I was greeted by Ben right away offering his services to help me find just the right end table! He is a new employee but he brings to the team solid people skills and a great attitude. He navigated the slow and bulky checkout system calling upon team members for support. They were quick to respond and very willing to assist. Other than the wait time for the system to respond it was overall a great experience.

I was greeted politely by Bryant who gave me a promotion add and time to roam pointing me in the direction of children bedroom sets. After ample time to look around and finding interest in merchandise Bryant assisted/ answered question and completed the sale promptly. Pleasant and effortless process.

Sadly, I’m having a very poor experience. I bought 2 items out of the extremely large clearance room without being told the items were ‘as is’. The furniture had nothing on them that indicated as is or that they were damaged. If they had been, I would have scrutinized/looked them over thoroughly. Next, I was not notified to set up a delivery so I contacted them. After receiving a call (unable to answer at the time), my husb called back to confirm the date and time. We waited all afternoon but no one came. I then called a customer service number. I was told they could see we approved of the date/time but it did not get relayed to the delivery people. We then had to wait another week. Now today we received the couch and chair and both were damaged. We discovered this just after the delivery men left. Upon calling to place a complaint I was told they were ‘as is’. As I mentioned earlier, I was not informed of this. We are now waiting to hear back to see if we can resolve this issue.
Online price not honored and protection plan double charged . Returned to store day after delivery for understanding and was not given understanding or refund on the protection plan charge of $349 versus $149 for same product online. Manager just said the cost of the couch increases with 0% financing when online financing shows same product cheaper with 60 month financing (online for 1223.99 w/ 60 month financing, charged 1249 for 36 month) . Special financing is a joke and is clear they have no interest or concern for returning customers or continued business . Don’t shop at the Jtown location, or do extensive research before purchase. My fault for trying to get out the door quickly because of my kids and not paying attention to the detail a little better.
Salesperson was friendly and helpful. He was not high pressure and allowed us to price several items.
Sales people were nice and helpful but very misleading. Told us what we wanted to hear to get the sale. Lied to us about how our mattress was packaged. Tried to get a hold of a real person but all I got was a call center who also could not get anyone at the store on the phone. Then, they said someone would call us to set up delivery. Noone called just got a text giving me a time. Tried to talk to a live person to change delivery time but once again, couldnt. You can never talk to anyone at the store or warehouse. Canceled orders an going somewhere else.

Bought a small side table in the outlet store. Paul, the salesman, was nice, helpful and not pushy. Good selection of furniture and wall decor in the main showroom.
Crazy that I paid $2k for a couch to have delivered to my house within a month. Here I am a month and a half later and now I’m being told it’ll be another 6 weeks before I get it. Mind you I sold my old couch in prep for the new one so now I have nothing but lawn chairs in my living room. Absolutely ridiculous.

Had to call an automated line Im still on the phone 35 minutes Worst customer service ever. They delivered one night stand the rest of bed room suite is 8-10 weeks out And nobody let us know until the day they said they would deliver it all

I will never buy from the store again. Made an online purchase their return policy is you must notify them within 72 hours of your desire to return if that is not done they will not accept a return whether online or in store.

I had the best customer service experience with Will Letke. They should have more managers like him.
Worked a deal and was using 48month financing as payment option. Signed multiple forms and payed a $145 dollar down payment as required. Then get informed that what i was purchasing did not qualify for 48 month only 6 months!! This is after being told multiple times I could go up to 60 months and after spending hours in store. Then to top it all off they could not refund me my $145 dollar deposit!! This was not one single employee not be knowledgeable in an area but Multiple employees.. Needless to say i wish someone there knew what they were talking about.. and hopefully i receive a refund on my deposit that i was told could take up a week

I am pleased with the service that was rendered to me. The salesperson was informative, courteous, and patient.
My sales associate was awesome the manager who provided the Override was rude. I declined the extended warranty and he said don’t call me when you have a problem. He continued to try to harass me into taking the coverage. I wanted to walk out based on his behavior.
Unfortunately the savings you might benefit from are offset by potential mistakes and lack of customer service. We have spent countless hours trying to track down our correct order as a result of the in-store representative placing the wrong order. We ordered our bed on Aug 3. The wrong order was delivered on Aug 22, and we still do not have the corrected item on Sept 4. Will not shop from Ashley again.
Avoid this company at all costs. If you have a coupon or they are having a sale it’s not worth it. We bought a bed for my son in the store, it showed up it was the wrong color. I’ve been on the phone for total of 2 hours over a week and half span trying to get this fixed and still no answer. Every time they tell they are waiting on a supervisor to approve it. This is even after the store and customer service have admitted they made the mistake. I get it mistakes happen but this is the worst customer service I have even had to deal with.

Disappointed in my experience with this location. Moved to a new home and needed a few furniture pieces. I purchased two beds, a dresser and four night stands. Paid for my order in full. The store experience was good, but the delivery process was a nightmare. First delivery was cancelled becuse the rep charged me 1 cent less than the total. Second delivery date one bed came with the wrong hardware. Second delivery date was cancelled with no warning. Third delivery for one piece. Fourth delivery the bed had NO hardware. My husband drove to the store, got the hardware but did not come with screws. He just bought screws to put the bed together. Ashley is just not what it used to be.

Furniture is wonderful, the salesman (Will) needs more training. We purchased from the outlet and Will, set up a date for us to pick up the furniture 6 days later and said it wouldn’t be a problem. He also assured us that the furniture would be wrapped when we picked up. 24 hours later I received a text stating that it had to be picked up within 72 hours. I called the store to clarify the situation and then Will called me a few hours later with a made up excuse that “Corporate called and that you all were getting a large shipment and we needed to pick up the furniture by Saturday”. I understand that people make mistakes, but making an excuse for his mistake instead of being honest was disrespectful to the customer. This was a huge problem for us as my husband travels out of state for work and was out of town. I understand policies and we figured out how to make it work but the furniture was not wrapped and the very nice gentleman that worked in the warehouse said they don’t wrap furniture or have the supplies to do so. Both my husband and I have worked in furniture stores and understand that training is a big part of the job but these are issues that Will needs to understand the actual policies and procedures with Ashley.

I purchased a 5 drawer chest at Ashleys a month ago. That was the easy part. Since then I have been lied to about the delivery time and have never received one phone call from alive person from Ashleys. I have only received several emails or text messages from a chat bot. When I bought furniture from Ashleys I was told that they could deliver my furniture between 1 and 3 so I wouldn't have to take off work. When I call the store no one there knows anything about delivery times or how to get a hold of that department. So I just ended up accepting the 9am to 12 for delivery time and now forced me to miss a day of work. So I waited and nobody showed up first schedule delivery. So I called and again No one could help me at the store. So I get to use the chat bot to schedule another delivery for only morning appointments so I get to miss another day of work. So now my delivery is set for 2 days from now. I will never buy anything from Ashleys again.

I was given a delivery date in the store that has now been delayed by a full month. I would not have made the purchase if I knew the delivery date would change so much. As an aside, my name was put into the system as "Tonie" even after the clerk asked how to spell my name? Bizarre.
What an easy and stress-free buying experience. Julio was helpful in talking us through the different mattress options to find our perfect fit. We never felt pressured or rushed. We will definitely buy from Ashley again.

I don’t know know where to begin. I love my furniture at least what I got of it. Customer service is non-existent. I have left multiple messages and have yet to get a call back. My table keeps getting pushed back What good are the chairs with no table? Discontinued the barstools so another dilemma. My delivery was 12-4. Showed up closer to 6 pm and only after we chased down the truck who had gone to the wrong address and was just going to take the furniture back to the store.

Everything went very well until AFTER I left the store and my friend said the salesperson told her I had to wrap the mattress in some kind of shrink wrap to protect the people who deliver from my possible germs. A, I was not informed during the sales process, I was surprised. B, I am on my own and do not have readily available help. C, why can’t the delivery people protect themselves with gloves and masks if they’re so worried?

Wonderful shopping experience. I was greeted immediately upon entry and I was ask what was I shopping for. I was shown a good selection of 3 cushioned sofas and was directed throughout the showroom. I chose this sofa below and will plan to add the club chair and ottoman.

My husband and an I visited the store on May 14, 2024 and had a great experience with Madison, an awesome customer satisfaction specialist. We found the living room item we were seeking and Madison measured the item to ensure it would fit our space requirement. She completed the paperwork and scheduled delivery for our order. Then Madison asked if we had ever looked into a Tempurpedic mattress and we responded no, we had not. She invited us to visit the section of the store where numerous types of mattresses were on display. The area was very inviting with muted lighting. We tried a Tempur Adapt Medium with the Ergo Pro Powerbase and the back discomfort I live with was quickly reduced. My husband, who does not experience back pain, was also impressed with this bed It was truly an amazing experience. We told Madison we wanted to think about the bed purchase, and on May 17th we went back to Madison and purchased the bed. Awaiting delivery and we are very excited! Thanks to Madison for introducing us to a great bed system that I know we will enjoy for many years! I would like to highly recommend this store. It is a very large store with numerous, beautiful room displays. The ceiling is very high which adds to the spacious feeling and lighting is great. Staff are friendly and very helpful (I told you about Madison), but when checking out we had conversations with several other individuals, and they were great too. Comfortable environment! I was in the store and saw a desk that Ashley had listed with a retail price of $599.99. The floor model was priced at $390.99. It was not damaged at all so we purchased it. I returned home and found it online on their website for $329.99. I contacted them and was told that they would not accept it as a return, they would not do a price match or refund me the difference. I will never set foot in their stores again and I will advise anyone who asks to shop for furniture elsewhere. This is the most shoddy business practice I have ever encountered. Were I able to give this company zero stars I would not hesitate to do so.

Michelle is awesome!!!! So great!! However, I bought on a Monday. Scheduled for Thursday delivery. I found out Tuesday night the company picking up my other couch couldn’t get there till Friday. I tried to get a Saturday or next Monday delivery so I didn’t have two couches in my tiny condo. I was told by multiple people there was no way at all to push it out because it was already on the truck. For the life of me I don’t understand why a phone call can’t be made to push it out a couple of days. But again Michelle was fantastic to work with. We shall see more after delivery tomorrow. It’s definitely going to be tight in here for a couple of days.

I just purchased a sectional sofa and bedroom furniture from Ashley’s. The salespersons name was Madison Young and she was courteous, professional and accommodating. She was thorough and did not hurry thru the process. She said she was fairly new but I would have thought she had been there for quite awhile due to her knowledge of the whole process. Prices were great also. Great experience.
Julio was amazing and I was a super annoying customer considering I needed better lighting than in store. I kept asking him to move the table around to see in various light. He helped me with a selection, they wrapped it nicely and loaded into car. It was super quick and easy experience. Out the door into my home. Julio was super patient and not pushy. I appreciate that.
We have had the worst experience with this company, and the final straw was the fact that they tore up my driveway. First off they delivered the wrong furniture, which took an extra week to fix. Their delivery guys on both visits didn't speak a bit of english which was pretty sad. We've had countless phone conversations with that store and their robot "jenny" who was useless. As mentioned, our overall experience with this company has be far been absolutely our worst with any company. Their departments don't communicate with each other. They even went as far as implying that we didn't pay for our additional purchase of 4 pillows, which was grossly incorrect (we showed them receipts on the initial purchase for these pillows). But when this final event took place, the "phantom driver" delivered these pillows when it was dark, was too lazy to walk an extra 50 feet to place the box under our front porch, so the package was rained on. I truly don't even know who the delivery source was because he just pulled up into our driveway tossed the box near the garage door and the proceeded to wipe out the side of my driveway. Take a look at the pics and ask yourself, what kind of people are these companies hiring to make these deliveries?? I will continue my pursuit up the corporate ladder to receive compensation I assure you. Ashley will provide some form of satisfaction to this matter because I will not stop until they do!!

It’s been a month and my order is still not right. Everyone orders the wrong thing. It’s hard to get anyone on the phone. No one returns calls.
My retail experience was leisurely and pleasant. There was no pressure from the sales associate and all of my questions were answered.
We were greeted right away and they were very nice. We wasn’t rushed or pressured in completing our transaction. She answered all questions that we had and they just had a friendly atmosphere all together
Absolutely worst customer service. After shopping for my furniture, and paying for it, I find out I did not get the best deal on a TV stand which the employee promised me. Since I paid for it with a check, they said they could not refund me for a few weeks. Quick to take money but slow to give it back ordeal. The manager promised to refund me and give me $100 more for the inconvenience, and even took a picture of my order number. It has been 8 months and I STILL never got my refund. But it does not end there. The day before my furniture was supposed to be delivered, I called the store number to make sure my stuff would arrive the next day, only to find out through voicemail that their system was down and orders would be delayed. Did they notify their customers about that? Nope. I called customer service to ask about the problem and the woman I spoke with just brushed me off and hung up on me. So I went to the store in person to ask what the deal was. They just told me that orders would be delayed until their system is fixed and were very unapologetic about it. The store manager refused to give me the name of her supervisor on top of that. Basically, if their system stops working, they cannot do business. I will NEVER AGAIN do business with Ashley Furniture and I will tell everyone I know to not shop there.

Ashley furniture, Jefferson, town in Louisville, Kentucky, has a great variety of furniture and accessories. Seems like good quality. The salesman was knowledgeable and not overly pushy. We were able to get five-year same as cash. Disappointed there was no sale for the Presidents' Day week though. Also, delivery is very pricey. Over I would recommend going here

Customer service is kind of junk. They want the sale but they can't make a personal connection to save there life. I mean unless you enjoy your sales person walking in front of you looking directly at there cell phone then it's all you!

Do not go to the Ashley outlet in Jeffersontown! I have been lied to! I saw a fireplace in the clearance section without the insert marked for 1399. The fireplace in the front of the store has a separate price for insert. I asked the manager Dre if the fireplace insert was purchased separately. He said yes and even looked the fireplace up. It was dark wood with three separate gouges where you could see the light wood on the front with no handles for the two doors. He said that he would mark it down to 7 hundred and something. Because of the damage. I purchased 2 other things and while driving to the back to pick up these things he sold my husband the fireplace insert for over $200. We drove over an hour to get home. When I unloaded the fireplace I stuck a screwdriver in the handle holes of the doors to open them only to find out that there were no shelves! I told my husband and it was at that moment I found out that he purchased an electric insert that NO ONE has even seen. I looked online to purchase the shelves only to find out that it comes as one whole unit WITH the fireplace insert and it is $1099 new. I called Dre and he said I gave you a hundred dollars off. There are severe gouges in the wood, no shelves, and no handles! I explained that he was dishonest with me and he got mad and reverted to the discount he gave me. I asked to speak to someone else and he said that he would have Matt A. The store manager personally give me a call. I have left several messages since then. No call back! Dre is dishonest, do your own research don't trust the manager. And Matt you have a great way of ghosting customers!
Salesman and manager were good to work with when purchasing but they and customer service were unprofessional after that. We received an adjustable base that didn't work correctly and was never taken care of on their end....dates promised, phone calls not returned, etc until we finally had to get with the manufacturer to hopefully get taken care of soon.
Jay was able to get my order placed quickly and was extremely helpful & polite. On the business side, two things I didn't like was the fact that the "online" prices are different then the store and they outsource delivery. The delivery guys spoke broken english which made the actual delivery awkward and uncomfortable. Overall a decent experience, but I don't think I'll be returning for my next furniture purchase.

Good afternoon, I recently purchased 6 dining room chairs, not a huge purchase, but not cheap either. Ashley did not have the chairs at the store, so they confirmed that the chairs were available and could be delivered. I work out of State, so I adjusted my schedule to be present for the delivery date we set as January 3, 2024. Initially the service was attentive and the salesperson seemed to care about us. After we bought the chairs I returned to the store to make sure the chairs were the correct style and color. This time the same salesperson was working but never walked up to say hello or see if we needed anything. We eventually left and just figured we’d wait for the chairs to be delivered on the 3rd. Well, the chairs never were delivered on the 3rd and I tried several times to call the store, but could only get their answering service. I had to fly out the next day for work and I’m out of town until February. My mom was staying at the house from the holiday and was leaving on the 9th. I called the store one last time on Jan 5th, to ask if they could fix the problem and deliver chairs before the 9th, because this was the only time someone could receive them. The person on the phone did not understand the situation, so I tried to explain it a couple times. Finally after several attempts I was getting frustrated and said to the Ashley agent, just cancel the order if you can’t deliver the chairs in a timely fashion. Instead of them adjusting and fixing their mistake and dropping off 6 chairs before the 9th the agent left the line and said we will cancel your order. The sales agent was so smug and condescending in his response, almost like this sale didn’t matter and either did “I” the customer. Note to self, go to Bassett Furniture just down the street, at least they stand by their delivery. BP

Upon entering, I was looking at a sectional that I liked but was then greeted by Bryant. I showed him the sectional I was looking at online and he showed me the floor model. Excellent experience. I went back a couple of times to check on the set I had in mind before finally being able to bring my husband. We got the bedroom set, mattresses, and a mechanical base. It was so helpful to be able to buy them all in one place, knowing it would all fit together. Excellent service by Michelle throughout the entire process.

Bought a bed frame on a Saturday and two different employees told me I could pick it up on Monday at their warehouse located downtown. Drove my truck which gets about 10 miles per gallon there and they told me they don't do pickups on Mondays. Came back to the store I bought it from and they told me there was nothing they could do and claimed they didn't tell me that even though my wife who was with me heard it too. Not going back.
Ashley associates were courteous and very helpful with our furniture search. Delivery scheduling and delivery are yet to occur but so far so good.

Actually, at the beginning I had a very negative experience. I went in looking for a recliner that would be certified by a third-party for non-toxic materials. A salesman met me and said he didn't know anything about third-party certifications. He was brusque (must have had a rough day) and did not engage with me and my interests at all, and basically I felt blown off. It was an utter dead end conversation. As I was walking out of the store and had almost exited, another salesperson engaged me in conversation. I told her of my interest. She went to her computer and found details about "Certi-Pur," which does precisely this: is a third-party certification of -- it turns out -- Ashley furniture. On the basis of her research, her openness and spending time with me, and her gentle approach, I ended up buying a recliner. I really liked and respect the salesperson Catherine Johnson. It seems utterly obvious that salespeople should 1) know about and care about toxic and non-toxic manufacturing of your furniture, 2) know about and care about third-party certifications, and 3) know that the very products they are attempting to sell have at least a Certi-Pur approval.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My complete dissatisfaction is from the HORRIBLE “premium delivery service.” As well as incomplete order. I have spoken with 2 representatives from Ashley with no resolution. I was asked to give them an additional 24-48 hours to resolve any issues. Everyone seems to be passing the buck! Will I purchase through Ashley again…probably not! If I do, I will NOT use their 3rd part delivery service with an exorbitant fee. The delivery was far less than premium. I have seriously considered returning both the sofa and loveseat!

Just wandering around looking and Kollin approached and politely explained about the design of the areas and introduced himself and said if we had any questions or needed any help with anything to please let him know. Found what we were looking for and ask for him and he was very helpful, answered all our questions and made the sale very easy and painless and quickly as possible. I recommended him to another customer who needed help but did not want to be followed around. He was awesome and I would recommend him to anyone.
CAREFUL TRUCK DRIVERS DO NOT PARK HERE. If you park here, Pinkys Towing will come with the whole crew (truck tow truck and 3 other trucks) will tow your truck and trailer or you will pay a fine. Our driver paid $350.00 (SIGN has $138.00 for larger vehicles) so that he doesn't get towed. Ashley has placed a small sign about this at their entrance.

Came in at the end of August . Purchased 7000.00 dollars of family room furniture. Our sales person which was Rorry was awesome. Furniture was delivered .Three hours late . I looked out in time to see one of the guys dragging my flip top table down my aggregate sidewalk . I yelled at him but it was too late. He had already ruined the table . Then they proceeded to bring in the couches and couldn’t get them thru the door . So they pushed and pushed almost tearing my siding and my outside lights down. They had someone come her to fix the couches . He had to order the leather to fix one . But said the other one is fine. It’s not fine the three chairs don’t even sit even the leather on the arms looks like it’s a hundred years old . Someone called me about an appointment to put the leather on . I told her that I didn’t buy refurbished furniture and I want new furniture .she said I understand I will have to talk to my supervisor and I will get back to you . I said ok . A few minutes later she called back and she said she talked to her supervisor and she said no she would not do it. I told her I wanted someone higher up to call me but no one has . After what I have gone thru I will never recommend Ashley furniture.

My fiancé and I just bought a house and we’re both new to the furniture buying experience. We were helped Kollin Hope who was excellent in helping us find what we needed within our budget. We could not ask for a better buying experience after being to some other high pressure stores that needed the sale more than we needed the furniture. We would highly recommend if your in the market for an end table, or furnishing your entire home.

Lots of options, we looked elsewhere and found another couch we loved but then came to Ashley and found a recliner sofa that just suited our needs and comfort even more. Everyone was more then willing to help between questions about the furniture, delivery, providing a tape measure when needed warranty, etc. Just know there is a cost for delivery so if you didn't think about it you can factor that into your budget.

Looking for a TV stand. Found a nice option. Day one for the New guy being trained on the transaction was a very good experience. The $200 item was in stock and could pickup the 2nd day from purchase. Pickup was as expected and efficient. The minus 2 stars is the policy of a “mandatory requirement “ of collecting sensitive information and waiving specific rights after the purchase on a 5 page packet of paper. No one could clearly explain the reason for paperwork after the purchase, other than this is “to be sure your form of payment wasn’t stolen”. I hope they didn’t leave this paperwork on the checkout desk. No other debit card accepting company has you verify in writing the card is valid after the receipt has been handed over. I would’ve cancelled the purchase if it wasn’t for our son’s apartment setup this week.

Came in on September 17. Purchased 4 dining room chairs with a delivery date of September 21. Got all approved financing. Thursday came and nobody called and no delivery. Called customer service. Gave me the run around about some paperwork. Called again the next day. Same thing. Waited all day Monday. Called again. Was told they furniture was in Lay a way. Interesting because I had the financing paperwork work with all the terms. Nobody will return a call or attempt to resolve this. Will never do business here again!
Ordered 4 dining room chairs on September 17. They were supposed to be delivered on September 21. Sat around all day. Nothing. Called customer service said there was something wrong with the paperwork. Someone would get back with me. The next day. Nothing again. Called back. Still some paperwork issues, not my fault and somebody would get back with me on Monday. Still nothing ! Will not be making any future purchases
Ordered a cabinet online and the order was cancelled. Not happy about that part. But called the store and my sales person placed the order for me. Bryant was very helpful and courteous. Can’t wait to receive our item.

The experience with Ashley Furnitura was disappointing, I had a delivery for Tuesday the 19th which was canceled due to poor communication from the store employees, the seller left me a voice message on the day of purchase notifying me that the delivery would be on Tuesday the 19th. .and that on Monday the 18th you will receive a call or text message that was never received. On Monday night I checked my email and noticed that in the spam there was an email from them with a confirmation that I never imagined I would receive since that was not the notification that was left in the voicemail. Due to your poor communication, my delivery was canceled, the order was paid in cash and there is no notification of when the delivery will be, much less an apology for the lack of communication on your part. I called and they did not notify me that the Manager would contact me and he has not done so either. WE HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, if you have questions I will not recommend them or make future purchases.

Katey was very helpful and knowledgeable and very patient with us. But as time went on I had an issue that I didn't realize when my couch was set up. One of my cushions for the back was a wrong size. I have asked for a replacement. I did put off calling about it for awhile but once I started calling customer service I was given a certain number to contact and then another number and still no one has fixed the issue. I have texted as I was told and still no reply. I did receive in the mail a big white sack with no instructions except the invoice said replacement parts. I wander if I was suppose to send my pillow back to them but I had nothing to tell me that and no shipping label. If I am too late to have the issue resolved-then tell me that! I like Ashley furniture but I question whether they care enough about keeping my business. Sorry for the bad review but don't ignore me, it would of been better to tell me, it's too late!

Everything seems really overpriced there. Sometimes the price tags don't reflect the true price, so they may be cheaper than what I saw in the store today but still be too expensive for the poorer quality goods they are selling. You must just have to go into shop not caring what you pay and you may be pleasantly surprised if you are told it is cheaper than the tag. In the neighboring parking lot is AT HOME where you can find the same decor for much cheaper and accurate price tags on each item. I shopped at Ashley's today because I had a store credit that I needed to use in the next week or it would expire. Granted, the new worker was unfamiliar with store credits (not her fault), but I can say each time I have gone in there it's not a simple scan a barcode and check out. Today took me 25 minutes to complete my transaction. They always want ALL your information to plug into their terribly slow tablets, despite being a previous customer. After they plug your information in electronically, they create multiple papers for signatures and receipts. Ashley's needs to get up with the times and be more tech friendly so they don't keep creating such a paper waste/carbon footprint. They must be booming with online sales to keep a store the size of Louisville, KY's from closing. I can say I got what I was looking for after I was followed around and asked multiple times if I found anything or needed any help. The sales associates MUST work on some sort of commission but again, I can't blame the sales floor people for my experiences shopping here. They are just trying to make a living, too. I only visited in-person today with the intention of exhausting my store credit (which for some reason couldn't be used on their online site) before it expired and I tried to get as close to that price as possible so I wouldn't have to return. Otherwise, I would have avoided in-store shopping here.

First I noticed the new clean smell when I walked in the front doors of Ashley's. Good Labor Day sale. My salesman, Brian, was very friendly and efficient. This was my second time in to look at a sofa. I pretty much had my mind made up, but had to try it out one more time. He helped me make up my mind about the color. I was in and out in less than a half hour which was great. Will shop there again. Thanks Brian.
The truth is that I am somewhat annoyed because they put the delivery for hours in the morning and there is no one at home, they did not give me another option, only mornings and it was something that I talked about. Now I have to wait 9 days for delivery

I came in with a lot of furniture needs, to complete a decorating project, on a time deadline, and she was fabulous! The store was beautiful and had a great amount of choices. I opted for white glove delivery and assembly, hopeful that it will be as good of experience as I had in the store. I’ll definitely be back to purchase more in the future.

Best furniture buying experience over ever had the two gentlemen that helped me were fantastic. Everyone was very nice and helpful and were even able to help me switch around some parts to fix a broken couch leg. All that being said the couch is self is great and was the cheapest place I was able to find a section that size

We were greeted by Paul who was very friendly and informative about the furniture and sales, he let us venture around, no pressure. Then we met Bryant who explained the material of the furniture we were looking at. He helped us complete our sale quickly, exactly the way we like it.
They flat out forged my signature and driver's license information onto a credit contract. Don't walk away from Ashley, RUN!!! Can I leave a negative star rating? This has been one of the WORST experiences we've ever had buying furniture. They lied about the functions of the couch, lied about the warranty, kept changing the prices quoted, forged my signature on a sales contract for financing, and then Betty-Jean (the "manager") accused me of lying about my signature. I spent HOURS and HOURS on the phone trying to get help, but they refused. I had to contact Synchrony Bank to dispute the $2300 charge. As of today, August 18, 2023, it's been 7 weeks since the fraud claim was filed by me. We expect to hear the results of the bank's investigation by Sept 1. Once they confirm my signature, along with EVERY SALES DOCUMENT was indeed forged, I will be filing a lawsuit against Ashley Furniture in Jeffersontown KY (I'm 54 yrs old and I've never sued anyone in my life). Additionally, I will be filing a formal complaint with the KY State Attorney General's Office, the BBB, and the Federal Trade Commission. Don't take my word for how terrible this place is, GOOGLE THEM! 1.1 Stars!! I wish we had googled them before we walked in the doors. Buyer beware!!!
No clear communication, delivered furniture not usable. Important part’s missing from delivery. Delivery dates keep changing without even informing you. Frustrating and disappointed. They are so big company, they don’t care about customer satisfaction
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Extremely polite and helpful staff, Derek was wonderful. Will definitely look for him next time we visit. The delivery was scheduled for the original stated date, the website showing where the truck was and estimated arrival time was amazing. The delivery men were polite, efficient and cleaned up everything! I am very impressed! First purchase from Ashley but I will be back! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! Absolutely horrible. I purchased a chair in April and didn't receive the merchandise until the first week of August, over three months later. I made phone calls and couldn't get an informed answer from anyone, and sent emails to which there was no reply. The only part of the process that appeared to be normal was when the delivery men arrived with the merchandise; that seemed to go smoothly and efficient. I was also charged for a 'protection plan' that I neither wanted nor requested.
Arrived with purchase in the time frame. Hooked up both recliners. Great service and great salesman. Will use them again when I decide to make another purchase.

I had a WONDERFUL experience at Ashley. From start to finish. Katie helped me. She was patient and personable. She also gave me space. I had an idea of what I wanted but I still wanted to survey and really explore my options. I don't like being pestered or it feeling superficial like the sale is at the forefront of your mind and I didn't get that not once. The store was clean, smelled nice, it was organized & back to Katie, she was amazing. Went in to just start looking at furniture for a small apartment. Catherine was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I wound up buying all the furniture I needed. I decided to go with better quality furniture so it wasn’t cheap but payment terms were very reasonable. I haven’t got a move in date yet but so far my experience has been very good.

Great selection of furniture for every room. I didn’t like that I wasn’t offered assistance until after 6 minutes of being in the store. I knew exactly what I wanted I picked my item out online but wanted to make my purchase in the store.
The sales lady was super helpful! I purchased a sofa out of their outlet section. Ashley won’t deliver them, (which I think is crazy) but the sales lady had a third party name of someone who could deliver. So, she went the extra mile to make sure there was a solution for that!

I have bought furniture from Ashley in the past with good experiences. This last purchase was not good at all. The customer service is horrible. The delivery was longer than expected and the some of the furniture was broken on arrival. Ashley made promises to fix or replace broken parts and I have not received any parts or communication. I will never purchase from Ashley furniture again and will gladly share my experiences with all my social media friends as well.

I bought a couch from them using their financing. Michelle was wonderful to work with we didn’t get the couch we wanted but she helped us find one in the outlet that was in our price range. I will NEVER do business here again due to corporate telling us we can pick up the couch at any time during the stores hours so we waisted a total of 8 45 minute trips to the store to get the couch. On the last trip one guy, Paul, told us he didn’t see the problem in getting the couch but the other person said that we were not allowed to get our couch. I will be canceling the whole order and taking my business elsewhere. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. 1st they attempted to deliver my bed, they forgot the slacks so it was incomplete. Had to wait 24 hrs for a phone call to reschedule a delivery which was then several days later. 2nd attempt to deliver my bed. The delivery team had very poor communication and they were very rude. Called the delivery driver Juan O, 5+ times then on the final pick up he answered and hung up while I was talking. He seemed to not care and didn’t even try to deliver the furniture while I was sitting in my own home and he marked the order as incomplete. I received a text message saying I was 2nd in line, then the new text message was 1 hour away, then then the third text message was marked as arrived then incomplete. All these messages were sent in the matter of 5 minutes. DO NOT RECOMMEND, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, or you will be sleeping on a air mattress like me for weeks.

Customer service is non existent. Confusion over extended warranty led us down a rabbit hole of transfers and frustration. Furniture is not of a high quality for the price. The warranty company Protectall a wealth of bad customer service. Was told one thing on purchase something else from warranty people. Would not recommend purchasing anything from Ashley.

Terrible, our mattress, sofa, and chair was supposed to be delivered Friday (7th of July, 2023). The ottoman was supposed to take two weeks. Can't get anyone to answer the phone, have to text to a number and chat and that is unsatistory I am sorely disappointed in Ashley Furniture.

I enjoyed working with Hope. However, I am unable to give 5 stars, because the system was down when I placed my order, which I wasn’t made aware until after my sales was added up completely and was getting ready to purchase. Hope was unable to tell me a delivery date, and I still don’t have a delivery date for my purchases. I have expressed that I am needing delivery date before July 4th, so I am really hoping that happens.

I ordered a bedroom set with mattress and box spring. They delivered the bedroom set with a box spring and no mattress. I called and a recording came on saying that they were closed at 4 pm but they don’t close until nine. I called another number and it said my mattress was delivered. I called the sale agent she said she was off and couldn’t help me. I went to the store they said they didn’t have a manager there and they were sorry but it was nothing that they could do. I called the guest response team the agent said that she couldn’t track my order right now while roosters were loud in the background. I ask for a manager and waited on for 30 minutes still no response and no mattress

I got a sofa in clearance. The customer service agent was good. He helped us choosing a good one based on our needs. The only thing I didn’t like was there was no 1 yr warranty on the clearance stuff like they have on the other ones.

Heather and company took good care of us, despite some computer issues. Everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout the store. We returned to the store last Tuesday and had the absolute worst experience with the manager on duty. We decided to cancel our order and couldn’t get anyone in the store to answer the phone so we went there in person…big mistake. He didn’t want to help us because their customer service person was off that day. One salesman offered to help but he was told not to and we were asked to leave the store. We did and will not be back.

This place is a total joke. It is the worst furniture that I've ever bought. I ordered a all electric reclining sectional spent way too much money. It came with missing parts this was in September the recliner is broken. It looks like it is probably 10-15 years old. It is broken down. I have been trying to get this fixed since October and I get excuse after excuse after excuse the technician has been here taken pictures requested a new left armpiece. Which is only one piece that? I. Need? So it is now almost the end of May and I still cannot get a replacement for thi will never ever by anything from Ashley again they have the worst. Customer service I have ever seen. I've already reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I'm going to call one more time today which I've been trying to call and they will not answer their phone and then I'm hiring an Attorney
First time shopping with Ashley and by far one of the better experiences I've had while looking for home furnishings! Hope Wethington did an excellent job walking me through my options and making sure I satisfied with my decisions. I just moved into the area and the friendly attitude really helped me feel comfortable in an unfamiliar place. Definitely will keep her and this location in mind for any future furniture needs I have!

Karan was our salesperson and he was great. He helped us select a nightstand to match existing furniture at home. Buying process was quick and easy.
The salesperson was not willing to give the total and share the delivery until we committed and then when we went through all the paperwork gave us a total that was a thousand dollars more than what was discussed. All during the process he talked about the deep discounts we were receiving. Turns out the shipping is way higher than any other furniture store in the area, almost $400 which is ridiculous. When we questioned it they said it was what it was and if we didn’t like it we could leave, which we did. I always said I would never buy from Ashley after the last time when they gave us the run around on delivery and we had to end up canceling after months and months so they probably saved us more frustration down the road.

Terrible experience. Ordered and paid for a rug and couch. The rug was sent to our old address, even though the paperwork had our new address listed correctly. Got the run around between their overseas customer service and the store. Finally got a new rug shipped and it was the wrong one! Here we are three months later and still don’t have a rug we paid for. We’ve done quite a bit of business with them in the past but definitely won’t go back. If there are issues after the sale, good luck getting a resolution.

I bought a couch and chair last year and before the chair came in, they sold our couch so we had to wait for a couch to come in. We cancelled the chair because it still had not come in. Fast forward, the couch frame, which is under warranty broke and 4 months later, I’m still waiting for a phone call to get a service appointment. I’ve left several messages for the office manager and no return call. I will never buy from them again.

Delivery window was between 7:30-10:30. Received notification that I was the first delivery of the day. I was disappointed to realize they waited until moments before 10:30 to arrive. Would have been nice to not have waited for three hours when there were no other deliveries occurring.

My in the store experience was good except I made it clear to the salesman my deliveries couldn't happen till after 4:00 so I got to notice that my delivery be there between 12:00 and 3:00. I tried to get it straightened out with the delivery team but they decided to tell me that was what was convenient for them. I did remind them that I paid for this service and I need to be delivered when I asked for before I bought anything. More than likely I will be canceling my entire order a couch and a mattress. What is this world come to they take our money and we do what they say.

Wrong accent table was rung up and when the correct one was swapped out, I asked if the price was correct and the saleswoman avoided eye contact and whispered “yup.” I grew suspicious when I got home and found it on the Ashley furniture website for $60 cheaper. Super not happy with this dishonesty.

Very happy with my shopping experience at the Louisville location yesterday. I was greeted by a sales person (TJ) as soon as I walked in. I told him what I was looking for. He told me to walk around and where I could look for what I needed. Leaving me alone, no pressuring me in any way. He checked back with me in a little while. I told him what I had seen and what I liked and what I didn’t like. Then he looked with me, and I told him the differences between the pieces. Him, knowing the merchandise, he continued to help me, pointing me in the direction of size and style which was a challenge. I ended up purchasing exactly what I needed and wanted. He was so extremely helpful. I found TJ courteous and very helpful and I would recommend your merchandise, and especially Terrance Johnson (TJ) for the courteous, professional and truly enjoyable experience he afforded me while shopping for my sofa.

We paid in full for a couch and loveseat over a month ago that supposedly would be available for pickup in just a few days. So far, every call we try to make goes to a foreign call center, and we are told that the purchase is being held because we have not finished paying the layaway fee. Which there isn't, because we paid in full. We went into the store in person a week ago, and we were told that the issue with the purchase would be cleared up and we would hear from the warehouse the next day. It's a week later now, we haven't heard anything, and we are back to dealing with the foreign call center again.
Went in the store with the intent of purchasing some end tables. I found some that I liked so I purchased them and was told I would have them in about 2 weeks but it was about 3 weeks when I received them. Once delivered and the delivery guys pull away I look over my new tables and realized that the craftsmanship was horrible. There were big caps were the table and legs were welded together so I called immediately and the lady asked me did I want a refund and I said yes and then she goes on to tell me that I can't get a refund because once they are in the possession of your home that they are nonrefundable, so how would I know that they are defective until they got in myhome? So I was told someone would call me 1 to 2 business days to make an appointment to come out to look at them to decide if they would replace them and on the second I reached back out to them just to be told it will be another 48 to 72 hours. I'm so over this place I will not be purchasing anything else from this place.

We have already made arrangements to have our current couch picked up. I don’t understand how it was in stock the day we bought it but now it’s not. A delay is one thing but to say it’s in stock when it’s not is another story.

My husband and I ordered 7 items in October 2022 and paid for them in full. Our dinner table (most expensive part of purchase) was not on the delivery that arrived at our house today- only 6 chairs. After months of attempting to get more information from Ashley’s and being told “the table comes from out of the country and we do not know when the shipping container will arrive”, they told me today with the delivery truck in my drive way that the table has been discontinued. We received no communication from the store to inquire how we would like to proceed with the order we placed and if we would like a refund. We now have to wait to cancel our order and request a refund as our order shows as “out for delivery” status in their systems. I’m incredibly disappointed and dissatisfied with the repeated misses from this location after giving our business to it.
Bought a crazy expensive couch and the cup holder is scratched and the back of one our cushions is higher than the rest. But because I wasn't here at delivery to see it I can't exchange it with out using my protection plan that was $800. So now my options are deal with it or lose out on getting $800 back. I recommend inspecting ever inch of your furniture before letting the delivery drivers go.

Terrible customer service. Over promise and under deliver to make a sale should be their motto. The evening we purchased nearly $9k worth of furniture, we were told everything is in stock and can be delivered as early as tomorrow.Fast forward 2 weeks and nothing is in stock and can't be delivered for another 2 weeks. I look forward to sleeping on our floor until then.Save your money and a headache by staying away from here.

I will NEVER make a purchase with Ashley again. I would give 0 stars if possible. I ordered bedroom furniture, as well as a sectional. I had no issue with the delivery time, nor the fact it was pushed back and additional week. My issue started when they finally delivered it. One nightstand had the handles screwed INSIDE the drawers. We thought we could just switch them around, but they were actually stripped. So, they knowingly gave us a faulty piece of furniture. The bed had bent slats that the delivery guys told us we should replace ourselves because Ashley is cheap. We can’t even sleep on the bed because the slats are so bent and it feels entirely unsafe. The dresser has drawers that stick and won’t open all the way. I contacted customer service for assistance and it took a month for them to even get back to me. When they did, they asked for pictures and then stopped communicating. I called them back and told them I wanted a refund. They then told me that there are NO refunds. He proceeded to send me a copy of my contract which included a page AFTER my signatures that said No Refunds at the bottom. This piece of paper was not included in the hard copy paperwork I was sent home with. So, I told him if I couldn’t have a refund then I would need those 3 items replaced. He assured me I’d receive a phone call in 24-48 hours (we’re now on say 4) regarding replacement. That hasn’t happened. The owner that replies to people with a phone number is not giving you a person at the JTown store. It’s the same useless customer service that I’ve already spoken to. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. Seriously, go anywhere else. I will be encouraging anyone I meet to go elsewhere because this is ridiculous, especially for the amount of money involved. Ridiculous.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We bought set of sofas from them along with an ottoman. I waited to inbox the ottoman and realized there were no legs in the box. I called them for an entire hour, the first time customer service hung up on me. It would have been a mistake but the 7 other times I called the line was just dead air. I called the store and the manager said she could only put in a ticket but could do nothing else. I asked if I could exchange it for a whole ottoman the manager said no.They did not deliver what was promised.

Had an issue on price match and and warranty cancel .and they took care of everything in a professional and personal way ,I am very pleased the way everything was handled.
I am hesitant to write this review because I have actually met the owners twice before and they are wonderful people. My problem comes with the quality of the furniture that we have purchased. We have bought close to $10,000 In furniture from Ashley’s over the past five years. Complete master bedroom set, bedroom stuff, and living room furniture as of this writing only one piece is really stood up. My first sales associate Carl lied about free delivery twice. First time he said it was an accident and would take care of me next time. Second time we only got half off. His excuse was he didn’t know. Second sales lady was great but I ended up having to pickup a piece myself from the warehouse. It never got delivered for some reason. The over all quality of the furniture isn’t worth the money.

Historically their attention to detail and customer care are noteworthy and I have sent communications to management before speaking to their great service. We’ve never had problems before so this is ONE incident has left my ENTIRE family very confused and VERY frustrated. While my sister was leaving, she received a call that the delivery people were at her house to drop off her newly ordered dresser. When she got there, they tell her it’s scratched and they were made to deliver it anyway. Naturally, she refuses and calls the store to get compensation for the defected product delivered to her and the inconvenience of a poorly handled experience. The representative she spoke with informed her the best they can do is give her 5% of her purchase back on a GIFT CARD. She didn’t pay with a gift card. Furthermore, it is a furniture store, what is a $25 gift card going to compensate for? She then asked to speak to a supervisor and is on hold for approximately five minutes. Instead of responding with the supervisor to address the situation, it is the same representative on the phone who relays a message from the supervisor and is waiting to get the 5% put back on my card and that they’ll call me back. She again asks for a supervisor, yet now, none are available. As a former sales and hospitality manager myself, not handling a customer complaint personally and offering 5% on a gift card is flat out insulting. Inflation and financial consciousness have affected all of us (business and customer alike) therefore, the customer service and purchasing experience SHOULD be strengthened to ensure a returning customer in the future. This experience has shaken that relationship and has yet to been made right. Hopefully, it is just a reflection of this one location. In which case we will not be back.

This has been a nightmare experience. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING THROUGH THIS STORE! We ordered the $4k sectional through a sales team member. It is the first sectional you see when you walk in. The sales member said the pieces connect through a specific hooking system so it doesn’t move around, this was a big part for us in buying a sectional. It was delivered and it didn’t have these parts. We called the sales member and he said “Oh it doesn’t. Shoot I thought it did.” The delivery drive for Ashley said “this happens all the time. The sales members have no idea what they’re doing.” The delivery driver put in his notes that the sales member lied to the customers. I tried calling the store 7-8 times a day and no one picked up. Every person I’ve talked to about refunding has seemed like I’m a major inconvenience even though it was their mistake. Also, their head company has no control over this store so everything is processed through a store that has no customer service and a sales team that lies about products. Not worth the headache, there’s plenty of other places to get furniture in Louisville.

Purchased a couch, chair, and ottoman and they were delivered them damaged and they smell like galvanized metal as if they have been sitting in a metal container for a while or something! I called within the hour that I received the delivery and sent pictures just to be told that they will not replace my couch. I paid for NEW furniture and they want to come and try to patch the frame that they delivered broken! Smh I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE IF YOU EXPECT GOOD SERVICE BECAUSE THIS DEFINITELY IS NOT THE PLACE! I will tell anyone who will listen to NEVER shop with ASHLEY furniture!

They NEVER answer the phone. Me and my husband bought a couch in November that was supposed to have a promotion attached to it. Customer service told me I had to call the store and speak to a sell’s person because they couldn’t help me. I expressed to the customer service agent that the store doesn’t answer the phone when you call and they told me that was the only way I could get it figured out. So I guess my only choice now is to make the 40 min trip up to the store.
Nice furniture. Website stated they have a couch in stock.....it DIDN'T say "In stock at our warehouse and you get it in a week" I drive there to pay for it and take it with me, NOT. Wasted trip!! Could have ordered it online and picked it up when it was TRULY "IN STOCK"!!
So...we ordered a sectional sofa, and a cooling mattress, the delivery of both items were supposed to be delivered same day.. didn't happen and no one told us..I had brought downstairs our old mattress so it'd be easier for the guys to take out. (Being a nice guy) I had to take mattress back upstairs by myself so I'd have a place to sleep for a few weeks. Then when it did show up I had to help the delivery crew get the new mattress upstairs. I haven't had a good night's sleep yet on this mattress, waiting for the 30-days to be up so I can exchange it. It also doesn't measure out what the description says it is, a little short on both sides so we have a bigger gap than we were expecting, and looks silly. I tried communication with our salesman Capt. Kirk, but he hasn't been responding. We do love the sofa, but the little plate that covers the controls keeps popping off...kind of cheap maybe a new one would snap on better. Overall...sofa is so far better than mattress...you'd think if you spend $8k you'd get better service, and a better night's sleep. Oh and their phone system has a bad clicking sound..so you miss some of the person's words so you keep having to ask to repeat. Only 2 stars because we like the sofa... responsiveness is terrible for the money

Delivery ( by a contract service was good ) after I spent hours calling the store I purchased from ( I was told after I drove 40 minutes back there that they don’t answer their phones) to get my address and phone number correct for delivery ,as the salesperson never bothered to update previous info.
My daughter and I went into the store on November 25 as she wanted to give Ashley in Louisville a try as the one in Evansville, IN, had left us with a bad taste. Dash was great! I told him about the OTHER store and he assured me this one is different! She purchased a Sectional. It was supposed to have been delivered on Tuesday yet never came til Thursday, December 1. Not 40 hours later, I was sitting in the recliner, minding my own business, watching tv, when the recliner broke and threw me out backwards headfirst! I immediately called! They filed a report and said someone would call within 24 hours. It’s been over 72 hours so I call back. A nice lady was trying to help me and she transferred me to a hateful manager and he was very rude! I told him I just turned 60 and did not need to be thrown out of anything especially backwards and head first! He was so rude and not helpful at all and did not care the piece of junk has not even been here a week and been unable to be sat in more hours than we COULD sit in it! I told him at this point, just come and get it and give my daughter a refund! He said “That’s not gonna happen!” I said well nothing is happening right now! They were supposed to have already came! He did not care! These people just take your money and sell junky products and do not care! I told him I was going to call the BBB if he wasn’t going to help me and he said “okay have a good day” and HUNG UP (way to go manager) so still NO RESOLUTION!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! Any Ashley Furniture!! They just want your money and then don’t care!
I bought a kitchen table and paid in full. Delivery was scheduled for Dec 6 between the hours of 11:15-2:15. At 3:15 still no show. I called the store and got no answer. I called 3 more times and nobody is answering at all. I finally get a person overseas saying my product was not it stock and new delivery date of Dec 13. I was not made aware of this. When taking off work I lose $$$$. I can’t afford to take off a second time so I canceled the order and requested a refund.
They advertise as HIGH QUALITY FURNITURE, if you cannot fix the carpet that is your MAIN AISLE AREA, then how do you expect me to believe that the FURNITURE ITSELF, is of good quality. HAVE YOU NOT THOUGHT ABOUT AND REALIZED THAT ASHLEY HOME FURNISHINGS.🤷

They tried once to get into home then just left it without feet on the dirty garage floor. Then said we refused. NO they refused to put the couch into the house for no reason. It took myself a friend that are both over 50, 15 minutes to get into the door and put together. You are useless and I want a refund of delivery cause I had to get it off my dirty floor and move myself

This visit to Ashley + Outlet was fantastic and overshadows my previous poor experiences at other locations. The difference is the staff and service. I was greeted then able to browse without being pestered with sales pitches. When I was ready for assistance, Heather was ready and available to help. She is kind and patient with my questioning and concerns. She heard my needs, made smart suggestions, and is very easy to chat with. Plus checkout was a breeze. Absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! Purchased two recliners and a loveseat on 11/6/22. Ok, simple enough. Only one of the two recliners was in stock, which was explained and understood. One recliner and the loveseat was delivered 11/9/22 and set up, inspected and deemed ok. Upon further inspection a rip was found in an arm of the recliner, all the way to the wood. This was reported and replacement parts were issued, no problem. On 11/12/22 we received a text that our second recliner was ready for delivery and to schedule it. Countless calls were made to schedule said delivery, to no avail. Replacement parts for damaged recliner arm cloth arrived on 11/16/22. My wife and I both were on our phones attempting to schedule a tech for the repair and schedule delivery of our second recliner. There seems to be two options when scheduling, either get hung up on or get so frustrated you hang up. The “call center” (non-English speaking, transfer your call to someone else who doesn’t speak English) is a joke. Finally was able to talk to a REAL person at the actual store who wasn’t able to assist much, but not for lack of effort. Called back and spoke to the same lady on 11/17/22 and was informed that apparently the recliner had been canceled and pending a refund. None of that was even suggested…. So they can take your money for items and get some of them delivered, but after that it’s a joke. This is not a reflection of our salesman nor the lady who did her best to help us rectify the problem, as they were both great.
Won't answer phone, have issues getting my stuff. 20 emails and text for me to schedule my delivery but I call sit on hold for 30 minutes and there's always an issue with trying to schedule. None knows why. Can't understand the call center people. One item damaged and they sent replacement fabric, can't schedule a tech, asked if I could replace fabric. I'm like seriously. your ripped it when you delivered it. Will never go there again

I have been trying to get in touch with someone or get my recliner fixed ever since I've had it and well now they're telling me next year guess what I'm not waiting till next year I will go up there and talk with them personally because on the phone nothing is happening I have called customer service I've called the stores I've talked to people and nothing has happened I have asked to speak to managers supervisors and no one has ever called me back so no I think Ashley is horrible with their customer service and their Furniture is broken down and they will not stand behind their warranties what I bought extra but I only had it a month and it broke as soon as I had it so I'm sitting on a broken recliner that I paid $3,500 for

While I found what I wanted furniture wise, everything after I purchased was awful. I bought over $6,000 worth of furniture and was told it would be delivered in 2 shipments, the first in 3 weeks, the second in about 2 months. I was ok with that. I was given an exact delivery date at the store for the first delivery, and was called 2 days before it was supposed to be here to confirm. I missed the call, so I called back and I was on hold for over 46 minutes so I had to hang up. I tried again later and same thing. I assumed if it was important they would call back. When my delivery didn’t come in, I called to see why. They told me it had to be scheduled again but now the earliest I could get it was several weeks later… and that not everything in that order batch was even ready. We had just moved in a new house and needed these items just to live in the space after getting rid of what we had before, thinking our furniture would arrive when we were told. The next delivery date didn’t happen. I spent hours back and forth with customer service to figure out why. The next date I was told also didn’t happen. Every customer service person I spoke with told me something else. I ended up cancelling one of the items because I found it online and got it in 3 days, and the person who told me they cancelled it for me did not, so I had to reach out yet again about that. The first batch was over 5 weeks after the original date with no real explanation or apology. The second order was similar. 5 weeks after the original Al date we were promised. After 2 psych outs telling us our order was ready and then when I called to confirm telling us it was if fact NOT ready, they finally told us our stuff was on the way. I got a text saying they were 37 minutes away. My husband was home and waiting. They never showed or texted or called until later that day saying they were there and no one was home… a total lie or they were at the wrong house and never tried to call when they didn’t get a response. Finally, we decided to go to the warehouse and pick it up ourselves to be done with it. The first person we talked to said to go to the Ashley store, so we did, only to be told that was incorrect so we made another trip out to the warehouse. We FINALLY have our stuff, but I wasted hours upon hours of my life dealing with customer service who was literally no help at all each time, every single person telling me something else. The furniture is nice but I wish I had gone elsewhere. I bought the protection plan and now I dread the day I ever have to use it after seeing what it was like just getting my stuff. If you purchase here, you better have plenty of time to waste.

Horrible customer service. Also, they told truck drivers they could park in their oversized, hardly used parking lot and are now threatening to tow. Not sure if they forget how they receive their inventory (hard working truck drivers) but they were extremely rude when asked and deny ever giving permission. Will not be purchasing anything from them.

There are 2 chairs that are defective and need to be replaced. I let the delivery guys but they take notes and told me someone would get in touch with me right away and no calls have been received yet. The delivery had to be rescheduled.

Very bad at communication. We had a problem with delivery in which our $700 footboard was damaged. We contacted in the 72 hr time period which the solution was to send a new one. So we waited 3 weeks with a mattress on the floor for the "new" one. The "new" one was worse than the 1st. Heres where it gets bad. We called the Jtown location to get it resolved. The 1st guy hung up on us after asking for his name. The 2nd and 3rd time calling, we spoke to Dino? who stated he was an area manager, but "Carolyn" had to tale care of us and she would call before she went home that day. Here we are 4 calls and 4 days later, No call from Carolyn, no resolution. This is not how "management" or those in charge should ever handle customers. Your business is only as good as how satisfied your customers are. As of this point we are NOT SATISFIED AT ALL
If you are looking for something that looks like high end furniture and don't want to spend a lot of money 💰🤑 then go to Ashley furniture and pick out something great!! But the only thing that is bad is the wait to get your stuff so I would get it delivered for sure..
I had a great experience. Dash was knowledgeable and very helpful. He used no high pressure sales talk, he educated me about the different mattresses and adjustable bases. I felt well equipped to make a good decision. Thank you Dash, you are a true professional.
Absolute worst experience with furniture buying. Spent $5k on bedroom furniture and a new mattress. First we were charged $400 for a warranty we were not even asked about. I had to call and request a refund for it because we didn’t want it. Then upon delivery a month later the bed and a nightstand were damaged. I called customer service the next day (well within the 72 hours after delivery) to request a replacement items for those that were damaged. After the lady I spoke with got approval she listed the items that would be replaced and she left off the nightstand. I specifically asked if she had the nightstand listed as well and she said yes everything was on there. We waited another month for the replacement items and guess what was NOT delivered?…the nightstand. I called customer service as the delivery men were leaving and their solution was to send a tech to replace the backing (see photo) and I finally heard back from them, 11 days later, and they refuse to replace it or even fix it because it was supposedly not reported with the 72 hours. I will never buy from them again. I would make my own furniture before I set foot in that place again. They should be ashamed of themselves. Horrible!!!!
We just purchased a couch from Ashley. Love the couch but the customer service has been terrible. My delivery date was schedule for a Wednesday. On that Tuesday, I call because I've not received a delivery window. I'm told my couch is back ordered. I press because the sales guy said it was in stock and that was just the first available date. I'm told they will issue a "help ticket" but there's no one to speak too. I then receive an text confirming delivery for Saturday. Clearly it's not backordered. Why couldnt someone just say hey we messed up, can we deliver Saturday? Then on Saturday, the delivery is past 8 pm. And the couch is broken. It doesn't connect right. And we're told "someone from Ashley will fix or replace" but given no indication of when. I don't want a broken couch in my living room for weeks. I also didn't pay full price for a broken couch so it can be repaired at a discount or replaced quickly. But it would be nice to speak with someone who can actually help. It's so difficult to get thru to anyone.
Went in not knowing what we wanted. Derek immediately greeted us with a bright smile and friendliness that was off the charts. We picked a couch and went through the process. I made a mistake and left my phone on the couch and he went above and beyond to make sure that I got it back. He is by far the best person you all have on your team. GO DEREK.
The delivery men were great. They were professional and courteous. The furniture is beautiful except one piece has a large scratch. I will be contacting the store to see what can be done.

First scheduled delivery they did not deliver. Says no one was home, there was someone home the entire day. Still have not provided pictures they say they have showing they were at my house. 2nd delivery was done but furniture is not put together when we paid fir prime home delivery. Have you ever gotten a couch in pieces, the back and arms are not on it???
The only problem I am having is I haven’t received my sofa and chair! They have given me 3 different delivery dates. Nobody seems to know when it’s going to get delivered.
When calling customer service to report an issue no one every answers or they answetr and hang up. The voicecall for confirming scheduled delivery only says a few words and stops. If you dont respond you schedule gets canceled so its kind of important the voice message completes. Both issues are really unprofessional and needs to be audited and issues corrected. Sales team and delivery guys did a good job. We like our new furniture.

After waiting 1 year for a kitchen table to be delivered, I finally just cancelled my order. I received so many different dates as to when my order should arrive by. All those date have come and gone and the dates keep getting pushed back. Went to a different furniture store today and purchased a similar table that will be delivered tomorrow. Don’t waste your time dealing with this terrible company.

I wanted to cancel my order but then they charge you a fee for that. I will Not be giving them anymore of my business. This is the 1st and last time.

Very unhappy and definitely don't recommend the m especially if they have absolutely no refunds.

Back order lies! We were sold a house full of furniture in February and we still have only received half of our order. The new expected date changes every two weeks. When we bought everything we were told April-May for delivery. Now the latest is November. No one at this store answers the phone when you call to ask about existing orders and we have no idea when our stuff will actually be available. If you must buy from Ashley, I highly recommend only buying what you can walk out with that same day. Or you will be disappointed. Update: I did exactly what they asked in their response by contacting them again with all of my information. Same song and dance with no help other than giving me another “estimated” availability date. The problem is because we have multiple pieces of furniture, they won’t deliver it until it ALL of it is IN. But when they do get a few of our pieces IN, they give it the next person in line because we are still waiting on other pieces. It’s a never ending cycle.
I ordered furniture from there that was delivered back in July. They didn’t put the hardware with my daughters bed so now the pieces have just been sitting for over a month. I have had to make all the phone calls to find out what is going on with no one calling to tell me. It has been over a month with no help and still no hardware to put the bed together. I also got a vanity table that was not properly made so they couldn’t put all the screws in it. All Ashley has offered is a 29 dollar gift card to shop with them. This was over a $1000 for both the bed and vanity. The complaint department was very rude and would not help me. I will not shop here again. For everyone’s sake I would make sure to shop somewhere else as this apparently is a common thing.

Very poor phone communication! Can’t hear them because line cracks and pops! That is after you finally get to speak to some, after 25 minutes! Had this problem on all 10 plus calls to them to check status of order! After seven months product finally arrived, damaged!! Had to reorder, now another 10 plus days! Kinda hard to say anything positive about my experience!

DON'T DO IT!!! I wouldn't even give it one star, but you have to put at least one to submit. Do yourself a favor and do not go to Ashley to purchase anything. I made a purchase using a certified check from the bank. I had to cancel the order and have been waiting for over a month for my refund. Now they are telling me it takes 30 business days. They have one telephone number and it transfers you to the Philippines where after you have waited no less than 20-30 minutes for them to answer the call, they can't help you with any issues. The only thing they say is "I'm sorry." I ask for a number to speak to someone at the store where I made the purchase, and they transfer you right back to the same telephone number. It's infuriating!

Hope Wethington was terrific! We weren't even looking for furniture, we came with sister to look for living room furniture. Needless to say, we ended up buying and she did too.
We bought our pieces of furniture there months ago. Our salesman was wonderful, and he explained that it would be some time before it was delivered to our home. We were informed of our delivery date a few weeks prior to them coming, we made sure to take time off of work to be home during the set time. While we did receive many calls telling us our delivery time was being pushed back each time it was becoming quite frustrating. Once the delivery came to our home and they had all pieces in the house, they then apologized, because Ashley furniture forgot to put the assembly hardware with our package. I say Ashley furniture because they use a third-party delivery service My furniture is currently sitting in pieces still because I cannot put it together for the lack of hardware and no one has reached out to us.

Knew exactly what I was looking for but had to walk around the entire store because similar things are not necessarily grouped together. It would make it easier to compare if they were next to each other. I was asked if I was looking at mattresses and I said no. So it was incredibly annoying when I was still approached by someone pushing temperpedic after my disinterest in mattresses was known. Edit: I ended up canceling my order and based on other reviews I am very happy with my decision.

UPDATE: The fake attempt at customer service with boilerplate response was an empty attempt. I followed up and never heard back. Beware when shopping here if you do. They will rip you off. Make sure to see an itemized list as you go through the process to purchase. I worked with a sales person and she bloated the cost charging me for items that I explicitly said I did not want. During the process she never showed me itemized cost, stupidly I thought she was being honest. She attempted to confuse me with numbers but I could sense something was off and confirmed with her several times my exact expectations. I was in arush and needed to wrap up the process so I completed it and left. Again, something dis not feel right I searched for the receipt and went online ans saw where she gouged me on protection plan cost, bloated delivery costs, and overcharged for a coffee table. I called the store the same day when I noticed the discrepancies. I was told it would be fixed and I would get a new receipt. I have not received any confirmation of the changes. I followed up again today and oddly enough my calls are now NOT being answered.

Went to Jtown store today at lunch looking for a sofa and loveseat. Found one in the outlet I liked. After several minutes someone finally asked if I needed help? Told her I liked this set but wondered if they could lower the price as it was in the clearance section. I was told no one there at the time could do that. I said I'd cone back after work to see if a manager was in. Went back, saw the lady that helped earlier, she was with a young couple but waved to acknowledge me. Went back to the outlet area and waited. About 10 minutes pass an I see her heading my way....but she had an older couple with her? She showed them a clearance mattress, they walked past me leaving, she says "I'll be right back" so I continue to wait. After another 25 minutes I decide to leave, once again I see the sales lady helping yet another family. As I get to the front door I pass two salesmen, I hear one say "he was here earlier" I stop turned and explained to him and the other guy my experience. That beside the one lady who obviously didn't want to deal with me that not one other sales person had asked if I needed help . There were many there, talking to each other, on their phone but no one else acted as if I was important enough to help. Sadly for them they lost a $2,000 sale and a customer.

Purchased a chair from Ashley (> $2k) and within 6 days the chair broke. Called Ashley to replace the chair and they were ‘sending’ someone out. Never heard from anyone. After many call they have ordered a part ( even though they have no idea what is wrong with the chair) and is waiting for it to be delivered. Called again - part is back ordered, and won’t be in until September 1st. Bought this chair (expensive), broke in less than 6 days and now waiting over 2 months to get it ‘repaired’. Spoke with a supervisor at corporate - very rude and unwilling to help. Will never purchase anything from here again, customer service is horrible and they are unwilling to replace a defective product - absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous! Very unhappy customer.
I had an awesome experience. I was told the day and a window of time that they would arrive. On that day I received update texts as the time grew closer. Then within 7 minutes of arrival time they were there. Super friendly and helpful. Told me what they were doing and even put the pads on the bottom of chair and table legs. Cleaned up the little mess and positioned the table several ways to help me decide the SPOT 👏. Super super professional and personal guys. Ron was one of them and the other I’m not sure. They were totally AWESOME. Thanks guys

I'm absolutely disgusted with the service I have had with Ashley's. The dates keep getting pushed back 12 weeks everytime the deadline hits. I spent $17,000 in 2 months, 8 months ago and I still haven't received all my stuff. Do not buy here if you ever actually wanna get it!
Ok if i can give less than one star i will.i moved from another state to here ob Louisville with my mods dont have no furniture.then went to ASHLEY bought a table 2 mistresses .they promised they willbe delivered to my house in maximum 2 day im 5 miles away from the store.its 14 days now sleeping in the floor everyday a call and a lie finaly they came with a delivery today but no mattress just my son mattress and table me still sleeping on the floor .big mistake going to ASHLEY .plz guys avoids this store
To be so on high in furniture you would think you would get greet it as soon as you walked in the door but instead you walk into employees sitting on the couch with blankets on their cell phone!
Do not buy furniture from Ashley. We paid over $2000 for a large electric recliner that broke within the 1st week of use. We also purchased a 5 year warranty. My husband has called and called and they will not send anyone out to look at it. They keep saying they are waiting on a part! I don’t know how they can be waiting on a part when they haven’t even been to our home to see what part they need. Do NOT do business with these crooks.
Ordered a bedroom suite November 2021. Spent several thousand dollars on what we hoped would be quality furniture. Waited several months and got pieces delivered individually. One piece was delivered damaged and delivery crew left it covered for us to discover. Damage was documented and reported same day. Customer service phone number is almost impossible to understand (always covered with static.) Been back to store at least three times and still have no idea if or when part will be delivered. Eight months and counting! Possibly the worst buying experience I have ever had.

I was looking at mattresses and furniture for a new apartment I was renting in another city over the Memorial Day weekend. Alvaro/AJ from Ashley Home, helped me and my mom look at many bedroom sets, tv stands and mattresses for the better part of the morning. Alvaro was kind, informative, personable, and really was not pressuring, which I appreciated because we made it clear we were going to be buying furniture from at least somewhere. After a few days of looking at multiple stores to make sure I was happy with the furniture I would be buying, I decided to purchase a nice temperpedic mattress and sofa table from Ashley home. I called Alvaro and let him know we were planning to come make some purchases on short notice and he came on his off day to help us get squared away. He was able to get me a few hundred dollars off on my sofa table and helped me to finance most of the furniture, as I am a new medical resident and financing was important. Overall, I had a great experience at Ashley Homestore and plan to go back when I’m ready to upgrade some other household items in the future. Alvaro and the other employees who helped us made a relatively stressful process a lot less stressful.

Antonio helped us order a sectional and tv stand about a month ago and told us it would be ready to be delivered June 7th. I hadn’t heard anything so I called to find out our furniture would not be ready for another 3-5 weeks. Spoke to customer service and they did nothing despite our furniture being delayed an extra month without even informing us. Salesperson was nice enough, but extremely incorrect delivery estimates and poor customer service are the reasons for 2 stars.

I’m extremely disappointed in all the hurdles I had to jump to get a refund, a refund that I still haven’t received!!! We got a bed for my son, paid 500 for a poor quality bed that we didn’t know until we got home to set up. The fake wood tape was coming off and the holes where not drilled in deep enough for the screws. I called the number on the site which apparently wasn’t the number to the store, it was a branch number.the gentleman on the phone was very rude and told me I will not be refunded even though this wasn’t my fault. I found the 1800 number where I had a kind lady explain that the place I was dealing with was a franchise not Ashley directly, She gave me a direct phone number. I called and long story short i was approved for refunded. We’ll it’s been more then ten business days, and I have been on hold for the third time after being hung up on as soon as someone goes to answer my call. I already ordered couches here before the bed that I wish we could return due to the poor experience I have received. I will never NEVER purchase from this location again. Or anything Ashley after seen the quality. I’m writing this review because nowadays it seems to be the only way to get some help. The sense of urgency and poor customer service is beyond redeemable. Do better 🚨🚨Update: finally got a hold of someone, thanks to this review. Long story short our refund was sitting on someone’s desk still waiting to be processed. Was told it would take 1-3 business days to issue and 15 to go to account🤔🤔. I ended up disputing it with my bank and got my money back instantly. As someone who works in customer Service and deals with escalations for a big company, the lack of sense of urgency to get this resolved was very disappointing. What a joke would never recommend, go somewhere else!

Furniture took forever, delivery was a joke because it was rescheduled a few times; the sales person did not care about you after the sale was made. The furniture is cheaply made and overpriced. Managers do not care.
I went in just too “look” but the sales person Hope did such a great job showing me things I just had to buy. It helps too that what I wanted was in stock and ready to go.
Shop anywhere else! Terrible customer service and orders never arrive. Ordered a floor model chair Jan 3 and was told to expect it in March. Never heard a word and tried calling the store, no response. Called customer service, again, where an automated voice told me it would arrive May 11th. Got a confirmation email from Ashley several days before. Took the day off from work, it did not arrive. Called customer service who said emails were frequently wrong! Said their records showed it would arrive May 17th. Took another day off, no delivery. Again called the store, no response. Cancelled the order. Five and a half months later, innumerable hours in hold and I have no furniture and no refund.

The store personnel were very pleasant and helpful when you needed them and allowed you to browse at your leisure. Do your homework though. Their online prices on the items we purchased were cheaper than the in store prices, but they were happy to price match the Ashley online price.
Alvaro (AJ) & Derek were super accommodating in helping us make selections for our new home. Ordered a recliner from Ashleys on December 12 was told it would be here in 6 to 8 weeks did not get it till March 29 after being delivered the chairs mechanism gets stuck call to have someone come look at it they ordered the part for it and told me it would be 7 to 10 days for the part to come in the mail to call when I get it to set up a appointment for someone to come fix the chair it has been over 3 weeks now so I call today to find out why I still don't have the part and was told it will be late May before I will get it never ever will I get anything from Ashleys again So Ashleys gets back to me over this no help at all they need to stop telling people it's going to be so and so time to get something when it going to be a lot longer to get it. Ŵow it's been two years now I'll say it again I'll never buy anything from Ashley's again .

Purchased a very nice tv stand cabinet. Had it delivered today. Whoever put it together should be fired. Of the 4 doors only one works. 2 are not square as one knob is higher than the other. One door was forced closed and when opened to put shelves in, it was not square and doesn’t close. Contacted customer service and they are going to replace it. I’ll change my review when the other one gets here. No idea when that will be. I give a 5 star to Antonio the salesman, he’s great.
Placed an order for a coffee table toward the end of December, was told it would be delivered by the end of February, then the beginning of March. I still have not received it, and was told it will be middle of March now before it is delivered. At this point I just want to cancel the order and tell everyone to stay away from Ashley Furniture.

The sales process with Martin was great, but the delivery experience/customer service has been horrible! Caroline from the store was very helpful when our first cocktail table was delivered damaged, but when the replacement was delivered, it was clearly "refurbished" as it had dog hair in the corners inside, was covered in dust, and a black sharpie had been used on the edges to hide scuffs and scratches! The guys who delivered the table the 2nd time were nice about it and took that table back and called in the issue, but no one ever followed up with us, and 7 days later we are still sitting here with the original broken table. The experience in the store is great, but the Customer service ends there, apparently.

He knew when to leave my wife and I alone and just let us shop but was also extremely helpful in providing information when we needed it. The delivery drivers who came today with my furniture were very pleasant individuals. They were extremely careful with my home and courteous in the conversations with us. The furniture just seems poorly made. They have a back area they call the outlet. What a bad idea. All the stuff is scratch and dent and really shows how poor quality it is. They had 2 dressers both broke in the same place. Main center post. I understand people may want budget friendly furniture, but don't sell your damaged stuff from the same store; you are supposedly selling high-quality new. I have bought Over 8k in furniture over the past year and 3 different times, and we went to ashley to look and even time ended up at furniture fair. Heck I was able to buy a Ashley branded television console with heater cheaper from furniture fair the. Ashley. Oh one other the website is also a joke. My phone is registered in Tennessee but I live in Kentucky. I looked at the prices online, and then I went to order, and the price went up 140 dollars after I changed my zip code. I asked customer service, and they said they couldn't do anything about it. It's cheaper in Tennessee than Kentucky, what a joke. So I bought the table from you guessed it Furniture Fair.
When you go to Ashley Furniture, ask for Antonio; he is absolutely amazing and gave us the best customer service possible! Thank you to Rebecca for your help as well!
Terrance at Blankenbaker store was helpful, answered my questions, very informative. I told him that I had to measure the space to see if the couch fit. He was surprised when my family and I came back. Delivery was another issue, hence 4 stars. First time, the couch wasn't delivered. I discovered later that the delivery folks had rejected it because it needed repairs. I can appreciate that, so we rescheduled delivery. The second attempt failed due to snow on the roads. The third attempt was a success. I like my chaise sofa. But delivery is a bear.

If I could give Ashley's a negative #, I would. I ordered my furniture on July 2, 2021. I ordered a living room suit (3pc) and different loveseat. I just got 2 loveseats delivered last week after being told I would have all my furniture in at the same time. This is my issue, a co-worker bought the same exact living room suit in November and got the entire 3 pcs I've been waiting on delivered to her today (Jan 20, 2022). I also found out by one of Ashley's worker that anyone who ordered on Black Friday got there furniture before Christmas. They're telling now that I want get my other 2 pcs of furniture until March. **** Buyer beware *** Consumer save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else. I called their customer service and someone by the name of " Angel " hung up on me. After I spent over $7000.

Bought a table and mirrors there. Planned to buy a full bedroom suite. Came back next day to pick up the table at 6:15. Was then informed pick up is only between 12-6. The sales person Carl never told us this. The manager Rebecca then got involved and was very rude. I was willing to carry the table myself and load it. They wouldn’t let us.

They have very poor customer service, they never call back or have an answer to why they can't deliver the ordered merchandise when promised, all they do is keep changing the delivery arrival. Why do I have to pay a cancellation fee if they can't do what they said per my paid contract. They don't or can't live up to their promise of furniture arrival. Very sad! I was told by several people do not pay in advance but I didn't listen so I paid in full with cash. So now I either pay the fee or I just sit and wait.
We purchased a couch, chair and a half with ottoman, sofa table, 3 bar stools, 4 dining rooms chairs and a dining room table totaling about $4,000 including $300+ “required” delivery and $300 warranty they talked us into for repairs over 5 years. We were told all items would be delivered by end of October at the latest. We paid in full for our furniture and have only received the 7 chairs. Every month they push the estimated delivery date out another month. We finally cancelled the sofa table and purchased elsewhere and received it within 3 days however we’re now waiting on our $380 refund to process which I’m being told is in store credit. The store is impossible to speak to since the number is the corporate support and most times I’ve contacted them for an update there’s a bad connection and I can’t understand the agents very well. I have texted with our sales associate from the store who seems to try and help but has no answers and has been rude at times (ie told us we should’ve financed and then “it wouldn’t have mattered” [that we’ve paid $4000 for items we have no idea if or when we will reduce them]). I’m getting really nervous that we will never get our furniture or see refunds. Unfortunately I will never shop at Ashley again or recommend them to anyone. They have great prices and decent quality furniture with a good selection however please beware what you are getting into before you give them your money.
The customer service is the worst. It’s not just the product, your service should be good enough to make a purchase. So many promotions but hidden conditions, scamming on vouchers. Never would recommend any to step into this store

Do NOT go into that J-town store...It is ran like a USED-CAR-DEALERSHIP...They did not tell me that...ALL SALES ARE FINAL after delivery...They delivered my dresser damaged... Impossible to get a person on the phone...I have made 5 trips back there with NO satisfation...Will be contacting BBB soon & might even dispute my charge on my credit card because technically...They did not deliver exactly what I ordered...Final note...They rigged the mirror to the dresser inappropriately...safety-issue...I will pray & ask JESUS to help!

STILL waiting for a pillow that was ordered on 09/03/2021! Customer service is terrible. You call, get a call center who tells you they’re sending a ticket to the store, then no one ever calls you back. You drive ALL the way across town to discover there isn’t anyone to help you and they tell you they don’t have a single pillow in the store. We’ve spent thousands at this location and you would think getting a PILLOW would be much easier than it has been. Needless to say, a PILLOW will keep me from shopping Ashley ever again! And when someone from Ashley sees this, the order was placed under my significant other’s name, you won’t find an order for a PILLOW in my name. Don’t push sales if you can’t produce the product in a timely manner. This isn’t a couch or big item so I can’t believe production or shipping is the issue.

I ordered a bed a while ago for my daughter. When it was finally delivered the men who showed up to put the bed together screwed the screws in wrong. Meaning the handles were inside the drawer instead of outside the drawers. I made several attempts to actually speak with someone about getting them back out to fix the issue because when they put the bed together they stripped the screws. Now here it is months later and it's still not fixed. The communication with this location is terrible!! I will no longer order anything else from Ashley furniture store.

My whole, first-time experience with Ashley Furniture took about 30 minutes, total. I went online and found the perfect sectional for my home at a great price and made a visit to the store right after. I was greeted at the door by Martin R. who took me directly to the sectional I was interested in. After seeing the setup and color in person, I asked him to write up an order. I can't remember the last time a shopping experience was so easy and successful! Ashley was able to schedule my delivery in record time and at a discount. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture!
I was looking for a mattress and a sleeper sofa and the "sleep specialist" just about ran me out of the store! She was pushy, kept trying to put me in the most expensive bed and would not listen to any of my concerns. She just kept telling me how good she was at her job and how much she knows about mattresses. That's fine but LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR CUSTOMER IS SAYING!! I went to Sleep Outfitters where my sales rep listened to me 100% and put me in the perfect bed. Because of Ashley's pushy hard headed sales rep, they lost a sale of a mattress, adjustable base and sleeper sofa. I was so angry after dealing with this woman, I didn't even look at the sofas at this place!
Bought a new couch and rocker recliner. The recliner is broke, the couch cover underneath couch, is ripped, they are aware, ordered everything we need to have it fixed. We were told we would have to get SAWS Enterprise involved, they are the ones that are suppose to fix. These damages were when the furniture was delivered. We can’t get SAWS to even call us back. So now we have damaged furniture and can’t get anything done. Ashley’s store in J-Town is where we bought it, they were great when we were purchasing the furniture, now you can’t get them to do anything about it. Other than the number for SAWS? I will never ever buy anything else from them. Evidently, their furniture is cheaply made.
We went into Ashley with a goal in mind to find a new couch for our home. The manager there greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, and allowed us to freely walk around without feeling bombarded. And, we found our dream couch!
My experience was very good. My salesperson was attentive without being pushy ,directed me to where the specific furniture I was looking for was and was available to answer my questions. She was able to give me a discount and a payment plan that made all the difference.
NOT a great experience. I understand things are on backorder because of COVID, however I was told 8 weeks. That 8 weeks quickly was turned into months. When I asked for a refund, all of a sudden I could get all of my items super quickly... then came delivery. Delivery is apparently only available one day a week, couldn't get a hold of customer service at the ACTUAL STORE to save my life. After going round and round in an attempt to pick up, delivery still being scheduled, and speaking with a ton of rude customer service representatives, I finally decided to just cancel my order all together. Ashley makes good quality furniture, but they lost my business because of their customer service.
I don't like giving negative reviews, but unfortunately after trying to mediate with the store, I want to share my experience. While the furniture is good quality and was delivered fine, our sales person sold us bed rails that don't work with our headboard we purchased from. And he was who brought up the idea of the bed rails. So now to use them, we will have to drill new holes into the headboard which will void our warranty. Exercise caution when purchasing from this store.
Good prices, good service. And yes, sales reps will approach you and offer to help you through the selection and purchase, but they don't helicopter you like they do at other stores. I found it to be a rather positive experience.
I was happy to see that the staff seemed to be there. There was a very nice selection of items to look over. My son's salesman Martin was very nice and knowledgeable.

Do not shop here ... nothing is in stock. They will allow you to make initial purchase and then lie for months about when the product will arrive. They will refuse to refund you when you are tired of waiting.
Never purchasing from Ashley again. Bought a sofa and coffee table from them. One of the cushions was terribly sewn together so I called and they sent out a replacement but the replacement doesn’t quite fit right. The coffee table is metal with a glass top but the glass doesn’t fit right and there are gaps between the glass and metal. It’s ridiculous. I was completely finished with them but had a $500 credit so I ordered a bed. I understand delays because of COVID but no one ever lets you know that it keeps getting delayed. At first it was six weeks and now it’s 21-23 weeks. When I called they said 6 weeks was an estimated time frame but I mean at least get your estimates in the ball park. Ashley is joke of a furniture store.
My wife and I worked with Carl today. He did a great job of reviewing our options , making sure we knew about any additional coverage and delivery services that were available to us. He made sure we knew when our items would be in and gave us a number to contact him for follow up.
We were looking for an electric recliner. Had to find out salesperson every time we wanted to try one out. Makes for horrible customer experience.
Rebecca did outstanding job with myself and my husband she help us to decide everything we got so patient with us gave us plenty of time to look over what we wanted and help us design what would look good excellent job

They literally NEVER answer their phone!! I’ve called them multiple times! I live 30 minutes away and have to drive all the way over there for them to tell me it’s something they can’t do but yet it could’ve been said over the phone in 3 minutes or less!

I have horrible experience with Ashley Furniture, I ordered furniture almost four month before when I order they told me they will deliver within 4-6 weeks and still did not delivered when I call customer service they keep postponing date of the delivery and I ask them to cancel my order and refund money disconnect my phone servile time
Employees there are very nice and helpful and thats it ..everytime i call the store there is no answer or no return calls...Ashley customer service is the worst..I order 3 pieces and after waiting 3 months they informed me 1 of the 3 pieces was going to take another 2 months ... I canceled that one piece and they purposely canceled my whole order and told me there's no way to find out who did it and I would have to reorder everything all over again... i will never purchase anything again from Ashley furniture
The customer service at this store was extraordinary. We were greeted my Moise, while he was always there when we had a question he was not hovering over us. He was very transparent in letting us know that there was a backlog of deliveries. He was not misleading in any information he provided us. The store had an easy to follow layout of furniture, and it was clean. I strongly recommend this location and Moise.

Edited 8/2/21- Per the response to my review, I reached out to the email address given. This was 3 weeks ago and I still have yet to hear back. Also- the warranty people have told me that NONE of the damage that is on the couch is covered by their warranty. At this point I have called all the numbers, talked to at least 7 people and still do not have a resolution on my broken sofa. If I could give this company NO STARS I would!!!! While the sales experience was good, the quality of furniture is sub par at best. We purchased a sofa in October of 2019 and it started falling apart a year later. We purchased the extra warranty just for this very reason! When I sent the warranty pictures to the company they stated that none of the rips, tears, or BROKEN FRAME was covered by their warranty… I was told the frame was lifetime covered and to call the Ashley team. 4 weeks later still no call back from the technician team to resolve this issue and nothing better then an “I’m sorry we can’t help you…” FOR SHAME…
We placed a order April 11,2021 was told delivery would be May 21st NO we did not get it called then they said June 18th NO we did not get it called today they said August. I canceled the order today. I will not shop at Ashley’s again.
Stay away. Bought a power recliner sofa. It broke after a month. That was October 2020. We are still waiting for it to be repaired in July 2021. Their customer service is non existent. I will never set foot in an Ashley store.
We decided to buy a new couch and chair. After a lot of searching, we thought we would give Ashley a try. Glad we did. We had the privilege of meeting salesman Derick Cantrell. He was professional, very knowledgeable and seemed to be very down to earth. Went over features I had not thought of when looking for quality furniture. Derick helped in making our decision and believe it or not he didn't sell us the most expensive set. If you're looking for someone to help in picking out your next furniture need, you should definitely consider talking to Derick Cantrell. It will definitely be worth the trip. We recently visited the Ashley HomeStore in Louisville off Blankenbaker and I have to say the experience was fabulous! We were greeted promptly at the door by Dino, who answered all of our questions and showed us many different options to fit our needs and wants. He was amazing! There was no rush to get to the next customer, we were his priority while we were there. I highly recommend this store and Dino to find all of your furniture needs!!!

I have been calling for weeks and they NEVER answer their phones! I need to get the extra protection on my couch and it was already delivered so I really hope they don't give me trouble of adding it after it was delivered, like I said I have tried calling tons of times and no answer. I live almost 40 mins away so its not easy for me to get to the store. Other than that issue, I had a great experience in the store and got a great deal on my couches.
Rory Williams was our sales representative. He was referred to us by a close friend. He was EXTREMELY patient with us. We came as soon as the store opened. We were there for almost 4 hours making up our minds between several pieces for 2 different rooms in our home. He answered every single question I had, ran numbers for multiple scenarios, and maintained the same calm and professional demeanor the entire time.
Friendly staff, good quality furniture and service. Jimmy was really helpful and always answered our questions (a lot of questions) the manager was awesome.
The sales person was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. She answered all questions and did not apply any pressure to purchase the merchandise. Excellent service.

We thought we had a good experience with our salesman Jimmy as we made it very clear that we did not want to order anything that wasn't in stock and that we would have to wait on. He assured us the pieces we ordered would be available in 4 to 6 weeks; this was in February. Now they are telling us it won't be delivered until September! I have left several messages with the store in the past 2 weeks with no return call. I have done business with Ashley Furniture for almost 20 years and unfortunately this is where it stops.

The worst store experience ever. Went in to purchase a dresser found one I liked in the outlet told the sales lady I’ll take it . Then was told I couldn’t take it had to pick it up tomorrow because the guys that load the truck were gone for the day. No problem I have my own guys who can load it into my truck . No their the only ones that can open the door , merchandise can’t go out the front, our guys are the only ones who can load even though their not responsible for tie downs or securement all these excuses I was so confused then the manager says it’s corporate rules to keep a handle on inventory can’t just have items walking out . Like isn’t that what receipts are for and your bill of sales still trying to work through this mess I ask can you deliver cause the pick up hours are during my work hours yes but we use a third party company you have to contact them to get a price and time . Ok call the guy no set price he needs address then he’ll get back to you with a quote I’m still waiting for a quote . Then asked manager Carol for corporate number she gave us the wrong number and was very rude . Finally I left the store without a dresser and the store without a sale makes no sense to me sad this is how the number 1 store does business no thanks I will gladly take my business and money elsewhere.
Jimmy was a great sales person. He was very organized and helpful. I came in knowing what I wanted and he made sure I left with just that. I will definitely be returning for a few more purchases in the future. I will be giving Jimmy a call when I am ready !!
We are in the process of remodeling our home and decided to visit Ashley Furniture to purchase furniture for our living room and our bedroom. I found and entertainment center that I absolutely loved and was thrilled ti discover it was also on clearance. We did not want to purchase the entire unit because we do not have room for it. Full price the unit is sold separately however the manager was not interested in allowing us to purchase just the part of the entertainment we wanted even though we w were planning in making a significant purchase. What happened to customer service. During these difficult you would think businesses would try to generate as much sales as possible but in this case customer service was not important. We left without purchasing anything and we will be taking our busilness elsewhere.

Needed a new couch (and that's all) Went in to just see what they had after checking out some stuff online. I was greeted but not hounded. Shirley checked on me and let me wander. They had so much to check out and compare. I decided on a sofa and Shirley don't push me to buy the set which I appreciated. I was qualified for 1 year Interest free financing. When I found out the decorative throw pillows weren't included, Shirley was able to get me a discount on purchasing them since they were the last 3! Then to save me money on delivery I got the option of door drop off delivery and I can have friends be here to carry in inside instead. Would definitely go back and have Shirley help again!The only con is delivery won't be for 6 weeks but I don't need to ditch my old set right now anyway. You can pick it up yourself quicker and for free if needed
We bought a Neira Fog couch that was delivered 3 weeks ago. It is supposedly one of the top selling couches from Ashley. The couch arrived missing one back cushion. The delivery team told me that this was something that could be replaced after reaching out to my salesperson. He was not able to help and directed me to the customer support team, who have sent two incorrct items as replacement parts. I have no faith that I'll ever get a missing back cushion for my couch. Customer service has been EXTREMELY lackluster, and the delivery process was painful and confusing. Disappointing service for how much a couch costs here. Would love to get a reply and have a manager step up and fix the problem.
We showed up an hour before closing looking to find a couch as quickly as possible before the store closed. Rory was quick to greet us, offered all the info we asked for and more, he gave us space to browse, and was extremely patient and honest about each item we considered. We changed our mind several times, he offered lots of helpful advice and even offered to share his dinner By the time we finished the deal it was an hour past closing and he never one tried to rush us into making a quick decision or to come back another day so he could get out the door. Awesome customer service experience!!

First time visiting and we ended up buying a couch in the outlet section. The store is beautiful and very clean. I would definitely go back for any furniture needs. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Billy made the whole process quick and simple. He was very patient with all of my indecisiveness and helped me to make sure I picked the best sectional for me. I’ll definitely be going back to see him for all of my furniture needs!
Update: We decided to go back for some table and chairs. At first the experience was great. We found a nice table and chairs along with a dining room server. Later we decided against the server as it wasn’t necessary. Instead of canceling only the server they canceled our entire order. We called back and after waiting a long time to speak with someone he apologized and said that the request put in was only to cancel the server and not everything. He said that someone at the local store canceled everything instead of just the server. He told us that someone would call us back in two days to fix the situation. It has been almost a week now and no call back. We will never go back to Ashley’s. Outlet section is horrible. We did find something that we liked in the new section however. We may or may not go back. Depends on how well our new furniture arrives.
I will post the details of my review once they figure out resolution but as of right now I am not a happy customer. Businesses like these want your money and not your prosperity.
Dino was an awesome sales person with tons on knowledge! We bought a living room set from him tonight. He asked about the extended warranty, and we ask about our old warranty on our bedroom suit. He looked it up and gave us dates and times to cash it in. Then we got talking about mattress, and he took us over to the mattress section and did a demonstration, wow we will be back to see him when we are ready to buy a new mattress. What a nice sales person, not pushy at all.
The customer service representative that took my initial call was great and the sales agent that returned my call was great as well. They both took their time to make sure I was satisfied.
We had a really great experience with Ashley Furniture! We worked with Terrance J to purchase a sofa and chair. He was really great to work with. Very friendly and not pushy. This has nothing to do with our salesperson, but Ashley has got to figure out how to get a better internet speed for their employees to do their jobs. Our salesperson had a heck of a time ringing up our order and I was getting frustrated for him. I'm super patient and understanding so it didn't bother me, but it might deter other customers who aren't patient.
Worst furniture buying experience ever. Order a chair in September 2020, expected delivery November 2020. I called December 2020 because I did not receive my furniture and this became a repetitive cycle for 4 months. They never contacted me and always said it was coming the next month, when I called. After six months of waiting I canceled my order, if I could give zero stars I would. Terrible communication and service.

We purchased a bed 8 months ago from there and it has broke twice. Both times within the first week. We then went in for a re-select because that bed had flaws and saw that it was broke in the store also. After waiting for 8 months our new bed arrived, they dropped it off and left without putting it together, we paid for it to be put together. I opened the footboard and it was broke in the middle. So now we have to wait longer. Update 5/8/2021 Footboard was finally delivered. I still have not heard anything back from Ashley from the response from -db. I put in the email request she asked for 5 minutes after she posted that. They still did not put the bed together like I paid for in the original order. I asked if they would at least take the box back and they refused. I don't mind putting the bed together myself but I should at least be able to get my money back for it.

Their outlet store in back of the place is where you will get some good deals. They're always willing to cut a couple hundo off an item to make a deal.

Trying to resolve an issue and store or sales person Catherine Johnson will not return call. Missing an item from order. Customer service forwards you to store. The store does not pick up the phone. Follow up on customers that have made multiple purchases over past 10 years will now go someplace else.
Rory was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with our indecision. And we left not regretting our purchases, knowing we have a quality product, and looking forward to our new king bed/mattress!
