Ashley Store Louisville, KY

This review is my opinion and my experience with Ashley Home Store. Our whole ordeal with this company and the Store by Jefferson Mall was nothing but unprofessional. We were told things by the salesman that were not true. Almost a month later I am still waiting on a return call from the store manager Aaron Harris. Our salesman was supposed to cancel the order since what we were told was not true, we are still getting calls wanting to schedule delivery. I talked to probably 6 people in the customer service department that was no help. After talking to someone that works at another Ashley store we found out that we were being highly overcharged on delivery and their warranty. Checked around with other companies and their delivery and warranty totals what Ashley wanted for just delivery.. I knew from talking to people and reading reviews that they were high and bad customer service. I understand also you can't believe all of the reviews out there on BBB and other well known sites, but unfortunately we found out it was true. Now we are without any bedroom furniture since we gave away our old and thought after multiple broken promises that we would have some from Ashley, but it wasn't to be.

Salesman Tom was a great advisor very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. A+

Mr. Roy Logsdon greeted us as we entered the store and was most helpful in our finding the exact chair I came looking for at what I believe a very fair price. Thanks to Mr. Logsdon we had a most excellent experience.

Charles was very helpful and we found some great stuff for the house

I ordered a bed frame on 12/11th (Wednesday) and I was scheduled for a delivery on Saturday 12/21st (2024). My card was charged a few days after I made the purchase online. Then a day before the delivery, the money was put back on to my debit card. I thought I would be charged the day of the delivery or right after the delivery. And the day after the delivery on 12/22, I was emailed that my card had been charged for the full amount of the bed frame and the delivery and set up. That didn’t bother me but it was inconvenient for me. However they didn’t charge me when they sent the email. And I ended up being charged later on Monday December 23rd the day before Christmas Eve for a purchase I made on December 11th. That is my biggest complaint. Just take the money off the debit and then stop going in and out of my account making unauthorized charges. When things like this are done, there is so much room for fraud and or stealing. I’ve had terrible experiences with stores that do this and they did steal. This Ashley Furniture experience happened during the holidays with Christmas shopping and bonuses from two jobs and or rewards so it was very inconvenient. Imagine paying on the 11th and then having money added on the day before delivery only to be charged on the 23rd. Money taken out, put back in and then taken out a day after I was said to be finally charged. I would recommend people go into the store to purchase the furniture because then maybe the debit card won’t be used without your authorization after the initial purchase. I brought the same frame from about her furniture store and because I walked into the store and purchased it, my money always taken once.

Went shopping for a new mattress at Ashley’s. 1st day I went by myself and was helped by Trey and Colin. 2 very nice young men. They explained a lot of the benefits of each mattress and were very helpful. I pretty much knew what I wanted that day. However I wanted my husband to come and check the different mattresses out too. We met with Kimberly on this day and she must have had a phd in knowledge of all the different brands of mattresses and what their features were. I am happy that they were able to listen to both of our needs and recommend what we needed. Kimberly was very helpful with our purchase. I can’t wait to get them and get a good nites sleep.

The process was easy. Our salesperson was friendly and informative. We are very pleased with the quality and price.

By your mouth start it out good and then I didn't realize I was told we would get 15% off of our purchase and I got home and got to looking at the paperwork and it wasn't applied and I have tried to get a hold of the person that worked with a couple times no response so I doubt very seriously if I will go back to Ashley

We love asley Furniture we came in after 5 pm Friday December 6th , and the guy stayed late to wait on us. He was awesome, he gave me a fantastic deal and deserve an employee award . I bought the Gray Table and 6 chairs and the Gray couch. I am so excited to get my furniture and I cannot wait.

RUN! Would give zero stars if I could. The only reason I am doing this review is to maybe prevent other people from going through what I went through. I spent four months trying to get the furniture that I ordered. The furniture arrived broken, and they tried to pretend like it was not. Then the wrong pieces were sent. Then we had to accept‘s because the ones that we ordered were no longer made. The entire process was a complete nightmare. Please go anywhere else to buy furniture. I hope this review will save one person the agony I went through with this company.

A very good option to get just what you need.

Kimberly was the sales associate I worked with and she was great!! I found the perfect couch for my dad and it was delivered the next week. The moving crew were great and the couch fit perfectly!!

Went to 6 different furniture stores and came back here. Ashley has the best selection in my opinion. They also have a store in J town that has a clearance section. The manager Kollin was very helpful and nice and didn’t hound you or stalk you like some other stores do.

Our sales associate Heather was very helpful. I will ask for her the next time I need anything else.

Patrick was wonderful. We went in with an idea of what we wanted, he listened and then showed us 3 options. We have speed at ashley furniture for over 20 years and we'll continue to do so.

It was ok. Found a table and chairs I liked, of course the price posted on the table and chairs was wrong. First we found out that it was for different chairs than the display. Then we figured out that it was for a whole different table too. Someone had put the price posting on the wrong table (I would assume on purpose to get your attention) and they wouldn’t honor the price so that was a pretty bad experience all around. They didn’t even apologize or seem concerned, said “it happens all the time” and shrugged 🤷‍♀️. So be aware that the prices don’t match what is on display. Also, the prices listed on their website are cheaper than what is listed in store. Then you are told that “you are getting a savings” 🤦‍♀️

Beware this location if you cancel any orders they won’t refund your money right away it’s been almost a week and I’m still waiting for it to get off my Ashley credit card so I can purchase other items. Even the other location thought that was crazy they do this to people. Go to the other Ashley store they will take care of you and they won’t pull any shenanigans on you! Please refund me so I can purchase other items! Thank you 🙏

I feel the sales man Roy really listened to me & exactly what I was looking for. He was not pushy at all, no claims to this is the last day for this sale/ discount. Price was very fair & i feel we selected a set of quality made furniture.

If I could give zero starts to Ashley Furniture for customer service I would! No matter what number you call, it's all virtual and hard to get assistance. The number for the store goes right to the call center. I ordered online and the first part of my order was delivered to the correct address. The items I purchased in the store, over $7K in furniture, the delivery address was changed by their system. It took me hours to get it corrected and it was blamed on the store. Now the remaining items I ordered online are being delivered to an incorrect address so here we go again! It's difficult to actually speak to someone. Gone are the days of good customer service. Will NEVER purchase from Ashley again! What a nightmare!

Very happy with the product (a great couch) in the end but the process to get it could’ve been smoother. Heather, who helped me in store with purchasing my couch inputted both my email and my phone number incorrectly so I had to go through support to have them fix my number in order to receive text updates and confirm the delivery. Heather also told me I’d have multiple options to choose what time the couch would be delivered but when the day arrived the only gave me one time frame and I couldn’t choose. She was very nice but should’ve confirmed my information to save me trouble. I will say their support was extremely helpful and quick to solve my issue.

I was shopping for a oversized recliners because I'm a big guy! I was going to go to lazy boy and buy one... Then I met Trey! He showed me several recliners and gave me knowledge of them. With his help, I found the perfect recliner. I'm Team Ashley when it comes to buying furniture (Now)! I got the perfect recliner, from a great sales rep at a right price. Disappointed because I told the salesman that I did not want to wait a month for my furniture and the delivery date is over a month I was lied to he told me delivery would be 10 to 14 days,and I’m having surgery this month

Bought a lifting coffee table and paid $540 for a 5-year protection plan. The spring mechanism on the lift suddenly detaches from the wood so I call to make a claim and “only cosmetic issues are covered” Update: I did contact the number in the attached reply. They told me that that was correct that the policy only covered cosmetic issues but here’s a website where I can order replacement parts for my table. So apparently they’re aware they break and are using it as a way to make more money. 🥴

Shane Sharpe was literally the most helpful and pleasant person I’ve ever dealt with in a retail environment. I will always come back to Ashley and ask for him anytime I have future furniture needs!

We recently relocated and needed to replace some major home furnishings. After looking around and not really finding what we were looking for we decided to stop into Ashley Furniture in Louisville. I was treated immediately and to my surprise I was able to acquire everything we needed at one stop. Our salesman, Michael was friendly, courteous and professional. He had lots of helpful hints as we made our decision but, he was never pushy. I'm pleased with the quality of our purchases and this was a great shopping experience. Thank you!

I just bought a king size bed from them. And footboard was completely unfinished. Installers saw this said nothing. Barely speakers English. Went to store 3 times and called there crappy 800 complaint line to file claim and it’s a joke. Talked to mgr once. Got no where, everything I go up joined available to help or replace this. I will never shop at this company ever again. And I’m filing a BBB complaint on this fraudulent company. They sure took my money fast though!

This is my first time purchasing from Ashley and it will be my last. First impressions were great but the salesman, I think his name was Trey, clearly lied just to land the sale. I told him my situation, how I needed something asap, he seemed very helpful and told me we would look at options that are readily available. He told me my furniture would be delivered Tomorrow 7/11, but when I never received a confirmation text I decided to call the fulfillment center. They told me it has to be scheduled next week, that it was never available this week, and WORD FOR WORD I was told “the sales team will say this so they land the sale.” Despite being very frustrated I schedule it for next Tuesday 7/16. The confirmation text, however, tells me next Wednesday 7/17. So I call again, and I am told it has to be Wednesday. For all I know I’ll never get my furniture. TLDR: don’t let nice salesman like Trey or a pretty sales floor fool you, Ashley Furniture only wants your money regardless of the circumstances.

Horrible experience all around. Took weeks to get a refund and they “lost” the warranty that I paid for, emailed my receipt several times and made several phone calls before I was refunding my money for a loveseat that was never delivered.

Terrible. I ordered delivery and they claimed I wasn’t home said that they knocked on the door which they did NOT. The couch was supposed to arrive between 8-11:30 they showed up at 11:26 and sat there getting paid across the street for 13 minutes. Watched me move my car and left while I was parking. Called 3 times in 1 minute and left in 13 minutes. I tried calling and texting within that time only to be forwarded to a call center.

My husband and I were looking for a specific duel electric sofa given we both have back pain. We traveled 30 miles from southern Indiana to check out a sofa we found online yet were advised that it was Not there and that they had No control of what was available on the floor. The only way we could see that specific sofa was to order it online and we refused because you truly have to sit on a sofa to know if it fits your body and has the back support we were looking for. Charles, the sales associate was very nice and helpful and did assist us in locating a sofa right away. He was professional and helped get us a discount to offset the cost to keep it within our price range so all in all we were happy with our purchase. We are looking forward to the delivery in 3 days which is sooner than expected so that makes up for the initial issue listed above.

Bought the couch and furniture warranty from Ashley furniture. Couch is 1yr 8 months old. Warranty company says rip in fabric not covered after dealing with them for 6 weeks Joseph Herbert said warranty company would cover anything.Ashley furnIture said Joesph Herbert only a salesman and he can't help you .Warranty company recommended 2 of their furniture repair companies and they told us they only repair furniture that's been approved by warranty company so what do do with a $2000 couch that you thought would be covered by warranty.Ashley furniture says it has nothing to do with warranty company and has been no help whatsoever in helping us figure this out.When I call nobody wants to talk to us or give any information that might help.I just don't understand Ashley furniture customer service ,I just want to know what to do to get some help my couch I do not think this is asking to much Ashley Furniture. I was somewhat indifferent about what I wanted or if I wanted anything. She explained all styles of fabrics and patiently showed me a variety of sectionals. I knew when I found what I wanted it would obvious. Process was simple. None stressful. I enjoyed the Temper-Pedic experience also-very well.

We had a great experience purchasing furniture at Ashley's. But trying to get a repair done on a recliner motor was like pulling teeth. Eventually, we just gave up and had the repair performed by a private contractor. We will now purchase non moving items from Ashley.

I initially wrote a good review. But before my furniture was delivered, my experience turned bad. When we were buying the furniture, we were getting emails about a memorial Day sale. I asked Heather if we could get the sale and she said yes and later, she said we could get free delivery. When the furniture didn’t arrive on time I called the sales lady Heather to find out why. I called her on her personal cell phone that she had given me because she said you couldn’t get a hold of the store directly. I found out later they don’t answer the phone. They let the calls go to a call center. She said she would check into it and get back with me. She never did and I could never get a hold of her again so I kept calling and I got the call center and they said that the reclining chair was on backorder and that was the hold up, but they knew nothing about the memorial day sales price or the free delivery. I finally called and talked to a man and I was going to cancel the order and he asked me to let him contact the store manager so that he could call me and straighten everything out.. He called me back and said the manager was going to talk to Heather and they would call me. They never called me so I canceled the order. And I went to Value City Furniture and got a better deal on similar furniture. Ashley has awesome furniture but the sales people and the way they run the store is horrible. I would take my business elsewhere if I were you. Ashly experience put us in a horrible bind and we almost lost financing because of them. I would never recommend Ashly to any of my friends or family. If I could give them, no stars I would.

My wife and I purchased two recliners this past Sunday. There was no sales pressure just was told about different options to purchase and Memorial Day sale. Only downside was we have to wait for 5 to 10 until they will be available for pick up. But we were okay with the availability. Thanks Patrick for your help…. Bill&Jenney Stoltz

Hello just purchased a dining room set and the young man that waited on me was more than helpful. He was very friendly and knowledgable about questions I had. And he explained very thoroughly about what the next steps would be in getting my items delivered. I highly recommend his service. I will be returning to purchase other furniture and hope he will still be working there.

Many vendors were not polite ..I walked in the store and was greeted by the 5th salesman. I do understand that they work on a rotation..but saying HI or good morning is not gonna kill them..

Update: thank you to one of the managers he got the wedge on order and should arrive in a week Went into the store and placed a order for a beautiful sectional couch back in February 2024 and after 3 months I get my order to find out the sales man never ordered the wedge piece that ties the sectional together, so now I'm in limbo waiting once again in hopes this gets corrected sooner then later. At this point I will never shop at Ashley's again.

Absolutely don’t recommend buying anything from here. I got a whole set of bedroom furniture just over a year ago and the bed frame has broken to where it can’t be slept on and has been this way for over a week and noone has helped us. I purchased a $500 protection plan and after waiting to hear from them as well they said that’s not covered. These products are junk and the customer service is a joke.

Mr.Charles LISTENED to me. He took into consideration my budget and helped me find the mattress I needed for my particular situation. I will be glad to work with him again.

She helped quite a bit with showing me what they had at the store and I finally settled for something I wanted. I can’t wait to get my new living room suit and kitchen table.

People in the store were amazing but the warehouse or the people that get all the pieces of the furniture you want together my husband and I are having issues with. We have now had them tell us our sectional would be here on two diffrent dates and we orderd our sectional about 2 months ago (yes we where told we will have a delay fo 6 weeks for 2 items which i believe are the armless chairs) The first time they rescheduled the delivery they said they still needed to get 2 of the armless chairs and now they are saying that the loveseat isn't in. So when they rescheduled the first time the love seat was in but now it's not so what happened to it these last 2 weeks.now they said the love seat won't be in until the 17th of April which is a joke. Come on Ashley's get your stuff together

We just recently moved to a condo, we bought some new furniture for our new digs. The furniture is wonderful, and our sakes rep, Charles, was helpful, informative and reasonably priced!. Our Ashley experience was first rate!

Greeted at the door. Although she was helping another guest she contacted someone to help me. Because I had completed my research online the process was quick and easy. Everyone was friendly and I loved that the staff referred to me as a quest.

I am satisfied, especially the reception was very good, it made me want to come back tomorrow for another purchase.

I worked with Patrick Murphy. He greeted me when he saw me and let me roam around until I found what I was looking for instead of hovering over me; which I’m grateful for and would have given him a 6th star if it was available just for that. He helped me look for my bar stools and made sure they were in stock. (The first ones I wanted were not, so this was also a plus.) Before I bought my furniture, he highlighted the protection plan for me since I have a 5, almost 6 year old that might make the plan very necessary. I’m super excited about my purchase and can’t wait for the delivery. I chose a day I’d be at home versus the next day delivery option.

I would not purchase anything from this company. COMEDY OF ERRORSall the way. We were given incorrect delivery dates from the beginning which was a sign I should have paid attention to:1. Could not get sofa and ottoman delivered at first for 2 months, Then they offered couch could be picked up sooner and ottoman picked up a month later. We were then told another ottoman was found and they would deliver for free a week later. Ottoman that was delivered I made the intake of signing for before I unpacked, found defect in fabric Ashley would not take it back and only offered to have it recovered. We could not get an appointment tent for over month later, that was then res healed due to their issue another month later.2. We purchased the set in July and the whole mess took us till October to get serviced. Reopholster job was terrible but I was tired of fighting. 3. Now that we have been using the set for less than six months thefabric pills constantly and it has to be fabric shaved weekly. Set is very bad quality for $1,500. I will not be pur having from them again and you should not either.

Still waiting for my refund on furniture that couldn’t be delivered until January brought in November to have by Christmas kept changing the date but would definitely not have it by Christmas so canceled the order to go somewhere else that I could get by Christmas put down half the the money so needed a refund. That was December 12/11/23 have called many times and they keep telling me it’s on way. Would love if someone from company could contact me because I haven’t been able get anywhere.

We previously bought 2 recliner couches about 2 years ago, one manual and one electronic, both are excellent couches and are used everyday. Recommend Shane as a salesperson! I went in on a cold and rainy night, and Kim greeted me. She didn’t make me feel like I was being sold to. She just answered my questions which made me trust her and I bought the piece a day later. Kim was very informative and an excellent sales person. I live 45 minutes away from the Ashley store. There’s a large selection of furniture at the Ashley’s Furniture at Jefferson Mall in Louisville. Our sales associate (Lauren) greeted us and allowed us to walk through the store without being overbearing. However, she was readily available to answer questions.

The consultant was very helpful when we were looking for a love seat. She pointed out aspects of the couches we may have missed. She was willing to work with us on the price and other costs.

I went in acouple weeks ago talk to patrick and was told they would price match louisville overstock for the same furniture to get it there. I went back today with the intent to buy the furniture but was told by Charles they wouldn't match it and to buy it from them and I had a dinette that was from a store online that was told they won't price match any store that not brick and mortar. I informed him it was brick and mortar and was told well that just what the say but won't price match and that isn't in louisville. The dinette was the arkenton and I was trying to get 1399.99 which is what he said he couldn't match and the closest he could do was 1575. But the Ashley website shows the same dinette with table, bench, and 4 chairs for 1399.99. The bedroom was about 1500 more expensive here for the same items. I was looking at getting the bedroom set chest and extra night stand. I wouldnt recommend this location because of this.

I never leave reviews for places but this has been a complete nightmare. First off, the staff and the salesmen we talked to was absolutely amazing. Which makes it suck that I have to give one star. I would not recommend getting ANYTHING delivered to your house if you purchase it from them. My MIL brought us a kitchen table and 4 chairs about 2 weeks ago. They were supposed to be delivered yesterday between 9am and 12 am. They ended up coming closer to 12:30, which isn't horrible. But they didn't "have the chairs on the truck." So we only got the table. We were told they got put on another truck by the delivery drivers and the women I called from Ashley furnitures number. They were supposed to come at 2. Well they never showed up. I got a message with pictures of the table in our garage and the chairs at someone else's home and a signature that wasn't mine saying that got delivered. I called back AGAIN and was told they would send a recovery team out to get the chairs and they would be delivered. When I asked a time, they couldn't provide one and when I asked to speak to someone who could give me more information they said "they only chat online with people. They don't have phone numbers." Well surprise, surprise they never showed up yesterday. I got a phone call around 7pm from the delivery guy saying they would be by to drop them off at 10 today. Nobody showed. My husband called at 12:30 and a women was chatting online with her manager and was supposed to give him a call right back. Well nobody called. So he called AGAIN at 2:30. He was told the chairs were on a truck about 3 hours from our house but we are supposed to get them today. I'm sure we won't. We will probably never see those chairs and at this point if they don't come, I will make sure my MiL gets a refund for them. I'm just so disappointed with this process and frustrated with how little information we have been provided. Just pick up whatever you purchase from them please. It really isn't worth the headache.

The service was wonderful until delivery. My first delivery was supposed to be Dec.2. When I didn’t hear from the delivery people, I called and was told both of my deliveries were to be on Jan. 6 I specifically told the salesman that I wanted the Alasaundra delivered on Dec. 2. Needless to say, I was very disappointed that I had to wait another week and change other appointments around to make the delivery work on Dec. 6.

I very rarely provide feedback on retail experiences; however, I would like to help those I care about avoid a similar experience with Ashley HomeStores of Louisville. We went on Black Friday (11/24) and purchased 4 items as follows:1. An accent table that was discontinued and they let us take it that day. Great table, we love it.2. Two lamps. Gets interesting here. We provided our billing and home address assuming that's where they would send the lamps. Funny story...we bought something there a few years ago, and they sent the lamps to another address about 100 miles way. No worries...we'll eventually get there and pick them up.3 & 4. An end table and shelves. They promised these could be picked up directly from the warehouse on 521 Industry Road in Louisville the following day. We showed up. You guessed it. The items were not there. No worries. Everyone makes mistakes, right? We came back on 12/1 to pick up the "boxes." Yep...sealed boxes. Both items required assembly. You know I have wicked...Okay, mediocre...skills with tools, so I could absolutely put legs on an end table and assemble a set of shelves, right!?Unfortunately, when I opened the boxes, the shelves were severely damaged. We called the store, but they said there was nothing the could do and gave us a customer service number. We called that number, and although the customer service representative was super polite, she shared they have a no return, exchange or refund policy. That's cool, right? Except they sold me a broken item. The item was in a sealed box in multiple pieces. Each piece individually wrapped. I was asked why I didn't open the box at the warehouse after they loaded it onto my truck and inspect each piece. Huh? Are you serious?Long story short, I'm out $420+ for shelves that are damaged.Lesson learned: AVOID ASHLEY HOMESTORES OF LOUISVILLE. I'll eat the $420+ to save my friends and family from a similar experience.

Large, well lit showroom. Good selection of motion furniture. Service was top notch. Helpful, but not pushy at all!! She went above and beyond to get our unused warranty refunded to us. Service deserves 5 stars. The 4 stars are for: Building condition. Lots of the powered motion furniture had no power. The sales person had to trade out several of the power packs for us to test. The flooring is a train wreck and needs to be replaced. Furniture selection. No fault of the store, but I would love to see Louisville carry just a few more modern lines (like Joybird) Choices are often between modern farmhouse or bedazzled and mirrored.

The Louisville location has the BEST customer service of all the other Ashley’s around. They are quick to find answers and help you get the best deal you can. We live in Frankfort and are much closer to the Lexington branch but prefer the Louisville location because of their customer service!!

Here it is almost 12:30am and the delivery man is in the same exact spot he was in 4 hours ago and it’s now saying it will be delivered at 2am. $200 for “hassle free” and “premium” delivery. The communication has been ridiculous and if they ring my door bell this late and wake my son up I will be even more livid. Mind you it was supposed to be delivered between 1pm-4pm today.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. 1st they attempted to deliver my bed, they forgot the slacks so it was incomplete. Had to wait 24 hrs for a phone call to reschedule a delivery which was then several days later. 2nd attempt to deliver my bed. The delivery team had very poor communication and they were very rude. Called the delivery driver Juan O, 5+ times then on the final pick up he answered and hung up while I was talking. He seemed to not care and didn’t even try to deliver the furniture while I was sitting in my own home and he marked the order as incomplete. I received a text message saying I was 2nd in line, then the new text message was 1 hour away, then then the third text message was marked as arrived then incomplete. All these messages were sent in the matter of 5 minutes. DO NOT RECOMMEND, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, or you will be sleeping on a air mattress like me for weeks.

Update: our salesman messed up and charged us for the wrong item and we had to wait another 20 mi a for that to be fixed then the warehouse did not have the item as he said it would when we went to pick it up.

Our visit and purchase was extremely pleasant. De’Andre Smith, the young man that assisted us, was very nice and knowledgeable. There was no high pressure sales and he went out of the way to ensure we got whatever discounts we could. In fact the entire staff was pleasant. We have bought from Ashley’s before and we will again!

Please do yourself a favor and read the reviews as well as Facebook has an Ashley furniture complaint page that has nearly 5,000 members (what does that tell you?). Also check out the numerous complaints filed through the Better Business Bureau. I only wish I would’ve done this before I purchased from the store. They don’t care about the customer. They only care about your money. Once they get it, you are left to hold the bag with whatever comes your way and in our case it was not a good situation. Just do yourself a favor and research this company. There are much better more reputable places to buy furniture.

On 4-26-23 I purchased a new recliner. I’m so disappointed. You don’t sit in it, you sit on it. The set is so hard feels like plywood. So therefore, the lumpar is to high. I have a terrible back problem.and cannot sit on hard surfaces. I texted my saleswoman, with no response. I called the store ,put on hold . Finally I gave up. On 4-30-23 I came into store, talked with a gentleman, behind counter. He was very disconcerting. Told him I would like to exchange, no matter what I had to pay to purchase something more comfortable Gave me a phone number, with a code. I which was just a call center. Man had no idea what the code meant.so he took my complaint, said to call back, so I did. For 3days. On that day,said there’s nothing they could do..I’ve purchased furniture from Ashley’s. And love it. This chair isn’t up to standard. I’ve had two back surgeries. I can get doctors records. So please take my issue very seriously. I’ve sent a claim to BBB. And will continue to complain. Please consider my request to exchange

Worst customer care period at the Louisville, KY location. We bought a 8 chair dining room set but we were charged for 10, tried correcting the issue with the agent who returned my text on his day off and promised to solve the issue the next day. Next day came, couldn’t reach him, texted him, call the store, call the 800 #, nothing. The 800# customer care wouldn’t transfer me directly to the store either. So I call the same customer service # and cancel my $2900.00 order!

Furniture is good quality and customer service was great today!

I purchased the loveseat, the color and size were exactly as stated. 62-year-old female and getting it out of the box and unwrapped would be the most time-consuming part. The assembly was easy, the whole process took about 40 minutes. The instructions don’t really say a whole lot but pictures and looking at it you can figure it out pretty easily. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Not happy loveseat we purchased doesn’t recline and told them right after the delivery people left. They are wanting to send parts and fix it. Something I paid to be new not damaged then fixed. No Stars!!Horrible service after the sale. We just purchased a battery-pak from Ashley for our recliner. It didn’t charge and as we investigated it was because it was out-dated… expired! And they are selling them to customers and refuse to refund our money. When we contacted the manufacturer they informed us that they haven’t purchased any recently so they are selling expired batteries for $259 a pop,

This has been a terrible experience since we received the table and chairs. We have been told several things by several people and here we sit, still with no results. Calling the customer service number is pretty much worthless and that department needs some serious freaking help. I called 4 different times yesterday and someone new answered each time and believe it or not the call was disconnected with no return call from them. I should also mention that none of the 4 “ customer care agents” I spoke with were easy to understand and none spoke English very well which is frustrating alone trying to translate what they are saying. The store itself where we bought the furniture has been equally unhelpful and has yet to make our order right. Keep in mind this was delivered over a month ago and it arrived defected. The fact that we have had to call multiple times weekly with still no results is ridiculous alone. But also I have been contacted several times through email requesting pictures, which I sent with still no results. My advice would be to stay away from this store all together unless you want to deal with a headache for the next two months. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. This says a lot about my experience there especially since I rarely give negative reviews anywhere. Stay away. Very poor business practices.

BUYER BEWARE!! Purchased living room set, from the Jefferson Blvd, Louisville, KY store. The one piece was too wide for the space. Less then 24 hrs, after being delivered, I went into store and talked w/Dre, Asst Mgr. Explained the issue. Told him, I would pay the difference, "more money" for the smaller section because that would work perfectly. Dre, gave me the customer service number and informed me to give them a call. He explained the process that would take place. Shouldn't be a problem! Called customer service from their store. Individual I spoke with at customer service stated it was "my fault." They weren't responsible for that and that, they weren't going to do anything for me! Went back into store, talked w/Aaron, store manager. He told me, he was escalating it. Aaron stated, shouldn't be a problem since it's been less then 24 hours. I would hear something a couple of days. It's been a week, with no call back. Called this store 8 times.... With the exception of option 3, all ring options ring back into customer service. After hitting extension 3, the phone would ring "10" times, then would be disconnected.

It was great!! A very nice guy Pat helped us and he was awesome!! He didn't harass us and follow us around the store like all the others did. We got a great price on a kitchen table and are very pleased!! Can't wait to get it!! Definitely recommend!!👍 Thanks Pat

We bought a bed and living room furniture. The tempura-pedic bed was unpackaged and set up in twenty minutes. The adjustable base was not working day one and bed connector taken with delivery team. This store has done nothing to correct this issue so we canceled furniture order. Past selling they do care if you receive products that are working! BUYER BEWARE! Not a good store!

I think most of our first home is furnished by Ashley at this point. Since this past Thanksgiving we bought a new dining room set, living room sectional, our bedroom set, and last night our son's bedroom set. Buying from this store is way better because they usually have sales/discounts that aren't available online. The financing offered is usually more in store as well if you go that route for any purchase. Looking at all the furniture stores in our price range Ashley had the best quality and design choices hands down. Until we can afford somewhere like Arhaus, this is aur choice lol. The only thing I don't love is the high pressure commissioned sales tactic of the protection plans. It's irritating when you say a firm no that they ignore you and "call the manager to see what they can do about the pricing". Do not love that. Then they take money off the furniture set but only if you buy the protection plan. I really hate that, but I get that's more corporates fault for making that a necessary part of their paycheck. It's no different than any other high pressure sales tactic, it's just not something I expected the first time I wanted to just walk in and make a quick purchase. Other than that the employees are helpful and nice enough aside from the salesman stuff. We look younger than we are based on dress and behavior, so we often have people assume we don't have money for a large purchase, and they didn't judge us based on how we dressed since you can't judge a book by the cover with us at all. Love that. The delivery is a crazy cost as well when it should be free based on the price of the purchase. It's free during some promotions, and not others. Don't love that. Don't love all the super high costs of all the stuff normal people would need for a large purchase like this (size and cost). I know it's common practice though which is why online purchases are taking over. There's usually free shipping on the website though, so you'd have to consider the price between the two if you utilize the $350 approx delivery. That's without install or putting it together. That's at least another couple of hundred. Thankfully my husband and I own a 4x4 truck and he's very handy otherwise I probably would have purchased online for some of my purchases. We also got free delivery on the only purchase we used it for during a sale that offered it. That wasn't great. They kept postponing the delivery date and wouldn't let us switch to pick up. So lots of not great things from the corporate end, but it's still our choice for the best quality at the best price in Louisville. We don't buy from anyone else.

The bed was delivered in perfect shape and assembled. The mattress was the wrong size for the bed, I have my toddler asking me when the mattress will be here, that is so disappointing. I have been calling all day to speak with someone about when my mattress will be replaced, I can't connect to them.

Charles and Trey were very helpful and I would highly recommend either one of these gentlemen in assisting anyone in purchasing furniture.

Do not buy from the store. Buy online. We bought a table and chair set in store and then realize days later it's sold online, exact same thing for significantly cheaper (with more chairs included). We were told nothing can be done, our loss for not price checking online first. Had we noticed this before purchasing we were told they could have price matched but too late now. Not sure why the online price is not the same as in store. Very deceiving. Lesson learned here.

We have been waiting for at least a month for a replacement chair end table that was damaged. I have been told lie after lie about delivery and that the table is in the warehouse for delivery. I just got off the phone with the representative telling me it is in fact not at warehouse and we will can’t even expect delivery for 4 more weeks. We have been very dissatisfied with our dealings with Ashley and will not purchase any other items from Ashley. Not good business.

Purchased a matress through them. It lasted less than a month before the head of it started dropping. This is a spring mattress just so you know it wasnt foam collapsing. They set out a technician to measure it, which he had a homemade tool because he had left his at another home. They said they will not replace it due to not collapsing "enough" I wont ever spend another dime with these crooks who dont stand behind products they sell.

Worst decision I've made in a long time. Ordered and paid for furniture day after Thanksgiving and finally arrived 2/7 with a damaged cushion after being told originally it would be 1 month out. Personally had to go into the store to get an update on the delivery (I live over an hour away) and the manager said he would call with the details but never did. Damaged cushion will be replaced in 7 - 10 business days, I won't hold my breath. They offered to refund 10% of the purchase and I received $34.00 on a $1600 purchase, they cannot do math either. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company

Very simple very satisfying experience

I have bought two things from Ashley. The first time I bought a couch I got one of the cheaper ones there. The quality was horrible after a year. My thought process was “OK. Maybe it’s just because I bought the cheapest couch.” I bought another couch that was one of the most expensive couches in the store years later. The quality of that couch after a year is the fabric is ripping. It was extremely expensive for what I got. If you’re even a day over their warranty period of a year, they will not help you either. Horrible customer service and the quality is horrible. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

I used to buy a lot of furniture and accessories from Ashley- those days are over. I purchased a lamp recently- when I got it home and actually plugged it in, you could see huge stains on the shade that were not visible when the lamp was unlit. I realize you cannot return accessories to Ashley- but I was never informed that the items were "as is"...I didn't see this posted in the store, and that is not listed on my receipt. I certainly would have paid closer attention to the purchase had I known I was buying an "as is" item. I spoke to a very rude salesperson named Brian about this situation- and was immediately met with a bad attitude. I accept that I am stuck with a gross lampshade- but I do not accept people being rude when I am being pleasant. There are other places to spend my money- Ashley won't be getting any more from me. :(

Don't buy from them. They do nothing but lie. Bought the extended warranty on an expensive bedroom suite because the salesperson told us we would get our money back if we didn't use it. We didn't use it. Went to the store to get our refund & was told it was only a store credit & that we had to spend a minimum of $500 to be able use the credit. SCAM! Don't buy from Ashley. Go to Bob's discount furniture...beautiful store, great sales people & overall great experience. I'll never purchase from Ashley again. I even filed a claim with the BBB and Ashley still won't honor what their salesperson told us. Horrible company.

The great experience ends when you walk out of the door. We ordered a new section and bedroom suit and the sectional was the only thing we received not damaged in some way. When asked to return the bedroom suit the customers service agent stated that Ashley furniture doesn’t do return. We then had to fight tooth and nail with the agent that barely spoke English, in order to get someone to come out to repair/replace. Will update review come Monday. Last time we will ever do business with Ashley.

I very am disappointed with this place. We have purchased so much furniture from this company, and normally don't have issues. However, I purchased a sectional and a rug last year at this store, and the salesman talked us into adding on the protection plan for an additional $300. When I expressed concern over getting a lighter colored fabric due to having dogs, he informed me that the protection would include having our furniture cleaned as many times as we wanted within the 5 yr plan. So I went ahead with it. Not wanting to take advantage, I waited 9 months before trying to schedule. I was then told that it actually is not included, and I had been misinformed. They only do spot cleaning. I asked for a refund at that point, considering I knew I wouldn't use it. The man on the phone said he couldn't offer a refund over the phone, but we could get one if I went into the store. So after driving to the store and speaking with the customer service manager, she told me they had to put in a request for a call back. We should receive it within 48 hours. That didn't happen. So I called the number that she gave me to call if I didn't hear back- and when I called that, it went to voicemail with a full mailbox. Tried to call several more times with no response. Sorry this is such a long rant, but after all the money I have spent in that store over the last 5 years, I would expect a little more from them.

I purchased furniture 9 months ago my furniture/ couch for $7000 malfunctioned 6 months after receiving it customer service has been a nightmare no real results. I've yet to speak to a technician to repair my couch. they outsource the repairs so don't waste your time trying to get anything fixed help is not coming. I'm ten weeks in with an open chat with Ashley and still nothing . they claimed a part was ordered 11/1/22 and would be here at the end of November. guess who hasn't heard from Ashley furniture. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

I have come to this location several times for furniture. I had chosen what I was looking for online this time and was prepared to purchase using the 5 year finance option thinking it was no interest, but I know if you go into the store and pay cash you can get it at a cheaper price. So I go in talk to a sales person and tell them I want the finance price and the cash price so I can determine what route I want to take. To my surprise, the finance option came out to almost $1,000 more. I show the sales person the online price and he says he can price match. Great! Now what’s the cash price? Apparently that is the lowest price because they had to come down so much to meet the online price. Fine, I still want the furniture so we will go ahead and finance since it’s the same price. Then I find out 5 years is NOT interest free, only 1 year. Again I’m frustrated because the advertising is unclear. So again I continue and go with 1 year because I do not want to pay interest. The sales person puts it all together and comes back. At this point I find out that the delivery charge is $50 more than online and the protection plan is $250 more. I was close to walking out and just ordering online, but I really need the furniture before Christmas. The store says delivering in 2-3 weeks while online had a delivery date of December 26th. If my furniture doesn’t arrive before Christmas this will change to a 1 star. Moral of the story, if you find what you want online just buy it there and skip the sales person!

Initial visit went great then crashed, Even though Shane painted a beautiful picture it is turning into a dibalicale ,no return phone calls, wrong product at the warehouse and extention after extention on arrival of the most expensive piece. My mistake was to pay instead of finance.

I've been a patron to Ashley but that ship has sailed. We purchased a leather family set from Ashley 4 years ago and the extended warranty. 2 weeks ago the leather and the seat started falling apart and peeling. I contacted the warrant company and was told it did not cover the leather failing which make zero sense to me. I contacted Ashley directly and at 1st told don't worry we guarantee your leather furniture for 5 years. After hoops of repeated phone calls and pictures and different angles of picture ls they conclude it is not covered. So I buy leather with the impression it was going to last for years and if not we have a great warranty/customer service that covers it all. So if I accidentally ripped it that would be covered but if you sell me a hunk of junk low quality leather furniture as mid to high end with an excellent full spectrum warranty and it begins to fall apart do to piss poor quality then not that's our fault but it's on you. Never will I ever shop with Ashley again and will do everything in my power to make sure no one around me spends a penny with them.Once again after Ashley reached out to me nothing was done to rectify the situation and or poor customer service. This situation over and over again reassures me I will never spend another penny with this company and will use every form of social media to hopefully suggest other to also not shop with them.

Furniture is nice. It took about a month longer than originally told to receive. I confirmed delivery for a specific date but they lost it or didn’t have in the system anymore. So that caused another delay. Delivery people were great.

Worst store ever, my order has been pushed back 3 months and excuse is v Covid and scs back log. We all know this excuses are used now only to justify bad services. This is last time am canceling order with them and never setting my foot into their store anywhere.

Sales experience was great. Everything since hasn't. Their dsghome website does not work. Got 2 texts that said my order was ready to schedule. Called and the automated service said it wasnt ready. Went to customer service option but they know nothing and couldnt fix address on order.. Called store multiple and no answer. it just hangs up on you. Had to drive an hour and half back to the store to get things figured out and move schedule date to when i would be home, after being told by cs that it couldnt change. Took about 5 minutes. Told that phones aren't answered because they don't have any csr in store. but you walk in and there are 5 sales people standing around. Supposed to be delivered this week. Got text today to schedule it. Called and order is not available for scheduling. Truck is already full. It was 15 minutes from the time I got the text to when I got a hold of someone on cs. It is now scheduled for next week as only deliver to my area once a week. CSR said issues I had are known but nothing gets done about it. CSR hung up so I couldn't answer their survey. Will never buy from Ashley again.

I kinda of wish that I would have had time to Look on my own …. The salesperson was great! It’s just I felt a little bit pressured to look at the recliners ( that’s what I came to look for.) I just didn’t get a chance to take my time and look I know he has to Make a living but I was going to buy one there anyways.

Overall my sales experience was fine. Salesman was responsive before during and after my purchase. However, Ashley customer service who sets up delivery etc was absolutely terrible and probably the reason I will never buy from them again. Due to supply chain issues I had some split delivery and this was shared with me at purchase. Not a big deal. What was a big deal is the organization of the deliveries. The wrong mirror was delivered 3 times. My bed came in 3 parts and only 2 were delivered at first, rendering it useless and I was on the hook for storing it. However, I got the majority of my order within the same week, but it was rather inconvenient. The warehouse communication with customers is so bad even the delivery drivers told me they are terrible about doing it right the first time. All that aside, it was my most recent experience that was the most troublesome. I kept getting texts to schedule delivery for my remaining items and then they would not show up. This happened 3 times and I called customer service and they couldn’t tell me why I was getting delivery notices as my items weren't in yet. They said the best they could do was give me the local warehouse to call myself. As the customer, I felt like I was doing more work than them so I contacted my store and they were able to give me answers. However the process was so confusing and you never had one direct person to speak with—just a 1800 number. I don’t blame the store where I made my purchase but the customer service from the Ashley Company was some of the worst I have experienced. Finally after speaking with the manager, he had personally called the warehouse to confirm my items would be here. Finally got them and my ticket is closed. Glad its all here. I expected a lot more customer service for spending nearly $10,000. They would probably be ok if you needed just one thing but I probably won’t be back there to make a purchase. I like my items but they need to learn a lot about organizational skills and how to treat customers

Michael Harris at the Jefferson Boulevard location was responsive and attentive to our needs in ordering and purchasing a complete bedroom set. We have additional furniture needs for our new patio home and would definitely consider calling on him again.

My furniture took way too long to arrive. Got multiple texts and emails about the same delivery with different dates, just confusing and uncoordinated.

Charles Hayden worked with us and he was really great. We found what we wanted and he took good care of us. Very smooth process.

Do not purchase anything based on their warranty as they don’t actually honor these. Instead they give you the runaround, first service will contact within 24 hours, then when you call back after 48 hours they start a new clock of 3-5 business days. I paid $1,000 for a lift chair that is stuck with legs and back fully extended that we cannot even sit in and it won’t power up taking up half my living room. Garbage.

Very great experience with my salesman Charles. However, I urge you to look online for the item you want to purchase before buying it! As I sat on the couch that I wanted, I Googled it and it was a thousand dollar difference on the website! No worries Charles honored the price BUT just make sure to look up the item before you swipe your card. Wasn't any fault of his, he said because they are a franchise you will find a price difference online but they honor it. So stay woke.

The customer service for Ashley Furniture is the absolute worst! We have been waiting over 4 months for our new furniture to be repaired by their customer service. They keep telling us they'll call us back to schedule the repairs but they never follow through!! This is extremely frustrating because we purchased over $3000 worth of furniture from them this year and don't deserve to get the run around on getting the necessary repairs we were promised. The salesperson reassured us when we purchased the furniture that we would be well taken care of but that was a complete lie!! Once they get your $$$$$ you get nothing else but headache from this company!! Do not recommend them.

I purchased a 3k leather couch and recliner as well as the "insurance" because I was told it covers pet damage. I go to make a claim and get sent to a 3rd party to get sent to another 3rd party only to find out that it doesn't cover pet damage. Now neither Ashley or the 3rd party insurance want to either cover what they said they were going to or give me my money back. Every manager keep pushing it to someone else. I'm very frustrated and spent too much money for them to say "not my problem" I would never get anything here again or recommend anyone ever shop here. Huge waste of money

Never will I ever order anything to be delivered again. I’ve waited about 2 weeks for my new bed frame and bed, selected the date and timeframe, waited all day for nothing. I call the customer service and they claim my order wasn’t ready but yet nobody decided to call nor email the customer. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks, totally dropped the ball on this one. I won’t be back.

I was told our recliner was in stock and would be delivered within a week but when looking over the paperwork there was no delivery date on it. Terrible Customer Service Last year in 2021 I ordered 2 recliners, 1 loveseat and 3 end tables, my order got split into two, 3 months apart. The loveseat came in with damage and the delivery guy was like, no worries they will fix it. After a year later I got it fixed to good enough that I am done dealing with them. The piece that was damaged comes off, if they just had swapped me the piece it would have been done, but instead of that they decided to send someone out 4 different times to unsew my leather cover, try to stuff it. The repair looked worse than the damage (see pictures). I have had to hassle the heck out of them to get this done, I even had to go to the store to get them to understand. Other Issues Recliners came in, one was damaged, but they did fix it to where you have to look for it to see the repair (yay I guess) One end table had about a 3/8" wobble to it, I fixed it myself to not have to deal with them. My head rest on my couch is peeling were I sit, I am bald so I am sure that has something to do with it since it doesn't happen to were my wife its. So the couch is low quality in that aspect NEVER AGAIN Will I try to save money and buy from Ashley

Terrible customer service!! You have been warned. Also I ordered and paid for 2 recliners. I had to call them when estimated day of delivery came and went on the 23rd of Aug. Now they said maybe Aug 30th? That's 30 days after I paid for them. If they come in then. Also customer service hung up on me....WOW is all I can say. I will never purchase from them again!!! This is my response to Ashley Furniture wanting me to supply information and then taking more of my time to call a number to address delivery issues. First off you have all my information as I submitted it when I ordered the merchandise. Second if you were concerned about how I was treated, or your Second rate delivery service I would have received a call. I've done my part by selecting your merchandise and paying for it. Now do your part. Provide customer service and deliver my merchandise. Customers shouldn't have to hunt you down. The first sign of customer dissatisfaction, you should immediately call to investigate. That is how a business should be run. I shouldn't have to give Ashley Furniture a business model on how it should be run.

My bed was delivered broken. Was told it would take 1-2 weeks to replace. Three months later the piece arrives but the footboard doesn’t have all the pieces. So they couldn’t replace the broken piece!!!! I’ve talked to several customer service people and they all act as if there is nothing they can do. Just have to reorder and pray it’s not broken and together. It’s been a nightmare since November of last year. Never buying from them again

Fourth time it was delivered with mattress in box, which I was told I wasn’t purchasing a mattress in a box). Then after paying for white glove delivery the delivery guys told me they were only to drop my items off in the box. I refused delivery because it was wrong mattress and they refused to put adjustable bed together. I had so much trouble the manager volunteered to refund delivery fee plus $50. That was 7/21. It’s 8/10. I’ve contacted salesman 3 times and I still don’t have refund. Drove 35 miles to go to store. Some lady told me she was the manager but salesman told me manager was off today. She said she was just told yesterday and she sent refund. I asked her to print me proof and she refused. I asked her to call someone she refused. I told her I was trying to be nice instead of being a b&$#@ and she told me I was being a b$#@%. I just walked out. This is pathetic service. Owners need to do something. Look at the Facebook reviews and see people having same issues with this store. Now this happened at Lexington store but be Leary of all stores.

Do not shop here. If you are going to go to Ashley, choose a different location. My wife and I bought a bedroom set a month before our wedding with the guarantee that everything was in stock and would be delivered within a month. Three months later, we have not received any of our order, promised money back has not been received, and I cannot get in contact with anyone from the store. They have pushed back the delivery dates for a different reason every time, and every "customer service" representative gives me conflicting information. In short, customer service is non-existent - impossible to reach by phone, constant lies, not knowledgable about company practices or products.

Great product

Furniture took 7 months to arrive. Truck knocked down two large branches on a tree while backing in. Left a gash on the door frame of another bedroom. Broke a packet of silica and left it all over the floor. The silica was also in the drawer of the dresser and in the track where the drawer slides open and closed. It makes it so the drawer will not open or close properly. Very frustrating.

As usual Ashley’s show room is beautiful, with a large selection of really nice furniture. We went to the home store on Jefferson Rd. in Louisville and had a great experience. We were shopping for a couch but it’s always an unpleasant experience to get approached right as we walk in. Often I change my mind despite needing something based on how associates greet customers as they come in. I like to have a few minutes to get my bearings before having to tell someone I’m only browsing. These guys were laid back and greeted us but let come in without forcing us to listen to a sales pitch. Roy was our sales guy and he was super easy to talk to. He let us take our time, didn’t follow us around, answered questions when we asked, and looked for particular items we were looking for. We found a couple things we liked and Roy made the price fit in our range without playing the usual games sales guys inevitably play….or if he did it was unnoticeable to us as he was just a pleasant person to talk to. I will come back and see Roy specifically when I can afford a few more items on my list.

Ashley Furniture has given me the worse customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. My husband and purchased our furniture last May 2021 and still have not received our furniture. I called Corporate to complain and they only delivered half of my furniture collection set. What about the rest of the pieces that cost me thousands? They could not even offer me a discounts, or a refund, but they are still taking money out of my bank account every month for items I do not have. Corporate NOW will not even take my calls because I call so much. How can you be this BIG CORPORATE company but can't tell me when I will get the rest of my furniture I ordered a year ago that I am currently making payments on. If Ashley did not like serving BLACK PEOPLE OR PEOPLE OF COLOR their business they could've said so and I could had taken my business elsewhere. I need LAWYER! RUN. I ordered a couch and they missed 3 delivery dates. Then, the couch didnt fit up the stairs which no one could predict. I then re-ordered a loveseat and after 2 more missed deliveries, they brought a sofa again. The poor delivery guys are treated like garbage, and I have gone 2 months without a couch. Please, order somewhere else. They gas-light every conversation, and if you arent firm they blame it on you. DEMAND discounts, thats the only way they start caring about your order. Please go somewhere else.

Bought a bedroom set from Ashley and it arrived this past Wednesday. First they arrived an 1 1/2 late beyond their window timeframe. Upon there arrival the delivery guy had me sign a liability waiver which he told me was if there was any damage to the walls and floor that they would not be liability so I said ok. He took a picture on his phone and told me everything was setup. Did not look at it in person as I had to go to work. So when I had the chance to review the furniture there was some damage to the footboard and the dresser when I called customer service they told me that by signing this liability I waive all rights of returns and damage that occurred to the furniture. This is insane I took the word of the delivery guy. DO NOT SIGN LIABILITY/WAIVER! I will never shop at Ashley again, the customer service was horrible!

I ordered a table and chairs set in October of 2021 and was told it would be delivered around December since orders were taking a long time. I was okay with that. January 2022 came and I still hadn’t received it. I called and they said just a few more weeks. Well, I didn’t even receive my order until July 2022. I will say that the salesman who helped us with our order was nice and he did help us out by knocking off the delivery charge for our wait. The delivery also went fine. However we quickly realized after they left that the chairs were extremely crooked. None of them are level and they wobble like crazy. We waited 10 months for a low quality table and chairs. I will never use this store again. Not to mention every single time I call, nobody will answer. The only way I could even communicate with someone was because the salesman was nice enough to give us his personal phone number. I wouldn’t even bother leaving a bad review if we just had to wait a while for our order, but receiving such clearly messed up chairs was my final straw.

So far so good. Waiting for the chair to come in!

Delivery service was decent. Armoires delivered are extremely poor quality. There was a bent piece on one armoire and the service person bent the piece back and called it a day. Extremely bad product quality delivered so far and customer service is absolutely terrible. Been waiting 3 months for 2 screws for a nightstand and no clue how long it will take to fix/replace our defective furniture. I would NOT purchase from Ashley in the future unless I took it from the showroom floor.

I was delivered used damaged furniture. No one will help me exchange it. I would not buy from them again.

I've been made promises multiple times all have been lies. I was told my order would be delivered in April. It is now almost September and they just delivered the last two items. I paid for the premium delivery which was supposed to have my furniture assembled it is not. They didn't send hardware for my couch to be assembled and it took a month before someone was sent out to but it together. I'm now waiting to hear back about the assembly of the day bed I purchased. The entire process of dealing with them has been miserable and they lack any form of positive communication. I do not recommend buying anything from them. I'll consider this a lesson learned and the Louisville location has lost my business from now on and I will try my best to talk everyone I know to avoid buying anything from them.

The sales reps were good. Ashley furniture itself is extremely horrible, I do not recommend. My furniture was delayed several times, their customer support is AWFUL. They don't answer the phone, you get put on hold for 30min just for them to hang up. they only do inbound calls, so if they don't connect to your call you start the que over. They customer service chats are awful, they talk to multiple people at a time, slowing everything down. they are rude and find ANY reason to end the chat. I said thank you after they said they'd do something, and they said have a nice day, started the que over because they weren't paying attention. Awful customer service, ill never buy from them again.

Had a great offer with zero down 25% discount and 1 year zero interest charges but also offer up to 5 years zero interest.

The employee that helped us was very patient and did not linger..Gave us time to check everything out a few times but wasn’t overbearing so I really liked that. I believe his name was Harim but I may have misspelled his name :-) Can’t wait for my living room set to arrive!

Purchased a floor sample bed with ease with salesperson Paul. Very nice. He gave me the number of the third party moving company that picks up clearance/floor samples and was told to call within 24 hours to schedule the delivery. I did and the third party company was very nice and scheduled it for their next pick up a few days later. Obviously the “rule” of 72 hr pick up was lost in communication and I was sent a text message from the store today saying I needed to pick up the bed within 3 hours or my purchase would be refunded and canceled. I am in the middle of selling a home and moving. I need this bed. I tried to call the store several times immediately to see what was going on and no answer. I’ve noticed this before with this store. Nobody answers the phone! I finally reached the salesperson and he was hesitant to relay the message. I asked politely to speak with the manager who I could hear in the background giving orders. I asked to speak with her again and heard a lot of unprofessional dialogue but she finally answered. She was curt, rude , impatient and unprofessional telling me the bed would be canceled and interrupted me repeatedly when I tried to explain I did what I was supposed to do and I can’t help that the delivery people are backed up. I tried again to tell her I did my part in calling who they told me to and two more days was the soonest they could pick up the bed. She acted like she was doing me a favor and “would let me” pick it up in two days but if it wasn’t picked up by 6pm it would be canceled. No if, and or buts about it. What kind of customer service is this? I know everyone is stressed, and I understand retail but her communication skills and professionalism were poor at best. I’ll go above and have asked a friend to help me pick it up tomorrow so I can resolve such animosity and aggravation on the store managers part. Corporate may want to provide more customer service skill classes for management and teach their staff how to handle situations more professionally and civilly. I’m not some junky who doesn’t follow the rules just to aggravate a store managers life. That was absolutely pathetic.

Purchased a reclining couch and love seat that I paid 4600.00 for. They told us we could get the couch delivered in a few days and the love seat would be 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I called to check on the love seat and was told it would June 16th and then was hung up on. They called us again to say our live seat was in and when we called they said they couldn't deliver it until June 29th. I spoke to a manager who said there was nothing he could. I told him I wanted my money back and they could come get the couch. He said that wasn't possible. I call this poor business. I was lied to in the store being told it would be 2 weeks, when I have to wait over a month. If they had told me that in the store I wouldn't have made the purchase. I was told there was nothing they could do!!! I will never buy from Ashley again and I will tell everyone to saty away. They lie to get your money and then don't deliver your purchase!!!

They didn't have any outdoor furniture on site So I had to travel 20 minutes to another Ashley store found what I needed but then decided I don't need outdoor furniture.

No help what do ever customer service does not communicate with the stores and the stores lied to me and cannot deliver and now they act like that is my problem? Run as fast as you can!

We left with a table in mind but wanted to shoo other stores first. We came back to Ashley's and asked for Shelby when we were ready to make our purchase. Shelby was very pleasant and helpful in our decision making process. Ashley's had what we wanted for a price range previously discussed between my wife an me.

I ordered a book shelf in Sep of 2021 and was told it would be available in January of 2022. No one called me, I had to call and check on the stat, only to be told it would know be June. Called to check on the status and now being told September 2022. No help from customer service. Was told to go back into the store and talk to the manager. I try calling the store and no one answers or returns calls.

I have bought from Ashley several times in the past five years and was always able to work with Shane Sharpe. He is very knowledgeable about the Ashley products and has never steered me wrong. Always explains the finances and delivery choices I have clearly. Painless experience and always a pleasure to work with.

I really appreciated that I was allowed the freedom to search for what I wanted in peace and when I was ready I was able to easily able to find Harim who had greeted me shortly after entering the store. He was able to knowledgeably answer my questions and complete my transaction.

He went out of his way to make sure that I got everything that I needed and everything that I wanted and the pricing was perfect and made sure that I got the sale on the discount and I found the most beautiful painting and some accessories to go with it as well and it was just a wonderful experience I highly recommend!!

May of 2021 I ordered a $5,000 bedroom set (without mattress) It wasn't delivered until August 31, 2021. Upon delivery, the dresser drawer was broken by running into a doorway. The headboard has a big run in the fabric, the mirror is distorted and the chest has paint chips. The delivery men took pics and reported the damage. Never heard a word. I called about a month later, they had no information. So I was instructed to send email with pics and I did. Nothing. Called a few weeks later. They said a repairman will be there in a few days. Never did. I called again and they said they would send someone from a different company. He did come. He did nothing but take pics. I waited another month. Nothing. Went to the store in person in January. They had no info and needed 'pics'. I sent them again while I was there and verified that they were received and they were. Waited another month, called again, and again I had to send pictures. That was February 27, 2022. Today is May 23 and nothing. I called and was told the dresser is due in on the 5/25. The mirror 6/21. She said the headboard and the chipped paint was dismissed as there were no pictures sent. I threw a small fit over the phone and then "oh yes, here it is.....the headboard in due 6/29 and the chest 8/2". This is terrible service. My parents also had a terrible time a few years earlier with a kitchen dinette that had damage to the top. They were told the furniture was on the truck for delivery 3 or 4 times. It never was. It took months and they gave up and purchased another set elsewhere.

I had a great experience at this location. I told them exactly what I was looking for and they were able to offer me fantastic prices and set it up to have it delivered to my home. Was very happy!

Our salesman Shane was awesome! We were there of over 3 hours and it felt like 20 minutes. He made our shopping experience fun and easy, he was very knowledgeable about the products and helped us pick out the best things to fit our needs

Worst service ever, we purchased a new bedroom suit almost a year ago and we still don't have it. The store manager acted like it wasn't a big deal. BBB rates them as a 1 star. Class action law suits are popping up everywhere. BE CAREFUL.

I had a power recliner quit working, fully extended, April 12, 2022. I have only had it for 4 months and spent $2,000 on it. As of today, May 11th, 2022, I am being told that it will be late June before the parts arrive so someone can come to look at it. In my opinion, Ashley just wants your purchase money. They do not stand behind their products. Be careful if you need service, it won't be coming quick, if at all.

I was greeted by Joe H upon entering, and I am SO happy he found me. Truly the best customer service I've ever had.. and he was so kind! He asked me what I was looking for, types of styles and fabrics I had in mind, and a budget. He then let me wander around while checking in on me and showing me exact examples of what I was looking for! He sat with me and showed me different types of customizations and styles, while giving me his honest opinion on whether or not it would fit in the space I am working with. (he even had the tape measure on hand to be safe!) I felt that he truly wasn't just trying to make a sale, but genuinely invested and interested in finding what worked best for what we were looking for. No pressure, no rushing me and he let me take all the time I needed while guiding me to what I was looking for. Very, very happy with my experience!! The store in Louisville, Kentucky is a horrible store!!! They will tell you anything you want to hear just to get you to buy. I purchased my dining room table and chairs along with my bedroom set and couch with Ashley back in October. I literally went throughout the store with the sales guys asking him what was in stock and available and if it wasn’t available I wasn’t Interested. I picked out everything they told me was available and told I would receive within a few weeks or days.first I was told my dining table chairs were backed up and I was understanding and went back and picked out others since I had no furniture what soever in my home!! Then they delivered 3 pieces of my couch and said the other 2 were delayed as well and since I saw that the couch was too big anyways I went back again and wanted to pick something else out but nothing I liked was available asap. So I got my money back for the couch. Then its now May and im still waiting for my bedroom set and they keep extending the delivery date!! No one ever calls me to keep me updated. I have to call monthly and when I called now to ask why its taking so long all the reps would eventually HANG UP THE PHONE ON ME!! They get some type of manager and they would just tell me lies and nothing ever comes!!A manager told me last week they would have everything delivered to me yesterday except my bench which I was fine with and nothing ever came!! I went to the store and the manager and another lady in the back were very rude and unprofessional. They never tried to help me out I told then I have been waiting 6 months when I was told 4 weeks and they didn’t care. I know it was because im Spanish because they didn’t even want to give me the time of day. They were very RACIST how they spoke to me and handled the situation. I don’t think im being unfair or inpatient because its been 6 months and they keep extending my date! I have referred many Friends and family and I should be consider being they they all spend over $15k. I feel useless and feel my voice is not being heard because of RACE!!! Its sad that this day in age we still have to live thru this. Stay away from this store!!

Thought I had a nice chair and price boy was I wrong the chair lasted 6 months and then broke waited for a repairman to come verify it was broken beyond repair for 3 months he looked at it for 5 mins and called it waited another 3 months for the arrival of my new chair it arrived it seemed a little different then the original when I first sat in it thought just in my head 3 months later broken again come to find out there was hardware missing in it with black circles around like they were errors caught and then not fixed have waited 3 months again for a repair man to tell me and ashleys the same thing as before and day before the appointment they canceled and I needed to wait another month for a repair man I have gotten tiered of having a chair in my house broken more then operable and I asked for a full refund I was denied with an expensive warranty I bought this is the treatment you get absolutely worse purchase of my life.

Check your receipt! Was over charged on a 4k ticket by10%. I was also charged 2 delivery fees! It took several phone calls to the store and 2 visits to get everything correct.

I ordered bedroom furniture from ya’ll back in May of 2021 when I was 5-6weeks pregnant and guess what still haven’t gotten the full set. Literally, have only gotten a headboard, mattress, one dresser, a mirror, side dresser and rails for the floorboards of the bed and that’s it. Been calling and calling and I get nothing but the run around from customers service and the associates at the store about when I will get anything delivered. Whenever I get the rest of my stuff, who knows when that will be… I will NEVER buy from you ever again. It’s ridiculous

Ordered 6500. Hundred dollars in furniture sales said would be 6 to 10 weeks out. The week the couch was to be there nothing. Called jtown store said would be 7 months before items would be here. Canceled ordered in store they said would be 3 to 5 business days for a return of what we paid for that day items weren't financed. I can say 30days still no refund. Won't answer the phone or return calls. I wouldn't tell any one to shop here ever. This is by far the worst buying order we have very had.

Went to this store today, and it is absolutely FILTHY. I was completely grossed out by how dirty the floor is in here. I cannot imagine ever purchasing furniture from my home from a place I can barely walk around without wanting to run out.

Went into this store to browse & ended up making a purchase of a sectional. I feel that I was deceived and persuaded into doing so, as both the sales rep Trey Bowman and the owner of the location told me that the delivery delays were not as bad as expected, and strongly assured me it would be delivered in 4 weeks. It has since been 10 weeks and I am unable to get any sort of update or estimate on time. Very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and communication after purchasing, and very dissatisfied with my experience with this store. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Worst furniture experience. Bought an entire bedroom suit and a large sectional that was supposed to be delivered in February. We received a text that our furniture was in and ready to be scheduled for delivery. We called and set up the delivery with a rep. No one ever showed up. When we called to ask about it, Ashley said the delivery was never scheduled and our furniture would not be in until July. They said there were "system issues" which is why we got a text and a phone call confirming our furniture was in and ready to be delivered. When I asked for a customer service line, they gave me a fake corporate phone number that was disconnected when I tried to call. We sold our current furniture the day before we were told the new stuff would be delivered so now we have an empty house until July. Never using them again.

They have great customer service and gave us the time to think about what living room suit that we wanted. Charles was fantastic!!!

I found exactly what I was looking for. We had a great salesperson who just let us shop until we found what we wanted and then swooped in to make getting our piece home as soon as possible. Very good experience. I would recommend them.

Bought Entire Living Room Set in 2021 was delivered 1-12-21 and material is coming apart and I opened a claim on 1-10-22 Just under still in my warranty, I called the Louisville store where I purchased multiple times never could talk to anyone, finally reach call center, they told me to call my warranty dept which I did on the 10th.. Now as I've waited to here back from them and I reached out several times they told me I had to wait until they reach a decision on what could they do. now they tell me it's not covered that now I half to go through Ashley because it's a manufacturing defect. So today is 2-17-22 Same day I found all this out I finally get in touch with someone only to now tell me it's now out of warranty because it's now February. Even though I opened a claim still in my time frame, they will not help... I'm so upset and disappointed that I still half to pay $1000 left on my sectional that they will not cover or try to fix.... I will never shop Ashley Furniture again..... Customer Service is a Joke 👎

Jan 2020 we purchased two couches and a recliner. Day one the recliner and recliner on couch recliner did not work. We contacted Ashley furniture. Fourteen months later and several calls we can still not use either. They are unplugged. Several hours on the phone issue still not resolved. No one will take responsibility. Ashley furniture or extended warranty we purchased. Sadly we are making payments for things we can’t use. We thought we were buying from a reputable place.
