I’ve have had the worst experience with delivery and the store manager Nathan. I had four different deliveries and three different dressers delivered, and they were all damaged. I eventually had to go up to Ashley furniture store on two separate occasions because I had been emailing Megan and she either would not respond or not try to help. I got no where with her. The store manager Nathan was rude to my father and I, when all we said was everything that we have been through since OCTOBER and it’s February now. Instead of ordering us a damaged free dresser. “That we paid for” We had to settle for the store display model. When we arrived at the store Nancy greeted us and assured up that delivery was great and we should receive damaged free items. Which in our case we did not. Extremely dissatisfied of the way we were treated from customers service and that the item we purchased. It wasn’t an issue for them to take my money from my account but there has been an issue to resolve this matter. I do not think, I have been treated fairly. Or have not been compensated for the time and effort I have had to put into my purchase. Which should have been handled in a more professional way. I don’t know what’s more disappointing. The fact we have been treated this way. Or this is how your company treats its consumers.
My wife and I were greeted byJay when we entered the store. Jay was very nice and allowed my wife and I to explore the store but was available when we were ready to purchase.
This was our first visit here and purchase. We met Karen at the door and right away she took us straight to what we was searching for. She was very professional,helpful and super nice! She told us all about the mattresses and let us asks questions/answered them. She wasn’t pushy at all! Even treated my little one with popcorn and sample of the purple mattress!
Called and paid by phone picked it up an hour later at this dock. Quick and easy.
Just bought a new mattress, great customer service doesn't get mentioned enough, nor celebrated when it's achieved, Hancock checked all the boxes. Knowledgeable about all the products allowing us to make the most educated decision, very polite, and provided us a level of customer service that's second to none. Thank you very much sir, we'll be back!

This is my third purchase from Ashley here in Owensboro and I have never been disappointed. Sarah has been the sales associate I have dealt with each time and has given me great service. The furniture i have purchased have been well constructed and durable and have held up great and the styles choices are excellent. There were no pressure tactics to buy which I appreciated. I am very happy with my experiences with this Ashley Furniture store.

Once we entered the store we were welcomed by a lady named Karen. She asked our intrest and allowed us to walk around and returned to us within a timely manor of first contact and given us time to view the inventory of the store. We chose a 3 piece living room and 2 end tables and coffee table. She was very professional and Knowledgeable and treated us better than other stores we have entered.

Should have held my review until I actually received what I paid for. I'm guessing from their responses to my phone calls, that they never intended to make good on the delivery date they put in writing. Nor did they have any intention of notifying me that what they put in writing had changed drastically. This must be standard procedure for at least this location.
The customer service was top tier, Hancock was a huge help and very professional and accommodating!
If you need a great deal and a great buying experience please go to Ashley and ask for Hancock! He was so helpful and I felt really welcome and no pressure to buy. He is informed and friendly!!!
We found a couch we loved here after shopping around at several other places. It was a TOTALLY different experience at Ashley. No pushy fake sales people, great prices, beautiful showroom. The man who helped us, J. made us feel so welcome, helped us tons, and was incredible with our 7 year old who was being a typical 7 year old in a furniture showroom. He went above and beyond to get her popcorn and check in on us without making us feel pressured or feeling pushy. We will be going back to Ashley for any more furniture purchases for sure! Couldn’t recommend it or J. more! I hope this company values the wonderful person he is!

We came in looking around a couple of weeks ago and was greeted by Sonya Young, she was so helpful and gave us great ideals. We didn't purchase that day but came back 10/26/24 when we had a plan on what we needed and Sonya was a big big help, we purchased a new couch, loveseat, chair, dining set and bar stools and end tables, coffee table and entertainment console with fireplace. Hank was very helpful in letting us go home to measure our dining room after our purchase, just in case it would not fit. And the table was too big. So we had to cancel, which we were able to do. So they stood by their word.

Store was very clean and staff was super friendly! It’s my day off so I walked in there looking like a hobo, you could tell they didn’t care and treated my husband and I with the upmost respect. My experience in choosing a sofa was great. I was greeted by Luke and he said his family has the same one I had been looking at online. Having first hand review from a live person, he sold me on it. He matched the online price and I was out the door within 30. He told me that it’s better purchase through the store than buying online due to possibly having problems of damage and setting up when delivered, and the delivery is usually much faster. Being able to see and feel the product relieves the anxiety of not really knowing what you’re getting.
The guy that helped us was amazing!!! We didn't feel rushed at all. The lady that did our paperwork was amazing too.

Sales person was great to work with. I’m older female with several health issues and no one to help move old couch out. When purchasing new furniture I explained this and was huge factor of me purchasing with Ashley if they would move couch to garage. It was agreed upon. I had everything ready for delivery. Delivery guys refused to move old couch after me explaining it was agreed upon. I called sales person he called manager then manager called delivery guys to move old couch after delivery guys watched me and young son struggle taking old couch apart. They wouldn’t lift one finger they didn’t have to. Ultimately they wound up packing old couch out. It was done backwards new in old out. I won’t do business at Ashley again.

Newly delivered chest of drawers (2 of them, exactly the same) Drawers sticking on both. Have contacted Elaina @ Ashley and new gliders for drawers ordered. May take several weeks to arrive and then have someone come out and replace. It’s disappointing that brand new furniture is not working properly. I have not purchased new furniture in many years, and it’s making me second guess myself to do it again. The new sofa is lovely and the family loves it . Wish it was all lovely .

I hate Ashley. Been thru them twice for household furniture. The first time we went through them, our stuff arrived broken. Then they told us we would have to pay to fix it. And the second time we got from them our couch was missing a cushion and told us it would have to be ordered. And everyone I’ve ever talked to has had issues as well. I highly recommend for people to not go to Ashley.

Purchased a “leather sofa” three years ago. Made the mistake of purchasing warranty that salesperson said “was well worth the cost.” Fast forward three years later and there was a tear on the seem of the footrest. Warranty company said that warranty will not cover the cost due to “weakness in area of furniture.” Had someone come from Ashley furntiture only to find out three years later that leather furniture only means that most of the furniture is leather and other parts are vinyl. Of course where the seem was split was vinyl and couldn’t be repaired. All this comes back to me mentioning three years ago to salesperson that main reason we were purchasing furniture was because problem we have had with vinyl furniture. Only to find out we were purchasing “mostly leather” furniture. I gave two stars because Jennifer in service department was incredible, helpful, and responsive despite service elsewhere. Certain we will have to purchase furniture in a few years and at that time our family will look elsewhere

We were looking for a low platform King Bed and mattress. There was one style that was lower, and without storage. Bought it and the nattress. We will see if it is delivered when told.
We went into find a new rocking recliner. Jake was very helpful and answered all our questions. I even found an end table I didn’t know I wanted! We will be back!

I purchased two couches and a chair from Ashley Furniture. Two of the three pieces of furniture were lemons. Within one week of delivery, the chair had a button pop off of it. Mind you, the chair is in my living room, mainly for decoration, since the two pillows resting on it take up all the sitting space. The larger of the couches started coming apart at the seams. Still, Ashley's claim department said the chair and couch would not fall under the warranty for repairs because the damage was done based on their poor-quality furniture and not of the customer’s doing. I will never purchase anything from Ashley‘s again.

Good Store but corporate needs to support their franchises better. Ashley credit card promotions need to be posted at stores and franchises should be informed. My Ashley / Synchrony credit card had a 10% promotion for purchases during your birthday month. My wife and I purchased a dining room set on the last day of the month in order to receive a 10% discount that was not honored as the store had no information regarding corporate promotions.

Bought an electric recliner in 2020. Switch went out in 2023. They have already discontinued this model and do not have replacement parts for a 3 year old chair.
Within the last year we’ve bought two couches and today have purchased I hide a bed with the help of J.Norris. He was very helpful and made it an easy decision . I highly recommend him when working with Ashley Furniture.

Jake was great. Helpful, upfront and not invasive. He gave us the facts and let us make our own choice without hovering. We came for a recliner but ended up buying a whole living room set.
We bought a bed and mattress that was delivered on April 5th (2023). We had it professionally installed by Ashley's guys. It's a king size bed. The middle support legs have broken on three separate occasions. After the first occurrence, we called and informed the company of the situation and they sent us replacement legs. Nothing wrong with that. But after the second and subsequently third leg breaks, they continue to just offer us replacements of a clearly cheaply made product. We're still paying on the bed. We worry every night if it's about to randomly break again. Our last visit to the store, the sales person recommended us to leave it alone until the team from Evansville can get to us. It's literally broken at the center of the bed at the top. We're sleeping in a sinkhole. Would anyone working here tolerate this? I honestly assumed that Ashley, a nationally recognized brand, would be a quality furniture provider, but our experience has been anything but. While everyone we've dealt with has been polite, it feels as if our situation has been kicked down the road and dismissed almost entirely. Do your research before you purchase anything that has to be assembled.

Prices were much more affordable than I anticipated (we usually are bargain hunters and go for the cheaper stuff) and our Sales Consultant Sonya Young did a phenomenal job helping us find what we needed, getting the best pricing possible - taking advantage of sales and price matching and made the purchase and delivery as smooth as could be. She was friendly, helpful, extremely responsive through both phone and text and really made the original and then follow-up purchase a great experience. I can easily recommend this store for anyone in Owensboro looking for just the right piece of furniture or bed, and I'd definitely recommend you ask for our Salesperson: Sonya when you walked in the door!

Bought a $1600 bedroom set from them. Had a defective dresser. Called them to let them know, said someone would come out and fix it. 2 weeks go by and nothing. Called again. Same thing. I gave up (shouldnt have) Its a year later and i have a dresser drawer that collapses down on the drawer below it, rendering both drawers not able to be used. I waited too long to review. Wish i left 1 star earlier Terrible customer service and lazy cheap assembly. Ikea is better quality

Not sure how this store has as many good reviews as it does! This is my second bad experience with them and will be my last. The first one I bought a hybrid king mattress and it ended up with a swag in the middle in less than a month so I told them I wanted just the memory foam to replace and was less expensive yet they didn’t credit me the difference. This time the salesman told me my sectional came with throw pillows, it didn’t! Said I had 30 days to decide to proceed, I didn’t it was 24 hours and there is no way you can determine that because the product is made at the factory and takes 3 weeks to make and ship. The factory left plastic under the fabric (sewed into) the right reclining end, and the left recliner already is leaning to the left after 2 weeks of use and no our family isn’t 700 lbs. So now we’re stuck with a 3500 sectional with yet another misleading salesman and a warranty we plan to use to the fullest extent, in the meantime we’re sitting on the floor waiting for repairs. BUYERS BEWARE! Will definitely be our last time, 2nd time around….shame on us!!!!!!!

Have spent a lot of money there in past but tonight was disappointing by management and their lack of customer care.
Bought a whole house full of furniture ordered a California king bed they lied to me and told me they ordered a California king bed when they did not. The bed fell apart because it was not put together correctly from their sloppy quality installation people that didn’t even have enough tools.. it fell apart at 2 am in the morning!!! Bed came crashing down on us. we realized that they had lied and only sold me a king bed. I waited 4 months to get the California king bed and then they didn’t have any boxsprings to fit and left me hanging!!
Unless you want to wait for a whole year plus for furniture I wouldn’t no waste your money. Bought a bedroom suite in April and won’t be in until late January. Never again will I buy from this company unless I’m stock.

And if I was you I would think twice about ordering anything from here!! Ridiculous!!

It's been over 2 months and still waiting on our mattress.We paid almost$700 and have yet been able to pick it up. I DO NOT recommend this store. When bought our mattress they told us it would be 2weeks after purchase when can pick it up NOT over 2 MONTHS and still waiting.

Sonya is an amazing rep for Ashley Furniture. She assisted me with that purchase of a new bed, couch, loveseat, mattress and box spring. My mattress was not helping my back, but hurting it more. Because of the warranty they offer, I was able to go in and select a new mattress that worked for me. I also purchased the adjustable base. She is so kind. If you ever need assistance, she is there to assist you at the Owensboro store. 5 stars because she is absolutely amazing.

We were looking for new bed pillows. It’s a necessary chore for us because we both have problems getting a good nights sleep. A doctor suggested we get new bed pillows to help improve our sleep. We were expecting to deliberate for a while in making this important decision. The sales person, Sarah, was so helpful and informative. She made the difficult decision, (because my husband and I sleep totally opposite of each other -side verses stomach), very easy. She wasn’t pushy and didn’t rush us at all. She didn’t hover over us either. She gave us time alone to talk about the price and size, etc. Ashleys has a lot of choices in bed pillows to accommodate every kind of sleeper. AND we’re already having better quality sleep with the new pillows. Thank you Sarah for your expert help! You made it so easy and we’re very happy with our choices. Also, I saw some other things as I was leaving. I’ll be back. 😉

My husband and I placed our order 2 months before moving date in July. We had a great sales rep who was beyond helpful in the store. However, when they delivered our furniture they brought the wrong living room set. We looked further and they forgot to include our recliner on the invoice. They also brought a box spring when we didn’t need one. They allowed us to return the box spring in place of the recliner. Earliest delivery date is September 1st, and we have been sitting on the floor or lawn chairs in our new home. We also got a thank you card from Ashley and our helpful rep thanked us and hoped the furniture made our home cozier. 😅 No blame against him though! He was just doing his job.. Update: We received a call to set up delivery the first week of September! The delivery men showed up with one couch out of the 3 piece living room set. After calling the Owensboro store, the manager states the remaining order will not be in until 9/19. No compensation provided. Most likely will be going to Mudds in the future. I have retail experience and I understand the delay due to covid. What I don’t understand is the lack of communication between the distribution center, Ashley local store, and my husband and I.
Have not been impressed at all with overall process, due to lack of communication between sales person and order and delivery staff. We ordered our furniture 2 months before our house was built strategically so we would have our furniture delivered the day we moved in, living room furniture shows up and not only are the couches the wrong color they left off the selected recliner off the delivery invoice all together. We sent everything back and called to correct the delivery info and were told they weren’t sure when the correct furniture would be delivered but they expected all three pieces to be delivered at different times throughout the month of August to first week of September. 1st day of September arrives and they come to deliver the furniture to find the only piece they brought was one couch out of three of the total pieces. I called to get an update on delivery of the other pieces and the girl on the phone basically had no idea when they would be ready but said as of right now guessed the 21st of September which is another 3 weeks away and she was definitely in a hurry to get off the phone with me and not be very helpful at all. Mind you the original day we bought and ordered all this was MAY 25th!! So we’ve been in our new house with virtually no furniture to sit on for going on 2 months. Won’t be ordering from here ever again.

Ordered my furniture the end of May and they keep putting of delivery. They had one in the store and apparently sold it. The manger was very unprofessional and rude about everything he even took his face mask off to yell even louder at us!! 🤬. We did get our delivery charge dropped, but that doesn’t help with an empty living room. Would never recommend them to anyone!! Especially how our store treats customers!

The store in Owensboro Kentucky is a total joke. I walked around for about 5 minutes looking for a sofa and not a single sales rep came and asked me if I needed any help. That's fine though, I took my $1,000 and went to FFO Furniture and was waited on as soon as I walked in the door! I'll never go back to that store again!

My husband and I bought almost 6000.00 of furniture on November 23, 2019. Today is January 22, 2020 and we still do not have it. This delivery time is totally ridiculous and we will be sure to warn others we know that might consider shopping at Ashley’s. Once we FINALLY get our furniture, we will not go back nor will we buy from Ashley online.

I went to the store back at the end of December and had friendly service was pleased with my purchase and I was told delivery would work around my work time which is until 4:30 and would arrive in 3 weeks. Still hasn't arrived yet so I called the store and they said that they could deliver Friday and only deliver until 3pm and wouldn't budge on delivery time meaning I have to take off work now when I specifically asked if they would deliver later so I didn't have to take off. For a $200 delivery fee this is not ok to me.
Stephen Harvey was awesome helping me purchase the exact item I was wanting! Prior to coming to the store I priced it on the website. The store price was $400 more. Stephen was able to price match for me, PLUS save me $50 in delivery costs! Well worth it to look online then head to the store and see your options! Can't wait for our new bed to arrive!

My wife and I went to look for a new bed at Ashley's Furniture and was welcomed as soon as we got in the door. We look at the beds, and my wife choose the one she liked and we contacted the sales man and proceeded to check out. So far so good, after paying for the bed we were leaving and the sales man proceeds to ask how our money situation in our household works. Rather my wife or I controls the money or is it 50/50. We were stunned and all I could say was it was none of his business and promptly left. I have considered canceling the order and i'm still considering it. My wife and I finances are not Ashley's furniture concern and I suggest the sales peaple stay out of thier customers business... I will probably go to value city furniture next time as we have never had an issue there and their prices are a little better.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful! They gave my husband and I enough space to figure out what we wanted but they were still readily available if we had any questions. They made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Finally, their delivery option was great. We live two county's over from the nearest Ashley Homestore. For a minimal fee, they are going to deliver it for us and put it together!

Purchased a bed for my daughter here and almost cancelled the purchase when I was told it wouldn't be delivered until August 14th two weeks after I made the purchase, as of the 15th not a word from the store, I called and was told that it might arrive the week of August 20th, of course my daughter will be gone again until next month at that point. No one from the store has gotten in touch with me, and a very disappointed 6 year old girl looking for a different bed now.
We had Sydney as a sales associate and she was awesome. Not pushy and answered all our questions thoroughly. We were in there for 3+ hours trying to make our minds up on a pretty big purchase and she didnt show the slightest bit of frustration on her end. The manager was able to work with us a little bit to help us get what we wanted. I’ve not been a big fan of Ashley before due to their high prices but we did get what we wanted for a good price. Sooo disappointing and they are so casual about it...attitude is like oh well it's a guesstimate so get over it...hope this review helps anyone looking for furniture. I will never purchase there again. Also. Last minute after you paid they may throw at you that you will need to travel to Evansville yourself if you don't pay there 99 dollar delivery fee...soo why do we even need a Owensboro location of we must go to Evansville anyway....just all readers ask them a few questions before you purchase. I found out alot after they already got paid.... No I was not happy..

Bought 2 Twin beds and mattresses, etc. The mattresses were their most expensive 12 inch ones. When they delivered, mattresses were vacuumed sealed and popped up when unsealed. One of the mattresses slopes in the middle. That was 2 weeks ago and it still has not popped up. No one from Ashley even called to see if I was satisfied with the beds. I have lost trust in the store, feeling they didn't care if I was a satisfied customer. Wish I had bought elsewhere.

My family and I went in to begin the process of searching for a new mattress with no true intent on purchasing at the first place we stopped. Well first place not including Sleep Outfitters down the road that had a sign up about lunch and the door locked during business hours. Anyway, we were greeted by Sonya at the door and she was nothing less than FANTASTIC. We have a 3 and 5 year old who act their age sometimes but every one there did their best to make sure the kids were entertained so we could focus on shopping. This experience was amazing and Sonya made sure we ended up with exactly what we wanted, even though I changed my mind at least fifteen times. Please do your shopping here, they made it so enjoyable we ended up purchasing our first ever brand new mattress and bed.

We bought a recliner and sectional from here, it's not even 3 years old and is peeling they only give us $900 instore credit for our $2400 set. The quality of their stuff is not good and they will not stand behind their product. Oh we also bought the warranty that does not cover it.

It was horrible. I bought bedroom suit and mattress and box spring, I've had it for 5 months and the mattress done has a rip from it and this was the top of the line brand, the dresser and the foot board has already broke and the wood is done coming off. I will NEVER buy from them again!

My experience with Ashley was excellent because of the salesperson Madeline Reeves. I bought a love seat at the Owensboro store and was amazed how much she helped me. I was being very selective as I have arthritis in my back. She patiently showed and let me try sitting on almost every love seat they had. She was personable and friendly, and I will now ask for her whenever I buy anything there! She certainly understands the value of good customer service!

I am sales associate with Ashley Furniture and I've purchased 2 mattresses and many other pieces of furniture with the most recent a TV Stand with fireplaceach. It warms up my room and looks amazing in my home. Our mattress was 16 years old and we finally bought a temper pedic a little over a year ago... it's really changed the quality of my sleep. Recently in our spare bedroom I bought our best selling hybrid. My guest do not want to leave. They say it's like sleeping in a 5 star hotel. Also I have the vertex cover on my mattresses. If you are a hot sleeper I highly recommend trying one. It really is cool...

We went in shopping for a new mattress and box springs as we were moving shortly. Madeline McCormick was our sales person. She was great. She had me lay down and try out the mattress I was interested in. She helped me get a prompt date for my purchases arrival. No push for high dollars only the best customer service first. Great craftsman ship
I bought the Overly reclining sofa and the Overly chair and a half recliner in November of 2015. They told me that it would be January before it could be delivered but they called and was able to deliver in December. I was so happy because I wanted it by Christmas with family coming in. Before the end of January I noticed that the foam in the seat cushion and footrest began to wrinkle up under the fabric. It really began to look bad and I was actually ashamed for anyone to see it. I called Ashley Furniture at the end of February and spoke with a wonderful lady named Katie. She told me that she would have to order the foam and when it came in they would call me and schedule a time for the technician to come out and fix it. I called back every week wondering if the foam had come in. Katie told me no and that it sometimes takes awhile for replacement parts to come in. By the end of March I was beginning to think that I was getting the run around. I could not believe that it took this long for a piece of foam to come in. When I called the first full week of April Katie told me that it was due in that week. Sure enough it came in at the end of the week and the technician called and we set up an appointment. Today the technician arrived. His name is Matt and I was extremely impressed with his bubbly personality, friendliness and knowledge of the job that needed to be done. I watched him take the seat and footrest apart to where it was only the fabric. Of course I'm getting a little nervous wondering if my $800.00 recliner was going to look and sit like it did when I bought it. I also told him that I could feel a board at the bottom of the footrest. I am so impressed at the quality of work and impressed at the workmanship that Matt provided. My chair sits better than when I bought it and looks brand new again. I just want to say Thank You to both Katie and Matt for a job well done. It was a pleasure doing business with Ashley 's Furniture and an honor to have had a rewarding experience with the service department. Kudos to Katie and Matt. I am one happy customer and will do business with them in the future.

This store should not be in business. Purchased a sofa and 2 recliners with protection plan. My sofa creaks and cracks and the cushions are out of shape. Called store and the protection plan does not cover a barely year old couch and was told that if I drove my sofa to Evansville they might do something about cushions might not a guarantee. I have never heard of such a thing I have been buying furniture for many years and thought was getting top of the line furniture from a reputable company. I should have just went to a flea market and paid less. Buyer beware this store is a hoax cares nothing about customer after sale and the protection plan is garbage. You get a certificate when you buy the plan that states Ashley wants you to enjoy your purchase and if you have no claims in 5 years you will get 100 dollars back how can you file a claim if nothing is covered just a scam.
This place is a joke. I asked for the top of the line leather couch loveseat and recliner, something that would last me years and 9 months later my leather is peeling off?? I don't want my "leather" repainted, I want my money back!
