Bryant was very professional and provided great customer service

In the morning, Ashley delivery service indicated the delivery would be between 3 and 6 and there were 14 deliveries ahead of me. At noon, there were still 14 deliveries ahead of me, but my ETA WAS 3:20. Throughout the rest of afternoon the ETA kept moving out, with little progress moving through the list Now it is 6:00, with 3 ahead of me and an ETA 6:20 and the drive from where the truck is is at least 20 minutes away. They need to improve on scheduling forecasting ETA. Wasted my entire afrernoon/evening. Now 6:15, 2 ahead of me. ETA 6:45, but still a 20 minute drive away. My guess it will be 7 - 7;30, if at all today. It's now 7:09, still 2 ahead, and ETA is 7:36 and it is dark outside. Not a good business practice to enter peoples homes after dark. Decided to cancel delivery and talk to sales associate tomorrow. 7:20 with ETA 7:45. :(

I had great service from Heather Brannon. The store had a lot to choose from. Heather listened to me about what I was wanting and she helped me find it. I will definitely shop there again.

Manager helped us at first and handed us off to a sales guy (Bryant). Sales guy wasn’t very friendly and just had to write us up as we made our choice with the manager. I assumed he was a bad salesman which is why the manager threw him the bone. He pushed the 0% which we didn’t really care for either way, but I did it, assuming he made some sort of incentive for signing us up for it. He then ignored me while explaining the bill to my wife. We agreed on $3600 and when I asked to see what he was showing her 5 feet away on the iPad, I saw that they had added a $800 warranty lol. I immediately said no to the $4400 total and he stormed off. He came back with a new total that now had delivery which was $399 lol. I’ve never seen a $400 delivery charge in my life and was frustrated that it was only added after declining the warranty. I said no and told my wife we were leaving. He stormed away again. Upon returning with the $3600 total we agreed on, he began to ring us up on his computer. We competed the transaction and thanked him before walking away. He never even looked up to say thank you. He just looked at his computer and said “uh huh!” As if he was doing us some sort of favor. I stopped to tell the manager on the way out, and he seemed sympathetic. I called back later that day to discuss the order with the manager and was told that Saturday was busy and not to expect a call back. So since he refused to call me back, I left the story here for him to eventually review. Thanks Ashley. Hope the furniture is better than the service.

Solid sales guy Tom. Was solid and straight to the point on acceptable deal. Worked to meet online sale which I appreciated.

I was not sure what to expect when we went to look for a new living room furniture. I was looking for a specific style and was not sure I was going to find it that quick. I was met by a friendly sale staff and I explained what I was looking They have a huge selection to choose from and the staff were very friendly and I never felt pressured by them for a sale. My salesperson was super super professional and I couldn't believe how much he knew about what the item I was looking for I will go back to Ashley. The next time, I need to buy any other kind of furniture. And I will contact him personally too. Because it was just a great experience for me.. I can't even say enough how professional everyone was at that store? I will go back and I will refer him. And everyone in the store it was a great experience.

Poor Quality Of Furniture! My Mom & Her Husband Purchased A New Couch But, When It Was Delivered The Couch Wasn't The Same As The One That Was Purchased And They Delivered Another One And It Was Worse Than The First One After All That I Went To Ashley Furniture With Them And We Requested A Full Refund On The Purchase And Finally Was Able To Get Refunded. We Would Never Purchase From Ashley Furniture Again!

I bought a couch with electric recliners from the outlet and was never told it was as is. I was sure it would include the power packs that power the recliners but they were not. I called and texted the sales lady and she wouldn’t answer my text or missed call. I went to the store and was finally told that the power packs didn’t come with the couch! Makes no sense to me. And I think the sales lady that took care of was unprofessional. She should have responded to my text and voicemail but of course she didn’t. I will never buy anything else from Ashley Furniture!

If I could give 0 stars right now I would. Customer Service is terrible and I do not recommend nor will I recommend purchasing from them to anyone I know. We purchased a table and chairs back on 12/27. Jeremy was our sales agent and informed us delivery was available for the following Sat. We completed the purchase. On Wednesday of that week, I received a text regarding delivery. Instead of a time window that I was expecting, it was giving us different delivery date options . I choose the option to connect to an agent which never happened so I called in. I got a customer service experience agent who informed me it was back ordered til March . I’m like your text options showed starting 1/14 as an option. After some back and forth, we drove up to the store and Jeremy was there. He said that was all incorrect and took us back to talk to Julio another person there. He looked in the system and said he saw the same thing but he opened a ticket and would have Jeremy call us in a couple days with what was found. He emphasized that they even worked on New years and he would call. As you can guess no call came, but I did get a text a couple days later again with the same range of dates so I selected the 14th. Thought everything was ok until 1/7 where I get a message that it was delayed and to call in for reschedule. That person never even left a number to call back with so I called the main number and the recording after identifying myself said delivery was scheduled for 1/9 which was NOT a date I knew about. The representative that I talked to then it wasn’t in the warehouse but the first availability was 1/20. We accepted that and moved on. Today I expected to receive a call with time window but you guessed it another call with a delay to 1/28. So a month after purchasing I still don’t have a table, Ashley has my money and I’m left with excuses and terrible customer services 1/17 UPDATE - Ashley responded with an option to call or text. Tried to text the number but it said it was not monitored but gave another number. Tried to text that with no response. Why provide a number if it’s not valid or won’t respond

Very helpful In the store and on the phone but when it came to delivery the ball was dropped. They said it was scheduled and when I called to confirm they had no delivery date scheduled.

Heather was the best to work with! I will be recommending Ashley for all furniture needs to anyone who asks!

Thinking about buying go to their corporates google page and look at the reviews, 1.4 I believe. I’ve had my delivery rescheduled 3 times each time with a later date then finally got a email for a date I told them I’d be unavailable. Went to the local store for help and was told they are “two different companies” and we can’t help you. Also watch your prices, found the same set online for $300 cheaper from the same company. Unfortunately this is becoming the norm, terrible customer service and when you do talk to someone they are in another country!

After 3 attempts to get the order delivered after thanksgiving It was canceled without letting me know. It took me going back into the store to straighten it out. Thankfully the manager was very nice and gave me a discount for my troubles. I will not be back sadly.

My husband and I were looking for furniture, but were still deciding how to compromise. Tom was incredibly helpful, not overbearing and was to the point. It’s clear he knows what he’s talking about and it was nice to have his expertise.

Upon walking into Ashley’s furniture, Ms Kaitlyn M. Greeted me at the door with a warm Smile. I explained what I was looking for and she immediately said “well we have several white and ivory selections” as she walked me over to each Ottoman with a very positive personality which took a lot of stress off for me. I had to leave to pickup my daughter and will come back. Upon arriving, she had my final Two selection’s ready to review. I was ready to purchase two very high quality lamps and a beautiful oversized ottoman! After the sale, Kaitlyn helps me carry the lamps to my car and provides me the address to pickup the ottoman. When you want excellent service and support ask for Kaitlyn M at Ashley Home-store in Jeffersontown. If I could give 10 Stars, I would as this was the BEST buying experience in a long time.

Had a good staff member to help

We have purchased several items from Ashley over the years, but our most recent experience has been extremely disappointing. We bought a couch that was sold to us as both durable and easy to clean. We were very clear with the salesperson that we have children, four dogs, and two cats, and that we wanted something comparable to our previous couch, which lasted 15 years. We were assured this couch would hold up well and that spills could easily be wiped clean with a damp rag. The salesperson even claimed to have seen a company representative put ketchup on the fabric and wipe it off without issue. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience at all. While the couch held up for the first couple of months, it quickly went downhill. At just six months old, the seams are already coming apart, and the fabric does not clean as promised. Even after using a professional upholstery cleaner, stains remain. To make matters worse, despite purchasing the extended warranty, we have gotten absolutely nowhere with customer service. Both Ashley and the extended warranty company continue to pass responsibility back and forth, each claiming the other is responsible because the couch is still within the first year. This is unacceptable—especially since the couch is falling apart and does not have the fabric protection that was promised and paid for. I have also called twice requesting to speak with a manager and was told I would receive a call back within an hour or two. I have never received a return call. We have wasted approximately $3,000 on a couch that is clearly not made to last. Between the poor product quality and the complete lack of customer service, we will never purchase from Ashley again. This experience has been severely disappointing, and Ashley has failed to stand behind both their product and their promises.

Kaitlyn Mickey did an outstanding job of helping us find coffee table and end tables. She was knowledgeable and walked right the style we wanted. She was efficient in checking us out and explaining the warranty options. Excellent salesperson and outstanding experience.

Sherry was very nice! The delivery process is awful!!!! Plainly told the scheduling staff that I wanted all 3 pieces at the same time. They wanted to deliver the chair and ottoman, I said no. To schedule all 3 pcs at the same time. Scheduled for the 29th. They arrive with only my couch!!!!! Not impressed Ashley at all!!! You need to do better .. Sherry deserves 5 stars. But as a company you get 2

Great customer service

Dissatisfied to say the least. Delivery persons were efficient and friendly, but could not explain (due to language barrier) why one of my tables wasn't on the delivery truck. It ended up being dropped off hours later in a personal vehicle. I'm still waiting to schedule delivery for my sofa. I responded (within 2 min) to a text to schedule delivery and was kindly told to try again later. No response when I tried later, no surprise at this point.

Great experience! Josh was attentive and kind. There was a little payment hiccup where I was visibly frustrated (on top of driving through interstate construction and Louisville traffic) and Josh was patient and understanding which helped calm me down. He also waited on me to get there from out of town which took me about an hour which I know interfered with his lunchtime, as other employees were discussing lunch that he declined when asked because he was busy assisting me.

We shopped the Saturday morning after Black Friday along with several other customers. Adam, the manager paused in his walk-around to offer his assistance as we were exploring on our own. Grateful for his attention and for answering all our questions about the sofa we were looking at, he called over a sales person to continue helping us. Sherri Dorsey appeared quickly with a friendly smile and twinkling eyes, in spite of having endured 14 hours of Black Friday shoppers the day before. Much to our delight, she took us all across the showroom and showed us every sofa which met our desired criteria. She was quite knowledgeable about the variety of styles and the fabric features of Ashley’s products as well as the construction elements. When she learned that I liked to put my feet up (I expressed most interest in the sofas with chaise included), she also told us about the benefits of a flexible mattress base. She even demonstrated them to us and had us try them out. They are the ‘bomb’ and very likely there is one in our future, but today was all about the sofa. We did happily select one and are crossing our fingers that it will arrive before Christmas Day. Sherri was patient, an excellent listener yet very easy to talk with and worked with us completely without pressure, allowing us time to process all the options available. The delivery men arrived timely, were very professional, patient and courteous. I've had furniture delivered by Ashley Furniture so many times in the last ten years by different people at different locations and never had any issues. No one is perfect as the delivery men are moving furniture which is extremely heavy. I've seen some delivery men get treated very poorly because they were minorities. Each time someone has delivered something we always make them feel comfortable by offering a snack, beverage, or both and kind words. That always goes along way. People tend to forget delivery men are people too and should be treated with respect for the service they are providing.

Just love our couch and the design. Nothing like relaxing in a recliner that lays almost as flat as a bed to watch TV or a movie. So far believe it or not, we’ve bought 3 of the exact couch that was delivered today and another almost 95% like the other 3. We put Two on the first floor and 2 in the basement for when we have company over. The Delivery Team men unpacked, delivered the couches inside and set them up. Set up was always the same and every step was done at a very high level of efficiency. The delivery team made sure they got the couches inside and / couches set up and positioned where my wife wanted them put. The delivery team made guys were nice, polite and professional. I’d highly recommend Ashley Furniture Company for any and all your Home furnishings.

Jeremy & the store manager were fantastic! We bought new mattresses and they took a lot of time helping us to make the right choice and they made the buying process very easy. I would love to give 5 stars because Ashley deserves it but the subcontractor that does their delivery really needs to get it together. I understand there are things that delay the guys throughout the day and when you're one of the last deliveries of the day, it is compounded, which is what happened yesterday. We were scheduled for our delivery between 3-6 p.m. that time started changing around 5:30 and after multiple updates to the time, we finally got our furniture at 8:20 p.m. Now, here's the thing, the guys were fantastic, very professional, very jovial, very concerned about making us happy, I can't say enough about our entire experience except that we ended up having dinner at 9:30 p.m. and we have a medical issue that the constant delays severely impacted.

I will never buy from here again. This has been a nightmare experience.

Ordered a lamp 2 weeks ago said it was coming from a third part vendor. Never heard anything so I call today to check on order status and was told lamp was discontinued. Why is it on the floor if not available. Then customer service had no one available to process refund. I said not hanging up till it's done. They found someone to do it! Go somewhere else with reliable service.

Never had a single salesperson talk to me, which for once at a retail store was pretty relaxing. Wasn't a huge fan of their selections, everything seemed cheaply made and going back to 1970s looks.

Bought and paid for 2- reclining sofa along with delivery and set up and extended warranty. The delivery driver damaged one of the electrical cords to allow the sofa to operate and one end of a sofa is out of alignment. Contacted Ashley about repair and replacement of damaged parts, here we are 1 month later and still not repaired. Save your money and headaches and purchase from another company.

The store is always clean and well-organized like a beautiful home. Kaitlyn was extremely helpful by answering all my questions and pointing out alternatives. The price is paid for the furniture, 5 year warranty and white glove service was very reasonable.

I had been looking for several bar stools and a kitchen table and chairs. Heather was extremely helpful and took a great deal of time helping me find the combinations that would work best for my needs.

They are nice in the store and couldn’t wait to speak to me. My furniture was supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks. I arranged my schedule then 3 days before the warehouse called and said it would be another 8-10 days. I called the store to speak to my sales rep, He said he would reach out to them and call me back. He called back shortly and said everything was taken care of that. It will still be on the original date. The following day, I get a text saying to pick a delivery date for 9 to 14 days later. I contacted the store once again left two messages for my sales rep. Third attempt was to speak to a manager when I asked for a call back the same day the unprofessional lady I spoke to on the phone said well I’m not sure that they’ll get back to call you today. I told her to go ahead and cancel the order. She said oh that’s fine. I’m a keyholder. I can cancel the order for you right now. So much for Ashley furniture worrying about their business or their customers. I’ll never shop there again.

Ask for Tom! He was super knowledgeable, showed me the outlet and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase!

Came to the store to pick up a sectional and some other things and I met TJ Johnson. He was outstanding. He helped me put together a package and worked out a great price. I wish every transaction was that easy. Thanks for a great experience.

Received my table without screws to assemble it. Tried calling the number to get the screws and they referred me to another number to file a claim and the number isn’t in operation. Absolutely pathetic.

Bryant was excellent and very helpful

Their furniture is well made and worth the money. The in-store experience was great! However, the warehouse and delivery scheduling portion is terrible. We found out the hard way that our sofa wasn’t coming as scheduled on 2 separate occasions. No one contacted us at all, to let us know. We had to continuously chase them down to find out the sofa was wasn’t in one particular warehouse so then they had to get it from a different warehouse. Then that warehouse didn’t get it to the store, blah blah blah. We got text messages with delivery dates and times but no one showed up. We had to keep chasing them around to pull information out of them. Their communication is not good, after the sale is made.

I definitely won’t be a returning customer. I had my reservations and wish I had listened to them. The disorganization and lack of accurate information was so hectic. Nobody provided the same information. Pick up is horrific, save time and shop elsewhere. It’s way better service with other companies.

The experience at the store was great. Sales Rep was helpful and very friendly. However, the delivery experience was awful. This is now the second attempt to deliver a kitchen table and chairs scratched free. Was not successful at all. The furniture was taken off the truck unprotected and as you can see from the pictures, the chair has a small tear in it and several scratches, small nicks. The table and base has scratches and scuff marks all over it. Poor quality to say the least. Extremely frustrating when the delivery men laugh in your face as you try to voice your concerns. I have tried four times to speak to a representative from Ashley furniture regarding the delivery and issues with the delivery /furniture while being put on hold, keep getting disconnected. No one seems to want to rectify these issues. I shouldn’t have to pay for furniture that comes already scratched up and poorly put together.

Extremely disappointed. Delivery did not arrive until after 10PM. Table was damaged, cracked down the middle and one of the chairs is soiled with grease. The furniture was not covered in the truck. Driver took the table back. We still have chairs. STILL waiting on someone to respond on how to resolve. We expect a new table and replacement chair as soon as possible.

I felt that the salesman was honest

Sherry helped me choose and purchase THE perfect mattress. I have always had a hard time choosing one, but I explained to her my needs and the problems I have with the mattress I have now, and she immediately knew where to turn. She let me have all the time in the world to lay on three different mattresses and choose the one I like best. Because of her help and guidance, Ashley will be delivering to me my new mattress, and I am so excited. I am so ready for a good nights sleep with my new Estate queen mattress . I would recommend Sherry and Ashley Furniture a hundred times over! It was a delightful buying experience.

Zero stars. Worst experience ever!! Bought over $5k worth of furniture, paid for delivery to have a stained sectional couch and ottoman delivered. A ticket submitted by the driver was supposedly placed over a week ago to have it cleaned. We have heard from no one from Ashley’s regarding the matter. Asked for the manager at the blankenbaker location, however I was just tossed around to automated systems. They say they have a cleaning crew that will fix the issue but that we found out the hard way is a lie. Now we have to dispute charges with the bank. *************** buyer beware*************

The couch is beautiful & the delivery was made in the time frame given for the day. The only problem was my original delivery date getting pushed back one week.

Very disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture. We purchased a sidebar that was in perfect condition in the store, but when it was delivered, one of the doors was ripped off and hanging. It was clearly damaged during delivery, yet Ashley Furniture refused to fix or compensate us for the damage. We contacted the store multiple times, and each time we were told someone would call us back — no one ever did. Eventually, we received a generic email stating they wouldn’t help because it was a “final sale.” Again, the piece was not damaged at the time of purchase — it was damaged in their care during delivery. Now that we’ve posted a public review, they’re finally responding — but all they’re doing is asking us to call them, which we already did repeatedly, with no follow-up. It’s clear there was no intention to resolve this issue until it became public. In the end, we had to hire someone ourselves to fix the damage and pay out-of-pocket. At this point, the only fair resolution would be to issue us a Visa gift card to cover the cost of repairs. Disappointing customer service, lack of accountability, and no follow-through. We do not recommend buying from Ashley Furniture if you’re expecting reliable service or post-sale support. you are asking if you can resolve it now, but we have already been down that road and you refused so we had to hire it out to be fixed. If you really want to resolve this issue we would accept a $200 visa gift card to use anywhere - to cover the cost of getting this fixed since Ashley Furniture told us they would not take care of this. Salesman really helpful finding solutions to all the problems.

We spent nearly $50,000 at Ashley Mae expecting professionalism and reliability. It’s now been over 5 months since our purchase, and one major piece of our order still hasn’t been delivered. Every single time we call, we’re met with excuses, zero accountability, and an incredibly rude attitude. Their customer service is absolutely terrible — representatives are dismissive, unhelpful, and even hang up the phone when we try to ask for updates or speak with a manager. On the rare occasion we do reach a manager, he simply reads off a screen, provides no real help, and makes it clear he doesn’t care that our order has been delayed for months. We’ve been patient since May–June 2025, but this has turned into a nightmare. For the amount of money we spent, we expected basic respect and communication. Instead, we’ve been ignored and treated like we don’t matter. Ashley Mae should be ashamed of this level of service. We hope this review warns others — if you value your time, money, and peace of mind, think twice before buying from them.

The furniture is nice but the service after the sale is lacking. You can’t call the store with issues only get directed to a call center who mostly don’t know any answers.

My visits to Ashley Furniture were blessed and supernatural. Sherry and Josh were the angels in disguise who assisted me. My circumstances limited my budget, but the furniture that I needed was essential to restoring my home following a house fire. The first time I visited Ashley, Sherry assisted me with viewing my options. She was patient, attentive, knowledgeable, professional, empathetic, and treated me with respect in view of my circumstances. I didn’t attempt to buy that day, but knew I would return to Ashley to buy what I needed. When I returned, Josh came out of nowhere to assist me. He assessed my needs by asking me questions and actively listening to my responses. He used that professional skill to show me what Ashley had to offer. I was impressed! I had questions about what I wanted to buy. Josh answered all of my questions by allowing me to experience the comfort, appearance, durability, maintenance of my selections. I was persuaded and had confidence and trusted his suggestions. He helped me to buy exactly what I needed! Josh is amazingly gifted at his profession. Both he and Sherry exhibited stellar customer service skills and I am forever grateful for the service they provided. Thanks to both you!

Worst experience 😪.spent 5grand Manager ordered wrong bed and was a disaster from there. No communication was told one thing after another with broken promises. MADE 3 TRIPS TO STORE TO RESOLVE BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD CALL US OR SAY ANYTHING Had to make 3 trips to warehouse after being promised delivery and set up. Made payments on wrong orders and had to take off work. If you want to micro manage paid employees to do there job and do everything yourself for over priced particalboard. This is for you. Your warehouse people even had to apologize for several store transactions that they encountered with concern. They did their job and apologize for store not doing theirs.

Great customer service in store. However, we were not told the set that we purchased could take weeks to be delivered. I called today and was told that they would give us a weeks notice, as in they have no idea when it would get delivered!! I wish we had been informed about this when we bought it and said we wanted it delivered!!

My person that was helping me was great. His name was Wes. Additionally, he brought someone else over to provide me a discount for my warranty on my desk. Unfortunately, another worker walked by stating that she’s got the “Grandma”, Staking claim on a customer in a derogatory way in front of me. That really didn’t sit well with me and it made me wonder what the employees are referring to us as before they come to greet us.

I was looking for a sofa and Josh directed me to check the outlet items first. I found exactly what I needed and saved quite a bit by taking advantage of the outlet area. He could have easily started showing me more expensive items first. I appreciated his help and was excited to find a sofa I love at a great price.

The sales staff were very informative and helpful, but I felt the 80% off anniversary sale was misleading... i was going to spend about $1,000-1,500 and that qualified for a 10% discount... I had to spend $1,900+ to get a 15% discount... Lord knows what I would have to spend to get 80%! I asked if clearance items were 80% off and I was told prices were in red. Most of what I found (scratched and broken) were about 20% off regular price. I left and went elsewhere.

Josh is INCREDIBLE! His super knowledgeable and friendly, and gave incredible design ideas. I highly recommend asking for Josh if you are in store, he made this process so much fun!
