We recently purchased a furniture set from Ashley Furniture, and this was actually our second time buying from them. We took our time, visiting the store two weekends in a row before making our decision.Our sales associate, J., was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly patient, never pushy, and extremely knowledgeable about the quality and durability of each piece we considered. He truly listened to our concerns, helped us brainstorm options, and made us feel like valued customers throughout the process. What stood out most is that J. wasn’t focused on pushing the most expensive pieces or steering us away from the more affordable ones. He only discussed pricing when we asked, and his priority was clearly helping us find the right fit for our home, budget, and style preferences. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and feel confident we made the best choice for our family. We will definitely be purchasing from him again in the future, and I can’t recommend J. highly enough, he truly made furniture shopping a positive and stress-free experience!

Never again! Being told your furniture will be ready in about 3 weeks and 4 weeks and 3 days later you call and it's still couple more weeks out is ridiculous! I would go somewhere else next time. Should never have to wait 2 months for frickin furniture. Do yourself a favor and go to Simplicity or somewhere that actually has stock and doesn't lie to you to just make a sale! Not to mention, the guy at the desk is so rude and amazes me how he can still have a job there.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Wayne is horrible he actually called a customer at home and called that customer a coward and hasn't addressed an issue with a product they sold in January. A chair was bought and after 1 week it was broke. They still haven't fixed it. Even with insurance. They have been called and called and they have made no effort to resolve the issue. This chair is for a handicapped person and they could care less. So go somewhere else to get ypur furniture because they have bad business practices. 😡😡 A Thank for nothing WAYNE . Don't be rude to me or anyone else again .

I’ve have had the worst experience with delivery and the store manager Nathan. I had four different deliveries and three different dressers delivered, and they were all damaged. I eventually had to go up to Ashley furniture store on two separate occasions because I had been emailing Megan and she either would not respond or not try to help. I got no where with her. The store manager Nathan was rude to my father and I, when all we said was everything that we have been through since OCTOBER and it’s February now. Instead of ordering us a damaged free dresser. “That we paid for” We had to settle for the store display model. When we arrived at the store Nancy greeted us and assured up that delivery was great and we should receive damaged free items. Which in our case we did not. Extremely dissatisfied of the way we were treated from customers service and that the item we purchased. It wasn’t an issue for them to take my money from my account but there has been an issue to resolve this matter. I do not think, I have been treated fairly. Or have not been compensated for the time and effort I have had to put into my purchase. Which should have been handled in a more professional way. I don’t know what’s more disappointing. The fact we have been treated this way. Or this is how your company treats its consumers.

My wife and I were greeted byJay when we entered the store. Jay was very nice and allowed my wife and I to explore the store but was available when we were ready to purchase.

This was our first visit here and purchase. We met Karen at the door and right away she took us straight to what we was searching for. She was very professional,helpful and super nice! She told us all about the mattresses and let us asks questions/answered them. She wasn’t pushy at all! Even treated my little one with popcorn and sample of the purple mattress!

Called and paid by phone picked it up an hour later at this dock. Quick and easy.

Just bought a new mattress, great customer service doesn't get mentioned enough, nor celebrated when it's achieved, Hancock checked all the boxes. Knowledgeable about all the products allowing us to make the most educated decision, very polite, and provided us a level of customer service that's second to none. Thank you very much sir, we'll be back!

This is my third purchase from Ashley here in Owensboro and I have never been disappointed. Sarah has been the sales associate I have dealt with each time and has given me great service. The furniture i have purchased have been well constructed and durable and have held up great and the styles choices are excellent. There were no pressure tactics to buy which I appreciated. I am very happy with my experiences with this Ashley Furniture store.

She asked our intrest and allowed us to walk around and returned to us within a timely manor of first contact and given us time to view the inventory of the store. We chose a 3 piece living room and 2 end tables and coffee table. She was very professional and Knowledgeable and treated us better than other stores we have entered.

Should have held my review until I actually received what I paid for. I'm guessing from their responses to my phone calls, that they never intended to make good on the delivery date they put in writing. Nor did they have any intention of notifying me that what they put in writing had changed drastically. This must be standard procedure for at least this location.

The customer service was top tier, Hancock was a huge help and very professional and accommodating!

If you need a great deal and a great buying experience please go to Ashley and ask for Hancock! He was so helpful and I felt really welcome and no pressure to buy. He is informed and friendly!!!

We found a couch we loved here after shopping around at several other places. It was a TOTALLY different experience at Ashley. No pushy fake sales people, great prices, beautiful showroom. The man who helped us, J. made us feel so welcome, helped us tons, and was incredible with our 7 year old who was being a typical 7 year old in a furniture showroom. He went above and beyond to get her popcorn and check in on us without making us feel pressured or feeling pushy. We will be going back to Ashley for any more furniture purchases for sure! Couldn’t recommend it or J. more! I hope this company values the wonderful person he is!

Hank was very helpful in letting us go home to measure our dining room after our purchase, just in case it would not fit. And the table was too big. So we had to cancel, which we were able to do. So they stood by their word.

My experience in choosing a sofa was great. I was greeted by Luke and he said his family has the same one I had been looking at online. Having first hand review from a live person, he sold me on it. He matched the online price and I was out the door within 30. He told me that it’s better purchase through the store than buying online due to possibly having problems of damage and setting up when delivered, and the delivery is usually much faster. Being able to see and feel the product relieves the anxiety of not really knowing what you’re getting.

The guy that helped us was amazing!!! We didn't feel rushed at all. The lady that did our paperwork was amazing too.

Sales person was great to work with. I’m older female with several health issues and no one to help move old couch out. When purchasing new furniture I explained this and was huge factor of me purchasing with Ashley if they would move couch to garage. It was agreed upon. I had everything ready for delivery. Delivery guys refused to move old couch after me explaining it was agreed upon. I called sales person he called manager then manager called delivery guys to move old couch after delivery guys watched me and young son struggle taking old couch apart. They wouldn’t lift one finger they didn’t have to. Ultimately they wound up packing old couch out. It was done backwards new in old out. I won’t do business at Ashley again.

Newly delivered chest of drawers (2 of them, exactly the same) Drawers sticking on both. Have contacted Elaina @ Ashley and new gliders for drawers ordered. May take several weeks to arrive and then have someone come out and replace. It’s disappointing that brand new furniture is not working properly. I have not purchased new furniture in many years, and it’s making me second guess myself to do it again. The new sofa is lovely and the family loves it . Wish it was all lovely .

I hate Ashley. Been thru them twice for household furniture. The first time we went through them, our stuff arrived broken. Then they told us we would have to pay to fix it. And the second time we got from them our couch was missing a cushion and told us it would have to be ordered. And everyone I’ve ever talked to has had issues as well. Purchased a “leather sofa” three years ago. Made the mistake of purchasing warranty that salesperson said “was well worth the cost.” Fast forward three years later and there was a tear on the seem of the footrest. Warranty company said that warranty will not cover the cost due to “weakness in area of furniture.” Had someone come from Ashley furntiture only to find out three years later that leather furniture only means that most of the furniture is leather and other parts are vinyl. Of course where the seem was split was vinyl and couldn’t be repaired. All this comes back to me mentioning three years ago to salesperson that main reason we were purchasing furniture was because problem we have had with vinyl furniture. Only to find out we were purchasing “mostly leather” furniture. I gave two stars because Jennifer in service department was incredible, helpful, and responsive despite service elsewhere. Certain we will have to purchase furniture in a few years and at that time our family will look elsewhere

We were looking for a low platform King Bed and mattress. There was one style that was lower, and without storage. Bought it and the nattress. We will see if it is delivered when told.

We went into find a new rocking recliner. Jake was very helpful and answered all our questions. I even found an end table I didn’t know I wanted! We will be back!

I purchased two couches and a chair from Ashley Furniture. Two of the three pieces of furniture were lemons. Within one week of delivery, the chair had a button pop off of it. Mind you, the chair is in my living room, mainly for decoration, since the two pillows resting on it take up all the sitting space. The larger of the couches started coming apart at the seams. Still, Ashley's claim department said the chair and couch would not fall under the warranty for repairs because the damage was done based on their poor-quality furniture and not of the customer’s doing. I will never purchase anything from Ashley‘s again.

Good Store but corporate needs to support their franchises better. Ashley credit card promotions need to be posted at stores and franchises should be informed. My Ashley / Synchrony credit card had a 10% promotion for purchases during your birthday month. My wife and I purchased a dining room set on the last day of the month in order to receive a 10% discount that was not honored as the store had no information regarding corporate promotions.

Bought an electric recliner in 2020. Switch went out in 2023. They have already discontinued this model and do not have replacement parts for a 3 year old chair.

Jake was great. Helpful, upfront and not invasive. He gave us the facts and let us make our own choice without hovering. We came for a recliner but ended up buying a whole living room set.

We bought a bed and mattress that was delivered on April 5th (2023). We had it professionally installed by Ashley's guys. It's a king size bed. The middle support legs have broken on three separate occasions. After the first occurrence, we called and informed the company of the situation and they sent us replacement legs. Nothing wrong with that. But after the second and subsequently third leg breaks, they continue to just offer us replacements of a clearly cheaply made product. We're still paying on the bed. We worry every night if it's about to randomly break again. Our last visit to the store, the sales person recommended us to leave it alone until the team from Evansville can get to us. It's literally broken at the center of the bed at the top. We're sleeping in a sinkhole. Would anyone working here tolerate this? I honestly assumed that Ashley, a nationally recognized brand, would be a quality furniture provider, but our experience has been anything but. While everyone we've dealt with has been polite, it feels as if our situation has been kicked down the road and dismissed almost entirely. Do your research before you purchase anything that has to be assembled.

Prices were much more affordable than I anticipated (we usually are bargain hunters and go for the cheaper stuff) and our Sales Consultant Sonya Young did a phenomenal job helping us find what we needed, getting the best pricing possible - taking advantage of sales and price matching and made the purchase and delivery as smooth as could be. She was friendly, helpful, extremely responsive through both phone and text and really made the original and then follow-up purchase a great experience. Awesome Help Ashley Associates help me get what I needed

Bought a $1600 bedroom set from them. Had a defective dresser. Called them to let them know, said someone would come out and fix it. 2 weeks go by and nothing. Called again. Same thing. I gave up (shouldnt have) Its a year later and i have a dresser drawer that collapses down on the drawer below it, rendering both drawers not able to be used. I waited too long to review. Wish i left 1 star earlier Terrible customer service and lazy cheap assembly. Ikea is better quality

Not sure how this store has as many good reviews as it does! This is my second bad experience with them and will be my last. The first one I bought a hybrid king mattress and it ended up with a swag in the middle in less than a month so I told them I wanted just the memory foam to replace and was less expensive yet they didn’t credit me the difference. This time the salesman told me my sectional came with throw pillows, it didn’t! Said I had 30 days to decide to proceed, I didn’t it was 24 hours and there is no way you can determine that because the product is made at the factory and takes 3 weeks to make and ship. The factory left plastic under the fabric (sewed into) the right reclining end, and the left recliner already is leaning to the left after 2 weeks of use and no our family isn’t 700 lbs. So now we’re stuck with a 3500 sectional with yet another misleading salesman and a warranty we plan to use to the fullest extent, in the meantime we’re sitting on the floor waiting for repairs. BUYERS BEWARE! Will definitely be our last time, 2nd time around….shame on us!!!!!!!

Took 12 weeks to get dining room table

Have spent a lot of money there in past but tonight was disappointing by management and their lack of customer care.

Bought a whole house full of furniture ordered a California king bed they lied to me and told me they ordered a California king bed when they did not. The bed fell apart because it was not put together correctly from their sloppy quality installation people that didn’t even have enough tools.. it fell apart at 2 am in the morning!!! Bed came crashing down on us. we realized that they had lied and only sold me a king bed. I waited 4 months to get the California king bed and then they didn’t have any boxsprings to fit and left me hanging!!

Unless you want to wait for a whole year plus for furniture I wouldn’t no waste your money. Bought a bedroom suite in April and won’t be in until late January. Never again will I buy from this company unless I’m stock.

We were looking for new bed pillows. It’s a necessary chore for us because we both have problems getting a good nights sleep. A doctor suggested we get new bed pillows to help improve our sleep. We were expecting to deliberate for a while in making this important decision. The sales person, Sarah, was so helpful and informative. She made the difficult decision, (because my husband and I sleep totally opposite of each other -side verses stomach), very easy. She wasn’t pushy and didn’t rush us at all. She didn’t hover over us either. She gave us time alone to talk about the price and size, etc. Ashleys has a lot of choices in bed pillows to accommodate every kind of sleeper. AND we’re already having better quality sleep with the new pillows. Thank you Sarah for your expert help! You made it so easy and we’re very happy with our choices. I love the service. I love the recliners. I really think it is sad that I am willing to spend almost $2000 and it won't be delivered free. I can go anywhere else in Owensboro and get it delivered free.

I was extremely pleased with the high quality service and friendliness I received in the mattress department of Ashley Furniture. The salesperson, Amanda, was very knowledgeable on all the products and also very patient! Even one of the owners (Adam) came over to help with additional details. It was a very good experience. I went to Ashley’s furniture home store in Owensboro, KY yesterday! Everyone there was so helpful and ready to help me when I needed them! Sarah was the young lady that helped me find the perfect couch for my family and I! I will for sure be going back in the future to buy more furniture from them! I highly recommend Ashley’s!
