My wife and I went to Ashley Homestore in Jeffersontown, KY. to purchase a love seat for our daughter’s classroom, she is a teacher. We were looking for a nice loveseat at a reasonable price. Tom Lanham, the Sales Professional, was very helpful. He was not pushy and did everything to help us find the right one at the right price and we were able to pick it up that day at their warehouse. Thank you Tom. We appreciate you.

Friendly, no pressure sale

Josh was great, we have chosen Ashley many times for our needs! Josh was very knowledgeable and knew what we wanted based on what we said we had previously.

Received dining room set yesterday. Unpacked both leaves to extend table and noticed both are damaged. I was given a text number to file a claim. So far the process has been cumbersome. I have not received any response.

Excellent shopping experience. Everyone was helpful and informative and showed us exactly what we were looking for. Joshua Mcgee helped us out with purchasing our couch and answered every single one of our questions. He was super nice and had us out of there pretty quickly once we decided on what we wanted.

Meh. The salesman in the doctor’s coat (Tommy, maybe?) was smarmy and condescending. This is not the way to win customers. It’s too bad as our very positive experience 18 years ago is what brought us back. Today’s experience just drove us away. We will be buying a sofa, end tables, coffee table and chair….just not here. BTW “Doctor”, OSB construction for sofas is not equal to kiln dried hardwood. Lumber 101

I felt that the salesman was honest

Sherry helped me choose and purchase THE perfect mattress. I have always had a hard time choosing one, but I explained to her my needs and the problems I have with the mattress I have now, and she immediately knew where to turn. She let me have all the time in the world to lay on three different mattresses and choose the one I like best. Because of her help and guidance, Ashley will be delivering to me my new mattress, and I am so excited. I am so ready for a good nights sleep with my new Estate queen mattress . I would recommend Sherry and Ashley Furniture a hundred times over! It was a delightful buying experience.

Jeremy and Shane were amazing today! We went to Ashley’s on Blankenbaker, and they were able to get us the furniture we absolutely wanted in a very timely manner as well.

Zero stars. Worst experience ever!! Bought over $5k worth of furniture, paid for delivery to have a stained sectional couch and ottoman delivered. A ticket submitted by the driver was supposedly placed over a week ago to have it cleaned. We have heard from no one from Ashley’s regarding the matter. No one has reached out to clean the BRAND new highly priced couch! I repeat I have been waiting to hear from Ashley’s regarding getting NEW $5k plus furnisher CLEANED! Zero apologies, zero money back, and zero contact from Ashley’s. Purchasing from Ashley’s is a nightmare, will never do it again 😡😡😡😡

******* buyer beware ************* Bought furniture 6k worth 2 weeks ago. Was delivered with stains. Asked for the manager at the blankenbaker location, however I was just tossed around to automated systems. They say they have a cleaning crew that will fix the issue but that we found out the hard way is a lie. Now we have to dispute charges with the bank. *************** buyer beware*************

Ehh it's Ashley. Everything is overpriced, they oversell their garbage warranty and then try not to honor it. Go in, find what you like and order on amazon

The couch is beautiful & the delivery was made in the time frame given for the day. The only problem was my original delivery date getting pushed back one week.

Very disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture. We purchased a sidebar that was in perfect condition in the store, but when it was delivered, one of the doors was ripped off and hanging. It was clearly damaged during delivery, yet Ashley Furniture refused to fix or compensate us for the damage. We contacted the store multiple times, and each time we were told someone would call us back — no one ever did. Eventually, we received a generic email stating they wouldn’t help because it was a “final sale.” Again, the piece was not damaged at the time of purchase — it was damaged in their care during delivery. Now that we’ve posted a public review, they’re finally responding — but all they’re doing is asking us to call them, which we already did repeatedly, with no follow-up. It’s clear there was no intention to resolve this issue until it became public. In the end, we had to hire someone ourselves to fix the damage and pay out-of-pocket. At this point, the only fair resolution would be to issue us a Visa gift card to cover the cost of repairs. Disappointing customer service, lack of accountability, and no follow-through. We do not recommend buying from Ashley Furniture if you’re expecting reliable service or post-sale support. you are asking if you can resolve it now, but we have already been down that road and you refused so we had to hire it out to be fixed. If you really want to resolve this issue we would accept a $200 visa gift card to use anywhere - to cover the cost of getting this fixed since Ashley Furniture told us they would not take care of this. The furniture is nice but the service after the sale is lacking. You can’t call the store with issues only get directed to a call center who mostly don’t know any answers.

My visits to Ashley Furniture were blessed and supernatural. Sherry and Josh were the angels in disguise who assisted me. My circumstances limited my budget, but the furniture that I needed was essential to restoring my home following a house fire. The first time I visited Ashley, Sherry assisted me with viewing my options. She was patient, attentive, knowledgeable, professional, empathetic, and treated me with respect in view of my circumstances. I didn’t attempt to buy that day, but knew I would return to Ashley to buy what I needed. When I returned, Josh came out of nowhere to assist me. He assessed my needs by asking me questions and actively listening to my responses. He used that professional skill to show me what Ashley had to offer. I was impressed! I had questions about what I wanted to buy. Josh answered all of my questions by allowing me to experience the comfort, appearance, durability, maintenance of my selections. I was persuaded and had confidence and trusted his suggestions. He helped me to buy exactly what I needed! Josh is amazingly gifted at his profession. Both he and Sherry exhibited stellar customer service skills and I am forever grateful for the service they provided. Thanks to both you!

Worst experience 😪.spent 5grand Manager ordered wrong bed and was a disaster from there. No communication was told one thing after another with broken promises. MADE 3 TRIPS TO STORE TO RESOLVE BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD CALL US OR SAY ANYTHING Had to make 3 trips to warehouse after being promised delivery and set up. Made payments on wrong orders and had to take off work. If you want to micro manage paid employees to do there job and do everything yourself for over priced particalboard. This is for you. Your warehouse people even had to apologize for several store transactions that they encountered with concern. They did their job and apologize for store not doing theirs.

Great customer service in store. However, we were not told the set that we purchased could take weeks to be delivered. I called today and was told that they would give us a weeks notice, as in they have no idea when it would get delivered!! I wish we had been informed about this when we bought it and said we wanted it delivered!!

My person that was helping me was great. His name was Wes. Additionally, he brought someone else over to provide me a discount for my warranty on my desk. Unfortunately, another worker walked by stating that she’s got the “Grandma”, Staking claim on a customer in a derogatory way in front of me. That really didn’t sit well with me and it made me wonder what the employees are referring to us as before they come to greet us.

I was looking for a sofa and Josh directed me to check the outlet items first. I found exactly what I needed and saved quite a bit by taking advantage of the outlet area. He could have easily started showing me more expensive items first. I appreciated his help and was excited to find a sofa I love at a great price.

The sales staff were very informative and helpful, but I felt the 80% off anniversary sale was misleading... i was going to spend about $1,000-1,500 and that qualified for a 10% discount... I had to spend $1,900+ to get a 15% discount... Lord knows what I would have to spend to get 80%! I asked if clearance items were 80% off and I was told prices were in red. Most of what I found (scratched and broken) were about 20% off regular price. I left and went elsewhere.

Josh is INCREDIBLE! His super knowledgeable and friendly, and gave incredible design ideas. I highly recommend asking for Josh if you are in store, he made this process so much fun!

Haven't been in the store in 15 years, I think the quality is better now than when we were there previously.

Ben greeted us at the door and was extremely helpful and courteous. Shane was outstanding and helped us we only shop at Ashley due to the customer service we get there.

Product may be nice! But you can not talk to anyone on the delivery side of things. I was told my product would be here between 7 to 9 am. The AI is saying 2:11 pm. The other AI is saying 4:15 to 7:15 pm. How can you plan your day with that kind of information. A person has to take the whole day off work. They need to get a handle on customer service before it ends up in India.

Not sure why I need to give them a one star. Worst service ever. Our bedroom suit delivered with no bed slats been trying to get this taken care of. Was told they were taking care of this and someone would be out today between 1 and 4pm. No show again. Do not buy from this company it's a joke 😒

My husband and I walked into this Jtown Ashley last night and had a pleasant experience. We needed to see almost everything regarding furniture for multiple rooms. The sales person, Kevin, approached us, gave us an explanation of the store and let us look at everything without hovering. He was around for questions when we were ready. The store has a large selection for just about everything, even outdoor furniture. We're already making plans to shop more for the rest of our rooms. Thank you for being patient with us and letting us figure out what we like.

Went in to just see if I could maybe find a bed 🛌 where the head and foot portion went up and down!! I met with Paul Singh helped me out! Had a good experience with Jacob at the Ashley Outlet. He was not pushy and was very informative. One thing that would have helped my experience was for any salesperson to acknowledge me when I entered the store. I stopped at a dining room table, where 6 salespeople/staff were sitting and told them I had a question. Jacob got up and offered to help. I had walked thru the entire store and passed at least 3 salespeople, besides those at the table. Everything worked out, however I think a greeting upon entering the store is nice.

First, the store was really nice with a great selection but I felt like I was at a used car lot with someone at the door ready to pounce but that is what it is. She was nice and did not hover and explained the sales and checked on me periodically so that was good. I came looking for a lamp my wife had seen online and we were hoping to get right then and not having to wait for shipping and worrying about porch pirates or shipping damage. We wanted a physical store to deal with. That'd not matter as they would have to order and ship to me anyway. They said they would match Ashley's online price but not Amazon or Target which would ship to the store next to me for $13 cheaper and free shipping. The salesperson said they could not go that low even though Amazon's regular price is $7 less than the $49.99 price that was matched. She assumed that if there was something wrong or my wife did not like it when she saw it in person we could bring it back for a refund or they would order another one if damaged in shipping or in assembly. I did not like it but they had already ran my card when I saw that Target would ship to the store. When she took down my info on her phone she got my address wrong missing a letter in the street name. She corrected my information but it was still wrong on the shipping address and could not fix it. Another woman told her to send an email to someone to fix it. That left me uneasy. She also could not tell me the date it would arrive, a few days if in stock. That is not good enough. Amazon would arrive on 2/1 and Target on 1/31. It is an Ashley product you should be able to give an exact date as well. Also, when ordering she had it as two instead of 1 lamp when she gave me the pad to sign and that had to be corrected. This process took a while and made you appreciate online shopping. She said we are used to selling a set of two which is probably the original price and the reason she said she could not match the other price. I am now hoping that it arrives by the weekend and is in good shape. But who knows when it will show up. I don't. I left feeling played, stupid and full of trepidation not happy and excited but as long as it gets here in a timely manner, in good shape and my wife likes it that is all that matters. We are looking for new living room and bedroom furniture and we will see how this goes before considering Ashley furniture for these larger purchases.

I went in the store today to see if they had shelves I found online. They did not however, they matched the price online and helped me order them and get a delivery in place. Everything went well on this visit.

Google took me to the other side of the building. Before heading that way, I text as asked saying I was heading that way to “minimize wait time” and when I arrived I text again. I was there 30 minutes and nothing… went knocking on doors and someone told me they were on the other side of the building. I went to that side and went inside. Lady at the desk said oh ya those texts are going to someone in a different state they have nothing to do with us we didn’t know you were here…. I said so that’s a problem it shouldn’t be that way and she just agreed. After waiting longer for 2 people in front of me I got my item which I found was damaged upon opening. For the prices they charge for their furniture they should improve a LOT of their business processes.

Very unhelpful staff

The third trip was the one where I walked out with a purchase. Josh was great to work with days 2 & 3. Ashley has a wide variety as a whole. I have more positive things to say than negative. My personal preference for looking for any high ticket item is “leave me alone so I can look.” You know…it is that feeling when you go buy a car….you know the one; I don’t need to explain any further. A salesman that can’t read social cues (or chooses not to read them) is just not a good match for me. So, if you decide to go, ask for Josh. He respected that! I was not sure what I wanted to the office space I was creating. He wasn’t pushy and that was what made me come back for the third look.

Our sales rep was great. The process was easy and we are very excited about our purchases.

I will just start this off by reminding anyone looking to buy furniture, this is NOT the only Ashley store in the area. I would urge you to visit a different one. When we first came into the store we were approached by Josh who seemed eager to help us. My wife and I already had what we wanted picked out which should make his job much easier. We explained to him that we're closing on a new home and we're looking to place an order of furniture for the new home. The new home is in SC and this was also explained to him. We just wanted to verify some things and get eyes on a few pieces (specifically couch set) and would be back to place our order once we closed on our home. Upon returning to the store we met with Josh yet again where we began working in the order. At the point of being ready to place the order Josh decides to tell us that they cannot ship to SC because Ashley stores are regionally aligned and can only ship from warehouses within their region. At this point we should've just left but after being there for nearly 3 hours it felt like we would be wasting a ton of time if we did. At this point we ask about purchasing the things we can pick up from their warehouse locally to at least get some of the items and since Josh has spent so much time working with us we were trying to at least buy something from him. Another mistake on our part. After some work Josh gives us a list of what can be picked up from their warehouse. I confirmed with him multiple times that I can be at the warehouse at 0900 the next day to pickup the items and he verified that was correct. We place the order and leave. The next day I arrive to the warehouse to pickup yhe items and am told that only 1 item on the entire is in stock and can be picked up. I was baffled. After some discussion with the ladies at the pickup office (they were amazing by the way), I was informed that I was misinformed about how order pickups are done (She was being nice and trying to not say that I was LIED to but it was clear that what she meant). Apparently, when you order with Ashley and are picking it up yourself the warehouse requests your items from their manufacturers and once they arrive they contact you for the pickup (these items are not just sitting at the warehouse waiting for purchase). The ladies were able to move some stuff around and pull from other orders that were waiting on pieces that have to arrived yet to get me most of mine. Being still short a few items I took what I could get and left. We have made multiple attempts to reach back out to the store and been ignored, given the run around by other employees and just straight avoided. Since we're moving out state and leaving the day after our order was picked up we weren't exactly able to go back in store to corner Josh about his lies which has resulted in me just writing this review. We have also called Ashley directly and were advised to go into the store or call the store which has been unsuccessful on both accounts. I would avoid this store and specifically not buy through Josh. He will lie to you and then do his best to ignore you and not own up to anything once he gets the sale he is after. Hopefully this will help others avoid the disaster in the future.

We love the furniture but when it was delivered a few pieces were broken and busted. They are replacing the pieces but we can’t put everything together and put things back in our drawers.

I purchased a bedroom set, dining set, and sofa from Ashley in October. I am loving all of the pieces I got so far. Catherine was the one to help me throughout the process and she was the BIGGEST help. She ensured that I was getting the best deal possible through their promotion which was obviously much appreciated. She is very knowledgeable about her job and proved so by helping to fix an error another rep had made which would have costed me about $500 in excess of what I should have paid when adding pieces to an existing order. I would strongly recommend her to anyone shopping at this location!

Worst experience in a purchase i have ever in my life had. Purchased over 4k in furniture. The bed i got was to high so I requested to exchange it. Long process, then when I got the one that was supposed to be lower they didn't order the right box set so it was just as high as the first. Another long process to correct. When I did get the proper box for the bed. The legs of the slacks were not attached properly so a few days after at 2 am in the morning the bed collapsed as the legs fell n snapped the slacks with my husband and I hitting the floor and my head. As of now my mattress n box are on the floor . Which I'm sure will be another long process without compensation for all my inconvenience. Don't buy from here or use their financing. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer care. NEVER EVER AGAIN . I'LL GO TO A NON NAME BRAND STORE BEFORE EVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN.

We had a low-no pressure experience while shopping for furniture. We found just what we needed and Joshua was extremely helpful and able to answer all our questions. Will look for him again when we shop for furniture in the future.

I was greeted politely by Bryant who gave me a promotion add and time to roam pointing me in the direction of children bedroom sets. After ample time to look around and finding interest in merchandise Bryant assisted/ answered question and completed the sale promptly. Pleasant and effortless process.

Both catherine and sherri have been so very accommodating. Sherri is really an expert with the product. Delivery was very quick. Excellent job for Ashley branch at Jeffersontown! We are enjoying our tempur pedic bed!

Sadly, I’m having a very poor experience. I bought 2 items out of the extremely large clearance room without being told the items were ‘as is’. The furniture had nothing on them that indicated as is or that they were damaged. If they had been, I would have scrutinized/looked them over thoroughly. Next, I was not notified to set up a delivery so I contacted them. After receiving a call (unable to answer at the time), my husb called back to confirm the date and time. We waited all afternoon but no one came. I then called a customer service number. I was told they could see we approved of the date/time but it did not get relayed to the delivery people. We then had to wait another week. Now today we received the couch and chair and both were damaged. We discovered this just after the delivery men left. Upon calling to place a complaint I was told they were ‘as is’. As I mentioned earlier, I was not informed of this. We are now waiting to hear back to see if we can resolve this issue.

Online price not honored and protection plan double charged . Returned to store day after delivery for understanding and was not given understanding or refund on the protection plan charge of $349 versus $149 for same product online. Manager just said the cost of the couch increases with 0% financing when online financing shows same product cheaper with 60 month financing (online for 1223.99 w/ 60 month financing, charged 1249 for 36 month) . Special financing is a joke and is clear they have no interest or concern for returning customers or continued business . Don’t shop at the Jtown location, or do extensive research before purchase. My fault for trying to get out the door quickly because of my kids and not paying attention to the detail a little better.

Salesperson was friendly and helpful. He was not high pressure and allowed us to price several items.

Sales people were nice and helpful but very misleading. Told us what we wanted to hear to get the sale. Lied to us about how our mattress was packaged. Tried to get a hold of a real person but all I got was a call center who also could not get anyone at the store on the phone. Then, they said someone would call us to set up delivery. Noone called just got a text giving me a time. Tried to talk to a live person to change delivery time but once again, couldnt. You can never talk to anyone at the store or warehouse. Canceled orders an going somewhere else.

Bought a small side table in the outlet store. Paul, the salesman, was nice, helpful and not pushy. Good selection of furniture and wall decor in the main showroom.

Crazy that I paid $2k for a couch to have delivered to my house within a month. Here I am a month and a half later and now I’m being told it’ll be another 6 weeks before I get it. Mind you I sold my old couch in prep for the new one so now I have nothing but lawn chairs in my living room. Absolutely ridiculous.

Over promising delivery dates To show up with half the order and then Tell you the rest of the order is On back order but they didn’t know when. Had to call an automated line Im still on the phone 35 minutes Worst customer service ever. They delivered one night stand the rest of bed room suite is 8-10 weeks out And nobody let us know until the day they said they would deliver it all

I will never buy from the store again. Made an online purchase their return policy is you must notify them within 72 hours of your desire to return if that is not done they will not accept a return whether online or in store.

Kollin was fantastic. I was in and out in 1 hour and am very satisfied.

I had the best customer service experience with Will Letke. They should have more managers like him.

Worked a deal and was using 48month financing as payment option. Signed multiple forms and payed a $145 dollar down payment as required. Then get informed that what i was purchasing did not qualify for 48 month only 6 months!! This is after being told multiple times I could go up to 60 months and after spending hours in store. Then to top it all off they could not refund me my $145 dollar deposit!! This was not one single employee not be knowledgeable in an area but Multiple employees.. Needless to say i wish someone there knew what they were talking about.. and hopefully i receive a refund on my deposit that i was told could take up a week

Impeccable service. We were helped by the kollin and he was absolutely fantastic. He had a great personality and very high salesmanship. He was patient and showed us a few products and ended up helping us on the getting the best deal available. I highly recommended this location.

I am pleased with the service that was rendered to me. The salesperson was informative, courteous, and patient.

My sales associate was awesome the manager who provided the Override was rude. I declined the extended warranty and he said don’t call me when you have a problem. He continued to try to harass me into taking the coverage. I wanted to walk out based on his behavior.

Unfortunately the savings you might benefit from are offset by potential mistakes and lack of customer service. We have spent countless hours trying to track down our correct order as a result of the in-store representative placing the wrong order. We ordered our bed on Aug 3. The wrong order was delivered on Aug 22, and we still do not have the corrected item on Sept 4. Will not shop from Ashley again.

Avoid this company at all costs. If you have a coupon or they are having a sale it’s not worth it. We bought a bed for my son in the store, it showed up it was the wrong color. I’ve been on the phone for total of 2 hours over a week and half span trying to get this fixed and still no answer. Every time they tell they are waiting on a supervisor to approve it. This is even after the store and customer service have admitted they made the mistake. I get it mistakes happen but this is the worst customer service I have even had to deal with.

Disappointed in my experience with this location. Moved to a new home and needed a few furniture pieces. I purchased two beds, a dresser and four night stands. Paid for my order in full. The store experience was good, but the delivery process was a nightmare. First delivery was cancelled becuse the rep charged me 1 cent less than the total. Second delivery date one bed came with the wrong hardware. Second delivery date was cancelled with no warning. Third delivery for one piece. Fourth delivery the bed had NO hardware. My husband drove to the store, got the hardware but did not come with screws. He just bought screws to put the bed together. Ashley is just not what it used to be.

Great experience today at the Ashley store in Louisville, KY. All the associates were friendly and helpful, but store manager Bryant Cotten really went above and beyond.
