recliner for myself. Kirt who works there helped us through our entire visit. We were able to pick the sectional that we wanted after being in there for what felt like hours 😅 He was very polite and attentive to what we were looking for. We are wanting a new mattress soon. Definitely will be asking for him when we return.

I will never shop here again. Ordered a bed set, living room set, and dining set back in December while in store rep told us everything we were ordering was in stock and we even switch certain items to get the ones in stock. Now our bed set is missing rolling slats that should have been delivered with the bed and we won’t have them until April and coffee table is now going to be in stock in June and our table is still up in the air . Manager Ryan never gave us the courtesy to call my husband and I back nor did he try and truly assist us. Never will I order from this store again.

You would think they could answer the phone, or at least return a voicemail for a guaranteed sale! Called a few time to no answer so I left a voicemail with the SKUs I wanted to order and asking for next steps. 3 days later no one has returned my call. I'm not going to beg them to take my money and I'll find somewhere that cares about profit to buy the items.

Never will buy anything from here again. Me and my wife order a bed set in August. They told us it would all be here by November. I have been calling checking on our status each month. I always get a difference answer of when my bed set will be in. They have pieces of my bed set to fulfill other people orders. So now they tell my my bed set will not be in until February. WHAT? Do not buy from here it is a joke. It’s been 5 months still don’t have one piece of my bed set.
While buying my bedroom suite, I wasn't pressured or nagged by sales persons, they were extremely helpful! I will return for my Sons bedroom suite as well, soon!

First time buyer. We bought a sectional that the wedge has a run all the way across the pillow, the kitchen table has raw areas in the grooves that supposed to have a finish, the sofa table’s finish is chipping away and the 1st tv stand had knicks, chips, scratches so they replaced it with one that was worse. It has bad knicks, scratches and a bad crack so much that I sliced my finger. I have sent emails, voice messages and I’ve called. To know avail, not one response. I would not recommend Ashley to anyone.
Great selection. Reasonable prices. Kirt and AJ were super helpful but not pushy. They ensured I knew all my options before finalizing my purchase. They told me about 18 months interest free financing which was super helpful on this unexpected expense. Building exterior and parking lot clean and in good repair. We went to 7 furniture stores on this day and Ashley was the best one.
We ordered a box spring a few weeks ago; to be delivered with white glove service (an additional $70 charge). The service included bringing the box spring into our house, putting it on the frame, and carrying the old frame away. When the box spring was delivered; it was delivered to the front door and the delivery company refused to take the old box spring away. Oookay. So my husband calls the store to see what happened, and if he was mistaken about getting the white glove delivery service. He waited for over 45 minutes for someone to pick up the phone through the automated system; no one ever picked up. He went to the store in person and found out the salesman rang the delivery service up wrong , but we did pay $70 for said service. My husband was told they would call us with a day and time that they would pick up the box spring that my husband has wrapped himself; and is ready and waiting in our living room. We have received no such call. It has been 2 weeks. My husband tried to call again and waited on the phone for 50 minutes, and no one picked up. Very frustrating. I would recommend buying Ashley furniture through Amazon prime if you have it. Shipping to your door is free. You know exactly what to expect and when to expect it because you can track your furniture. And if you have a damage or a return you can get ahold of their customer service people pretty painlessly. *****update******3/22/2022 We had the Ashley store contact us via email and assure us they would pick up the old box spring per the original agreement. And then they never contacted us again. We finally paid someone to carry the box spring off after a couple of MONTHS.
I'm writing this as I sit here on hold. Funny how when they want to contact you they're fine, but as soon as you want to get some answers from them, they don't bother to answer the phone. First off, my sales person was good. He did everything he was supposed to. The problem is, the service and delivery. I bought a sectional and a bed and mattress for my son. Made it VERY clear we needed this items very soon. Was told everything was fine and we should have it in a couple months. Cool. Sectional comes and everything is fine there. No issue. Then we wait a couple months for the bed. They will send you emails over and over claiming there's a change in your order, but literally NOTHING changes. I think what's happening is every time the delivery date gets pushed back in the system, it sends the customer an email even though the email just says "on order." So that's exceptionally annoying to keep getting emails that tell you over and over "hey we still don't have your item." This is a CHILD'S BED. My son hasn't had a bed this entire time. I understand that stuff changed during covid so I call and see what can be done since I can't keep waiting on a bed. They say we can either cancel the order or exchange for a bed that is in stock. I get there this past weekend and they check the delivery date for the bed since when I called they said it should be here in November if I wanted to wait. Turns out it got pushed back another YEAR which was obviously unacceptable. So we went and looked for a replacement. Didn't find one we liked with Ashley so we went to the connected store, Morris (same company), and we picked one out. They said it could come in a few days and we scheduled the delivery time. Then the lady goes, "Okay you owe $140." And I'm like "How?? The replacement we chose is $200 less than the bed we previously had. You should be refunding ME." and she starts to argue that it's the delivery charge. I say "I paid the delivery charge for the other bed to be delivered. That should be used to cover the charge for this bed." Again she argued and told me that I only paid deliver for the sectional. Which makes ZERO sense since I bought them all together and paid upfront for everything and didn't have to make a second payment for delivery when the sectional came. I told her this, she gets upset and tells me "that's what's on the computer" and I tell her "you're doing something wrong."Some guy walks buy who I'm guessing is the manager and she waves him over and tells him what's going on. He EASILY puts it into the computer and tells her "they get $170 back to their card." Suddenly her demeanor changes when she realized she was wrong (simple math could have told her that) and she was so timid and apologetic after that. Told us we could expect our delivery Thursday. It's Wednesday. I get multiple emails saying my delivery was tomorrow and then another giving me a time frame. Almost immediately after getting the time frame email and after I confirmed it with my husband and son, I get a call (I missed it) and they left a message saying to call them back because the delivery date is full and I need to reschedule. So I give them a call. The person on the phone ASSURED me that they don't know why I was left message saying that my delivery was rescheduled because it's showing that it's still for tomorrow for them. Their computer systems are absolutely incapable of doing anything they need them to do. Apparently it overbooks appointments and won't even show the proper delivery date to the employees. I get off the phone pretty happy.Conveniently just right before the customer service center closes, I get an email saying my items will be here Friday during a time I now how to reschedule things around because not only did they not allow me to pick the new date like was told to me before, because they told me it never changed, but now my son's bed is pushed back again. I should have checked the reviews. DO NOT SHOP HERE. It is absolutely more trouble tha
Horrible experience. Ordered sectional is March with a delivery date in April. We received half of it in July and the other part in August. The date they set for delivery was on our babies due date. After several phone calls to try and change the delivery date, they refused to do so. On top of that, the second half of the sectional was delivered broken. After hours on the phone (and being hung up on twice by a store manager!) I got ahold of customer service. This company showed no remorse for inconvenience they caused us, including the wait, delivering on the birth date on our child and not allowing us to change the date (this caused us the stress of finding someone to be at the house while after the hospital), hanging up on me, and delivering a broken couch… will not be giving this company any other penny.
If I could give less I would. I can't even begin to start with this God awful experience. Delivery, joke. After waiting almost 6 months to get it. Then my recliner worked two weeks. But the real joke is that after everything it's still broken and it wasn't cheap. Nobody has helped me and I yet to hear about the part that was ordered in August. It's middle of October. Never ever again, I will never buy from them again, and don't recommend you do.

I bought a chair and a half in March 21,2021. The chair after a month was falling apart. I went to the store and showed him pictures of the chair. I wanted to get another chair. But instead they sent a person to look at it and it took about 6 weeks to get them at my house(first time) The man said he would put in a request for a new chair. He lied. He put in a report that it could be fixed. No communication with the ones making the decision. And I never received a copy of the report. They sent another man to fix it. When he was done it was worst. Also I pointed out the wooden frame was cracked and I would like another chair. He said he would put that in his report. WRONG!! Again no copy of the report. I went back to the store and saw the manager again. He said it was going to be repaired. I showed him a picture of the split frame and he said he would send in a report. Again lied. He was supposed to call me. He never did. But the repair kit was delivered to my house. No communication with the store. It’s almost October and I have been dealing with this since April. Do not buy any extra insurance on your new furniture because it’s not worth the paper it was written on.
Ok. I miss the days when your can go into a furniture store pick out what you want and have delivered in a week. Yes I am frustrated with delivery times. However, my salesperson Mandy went way beyond to get me my furniture. Yes its was ordered in July. My first sofa got pushed out to March 2022. Changed sofas. Mandy worked her magic getting almost everything first week of Oct. At least I have living room furniture. Covid and lack of staff is the problems. Not the sales people. I have purchased at Ashley for years and will continue. Thanks Mandy for all your hard work on my behalf.

We ordered bed set from the store and it was 3 months late, I understand some delay due to COVID but they changed my delivery date 3 times and when I finally got the delivery it was missing 2 parts and when I called the store no one picked up so I went to store to talk about the issue and they told me they have to call customer service to solve this issue. It has been 5 days since then and nothing has happened and I called store 7 more times over 3 days and called customer service 4 times but no one picks up the call even after an hour of wait. What is the point of having a phone if you do not pick up! I would never buy anything from here ever again and would not recommend the store to anyone.
I never write reviews, but I am so frustrated with Ashley customer service and the quality of the furniture that I felt I needed to. First, the store charged me more than the cost noted online. After waiting for customer service for an hour, I received some stupid excuse as to why the price was different. Customer service connected me to the store and the sales person was kind enough to give me the online price. However, I just received my bill reflecting the higher price. After I received my chair, I noticed the arm is broken. I waited on the phone with customer service for an hour only to have them hang up on me without being able to speak with someone. I went to the store and the sales person sent an email to customer service and said I would be contacted in 2 weeks. They also said they can't get in touch with customer service either so I can only try calling again. I still have not been contacted to have my chair fixed. This experience has been a headache and next time I'll pay the extra money and go to lay z boy.
I had a great experience shopping for my living room and dining room sets at the store. The salesman stayed close enough for me to ask questions but left me space to look and decide. Financing is great! 50 months no interest?!? Wonderful! My furniture will last me for the rest of my life, I’m sure of it. I absolutely love my new furniture and can hardly wait the 2 months to get it.

Was offered a rebate for the wait, said it would take 3-5 days it's been 9 still no rebate and No one will return your calls we've called 3 times in the last 4 days left messages and no one from the store will call back. I will NEVER shop at Ashley ever again. I purchased two nightstands and a dresser in early April. The nightstands came in a few weeks later and the delivery for the dresser was scheduled for June. It never arrived so I called 3 times to get answers and no one knew where it was. Now I find out that it’s on back order and they don’t know how long it will be. The communication is terrible and I wasted my time and money here.

They gave me a recliner instead of a chase on one side, And refuse to get the recliner out of my living room. This company is a SERIOUS JOKE!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Horrible Customer Service! Cannot get through to the Customer Service line or the store. We ordered a $1700 kitchen table and *such an easy job*, where a screw is supposed to go in to two pieces it does not align. We were going to screw in a new hole where it is messed up, but it will make our table wobbly, so no can do. Surprisingly the rest of our furniture delivered is OK but don't plan on getting a call back or even a care in the world from any worker here.
The set-up crew looked and acted like MS13 gang members. The furniture is great.
Nothing but problems from the start. 2 week delivery ended up taking several months. Then we received half of a sectional because it was lost. When it arrived several weeks later it was broken and we had to wait once again. Then they ripped it right in front of us bringing it in. The rocking chair is falling apart after barely a year and we’ve been trying to get it repaired since thanksgiving.. I will never buy another thing from this junk store.

Purchased close to $8K worth of items from Ashley on Florence KY. Horrible experience once they got me out the door. Items arrive 2 mins before the end of time and I leave someone at house - drivers just dumped my stuff even though I PAID for white glove plus they damaged an item. Called within an hour & sent pics. Was told multiple stories as to why they just dropped off & the item they damaged was now discontinued. Called / texted daily being told it was being taken care of until I called another manager as things weren’t moving. Spk to mgr Ryan who at 1st was helpful & arranged for my items to be put together & a possible used replacement for the server that was damaged. And he told me that my refund would not be processed until order was closed. No one ever told me this. I’ve been waiting on $900+. I said fine. Today arrives and the drivers break a vase, put a hole in the couch and cannot put the table together bcos the wrong screws are in box!!! This is now 2 wks this stuff if just sitting in my house. I call Ryan immediately who tells me I need to call customer service and he will talk to Curtis the GM as I don’t want any of this stuff any longer. He calls back and tells me since I’m past the 3 days happy time I have to call customer service but plan to be on hold for 40+ mins or he can send an email that will take 3-7 days. Nothing they could or would do. I called within an hour, sent pics on day 1 to get things fixed and now bcos of them taking 8+ days I am stuck. WTF! I don’t want this stuff and I am now the phone 30 mins in waiting for CS. I will never buy again from this company nor will anyone I know. I am also reporting to BBB, anyone else I can and going to reach out to every corporate employee I find on LinkedIn until this is resolved - out of my house and my money back!

Stopped into Ashley furniture to purchase a bedroom set on Black Friday, was greeted by friendly associates and was assisted in making my purchase, all was going well.. Get to the end of the transaction, after they’ve already taken the time to run my credit (decided to go ahead and finance the set and pay it off in 3 installments) and am told it will be TWO months before I receive my set, and was told this is a normal wait time. I was slightly aggravated, but oh well... two months go by, no one calls, I have to call and I’m told my set is popular and they are having delays, may be a couple more weeks. Was told a manager would give me a call and explain alternative options/compensation for the inconvenience. Of course a manager never calls... my shipping info was updated today, and estimated delivery is now set for April 25th! I made the order in NOVEMBER! Still not a single courtesy call, no one is picking up at the store and their voice mailbox is full! I will be making a visit in person today to cancel my order, get my money back that I’ve already invested, and will happily make a new purchase with the competitor two stores down.

I will not recommend Ashley Furniture. Our $3,000 couch came broke, customer service is an hour + wait on the line every time you call, they don't write the tech with all the issues at once so each time a tech is sent out he has to reschedule, the techs that they have scratch their heads at the problems you have, part of our couch cannot be used, Ashley's district manager can't do anything other then send an email. This place is a complete Joke!
The sales associate was very helpful and genuinely friendly. All 3 stars are for her! I am disappointed in the policy regarding pickup/delivery. Instead of being accommodating during Covid, I feel they are using it as an opportunity to cash in on delivery fees. They are not allowing pick-up in Florence and the only options are $100 delivery fee (4 miles down the road) or pickup in Fairborn OH ( 1 1/2 hours from Florence). It's a small recliner for my elderly mother...so next weekend I will make the 3 hour round trip drive. If you are not going to allow local pick-up, at the very least, have a reasonable delivery fee that fits the product and distance of delivery.

We got our dinning room furniture and our couches from Ashely this summer. It took a couple months to get them in which would be fine if what we received was worth it. The couches you can tell are not made well at all and have a lot of flaws. All of the legs came damaged and I had to order new ones twice. Very unsatisfied and probably won’t shop at Ashley’s again. Disappointed Update: I contacted them as requested and they said I would receive a call to get things fixed and nothing. I’ve emailed them 4 times since and still no response. If you’re going to reach out to try and fix the problem you should follow through. Just another example of bad customer service!
They say it will take 4-5 weeks for delivery and it ends up taking 6 months. We paid $199 for delivery/assembly and it was simply left in boxes in our garage. Spent over $2000 and at this point would rather sleep on the floor than spend another dime with this company.

I do not recommend Ashley Furniture if you actually want furniture. We have had nothing but issues with them since ordering furniture in August. We still do not have a piece ordered. They have consistently changed the delivery date. Went to the store. They did offer to find something in stock, however there was literally only 3 pieces of ANY dresser and chest of drawers in stock. Also not close to matching our bedroom set. They offered to provide a different model in December. Well it was supposed to deliver in February....new email stating May. 6 year same as cash promotion is likely when you may receive your merchandise. Don’t bother to shop!
Sophia Edwards was amazing! We just bought a couch & even though we had found it cheaper at a different furniture store, she was able to price match no questions asked. The couch was delivered less than a week later. She was so sweet. Took her time to let us look around to find exactly what we wanted. & she was even extremely nice to our rambunctious 3 year old while we chased her around. Because of Sophia’s excellent service we will be returning in a couple of weeks to purchase a king size bed & mattress from her.
Horrible service! Was lied to saying that leather furniture would hold up better with three young kids under 4. Received almost all damaged. Was thrown on our porch scattered all over the place. Told multiple times would have a team lead call me . Which was a lie. Called almost once a week to try to get help. Was told they couldn't do anything for us. Pretty much told due to having in our home so long they couldn't do anything for us even though I have been calling since April for help. And emailing multiple times. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!
I do not recommend Ashley furniture we bought our liv9ng room set and got the warranty and not even a year after its falling apart. we have tried over and over to talk to someone and nothing. we have to put blankets over our couch and chair bc its falling apart. Do not buy from this place
The associate and manager were extremely helpful and great sales. Price matched an item that was even better than expected. Best experience shopping for an item I had questions or doubts about. I definitely will go back to finish off the set.
I would put negative stars if I could. Product was terrible and it broke. Took forever to get a repair and I got bounced from the store to their service organization which is a separate company under contract. My communications included corporate which was equally bad. After two months without a bed the parts came and the repair people fixed the bed then left quickly without assembling the whole bed and leaving the broken parts and boxes behind even though I paid extra for this service. The repair technician said the product is horrible and that the frame is made from some combination of wood chips and glue and will most likely break again. That was an unsolicited review. Not comforting. These people don't respect the customer, promise to return calls and make things right but it is all a lie Do yourself a favor and stay away and do not buy anything from them. Companies like this need to go down their natural evolutionary path to bankruptcy and closure. There are good companies that exist and will emerge to take over the business and succeed and make you a satisfied customer.
Salesman saved me about $700 dollars! Was very polite and knowledgeable. Worked very hard to keep me in the budget that we discussed. Would highly recommend seeing Roy if you stop in!!
Don&'t waste your time or money. Nothing arrives on time, I&'m being told that my furniture will be delivered a month later than my 60 day time frame said, and I have little hope that it won&'t be pushed back further. Staff is beyond rude, I&'ve been walked away from and had eyes rolled at me, and completely ignored when small pieces of pick up furniture weredelayed without my knowledge. Their communication skills are terrible as I always have to call for my own updates. The worst part? I&'ve already filled out a survey about my experience and no one has reached out. Go anywhere else, they are a sinking ship and do not care about you.

We ordered a king sized Tempur Pedic mattress, pillows, and mattress cover, power platform, and a bedroom suit for approximately $9750.00 on 10/10/2020 from Ashley Furniture in Florence, KY. At the time of purchase we were told that everything was in stock except for the king size bed frame, so we opted to have everything delivered at once which was supposed to be mid-November. We never got the email to schedule delivery as we were told to expect, so I began calling the store to get a delivery date. YOU CANNOT REACH ANYONE BY CALLING THE STORE. I left messages each time I called on a voicemail that stated "calls will be returned within one business day", but no one ever called me back. I eventually got someone on the phone by calling the customer service number and pressing the button to 'reschedule delivery date'. The representative informed me on 11/6/2020 that the only part of my order that was in stock was the mattress and power platform and that it looks like the earliest it would be available would be mid-January. After this call I again attempted to reach someone at the store to cancel my order, but was sent to the same voicemail box. I will be stopping in person today to cancel my order.

Save yourselves! Bad customer service, third party delivery is negligent and therefore so are they for doing business with truck deliveries that have no lifts or ramps on them causing broken furniture, delayed service delivery, and multiple waste of your precious personal time entering the store. They have a bad mattress return policy using Covid as excuse even though the mattress was multiply wrapped inside of a box and never been opened within the two week timeframe window to change your mind. Oh wait that&'s only if you purchased a pillow and took it with you the same day make sure you read the fine print that was conveniently not part of the two week parameter. Their rules change as they want them to. Do not let them leave the broken furniture in your home! make them remove it immediately bc they will bill you, then say you have an in-store credit when you no longer want to do business with them. Waited over an hour to speak to a person in customer care only to be told I had to go into the store to make any changes. Was told furniture would be picked up on September 9 then called back on September 7 holiday to be told they would not pick up so that they could bill it to my credit card then pick it up when they had the replacement even though I no longer wanted the product from them. They picked up the broken couch on October 3rd! I have entered the store and canceled entire order with the general manager Curtis Fairbanks and his assistant manager Ryan Mc. They now we&'re trying to deliver a dresser to me on November 7 what makes anyone think after you order something on July 5 that you would still want something from them on November 7? Why would they choose to ignore that I canceled that order on September 4 in the store with Curtis Fairbanks. They are liars, cheats, and bullies. They will not give you invoices or receipts upon delivery or have you sign for deliveries so that they can play the smoking weird game with their credit card company synchrony bank out of Orlando Florida. I have formally made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have a meeting with my lawyer tomorrow.

I would not recommend shopping at Ashley Home Store. First, I had trouble with a sales associate in store and now I'm currently waiting on my coffee table I ordered to be delivered for the THIRD time without dents and scratches on it. It's been ridiculous sitting on the phone (on hold) to request exchanges, making sure you're home in the delivery windows and paying the expensive fees for delivery. It should be right the first time but in my case it hasn't even been right the second time! Hoping the third time, I will have a dent free table!!! 10/7/20 Edit to add: I have called customer care, the store itself and chatted online with several people and still cannot get a call back. I've just emailed the email that someone responded below my comment as well but I'm almost certain it's the same email address that the manager of the store and the person from the chat emailed already and it has not helped. It's absolutely ridiculous that no one is able to help me or get me in contact with who can. I'm considering going to the store and canceling the entire order, including a couch I haven't even received yet. Update 10/14/20: STILL no call from anyone. DO NOT SHOP HERE if you want non damaged furniture or any type of customer service whatsoever. I have called and emailed repeatedly and contacted the store and still I cannot get a table exchanged. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Going to the store tomorrow to cancel the couch I ordered. 10/15: update. Finally got ahold of someone at "Customer Care". They conveniently have no notes on the system from the delivery person about my dents and marks on the table and no record of when I called or even chatted with someone within 3 days of purchase. On top of that, the sales associate marked my items as "final sale" so they don't have to do anything and even though I contacted them within 3 days, the table has been in my home for longer than that so I'm stuck with it. I paid for extra coverage on the table as well that apparently does nothing for dents or to cover a service order for them to send someone out to fix it so that was a waste of money. I even confirmed with the sales associate before purchasing extra coverage whether things like that would be covered and she assured me that it would be fixed or replaced if I purchased that. I'm pretty much screwed. I've contacted the BBB as well as left reviews everywhere. There are whole Facebook groups dedicated to the issues people are having so definitely DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEYHOMESTORE/MORRIS. Going to the store today to cancel the couch that I'm still waiting on.

I DO NOT recommend. A couch was delivered with tears and stitching coming out of it. Was sold on the promise of the extra protection warranty would cover anything by Wayne and Curtis when it in fact covers nothing. They will not fix or replace. We paid $480 for a piece of crap. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are scammers only out for your money.

They were super nice in the store but as soon as I bought a couch and loveseat from them it’s like they can’t help me. I was supposed to have white glove delivery and the guys that delivered it wanted to leave it outside since there paper didn’t say white glove. They finally brought it in the living room and left. The plastic over the couch is all torn up. When I called the store, they said they’ll fix the next delivery and that’s all they can do.
I ordered furniture in Florence KY on July 5th on credit at Ashley Furniture Inc. also doing business as Morris Home Furnishings. I was charged for two mattress protectors which were not delivered on August 8th but they are on receipt marked that date. The couch (loveseat) I ordered was finally delivered on August 29th by two men in a unmarked box truck with no lift and no ramp. They broke the couch by dropping it on it’s corner and I didn’t see that it was broken until they had it in my living room installing the plug for recliner. I took pictures of truck and broken couch. The delivery man got on the phone with his boss and told him what happened. After going outside and speaking with him some more he came back inside and told me someone was going to call me in the next 15 minutes to schedule it to be picked up and a new one delivered in it’s place. I should’ve never fallen for this ploy and had them remove the couch at once! No one ever called me. Let it also be known I was told they would be delivering the second end table. It was not on the truck according to delivery men. I waited over an hour to speak with customer care on Thursday, September 3rd. They were absolutely no help and advised me for next time to inspect their furniture before allowing it in my home! Customer care told me I had to go see Curtis Fairbanks GM if I wanted to have anything On the sales order cancelled. Customer care stated they were aware they had a truck break down so they had to use a truck with no lift or ramp! So admitted their negligence in providing the right tools for their men to do the job. I was told they wouldn’t Make returns or cancels over the phone and I would need to physically go into the store to speak to the general manager to schedule the pick up of the broken couch. I went in to the store on September 5 and it was scheduled for pickup on the following Wednesday but Tuesday Curtis called and stated he was Wrong, they wouldn’t be able to pick up couch as planned. As an aside, they have yet to deliver the 2 queen mattress protectors, so how am I supposed to use the mattresses? I went into the store and stated I did not have any more good faith in their company (not all reasons noted in this post) and wanted to cancel the rest of the order and schedule the return pick-up of their broken couch. The manager stared at the computer screen for 45 minutes and tried to simply verbally state to me the returns had been made and the couch was scheduled for pick up that following Wednesday, September 9th. I requested a receipt showing the updates to the account. He tried to get out of this but I persisted so he printed off receipt showing the 3 out of 5 items that are currently in my possession. The GM called me back on Tuesday, September 8th and stated they would not be able to pick up their broken couch the following day and that someone was going to call me to reschedule. No one ever called me. I called the GM on Saturday morning September 12th asking When he was going to schedule the pickup of their broken couch and he re-stated that I wanted a replacement couch! I have repeated verbally and in email several times to CustomerCare with pictures that I don’t want anything else delivered from their company. He responded that he was having my salesperson call me back to schedule the pick up of the couch. I have not had any calls from her or the company. I told Curtis during that call on the 12th that I really needed their couch picked up by the following Saturday, September 19th. No one has ever called me back. Now it is Monday, September 21st and I receive credit statement with their broken couch on it and apparently the two mattress covers I have not received. My hairdresser at Elements Salon told me she had to get a lawyer to draft a letter to get service from Morris Home Furnishings. I am disputing the charge for broken couch and two mattress protectors with Synchrony credit card company tomorrow morning via certified mail.

One of the sales managers Curtis Fairbanks (the same manager that assisted with my sale) just told me I was not allowed to return my mattress. I called customer service and their automated system details exactly how I can return my mattress. We purchased a $200 mattress cover to qualify us for their 90 day warranty and Curtis Fairbanks lied to my face and said there's no return policy for a mattress. We're looking for furniture to fill our finished basement, you just lost a good customer.
I am very dissatisfied with Ashley and their customer service. We ordered a couch mid July and they said it would be delivered mid August. When not hearing anything or a follow up in August, we called and they said first week of September. They said there would be multiple shipments and we would be getting one of the shipments coming in. After not hearing back last week, I called again today and they said the couches wouldn’t be delivered till the END of October. I hadn’t heard from my sale associate once apologizing for delays. The communication is absolutely so poor. I feel like they lied to us about delivery dates to get our business. If I would have known they would be such poor communicators and liars, I would have taken my business elsewhere. We are in a house with no couches and a baby due in less than 3 weeks. I threatened to cancel and instead of apologizing or offering discount or other options, they said “let us know if you want to cancel”. I am highly upset with our whole experience and the sales associate who guided us wrongly. We chose them over value city because they told us delivery would be quicker (which was a lie).
Our 1st time shopping at this store and our salesman, Michael Combs was excellent. He showed us several livingroom suits, took his time, listened to our needs, was polite and professional. Thank you, Michael!! We will definitely be back.

Just wondering ... Our delivery date was missed with no explanation of fulfillment and i've waited on "hold" for a customer scheduling agent for over 2 hours (speakerphones are so helpful). I guess my expectations are too high, I just want the furniture we purchased delivered and someone to set honest expectations. Wondering aloud how do i contact Ashley HomeStore to arrange for missed delivery of purchased products when they don't answer phone during posted business hours or return calls? Disappointment and frustration describe our Ashley (paid for) delivery experience.

Our adventure started 3 1/2 years ago & I’ll give you the highly condensed version. Made a purchase, returned in within the allotted time and chose a replacement item that ended up costing less. They would NOT refund the difference. Buyer beware - credits must be held on account... forever (store policy, I was told). They will NOT five you your money back. Fast forward 3 1/2 year when some furniture was needed. ONLY went to Ashley to burn up that credit balance. Ok. New order had to be in 2 separate parts due to availability. “We’ll call you the day before to give you your delivery window.” Day before came - no call. Tried calling their “Customer Care” line - “you’re call will be answered in 80 minutes”. Eighty minutes??? What kind of customer care is that?! Still nothing the morning of delivery. Call the non-“Customer Care” line again - 60 minute minuets. I called the store - no no one answered. (10:03am). I just drove over to the store. I was going to ask for the manager when my sales lady came up - turns out she IS a manager! Told her my issues. She pulls up the order and gives me a 4-hour delivery window which we were already into - but it was going to the WRONG ADDRESS! 2nd part of the order going to the right address, 1st part of the order was wrong. And she, this manager, was the one who entered the Information. “No, we can’t contact the truck once it’s on the road” , sorry. I mean, I can’t make this up!! Oh! And the second part of your order has been pushed back until September. WHAT? No one even contacted me on that one and now two of my pieces aren’t going to show up for more than a month. She does nothing but say it must’ve just happened because she checks her reports every morning...uh-huh. She offered nothing further. She did, however, refund our delivery charge - AFTER I REQUESTED IT since they messed up the delivery. Anyway, the whole experience has been awful and I’ll never shop there again - and will never recommend them to anyone.

The customer service representative said that my salesperson should be updating me on any changes, yet I have never once heard from her. Basically they charged me for a product that I have yet to see and have no clue when it will actually come. My daughter, Ashley Stelle spend over 2000.00 at the Florence KY store. It's been a horrible experience. First they forgot one of the chairs then it came broken. Trying to get in touch with customer service is a joke. She has called numerous times for help to no avail. The wait time to get in touch with customer service is over an hour and a half. I wish we NEVER EVER went on that store. After two months of calling nothing has been done

on January 30th 2020. this company Ashley/Morris charged me 103.00 and never delivered my furniture so I canceled the order. They still have yet to return the 103.00 they stole. In March before quarantine I ordered more furniture from them. Paid 240.00 For 2 months they gave me the runaround with delivery. I had to order everything from wayfair. 2 months later they were contacting me advising me I owe them money and it will be on my credit report. I then got a call in June stating they have no idea where my money went and stated they have been communicating with me to deliver my furniture (that was a lie). The lady then stated they would mail me a check for 240.xx however as far as the 108.xx they have know knowledge of that charge so I would not receive the funds for that. It it July and I still have yet to receive any check for merchandise I paid for and nothing was ever delivered. Worst company ever and they stole money from me and threatened to report everything to my credit agencies.
Ordered bedroom furniture 3/13/20 here it is 6/24/20 I’m still awaiting replacements for broken and incorrect furniture that was delivered.... supposed to be delivered 4/4/20 didn’t actually receive my delivery till 4/17/20. They also gave me someone else’s furniture too. Contact customer care which is a joke also. Finally delivering the other pieces of my bed frame today but not delivering the other replacement chest (damaged on arrival) or the replacement night stand (damaged on arrival). We can’t give a refund because they haven’t picked up/exchanged their broken furniture yet... not to mention I’ll be making a trip to Home Depot tonight to buy bolts that I never received either. YAY FOR ASHLEY FURNITURE complete joke.
Buyer beware. Make sure to read the reviews before you buy from this company. I sure wish I did. When review after review says the same thing, it’s not just a once off problem. We ordered a dinning room table and a bed set from them. On the day it came they forgot to send the hardware will all items. They also forgot to send two important pieces of the table. I tried to return but the delivery guys said I had to contact customer care. I call them and they tell me they will get the stuff shipped right out. Two weeks later the day I am suppose to receive everything we get a call saying it’s going to be another 2 weeks till they can get it. I can’t return it because now we are past their return policy. I go to Home Depot to get the hardware and a employee there that was helping me laughed because he said he has a lot of Ashley furniture customers come in to buy hardware that they forgot to send. The store is completely helpless because all they do is tell you to call customer care. They have a nice racket going. They tell the 3rd party company to refuse letting people return items during delivery and that they will help handle the problem. Well that just prolongs the time so they can deny letting you return things and string you along. When I spoke to a manager at the store about it he just says we sell a lot of stuff so of course there will be problems. I will never buy from here again and just want to help other people from making the same mistake.
If I could give this business 0 stars I would. Let&'s discuss the treatment my family has received from the &"customer service&" at this location and on the phone. We purchased my sons bedroom furniture and spent easily $5,000 that day. We were moving into a new home that wasn&'t ready but allowed them to set up his bedroom. 2 months later we were able to move in. He slept in the bed the first night then the next night while climbing into bed he hit his knee on the baseboard and a huge piece broke off. We contacted customer service immediately after via email to a girl named Anna with pictures for reference. She never responded so we called. We were told the replacement would be $75 plus a $100 an hour fee. For a bed that broke on the 2nd night of use, absolutely not. The supervisor of customer service named Lindsey never called us back so I called the store and spoke with Curtis, a manager there. He also states that they do not back product if something happens in your home. We have referred people here and all together between this purchase and a few others made by our family have spent around $15,000 this year alone. We will NEVER buy or go to this store again. You&'re better off at Value City. So disappointed!!
I purchased a bedframe close to four months ago. I still have not received my bed frame. Been sleeping on the floor because they will not allow me to pick it up from the store but can’t find a way to get it delivered to me in a timely fashion either. Easily the worst buying experience I have ever had.
Wayne is amazing. He spent a huge amount of time on us. He was helpful and directed us to pieces that fit our wants and let us drag him around everywhere else. We ended up putting together a more amazing living room than I could have imagined.
I ordered a headboard, footboard and rails. They were delivered on time but when taking them out of the box, the headboard was damaged. I called right away and after waiting on the phone forever, I decided to just leave a message. The next day I emailed them and received a notice that they don't accept that form of communication. These were the two ways of contact on my delivery receipt. I tried to use the chat method on their website and that went unanswered for hours. I then private messaged them on Facebook. It has been 4 days and no one has contacted me. Very poor customer service.

Had a table delivered to my house and they did not have all of the parts and I already waited 3 months for the table and they said it would be another month till I can get a table because they did not have the parts
The sales representative was sincere and helpful. She went out of her way to help me get want I wanted. The delivery went well, furniture was preassemble and undamaged. Delivery personnel very nice and professional. Appreciate everyone’s efforts. We love the quality of our new furniture. Thank you.
My fiancé and I ordered a bed frame for our new home, about 2 1/2 months ago and we were told that we would be able to come and pick it up on April 1st. It’s April 29th and every time we call. We leave a message with both of our numbers so that they can call us back. And they say that they will get back with us within 24hrs but they never call. I understand that they are closed but that’s what the delivery is for. I’ve had my mattress on the floor ever since I moved into my apartment. And now I’m getting married in 3 weeks, still with no bed frame. 🤦🏼♀️Im just very disappointed about their customer service.

First time I had ever been in the store. I was looking for a mattress. I picked a Stearns & Foster Oak Terrace for 1241. Won't mention names. The salesman gave me a delivery date six days out. The day came. I had everything moved out of the way, took my bedding off the bed to go. At 3pm, no bed. I checked online and I was unknown. I called the store, asked for the manager. I said I've been waiting all day here and no bed. The manager transferred me to the salesman. I wanted to talk to the manager, but she refused. he said he ordered it and then the manager opened the order to waive shipping? Then the manager didn't reorder it. Who knows? He said I could have 50 off and they'll deliver next week. No expedited shipping. I'd have to wait another week. I was SOOO mad. I got my money back. Macy's has the same bed but they won't price match. It's 200 more. I'm sleeping on a twin that the guy left here from his kids and it was horrible. idk whose fault it was. don't they follow up on orders? they lost my sale and i never went back for anything else. that's what happens when you screw up. you lose business. i got online and order a SAATVA. nice mattress and i'm very happy with it. there was no drama. their customer service is good and customers don't get handed off to someone else with SAATVA.
They had an excellent selection of affordable pieces. We bought two bedroom sets and a dining room set. The delivery persons and sales persons were fantastic. Unfortunately, a side table for each bedroom set and a leaf from the table were damaged. I am beginning the process of having them replaced. Hopefully, this will be corrected with minimal trouble. If so I would add at least one star to my review. Wish us luck!
Back in July we received the best customer care when we where looking to purchase new bed, but fast forward to February when our bed broke, when my husband was holding my 2 month old baby and he fell half way through the bed holding my baby after burping him. I called that night to see what we have to do. They have a repair company contact me after 48 hour . it take them 2 weeks before to get someone out to my house. And that the last time I ever heard anything from them. I understand that the covid-19 is going on.
I moved into my new home a month ago. I placed an order for a bedroom set 3 weeks ago from Ashley Furniture. The scheduled delivery was for 4/21/2020. I received an email the day of to confirm my delivery date for 4/23/2020. I called and was told it would be pushed out even further. They took no responsibility what so ever and blamed it on the manufacturers. Apparently they do not have manufacturers that can be relied on. I understand that this is a hard time for everyone, but to wait until the day of scheduled delivery is not good business practice. I had several people that warned me. I will no longer shop at a place with such unreliable business partners and bad business practices.
I did not purchase this furniture at the store. This was an online purchase. However, I do not care. This is a short version of what has happened. I would love for someone at Ashley to step up and take ownership of this issue. This is about an order placed in November 2019. The table and chairs were damaged. You all sent a shipping label and we shipped it back. You all mailed out another table and chairs. The next day we received the damaged table and chairs back. One of the reps at Ashley ask that we donate the items. We donated each table and chair set sent as requested by Ashley. You all sent out two more tables and chairs - all damaged. The last point of contact with trying to resolve the issue was a rep stating she would make sure that each item was inspected before delivery. Apparently that did not happen because the items were damaged. I was promised a credit numerous times. I never received it after communicating with your reps numerous times. I disputed this charge with my credit card company. I received an email from a rep Alicia Delgado, said she was with Ashley. Said Ashley issued a credit 1/3/20. I never received any type of credit. Explained the entire story to her. She researched and found you all could not issue a credit because of the dispute. My credit card company said that did not make any sense at all. I questioned that back to her in an email and no response. No response since end of January. We are in April. STILL NO TABLE SET and NO REFUND. I am beyond furious. I sent emails to corporate, to your contact us and been on hold and disconnected numerous times, NO RESPONSE AT ALL. WHO CAN HELP ME?
Worst place ever! Waited month to finally receive all of my purchase. Wasn't compensation at all for their multiple mistake and screw up. Their customer service is terrible and rude. I will never shop here again and will tell everyone not to as well! I don't know how this place even stays in business it is literally the worst company I have ever dealt with! They deserve 0 stars! Spent months waiting on my full delivery and was not compensated at all for any of their mistakes and multi screw up. Their customer service is rude . I have no idea how this place stays in business! Worst company I have ever experienced! DO NOT shop here you will regret it! Took months for me to receive what was ordered. No compensation for any of their multi mistakes. Worst customer service and so rude. You do not want to shop here! I don&'t even know how they stay in business!
This has been the worst experience trying to buy new furniture. I ordered a table and chairs and after a month I drove over an hour to pick them up for them to tell me when I got there, that they didn’t have everything. It’s been 2 weeks and I still haven’t been contacted about the missing pieces. I tried to call several times and waited over 20 minutes each time to not get an answer. This seems to be a common issue that everyone is having. I will never buy anything from here again, and will advise everyone not to as well.

Loved my salesperson but poor quality furniture. Always bought Furniture Fair before and after spending $5000+ On multiple pieces at Ashley I will be going back to Furniture Fair for the remainder of my life.
Details of my poor experience below. 1. I was told all furniture was in stock, it was not. 2. Had to go into store to pick up lamps after I purchased. It took them over an hour to find where I had paid for them. 3. First delivery truck broke down. 4. 2nd delivery was an hour late, and informed that day that all my items were not in. 5. 3rd delivery was over an hour late with no update. 6. 4th delivery was supposed to be bed and office chair per email. No chair and didn’t have hardware to put bed together. They were 2.5 hours late with no phone call. 7. 5th delivery truck breaks down again and not called until an hour past delivery window. 8. Guy hangs up without confirming next delivery time. 9. I’ve left three messages in the past week with no response. No one will make it right. Don’t tell me to email you like you have with others. You have my name and number. All I’m asking is to make it right with clear communication. Update. 10. They scheduled 6th delivery. Didn’t bring hardware again. Of course no one is answering the phone to resolve. 2nd update 11. 7th delivery, bed was delivered with mold on it 12. 8th delivery was a chair and was broken in the truck. 13. Review email listed below has not returned my email, nor has the store manager called me back after leaving a voicemail this morning. 3rd update 14. Review email has still not responded and I’ve reached out again. 15. 9th delivery failed to deliver again. 16. Still have not received check refunding delivery fee that was promised over a month ago.
I purchased 3 items in-store that we had picked out online about 2 weeks ago. I was told one of these items was not available for purchase online so I couldn't price-match it. I went home and found this item for $110 cheaper online, available for purchase with my delivery zip code entered. I've spent the past week and a half trying to contact Ashley's to resolve this. I was finally able to talk to someone today after being on hold for 30 minutes. They fixed my issue as quickly as they could and confirmed our delivery date. It can be a hassle to get ahold of someone but, at least in my experience, once you're properly connected, it's painless to resolve the issue.
The experience was by far the worst I have ever experienced in customer service. I ordered 2 new beds for my kids on Dec. 21 and was told they could be picked up on Jan. 30 and that someone would call. On Jan. 31 I still had not received a phone call. I called and found out that not all the pieces had arrived and the new date was now going to be Feb. 12. On Feb.12 I received no call so I attempted to call and was made to leave a Voicemail being told I would receive a call back but that never happened. I continued to call the next 2 days with the exact same outcome of a Voicemail and no phone call. I then on Saturday Feb. 15 drove to the store which is located about 40 miles from where I live and found out after speaking to the manager that all my product was there and I should have received a call. I asked about a discount for my troubles and the fact that it had taken nearly a month and a half to get my merchandise only to be told that they don't do that sort of thing. ( Mainly because why should they since it was already paid for) I explained that my wife and I were planning on buying additional furniture for the other 2 bedrooms in our home as we were remodeling each room at a time. Unfortunately for them they won't be seeing any of that money because of the poor customer service in which they provide. I do not recommend buying from here simply because once you pay for it they could care less if you get it and aren't willing to go the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied. I will say however the customer pickup employees are outstanding and will go above and beyond to make sure and assist you with smiles.
Buyer Beware Customer Service is Terrible!!!!! Update 2/14 order is still not complete, no return call from Sophia Edwards, the sale rep., I Called 3 x’s and sent an email. I literally cannot get anyone from this company to help. Update 2/11- still do not have a complete order. No help from Customer Care. The service rep that showed up on 1/31 said he was ordering a new mirror since the parts delivered do not work. Called for an update and the customer care department told me they are NOT ordering a new mirror but would once again try and send me the right parts if I could give them the serial # of the mirror. Called my local store for help, no return call. Emailed my sales rep., no response. Beyond words to describe this joke of a company. Update 1/31/20 - yet again they showed up, wrong part delivered and still not able to complete the order. They have to order another mirror and could not give me an ETA. The incompetence of this company is unbelievable. This fiasco has been going on for 1 month, multiple phone calls and still do not have what I have paid for. Missed the confirmed delivery appt, did not call to explain. Finally reached them after 2 hours on hold and no return calls from the store managers. . When they delivered the order 1 week later it was not complete. Delivery driver told me he could not help I had to call customer service,. I have yet to receive my complete order but cannot get any help. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to assist. Unbelievable lack of customer service. Update - still do not have a complete order and no clear answer on when it will arrive. Rec’d a call and the response was, call us once your order is complete to discuss a refund on delivery fee. Ridiculous!
In store, we had a great experience! We found exactly what we wanted at a great price The problems started at delivery. The couch was delivered with one section slightly broken. You could sit on it, but the damage was visible. It was the middle of the holidays and we needed something for our family to sit on. We were told by the delivery company that we could accept on a conditional basis only, with the condition being they&'d fix the broken section. Pictures and notes were done.Fast forward nearly two months and several calls/voicemails, nothing has been done. Ashley pointed their finger at the delivery company, sales team etc... and we still have a messed up sectional sitting in our house.

My husband and I are a young couple and I understand that most people will assume that we aren't looking for expensive furniture. We were simply looking for a couch to move into our townhome. We went into Ashley furniture and as soon as we walk in all of the sales people are sitting in the furniture in the front with their feet propped up and playing on their phones. We get a couple of glances and then they look away. Finally some lady gets up rolls her eyes and makes an annoyed sound. We tell her we are looking for a comfortable couch she just kind of shrugs says OK and leads us towards the back. We are looking at a couple of couches going back-and-forth considering our options she kind of stands there and stares at us with her arms crossed and then we find one that we actually like. On the same area there's a love seat and a recliner, but we only want a couch. So we ask her for the price of the couch, she says the whole set is $$$. My husband says that's OK we just want the couch. She looks at him and says well the recliner and the couch is $$. We then reiterate we are only looking for a couch. I understand when you are a sales person you are trying to make a sale, but when someone is only wanting a specific item and they continuously tell you that they only want that item just give them what they're asking for. Because the next thing she says after I tell her we don't want the recliner, she looks me dead in the eye and says "is your living room seriously that small?" My husband and I have never been so angry, we told her to forget about it we'll go buy a couch somewhere else. We left went to value city and got an amazingly comfortable couch that we now have.

Which is way more money and a complete loss of a customer. I had to call every single day to find out when our furniture could get delivered and all they ever said is they would try to work on it and would call me back. They never called back and didn’t do anything to get our furniture to us in a timely fashion. I will NEVER shop here again after the way we were treated. I ordered a $1,500 curio cabinet for my 12 year old daughters birthday for her trophies and awards. I explained that time was of the essence. They told me it would be 2-8 weeks. After 6 weeks the store contacted me telling me it had not been ordered and it would be an additional 2-8 weeks. It came after roughly 4 weeks. The delivery crew explained they were short one man, but the 2 men carried it into my house, damaging the mirror, the wood finish and knocking out 1 large piece of the glass exterior. My salesperson called me the next day and suggested I ask for a new one and that they would grant my request. They sent out a repairman who also recomended replacing the entire unit instead of repairing it. He said the damaged full length mirror in the back would take significantly longer to order and install it than ordering a new unit . I simply acknowledged him. The company waited over a week to contact me until I was in church on Sunday morning and said that they didn't care what the salesperson said or the repair crew. They said it was their policy to charge me a 15% restocking fee or that I wait months on the repair. I stated that she may be correct on her companies policy, but that ethically it is incorrect. She also said that both the delivery crew and the repair person from (SAW) were not their employees but an outside hire, therefore she believes that makes her company not responsible for their suggestions to replace it. I know I am responsible for the actions of the subcontractors I use in my own business. I have taken this to my Attorney to hopefully make them abide by what their salesperson promised.
Ashley Furniture breached a contract of sale with us. They delivered low quality furniture that they did not display in store. We utilized their return policy and we requested a check to be issued. It took 13 business days to have a check cut and we have not received said check in 4 weeks after being informed the check would take 5 business days to deliver. We are seeking legal action against Ashley Furniture.
I purchased a small sectional sofa from Ryan. He had the order written up perfectly! I scheduled it to be delivered on a day my daughter worked so she would be surprised when she returned home. The delivery guys were awesome!....very professional in attitude and how they were dressed! The sectional, however, was the reverse of what it should have been. Upon discussing the matter with Ryan, every detail was double checked and a new one was ordered. We were invited to keep the incorrect one free of charge to use for the 3 weeks until the correct one was delivered today. Again, the delivery guys were just awesome, and very accommodating in checking to be sure the new sofa was correct. They were very pleasant and apologetic for a problem which wasn’t even their fault! Many stores pitch a total fit when you complain about something...even when you have done nothing wrong. Ryan and his coworkers were nothing short of kind, caring, and very willing to make corrections to a problem which, quite honestly, was most likely just a fluke. I have ordered a coffee table and end tables which will be delivered later this month. If I have any future furniture needs, my first stop will definitely be to visit Ryan at the Florence location of Ashley home furnishings on Ky. 18. Went in store with my Mom on Dec 2. She purchased a couch, paid in full on Dec 2 (couch of course wasn't in stock IN STORE). Salesman BILL AKER told us that it's not typical practice to schedule a delivery date, but he was gonna hook us up and schedule delivery for Dec 15. On Dec 15, afternoon goes by, no call and no delivery. Upon calling customer service, my mom learned that the couch was, in fact, NOT scheduled for delivery and was in holding. Upon request, they refunded the $80 delivery fee and assured my mother that the couch would be delivered on Dec 18 between 2-6pm. Come Dec 18, delivery gets rescheduled to in between 7-11pm. It's now Dec 18, 11:23pm and wouldn't ya know it.... STILL NO COUCH. We had old couch picked up by trash collectors on Dec 16 ( which was supposed to be the DAY AFTER original scheduled delivery.) We've now had folding lawn chairs as our primary furniture nearly all week. Hard for me to understand why the payment was cleared day of purchase with no issues... but the delivery seems to be causing trouble. Can't say we'll be shopping at Ashley or Morris again... EDIT (12/19/19): I've now been informed the next possible delivery date is Jan 6. It apparently wasn't delivered on 12/18 "because it got too late" but thanks to a “Christmas Miracle” (according to customer service rep) our couch can thankfully be delivered 12/21... which leads me to my next question... Am I expected to believe after it got "too late" to deliver, the movers went back to the warehouse and REMOVED the couch from the truck? and If not, how come it can't be delivered today (12/19)? (they claim because "all trucks are full and scheduled for the day") Again people, this is the treatment and customer service you will get by purchasing a piece of furniture and paying IN FULL within minutes of walking into the store. EDIT (12/21): Just received a call, couch is damaged, can’t be delivered now until Jan 3. Requested full refund, we’ll see how long that takes. EDIT (12/26): Called to check on progress of refund, it wasn’t even processing yet. Can’t get another couch until I receive refund. Been on lawn chairs since Dec 16. PAID IN FULL day of original purchase! (Dec 2). This is ridiculous. IN CONCLUSION: Purchase directly from Ashley fell through, still waiting on refund (12/31). Went to Big Lots, bought the couch and could have took it home same day (if I had transportation). Used Dolly delivery service (through app on App Store) and had the couch delivered two days later, no problems at all. I would highly recommend checking out Dolly for any delivery/hauling needs you may have. (Payment finally refunded 1/2/2020)
I've never written a negative review before but the level of incompetence of your services was spectacular. I bought a sleeper sofa and ottoman in November. The delivery date was 18/dec and made sure they knew I needed it before Christmas. I confirmed the delivery date and window (noon-4:30 pm) multiple times by phone and email. They were a no-show. I called customer service at 5:30 and they said they moved me to to the 5pm to 9pm delivery. Called them back before the shift ended and said they should arrive at 10:40 pm. I get an automated message at 11pm that says they are 30 minutes away then the tracking link shows they skipped my house and by midnight is "unavailable". I waited for them for 12hr on a weekday and not one phone call from them to tell me they cant make it.I call customer services the next day and was reschedule to the 22/dec. Again no word from them so I call customer service again and they say that the person who rescheduled me was new and didn't know that they don't deliver to my area on that date and the next date available is 3\Jan. Now, I was assured by the customer services lady that it is not a guarantee that I get the couch on this date or any date really. And this could go on indefinitely, but good news is if I finally give up they wont keep both the couch and the money! Yay?! Basically you have to chase them down to know whats happening with your furniture because they wont call if they're not gonna show up. You have no contact with the delivery services just customer services.
Waited 2 weeks for sectional and recliner to show up. When it finally did, only half the sectional came due to damage. So i have half a sectional with a dangling cushion sitting in my living room for a party i scheduled weeks ago. Had to call and wait on hold for 23 minutes to find out that the rest wouldn't come for yet another week. Only compensation they would offer was to waive the delivery fee. Gee thanks.

We had a great experience at this store - especially because of the associate who helped us, Ryan Mcilvain. We never felt pressured to buy anything and when we made a purchase and the delivery dates were an issue for our needs, Ryan went above and beyond to help accommodate us and followed up every step of the way to make sure we were happy. Will definitely be back in the future.
Horrible store. I was shopping Black Friday weekend for a couch with my fiancé who has purchased thousands of dollars of furniture from here. First -the sales people are overly pushy and don’t understand what, “we would like to look by ourselves, we will grab you if we have questions” means. We tell that to one rep, and then the manager gets us, then he walks away and 3 other reps came up to question us and explain the sales. I’m in sales, so i understand going the extra mile, but enough is enough. And then they FOLLOW YOU around the store and wait. Unprofessional is an understatement . They were cursing and speaking inappropriately for being in sales with a store full of people. Second-We found the rawcliffe 3 piece sectional with a free ottoman for $1,900, that we were ready to purchase. Our sales rep was so pushy to sell it, and we were ready to buy, but it being 2019 and the internet being available always, i decided to try and find a cheaper price. She told me they would price match within a 100 mile radius if it’s”brick and mortar” i found the couch at a store for $1,199.99 in Lexington Kentucky. 71 miles away from their showroom. She immediately got snippy with me and no longer wanted to help, pushed me in to her manager and said well it’s up to him if he does it or not. I ask “is it a policy to price match or is it up to him” she replies oh no it’s up to him. The manager then said , he will not be willing to do it, and then said it had to be within 20 miles of their store. And that also , because he gave me a $50 coupon that would be the best he’d do for me . So now I’ve been followed around the store, and lied to. And i leave with nothing. This store is a disgrace, i like Ashley furniture for the pricing and availability but this store is atrocious. Now i am back to looking at full price options for couches because of 2 incompetent employees. I have contacted corporate via email and still no response. Horrible service on both ends. What a disgrace of such a great store.

Word to the wise.. do not shop here! I've tried to replace a broken bar stool, that arrived split for 3 weeks. 3 managers later, return still wasn't processed. Delivery team shows up WITHOUT replacement and then says "uh.. we'll just take the broken one" with zero replacement still. Absolute TRASH customer service.
Terrible. I have shopped here for a long time and have purchased a lot of furniture from them. The place has gone downhill signifantly the last couple years.Their sales approach is very shady and they play the game of trying to get as much out of you as they can before offering &"specials&". The delivery experience I just had was a complete mess. The driver showed up at my door, sat in my driveway for 5 minutes then left. I immediately called and they said they were knocking on the door for 20 minutes and no one answered but they would come back. 1 hour later they showed back up and said they had a stomach ache and had to leave. Then the driver proceeds to tell me, he was told to bring my furniture without the hardware to assemble it. So after all of this I still don&'t have my furniture.... but no worries! They will be able to attempt delivery again, in just 15 days!

Bought bed like this and battled thinking my house had mold for 10 months hire Inspector and put holes in walls, turns out smell is permeating from the wood on the bed. Customer service was very very rude and not helpful! As you can see inspection happening right next to bed. Shame on customer cares behavior.
I didnt make it in store from 2 steps. An associate approached me. I told him nice to meet you but I am only looking and if I needed any help I would come to him.. I walked halfway down my first isle. He approached me again. I was followed the entire store. He was about 20 steps behind me from whatever direction I walked. I walked out. To me you need to give space when I said I would come to him if I needed anything. It made me feel very uncomfortable to even to try to look.
Horrible customer service. When we arrived at the store the first sales lady would not answer my questions as to how much the furniture was going to cost. She kept evading the costs. Finally, Mike the store manager took over for her. He was very knowledgeable about the stores inventory and about sales. We do not have enough credit on one card to purchase all furniture woman. So store manager suggested that we open another line of credit. I’m doing so we were able to get everything that we wanted. The problem started when the store manager scheduled our home delivery for a Sunday.That worked well for us since we were going to be on vacation that week. When we were on vacation we received emails saying we need to schedule our delivery. When I called the number. No one answered I called the store and no one answered. After countless times and countless phone numbers of trying to reach someone I finally reach someone at the delivery service.He told me that they do not deliver to our area on Sundays. So I tried to call the store. Finally I finally reach someone. They told me that they would have to deliver on Friday. We pay $9200 for the furniture that we bought. And we had to leave our vacation a day early to make certain we will be home when it was delivered. When the furniture arrived one night stand was damaged. The delivery guys were really nice and very courteous. They said someone would contact us to try to make a repair on the damaged nightstand.Two weeks later no phone call. Totally unacceptable. If it wasn’t such a huge hassle and my wife did not want this furniture as bad as she always wanted it. I would have taken it back.
After buying an expensive King Hickory couch here, we have had problems with the cushions after only 3 years. We hardly use the couch, so it was surprising that they broke down in such a short period of time. They charged us $50 to send a tech out who looked at them for about 60 seconds and told us he didn't understand why they sent him and didn't just replace the cushions. Fast forward to a week later, and Morris is claiming the tech said the cushions were just subject to normal wear and tear and they would not replace them. Terrible customer service, won't stand behind their product. I recommend shopping anywhere else!
Bill Aker, Product Specialist, did a great job explain the differences among brands we were shopping. He also insured that we received competitive pricing and scheduled timely delivery of our purchases. We would work with him again.

Very good experience salesperson helped us right away while our granddaughter checked on line prices they agreed to these low prices the salesperson showed us some more better quality chairs at good price so we actually purchased the ones he showed us still at very good price! They were delivered today and the delivery was when it was promised and very nice delivery people a good experience!

Your never going to believe this one. I bought an expensive dining room table from my local Ashley Home Store and within 2 months and prior to even using it I notice the top surface bubbling up in 8 different areas. Ashley Home Store won't honor the 1 year warranty. Now they are saying I must have too much water in the air. My home is climate contolled and it's also worth noting that my other furnitue is not bubbling not even my self assmebled cheap t. v. stand. I would never trust Ashley Furntire again it is obvious to me their furniture is poor quality and they don't honor their warranties. Don't give them your money or you will be sorry. . . . Horrible. . . what ever happened to company Pride and Honor. . . . Not at Ashley Home Store.
We were scheduled to have an order delivered today for my grandmother, finally convinced her to order a power lift chair so she can get up and down easier. They "forgot" to call us and let us know when people were coming, and when we called to ask they told us it was in the next half hour so we had to rush to get ready to meet with them. After rushing over here to be ready, the bed part of her order came fine, but the chair was defective off the truck and had to be sent back. They're now telling us after an hour plus on the phone, the best they can do is in store pickup in a week, if we want it delivered again it'll be even longer. That's not acceptable. They made a mistake, we shouldn't be paying for their incompetence. Buy elsewhere if you value your time, or want halfway decent customer service where someone is willing to actually step up and do something to make things right if something does go wrong.
After purchasing this furniture online 5 months later I received a letter in the mail stating I had not paid for it. I purchased it online and my credit card was authorized. They are now turning this over to collections and I am going to have to gather all of my documents and dispute this false accusation. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! My wife and I both have e-mailed you and hope we are able to come to a resolution.

I ordered a bed and night stand about two months ago, and I didn’t receive it yet!! They delivered to me twice, but one time they forgot to send a footboard and the night stand was without handle! another time they send a wrong footboard and again they forgot to bring the handle for my night stand. This is a last time that I will buy anything from Ashley store and I am not recommended this store to anyone. By my experience their services are awful!!

We purchased expensive patio furniture in May 2018 and purchased the warranty. The salesman told us the warranty would cover all rips and tears no matter how they got there. So in July 2019 we noticed 2 cushions were ripped and a pillow, we called Guardian the warranty company and were told since we couldn’t say exactly how it happened it wasn’t covered. I called the store and talked to April who said that was not right and to call the customer care department which I did and was told nothing they could do. I asked for a manager and was told they would tell me the same thing but they would have one call me and never received a call. Called the store back talked to Skylar who told me Ashley dropped Guardian because they find ways not to honor the warranty. Skylar was going to send the GM an email detailing everything and have him/her call me and well I’’m still waiting for that phone call. After emailing Skylar and calling and not getting anyone to answer at the store, I finally talked to Skylar again on August 1st or 2nd who said that they were working on the store itself making it right and replacing the cushions and pillows and I should hear something by Monday, August 5th and still I have heard nothing. I called all week and couldn’t get through to a live person and emailed Skylar again with a read receipt and he read it and still no response. So not only did they sell us furniture that does not hold up, they sold us a warranty from a company that they knew didn’t cover their products. I have never seen a company with such terrible customer service or a company where the GM or any manager for that matter will not call a customer back.
Our experience with Ashley furniture was horrible when it came to delivery. The guys that delivered it tore up our new house :( they put holes in the ceiling, tore our hallways light up and put huge marks in the our wooden banister. We emailed them complete with pics asking to fix the issues. . . well that was 2 weeks ago and we have yet to hear anything
EDITING again per visit to store. I’m changing this review to 4 stars because I don’t want to sway people away from their business. The staff is incredible and even though they’re always swamped with customers they always make you feel like gold. Sophia is wonderful and deserves a vacay bc that lady is always running around trying to satisfy the customers! And the manager there, I can’t remember his name, but he was excellent! The problems that happened with my order had nothing to do with the store, but more so the manufacturer. They need to work on that. EDITING per contact with customer care today 7/31 - we’re not getting our king headboard until SEPTEMBER 26th!!! So now we have no bed, a mattress on the floor, and a huge box of pieces sitting in our master bedroom because they don’t have the headboard and won’t until the end of September. This is absolutely garbage. They recommend I come back into the store, play the showroom game to figure out what’s in stock and pick a different set. Avoid this place at all costs! You get better service and the same quality furniture and Value City. I would’ve given 5 stars if my review were based solely on the purchase of the furniture. However, we purchased our furniture on the 18th of July and are slowly getting the pieces delivered. Today, they delivered our king bed frame but without the headboard, so we have a gaudy, heavy box in our room and still sleeping on the mattress on the floor. This was done in error, but the delivery team told us they can’t get us the headboard until a few days from now because they only have two trucks. It doesn’t make any sense to deliver the furniture piece by piece. Not to mention, we won’t even receive our nightstands and dresser until the beginning of September because they’re behind on orders. We didn’t know this until after we picked it out and paid for it. Very disappointed for the price Ashley charged for furniture, only to drop the ball when it comes to the delivery and fulfillment of items. Probably won’t be purchasing from this store again. But your delivery team is very friendly and polite. They apologized even though it wasn’t their fault. The saleswoman was also very friendly and helped us even though she was the only one there that day with multiple customers.

To no one's surprise, only my couch is scheduled for tomorrow and everything else apparently never got rescheduled after it didn't make the last delivery. I'm losing my mind and all I want is the furniture I paid for months ago! I have cancelled weekend trips and taken time off work to be home for delivery multiple times only to sit at home with no furniture. Everyone I've spoken to has been seemingly accommodating over the phone, until I later find out that half of my furniture was left off the order. Truthfully, I have very little hope that my couch will come tomorrow and am even more skeptical I will ever get the rest. I've been sleeping on the floor and living out of suitcases for 2 months now and considering cancelling my entire order and buying somewhere else. Been buying furniture from Ashley for our new house, a little at a time, because I'm indecisive. Ryan helped me on my first visit and I continue to have him help me when I need to make a purchase. He has helped me find items I need to fit in certain spaces. I've ordered things that weren't in the showroom and he did a good job at describing them for me, how to care for items. He's very helpful and is good at what he does. Overall good experiences and happy with all my purchases so far.

The only reason this review got 1 Star is because 0 is not an option. The worst shopping experience I have ever experienced, originally on our first visit we thought everything was great we were looking forward to getting a new couch and bed frame. Fast forward 4 days the reliever arrived an hour and a half prior to our delivery window leading me to have to take more time away from work for this delivery, then the wrong couches are shipped not the ones we were expecting so the delivery men said they would inform the store and they would follow up with us within 24 hours no call all I received was an auto email to reschedule delivery when I followed up with our rep we weren’t offered an apology he just said that was the set you and your wife wanted. As if to say were the ones who made the mistake, stupidly instead of canceling the order and walking away we decided to give them another chance. Even though our couches we wanted were unavailable for nearly 2 months. We went into the store and worked with a new rep to find something we would like, he was helpful and we walked out with an invoice for $1600 more than the couch we wanted but were ok with the deal. Well now after contacting the store I was told that the 1600 was not for all of the items so the actual cost was 2500 more than we would have wanted to spend and more than just ordering off the website. I called the store to follow up and was essentially told this is what it is, emailed to follow up and they never responded/ Do yourselves a favor and never use Ashley furniture. They can’t fulfill a simple order respond or apologize when they mess up or even admit they are wrong. We will never go here again I suggest you do the same
I am a 30 year customer and recently purchased a sectional from the Mason, OH store. I was concerned about the stitching before purchasing as it is very prominent and was assured by the salesman that if we purchased the insurance it would be returned if necessary. Now I've discovered Ashley will do me a great favor and return the sectional and charge me a 25% RESTOCKING FEE. The piece cannot be repaired as all the stitching is coming loose, a single thread across the entire seat. Are you kidding me!! You are charging me a fee for purchasing a poorly made product after owning it for 19 days, after assuring me that this would be covered. I would never have purchased this sectional if the salesman had told me this when asked about that specific concern. I spoke to a Market Manager at the Florence store, Cody Fitzpatrick, that had zero answers. He offered me the same as the call center 25% restocking fee. This is a big mistake on your part as you've ignited not only a fire but a fire storm. Your loyal 30 year customer will never, ever walk in your door. Believe me you haven't heard the last of me. I will keep climbing the ladder until I get a resolution. Hello Mr. Wanek.

We were in Ashley last week and had an overall great experience. Really, this review is for our salesman, Wayne. He was great to work with and helped us with everything we needed. He even moved some furniture around for us so we could make some decisions. He was easily one of the best parts of our experience. Kind, understanding, and patient. The employees are paid on commission, but he didn't constantly try to up-sell us. The only reason I would not give this store itself a 5 star review is because of the complicated relationship they have with Morris. The stores are connected as one open floor plan, but if you purchase something from both sides of the store, you have to do with with 2 separate transactions while working with 2 separate sales associates. It makes you feel a little uncomfortable when you cross the middle line.
Wayne was awesome. He was very patient with us on deciding on which patio furniture we wanted and was best suited for us. He made sure we were happy with both sets that we bought and was ok with a later delivery date on one of the sets. Which we are. He didn’t even care that it was closing time. Thank you Wayne we will be back on our next furniture need..

I bought a reclining chair the end of April. I had a very hard time getting my correct item delivered. After the 3rd wrong delivery, they figured it all out. Then they scheduled it at a time that wasn't possible for me. The 1st woman I spoke with, not very nice, and didn't care at all about everything I went thru already. All I wanted was to have them deliver it at a different time. I just called after work, and Justin was AMAZING!! He within a minute, moved the time to accommodate my needs. Justin if you read this, you r the man!!

Billy Aker. I hate buying furniture, but I desperately needed a new set before moving into a new house. I showed up during an extremely stressful week just to look at my options and Bill helped show me bedroom sets. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured to buy or like he was hovering for my business. My husband was unavailable and I wanted to talk to him before making my choice. Mr. Aker told me to take my time, talk it over, have him see it in person if possible and he would be ready to help me when we were ready. The next day, I had an AWFUL day but knew I wanted to buy the bedroom set. I went in and Mr. Aker was there, new exactly how to get me what I wanted (Cali King Storage headboard) and gave me a great price. Buying the furniture was the best part of an otherwise horrid day. I walked out after purchasing: 1 Cal King Storage bed, 2 nightstands, 1 dresser & 1 chest of drawers - and delivery scheduled on the day of my choosing. I will definitely send people to Billy Aker for all furniture needs and will be back for my dining room set and living room furniture.
Sales ppl are very friendly, not overbearing or rude. They let you look around without interfering. They're also very knowledgeable about the pieces there and have fashionable ideas of what look and feel if each room you want to achieve. Definitely will shop there again! I love the new living room set as well as the family room set I bought from them. I also appreciate the way the sales ppl allow you to look around without hovering or pushing anything on you. They have a very expansive variety of nice quality furniture and great warranties! Their prices are comparable to other furniture stores with upscale expectations. We will shop them in the future.
Misled by sales staff on purchase that I had order the middle of March. Was told finally One piece was discontinued went to store to have my purchase credited to my account, Ask about the other piece I purchased told it would be there April 17 in the Florence store We went to pick up and was told we had to go to Eastgate to pick up after 10 phone calls stating deliver to Florence. After be lied to and staff Shonda raise her voice to me first and I raise my voice to her The whole customer service experience was horrible and RUDE, I will never shop at that store again and I will certainly share my experience with everyone who mention about going to your store Debora Ashpaugh. I went all around town looking for a nice sofa, and I found by far the best deal here. They also had the best customer service. I had all of my questions answered quickly and thoroughly, and it was a pain-free process, especially considering I had special requests. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Ryan did a wonderful job sharing his knowledge of products. The couch we purchased was not one available to see in the showroom but he did a great job of finding pieces with the fabric and shape of the couch we wanted to give us an idea of what it would look like in person. He took time to explain how to clean and care for the items and gave us an expectation of how long the piece should last for our living situation. He was also able to find a flexible date that worked for us for delivery. We are so excited to get our couch in 2 weeks!!

I purchased a bedroom set for around $2,600 back on November 7th, 2018. As of March 1st, 2019, I still had not received this furniture. The delivery date kept getting pushed back over and over again with a different explanation each time. Back in January, the GM Cody offered a $400 store credit for the inconvenience, which I used to purchase a dining room set,. The dining set was delivered 2 days after purchasing with only 3/4 chairs. We had to wait an additional 3 days for the 3rd chair. Which at the time, wasn't a huge deal but after everything we've dealt with from Ashley its just another inconvenience. Since January, the delivery date on the bedroom furniture has been pushed back 3 more times. Finally, it was set to be delivered on March 2nd. The week before, I called just to verify that it was still coming, only to be told that it had been moved to March 10th. Each and every time it had been moved I had to call and find out. I was never called to be informed of any changes. I called and spoke to Cody again and he invited me to stop by the store to perhaps pick out another set. I went that same day and couldn't find anything that I liked and for the money I was paying, I didn't want to settle. I asked for a refund from Mike Hill that same day and he convinced me to wait until the 10th because he could see they were about to get a large shipment of that particular set in. He then started saying that the reason is was taking so long was because they had to make sure there wasn't any cocaine or sex trafficked women in the shipping containers which I found extremely inappropriate and a weird excuse as to why it was taking so long for my furniture to come. This was all on Monday 2/25/19. He also promised that he would be keeping an eye on my account and would call with any changes or updates. On 3/1/19 I called again to check on my order only to be told that it had been moved YET AGAIN to 3/14/19. At this point, I asked to speak to a manager and demanded a refund and I wasn't being talked out of it this time. I spoke with Crystal who again tried to convince me to wait but at this point, I've already been waiting nearly 4 months so I just straight up wanted my refund. She told me the refund would take 24 hours on Ashley Furniture's end and then another 3-7 business days for my bank to release the funds. She also said she would email me a copy of the receipt from the refund. I never received the receipt. As of today, Tuesday 3/5/19 I still hadn't seen the transaction pending in my bank so I decided to give Ashley a call. Low and behold, Crystal NEVER processed the refund. Jackson processed my refund and emailed me a receipt. Upon inspection of the receipt I realized they did not include the $400 credit that was given in January. If this is the case then the store credit was for nothing and they've done nothing to fix the inconvenience at all. I would not have purchased the dining room set from them at that price if I would have known everything I know now. I would also like to add that this bedroom set is still being sold to people on their showroom floor as of Monday 2/25/19.

I had bought 2 end tables in the store and loved them, so I ordered one on line the same one that the other 2 were. The one I ordered on line was made cheaper that the other 2. The knob on the drawer was diifferent.
