I just bought a king size bed from them. And footboard was completely unfinished. Installers saw this said nothing. Barely speakers English. Went to store 3 times and called there crappy 800 complaint line to file claim and it’s a joke. Talked to mgr once. Got no where, everything I go up joined available to help or replace this. I will never shop at this company ever again. And I’m filing a BBB complaint on this fraudulent company. They sure took my money fast though!

They lied to me about the delivery date and I still haven’t received my purchase and I’m already making payments on it. Ashley take no accountability and place blame on the manufacturer. The escalation specialist is also no help this is ridiculous and Ashley should be ashamed of themselves!!! DO NOT GO HERE BE WARNED!!!!! You will be paying for an item you never receive and no communication no follow ups and no attempts to rectify the situation! If I could leave 0 stars I would because they don’t even deserve a half of a star yet alone 1!!! DO NOT SHOP WITH ASHLEY HOME FURNITURE!!!!!!!

Nice and helpful and professional and friendly

This is my first time purchasing from Ashley and it will be my last. First impressions were great but the salesman, I think his name was Trey, clearly lied just to land the sale. I told him my situation, how I needed something asap, he seemed very helpful and told me we would look at options that are readily available. He told me my furniture would be delivered Tomorrow 7/11, but when I never received a confirmation text I decided to call the fulfillment center. They told me it has to be scheduled next week, that it was never available this week, and WORD FOR WORD I was told “the sales team will say this so they land the sale.” Despite being very frustrated I schedule it for next Tuesday 7/16. The confirmation text, however, tells me next Wednesday 7/17. So I call again, and I am told it has to be Wednesday. For all I know I’ll never get my furniture. TLDR: don’t let nice salesman like Trey or a pretty sales floor fool you, Ashley Furniture only wants your money regardless of the circumstances.

Horrible experience all around. Took weeks to get a refund and they “lost” the warranty that I paid for, emailed my receipt several times and made several phone calls before I was refunding my money for a loveseat that was never delivered.

Terrible. I ordered delivery and they claimed I wasn’t home said that they knocked on the door which they did NOT. The couch was supposed to arrive between 8-11:30 they showed up at 11:26 and sat there getting paid across the street for 13 minutes. Watched me move my car and left while I was parking. Called 3 times in 1 minute and left in 13 minutes. I tried calling and texting within that time only to be forwarded to a call center.

My husband and I were looking for a specific duel electric sofa given we both have back pain. We traveled 30 miles from southern Indiana to check out a sofa we found online yet were advised that it was Not there and that they had No control of what was available on the floor. The only way we could see that specific sofa was to order it online and we refused because you truly have to sit on a sofa to know if it fits your body and has the back support we were looking for. Charles, the sales associate was very nice and helpful and did assist us in locating a sofa right away. He was professional and helped get us a discount to offset the cost to keep it within our price range so all in all we were happy with our purchase. We are looking forward to the delivery in 3 days which is sooner than expected so that makes up for the initial issue listed above.

Bought the couch and furniture warranty from Ashley furniture. Couch is 1yr 8 months old. Warranty company says rip in fabric not covered after dealing with them for 6 weeks Joseph Herbert said warranty company would cover anything.Ashley furnIture said Joesph Herbert only a salesman and he can't help you .Warranty company recommended 2 of their furniture repair companies and they told us they only repair furniture that's been approved by warranty company so what do do with a $2000 couch that you thought would be covered by warranty.Ashley furniture says it has nothing to do with warranty company and has been no help whatsoever in helping us figure this out.When I call nobody wants to talk to us or give any information that might help.I just don't understand Ashley furniture customer service ,I just want to know what to do to get some help my couch I do not think this is asking to much Ashley Furniture. We had a great experience purchasing furniture at Ashley's. But trying to get a repair done on a recliner motor was like pulling teeth. Eventually, we just gave up and had the repair performed by a private contractor. We will now purchase non moving items from Ashley.

I initially wrote a good review. But before my furniture was delivered, my experience turned bad. When we were buying the furniture, we were getting emails about a memorial Day sale. I asked Heather if we could get the sale and she said yes and later, she said we could get free delivery. When the furniture didn’t arrive on time I called the sales lady Heather to find out why. I called her on her personal cell phone that she had given me because she said you couldn’t get a hold of the store directly. I found out later they don’t answer the phone. They let the calls go to a call center. She said she would check into it and get back with me. She never did and I could never get a hold of her again so I kept calling and I got the call center and they said that the reclining chair was on backorder and that was the hold up, but they knew nothing about the memorial day sales price or the free delivery. I finally called and talked to a man and I was going to cancel the order and he asked me to let him contact the store manager so that he could call me and straighten everything out.. He called me back and said the manager was going to talk to Heather and they would call me. They never called me so I canceled the order. And I went to Value City Furniture and got a better deal on similar furniture. Ashley has awesome furniture but the sales people and the way they run the store is horrible. I would take my business elsewhere if I were you. Ashly experience put us in a horrible bind and we almost lost financing because of them. I would never recommend Ashly to any of my friends or family. If I could give them, no stars I would.

My wife and I purchased two recliners this past Sunday. There was no sales pressure just was told about different options to purchase and Memorial Day sale. Only downside was we have to wait for 5 to 10 until they will be available for pick up. But we were okay with the availability. Thanks Patrick for your help…. Bill&Jenney Stoltz

Update: thank you to one of the managers he got the wedge on order and should arrive in a week Went into the store and placed a order for a beautiful sectional couch back in February 2024 and after 3 months I get my order to find out the sales man never ordered the wedge piece that ties the sectional together, so now I'm in limbo waiting once again in hopes this gets corrected sooner then later. At this point I will never shop at Ashley's again.

Absolutely don’t recommend buying anything from here. I got a whole set of bedroom furniture just over a year ago and the bed frame has broken to where it can’t be slept on and has been this way for over a week and noone has helped us. I purchased a $500 protection plan and after waiting to hear from them as well they said that’s not covered. These products are junk and the customer service is a joke.

People in the store were amazing but the warehouse or the people that get all the pieces of the furniture you want together my husband and I are having issues with. We have now had them tell us our sectional would be here on two diffrent dates and we orderd our sectional about 2 months ago (yes we where told we will have a delay fo 6 weeks for 2 items which i believe are the armless chairs) The first time they rescheduled the delivery they said they still needed to get 2 of the armless chairs and now they are saying that the loveseat isn't in. So when they rescheduled the first time the love seat was in but now it's not so what happened to it these last 2 weeks.now they said the love seat won't be in until the 17th of April which is a joke. Come on Ashley's get your stuff together

Greeted at the door. Although she was helping another guest she contacted someone to help me. Because I had completed my research online the process was quick and easy. Everyone was friendly and I loved that the staff referred to me as a quest.

I am satisfied, especially the reception was very good, it made me want to come back tomorrow for another purchase.

I worked with Patrick Murphy. He greeted me when he saw me and let me roam around until I found what I was looking for instead of hovering over me; which I’m grateful for and would have given him a 6th star if it was available just for that. He helped me look for my bar stools and made sure they were in stock. (The first ones I wanted were not, so this was also a plus.) Before I bought my furniture, he highlighted the protection plan for me since I have a 5, almost 6 year old that might make the plan very necessary. I’m super excited about my purchase and can’t wait for the delivery. I chose a day I’d be at home versus the next day delivery option.

Still waiting for my refund on furniture that couldn’t be delivered until January brought in November to have by Christmas kept changing the date but would definitely not have it by Christmas so canceled the order to go somewhere else that I could get by Christmas put down half the the money so needed a refund. That was December 12/11/23 have called many times and they keep telling me it’s on way. Would love if someone from company could contact me because I haven’t been able get anywhere.

We previously bought 2 recliner couches about 2 years ago, one manual and one electronic, both are excellent couches and are used everyday. Recommend Shane as a salesperson! Updated review… today another shopping trip with our daughter, bought another kitchen set, 2 king beds and a rug. Again from Shane, great at his job. Quality furniture at reasonable prices! I went in on a cold and rainy night, and Kim greeted me. She didn’t make me feel like I was being sold to. She just answered my questions which made me trust her and I bought the piece a day later. Kim was very informative and an excellent sales person. I live 45 minutes away from the Ashley store. Kim and Ashley’s made the buying process extremely easy by sending me a link at home where I could purchase what I seen in the store. I would recommend Kim and Ashley furniture all of my friends.

There’s a large selection of furniture at the Ashley’s Furniture at Jefferson Mall in Louisville. Our sales associate (Lauren) greeted us and allowed us to walk through the store without being overbearing. However, she was readily available to answer questions.

The consultant was very helpful when we were looking for a love seat. She pointed out aspects of the couches we may have missed. She was willing to work with us on the price and other costs.

I went in acouple weeks ago talk to patrick and was told they would price match louisville overstock for the same furniture to get it there. I went back today with the intent to buy the furniture but was told by Charles they wouldn't match it and to buy it from them and I had a dinette that was from a store online that was told they won't price match any store that not brick and mortar. I informed him it was brick and mortar and was told well that just what the say but won't price match and that isn't in louisville. The dinette was the arkenton and I was trying to get 1399.99 which is what he said he couldn't match and the closest he could do was 1575. But the Ashley website shows the same dinette with table, bench, and 4 chairs for 1399.99. The bedroom was about 1500 more expensive here for the same items. I was looking at getting the bedroom set chest and extra night stand. I wouldnt recommend this location because of this.

We purchased a sofa and two loveseats with two end tables and a coffee table. Patrick moved all the pieces together so we could see what it all looked like together and how it would align and fit as I am disabled so critical was support for my spine and other issues I have with all the bones in my body! It was his caring for his client and Ashley's ethics and pledge to take care of their customer's needs that sold us along with the beauty of the set we purchased! I would highly recommend anyone looking for new furniture to check them out as it was NOT JUST ABOUT MAKING A SALE, but it was about taking care of their customers needs! They showed that to be their priority and dare say that's rare today! Thank you Patrick and Ashley's for helping us in this difficult time in our life! More surgeries to come and you showed compassion and made sure we got things that will help in my healing with comfort and support for my spine!

I never leave reviews for places but this has been a complete nightmare. First off, the staff and the salesmen we talked to was absolutely amazing. Which makes it suck that I have to give one star. I would not recommend getting ANYTHING delivered to your house if you purchase it from them. My MIL brought us a kitchen table and 4 chairs about 2 weeks ago. They were supposed to be delivered yesterday between 9am and 12 am. They ended up coming closer to 12:30, which isn't horrible. But they didn't "have the chairs on the truck." So we only got the table. We were told they got put on another truck by the delivery drivers and the women I called from Ashley furnitures number. They were supposed to come at 2. Well they never showed up. I got a message with pictures of the table in our garage and the chairs at someone else's home and a signature that wasn't mine saying that got delivered. I called back AGAIN and was told they would send a recovery team out to get the chairs and they would be delivered. When I asked a time, they couldn't provide one and when I asked to speak to someone who could give me more information they said "they only chat online with people. They don't have phone numbers." Well surprise, surprise they never showed up yesterday. I got a phone call around 7pm from the delivery guy saying they would be by to drop them off at 10 today. Nobody showed. My husband called at 12:30 and a women was chatting online with her manager and was supposed to give him a call right back. Well nobody called. So he called AGAIN at 2:30. He was told the chairs were on a truck about 3 hours from our house but we are supposed to get them today. I'm sure we won't. We will probably never see those chairs and at this point if they don't come, I will make sure my MiL gets a refund for them. I'm just so disappointed with this process and frustrated with how little information we have been provided. Just pick up whatever you purchase from them please. It really isn't worth the headache.

The service was wonderful until delivery. My first delivery was supposed to be Dec.2. When I didn’t hear from the delivery people, I called and was told both of my deliveries were to be on Jan. 6 I specifically told the salesman that I wanted the Alasaundra delivered on Dec. 2. Needless to say, I was very disappointed that I had to wait another week and change other appointments around to make the delivery work on Dec. 6.

When I arrived at the store, I was not greeted. I had to find a representative to assist me. My delivery date was set, but the helper “forgot” his id so he could not enter post. I called to ask when it would be delivered and was told I would receive a call that evening. It is three days later and I have only received a text. When I asked to cancel the items, I was placed in limbo because their wait time is high. The customer service is horrible. I expected better, we have used them for years. I’m so disappointed.

Large, well lit showroom. Good selection of motion furniture. Service was top notch. Helpful, but not pushy at all!! She went above and beyond to get our unused warranty refunded to us. Service deserves 5 stars. The 4 stars are for: Building condition. Lots of the powered motion furniture had no power. The sales person had to trade out several of the power packs for us to test. The flooring is a train wreck and needs to be replaced. Furniture selection. No fault of the store, but I would love to see Louisville carry just a few more modern lines (like Joybird) Choices are often between modern farmhouse or bedazzled and mirrored.

They don’t have a return policy. Prices are higher then anywhere else pure scammers at ashley furniture. The Louisville location has the BEST customer service of all the other Ashley’s around. They are quick to find answers and help you get the best deal you can. We live in Frankfort and are much closer to the Lexington branch but prefer the Louisville location because of their customer service!!

Your phone system is pathetic! Not everyone uses the computer and email. For that, your sales people suffer. You should revamp your system. A great many of us DON'T DO ROBOTS!

I will NEVER order anything from Ashley HomeStores again. We got rid of our old table and prepared the space for our new one to be delivered and assembled today. I waited around all day and the time kept getting pushed back. 10pm rolls around so I call to confirm if I should still be expecting them tonight and they assured me it would be delivered at 11. Here it is almost 12:30am and the delivery man is in the same exact spot he was in 4 hours ago and it’s now saying it will be delivered at 2am. $200 for “hassle free” and “premium” delivery. The communication has been ridiculous and if they ring my door bell this late and wake my son up I will be even more livid. Mind you it was supposed to be delivered between 1pm-4pm today.

Update: our salesman messed up and charged us for the wrong item and we had to wait another 20 mi a for that to be fixed then the warehouse did not have the item as he said it would when we went to pick it up.

Worst customer care period at the Louisville, KY location. We bought a 8 chair dining room set but we were charged for 10, tried correcting the issue with the agent who returned my text on his day off and promised to solve the issue the next day. Next day came, couldn’t reach him, texted him, call the store, call the 800 #, nothing. The 800# customer care wouldn’t transfer me directly to the store either. So I call the same customer service # and cancel my $2900.00 order!

I purchased the loveseat, the color and size were exactly as stated. 62-year-old female and getting it out of the box and unwrapped would be the most time-consuming part. The assembly was easy, the whole process took about 40 minutes. The instructions don’t really say a whole lot but pictures and looking at it you can figure it out pretty easily. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Not happy loveseat we purchased doesn’t recline and told them right after the delivery people left. They are wanting to send parts and fix it. Something I paid to be new not damaged then fixed. We bought a bed and living room furniture. The tempura-pedic bed was unpackaged and set up in twenty minutes. The adjustable base was not working day one and bed connector taken with delivery team. This store has done nothing to correct this issue so we canceled furniture order. Past selling they do care if you receive products that are working! BUYER BEWARE! Not a good store!

I think most of our first home is furnished by Ashley at this point. Since this past Thanksgiving we bought a new dining room set, living room sectional, our bedroom set, and last night our son's bedroom set. Buying from this store is way better because they usually have sales/discounts that aren't available online. The financing offered is usually more in store as well if you go that route for any purchase. Looking at all the furniture stores in our price range Ashley had the best quality and design choices hands down. Until we can afford somewhere like Arhaus, this is aur choice lol. The only thing I don't love is the high pressure commissioned sales tactic of the protection plans. It's irritating when you say a firm no that they ignore you and "call the manager to see what they can do about the pricing". Do not love that. Then they take money off the furniture set but only if you buy the protection plan. I really hate that, but I get that's more corporates fault for making that a necessary part of their paycheck. It's no different than any other high pressure sales tactic, it's just not something I expected the first time I wanted to just walk in and make a quick purchase. Other than that the employees are helpful and nice enough aside from the salesman stuff. We look younger than we are based on dress and behavior, so we often have people assume we don't have money for a large purchase, and they didn't judge us based on how we dressed since you can't judge a book by the cover with us at all. Love that. The delivery is a crazy cost as well when it should be free based on the price of the purchase. It's free during some promotions, and not others. Don't love that. Don't love all the super high costs of all the stuff normal people would need for a large purchase like this (size and cost). I know it's common practice though which is why online purchases are taking over. There's usually free shipping on the website though, so you'd have to consider the price between the two if you utilize the $350 approx delivery. That's without install or putting it together. That's at least another couple of hundred. Thankfully my husband and I own a 4x4 truck and he's very handy otherwise I probably would have purchased online for some of my purchases. We also got free delivery on the only purchase we used it for during a sale that offered it. That wasn't great. They kept postponing the delivery date and wouldn't let us switch to pick up. So lots of not great things from the corporate end, but it's still our choice for the best quality at the best price in Louisville. We don't buy from anyone else.

The bed was delivered in perfect shape and assembled. The mattress was the wrong size for the bed, I have my toddler asking me when the mattress will be here, that is so disappointing. I have been calling all day to speak with someone about when my mattress will be replaced, I can't connect to them.

Worst decision I've made in a long time. Ordered and paid for furniture day after Thanksgiving and finally arrived 2/7 with a damaged cushion after being told originally it would be 1 month out. Personally had to go into the store to get an update on the delivery (I live over an hour away) and the manager said he would call with the details but never did. Damaged cushion will be replaced in 7 - 10 business days, I won't hold my breath. They offered to refund 10% of the purchase and I received $34.00 on a $1600 purchase, they cannot do math either. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company

Very simple very satisfying experience

I have bought two things from Ashley. The first time I bought a couch I got one of the cheaper ones there. The quality was horrible after a year. My thought process was “OK. Maybe it’s just because I bought the cheapest couch.” I bought another couch that was one of the most expensive couches in the store years later. The quality of that couch after a year is the fabric is ripping. It was extremely expensive for what I got. If you’re even a day over their warranty period of a year, they will not help you either. Horrible customer service and the quality is horrible. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Don't buy from them. They do nothing but lie. Bought the extended warranty on an expensive bedroom suite because the salesperson told us we would get our money back if we didn't use it. We didn't use it. Went to the store to get our refund & was told it was only a store credit & that we had to spend a minimum of $500 to be able use the credit. SCAM! Don't buy from Ashley. Go to Bob's discount furniture...beautiful store, great sales people & overall great experience. I'll never purchase from Ashley again. I even filed a claim with the BBB and Ashley still won't honor what their salesperson told us. Horrible company.

The great experience ends when you walk out of the door. We ordered a new section and bedroom suit and the sectional was the only thing we received not damaged in some way. When asked to return the bedroom suit the customers service agent stated that Ashley furniture doesn’t do return. We then had to fight tooth and nail with the agent that barely spoke English, in order to get someone to come out to repair/replace. Will update review come Monday. Last time we will ever do business with Ashley.

I very am disappointed with this place. We have purchased so much furniture from this company, and normally don't have issues. However, I purchased a sectional and a rug last year at this store, and the salesman talked us into adding on the protection plan for an additional $300. When I expressed concern over getting a lighter colored fabric due to having dogs, he informed me that the protection would include having our furniture cleaned as many times as we wanted within the 5 yr plan. So I went ahead with it. Not wanting to take advantage, I waited 9 months before trying to schedule. I was then told that it actually is not included, and I had been misinformed. They only do spot cleaning. I asked for a refund at that point, considering I knew I wouldn't use it. The man on the phone said he couldn't offer a refund over the phone, but we could get one if I went into the store. So after driving to the store and speaking with the customer service manager, she told me they had to put in a request for a call back. We should receive it within 48 hours. That didn't happen. So I called the number that she gave me to call if I didn't hear back- and when I called that, it went to voicemail with a full mailbox. Tried to call several more times with no response. Sorry this is such a long rant, but after all the money I have spent in that store over the last 5 years, I would expect a little more from them.

Even came in and opened the store for us after they had a terrible water pipe break that had flooded the store so that we could complete a purchase and schedule delivery of our furniture. These guys go above and beyond for customer service. Thank you guys so much!!!!!

I have come to this location several times for furniture. I had chosen what I was looking for online this time and was prepared to purchase using the 5 year finance option thinking it was no interest, but I know if you go into the store and pay cash you can get it at a cheaper price. So I go in talk to a sales person and tell them I want the finance price and the cash price so I can determine what route I want to take. To my surprise, the finance option came out to almost $1,000 more. I show the sales person the online price and he says he can price match. Great! Now what’s the cash price? Apparently that is the lowest price because they had to come down so much to meet the online price. Fine, I still want the furniture so we will go ahead and finance since it’s the same price. Then I find out 5 years is NOT interest free, only 1 year. Again I’m frustrated because the advertising is unclear. So again I continue and go with 1 year because I do not want to pay interest. The sales person puts it all together and comes back. At this point I find out that the delivery charge is $50 more than online and the protection plan is $250 more. I was close to walking out and just ordering online, but I really need the furniture before Christmas. The store says delivering in 2-3 weeks while online had a delivery date of December 26th. If my furniture doesn’t arrive before Christmas this will change to a 1 star. Moral of the story, if you find what you want online just buy it there and skip the sales person!

Looking for a mattress and frame. The guru of mattresses Kimberly was not just knowledgeable, but sincerely interested in what we would be best served by. Roy worked the numbers and gave us a good breakdown so we could make the best decision for us.

Initial visit went great then crashed, Even though Shane painted a beautiful picture it is turning into a dibalicale ,no return phone calls, wrong product at the warehouse and extention after extention on arrival of the most expensive piece. My mistake was to pay instead of finance.

Furniture is nice. It took about a month longer than originally told to receive. I confirmed delivery for a specific date but they lost it or didn’t have in the system anymore. So that caused another delay. Delivery people were great.

Overall my sales experience was fine. Salesman was responsive before during and after my purchase. However, Ashley customer service who sets up delivery etc was absolutely terrible and probably the reason I will never buy from them again. Due to supply chain issues I had some split delivery and this was shared with me at purchase. Not a big deal. What was a big deal is the organization of the deliveries. The wrong mirror was delivered 3 times. My bed came in 3 parts and only 2 were delivered at first, rendering it useless and I was on the hook for storing it. However, I got the majority of my order within the same week, but it was rather inconvenient. The warehouse communication with customers is so bad even the delivery drivers told me they are terrible about doing it right the first time. All that aside, it was my most recent experience that was the most troublesome. I kept getting texts to schedule delivery for my remaining items and then they would not show up. This happened 3 times and I called customer service and they couldn’t tell me why I was getting delivery notices as my items weren't in yet. They said the best they could do was give me the local warehouse to call myself. As the customer, I felt like I was doing more work than them so I contacted my store and they were able to give me answers. However the process was so confusing and you never had one direct person to speak with—just a 1800 number. I don’t blame the store where I made my purchase but the customer service from the Ashley Company was some of the worst I have experienced. Finally after speaking with the manager, he had personally called the warehouse to confirm my items would be here. Finally got them and my ticket is closed. Glad its all here. I expected a lot more customer service for spending nearly $10,000. They would probably be ok if you needed just one thing but I probably won’t be back there to make a purchase. I like my items but they need to learn a lot about organizational skills and how to treat customers

Michael Harris at the Jefferson Boulevard location was responsive and attentive to our needs in ordering and purchasing a complete bedroom set. We have additional furniture needs for our new patio home and would definitely consider calling on him again.

My furniture took way too long to arrive. Got multiple texts and emails about the same delivery with different dates, just confusing and uncoordinated.

Charles Hayden worked with us and he was really great. We found what we wanted and he took good care of us. Very smooth process.

Very great experience with my salesman Charles. However, I urge you to look online for the item you want to purchase before buying it! As I sat on the couch that I wanted, I Googled it and it was a thousand dollar difference on the website! No worries Charles honored the price BUT just make sure to look up the item before you swipe your card. Wasn't any fault of his, he said because they are a franchise you will find a price difference online but they honor it. So stay woke.

The customer service for Ashley Furniture is the absolute worst! We have been waiting over 4 months for our new furniture to be repaired by their customer service. They keep telling us they'll call us back to schedule the repairs but they never follow through!! This is extremely frustrating because we purchased over $3000 worth of furniture from them this year and don't deserve to get the run around on getting the necessary repairs we were promised. The salesperson reassured us when we purchased the furniture that we would be well taken care of but that was a complete lie!! Once they get your $$$$$ you get nothing else but headache from this company!! Do not recommend them.

I purchased a 3k leather couch and recliner as well as the "insurance" because I was told it covers pet damage. I go to make a claim and get sent to a 3rd party to get sent to another 3rd party only to find out that it doesn't cover pet damage. Now neither Ashley or the 3rd party insurance want to either cover what they said they were going to or give me my money back. Every manager keep pushing it to someone else. I'm very frustrated and spent too much money for them to say "not my problem" I would never get anything here again or recommend anyone ever shop here. Huge waste of money

Never will I ever order anything to be delivered again. I’ve waited about 2 weeks for my new bed frame and bed, selected the date and timeframe, waited all day for nothing. I call the customer service and they claim my order wasn’t ready but yet nobody decided to call nor email the customer. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks, totally dropped the ball on this one. I won’t be back.

This is the worst mistake in my shopping life. They lied to me about return policy and tricked me into buying a $7000 tempurpedic bed. Now I'm stuck with the bill and bed that I DO NOT like! Horrible company, Horrible people, Horrible customer service.

Terrible Customer Service Last year in 2021 I ordered 2 recliners, 1 loveseat and 3 end tables, my order got split into two, 3 months apart. The loveseat came in with damage and the delivery guy was like, no worries they will fix it. After a year later I got it fixed to good enough that I am done dealing with them. The piece that was damaged comes off, if they just had swapped me the piece it would have been done, but instead of that they decided to send someone out 4 different times to unsew my leather cover, try to stuff it. The repair looked worse than the damage (see pictures). I have had to hassle the heck out of them to get this done, I even had to go to the store to get them to understand. Other Issues Recliners came in, one was damaged, but they did fix it to where you have to look for it to see the repair (yay I guess) One end table had about a 3/8" wobble to it, I fixed it myself to not have to deal with them. My head rest on my couch is peeling were I sit, I am bald so I am sure that has something to do with it since it doesn't happen to were my wife its. So the couch is low quality in that aspect NEVER AGAIN Will I try to save money and buy from Ashley

Terrible customer service!! You have been warned. Also I ordered and paid for 2 recliners. I had to call them when estimated day of delivery came and went on the 23rd of Aug. Now they said maybe Aug 30th? That's 30 days after I paid for them. If they come in then. Also customer service hung up on me....WOW is all I can say. I will never purchase from them again!!! This is my response to Ashley Furniture wanting me to supply information and then taking more of my time to call a number to address delivery issues. First off you have all my information as I submitted it when I ordered the merchandise. Second if you were concerned about how I was treated, or your Second rate delivery service I would have received a call. I've done my part by selecting your merchandise and paying for it. Now do your part. Provide customer service and deliver my merchandise. Customers shouldn't have to hunt you down. The first sign of customer dissatisfaction, you should immediately call to investigate. That is how a business should be run. I shouldn't have to give Ashley Furniture a business model on how it should be run.

Do not shop here. If you are going to go to Ashley, choose a different location. My wife and I bought a bedroom set a month before our wedding with the guarantee that everything was in stock and would be delivered within a month. Three months later, we have not received any of our order, promised money back has not been received, and I cannot get in contact with anyone from the store. They have pushed back the delivery dates for a different reason every time, and every "customer service" representative gives me conflicting information. In short, customer service is non-existent - impossible to reach by phone, constant lies, not knowledgable about company practices or products.

My chair broke within 6 months, won't let me return it, been dealing with customers service and warranty for the last 2 months, going to be another 2 months before anything happens. Will never buy from them again, stay away at all cost!!!

Great product

Furniture took 7 months to arrive. Truck knocked down two large branches on a tree while backing in. Left a gash on the door frame of another bedroom. Broke a packet of silica and left it all over the floor. The silica was also in the drawer of the dresser and in the track where the drawer slides open and closed. It makes it so the drawer will not open or close properly. Very frustrating.

As usual Ashley’s show room is beautiful, with a large selection of really nice furniture. We went to the home store on Jefferson Rd. in Louisville and had a great experience. We were shopping for a couch but it’s always an unpleasant experience to get approached right as we walk in. Often I change my mind despite needing something based on how associates greet customers as they come in. I like to have a few minutes to get my bearings before having to tell someone I’m only browsing. These guys were laid back and greeted us but let come in without forcing us to listen to a sales pitch. Roy was our sales guy and he was super easy to talk to. He let us take our time, didn’t follow us around, answered questions when we asked, and looked for particular items we were looking for. We found a couple things we liked and Roy made the price fit in our range without playing the usual games sales guys inevitably play….or if he did it was unnoticeable to us as he was just a pleasant person to talk to. I will come back and see Roy specifically when I can afford a few more items on my list.

Ashley Furniture has given me the worse customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. My husband and purchased our furniture last May 2021 and still have not received our furniture. I called Corporate to complain and they only delivered half of my furniture collection set. What about the rest of the pieces that cost me thousands? They could not even offer me a discounts, or a refund, but they are still taking money out of my bank account every month for items I do not have. Corporate NOW will not even take my calls because I call so much. How can you be this BIG CORPORATE company but can't tell me when I will get the rest of my furniture I ordered a year ago that I am currently making payments on. If Ashley did not like serving BLACK PEOPLE OR PEOPLE OF COLOR their business they could've said so and I could had taken my business elsewhere. I need LAWYER! RUN. I ordered a couch and they missed 3 delivery dates. Then, the couch didnt fit up the stairs which no one could predict. I then re-ordered a loveseat and after 2 more missed deliveries, they brought a sofa again. The poor delivery guys are treated like garbage, and I have gone 2 months without a couch. Please, order somewhere else. They gas-light every conversation, and if you arent firm they blame it on you. DEMAND discounts, thats the only way they start caring about your order. Please go somewhere else.

Bought a bedroom set from Ashley and it arrived this past Wednesday. First they arrived an 1 1/2 late beyond their window timeframe. Upon there arrival the delivery guy had me sign a liability waiver which he told me was if there was any damage to the walls and floor that they would not be liability so I said ok. He took a picture on his phone and told me everything was setup. Did not look at it in person as I had to go to work. So when I had the chance to review the furniture there was some damage to the footboard and the dresser when I called customer service they told me that by signing this liability I waive all rights of returns and damage that occurred to the furniture. This is insane I took the word of the delivery guy. DO NOT SIGN LIABILITY/WAIVER! I will never shop at Ashley again, the customer service was horrible!

I ordered a table and chairs set in October of 2021 and was told it would be delivered around December since orders were taking a long time. I was okay with that. January 2022 came and I still hadn’t received it. I called and they said just a few more weeks. Well, I didn’t even receive my order until July 2022. I will say that the salesman who helped us with our order was nice and he did help us out by knocking off the delivery charge for our wait. The delivery also went fine. However we quickly realized after they left that the chairs were extremely crooked. None of them are level and they wobble like crazy. We waited 10 months for a low quality table and chairs. I will never use this store again. Not to mention every single time I call, nobody will answer. The only way I could even communicate with someone was because the salesman was nice enough to give us his personal phone number. I wouldn’t even bother leaving a bad review if we just had to wait a while for our order, but receiving such clearly messed up chairs was my final straw.

So far so good. Waiting for the chair to come in!

Delivery service was decent. Armoires delivered are extremely poor quality. There was a bent piece on one armoire and the service person bent the piece back and called it a day. Extremely bad product quality delivered so far and customer service is absolutely terrible. Been waiting 3 months for 2 screws for a nightstand and no clue how long it will take to fix/replace our defective furniture. I would NOT purchase from Ashley in the future unless I took it from the showroom floor.

I was delivered used damaged furniture. No one will help me exchange it. I would not buy from them again.

I've been made promises multiple times all have been lies. I was told my order would be delivered in April. It is now almost September and they just delivered the last two items. I paid for the premium delivery which was supposed to have my furniture assembled it is not. They didn't send hardware for my couch to be assembled and it took a month before someone was sent out to but it together. I'm now waiting to hear back about the assembly of the day bed I purchased. The entire process of dealing with them has been miserable and they lack any form of positive communication. I do not recommend buying anything from them. I'll consider this a lesson learned and the Louisville location has lost my business from now on and I will try my best to talk everyone I know to avoid buying anything from them.

The sales reps were good. Ashley furniture itself is extremely horrible, I do not recommend. My furniture was delayed several times, their customer support is AWFUL. They don't answer the phone, you get put on hold for 30min just for them to hang up. they only do inbound calls, so if they don't connect to your call you start the que over. They customer service chats are awful, they talk to multiple people at a time, slowing everything down. they are rude and find ANY reason to end the chat. I said thank you after they said they'd do something, and they said have a nice day, started the que over because they weren't paying attention. Awful customer service, ill never buy from them again.

Purchased a floor sample bed with ease with salesperson Paul. Very nice. He gave me the number of the third party moving company that picks up clearance/floor samples and was told to call within 24 hours to schedule the delivery. I did and the third party company was very nice and scheduled it for their next pick up a few days later. Obviously the “rule” of 72 hr pick up was lost in communication and I was sent a text message from the store today saying I needed to pick up the bed within 3 hours or my purchase would be refunded and canceled. I am in the middle of selling a home and moving. I need this bed. I tried to call the store several times immediately to see what was going on and no answer. I’ve noticed this before with this store. Nobody answers the phone! I finally reached the salesperson and he was hesitant to relay the message. I asked politely to speak with the manager who I could hear in the background giving orders. I asked to speak with her again and heard a lot of unprofessional dialogue but she finally answered. She was curt, rude , impatient and unprofessional telling me the bed would be canceled and interrupted me repeatedly when I tried to explain I did what I was supposed to do and I can’t help that the delivery people are backed up. I tried again to tell her I did my part in calling who they told me to and two more days was the soonest they could pick up the bed. She acted like she was doing me a favor and “would let me” pick it up in two days but if it wasn’t picked up by 6pm it would be canceled. No if, and or buts about it. What kind of customer service is this? I know everyone is stressed, and I understand retail but her communication skills and professionalism were poor at best. I’ll go above and have asked a friend to help me pick it up tomorrow so I can resolve such animosity and aggravation on the store managers part. Corporate may want to provide more customer service skill classes for management and teach their staff how to handle situations more professionally and civilly. I’m not some junky who doesn’t follow the rules just to aggravate a store managers life. That was absolutely pathetic.

Purchased a reclining couch and love seat that I paid 4600.00 for. They told us we could get the couch delivered in a few days and the love seat would be 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I called to check on the love seat and was told it would June 16th and then was hung up on. They called us again to say our live seat was in and when we called they said they couldn't deliver it until June 29th. I spoke to a manager who said there was nothing he could. I told him I wanted my money back and they could come get the couch. He said that wasn't possible. I call this poor business. I was lied to in the store being told it would be 2 weeks, when I have to wait over a month. If they had told me that in the store I wouldn't have made the purchase. I was told there was nothing they could do!!! I will never buy from Ashley again and I will tell everyone to saty away. They lie to get your money and then don't deliver your purchase!!!

They didn't have any outdoor furniture on site So I had to travel 20 minutes to another Ashley store found what I needed but then decided I don't need outdoor furniture.

Felt important the moment we walked in. Shelby met us and then led us in the direction of the furniture we wanted to look at. She left us alone to browse and said she would be available for questions. At no time was she pushy or pestering us while we shopped. We left with a table in mind but wanted to shoo other stores first. We came back to Ashley's and asked for Shelby when we were ready to make our purchase. Shelby was very pleasant and helpful in our decision making process. Ashley's had what we wanted for a price range previously discussed between my wife an me.

I have bought from Ashley several times in the past five years and was always able to work with Shane Sharpe. He is very knowledgeable about the Ashley products and has never steered me wrong. Always explains the finances and delivery choices I have clearly. Painless experience and always a pleasure to work with.

Worst service ever, we purchased a new bedroom suit almost a year ago and we still don't have it. The store manager acted like it wasn't a big deal. BBB rates them as a 1 star. Class action law suits are popping up everywhere. BE CAREFUL.

I was greeted by Joe H upon entering, and I am SO happy he found me. Truly the best customer service I've ever had.. and he was so kind! He asked me what I was looking for, types of styles and fabrics I had in mind, and a budget. He then let me wander around while checking in on me and showing me exact examples of what I was looking for! He sat with me and showed me different types of customizations and styles, while giving me his honest opinion on whether or not it would fit in the space I am working with. (he even had the tape measure on hand to be safe!) I felt that he truly wasn't just trying to make a sale, but genuinely invested and interested in finding what worked best for what we were looking for. The store in Louisville, Kentucky is a horrible store!!! They will tell you anything you want to hear just to get you to buy. I purchased my dining room table and chairs along with my bedroom set and couch with Ashley back in October. I literally went throughout the store with the sales guys asking him what was in stock and available and if it wasn’t available I wasn’t Interested. I picked out everything they told me was available and told I would receive within a few weeks or days.first I was told my dining table chairs were backed up and I was understanding and went back and picked out others since I had no furniture what soever in my home!! Then they delivered 3 pieces of my couch and said the other 2 were delayed as well and since I saw that the couch was too big anyways I went back again and wanted to pick something else out but nothing I liked was available asap. So I got my money back for the couch. Then its now May and im still waiting for my bedroom set and they keep extending the delivery date!! No one ever calls me to keep me updated. I have to call monthly and when I called now to ask why its taking so long all the reps would eventually HANG UP THE PHONE ON ME!! They get some type of manager and they would just tell me lies and nothing ever comes!!A manager told me last week they would have everything delivered to me yesterday except my bench which I was fine with and nothing ever came!! I went to the store and the manager and another lady in the back were very rude and unprofessional. They never tried to help me out I told then I have been waiting 6 months when I was told 4 weeks and they didn’t care. I know it was because im Spanish because they didn’t even want to give me the time of day. They were very RACIST how they spoke to me and handled the situation. I don’t think im being unfair or inpatient because its been 6 months and they keep extending my date! I have referred many Friends and family and I should be consider being they they all spend over $15k. I feel useless and feel my voice is not being heard because of RACE!!! Its sad that this day in age we still have to live thru this. Stay away from this store!!

Thought I had a nice chair and price boy was I wrong the chair lasted 6 months and then broke waited for a repairman to come verify it was broken beyond repair for 3 months he looked at it for 5 mins and called it waited another 3 months for the arrival of my new chair it arrived it seemed a little different then the original when I first sat in it thought just in my head 3 months later broken again come to find out there was hardware missing in it with black circles around like they were errors caught and then not fixed have waited 3 months again for a repair man to tell me and ashleys the same thing as before and day before the appointment they canceled and I needed to wait another month for a repair man I have gotten tiered of having a chair in my house broken more then operable and I asked for a full refund I was denied with an expensive warranty I bought this is the treatment you get absolutely worse purchase of my life.

Shopped at Jefferson Mall Ashley’s today. It was a great experience working with sales professional Joe Herbert. He was respectful, polite and accommodating. My mother and I walked away feeling satisfied with our purchases.

Great service! My sales rep De’Andre was awesome. Great with answering my question and explaining the make and quality of the furniture. Patient with me taking forever to figure out what would fit and look good in my house. Would definitely refer his service.

Check your receipt! Was over charged on a 4k ticket by10%. I was also charged 2 delivery fees! It took several phone calls to the store and 2 visits to get everything correct.

Ordered 6500. Hundred dollars in furniture sales said would be 6 to 10 weeks out. The week the couch was to be there nothing. Called jtown store said would be 7 months before items would be here. Canceled ordered in store they said would be 3 to 5 business days for a return of what we paid for that day items weren't financed. I can say 30days still no refund. Won't answer the phone or return calls. I wouldn't tell any one to shop here ever. This is by far the worst buying order we have very had.

Went to this store today, and it is absolutely FILTHY. I was completely grossed out by how dirty the floor is in here. I cannot imagine ever purchasing furniture from my home from a place I can barely walk around without wanting to run out.

Went into this store to browse & ended up making a purchase of a sectional. I feel that I was deceived and persuaded into doing so, as both the sales rep Trey Bowman and the owner of the location told me that the delivery delays were not as bad as expected, and strongly assured me it would be delivered in 4 weeks. It has since been 10 weeks and I am unable to get any sort of update or estimate on time. Very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and communication after purchasing, and very dissatisfied with my experience with this store. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Worst furniture experience. Bought an entire bedroom suit and a large sectional that was supposed to be delivered in February. We received a text that our furniture was in and ready to be scheduled for delivery. We called and set up the delivery with a rep. No one ever showed up. When we called to ask about it, Ashley said the delivery was never scheduled and our furniture would not be in until July. They said there were "system issues" which is why we got a text and a phone call confirming our furniture was in and ready to be delivered. When I asked for a customer service line, they gave me a fake corporate phone number that was disconnected when I tried to call. We sold our current furniture the day before we were told the new stuff would be delivered so now we have an empty house until July. Never using them again.

Jan 2020 we purchased two couches and a recliner. Day one the recliner and recliner on couch recliner did not work. We contacted Ashley furniture. Fourteen months later and several calls we can still not use either. They are unplugged. Several hours on the phone issue still not resolved. No one will take responsibility. Ashley furniture or extended warranty we purchased. Sadly we are making payments for things we can’t use. We thought we were buying from a reputable place.

*BEWARE* If I could give 0 stars I would We ordered living room furniture from Ashley Homestore and bedroom furniture. While the wait for delivery is long but understandable at this COVID time, the service was horrible. We paid for the “white glove” delivery, which includes everything. They said parts were missing on the entertainment center and that they had another guy coming with them to finish the delivery process. He never showed up and now 2 weeks later they said they’re ordering parts and it will be another few weeks. We have a messed up living room still. Still waiting …. The bedroom furniture, we are still waiting on some pieces but what did show up was damaged badly, and instead of taking it back and bringing another, they have to put in a service order and send a different person out to look at the damage and then they will send another out. We are still waiting! Ashley Homestore is not the place to shop for furniture. I’d advise to go anywhere else. ANYWHERE but Ashley.

I originally had a good experience with my first purchase but a terrible experience with my latest order. I was assured my furniture was in stock and would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. That was the reason I purchased this set. I previously had an order from another company that I had to cancel because there was no ETA due to COVID delays (I was waiting 5 months for this order, which I expected. I later inquired about the status after 5 months came and went. Iwas told they did not have an ETA so they worked with me and allowed me to cancel it). I explained this to the sales person and they assured me this would not be the case because the set I was ordering was in stock and just needed to be delivered. Each time I inquired about the status I received a different response. Now I am told I will receive my order in May when I order it in October/ November time frame. I am in the same situation I was in before. When I asked to speak to some one higher up I was just left on hold for several minutes. Do not give customers guarantees if you cannot follow through.

I purchased a coffee table from Ashley HomeStore online. It was defective when I received. Since I didn't have the shipping box to return it in, I was told that I could donate to Goodwill, email the receipt, and they would send me a replacement. I verified this with 2 people to make sure correct. I donated to Goodwill, and emailed the receipt to the address that I was given, but there has been no response. I have tried to contact them a few times now, but so far I have received no response.

steer clear of this store, they don't really care about their customers! they will change delivery dates without letting the customer know, you may end up getting your delivery on a day or time that is quite inconvenient to you.

My fiancé (now husband) and I went in to “test couches” and see what they had in store before our military ball a couple weeks back. We didn’t expect to buy a couch that day, but it was so smooth and easy. It was the floor model and Black Friday sales. So, all in all, we got an amazing deal we couldn’t refuse. On top of it being exactly what we were looking for. They were also understanding that we were not going to be able to take it with us that day and probably not for a couple days. We still ended up picking it up the next day, before we expected to be able to. When we picked up the last piece, one of the feet was missing a bolt, which caused the whole piece to wiggle. They didn’t hesitate at all to go find a bolt for us and helped install it as well. The whole experience was super easy going and kinda fun. The gentleman that worked with us, Shane (I think that’s right..if you see this and I am in correct, I’m so sorry), was very welcoming and energetic. Answered all of our questions, kept good conversation and had us laughing the whole time. So thank you for an awesome experience!

The whole experience has been horrible. I ordered a sofa and two recliners back in July. I was told it would take approximately 8-12 weeks to come in. It wasn’t until after the beginning of November that I was able to pick up the sofa. I was told that my recliners had been delayed even further and that they wouldn’t be ready until December 4th. I called to verify that they arrived and am now being told they were delayed another 7-9 weeks. Here I am after paying in full for both the sofa and recliners and can’t get a straight answer. I have called customer service multiple times and am put on hold for over 30 minutes every time and still no resolution. I even asked for my money back on the recliners and I was put on hold where the call got dropped. Needless to say the customer service is poor and the scheduling is even worse. If you can’t keep up with demand stop taking new orders.

0/10 customer service. We purchased a bed and dresser for $3000. Then we waited for 3 month for it to be delivered. When it was delivered there is a giant hole in the bed frame. Then they did not bring the box frame that I bought. This mattress cannot be used with this bedframe without a box frame. They told me it would be another 2 month before my box frame would arrive. I had to dig my old box frame out of the garbage. When I went to the store I was instructed to call a number on a piece of paper. I was there in the store in person and they refused to help. I called the number on the list and the person on the line could not help me either. The level of incompetence in their customer care is unreal. I had to go and buy another bed frame from a different company. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!

This review is for Ashley‘s delivery service. Their truck ran over my clean out pipe for my sewer line which caused basement flooding 3 days after. They sent the rapid response team and their best defense was the tire marks were not from their truck despite us witnessing the incident. So for this irresponsible denial, BIG thumbs down for Ashley’s.

The MOVERS didn't ware a mask when they are in/out of homes daily!!! When asked to ware one.... They didn't have one...I guess the company doesn't care about the safety of others!!!! Not PLEASED!!!! COVID is REAL!!!

We bought a nice bedroom set and the delivery time was quoted as 6 weeks. It took 6 months with zero updates or explanations. There are 2 pieces that don't fit and the delivery team said to go to the store, store says to call or e-mail return center, return center ignores us. Complete headache! Horrible experience, couch was shipped and was found to be broken, was scheduled to have it fixed twice nobody ever showed up. Went to this Ashley furniture store to talk to the store manager and the only thing she was managing was the chair she was sitting in. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE and ASHLEY COMPANY!!! I have bought 5K worth furniture. Nothing right happened from the time I swipe my card. All they care about to get the money, after that you are on your own.. All my furnitures were delivered with damages and scratches. I raised a service ticket on the same day. It's been three months and multiple calls (Each call last around 45-60 mins) with customer service and there is still no solution. I went to the store and they are absolutely not ready to provide any assistance and very rude instead. All they will say is talk to customer service. But we paid the money at the store, if customer service is not helping why cant the store intervene. In every call with the customer service you start from the beginning as if you are reporting about the problem for the first time. Every time you will get a different response, different promise. Some will say "the parts to fix the furniture are ordered and it will be delivered on a specific date". You wait another 15 days and ofcourse nothing will change. You will call back again and they will say "there is nothing in the system which says the part is ordered. So let me order for you sir.." and the cycle will continue for eternity till you loose hope... It's a pattern to scam money out of people... oh yes, did i forget that the wont refund or let you return the items. Worst customer service ever in the current world.

Showroom folks are great and somewhat knowledgeable. The real problem is with the delivery coordination team. They are terrible. It’s like the delivery coordinators are told to be rude and not helpful. Knowing what I know now, I would pay a little extra money and go to furniture fair.

The worst run company I have ever seen. I have called 5+ times, been told a tech would come, been told somebody would call me, been told a supervisor would call and NOTHING!!!! I spent over $6,000 and everything is falling apart within 4 weeks. Nobody cares. The tempurpedic mattress I bought is so dirty it looks like it fell off the back of the truck. My bed is splitting and completely falling apart. The nightstand drawer fell out. They are by far the worst company I’ve ever seen. I am a sales manager for a large company and have a very good understanding of how complaints should be dealt with. Ashley has done nothing. If I could post pictures here you guys would be shocked GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

We bought two chairs for over $2000 and was told it would be 5-7 week for delivery. At 4 weeks I sent an email and got no response even though I was told to use this means to communicate. At 5 weeks we called voice and was told it would be another 15-17 weeks so a total of 20-22 weeks for delivery. We told them this was not Acceptable and asked them to cancel our order. They assured us they would cancel and refund the $2k to our account. We were to expect an email confirmation i in 24 hours. We waited 2 days and nothing. Called back and the order had not been cancelled we again asked them to cancel the order and issue a refund and was informed that some ‘team’ had to do it and we now had to wait till the following Tuesday we called Friday). Avoid this place like the plague. They take your money and you have to fight to get it back

Estimated delivery date was 3 weeks off. They have no idea when they will get furniture if it's not in stock. Don't buy if you need anything within a certain timeline.

The best experience ina furniture store in a very long time. The salesmen were friendly and helpful without feeling like we were being stalked or pushed to buy something. Very easy going. Charles in particular helped me from making a huge mistake and purchasing a couch too big for my space. I will definitely be doing business with them again in the future.

Updated review: It's sad when you promise one thing and don't deliver and then hide behind excuses. COVID backlog and inability to lock in delivery dates has made this a horrible experience. I recommend you buy from somewhere that has what you want in stock and dont pay for delivery. Had a great experience.. Found what I was looking for and my salesperson (Charles) was very pleasant and made my purchase smooth and easy. Only drawback is there is a 6-8 week wait on delivery..so if your wanting something that day be prepared to wait.

We didn't purchase anything as we are still in a planning phase but there are an awesome selection of items here. The representatives were attentive and ready to answer questions and assist us.

New customer, bought sectional and ottoman last yr 2020 with an extended 5yr warranty. 2 of my cushions started coming apart at the seams within a yr. Called Ashley furniture, about damage, they sent me repair fabric dec2020 and scheduled a craftsman to come april 2021 due to covid. Craftsman comes out and is able to fix one cushion but not the other because they sent one of the wrong pieces. Called Ashley back and they tell me I need to wait til the craftsman puts his notes in. So I wait, and bout this time, my manufacturer warranty is up and extended warranty is in effect. They tell me I need to call a different company (gbs)for my extended warranty (was never told about this company or given any contact information about them regarding my warranty date of purchase. So the whole time I thinking my extended warranty is with Ashley. I call the other company and they denied my claim to fix my furniture because the damage wasn't reported within 30 days of incident. This is the first time I'm told about the other company gbs, first time I'm being told that damages have to reported within 30 days of incident. When I purchased from Ashley, Ashley failed to provide the extended warranty information and now the other company want me pay for the damages myself, even though I STILL have a warranty with them

Very upset by being lied to about when I would receive my couch. I went in there in April and bought a sectional. I was told it would be delivered in 2 month which is already a long time to wait for it especially when I needed a couch that day. I called the other day because its been 2 months now and I'm wondering where my sectional is, I was told it wouldnt be ready inder the end of September!!!! Thats 6 months from when I bought it. And you cant get a refund unless you wanna lose out on 10% of the purchase price. I think this company is trying to scam me. How do i even know if I will ever get my couch. Dont shop here unless you can wait half a year or more to get your furniture

The process was easy and when the chairs to the dining room set wasn’t available, she assisted in locating other chairs in the store that would match and also wife would ultimately like as well. I had ordered a recliner & couch in Jan. Still hadn't received it in the month of May due to Covid . I cx my order & decided I really wanted it so I wanted to reinstate my order. Wasn't sure if this was an option, It was only on hold for 72 hrs., not completely cx. So glad they did this because I really liked & wanted it. I also purchased a mattress , Roy was so patient with me through it all , didn't pressure me, just did all he could listening & knowing what I wanted & the staff very friendly. Great store but didn't have what I wanted

Do not buy from them! Long detailed read. Excellent quality at a good price with friendly no pressure staff. We got a large bedroom suite with several pieces and the mattress, it was a little out of the budget but worth it for the quality and ease of purchase. I explained this and told them my budget. While they couldn't get to it, they did lower some prices and get us closer. Delivery in 6 weeks, hopefully that goes as smooth and enjoyable as the purchase. well...... Delivery took 6 months with NO contact from the store, NO updates, NO call backs, NO "service" after the sale. The nightstands did not fit and now we are getting different stories from the delivery team / store / corporate about returns or exhanges.....when we get anything. Mostly get ignored. (OVER A MONTH OF IGNORED CALLS AND E-MAILS NOW) This started excellent but has not continued that way, very frustrating SIX MONTHS. Luckily the furniture is beautiful and well built, because the service and customer care is neither!

Never buy from this company. They sell and deliver defective furniture and refuse to fix or replace. They sent a repair man out who told me he was going to recommend they replace that part of sectional. Ashley's says they have no record of that and refuse to answer my contacts.

I purchased a sofa in store and sales man said 6 weeks for delivery. I called back at 6 weeks to check on delivery date and was told another "9" weeks. They said they would waive the delivery fee, but I needed a sofa. So I canceled the order over the phone with rep at store location. She told me the refund would be back on my card in a week. Well it wasnt!!! Tried calling store numerous times and NO one answers, left a message no call back. Tried calling the customer service line no direct service..all automated. Poor customer service. Sales people need to be honest

I was in and out of the store, I knew what I wanted I just wasn’t sure which item. Dre took great care of me and he was swift. I walked in looking and walked out having paid for exactly what I wanted. Thank you all very much for making this so easy. And such an inviting and not nagging environment

We ordered a sectional in early February. Multiple associates at Ashley Furniture assured us they had the fastest shipping in the area. Each time I call to get an update I am given a different date. First it was early April, on Friday 4/2/21 it was April 16, today Tuesday 4/6/21 it's the end of May. Somehow I knew it wouldn't end up arriving within the time frame we were given. I have zero faith in Ashley furniture delivering our order anytime in the near future. The best they could tell me was they could wave the delivery fee, which doesn't make the continued delays any better. Honestly I just want our furniture and I wish I had listened to others that said don't shop here. We have no sofa and no realistic timeline of when it actually might come in. I'm ready to cancel the entire order and go somewhere else. I understand COVID has caused delays but this is unreal. I would much prefer a logical timeline and as a consumer make the decision that best suits my needs in selecting furniture. I can't help but feel this company deliberately misleads customers into purchasing with them knowing orders will be delayed WELL beyond the timeline they give. How is it even possible the expected delivery date could go from April 16 to the furniture not even arriving at the warehouse until late May in 4 days?!

Bought furniture a couple of months ago with the promise that the delivery would be between 4 to 8 weeks. After 10 weeks they called to tell me say I should get my furniture by the end of the month. Yesterday I called and they said my furniture would take at least 8 more weeks and I shouldn’t expect it until after june. I’m more then disappointed to know I’ve spend somewhere around $ 7 K and I haven’t even receive a call or email with an apology for the insane delay.

I feel really frustrated with this place. My original experience was ok ,but getting our furniture has been an big issue. To be frank I feel kinda lied to. They told us they would be getting us a little bit of our furniture at a time. We was also told ,they would be setting up a bed frame for us. None of that has happened. The dates where really far off from what we were told and we made it clear we probably wouldn't purchase if the dates where to far off. Seeing as how about every other competitor around them had faster dates. I find this expically frustrating because the short floor sales guy told us how all these other companies that sold furniture where dishonest about the time frame that there furniture would arrive on. Yet, this company is the only one that has seemed to be very dishonest about there time frame. I feel like the dishonesty to sell your product is absolutely terrible.

Charles was a Great Salesman. Professional, courteous and knowledge about the product and process. Showed an interest regarding what we were looking for.

Saleswoman was nice and kind. Her name was Tammie. She helped out where she could, I grabbed what I needed, and I am now waiting for the order to be shipped and delivered.

I ordered furniture in January, sales associate said we should have everything delivered by February. I’ve called numerous of times, I get a different date of delivery every time I call. It’s now the end of March, half my ordered is supposed to be delivered next week, now there saying the rest of the order will not be here until the end of April. It will be FOUR months since we ordered. I ordered accent furniture by the same designer online through Ashley and received it all within three weeks. I also ordered furniture from Louisville Overstock and had it within week. The only way to find out anything about the order is to call. No email updates, no tracking, nothing. If you want your furniture delivered in a timely manner I would not shop here.

Made an order over a month and a half ago, was promised anything by the reps! Told them I would be moving into a new house in the next month and they said no problem it will all be perfect and worked out by then! Empty promises is all I have gotten since the day of my purchase! I’ve been sleeping on the floor for 2wks now because they did not fulfill their promises to my family! Now, while still trying to figure out where everything is they won’t return phone calls, or make things right for my order! Last I heard from management just because had to drive to the store an hour away was it would be another month!!! This is sad! The rep did all they could just to get the sale! And the two pieces of furniture that was delivered had scratches and nicks all over! Very unhappy and still can’t get help!

Came to get a tempur pedic bed and king frame and Roy (salesperson)and Aaron (manager)were absolutely incredible!!!!!! They were both super understanding, attentive and even stayed later just to make sure we were taken care of. A couple years back I would’ve never suggested anyone go to Ashley and because of these two I will ALWAYS come back here to finish furnishing our home. Thank you for making furnishing our home such a great experience!!! Make sure you visit and ask for Roy you won’t be disappointed I guarantee it !!

I ordered a sectional in November and it’s halfway through March and I haven’t received my order. They changed the delivery date like 4 times, literally. And they didn’t update me so I had to call every time it didn’t arrive on the day they ‘promised’. I have a friend who also ordered the same time as us but received theirs months ago. A lady that answers the phone is rude always saying “it is what it is, i can’t do anything about it.” I’m sure you can at least inform one customer for updates. Overall experience is very stressful and order your furniture somewhere else if you need it soon.

The five star review I am leaving is due to the nature of my experience with the sales associate Charles Hardin. He is so patient, relaxed and informative. Charles went above and beyond to help me purchase a bedroom set and sectional without adding pressure to the sale process. Ashley provided a great product but I might have purchased elsewhere if it hadn’t been for the experience Charles provided. Update: Can I say that as thankful as I am for the experience we had with Charles that shopping at Ashley will no longer be an option for us? Having a great experience with the sales associate only accounts for maybe 10% of the process in actually getting the product into your home and having the satisfaction of the product being quality. We ordered a queen size bedroom suit in March: bed, two night stands, dresser with mirror and a chest. This was their top of the line furniture. We had a partial delivery of bedroom furniture at the end of June for the chest, two night stands and dresser (no mirror) of this delivery the dresser had two drawers that would not open properly, a crack on the face of the dresser and other damage. One nightstand had a two very noticeable chips on the face it and the chest had one drawer that didn’t open properly. A tech came to replace the tracks on one drawer in the chest. A month later we received the bed and mirror for the dresser- these appeared in good condition despite being told we had a delivery scheduled only to receive a call a week later to “schedule the delivery” that was supposed to be arriving the next day. Currently I still have two damaged pieces of furniture and no indication of when they will be replaced. I am now waiting on two oversized chairs for the living room and no longer can contact customer service as that option has been removed. Now that all calls have to be directed in store I will see if I can get anyone to answer my call. In the past this line was never answered and my only option was to call customer support. Beyond Charles help there has been challenges every step of the way. We have been given so many different and unfulfilled delivery windows. Ashley is just a hassle. Shop local friends. Pay more and actually get good customer service and possibly furniture off the showroom floor. Dealing with ashley for 4-5 months is just not worth it.

Poor customer service. I purchased a bedroom suite from Ashley's and it broke within the first year. It was under warranty and they came to repair it. The tech glued the bed frame and secured it with duct tape ( Hindsight I should not have accepted that service) I was told if this did not hold they would order me a new headboard. I trusted what I was told and figured I would see if his repair would work. Approximately a year later the bed broke at the same spot. Now I'm being told it's out of warranty and they will not fix it. I did buy the extended warranty but it does not cover this. They should have repaired the bed correctly to begin with. They also will not return my phone calls at the local store. I have also emailed the President of the company with no response.I will never do business with this company again. If you need repairs make sure it's done correctly or you may get burned like I did. Update: Still no assistance from this company.

At this store people are really rude and no customer friendly . They will help you to order your product but after you paid is final and they will no help you if you have an issue either delivery issues or if have trouble with your furniture you will need to call several departments to get help . Is very frustrated and very unfriendly people at the store if you need help after the purchase .

I came to this location last week to look at mattresses and immediately was pressured to buy a tempur pedic and I gave in to the pressure and got a quote (this will be important later) for how much I would pay a month and I did not have time to discuss it anymore that day so I left and they said they would save the quote. I then decided not to get something from the store because I found something that would work better for my budget, I then check my credit karma app and email to see a credit account or credit card was opened when I NEVER AGREED TOO and never even followed up with my initial visit in the first place. I am very very mad

I've been waiting on my bedroom furniture since the end of November and apparently it's going to be at least another 2 weeks. All I get is the run around and different answers everytime I call. One week they are ready to deliver my furniture, I setup an appointment ( so I was told) to have it delivered, turns out I was never scheduled. And suddenly my headboard isn't in stock nor is one of my dressers. I find it VERY odd that a company would send the side rails and footboard, but no headboard. Basically, they sold my headboard....so here I am still waiting after 3 months!!

In early November of 2020, my wife and I decided it was time to replace our couch. We looked at several places around town and finally settled on Ashley due to their selection and familiar name, and we purchased a sectional and opted to pick up the furniture instead of the "White Glove Delivery." Due to Covid, we were told that it would not be available until early January 2021. Based on others' experiences, we had expected this. We put down a sizable deposit and patiently waited. On January 7th I received a call notifying me that my furniture was available to be picked up from the warehouse. So far, so good! I rented a trailer from the hardware store and went to pick up our couches. They directed me to the dock bay where I could pick them up, and the warehouse associate wheeled them out and helped me orient them on the trailer. I arrived home and my teenage son and I muscled the set up the stairs and assembled them without much difficulty--for the most part. When it came time to assemble the loveseat, the directions called for a hardware package of two bolts that were nowhere to be found in the packages. Together we spent about 30 minutes retracing our 20 or so steps from the driveway to the living room and tearing apart the boxes. No hardware. On the 8th I called Ashley and was directed to corporate customer service. I explained the situation and was assured that a hardware pack would be ordered and delivered to my address. I waited nearly two and a half weeks with no delivery, no correspondence from Ashley, center piece of my couch sitting in the floor because it could not be bolted to the rest of it. On the 25th I called back to see if there were any updates and was told that the representative that ordered the parts neglected to tell me that the pieces were expected to be delivered between February 5th and the 15th. Not a big deal, I know shipping is running slow these days and lots of folks are probably calling agitated about the slower speeds. So I wait. February 5th comes and goes; so does February 15th. Between those dates we experienced a snow and ice storm, so I allowed for a little more time due to the unforeseen circumstances. After the ice melted and mail resumed, I called customer service again on the 24th. This time the representative did a fair amount of digging and reading through notes, and determined that there was not a hardware pack that could even be ordered; he was unsure what his coworkers had attempted to do because the loveseat was packaged and sold as a unit and could not be split. He spoke with his supervisor and they offered me an exchange of the entire loveseat. The caveat? I would have to bring the furniture back to the warehouse and trade it out. I explained that all I needed were two bolts, and that that was too much of a hassle to disassemble it and bring it back to the warehouse. I asked if they would be able to deliver the new unit and take away the old, to which he replied that I would have to go to my local store, have the sales associates change the order to "White Glove Delivery" and pay $300 for delivery because "it has to be delivered the same way it was the first time." I politely let him know that this was unacceptable, and asked if it were possible to just take the hardware out of another unit in the warehouse. Again, this was "not possible." So now I've paid $3500 for a couch and loveseat that I'm going to have to go to Home Depot and try bolts out until I find the correct length and pitch to mount this piece securely to the couch as the directions indicate. This was my first experience with Ashley Homestore and will be my last. I cannot recommend anyone give this company their hard-earned dollars. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Time will tell about the quality of the furniture, but it's going to have to become sentient, get a job, and start making me money hand over fist before I'd entertain the idea of recommending this company to anyone else.

bad delivery service, I waited almost two months for my order and when I got a piece of furniture the drawers did not work, I keep waiting for them to come to repair it, they have bad service and bad communication with the customer, they sold me a sofa bed and never arrived, I went to see what happened with my order and they told me that they no longer hade the sofa and that they did not know why the seller had sold that sofa to me, I am very disappointed with that furniture store, I definitely do not recommend it!

Absolutely terrible. Will never again buy from Ashley. Bought and paid for my furniture in December and still have yet to receive. My wife is 8 months pregnant and we have no furniture in our new home. Every time I call the delivery date is pushed out even further. They have done nothing to resolve the issue. Do not recommend them at all. Customer service is horrible. No one answers the phone in the actual store. Just terrible.

This is one of the worst furniture experiences I have ever had. I was told the delivery would be Friday, Friday came and the delivery arrived, but the color was not the color we ordered - the sales rep had put in the wrong color code when ordering. So we called the store and got a customer service rep would said someone from the store would contact us urgently in 2-3 hours. The time frame came and went and I never heard from anyone. Mind you - we have a company coming in Monday to take away our old furniture and there is no refund for that. So I call back and get customer service again and they said 10 - 30 minutes I should hear from someone. It is now an hour past that time and I still have not heard from anyone, no idea what’s going on with my furniture, when the new delivery will be, nothing. Very terrible customer service, very irresponsible company and sales reps, I will never purchase here again and I highly discourage anyone else from doing so either.

My wife ordered furniture from the store and the sales man sent the wrong color of furniture. We had already had our old furniture taken away. So now we have a empty living room. To say the least I was very angry. Also @dsghome.com is not a valid email.

UPDATE ***** I emailed my order information like the reply from dsg asked still no refund, no call back no tv stand no nothing. .......Ordered a TV stand from the store by Jefferson mall. Set up a delivery date and was told by sales associate that a PERSON would call to set up a delivery window a couple days before. What I received was an automated phone call with a preselected time frame late in the evening two nights prior. I called customer care the next morning now the day before delivery. Was told they could cancel it but not reschedule it because my stuff was already loaded on the truck. What? That makes no sense so basically we just wasted several hundred dollars for nothing and the representative is rude and we have no tv stand that we paid for. Cant get through to the store so I call customer care again and she refuses to give her name or let me speak with someone in charge but says she will send a message to the store and hangs up. So I send a text message to the store for someone to respond but no one will pick up a phone to actually speak to me, but supposedly they are working on it 🙄 never again will I purchase from this place worst customer service ever! At this point it just feels like they are in the business of taking peoples hard earned money.
